- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven to ten wo Honor.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Well, Hey, it's Friday, it's a beautiful It's Sunday Friday.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's gonna be in the sixties all weekend. You know,
- 0:14Speaker 2: you got seventy one days until summer, but you're gonna
- 0:18Speaker 2: get a summer preview next week. It'll be in the eighties,
- 0:21Speaker 2: might even hit ninety next week. A lot to get
- 0:23Speaker 2: to today, Malania Trump, what was that unusual statement? All
- 0:27Speaker 2: about that Epstein statement? What the hell is that all about? Well,
- 0:30Speaker 2: we'll explain. We'll get to Iran and the talks. We'll
- 0:33Speaker 2: get to NATO and pulling out of there. We'll get
- 0:36Speaker 2: to the crazy Democrats and what they're up to, the
- 0:39Speaker 2: Al Sharpton Convention. We'll get to this horrible case of
- 0:43Speaker 2: this police officer in the Bronx who shouldn't be going
- 0:47Speaker 2: to prison, getting sent to prison by one of these
- 0:50Speaker 2: crazy left wing judges. We'll get to that coming up,
- 0:53Speaker 2: and a whole lot more just ahead. The talks is
- 0:59Speaker 2: supposed to begin to tomorrow. Vice President Vance will be there,
- 1:04Speaker 2: Steve Whitkoff, Jared Kushner. There's talk of the Iranians not
- 1:09Speaker 2: showing up doing something crazy. The Iranians are absolutely totally
- 1:13Speaker 2: crazy in negotiations, often deliberately impossible to negotiate with even
- 1:19Speaker 2: if he can. They never stick to anything they agree to.
- 1:22Speaker 2: But still a good thing, still a very good thing
- 1:25Speaker 2: to have. This two week pause gives us a chance
- 1:27Speaker 2: to restock, rearm reset, develop all new targets. And if
- 1:34Speaker 2: you do this two weeks of talks, no matter what happens,
- 1:36Speaker 2: they don't agree to anything, they don't show up, whatever happens,
- 1:40Speaker 2: it's now an excuse to go back and finish the job.
- 1:43Speaker 2: It looks much better. If he gave the Iranians two
- 1:47Speaker 2: weeks to come to the bargaining table, they played games,
- 1:51Speaker 2: they wouldn't bargain perfect. Then you got the Then you
- 1:56Speaker 2: got the justification to go in there and just take
- 1:58Speaker 2: care of everything. So it could get If they don't
- 2:03Speaker 2: do anything in these bargaining talks, it could get pretty ugly. Now, remember,
- 2:07Speaker 2: anytime there's talks, negotiations, it's bumpy, it's ups and downs,
- 2:12Speaker 2: and anytime you have negotiations with absolute raging lunatics in
- 2:16Speaker 2: the Middle East, it's really bumpy. So don't get alarmed
- 2:20Speaker 2: if things go wrong or things blow up. That's perfectly normal.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Malania Trump yesterday shocked everybody. You know, she doesn't make
- 2:28Speaker 2: a lot of speeches or do press conferences or do statements.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Every so often, it's rare. And when she does, it's
- 2:34Speaker 2: about a program she's put together for children, something like that.
- 2:40Speaker 2: She's redecorating the White House somebody. But this was very,
- 2:44Speaker 2: very very formal. This was a very stately formal looked
- 2:49Speaker 2: like a serious announcement. She came out and spoke for
- 2:52Speaker 2: about ten minutes about Jeffrey Epstein and how she had
- 2:57Speaker 2: no relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. There's been a lot of
- 3:00Speaker 2: lies about Jeffrey Epstein, these Michael Wolfe type books. You know,
- 3:04Speaker 2: Michael wolf is that wormy, creepy little slimeball who writes
- 3:08Speaker 2: these fake books and he makes up all kinds of crap.
- 3:11Speaker 2: And George Stephanopolis has him on and treats him like
- 3:14Speaker 2: an author. Meet the press will have him on. They
- 3:16Speaker 2: pretend he's a serious author. It's just a slimy, slimy
- 3:20Speaker 2: tabloid guy. He's the guy that, among other people, made
- 3:24Speaker 2: up this whole fake story. But it was Epstein that
- 3:26Speaker 2: introduced Trump and Malania absolutely no truth to that and
- 3:30Speaker 2: all kinds of fake crap in these books. So she
- 3:35Speaker 2: let you know, set the record straight on all this stuff.
- 3:37Speaker 2: She'd met Jeffrey Epstein, there was a brief time where
- 3:41Speaker 2: she and her husband traveled in the same circles. That
- 3:43Speaker 2: means they were at the same gallows, they were at
- 3:45Speaker 2: the same parties. Epstein for a time was a member
- 3:49Speaker 2: of mar A Lago, came there to the big events
- 3:51Speaker 2: and the parties. Trump found out what a sleez ball
- 3:55Speaker 2: he was, threw him out of mari A Lago, banned
- 3:58Speaker 2: him from mar A Lago. But other than that, had
- 4:00Speaker 2: no relationship and occasional hello. If Julaane wrote an email
- 4:04Speaker 2: to Malaney, she sent a nice email back, how was
- 4:07Speaker 2: Palm Beach? Glad you had a nice time? That kind
- 4:09Speaker 2: of stuff, But no relationship. Didn't know him, had nothing
- 4:12Speaker 2: to do with anything. Never went to his house, never
- 4:14Speaker 2: went to his island, never sat down with him, had
- 4:18Speaker 2: never had a lunch or a dinner anything. But And
- 4:21Speaker 2: she also called for hearings, interview the survivors, get all
- 4:26Speaker 2: these women, bring them before Congress. She called for this,
- 4:29Speaker 2: put them all, you know under oath, gave on this now.
