  the certainty of him and his existence in your heart.

  Hello and welcome to this broadcast of Woman at the Well Ministries. Let us pray.

  Our kind and most gracious dear Heavenly Father, Lord, we thank you for this
• 1:46
  and other opportunity to come before you.
• 1:49
  Lord, we're thankful that you have written your words from Genesis to Revelations,
• 1:53
  that we might know who you are and that we may have confidence in you,
• 1:58
  that we might stand by your word and that we may allow your word to just fill
• 2:03
  us and lead us and guide us with full assurance that you will take care of us
• 2:08
  and full assurance that what you tell us to do is best for us, Lord.
• 2:12
  And I pray that as we spend these next few moments together,
• 2:15
  Father, that you just open our hearts, you open our minds.
• 2:19
  Lord, I pray that you would speak through me, that we might find in this scripture
• 2:23
  the truth and the gem that you would have us to know today as we look into your
• 2:28
  word and listen as you speak.
• 2:31
  We pray, dear Heavenly Father, that you would help us to turn over any fear
• 2:36
  that we might have and that you would fill our hearts with faith and that you
• 2:40
  would have the Holy Spirit which dwells in each and every believer to shove
• 2:45
  out any of the fear and the doubt that might be in there.
• 2:48
  We pray, Lord, for your presence in our life.
• 2:52
  And we pray, Lord, that we would always find ourselves doing what you'd have
• 2:56
  us to do and that we would be more for you now than we've ever been.
• 3:00
  In Jesus' name we pray, and amen.

  The scripture that we're talking about here in Luke chapter 1 and verse 4 is
• 3:09
  Luke is writing to the people and he's telling them that he feels that he wanted
• 3:17
  them to know the certainty of the things that they had been instructed in.
• 3:23
  If you don't believe what someone is telling you, it's very difficult for you to follow it.
• 3:31
  And Luke understood the value of the words he was imparting to them.
• 3:38
  And he imparts to us in this scripture and in the book of Luke.
• 3:43
  And he wanted to encourage each and every one of us to take the word of God
• 3:50
  as truth because it is truth.
• 3:54
  And he wanted us to understand that what is written is sure.
• 4:00
  And that you don't need to have any doubts about it and you don't need to ponder
• 4:05
  about its value or its truthfulness but you need to read it and be certain of
• 4:13
  what God has said in full assurance that it is true.
• 4:19
  And as we begin to think about what he's telling us, let's look at what he says
• 4:23
  in these verses preceding verse 4.
• 4:26
  He says, for as much as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration
• 4:31
  of those things which are most surely believed among us.
• 4:35
  I think it's good that we stop for a moment in our lives and take an assessment
• 4:41
  and reflect upon what it is we truly believe.
• 4:46
  What do you believe about God?
• 4:49
  And why do you believe what you believe and what are you basing it on?
• 4:53
  All that we know about Jesus and all that we know about God needs to be based
• 4:59
  on the holy word of God and the scriptures.
• 5:02
  And everything that you hold dear about who God is needs to be grounded and rooted in his holy word.
• 5:11
  And you can be certain then that that's true and how it is.
• 5:16
  He says even as they delivered them
• 5:19
  unto us which from the beginning were eyewitnesses and
• 5:23
  ministers of the word this isn't just
• 5:26
  some words that somebody has written down this
• 5:30
  isn't somebody's thoughts or ideas of what
• 5:33
  god might want you to do this is the
• 5:36
  inspired infallible word of god that
• 5:39
  was written by the direction of the holy spirit with
• 5:43
  divine inspiration and every word
• 5:46
  from genesis to revelation is completely
• 5:49
  true and his word will not go void
• 5:53
  and his word will never pass away jesus
• 5:57
  was made flesh and dwelt among us and the word was made flesh and dwelt among
• 6:02
  us in the form of jesus and we have him from genesis to revelations and we can
• 6:09
  be sure that his holy word is true.
• 6:14
  And when we understand that when we
• 6:17
  understand that when he said for
• 6:20
  god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son
• 6:23
  that whosoever believeth in him should not perish
• 6:26
  but have everlasting life when we realize that that's
• 6:30
  a certainty that if you do believe in jesus
• 6:33
  you will be saved if we realize that whosoever
• 6:36
  shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved if
• 6:39
  we realize that he says that marvel not
• 6:43
  that i say unto thee ye must be born again
• 6:45
  that's a certainty and a surety when we
• 6:49
  realize that he said i'll never leave you
• 6:52
  nor forsake thee then we can travel through
• 6:55
  this world knowing that we are safe in
• 6:58
  the arms of god and that he is the way the
• 7:01
  truth and the life he said he was and if we'll just follow.
• 7:04
  After him then we will be in the center of his
• 7:07
  will and we will be under the shadow of the.
• 7:10
  Almighty all promises and words
• 7:14
  of surety that we can be very certain about
• 7:17
  and that's what luke is trying to
• 7:20
  tell us you can count on this word you
• 7:24
  can believe it it's not going to
• 7:26
  let you down it's not going to lead
• 7:29
  you astray you can bank on every word
• 7:32
  he says it seemed good to me also having
• 7:35
  had perfect understanding of all things from the
• 7:38
  very first to write unto thee in order most excellent theophilus he has an understanding
• 7:47
  because god has given him that understanding and he wants to write it so that
• 7:52
  we understand it by the divine inspiration of God.
• 7:56
  And he says that thou mightest know the certainty of those things wherein thou has been instructed.

