- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back to SEC football addiction presented by prize picks.
- 0:03Speaker 1: We're all new users who play a $ 5 lineup and
- 0:05Speaker 1: win get $ 150 in lineups. If they use code H
- 0:08Speaker 1: M a Allie peak, a peak inside Gators football. And Allie,
- 0:11Speaker 1: have you come down off of the high from Saturday
- 0:14Speaker 1: against Auburn where I've called it the most dominating four
- 0:17Speaker 1: or five point way that I've ever seen?
- 0:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I think, um, you know, you and I do a, a,
- 0:22Speaker 2: a state of the state show for Florida, Florida state, Miami.
- 0:24Speaker 2: And I'm pretty sure our cohost Danny called it the
- 0:26Speaker 2: biggest five point ass kicking he'd ever seen. Um, I
- 0:30Speaker 2: think that that's pretty accurate.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:32Speaker 3: You know, it was, it was a huge win and
- 0:35Speaker 3: now it's onto the next. I did.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I honestly thought all summer Florida would win that game.
- 0:40Speaker 2: So I feel like because I said that they were
- 0:42Speaker 2: going to, I can't get too, too high right now.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Cause you know, we're, that's what I thought was going
- 0:46Speaker 3: to happen.
- 0:47Speaker 1: No, I'm the same way. What impressed me so much
- 0:49Speaker 1: is I thought it would be tougher. I didn't think
- 0:52Speaker 1: Philo would look as good as he did. I'm never–
- 0:55Speaker 1: not never impressed. I'm never surprised when Jaden Baugh does
- 0:58Speaker 1: Jaden Baugh.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Jaden Baugh things, yeah.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I'm impressed but not surprised because he is ridiculous. So
- 1:02Speaker 1: like that part didn't surprise me. I wondered if Auburn's
- 1:05Speaker 1: offense would really get anything going and really until– garbage
- 1:09Speaker 1: time ish. They, they didn't do a lot offensively. Like
- 1:12Speaker 1: I thought, I just thought Florida had better athletes. What
- 1:14Speaker 1: impressed me the most was Aaron Philo. And I think
- 1:16Speaker 1: that's a good place to start is because we talked about,
- 1:19Speaker 1: you know, you even talked about in the off season, like,
- 1:21Speaker 1: I don't think it really matters who wins the quarterback battle.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Like everybody around him has to play better. And you know,
- 1:26Speaker 1: they're not going to ask Philo to do too much.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Not that they're asking him to do too much, but
- 1:29Speaker 1: I think he's, I think he's better than the most diehard,
- 1:34Speaker 1: you know, Kool-Aid drinking Gator fan would say, like, I
- 1:36Speaker 1: think he's been a lot better than that.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Even Yeah, you know, I did.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Florida has an embarrassment of riches at skilled positions, so
- 1:42Speaker 2: I really kind of felt like game manager.
- 1:45Speaker 3: All you need is a game manager.
- 1:46Speaker 2: And I'm not saying he's been asked to light the
- 1:48Speaker 2: world on fire, but he has complete control of that offense.
- 1:51Speaker 3: He's made some really good decisions. He plays clean.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Football, which I think is about as big an ask
- 1:57Speaker 2: as anything in some of these SEC venues. He was
- 2:00Speaker 2: And he keeps his compo. He hasn't played in the
- 2:03Speaker 2: game this big in his career. This is only his
- 2:05Speaker 2: third start for Florida, but only like his fifth start ever.
- 2:08Speaker 2: And certainly not on the road, on the planes. And
- 2:11Speaker 2: so I was so impressed with him. And I do think,
- 2:14Speaker 2: you know, I've laughed at myself. I've said all summer,
- 2:16Speaker 2: I don't really care who wins. I trust the coaching staff.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I don't think it matters who wins. I think this
- 2:21Speaker 2: is a great example of how fans don't always know
- 2:24Speaker 2: all the things and that maybe we should trust the
- 2:26Speaker 2: coaches because.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I think they were seeing this. They knew. the command
- 2:30Speaker 3: of the offense that he had.
- 2:31Speaker 2: And I think that is a huge separator and I'm
- 2:34Speaker 2: thankful that they didn't listen to me.
