- 0:56Speaker 4: Talk about your fourth of July weekend. Feel free. I
- 0:58Speaker 4: was off for a few days. Thanks for putting up
- 1:00Speaker 4: with that. I'm happy to be back eight seven seven,
- 1:03Speaker 4: Valdes one eight seven seven, eight twenty five, thirty three
- 1:06Speaker 4: seventy one, share your thoughts and Ed trom Pito din
- 1:10Speaker 4: Aldous Magnus, the forty fifth and forty seventh President of
- 1:12Speaker 4: these United States. He did it again, right. He gave
- 1:16Speaker 4: a big speech at that incredible America two fifty Freedom
- 1:20Speaker 4: two fifty event. It was really quite the thing, right.
- 1:24Speaker 4: It was a powerhouse speech on the National Mall for
- 1:26Speaker 4: the two hundred and fiftieth Birthday of America. I was
- 1:29Speaker 4: in excuse me, I was in town for the events
- 1:34Speaker 4: in Washington, DC. And the fireworks were beautiful, lighting up
- 1:37Speaker 4: the sky like you kind of like Tawn's early line, right,
- 1:40Speaker 4: you know, the bombs bursting in the air. It was really, really,
- 1:43Speaker 4: really reminiscent of the Francis Scott Key lyrics in the
- 1:47Speaker 4: Star Spangled Banner. Big thanks to my guy Tony Delgado
- 1:50Speaker 4: from Latino Wall Street and ce PAC Puerto Rico for
- 1:52Speaker 4: hosting the event at the Pierce School, which is a
- 1:55Speaker 4: big loft mansion with an incredible rooftop view. That was great.
- 2:00Speaker 4: It's owned by the founder of the Bitcoin Foundation, and
- 2:06Speaker 4: it was almost like the whole city was celebrating together,
- 2:08Speaker 4: right because everywhere you looked there was just fireworks, more firework,
- 2:11Speaker 4: a couple of rain drops, but all overall, all in all,
- 2:15Speaker 4: fantastic time. Now, speaking of celebrations, you know, I spent
- 2:19Speaker 4: some of the weekend because I had some days off.
- 2:22Speaker 4: I was down at the Jersey Shore too perfect beach weather,
- 2:25Speaker 4: maybe a little bit too hot, but long Branch and seaside.
- 2:28Speaker 4: There was a lot of sharks down there by the way.
- 2:29Speaker 4: I linked up with some of my old friends from
- 2:31Speaker 4: Hudson County days and we had a good time. You know,
- 2:34Speaker 4: we had a little cooler, we had a speaker, some medanga,
- 2:38Speaker 4: some music. It was really just a great time until
- 2:41Speaker 4: this big storm kicked in. Sand was flying all over
- 2:44Speaker 4: the place and a lot of flooding afterwards. Thankfully we
- 2:47Speaker 4: made it home in time. But it was quite an adventure.
- 2:52Speaker 4: So Independence Day, hell yeah, miracle. It was a really
- 2:56Speaker 4: good time. And did you hear about the Macy's fireworks.
- 2:59Speaker 4: The Macy's fire works there was their first time doing
- 3:01Speaker 4: something off of the Brooklyn Bridge, and well, let's just
- 3:05Speaker 4: say things got a little bit wild over there. Because
- 3:09Speaker 4: we listen to this, it breaks it down perfectly at.
- 3:12Speaker 2: This own disclosed location.
- 3:14Speaker 5: We find dozens of pyrotechnicians behind me working on the
- 3:17Speaker 5: fourth of July Macy's Fireworks show. There are handwiring projectiles,
- 3:23Speaker 5: eighty five thousand of them that will be loaded onto
- 3:25Speaker 5: at least six barges which will be part of the fireworks,
- 3:28Speaker 5: laser and.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Musical show come Saturday night.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Now, why this one is huge.
- 3:32Speaker 5: It's two hundred and fifty years anniversary for the United States,
- 3:36Speaker 5: and it will be expanded, it will have more communities
- 3:39Speaker 5: to get a chance to see. The viewing areas for
- 3:41Speaker 5: this event, both on the Hudson River and on the
- 3:44Speaker 5: East River as far as the Hudson River Jersey City
- 3:47Speaker 5: free viewing locations, whereas the City of New York is
- 3:50Speaker 5: distributing one hundred thousand free tickets for folks to register
- 3:55Speaker 5: through a lottery which is now open. This is all
- 3:58Speaker 5: part of a huge celebration which you can and watch
- 4:00Speaker 5: on Saturday night starting at eight through NBC Peacock and
- 4:04Speaker 5: Telemundo Enjoy America two hundred and fiftyth Independence.
- 4:08Speaker 4: So that was a report from NBC News and from Telemundo.
- 4:12Speaker 4: And what's interesting here is that they'd not done this
- 4:16Speaker 4: type of pyrotech Take two, Take three security. They hadn't
- 4:21Speaker 4: done this type of pyrotechnics from the Brooklyn Bridge before,
- 4:25Speaker 4: and listen to this. The coordinator gave an interview saying,
- 4:30Speaker 4: this is the first time that they're going to be
- 4:32Speaker 4: doing this type of pyrotechnic stuff over the Brooklyn Bridge.
- 4:37Speaker 4: And things got a little too lit, indeed, with a
- 4:39Speaker 4: fire breaking out, multiple fires breaking out. While they did
- 4:43Speaker 4: have a contingency plan in place and things were, you know,
- 4:46Speaker 4: in place to put out these fires, they did happen right,
- 4:49Speaker 4: So it was beautiful fireworks, and all of a sudden
- 4:50Speaker 4: the actual Brooklyn Bridge was on fire, which was pretty wild.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Definitely a two lit in my opinion. Anyway, I want
- 4:58Speaker 4: to go back right, it wouldn't be a New York
- 5:00Speaker 4: thing if it wasn't a little something like that little surprise. Now,
- 5:03Speaker 4: before I get into the World Cup and all that,
- 5:05Speaker 4: I want to play a quick clip from President Trump,
- 5:08Speaker 4: who gave I thought a fantastic speech on the fourth
- 5:11Speaker 4: of July at the Freedom to fifty event. Listen to this.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Americans must never forget that we are a historic and
- 5:18Speaker 6: heroic people with a heroic spirit and a heroic purpose.
- 5:23Speaker 6: On this beautiful earth of ours. We are made the
- 5:27Speaker 6: courage and the fire, and the flesh and the blood
- 5:30Speaker 6: of the best and the bravest people this world has
- 5:33Speaker 6: ever produced. We are the bravest and the best.
- 5:36Speaker 7: Tonight we pledge allegiance to the flag they gave us,
- 5:39Speaker 7: and we say God bless the immortal patriots of seventeen
- 5:44Speaker 7: seventy six, and long live the cause of independence.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Amen, America, May it.
- 5:54Speaker 6: Rain forever and ever and ever. We will always be
- 5:58Speaker 6: on top. We will never let our country fall. We
- 6:03Speaker 6: will always be the best. Our founders not only won
- 6:06Speaker 6: our liberty, they secured it with the most righteous political
- 6:10Speaker 6: document ever conceived.
- 6:12Speaker 8: It's called the Constitution of the United States. Very special,
- 6:18Speaker 8: and it's because of their genius that we remain the
- 6:22Speaker 8: finest people on the planet after two hundred and fifty years.
- 6:27Speaker 8: Unlike so many others in the world, in this country,
- 6:29Speaker 8: we have freedom of speech, freedom of religion, equal justice
- 6:35Speaker 8: under the law, although I wasn't treated that well, but
- 6:38Speaker 8: we won't get into that.
- 6:41Speaker 2: And the right to keep and bear arms.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Outstanding. Again. That's President Trump at the Freedom to fifty
- 6:50Speaker 4: America to fifty event at the National Mall, and really
- 6:53Speaker 4: remarkable the fireworks best I've ever seen anyway. I want
- 6:58Speaker 4: to get into the World Cup. I want to get
- 6:59Speaker 4: into to the Red Car drama. Sadly, Team USA lost
- 7:04Speaker 4: to Belgium, but we fought hard and maybe we'll get
- 7:06Speaker 4: them next time. Later in the show, we're gonna dive
- 7:09Speaker 4: into some of these daredevils that climb the Empire State Building.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Plus the I can't speak today. I'm getting back in
- 7:15Speaker 4: the groove of things here. CNN has some new data
- 7:19Speaker 4: showing democrats are less likely to love America. We'll unpack
- 7:23Speaker 4: that one for you. I got some audio on that,
- 7:25Speaker 4: plus the latest on what we can expect from President
- 7:27Speaker 4: Trump's latest trip abroad. That's coming up, some political analysis
- 7:32Speaker 4: from me, because of course, you know, we got to
- 7:34Speaker 4: talk about that. That's always a big thing. But I
- 7:37Speaker 4: want to get into some of these other topics and
- 7:40Speaker 4: we'll do that on the other side. So keep it
- 7:42Speaker 4: locked right here. There's so much more to come. Straight ahead,
- 7:44Speaker 4: don't go anywhere. I'm Richaldees, this is America, this is
- 8:00Speaker 4: a Maria.
- 8:01Speaker 2: He's brown, he's bald, and he's breaking it down.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Oh he's still has some what's his dad? Rich Beldas.