- 4:31Speaker 2: The only problem with that is half of them will
- 4:35Speaker 2: be committing perjury. There are some terrible victims and survivors,
- 4:38Speaker 2: but you see so many of them out there, a
- 4:40Speaker 2: lot of them aren't survivors, then they're not victims. Every
- 4:43Speaker 2: shady lawyer all over Florida has been rounding up any
- 4:46Speaker 2: girl they can find now grown now women and said,
- 4:51Speaker 2: you know, if you can say this and this and this,
- 4:54Speaker 2: I can get you a hundred thousand, you'll give me fifty.
- 4:56Speaker 2: You'll take fifty. That kind of stuff. So if they
- 4:58Speaker 2: put people on the earth to start doing that, a
- 5:00Speaker 2: lot of them will probably disappear real fast.
- 5:02Speaker 3: You know.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Alan Dershowitz was Epstein's lawyer way back when two thousand
- 5:07Speaker 2: and seven, two thousand and eight, when he was getting convicted,
- 5:10Speaker 2: and as his attorney, Epstein had to tell him everything,
- 5:14Speaker 2: everything juicy, everything with big names, and they wanted to
- 5:18Speaker 2: make a deal. Epstein was going to go to prison,
- 5:20Speaker 2: but they wanted to make a deal to get as
- 5:22Speaker 2: little prison time as possible. And the only way you
- 5:25Speaker 2: get that deal is if you can trade some information
- 5:27Speaker 2: on some big names. So Epstein had to tell Dershwitz
- 5:31Speaker 2: anything he had that he could use for a deal,
- 5:32Speaker 2: anything on the Trump's, anything on the Clints. He poured
- 5:35Speaker 2: out everything to Dershwitz, and Dershowitz is said on the
- 5:38Speaker 2: record he had nothing on Trump. There was nothing with Trump,
- 5:41Speaker 2: absolutely nothing, and if there had been, he would have
- 5:44Speaker 2: used it. So here's Melania.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Yesterday, give this victims their opportunity to testify under oath
- 5:52Speaker 4: in front of Congress with the power of swar and testimony.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Now again, the big question why would she do this?
- 6:01Speaker 2: In fact, all over the MAGA world and Twitter world,
- 6:05Speaker 2: and there's why would she Epstein was fading away, why
- 6:09Speaker 2: would she bring this back? Why would she do Well,
- 6:11Speaker 2: here's the reason. I can't tell you specifically, but this
- 6:14Speaker 2: was to preempt things. There was stuff coming and she
- 6:18Speaker 2: did this to preempt it. There was a let's just say,
- 6:23Speaker 2: they were going to get her on a before a
- 6:25Speaker 2: Congression committee. They're going to put her under oath, make
- 6:28Speaker 2: her testify, which she she will do. But this is
- 6:32Speaker 2: to preempt that. Also, there's some Michael Wolf type stuff
- 6:35Speaker 2: coming in print to the terrible, stupid, slanderous, untrue not
- 6:41Speaker 2: So this was to preempt all of that stuff that
- 6:44Speaker 2: they knew was coming. But she's now calling for the hearings.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Get these women understand, put them under oath.
- 6:50Speaker 4: I'm not a weakness or a name weakness in connection
- 6:54Speaker 4: with any of Epstein's crimes. My name has never appeared
- 6:59Speaker 4: in core documents, the positions, victim statements, or FBI interviews
- 7:07Speaker 4: surrounding the Epstein matter.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good way to put it. Chord documents.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Because these Epstein files, there are millions and millions of pages.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Everybody is in them. Everybody, I'm in the Epstein files.
- 7:20Speaker 2: There's a lot of nothing bad, nothing bad, just silly.
- 7:23Speaker 2: You know, he came to an event, I was the
- 7:25Speaker 2: MC of somebody mentioned my show in an email. I mean,
- 7:28Speaker 2: nothing stuff. And everybody says, you can find every name
- 7:31Speaker 2: in New York in those files. But the chord She's right,
- 7:33Speaker 2: the chord documents, which means anything to do with anything bad.
- 7:38Speaker 2: And there's millions people in those files that didn't even
- 7:40Speaker 2: know Epstein. You know, all of his American Express bills
- 7:44Speaker 2: are in the files. You can if you want to
- 7:46Speaker 2: read through that, you can read all those American Express bills.
- 7:48Speaker 2: So every restaurant in New York is in the Epstein files.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Every great stores in there, because they're in the American
- 7:54Speaker 2: Express bills. Here's more Millennia.
- 7:56Speaker 4: The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey need to
- 8:02Speaker 4: end today.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so again, there are a lot of these lives
- 8:05Speaker 2: out there. The Michael Wolf type, sleeze ball, creepy little
- 8:09Speaker 2: guys you know who. He and others made up this
- 8:12Speaker 2: whole fake story. The Epstein that introduced her to Donald Trump.
- 8:16Speaker 2: None of that was true, and she explained the whole
- 8:18Speaker 2: story where they met, who introduced it had nothing to
- 8:21Speaker 2: do with Epstein. They didn't even know Epstein. She had
- 8:24Speaker 2: never met Epstein then, So that was to preempt some
- 8:27Speaker 2: things coming, and hopefully hopefully it did. Hey, the secretary
- 8:31Speaker 2: of NATO came to meet with President Trump. Now we
- 8:35Speaker 2: should get the hell out of NATO. It sounds like
- 8:36Speaker 2: a good idea on paper, this NATO, this alliance where
- 8:40Speaker 2: we all help each other. But but we spend all
- 8:44Speaker 2: the money, we pay for most of it, and we're
- 8:47Speaker 2: the one country they won't help when we need some help,
- 8:50Speaker 2: they won't help us. We asked them for help in Iran,
- 8:53Speaker 2: not like we asked for troops or joined in the fight.
