- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news. Now you'll find out what
- 0:03Speaker 1: it all means. It's Mark Simone on.
- 0:08Speaker 2: 710WOR.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Hey, it's almost Friday. Well, Thursday. That's close. That's very close.
- 0:16Speaker 3: A lot to get to today. We'll get to Vivek Ramaswamy. Oh,
- 0:20Speaker 3: is there a lot of controversy in Ohio? We'll get
- 0:23Speaker 3: to Mamdani, the real story of Mamdani. We'll get to...
- 0:28Speaker 3: The race for governor, there's a poll out. Ooh, this
- 0:31Speaker 3: Quinnipiac poll. It shows Hochul in the lead. Don't believe
- 0:34Speaker 3: this poll for one second. We'll show you how messed
- 0:38Speaker 3: up this poll is, how bad the metrics are in it.
- 0:42Speaker 3: We'll get to, oh, we'll get to that crazy little
- 0:45Speaker 3: Brad Lander. We'll get to Omar, Elon Omar, who looks
- 0:52Speaker 3: like she's choking up over her. He's definitely in a
- 0:56Speaker 3: lot of trouble. Hey, let's get to this Vivek Ramaswamy controversy.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Vivek Ramaswamy, you remember him. Well, he's running for governor
- 1:06Speaker 3: of Ohio against a woman named Amy Acton. And, you know,
- 1:10Speaker 3: they do all these political ads back and forth. So
- 1:14Speaker 3: apparently Amy Acton is a very troubled, weird, and the
- 1:18Speaker 3: whole family thing. I don't know. It's very strange. So
- 1:21Speaker 3: the mother agrees to record an ad denouncing her daughter,
- 1:29Speaker 3: telling people don't vote for her. She's a liar.
- 1:32Speaker 1: To be clear, this is.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Wait, let me find, here it is. I received a... Nope,
- 1:35Speaker 3: that's not it. This is it. Listen, this is the mother.
- 1:39Speaker 3: They got the mother to record this ad denouncing the
- 1:42Speaker 3: Democrat candidate.
- 1:43Speaker 4: I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying
- 1:46Speaker 4: about her opponent, it's not easy for a mother to
- 1:49Speaker 4: say this, but Amy has a serious problem. She is
- 1:54Speaker 4: a liar. She lies about her past. She says she
- 1:58Speaker 4: grew up living in a tent. None of that is true.
- 2:02Speaker 4: She's lied her entire life. My daughter needs help, and
- 2:07Speaker 4: she can't help you if she needs help herself. People
- 2:11Speaker 4: can change, but first they have to tell the truth,
- 2:15Speaker 4: and my daughter still isn't doing that. Don't vote for
- 2:18Speaker 4: people who lie. Don't let her become your governor. If
- 2:23Speaker 4: you think she'll make your life better, you're fooling yourself.
- 2:27Speaker 4: It will only get worse.
- 2:30Speaker 5: All right.
- 2:30Speaker 3: There's controversy all over Ohio. Outrage from the Democrats. Outrage
- 2:36Speaker 3: from the media. This, using the family. You don't bring
- 2:40Speaker 3: somebody's family into this. This crosses a line. Except if
- 2:48Speaker 3: you're a Democrat. Sorry. The Democrats invented this. Do you
- 2:53Speaker 3: remember five minutes ago when RFK Jr. was trying to
- 2:56Speaker 3: run for president? And then they got his whole family,
- 3:00Speaker 3: they got the entire Kennedy family to record ads denouncing him.
- 3:04Speaker 3: You remember they had Caroline Kennedy do an ad saying
- 3:07Speaker 3: the guy's a nut, he's crazy, he's a lunatic, he's
- 3:10Speaker 3: a liar, don't vote for him. They got everybody in
- 3:13Speaker 3: the Kennedy family to do one of these ads. But
- 3:17Speaker 3: that's the double standard Democrats are famous for. If you're
- 3:20Speaker 3: a Democrat, that's fine. It's fine. If you're a fake Ramaswamy, outrage,
- 3:25Speaker 3: absolute outrage. But again, this has been done many times before.
- 3:30Speaker 3: And just two seconds ago, Democrats did it with the
- 3:33Speaker 3: Kennedy family, denouncing RFK Jr. Even when it was talking
- 3:36Speaker 3: to him becoming Secretary of Health, they got the family
- 3:40Speaker 3: to record ads, denouncing him again. It's done all the
- 3:43Speaker 3: time by Democrats. Here's Ramaswamy.
- 3:46Speaker 6: I would love for this race and this election to
- 3:51Speaker 6: be about the substantive issues that impact Ohioans. And unfortunately,
- 3:56Speaker 6: Amy Acton has been hiding from those issues.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Yeah, listen, I mean, it's a crazy ad to do,
- 4:03Speaker 3: but it's a Democrat tactic. He stole it from them.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I mean, if there's outrage, it should be plagiarism. You
- 4:10Speaker 3: just stole the tactic the Democrats used.
- 4:12Speaker 7: To be clear, this is not new. Her mother has
- 4:15Speaker 7: spoken out for years. And I don't know Amy Acton's mother,
- 4:18Speaker 7: and I've never met Amy Acton either. What I do
- 4:21Speaker 7: know is that Amy Acton has been repeatedly and serially
- 4:25Speaker 7: dishonest during this campaign.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Do you see this as a petty move of it?
- 4:30Speaker 8: Excuse me?
- 4:30Speaker 3: Do you see it as a petty move?
- 4:32Speaker 1: On behalf of her mother.
- 4:32Speaker 3: To speak out?
