- 0:05Speaker 1: This is America with Rich Valdez, powered by politweek dot Com.
- 0:10Speaker 2: And Rich Valdees is with US former Christian Administration.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Official you worked for, Chris Christie. You've been follows each
- 0:14Speaker 3: a lot of public service stuff.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Rich Valdez Communist now with the Washington Times.
- 0:18Speaker 1: This is America, Richiev.
- 0:20Speaker 5: You're on the air with the Nation of the Nation
- 0:22Speaker 5: with America with.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Your host, Rich Valdez.
- 0:25Speaker 4: What's up, America. I am Rich Valdez Valdez with an
- 0:28Speaker 4: s at Rich Valdest on all of the social media,
- 0:31Speaker 4: seventeen blocks away from Madison Square Garden right here in
- 0:35Speaker 4: New York City. Honored and blessed to be here with you.
- 0:38Speaker 4: Give me a call in our late night national town
- 0:40Speaker 4: hall conversation. Here's the number eight seven seven Valdes one,
- 0:44Speaker 4: eight seven seven VALDESZ one. And obviously by now you
- 0:48Speaker 4: know that Ed Trompito has freed Iran. Tehran is free
- 0:54Speaker 4: today because of Ed Trompito and the United States military.
- 0:58Speaker 4: And many of you went to sleep on Friday just
- 1:00Speaker 4: like I did, thinking, man, this thing is coming soon.
- 1:03Speaker 4: And as you heard on my Friday program, as you
- 1:05Speaker 4: heard on Thursday, even on Wednesday, with General Blaine Holt.
- 1:07Speaker 4: An attack on Iran was imminent. Why just look at
- 1:11Speaker 4: the way we did it when we took out the
- 1:12Speaker 4: big nuclear mountain in fod Oh, right, same thing. Friday
- 1:18Speaker 4: night into Saturday. It's always Friday night into Saturday. That's
- 1:20Speaker 4: how they roll, I think, to maximize the amount of
- 1:23Speaker 4: time during the weekend so that they can come back
- 1:26Speaker 4: Monday and go, hey, look at what we did. So anyway,
- 1:30Speaker 4: kudos to the American military. God bless America. Fantastic work
- 1:35Speaker 4: being done. As far as I know right now, three
- 1:38Speaker 4: casualties on the American side, God bless them and their families.
- 1:42Speaker 4: But by and large, things continue. Operations continue, not only
- 1:46Speaker 4: in Tehran but throughout Iran. The Iranians hitting back and
- 1:49Speaker 4: hitting back hard. Raising Cain, the general of this operation,
- 1:54Speaker 4: spoke out, I'll give you a clip on that. Of course,
- 1:56Speaker 4: many of us woke up. I want to start from
- 1:58Speaker 4: the beginning with Edro. Now. I happen to be awake
- 2:01Speaker 4: at that time because I do my show late in
- 2:04Speaker 4: the evening, and then of course I don't sleep because
- 2:06Speaker 4: I pound the coffee. Right, it was three o'clock in
- 2:10Speaker 4: the morning or two something when I saw the video
- 2:12Speaker 4: that President Trump put out announcing that military operations in
- 2:16Speaker 4: Iran had commenced. Check this out.
- 2:18Speaker 6: To the members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, the armed forces,
- 2:23Speaker 6: and all of the police, I say tonight that you
- 2:27Speaker 6: must lay down your weapons and have complete immunity, or,
- 2:31Speaker 6: in the alternative, face certain death. So lay down your arms.
- 2:37Speaker 6: You will be treated fairly with total immunity, or you
- 2:42Speaker 6: will face certain death. Finally, to the great proud people
- 2:46Speaker 6: of Iran, I say tonight that the hour of your
- 2:50Speaker 6: freedom is at hand. Stay sheltered, don't leave your home.
- 2:54Speaker 6: It's very dangerous outside. Bombs will be dropping everywhere. When
- 2:58Speaker 6: we are finished take over your government, it will be
- 3:01Speaker 6: yours to take. This will be probably your only chance
- 3:06Speaker 6: for generations. For many years you have asked for America's help,
- 3:11Speaker 6: but you never got it. No president was willing to
- 3:15Speaker 6: do what I am willing to do tonight. Now you
- 3:18Speaker 6: have a president who is giving you what you want.
- 3:21Speaker 6: So let's see how you respond. America is backing you
- 3:25Speaker 6: with overwhelming strength and devastating force. Now is the time
- 3:30Speaker 6: to seize control of your destiny and to unleash the
- 3:33Speaker 6: prosperous and glorious future that is close within your reach.
- 3:38Speaker 6: This is the moment for action.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Do not let it pass.
- 3:42Speaker 6: May God bless the brave men and women of America's
- 3:45Speaker 6: Armed forces. May God bless the United States of America.
- 3:50Speaker 4: May God bless you all. Thank you, all, right, So
- 3:54Speaker 4: we gave you a little bit longer in the video
- 3:56Speaker 4: than I wanted to give you, but you figured out
- 3:58Speaker 4: the gist of it right. It was impactful. He said
- 4:02Speaker 4: you will meet certain death, and again the Iranians are
- 4:07Speaker 4: meeting certain death today, President Trump saying it was their
- 4:10Speaker 4: own arrogance that got them that. They didn't think it
- 4:12Speaker 4: was going to be this easy to get them all
- 4:14Speaker 4: in one place. I think now the leadership structure of
- 4:18Speaker 4: the United States is now keeping tally, saying forty nine
- 4:23Speaker 4: of the top leaders in Iran have been assassinated. At
- 4:27Speaker 4: least that was the number I heard. If that's wrong,
- 4:28Speaker 4: forgive me, sue me. But there's a lot to get
- 4:33Speaker 4: into here. I mean, you've seen most of his stuff
- 4:34Speaker 4: play out on social media. You've seen a lot of
- 4:36Speaker 4: this playoff on the news. What you haven't heard is
- 4:40Speaker 4: what I think of it. So sit back, relax, lock
- 4:43Speaker 4: in with me. We're going to get into a bunch
- 4:44Speaker 4: of different things. I want to give you that clip
- 4:47Speaker 4: from General Kin, General Raisin Kin as they call him.
- 4:51Speaker 4: He made a statement today that was very much a
- 4:54Speaker 4: statement not just for the American people, but I believe
- 4:57Speaker 4: to the enemies of our million terry. Listen to this.
- 5:02Speaker 7: To those who would test our resolve or threaten the
- 5:06Speaker 7: United States, our allies, or our interests, understand clearly, we
- 5:12Speaker 7: can reach you. We can sustain the fight, and we
- 5:16Speaker 7: can scale the fight, and we will prevail. To the
- 5:20Speaker 7: American people. Your Joint Force remains steady, frosty, calm and focused.
- 5:28Speaker 7: Your service members are trained, disciplined, and determined. We understand
- 5:35Speaker 7: the risks of this mission and the weight of the
- 5:38Speaker 7: responsibility that we carry. We also recognize that our families
- 5:44Speaker 7: also shoulder the burden at home. You are a part
- 5:48Speaker 7: of this too. I am proud today, as I am
- 5:52Speaker 7: every day to stand as a member of America's Joint Force.
- 5:56Speaker 7: There is no mission too complex, no distance to great,
- 6:00Speaker 7: and no adversary too determined. For the men and women
- 6:04Speaker 7: who wear our nation's uniform, we mourn are fallen, we
- 6:09Speaker 7: honor their families, and we continue our mission with focus,
- 6:14Speaker 7: unity and strength. And now I'm happy to take any questions.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Again, that's general Raisin Kine, don't mess with the US military.
- 6:24Speaker 4: And Pete Hegseth, Secretary of War coming in hardcore. I'll
- 6:28Speaker 4: give you that right after this segment, right before we
- 6:30Speaker 4: go into our guest segment, and that I want to
- 6:34Speaker 4: tell you. You know, people always criticize me for being
- 6:37Speaker 4: too nice, and I try to be a gentleman. I
- 6:40Speaker 4: try to not scare people off right. Something I mentioned
- 6:44Speaker 4: to you guys the other day that I didn't learn
- 6:46Speaker 4: from Editorum Petle, but when I was interviewing him, he
- 6:49Speaker 4: reiterated that he noticed and he said, you know, this business,
- 6:53Speaker 4: it's tough because if you're too soft, people won't respect you,
- 6:57Speaker 4: and if you're too hardcore, you won't get those guests
- 6:59Speaker 4: to come in. Now, recently I had a guest come
- 7:01Speaker 4: in that was a BBC straight news, mainstream media journalist.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Said a lot of things I didn't agree with, said
- 7:11Speaker 4: some things I do agree with, like the role of
- 7:13Speaker 4: the CIA and how they are many of our enemies
- 7:16Speaker 4: got it. I think a lot of us know that.
- 7:18Speaker 4: But it's always good to hear from the other side,
- 7:21Speaker 4: especially when you can find common ground, and that I
- 7:25Speaker 4: found listen to this. Former United States senator is an
- 7:30Speaker 4: ally of the muja Hadeen in Iran right as advocated
- 7:34Speaker 4: for them for many years to be a free Iran.
- 7:39Speaker 4: He was in Congress before that, Senate, excuse me, a
- 7:43Speaker 4: House Foreign Relations Committee, and before that he served in
- 7:46Speaker 4: the White House in the Carter administration. Been around for
- 7:51Speaker 4: a long time. He's a Democrat. His name is Bob
- 7:55Speaker 4: the Torch Torcelli. He's going to be joining me in
- 7:58Speaker 4: the next segment, so keep it locked right here. Former
- 8:00Speaker 4: US Senator Bob Torricelli joins me, and of course me,
- 8:03Speaker 4: Rich Valdes, don't go anywhere.
