- 1:07Speaker 6: is greater than the sum of its sauce. Say howdy,
- 1:10Speaker 6: partner to new Buffalo Ram Sauce only at McDonald's for
- 1:15Speaker 6: a limited time.
- 1:16Speaker 3: And participating McDonald's h It is a Monday. It is
- 1:20Speaker 3: one forty three pm Eastern Standard Time. And where we
- 1:25Speaker 3: are here live from HQ four where it is are
- 1:28Speaker 3: not live. This is actually not live. This is pre
- 1:30Speaker 3: recorded by less than twenty four hours.
- 1:34Speaker 2: You'll notice that we are without Rowan today. Unfortunately, not
- 1:38Speaker 2: too long ago, the three of us had a meeting
- 1:41Speaker 2: where we had very different opinions on the future of
- 1:44Speaker 2: the show, and it did not resolve peacefully. It did
- 1:50Speaker 2: not and came violence. He was pissed and he said,
- 1:54Speaker 2: if you don't believe that I should be the face
- 1:59Speaker 2: of the show, then why don't you too, just try
- 2:01Speaker 2: doing it yourselves. I've got a good thing going with
- 2:04Speaker 2: Pat Beverly.
- 2:06Speaker 3: That's pretty much what was the divibe was. Pat Bev
- 2:08Speaker 3: said it was either Son of a Boy Dad or
- 2:10Speaker 3: The Pat Bev Show with Ron Right and Roan said, well,
- 2:13Speaker 3: at least my fucking name is in the title of
- 2:15Speaker 3: the other show he did.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Even though it's like a secondary credit.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Totally, it's a massive secondary credit. Yeah, but uh, you know,
- 2:26Speaker 3: Ron's in Chicago filming are He's streaming the Eagles game
- 2:30Speaker 3: with the Chicago Boys. It is funny because if you
- 2:32Speaker 3: said that, there would be people on Reddit tomorrow morning
- 2:35Speaker 3: being like, so, I guess Roane's out of Son of
- 2:36Speaker 3: a Boy Dad. Yeah, and it's down to Francis and Hairball.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Looks like they're making some big changes over at the
- 2:45Speaker 3: Son of a Boy Dad Crew.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I managed to saltburn my way into the podcast. Your
- 2:50Speaker 2: toast next, I'm going to bury all of you as
- 2:52Speaker 2: you watched it, right, Yeah, Yeah, we've talked. We talked
- 2:55Speaker 2: about it last time.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I mean, like we said before, I forget every single
- 2:57Speaker 3: thing that we talked about as as soon as we're
- 2:59Speaker 3: done talking about it, that's okay. Do you want to
- 3:01Speaker 3: talk ball up front? Yeah, we can talk ball. I
- 3:04Speaker 3: got a couple of things to talk about. Nothing crazy though.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I had a pretty relaxed weekend.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it just did a lot of spots.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yeah, nice, went fishing on Saturday. Yeah, all time bad,
- 3:14Speaker 3: all time bad fishing track. Oh no, it's very funny.
- 3:17Speaker 3: So uh yeah, I'll talk about this and then we
- 3:19Speaker 3: talk about ball. But so the whole So, it poured
- 3:23Speaker 3: on like Tuesday last week, like like terrible rain. I
- 3:26Speaker 3: heard the river was like eleven feet, yeah exactly. Normally
- 3:30Speaker 3: it's four feet yeah. Yeah, so I told you about that.
- 3:32Speaker 3: So yeah, it was flooded. I was keeping an eye
- 3:35Speaker 3: on it all week because you can just look up
- 3:36Speaker 3: the water levels and it's like there's something that just
- 3:38Speaker 3: keeps track of it. Twenty four to seven?
- 3:39Speaker 2: Is there an app?
- 3:40Speaker 3: There's probably an app. I just used some random Google
- 3:43Speaker 3: water levels chart and uh and so I was keeping
- 3:48Speaker 3: an eye on it. It went back down to like
- 3:49Speaker 3: seven feet. So I was like, all right, this is fine,
- 3:51Speaker 3: we can definitely go fishing. I was gonna go with
- 3:52Speaker 3: one of my friends who lives who grew up with
- 3:54Speaker 3: who lives in New York now, and he was like
- 3:57Speaker 3: he like rented like waiters and shit, so he was
- 4:00Speaker 3: so he was like definitely like in to go. And
- 4:02Speaker 3: then it poured Friday night and then I woke up
- 4:06Speaker 3: Saturday at like seven am after doing like a one
- 4:08Speaker 3: thirty spot at the stand, and I was like, all right,
- 4:11Speaker 3: well I'm awake, and he already rented the equipment, so
- 4:14Speaker 3: we can't just like I can't just be like, hey, dude,
- 4:16Speaker 3: we're not going, even though I knew this is a
- 4:19Speaker 3: terrible idea. Yeah, because the water level was at like
- 4:22Speaker 3: ten feet. Yeah, so I'm like, this is going to
- 4:24Speaker 3: be a disaster.
- 4:25Speaker 2: But whatever.
- 4:25Speaker 3: I've gone when it's flooded before and I've caught fish.
- 4:28Speaker 3: We get down there highest I've ever seen it by
- 4:30Speaker 3: a mile.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I hit the pause. Why are you renting equipment?
- 4:33Speaker 3: I need equipment? He rented equipment. Oh, he rented waiters
- 4:36Speaker 3: because he doesn't have waiters.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Should we get him some?
- 4:39Speaker 3: No, they're like a one thousand dollars. They're expensive as far. Yeah,
- 4:42Speaker 3: that's how much you bad for your water. I were
- 4:44Speaker 3: like five hundred bucks. But I didn't get like great waiters. Okay,
- 4:47Speaker 3: there's better waiters that are more expensive. Yeah, so I
- 4:52Speaker 3: get that. We get down there the only time I've
- 4:54Speaker 3: ever been there where there's not like twenty cars parked
- 4:57Speaker 3: all people fishing. It was completely empty. We're putting on
- 5:00Speaker 3: our gear. Some old dude comes up to us and
- 5:02Speaker 3: he's like, I'll come back around nine pm. If you
- 5:04Speaker 3: guys are still here, I'll not to send out the
- 5:06Speaker 3: search squad. And I was like, ah, yeah, that's funny,
- 5:10Speaker 3: and they but I was like, I don't even think
- 5:12Speaker 3: it's I was like, it's high and it's fast as fuck,
- 5:14Speaker 3: but like it's nothing like I haven't seen before. But
- 5:17Speaker 3: it's also muddy as hell. He couldn't see anything in
- 5:19Speaker 3: the water.
- 5:20Speaker 2: It's all stirred up.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yeah. So we get out there. We walk probably ten
- 5:26Speaker 3: minutes down the trail and I'm like, I'm like, he's
- 5:29Speaker 3: never been fly fishing, and I'm like I'm telling him
- 5:31Speaker 3: I'm not really that good at fly fishing, but I'm
- 5:32Speaker 3: gonna tell you what I know. So I was like,
- 5:34Speaker 3: all right, like I'm showing him the rocks. I'm like,
- 5:37Speaker 3: there's usually fish like fifteen feet behind a rock, like
- 5:41Speaker 3: in front of a rock, to the sides of rocks,
- 5:43Speaker 3: the rat yeah shit like that, telling him where to fish,
- 5:46Speaker 3: and I'm like, honestly, this isn't a bad place. We
- 5:48Speaker 3: could just start here. And I'm like probably in like
- 5:51Speaker 3: a foot of water, and I'm like, look, yeah, let's
- 5:54Speaker 3: just start here. I like, undo my line, start I
- 5:58Speaker 3: take one step forward, and so suddenly I am up
- 6:00Speaker 3: to my neck in water, fully submerged in water. It
- 6:05Speaker 3: was like but it was like two falls. It was
- 6:07Speaker 3: like the first one, I was up to my waist
- 6:09Speaker 3: and then I was like, oh shit, my pack is
- 6:11Speaker 3: gonna get all wet.
- 6:12Speaker 2: That sucks.
- 6:13Speaker 3: And then I fell forward and next thing I know,
- 6:15Speaker 3: I cannot touch the bottom. I am fully swimming in
- 6:19Speaker 3: a river that is moving like thirty feet per second
- 6:23Speaker 3: and he's like twenty feet deep. So I get out
- 6:25Speaker 3: of the water and it's the middle of January. It's
- 6:28Speaker 3: fucking freezing, and it's like my waiters are like my
- 6:32Speaker 3: waiters are filled with water. My sweatshirt, my rain jackets soaked,
- 6:36Speaker 3: and I get out of the water and I'm just
- 6:38Speaker 3: like there's nothing I could do, because like we're already
- 6:40Speaker 3: out there, and if I was by myself would have
- 6:42Speaker 3: left instantly. And the first thought I had while I'm
- 6:46Speaker 3: still in the water is like, he just runs all
- 6:48Speaker 3: this equipment and we're gonna have to leave right now.
- 6:50Speaker 3: But I toughed it out. I mean, we fished for
- 6:53Speaker 3: like an hour, no luck, lost like four flies, and
- 6:56Speaker 3: you're soaked so through.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I drove home.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I took my waiters off full gallons of water came
- 7:04Speaker 3: out of my way. It was like hank they jumped
- 7:07Speaker 3: into from that lady. Yes, exactly. Yeah, it was crazy, dude, Damn,
- 7:12Speaker 3: I've never body catched anything. No, there was no there
- 7:15Speaker 3: was no fish, There was nothing. We didn't even come
- 7:17Speaker 3: close to getting a bite.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Do they just sort of chill on days where it's
- 7:21Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:21Speaker 3: All I know is that that book that I have
- 7:23Speaker 3: by that like Tom Rosenbauer whatever he said the only
- 7:26Speaker 3: time that he the one condition that he doesn't go
- 7:29Speaker 3: fishing in is uh flooded in the winter.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Oh yeah, And.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I mean it was just there, we were there was
- 7:36Speaker 3: it was there was not a single person fishing.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Were you still having a good time though.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it was fine. It was like it's
- 7:42Speaker 3: it's always good to get out there, just to get
- 7:44Speaker 3: away from and just get away out out of the city.
- 7:46Speaker 2: But how long of a drive is it?
- 7:48Speaker 3: Like forty five minutes and your buddy picks you up? No,
- 7:51Speaker 3: I rented a car.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Wow? Nice? Yeah? Fuck yeah, man, I'm happy to hear that.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Dude. I've never like I was I would just randomly
- 8:00Speaker 3: start laughing about it. The entire time, because I was like,
- 8:04Speaker 3: I'm sitting there, he's never been fly fishing, and I'm like, yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 3: so pretty much what you're gonna want to look for
- 8:07Speaker 3: is like behind these rocks, and the next thing I know,
- 8:10Speaker 3: I'm just up to my neck anymore.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not quite the teacher you thought you were.