- 8:56Speaker 2: We just wanted to use our air base in Italy.
- 8:58Speaker 2: They wouldn't let us use it. We wanted to fly
- 9:01Speaker 2: over country, wouldn't let us use it. So if we
- 9:04Speaker 2: pay all the money into NATO and they will do
- 9:07Speaker 2: absolutely nothing nothing. If we ask him for change of
- 9:11Speaker 2: a quarter, they won't give it to us. What is
- 9:14Speaker 2: the point of being in there? This is the secretary
- 9:16Speaker 2: of route the.
- 9:17Speaker 5: US runts more and more to pivot towards the Inner Pacific.
- 9:20Speaker 5: This is one of the reasons why in Europe you
- 9:21Speaker 5: have to step up and that period of codependence and
- 9:25Speaker 5: become more interdependent with the United States. It was in
- 9:28Speaker 5: the alliance, a stronger Europe and a stronger NATO.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Now you could tell just listen to this guy sounds
- 9:32Speaker 2: like a real sleeze ball. It sounds like when you're
- 9:34Speaker 2: you know, in a hotel in another country and something
- 9:36Speaker 2: goes wrong in the manager and he comes out. He
- 9:38Speaker 2: talks fairy effect than us, just talking a mile a minute,
- 9:42Speaker 2: just to double talk.
- 9:43Speaker 1: He.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I wouldn't trust this guy for a second. He just
- 9:47Speaker 2: sounds horrible. Jake Tapper, Is the world safer today than
- 9:52Speaker 2: interviewing him? Listen to?
- 9:53Speaker 6: Is the world safer today than it was before the
- 9:56Speaker 6: war was started?
- 9:57Speaker 5: Absolutely because and this is things to President Trump leadership,
- 10:01Speaker 5: the degrading these capabilities is really really very important for
- 10:05Speaker 5: your my safety here in the US, in Europe, in
- 10:08Speaker 5: the Middle East.
- 10:09Speaker 2: All Right, even this slimee ball has to admit going
- 10:12Speaker 2: into a ran and all that we did has made
- 10:14Speaker 2: the world a lot safer. But he'll have nothing to
- 10:17Speaker 2: do with it, nothing to do with it anyway. Hopefully
- 10:20Speaker 2: we get the hell out of NATO or get them
- 10:23Speaker 2: to make some big changes. Hey, that Al Sharpton convention
- 10:26Speaker 2: continues today. Every year Al Sharpton has this National Action
- 10:31Speaker 2: Network Convention. It's taken place right over there at the
- 10:34Speaker 2: New York Sharton began Wednesday. Yesterday was the first full day,
- 10:38Speaker 2: goes through the weekend, and every big Democrat comes to
- 10:42Speaker 2: kiss the ring of Al Sharpton and appear. Today's a
- 10:46Speaker 2: big day today. Kamala Harris appears fireside chat. Imagine listening
- 10:52Speaker 2: to this yo yo for an hour. Also in fact,
- 10:56Speaker 2: it's Al Sharpton interviewing her. For this is the two
- 10:59Speaker 2: most in our ticulate people in the world discussing issues,
- 11:04Speaker 2: and Democrats all sitting there like bobble heads, nodding like
- 11:07Speaker 2: these two idiots are making sense, and also Pete Boodha
- 11:11Speaker 2: Judge will appear, all kinds of speculation that he's going
- 11:15Speaker 2: to run in twenty twenty eight. I would think the
- 11:18Speaker 2: reasons for the speculation is he's totally useless. He hasn't
- 11:22Speaker 2: had a job in two years. He's out of work,
- 11:24Speaker 2: got nothing to do, and he's always wanted to run.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Got a lot of experience. He was the mayor of
- 11:30Speaker 2: a tiny little town. Then he was the Secretary Transportation,
- 11:35Speaker 2: completely screwed up. Every inch of the job. Was a
- 11:37Speaker 2: total disaster. And in the democratic world, that's a resume,
- 11:41Speaker 2: that's a reason to run. So he'll be there today now.
- 11:44Speaker 2: The only thing is people at the convention tell me that,
- 11:47Speaker 2: you know, oh, Kamala Harris is going to talk who
- 11:50Speaker 2: Kamala Harris is gonna be there. They tell me that
- 11:52Speaker 2: there's absolutely no interest in Pete Booha Judge. Nobody buzzing
- 11:55Speaker 2: about him, Nobody that interested. Also, he's been running around
- 12:00Speaker 2: doing these kind of things. People will also tell you
- 12:04Speaker 2: that he is major pain in the ass. He's a
- 12:08Speaker 2: kind of a nobody in the democratic world. And he's
- 12:10Speaker 2: a cute guy. He's charging a little charm to him,
- 12:12Speaker 2: but an absolute nobody, and then whenever he comes to
- 12:15Speaker 2: peer at anything, he's a total diva. His demands are crazy.
- 12:19Speaker 2: He comes in like he's the President of the United
- 12:21Speaker 2: States with the demands for he needs this, he needs that,
- 12:24Speaker 2: he needs so he drives people crazy wherever he goes.
- 12:29Speaker 2: So that'll be today.
