- 0:14Speaker 3: We've got to him. Coming up.
- 0:15Speaker 2: We'll get to Iran, We'll get to King Charles. We'll
- 0:19Speaker 2: get to President Trump and Mom, Donnie and a whole
- 0:22Speaker 2: we'll get to Jimmy Kimmel and a whole lot more
- 0:25Speaker 2: coming up. So just to warn you, Prince Charles coming
- 0:30Speaker 2: to New York. I still call him Prince Charles. He
- 0:34Speaker 2: was Prince Charles for so many years. King Charles will
- 0:38Speaker 2: be coming to New York. He hasn't been here in
- 0:41Speaker 2: nineteen years. It's his first trip in nineteen years. But
- 0:43Speaker 2: he's coming to New York and he'll be all over
- 0:45Speaker 2: the place. So be careful driving. In fact, stay away
- 0:50Speaker 2: from New York City if you're driving right now. It's
- 0:52Speaker 2: going to be a traffic mess because of the security.
- 0:54Speaker 2: He'll be downtown at the nine to eleven Memorial World
- 0:58Speaker 2: Trade Center area. He'll be down there. That ceremony takes
- 1:01Speaker 2: place at about noon eleven o'clock twelve noon. It's going
- 1:04Speaker 2: to be a traffic mess down there. Then he and
- 1:09Speaker 2: Kamala split up. She's going to go to the New
- 1:12Speaker 2: York Public Library, which is at Bryant Park. He's going
- 1:16Speaker 2: up to Harlem to look at some green something, greenness,
- 1:22Speaker 2: green something up there, and then in the late afternoon
- 1:26Speaker 2: they'll head to Rockefeller Center, completely snarling up Midtown.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Traffic with all the security.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Even a little party for them tonight at Christie's, the
- 1:35Speaker 2: British auction House, So they'll be there tonight, that's about six,
- 1:40Speaker 2: seven o'clock, eight o'clock, and then about nine o'clock they'll
- 1:43Speaker 2: get the hell out of here. They're going to Virginia tomorrow,
- 1:47Speaker 2: and just beware, it's gonna be a traffic mess all
- 1:50Speaker 2: over New York City today as a result. So you know,
- 1:55Speaker 2: it's funny. The party at the British Embassy yesterday, the
- 2:00Speaker 2: party this evening at Christie's the auction House is going
- 2:03Speaker 2: to have all the left wing liberal democratic New York
- 2:07Speaker 2: d C.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Type.
- 2:08Speaker 2: They're all fawning all over the guy. What happened to
- 2:11Speaker 2: you're no kings thing? Two three weeks ago you're screaming
- 2:14Speaker 2: no kings. Now you see an actual king and you're
- 2:16Speaker 2: just slobbering all over him. But that's the way things go.
- 2:20Speaker 2: He made a wonderful speech yesterday. Nobody knows if it's wonderful.
- 2:25Speaker 2: You know, when when you speak like him, everything sounds brilliant, everything,
- 2:31Speaker 2: no matter what the hell he s. It was actually
- 2:33Speaker 2: a very well written speech, but didn't have to be.
- 2:35Speaker 2: You can you can read anything. When you have that
- 2:39Speaker 2: sort of royal British accent. Everything sounds brilliant, just like
- 2:44Speaker 2: if you got one of those long island accents that
- 2:47Speaker 2: you know, how we you you could read. You could
- 2:49Speaker 2: read the Magna carta and still sounds stupid, but that
- 2:52Speaker 2: actually just sounds great.
- 2:54Speaker 4: The challenges we face are too great for anyone nation
- 2:57Speaker 4: to bear alone.
- 2:59Speaker 2: But see the way he does that, to bear alone
- 3:03Speaker 2: you have to like bend and twist the word. You
- 3:05Speaker 2: can't just say to bear alone. You gotta twist the
- 3:08Speaker 2: word up to bear alone.
- 3:11Speaker 4: The challenges we face are too great for anyone nation
- 3:14Speaker 4: to bear alone. But in this unpredictable environment, our alliance
- 3:20Speaker 4: cannot rest on past achievements or assume the foundational principles.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Simply endure.
- 3:29Speaker 4: As my Prime Minister said last month, ours all.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Right, I'm dozing off already now. He sounds brilliant. He sounds.
- 3:37Speaker 2: It's great to speak like that, you know, but it
- 3:39Speaker 2: doesn't work. And you know, if you got into a
- 3:41Speaker 2: road rage with somebody, you roll down the window, you've
- 3:44Speaker 2: got to be able to curse and scream.
- 3:46Speaker 3: You can't go. I'd rather you didn't do the principal partnership.
- 3:50Speaker 4: We must not disregard everything that has sustained.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Us for the loan.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Now, look, how brilliant that guy sounds.
- 3:57Speaker 3: We must not disregard what is this.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I don't know what the hell that means. Who knows
- 4:02Speaker 2: what the hell he's saying, but it sounds brilliant.
- 4:04Speaker 3: The last eighty years.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Instead we mist build on it.
- 4:09Speaker 2: There you go. So this went on. By the way,
- 4:12Speaker 2: while he's speaking in Congress, Pelosi Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries stood
- 4:17Speaker 2: giving him a standing ovation, cheering. These are the no
- 4:21Speaker 2: kings people, This is an actual king. They're given a
- 4:23Speaker 2: standing ovation.