- 8:16Speaker 6: Loyal to Karl Marx or you can be loyal to America.
- 8:21Speaker 6: You can be a communist, or you can be a patriot.
- 8:24Speaker 3: You cannot be.
- 8:25Speaker 6: Both, As were those who pedal Marxist lies about our heritage,
- 8:30Speaker 6: tell our children that we live on stolen land, or
- 8:35Speaker 6: that our heroes were oppressors. They're doing something much worse
- 8:39Speaker 6: than slandering our past. They are slandering and attacking our future.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Not going to let that happen.
- 8:46Speaker 6: They're trying to tear down the great American character, to
- 8:49Speaker 6: destroy the people who declared independence, who cross the Delaware,
- 8:54Speaker 6: who settle the West and conquered the Sguise. You know
- 8:57Speaker 6: who those people are. But we will ever let that happen.
- 9:02Speaker 6: Our American ancestors did not shed their blood at Concord
- 9:06Speaker 6: and Trenton, Gettysburg and Shiloh, Midway and Normandy just so
- 9:11Speaker 6: that a band of thieves, radicals, that lunatics could come
- 9:14Speaker 6: in and loot, pillage our nation. Our heroes died to win,
- 9:19Speaker 6: build and to save, and to build truly a great country,
- 9:23Speaker 6: the greatest country ever in the world.
- 9:30Speaker 4: So that's the President Trump at the Freedom to fifty
- 9:37Speaker 4: anniversary of the two hundred and fiftieth year of America
- 9:41Speaker 4: and couldn't have put it any better myself. Right, Marxists
- 9:45Speaker 4: are destroying America, I should say, at least what they
- 9:49Speaker 4: believe in is antithetical to what the founders believed in,
- 9:53Speaker 4: and therefore the outcomes of these policies, beliefs, and actions
- 9:59Speaker 4: destroy the fabric of America as we know it. This,
- 10:02Speaker 4: sadly is their goal. This is what they do, This
- 10:05Speaker 4: is what they want because they don't agree with the
- 10:08Speaker 4: America we have everything. President Trump just said that, you know,
- 10:11Speaker 4: these heroes that fought the British crown to make America
- 10:14Speaker 4: people that have stepped up during you know, back when
- 10:17Speaker 4: we got into meddling in foreign wars, right, remember that
- 10:20Speaker 4: whole war that we had nothing to do with in
- 10:21Speaker 4: World War One? Yeah, we got into it and we
- 10:24Speaker 4: helped liberate people. This is kind of what America has
- 10:28Speaker 4: always been and what America does, and it's part of
- 10:32Speaker 4: our DNA. And the leftists don't like that. They don't
- 10:37Speaker 4: like the industrial revolution, they don't like the fact that
- 10:41Speaker 4: we have a robust free market system. They want the
- 10:46Speaker 4: government to be in charge. Just recently, Mamdani was talking
- 10:51Speaker 4: about how Reagan got it wrong saying that you know,
- 10:54Speaker 4: these government growser restores are the way of the future.
- 10:57Speaker 4: And look, I understand it. I do. Before I go
- 11:00Speaker 4: down the Mamdani rabbit hole, because I could talk about
- 11:02Speaker 4: that stuff forever. I'll leave that for a little bit later.
- 11:05Speaker 4: I do want to talk about new information that we
- 11:08Speaker 4: have from CNN, where the CNN chief data analyst Harry Enton.
- 11:15Speaker 4: He's got a report showing that the Marxists within the
- 11:20Speaker 4: Democrat Party have succeeded in getting their fellow Democrats to
- 11:28Speaker 4: be more likely to be those that hate America. And
- 11:31Speaker 4: I mean, that's got to be one of the worst
- 11:33Speaker 4: things I've heard in forever, but that's the overarching truth,
- 11:39Speaker 4: all right. So listen to this report from Harry Anton
- 11:42Speaker 4: from just this week. Check this out.
- 11:44Speaker 9: Nine are extremely or very proud, just one, a single
- 11:48Speaker 9: one say they have little to no pride in being
- 11:51Speaker 9: an American. But look at over at the Democratic side.
- 11:53Speaker 4: This is what you can play the cut. Play it again,
- 11:56Speaker 4: just take it from the top. Go ahead, go right.
- 11:58Speaker 9: Ahead, mung Republicans three percent or extremely or very proud,
- 12:02Speaker 9: just one, a single one say they have little to
- 12:05Speaker 9: no pride in being an American. But look it over
- 12:07Speaker 9: at the Democratic side. This is where we've seen this
- 12:10Speaker 9: extremely your very number. It's been taking a tumble of
- 12:13Speaker 9: twenty seven percent, which is way different than the ninety three.
- 12:16Speaker 4: You do the quick math with me here, what is that?
- 12:17Speaker 9: That's a sixty six point difference here in terms of
- 12:20Speaker 9: extremely very But look at this, the little or no
- 12:23Speaker 9: proud to be an American actually among Democrats eclipses is
- 12:28Speaker 9: greater than the extremely or very proud number. So we
- 12:32Speaker 9: are just living in such a different universe if you're
- 12:36Speaker 9: a Republican versus a Democrat on the basic fundamental question
- 12:40Speaker 9: of being proud to be an American?
- 12:41Speaker 4: Isn't that crazy? Being proud to be an American? Democrats
- 12:47Speaker 4: don't have that same pride that Republicans do. Now, I remember, right,
- 12:54Speaker 4: forgive me for dating myself. I'm forty eight years old,
- 12:57Speaker 4: and I remember being a little kid, and we were
- 12:59Speaker 4: red wine and every single Friday, and we saluted the
- 13:03Speaker 4: flag and we sang all the patriotic songs. They were
- 13:06Speaker 4: indoctrinating us to love America, to be colonizers, right with
- 13:13Speaker 4: my red thie, my white shirt, my blue slacks every Friday. Now,
- 13:18Speaker 4: I don't understand why did we get rid of this brainwashing.
- 13:22Speaker 4: Now we have new brainwashing that says America is built
- 13:26Speaker 4: on stolen land. And even if it were true, which
- 13:30Speaker 4: it's not, but even if it were true, how do
- 13:34Speaker 4: you justify this? You just spend the rest of your
- 13:36Speaker 4: existence making amends, saying you're sorry, feeling badly, getting your sackcloth,
- 13:42Speaker 4: and giving yourself lashes. I don't understand what the point
- 13:47Speaker 4: of this is. I mean, I do know. The point
- 13:50Speaker 4: of it is to get you to hate your country,
- 13:52Speaker 4: to say that this country sucks. There was a man
- 13:55Speaker 4: on the street interview that occurred I'd say probably about
- 14:00Speaker 4: a week ago, and in looking at my clips here
- 14:05Speaker 4: and let me tell you what a what a upsetting
- 14:11Speaker 4: thing to watch. This man is out on the uh
- 14:16Speaker 4: I think it's the Venice Beach boardwalk, and he's interviewing
- 14:20Speaker 4: a bunch of young women all sorts, a young black girl,
- 14:24Speaker 4: young Indian girl, young young all sorts of girls, you know,
- 14:29Speaker 4: and there's only one white looking girl, like really red hair, freckles,
- 14:34Speaker 4: and she's probably got the most sinister response. She says.
- 14:37Speaker 4: And I'm from Kansas, so we deal with this on
- 14:39Speaker 4: a regular basis. I mean, it was just so disheartening
- 14:42Speaker 4: to see. It's by a guy named James Klug who
- 14:44Speaker 4: was doing this man on the street interview, just putting
- 14:47Speaker 4: microphone in, you know, in the face of people walking
- 14:50Speaker 4: along the boardwalk, just so revealing, unscripted and.
- 14:53Speaker 10: Just very see a person with an American flag on
- 14:57Speaker 10: their shirt, do you form any kind of opinion about
- 15:00Speaker 10: them or no?
- 15:01Speaker 11: Yes, yes, definitely And what is that Republican?
- 15:06Speaker 12: Yeah, probably like a trumpy they'd be the only ones
- 15:09Speaker 12: like brave enough to wear it in public.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Brave enough to wear an American flag, like proud to
- 15:14Speaker 4: wearing an American flag on their shirt.
- 15:17Speaker 9: You racist?
- 15:19Speaker 13: Yes, yeah, it's very racist patriotic For me, I think
- 15:23Speaker 13: it's like more of like a lot of people like
- 15:24Speaker 13: correlated with like racism and stuff like that.
- 15:27Speaker 3: It could be someone that's super patriotic, and usually I
- 15:31Speaker 3: think that.
- 15:32Speaker 4: It's a little too much. Hold on, first girl, the
- 15:36Speaker 4: third girl there, she says, it's usually correlated with racism
- 15:40Speaker 4: the American flag. Obviously, this is ten years in the making,
- 15:46Speaker 4: But twelve thirteen, fourteen years ago, that wasn't the case.
- 15:51Speaker 4: It wasn't the case that people were offended by the flag.