- 12:31Speaker 5: Hey.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Also, since they're both speaking, they'll both end up in
- 12:34Speaker 2: the green room together. I imagine it'll be cordial. But
- 12:37Speaker 2: remember he really expected to be chosen as Kamala's vice
- 12:42Speaker 2: presidential candidate. She wouldn't. She didn't choose him. I think
- 12:46Speaker 2: she actually said at one point there were too many
- 12:49Speaker 2: problems with him. So he's not going to be too
- 12:51Speaker 2: thrilled with that. But maybe they'll make up today in
- 12:54Speaker 2: the green room. Hey, this is awful, awful, awful case
- 12:59Speaker 2: in in the Bronx. Now there's a cop who has
- 13:03Speaker 2: to make a split second life and death decision. There's
- 13:09Speaker 2: a drug dealer. It's a sting operation. They're trying to
- 13:12Speaker 2: get these drug dealers and this one drug dealer jumps
- 13:14Speaker 2: on the motorcycle to get away. But as he tries
- 13:17Speaker 2: to speed away, he's heading into a bunch of cops
- 13:21Speaker 2: and it looked like he was going to hit them
- 13:22Speaker 2: with his motorcycle. Now, how do you stop this guy?
- 13:27Speaker 2: You're a Danny Reagan on Blue Bloods. What do you do?
- 13:30Speaker 2: What would Danny Reagan do? Well, it was a big
- 13:32Speaker 2: cooler there, So the cop split second, I mean, do
- 13:36Speaker 2: you let these cops get run over and really hurt?
- 13:39Speaker 2: He picks up the cooler and throws it at the motorcycle,
- 13:42Speaker 2: trying to knock the motorcycle down so it won't hit
- 13:45Speaker 2: the cops. Well, it's all split second. Nobody could predict anything.
- 13:49Speaker 2: So he throws it. It hits the driver the motorcycle,
- 13:52Speaker 2: which goes into a tree, and the guy riding the
- 13:55Speaker 2: motorcycle is dead. He dies. Cop is charged with manslaughter,
- 14:01Speaker 2: a murder, you know all they charge them with anything
- 14:03Speaker 2: and everything. Now this is this is the bronx So
- 14:08Speaker 2: you got these left wing kook das, real real, real
- 14:13Speaker 2: left wing das. This is a Bronx DA. Remember you're
- 14:16Speaker 2: in the world of Tish James and Alvin Bragg, those
- 14:20Speaker 2: kind of types. So they prosecute the hell out of
- 14:22Speaker 2: this poor cop who really was a hero. I mean,
- 14:27Speaker 2: it turned out to be a mistake to do that.
- 14:30Speaker 2: But again, in a split second, decision. Who would know
- 14:33Speaker 2: he decides because he's in the Bronx. Remember Bonfire, the vanities.
- 14:37Speaker 2: You know, they're not going to trust a Bronx jury
- 14:39Speaker 2: against a cop. A Bronx jury will most likely crucify
- 14:42Speaker 2: a cop. So they decide we'll do a bench trial,
- 14:45Speaker 2: which means the judge will decide. But then they end
- 14:48Speaker 2: up getting this awful judge Guy Mitchell. I mean, if
- 14:52Speaker 2: you had the sentences cop, he convicted the cop probably shouldn't.
- 14:56Speaker 2: But let's say you do. It's a it's a cop,
- 14:58Speaker 2: a public servant. Let's you could almost argue why you
- 15:02Speaker 2: had to convict him, but it's a cop. Maybe you
- 15:06Speaker 2: give him a house arrest, you do, you don't send
- 15:09Speaker 2: him to prison. And if you talk to lawyers, if
- 15:12Speaker 2: they said, if you had to send him to prison,
- 15:15Speaker 2: maybe one year. This awful judge Guy Mitchell gave him
- 15:18Speaker 2: three to nine years over sentenced him like crazy. Now,
- 15:22Speaker 2: one of the problems was you had the Al Sharpton crowd,
- 15:25Speaker 2: the Black Lives Matter crowd, and what were they there
- 15:28Speaker 2: for to defend the drug dealer? Do pre was this thing?
- 15:31Speaker 2: They were there to defend the drug dealer. We're chanting
- 15:34Speaker 2: for him you know, trying to be menacing, intimidating everybody
- 15:37Speaker 2: in the courtroom say his name, yeah, all that kind
- 15:44Speaker 2: of stuff. Now, the only hope of this cop is
- 15:47Speaker 2: an appeal. Arthur Idella, great lawyer, he's he's gonna do
- 15:52Speaker 2: the appeal. Alan Dershowitz is volunteered to help out on this.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Here's Arthur Idella and.
- 15:57Speaker 1: He was a civilian under the same exact of circumstances.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I don't even think he would be charged. Yeah. Now
- 16:04Speaker 2: the thing is they got to get this out of
- 16:05Speaker 2: the bronx, get it to someplace normal, someplace sane, and
- 16:10Speaker 2: try to get this done. Prosecutors from Letitia James office
- 16:16Speaker 2: argued against this cop and was really it's just an awful,
- 16:19Speaker 2: awful situation and hopefully they'll do something now. This awful judge,
- 16:23Speaker 2: Guy Mitchell, there was another case where it was almost
- 16:26Speaker 2: the same thing and it was an awful awful drug
- 16:29Speaker 2: dealer and he pled guilty to the same exact charges.
- 16:32Speaker 2: He was a drug dealer, he's part of a gang,
- 16:34Speaker 2: a gang. The judge did nothing, gave him attle slap
- 16:37Speaker 2: on the wrist nine months. So the double standard of
- 16:41Speaker 2: this judge pretty obvious. It's just absolutely awful. Now, the
- 16:45Speaker 2: other thing about this judge, he's going to get sentenced
- 16:49Speaker 2: in a couple of months. He's or he got sentence,
- 16:51Speaker 2: but he's going to appeal in a couple months. Talk
- 16:54Speaker 2: to other judges. Every judge said there's no way they'd
- 16:57Speaker 2: put the guy in jail. They'd let him out on
- 16:59Speaker 2: bail pending appeal. This judge wouldn't give him bail. He
- 17:03Speaker 2: remanded him, which is unbelievable, really awful of this judge.