- 2:37Speaker 1: The, uh, yeah, the ability to go on the road
- 2:39Speaker 1: in the sec against the DJ led Dirk, DJ Durkin
- 2:42Speaker 1: led defense and perform the way that he did. Now
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'll tell you, I think the, um, you know, having
- 2:48Speaker 1: a running game, having an offensive coordinator, like having all
- 2:52Speaker 1: those things are, are what allows him to operate like
- 2:54Speaker 1: that because it's really not all on his shoulders, but
- 2:57Speaker 1: him being able to take that step that takes Florida,
- 3:00Speaker 1: in my opinion, from like a seven, eight win team,
- 3:03Speaker 1: maybe preseason. I think their Vegas total was seven and
- 3:05Speaker 1: a half. So somewhere around there to, to where, I
- 3:08Speaker 1: don't know if there's a game on this schedule and
- 3:11Speaker 1: we'll talk about Ole Miss in a second, but like,
- 3:12Speaker 1: I don't know if there's a game on this schedule
- 3:14Speaker 1: that you're just like, Oh, auto loss. Whereas in the,
- 3:16Speaker 1: in the office now, Texas is still going to be favored.
- 3:18Speaker 3: George is going to be favored, you.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Know, like, and that's fine. But like, Oklahoma doesn't quite
- 3:24Speaker 1: look as good as you thought. Now, Kentucky did go
- 3:26Speaker 1: on the road and beat A & M. So like
- 3:27Speaker 1: maybe that game's a little, you know, there's, there's ebb
- 3:29Speaker 1: and flow everywhere. But I think that, I don't think
- 3:31Speaker 1: there's a game on this schedule that you would look
- 3:33Speaker 1: at and say auto loss right now, tough games. I
- 3:36Speaker 1: would still pick Texas. Right. But like their offense, I
- 3:40Speaker 1: think can keep them in any, any game at all.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Offensive line. That was your other, that was your bigger
- 3:46Speaker 1: concern in the off season through three games. Now, finally
- 3:50Speaker 1: a game against a legitimate defense and defensive front. Thoughts
- 3:53Speaker 1: on the offensive line.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:55Speaker 2: And you know, our center Harrison Moore was sec offensive
- 3:59Speaker 2: player of the week, offensive line player of the week. Um,
- 4:02Speaker 2: the offensive line has, has done better than I expected.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I did think that coach fell trout line would get
- 4:08Speaker 2: them gelled together.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I thought that they would be serviceable. Um, I didn't
- 4:13Speaker 3: know that.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I think they, that I would think three games in
- 4:15Speaker 2: that they were playing as good as they are now.
- 4:17Speaker 2: That doesn't mean that there aren't things that could be corrected.
- 4:19Speaker 2: There was some false start penalties. There was some some
- 4:22Speaker 2: stuff that I think they'll continue to work on, but
- 4:25Speaker 2: they are doing more than enough to put this offense
- 4:29Speaker 2: in a position to be successful. And I think that
- 4:32Speaker 2: was like the bar that Florida fans were looking for. Like,
- 4:34Speaker 2: just don't be a hindrance. You know, can you, can
- 4:37Speaker 2: you play strong long enough for Jaden ball to touch
- 4:41Speaker 2: the ball, you know, Jaden bought a takeoff with the
- 4:42Speaker 2: ball or to get the ball to your wide receivers.
- 4:44Speaker 3: And they are doing more than I think where we
- 4:47Speaker 3: set the bar.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Do you, um, Looking at this Ole Miss game, we
- 4:52Speaker 1: talked about this a little just off air. Are you
- 4:55Speaker 1: surprised that it's this big of a spread? Is it
- 4:58Speaker 1: up to like three points, three and a half points now?
- 5:00Speaker 3: Three and a half points now, yeah.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Like Florida's expected to win this game.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I guess it is. I do find
- 5:07Speaker 3: that interesting.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I think that's probably a combination of Lacey being questionable.
- 5:13Speaker 2: And I interviewed somebody from Ole Miss today that told
- 5:16Speaker 2: me they would be surprised if he played. So I
- 5:18Speaker 2: think that there's a Lacey factor in there a little bit.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I would argue that Trinidad is maybe even better in
- 5:23Speaker 2: games that Lacey doesn't play in. So I don't know
- 5:26Speaker 2: how much of a positive that actually is for Florida.
- 5:29Speaker 2: But I also think there's that, you know, they always
- 5:31Speaker 2: say three, three and a half points for home field.