- 8:05Speaker 8: This is America.
- 8:15Speaker 1: This is America. He's brown, he's bald, and he's breaking
- 8:19Speaker 1: it down.
- 8:20Speaker 4: Oh he's still had someome what's his day, Rich Veldez,
- 8:28Speaker 4: what's up, America? It's Rich VALDESK. Welcome back. And you
- 8:31Speaker 4: saw the breaking news over the weekend the United States
- 8:35Speaker 4: going into Operation Epic Fury, taking out the Ayatola, and
- 8:39Speaker 4: a couple of ancillary prizes like getting the leader of
- 8:42Speaker 4: the Taliban as well. We'll get to that in a
- 8:43Speaker 4: little bit. But hours ago I got a quote right
- 8:46Speaker 4: here from Secretary Pete Hegseth saying this morning that anyone
- 8:50Speaker 4: threatening Americans will be hunted down and killed.
- 8:55Speaker 9: It took the forty seventh president, a fighter who always
- 8:58Speaker 9: puts America first, to final draw the line after forty
- 9:01Speaker 9: seven years of Iranian belligerents.
- 9:04Speaker 4: He reminded the world, as.
- 9:05Speaker 9: He has time and time again, being an American means
- 9:08Speaker 9: something unbreakable. If you kill Americans, if you threaten Americans
- 9:13Speaker 9: anywhere on Earth, we will hunt you down without apology
- 9:17Speaker 9: and without hesitation, and we will kill you.
- 9:21Speaker 4: It took the forty seventh president to stop forty seven
- 9:24Speaker 4: years of oppression. Of course, referring to Iran, I'm going
- 9:27Speaker 4: to get some reaction to that, on these strikes, on
- 9:30Speaker 4: everything else that's been ensuing from that. From our guest,
- 9:33Speaker 4: Senator Bob Torricelli, retired senator from New Jersey Senator, it's
- 9:37Speaker 4: a pleasure, welcome, Thank you for having me. You bet so.
- 9:40Speaker 4: I take a look at this, and I say, you know,
- 9:42Speaker 4: the last strike that we saw was very similar. It
- 9:45Speaker 4: seems like Trump is the Saturday strike guy, right wait
- 9:48Speaker 4: for Friday night. He goes in some Monday morning boom
- 9:51Speaker 4: headlines galor and he's usually done by then this seems
- 9:54Speaker 4: to be part of the Donro doctrine, at least I'm
- 9:56Speaker 4: adding it to that. It was pretty certain that it
- 9:58Speaker 4: was going to happen this weekend, just because of all
- 9:59Speaker 4: the red that we were hearing and seeing and Jdvan's
- 10:02Speaker 4: meeting with the folks in Geneva, and then as well
- 10:05Speaker 4: as the just the timing seemed right with taking out
- 10:08Speaker 4: the folks in Mexico. Talk to me about your thoughts
- 10:12Speaker 4: on this Thumbs up, thumbs down, How did it go with.
- 10:15Speaker 3: I think rich you need to put this in context.
- 10:18Speaker 3: If we had just started negotiating with another government and
- 10:23Speaker 3: we were six months, a year, two years into negotiations,
- 10:27Speaker 3: and we were making progress and they are operating in
- 10:29Speaker 3: good faith, I would call a military strike in the
- 10:32Speaker 3: midst of it outrageous, bad policy and illegal. But that's
- 10:39Speaker 3: not what we have here. This is forty years successive
- 10:43Speaker 3: administrations have negotiated with Iranians again and again and again.
- 10:48Speaker 3: They have violated, they have delayed, they have lied. The
- 10:53Speaker 3: negotiations were not going to succeed. I don't say that lightly.
- 10:57Speaker 3: All evidence is all historic knowledge of the regime. It
- 11:00Speaker 3: was not going to work. And as the President has
- 11:03Speaker 3: pointed out this is on top of repeated attacks in
- 11:07Speaker 3: different contexts from Iraq to Saudi Arabia and Africa to
- 11:14Speaker 3: the Red Sea where they have murdered American soldiers. Enough
- 11:19Speaker 3: was enough. I think the United States has exhibited more
- 11:22Speaker 3: than enough patients. It was the right thing to.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Do, Senator, we see people dancing in the streets. We're
- 11:31Speaker 4: seeing you know, I've seen video after video on social
- 11:34Speaker 4: media of women crying, people super thankful to the United States,
- 11:38Speaker 4: thankful to President Trump for taking this action. Some people
- 11:42Speaker 4: are criticizing those videos, saying this is propaganda from the
- 11:46Speaker 4: movement that was in opposition. Others saying, this is a
- 11:49Speaker 4: genuine reaction from we the people. You've been around the
- 11:52Speaker 4: block a few more times than I have.
- 11:54Speaker 3: What do you think, Well, I think it's divided. I've
- 11:59Speaker 3: been close to the Raian opposition, the International THEOSK for
- 12:02Speaker 3: for years. There is no question there are millions of
- 12:05Speaker 3: Iranians who want regime change. Ten thousand of them may
- 12:09Speaker 3: have died in the last month. Thousands of others have
- 12:13Speaker 3: died in the course of the last twenty and thirty
- 12:15Speaker 3: years in opposition. There have been four major uprisings. All
- 12:19Speaker 3: have been crushed by overwhelming power from the regime against
- 12:24Speaker 3: people on the streets. There's also no question that there
- 12:27Speaker 3: is an entrenched elite in the country that has lived
- 12:31Speaker 3: off the revenue oil revenues and the work and sweat
- 12:35Speaker 3: of the Iranian people for decades. They will not go lightly.
- 12:39Speaker 3: They will fight to the end. They're fighting now, so
- 12:42Speaker 3: it's divided, but I don't have any question in my
- 12:45Speaker 3: mind that the overwhelming majority of Iranians will rejoice as
- 12:50Speaker 3: they have rejoiced at the death of the Ayatola and
- 12:52Speaker 3: the collapse of the regime, if we can bring it
- 12:55Speaker 3: to that point.
- 12:57Speaker 4: You made a good point in that there's the continue
- 13:00Speaker 4: to fight back, and President Trump outlined us as it
- 13:03Speaker 4: taking some time and that casualties were to be expected
- 13:06Speaker 4: when he made his initial announcement of this action, that
- 13:10Speaker 4: being said, the Strait of Hormuz is under attack. They're
- 13:15Speaker 4: taking tankers. This seems to be the play of the
- 13:18Speaker 4: Iranian play, got it. I look at this as a
- 13:22Speaker 4: as a novice, an observer from our end over here,
- 13:26Speaker 4: and I think this won't last that long. They don't
- 13:28Speaker 4: have the firepower. It's kind of like we're digging our
- 13:31Speaker 4: heels in the sand and we're not going out without
- 13:32Speaker 4: a fight, but they're going to go out. Nonetheless, how
- 13:35Speaker 4: long do you think this goes on? And do you
- 13:37Speaker 4: think that my analysis is ignorant and that this can
- 13:42Speaker 4: be prolonged and protracted?
- 13:46Speaker 3: First, I think it's very hard to know, and I
- 13:48Speaker 3: don't know whether the United States knows. The Iranians have
- 13:51Speaker 3: an enormous store of ballistic missiles and drones and the
- 13:55Speaker 3: industrial capability to keep making drones. With the ballistic missiles.
- 13:59Speaker 3: It's not simply happening missiles they have, it's how many launchers.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And I've read in the popular press they may have
- 14:04Speaker 3: lost half their launchers already to American and Israeli attacks.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I think that supply is exhausted faster because of the
- 14:14Speaker 3: dependence on the limited number of launchers, and they are
- 14:17Speaker 3: by far the most dangerous. The American and more of
- 14:22Speaker 3: the Israeli defenses seem to be not able to stop
- 14:26Speaker 3: all the ballistic missiles, and I think there are also
- 14:29Speaker 3: questions about how many interceptors the Israelis have left. That
- 14:34Speaker 3: leaves the arranges with the enormous numbers of drones, they
- 14:38Speaker 3: are not as effective, they're not as powerful, but they
- 14:41Speaker 3: are great in numbers, and they can swarm a navy
- 14:45Speaker 3: ship or an air base. There's reason to be concerned
- 14:49Speaker 3: about them. What I don't know is on our navy
- 14:52Speaker 3: ships the depth of supply of intercepting munitions as well.
- 15:00Speaker 3: No American supplies have been strained. We've given a lot
- 15:03Speaker 3: to the Ukraine, We've used a lot ourselves in the
- 15:05Speaker 3: Middle East, and we've given a lot to the Israelis.
- 15:08Speaker 3: That does concern me.
- 15:12Speaker 4: From what you're hearing right now on the ground, Senator,
- 15:15Speaker 4: would you say that this seems to be going as
- 15:20Speaker 4: planned or are we experiencing operational hiccups that weren't expected.
- 15:26Speaker 3: My guess is it's going better than planned. Every time
- 15:30Speaker 3: the American military is engaged, whether you support the operation
- 15:33Speaker 3: or not, you have to be in awe the level
- 15:36Speaker 3: of planning, the execution, the quality of the personnel, the
- 15:40Speaker 3: quality of the munitions. I don't say this lightly. The
- 15:43Speaker 3: United States clearly has no peer anywhere in the world
- 15:48Speaker 3: in any of these endeavors. So my guess is it's
- 15:51Speaker 3: probably going better than expected. Having said that, some lives
- 15:55Speaker 3: are lost, America is in the incredible position that we
- 16:00Speaker 3: expect to fight these engagements without loss of life. That's unrealistic.