- 17:07Speaker 2: What happened to this no bail. It's no bail, no
- 17:09Speaker 2: jail for everybody except this guy. This guy remanded. Hey,
- 17:13Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next eight hundred three to two
- 17:16Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 17:20Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Set up pre sat on the iHeart radio app to
- 17:24Speaker 1: double o R to hear Mark live. Set another for
- 17:28Speaker 1: Mark's podcast to hear him anytime. Now back to Mark
- 17:32Speaker 1: Simone on do WO R.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to uh VIC
- 17:38Speaker 2: in Pennsylvania.
- 17:39Speaker 7: Vic.
- 17:40Speaker 2: How you doing?
- 17:41Speaker 6: I'm going by Mark. I have two points if I may. First,
- 17:44Speaker 6: one is Camp Millennia sue this clown.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Actually she did? Uh Michael Wolf, Yeah, I think he
- 17:54Speaker 2: sued her first. She countersued him. Uh. And actually she
- 17:58Speaker 2: did go after a lot of people legally and they
- 18:00Speaker 2: had to apologize publicly. One was James Carvill I think
- 18:05Speaker 2: the other was was it The Daily Beast, you know,
- 18:07Speaker 2: which is a horrible left wing h Yeah, so she
- 18:11Speaker 2: got apologies out of them. They did have to retract stuff.
- 18:14Speaker 2: So yeah, she has gone after them and she should
- 18:17Speaker 2: keep doing that. Let's go to Stuart in South Carolina. Stuart,
- 18:21Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 18:22Speaker 5: Hey, Mark car are you you know?
- 18:24Speaker 2: I was just going to say that it's.
- 18:25Speaker 7: Every officer's duty to protect others from eminent danger. There
- 18:30Speaker 7: was a case where there was a guy shooting. The
- 18:33Speaker 7: officer hit him with his car because you have to
- 18:36Speaker 7: watch collateral damage. You're in a situation where you can't
- 18:39Speaker 7: shoot someone who may be hurting other people, so you
- 18:42Speaker 7: do what you have to do to stop that imminent danger.
- 18:45Speaker 7: And the fact that there's no bond is just it's
- 18:48Speaker 7: so ludicrous. In New York City where they're letting everybody out,
- 18:53Speaker 7: it's just unbelievable. The morale and the department is down
- 18:56Speaker 7: to nothing.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, it's a long time law enforcement guy. This
- 19:00Speaker 2: Gilgo beach rex Huremann. Have you ever seen a guy
- 19:03Speaker 2: look that crazy look like? Does he look like a
- 19:05Speaker 2: real serial killer? He looks crazy, doesn't he?
- 19:09Speaker 7: Yeah, he does look kind of nuts. You know, we
- 19:11Speaker 7: don't get a lot of the information down here when
- 19:13Speaker 7: it's gone down up there.
- 19:15Speaker 2: I followed that.
- 19:16Speaker 7: Case when it was first going on, and I was thinking,
- 19:18Speaker 7: there is a serial killer. But a lot of times
- 19:21Speaker 7: who I found out through decades of law enforcement that
- 19:25Speaker 7: who you are inside very often comes on out in
- 19:29Speaker 7: your face and what you look like or what your
- 19:31Speaker 7: home looks like, and it is indicative of who you
- 19:34Speaker 7: are inside.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yeah, good point. All right, thanks for calling. Let's go
- 19:37Speaker 2: to Bob and New Rochelle. Bob, how you doing?
- 19:40Speaker 3: Hey?
- 19:40Speaker 2: Mark? How you doing.
- 19:42Speaker 8: I gotta tell you, if I had a child that
- 19:43Speaker 8: was looking to go into law enforcement, I would do
- 19:45Speaker 8: everything in my power to dissuade them. It has turned
- 19:48Speaker 8: into such as show. It's disgusting. It just strives me nuts.
- 19:54Speaker 8: And I certainly hope that this guy has happened. Any
- 19:56Speaker 8: time President Trump comes in, partis them.
- 19:58Speaker 2: But I can't. If they can't, he can't partner. But
- 20:00Speaker 2: it's a local case, it's not a federal case, So
- 20:03Speaker 2: can't partner, but the governor should partner. Hey wa'ts Bruce Blakeman. Hopefully,
- 20:07Speaker 2: hopefully he'll make an issue out of this stupid case.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Hopefully should do something about it. District attorneys are under
- 20:12Speaker 2: the governor. Yeah, no, this, but being in law enforcement
- 20:16Speaker 2: is a very very honorable, noble profession. I understand what
- 20:19Speaker 2: you're saying. But maybe, and this is probably the case.
- 20:22Speaker 2: You want to go into a law enforcement you go
- 20:24Speaker 2: into it in Westchester, in Nasau County, or somewhere else,
- 20:27Speaker 2: not in New York where you're at the mercy of
- 20:29Speaker 2: these crazy, insane judges. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 20:34Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Matra Mark. Between this verdict
- 20:39Speaker 3: throwing the book at this cop and last week the
- 20:43Speaker 3: judge and the jurry not convictim Jonathan Dilla's kill a
- 20:48Speaker 3: first degree murder, this is, as Stuart said, this is
- 20:52Speaker 3: lowering the morale of the police force. Cops are not
- 20:57Speaker 3: going to reop after they had twenty years, going to
- 21:00Speaker 3: get out or if they're not already vested, Florida and
- 21:04Speaker 3: the other Red states are going to take them because
- 21:08Speaker 3: they're being treated better in other States, and also the
- 21:11Speaker 3: SANTIS is giving them like a five thousand dollars incentive
- 21:15Speaker 3: to move down there. And this is just what these
- 21:19Speaker 3: Kamis like Vandami want. They want all the best detectives,
- 21:24Speaker 3: people like Stewart, all the old timers. They want them
- 21:28Speaker 3: to leave. And this judge, this spineless piece of s
- 21:33Speaker 3: The only one of the reasons why he people like
- 21:37Speaker 3: him do that is because they don't want Hawk Newsome
- 21:41Speaker 3: and that other garbage from BLM protesting outside their house
- 21:47Speaker 3: like they do to Schumer. And then he quakes in
- 21:50Speaker 3: his boots and he caves in the way.