- 8:14Speaker 2: It was.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I'm happy he was there because if that was by myself,
- 8:18Speaker 3: that would have been like so embarrassing to have to
- 8:21Speaker 3: just walk back to the car by myself, sopping wet
- 8:25Speaker 3: and then just drive home soaked.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I'm excited for our fishing debut, Yeah, I really am. Yeah.
- 8:33Speaker 2: So I do find I find fly fishing very hard.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I struggle with it.
- 8:38Speaker 3: It's super hard. But I think that's what's fun about it.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I think it's a lot more fun than going out
- 8:42Speaker 3: in like a boat. I mean, they're all all fishing
- 8:44Speaker 3: is fun.
- 8:45Speaker 2: The problem I find is that with fly fishing, I've
- 8:47Speaker 2: been times where you know, it's it's it's entirely possible
- 8:52Speaker 2: that the skill of the fisherman is not going to
- 8:54Speaker 2: necessarily change the outcome. Yeah, they're just what will be
- 8:59Speaker 2: fish are not biting that, yeah, definitely, And that frustrates
- 9:03Speaker 2: me because it's someone who thinks I'm trying to learn.
- 9:05Speaker 2: I want to improve, but I have no idea if
- 9:10Speaker 2: I'm not getting any bites right now because my cast
- 9:13Speaker 2: is improper or because it's just not the right day.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it pisses me off.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I'm how do you learn from that?
- 9:22Speaker 2: You can't learn from that.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Now, I mean you can learn, like what what weather
- 9:27Speaker 3: and stuff will be better than other.
- 9:29Speaker 2: You need a guide or a teacher who knows what
- 9:32Speaker 2: a really good cast looks.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Like.
- 9:34Speaker 2: If I could see someone casting and they're catching fish,
- 9:37Speaker 2: I would and I'm not. Then I know it's me.
- 9:40Speaker 3: I've noticed that just from like the couple times that
- 9:42Speaker 3: I've been to New Jersey, because like the first couple
- 9:44Speaker 3: of times I got completely skunked, and then I started
- 9:46Speaker 3: getting like bites and stuff and then like catching fish.
- 9:49Speaker 3: And I've noticed that, like it's more just knowing how
- 9:53Speaker 3: to read the water rather than the actual cast. So
- 9:56Speaker 3: that's more in the winter, because in the winter it's
- 9:58Speaker 3: like you're just nymphing, which is barely eaving. You're barely
- 10:01Speaker 3: even casting barely. You're literally just throwing it in front
- 10:04Speaker 3: of you and then letting it drift I see. But
- 10:07Speaker 3: that's more I've noticed that has been more just like
- 10:09Speaker 3: just from what I read in that book, like it
- 10:11Speaker 3: helps me like know where to look. And then I
- 10:13Speaker 3: went out and I caught fish.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Got it? Yeah, I sent you a d M. I
- 10:17Speaker 2: sent you a clip of someone of a of a
- 10:21Speaker 2: quote from a river runs through it. Oh really, I
- 10:24Speaker 2: didn't see it. What was it? I can't really remember,
- 10:27Speaker 2: but it was someone using that quote. I realized in
- 10:31Speaker 2: my time away that my brother he called a shadow cast.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I noticed the river it would create a rainbow.
- 10:43Speaker 3: That I realized that in my time away my brother
- 10:47Speaker 3: had become an artist. Yea, yeah, yeah, something completely different.
- 10:52Speaker 2: That was very funny that we were laughing about. Yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 2: you should watch it. Sometimes a river runs through it,
- 10:58Speaker 2: the DM. I said, I should watch it. It wouldn't
- 11:05Speaker 2: take long.
- 11:06Speaker 3: No, but I watched most of your dms. I probably
- 11:08Speaker 3: probably just got lost in my feet. We've gotten pretty
- 11:10Speaker 3: good at dming each other. Yeah, I get a lot
- 11:12Speaker 3: of dms from people sending me reels. I'm always exchanging
- 11:14Speaker 3: reels with the fellas.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I like doing it.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's fun. That's fun, especially when you get a
- 11:18Speaker 3: really good one, even though it has nothing to do
- 11:21Speaker 3: with you. It just stumbled upon your feed. But you
- 11:24Speaker 3: get to be like, yo, check your DMS just sent
- 11:26Speaker 3: you a heater.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I sent my wife one a week ago and she
- 11:30Speaker 2: still hadn't watched it. And we were driving home from
- 11:33Speaker 2: upstate this morning and I said, did you watch that?
- 11:36Speaker 2: And she said, no, I haven't. I only checked my
- 11:38Speaker 2: DMS once every other week or so. And that actually
- 11:41Speaker 2: made me happy because it made me think she's not
- 11:44Speaker 2: cheating on me. Yeah, but is that how people cheat? Like?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Is that hell?
- 11:47Speaker 3: Like adults cheat through DMS?
- 11:49Speaker 2: What do you think she's going to a motel? No?
- 11:51Speaker 3: I feel like it'll be mostly through like text messages.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Well, now I get to press your bubble. I gotta check.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I'm looking at them. You're telling me I'm looking in
- 12:01Speaker 2: the wrong place or DMS. I don't know, like a hawk.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I should have just been looking at our goddamn text messages. No,
- 12:13Speaker 2: I don't.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Think your wife is cheating on you. That's a positive. Hey,
- 12:17Speaker 3: it's the little things, you know.
- 12:19Speaker 2: It's a little win. Oh man.
- 12:26Speaker 3: But yeah, we could talk ball. Let's get into the ball.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Well, let me tell you I had a fever of
- 12:30Speaker 2: one hundred and one point eight.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Yes, which is worrisome because my immune system is dog shit,
- 12:35Speaker 3: So any little trace of anything that you get, you're
- 12:38Speaker 3: definitely gonna get.
- 12:39Speaker 2: I think I'll be fine. I think I'll be fine.
- 12:42Speaker 2: You don't know, worry about sick. Fine. I feel fine too. Yeah,
- 12:44Speaker 2: you don't sound sick. I don't feel great, but I
- 12:46Speaker 2: feel less feverish.
- 12:48Speaker 3: I never feel great ever.
- 12:50Speaker 2: No, No, I fell off dry January in a bad way.
- 12:55Speaker 3: I did hear about that through the grapevine.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Did you had you made a prediction about how long
- 12:59Speaker 2: you thought I would last? No?
- 13:01Speaker 3: I didn't think you were going to last, though.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I lasted eleven days.
- 13:04Speaker 3: But I think I also was a part of that
- 13:05Speaker 3: because I told you that you don't need to do it.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yeah, but now I want to get back on it.
- 13:09Speaker 3: No, you don't get to get back on it. It's
- 13:12Speaker 3: that's not at all. Halftime. Absolutely, there was a halftime.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Absolutely intermission. Everyone stretches their legs. No, if you go
- 13:21Speaker 3: dry January, now you got to go dry beginning of
- 13:23Speaker 3: January or dry end of January, dry beginning of February.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Very stupid, come blind. You got to full month. You
- 13:29Speaker 2: can't just do dry January. And then I got halftime,
- 13:33Speaker 2: and then I did the I get second half.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Absolutely, No, I'm a second half team, dude, because most
- 13:37Speaker 3: people only like it. Like, so, what now, You're going
- 13:40Speaker 3: to take a week off of drinking? A lot of
- 13:41Speaker 3: people do that anyway.
- 13:42Speaker 2: No, I'm going to take two more weeks off. It's
- 13:44Speaker 2: January fifteenth.
- 13:47Speaker 3: January fifteenth.
- 13:48Speaker 2: I didn't drink yesterday because I had a fever one
- 13:50Speaker 2: hundred one?
- 13:51Speaker 3: What what what happened? You had a couple of cocktails?
- 13:53Speaker 3: Did you get drunk?
- 13:55Speaker 2: Well? On what was it? Friday? I went out, got
- 14:02Speaker 2: I had a few drinks. Saturday, I had some drinks.
- 14:06Speaker 2: So you so you drank multiple times Saturday? I think
- 14:08Speaker 2: I had a full bottle of white wine by myself.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Okay, so you came back harder than ever and then
- 14:14Speaker 3: that I've taken a couple of weeks off of drinking
- 14:16Speaker 3: and then came back and it just knock into thirty beers.
- 14:18Speaker 2: It was like I was catching up for lost time.
- 14:21Speaker 3: That's usually how it is so bad. Yeah, because I
- 14:23Speaker 3: had no tolerance. Yeah, and then I had a couple
- 14:27Speaker 3: of beers and then I had just started drinking tequila.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Oh wow. And then I smoked some weed.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Oh damn, and you were done.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Hard, done that in a long time party mode. And
- 14:38Speaker 2: we're the next day because we were trying to play
- 14:40Speaker 2: a game Code Names, which is fun with some friends.
- 14:44Speaker 2: And she told me that once I smoked the weed,
- 14:46Speaker 2: I became a stupid mute. Yeah, that's what she said.
- 14:50Speaker 2: I could see that.
- 14:51Speaker 3: She goes, you were just a stupid mute. She doesn't
- 14:54Speaker 3: like when you smoke weed. When I stopped talking, yeah, yeah,
- 14:58Speaker 3: it just sort of melted.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:01Speaker 3: I got some buddies that smoke a lot of weed,
- 15:03Speaker 3: and we play video games, and they get on when
- 15:04Speaker 3: they smoke and they're and they have smoked weed. You
- 15:06Speaker 3: can tell it kisses me off. It's not that fun
- 15:09Speaker 3: because then you got to sit there and you're like hello,
- 15:13Speaker 3: and they were like, bud, sorry, yeah, yeah, I'm here.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I'm here. But you hang out with a lot of stoners.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Not really, No, No.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I don't feel like I mean, Gardini smokes weed, but
- 15:25Speaker 3: he doesn't really, He's always mellow.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, So I did all that and then
- 15:33Speaker 2: on Sunday, I thought I was just hungover.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Yeah, to the degree that I actually went and played
- 15:40Speaker 3: pickleball in the morning. Ooh, but I had a fever
- 15:43Speaker 3: and I didn't even know. I was literally just talking
- 15:45Speaker 3: about that with uh with Mook yesterday, about being hungover
- 15:50Speaker 3: and thinking you're hungover and then realizing that you're sick.
- 15:52Speaker 2: It's hard to know. Yeah, that's I. I didn't realize
- 15:57Speaker 2: that I was sick until the late afternoon, Yeah, because
- 16:00Speaker 2: I just thought, well, I'm just tired. I treated my
- 16:03Speaker 2: body like shit. By the late afternoon, I was like, man,
- 16:06Speaker 2: usually it starts to better by now, and this is
- 16:11Speaker 2: getting worse. Yeah, and I'm getting nauseous. Yeah, and it's
- 16:16Speaker 2: like waves of nausea. I have no appetite. I couldn't
- 16:18Speaker 2: eat anything. Yeah. And then I took my temperature and
- 16:22Speaker 2: it was very validating. Yeah. See that it was one
- 16:25Speaker 2: on one point eight. Yeah.