- 4:24Speaker 4: The US Supreme Court Historical Society has calculated that Magna
- 4:29Speaker 4: Carta is cited in at least one hundred and sixty
- 4:34Speaker 4: Supreme Court cases in seventeen eighty nine, not least as
- 4:39Speaker 4: the foundation of the principle that executive power is subject
- 4:44Speaker 4: to checks and balances.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I see, they like that.
- 4:50Speaker 2: So it was a very well written and very carefully
- 4:54Speaker 2: written speech. It had stuff in it to appeal to
- 4:56Speaker 2: the Republicans, it had stuff in it to appeal to
- 4:59Speaker 2: the demoocrats. These are congress men and women. So he
- 5:03Speaker 2: put in that checks and balances, you know, like we
- 5:06Speaker 2: need you to check and balance the president. And there
- 5:09Speaker 2: was green stuff in there. There was not so green stuff.
- 5:12Speaker 2: There was pro Iran stuff anti Iran's very well balanced speech.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Listen to that. It was standing ovation. I guess the
- 5:26Speaker 2: no kings thing is over. Now you're going to read
- 5:29Speaker 2: in Vanity Fair and all those type of publications. How
- 5:35Speaker 2: in fact, I've already read these. They're writing left and right.
- 5:38Speaker 2: How King Charles is embarrassed by President Trump. He found
- 5:43Speaker 2: President Trump to be crude, and he didn't understand his
- 5:47Speaker 2: rambling speeches and his ranting and raving. They'll tell you
- 5:52Speaker 2: that he was quietly offended by the President's behavior. And
- 5:57Speaker 2: now if you talk to people that are the royal expert,
- 6:00Speaker 2: that are connected to the royal family, they'll tell you
- 6:02Speaker 2: that King Charles loves Donald Trump and gets quite a
- 6:05Speaker 2: kick out of him. He finds him very amusing. He
- 6:09Speaker 2: likes the honesty of the bluntness. He actually loves President
- 6:13Speaker 2: Trump's so don't believe all the vanity fair in New
- 6:16Speaker 2: Yorker Atlantic Magazine articles President Trump yesterday. My mother would
- 6:22Speaker 2: be oh, yeah, you know. He talked about his mother Mary,
- 6:25Speaker 2: who when Trump was a little kid, would watch the
- 6:28Speaker 2: Royal family all the time. She loves the Queen. She
- 6:31Speaker 2: loved Prince Charles too.
- 6:32Speaker 3: My mother would be glued to the television.
- 6:35Speaker 5: I also remember her saying very clearly, Charles, look young, Charles,
- 6:43Speaker 5: He's so cute.
- 6:45Speaker 2: He went on to say his mother had a crush
- 6:49Speaker 2: on Prince Charles. So I've actually met I had never
- 6:53Speaker 2: met him as king, but I met Prince Charles a
- 6:55Speaker 2: number of times, had conversations with him. It's not the
- 6:59Speaker 2: most exciting thing in the world. He loves clothes that
- 7:02Speaker 2: I actually one conversation.
- 7:03Speaker 3: That's all.
- 7:03Speaker 2: We talked about his clothes, Turnbull and Asser German Street,
- 7:06Speaker 2: all the British clothing. Outside of that, he loves to
- 7:10Speaker 2: talk about green stuff, which nobody else wants to hear about.
- 7:13Speaker 2: But I mean, he can't say anything bad about him.
- 7:18Speaker 2: He's a well But the only thing is, you know,
- 7:21Speaker 2: for all his stateliness. He's got a son here in
- 7:24Speaker 2: America who he won't speak to. The first wife that
- 7:29Speaker 2: was kind of a strange relationship forced on him, Diana.
- 7:34Speaker 2: He was always in love with Camilla. It's kind of
- 7:36Speaker 2: a nice story, you know. He's married to the hot,
- 7:40Speaker 2: effervescent Diana and wants to leave her for the old,
- 7:45Speaker 2: frumpy Camilla. It's kind of a nice story in a way,
- 7:49Speaker 2: I guess. And they've obviously been very happy together. So again,
- 7:53Speaker 2: he'll be all over New York today. Beware of the
- 7:55Speaker 2: traffic closures and all the security. Now, some people don't
- 8:00Speaker 2: think it's a good idea to have Mom Donnie at
- 8:03Speaker 2: this ceremony. It'd be a World Trade Center Area nine
- 8:06Speaker 2: to eleven memorial ceremony, and the idea of Mom Donni there,
- 8:10Speaker 2: he's not when it came to nine to eleven. He
- 8:12Speaker 2: wasn't exactly on our side in that, So you could
- 8:17Speaker 2: argue he shouldn't be there. It's offensive, but you can
- 8:21Speaker 2: also argue it's good that he's trying to make peace
- 8:25Speaker 2: with that. Also, isn't he one of these no kings guys.
- 8:29Speaker 2: He's a yelling and screaming no Kings. Now he's going
- 8:31Speaker 2: to be with the King. We'll see if he actually
- 8:33Speaker 2: shows up later today. Hey, the good news is James
- 8:36Speaker 2: Comy indicted again. There's an arrest warrant out for him.
- 8:40Speaker 2: When you look at the charges the seashells, it seems
- 8:42Speaker 2: kind of silly, seems kind of flimsy for a bunch
- 8:47Speaker 2: of sheet. How do you get indicted over some seashells?