- 4:33Speaker 7: Her mother chose to speak out. She spoke out several
- 4:35Speaker 7: years ago. That's between Amy Acton and her mother.
- 4:38Speaker 1: On behalf of the ad being put out.
- 4:40Speaker 7: For our part, we believe that the best way to
- 4:42Speaker 7: do this would be to have an open debate between
- 4:44Speaker 7: the two candidates.
- 4:46Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Now, when he says he never met the opponent, never
- 4:48Speaker 3: met her. How did that happen? Because she refuses to
- 4:51Speaker 3: debate him. She refuses to debate. So it's like Hochul
- 4:56Speaker 3: refusing to debate Blakeman. She agreed to one debate. Normally
- 5:00Speaker 3: you do two or three. She turned down all the
- 5:02Speaker 3: real debates. Channel two, channel four, channel seven. She only
- 5:05Speaker 3: agreed to one on this little thing that nobody sees
- 5:08Speaker 3: called New York One, also because it's a very, very,
- 5:12Speaker 3: very biased left-wing thing. And the moderators will protect her,
- 5:16Speaker 3: which they did during the debate. Anytime Blakeman got going, oh,
- 5:19Speaker 3: we have to move on. We have to move on.
- 5:21Speaker 3: They cut him right off. He's speaking to which it's
- 5:24Speaker 3: all over the place, this poll. Remember, I keep telling you,
- 5:26Speaker 3: warning you about these fake public polls, these fake college polls,
- 5:30Speaker 3: fake media polls. Don't pay any attention to them. The
- 5:34Speaker 3: metrics are rigged. They deliberately undersample Republicans like crazy. They
- 5:40Speaker 3: don't use likely voters, which you're supposed to use. They
- 5:43Speaker 3: use whoever the hell they want. They don't use the
- 5:45Speaker 3: right demos. So this goes on all the time. Only, only,
- 5:50Speaker 3: only rely on the real, what they call the internal polls,
- 5:54Speaker 3: the ones the candidates use. Much more accurate, much more expensive.
- 5:59Speaker 3: That's why the media doesn't have them. So this new
- 6:02Speaker 3: poll is everybody's talking about this Quinnipiac poll. Quinnipiac. I'm
- 6:07Speaker 3: looking at the metrics in this poll. They stink. They're ridiculous.
- 6:11Speaker 3: It shows Blakeman behind 14 points. Don't believe that for
- 6:16Speaker 3: a second. We had the greatest pollster go through the metrics,
- 6:20Speaker 3: look at them. The metrics in this Quinnipiac poll are
- 6:24Speaker 3: ridiculously stupid. The Republicans were only 22% of the sample.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Only 20, so 80% of the sample is Democrats. It's
- 6:34Speaker 3: basically a poll sampling Democrats. They didn't carefully select anybody.
- 6:40Speaker 3: It was randomly dialed numbers. They didn't use a voter list.
- 6:45Speaker 3: They cite votes by demographic groups, but there's no disclosure
- 6:49Speaker 3: of the demographics for the total poll. They don't, you're
- 6:53Speaker 3: supposed to do all this, but they don't do it
- 6:54Speaker 3: in this poll. They don't tell you what race, what age,
- 6:57Speaker 3: what education, what religion they use. And again, it's a
- 7:00Speaker 3: poll of Democrats. Republicans were only 22% of the sample.
- 7:07Speaker 3: But no matter how many times you tell people this,
- 7:09Speaker 3: they'll run around quoting these polls. Well, they saw it
- 7:12Speaker 3: on the news. They saw it in a newspaper. Well,
- 7:16Speaker 3: it was on Politico. They'll quote it. You could show
- 7:19Speaker 3: them that here's the demographic. Here's the methodology. It stinks.
- 7:25Speaker 3: It's rigged. It's stupid. It's off. They'll still quote these
- 7:28Speaker 3: polls the next day. So disregarded. Blakeman is neck and
- 7:33Speaker 3: neck with Hochul. Anything could happen now. It's been a while,
- 7:38Speaker 3: a long time since the Republican won. Pataki, the last
- 7:40Speaker 3: Republican governor. But it looks pretty good for Blakeman right now.
- 7:44Speaker 3: You got to get out and vote. That's the whole
- 7:45Speaker 3: key to this. It's all about turnout. If Republicans turn out,
- 7:49Speaker 3: they'll win. You can start early voting in New York
- 7:52Speaker 3: on Saturday. Connecticut, they already got it. But New York State,
- 7:55Speaker 3: governor's race, early voting starts Saturday. So do it this weekend.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Go out and vote. this weekend. So, uh, uh, Elon Omar,
- 8:05Speaker 3: she's in real trouble. Elon Omar is not going to
- 8:08Speaker 3: survive this. She is, uh, going to be deported or more. Well,
- 8:13Speaker 3: listen to president Trump.
- 8:14Speaker 5: You know, they keep talking about deportation. Now she could
- 8:16Speaker 5: go to jail. Uh, this is just my opinion. I
- 8:19Speaker 5: think she's a sick, a very dishonest person, but, uh,
- 8:25Speaker 5: who hates our country.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Yeah. So, uh, uh, If you want to cover yourself legally,
- 8:31Speaker 3: you always say opinion. You can't just say it like
- 8:34Speaker 3: he could. He's actually thinking she's a dishonest, crooked person.
- 8:37Speaker 3: But publicly, you say, in my opinion, she's a great
- 8:40Speaker 3: that lawsuit wise that helps protect you. She's done a
- 8:44Speaker 3: video begging for money because she knows she's going to
- 8:48Speaker 3: have to spend a fortune on attorneys to fight this.