- 16:27Speaker 3: That happened to me when I went to Moon Tower
- 16:29Speaker 3: last year, because I did Chain's show at the stand
- 16:33Speaker 3: and then we went out until like four am. Yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 3: and then I almost missed my flight at JFK in
- 16:38Speaker 3: the morning. And then I got to Moontower and I
- 16:41Speaker 3: felt so shitty, but then I just drank more, yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 3: and I felt better again. And then I woke up
- 16:46Speaker 3: the next day feeling like unbelievably bad. And then I
- 16:49Speaker 3: realized I was just sick as fuck for the whole time.
- 16:52Speaker 3: I was there, like waking up in the middle of
- 16:55Speaker 3: the night, just gliding through my sheets soaked in sweat,
- 16:58Speaker 3: like one oh three fever, lost my voice.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Oh it was terrible. When are you going to get
- 17:05Speaker 2: back to drinking? I don't know how long has it
- 17:08Speaker 2: been now?
- 17:08Speaker 3: It's definitely that story is definitely not making me want
- 17:11Speaker 3: to go back, that's for sure. Fifty days, I don't know.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Let me see you mark in your sobriety. Oh yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 3: are you really? Oh yeah, damn dude, But we'll get
- 17:21Speaker 3: you back right. You're not done forever.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I don't know. Let's see, what is this bullshit?
- 17:29Speaker 3: People need to drink fifty four days? You need to drink.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I don't know, man, it's been Uh, it's definitely been good.
- 17:37Speaker 3: I haven't really missed drinking that much at all, to
- 17:40Speaker 3: be honest.
- 17:40Speaker 2: But you need to drink moderately.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's not how I operate.
- 17:44Speaker 2: But this is America. You need to get to a
- 17:46Speaker 2: point in your life where you can have a drink
- 17:50Speaker 2: or two or ten no or ten twenty. Do away
- 17:55Speaker 2: with those thoughts. Drinking doesn't have to be this fucking
- 17:58Speaker 2: yard sale.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Yeah, but dude, you're explaining it to me as if
- 18:02Speaker 3: I don't know that. I know that, and that's just
- 18:03Speaker 3: not how I can do it.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I can't.
- 18:05Speaker 3: You're all or nothing, got Yeah, I'm physically in case.
- 18:07Speaker 2: It just comes with age.
- 18:09Speaker 3: I'm not capable of drinking like three beers.
- 18:13Speaker 2: You'll get there.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Maybe you're twenty three, yeah, twenty two, twenty two, almost
- 18:18Speaker 3: twenty three.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Jesus Christ Chimney Christmas. Yeah, hanging it up early. I'm
- 18:25Speaker 2: trying to think of what. Okay, we want to talk ball?
- 18:28Speaker 3: Yeah, we can talk ball.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I'm down to the ball and talk ball.
- 18:31Speaker 3: You want to talk to somebody else, No, I'm always
- 18:32Speaker 3: down to talk ball. Did you have another thing you
- 18:35Speaker 3: wanted to talk No? I really didn't, Man, I don't
- 18:40Speaker 3: have much.
- 18:41Speaker 2: It's too bad Roan decided you didn't want to be
- 18:43Speaker 2: part of this anymore. It's really too bad we lost.
- 18:46Speaker 2: I mean, it doesn't really matter.
- 18:47Speaker 3: This is what people look for in the podcast anyway,
- 18:49Speaker 3: just talking about nothing, yeah, for hours and then they
- 18:53Speaker 3: just fucking fall asleep to it.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Hair Ball does this thing now where he texts me
- 18:59Speaker 2: whenever a huge comedian we know has sold out like
- 19:03Speaker 2: a seventeen thousand seat theater. Yeah, I like to cut it.
- 19:07Speaker 2: I'm in touch.
- 19:07Speaker 3: I know the lineup of like the Stand New York
- 19:10Speaker 3: and the Cellar every single night.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Get the fuck out of here? Where to god what?
- 19:14Speaker 3: I checked the lineups. I don't do it as much anymore,
- 19:17Speaker 3: but like up until like probably like three months ago,
- 19:20Speaker 3: I would check the lineups because I just.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Want to know where, who's performing, where, what's going down.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Get your finger on the pulse.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd say, oh shit, this person's doing theaters now,
- 19:28Speaker 3: oh shit, this person doing arenas now, Shane, I'm talking
- 19:32Speaker 3: about Shane. Shane sold out the pa form where he's
- 19:35Speaker 3: going to perform there seventeen thousand seats.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Harry texted to.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Me, you know, I mean, it's cool, it's impressive.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it is cool, and it's for these people. Yeah,
- 19:44Speaker 2: But at the same time, it's like, you know, you're
- 19:47Speaker 2: just reminding me on a daily basis how fucking poorly
- 19:52Speaker 2: things are going for me. And I don't know that
- 19:55Speaker 2: I need that.
- 19:56Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know, I don't I don't look
- 19:58Speaker 3: at it as a bad thing. I look at it
- 19:59Speaker 3: as a good thing. I also think it's cool.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I think it's encouraging.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's cool that comedy is that big.
- 20:04Speaker 2: I think it is too. I'm going did you don't
- 20:07Speaker 2: tell this Friday? No way? Really in La? This Friday?
- 20:11Speaker 3: Yeah, damn, that came up out of nowhere. Did you
- 20:13Speaker 3: know it was this Friday this whole time? Mm hmm,
- 20:15Speaker 3: oh wow, that's awesome. Yeah. Time moves quickly, Yeah, it does.
- 20:19Speaker 3: I was just I just had a meeting with my
- 20:20Speaker 3: manager and agent about doing one of those soon.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I'm doing it Friday. I'm going to go out to
- 20:28Speaker 2: LA and I haven't been there in a long time. Yeah,
- 20:32Speaker 2: And I was thinking I might just go out on
- 20:34Speaker 2: the flight, do the show, and then take the red
- 20:37Speaker 2: Eye home.
- 20:38Speaker 3: I think that's a great idea. I'm very pro doing that.
- 20:41Speaker 3: You're talking about like twelve hours of that doesn't bother
- 20:45Speaker 3: you travel. It's so much better to just get home, dude.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Anytime that I'm on the West Coast, like I when
- 20:49Speaker 3: I did like Portland, or like Phoenix or anything like that,
- 20:53Speaker 3: or La, I'm always looking at the Red Eye, or
- 20:56Speaker 3: even anytime I go on the road, I'm looking at
- 20:57Speaker 3: the Red Eye after the Saturday late show just to
- 20:59Speaker 3: get the fuck out.
- 21:00Speaker 2: You can never take the red eye after the late
- 21:02Speaker 2: show on Saturday.
- 21:04Speaker 3: No, very rarely, but you can sometimes it.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Needs to be one thirty am.
- 21:09Speaker 3: LA has flights like that, though, lax to JFK, that
- 21:13Speaker 3: definitely exists. They got some late red Eyes from that.
- 21:16Speaker 3: But that's like the only one that you can do.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Well. The other option is to be in LA for
- 21:23Speaker 2: one day, the day of Saturday. Yeah, spend the night
- 21:26Speaker 2: and then just take my original flight home, which is
- 21:28Speaker 2: Sunday morning.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Why don't try and do some shit out there that
- 21:30Speaker 3: do some podcasts, do some big podcasts or something.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I don't even know how to do that.
- 21:38Speaker 3: I mean, you know people, or maybe do some spots
- 21:40Speaker 3: at the store or something.
- 21:42Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know how to do that.
- 21:44Speaker 3: He just talk to your agent.
- 21:46Speaker 2: What really?
- 21:47Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 21:50Speaker 2: What about just hanging out at a rooftop hotel and
- 21:55Speaker 2: drinking margaritas and eating like chips with really good Also,
- 22:00Speaker 2: that's also a good option.
- 22:01Speaker 3: But you can do that in New York and reading
- 22:03Speaker 3: my book. No you can't, Yes you can. It's thirteen
- 22:07Speaker 3: degrees outside right now. By the way, I biked here
- 22:12Speaker 3: it's the coldest it's ever been. It's fucking freezing outside
- 22:15Speaker 3: of you doing what are you looking at? I got
- 22:17Speaker 3: I ordered door Dash fucking two hours ago, and the
- 22:19Speaker 3: dude was taking forever. And then he got here and
- 22:22Speaker 3: he's like, I'm here, but he's not here. And then
- 22:25Speaker 3: he just texted me and said I left. So that's
- 22:30Speaker 3: what I was doing. I haven't eaten anything today. I'm
- 22:32Speaker 3: fucking starving. No coffee, no food.
- 22:34Speaker 2: What's the matter with you?
- 22:36Speaker 3: Nothing? We have shit to do. I know this is
- 22:39Speaker 3: the new pot. I know there's no run. I mean,
- 22:42Speaker 3: I'm getting fucking seven hundred calls a minute. I don't
- 22:45Speaker 3: know what I'm supposed to do.
- 22:45Speaker 2: I can't rely on Roan Fall. It doesn't matter.
- 22:49Speaker 3: It's impeccable professionalism and his constant ability to keep the
- 22:54Speaker 3: show moving forward. I was looking forward to having that
- 22:57Speaker 3: fucking coffee.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Dude, you want to order another one?
- 23:00Speaker 3: Hell no? Not well, mid podcast, not mid cast.
- 23:03Speaker 2: So should I go to LA and just booge out
- 23:06Speaker 2: on a rooftop hotel? By the way, you can't do
- 23:09Speaker 2: that in New York. There's no rooftop pools with good
- 23:13Speaker 2: salts and nice Chrispy just so cold out.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Because it's so cold out, nice crispy chips.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I want Christmas chips. Dude, I think you should go out.
- 23:24Speaker 3: I think you're gonna after you get the don't tell.
- 23:25Speaker 3: I mean, are you nervous at all for the dontail?
- 23:27Speaker 2: No?
- 23:28Speaker 3: No, why would I be. I don't know, it's a taping.
- 23:30Speaker 2: What the fuck do I care? I would care.
- 23:32Speaker 3: I would be fucking shitting my pants.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Not me. I would be so nervous.
- 23:37Speaker 3: I mean, but yeah, I mean I feel like if
- 23:39Speaker 3: I was out there and I got it done and
- 23:41Speaker 3: you're like killed, it was great, went really well, I'd
- 23:44Speaker 3: be like, I'm gonna fucking party.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I don't want to party. I want to sit on
- 23:49Speaker 2: a lounge chair at a bougie la hotel.
- 23:52Speaker 3: It's like your idea of partying and read my book
- 23:55Speaker 3: and eat agwa chili. Yeah, so just do that and
- 23:57Speaker 3: then leave in the morning and amachi career. The problem
- 24:00Speaker 3: is going from the West Coast to the East coast.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Leaving in the morning doesn't even matter because you're gonna
- 24:04Speaker 3: get back at like nine pm.
- 24:06Speaker 2: But I have a nine am flight on Friday.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Get home at is the taping on Friday?