- 8:49Speaker 2: But keep hearing that this is just the beginning. Superseding
- 8:54Speaker 2: indictments are coming. This is just an opening shot. There's
- 8:58Speaker 2: going to be other charges and other stuff, witnesses, all
- 9:01Speaker 2: kinds of things. Now, call me the problem with Call
- 9:07Speaker 2: me two problems. One, he's a dirty cop. He's a
- 9:09Speaker 2: very very bad guy. The Russia hoax, the crap he
- 9:13Speaker 2: pulled on President Trump. He's worse than.
- 9:16Speaker 3: J Edgar Hoover.
- 9:17Speaker 2: The problem with j Edgar Hoover was when he got
- 9:19Speaker 2: a new president, he would basically blackmail the guy. When
- 9:24Speaker 2: Kennedy took office, er Johnson took office, when Kennedy was
- 9:28Speaker 2: at for instance, would took office, he and Bobby Kennedy,
- 9:31Speaker 2: Hoover would go meet with him and Hoover, a dirty
- 9:35Speaker 2: cop head of the FBI, had these guys tailed and followed.
- 9:38Speaker 2: And you know, he was famous for having these secret
- 9:40Speaker 2: files on everybody. So when he met with the new
- 9:43Speaker 2: young president JFK, he showed him his files. So you know,
- 9:46Speaker 2: you got you sleeping with this woman, got you having
- 9:49Speaker 2: an affair with this woman. You've been sleeping with this woman,
- 9:53Speaker 2: you had another affair with this woman. It's to intimidate
- 9:55Speaker 2: the president to not fire him, to keep him on
- 9:59Speaker 2: and to keep his dis And he did that with everybody. Johnson,
- 10:02Speaker 2: he would blackmail everybody basically. So Trump gets elected, brand
- 10:07Speaker 2: new to politics, and Komy did the same exact thing
- 10:11Speaker 2: to Trump. Trump got elected, Remember, as the president elect,
- 10:16Speaker 2: he was at Trump Tower having all the meetings. Everybody
- 10:19Speaker 2: would come to meet the new president elected Trump Tower.
- 10:23Speaker 2: One of the meetings was all the Justice Department guys
- 10:25Speaker 2: call me everybody else. And they met in the conference
- 10:28Speaker 2: room up there on the twenty fifth floor Trump Tower.
- 10:31Speaker 2: And when it was all over all these people, big
- 10:35Speaker 2: conference room, Comy said, man, I speak to you privately,
- 10:41Speaker 2: And Trump didn't know what it was all about. But
- 10:42Speaker 2: they went somewhere alone and Komy showed him we have
- 10:45Speaker 2: evidence of you Russia collusion. We have evidence you in
- 10:49Speaker 2: Moscow in a hotel room with hookers, and then he
- 10:55Speaker 2: got into the what they called the p tape, the urination.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I mean, he shows Trump all this and imagine none
- 11:03Speaker 2: of it's true, but imagine Trump horrified. Here's the FBI
- 11:07Speaker 2: director showing him this stuff. It's basically threatening him, and
- 11:12Speaker 2: he's just like whover. He says, now, only we have
- 11:15Speaker 2: seen this, we have not No one else has seen this.
- 11:17Speaker 2: But it's a threat. It's a blackmail threat. So from
- 11:20Speaker 2: that day for he didn't he didn't fire Coombe. He
- 11:22Speaker 2: should have fired Kmy immediately, but he let him stay
- 11:24Speaker 2: for a while. But from that day on, I'm sure
- 11:28Speaker 2: he never got over that Komy threatened him, tried to
- 11:30Speaker 2: blackmail him, try to intimidate him. And then Komy he's
- 11:34Speaker 2: pushing that Russia hoax with his old buddy Robert Muller.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Remember Komby had been Muller's number two in the FBI,
- 11:43Speaker 2: the Justice Department, all of that, so they were a team.
- 11:47Speaker 2: And also remember Comy's a very very very bad guy,
- 11:52Speaker 2: a real dirty cop. He's done horrible things to people,
- 11:56Speaker 2: whether they were innocent or guilty. He's not the point.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Roger Stone is a perfect Roger Stone was accused of something.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It turned out he was totally innocent, but at the
- 12:04Speaker 2: time he was accused of something. But you know roger Stone,
- 12:07Speaker 2: where the Alummer hate him. Everybody has to agree.
- 12:10Speaker 3: This is the.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Most non threatening, non violent arrest you could ever make.
- 12:16Speaker 2: He's living in Florida with his wife. His wife is
- 12:19Speaker 2: not only elderly, but she's very, very sick as kinds
- 12:22Speaker 2: of medical problems. Now, if you had to arrest roger
- 12:26Speaker 2: Stone and he has a top attorney, you simply call
- 12:29Speaker 2: the attorney and say we're going to arrest him. He
- 12:31Speaker 2: has to surrender himself at nine am at the court
- 12:33Speaker 2: had That's how it's done. Komi launched the most awful
- 12:38Speaker 2: raid on roger Stone. They deliberately did it at four
- 12:42Speaker 2: point thirty five in the morning, knowing the wife and
- 12:45Speaker 2: him they'd be asleep in bed. He had like hundreds
- 12:48Speaker 2: of armed agents with machine guns, oozzies, tanks. Literally, he
- 12:53Speaker 2: ran a Normandy invasion up the lawn of roger Stone
- 12:56Speaker 2: just to terrify him and his wife. They had helicopters
- 12:59Speaker 2: overhead in the inner coastal waterway behind the house. They
- 13:02Speaker 2: had scuba divers boats. He invited CNN to come along
- 13:07Speaker 2: and shoot the whole thing for television. But mister missus
- 13:12Speaker 2: stone asleep. FBI agents break down the door, come in
- 13:15Speaker 2: with machine guns, screaming, yelling, I'm amazed the wife survived this,
- 13:20Speaker 2: and they take him out and hand. I mean, it
- 13:22Speaker 2: was just ridiculous. So whatever Komi gets now, he absolutely
- 13:26Speaker 2: deserves just as payback for that one incident. So the
- 13:29Speaker 2: seashells it says eighty six forty seven, He's gonna argue
- 13:37Speaker 2: that when he grew up in the Irish tavern world,
- 13:41Speaker 2: when you said eighty six, it meant throw somebody out,
- 13:44Speaker 2: throw a customer out, eighty six and throw them out.