- 16:07Speaker 3: It's impossible. Everything will not go like the Venezuela operation.
- 16:11Speaker 3: When there will be there have been losses of life.
- 16:14Speaker 3: It's tragic and we mourn it, but it's inevitable.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I get that, and I think the President
- 16:23Speaker 4: kind of alluded to some of that in his initial
- 16:25Speaker 4: announcement which I have, which i'd never heard before, honestly,
- 16:28Speaker 4: which I thought was, you know, kind of a sobering.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Now switching gears. I want to take a quick pause
- 16:35Speaker 4: right here and then come right back and talk about
- 16:37Speaker 4: what the future looks like for the Iranian people, democracy
- 16:42Speaker 4: and new regime, etc. I mean, it goes. Keep it
- 16:45Speaker 4: locked right here. It's rich Valdez, our guest from the
- 16:48Speaker 4: Garden State, the Great State of New Jersey. That's where
- 16:50Speaker 4: I live. Retired Senator the Torch himself, Bob Towards Elli's
- 16:55Speaker 4: with us. We're coming right back.
- 16:57Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 17:17Speaker 4: President Banatik Trump, mister President, welcome to the program sir.
- 17:21Speaker 8: Well, thank you, Richard, thank you for everything.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I know you very well and I have.
- 17:25Speaker 6: I listen, but I have a lot of people that
- 17:27Speaker 6: listen and they love your show and I appreciate it
- 17:30Speaker 6: very much.
- 17:31Speaker 5: What is your message to President Trump?
- 17:34Speaker 10: My message to President Trump is that I'm here to
- 17:37Speaker 10: echo and join millions of my compatriots inside and outs
- 17:41Speaker 10: out of Iran to thank him for having done and
- 17:44Speaker 10: having the courage to do what is not easy but intervene,
- 17:49Speaker 10: and he will go down in the annals of Iran
- 17:51Speaker 10: in history as the most celebrated foreign leader that changed
- 17:54Speaker 10: the Bowl game and changed the world as a result.
- 17:58Speaker 5: In Januaryident Trump said this about you quote. He seems
- 18:04Speaker 5: very nice, but I don't know how he'd play within
- 18:08Speaker 5: his own country. I don't know whether or not his
- 18:11Speaker 5: country would accept his leadership, and certainly if they would,
- 18:15Speaker 5: that would be fine with me. You don't seem to
- 18:19Speaker 5: have President Trump's wholehearted support.
- 18:22Speaker 10: Well, first of all, I don't think that somebody in
- 18:24Speaker 10: my position will ever expect to have an official endorsement
- 18:28Speaker 10: of a foreign government or a foreign leader. What I
- 18:31Speaker 10: do know now is that millions of Iranians inside Iran,
- 18:34Speaker 10: and that'side of Iran calling my name that recognize in
- 18:38Speaker 10: me the person uniquely taste to play a role of
- 18:41Speaker 10: transitional leadership, not running for office, because that's not what
- 18:45Speaker 10: I'm doing but to be abrieged to that descine, all.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Right, and he goes, Welcome back, Rich Weald. As we
- 18:50Speaker 4: continue the conversation on Iran with United States Senator Bob
- 18:54Speaker 4: torres Selly, he's retired, but he's still in the Garden State.
- 18:57Speaker 4: He's still plugged in and he's with us right now. Senator,
- 19:00Speaker 4: I want to talk about the future of what happens here.
- 19:06Speaker 4: We saw this clip of Rasia Palavi, the son of
- 19:09Speaker 4: the Shah, in sixty minutes last night. He said that
- 19:13Speaker 4: President Trump made a permanent mark in history. He's defining
- 19:17Speaker 4: history by what he's doing. Then, obviously there are many critics,
- 19:20Speaker 4: of course, one of them being Mariam Rajavi, the People's Movement, Hadeen,
- 19:25Speaker 4: and others that have been in opposition. So I want
- 19:28Speaker 4: to get your thoughts on some of this stuff, because
- 19:32Speaker 4: even President Trump has voiced some concerns, saying, I don't
- 19:35Speaker 4: know if the Iranian people will take Raja Povlavi, but
- 19:38Speaker 4: if they do like him, then I like them.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Well. The tragedy of all this would be is if
- 19:43Speaker 3: all these lives are lost, all this sacrifice and we
- 19:47Speaker 3: go from the Ayatola back to the Shah. I think
- 19:50Speaker 3: it's instructive that the most common chant you're hearing in
- 19:53Speaker 3: the streets of Iran is no to the ayahtola noe
- 19:57Speaker 3: of the dictator. They don't want to go back, and
- 20:00Speaker 3: who would, I mean, all of this sacrifice, of all
- 20:03Speaker 3: of these years in this struggle to lose a revolution again.
- 20:07Speaker 3: When the people rose up against the Shah forty some
- 20:11Speaker 3: years ago, they were doing it because they wanted a republic,
- 20:14Speaker 3: They wanted a free country, and it was robbed from
- 20:18Speaker 3: them by the clerics. Now they may have a shot again.
- 20:22Speaker 3: This time they can't lose it to another dictator. We need.
- 20:26Speaker 3: The people of Iran deserve and clearly want a democratic republic.
- 20:30Speaker 3: And I this is how anyone can think that the
- 20:34Speaker 3: Shah's son is the right answer here for the people
- 20:38Speaker 3: of Iran or for the United States and others who
- 20:41Speaker 3: want stability in the region. Is fanciful? It just it
- 20:44Speaker 3: would be a tragedy.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Is it fair? And I don't know the guy, maybe
- 20:49Speaker 4: you do. Is it fair to make the comparison of
- 20:52Speaker 4: the Shah and his son as one and the same,
- 20:55Speaker 4: or is their room to say the Shah is also
- 20:58Speaker 4: interested in democracy? And I don't know the guy, but
- 21:00Speaker 4: all I've heard him say is talking about being an
- 21:02Speaker 4: interim the facto leader. Is that a ruse to get
- 21:07Speaker 4: his foot in the door and never leave or is
- 21:09Speaker 4: that truly just an interest in saying, look, I'm one
- 21:11Speaker 4: of the Well, this is.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Iran is a nation of over ninety million people, with
- 21:17Speaker 3: one of the largest oil reserves of the world and
- 21:20Speaker 3: apparently considerable military industrial To believe that someone who fled
- 21:29Speaker 3: Iran as a young man, having spent most of his
- 21:32Speaker 3: life in schools in Europe and has now lived in
- 21:35Speaker 3: Los Angeles for forty seven years, is the right answer
- 21:38Speaker 3: to governing Iran, it stretches credibility. He's never run anything,
- 21:47Speaker 3: I don't know if he's ever had a job, and
- 21:49Speaker 3: now for forty seven years to go from Los Angeles
- 21:52Speaker 3: to running the country of Iran. This is how mistakes
- 21:55Speaker 3: are made in history. I don't know who the next
- 21:58Speaker 3: leader of Iran will be, but I assure you that
- 22:01Speaker 3: that leadership should come somewhere between the professional class in Iran,
- 22:07Speaker 3: people in the military who are not loyal to the
- 22:10Speaker 3: current regime, the deos fora like the National Council Resistance
- 22:15Speaker 3: and missus Rajavi who have struggled for years for a
- 22:18Speaker 3: democratic Iran. The answer is among those groups. It is
- 22:23Speaker 3: certainly not from the clerics who've abused the country for
- 22:27Speaker 3: forty seven years, and it's certainly not from anyone who's
- 22:30Speaker 3: ever associated with the Shah. And we don't need someone
- 22:33Speaker 3: who's been on the cocktail rout in Los Angeles forty
- 22:36Speaker 3: seven years. It's in those groups in the diaspora and
- 22:39Speaker 3: from within the country.
- 22:42Speaker 4: What are your thoughts of people that And again, I
- 22:44Speaker 4: am forty seven years old, so you know, a lot
- 22:46Speaker 4: of this predates me. But I look at old videos,
- 22:50Speaker 4: I remember Reagan's speeches, and I look at this and
- 22:53Speaker 4: I see some people, even in these videos where they're
- 22:55Speaker 4: celebrating in the streets, some of them are holding pictures
- 22:59Speaker 4: of of the Shah's son of Pavlovi, the crown Prince,
- 23:03Speaker 4: you know, with their thank you mister Trump, and holding
- 23:05Speaker 4: pictures of Pavlave. At the same time as Trump is saying,
- 23:08Speaker 4: I don't know, you know, I don't know the guy.
- 23:10Speaker 4: If you liked the guy, I like the guy. Right.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Trump's pretty much hands off on this from what I
- 23:14Speaker 4: could see. He's saying, you know, do what you got
- 23:16Speaker 4: to do what.
- 23:17Speaker 3: I don't know the videos you've seen, but I do know.
- 23:20Speaker 3: I do know that some of the things you've read
- 23:24Speaker 3: online where people are chanting for the show has actually
- 23:28Speaker 3: gone back if you've actually interpreted them in Farsitie. They
- 23:30Speaker 3: weren't yelling that at all. It was just being over.
