- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, thank you for listening to us.
- 0:05Speaker 2: On air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 1: One or two point seven kiss if we do one
- 0:11Speaker 1: thousand dollars to get towards a bill for you call
- 0:14Speaker 1: a name in a second, this is kiss. So it
- 0:16Speaker 1: begs the question why is humans do we kiss? I mean,
- 0:20Speaker 1: it is a bizarre thing. If you were to come
- 0:22Speaker 1: from another planet and see us just like putting our
- 0:24Speaker 1: mouths on top of each other. Right, it's weird. Yeah,
- 0:26Speaker 1: yet it feels so mad trull And it does feel good, Tanya,
- 0:31Speaker 1: It does feel good.
- 0:32Speaker 2: It's nice.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Are you a good kisser? Tanya?
- 0:37Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 0:38Speaker 1: Are you good kisser? Isn't he?
- 0:39Speaker 2: I believe I am?
- 0:40Speaker 1: Who are you guys good kissers? Are they good kissers? Yes?
- 0:44Speaker 1: How do you know that?
- 0:45Speaker 2: Because I'm married? Oh?
- 0:47Speaker 1: And he tells you yeah, I mean I.
- 0:49Speaker 2: He married me. If I was a bad kisser, I
- 0:51Speaker 2: don't think I would have a husband.
- 0:52Speaker 4: I don't think you could be a bad kisser to
- 0:54Speaker 4: the right person.
- 0:56Speaker 1: In back room, those of you that are so quick
- 0:58Speaker 1: to say yes, how is it that you know that?
- 1:01Speaker 2: I feel like you just know, like it's just like
- 1:03Speaker 2: a feeling.
- 1:04Speaker 5: And also, I think people would tell you, like after
- 1:07Speaker 5: you've kissed a few guys, they'd be like, eh, a
- 1:09Speaker 5: little less on the tongue or like easy, you know,
- 1:11Speaker 5: like they would tell you.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I think you'd hear it from a friend from a friend,
- 1:17Speaker 1: like if you weren't good at it, then the guy
- 1:19Speaker 1: would tell somebody would tell you back door.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Did that happen to you?
- 1:24Speaker 5: No, No, I see what you're saying though, because that
- 1:28Speaker 5: makes more sense.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Word would get back to you.
- 1:30Speaker 5: But we've definitely kiss some bad kissers back in the day,
- 1:32Speaker 5: and I never told them.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Right, But you might say to your girlfriends, he's just
- 1:36Speaker 1: not a good kisser. They might say to his friend,
- 1:38Speaker 1: you know, he should be aware he needs to practice
- 1:40Speaker 1: on a dolt. All right. Have you ever wondered why
- 1:45Speaker 1: we kissed this human? Sisney is a great story.
- 1:47Speaker 5: Yeah, And I'm actually going to take you back about
- 1:49Speaker 5: three million years now, so.
- 1:51Speaker 2: To stay with me.
- 1:52Speaker 5: It's believed that kissing was once part of a grooming routine,
- 1:56Speaker 5: and specifically a tick and lice removed full method situation.
- 2:02Speaker 5: According to the study of ape behavior, kissing is likely
- 2:06Speaker 5: the stage of grooming when the groomer sucks the fur
- 2:09Speaker 5: or skin of the groom to remove debris or a parasite.
- 2:14Speaker 5: It is not cute or lovely at all, Like it
- 2:18Speaker 5: was really to just.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Remove lice from apes you're talking about.
- 2:23Speaker 5: Yes, as humans it evolved with less body hair grooming
- 2:26Speaker 5: became less necessary and ultimately now.
- 2:29Speaker 2: We just do it as you know, kissing.
- 2:31Speaker 1: So do you think the apes are like, I'm just
- 2:32Speaker 1: gonna go in there, honey and get some lice out.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But oh this is nice?
- 2:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I think so, because you know they they groom
- 2:38Speaker 5: each other in general, and then that was like the
- 2:41Speaker 5: final stage. You don't ever watch, like go to the
- 2:43Speaker 5: zoo and you see the gorillas and the chimpanzees and
- 2:46Speaker 5: they groom each other. No, they all sit like in
- 2:48Speaker 5: a little like circle or like this, and then ones
- 2:50Speaker 5: like picking the lights or whatever out of their fur.
- 2:54Speaker 1: This is not common knowledge to me, is.
- 2:57Speaker 2: It common knowledge to anybody else?
- 2:58Speaker 1: Well, if you go to the zoo. But you go
- 3:00Speaker 1: to the zoo, I mean I have kids, I.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Have a membership.
- 3:07Speaker 5: It's like a go to for the Vieh Clara family. Okay,
- 3:11Speaker 5: well that is where it's dating back to, and it makes.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Sense when you think of it that way.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Huh.
- 3:17Speaker 5: You're welcome information that you think. You think that's going
- 3:20Speaker 5: to stick with me all day. You get to the
- 3:23Speaker 5: zoo clearly one of two point seven Kiss FM.