- 13:49Speaker 2: So all he's implying is throw out the president. Although
- 13:53Speaker 2: he could argue I meant impeach him. I meant something
- 13:56Speaker 2: like that. The problem is going to hold up eighty
- 14:01Speaker 2: six forty seven in modern day the modern day world.
- 14:05Speaker 2: It's also taken a mean, get rid of somebody. It
- 14:07Speaker 2: means all kinds of things. And if you're the you
- 14:09Speaker 2: can claim play dumb and play innocent. And I didn't
- 14:12Speaker 2: really know what I mean, but you're the former FBI director,
- 14:16Speaker 2: you should know better. So here's Komy yesterday.
- 14:18Speaker 6: Well, they're back, this time about a picture of seashells
- 14:22Speaker 6: on a North Carolina beach a year ago.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah, his real crime is, if you know Komy, he's
- 14:32Speaker 2: actually a big awkward guy. He's an uncomfortable stiff. He's
- 14:36Speaker 2: an awkward guy. Which is fine. You can that's good
- 14:39Speaker 2: if you're the FBI director, you're the US attorney. You
- 14:44Speaker 2: know you can be awkward and stiff and very formal
- 14:47Speaker 2: in a courtroom. But if you're going to try to
- 14:49Speaker 2: be a fun influencer on Instagram, you're going to try
- 14:53Speaker 2: to do fun, kooky Instagram stuff. A big awkward clutch
- 14:57Speaker 2: of a guy can't do it. He won't know how
- 14:58Speaker 2: to do it, and it's not the seashells. Through the
- 15:02Speaker 2: couple of years he was doing this, he put out
- 15:04Speaker 2: some of the most embarrassing cringe videos. Everybody would cringe
- 15:08Speaker 2: at the stuff he put up thinking was cute or funny,
- 15:11Speaker 2: these ridiculous videos of himself. So I think that's where
- 15:14Speaker 2: I've got the problems. This is Kobe's lawyer.
- 15:17Speaker 3: This president is so spiteful and vengeful.
- 15:20Speaker 7: He's determined to put people through suffering, political suffering as
- 15:24Speaker 7: much as possible.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you can see you could argue that the problem
- 15:27Speaker 2: is nobody ever did that more than Komy to people
- 15:30Speaker 2: that didn't deserve it. Komy terrified and terrorized and tortured
- 15:34Speaker 2: people with those raids on their house over little silly things.
- 15:39Speaker 2: So nobody deserves this more than Komy. Here's Cash Battel.
- 15:42Speaker 1: James Comy allegedly threatened the life of the President of
- 15:46Speaker 1: the United States, and as you all now know, shortly
- 15:49Speaker 1: after posting that threat, he deleted that threat and then
- 15:53Speaker 1: issued an apology.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so the problem is cash Battel. Cash Btel doesn't
- 15:58Speaker 2: sound tough enough the FBI director. That's one thing about
- 16:02Speaker 2: call me. He's like a big, lurch looking guy. You know,
- 16:05Speaker 2: he looks like he could haunt the house and Cash
- 16:08Speaker 2: Battalion know when he Cash battellit, he always looks like
- 16:10Speaker 2: the it guy that came in to fix your computer.
- 16:12Speaker 2: He never doesn't fit the right as Trump would say,
- 16:15Speaker 2: He's not from Central Casting, Todd Blanche. Now he looks
- 16:17Speaker 2: like an FBI director.
- 16:18Speaker 8: Including one where the defendant pled guilty recently to threatening
- 16:22Speaker 8: former President Biden, another one that's scheduled to go to
- 16:25Speaker 8: trial this summer. Another one indicted an individual was divided
- 16:30Speaker 8: was indicted for threatening Tom Homan.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Now again it seems silly, the seashell thing. But I
- 16:37Speaker 2: keep hearing there's other stuff coming, there's other charges coming.
- 16:41Speaker 2: There's going to be more to this indictment. So well,
- 16:44Speaker 2: we'll see. Hey, we'll take some calls.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Next.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the
- 16:50Speaker 2: number eight hundred three to two one zero seven.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Ten, mister New York marximone. Wi.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to uh, let's
- 17:05Speaker 2: go to Blauvelt in Florida. Blauvelt, how you.
- 17:08Speaker 9: Doing, Mark Simoon, Sir, you are the best.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Well, I'd have to agree with that, you know, go ahead.
- 17:16Speaker 10: All right?
- 17:16Speaker 9: So I question do you think this this negotiations that
- 17:21Speaker 9: are always falling apart because the Revolutionary Guard is living
- 17:26Speaker 9: paycheck to paycheck and the Mulla's got all their money
- 17:29Speaker 9: off shore, so they want to settle to keep their
- 17:31Speaker 9: money and the republic Guards.