- 5:33Speaker 2: So I don't know, maybe Vegas is looking at it
- 5:36Speaker 2: as even then at this point because it is in Gainesville.
- 5:39Speaker 3: But I don't really know what to make of this game.
- 5:43Speaker 3: You know, I.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Florida's defense had seven sacks. They forced an interception. They
- 5:49Speaker 2: had a ton of pressures. And then they gave up
- 5:51Speaker 2: 39 points. That is the biggest enigma to me. And
- 5:55Speaker 2: I think they had PFF. They graded out as Jaden
- 5:59Speaker 2: Woods is the number one defensive lineman in the country
- 6:02Speaker 2: this week. Florida's line as a whole graded out as
- 6:04Speaker 2: the best defensive line in the country this week. Yet also,
- 6:09Speaker 2: Florida gave up 39 points. So it's so hard to
- 6:13Speaker 2: know what you've got there. And, and I think until
- 6:17Speaker 2: Auburn plays a few more games, it's also hard to
- 6:19Speaker 2: know how good the opponent you were playing was. And Eddie,
- 6:22Speaker 2: you know, I think Trinidad Chambliss is the single best
- 6:26Speaker 2: player in college football at the moment. And that's always
- 6:29Speaker 2: a scary proposition. So that's a lot of words to say.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I have no freaking idea what's going to happen this weekend.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Yeah. I, I agree with you. Like a lot of
- 6:39Speaker 1: teams you'd say, like, if we can make them one dimensional,
- 6:42Speaker 1: we have a really good chance in this game. I
- 6:44Speaker 1: don't know if that's the case with Trinidad.
- 6:45Speaker 2: LSU made Trinidad one-dimensional last week.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Lacey goes out. They don't run the ball very well.
- 6:51Speaker 1: And this guy, now I do think that's somewhat dangerous,
- 6:54Speaker 1: even for a guy like Trinidad Chambliss, because Tom Brady
- 6:56Speaker 1: and Peyton Manning had bad games, right? Like sometimes you
- 6:59Speaker 1: just get beat. I don't know that it would work
- 7:02Speaker 1: 12 straight times for Ole Miss, right? And so if
- 7:04Speaker 1: you're Florida, you're hoping, well, one of those times it
- 7:07Speaker 1: doesn't happen, please let it be this week. But at
- 7:08Speaker 1: the same time, if you're Ole Miss, you're like, man,
- 7:09Speaker 1: that's our guy and we're rolling with it. What can
- 7:12Speaker 1: Florida do? hardest question of the week in college football. Uh,
- 7:16Speaker 1: what can Florida do to slow him down to limit him?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Some like, do you play Ben don't break and just
- 7:23Speaker 1: try and take some air out of the ball? Like what,
- 7:24Speaker 1: what do you do to slow this guy down? Hey guys,
- 7:27Speaker 1: I'll get right back to the video with Allie. But first,
- 7:28Speaker 1: if you could do me a favor. make sure you
- 7:30Speaker 1: are subscribed, not just here to SEC football addiction, but
- 7:33Speaker 1: also over on our audio podcast platforms. I've seen some
- 7:37Speaker 1: of your comments. I know FSU guy talking SEC or UF,
- 7:41Speaker 1: but some of you guys have been pretty nice in
- 7:43Speaker 1: the comments. So I very much appreciate that. I'm going
- 7:45Speaker 1: to be in Knoxville. I'm going to talk with Ali
- 7:46Speaker 1: about that in just a moment in Knoxville for the
- 7:48Speaker 1: Tennessee Texas game this weekend. I'm going to jump right
- 7:51Speaker 1: back in the car and then watch you guys' game
- 7:54Speaker 1: on the iPad. I may not be able to get
- 7:55Speaker 1: a video out, but I hope to get an audio
- 7:57Speaker 1: podcast out with thoughts about that game. As soon as
- 8:00Speaker 1: it's over, hopefully for you guys, you'll be reveling in
- 8:04Speaker 1: another victory and a 4-0 start and a upset of
- 8:07Speaker 1: a top five team in the swamp. Either way, hope
- 8:10Speaker 1: to do that. Make sure you're subscribed. SEC Football Addiction
- 8:12Speaker 1: on Apple, Spotify, Spreaker, wherever you can. Make sure that
- 8:16Speaker 1: you click the link in the description so you're subscribed
- 8:18Speaker 1: there as well as here. All right, back to Allie.