- 8:52Speaker 3: So she's looking for money. The other thing you do
- 8:55Speaker 3: if you're a politician, anytime there's scandal or anytime there's
- 8:58Speaker 3: an indictment, anytime you're accused of a crime. You always,
- 9:01Speaker 3: always use it to fundraise. Here's her video.
- 9:03Speaker 8: Everyone who sent $ 5, $ 10, $ 20, that goes a long
- 9:05Speaker 8: way as we fight Trump and His administration for trying
- 9:15Speaker 8: to intimidate me and so many people right before the
- 9:20Speaker 8: midterm elections. We know that they're running scared. We're not
- 9:24Speaker 8: going to be intimidated. Please continue to support us. We
- 9:27Speaker 8: appreciate whether you're able to send 5, 10, 20.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Aha!
- 9:32Speaker 3: Look at that. She's firm. She's defiant. Well, they had
- 9:36Speaker 3: some body language experts go over the video and look
- 9:39Speaker 3: at it. They all said the same thing. She demonstrated
- 9:42Speaker 3: deception at all times. Body language experts say it was
- 9:47Speaker 3: a nervous smile. Her eyes are not smiling, so it's
- 9:50Speaker 3: not genuine. The lips curve downward. The raising of her
- 9:55Speaker 3: eyebrows reflect that she's questioning her own words. Body experts.
- 10:00Speaker 3: declare she's scared and she's lying. So just bear that
- 10:05Speaker 3: in mind as you watch that video. Oh, she did
- 10:08Speaker 3: grant one interview. This is like Kathy Hochul. I'll only
- 10:11Speaker 3: give one debate and it has to be on the
- 10:13Speaker 3: most left-wing biased channel of all. She only gave one interview.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Same thing. It's only going to be on the most
- 10:18Speaker 3: left-wing biased biased it's it's on msnbc uh ilan omar
- 10:23Speaker 3: being interviewed.
- 10:24Speaker 6: Who was this man that was your husband when did
- 10:26Speaker 6: they start saying that he was your brother why i.
- 10:31Speaker 10: Started with the somali blog um uh that i don't
- 10:35Speaker 10: know if it still exists but somebody put in there
- 10:37Speaker 10: that you know that he had to have been my
- 10:40Speaker 10: brother or something to that effect.
- 10:42Speaker 6: You were not related to him at all Not to.
- 10:48Speaker 10: My knowledge.
- 10:51Speaker 3: That's a suspicious answer. You're not related to your husband
- 10:55Speaker 3: in any way. You say, no, of course not. No,
- 10:59Speaker 3: of course not. She said, not to my knowledge. That's
- 11:03Speaker 3: a kind of a weird answer. As the great Jimmy
- 11:06Speaker 3: Fallon said, a lot of people meet their husband online,
- 11:10Speaker 3: but she used Ancestry.com, so uh not to my knowledge
- 11:15Speaker 3: so then in the rest of the interview she goes
- 11:18Speaker 3: on to say how she's just a working class person
- 11:20Speaker 3: she lives paycheck to paycheck uh now the problem is
- 11:25Speaker 3: on the financial disclosure form where you have to put
- 11:28Speaker 3: your net worth this is under oath you can't lie
- 11:30Speaker 3: uh she put down that she and her husband were
- 11:32Speaker 3: worth 30 million bucks uh she's revised that now to
- 11:37Speaker 3: say they're worth uh like ten thousand dollars they they're
- 11:40Speaker 3: completely changing their story if they were worth 30 million,
- 11:44Speaker 3: and the government will find this. I don't care where
- 11:46Speaker 3: you hide it. The government will find your money. It
- 11:50Speaker 3: might be that she, who knows, maybe it came from
- 11:52Speaker 3: some kind of fraud, some holly fraud. They claim they
- 11:54Speaker 3: had a winery, a vineyard. Nobody ever saw any wine
- 11:58Speaker 3: from there. But she's trying to claim poverty now. She says,
- 12:03Speaker 3: I have a Toyota Camry that's from 2016. It's our
- 12:06Speaker 3: only car. I rent my DC place and my Minneapolis place. Yeah,
- 12:12Speaker 3: I don't know. Very, very, very suspicious interview. So look
- 12:17Speaker 3: for her to get at least deported, maybe in jail,
- 12:20Speaker 3: definitely removed from Congress. It should happen. Hey, the good
- 12:25Speaker 3: news about Mamdani, President Trump met with him the first
- 12:29Speaker 3: time in the White House. He had a long meeting
- 12:31Speaker 3: with him. And the president, President Trump, I've seen this
- 12:34Speaker 3: for many years. He's really good at reading people. I mean,
- 12:37Speaker 3: he can look at somebody and just see everything, like
- 12:40Speaker 3: almost instantly. It's one of the secrets of him negotiating.
- 12:46Speaker 3: And people have negotiated with him. I've told me that.
- 12:48Speaker 3: There's a video on YouTube. You can see it. It's
- 12:50Speaker 3: Barbara Corcoran who worked with him on huge real estate deals.
- 12:54Speaker 3: She said it was amazing. They could go into a room,
- 12:56Speaker 3: total stranger. He could look at the guy and see
- 12:59Speaker 3: immediately what his weaknesses were, what his ego was, what
- 13:04Speaker 3: he really wanted. what would motivate. He could just see everything.
- 13:08Speaker 3: It's like radar, sonar. He can really read a person.
- 13:12Speaker 3: So the one thing, after he met with Mom Donnie
- 13:14Speaker 3: and it was a friendly, he came out. The one
- 13:15Speaker 3: thing he said privately to everybody, he said, this guy's
- 13:19Speaker 3: a coward. He's not brave. He's lazy. He doesn't work
- 13:24Speaker 3: too hard. You probably don't have to worry too much.