- 17:34Speaker 2: That's no, it's it's more than that. No, it's just
- 17:38Speaker 2: the This is the way Iran is. They lose every
- 17:41Speaker 2: war and as they say, win every negotiation because they
- 17:43Speaker 2: just never ever, ever ever ever give in. This is different, though,
- 17:46Speaker 2: because we have not only taken away their military, but
- 17:49Speaker 2: right now they are total their economy is totally shut off.
- 17:53Speaker 2: The straits of horn Moose closed. They have no economy.
- 17:55Speaker 2: There's absolutely no revenue coming in without the straits of
- 17:58Speaker 2: Horne Moose. So they got enough money to go a
- 18:01Speaker 2: few more weeks and then they're totally out of cash.
- 18:06Speaker 2: They can't make the payroll. Also, people citizens of Iran
- 18:10Speaker 2: starving to death. They're having a shortage of everything, bread, everything. Now,
- 18:14Speaker 2: you're right, they do have some of those higher ups
- 18:17Speaker 2: have a lot of money stashed away in foreign banks.
- 18:20Speaker 2: We can we haven't done this yet. We can seize
- 18:24Speaker 2: all our funds, freeze all those bank accounts. That's possible
- 18:30Speaker 2: to do. We haven't done that yet. Maybe Donald Trump
- 18:34Speaker 2: would be a little hesitant to do that because he's
- 18:37Speaker 2: been debanked himself, so he might be a little touchy
- 18:39Speaker 2: about that stuff. Let's go to John in Long Beach. John,
- 18:43Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 18:44Speaker 7: I'm doing very well.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Yes.
- 18:47Speaker 7: My friend Guido called me, laughing histerically, and he asked me,
- 18:53Speaker 7: who's that a wool? I said, what are you talking about?
- 18:57Speaker 7: He says, you know that governor you have? I said,
- 19:00Speaker 7: you mean Hukal? He goes, yeah, he goes in Italian
- 19:03Speaker 7: some fight.
- 19:04Speaker 2: This is a riveting story. But where does it go?
- 19:08Speaker 7: In Italian? The h is silent and it means ass.
- 19:11Speaker 7: As soon as he said that, I remembered my mother
- 19:13Speaker 7: saying all the time of who the mom?
- 19:15Speaker 3: You know?
- 19:16Speaker 7: Well, that's it.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about, but as long
- 19:18Speaker 2: as you do, that's all that. Hey, you made your point.
- 19:22Speaker 2: We don't know what it is, but you made your point.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Let's go to Rich and Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing?
- 19:28Speaker 10: Oh, if you want an Italian to call the show,
- 19:30Speaker 10: you musto just stick with Vincent. I mean, I don't
- 19:31Speaker 10: know what that guy was talking. Guy, If they're going
- 19:38Speaker 10: after calling again, does that mean Pam Bondi just didn't
- 19:41Speaker 10: do it the right way? Or we know Todd Blanche
- 19:44Speaker 10: Will just got you to look at you like a
- 19:45Speaker 10: fish and not even crack a smile. But was Pam
- 19:47Speaker 10: Bondi just not doing it the right way and not
- 19:49Speaker 10: as good as Todd Blanche or what was the big
- 19:51Speaker 10: deal the difference here?
- 19:53Speaker 2: Well, Pam Bondi was a great attorney general in Florida,
- 19:56Speaker 2: But again, you could be a great minor league home
- 19:58Speaker 2: run hitter, but then you get up into the majors
- 20:01Speaker 2: and you can't hit major league pitching. So that Pam
- 20:04Speaker 2: Bondy might have gone a little above where she should
- 20:06Speaker 2: have been. From what I hear, I can't confirm this.
- 20:10Speaker 2: I keep hearing this. More charges coming. This is just
- 20:13Speaker 2: the opening.
- 20:13Speaker 10: So he's as dirty as it come. He belongs in
- 20:15Speaker 10: jail after what he did the poor General Flynn. That
- 20:17Speaker 10: was terrible.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I forgot about that. What he did to Roger Stone,
- 20:21Speaker 2: what he did he actually, yeah, it's a long story,
- 20:23Speaker 2: but he really deceived General Flynn into yep. It's one
- 20:27Speaker 2: thing they do when when this Yeah, he's bankrupted these guys.
- 20:31Speaker 2: He bankrupted Roger Stone. This should be done to him.
- 20:36Speaker 2: It's too long to explain. But when you can't get
- 20:38Speaker 2: a guy like Flynn, when there's nothing to get him on,
- 20:41Speaker 2: you set up a fake trap, like a perjury trap,
- 20:44Speaker 2: a processed crime trap. And that's what they did to him.