- 24:13Speaker 2: The tapings on Friday. I have a nine am flight
- 24:16Speaker 2: on Sunday.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Oh, dude, you're gonna miss playoff ball. Definitely take the
- 24:22Speaker 3: red Eye.
- 24:22Speaker 2: This is a problem.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Definitely take the red Eye. You're gonna miss Chiefs first
- 24:26Speaker 3: the bills.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Dude, you're telling me I need to take the Saturday
- 24:30Speaker 2: Red Eye? Should I? Yes? Should I booge out on
- 24:33Speaker 2: the day of Saturday.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Booge out day of Saturday, getting your zone.
- 24:38Speaker 2: And then red eye home Saturday night. Yeah?
- 24:40Speaker 3: Wait, the taping is Friday, Friday night. Dude, just leave
- 24:44Speaker 3: Saturday morning. What the hell are we even talking about?
- 24:46Speaker 2: What is this?
- 24:48Speaker 3: I thought it was Saturday night and you were trying
- 24:49Speaker 3: to figure out if you should go home Saturday night
- 24:51Speaker 3: or Sunday mornings. Why would you stay until Sunday? Why
- 24:54Speaker 3: would you stay an entire extra.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Originally I thought I was gonna play golf with Dan Rappaport. Oh, oh, okay,
- 25:00Speaker 2: but then he decided to go to Hawaii. Now okay,
- 25:03Speaker 2: and then told me to stay at his home. But
- 25:06Speaker 2: I don't feel that comfortable doing that. No, I always
- 25:09Speaker 2: feel weird doing that.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Yeah, then you always you always think someone's gonna show
- 25:11Speaker 3: up that and I worry that my people who own
- 25:18Speaker 3: the home that I'm staying in are worried that I'm
- 25:20Speaker 3: sniffing around in the wife's panty drawer or that I'm
- 25:24Speaker 3: being snoopy, But you probably are. No, you gotta have
- 25:28Speaker 3: some sort of curio.
- 25:29Speaker 2: But I only don't because I'm so neurotic about it.
- 25:32Speaker 3: And also, you got to think Dan Rappaport, he probably
- 25:34Speaker 3: makes a lot of money. He's probably got some crazy
- 25:36Speaker 3: security system watching you on the exactly he's gonna be watching.
- 25:40Speaker 2: You behavior because I'm concerned that they are.
- 25:44Speaker 3: Hidden cameras that you can't crank down, that I'm living
- 25:46Speaker 3: in a police state like that, Yeah, as opposed to
- 25:49Speaker 3: some hotel. Imagine if you've tried to crank down. He
- 25:54Speaker 3: was watching you from seven different angles. He had fucking
- 25:57Speaker 3: three sixty camera on you.
- 25:58Speaker 2: That is not my idea.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Do you have those cameras anywhere?
- 26:02Speaker 2: No?
- 26:03Speaker 3: Those those fucking no no nothing read them. My dad
- 26:09Speaker 3: has set up the ring cameras at my house a
- 26:11Speaker 3: while ago.
- 26:12Speaker 2: What's the benefit of that?
- 26:13Speaker 3: And my mom made him take them down instantly.
- 26:15Speaker 2: What's the benefit.
- 26:15Speaker 3: He started talking to us from his office at work
- 26:18Speaker 3: through the ring camera, and my mom made him come
- 26:22Speaker 3: home and remove them.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Why why why did he do it?
- 26:26Speaker 3: I think he got them for like free somehow, and
- 26:29Speaker 3: then and then he put them up, and then my
- 26:31Speaker 3: mom was like, this is insane. We don't need this.
- 26:34Speaker 3: No one wants to have. Like my mom was saying
- 26:36Speaker 3: that we're gonna have like my sisters are gonna have
- 26:38Speaker 3: like their friends over and we're gonna have it, like
- 26:39Speaker 3: on videotape of them walking into the house. It seems
- 26:43Speaker 3: like the only purpose for them now is to make
- 26:45Speaker 3: like viral videos of like coming home drunk.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I guess so, I don't I don't quite understand the
- 26:54Speaker 2: point of the ring cameras, but I guess it's to
- 26:57Speaker 2: see if people are stealing packages from your stoop or
- 27:01Speaker 2: I could use that doorbell. Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 3: I get shit stolen all the time. It's so annoying.
- 27:09Speaker 2: And I don't know. Like I got ordered a poster.
- 27:12Speaker 3: This was last week, right before we recorded Wednesday episode.
- 27:14Speaker 3: I had a poster that arrived. It arrived while we
- 27:18Speaker 3: were recording, and then I went downstairs. It had been
- 27:20Speaker 3: there for thirty minutes and it was gone.
- 27:24Speaker 2: You gotta get up doorman building, dude.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. It's fucking frustrating. I've had so
- 27:29Speaker 3: much shit stolen living in New York. I had a
- 27:31Speaker 3: PlayStation get stolen. What I never told you about that?
- 27:35Speaker 2: No, this was like two years.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Ago when I lived in Hell's Kitchen. I just moved
- 27:40Speaker 3: to Hell's Kitchen. Dude, Yeah, I just moved to Hell's Kitchen.
- 27:43Speaker 3: And it was right after Christmas and I was in
- 27:45Speaker 3: between apartments. So I brought all of my belongings back
- 27:49Speaker 3: to Massachusetts and then I got COVID or someone got COVID.
- 27:54Speaker 3: It was when COVID was like a big scare and
- 27:56Speaker 3: like my friend got COVID who I was hanging out
- 27:59Speaker 3: with the day before, and my mom was like, you
- 28:00Speaker 3: got to go back to New York. We don't want
- 28:02Speaker 3: to get COVID. So I went back to New York
- 28:04Speaker 3: and I had my mom ship me all with my belongings, everything,
- 28:07Speaker 3: all my clothes, all my PlayStation. And I remember I
- 28:12Speaker 3: went to work and I came home and I brand
- 28:15Speaker 3: new apartment. I'm like, who's fuck, there's a bunch of
- 28:18Speaker 3: clothes outside spread out on the street and I was
- 28:24Speaker 3: like what is I was like, oh shit, someone' shit
- 28:26Speaker 3: is all over the place. And then I started looking closer,
- 28:28Speaker 3: and it's all of my stuff, all of like like sweatshirts, underwear,
- 28:33Speaker 3: just in the on fucking forty eighth street, spread out,
- 28:40Speaker 3: spread out on the street. My boxes are torn to shreds.
- 28:44Speaker 3: I was able to collect enough clothes to wear still
- 28:47Speaker 3: you warrior street cloth I had to. I was every
- 28:51Speaker 3: single pair of clothes that I own. They had grit
- 28:53Speaker 3: and gravel. Yes, And then my PlayStation's gone. Luckily, my
- 28:57Speaker 3: fucking my hiking boom were still there. But aside from that,
- 29:03Speaker 3: all of my shit was gone. It was so frustrating.
- 29:05Speaker 3: And then luckily, the good, the good people of Twitter
- 29:07Speaker 3: were able to find me a new PlayStation rather easily.
- 29:10Speaker 3: What yeah, I've gotten two PlayStations through Twitter for free.
- 29:15Speaker 3: So the first PlayStation I had, my mom mailed it
- 29:18Speaker 3: to me when I lived in Easter Village, and she
- 29:20Speaker 3: mailed it to me with the HDMI cord still plugged in,
- 29:23Speaker 3: and then it bent inside of it, so the Hdmi
- 29:25Speaker 3: like input thing broke. So then my buddy Jake from
- 29:30Speaker 3: Twitter aka call me Shitto. Do you know him? No,
- 29:35Speaker 3: He's done a lot of stuff with barstool. Okay, he
- 29:38Speaker 3: did like that podcast with Dukes the lacrosse one for
- 29:41Speaker 3: a while. Okay, he sent me he got a PC
- 29:45Speaker 3: and he mailed me his PlayStation with like all of
- 29:48Speaker 3: his controllers, games and stuff downloaded on. It was awesome.
- 29:51Speaker 3: All he made me do was just pay for the shipping.
- 29:54Speaker 3: And and then that was the one that got stolen
- 29:56Speaker 3: when I moved to Hell's Kitchen. And then this one.
- 30:00Speaker 3: I don't know who sent me that. I think it
- 30:01Speaker 3: was like a fan. It got a PS five and
- 30:03Speaker 3: send me their PS four.
- 30:04Speaker 2: If someone gives you a gift, a nice gift, and
- 30:07Speaker 2: that gift gets stolen or you lose it, yeah, do
- 30:10Speaker 2: you think it's on you to buy another version of
- 30:14Speaker 2: that gift. Absolutely not, in order to make sure that
- 30:17Speaker 2: they think you didn't lose it or have it stolen. No.
- 30:22Speaker 3: But I did lose a lot of shit, Like I
- 30:23Speaker 3: lost like my Christmas gifts because it was right after Christmas.
- 30:27Speaker 3: All of my Christmas gifts were stolen.
- 30:31Speaker 2: My godfather got me a watch for graduating. Yeah, and
- 30:35Speaker 2: it was a nice watch. It was a tag Hooya
- 30:39Speaker 2: here or whatever. Nice and I wore it for a
- 30:42Speaker 2: year and a half and then I lost it or
- 30:44Speaker 2: I had it stolen. And then I saw him again,
- 30:48Speaker 2: and I wasn't wearing it, and I felt the need
- 30:51Speaker 2: to come clean, and I told him that it was
- 30:53Speaker 2: lost slash stolen.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think that matters as long as you
- 30:56Speaker 3: got a good year out of it. Shouldn't I have
- 30:59Speaker 3: just bought another one of the same watch and then
- 31:02Speaker 3: made him think nothing had happened.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Why not?
- 31:05Speaker 3: Because I don't think he's going to be like mad
- 31:07Speaker 3: at you for the watch getting stolen.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Don't you think that he thinks such a nice gift
- 31:12Speaker 2: is worthy of a little more attention and kind of protection.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Wouldn't have said it got lost slash stolen?
- 31:20Speaker 2: I think I think I said it got stolen.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely go with that.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I don't know if it matters.
- 31:28Speaker 3: I think it definitely matters, because if you got if
- 31:30Speaker 3: it got lost, that means like, oh, I wasn't really
- 31:32Speaker 3: keeping track of it. If it got stolen, that means like, well,
- 31:35Speaker 3: what could you do? You know people are gonna steal.
- 31:38Speaker 3: It's gonna happen, Yeah, especially if you live in the
- 31:40Speaker 3: big city of New York. Right, Good thing we don't
- 31:44Speaker 3: live in Chicago. We'd be getting watches stolen left and right.
- 31:48Speaker 2: It's very cold there right now.
- 31:49Speaker 3: It is fucking freezing, very cold. At the Chiefs game
- 31:53Speaker 3: this weekend as well.
- 31:54Speaker 2: I was talking ball.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I was freezing there. I hate the Chiefs more
- 31:59Speaker 3: than I I think I've ever hated anything in my life.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I swear, really, dude, like the rage that they bring me.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Why I fucking hate them? What do you hate about them?