- 23:33Speaker 3: And I don't know that the signs weren't putting their
- 23:35Speaker 3: hands either. By video, you have to be careful what
- 23:37Speaker 3: you watch these days, but I don't. I haven't seen
- 23:40Speaker 3: any evidence that there's any interest in anyone in the
- 23:43Speaker 3: in the in returning the shot of power.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Got it? And now let me ask you this. You said,
- 23:50Speaker 4: you know, you've spent many years very close to the
- 23:52Speaker 4: diaspora of Iran and the Persian people. You're elected as
- 23:58Speaker 4: the United States Senator from New Jersey. In my career,
- 24:01Speaker 4: I got to take over the radio show of a
- 24:03Speaker 4: great guy named Larry King, and he had a great
- 24:07Speaker 4: question that he asked his guests, and I'm going to
- 24:09Speaker 4: ask you, And he would say, how's a nice kid
- 24:11Speaker 4: from Jersey get involved in all of this? How's all
- 24:15Speaker 4: this that for you?
- 24:17Speaker 3: Well, you know, but long before I was at the center,
- 24:18Speaker 3: I was in the House Representatives for many years, representing
- 24:20Speaker 3: Bergen and Hudson Counties, and I was on the Forearm
- 24:24Speaker 3: Relations Committee. And this is this is the just only
- 24:28Speaker 3: two three years after the Iranian Revolution, and Iranians from
- 24:32Speaker 3: around the country would come by the office and try
- 24:36Speaker 3: to get all of us into Congress who are intersted
- 24:38Speaker 3: in foreign policy, to pay attention to Iran, because in
- 24:41Speaker 3: those years, the United States had largely walked away from
- 24:44Speaker 3: Iran after the revolution and the hostage crisis, and they
- 24:47Speaker 3: were unusually dedicated and very focused, and they had formed
- 24:52Speaker 3: this organization of the National Council of Resistance with the
- 24:56Speaker 3: idea of bringing democratic change to Iran. And I was
- 25:00Speaker 3: sympathetic with them. And I in those years used to
- 25:04Speaker 3: listen to people who were fighting for democratic governments in
- 25:07Speaker 3: the Philippines and Korea, and of course against the Soviet Union,
- 25:12Speaker 3: and tried to pay attention to all of them. And
- 25:14Speaker 3: this was one and I was very sympathetic with their ambitions,
- 25:18Speaker 3: knowing how the country had suffered all these years, and
- 25:21Speaker 3: of course how Iran had been hostile to the United States,
- 25:27Speaker 3: in my mind made it even more important.
- 25:30Speaker 4: And you know, I get from a lot of statesmen
- 25:34Speaker 4: like yourself that spend a career, you know, serving the people,
- 25:38Speaker 4: that it's difficult to walk away from those things. When
- 25:41Speaker 4: people quote unquote retire, how's retirement for you? Are you
- 25:45Speaker 4: really retired or are you working harder now than you
- 25:47Speaker 4: ever have?
- 25:48Speaker 3: Well, you know I did. I'm doing much less now,
- 25:51Speaker 3: just as I've gotten older. But I when I left
- 25:54Speaker 3: the government, I very much wanted to develop a private
- 25:59Speaker 3: life and private career. I didn't want to stay in
- 26:02Speaker 3: Washington and hang on the government. So I returned to
- 26:05Speaker 3: New Jersey and started a real estate development firm here
- 26:08Speaker 3: in building houses and stores and offices, and did it
- 26:12Speaker 3: for more than twenty years and now started selling it off.
- 26:16Speaker 3: But it's been great, and I've been blessed. I had
- 26:18Speaker 3: a twenty if include the years I was in the
- 26:21Speaker 3: White House and the Carter Mond administration, twenty five years
- 26:25Speaker 3: in the federal government. Enjoyed it, Learned an enormous amount.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Proud of the contributions I was able to make, but
- 26:31Speaker 3: equally glad that I had a second career in private life,
- 26:35Speaker 3: which was a lot more rewarding and at least financially.
- 26:39Speaker 4: I think, amen, I think that my goal in life
- 26:43Speaker 4: is to be retired, so I always ask, you know,
- 26:45Speaker 4: I always want to know what it's like. I want
- 26:47Speaker 4: to spend the rest of my days vacationing once I
- 26:49Speaker 4: get to that magic dot.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Well, it's just great that these days, I think the
- 26:54Speaker 3: right career for people who want to be in Politan
- 26:56Speaker 3: government is to do it, but don't do it your
- 26:58Speaker 3: whole life. I'm glad that I getting out was a
- 27:02Speaker 3: hard and painful decision because I put so much into it,
- 27:07Speaker 3: but looking back, it was the right decision and it
- 27:10Speaker 3: allowed me to have two careers.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Now, let's talk about this real estate stuff, because a
- 27:14Speaker 4: lot of people have been crying about real estate, especially
- 27:17Speaker 4: I know the neck of the Woods that you know,
- 27:19Speaker 4: you used to represent them from that area, and I'm
- 27:24Speaker 4: hoping that we're going to see a real estate boom
- 27:26Speaker 4: where we'll see commercial properties, retail properties. Is that pie
- 27:30Speaker 4: in the sky thinking for me? Or do you think
- 27:32Speaker 4: we're going to see? You know this, I guess midway
- 27:35Speaker 4: through the year some economic boom, now that interest rates
- 27:39Speaker 4: are beginning to trickle down.
- 27:42Speaker 3: You know, I've developed property in Florida and in New Jersey,
- 27:46Speaker 3: and I think the principal problem we have is it's
- 27:48Speaker 3: hard to do anything in New Jersey. Taxes are high,
- 27:52Speaker 3: utilities are high, regulations are high. Even getting inspections sometimes
- 27:59Speaker 3: in local government for construction is difficult. It's a hard
- 28:04Speaker 3: place to do business. And I regret that. But at
- 28:09Speaker 3: some point someone's got to deal with some of the
- 28:12Speaker 3: structural issues of New Jersey and not manage the problems,
- 28:16Speaker 3: but solve the problems. And that goes to the level
- 28:19Speaker 3: of local taxation and organization, and to date I haven't
- 28:23Speaker 3: seen anybody try, and it's regrettable.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Yeah, do you think we get some of that? Do
- 28:28Speaker 4: you think we get a candidate that gets enough gravitas
- 28:30Speaker 4: and the grassroots to get elected.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Well, But here's the question. So if someone ran for
- 28:35Speaker 3: governor of New Jersey today and said that we have
- 28:38Speaker 3: too many municipalities five hundred and sixty seven, too much
- 28:41Speaker 3: duplication of police forces and fire departments, and schools, some
- 28:45Speaker 3: schools are too small and to be consolidated, all the
- 28:48Speaker 3: things that we know would drive down taxes, would they
- 28:51Speaker 3: get elected. I'm not sure they would. People complain about taxes,
- 28:56Speaker 3: but everybody wants their local school, even if there's only
- 28:59Speaker 3: thirty students in it. Everybody wants their own police department,
- 29:02Speaker 3: even if, like in the town where I live in
- 29:03Speaker 3: hundred County, you have six officers. It's incredibly inefficient, it's
- 29:09Speaker 3: not financially sustainable, it's driving up taxes. But I just
- 29:14Speaker 3: I'm not convinced that even though people are upset about it,
- 29:17Speaker 3: they're willing to vote like they mean it.
- 29:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know. I'm with you there, I'm with
- 29:22Speaker 4: you one hundred percent. That's always been my litmus as well.
- 29:25Speaker 4: I said, you know, the day you vote against the
- 29:26Speaker 4: school budget that comes in your local election, because that's
- 29:29Speaker 4: always been the issue. Right when the schools can't afford something,
- 29:31Speaker 4: they take it to the people, they say, we want
- 29:32Speaker 4: to raise taxes for this, and people go, oh, it's
- 29:34Speaker 4: for the kids, it's for the schools, it's for whatever.
- 29:36Speaker 1: You know.
- 29:37Speaker 4: I don't know. Same thing with new fire trucks and whatnot,
- 29:39Speaker 4: and you need new fire trucks, but there's got to
- 29:41Speaker 4: be a balance somewhere where you know there's.
- 29:43Speaker 3: There has to be a balance, and there's got to
- 29:45Speaker 3: be a balance, and part of it is now too.
- 29:49Speaker 3: One thing in going to development is I think pride
- 29:51Speaker 3: in we never cut down a tree, is that we
- 29:54Speaker 3: need growth, but we also desperately need open space, and
- 29:58Speaker 3: we need to preserve a little open we have left,
- 30:01Speaker 3: because you lose it, it's not coming back. And I
- 30:06Speaker 3: believe that people in New Jersey feel that way, but
- 30:08Speaker 3: I don't see that in their elected officials either, and
- 30:10Speaker 3: that that concerns me. I. You know, I love growing
- 30:14Speaker 3: up in Bergen County, but I also saw a lot
- 30:16Speaker 3: of it destroyed and sprawl and what little open space
- 30:21Speaker 3: we've got left in the state. I hope that doesn't happen. There.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Have things been better for you real estate wise, business
- 30:26Speaker 4: wise in Florida, the Free State of Florida, it seems
- 30:28Speaker 4: like they're experiencing.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Well, it's just much. It's just it's just much easier
- 30:32Speaker 3: to do business, much cheaper to build the kind of
- 30:36Speaker 3: housing that we've done in Florida. You couldn't begin to
- 30:39Speaker 3: construct in New Jersey on the same timeline and the
- 30:41Speaker 3: same cost. They've made it easier to do business. And
- 30:45Speaker 3: it's the taxes too.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I love that. Well, Senator, I want to
- 30:49Speaker 4: thank you for being here. I appreciate it.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Thanks for having me.
- 30:51Speaker 4: God bless you.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Well, bye bye.
- 30:53Speaker 4: I mean those were coming right back.
- 30:55Speaker 1: This is America, this is America.