- 8:20Speaker 2: So I think there is a little bit of a
- 8:24Speaker 2: recipe in that Florida-Auburn game, and I think it's control
- 8:27Speaker 2: the tempo of the game. Florida had the ball for
- 8:29Speaker 2: 39 minutes and 16 seconds against Auburn. Trinidad Chambliss can't
- 8:33Speaker 2: hurt you if he's standing on the sidelines. And so
- 8:36Speaker 2: I do think, I don't love the concept of getting
- 8:39Speaker 2: into a shootout with Ole Miss, even though I do
- 8:42Speaker 2: think that Florida, you know, Florida has been insanely efficient.
- 8:44Speaker 2: They have, I think they've punted twice this entire season. They,
- 8:48Speaker 2: you know, but I don't want to get into a
- 8:51Speaker 2: shootout with the best player in college football who just
- 8:53Speaker 2: somehow makes magic happen when he touches the ball. So
- 8:57Speaker 2: I think if you can limit the amount of possessions
- 9:00Speaker 2: Ole Miss has, you keep yourself in that game. Can
- 9:03Speaker 2: you have 13, 15 play sustained drives.
- 9:07Speaker 3: That eat chunks of the clock so that he.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Does have a third of the amount of time on
- 9:12Speaker 2: the field as your offense does? I think that's the
- 9:15Speaker 2: winning recipe, but you're never going to stop Chambliss, but
- 9:18Speaker 2: can you mitigate him? And there's lessons in that LSU
- 9:22Speaker 2: Ole Miss game as well. Ole Miss didn't score in
- 9:24Speaker 2: the third quarter. I guarantee you Florida... coaches are looking
- 9:27Speaker 2: at that third quarter and trying to figure out exactly
- 9:30Speaker 2: what LSU did successfully to stop Trinidad for that short
- 9:34Speaker 2: period of time and seeing if there's anything Florida can
- 9:37Speaker 2: do to replicate it.
- 9:39Speaker 1: When you think about Florida's offense, back to the other
- 9:41Speaker 1: side for just a minute. This Ole Miss defense was
- 9:45Speaker 1: good in the first half, not quite as good in
- 9:47Speaker 1: the second half. They got the big stop, but even
- 9:49Speaker 1: that last drive, LSU drove all the way down and
- 9:52Speaker 1: they were in position to score. Now they you know, bent,
- 9:54Speaker 1: but didn't break. I think Ole Miss has a good defense.
- 9:59Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know if it matters, but like,
- 10:02Speaker 1: I don't know how you compare them to Auburn's defense,
- 10:05Speaker 1: especially in Auburn defense playing at home under Durkin. So I,
- 10:09Speaker 1: I kind of wonder if Ole Miss's defense is maybe
- 10:12Speaker 1: slightly better, but then you're playing on the road. So
- 10:14Speaker 1: if that kind of mitigates it and you know, if
- 10:17Speaker 1: that's the case, can Florida have a similar level of
- 10:21Speaker 1: success offensively? Maybe not necessarily the same scoring total or
- 10:25Speaker 1: output if they take some of the air out of
- 10:27Speaker 1: the ball to keep it out of Trinidad's hands. But
- 10:29Speaker 1: I wonder what Florida's offense can do against this defense
- 10:32Speaker 1: because I think they can be got. And Ellis, you
- 10:34Speaker 1: kind of showed you They got them in the second half.
- 10:38Speaker 1: They scored three times. They scored once before half to
- 10:40Speaker 1: get their first touchdown. So Florida's got a long-winded way
- 10:43Speaker 1: of saying, I think Florida can move the ball efficiently here.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Not that you want to get into a shootout, like
- 10:47Speaker 1: you said, but I do think that that's a good angle.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I do think on paper that Ole Miss' defense is
- 10:54Speaker 2: a tick better in terms of the Jimmys and the Joes.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Auburn has really good linebackers, but the thing that stood
- 11:00Speaker 2: out to me, though, when I was reading over stats
- 11:03Speaker 2: on this defense is that Ole Miss has given up
- 11:06Speaker 2: 46 tackles this year, or missed 46 tackles this year.
- 11:10Speaker 2: That ranks fourth in all of college football in missed tackles.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Jaden Baugh has caused 30 missed tackles this season himself.