- 13:26Speaker 3: For all his awful ideas and terrible things, he's not
- 13:30Speaker 3: a guy who gets anything done. He's not a guy
- 13:32Speaker 3: who works on anything, takes any... He said this... Way
- 13:36Speaker 3: back when, like nine months ago. Well, Mamdani has been
- 13:42Speaker 3: the mayor for 10 months. It looks like Trump was
- 13:44Speaker 3: right because people are now looking at this 10 months
- 13:46Speaker 3: in city hall and he's done absolutely nothing. You know,
- 13:50Speaker 3: he's only signed one law in 10 months. That's unheard of.
- 13:55Speaker 3: One law in 10 months. He's gotten absolutely nothing done. Oh,
- 13:59Speaker 3: he sure talks a lot and posts a lot of videos,
- 14:02Speaker 3: but he never actually takes any steps to actually do anything.
- 14:06Speaker 3: And people are studying the situation there in city hall
- 14:10Speaker 3: saying that one of the reasons he gets nothing done, he,
- 14:13Speaker 3: the staff, they're obsessed with only one thing and that's
- 14:16Speaker 3: becoming a content farm content. In other words, producing Tik
- 14:20Speaker 3: TOK videos, Instagram videos. That's the only thing they do
- 14:23Speaker 3: all day. That's what they do. Remember, this is a kid.
- 14:26Speaker 3: He's never had a job, never worked ever, never had
- 14:29Speaker 3: a job anywhere doing anything. So he, you know, doesn't
- 14:33Speaker 3: know how to work, doesn't know how to be in
- 14:34Speaker 3: an office, doesn't know how to, do anything nine to five.
- 14:37Speaker 3: So that's all he knows how to do. Like a
- 14:42Speaker 3: lot of these out of work kids that live in
- 14:43Speaker 3: their parents' basement, that's all he knows how to do. Content, videos, TikTok, Instagram.
- 14:48Speaker 3: So that's all he's done in office, which is fine.
- 14:51Speaker 3: That's great. If he wants to spend the rest of
- 14:54Speaker 3: the three years just creating content and doing TikTok, Instagram,
- 14:58Speaker 3: do it, go ahead, do it and make your crazy
- 15:00Speaker 3: speeches and don't bother anybody. So when I say he
- 15:03Speaker 3: only signed one Law. One bill. He only did one
- 15:07Speaker 3: thing in the 10 months. And that was a little thing.
- 15:10Speaker 3: It was a bill allowing year-round outdoor dining. And that's
- 15:16Speaker 3: probably because everybody on the staff wanted to have outdoor dining.
- 15:21Speaker 3: They wanted to eat outside. So that's the only thing
- 15:23Speaker 3: he's gotten done in 10 months. That's it. We'll get
- 15:28Speaker 3: back to Mamdani. We'll get to him and the other
- 15:31Speaker 3: crazy anti-Semite, Brad Lander. And all of that. And we'll
- 15:35Speaker 3: get to the NFL is supposed to play a game
- 15:37Speaker 3: in France in the middle of all that rioting. We'll
- 15:40Speaker 3: get to that coming up and a whole lot more.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Mark Simone here. Now three hours every day. Three hours
- 15:45Speaker 3: every day. Nine to noon on 710WOR. Live from the
- 15:50Speaker 3: WOR LifeVac studios, Mark Simone. Omar, as we said, Ilhan
- 16:01Speaker 3: Omar in real trouble. Looks like Barack Obama is trying
- 16:04Speaker 3: to rescue her. Barack Obama is like the rescue squad,
- 16:10Speaker 3: like Harvey Keitel in that movie, you know, the guy
- 16:12Speaker 3: that shows up to clean up your mess and try to.
- 16:14Speaker 3: So Obama in Michigan trying to save Al-Sayed. The problem
- 16:21Speaker 3: Al-Sayed has, obviously, Jewish voters who normally would be Democratic
- 16:26Speaker 3: aren't going to vote for him. He's a. vicious, ridiculous,
- 16:29Speaker 3: nutjob anti-Semite. In Michigan, black voters are a huge, huge,
- 16:40Speaker 3: powerful vote there. It's very crucial to winning. They're in
- 16:43Speaker 3: great numbers. They're in the leadership in the democratic world.
- 16:47Speaker 3: And they're a powerful voting bloc in Michigan, lots of
- 16:50Speaker 3: parts of Michigan. And they're not crazy about Al-Sayed and
- 16:55Speaker 3: they're not crazy about his like Muslim movement in the
- 16:59Speaker 3: democratic world of Michigan. And the Muslims taken over the party.
- 17:02Speaker 3: So they are not Al-Sayed supporters. That's why Obama is
- 17:09Speaker 3: going over and over again to Michigan. He's trying to
- 17:11Speaker 3: win them back over to the Al-Sayed side. It's not
- 17:15Speaker 3: going to work, though. Not going to be good. Hey,
- 17:18Speaker 3: the horse carriage vote is later today. It'll happen after
- 17:21Speaker 3: one o'clock. They want to ban the carriages from Central Park.
- 17:27Speaker 3: I don't know what's going to save the horses and
- 17:31Speaker 3: the carriages and their owners. Now, they're acting like this
- 17:35Speaker 3: is going to be a vote. They'll have a hearing
- 17:37Speaker 3: and then they'll vote and see what the outcome. Well,
- 17:41Speaker 3: it's Julie Manning and the city council. They don't even
- 17:43Speaker 3: schedule the vote until they know they're going to win it.