- 21:53Speaker 2: That's not the only reason these judges have got This
- 21:55Speaker 2: guy's name is Guy Mitchell, appointed by Deblasio. Many of
- 21:57Speaker 2: them are left wing kooks and left wing coppatriot some
- 22:02Speaker 2: of these judges.
- 22:04Speaker 3: But this is really bad because also this is what
- 22:08Speaker 3: Mandamie wants. People are gonna they're not gonna re up
- 22:11Speaker 3: already there's a shortage of detectives. I think we're supposed
- 22:17Speaker 3: to be up to seven hundred, were down to four hundred,
- 22:20Speaker 3: and Mandami's not gonna high up more people.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Absolutely right, it's gonna be. It's gonna we gotta go
- 22:26Speaker 2: for the news, Vincent, it's gonna be a problem, but
- 22:28Speaker 2: great call. Uh oh, when we come back, John Carney,
- 22:31Speaker 2: the brilliant business reporter. And the numbers came out today,
- 22:35Speaker 2: inflation numbers, consumer price index. How bad was it? How good?
- 22:39Speaker 2: What's the real deal with inflation in the economy. We'll
- 22:42Speaker 2: get to that in a moment. What's gonna happen with
- 22:43Speaker 2: oil prices? We'll get to that coming up on seven
- 22:46Speaker 2: to ten w R.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Let's get back to the Mark Simo show.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Hey with us right now. The brilliant John Carney, he writes,
- 22:55Speaker 2: he's the editor of Breichbart Business Digest, which the smartest
- 22:59Speaker 2: people in the business economists. They also the first thing
- 23:02Speaker 2: they read every day, the bright Bart Business Digest, and
- 23:05Speaker 2: John Karney, you can get it for free. It's a newsletter.
- 23:08Speaker 2: It'll come right to you. Just go to Breitbart dot
- 23:10Speaker 2: com and where it says newsletters, sign up for the
- 23:13Speaker 2: Business Digest. Very important to read that every day, bright
- 23:17Speaker 2: Bart Business Digest. John Carney, how you doing very good?
- 23:21Speaker 6: Mark, thanks for having me.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Hey, these numbers that came out today, inflation, consumer price
- 23:27Speaker 2: of course, the fake news will make it look like
- 23:29Speaker 2: disastrous numbers. What's the real story.
- 23:32Speaker 6: So the real story is something everybody knows. Gasoline prices
- 23:36Speaker 6: went up a lot during the Iran War. We have
- 23:39Speaker 6: the shutdown of the straight or for moves, pushed up
- 23:42Speaker 6: gasoline prices, pushed up oil prices. But beyond that, the
- 23:48Speaker 6: numbers are actually really good. Their grocery prices fell zero
- 23:53Speaker 6: point two percent for the month. Overall inflation was up
- 23:57Speaker 6: just zero point two percent. That's actually less than what
- 24:01Speaker 6: was expected. So this is very much confined to gasoline,
- 24:07Speaker 6: other energy products a little bit, but really a story
- 24:12Speaker 6: where you had a lot of inflation of higher prices
- 24:16Speaker 6: in gas that didn't spread to the rest of the economy.
- 24:20Speaker 6: It's not a story of well, we're paying more for gas,
- 24:23Speaker 6: so other prices are going up.
- 24:25Speaker 1: No.
- 24:25Speaker 6: In fact, the opposite looks like it's happening. We're getting
- 24:28Speaker 6: a better supply story in a lot of things. Prices
- 24:32Speaker 6: aren't moving up. It's really just gas prices.
- 24:35Speaker 2: And do you have any doubt that gas will come
- 24:38Speaker 2: right back down as soon as the Iran stuff is over.
- 24:42Speaker 6: Yeah, Look, it's already oil prices have fallen dramatically because
- 24:47Speaker 6: of just the ceasefire. We're not even really getting that
- 24:50Speaker 6: much oil through the straight up her mood. Yet there's
- 24:54Speaker 6: a lot of unclarity about what's going on there. But
- 24:59Speaker 6: the price have dropped from we were up near one
- 25:01Speaker 6: hundred and ten dollars barrel down into the nineties. They'll
- 25:06Speaker 6: probably drop further that will be reflected in gas prices.
- 25:11Speaker 6: So yes, that's going to come off very quickly, and
- 25:15Speaker 6: I think we're going to see some very good results
- 25:19Speaker 6: in the future when it comes to these inflation numbers. Again,
- 25:22Speaker 6: this is just a gasoline story.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so we don't get oil from the Straits. We
- 25:28Speaker 2: really don't need it. I know, are US oil they
- 25:31Speaker 2: raise the prices to match the world price, But couldn't
- 25:34Speaker 2: they not do that? Could they just keep the price
- 25:37Speaker 2: where it is based on the fact that we have
- 25:38Speaker 2: plenty of oil.