- 11:20Speaker 2: He is the, and that ranks number one. And so
- 11:25Speaker 2: that is such an interesting matchup to me. Auburn has
- 11:28Speaker 2: done a little bit better on miss tackles than L
- 11:31Speaker 2: than Ole miss has. So that is something that I
- 11:33Speaker 2: kind of was paying attention to, but I, you know,
- 11:37Speaker 2: Ole miss was a playoff team last year. They were,
- 11:40Speaker 2: I mean, this is an incredibly talented team with a
- 11:43Speaker 2: lot of veteran leadership on it, coached by a coach
- 11:46Speaker 2: whose hair is on fire currently, you know, and, and
- 11:49Speaker 2: so you're going to get, you're going to get a
- 11:53Speaker 2: defense that is jacked up and ready to go. But
- 11:56Speaker 2: I do think if Florida can establish the run That
- 11:59Speaker 2: really just opens everything else up. And I do– I
- 12:01Speaker 2: have faith that Baugh can do that. I'm– you know,
- 12:05Speaker 2: the environment is going to be electric. I do wonder
- 12:08Speaker 2: if there's any sort of emotional hangover on it for
- 12:12Speaker 2: Ole Miss. You know, they beat LSU, and I do
- 12:14Speaker 2: think that there's less of a chance of an emotional.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Hangover when you win than when you lose.
- 12:18Speaker 2: But that entire week was incredibly draining for them.
- 12:21Speaker 3: I mean, we watched it.
- 12:22Speaker 2: From the sidelines, you know, from afar, saw how– insane
- 12:28Speaker 2: that week was. I do think that this is kind
- 12:31Speaker 2: of a letdown spot if you aren't very careful, if you're,
- 12:34Speaker 2: you know, with your old Mrs. Coaching staff, just emotionally
- 12:37Speaker 2: a letdown. They got a little bit banged up as well.
- 12:40Speaker 2: And that's when, you know, Florida is potentially not going
- 12:44Speaker 2: to have a single person on the injury report list
- 12:47Speaker 2: this week, which is crazy. They got back Obadejo last week,
- 12:52Speaker 2: Only he and Eric Singleton were the only people on
- 12:55Speaker 2: it going into the Auburn game.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I've heard we are thinking we're getting Eric.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Singleton back this game, which I also think is another
- 13:04Speaker 2: interesting point as well because this offense has been incredibly efficient,
- 13:07Speaker 2: missing the person that many think is actually wide receiver
- 13:11Speaker 2: one for this offense.
- 13:13Speaker 3: But this is a healthy Florida team, which always helps.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You talked about the atmosphere and the environment. I think
- 13:20Speaker 1: this is going to be the 22nd straight sellout, maybe 21st.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I don't know. It's one of those numbers. Um, and
- 13:26Speaker 1: Florida fans, you know, say whatever you want. Right. But
- 13:30Speaker 1: they show up and that place is crazy. And it
- 13:33Speaker 1: doesn't matter if you're playing Ole Miss who is top
- 13:35Speaker 1: five of the country or the Campbell Campbell's right. Like they've,
- 13:38Speaker 1: shown up the last several years, despite a lot of
- 13:41Speaker 1: the football being really bad and they've continued to pack
- 13:44Speaker 1: that place out. And I think it's one of the
- 13:45Speaker 1: most impressive things that we've seen because that just doesn't
- 13:48Speaker 1: happen everywhere. Like, you know, Alabama is a top 10
- 13:51Speaker 1: team and I was in Tuscaloosa this week and now
- 13:54Speaker 1: the weather impacted it, but there were empty seats there,
- 13:57Speaker 1: you know, like there were, you know, not a lot there.
- 13:59Speaker 1: They did a good job. It was 90%, but there
- 14:01Speaker 1: were a lot of empty seats, um, certainly on the,
- 14:03Speaker 1: on the top level. And so I, I do think
- 14:07Speaker 1: that that's pretty impressive. And it almost feels like this game,
- 14:10Speaker 1: a top five game against a ranked top 20 Florida team,
- 14:14Speaker 1: top 21 Florida team, is almost like the reward that
- 14:18Speaker 1: Florida fans deserve for the last few years. Putting up
- 14:21Speaker 1: with hell. And so I can't, I guess I said
- 14:24Speaker 1: long lead in to ask, this is the biggest game
- 14:27Speaker 1: that Florida has played at home since what?