- 32:08Speaker 2: Everything?
- 32:09Speaker 3: I hate Patrick Mahomes, I hate Travis Kelce is so bad.
- 32:13Speaker 3: I hate that people try and compare Travis Kelce to Gronk.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Gronk was good at the end of his career. It
- 32:19Speaker 3: was still good.
- 32:20Speaker 2: I think Travis Kelsey's playing pretty well, you do.
- 32:25Speaker 3: He lost like, he dropped like two touchdown passes this week,
- 32:28Speaker 3: and he's had drops all the last fucking since he's
- 32:30Speaker 3: been dating Taylor Swift.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Yeah, she has made him worse.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Yeah, And Taylor swift swag surfing made me want to
- 32:36Speaker 3: throw up.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Do you think that her coat was cool? No? You
- 32:42Speaker 2: didn't like it?
- 32:43Speaker 7: Now?
- 32:43Speaker 2: I hated it?
- 32:44Speaker 3: Why too boxy? It was a box It reminded me
- 32:51Speaker 3: of one of those coats that I would wear when
- 32:52Speaker 3: I was a child that like when Mike my mom
- 32:54Speaker 3: would like get me a coat and you just get
- 32:57Speaker 3: like a like a like a north Face puffer jacket,
- 33:00Speaker 3: but back before they were like cool, back before they
- 33:02Speaker 3: were like nine hundred dollars, it would be like some
- 33:04Speaker 3: like Columbia ripoff brand, and it would just be like
- 33:08Speaker 3: you'd look like the kid from fucking uh Elf. Remember
- 33:12Speaker 3: the scene in Elf where the kid puts on the
- 33:13Speaker 3: jacket and he's just a fucking square and it's so
- 33:17Speaker 3: outrageously big. That's what her jacket looked like. I think
- 33:20Speaker 3: the design was cool. I actually watched some of those
- 33:23Speaker 3: that girl that made it, I watched some of her videos.
- 33:25Speaker 3: I watched that she's good at what she does. That
- 33:27Speaker 3: girls good, but I don't. I wasn't a fan of
- 33:30Speaker 3: the jacket. But I also because I don't like the chiefs,
- 33:33Speaker 3: So the jacket disgusted me. I wanted to go and
- 33:35Speaker 3: then pull the feathers out of it right and deflate her.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Was it a combined jacket of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelma,
- 33:43Speaker 2: So I.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Think she made one, probably for Brittany Mahomes as well.
- 33:46Speaker 3: If I had to guess.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Oh, what is swag surfing, I don't know.
- 33:53Speaker 3: I'd never heard of it before until I saw Taylor
- 33:55Speaker 3: Swift doing that outrageous dance and then I apparently moving
- 33:59Speaker 3: back and forth. It turns out I think it's a
- 34:01Speaker 3: chiefs thing.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Oh freaks. Do you think they'll get married? Yes?
- 34:08Speaker 3: Wow, yeah, and then that'll probably last for a week.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Why because celebrities never stay married?
- 34:14Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 34:15Speaker 3: People thought Kim Kardashian and Kanye were gonna stay married forever?
- 34:19Speaker 2: Who thought that? Everybody?
- 34:20Speaker 3: I didn't because they were like the perfect match. They
- 34:23Speaker 3: were both nuts. And then now look at them, Well,
- 34:27Speaker 3: they were together for a while, they were together for
- 34:29Speaker 3: a long time. But no, I don't think. I don't
- 34:31Speaker 3: think Travis Kelcey and I mean they've been dating for
- 34:33Speaker 3: what like three months?
- 34:36Speaker 2: Yeah, probably something like that, and people.
- 34:37Speaker 3: Are like, they're gonna get married soon. That's the that's
- 34:40Speaker 3: the general thought. What Yeah, because I think he moved
- 34:44Speaker 3: in with her or she moved in with him?
- 34:46Speaker 2: Shut up? Yeah, is that right?
- 34:49Speaker 3: But I mean also moving.
- 34:50Speaker 2: In for them?
- 34:51Speaker 3: What is that they see each other once a week
- 34:53Speaker 3: at best? I mean she's in fucking all across the
- 34:57Speaker 3: world every single day and he's traveling weekly for football. Right,
- 35:00Speaker 3: he'll probably retire this year?
- 35:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 35:04Speaker 3: Why well that he said. Someone asked him if he
- 35:06Speaker 3: if he thought about retiring, and he said it's the
- 35:08Speaker 3: only thing he thinks about. He said he's in constant
- 35:11Speaker 3: pain from injuries and surgeries throughout.
- 35:14Speaker 2: How I feel from pickleball.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that'll do it, dude. Pickleball and NFL playoff football
- 35:19Speaker 3: are very similar. I just can't.
- 35:22Speaker 2: I can't stop going as hard as I possibly can.
- 35:26Speaker 3: No, dude, that's the problem with pickleball.
- 35:28Speaker 2: I got one speed.
- 35:29Speaker 3: It brings out the fucking animal.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I think we're going down to have fun, and when
- 35:33Speaker 2: in two points, I'm fucking diving for shit. You see
- 35:37Speaker 2: this scab on my elbow? Yeah, right there. You took
- 35:40Speaker 2: a dive a dove for a ball. That's insane. Don't
- 35:42Speaker 2: do that. Then I got so mad that I smashed
- 35:45Speaker 2: my paddle on the ground.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Oh you're one of those guys.
- 35:48Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 35:49Speaker 3: That's crazy. And you were sick and hungover. He must
- 35:51Speaker 3: look like a lunatic, just sweating more than anyone's ever sweat.
- 35:57Speaker 3: You must have had buckets of sweat coming off doing well,
- 36:00Speaker 3: smashing rackets.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I smashed my paddle.
- 36:03Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 36:04Speaker 2: And then the people I was playing against thought it
- 36:06Speaker 2: was one that I had borrowed from the club, and
- 36:08Speaker 2: they were like, that's not yours. To smash it is.
- 36:13Speaker 2: I brought my own paddle. All smash it if I want.
- 36:18Speaker 2: By the way, who doesn't bring their own paddle.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Are the people that are renting them from the fucking club.
- 36:24Speaker 2: You know what, none of us had.
- 36:26Speaker 3: It was a silly assumption that's the club's paddle. I
- 36:29Speaker 3: was fucking I was playing well enough that they should
- 36:33Speaker 3: have known that this was an hour Yeah, exactly, a
- 36:37Speaker 3: bunch of charging them ship.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I almost threw my paddle at them.
- 36:41Speaker 3: I would have charged, not not. I wouldn't have actually
- 36:44Speaker 3: physically attacked. But sometimes all you gotta do is charge.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Let's put it this way. When the game ended and
- 36:49Speaker 2: we went to touch paddles, good game, good game.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Your paddle was dangling.
- 36:54Speaker 2: I turned my paddle around and touched it.
- 36:56Speaker 3: But to paddle, yeah, yeah, because you don't want to
- 36:59Speaker 3: give any splinter. Is it a wooden paddle, It's not fiberglass. Fiberglass.
- 37:08Speaker 3: I'm such a fucking class brick.

- 39:35Speaker 2: Coffee yeah.
- 39:36Speaker 3: I think I'll get back in the gym here sometime soon.
- 39:39Speaker 2: I have to.
- 39:39Speaker 3: I mean, I got when I go to Wyoming in
- 39:41Speaker 3: a couple of months, or not a couple months, in
- 39:43Speaker 3: like eight months for this catching cook where it's a
- 39:45Speaker 3: fourteen mile hike, I got to get in shape for that.
- 39:48Speaker 2: I can't. I would not be.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Able to do that right now.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Fourteen miles is a fucking.
- 39:52Speaker 3: It's I will say, it's not a high altitude. It's
- 39:53Speaker 3: only a fifteen hundred incline. Fine, that is a long
- 39:58Speaker 3: it's a long long hikes.
- 40:00Speaker 2: What is that's eight hours? Probably seven something like that.
- 40:05Speaker 2: I don't that's crazy.
- 40:06Speaker 3: But we're going to be stopping and like fishing throughout
- 40:09Speaker 3: the entire thing, so we'll probably get there early as fuck.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Fourteen miles is like what the type of distance that
- 40:16Speaker 2: you hear that oppressive armies forced their prisoners to march.
- 40:22Speaker 2: That's pretty popular.
- 40:23Speaker 3: That's a pretty popular amount in the hiking world. On
- 40:26Speaker 3: death mark fourteen that's what they call it. They call
- 40:28Speaker 3: them fourteen ers.
- 40:29Speaker 2: No, that has to do with the peaks. Oh that's the.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Altitude, yes, not the distance fourteen thousand meters. Interesting is
- 40:38Speaker 3: what they're hiking. Well, we're doing a fourteen er miles.
- 40:44Speaker 2: That's not a thing.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Well is that better or worse? Is that more or
- 40:48Speaker 3: less then than a fourteen mile? So what the peak is?
- 40:52Speaker 2: Fourteen mile?
- 40:55Speaker 3: Yes, I get insanely high. There's only seven in the world,
- 40:59Speaker 3: I think. Okay, First of all, there's no such thing
- 41:02Speaker 3: as a fourteen thousand meter high mountain. That does not exist.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Everest is like eight thousand something. There's only there's only
- 41:12Speaker 3: seven peaks above eight thousand meters. I don't have your phone,
- 41:16Speaker 3: but I'm give me your phone.
- 41:18Speaker 2: I'll google it.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Right now, Harold. So let's ask Siri, Siri, how high
- 41:23Speaker 3: is Mount Everest?
- 41:25Speaker 2: Twenty eight thousand feet?
- 41:28Speaker 3: It's twenty nine thousand feet.
- 41:31Speaker 2: How many meters? Siri?
- 41:35Speaker 3: How many meters is Mount Everest? The height of the
- 41:40Speaker 3: mountains of twenty Why are you doing? Why are you
- 41:45Speaker 3: doing a victory pose like you just won that arguing
- 41:48Speaker 3: go at fourteen thousand meters? What is the fourteen ers
- 41:52Speaker 3: that I'm thinking of? I think it's it must maybe
- 41:55Speaker 3: it's feet. Maybe it's like altitude game now because it
- 41:58Speaker 3: wouldn't be. Yeah, fourteen fourteen thousand meters doesn't exist. There's
- 42:04Speaker 3: only seven. There's only seven mountains on Earth that are
- 42:07Speaker 3: above eight thousand meters?
- 42:08Speaker 2: Have you seen?
- 42:09Speaker 3: Have you not seen eight peaks or seven peaks?
- 42:11Speaker 2: Whatever it's called. What are the fourteen ers?
- 42:15Speaker 3: I can't believe.
- 42:15Speaker 2: I just bossed up on you, like, what are the
- 42:17Speaker 2: fourteen ers? Dude? Is it?
- 42:21Speaker 3: We'll give it a Google. What is is a fourteen er?