  I am so blessed that from the time I have any memory whatsoever,
• 8:09
  I can remember being brought up in the fear and admonition of the Lord in the
• 8:16
  scriptures, learning them,
• 8:17
  hiding in my heart, as the Psalmist David said that I wouldn't sin against the Lord.
• 8:22
  Knowing that I am fully persuaded that what he that which he has begun in me,
• 8:26
  he'll complete against that day, knowing full well that I can pray,
• 8:32
  knowing God will hear me.
• 8:34
  The scripture says, if I don't have iniquity in my heart, that he will hear me.
• 8:38
  The scripture says that if I confess my sins, he's faithful and just to forgive
• 8:43
  me of my sins and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I am as sure that
• 8:48
  Jesus loves me as I am my name, is Kimberly Francine Miller.

  I am as sure that if I close my eyes and sleep tonight and I don't awaken to
• 8:58
  see the dawn of the next day, that I will awaken in heaven and it'll be goodbye world and hello God.

  I don't believe anything any more sure than I believe that I am a child of the Most High God.

  He shows me daily with his blessings, with the way he provides for me,
• 9:18
  with the way I can see his hand at work and moving throughout my life,
• 9:23
  the way he orchestrates things in my life, the way he intervenes and steps in to see that all is well.
• 9:30
  I am seeing the evidence of God in my life every day.
• 9:34
  And from Genesis to Revelations, I can see that what he says has come true.
• 9:40
  In the Old Testament, he prophesied it.
• 9:43
  In the New Testament, he fulfilled it. And every day I watch him live out the
• 9:48
  words of truth that he has written in his holy word.
• 9:52
  I can be certain not just because Luke told me to be so, but because he said,
• 9:57
  little children, these things I have written that you might know.
• 10:01
  And nowhere has the word of God ever failed me.
• 10:04
  Nowhere has God ever forsaken me. Nowhere has God ever not been on the scene
• 10:10
  even before I called out his name.
• 10:13
  Nowhere has he ever let me slip, but he's held me tight. He's placed me upon
• 10:18
  the rock. He works with me and he walks with me and he talks with me.
• 10:23
  And he's constantly trying to help me be the person that he created me to be
• 10:28
  so that I might live in the fullness of God, that I might be in the full presence
• 10:33
  of who he is and be aware of all he does for me.
• 10:36
  Sometimes he calls me to something that I may not understand,
• 10:40
  but he's never called me where he wasn't going before me, where he didn't surround me,
• 10:45
  where he doesn't have my back, where he's not leading and shining his light
• 10:49
  upon me and where he isn't equipping me to succeed.
• 10:53
  The one way that you can be sure that you will not fail is to make sure that
• 10:59
  what you're doing is in the center of God's will, because God will never let you fail.
• 11:06
  When you're doing what he's called you to do, you may not have a clue in the world how to get it done.
• 11:11
  You might not even have any inclination that you like to do what he's asking
• 11:16
  you to do. None of that even matters.
• 11:19
  But what you can be sure of is that if he called you, he'll prepare you and
• 11:25
  he will prepare the way and victory is right around the corner.
• 11:32
  You can be certain of his
• 11:35
  presence in your life do you know
• 11:38
  what a blessing it is to know from the
• 11:41
  top of your head to the bottom of your feet that jesus
• 11:44
  loves you do you know what an amazing sense
• 11:47
  of peace and joy there is in knowing that
• 11:51
  the king of kings and the lord of lords the
• 11:54
  greatest of all cares about you
• 11:58
  got his eyes on you is supplying your
• 12:01
  every need and he wanted you to have such peace of understanding so that you
• 12:07
  would believe what he says that he writes it all over his book all over his
• 12:12
  pages that he loves you and that you can believe and trust in him You see,
• 12:18
  some of you within the sound of my voice may not believe.
• 12:21
  And that is sad. For there's never been anything more sure than the love of God for you.
• 12:28
  That he has a plan for you to prosper you to give you a hope in the future.
• 12:32
  There's never been any more sure word spoken than the word spoken in his holy word.
• 12:40
  I really encourage you to open your heart in prayer.
• 12:44
  Open the Word of God and allow Him to reveal to you what it says.
• 12:49