- 20:46Speaker 2: It was just awful. Let's go to Jerry in Granwich, Connecticut. Jerry,
- 20:50Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 20:52Speaker 11: I'm doing well, thank you. Mark prediction, nothing will happen
- 20:56Speaker 11: to James Coney. The Democrats are above the low. They're
- 20:59Speaker 11: going to throw it's out of the court. Again we
- 21:01Speaker 11: like the other one.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Uh well, we'll see. They got to get it into
- 21:05Speaker 2: the right court. That's the problem you get before. These
- 21:08Speaker 2: are crazy left wing judges, very very tough to get
- 21:12Speaker 2: anything done. But we'll see. Hey, once again, if you
- 21:17Speaker 2: think of it coming into Manhattan today, think twice about driving,
- 21:20Speaker 2: take the train or something, because the King and the
- 21:24Speaker 2: Queen will be all over in New York City. You
- 21:26Speaker 2: start about noon at the World Trade Center nine to
- 21:28Speaker 2: eleven Memorial. Then she goes to the New York Public
- 21:32Speaker 2: Library Bryant Park. He goes to Harlem. Then in the
- 21:36Speaker 2: late afternoon they're both going to Rockefeller Center. So it's
- 21:39Speaker 2: not only the heavy security, but apparently lots and lots
- 21:45Speaker 2: and lots and lots of people want to see the
- 21:47Speaker 2: King and Queen. So they're expecting massive crowds to turn
- 21:51Speaker 2: out everywhere. So that's going to clog up streets. It's
- 21:54Speaker 2: going to be a traffic mess with the security and
- 21:56Speaker 2: the huge crowds. So you people with your no king signs,
- 22:00Speaker 2: apparently the public doesn't agree. If an actual king shows up,
- 22:04Speaker 2: millions will come out trying to get a look at him.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Oh you see it from the TV coverage. Apparently people
- 22:09Speaker 2: love Kings, so you can put away your no King sign.
- 22:13Speaker 2: It didn't work. Hey, when we come back, Roger Friedman,
- 22:17Speaker 2: a great entertainment reporter, will be with us. You know
- 22:19Speaker 2: that Michael Jackson biopic Boy that opened incredible numbers, but
- 22:23Speaker 2: apparently something's gone wrong. We'll find out what that is
- 22:26Speaker 2: coming up next on seven to ten wor let's get
- 22:30Speaker 2: back to the Markximmone show on woor.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Hey.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Roger Friedman is the great entertainment reporter. You should read
- 22:39Speaker 2: his website. There's excellent stories, good stuff, and it's news
- 22:42Speaker 2: stories every day. Just go to showbiz for one one
- 22:45Speaker 2: dot com, Showbiz for one one dot com. Roger Friedman,
- 22:50Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 22:52Speaker 7: You know?
- 22:53Speaker 6: I'm looking at this New York Times list of New
- 22:57Speaker 6: York Times magazine list of the thirty greatest living American songwriter.
- 23:01Speaker 2: I'm glad you brought that up. That is the dumbest list.
- 23:04Speaker 2: It is totally inaccurate. It's unbelievably stupid.
- 23:09Speaker 6: It's unbelievably stupid. For one thing, Billy Joel's not on it.
- 23:15Speaker 6: I guess they consider Joni Mitchell and Neil Young to
- 23:18Speaker 6: be Canadians and.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Not Americans, even though they are Americans. Neil Young, Neil
- 23:24Speaker 3: Young is an actual American.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, but he's got like two songs anybody likes.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Oh well, he's got plenty.
- 23:31Speaker 6: But Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel, Billy Joel should be number
- 23:35Speaker 6: one on the list. Okay, Instead, you've got Young Thug.
- 23:40Speaker 6: You know, I'm sure that people are humming Young Thug
- 23:43Speaker 6: songs even as we're speaking.
- 23:48Speaker 3: You know.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Also, Jimmy Webb, he lives in the Long Island and Bayville.
- 23:53Speaker 2: He should be on that list.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Jimmy is that where he lives? Ye, yes, well Jimmy
- 23:58Speaker 3: Webb away, come.
- 24:01Speaker 2: On, MacArthur Park's ridiculous by the time I get to
- 24:03Speaker 2: Phoenix Galveston, which.
- 24:09Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, it's crazy and bad. Bunny is one of
- 24:15Speaker 6: the top thirty. Outcast Romeo Santos. Who are these people?
- 24:23Speaker 6: There's someone here, there's one name I never actually even oh,
- 24:26Speaker 6: Fiona Apple. I don't get that at all. And there
- 24:31Speaker 6: are so many people who are missing from this list.
- 24:33Speaker 6: There's no James Taylor. Uh, there's the Eagles aren't here.
- 24:39Speaker 6: And also they say it's the best songwriters. What about Broadway?
- 24:43Speaker 6: What about Lynton, Manueld, Miranda. I mean, there are so
- 24:46Speaker 6: many great people, but instead there's the dream.
- 24:49Speaker 3: You know, the dream, right yeah, you know having the
- 24:52Speaker 3: dream right now.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Well, i'll tell you here's the problem. In the New
- 24:54Speaker 2: York Times, it's become so bad. You know, they have
- 24:57Speaker 2: this thing called Wirecutter where they review products. Oh yeah,
- 25:01Speaker 2: let's see, here's the best air conditioning. They're always wrong
- 25:03Speaker 2: about everything because in the old days of the New
- 25:05Speaker 2: York Times, it was a guy that's been doing it
- 25:07Speaker 2: for thirty years high top. You know, right now, it's
- 25:10Speaker 2: like a bunch of twenty three year olds. To give
- 25:12Speaker 2: them five hundred dollars a week. They don't know what
- 25:14Speaker 2: they're doing. It's the same thing with these songwriters. They
- 25:16Speaker 2: hire these inexperienced kids to come up with these things.
- 25:20Speaker 6: Also, Mariah Carey, listen, I know she has a great voice,
- 25:24Speaker 6: but she is not a songwriter.
- 25:25Speaker 3: She's on the list. But she's on the list.
- 25:29Speaker 6: But you know the guy who wrote the songs with her,
- 25:32Speaker 6: Walter Alfanasiev, he could actually be on the list, but
- 25:35Speaker 6: he's not here. He must be fuming he wrote all
- 25:38Speaker 6: those songs. I don't know who Stephan Merritt is at all.