- 42:28Speaker 2: You don't trust Siri for that?
- 42:31Speaker 3: What are fourteen ers? It's fourteen thousand feet, but that's
- 42:38Speaker 3: like nothing fourteen thousand feet?
- 42:43Speaker 2: Yea, Yeah, there's ski mountains that are not that far
- 42:46Speaker 2: off from that, Ski mountains that are eleven thousand feet,
- 42:49Speaker 2: twelve thousand feet.
- 42:50Speaker 3: A mountain that has a summit over fourteen thousand feet?
- 42:53Speaker 3: No small feet when it comes to hiking. Damn, all right, fine,
- 42:58Speaker 3: I think that is a lot higher than you think
- 42:59Speaker 3: it is. I think I've done I've done like ten
- 43:03Speaker 3: thousand feet and that was.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Hardest shit you've hiked to the top. Yeah.
- 43:09Speaker 3: I've done some hikes out west. I've done some hikes
- 43:11Speaker 3: in Wyoming, Colorado. I've done some hikes south east. I've
- 43:14Speaker 3: done Mount Mansfield, I've done Cammel's Hump. Speaking of cold,

- 46:29Speaker 3: doing one show is the best.
- 46:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna be doing.
- 46:32Speaker 3: A Thursday one show and then just going back to
- 46:34Speaker 3: your hotel room and being like, I'm done.
- 46:36Speaker 2: That's a nice that's a nice. Now it's the best.
- 46:38Speaker 2: That's a good feeling. It's a great feeling. You think
- 46:40Speaker 2: we should go skiing while we're out there? Totally?
- 46:45Speaker 3: All right, I'm definitely down. I'm down to go skiing,
- 46:47Speaker 3: down to go fishing, down to do whatever.
- 46:48Speaker 2: All right, let's see it.
- 46:49Speaker 3: I'm gonna be going remember, be hanging out with my
- 46:51Speaker 3: boys out there. I hope you know that, can I
- 46:53Speaker 3: of course?
- 46:54Speaker 2: Really, I was expecting you to say, no.
- 46:57Speaker 3: We'll find some time for you to mix in and
- 46:58Speaker 3: I'll be.
- 47:00Speaker 2: I'll be leading a charge.
- 47:02Speaker 3: My buddy Bo was like, are you staying with me?
- 47:04Speaker 3: And I was like, no, I'm gonna have a hotel.
- 47:06Speaker 3: He's like, why don't you just stay at my place?
- 47:08Speaker 3: And I was like, cause I'm gonna have a hotel
- 47:10Speaker 3: and i won't have to sleep on a couch. I'm
- 47:14Speaker 3: probably gonna end up staying at his place.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Really, yeah, you guys do that. You're like this, Yes,
- 47:19Speaker 2: you're gonna even though you have a hotel, you'd rather
- 47:23Speaker 2: spend the night at his home. Yeah, watch some movies,
- 47:25Speaker 2: spend the night with that. Yeah.
- 47:27Speaker 3: Yeah, just so I'm stoked, dude. That's been the goal
- 47:31Speaker 3: the whole time, is to do comedy in Denver.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:34Speaker 3: Really, I've always wanted to do that. Yeah, because I
- 47:36Speaker 3: wanted to move to Denver for a while.
- 47:38Speaker 2: I remember that.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Now we're finally gonna get to do comedy there. We
- 47:40Speaker 3: went through a little bit of a phase. Yeah, so
- 47:43Speaker 3: nice phase. Clan such a fun city, it's the best. Yeah,
- 47:47Speaker 3: maybe we should move out there.
- 47:50Speaker 2: What will we do?
- 47:52Speaker 3: Live in Denver and do Son of a Boy Dad
- 47:56Speaker 3: from Denver. That's the dream that it is the dream,
- 48:00Speaker 3: But we get then we'd lose all our spots. The
- 48:02Speaker 3: cellar in the stand bro.
- 48:04Speaker 2: True call the worst seller is just booking me way
- 48:06Speaker 2: too much. Lately, they're not putting me too much.
- 48:13Speaker 3: I had a lot of spots this weekend. They were
- 48:15Speaker 3: all fun, fun shows, midnight shows. Just putting on a clinic. Yeah,
- 48:21Speaker 3: now just fucking running it up, just putting on a
- 48:24Speaker 3: fucking clinic.
- 48:26Speaker 2: I'm trying to think if I have any I haven't
- 48:28Speaker 2: been performing all that much. I've just been doing spots,
- 48:30Speaker 2: but I haven't done Uh, I don't have Normally, I
- 48:32Speaker 2: have good, funny, interesting stories for you dude, me too.
- 48:36Speaker 3: I feel like I've always got a lot. I mean,
- 48:37Speaker 3: I thought my fly fishing story was pretty solid, good
- 48:39Speaker 3: way to started out, but after that, I don't have much.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Has been fine.
- 48:43Speaker 3: I think this has been good. I've been having fun.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Should we call it? Does that sign up a boy? Dad?
- 48:47Speaker 4: No?
- 48:47Speaker 3: We got fifteen minutes left. Brother, Oh, we've been going
- 48:49Speaker 3: for We fairly talked ball though. All right, let's talk
- 48:52Speaker 3: to some so let's talk ball for fifteen and then
- 48:54Speaker 3: we'll put this to raps and then Rome will be
- 48:56Speaker 3: back on Wednesday to carry the podcast.
- 48:58Speaker 2: There. That's what we need and normally I'll be much
- 49:02Speaker 2: better than I am today. I have a fever of
- 49:04Speaker 2: one hundred and two points.
- 49:05Speaker 3: France has a fever one hundred and two. And I
- 49:07Speaker 3: have been playing so much Call of Duty that my
- 49:09Speaker 3: brain cells are literally falling out of my ear lobes
- 49:14Speaker 3: are my ear holes?
- 49:17Speaker 2: All right? Way, we got so let's ball.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Let's do a little review ers might win the Super Bowl.
- 49:25Speaker 3: The Texans are okay. I don't think there are anything
- 49:27Speaker 3: too good.
- 49:28Speaker 2: Who throws a better ball? Jordan Love or Jared Goff?
- 49:32Speaker 2: Jordan Love, Jared Goff was throwing some ball last night.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Jared Goff didn't look good in the end.
- 49:40Speaker 2: He but his first Dude. The first half, he was
- 49:44Speaker 2: fitting balls into tight corners. He was throwing it like
- 49:51Speaker 2: a gazelle. He just looked like a seven foot tall.
- 49:54Speaker 3: Yeah, Jared Goff is good. I mean, dude, I was
- 49:56Speaker 3: rooting for the Lions. I wanted that was awesome. That
- 49:58Speaker 3: the last final they want to play game. But uh,
- 50:01Speaker 3: I don't know. I think the Lions are good. I
- 50:03Speaker 3: would like to see the Lions go far. I think
- 50:06Speaker 3: the teams I would like to see go far. Right now,
- 50:08Speaker 3: the Bills obviously number one. I would be fine with
- 50:12Speaker 3: the Packers winning the Super Bowl, or the Lions winning
- 50:15Speaker 3: the Super Bowl, or the Ravens winning the Super Bowl.
- 50:19Speaker 3: What I would like to see the Eagles win the
- 50:21Speaker 3: Super Bowl. If it means that the Chiefs didn't win
- 50:26Speaker 3: the super Bowl, yes, pretty much. I would be fine
- 50:28Speaker 3: with any team aside for the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl.
- 50:32Speaker 3: If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, I might like never.
- 50:35Speaker 2: I don't know. All right, So you're number rank them
- 50:37Speaker 2: your number one super Bowl winner? That makes you happy?
- 50:40Speaker 2: The Bills, Bills is number one, number two Lions.
- 50:45Speaker 3: I don't know if I would say, I mean that's
- 50:46Speaker 3: kind of a no. No, not realistically. No, I have
- 50:50Speaker 3: liked the Lions all year. I've enjoyed watching the Lions
- 50:53Speaker 3: all year.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Yep. I think they have a good team. But your
- 50:56Speaker 2: number two team that makes you happy to win the
- 51:00Speaker 2: Super Ball, They's just gonna.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Make you the happy the Lions. I don't know, probably
- 51:04Speaker 3: the Lions, but it's by such a far drop off.
- 51:07Speaker 2: That's okay. We're just we need to get some kind
- 51:09Speaker 2: of an order to the hat the Harry's happiness order.
- 51:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I would like see the Lions when like watching
- 51:14Speaker 3: the Packers yesterday. Yeah, I'd like to pers three happiness, Yeah,
- 51:18Speaker 3: I like, I like written for the underdogs.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Okay. Number four happiness is Baltimore Ravens. Yes, okay. Number
- 51:25Speaker 2: five happiness is the forty nine Ers, the forty nine ers. Interesting.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Number six happiness the Eagles.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Eagles are six yeah behind the Niners. Yes, and number
- 51:42Speaker 3: seven happiness. But I'm also thinking realistically here on who
- 51:45Speaker 3: I can place any time touchdown scores on and have
- 51:47Speaker 3: to be hit right like Jamar Gibbs walk.
- 51:53Speaker 2: Should I stay for the for the games and we
- 51:55Speaker 2: watched ball here together?
- 51:57Speaker 3: You could if you want. I don't think I'm gonna
- 51:59Speaker 3: play videos as soon as you leave.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Though, I need to lie down, close my eyes.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Yeah, uh yeah, so I think. I mean, I don't know.
- 52:07Speaker 3: I think next week is going to be the game. Dude,
- 52:09Speaker 3: it's going to be Chiefs Bills. It's going to be
- 52:11Speaker 3: a hell of game. I mean, assuming that the Bills.
- 52:13Speaker 3: While this has come out, I'm assuming the Bills did
- 52:15Speaker 3: beat the Steelers, right, I don't think that's a crazy assumption.
- 52:19Speaker 2: No, I don't think so either. Yeah.
- 52:23Speaker 3: Yeah, And the Steelers have their backup quarter like their
- 52:26Speaker 3: third string quarterback playing Mason Rudolph. Yeah, he's third string, right.
- 52:31Speaker 2: I don't know who's their number one? Pickens? Oh, Kenny,
- 52:39Speaker 2: I don't know Kenny Pickens. Is that his name? I
- 52:41Speaker 2: have no idea. I think that's their like a country
- 52:44Speaker 2: saying I know it does.
- 52:45Speaker 3: Why I was headed in to say yes, I was
- 52:48Speaker 3: trying to think if I knew every quarterback from every team,
- 52:50Speaker 3: and then I realized I don't know the quarterback for
- 52:52Speaker 3: the Raiders.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Uh yeah, I don't know. Was Jimmy?
- 53:01Speaker 3: What do you get hurt?
- 53:02Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 53:04Speaker 3: It might still be Jimmy Garoppolo. Oh, Bill Belichick's gone.
- 53:07Speaker 3: That's something that's late. That's old news. It is old news.
- 53:11Speaker 3: But it was a tear jerker for sure.