- 31:01Speaker 4: All right, and he goes, welcome back, Rich Valdez, keeping
- 31:03Speaker 4: your company tonight. I guess if the good centater hadn't
- 31:05Speaker 4: seen these videos, maybe you haven't seen them either. So
- 31:08Speaker 4: I want to play a couple of videos for you.
- 31:09Speaker 4: But I also want to show you the dramatic footage
- 31:11Speaker 4: of a United States pilot getting blown out of the
- 31:15Speaker 4: sky abandoning ship. Parachute makes it to the ground to
- 31:20Speaker 4: meet with an Iranian man who finds her and says,
- 31:23Speaker 4: you can thank you for what you did for us.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Remarkable footag. We're gonna get to that in a couple
- 31:28Speaker 4: of minutes. Right now, I want to go into this
- 31:30Speaker 4: stuff of the people in the streets, men, women, all
- 31:33Speaker 4: sorts of people in the streets of Iran that honestly
- 31:37Speaker 4: quite moving. Let see what you think watch this? Love
- 31:41Speaker 4: you Trump, You can't you can't you imagine a hobby.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Appreciate our country, our people.
- 31:49Speaker 4: I'm really appreciated. We love you, can't you miss the
- 31:53Speaker 4: President Trump. God bless you, God bless America. Thank you,
- 31:58Speaker 4: miss the President. Dear mess that President Trump.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Trump cute comedy.
- 32:03Speaker 10: I'm so happy, Thanks Trump, Thanks Trump.
- 32:06Speaker 4: You are the best man in the world. I love
- 32:08Speaker 4: you Trump. I want to have a big thanks to
- 32:10Speaker 4: President Trump for keeping his promise and freeing people of Iran.
- 32:15Speaker 1: That has nothing to do with this government, with this
- 32:18Speaker 1: terrorist government.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Free a last, free Lass, Thank God, almighty, free Lass. Right,
- 32:23Speaker 4: that's what comes to mind. I don't know why it
- 32:24Speaker 4: came to mind, right, This wasn't like the civil rights movement,
- 32:28Speaker 4: but that's what came to mind anyway. Happy to see
- 32:31Speaker 4: what's going on with the Iranians. And Iranians are so
- 32:34Speaker 4: thankful for what is going on in Tehran and abroad
- 32:38Speaker 4: that they have been going to embassies throughout to let
- 32:42Speaker 4: their thoughts be known. This one in Toronto. Our buddy
- 32:45Speaker 4: Tony would like this one. They go to the embassy
- 32:48Speaker 4: in Toronto laying flowers in front of the embassy to
- 32:52Speaker 4: give thanks to the United States Army. This one's pretty
- 32:54Speaker 4: moving as well. Watch this.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 33:18Speaker 4: I gotta tell you, I'm always I'm a sucker for
- 33:20Speaker 4: moments like this, right, and I think that most people are.
- 33:23Speaker 4: And that's why propaganda works right on both sides. So
- 33:26Speaker 4: if this is propaganda, it's working like a charm. If
- 33:29Speaker 4: it's a genuine moment of the Iranian people showing an
- 33:32Speaker 4: expression of gratitude. Amen, Praise God, Helleljah. I'm glad to
- 33:35Speaker 4: see it as well. Either way, I think it's very effective.
- 33:37Speaker 4: It shows a tremendous amount of gratefulness, and I think
- 33:40Speaker 4: that's important, right, It's important, and the American people want
- 33:43Speaker 4: to see that, you know. I was listening to a
- 33:45Speaker 4: clip of a radio show Spanish radio station Grade Station
- 33:48Speaker 4: by the Way, ninety seven point nine La Mega ninety
- 33:51Speaker 4: seven point nine FM, New York City. It's all Spanish
- 33:54Speaker 4: and they typically do music, but in recent years, like
- 33:56Speaker 4: many radio stations, they have gone a little more political
- 34:00Speaker 4: too much, but you know, during their news segments and
- 34:02Speaker 4: when the topics are warranted, not like another station I
- 34:05Speaker 4: used to listen to Hot ninety seven that really lost
- 34:07Speaker 4: their way, and probably because I didn't agree with most
- 34:10Speaker 4: of what they said, but also because they never They
- 34:12Speaker 4: used to take my calls. They used to call and
- 34:13Speaker 4: you got to be kidding me, and I would argue
- 34:14Speaker 4: with those guys. But after a while they stopped taking
- 34:16Speaker 4: my calls. Their call screening was like, not this guy,
- 34:18Speaker 4: We're not putting him on anymore. So anyway, I think
- 34:20Speaker 4: a lot of people got tired of them, and they
- 34:22Speaker 4: switched their format, they sold the place. It's a history now.
- 34:25Speaker 4: The former show is still doing great on YouTube and whatnot.
- 34:28Speaker 4: Those guys are tremendously talented. Despite my disagreement with them, Rosenberg,
- 34:31Speaker 4: Laura and Nebro, they put on a good show entirely
- 34:34Speaker 4: when it's not political. I know that they feel the
- 34:36Speaker 4: need to get political, and that's their right, but when
- 34:40Speaker 4: it was less political, it was a lot more fun
- 34:42Speaker 4: of a show, at least for me, and I think
- 34:43Speaker 4: for a lot of people that listen to it as well.
- 34:45Speaker 4: But I digress. I really wanted to get into this show.
- 34:48Speaker 4: It's called Edbasilondada Manyana, But this was a news segment
- 34:52Speaker 4: with the reporter there, Nil Da Rosadio, And I'm not
- 34:55Speaker 4: going to play it for you because you may not
- 34:56Speaker 4: understand all of it, and I don't have a translated
- 34:58Speaker 4: version of it, but they're into viewing New York Congressman
- 35:02Speaker 4: Adriano Espayette Congressman Espayet. In the clip I heard, I
- 35:06Speaker 4: didn't hear the whole thing. I don't have a transcript,
- 35:08Speaker 4: so this is not a deep dive. But in the
- 35:10Speaker 4: clip I heard, he's in a back and forth with
- 35:12Speaker 4: one of the hosts there. The co host there named
- 35:15Speaker 4: ex Scarlett Molina, and she's saying, basically questioning why he's
- 35:19Speaker 4: lamenting the fact that the Ayatola was killed. He basically
- 35:23Speaker 4: doubles down and says, well, three American soldiers were killed,
- 35:26Speaker 4: and I think everybody's cognizant to that. Nobody wanted any
- 35:29Speaker 4: Americans to die. And he says that when there is
- 35:32Speaker 4: a death on either side, it's a clear sign that
- 35:35Speaker 4: democracy no, that that diplomacy has failed. And I thought
- 35:40Speaker 4: to myself, diplomacy failed when they bombed two hundred and
- 35:45Speaker 4: seventy four Marines in Beirut. Does anybody remember that. I
- 35:49Speaker 4: remember hearing about that as a kid for years and
- 35:51Speaker 4: years and years. So I let's just say, if for
- 35:53Speaker 4: that alone, President Trump held them accountable, I'd say that's
- 35:56Speaker 4: probably right. But there was so much more that was done.
- 35:59Speaker 4: When I was a kid, I only knew one airline.
- 36:01Speaker 4: You know why I'm gonna go with two. One was
- 36:05Speaker 4: TWA Why because it was always on the news, because
- 36:08Speaker 4: it was hijacked by the Iranians. And number two American Airlines.
- 36:12Speaker 4: Why because they had an amazing jingle, We're American Airlines
- 36:17Speaker 4: of the special in their Remember that I remember that anyway.
- 36:21Speaker 4: So this is the fame la fama at the end
- 36:24Speaker 4: of the Iranians, right, they don't have a good track record,
- 36:28Speaker 4: not at all. So Congressman s Payata is doubling down
- 36:32Speaker 4: on why this is. You know, it's just unfortunate that
- 36:35Speaker 4: we had to go to it. Of course, it's unfortunate.
- 36:37Speaker 4: More unfortunate is what they've done over these years. And
- 36:39Speaker 4: what is fortunate. Let's focus on that. Isn't it fortunate
- 36:42Speaker 4: that you've got these people in the streets enormously grateful,
- 36:46Speaker 4: enormously thankful. I mean, you can't make it all up.
- 36:50Speaker 4: You can't choreograph all of it. The Iranians in Hollywood,
- 36:54Speaker 4: the Iranians in Canada, the Iranians in Iran, the Iranians
- 36:57Speaker 4: in Kuwait, the Coranians and Bahrain, the Koreanians, everywhere you
- 37:00Speaker 4: have exiled Iranians. They're thrilled to pieces. So what gives
- 37:05Speaker 4: with the congressman. I'm gonna have to get partisan here
- 37:08Speaker 4: now and say what gives with the congressman is that
- 37:09Speaker 4: he's a Democrat. He says, you know, Dominicans, we got
- 37:12Speaker 4: free of a dictatorship. We didn't need help from the USA.
- 37:14Speaker 4: I would dispute that fact as well, but let's just
- 37:17Speaker 4: give him that. Let's just okay, I'll concede that point.
- 37:20Speaker 4: So because you were able to do it, does that
- 37:22Speaker 4: mean everybody's able to do it? Was Thrhiel trying to
- 37:25Speaker 4: develop nuclear bombs to point at the United States or
- 37:28Speaker 4: Israel or anybody else in this world? Was through Hel
- 37:31Speaker 4: starting his sessions of Parliament with death to America, death
- 37:35Speaker 4: to Israel. How he could make such a comparison blows
- 37:39Speaker 4: me away. I'm trying to be respectful. I put a
- 37:42Speaker 4: comment on there. I'm saying it was clownish, but it
- 37:44Speaker 4: really was clownish. And the reason I want to be
- 37:46Speaker 4: respectful is because I'd like to have him on this show.