- 15:54Speaker 4: It wasn't the case that people were I didn't hear
- 15:57Speaker 4: of that in twenty thirteen or twenty twelve. I'd say
- 16:00Speaker 4: the earliest I heard of that was twenty fourteen, where
- 16:03Speaker 4: people were quote unquote triggered by the flag and this
- 16:06Speaker 4: woman appearing a little older, maybe not my age just yet,
- 16:10Speaker 4: but maybe late thirties, early forties, and she says, I
- 16:14Speaker 4: think it's a little too much, meaning that's not something
- 16:16Speaker 4: you do. So they've all bought into this popular culture
- 16:18Speaker 4: notion that the American flag is somehow wrong one way
- 16:23Speaker 4: or another, and it's not something you wear right, It's
- 16:26Speaker 4: just not something you do. How did we get to
- 16:28Speaker 4: this place? Obviously a constant erosion of values. But I
- 16:32Speaker 4: think there's a little bit left in this clip. Let's
- 16:34Speaker 4: let it finish.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Go ahead, too much, too much, I mean, like America, Like.
- 16:41Speaker 6: I would just walk away.
- 16:42Speaker 4: We come from Kansas, so we are around that a lot.
- 16:46Speaker 4: So you guys are around a lot of American flags. Yeah,
- 16:49Speaker 4: that's the girl I was telling about. She's got a
- 16:52Speaker 4: red hair, very fair skin, and she's like f America.
- 16:57Speaker 4: The other ones didn't say if America. That was her
- 17:00Speaker 4: opening statement. What do you think of somebody wearing an
- 17:02Speaker 4: American flag shirt. I mean, if America we're from Kansas,
- 17:06Speaker 4: we're around that a lot. I mean, that's bizarre if
- 17:09Speaker 4: you tell me that these people are all old enough
- 17:11Speaker 4: to drink. So if these people are all in their twenties, right,
- 17:14Speaker 4: I have a kid that's that age too. Actually, we're
- 17:20Speaker 4: really bad shape, really bad shape. Where are the ones
- 17:24Speaker 4: that love America? If the ones from Kansas sound like that, right?
- 17:28Speaker 4: Used to think, Oh, but that's you know, those are
- 17:30Speaker 4: in those big cities. That's in California. This girl's from Kansas. Yes,
- 17:35Speaker 4: granted they were in California. But I'll just tell you this,
- 17:39Speaker 4: if you think for a second that this Democrat socialist
- 17:45Speaker 4: takeover of America, the Marxist takeover of America what the
- 17:50Speaker 4: great One Mark Levin wrote about years ago in his
- 17:53Speaker 4: book American Marxism is not coming to a town, city,
- 17:57Speaker 4: and school near you. Or better yet, if you don't
- 18:00Speaker 4: see it already active in the town, school, or city
- 18:02Speaker 4: near you, then you're blind. This is not a big
- 18:07Speaker 4: blue city issue. Yeah. Granted you might find a couple
- 18:11Speaker 4: of small towns where you know people are holding on
- 18:15Speaker 4: to their values. But this thing is spreading, And I
- 18:18Speaker 4: would say it's spreading faster than patriotism spreading. It's spreading
- 18:23Speaker 4: faster than being an informed patriot of spreading. It's spreading
- 18:26Speaker 4: faster than the love of America that we once knew.
- 18:32Speaker 4: It's not spreading. Why Why Because we've put an over
- 18:37Speaker 4: alliance on the government. We entrust the government to educate
- 18:40Speaker 4: our children. We entrust the university to educate our children.
- 18:45Speaker 4: So what happens when you get a girl or a
- 18:47Speaker 4: young man that comes out of a teacher's college where
- 18:51Speaker 4: they've been taught, you know, a people's history of the
- 18:54Speaker 4: United States by Howard Zinn. They could care less about
- 18:58Speaker 4: the founding documents of America. And ultimately everything is you know,
- 19:03Speaker 4: everything that America does is bad? And where where is
- 19:09Speaker 4: the The counter to that in our culture today doesn't exist.
- 19:16Speaker 4: It doesn't make this stuff true. It just means if
- 19:18Speaker 4: you've got a lie that's spreading, or even an unpopular
- 19:21Speaker 4: opinion that's spreading, and you've got nobody else pushing back
- 19:25Speaker 4: on it, Like my dad would say, de Chavate, you're screwed.
- 19:32Speaker 4: There's nowhere to go from there. So what does that do?
- 19:34Speaker 4: It opens up the door to allow all sorts of
- 19:37Speaker 4: crazy things happen, right like Governor Tim Walls. Governor Tim
- 19:40Speaker 4: Walls now is pardoning a child sexual assault convict because
- 19:46Speaker 4: they think that that's the right thing to do. Here's
- 19:50Speaker 4: the report from Newsmax on this.
- 19:53Speaker 14: Yeah, it's it's purio, it's shocking. Isn't even a good
- 19:56Speaker 14: enough word for it. Governor Waltz, the governor of Minnesota,
- 20:01Speaker 14: pardoned that man. He is convicted of sexual assault of a.
- 20:06Speaker 15: Ten year old.
- 20:07Speaker 14: And so what the governor did because he was because
- 20:10Speaker 14: he's now been convicted of this, the federal government was
- 20:15Speaker 14: going to remove him from our country, take a convicted
- 20:18Speaker 14: child sex predator out of our country. What did Waltz do?
- 20:22Speaker 14: He pardoned him, which means that the federal government's authority
- 20:27Speaker 14: to remove him from our country then is compromised because
- 20:31Speaker 14: he's not convicted anymore.
- 20:33Speaker 12: This is such a problem here obviously, I mean, DHS
- 20:36Speaker 12: says this decision could now prevent his removal, and the Department,
- 20:40Speaker 12: writing on X quote, Governor Wallace's pardon shielded this child
- 20:43Speaker 12: rapist from removal from our nation. This is the type
- 20:46Speaker 12: of disgusting criminal sanctuary politicians are shamelessly protecting.
- 20:51Speaker 14: And that ten year old sex offender, the sex offender
- 20:55Speaker 14: who attacked this ten year old child is now back
- 20:58Speaker 14: in minnesot.
- 21:00Speaker 12: He's seeing the street.
- 21:01Speaker 3: He's pardoned.
- 21:02Speaker 14: So if you're in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, you're in Saint Cloud,
- 21:06Speaker 14: you're up in Duluth, you know this guy could be
- 21:08Speaker 14: out there with your kids too.
- 21:10Speaker 4: Now get this. The victim, who's now an adult, actually
- 21:15Speaker 4: supported this pardon, writing a letter of support stating that
- 21:19Speaker 4: she'd forgiven mister to lou Vang and made peace with
- 21:25Speaker 4: the abuse in two thousand and five. In two thousand
- 21:27Speaker 4: and six, mister Vang to Louvang pled guilty to first
- 21:31Speaker 4: degree criminal sexual conduct for repeatedly sexually abusing a ten
- 21:36Speaker 4: year old girl repeatedly. He received a plea deal with
- 21:39Speaker 4: no prison time. Over twenty years later, in June of
- 21:42Speaker 4: twenty twenty six, the Minnesota Board of Prisons, including Governor
- 21:45Speaker 4: Tim Walls, A. G. Keith Ellison, and a Supreme Court
- 21:49Speaker 4: justice unanimously granted him a pardon or a reprieve on
- 21:54Speaker 4: this sentence, coming after mister vang and provided community support
- 21:58Speaker 4: letters and received a recommendation from the Clemency Review Commission. Now,
- 22:01Speaker 4: the victim's letter was a big factor. Here a victim
- 22:04Speaker 4: advocate read part of it. She said what happened was wrong,
- 22:07Speaker 4: but after many years she had thought about it, made
- 22:10Speaker 4: peace and forgave him. She believed he had learned and
- 22:12Speaker 4: grown from it, and that the family had suffered enough.
- 22:15Speaker 4: She supported the pardon. The board emphasized that they weighed
- 22:18Speaker 4: the victim's statement of support heavily in their decision, along
- 22:21Speaker 4: with other factors like rehabilitation claims. This is according to
- 22:25Speaker 4: a piece in CBS News Again mister Vang, an immigrant
- 22:28Speaker 4: from Laos who came to the United States as a child.
- 22:31Speaker 4: He was about to be deported. Critics called the pardon disgusting,
- 22:36Speaker 4: arguing that it protects a convicted child sex offender from
- 22:40Speaker 4: removal and this is a threat to public safety. However,
- 22:44Speaker 4: the prosecutors originally brought this case, they opposed the pardon.
- 22:48Speaker 4: I don't know what to make of it. Obviously, if
- 22:49Speaker 4: the family was on board, then hey, they're on board.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Now let's talk about why the victims supported. Public reports
- 22:56Speaker 4: indicate that personal forgiveness after two decades excuse me, belief
- 23:00Speaker 4: in the offender's change, and a desire to move on
- 23:02Speaker 4: with her and her family's lives we're part of it.
- 23:05Speaker 4: The victim's views on forgiveness and clemency vary widely. Some
- 23:09Speaker 4: of them have support for it, others are looking for closure,
- 23:12Speaker 4: others are looking for redemption, others don't want any of
- 23:15Speaker 4: its part, and boards often give a lot of weight
- 23:17Speaker 4: when a victim says they agree with the pardon, as
- 23:21Speaker 4: has happened in this case. It doesn't erase the crime
- 23:24Speaker 4: or change the broader debates about accountability for child sex abuse.