- 53:12Speaker 2: No, it wasn't. It was. It was very sad.
- 53:15Speaker 3: Really yeah, the press conference was sad.
- 53:18Speaker 2: I didn't see it.
- 53:19Speaker 3: He almost cried, did he? Yeah, when he was talking
- 53:22Speaker 3: about the fans. Wow.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Nope. When was the last time you cried? Oh?
- 53:30Speaker 3: After I watched Interstellar a couple months ago. Really yeah,
- 53:35Speaker 3: But it was also because my grandfather died like the
- 53:37Speaker 3: same day. Oh what about? It was actually, no, my
- 53:41Speaker 3: grandfather was going to die, and I watched Interstellar in
- 53:46Speaker 3: the combination of those two things, and I had heard
- 53:49Speaker 3: to a spot and I didn't want to do a spot.
- 53:51Speaker 3: It was a combination of all that.
- 53:53Speaker 2: What about? What about? Uh, I'm not talking about teeries
- 54:00Speaker 2: years kind of coming out of your eyes. I'm talking
- 54:02Speaker 2: about like full blown sobbing. Yeah.
- 54:04Speaker 3: Then really, Oh yeah, when I cry, it's a fucking
- 54:07Speaker 3: it's the waterworks are flowing. Because I never cry.
- 54:15Speaker 2: I was worried that my neighbors were ready to hear
- 54:16Speaker 2: me cry that kind of thing.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Really, yeah, but it's fair. Last time I cried before that,
- 54:23Speaker 3: I don't know, probably like two years ago. And then
- 54:26Speaker 3: the last time I cried before that when I went
- 54:28Speaker 3: to college. It was like every day just standing in my.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Room just.
- 54:37Speaker 3: I hated college for the first like month.
- 54:40Speaker 2: I The last time I fully hard cried was freshman
- 54:45Speaker 2: year of college after a lacrosse practice.
- 54:48Speaker 3: Really or was it just a you they were they
- 54:52Speaker 3: know it was a practice. I cried at lacrosse practice
- 54:55Speaker 3: to defence. Didn't think that. It was always like this
- 55:00Speaker 3: was what was always so crazy to me. We practiced
- 55:04Speaker 3: whatever five days a week, and it was always the
- 55:09Speaker 3: defense versus the offense and all the drills pretty much,
- 55:13Speaker 3: and so for five of the six days of the week,
- 55:19Speaker 3: your opponent was your own teammates. And thus I would
- 55:24Speaker 3: say I hated the defense on our team more than
- 55:29Speaker 3: I hated any of the other teams we played. There
- 55:32Speaker 3: was a brawl.
- 55:32Speaker 2: We had fights all the time, and people would just
- 55:35Speaker 2: beat the shit out of each other, and like the
- 55:38Speaker 2: defense and the cross that we couldn't do anything. Yeah,
- 55:42Speaker 2: we had the ball, so they would just hit us
- 55:44Speaker 2: with their sticks. It hurt us, break fingers like tattoo
- 55:48Speaker 2: us leave that perfect outline of the head right in
- 55:52Speaker 2: between the pads on the skin.
- 55:54Speaker 3: That's why I played across for like two years and
- 55:56Speaker 3: I quit after that. I was like, this sucks, hurtain stung,
- 55:58Speaker 3: and there was nothing we could do.
- 55:59Speaker 2: The only thing we could do was when we were
- 56:04Speaker 2: like in a man up drill or a shooting drill,
- 56:08Speaker 2: try to hit them with a shot. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 56:11Speaker 2: And we never did that because that would have been obvious.
- 56:14Speaker 2: And two, you can actually like kill someone, kill someone. Yeah,
- 56:17Speaker 2: So we didn't really do that, but I dreamt of
- 56:20Speaker 2: doing it because they would just do this. And and
- 56:23Speaker 2: my freshman year, the older guys on the team, they
- 56:27Speaker 2: didn't think that I was trying hard enough, and they
- 56:29Speaker 2: wanted to motivate me by like bullying me, and they
- 56:35Speaker 2: would just abuse me in practice. They would hurt, you know,
- 56:38Speaker 2: hit me with their sticks as hard as they could.
- 56:40Speaker 2: And I had had enough and I after one practice,
- 56:44Speaker 2: I was just like, I don't understand why. I went
- 56:48Speaker 2: into the coach's office and I was like, I can't
- 56:50Speaker 2: do this anymore.
- 56:51Speaker 3: Yeah, was this college or college?
- 56:54Speaker 2: And he goes, well, don't you want to win a
- 56:56Speaker 2: national championship? And I go, no, that's not why I
- 57:00Speaker 2: came here, because Harvard were you I came into a
- 57:06Speaker 2: five hundred program and had been five hundred or worse
- 57:10Speaker 2: for like twenty years, and this coach had just come
- 57:14Speaker 2: in and he had grand aspirations of building a championship,
- 57:17Speaker 2: being a national champion. And he's since coached it now
- 57:20Speaker 2: he coaches at Maryland and he's won like three of them.
- 57:24Speaker 2: But he came in thinking he was going to turn
- 57:26Speaker 2: the program around. And I don't think he was aware
- 57:28Speaker 2: of the type of people he was inheriting, yah, because
- 57:31Speaker 2: he met me and he was like, well, they're trying
- 57:33Speaker 2: to motivate you, don't you They want to make you better,
- 57:35Speaker 2: They see your potential. Don't you want to win a
- 57:37Speaker 2: national championship? And I just said no, So did you quit? Uh? Not?
- 57:43Speaker 2: That year? Didn't play all four years? Did I played
- 57:46Speaker 2: all freshman year? That that practice happened? And then we
- 57:50Speaker 2: played Princeton that weekend, and like I had, basically I
- 57:55Speaker 2: guess I had. I was breaking down crying at the game, no,
- 57:59Speaker 2: in the practice, at the coaches of us. And then
- 58:03Speaker 2: that Saturday we played Princeton in Harvard Stadium, which is
- 58:07Speaker 2: the oldest city.
- 58:08Speaker 3: I said, fucking concrete one and.
- 58:09Speaker 2: We were playing their goalie was guided. Alex Hewitt was
- 58:12Speaker 2: the first team All American best goal in the country.
- 58:14Speaker 2: And I scored two goals, but we lost in overtime.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Because we lost so many games that Yeah, but we
- 58:21Speaker 3: should have beaten them. We were up eighty seven with
- 58:23Speaker 3: a minute.
- 58:24Speaker 2: But if you scored two goals, you did your job.
- 58:26Speaker 2: I went beyond yeah job. I think I was Ivy
- 58:29Speaker 2: League Rookie of the Week. Anyway, Then I played another year.
- 58:37Speaker 2: I played all the rest of the season. Then my
- 58:39Speaker 2: sophomore year, I played all through the fall, the offseason,
- 58:42Speaker 2: and then into the and then we played.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Duke in our what was that thirty to zero.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Second season of the game, second game of the season,
- 58:50Speaker 2: and maybe it was our season opener at Duke and
- 58:52Speaker 2: we beat them. Oh shit, we upset Duke. That's awesome.
- 58:55Speaker 2: They had won the national championship the year before, I think,
- 58:58Speaker 2: and they were they were supposed to beat us twenty
- 59:00Speaker 2: and we upset them. And then I quit that night.
- 59:03Speaker 2: Really it was so miserable. No, it just was like
- 59:07Speaker 2: I can't. I knew going into that game. If we
- 59:12Speaker 2: win and it doesn't remotivate me to play, then I
- 59:17Speaker 2: should not be doing this. Yeah, because and we won
- 59:20Speaker 2: the game. There was a big pig pile our team,
- 59:23Speaker 2: and I remember crawling out from the bottom of the
- 59:26Speaker 2: big pile walking across the field to the bus, knowing
- 59:29Speaker 2: I was done.
- 59:31Speaker 3: Yeah, And I mean, dude, I think that's pretty common.
- 59:33Speaker 3: I think a lot of people quit sports when they
- 59:34Speaker 3: go to college because I think it's like so much
- 59:36Speaker 3: more intense than they're expecting.
- 59:37Speaker 2: It to be. It wasn't even I had planned to
- 59:39Speaker 2: play for the coach who had recruited me. Yeah, and
- 59:42Speaker 2: then they fired. He'd been there for twenty years. Yeah,
- 59:46Speaker 2: and he was a very low key guy who like
- 59:48Speaker 2: basically said, we're probably not going to win much, but
- 59:51Speaker 2: we want to make good people out of you, and yeah,
- 59:53Speaker 2: give you a good balanced college experience, and they let
- 59:58Speaker 2: the alums were tired of team being mediocre, and they said,
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: we don't want to keep funding this program if the
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: team doesn't get better, and so they kicked him out.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: And then they hired the guy who had been the
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: assistant at the Naval Academy for a decade. That's who
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: came in, John Tilman, And all of a sudden, I
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: was playing. That happened in the summer before my freshman year. Yeah,
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: so I went to play for John Tilman and it
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: was a nightmare. And then well, shout out John Tillman.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: I quit the lacrosse team for one week, I drank NonStop,
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: and then I walked onto the soccer team. Oh wow,
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: And I played soccer. Why why would you do that?
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Because I'd been recruited for both sports, but and I
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: wanted to play both sports, but Tillman said I had
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: to choose one or the other. And so then I
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: went and played soccer, and then junior year I went abroad,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: didn't play anything. Senior year, they let Tilman go and
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: he went to Maryland. And then they hired back. The
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: assistant who had been the assistant under the original coach
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: recruited me and he asked me to come back and play.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: So I went and played lacrosse again that senior year.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: I didn't know you could do that. I didn't know
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: you could like leave and come back.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: I mean it was a huge mistake. Yeah. I actually
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: never have done it now because at that point I
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: was SI year. I don't do anything loving school like
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: I would have done the lampoon and all that shit. Yeah,
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: and I didn't because of the lacrosse and it was
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: a mistake. Yeah, that sucks. That's terrible. There's a big
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: alumni dinner on Thursday night and the coach of the
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: team this year, the current coach texted me and asked
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: me to ask me to come. Are you going to go?
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: I'm not sure. I don't know if I see the point.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: That might be your first time crying.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: It's not really my people, hairball, Yeah, those are masters
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: of the universe. Yeah, the Harvard lacrosse alumni. It's like
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: the whitest thing of all crazy money.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: And they have perfect children, and their kids are in privacy,
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: the kid that they drive range rovers and they're on
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: school boards and boards of museums.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: It's like the brother from Step Brothers.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: It's doctors, lawyers, and bankers. Yeah. And I'm a fucking
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: comedian who's been nationally disgraced for mocking a dead girl.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: That's true. And I you know, I make a fifteenth
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: of the money that the lowest income earner among them makes.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: And I show up and they're like, tell us a
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: dick joke, you know what I mean, that's not really my.