- 37:48Speaker 4: I would love for the congressman to come in and
- 37:50Speaker 4: sit down with me and talk about this our studios
- 37:52Speaker 4: in Times Square. He's a congressman in New York. Hopefully
- 37:55Speaker 4: he can find his way here. I would love to
- 37:57Speaker 4: hear what he has to say. And I don't want
- 38:00Speaker 4: to beat them up. I really just I want to
- 38:01Speaker 4: have that conversation. I want to hear how you are
- 38:04Speaker 4: an American, right, a Dominican that I would suppose understands
- 38:11Speaker 4: the stakes here as a member of Congress, and to
- 38:14Speaker 4: make these comparisons and say that the Dominicans became free. Listen,
- 38:19Speaker 4: this is not just about dictatorship. What happened Operation Epic
- 38:23Speaker 4: Fury was not just about liberating Iran. There's a lot
- 38:27Speaker 4: of countries that could use liberating. This was totally about
- 38:30Speaker 4: the annihilation of the United States from a nuclear weapon
- 38:33Speaker 4: that was being developed and has been in the process
- 38:36Speaker 4: of being developed for a very long time. We went,
- 38:39Speaker 4: we blew up their facilities in fod H and they said, well,
- 38:42Speaker 4: come back, We'll make another. And listen, They're always going
- 38:45Speaker 4: to come back and make another. This is a game
- 38:47Speaker 4: of guacamole, right, Wackamole is the game here. I said
- 38:50Speaker 4: guackam oh, because I'm thinking guacamole in my head. I'm
- 38:53Speaker 4: such a goalito in real life anyway, I'm always thinking
- 38:55Speaker 4: about food. The bottom line here is the congressman, truly, truly,
- 38:59Speaker 4: in my opinion, fails. He fails the American people here,
- 39:02Speaker 4: he fails his constituents, and he fails to understand what's
- 39:06Speaker 4: happening here. Because anybody who can't see that this is
- 39:11Speaker 4: about keeping America safe and ensuring that they don't get
- 39:17Speaker 4: a nuclear weapon. I mean, Trump hasn't been clearer about
- 39:21Speaker 4: anything else. You heard Congressman Mark Harris talk about this
- 39:26Speaker 4: on this show on Thursday. You've heard General Blaine Holt
- 39:29Speaker 4: talk about it last Wednesday. All in the lead up
- 39:31Speaker 4: to this, right, because everybody knew this attack was imminent,
- 39:35Speaker 4: and if you put your finger on the pulse and
- 39:38Speaker 4: really measured the last couple of things and saw what
- 39:41Speaker 4: was going on, this is how Trump likes to do it.
- 39:45Speaker 4: They like to get in and out, Like I mentioned before.
- 39:48Speaker 4: And you know somebody who took exception to that. I
- 39:51Speaker 4: don't want to ever win the name here, but it
- 39:53Speaker 4: was one of the journalists at MS. Now. It might
- 39:56Speaker 4: have been Stephanie Ruhle, might have been Alex Wagner. I
- 39:59Speaker 4: get them confused.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Forg ME.
- 40:00Speaker 4: I'm sure somebody's gonna get offended by that. But one
- 40:03Speaker 4: of them did this report, and in this report basically
- 40:09Speaker 4: kind of alludes to the fact, along with the guests
- 40:10Speaker 4: they were interviewing, that somehow there was insider information, insider
- 40:18Speaker 4: information regarding when the strike would happen, because bets were
- 40:23Speaker 4: made seventy one minutes prior. Now, I gotta tell you again.
- 40:26Speaker 4: I know not everybody watches my show, but those that did,
- 40:29Speaker 4: they saw us talk about an attack being eminent on Wednesday.
- 40:33Speaker 4: On Thursday, right on Wednesday, we talked with General Holt.
- 40:36Speaker 4: On Thursday we talked with Or Thursday, we talked with
- 40:40Speaker 4: General Holt. Friday, we talked with the Congressman Harris. Everybody
- 40:44Speaker 4: agreed on We also spoke with Jennifer Kerns. Jennifer Kerns
- 40:47Speaker 4: waiting on this as well and said that she agrees
- 40:50Speaker 4: that attack was eminent. Wasn't the main topic of our conversation,
- 40:53Speaker 4: but it was part of it. So all that being said,
- 40:56Speaker 4: and again, we have the history of how President Trump
- 40:59Speaker 4: has taken military action. It's always been pretty much aerial.
- 41:04Speaker 4: It's very rarely on the ground, not very really. I
- 41:08Speaker 4: don't think we've done anything on the ground other than
- 41:09Speaker 4: the Maduro exercise. And thank god they were in and
- 41:11Speaker 4: out clean sweep. Thanks too. I'm gonna say our inside
- 41:15Speaker 4: man really a woman, Detisie Rodriguez. Right. Thank god for
- 41:19Speaker 4: the Chivato's chivating. If they don't, if the Chukdahs aren't
- 41:24Speaker 4: cho taing, we probably wouldn't have gotten that office as
- 41:27Speaker 4: well as we did. But all that being said, President
- 41:30Speaker 4: Trump thirty forty years ago was talking about how he
- 41:33Speaker 4: didn't want war. Thirty forty months ago has talked about
- 41:37Speaker 4: how he doesn't want war. He was president for four
- 41:40Speaker 4: years and governed that way. He is a pacifist. He
- 41:45Speaker 4: believes in peace, true strength, and he's willing to use
- 41:48Speaker 4: the strength in as much as necessary to get the
- 41:51Speaker 4: job done. He also believes in getting along with people
- 41:55Speaker 4: that may disagree with you. I mean, I've got to
- 41:58Speaker 4: tell you, if love you're in me or turned the
- 42:01Speaker 4: other cheek was an actual, uh political philosophy. I think
- 42:06Speaker 4: Trump would be embodying that right. They criticized them in
- 42:10Speaker 4: the mainstream media when they said, but you drew a
- 42:12Speaker 4: line in the sand. You drew a line in the sand.
- 42:14Speaker 4: You drew a line in the sand. And they crossed
- 42:15Speaker 4: at each and every time on Iran and other issues.
- 42:19Speaker 4: Every man has his point. Trump reached his point. He
- 42:23Speaker 4: did a good job. I think he's a very measured man.
- 42:25Speaker 4: He's definitely a lot slower to pull, you know, to
- 42:28Speaker 4: pull the trigger and push that button than I am.
- 42:30Speaker 4: I always tell you make sure you don't make me
- 42:32Speaker 4: your president. He talked about how this has costed these
- 42:37Speaker 4: exercises Operation Epic Fury. It was costing US hundreds of
- 42:42Speaker 4: millions of dollars. And I'm going back to Congressman's pay
- 42:44Speaker 4: that real quick again. How is that to say, well,
- 42:47Speaker 4: we don't want to we don't want to help the
- 42:48Speaker 4: people of Iran because it cost us hundreds of millions
- 42:50Speaker 4: of dollars. I think President Trump laid it out well
- 42:54Speaker 4: when he did, and he said, this is not going
- 42:56Speaker 4: to come without a loss of life. This is not
- 42:59Speaker 4: going to come is cost and it's a serious toll
- 43:01Speaker 4: that it takes on our country. But this is part
- 43:05Speaker 4: of the job. If you're that dude that's six foot
- 43:08Speaker 4: seven jacked three hundred pounds of muscle, forget a six pack,
- 43:12Speaker 4: you were born with a six pack, You got a
- 43:14Speaker 4: fourteen pack because you work so hard in the gym.
- 43:18Speaker 4: And you see a little girl, little old lady getting
- 43:20Speaker 4: the tar beat out of her, somebody stealing her pocketbook,
- 43:23Speaker 4: trying to rape her. And because you say, oh, look,
- 43:26Speaker 4: that's not my business, I'm not getting involved. You're big
- 43:29Speaker 4: for nothing. That's not how it works in real life.
- 43:33Speaker 4: You gotta do what you gotta do. When it's time
- 43:35Speaker 4: to do it all right, I want to come back
- 43:37Speaker 4: circling back now to Stephanie Rule or to Alex Wagner,
- 43:40Speaker 4: whichever one if it's neither, criticize me in the cummings,
- 43:43Speaker 4: but having this conversation saying that there was insider information.
- 43:48Speaker 4: Insider information why because people were taking bets, including on
- 43:55Speaker 4: calsh and Polymarket, one of which Donald Trump Junior is
- 43:58Speaker 4: affiliated with. And because of that, then for sure there
- 44:03Speaker 4: had to be inside info because these bets were coming
- 44:05Speaker 4: in and money was moving around seventy one minutes prior
- 44:11Speaker 4: to the strikes. And I would say that Friday going
- 44:15Speaker 4: into that Saturday. Anytime when Trump says you have ten
- 44:18Speaker 4: or fifteen days about ten or fifteen days ago, I mean,
- 44:22Speaker 4: he all but telegraphs it. He's not a Wednesday night guy.
- 44:26Speaker 4: He's not a Wednesday morning guy. He's pretty much a
- 44:28Speaker 4: Friday night guy. It seems that way from the track record,
- 44:33Speaker 4: at least with Iron. So anyway, I want you to
- 44:35Speaker 4: hear this clip and then you tell me what you think.