- 23:28Speaker 4: But it does change the fact that this guy wasn't
- 23:31Speaker 4: sent to jail when this happened, and now he gets
- 23:33Speaker 4: to stay in America quite likely, right, because this is
- 23:37Speaker 4: a monkey wrench thrown into the gears here again, that's
- 23:40Speaker 4: according to a report in CBS News. So the question becomes,
- 23:44Speaker 4: is this good bad? Ugly? I think it's not good.
- 23:47Speaker 4: I don't think we should have let this guy go,
- 23:49Speaker 4: but I think now it's a situation where one's hands
- 23:51Speaker 4: are likely tied. Why Well, because first of all, the
- 23:55Speaker 4: guy didn't go to jail period. So I mean, if
- 23:58Speaker 4: I were his lawyer, I'd make the case this guy
- 24:00Speaker 4: I didn't even go to jail in the United States.
- 24:01Speaker 4: Why are we going to send them to jail somewhere else.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Whether that has any bearing on a jury or any
- 24:07Speaker 4: sense legally doesn't matter, right, It's just an argument that
- 24:10Speaker 4: they're going to make, as well as the fact that
- 24:13Speaker 4: the family's on board. So at this point, it seems
- 24:16Speaker 4: like the Walls administration is doing anything and everything they
- 24:19Speaker 4: can to sock it to them, and I would bet
- 24:21Speaker 4: that's probably why the family's involved, right, likely having nothing
- 24:24Speaker 4: to do with this particular case, but just saying, look,
- 24:26Speaker 4: I don't like that guy. It happened a long time ago.
- 24:29Speaker 4: He's a douche. But you know what, we hate the Republicans,
- 24:32Speaker 4: we hate Trump, we hate all those people. So it's
- 24:35Speaker 4: better we stick together and do what we can. This
- 24:37Speaker 4: is again, this is my thought. I know people that
- 24:40Speaker 4: are motivated by this type of hate. I see it
- 24:43Speaker 4: pretty often, right. I think Republicans, conservatives, they tend to
- 24:47Speaker 4: look at issues more than people, and I think Democrats
- 24:50Speaker 4: tend to look at people more than issues, and it
- 24:52Speaker 4: becomes personal quite often for them. So what do you
- 24:55Speaker 4: do in a situation like this? Would you even have
- 24:57Speaker 4: allowed this to happen if this was your child, your daughter,
- 25:00Speaker 4: your granddaughter that was you know, molested sexually somehow by
- 25:04Speaker 4: this guy that was visiting from Laos and stayed here
- 25:08Speaker 4: and now is here and they say, sorry, no, no
- 25:12Speaker 4: jail time for you. Do you accept it?
- 25:15Speaker 8: Oh?
- 25:15Speaker 4: They did? And look at the consequence. Now they're trying
- 25:18Speaker 4: to help the guys stay out of jail. Now is
- 25:19Speaker 4: this the Democrats just never meeting a criminal that they
- 25:23Speaker 4: didn't love. Maybe right, it could be another case of
- 25:26Speaker 4: George Floyd or Kilmar Obrigo Garcia or any of the
- 25:29Speaker 4: other ones. The reality is Democrats are soft on crime.
- 25:32Speaker 4: I want to know your thoughts here eight seven seven
- 25:35Speaker 4: Valdes one eight seven seven valdest one, call and drop
- 25:38Speaker 4: a message. But the reality to me here is that
- 25:41Speaker 4: it seems that it's not that they're soft on crime
- 25:44Speaker 4: per se. I'd say it's more their pro crime. These progressives,
- 25:47Speaker 4: the pro crime progressives will do anything to create bedlam.
- 25:51Speaker 4: I mean, I can tell you New York City is
- 25:54Speaker 4: getting worse and worse. There were some really nice comments
- 25:58Speaker 4: by people visiting for the World Cup going well. Now,
- 26:00Speaker 4: I thought New York was horrible because of the news
- 26:02Speaker 4: i'd heard. I understand, one hundred percent of the time,
- 26:05Speaker 4: you're not going to get robbed one hundred percent of
- 26:07Speaker 4: the time you're not going to get shot. But that
- 26:09Speaker 4: doesn't mean that the quality of life hasn't declined. It
- 26:14Speaker 4: sure has, so let's not conflate, right, But it still
- 26:22Speaker 4: begs the question do democrats love crime? And I'm looking
- 26:25Speaker 4: at a couple of stories just today, right today, yesterday,
- 26:30Speaker 4: it seems that let me see if I could find
- 26:33Speaker 4: this so I can bring it up to you really quick.
- 26:35Speaker 4: Let me know if you guys find it in the studio,
- 26:37Speaker 4: thank you. But a couple of different ones, right, one
- 26:40Speaker 4: in Philly, another one somewhere else. You've got this kid
- 26:45Speaker 4: in Philly commits a crime, and who helps him get away?
- 26:50Speaker 4: Not his friends, Nope, his mom and his stepdad. And
- 26:55Speaker 4: what did the kid do? He killed somebody? All right?
- 26:57Speaker 4: This one's from Newsmax.
- 26:59Speaker 16: This is it's an update to a tragic story we
- 27:02Speaker 16: first brought to you in June. A Penn State senior
- 27:05Speaker 16: just months away from graduation, shot that after chasing the
- 27:08Speaker 16: thieves who stole his phone.
- 27:10Speaker 15: Yeah, over the Fourth of July holiday. Though there was
- 27:12Speaker 15: a major break in the case, the suspected shooters are
- 27:15Speaker 15: now in custody. Both are just sixteen years old. News
- 27:19Speaker 15: Mexican course one at Jason Matera has the ladist Chasin.
- 27:23Speaker 17: Yeah, Mark Charlotte. And not only are both suspects just
- 27:26Speaker 17: sixteen years old, but now we're learning that the mother
- 27:29Speaker 17: and stepfather of one of the juveniles allegedly helped him
- 27:33Speaker 17: flee the state to avoid arrest. The victim, Billy Schmidt,
- 27:37Speaker 17: was twenty two years old, only months away from his diploma,
- 27:41Speaker 17: when he was brutally murdered last month in South Philadelphia
- 27:44Speaker 17: while walking home after watching the NBA Finals with his buddies.
- 27:49Speaker 17: From there, the manhunt was on to bring in his killers.
- 27:52Speaker 17: At the beginning of July, the US Marshals put up
- 27:55Speaker 17: a five thousand dollars reward for information leading to the
- 27:58Speaker 17: arrests of Cassim's Smith and Azubaer out in Fleming. Within
- 28:04Speaker 17: a day of that reward going up, the Marshals tracked
- 28:07Speaker 17: down one of the alleged shooters out in Fleming. Authority
- 28:10Speaker 17: say he was hiding out at a relative's house in
- 28:13Speaker 17: Colorado Springs, and that sixteen year old's mother and stepfather
- 28:18Speaker 17: are now under arrest too. The stepfather is right there
- 28:20Speaker 17: on your screen, charged with hindering apprehension after allegedly helping
- 28:24Speaker 17: their son get out of town knowing that the police
- 28:27Speaker 17: were after him. Kassim Smith, the other sixteen year old
- 28:31Speaker 17: suspect and alleged triggerman, surrendered to the Philadelphia police after
- 28:34Speaker 17: his accused accomplice was arrested out of state, bringing the
- 28:38Speaker 17: month long manhunt to a close. On June sixth, Police
- 28:43Speaker 17: say that Smith and out in Fleming robbed Billy Schmidt
- 28:46Speaker 17: of his phone. When Billy chased after them, Smith allegedly
- 28:49Speaker 17: turned and fired a single shot into his chest, leaving
- 28:54Speaker 17: the twenty two year old to die on the street.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Has missed him so much.
- 29:00Speaker 2: I don't understand how someone could do this. I want
- 29:02Speaker 2: justice for him, for my family.
- 29:07Speaker 17: And for Billie's family. Justice means an aggressive prosecution, but
- 29:12Speaker 17: right now they fear that the defendant's age could become
- 29:14Speaker 17: an excuse for a lenient deal, so they're trying to
- 29:17Speaker 17: get ahead of that possibility, calling on the DA Larry
- 29:20Speaker 17: Krasner to pursue the maximum penalties allowed, something the progressive
- 29:25Speaker 17: prosecutor is not exactly known for in Philadelphia.
- 29:29Speaker 15: Yeah, and I'm not sure what the maximum penalty there
- 29:32Speaker 15: is for a sixteen year old to commit murder, but again,
- 29:34Speaker 15: As you said, they're used to going lenient there in
- 29:37Speaker 15: Philadelphia with that progressive DA and I just I hope
- 29:40Speaker 15: that's not the case.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Me too, I also hope it's not the case, but
- 29:44Speaker 4: sadly that seems to be the case all too often.
- 29:47Speaker 4: So when you create a environment where you know that
- 29:51Speaker 4: you can do whatever you want, the repercussion is what
- 29:55Speaker 4: you're mad at me because I stole your iPhone, I
- 29:57Speaker 4: will shoot you dead in this street. And then ban
- 30:00Speaker 4: he does it, and then it's like, oh, mom, dad,
- 30:02Speaker 4: I shot this guy because I was there. We were
- 30:04Speaker 4: stealing phones, and homeboy shot him. My boy, and I
- 30:07Speaker 4: don't know what to do, all right, don't worry. We'll
- 30:09Speaker 4: call your auntie so and so and she can hide
- 30:11Speaker 4: you out in Colorado Springs. Who are these people? What
- 30:14Speaker 4: is wrong with these people? I'm glad they're all going
- 30:16Speaker 4: to jail this way, you know what. We can keep
- 30:18Speaker 4: the family together, right, No more separation of families that
- 30:21Speaker 4: the left got their way. We're keeping this family nice, intact.