- 3:26Speaker 1: So you know, it's hard to be Tanya because when
- 3:29Speaker 1: you go out in the wild, people just compliment her
- 3:32Speaker 1: about everything that. I mean, Look, you have a great smile.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I love your attitude. You're so positive. I'm a big
- 3:41Speaker 1: fan of your podcast, Scrubbing Out with Becca, Grubbing Scrubbing
- 3:45Speaker 1: In with Becca Tilly. I just love it. You know,
- 3:49Speaker 1: I'm a scrubber. So, I mean, it's tough to go
- 3:52Speaker 1: out in public the grocery store. Time's difficult. It stopped
- 3:55Speaker 1: every five minute, strange, everybody complimenting on London. So now
- 4:00Speaker 1: people can't stop complimenting you on what.
- 4:02Speaker 4: On my jawline? And this was from one of my
- 4:06Speaker 4: best friends and she the other day was like you're
- 4:10Speaker 4: like She was like, your jaw looks like so different
- 4:14Speaker 4: and like something. She was complimenting my jaw and I
- 4:17Speaker 4: was like, she said, what have you been doing? And
- 4:19Speaker 4: I like literally had to think about it. I was like,
- 4:20Speaker 4: I haven't really been doing anything. I was trying one
- 4:22Speaker 4: of those red light things for a while, like you know,
- 4:24Speaker 4: and I did it for three days and then I
- 4:25Speaker 4: stopped and I was like trying to think about, like,
- 4:28Speaker 4: what have I been doing. I haven't been doing anything,
- 4:30Speaker 4: and then it came to me.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Botox, No, even my.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Mouth tape.
- 4:40Speaker 4: So it's the only thing that I've been doing consistently
- 4:43Speaker 4: since like September October. I do it every single night.
- 4:46Speaker 4: And I looked it up and it is apparently some
- 4:50Speaker 4: sort of side effect of taping your mouth shut at night.
- 4:52Speaker 4: It's supposed to like something with the way that when
- 4:55Speaker 4: you sleep with your tongue, and it does apparently do
- 4:58Speaker 4: something to your job.
- 4:59Speaker 2: You're working out the those muscles in your sleep.
- 5:01Speaker 4: No, it's like the way that your tongue sits. Apparently
- 5:04Speaker 4: when your mouth is taped shut.
- 5:06Speaker 1: What's the primary reason you tape your mouth shut at night?
- 5:09Speaker 1: Not just because Robbi didn't want you to keep talking?
- 5:10Speaker 1: What was the other reason?
- 5:11Speaker 4: No, So it's supposed to give you like deeper sleep,
- 5:14Speaker 4: and I really believe that it's been and it's been. Yeah,
- 5:17Speaker 4: And also it's supposed to be better with getting sick. It's
- 5:20Speaker 4: supposed to prevent you from getting sick. There's a lot
- 5:23Speaker 4: of benefits. And so we're just like let's try.
- 5:25Speaker 1: But I've been well. To me, the greatest benefit would
- 5:27Speaker 1: be a chiseled's jawline.
- 5:29Speaker 4: It's not like to me, it's not very noticeable because
- 5:34Speaker 4: I've been doing it every night.
- 5:36Speaker 2: For so long.
- 5:37Speaker 1: But I notice it.
- 5:38Speaker 2: How does it work?
- 5:39Speaker 5: Because like I put a bunch of like chapstick on
- 5:41Speaker 5: before I go to bed at night, and so my
- 5:43Speaker 5: lips are like moisturized.
- 5:44Speaker 2: You can you can't. Oh, that's a deal breaker for me.
- 5:47Speaker 4: You can't.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I don't know that. I think I might die, Like
- 5:51Speaker 1: I don't know that I could breathe. Yeah, panic in
- 5:54Speaker 1: the middle of the night. You think I'm suffocating and.
- 5:56Speaker 6: Not wake up.
- 5:57Speaker 4: It's scary when you think about it, but after you
- 5:59Speaker 4: do it, it's like game changing.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Well, if it's gonna chisel a jaw line, maybe it
- 6:04Speaker 1: will actually pull up my neck a little bit.
- 6:06Speaker 4: I mean it's taken six months, but like I really
- 6:09Speaker 4: do notice it.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess we see you every day. Yeah, so
- 6:13Speaker 1: you know for somebody, I hadn't seen it.
- 6:14Speaker 2: In a while, so sorry we didn't notice.
- 6:16Speaker 4: Notice But I didn't even notice myself. But then when
- 6:19Speaker 4: my girlfriend said I hadn't seen her in a couple months,
- 6:20Speaker 4: and I was like, oh my gosh, like I really
- 6:22Speaker 4: think it's this mouth tape thing.
- 6:24Speaker 1: And what kind of tape? Like, could you explain with
- 6:26Speaker 1: people it's not duct tape. It's a special I just
- 6:28Speaker 1: get I just.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Go to Amazon and type in like mouth taping by
- 6:31Speaker 4: the first one. But it's yeah, it's just basically like
- 6:33Speaker 4: a little like it's almost extape.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Is there a plethora of mouth tape?