- 44:37Speaker 11: I want to talk about predictions and prediction markets, Okay,
- 44:40Speaker 11: I want to make sure I have it right. Just
- 44:43Speaker 11: before the missiles hit millions and millions of dollars worth
- 44:47Speaker 11: of bets surged on iron related prediction markets. Right, we're
- 44:51Speaker 11: talking Calshchi and poly Market, but at least one of
- 44:55Speaker 11: whom poly Market, Donald Trump Junior, is an advisor to
- 44:58Speaker 11: and he even has a some sort of roll, some
- 45:01Speaker 11: relationship with Calshi. It was Senator Reuben Diego who called
- 45:05Speaker 11: this out in a post and said, this is insider
- 45:08Speaker 11: trading in broad daylight. This should be illegal, no question.
- 45:11Speaker 11: Fricks like this are cashing in on our service members dying.
- 45:15Speaker 11: Disgusting and immoral.
- 45:18Speaker 2: I know, seventy one minutes before the war begins.
- 45:20Speaker 11: I know we don't know firsthand, of course, because these
- 45:23Speaker 11: these trades are anonymous, But could we be witnessing our
- 45:29Speaker 11: own government, or people adjacent to our government with information
- 45:33Speaker 11: on our government's inner workings, be cashing in on a war.
- 45:37Speaker 2: I don't see how you make a bet seventy one
- 45:39Speaker 2: minutes before missiles start flying without having some knowledge that
- 45:43Speaker 2: indeed this was coming. A total, according to Coindesk, of
- 45:46Speaker 2: five hundred and twenty nine million dollars has been bet
- 45:50Speaker 2: on the US around war thus far, and we're only
- 45:52Speaker 2: a day and a half into it. So listen, I mean, yeah,
- 45:55Speaker 2: you can go out and guess that this is going
- 45:57Speaker 2: to happen, you know, over the course of a particular period.
- 46:00Speaker 2: But the volume, the timing of the transactions, the amount
- 46:04Speaker 2: of money that's already been made, would suggest that someone
- 46:07Speaker 2: knew something before they laid those bets or traded those
- 46:11Speaker 2: contracts in advance of military action.
- 46:15Speaker 4: He goes into it, she goes into it. I like
- 46:17Speaker 4: to let you see what's going on, to see what
- 46:19Speaker 4: they say, because they're having a good time with this.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Notice how there wasn't much talk about the Iranian people
- 46:24Speaker 4: being liberated. People all around the globe are for the
- 46:27Speaker 4: most part talking about what happened here and the Iranians
- 46:31Speaker 4: being happy with the result of what happened. The fake
- 46:34Speaker 4: news media is going to be the fake news media, right.
- 46:37Speaker 4: You can't win them all. I realize that. And this
- 46:40Speaker 4: was a good example of how so many things to
- 46:43Speaker 4: talk about. They want to talk about this, and of
- 46:44Speaker 4: course their supporters are going to say they're doing their job.
- 46:50Speaker 4: They're the watchdog of the American people. They're here to
- 46:53Speaker 4: make sure there's no funny business going on. And if
- 46:56Speaker 4: it was Biden in the White House, you'd be doing
- 46:58Speaker 4: the same thing to him. Maybe there's some truth in that.
- 47:01Speaker 4: Maybe there is. If Biden liberated a people, which man
- 47:06Speaker 4: I would have loved to have seen that. Instead, I
- 47:08Speaker 4: felt like he enslaved the American people. Now stop it, Rich,
- 47:11Speaker 4: you're lying. Why am I lying? I'll tell you why
- 47:14Speaker 4: you're lying. Because he liberated every last illegal immigrant all
- 47:17Speaker 4: over the world and said, come to America, the door
- 47:20Speaker 4: is open. Then Kamala said, don't come. Remember that. Yeah, okay,
- 47:27Speaker 4: I'm not buying that one either. I think Tom Holman
- 47:29Speaker 4: and so many others are made it clear. If you're oppressed,
- 47:31Speaker 4: if you're going through a problem and you want to
- 47:33Speaker 4: seek asylum, you don't have to seek it in the
- 47:35Speaker 4: United States. You can leave Nicaragua and go to Guatemala
- 47:39Speaker 4: so that they don't kill you there. Right, if you're
- 47:41Speaker 4: under threat of being killed, the asylum claim doesn't work because, hey,
- 47:45Speaker 4: in my country, it sucks. In my country, we don't
- 47:48Speaker 4: have a good economic system. Or even further, in my country,
- 47:51Speaker 4: it sucks because of you and Reagan and cocaine in
- 47:54Speaker 4: the nineteen eighties and the Northern Triangle and everything that
- 47:57Speaker 4: you did. You evil American bastard's cap pigs. We hate
- 48:00Speaker 4: you and for that you deserve for us to be
- 48:03Speaker 4: in your country. That's not gonna fly either. I mean,
- 48:07Speaker 4: I've read these asylum laws. It's just not in there right.
- 48:10Speaker 4: Economic hardship is not one of the criteria. So again,
- 48:14Speaker 4: I think we're in the same place. This stuff is fake,
- 48:16Speaker 4: it's phony, and it's fraud at the outrage that they
- 48:18Speaker 4: have for the fake news media to try and zone
- 48:21Speaker 4: in on something that, as they would say, there's no
- 48:24Speaker 4: there there. This is what they do. But I will
- 48:27Speaker 4: give credit. Just like I gave credit to the Democrat
- 48:30Speaker 4: who came on this show, Senator Bob Torchelli, the Torch
- 48:32Speaker 4: shout out to him, Hudson County Democrat, and we got along.
- 48:37Speaker 4: I'm gonna give credit to fake Tapper and today I'm
- 48:43Speaker 4: gonna call him Jake Tapper. Why Because CNN's Jake Tapper
- 48:47Speaker 4: did an interview at President Trump today. It was about
- 48:50Speaker 4: a nine minute interview, and in the report that I saw,
- 48:54Speaker 4: he called it like it was. It was straight journalism.
- 48:57Speaker 4: I didn't hear too much of the jakeness that he
- 49:00Speaker 4: can always add, the fakeness that he can always add.
- 49:05Speaker 4: It wasn't there. It seemed like a pretty straight read.
- 49:08Speaker 4: Why because I believe he also understands.
- 49:11Speaker 12: I just got off the phone with President Trump. It
- 49:13Speaker 12: was a roughly nine minute phone interview talking about the
- 49:16Speaker 12: war in Iran.
- 49:18Speaker 4: Just want to give you the quotes he said.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Quote.
- 49:21Speaker 12: We're knocking the crap out of them. I think it's
- 49:23Speaker 12: going very well. It's very powerful. We've got the greatest
- 49:25Speaker 12: military in the world, and we're using it. I asked
- 49:28Speaker 12: the President how long he thought this war my last
- 49:31Speaker 12: He said, I don't want to see it go on
- 49:33Speaker 12: too long. I always thought it would be four weeks,
- 49:35Speaker 12: and we're a little ahead of schedule. I asked him
- 49:37Speaker 12: if the US was doing more to help the Iranian
- 49:40Speaker 12: people regain reclaimed their country than the military strikes, if
- 49:46Speaker 12: there was other stuff going on. He said, yes, we are, indeed,
- 49:49Speaker 12: but right now we want everyone staying inside. It's not
- 49:51Speaker 12: safe out there. He also suggested it was about to
- 49:53Speaker 12: get even less safe. We haven't even started hitting them hard.
- 49:56Speaker 12: The big wave hasn't even happened. The big one is
- 49:59Speaker 12: coming soon. I asked the President about the fact that
- 50:03Speaker 12: Iran attacked Arab countries in the region of Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait,
- 50:08Speaker 12: Cutter and the UAE. He said that That was the
- 50:11Speaker 12: biggest surprise so far for him and his team. Quote,
- 50:15Speaker 12: we were surprised, we told them, meaning the Arab countries,
- 50:17Speaker 12: we've got this, and now they want to fight, and
- 50:19Speaker 12: they're aggressively fighting. They were going to be very little involved,
- 50:23Speaker 12: and now they insist on being involved. He said, of
- 50:25Speaker 12: the Arab leaders of those countries, I know these people.
- 50:27Speaker 12: They're tough and smart. The Iranians, he said, quote shot
- 50:30Speaker 12: into a hotel, they shot into an apartment house. It
- 50:33Speaker 12: just made them, meaning the Arab leaders angry. They love us,
- 50:36Speaker 12: but they were watching. There was no reason for them
- 50:38Speaker 12: to be involved. That was probably the biggest surprise. You
- 50:42Speaker 12: have to understand. They were living under the dark cloud
- 50:44Speaker 12: for years, meaning the Iranian nuclear threat. That's why you
- 50:47Speaker 12: could never have peace. I asked, okay, well, who's going
- 50:50Speaker 12: to lead Iran now? The President said, we don't know
- 50:52Speaker 12: who the leadership is. We don't know who they'll pick.
- 50:54Speaker 12: Maybe they'll get lucky and get someone who knows what
- 50:56Speaker 12: they're doing. The Iranians, he said, lost a lot in
- 50:59Speaker 12: terms of leadership because on the initial strikes, not only
- 51:02Speaker 12: was Iatolajameni killed, but also forty nine other Iranian leaders.
- 51:06Speaker 12: He said, it was an amazing strike. They got a
- 51:09Speaker 12: little bit arrogant by meeting all in one place. They
- 51:12Speaker 12: thought they were undetectable. They weren't undetectable. We were shocked
- 51:15Speaker 12: by it. They don't even know who's leading them now.