- 25:40Speaker 6: Yeah, look, we do have plenty of oil. But actually,
- 25:43Speaker 6: one of the things that happens when the price of
- 25:47Speaker 6: oil goes up around the world is it increases demand
- 25:51Speaker 6: from other places for US oil. So Japan can't get
- 25:56Speaker 6: oil right now from the Persian golf, so they're putting
- 26:01Speaker 6: in orders for US oil. So that's why our price
- 26:06Speaker 6: went up, is people are turning to US. I actually
- 26:10Speaker 6: think there may be not a permanent increase to oil
- 26:15Speaker 6: prices from this, but a permanent shift in demand towards
- 26:18Speaker 6: the US. Meaning people who were from countries, whether it's Japan,
- 26:25Speaker 6: South Korea, even China that we're getting a lot of
- 26:27Speaker 6: their oil from the Persian Gulf now realize that that's
- 26:30Speaker 6: not as secure as they thought, and they're going to
- 26:34Speaker 6: start saying, we need to have better relationships with US
- 26:37Speaker 6: oil producers so that we can get more of it
- 26:40Speaker 6: from there, not be as reliant as we have been
- 26:43Speaker 6: on the Persian Gulf. We do have a problem in
- 26:47Speaker 6: that the environmentalists have basically prevented US from building a
- 26:51Speaker 6: pipeline to the West Coast, which would make it much
- 26:55Speaker 6: easier to, you know, take our oil from North Dakota,
- 26:58Speaker 6: from Oklahoma, from Texas and bring it into Asia. Right now,
- 27:04Speaker 6: believe it or not, Mark the oil goes all the
- 27:07Speaker 6: way from the Gulf of Mexico all the way around
- 27:11Speaker 6: South America and then up to Asia. It's basically like
- 27:15Speaker 6: a nineteenth century whaling ship has to sail all the
- 27:19Speaker 6: way around South America to get all They can't even
- 27:22Speaker 6: get through the Panama Canal because these oil tankers are
- 27:26Speaker 6: so big in the Panama Canal is one already, you know,
- 27:30Speaker 6: basically stuffed to the gills with traffic. And number two,
- 27:32Speaker 6: it can't take the giant oil tankers. It can take
- 27:35Speaker 6: smaller ones, but the oil goes all the way around,
- 27:38Speaker 6: which is sort of mind blowing that we're still doing that.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Well, so, John Connie, the left yelling and screaming, look
- 27:44Speaker 2: what Trump did to the gas prices. Look what that's
- 27:46Speaker 2: doing to your pocketbook. But didn't the left do that
- 27:50Speaker 2: to your energy bill or electric bill used to be
- 27:52Speaker 2: one hundred dollars now it's five hundred. Isn't that what
- 27:55Speaker 2: the left did because of their green schemes and all
- 27:57Speaker 2: that stuff.
- 27:58Speaker 6: Oh yeah, Look, energy prices to be high. They really
- 28:04Speaker 6: want oil prices to be high. If they could, if
- 28:08Speaker 6: they could get their way, oil prices and gasoline prices
- 28:11Speaker 6: would be much higher. All you have to do is
- 28:12Speaker 6: look at where oil price, where gasoline is cheaper, and
- 28:15Speaker 6: where it's more expensive. It's super expensive in states like
- 28:19Speaker 6: California that have enormous taxes on gasoline, So they would
- 28:25Speaker 6: And why do they want gasoline to be expensive. One
- 28:28Speaker 6: they want people to stop using fossil fuels. Two, when
- 28:32Speaker 6: you get it, when you get the price of gasoline
- 28:35Speaker 6: to go up. It makes the idea of getting an
- 28:38Speaker 6: electric car a little bit more attractive because you say,
- 28:41Speaker 6: I wouldn't have to pay as much for gasoline. So
- 28:44Speaker 6: they're trying they want these things to be more expensive
- 28:47Speaker 6: so that their green scheme alternatives look relatively less expensive.
- 28:53Speaker 6: It's phony when they complain about the price of gasoline
- 28:57Speaker 6: going up. They want it higher. And if they get
- 28:59Speaker 6: a elected into office, believe me, what we've seen right
- 29:03Speaker 6: now will be nothing compared to what we will be
- 29:07Speaker 6: paying for gasoline if we have a Democratic Congress and
- 29:11Speaker 6: a Democratic president.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Well, John Carney, right, by Business. I just we've been
- 29:15Speaker 2: quoting you all week. We're talking about the stock market,
- 29:18Speaker 2: you know, crashing on the beginning of Iran. It's soaring,
- 29:21Speaker 2: and you called it an overreaction machine. I think that's
- 29:25Speaker 2: the best description of it. It really is, that, isn't it.
- 29:29Speaker 6: Absolutely? Look one of the things that happens is investors
- 29:34Speaker 6: basically begin to overreact and then you get a recursiveness
- 29:39Speaker 6: because they see stocks starting to fall and you know,
- 29:43Speaker 6: they sold a little, and then they say, oh it's
- 29:45Speaker 6: going down even more, I better sell more. So you
- 29:48Speaker 6: do get this overreaction, and then it also over corrects
- 29:51Speaker 6: the other way, where you get these huge jumps. Over time,
- 29:55Speaker 6: it tends to even out. Right, it's in the short
- 29:58Speaker 6: term it can look absolutely nuts. But when we look
- 30:02Speaker 6: back on say stocks this year or even last year, right,
- 30:05Speaker 6: stockworker did really well last year even though we had,
- 30:09Speaker 6: you know, the Liberation Day reaction where stocks crashed. So,
- 30:14Speaker 6: you know, my advice to everybody is, look, unless you're
- 30:18Speaker 6: a you know, like a trader at a Wall Street
- 30:21Speaker 6: firm or a hedge fund and you know you're trying
- 30:23Speaker 6: to trade that little that volatility that happens, you know,
- 30:27Speaker 6: look past that stuff. What's going to happen over the
- 30:30Speaker 6: year is all of these ups and downs will look
- 30:33Speaker 6: very small compared to what the actual trend of stocks.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Yeah, we went through this with terras remember that stock
- 30:40Speaker 2: market crash and then we hit all the time eyes
- 30:42Speaker 2: after that.