- 17:45Speaker 3: So assume they will ban the horses and carriages. Now
- 17:49Speaker 3: there's all kinds of arguments against it. Uh, there's a
- 17:54Speaker 3: number of people on the horse and carriage side, you know,
- 17:56Speaker 3: they're yelling and screaming, this is unconstitutional. You can't take
- 18:00Speaker 3: away private property. The government can't, well, nobody's taking away anything.
- 18:04Speaker 3: That's the problem. You can certainly keep your horse and carriage,
- 18:07Speaker 3: do whatever you want with it. You just can't drive
- 18:09Speaker 3: it around New York city. So they can certainly ban
- 18:12Speaker 3: something from New York city. Uh, Now, what happens to
- 18:16Speaker 3: the horses and carriages? Well, if you can find another
- 18:19Speaker 3: place somewhere that wants horses and carriages, you can work there. Otherwise,
- 18:23Speaker 3: I guess they'll send the horses to farms or something
- 18:28Speaker 3: or sanctuaries, and these guys will find something else to
- 18:32Speaker 3: do for a living. Now, the way this bill will work,
- 18:34Speaker 3: they aren't banned until, I think, 2028, so they'll have
- 18:37Speaker 3: a year and a half to find something else to do.
- 18:41Speaker 3: The real argument is it's a romantic, nice... traditional part
- 18:46Speaker 3: of Central Park, the horses and the carriages. Do we
- 18:49Speaker 3: really want to get rid of them? I don't know.
- 18:54Speaker 3: We got them off the streets. When they were able
- 18:56Speaker 3: to come out of the park and clog up our streets,
- 18:59Speaker 3: that was horrible. The real argument, though, is they're saying
- 19:05Speaker 3: it's a safety issue. You know, you had that thing
- 19:07Speaker 3: where the horse went crazy and killed somebody. Well, if
- 19:10Speaker 3: it's a safety issue, here's the key to all this.
- 19:14Speaker 3: In 100 years, 100 years, there's only been one death
- 19:19Speaker 3: caused by horses and carriages. In the last seven years,
- 19:24Speaker 3: there have been 133 deaths caused by e-bikes. So that's
- 19:28Speaker 3: like 133 more deaths than the horses. So again, one
- 19:30Speaker 3: death in 100 years from horses, 133 deaths in seven
- 19:33Speaker 3: years from the e-bikes. So if it's a safety issue,
- 19:42Speaker 3: you've got to ban the e-bikes, certainly from Central Park.
- 19:46Speaker 3: So why the horses and carriages? Well, it's elitist. virtue signaling. E-bikes,
- 19:53Speaker 3: they don't want to ban the e-bikes because they want
- 19:56Speaker 3: them all over the streets because they don't want you
- 19:58Speaker 3: in a car. Democrats hate cars. They hate gasoline. They
- 20:02Speaker 3: hate fossil fuels. They want the streets to become bicycles
- 20:05Speaker 3: and e-bikes and that's it. But the e-bikes are much
- 20:08Speaker 3: more dangerous than than cars now uh there's some people
- 20:12Speaker 3: who want the horses all gone because the stables that
- 20:14Speaker 3: they keep them in on the upper west side are
- 20:17Speaker 3: valuable real estate and there's a lot of big real
- 20:20Speaker 3: estate guys that want those blocks some of those stables
- 20:23Speaker 3: take up entire blocks they want those blocks to build
- 20:26Speaker 3: condos on so that's the other reason for a lot
- 20:29Speaker 3: of forces uh pushing to get rid of these horses
- 20:32Speaker 3: and carriages the boat is today at one o'clock most
- 20:34Speaker 3: likely it will pass and then we'll we'll see You know,
- 20:38Speaker 3: the NFL is supposed to play, you know, they do
- 20:41Speaker 3: these games where they play an NFL game in London
- 20:43Speaker 3: and Paris. So there's supposed to be one in Paris
- 20:47Speaker 3: in the middle of all this terrible rioting. I don't
- 20:49Speaker 3: know how the hell you do that. But it was
- 20:55Speaker 3: apparently canceled. They were moving the game. So it looks
- 20:58Speaker 3: like it's back on Roger Goodell. thinks they've gotten the
- 21:02Speaker 3: rioting under control. It did die down, but that's because
- 21:05Speaker 3: it's the week. Rioting is usually on the weekend. So
- 21:09Speaker 3: this weekend, it could heat up again, be even worse.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Although France says it's ready to stop the riots. It's
- 21:14Speaker 3: going to come out in force and put down the riots.
- 21:17Speaker 3: We'll see. Here's Roger Goodell.
- 21:19Speaker 9: We're continuing to make sure we have all the available information,
- 21:22Speaker 9: make sure the appropriate steps are being made. We're guests
- 21:26Speaker 9: in the country. We're going to be... good guess, and
- 21:30Speaker 9: we're going to do our thing. And I'm confident they're
- 21:33Speaker 9: going to do theirs.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Now, one thing about Roger Goodell, he's very, he's a
- 21:37Speaker 3: man that's very concerned, very concerned. Not about safety, he's
- 21:42Speaker 3: concerned about money. I mean, if everybody got killed, well,
- 21:44Speaker 3: that's a fact. But look at the dollars. Which is
- 21:48Speaker 3: the most profitable for the NFL owners? That's the way
- 21:52Speaker 3: he generally looks at things. How can we make the
- 21:54Speaker 3: most money? But we'll see if it happens. Hey, you know,
- 21:57Speaker 3: there were These rioters were going crazy, looting, robbing all
- 22:03Speaker 3: the big stores. Hermes, Louis Vuitton. They were just busting
- 22:08Speaker 3: even the Apple store. They went in the Apple store,
- 22:11Speaker 3: just broke in. Rioters came in and stole everything. The
- 22:17Speaker 3: Dior store. Dior, very smart. They hired their own army.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Military guys they hired all over the front of the store.