- 6:36Speaker 4: You wouldn't imagine.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I would not believe the subculture of mount tapers.
- 6:40Speaker 4: There's like fifteen or twenty all.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Right, Well, I mean, like whatever it takes, chisel that
- 6:45Speaker 1: jaw line. I'm down. I'd suffocate myself for a few
- 6:48Speaker 1: nights into it. Take it. Well it is one or
- 6:52Speaker 1: two point seven kiss FM. All right, I'm jumping into Rosie, y'all, Helen,
- 6:58Speaker 1: I'm Montana. Never been on tap of myself.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Thank here. It's beautiful.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I just watched that yellow Stone.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Yes, I gotta be honest, that's filmed I think in
- 7:08Speaker 3: New Mexico.
- 7:09Speaker 7: But you bet it's a great place. You guys absolutely
- 7:12Speaker 7: have helped an invitation. We we have a lake place
- 7:16Speaker 7: right outside West Yellowstone, so it's yours whenever you want it.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Wow, if road trip, all right.
- 7:26Speaker 7: Well that is a road trip. Let me tell you,
- 7:28Speaker 7: that is a road trip. But I really appreciate you
- 7:30Speaker 7: taking my call. I am hugely impressed with how you
- 7:34Speaker 7: help people. And I'm just one of these moms and
- 7:37Speaker 7: I can't begin to tell you. I'm so I'm so frustrated.
- 7:42Speaker 7: I'm trying to let it be. I've been trying to
- 7:44Speaker 7: fix it, and I got a son that's in a
- 7:46Speaker 7: hot mess and I just need some advice.
- 7:48Speaker 3: I don't know what to do.
- 7:51Speaker 1: What has happened to your son?
- 7:53Speaker 3: So just long story short.
- 7:55Speaker 7: He had been involved in a six year relationship. His
- 7:58Speaker 7: girlfriend at the time broke up with him, and three
- 8:00Speaker 7: weeks later he went on a daily side trying to
- 8:02Speaker 7: fill that boy and he met a woman right away.
- 8:05Speaker 1: And she is toxic.
- 8:08Speaker 7: Three years later, she has broken up with him the
- 8:10Speaker 7: first time two months into the relationship, saying he's not
- 8:14Speaker 7: doing it for me, but oh yeah, I need a
- 8:16Speaker 7: ride to so and so, and got back together. That
- 8:20Speaker 7: was the first time. The second or third time, no different,
- 8:23Speaker 7: same thing. She broke up with him. You know, I
- 8:26Speaker 7: just I don't love you, You're not good enough, and
- 8:29Speaker 7: oh yeah, but we have a trip planned to pairs,
- 8:31Speaker 7: so you know what, let's just forget about this. Then
- 8:34Speaker 7: the worst I think there were two really bad ones.
- 8:37Speaker 7: An hour before the entire family were coming to dinner.
- 8:42Speaker 7: She told them she didn't love them, and then he
- 8:45Speaker 7: came in looking like he saw a ghost.
- 8:47Speaker 6: And I had sit at a table with.
- 8:49Speaker 7: Her because she was there, and she said, I don't
- 8:52Speaker 7: love you. I don't want to be a part of
- 8:53Speaker 7: this relationship and not your family. And he's like, Mom,
- 8:56Speaker 7: I mean, and I'm like okay, and I always wellcome everybody.
- 9:01Speaker 7: I would beside myself. But the really long issue is
- 9:05Speaker 7: I've tried to be supportive. I've been really kind of strong, saying, listen,
- 9:10Speaker 7: you know this is toxic.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Well, he knows that I can only tell you what
- 9:16Speaker 1: my mom does, and she just gives her opinion at
- 9:20Speaker 1: the right time and then lets me come to my
- 9:23Speaker 1: own conclusion. A lot of times we don't respond to,
- 9:27Speaker 1: you know, a push and right, and he knows, he knows,
- 9:32Speaker 1: but he's got to come to the conclusion on his
- 9:34Speaker 1: own that it's not going to work and deal with
- 9:36Speaker 1: it himself. You know, You've you've said your piece, you've
- 9:39Speaker 1: given your view, and it's got to be on him.
- 9:43Speaker 7: And honestly, I know that, and I know everybody finds
- 9:47Speaker 7: their way for the right reason.
- 9:48Speaker 3: But there's one little thing.
- 9:49Speaker 7: His sister is getting married and this woman is still
- 9:53Speaker 7: on the invite, and oh my gosh, nobody wants her there. No,
- 9:57Speaker 7: And so you know, I've tried to let it be,
- 10:00Speaker 7: let them and it's the white elephant in the room.
- 10:02Speaker 7: Because of course I don't want to just nag him,
- 10:05Speaker 7: but it's just it's Josh or Yeah, what are you
- 10:10Speaker 7: going to do?