- 30:24Speaker 4: The mom, the dad, the best friend. They get to
- 30:26Speaker 4: all go to jail together. I mean, this is absolutely disgraceful.
- 30:29Speaker 4: It's disgusting. It makes me Honestly, this is a shame.
- 30:33Speaker 4: If someone were to insult me and say, you know what,
- 30:35Speaker 4: in your country, you've got parents in on the whole thing. Now,
- 30:39Speaker 4: I would say that's not true everywhere, right, I'd say
- 30:42Speaker 4: that's a Philly problem because of Larry Krassner, because of
- 30:45Speaker 4: the pro crime progressives that are in the prosecutor's seat
- 30:49Speaker 4: in so many of these cities, thanks to George Soros
- 30:52Speaker 4: and Singham and the others that fund these type of things.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Here we are. They can't change the rules, so they
- 30:57Speaker 4: figured they'll change the uh, the top cop. Absolute disgrace.
- 31:02Speaker 4: And again this is in isolated. These things happen over
- 31:04Speaker 4: and over and over. I got another one here, fifteen
- 31:07Speaker 4: year old. Those two kids were sixteen years old. This
- 31:09Speaker 4: one is fifteen years old. This one decided to kill
- 31:12Speaker 4: the mail woman. Listen to this.
- 31:14Speaker 1: A miner who pleaded guilty to killing a postal worker
- 31:17Speaker 1: will spend five years in juvenile detention. Octavia Redmond was
- 31:21Speaker 1: killed in July of twenty twenty four while she was
- 31:23Speaker 1: delivering mail. The juvenile got out of a stolen vehicle
- 31:27Speaker 1: has shot her multiple times at close range. That person
- 31:30Speaker 1: pleaded guilty to murdering her last month.
- 31:32Speaker 4: I can't pick this up. I'm speechless, honestly. I mean,
- 31:35Speaker 4: everybody's just shooting everybody. What is going on here? All
- 31:39Speaker 4: I could say is I think President Trump is right.
- 31:41Speaker 4: When you have Marxists further from the Fabian School or
- 31:45Speaker 4: the call Mark School or whatever, communist sympathizers, collectivists, these
- 31:50Speaker 4: anti law and order wackos are destroying the quality of
- 31:54Speaker 4: life for Americans all over the place, and I think
- 31:57Speaker 4: it's getting worse instead of getting better. I don't know
- 31:59Speaker 4: what you think. Let me know. Eight seven seven Valdez one,
- 32:03Speaker 4: eight seven seven Valdez one. Keep it lock right here.
- 32:06Speaker 4: I'm Rich Valdez.
- 32:07Speaker 2: This is America, this is America.
- 32:26Speaker 9: The forty fifth President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor
- 32:29Speaker 9: to speak with Rich Valdez.
- 32:31Speaker 4: Oh very good, Yeah, bug an honor. Thanks, The honor
- 32:37Speaker 4: is all yours. Conservative talk with a dash of sofrito.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Now here's Rich Valdez, all right for me? Yeah, welcome back,
- 32:47Speaker 4: Rich Valdez, keeping you company this Monday night. Happy to
- 32:50Speaker 4: be here. Happy birthday America to fifty and after a
- 32:53Speaker 4: few days off for the Fourth of July celebration, our
- 32:56Speaker 4: two hundred and fiftieth Fourth of July celebration. I can
- 33:00Speaker 4: nveniently skipped the heat wave, and many people went through it.
- 33:04Speaker 4: And the New Yorkers in the area were told by
- 33:07Speaker 4: their fearless leader that they need to change the temperature
- 33:11Speaker 4: on their thermostats. That's right. New York City Mayor Zoram
- 33:15Speaker 4: Mamdani told business owners and residents the following.
- 33:19Speaker 3: And to every business owner, please set your thermostats to
- 33:22Speaker 3: seventy eight degrees to alleviate the stress on our power grid.
- 33:26Speaker 4: Now that was just a couple of days before he
- 33:29Speaker 4: decided to go all out Kami and put it all
- 33:34Speaker 4: out there. And by that, I mean giving a speech
- 33:36Speaker 4: about why America is so unequal, so unfair, so much
- 33:41Speaker 4: worse than most of us thought it was.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Listen to this as we mark two hundred and fifty years,
- 33:47Speaker 3: what do we see. We see a city of contradictions
- 33:51Speaker 3: within a nation of contradictions. We see the wealthiest country
- 33:55Speaker 3: in the history of the world, one where children go
- 33:57Speaker 3: to sleep hungry, while the world's first billionaire hungers for more.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Hold it now, now, I just want to point out,
- 34:05Speaker 4: by contrast the United States, less than one percent of
- 34:10Speaker 4: kids in the United States go to bed hungry. They
- 34:12Speaker 4: call that a severe reduction in food intake when you
- 34:15Speaker 4: have to skip a meal to go to bed hungry.
- 34:17Speaker 4: Zero point nine percent of American children experience severe reductions
- 34:23Speaker 4: in food intake zero point nine percent. For country our size,
- 34:27Speaker 4: I'd say that's one of the best in the world now,
- 34:29Speaker 4: as a handful of very smaller countries that you know,
- 34:32Speaker 4: do better than that less than one percent number that
- 34:34Speaker 4: we have. But what is mum Donie talking about? All right?
- 34:39Speaker 4: He's trying to make it look like because Elon Musk
- 34:43Speaker 4: is listing his new company for a trillion dollars on
- 34:47Speaker 4: the stock exchange, that's somehow that's starving a kid. I
- 34:52Speaker 4: come from a place where I learned very early in life,
- 34:55Speaker 4: I'm not going to get fat off of what you eat.
- 34:57Speaker 4: And the same works in reverse the tape.
- 35:00Speaker 3: We see monopolies that dominate every industry and oligarchs who
- 35:05Speaker 3: buy elections. We see massed agents terrorizing our streets, eating
- 35:09Speaker 3: food cooked by our undocumented neighbors before spiriting them away
- 35:13Speaker 3: in unmarked vans.
- 35:14Speaker 4: This is so filled with hyperbole. This guy should have
- 35:16Speaker 4: been a poet. He's saying that the ice agents are
- 35:19Speaker 4: eating food made by the legal immigrants right before they
- 35:22Speaker 4: arrest him. I mean, it's I understand what he's trying
- 35:25Speaker 4: to get at, and it's working, right. I mean, he's
- 35:27Speaker 4: getting to the heart of these people, and that's what
- 35:30Speaker 4: he wants to do. He wants to tug on the
- 35:31Speaker 4: heart strings. But the reality is he doesn't have a
- 35:34Speaker 4: leg to stand on here. Ice enforcement is just that.
- 35:37Speaker 4: Take off the mask. Then what you're all for? Ice enforcement?
- 35:39Speaker 4: I think Matt, you're one of those sanctuary city crazies
- 35:42Speaker 4: because this doesn't mean that me or anybody else that
- 35:45Speaker 4: I know is necessarily against immigration overall. I think immigrants
- 35:51Speaker 4: are great. I love the immigrants. My issue here is
- 35:55Speaker 4: with an unchecked system. Right, we have to have rules.
- 35:59Speaker 4: We have to wor's the rules. We have to have
- 36:01Speaker 4: an account for who's in the country and be able
- 36:04Speaker 4: to say who and when gets in. We don't have that,
- 36:06Speaker 4: and I think that's obvious. Go ahead, we.
- 36:09Speaker 3: See a nation whose immense wealth has been built by
- 36:12Speaker 3: those with callous, dirt streaked hands, those who toil on
- 36:16Speaker 3: factory floors and chisel into stone.
- 36:18Speaker 4: All right, hold on, So a nation whose wealth was
- 36:22Speaker 4: built by He's trying to say, hard work, right, my
- 36:24Speaker 4: people that are laboring. But I don't know. Let's see
- 36:27Speaker 4: of the billionaires that are around today. Like one of
- 36:30Speaker 4: the top billionaires I see is Trump? Right, Trump's billionaire.
- 36:33Speaker 4: He's the president of the United States, his profession builder.
- 36:37Speaker 4: So is he the guy that mum dan he's talking about,
- 36:39Speaker 4: you know, chiseled hands from building. I don't know. I
- 36:41Speaker 4: would doubt that that's what he's talking about. Is he
- 36:44Speaker 4: talking about Jeff Bezos who started Amazon? Or is he
- 36:47Speaker 4: talking about Elon Musk and his chiseled hands and dusty hands.
- 36:51Speaker 4: Who's he talking about, obviously not the people who have
- 36:54Speaker 4: the wealth. He's talking about the people that work for
- 36:58Speaker 4: the people that have the wealth. Yet he's seemingly conflating
- 37:01Speaker 4: the two.
- 37:02Speaker 3: And we see a nation that has allowed so much
- 37:04Speaker 3: of that wealth to be held instead and the soft
- 37:07Speaker 3: hands of a precious few.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Ah. There it is, right, trying to make it look like, hey,
- 37:12Speaker 4: we do all the hard work and you get all
- 37:13Speaker 4: the money. Then don't work for that guy. Do it
- 37:16Speaker 4: yourself and you'll be the next Elon Musk. Right, wouldn't
- 37:18Speaker 4: that be true, mister mum donney if it worked that way.