- 14:30Speaker 2: I would say since Utah, the first game of the
- 14:34Speaker 2: Billy Napier era. Now I understand that Florida upset Texas
- 14:38Speaker 2: last year in the swamp, but I think this is different.
- 14:41Speaker 2: That was more like a blind squirrel finding in that,
- 14:43Speaker 2: you know, nobody went into that game thinking Florida has
- 14:47Speaker 2: an opportunity to beat Texas in this game.
- 14:51Speaker 3: So I don't think the buildup was there.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I think it was like, Oh, Texas is coming to
- 14:55Speaker 2: town kind of wish their first game in the swamp
- 14:57Speaker 2: was a game where Florida had a better team or,
- 14:59Speaker 2: you know, something along that lines. And that doesn't mean
- 15:01Speaker 2: the stadium didn't get incredibly loud as fans realized that, Hey,
- 15:05Speaker 2: we have an opportunity here, but I just feel like
- 15:08Speaker 2: this is so, it feels like the electricity's already there
- 15:11Speaker 2: right now. I, and I felt like that was similar
- 15:14Speaker 2: to that Utah game. And that was more, um, this
- 15:18Speaker 2: is a new era, you know, for, for Florida football.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I don't know that it was, it was opponent specific,
- 15:25Speaker 2: but this is, SEC play, this fan base does deserve
- 15:31Speaker 2: this kind of home game. And Summerhill talked about how
- 15:34Speaker 2: electric he found the atmosphere against FAU and Campbell. And listen,
- 15:37Speaker 2: I felt like they were great atmospheres.
- 15:38Speaker 3: I was there for that.
- 15:39Speaker 2: He is in for a treat though, because it was
- 15:43Speaker 2: not an SEC environment, not like what he's about to experience.
- 15:47Speaker 3: I wish this was a seven or seven 30 kick though. Yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Well, I hate the TV networks for sticking us with
- 15:53Speaker 1: games that you know, in week four and things got
- 15:56Speaker 1: figured out, we have LSU A & M late at night,
- 15:59Speaker 1: despite both those teams losing last week. Um, but no, I,
- 16:02Speaker 1: I was, I was there, you know, one that I
- 16:05Speaker 1: was thinking of also a day kick, I think three 30. Uh,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I was there for when Auburn was top five, I
- 16:10Speaker 1: believe in Florida upset them. I was there.
- 16:12Speaker 3: That was 2019.
- 16:13Speaker 2: That was a great, that was, you know, I think
- 16:16Speaker 2: younger Gator fans point to that game is the loudest
- 16:18Speaker 2: that they've ever heard that stadium. I was around in
- 16:21Speaker 2: 06 when Jarvis Moss blocked the extra point against South Carolina.
- 16:26Speaker 2: There were some Florida-Florida State games in the 90s that
- 16:29Speaker 2: I personally would argue were louder than either of those.
- 16:32Speaker 2: But today's Gator fans were barely alive at that point,
- 16:35Speaker 2: so they definitely don't necessarily remember it. But there is
- 16:40Speaker 2: a ton of hype going into this game, and the
- 16:43Speaker 2: stadium is going to be the loudest it's been in
- 16:45Speaker 2: a very long time. I hope somebody's there measuring the decibels.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I was there in, um, I was there in 15,
- 16:51Speaker 1: the largest, the largest crowd today, you know, on, on record.
- 16:55Speaker 1: And yeah, it just, when you can be in those
- 16:58Speaker 1: types of environments and experience that, you know, it is,
- 17:01Speaker 1: it's kind of a reward for your fans for putting
- 17:03Speaker 1: up with the crap of, of the last several years. And, uh, we'll,
- 17:08Speaker 1: we'll see. I I'm, I'm, I mean, you know this,
- 17:10Speaker 1: but I'm going to, Going to Knoxville and excited to
- 17:13Speaker 1: get right back to the car.
- 17:13Speaker 3: That's a fun one, too. I love Neyland Stadium. That
- 17:16Speaker 3: is a great place to watch a game.
- 17:17Speaker 2: They put their opposing team fans, like the families of players,
- 17:22Speaker 2: in the absolute highest section. There was a point in
- 17:24Speaker 2: time I'm sitting in a game, only my section was
- 17:26Speaker 2: still in the sun. Every other section in the entire stadium,
- 17:30Speaker 2: it was dark, but that's where they put the player families.