- 10:11Speaker 3: She isn't she included.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I feel like it's helped for you to talk this out.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I feel like that's good, and I feel like you've
- 10:16Speaker 1: said your your piece, and I think you kind of
- 10:18Speaker 1: got to let it just like I said, happened on
- 10:20Speaker 1: his time, on his watch. But you're great. I can
- 10:23Speaker 1: tell your great, mom. I can tell just by talking
- 10:26Speaker 1: to you. And we really appreciate you leaning on us
- 10:29Speaker 1: to call.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Well, you know, there's two options here. I lean on you.
- 10:34Speaker 7: In about five years he'll be calling you with Ryan's
- 10:36Speaker 7: roses seeing who his wife is.
- 10:40Speaker 2: No, No, not at all.
- 10:43Speaker 3: You guys are wonderful. Talk to you so I appreciate it.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Listen every day.
- 10:48Speaker 7: So thank you for taking the call and I appreciate it.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Good luck Rosie. Listening to Montana on the radio. App
- 10:55Speaker 1: one or two points the kiss up that here's your
- 10:58Speaker 1: morning hack. Have an issue with anything, you want to
- 11:01Speaker 1: get customer service on the line, it rings, you're on hold.
- 11:04Speaker 1: It's just it really is so frustrating. They say, avoid Mondays.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Those are the busiest days to call customer service. Late
- 11:12Speaker 1: at night, No good, very few people working. Your best
- 11:15Speaker 1: bet for customer service. Check it Wednesday at two thirty.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Here's why.
- 11:24Speaker 4: I don't know, okay, is that when you make your
- 11:27Speaker 4: dentist appointments too thirty on Wednesdays, tooth thirty?
- 11:33Speaker 1: Did you hear that?
- 11:34Speaker 2: I missed it because when she said dentist, I.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Know she made a dad joke. She said, what is
- 11:40Speaker 1: that when you make your dentist apponements tooth thirty?
- 11:42Speaker 7: Oh?
- 11:43Speaker 8: My god, like your tooth hurts right. I don't even
- 11:51Speaker 8: want I don't even think we deserve to give you
- 11:52Speaker 8: a quote today.
- 11:53Speaker 2: No, I want to hear the quote.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Feeling beautiful has nothing to do with what you look like.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Kiss FM. Kiss FM headlines with siciny well.
- 12:03Speaker 5: The head of Homeland Security is threatening to pull customs
- 12:07Speaker 5: officers from airports in sanctuary cities, a move that could
- 12:12Speaker 5: halt international travel. Of course, through LAX, the La City
- 12:17Speaker 5: Council has officially delayed minimum wage increases for tourism workers.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Disneyland is enticing its Magic keyholders to renew their passes
- 12:26Speaker 5: by offering dining cards worth up to one hundred dollars.
- 12:30Speaker 5: The deal is good for the next year, and Kailanie
- 12:34Speaker 5: announced the dates for her upcoming world tour. She will
- 12:38Speaker 5: perform at Into a Dome on September twenty fourth.
- 12:41Speaker 1: One a two point seven Kiss FM. It's interesting we've
- 12:44Speaker 1: talked over the years about the order in which we
- 12:47Speaker 1: do things, like, for example, when you wake up, do
- 12:50Speaker 1: you go brush your teeth or start the coffee machine.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I put a coffee machine in my bedroom, so now
- 12:55Speaker 1: I wake up, wow the copy machine and go vers five.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Me what's next? Putting right on your back?
- 13:00Speaker 1: I mean, I just I want it while I'm getting
- 13:02Speaker 1: ready and I.
- 13:03Speaker 5: Get see you building a shelf like in the headboard
- 13:05Speaker 5: of your bed, and then that's where that's where the
- 13:07Speaker 5: coffee machine is.
- 13:08Speaker 1: However, my laziness can be you know, lazier. I just
- 13:13Speaker 1: I wake up, I press the button. It's in a
- 13:15Speaker 1: little corner on a little table. I press the button.
- 13:17Speaker 1: It starts making the coffee. I go brush my teeth,
- 13:19Speaker 1: I go wash my face. I go in the shower.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Then I get out and while I put on my
- 13:23Speaker 1: makeup and do my hair, I have a straw in
- 13:25Speaker 1: the coffee my makeup. So yeah, I mean I put
- 13:28Speaker 1: myself together changing over there, not makeup, but put myself together. Anyway,
- 13:33Speaker 1: we got into this conversation after the show, and what
- 13:36Speaker 1: order do you do things? For example, at the end
- 13:38Speaker 1: of the day, do you eat your dinner, relax, then
- 13:43Speaker 1: clean up or clean up them? Relax? Isn't he clean up?
- 13:46Speaker 5: No? Yes, first, And I like to clean as I
- 13:49Speaker 5: go when I'm cooking, by the way, but you, oh
- 13:51Speaker 5: that's good.
- 13:52Speaker 1: You're clean as you go. I eat as I go
- 13:54Speaker 1: when i'm cooking.
- 13:55Speaker 2: That too.
- 13:56Speaker 5: But then that way, when it's cleanup time, it's literally
- 13:58Speaker 5: just the dishes that you ate on, on a few
- 14:01Speaker 5: cups and then maybe a pants.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Well what about in the morning, so, Tanya, do you
- 14:05Speaker 1: wet your toothbrush first or put the toothpaste on dry.