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, you're a clown, your jester. You got to
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: do your little dance for the Harvard lacrosse team.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: But I love my life and I love this job,
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: and I'm happy with where we're at me as well,
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: And I don't know that that world would be better
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: for me at all, nor do I know if I
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: ever would have succeeded in that world.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: Now it's tough to do, all right, Well, we'll end
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: on that.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: I've never told you things that were less interesting to
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: you than.
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: There's not really much I can say about it. I
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: don't relate to it in anyway. I sucked at every
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: single sport that I played, and I was probably one
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: of the most people to ever go through.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: A Massachusetts school system. I just did a seven year
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: biography of my life.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: Yeah, it was very interesting. I didn't know any of
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: that stuff. It was a very dramatic time. Yeah, I'm
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: sure the time before that that I cried, because that
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: was the last time I really cried the freshman year
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: of college, which was two thousand and seven. Yeah, so
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: fifteen years ago was seventh grade when mister Dubuque told
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: me to stop shooting the basketballs as the kids were
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: walking to the school buses. Yeah, because the basketball hoop
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: was kind of near the line where the kids would
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: line up, but I didn't really hear him, and I
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: took another shot, and then he grabbed me by the
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: arm and dragged me across the playground to go to
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: Bob Bobble his office and get me in trouble. Yeah,
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: and I thought it was abuse and I was. I
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: was crying because he was dragging me a grown man,
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: a teacher. I used to go to this thing called Leo's.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: It was a hockey skating program, and my parents would
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: make me go there if I was misbehaving because it
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: was just intense skating. There was no pucks, just skating
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: for hours. It's just conditioning, yes, or technique, it was
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: just conditioning, and it was just you would just do
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: suicides for an hour. God damn as hell, and h knowing.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: When you had a practice or something that all you
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: were going to do was conditioning was the fucking worst. Dude.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: This guy has been making these, uh, these reels where
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: you're just being punished. Yeah, like knowing they're like, don't know,
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: sticks and gloves, like have you seen this guy and
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: we're punishing you?
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Like we would show up to the weight room
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: every once in a while, and someone would be so
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: drunk from the night before that you could smell booze.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: And when that happened, we would go out to Jordan
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: Field and it'd be twelve degrees and we would condition
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: for an hour. Wait.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: There, there's this guy that's been doing these there's been
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: doing these uh reels and they're fucking It's like of
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: hockey coaches. Of the assistant coach coming out and he's like,
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: hope you boys didn't have a lot of hope. He goes,
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: didn't have a big dinner last night? Oh my no god, no, pups. Yeah,
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: get the trash cans. Yeah, a few trash cans.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Find this. This is this was what it was. It
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: was a question of, like we knew that there were
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: always a few guys that puked. Fuck with one guys
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: pissed his pants.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: This is Tom Stewart.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: Oh, going out a big meal tonight. See a big
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: meal tonight?
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: Say what was you by?
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: Are you guys? I get stretching before coach comes out
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: here showing me guys were doing something here. Make sure
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: we're saying your lunture. Boys.
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: I want to put the watch out there.
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: It's bad.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: In a while, I sure we're hitting the name too.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: We're taking shots here last side.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Now, I'll canna be smiling in a few minutes. You
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: guys need a big meal. Yeah, I'm just like all
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: of this is bringing back trauma. My wife asked me.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: I told her the other day. I was like, man,
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: I'm kind of bummed out that I'm not really going
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: to the gym as often as I used to and
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: that I'm having a hard time finding the time for it.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: And she's like, well, you got to start working out
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: in the mornings. That's the only time when you have
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: real control over it. I said, I will never work
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: out in the morning again. Yeah. The trauma from college
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: of waking up at six in the morning to get
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: down across the river at six point thirty, yeah, and
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: just lift in condition for an hour and a half
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: before class. I'll never do it again. Dude.
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: I never played like high level sports like that, but
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: like the amount of the amount of trauma that went
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: that way through not just me and my older sister
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: from playing hockey, but also like my parents, my younger
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: sisters have never played sports. I never will play sports
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: because my parents are like, we don't want it. We're
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: not doing this again. They're like, it was so bad, Like, dude,
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: So it wasn't just bad for me, it was bad
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: for everyone involved and my extended family.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: It was bad for them too. I'm trying to think
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: of what the reward is.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: Well, I get like if you're good, but it was
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: like I was never good. So it was always like
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: and when you play hockey, when you play hockey when
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: you're young, they can't get ice time. So we'll be
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: like I'm from like where I live, we'd be playing
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: somewhere an hour away at five in the morning. Yeah,
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: on a Saturday.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: Bro, I'm thinking about. The crazy thing for me is
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: in college, right, all all the Division one programs practiced
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: and prepped roughly the same way. Yeah, so a team
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: like holy Cross it was the worst Canecious Quinnipiac. Yeah,
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: we would always have these games on our schedule. We
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: were middle of the road team and we would beat
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: the shit out of those teams. But those kids, we're
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: doing this same conditioning sessions and prepping all fall and
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: all winner the same way.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: We were probably thinking like, this is the year we've
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: been running harder, we've been lifting harder, yeah, faster, And
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: then they would they would go through the same level
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: of shit only to be a one and ten team.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: The way I see it from like college is like
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: you're just there's just better teams. It's recruiting. Yeah, it's
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: all to better players exactly. Yeah, it's like that's.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: Why Alabama's always been the best football. It is just
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: which team gets the best players.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: And like Colorado can train as much as they want
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: and have good coaches, Alabama's just becaun I have significantly
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: better players every year.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: There are a few exceptions. I think that there were
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: some teams that were just better coached, and like Yale
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: won the national championship one year, and yeah they I
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: don't think they had better players than Duke, but typically Duke.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: But for the for the large part, there's a massive
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: skill gap between certain teams. Yeah, we couldn't stay on
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: the field with Virginia. We just couldn't.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: And and then and it's like you go through all
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: that hell and the only real reward is is like
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: making the national tournament or winning the national championship, and
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: everything short of that is a failure. Yeah.
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: Yeah, and uh, I don't know, man, it's hard to believe.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: It's hard to believe. I just dude.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: I will say the best thing in my life was
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: coming to terms with not with knowing that I was
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: not an athletic person at a young age and being like,
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: all right, this is not gonna ever ever since you
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: play golf you have that's athletic.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: That's just because I have a good swing.
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: That's the only thing I was ever okay at. But like,
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: but like being at an age where I was in
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: like eighth grade and being like, I'm never gonna make
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: varsity for any of these sports, Like I'm just gonna
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: quit now, and my parents being like that's a good idea.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Hmmm.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: Like it was like, it's just I'm just not a
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: coordinated person.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: It must be a nice thing as your parents parents
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: to hear in a way because it saves them a
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: ton of money in time, especially hockey.
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: Yeah, well what happened was I made this. I made
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: the CE team. I was always like okay at hockey,
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: and then we got to like the hitting, checking age,
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: and I made the C team, and I was smaller
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: than a lot of kids, and also the C team
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: was a lot of kids who played football and just
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: wanted a sport to play in the off season and
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: they wanted to just hit people as hard as they could,
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: and I got like leveled by a kid that was
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: like probably like when you're that age, there are kids
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: who are literally like two feet taller than you. So
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: he was like probably a kid who was like one
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: hundred pounds heavier and like two feet taller than me,
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: and he hit me, and I slid and went head
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: first into the boards, and I got in the car.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: My mom was like, you're not playing hockey anymore.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: We just talked to the coach, You're done. But dude,
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: it was like, it's so funny because like I was
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: so young, and I started playing hockey when I was
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: probably in like second grade up until eighth grade, And
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: like I remember getting in the car after and like
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: my dad, me and my dad just sitting in complete
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: silence with like the radio on, not speaking for like
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: in the dude for like the hour and a half
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: drive home, and then like thirty minutes from home, he
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: would just turn the radio off and he would go,
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: how do you think you played today?
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: Really? Yeah?
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: And then I would be like I don't know, and
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: he'd be like, you don't know, and then it would
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: always just be like you played bad.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Damn.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: But I mean, I don't know. It was like, did
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: that did that trouble you? Did that affect your sense
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: of self? Not even a little bit.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Do you think it did and you just didn't even
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: notice it, and that it's buried under layers of an apartmentalization.
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: No, that's what I'm saying because once I, once I
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: realized that I was just bad at sports, then I
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: was like, oh shit, I have other things that I
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: care about.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: I think that those last half hours with your dad
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: affected your relationship with your dad.
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: Not even a little bit. Me and my dad have
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: a very good relationship.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: Sure, But I feel like, I don't know, maybe there's
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: a part of you that has pursued stand up comedy,
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: this very individualistic, solo driven career so as not to
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: have to face the evaluation of a parent.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: No, I don't think that's at all the case.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: Do that.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: This was when I was like fucking very young. It
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: was kind of just like, I don't know, it wasn't
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: that big of a deal. You don't think that maybe
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: throwing yourself into video games and I still tell you
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: I never enjoyed sports are so self determined. No, first
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: of all, is determined at all. It's a team game. Yeah,
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: but you're sitting here alone, but you're talking to your buddies.
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: Fine point is to team coach. There's no authority figure
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: who's gonna tell you there's a coach, but it's just
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: we run it, similar to having program for the last
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: twenty years set on gmm head coach.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: How do you think your kill streak went?
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: Now? Yeah, I mean we hold each other accountable for sure.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: Nobody's saying that though, Oh no they do.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: Mm hm. Yeah.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: One of my buddies snapped on me the other night,
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: I think because I wasn't.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: Playing told me about your dad has taught me a lot. No,
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: you're you're dude.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: That is hilarious and you're overreacting.
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: We have come a long way today, and it's.
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: Part that you're making my dad out to be a
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: villain right now because it was hilarious.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: Listen, people, I don't know what was going on with
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: your dad that made him say that. Okay, maybe he was.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: Was he a hockey player when he was young?
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: No, what was it having to wake up at four
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: in the morning on a Saturday to go watch the
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: worst hockey game of all time?
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: It could be that negative thirty degree weather. But I
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: doubt it.
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: I think that was I think that's what it was.
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: And this again, nothing against your dad, no the podcast.
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: I'm not doing a smear I'm not doing a smear campaign.
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: I know him to be a great man. I know
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: him to be a great man. And he did him
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: know he could.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: You don't even know him on him as well as
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: you do.
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: You don't know my dad.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: I know him.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: You're not doing a smear campaign.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: You know one dad, you know them. All dads have
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: in common. And the point is that your dad was
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: is a wonderful man. Yes, wonderful man. Yes, mister Settle, yes, uh,
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: there were things in his life. Say my name? All right,
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: I can't say your name for real, I don't know.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: It doesn't matter whatever, We'll leave it gitting too personal.
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: I love it.
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: All right, We're ending the podcast. We'll see you guys
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: on Wednesday. Thank you for tuning in. Good Sun of
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: a sassqatchwebsite dot com for tour tickets. Francis son of
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: a good dad. What's your today? France Franes dot com?
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: All right, goodbye,