- 37:20Speaker 4: What's true here is that this idea, and I'm going
- 37:25Speaker 4: to repeat it again that what I eat will make
- 37:27Speaker 4: you fat is a falsehood. Because people are rich doesn't
- 37:30Speaker 4: make anybody else poor. Nobody's going hungry because Trump is
- 37:35Speaker 4: building a new building, because Musk is building a new
- 37:38Speaker 4: spaceship or a new social media platform or buying one. Sadly,
- 37:41Speaker 4: that's just fake, phony and fraud. Wish I wish it
- 37:45Speaker 4: were true, because then we could fix it. Right, then
- 37:47Speaker 4: we could just turn around and say, oh, well, then
- 37:48Speaker 4: if we don't do this, it's a lie. It's a lie,
- 37:52Speaker 4: and they create this lie to demonize the wealthy. Now,
- 37:55Speaker 4: if there weren't a wealthy, would they care about poverty?
- 37:57Speaker 4: That's the bigger question. Well, what do you mean, Rache, Well,
- 38:01Speaker 4: I mean this, take countries that don't have billionaires. Right.
- 38:05Speaker 4: What are some of the countries that don't have billionaires? Right,
- 38:07Speaker 4: Let's go to where Mamdani is from. He's from the
- 38:10Speaker 4: continent of Africa, He's from Uganda. If you look at
- 38:13Speaker 4: some of their neighbors at Kenya, for example, Kenya, forty
- 38:18Speaker 4: three percent of the population lives in poverty, surviving on
- 38:22Speaker 4: less than three US dollars per day. This accounts for
- 38:26Speaker 4: how many people in the country. Twenty million people in
- 38:29Speaker 4: Kenya live that way, right. The wealth divide in Kenya's
- 38:33Speaker 4: immense according to some of the stuff I'm looking here
- 38:37Speaker 4: from Oxfam International, no record billionaires or no billionaires of
- 38:42Speaker 4: record from Kenya. None from Ethiopia either, if I'm not mistaken, right,
- 38:48Speaker 4: So you have these two countries. Yet Ethiopia has been
- 38:51Speaker 4: since I was a kid, infamous for kids going to
- 38:54Speaker 4: bed hungary. So who are we blaming it on theres
- 39:00Speaker 4: that are going hungry? Where you see their bellies distended,
- 39:02Speaker 4: they have no food, they have worms growing in their bellies.
- 39:05Speaker 4: You're gonna blame that on who Trump elon Musk that
- 39:10Speaker 4: the soft hands of a few. There are no soft
- 39:13Speaker 4: hands over there. There are no billionaires in Kenya. So
- 39:17Speaker 4: now who do we blame? Mister Mondani? Of course, there's
- 39:20Speaker 4: no one to blame. So now you don't care. And
- 39:24Speaker 4: that's my issue with these quote unquote progressives, quote unquote
- 39:29Speaker 4: Fabian society quote unquote collectivists, communist sympathizers, communist comrades, socialists,
- 39:38Speaker 4: democratic socialists. They're all birds of a feather. They all
- 39:41Speaker 4: believe in Marxism, right, something that President Trump spoke so
- 39:45Speaker 4: eloquently about how we're not going to let that happen.
- 39:47Speaker 4: We're not going to let that break up the country.
- 39:49Speaker 4: We're not going to allow that to reverse all the
- 39:51Speaker 4: hard work that was done here. You've got some people
- 39:55Speaker 4: with the resources, the will, the desire, the indust streiousness,
- 40:00Speaker 4: the network, the vision, the persuasive ability, everything that you
- 40:06Speaker 4: need to send this country into the industrial evolution that
- 40:09Speaker 4: it experienced. And we're supposed to tell all of those
- 40:13Speaker 4: guys who made so much money back then that they're
- 40:17Speaker 4: family today, which we call NEPO babies. That continues the
- 40:21Speaker 4: tradition that somehow they're bad, somehow they're wrong, somehow they've
- 40:27Speaker 4: done something to be apologetic instead of proud, right right.
- 40:32Speaker 4: Imagine if you're Anderson Cooper, right, I think his grandfather
- 40:35Speaker 4: built Grand Central Station, I would be super proud of that.
- 40:41Speaker 4: You could trust and believe my number one date spot
- 40:44Speaker 4: would be the restaurants in Grand Central Station, and I'd
- 40:47Speaker 4: be like, you know, my grandfather built this place. Cool. Huh, yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 4: I would. I think that's something you should be incredibly
- 40:56Speaker 4: proud of. But yet somehow they want these people to
- 40:59Speaker 4: feel bad. They want them, you know, to be silver
- 41:03Speaker 4: spoon socialists. You should feel bad that you lived so
- 41:07Speaker 4: well while so many others were Why should you feel bad?
- 41:10Speaker 4: I wouldn't feel bad. I wouldn't at all. I think, listen,
- 41:16Speaker 4: everybody has their lot in life, and there's opportunity for many.
- 41:20Speaker 4: I use myself as an example. Often times I've been
- 41:22Speaker 4: through tough times. I go through them at different points
- 41:26Speaker 4: in my life in my career. We all do. But
- 41:30Speaker 4: it doesn't change the fact that I was a kid
- 41:33Speaker 4: grew up with my parents in Brooklyn. They had both
- 41:35Speaker 4: come from Puerto Rico. They tried to make it here.
- 41:39Speaker 4: My mom cleaned homes and offices. My dad was a
- 41:43Speaker 4: doorman and he worked in a cardboard factory until he was,
- 41:47Speaker 4: you know, too sick to work. And I understand the
- 41:52Speaker 4: hard work that they went through. I remember what it
- 41:54Speaker 4: was like growing up as a kid. We didn't have pets,
- 41:56Speaker 4: but we did have mice, right. I remember that cockroaches.
- 42:00Speaker 4: I remember that too. It wasn't an easy existence for
- 42:05Speaker 4: us growing up. I remember there was a cheese surplus
- 42:08Speaker 4: and President Reagan sending these blocks of government cheese out
- 42:12Speaker 4: to the communities, and standing on a line with my
- 42:16Speaker 4: siblings and collecting a block of government cheese. I remember
- 42:20Speaker 4: that like yesterday. Is it something that I'm proud of. No,
- 42:23Speaker 4: I'd be proud of Grand Central Station, that's for sure.
- 42:27Speaker 4: So my point to he is, you know, today I
- 42:29Speaker 4: get to say, not once, not twice, but three times.
- 42:33Speaker 4: I've been listed as one of the most important radio
- 42:36Speaker 4: talk show hosts in America from Talkers Magazine on their
- 42:39Speaker 4: heavy hundred list. Proud of that, Proud to say I
- 42:44Speaker 4: took over a show that had legends hosting it prior
- 42:47Speaker 4: to me, like Jim O'Hannon and Larry King. On a
- 42:51Speaker 4: number of occasions, I've hosted the second largest talk radio
- 42:56Speaker 4: show in America, the Mark Levin Show. I get to
- 42:58Speaker 4: count him as one of my mentor and a friend.
- 43:01Speaker 4: I think I've had some very good fortune and I
- 43:04Speaker 4: give the glory and the credit for that to God.
- 43:07Speaker 4: People say, but you have a talent and hard work
- 43:09Speaker 4: all that again, like Russia, Limbo would say, on loan
- 43:12Speaker 4: from God, and that's the truth. All things lead back
- 43:17Speaker 4: to the Lord. Now, the Communists would likely argue also
- 43:20Speaker 4: that if they're hungry, that's because they're in sin because
- 43:22Speaker 4: of this. Because of that, that's the theological debate will
- 43:24Speaker 4: have another day. I would say no, I would say that,
- 43:27Speaker 4: you know, God didn't promise us an easy time or
- 43:31Speaker 4: a good time. He promised to be there with us
- 43:34Speaker 4: while we went through all the times. But that's not
- 43:38Speaker 4: the point of this, right. The point of this here
- 43:40Speaker 4: is that they blame people's success with others failure. They
- 43:44Speaker 4: blame other's wealth with someone else's poverty, and that is
- 43:51Speaker 4: a faulty assumption. This is not like you're at a party.
- 43:54Speaker 4: They put out a pizza pie, there's eight slices, and
- 43:58Speaker 4: the one fat guy there, call him Richie, wants to
- 44:01Speaker 4: have seven slices and leaves one for everybody else that's
- 44:04Speaker 4: in the party, and there's only eight people in the party. Right,
- 44:08Speaker 4: So that's not the reality of the life that we
- 44:11Speaker 4: live in. If I buy my own slice of pizza
- 44:14Speaker 4: and I eat eight slices, you're not going hungry because
- 44:17Speaker 4: I bought my pizza. You're going hungry because you don't
- 44:21Speaker 4: have money to buy your own. Now. Is it incumbent
- 44:25Speaker 4: upon me, based on my faith and my outlook on
- 44:27Speaker 4: life to share what I have? Maybe hopefully, But that
- 44:32Speaker 4: doesn't mean that that's the reason you don't have. The
- 44:34Speaker 4: reason you don't work. The reason you haven't amassed wealth.