- 14:07Speaker 4: I put the toothpaste on dry.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Me too, I do too.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Oh what good.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Those cute.
- 14:11Speaker 1: And then do you put water on the toothpaste?
- 14:13Speaker 9: Yes?
- 14:14Speaker 2: I do me too, although we heard it's not necessary
- 14:16Speaker 2: from that dentist. Remember, I know, but it's so dry.
- 14:20Speaker 1: What about when you get dressed? Do you put your
- 14:22Speaker 1: pants on first or your socks on first?
- 14:25Speaker 5: So I do two different things here. When I'm dressing
- 14:28Speaker 5: my children, I put socks on first for them and
- 14:29Speaker 5: then their pants. But for me it's the other way around.
- 14:32Speaker 5: Always they slide easier when I'm putting them on them.
- 14:35Speaker 1: God, oh, to get over their feet. That makes sense,
- 14:37Speaker 1: it's efficiency. I put my pants on first, my socks
- 14:40Speaker 1: if I.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Wear any yeah, later pants reverent.
- 14:43Speaker 1: How about you, Tanya?
- 14:44Speaker 4: I putting on socks first feels criminal.
- 14:49Speaker 10: Mark you must put your pants on first. After that, laugh,
- 14:53Speaker 10: I put my socks on first. I do the same
- 14:58Speaker 10: reason assisting kids. The socks ubricate the pants going on.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Are your pants?
- 15:03Speaker 1: He's wearing acid washed jeans from nineteen eighty two?
- 15:07Speaker 4: Are your pants that they need lubricates to make it?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Your feet, you do not wear tight jeans. You do
- 15:12Speaker 1: not wear tapered tight. They're not that tight, but they
- 15:14Speaker 1: know what you mean. The feet bare feet are like
- 15:17Speaker 1: a like a like a speed.
- 15:18Speaker 5: Bumper when you're dressing three kids. It's a fish in
- 15:20Speaker 5: somethings like sucks, socks, pens, and fens. Okay, let's go.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Mine are stretchy and tight. Have you ever seen a
- 15:28Speaker 1: snake swallow an egg? Yes, that's kind of like what
- 15:31Speaker 1: it's like when I put my foot through my jeans?
- 15:33Speaker 2: Why are they so tight?
- 15:37Speaker 4: That was like such a good analogy, honestly.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Oh well, what order do you do things in?
- 15:46Speaker 2: Do you put your bracelets on first? Or your glasses?
- 15:48Speaker 1: I sleep with my bracelets on.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Oh I noticed the new one to take my chain.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Off because it makes noise when I toss. Wow, what
- 15:57Speaker 1: else do.
- 15:57Speaker 6: You want to know?
- 16:00Speaker 5: We got into this combo because of the whole Like
- 16:03Speaker 5: when you go on vacation, do you book your hotel
- 16:04Speaker 5: first or do you book your flight first?
- 16:07Speaker 7: It was.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Book your flight.
- 16:11Speaker 2: I booked my hotel first and then my flight.
- 16:14Speaker 1: What if the right flights?
- 16:16Speaker 2: Tons of flights did you from?
- 16:18Speaker 7: No?
- 16:18Speaker 1: No, you're running a wrist there. You need a book flights?
- 16:21Speaker 1: You know you can get there before we get the hotel,
- 16:23Speaker 1: because what if you.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Can get the right if you can't get the exactly
- 16:26Speaker 5: Because sometimes I'm getting a specific hotel, and if I
- 16:29Speaker 5: can't get five more rooms than you can, flights.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Not necessarily the specific hotel you want to stay at.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I'm I'm flexible, I'm not.
- 16:38Speaker 2: I have three children in a family book.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Your flights first seems so book me in a different hotel.
- 16:43Speaker 1: That sounds like too much of a circus next door
- 16:46Speaker 1: to you with all that noise. It's a kiss Sie
- 16:52Speaker 1: kiss FM. All right, so this is dividing the internet.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Let me just get your take on this toilet paper.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Lean in, like literally lean in, lean yeah, come on
- 17:06Speaker 1: in here. So there's a there's a woman posted this
- 17:10Speaker 1: on Reddit and it got people heated up. It's amazing
- 17:13Speaker 1: how heated we can get over stuff like don't let
- 17:15Speaker 1: the heat come anyway. She shares an apartment with her
- 17:18Speaker 1: platonic male friend let's call him Bob, and last weekend,
- 17:22Speaker 1: Bob invited a female friend over. We'll call her Sarah.
- 17:27Speaker 1: And so Carla, this is the woman who posts on Reddit.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Carla noticed that Sarah had used her expensive shampoo and
- 17:33Speaker 1: condition her without asking. Because they're in the bathroom. I
- 17:36Speaker 1: gotta tell you something.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I stay with other people.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I used their stuff.