- 51:17Speaker 12: We went down forty nine, he said, meeting forty nine
- 51:20Speaker 12: leaders on the leadership chart there. We don't know who's
- 51:23Speaker 12: leading the country now. They don't know who's leading. It's
- 51:25Speaker 12: a little like the unemployment line. The President said that
- 51:28Speaker 12: they tried to make a deal with the Iranians, but
- 51:30Speaker 12: we couldn't make a deal with these people. He said,
- 51:32Speaker 12: every offer was met with a walk back of a
- 51:34Speaker 12: previous offer. They had all that enriched stuff, he said,
- 51:37Speaker 12: referring to uranium. They looked at redoing it there. This
- 51:41Speaker 12: is after the strikes last June, but it was in
- 51:44Speaker 12: such bad shape the mountain had basically collapsed. The President said,
- 51:48Speaker 12: this is the way to deal with Iran. We don't
- 51:50Speaker 12: have to worry about agreements. He talked about all of
- 51:53Speaker 12: the years, decades of killing and IEDs, and all the
- 51:58Speaker 12: destruction that Iran has wreaked on the United States and
- 52:02Speaker 12: other countries. He said, people in the military walking around
- 52:05Speaker 12: with no legs, walking around with no arms.
- 52:07Speaker 4: Their faces shattered.
- 52:09Speaker 12: He said that today's military operation was of a piece,
- 52:12Speaker 12: part of a larger campaign. We took out Solomoni last time.
- 52:16Speaker 12: That's referring to the Iranian general Cassam Solmoney. He was
- 52:20Speaker 12: an unbelievably violent, vicious general. Hitting him, he said, was
- 52:24Speaker 12: a big move. If that didn't happen, then you might
- 52:26Speaker 12: not have Israel today. Israel might not exist then. He
- 52:29Speaker 12: referred to Midnight Hammer to strike against the Iranian nuclear
- 52:32Speaker 12: facilities last June. They were a month away from having
- 52:35Speaker 12: a nuclear weapon. He criticized Obama's nuclear deal with Iran.
- 52:39Speaker 12: He said it gave all the power to Iran. They
- 52:40Speaker 12: would have had a nuclear weapon three or four years ago.
- 52:42Speaker 12: They would have used it against Israel. They maybe would
- 52:44Speaker 12: have used it against us. In the latest talks, He said,
- 52:47Speaker 12: the Iranians, quote, weren't willing to give us what we
- 52:50Speaker 12: asked for. They should have done it. So it's going good.
- 52:53Speaker 12: The President said before getting off the phone.
- 52:55Speaker 4: Malogasea, I right, as bad as you say, Trump is.
- 52:59Speaker 4: This was a good thing. This was an amazing action.
- 53:02Speaker 4: Trump is changing the way of the world, just like
- 53:05Speaker 4: the Shah's Sun said the Crown Prince raised Upavlabi. He
- 53:08Speaker 4: is defining history right now, and he's been doing that
- 53:12Speaker 4: in so many ways. And people can't stomach that because
- 53:15Speaker 4: they don't like Trump. He's a convicted felon thirty four counts,
- 53:20Speaker 4: He's a found guilty of sexual abuse. He's this and that,
- 53:24Speaker 4: he's on Fstein Island.
- 53:25Speaker 3: Right.
- 53:25Speaker 4: All the things that they want to say are true
- 53:27Speaker 4: that aren't. But all that being said, Trump liberated the
- 53:29Speaker 4: Iranian people, free Iran. Trump freed Tehran. Trump is, in
- 53:34Speaker 4: my opinion, very soon gonna free Cuba. Trump freed so
- 53:39Speaker 4: many people, not just from these countries, not just what's
- 53:44Speaker 4: happening in the Middle East. This movement of the Bahraini's
- 53:48Speaker 4: kuwaitis those from all the Amoradis together. All these people
- 53:53Speaker 4: are getting together saying they want to join the fight
- 53:56Speaker 4: against Iran. You tell me orange Man, bad ghost in
- 54:00Speaker 4: Middle East. It makes a coalition of Muslim countries against Iran,
- 54:05Speaker 4: the cancer that it's been for the last fifty years,
- 54:08Speaker 4: half a century, forty seven. How could you not right
- 54:12Speaker 4: not to mention the eight conflicts he ended. Nobody wants
- 54:14Speaker 4: to give him credit for those those were too small
- 54:17Speaker 4: because and again you end eight conflicts. Guess what happens.
- 54:22Speaker 4: What'd you do about Ukraine? What about the price of beef? Right?
- 54:26Speaker 4: Because when you are a malcontent fixated on hate, you're
- 54:30Speaker 4: always gonna be a malcontent that's fixated on hate. That's it.
- 54:35Speaker 4: You're a miserable You are a miserable human being. I
- 54:42Speaker 4: can't fix that. I can just call it out and say,
- 54:44Speaker 4: enjoy your misery, my friend. Because the Clarity Act is
- 54:48Speaker 4: right there on the frontier, just right around there. It's
- 54:50Speaker 4: going to make it sway through Congress. If the memes
- 54:53Speaker 4: are successful. The Save Act is going to make it
- 54:56Speaker 4: sway through Congress, hopefully to the President's desk and hopeful
- 55:00Speaker 4: to a signature. And they will stop Trump from stealing
- 55:03Speaker 4: elections by requiring voter ID and saying day results on
- 55:07Speaker 4: elections and paper ballots to prove how people voted. And
- 55:12Speaker 4: the Clarity Act, well, that's just gonna solidify what the
- 55:18Speaker 4: Genius Act started. And that means Crypto is gonna come
- 55:22Speaker 4: into the fold. It's gonna be a new era, a
- 55:25Speaker 4: new gold rush in America. Right that will look greatly
- 55:28Speaker 4: in my opinion, it's gonna affect the price of gold
- 55:31Speaker 4: big time. It's gonna affect the price of silver big time.
- 55:35Speaker 4: It's gonna affect the price of bitcoin big time, as
- 55:40Speaker 4: well as XRP and some other crypto. And that's really
- 55:43Speaker 4: gonna put America in a place where those of us
- 55:48Speaker 4: in the working class, those of us who take two
- 55:52Speaker 4: nickels and save them on the side to buy their
- 55:55Speaker 4: little bit of XRP, to buy their fractions of bitcoin,
- 55:58Speaker 4: to do what they can to make it in the
- 55:59Speaker 4: crypto or who are working to buy a one family,
- 56:02Speaker 4: two family, three family home, to have some investment properties
- 56:05Speaker 4: and have some rental income. Whatever your hustle is, jewelry, business, production, business,
- 56:11Speaker 4: you name it, whatever you do. This is where I
- 56:16Speaker 4: believe America will have an opportunity to sink or swim. Right.
- 56:20Speaker 4: And I don't mean America is going to sink. I
- 56:21Speaker 4: mean bad ideas will sink. The good ideas are going
- 56:24Speaker 4: to swim. It's that nineteen forty nine or eighteen forty
- 56:29Speaker 4: nine California gold Rush all over again. The digital revolution,
- 56:34Speaker 4: the crypto revolution. I see it coming. I think it's
- 56:36Speaker 4: not tomorrow. I think it starts soon right after Cuba,
- 56:41Speaker 4: right after Cuba becomes liberated. I think we make our
- 56:44Speaker 4: way through the spring into the summer to celebrate our
- 56:47Speaker 4: two hundred and fiftieth anniversary America. And then right after
- 56:51Speaker 4: we have our America two fifty on July fourth, we
- 56:54Speaker 4: start to see more the economic engine starts churning out more,
- 56:58Speaker 4: and that'll start to just like it did in twenty eighteen,
- 57:01Speaker 4: twenty nineteen, as you might remember, it really started kicking
- 57:05Speaker 4: in and all of a suddenhuah wah, was like, hey,
- 57:07Speaker 4: we'll pay more, Hey, we'll do this. Everybody was paying more.
- 57:11Speaker 4: People now some will push back rich DU's because of
- 57:13Speaker 4: the pandemic. No, the pandemic came later. The pandemic came
- 57:16Speaker 4: later in twenty twenty. Right there, there was an economic
- 57:20Speaker 4: boom that happened, and coupled with making sure that interest
- 57:25Speaker 4: rates were low, money was cheap, risk was high, lots
- 57:28Speaker 4: of entrepreneurship out there. When risk is high. Right when
- 57:31Speaker 4: you say, oh, you know what, I'm going to get
- 57:32Speaker 4: a credit card, I'm going to b artist money. I'm
- 57:33Speaker 4: going to take the money i've got. I know I
- 57:35Speaker 4: can make it back. Let's go, let's go, Let's roll
- 57:38Speaker 4: the dice and see what happens. And people did, and
- 57:41Speaker 4: people made a lot of money. And you saw more
- 57:43Speaker 4: Hispanics in America, or Blacks and Asians than ever buy
- 57:47Speaker 4: a home in this country than you'd ever seen before.
- 57:50Speaker 4: You saw the median household income go up I think
- 57:53Speaker 4: by sixty five hundred bucks at that time. That's music
- 57:56Speaker 4: to my ears. That's the way the American economy should flourish.
- 58:00Speaker 4: And it's currently on its way to flourish like that,
- 58:04Speaker 4: but for a few factors that we still have to overcome.
- 58:06Speaker 4: So those are my parting words for you. Make sure
- 58:10Speaker 4: you stand for something, because if you stand for nothing,
- 58:12Speaker 4: you'll fall for anything. And the only thing necessary for
- 58:16Speaker 4: evil to triumph is for good people like you to
- 58:19Speaker 4: do nothing. So don't do nothing, do something. I start approxima,
- 58:24Speaker 4: Take care, good night, and God bless you America. I'm