- 44:39Speaker 4: One has nothing to do with the other. And yet
- 44:42Speaker 4: the communists, the leftist, the progressive, the democrat, whatever you
- 44:46Speaker 4: want to call them, right, because they have so many
- 44:47Speaker 4: names for themselves. They're constantly mad at someone. It's based
- 44:52Speaker 4: on envy. I don't envy anybody. If I didn't make
- 44:55Speaker 4: it in the radio business, I wasn't gonna turn around
- 44:58Speaker 4: and be like, Oh, it's because a bunch of old
- 44:59Speaker 4: white men. It is all right, it's a bunch of
- 45:01Speaker 4: old white men. What was I going to do turn
- 45:03Speaker 4: around and say, oh, it's a bunch of old white men.
- 45:05Speaker 4: They didn't want a young Querto Rican guy on the
- 45:06Speaker 4: air waves. Would that be true? I don't think so.
- 45:10Speaker 4: Why because I proved it wrong. I've had a great
- 45:13Speaker 4: time on the air. Now we're doing streaming. Now we're
- 45:15Speaker 4: doing TV with Roku. Roku just got bought by Fox
- 45:18Speaker 4: Corporation for twenty two billion dollars. It's only getting bigger.
- 45:23Speaker 4: Made this deal six months ago at ninety million subscriber households.
- 45:28Speaker 4: Now we're up to one hundred million subscriber households on Roku.
- 45:32Speaker 4: That's growth. I can't blame that on someone else because
- 45:38Speaker 4: people are watching soccer, they're not watching my show. Even
- 45:41Speaker 4: if that were to be true in these months in
- 45:43Speaker 4: the summer, right during the World Cup, does it make sense?
- 45:47Speaker 4: So I wanted to point that out because this mom, Donnie,
- 45:50Speaker 4: he's doing so much damage to America, as is everyone
- 45:55Speaker 4: else that's of his ilk right, whether it's AOC, Bernie
- 46:01Speaker 4: Sanders and the rest of them. These people, they believe
- 46:05Speaker 4: in something that doesn't work. There's never been a successful
- 46:10Speaker 4: example of it working. The only one they've got is China,
- 46:13Speaker 4: and they need capitalism to do it. And I don't
- 46:16Speaker 4: like going down this road too much because it's hard
- 46:18Speaker 4: to make this stuff funny and it's hard to have
- 46:19Speaker 4: a good time when you're talking about this. But I
- 46:22Speaker 4: think it's got to be spoken about. We've got to
- 46:24Speaker 4: have a discussion about this stuff because all too often
- 46:27Speaker 4: people buy into this stuff and then they're mad because
- 46:29Speaker 4: they feel slighted, because again, this is based on envy.
- 46:33Speaker 4: If we didn't have this feeling of envy, if they
- 46:36Speaker 4: couldn't use that against you to make you feel like
- 46:40Speaker 4: you realize that these people are going hungry, and this
- 46:42Speaker 4: guy's got a Rolls Royce who cares that guy's hungry,
- 46:47Speaker 4: give them a sandwich. If you don't want to give
- 46:49Speaker 4: them a sandwich, find someone that can figure out a
- 46:53Speaker 4: way to make extra money to do that. Don't tell
- 46:55Speaker 4: me that I got to do it. If I'm so
- 46:57Speaker 4: led by the Lord to be charitable, I'll do. I
- 47:01Speaker 4: donate a percentage of my income to my local church
- 47:04Speaker 4: I have since I was a teenager. Good. Great, that's
- 47:08Speaker 4: what I do. I don't know what you do. Well,
- 47:10Speaker 4: I'll tell you what I don't do. I don't tell
- 47:12Speaker 4: my neighbor to go ahead and say, hey, listen, bro,
- 47:14Speaker 4: you should be feeding every last guy that comes across
- 47:17Speaker 4: here hungry because you know they're they're hungry because you
- 47:21Speaker 4: own the house next to me. No straight lies. It's nonsense.
- 47:25Speaker 4: It sounds like nonsense because it is. It's fake. It's phony,
- 47:29Speaker 4: and it's fraud. And that's what Mam Donnie is. Anyway,
- 47:31Speaker 4: speaking of Mom Donnie, coming back, we're gonna talk about
- 47:33Speaker 4: these two daredevils that decided to climb the Empire State Building,
- 47:36Speaker 4: plus Trump's trip to Europe for the NATO discussion that
- 47:40Speaker 4: he's about to have, and so much more before we
- 47:42Speaker 4: wrap up. Keep it locked right here, I'm Rich Valdes.
- 47:45Speaker 2: This is America. This is America.
- 48:09Speaker 4: He's making podcasting great again.
- 48:12Speaker 2: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 48:22Speaker 4: Through this evening.
- 48:23Speaker 11: Traveling to Turkey for this week's NATO summit, President plans
- 48:26Speaker 11: to meet with the leaders of Ukraine and Syria Wednesday.
- 48:30Speaker 11: The gathering comes amid Iran's massive memorial for its late
- 48:33Speaker 11: Supreme leader killed during US and Israeli air strikes in February,
- 48:37Speaker 11: of course, by Alexandria Hall, who is live in the
- 48:40Speaker 11: North lawn of the White House with the latest good
- 48:42Speaker 11: to Me Alex.
- 48:43Speaker 18: Good evening, Brett. Yes, President Trump is expected to arrive
- 48:45Speaker 18: in on Kara tomorrow afternoon, and once there, a stunning
- 48:49Speaker 18: regional contrast is going to be on display. In Turkey.
- 48:51Speaker 18: The red Carpet's going to be rolled out for President Trump.
- 48:54Speaker 18: Then right next door in Iran regime sympathizers dressed in
- 48:57Speaker 18: all black, they chant death to America. It's as much
- 49:03Speaker 18: a funeral procession as it is a state sponsored show
- 49:06Speaker 18: of opposition to the US. Iran's new leadership, parading the
- 49:10Speaker 18: casket of Ayatola Ali Hamani in order to rally calls
- 49:13Speaker 18: for retribution the late Supreme leader was killed in US
- 49:16Speaker 18: air strikes back in February. President Trump said last week
- 49:19Speaker 18: his administration gave Iran the week off for the funeral,
- 49:22Speaker 18: quote because we're nice, adding today.
- 49:25Speaker 13: Look, we're going to win one way or the other.
- 49:27Speaker 13: We're either going to make a deal or we're going
- 49:28Speaker 13: to finish the job. Okay, and it won't be tough
- 49:31Speaker 13: to finish the job. I'd rather make a deal because
- 49:35Speaker 13: I don't want to affect ninety one million people.
- 49:38Speaker 18: What the President does want is more support from NATO
- 49:40Speaker 18: members in the fight to denuclearize Iran. That's on top
- 49:43Speaker 18: of the continued demand that European allies increased defense spending.
- 49:47Speaker 18: President Trump said last month he wouldn't be attending the
- 49:50Speaker 18: endkar A summit if not for Turkish President Airdiwan.
- 49:53Speaker 2: I like him.
- 49:54Speaker 6: He's a preend of mine, and he stayed out of
- 49:56Speaker 6: the war.
- 49:57Speaker 18: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, though, hasn discerns over the
- 50:00Speaker 18: defense support Turkey seeks from the US.
- 50:03Speaker 5: Look, Turkey is a great country, but it's governed by
- 50:07Speaker 5: a man who calls openly for the annihilation of Israel.
- 50:10Speaker 18: On the NATO sidelines. Wednesday, President Trump is set to
- 50:13Speaker 18: meet with Siria's new president off Midel Shirah and President Zelenski,
- 50:17Speaker 18: saying this today about a potential peace deal between Russia
- 50:20Speaker 18: and Ukraine.
- 50:21Speaker 6: This is one that I think we're getting much closer
- 50:23Speaker 6: than people realize.
- 50:24Speaker 18: Before departing on the high stakes trip, President Trump made
- 50:27Speaker 18: history in the Oval Office, bringing both the New York
- 50:31Speaker 18: Stock Exchange and Nasdaq opening bells to celebrate the July
- 50:35Speaker 18: fourth launch of the Trump Accounts program, aimed at benefiting
- 50:38Speaker 18: the next generation. Well, today's strip is going to be
- 50:40Speaker 18: a quick turnaround for President Trump. This summit wraps up
- 50:43Speaker 18: on Wednesday with a news conference.
- 50:44Speaker 4: Bred all right, that's a report from the Fox News
- 50:47Speaker 4: channel on what's going on all things Washington. And this
- 50:53Speaker 4: is a high stakes meeting, right. President Trump has been
- 50:55Speaker 4: blasting the NATO people, blasting them because they didn't get
- 50:59Speaker 4: him involved in the Iran conflict, in particular clearing minds
- 51:04Speaker 4: from the Strait of Hormoz, and he praises I don't
- 51:09Speaker 4: want to use the word praises, but he says Erdawan's
- 51:11Speaker 4: a friend of his and he's grateful that he didn't
- 51:13Speaker 4: get involved in the war. And this is where it's problematic. Right,
- 51:17Speaker 4: because you've got Turkey and NATO. Now, of course, Turkey's
- 51:21Speaker 4: been a member of NATO since inception in nineteen fifty two.