- 17:42Speaker 2: I don't put it back the exact way you found it.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Either, Well, there's a lot of it. There's all kinds
- 17:45Speaker 1: of bottles all over the place. I mean, like all
- 17:48Speaker 1: kinds of different things, a lot of things that I
- 17:49Speaker 1: test drive. I'm like, wow, I've never seen this before.
- 17:53Speaker 11: They use it and I like it gross comes out
- 17:56Speaker 11: of her razors, I know. I think he means like, yeah,
- 18:03Speaker 11: there's all kinds of things I didn't know you could
- 18:04Speaker 11: have anyway. So Sarah she came back again.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Bob's like, here she comes, and Carla took her shampoo
- 18:11Speaker 1: and conditioner out of the bathroom. She removed it because
- 18:13Speaker 1: Sarah was on her way over at leaving only Bob's
- 18:16Speaker 1: basic shampoo sounds like a wanted to train leave the
- 18:19Speaker 1: station story. So when Sarah couldn't find the good stuff,
- 18:22Speaker 1: she asked Bob, it sounds like one of my kids
- 18:25Speaker 1: math and Bob asked Carla, and Carla said, well, she
- 18:30Speaker 1: is your guest. It's not my responsibility to provide spot
- 18:32Speaker 1: products for your friend. So Bob gets mad and thinks
- 18:35Speaker 1: she's being rude and not hospitable.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Uh huh, it's nice.
- 18:42Speaker 5: I would get my shampoo and condition out of there too.
- 18:44Speaker 5: I don't want those are expensive. I don't want this
- 18:46Speaker 5: random girl using them.
- 18:48Speaker 1: So does that mean Carla likes Bob?
- 18:51Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't even think about that.
- 18:52Speaker 1: That's what I think. The girl, right, she doesn't want
- 18:59Speaker 1: It's not the spot products, it's that she's in the shower.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, she wants to turn off the hot water.
- 19:05Speaker 6: She could.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I think it's so people are up in arms.
- 19:09Speaker 4: So what does this have to do with toilet paper?
- 19:12Speaker 2: And then he read it wrong, it's toilet trees.
- 19:17Speaker 1: When I read the headline, I saw toilet paper and
- 19:19Speaker 1: it said toilet Oh.
- 19:20Speaker 2: My gosh, toilet paper with you.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I was like, huh, I didn't squint enough. But
- 19:27Speaker 1: I think it's because people were saying that. You know,
- 19:29Speaker 1: it's it's it's a guest issue, not a guest issue.
- 19:31Speaker 1: But it's not any of that. No, I agree, it's
- 19:33Speaker 1: Carla has it for Bob.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yeah, but this bob platonic, Bob's guest.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Carla's not like Sarah, She like Julie's and like Tiffany
- 19:42Speaker 1: Sun like Elizabeth, wants.
- 19:44Speaker 4: To be Bob's guest, if you know what I'm saying, Carlo.
- 19:46Speaker 5: So I think it has to do with the shampoo
- 19:48Speaker 5: and the conditioner, and she's like, don't use my stuff.
- 19:50Speaker 2: I don't know you be my guest. Be my guest.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Anyway, people are very upset about this story. Kiss FM.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Ryan's rose is, I've been talking about it all morning.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Let's go, dear Ryan, Sisney Tani. I've been engaged to
- 20:04Speaker 1: a married man for over a year. I know that
- 20:07Speaker 1: sounds crazy, but he's been separated since long before we met.
- 20:10Speaker 2: There we go.
- 20:10Speaker 1: He promises we'll get married as soon as he gets divorced,
- 20:13Speaker 1: but he keeps dragging his feet. I want to know
- 20:15Speaker 1: if he would send the roads to me or his wife. Wow,
- 20:20Speaker 1: I mean what huh?
- 20:22Speaker 2: I mean they've been soried forever. Why would you think
- 20:24Speaker 2: the wife.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Don't? Because it would mean that he's never gonna get divorced,
- 20:28Speaker 1: because he's like keeps stringer on. So Juliana, they might
- 20:32Speaker 1: get engaged.
- 20:34Speaker 2: It's all weird.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I meant, Juliana. Here she is. Hi, Juliana, Hi, thank
- 20:40Speaker 1: you for sharing your story. First of all, I know
- 20:43Speaker 1: it's complicated and probably frustrating, uh, but I just to
- 20:49Speaker 1: I'm gathering getting the sense that you're growing frustrated that
- 20:56Speaker 1: he's not actually following through this divorce, Is that right?
- 21:01Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 21:02Speaker 3: And I know what you're thinking, But we're together almost
- 21:06Speaker 3: every night. We don't live together, but he has his
- 21:10Speaker 3: own apartment and every night I sleep at his place
- 21:13Speaker 3: or he sleeps at mine.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Okay, so where is the wife technically in the picture.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I mean, he and his wife are on pretty good terms.
- 21:23Speaker 3: And I see his teenage daughters posting on Instagram of
- 21:26Speaker 3: their family together at birthday parties and volleyball games, and
- 21:30Speaker 3: it just makes me so uncomfortable because they look like
- 21:33Speaker 3: such a happy family. And then he comes home to me.