- 22:24Speaker 3: They saved their store. Apple, maybe even smarter. Oh, they
- 22:29Speaker 3: did break in and they took all the iPhones. But
- 22:32Speaker 3: look how smart Apple is. All the looters, when they
- 22:35Speaker 3: took the iPhones later, when they turned them on, instead
- 22:39Speaker 3: of the normal stuff, when they turned on the iPhone
- 22:41Speaker 3: for the first time, a screen came on and said,
- 22:43Speaker 3: this phone is going to be locked so you can
- 22:45Speaker 3: never use it. But we've already photographed you. Because, you know,
- 22:48Speaker 3: when you turn on the phone, you're looking right into it.
- 22:50Speaker 3: We photographed you. We have your picture. And this phone
- 22:52Speaker 3: is now tracking you. So... It's brilliant. Word gets around
- 22:58Speaker 3: and then they'll make sure never to loot the Apple
- 23:00Speaker 3: store ever again. Pretty smart on their part. President Trump,
- 23:06Speaker 3: as we've been telling you, he's been crisscrossing the country. Normally,
- 23:11Speaker 3: a president loses the House, loses Congress, you know, in
- 23:14Speaker 3: the midterms. That's normal. It always happens. This is one
- 23:17Speaker 3: president trying not to let that happen. This is one
- 23:20Speaker 3: president who always seems to pull a rabbit out of
- 23:22Speaker 3: the hat. And he may pull it off this time,
- 23:24Speaker 3: but he's working his ass off. Every day he's in
- 23:27Speaker 3: a different state. Today he's going to Iowa. He'll be
- 23:32Speaker 3: in Iowa today campaigning. We've got J.D. Vance, who's from Ohio,
- 23:36Speaker 3: so he's campaigning in Ohio for like the sixth time.
- 23:40Speaker 3: But the president just all over the place every day.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Can you imagine that? Every afternoon you fly to a
- 23:46Speaker 3: different state and back. Every night sleeps in the White House,
- 23:50Speaker 3: ready to go to work the next day. Got a
- 23:53Speaker 3: lot to get to. We'll take some calls coming up.
- 23:55Speaker 3: It's Mark Simone here. Three hours a day now, 9
- 23:58Speaker 3: to noon on 710WOR.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Now 9 till noon weekday. Mark Simone. Only on 710WOR. Hey,
- 24:07Speaker 1: we'll take some calls.
- 24:08Speaker 3: 800-321-0710 is the number.
- 24:10Speaker 8: 800-321-0710.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Give me a call. Now, you remember the story about
- 24:22Speaker 3: a week, week and a half ago, Susie Wiles, White
- 24:24Speaker 3: House chief of staff, President Trump was going to fire her.
- 24:28Speaker 3: He was unhappy about her daughter. Somebody else was profiteering
- 24:32Speaker 3: or something, all these claims. And that's it. Every, they're
- 24:36Speaker 3: going to fire. This Politico story went everywhere. Everybody was
- 24:40Speaker 3: reporting this. Susie Wiles is out. Politico considers itself a
- 24:46Speaker 3: very prestigious, very highly regarded organization. news Washington, DC site
- 24:53Speaker 3: that gives you inside information on Washington. Politico is just
- 24:57Speaker 3: a left-wing slanted biased, uh, site that the most biased
- 25:02Speaker 3: slanted everything. So the story turned out to be totally false,
- 25:08Speaker 3: completely false. The president has no intention of firing Susie Wiles.
- 25:13Speaker 3: He made that very clear. She'd been with him for
- 25:15Speaker 3: years and years and years. And, uh, So Politico just
- 25:22Speaker 3: kind of dropped it. They stopped mentioning it. The president
- 25:24Speaker 3: came right out and said, this is not going to happen.
- 25:28Speaker 3: She will be here for years. It was pretty definitive.
- 25:30Speaker 3: So they don't really mention the story anymore. White House
- 25:35Speaker 3: counsel now looking at suing Politico. You know, they're very good.
- 25:41Speaker 3: That's one thing Trump has done. It's a very good
- 25:43Speaker 3: thing to start doing. These fake news organizations, these fake
- 25:47Speaker 3: news sites that just print crap. Make them pay for it.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Maybe it'll slow them down a little. George Stephanopoulos, they
- 25:53Speaker 3: went after him, sued. ABC had to settle for $ 12 million.
- 25:57Speaker 3: 60 Minutes, the old 60 Minutes, doctored up in a video,
- 26:01Speaker 3: doctored up an interview, all kinds of fake stuff. So
- 26:05Speaker 3: the president went after them. They had to settle for
- 26:07Speaker 3: $ 20 million. Make these people pay for it. So he's
- 26:12Speaker 3: giving Politico a chance to retract it. The White House
- 26:16Speaker 3: counsel gave the outlet 48 hours to apologize to Trump
- 26:19Speaker 3: and retract the story. If they don't, White House counsel
- 26:24Speaker 3: said there will be consequences, which means a massive lawsuit
- 26:29Speaker 3: against Politico. And they may have to pay $ 10 million,
- 26:32Speaker 3: $ 15 million. So let's see. You got 48 hours. Let's
- 26:36Speaker 3: see if they retract it. This will be interesting. Hey,
- 26:39Speaker 3: we'll take some calls.