- 25:43Speaker 6: Out Cast had one hit.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Hey you Kendrick Lamar. You know, I know he's popular,
- 25:51Speaker 3: but this is kind of ridiculous. The whole thing is ridiculous.
- 25:54Speaker 6: Half the list should go, and if it's thirty, there
- 25:58Speaker 6: are fifteen people missing. And but I see online people
- 26:02Speaker 6: are really angry and they're really going They're really really angry,
- 26:06Speaker 6: and and they should be.
- 26:08Speaker 3: And I don't know who may I don't know who.
- 26:10Speaker 6: Makes these lists, but and maybe they make them just
- 26:13Speaker 6: to be just to outrage everyone so that we talk
- 26:15Speaker 6: about it.
- 26:18Speaker 3: There is one person on the list I'm very happy about.
- 26:21Speaker 6: I just want to say, is Valerie Simpson from Ashrad
- 26:24Speaker 6: and Simpson, who's a New Yorker who we love and
- 26:28Speaker 6: wrote so many motown hits. So I'm thrilled that she
- 26:30Speaker 6: made the list. And Diane Warren deserves it. But some
- 26:36Speaker 6: of these other people, this is just kind of ridiculous.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Bruce Springsteen, they have Smokey Robinson, so obviously it's not
- 26:42Speaker 2: a generational thing. They got the old people there.
- 26:45Speaker 6: How could they not give you Under Simon, I don't know,
- 26:49Speaker 6: Billy Joel. This is so crazy. It's so crazy, and
- 26:54Speaker 6: so maybe the idea is just to annoy everybody and
- 26:57Speaker 6: get us talking about the New York Times magazine. But
- 27:00Speaker 6: you know, on Sunday when this comes out, we get
- 27:02Speaker 6: our New York Times magazine delivered. I'm going to use
- 27:06Speaker 6: it to line some kind of cage. I don't know,
- 27:09Speaker 6: third cage, a dog cage, something.
- 27:11Speaker 2: It's just terrible. Hey, let me ask you. You're the
- 27:14Speaker 2: Michael Jackson expert. The Michael Jackson movie had an incredible
- 27:18Speaker 2: box office opening weekend, and then what happened.
- 27:21Speaker 6: It did well, So we'll see what happens in a
- 27:24Speaker 6: little while. We'll have the numbers from last night, but
- 27:27Speaker 6: the two nights ago it had a big fall off,
- 27:32Speaker 6: seventy percent falloff. And well, I think that the big
- 27:38Speaker 6: rush to see it was over the weekend.
- 27:40Speaker 3: It actually started.
- 27:41Speaker 6: You know, they had previews last Wednesday, so it was Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- 27:47Speaker 6: They made ninety seven million dollars in the United States
- 27:51Speaker 6: and another one hundred and twenty million around the world,
- 27:55Speaker 6: which was amazing. So they made two hundred million dollars
- 27:59Speaker 6: and everybody was talking about what a surprise this was.
- 28:02Speaker 3: But I also think that.
- 28:03Speaker 6: Maybe the big rush of Michael Jackson fans saw it,
- 28:07Speaker 6: they loved it, they had a good time, and now
- 28:10Speaker 6: you're going to see kind of a fall off.
- 28:11Speaker 3: I think it's not a good movie.
- 28:14Speaker 6: No, it's not a factually it's not a factually correct movie.
- 28:19Speaker 3: I don't care about what they don't it's and it's
- 28:21Speaker 3: not about leaving out.
- 28:23Speaker 6: The child molestation scandals and all that stuff, because that
- 28:27Speaker 6: would have come later. This movie ends in nineteen eighty eight,
- 28:31Speaker 6: but just the stuff that they covered in the seventies
- 28:35Speaker 6: and eighties, they skipped through the seventies.
- 28:38Speaker 3: So you sort of have the Jackson five.
- 28:42Speaker 6: Being a success and then suddenly it's Michael having his
- 28:45Speaker 6: Off the Wall album. But in between nothing happens, like
- 28:50Speaker 6: Michael doesn't do the Wiz. There's all kinds of stuff missing.
- 28:55Speaker 6: It's not a well made movie.
- 28:58Speaker 2: So you think word of mouth is slowing down the
- 29:00Speaker 2: box office.
- 29:02Speaker 6: It could be that word of mouth is slowing down
- 29:04Speaker 6: the box office. And also the reviews are terrible. You know,
- 29:07Speaker 6: if you look on I mean, it doesn't seem to
- 29:09Speaker 6: have mattered at the beginning, but on Rotten Tomatoes, I
- 29:12Speaker 6: think they have like a thirty seven percent or something,
- 29:15Speaker 6: and that's the high it was as low as twenty
- 29:17Speaker 6: seven percent. So critics reviews are terrible. So it could
- 29:21Speaker 6: be that the next level of people coming through are
- 29:25Speaker 6: the people who would read the reviews and say, you
- 29:27Speaker 6: know what, I don't think it's worth twenty five dollars.
- 29:30Speaker 10: Hey.
- 29:30Speaker 6: By the way, speaking of twenty five dollars, I was,
- 29:34Speaker 6: I went to look at a ticket for the devil
- 29:36Speaker 6: Ware's product for this weekend.
- 29:39Speaker 3: The tickets are twenty five dollars.
- 29:40Speaker 2: He wait, hold a press. You were going to pay
- 29:42Speaker 2: for something? Wait a minute, I.