- 21:37Speaker 12: So I don't know.
- 21:38Speaker 7: Now.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Every time I bring up wedding plans, he tells me
- 21:41Speaker 3: not to worry. You know, he's filing soon, but that
- 21:43Speaker 3: never seems to happen. And I just need to know
- 21:46Speaker 3: that I'm the one he thinks of first, you know.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Okay, I understand what her name is. What Maggie, Maggie,
- 21:57Speaker 1: you're Juliana. Now, just to play this out and we're
- 22:00Speaker 1: going to get to the call next. If he sends
- 22:04Speaker 1: the roses to Maggie, what do you do.
- 22:09Speaker 3: If he sends them to Maggie?
- 22:11Speaker 6: I mean, I think I have to end it and
- 22:13Speaker 6: move on.
- 22:14Speaker 3: And I guess realize I've wasted three years of my life.
- 22:18Speaker 1: But I'm just wondering if he's ever going to make
- 22:20Speaker 1: this divorce final. I think that's the question.
- 22:22Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean if it's been you said, long before
- 22:24Speaker 5: you guys even dated, and you've been dating for three
- 22:26Speaker 5: years and that's even so you're saying like they've been
- 22:30Speaker 5: separated for five years, six years.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Yeah, they've been separated for a long time, and so
- 22:37Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, he says that I don't
- 22:40Speaker 3: have to worry about it, and if he sends me
- 22:41Speaker 3: the roses, then I'm happy, Like, let's just not accuse
- 22:44Speaker 3: him of anything if he sends me, but you know,
- 22:48Speaker 3: like we can make up some excuse and get off
- 22:49Speaker 3: the phone and I'll buy roses for myself or whatever.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I feel like we're getting into it. We want to
- 22:54Speaker 1: get into it if we can find out a little bit,
- 22:57Speaker 1: but we're getting.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Well, wait a minut and you're saying what I need
- 23:01Speaker 2: to hear. So if you want if he sends the
- 23:03Speaker 2: roses to you, you don't want us to bring you
- 23:06Speaker 2: into this.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Yeah, right, all right, So remind me that because I
- 23:09Speaker 1: will forget this in one minute. Hold on one second, Juliana, please, yes, nervous,
- 23:14Speaker 1: I want to ask questions. We're going next kiss assistant
- 23:18Speaker 1: time to hear the call for Ryan's roses. This is
- 23:20Speaker 1: really complicated but also clean because, Uh, Juliana's on the phone.
- 23:27Speaker 1: She's been engaged to a married man and he keeps
- 23:32Speaker 1: dragging his feet, and she wants him to make it final,
- 23:35Speaker 1: but it doesn't seem like he's going to. Certainly she's
- 23:38Speaker 1: frustrated by it, and she's asking us to call and
- 23:43Speaker 1: find out if he's going to send the roses to her,
- 23:47Speaker 1: because that's who he's thinking about all the time, or
- 23:50Speaker 1: if he's going to try and appease the wife he's
- 23:52Speaker 1: allegedly divorcing. She says they are separated, yeah.
- 23:57Speaker 2: And for a good chunk of years, six years.
- 24:01Speaker 1: But is he ever gonna do it? And does she
- 24:03Speaker 1: need to hear something like this? Does she need this
- 24:06Speaker 1: to go bad for her to finally step up and
- 24:08Speaker 1: say I'm out not waiting any longer. Seems like that
- 24:11Speaker 1: may be what she's getting at, maybe, because remember she
- 24:13Speaker 1: told her, she said, look, here's what you should know
- 24:15Speaker 1: if you're listening. She told us that if he sends
- 24:18Speaker 1: the flowers to her to not ask any questions, just
- 24:21Speaker 1: get off the line, which means she's good. But she
- 24:24Speaker 1: also said if he says Naggie the wife, then she's done.
- 24:30Speaker 1: So I think she's asking us to help her to
- 24:33Speaker 1: move on if it goes wrong, like this is what
- 24:36Speaker 1: she needs to be pushed to go. That's what I think. Yeah.
- 24:39Speaker 4: But if she said, if he sends the roses to.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Her, do not jump in.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Who's her? There's to hers.
- 24:46Speaker 4: If he sends the roses to Juliana.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Don't jump in. Yeah, with nothing, I can't remember anything.
- 24:55Speaker 2: I think we'll put them on hold.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Juliana. Okay, we understand where we are. Just needs you
- 25:01Speaker 1: to say Ryan, you have my permission to call, and
- 25:03Speaker 1: then his name.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Okay, Ryan, you have my permission to call.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Will he send the roses to you, Juliana or Maggie?
- 25:13Speaker 1: You said, if it's Maggie, you are out. You're not
- 25:16Speaker 1: waiting any longer. And if it is you, for us
- 25:18Speaker 1: to not say anything. Yes, Okay, all right, understood, Here
- 25:26Speaker 1: we go. Good luck to you.
- 25:29Speaker 6: Thanks. Hello.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Hi is this Edgar?
- 25:45Speaker 9: Yes, it is Hi there.