- 26:40Speaker 4: $ 800 million.
- 26:41Speaker 3: 321-0710. Give me a call. Look, there's open lines there.
- 26:46Speaker 3: We don't usually have open lines. 800-321-0710. Let's go to
- 26:53Speaker 3: Frank in Phoenix. Frank, how are you doing?
- 26:56Speaker 11: Good morning, Mark. Mark, out here in Arizona, Jay Feeley
- 27:00Speaker 11: is running for governor.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:02Speaker 11: I don't know if you remember him.
- 27:03Speaker 12: Of course.
- 27:03Speaker 11: He was a field goal kicker for the Jets and
- 27:05Speaker 11: the Giants.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 27:07Speaker 11: I saw him on Hannity's podcast, and this guy makes
- 27:10Speaker 11: so much common sense. I tell everybody, vote for him.
- 27:14Speaker 11: I said he'd be a great governor, and the guy
- 27:16Speaker 11: he's running against, the guy Shaw, he's terrible. The first
- 27:19Speaker 11: thing he said was, I'm going to fight Trump. That's
- 27:21Speaker 11: not your job. Your job is to work for the
- 27:23Speaker 11: people of Arizona. So I said, that guy's terrible, but Yeah,
- 27:27Speaker 11: I'm pulling for Jay out here. I hope you get there.
- 27:30Speaker 3: All right, we've got a lot of Arizona listeners. Vote
- 27:32Speaker 3: for Jay. You know, a lot of times people say, well,
- 27:34Speaker 3: I'm a football player. What is a football player?
- 27:36Speaker 11: Yeah, that doesn't mean anything.
- 27:37Speaker 3: No, because you look at most of these politicians, they're
- 27:40Speaker 3: all idiots. Mom Donnie never had a job in his life.
- 27:42Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Brad Lander has absolutely no skills in real life. None
- 27:46Speaker 3: of them have any qualifications. Yeah.
- 27:48Speaker 11: My son played soccer with him. He says he's a
- 27:50Speaker 11: real nice guy, friendly. He'll talk to you. I said, well,
- 27:52Speaker 11: that's the type of guy I like.
- 27:53Speaker 3: You know. All right. Well, that's not the criteria, but... Yeah,
- 27:58Speaker 3: I know.
- 27:59Speaker 11: I know. I know.
- 28:00Speaker 3: All right. What's the temperature there in Arizona today?
- 28:03Speaker 13: Right now, it's 57.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Oh.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Oh, normally it's 157. Okay, that's pretty good.
- 28:09Speaker 11: No, no, that's August and July. That time of year.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Be honest. It's April, May, June, July.
- 28:17Speaker 13: August, September.
- 28:18Speaker 11: Actually, at the beginning of April, it starts hitting the
- 28:21Speaker 11: triple digits, you know?
- 28:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:23Speaker 11: It's terrible. All right. Thank you, Mark.
- 28:26Speaker 3: All right, thanks for calling. Yeah, you've got these races
- 28:29Speaker 3: all over the country. And, again, the key is turnout.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Get out there and vote. But if you're an ex-football player, hey,
- 28:38Speaker 3: Jack Kemp, he was one of the greatest, smartest guys
- 28:41Speaker 3: ever in politics. Ex-football player. That's a great thing to–
- 28:46Speaker 3: it's a great qualification anyway. It teaches you a lot
- 28:48Speaker 3: playing football. Let's go to Paul in Glendale. Paul, how
- 28:52Speaker 3: are you doing? I'm great. Thank you.
- 28:55Speaker 12: I'm going to pull over just to speak to you
- 28:57Speaker 12: because I know you don't like hearing people driving while
- 28:58Speaker 12: they're talking to you.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Well, you can drive.
- 29:00Speaker 5: I think.
- 29:01Speaker 3: It's that speaker in the car.
- 29:03Speaker 13: I want to concentrate on what I have to say.
- 29:04Speaker 3: All right, go ahead.
- 29:06Speaker 11: The festering thought of the fake news, isn't what they're
- 29:10Speaker 11: doing considered espionage on some level?
- 29:13Speaker 3: No, it's considered propaganda. It's considered... You could argue it's
- 29:16Speaker 3: election tampering. You could argue it's fraud.
- 29:20Speaker 13: Let's shoot one of them at the firing squad and
- 29:22Speaker 13: see how many more.
- 29:23Speaker 3: No, no, let's not get crazy. But, yeah, you could
- 29:27Speaker 3: consider it fraud. You could give... Best thing is just
- 29:30Speaker 3: sue them. Make them pay for this. Just keep suing them.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Trump has already made, I don't know, there might be
- 29:36Speaker 3: a total of 50 million uh in fake news organizations
- 29:40Speaker 3: like abc and cbs having to settle this stuff just
- 29:43Speaker 3: keep suing them collect the money let's go to uh
- 29:46Speaker 3: david in connecticut david how.
- 29:48Speaker 13: You doing good mark hey that uh horse carriage thing
- 29:52Speaker 13: is such a pile of horse manure i mean it's
- 29:55Speaker 13: not hard for those horses to pull around a cart
- 29:57Speaker 13: it's charming in the park These liberals got to ruin everything.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Well, why not send them to Connecticut? They'd look great
- 30:05Speaker 3: in Connecticut. Where are you in Connecticut? Where do you
- 30:08Speaker 3: live in Connecticut?
- 30:08Speaker 4: I'm in New London.
- 30:09Speaker 3: I'm in New London. Too far away.