- 29:45Speaker 6: Was, yeah, because well, Disney has Disney does it. The
- 29:48Speaker 6: movie's not that great, and Disney does not do not
- 29:51Speaker 6: want me. I was not invited to any screenings. What
- 29:53Speaker 6: I said, all right, I'll pay for it to go
- 29:55Speaker 6: to a preview. Yes, I got this, I said, I'll pay.
- 29:58Speaker 6: I don't mind this is five dollars.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Hey, let me tell you that.
- 30:04Speaker 2: You know that I never saw The Devilwares prodest so
- 30:07Speaker 2: because of this, I went back and watched it this week.
- 30:10Speaker 2: I don't understand the movie at all, the way she behaves.
- 30:13Speaker 2: You and I. In the media business, we've worked for
- 30:15Speaker 2: hundreds of people like that. What's so unusual about it?
- 30:20Speaker 2: I know a million people.
- 30:21Speaker 6: I know, rude, insulin obnoxious. Yes, that's the that's the norm.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I've worked for people much worse than her. You probably too.
- 30:32Speaker 2: That's nothing else. Oh, yes, we can talk.
- 30:37Speaker 11: You know.
- 30:38Speaker 9: Uh.
- 30:39Speaker 6: The second movie, apparently the new one has been really
- 30:44Speaker 6: watered down. The Marrische character has become very friendly. Yes,
- 30:49Speaker 6: because you know, the first movie, the story it was,
- 30:52Speaker 6: the joke was about Vogue. But the second movie, Vogue
- 30:56Speaker 6: is in on it. They're like a sponsor of it.
- 30:59Speaker 6: And Anna Winter was filmed scenes to be in it.
- 31:01Speaker 6: I don't know if she made them in Paralys she
- 31:04Speaker 6: got cut, but Anna Winter put Meryl Streep and herself
- 31:09Speaker 6: on the cover of Vogue this month because she's so
- 31:12Speaker 6: into it. She's into it, so they've made the movie
- 31:15Speaker 6: very Anna Winter. He friendly, So instead of having that
- 31:19Speaker 6: obnoxious character, now suddenly she's like a pussy cat. And
- 31:23Speaker 6: I think that's going to ruin the whole idea of
- 31:26Speaker 6: the devil. There's no devil wearing Pradac.
- 31:29Speaker 2: You know, hey, Roger Fream, we only got about thirty
- 31:32Speaker 2: seconds left the King, Charles, you believe the mania over
- 31:36Speaker 2: the King a month ago was no kings. Now everybody's
- 31:40Speaker 2: fawning all over the king. What do you think of
- 31:42Speaker 2: King Charles?
- 31:43Speaker 6: First of all, I call him Prince Charles. I can't
- 31:45Speaker 6: call him King Charles. We know him as Prince Charles.
- 31:49Speaker 6: And I don't know. He made a good speech yesterday.
- 31:53Speaker 6: He thought he was getting away with something. He you know,
- 31:56Speaker 6: made a nice speech about checks and balances and he was.
- 32:00Speaker 3: You know, the King is promoted.
- 32:03Speaker 6: The royal family promotes what the parliament want, what the
- 32:07Speaker 6: Prime Minister wants, so he's giving their agenda.
- 32:11Speaker 3: He doesn't have his own agenda, so he's doing that.
- 32:16Speaker 6: He's really here, you know, to see some shows and
- 32:19Speaker 6: go to some restaurants. So God bless him. Right, Well,
- 32:24Speaker 6: hopefully this is a sick man. He has cancer. You know,
- 32:28Speaker 6: let him go, Let him go do a few things
- 32:30Speaker 6: while he's here, you know, come.
- 32:32Speaker 3: On, yeah, well, I listen. They're very nice.
- 32:35Speaker 2: They're not the most exciting couple in the world.
- 32:37Speaker 6: I mean, she's not. And they keep calling her queen.
- 32:40Speaker 6: She's the Queen consort. She's not the Queen's the second
- 32:44Speaker 6: she's the second wife. You know, Diana would have been
- 32:48Speaker 6: the queen. This woman is just like you know, Johnny
- 32:52Speaker 6: come lately.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, she's like the Nancy Reagan of this
- 32:55Speaker 2: deal second wife.
- 32:57Speaker 6: No, no, Nancy Reagan was fantastic. We loved her. She
- 33:01Speaker 6: was okay, all right, everyone loved Nancy Reagan.
- 33:04Speaker 2: All right, Well, great stuff. If you want more, go
- 33:06Speaker 2: to Roger Freeman's website showbiz for one one dot com. Fact,
- 33:09Speaker 2: there's all the other bunch of stories that we didn't
- 33:11Speaker 2: get to show Biz.
- 33:13Speaker 6: Oh my god, there's so much going on. There's so
- 33:15Speaker 6: much going on, Mark, it's terrible. How about the Friars
- 33:17Speaker 6: Club we didn't even talk about.
- 33:19Speaker 2: We'll get to that next time. The building has been sold, okay,
- 33:21Speaker 2: it could become another private Well, we'll get to that

- 34:09Speaker 2: over Manhattan today because of the King's visit World Trade

- 34:17Speaker 2: that New York Public Library is going to be a mess.
- 34:20Speaker 2: She'll be there, he'll be in Harlem. Then in the
- 34:22Speaker 2: late afternoon they go to Christie's in Rockefeller Center. Company
- 34:26Speaker 2: lately screwing up Midtown Manhattan when in the middle of
- 34:30Speaker 2: rush hour. Back after the news seven to WR