- 51:25Speaker 4: But the question is, was a NATO member going to
- 51:31Speaker 4: get into this war against the United States? What would
- 51:34Speaker 4: that have looked like. Obviously Trump saying hey, look I
- 51:38Speaker 4: need your help with this. I'd like your help with
- 51:41Speaker 4: this clearing of the Strait of Hormuz and nothing happening.
- 51:45Speaker 4: I think kind of a set a precedent for those
- 51:47Speaker 4: that say, hey, look, maybe we want to get in
- 51:49Speaker 4: with the other guys. Or maybe Turkey was just posturing
- 51:52Speaker 4: the whole time, saying, hey, look we're going to get
- 51:54Speaker 4: into it against we don't like Israel, and let's get
- 51:57Speaker 4: into it against them. I don't know the play, you know,
- 52:00Speaker 4: if it was just let me see what kind of
- 52:02Speaker 4: good will I could muster up by talking a little
- 52:04Speaker 4: smack over here. But I do know that it would
- 52:08Speaker 4: have made things a lot worse had it actually happened.
- 52:10Speaker 4: So I think President Trump was wise to not skip
- 52:14Speaker 4: this meeting at Ankara and make sure that he's there to,
- 52:19Speaker 4: you know, keep things smooth with Erdawan and not see
- 52:22Speaker 4: some sort of Turkish Iranian alliance emerge, and I guess
- 52:26Speaker 4: we'll learn more about that in you know, the next
- 52:29Speaker 4: day or two as they unfold this conference in Turkey.
- 52:34Speaker 4: But I want to get back to something I mentioned before,
- 52:37Speaker 4: which was these dared Devils, because I thought it was
- 52:38Speaker 4: really interesting. This couple, a man and a woman dressed
- 52:42Speaker 4: like batman and catwoman, were seen climbing the Empire State
- 52:46Speaker 4: Building at the highest part, like from the observation deck
- 52:49Speaker 4: all the way up to the top, the very very
- 52:52Speaker 4: top of the antenna. There was nothing left for these
- 52:55Speaker 4: guys to climb and really just absolutely bus are but
- 53:01Speaker 4: it broke the internet just a couple of days back.
- 53:03Speaker 4: Listen to this.
- 53:03Speaker 10: Do have shoes on? The gentleman had white sneakers on.
- 53:06Speaker 10: They are of course wearing head covering so that they
- 53:09Speaker 10: are not revealing their identity at least right for nat.
- 53:13Speaker 10: Right now, I'm not exactly sure what's going on here.
- 53:16Speaker 10: It looks like the man is is he proposing to her?
- 53:19Speaker 10: It's a little unclear what's going on. It looks like
- 53:21Speaker 10: he's proposing to her. He kneeled down, said something to her,
- 53:25Speaker 10: and now they are kissing at the top of the
- 53:28Speaker 10: Empire State Buildings. Is unbelievable. So it looks like these
- 53:30Speaker 10: two have or the gentleman has proposed to her, and
- 53:35Speaker 10: just an unbelievable situation out here. They are still way
- 53:39Speaker 10: up the Empire State Building, about thirteen hundred feet or
- 53:43Speaker 10: so I estimate, up in the air. Both of them
- 53:45Speaker 10: do have shoes on.
- 53:47Speaker 4: Isn't that wild? They hung a band. After the guy
- 53:51Speaker 4: gets on one knee, puts the ring on her finger,
- 53:54Speaker 4: she says yes. He gives her a big kiss. They hug,
- 53:57Speaker 4: and then they climb to the very very top of
- 53:59Speaker 4: the antenna. They were at the platform. Then they climbed
- 54:02Speaker 4: to the very top of the antenna and they put
- 54:06Speaker 4: up a sign. I think it says, when the love
- 54:09Speaker 4: of power meets the power of love, then the world
- 54:12Speaker 4: will know, or something to that effect. You know, some
- 54:16Speaker 4: silly saying that was all over the place, and everybody
- 54:19Speaker 4: was putting it all over their social media, and I
- 54:23Speaker 4: just thought the whole thing was nuts, and that they
- 54:26Speaker 4: actually survived, to me was crazy. Now, of course, you know,
- 54:31Speaker 4: if the helicopters, the news helicopters and the police helicopters
- 54:34Speaker 4: seeing what's going on with these people climbing the Empire
- 54:37Speaker 4: State Building once they figure out it's not terrorism, but
- 54:39Speaker 4: these guys are Daredevil's trying to break some sort of record.
- 54:43Speaker 4: Well guess what they decided, Okay, We're going to send
- 54:46Speaker 4: in our team to arrest them. And the cops started
- 54:49Speaker 4: playing Spider Man as well, going in there, the Emergency
- 54:51Speaker 4: Services Unit, climbing and doing what you do every time
- 54:54Speaker 4: you see them, like trying to get a jumper or
- 54:55Speaker 4: anything like that. These very very very brave men and
- 54:59Speaker 4: women go in there, and I don't know if there's
- 55:01Speaker 4: any women. I just said that to be politically correct,
- 55:04Speaker 4: but I've only ever seen men do that type of work.
- 55:07Speaker 4: And thank God for them, because if I had to
- 55:09Speaker 4: do it, I'd slip and fall for sure. Guaranteed. I
- 55:12Speaker 4: look down on an escalator and I get a little woozy.
- 55:14Speaker 4: My hands starts to sweat eye, I feel like I'm
- 55:16Speaker 4: losing my balance just from looking at the heights. So
- 55:20Speaker 4: these guys deserve all the credit in the world, including
- 55:22Speaker 4: the future bride and groom. But this is what it
- 55:26Speaker 4: sounded like from the police body cam footage watched us.
- 55:38Speaker 5: Hello, how you doing?
- 55:42Speaker 3: You stay where you are?
- 55:44Speaker 4: It's got to be the politest cop in the world,
- 55:46Speaker 4: right These two people dressed in black climbing the Empire
- 55:48Speaker 4: State Building. Hello, how you doing? Could you just stay
- 55:51Speaker 4: right there? Please?
- 55:53Speaker 7: Bob?
- 55:53Speaker 5: You're good?
- 55:56Speaker 19: How you doing.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Well?
- 55:58Speaker 3: You can't be up here?
- 56:02Speaker 6: Law?
- 56:07Speaker 5: All right?
- 56:11Speaker 3: All right?
- 56:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm okay, Yeah, rom here is.
- 56:19Speaker 4: He now has his hand around her bicyc and she
- 56:23Speaker 4: turned around to get handcuffs, so she knew the drill.
- 56:27Speaker 3: I've bring heard another side.
- 56:29Speaker 6: You're going over there.
- 56:31Speaker 15: Just bring her over there so he can come down
- 56:34Speaker 15: before he goes back up.
- 56:37Speaker 3: Well, long did you guys speak?
- 56:42Speaker 4: This duo is the married couple couple dating couple that
- 56:47Speaker 4: was featured on a Netflix documentary about their particular daredevil activities.
- 56:53Speaker 4: Their names are Angela Nicolao, thirty three years old, and
- 56:56Speaker 4: Ivan Kunstanov he's thirty two yearsyears old, also known as
- 57:01Speaker 4: Ivan Birkis. They climbed the one four and fifty four
- 57:05Speaker 4: foot antenna of the Empire State Building in New York City.
- 57:08Speaker 4: The couple famously unfurled a peace banner that got them
- 57:13Speaker 4: in trouble, but only after they got engaged. Engaged at
- 57:19Speaker 4: the top of the Empire State Building. Really really wild stuff, man,
- 57:23Speaker 4: but hey, kudos to them, right, I think that's a
- 57:26Speaker 4: pretty cool story, and I would love to interview I
- 57:31Speaker 4: would love to interview them anyway, he goes, that's all
- 57:36Speaker 4: I've got for today. We're gonna have full analysis on
- 57:39Speaker 4: what's going on in Turkey with the NATO summit at
- 57:43Speaker 4: Ankara with President Trump, President Erdawan and the rest of
- 57:49Speaker 4: the NATO allies in their meeting, as well as everything
- 57:52Speaker 4: else that's going on in the news. There's plenty to discuss.
- 57:56Speaker 4: I barely touched on the red card controversy with the
- 58:00Speaker 4: World Cup. Of course, the United States did lose the game,
- 58:02Speaker 4: but there was a whole lot to that in some
- 58:03Speaker 4: audio that I wanted to play. Maybe it's pass a
- 58:06Speaker 4: by tomorrow. The Trump accounts, I wanted to get into
- 58:08Speaker 4: a little bit more of that. We kind of did
- 58:10Speaker 4: just a cursory report on the news there and I
- 58:15Speaker 4: have calls. I got to get to some calls as well.
- 58:17Speaker 4: So all of that's coming up on the next edition
- 58:19Speaker 4: of This is America. But until then, I say, you
- 58:22Speaker 4: have to stand for something, because if you stand for nothing,
- 58:25Speaker 4: you'll fall for anything. And the only thing necessary for
- 58:29Speaker 4: evil to triumph is for good people like you to
- 58:32Speaker 4: sit there and do nothing. So do something I start
- 58:34Speaker 4: at roxima until the next time America. I am Rich
- 58:37Speaker 4: Valdez and this is America.
- 58:41Speaker 2: This is America, standing.
- 59:05Speaker 19: Standing standing standing standing standing standing standing standing.
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: Yeah,