- 17:32Speaker 2: And you are not sitting behind the person in front
- 17:34Speaker 2: of you. You are sitting above the person in front
- 17:37Speaker 2: of you. But an incredible historic venue. ball Navy, so
- 17:42Speaker 2: many cool things you're going to experience again.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Thank you. Everyone will be sitting in the sun. Thanks
- 17:46Speaker 1: to the sec and ESPN on, on.
- 17:48Speaker 3: That kickoff kick. Yeah.
- 17:50Speaker 1: We've got like nearly, I mean, it's one verse 14. So,
- 17:53Speaker 1: but nearly a top 10 matchup and, uh, you know,
- 17:56Speaker 1: three undefeated teams in the sec and we've got a
- 17:57Speaker 1: Saturday noon nooner there in Knoxville. So, but I am
- 18:01Speaker 1: excited to get back out to the car and watch
- 18:02Speaker 1: this on the iPad as soon as that one's over. So, um,
- 18:06Speaker 1: Score prediction for this one? I know you've done it
- 18:08Speaker 1: on some different shows, so I don't mind asking you.
- 18:10Speaker 3: I'm trying to think if I have given one on
- 18:13Speaker 3: this game yet. I don't think I have.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Did you want to peek inside SEC?
- 18:18Speaker 3: Oh, maybe I did. You're right. I want to say...
- 18:22Speaker 3: Did I say 31-28 maybe?
- 18:24Speaker 1: Yeah, 34-30. No, 34-28.
- 18:27Speaker 3: I think that's what I said, 34-28.
- 18:29Speaker 2: And I go back and forth a little bit because
- 18:32Speaker 2: 31 would be low for the amount.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Of points that Florida has been scoring.
- 18:36Speaker 2: 28 would be low for the amount of points that
- 18:38Speaker 2: Ole Miss has been scoring. So I just think– I
- 18:42Speaker 2: don't know that I– I'm not quite a believer that
- 18:45Speaker 2: a shootout– you know, favors Florida yet. Maybe after this game,
- 18:49Speaker 2: I will change my tune on that and I'll start
- 18:51Speaker 2: predicting these 50 point games. But, and I, it's hard
- 18:55Speaker 2: to imagine a world where getting into a shootout with
- 18:58Speaker 2: Trinidad Chambliss is a good thing for your team.
- 19:00Speaker 1: But I just want the ball last. If that's the case,
- 19:04Speaker 1: don't don't, you might see John having them kneel it
- 19:06Speaker 1: down at the two to make sure that the, uh,
- 19:08Speaker 1: the clock runs out the rest of the way. Like Matt, yeah.
- 19:11Speaker 1: The shout out NC State. You've had a lot of
- 19:14Speaker 1: good stuff already come out this week. Talk about today's
- 19:16Speaker 1: video and then what else you have coming this week
- 19:18Speaker 1: on a peek inside Gators football.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Today we have Brooks Austin, the film guy. He is awesome.
- 19:23Speaker 2: He broke down a lot of film for the Florida
- 19:25Speaker 2: Auburn game and then also was at the Ole Miss
- 19:28Speaker 2: LSU game last week. And so we talked a lot
- 19:30Speaker 2: of comparisons and the kind of matchup what he saw
- 19:33Speaker 2: from both games.
- 19:34Speaker 3: So I think that's really exciting.
- 19:36Speaker 2: We may have Landon Tegwell later on in the week
- 19:39Speaker 2: talking about Florida's offensive line. He was coached by Phil Troutwine,
- 19:42Speaker 2: so it's so interesting because he has such an insider
- 19:45Speaker 2: perspective of what's going on inside that room, which I
- 19:49Speaker 2: think is cool. We just have a ton of content.
- 19:51Speaker 2: We're going to have some Ole Miss guys coming at
- 19:53Speaker 2: you as well. And I think it's always important to
- 19:55Speaker 2: get the other viewpoint, but I'm excited. This is a big,
- 19:59Speaker 2: big week.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Yeah. Massive week for UF, massive week in the SEC.
- 20:03Speaker 1: And I wish it wasn't Tuesday. I wish it wasn't Tuesday.
- 20:07Speaker 1: You're not baiting me with that, which it wasn't Tuesday,
- 20:10Speaker 1: so the games would already be here. But Allie Peek,