- 30:11Speaker 13: I want horse carriages trotting around.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Too far away. Too far away. But let's see. Stanford,
- 30:17Speaker 3: you could use some horse carriages. It would look great. Hey, Ridgefield.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Ridgefield's one of the most beautiful towns in Connecticut. New Canaan, beautiful.
- 30:23Speaker 13: Maybe around, yeah, or Mystic.
- 30:27Speaker 3: It's far away. Actually, you're right. Mystic gets a lot
- 30:30Speaker 3: of tourists. You got that new Delamar Hotel there. You
- 30:33Speaker 3: got Mystic Pizza. Yeah, you're right. Send them to Mystic.
- 30:37Speaker 3: But then, I don't know, the horses. The horses may go,
- 30:41Speaker 3: where the hell am I? I'm in the middle of Connecticut.
- 30:43Speaker 3: I'm in Mystic, Connecticut. What happened to New York? They're
- 30:45Speaker 3: used to 59th Street. They're used to the bright lights,
- 30:47Speaker 3: big city. Let's go to Mara in Nevada. Mara, how
- 30:52Speaker 3: you doing?
- 30:53Speaker 2: Good morning. I'm so good. Mark, a recent study said
- 30:58Speaker 2: that if you have a dog, you're going to extend
- 31:00Speaker 2: your life a couple of years.
- 31:01Speaker 1: You could.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I have a better way. Someone called in a couple
- 31:06Speaker 2: of days ago, 93-year-old lady. 98-year-old lawyer called you. I'm 96, 91. Perfect.
- 31:12Speaker 3: That's our target demo.
- 31:15Speaker 2: No, but we've been listening to you for decades. Long
- 31:18Speaker 2: time fan. I say, listen to the Mark Simone show.
- 31:23Speaker 2: We're living proof.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Well, that's true. It will keep you younger. Hey, you're
- 31:28Speaker 3: in Nevada. What time is it there?
- 31:30Speaker 2: Oh, it's something after 6. But, Mark, listen to what
- 31:33Speaker 2: I did. I have introduced four people out here in Pahrump,
- 31:40Speaker 2: and they're listening to your show.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Very good. We like that. Everybody in the audience should
- 31:44Speaker 3: do that.
- 31:44Speaker 2: They're under 70.
- 31:45Speaker 11: Oh, there you go.
- 31:46Speaker 2: So when I die, I will replace myself with four
- 31:49Speaker 2: people under 70. That's good.
- 31:51Speaker 3: We're not looking for children like that, but okay. Anyway,
- 31:56Speaker 3: thanks for doing that. Take care. Everybody do that. Everybody
- 31:58Speaker 3: go get us four new listeners. That way we could
- 32:01Speaker 3: quadruple the size of the audience. Let's go to Dr. Bob,
- 32:04Speaker 3: great surgeon in Long Island. Dr. Bob, how are you doing?
- 32:08Speaker 12: I am good, Mark. Thanks very much. I'm glad to
- 32:12Speaker 12: hear that Trump is using the law against Americans. the journalism,
- 32:17Speaker 12: because that's what needed to be done. I wish he'd
- 32:20Speaker 12: now turn it towards the legal system itself, the bar associations,
- 32:24Speaker 12: the lawyers that really fought against him. He's got to
- 32:28Speaker 12: use the legal system to straighten out the legal system.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that bar association, especially the New York bar, is
- 32:35Speaker 3: so left-wing, biased, slanted, dirty, just awful. All right, good point, Dr. Bob.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Thanks for calling. We've got a lot to get to.
- 32:44Speaker 3: We've got two more hours to go. Don't forget, I'm
- 32:45Speaker 3: here three hours every day, 9 to noon, 9 a.m.
- 32:49Speaker 3: till noon, three hours every day. Then at noon, you've
- 32:52Speaker 3: got Buck and Clay. You've got two very smart hosts.
- 32:57Speaker 3: You've got a lot of knowledge in those three hours.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Then at 3 o'clock, you've got the most listened to
- 33:02Speaker 3: radio show in America, Sean Hannity. You've got Jesse Kelly
- 33:06Speaker 3: at 6, the very funny Jimmy Fallon. Actually, he'll be
- 33:10Speaker 3: with us in the next hour. It's all coming up
- 33:12Speaker 3: on 710WOR.
- 33:15Speaker 1: What's better than two hours of Mark Simone?
- 33:18Speaker 4: Three!
- 33:18Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show. Now nine till noon weekdays.
- 33:22Speaker 10: 710WOR.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Well, hey, it's going to be a nice day today.
- 33:29Speaker 3: It's going to be about 65 today, 65 and sunny.
- 33:33Speaker 3: It's going to be, you know, it's going to be
- 33:35Speaker 3: bright sunshine for the next five days, six days maybe.
- 33:38Speaker 3: No rain for five, six days. Bright sunshine. It'll drop
- 33:42Speaker 3: into the 50s over the weekend, but then back into
- 33:45Speaker 3: the 60s next week. But nothing but sunshine and great
- 33:48Speaker 3: weather for, actually about seven days. Seven days of great
- 33:54Speaker 3: weather ahead. It's autumn. A week from Saturday, it's Halloween,
- 33:59Speaker 3: and then all the Thanksgiving stuff starts, and then it'll
- 34:03Speaker 3: be Christmas, and then you'll have New Year's, and then
- 34:05Speaker 3: you'll have April Fool's, Memorial. Next thing you know, it'll
- 34:09Speaker 3: be summer.
- 34:09Speaker 5: Why?
- 34:09Speaker 3: It's practically summer right now. Back right after the news
- 34:13Speaker 3: with two more hours to go on 710WOR.