- 30:43Speaker 6: So that's right, And what the reason is because ultimately
- 30:48Speaker 6: what stocks reflect is the shape is how the economy
- 30:52Speaker 6: is doing. The economy is actually doing quite well. We
- 30:55Speaker 6: have a lot of tailwinds in the economy right now
- 30:58Speaker 6: that are actually stronger than the higher price of gasoline. Yes,
- 31:02Speaker 6: higher price of gasoline is a drag on the economy.
- 31:06Speaker 6: But all of the Trump tax cuts that are hitting
- 31:09Speaker 6: right now, all of the deregulation that's hitting right now,
- 31:12Speaker 6: that's actually propelling the economy forward even stronger than the
- 31:17Speaker 6: higher gas prices are a drag. So I think we're
- 31:20Speaker 6: actually going to see accelerating growth through the year.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Wow. All right, that's a good note to end on.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Very good. John Carney writes stuff for Breitbart Business Digests.
- 31:29Speaker 2: He's the editor and I love reading it every day. Now.
- 31:32Speaker 2: The best way to get it you go to Breitbart
- 31:34Speaker 2: dot com. Right, go to newsletters.
- 31:36Speaker 6: Yep, go to newsletters. It's totally free. It comes to
- 31:39Speaker 6: your inbox every day, and on Friday it's especially fun.
- 31:44Speaker 6: We do a kind of lighthearted weekly wrap of everything
- 31:47Speaker 6: that's happened. So today's a good day to subscribe.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Yeah, go go to Breitbart dot com, go to newsletters
- 31:53Speaker 2: and sign up for the bright Bart Business Digest. It's
- 31:55Speaker 2: excellent stuff. And read John Karney every day. You'll really
- 31:59Speaker 2: really a lot, John Carney, thanks for being.
- 32:02Speaker 6: With us, Thanks for having me, Mark, take.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Care, don't forget Buck and Clay Noon today. Well, it's
- 32:08Speaker 2: a very good show every day from noon to three.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Then you got the most listened to radio show in America,
- 32:14Speaker 2: biggest audience. Actually probably have anything on radio TV. Sean
- 32:18Speaker 2: Hannity Radio Show three to six. You got Jesse Kelly
- 32:21Speaker 2: at six. You got Jimmy Fayla every night at night,
- 32:25Speaker 2: excellent show. It's very funny. It's every weeknight nine to
- 32:28Speaker 2: midnight here on seven ten. WR Mister New York.
- 32:32Speaker 1: He's on the case, The mars Terimone Show on seven
- 32:36Speaker 1: Tenor Hey.
- 32:39Speaker 2: It's gonna be a really nice weekend. It's gonna be
- 32:41Speaker 2: in the sixties, mid sixties. Then next week, next week,
- 32:44Speaker 2: you'll be in the eighties. It might even hit ninety
- 32:47Speaker 2: next week. So summers a couple months away, but you'll
- 32:50Speaker 2: get a preview all in next week. So Democrats, you're
- 32:57Speaker 2: crazy liberal left wing friends. You know, it's like if
- 33:03Speaker 2: you ever know somebody in a cult, you can't talk
- 33:05Speaker 2: to them. You can't talk them out of being in
- 33:07Speaker 2: the cult. You can't tell them what's wrong with the cult.
- 33:09Speaker 2: They're not going to listen to you. So they're kind
- 33:11Speaker 2: of like people in a cult. You know, they watch MSNBC,
- 33:14Speaker 2: they watch CNN, and you can't argue with what they're
- 33:17Speaker 2: being told. Because they when they look at MSNBC, they
- 33:21Speaker 2: actually think they're watching some sort of a newscast. The
- 33:24Speaker 2: set looks like a news set that anchors got glasses
- 33:27Speaker 2: and a bow tie, and they think they're watching hard news.
- 33:31Speaker 2: They're just watching crazy, made up stuff. You know, Malania
- 33:35Speaker 2: met Donald Trump through Jeffrey Epstein, and they believe all
- 33:39Speaker 2: this kind of stuff. Then they put on this guy,
- 33:42Speaker 2: Michael Wolfe, this wormy little author, to discuss how close
- 33:47Speaker 2: Trump was to Epstein. Well, if you read through the
- 33:52Speaker 2: Epstein files, in which I have, it's millions of pages,
- 33:55Speaker 2: but you'll see Trump was not close to Epstein. He
- 33:59Speaker 2: knew him briefly one hundred years ago. But you'll see
- 34:02Speaker 2: that nobody was closer to Epstein. Nobody was more tangled
- 34:07Speaker 2: up with Epstein than Michael wolf They were conspiring every day,
- 34:12Speaker 2: meeting every day, talking every day, emailing a thousand times
- 34:15Speaker 2: a week back and nobody had a tighter relationship with
- 34:19Speaker 2: Epstein than Michael Wolfle. You watch this. This guy puts
- 34:22Speaker 2: out these videos every day. He I'm looking at the
- 34:25Speaker 2: one today. It's about how shameful it was that Melanie
- 34:27Speaker 2: would have anything to do with Epstein. Nobody had more
- 34:30Speaker 2: to do with Epstein than Michael Wolfe. They never mentioned
- 34:34Speaker 2: that when they interview him. Never bring it up, Never
- 34:37Speaker 2: show all the emails that were going back and forth
- 34:40Speaker 2: between the two of them. Hey, we got a lot
- 34:41Speaker 2: to get to in the next hour. We'll get to Iran,
- 34:46Speaker 2: We'll get to more about the crazy left coming up,
- 34:49Speaker 2: We'll get to Artemis and more. Right after the news
- 34:52Speaker 2: Mark Simone here on seven to ten wo