- 25:47Speaker 2: My name is Gianna. How are you doing this morning?
- 25:51Speaker 2: I'm fine great. I'm calling from the os flores.
- 25:54Speaker 5: We actually deliver here in Fullerton and surrounding areas, and
- 25:58Speaker 5: we're offering a free promotion. It's a free dozen red
- 26:01Speaker 5: roses that you can send anybody.
- 26:02Speaker 2: That you'd like.
- 26:06Speaker 6: We said, a dozen roses like romantic roses.
- 26:09Speaker 5: Sure, yes, they're absolutely free. We're just trying to promote
- 26:13Speaker 5: our business. So I wouldn't need cash from you. I
- 26:17Speaker 5: wouldn't need credit card from you. I wouldn't need any info.
- 26:20Speaker 5: We can just start with the name of the person
- 26:22Speaker 5: you want to send them to and a note.
- 26:26Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, I think I could. Okay, Yeah, how about
- 26:35Speaker 6: sending him to McKenna's mc k e n n A
- 26:41Speaker 6: A e n n A.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Great. And what do you want to say in the note?
- 26:46Speaker 6: Oh? Yeah, okay, I say, low key obsessed with you?
- 26:55Speaker 2: Low key obsessed with you? Oh okay?
- 27:04Speaker 5: And is this going to be a romantic card? Because
- 27:08Speaker 5: I have cards that have like hearts and stuff. Do
- 27:09Speaker 5: you want me to put that on there? They say
- 27:11Speaker 5: I love you at the bottom.
- 27:14Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I mean it could be romantic.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Great.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Yeah, your voice is being broadcast on the radio, and
- 27:23Speaker 1: we have some questions for you. I have your fiance
- 27:26Speaker 1: Juliana on the line. Who is McKenna, a newly introduced
- 27:31Speaker 1: name to this scenario. Ke obsessed with McKenna.
- 27:36Speaker 6: Oh, hold on, what's going on here?
- 27:41Speaker 1: My name is Ryan. This isn't the point. The point
- 27:43Speaker 1: is your fiance expecting you to finalize your divorce, who's
- 27:47Speaker 1: been waiting, is frustrated. She wants to know if it's
- 27:51Speaker 1: ever gonna happen. She was concerned about you sending the
- 27:54Speaker 1: roses to your current wife, Maggie. Not the case. You
- 27:57Speaker 1: just sent them to new entrem McKenna. Who is McKenna?
- 28:02Speaker 6: All right? So so Juliana put you up to this.
- 28:06Speaker 6: You guys send me your off of roses to see
- 28:07Speaker 6: how I send it to? All right?
- 28:11Speaker 1: Yeah, and you didn't pass the test rop Why would
- 28:16Speaker 1: you do this?
- 28:18Speaker 12: Why would you propose to me?
- 28:19Speaker 6: If you're gonna me Juliana? Look, look all right, we
- 28:25Speaker 6: have to talk about this later. I don't really have
- 28:27Speaker 6: any time to talk right now. This is all right.
- 28:30Speaker 6: You don't know what's going on, and I don't know
- 28:32Speaker 6: what are you.
- 28:33Speaker 9: Ever going to marry me?
- 28:35Speaker 1: We are you ever going to marry me?
- 28:38Speaker 6: Look? I'm not talking about this on the radio of
- 28:40Speaker 6: all places. Come on, who's McKenna that's that's not important.
- 28:50Speaker 9: It's do we just talk about he obsessed with you?
- 28:54Speaker 5: Who are you? All right?
- 28:57Speaker 6: Okay, listen, we're going to talk about this later. Maybe
- 29:01Speaker 6: I gotta go. Everybody else on the phone, thank you
- 29:04Speaker 6: so much for have whatever you guys, have a nice day, Edgar.
- 29:09Speaker 1: That's not the way this is gonna end.
- 29:11Speaker 2: He's gone, and he was very polite towards the end.
- 29:13Speaker 1: But Juliana, do you have any idea? I have you
- 29:17Speaker 1: ever heard of a woman named McKenna? Is that his daughter?
- 29:20Speaker 3: Maybe?
- 29:21Speaker 2: No, because I.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Don't know who it is. I have no idea who
- 29:26Speaker 3: it is.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Well, look, I have good news for you this morning.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Yeah no more Edgar, ever, yes, no, no, no, you
- 29:40Speaker 1: need to tell yourself this is it. He's taking time
- 29:44Speaker 1: from your life. You deserve honesty, and he's leading you on,
- 29:51Speaker 1: not only with his wife that he's not finalized in
- 29:55Speaker 1: the divorce, but now there's McKenna and the guy saying
- 29:59Speaker 1: low key obsessed. To come on. This is clear to
- 30:02Speaker 1: me that the first thing you do after this call
- 30:07Speaker 1: is get out. It's not going to be there even
- 30:09Speaker 1: if he came back to you, and now send him
- 30:12Speaker 1: and finalized of divorce. Don't let him back in. No,
- 30:16Speaker 1: don't let him talk his.
- 30:20Speaker 10: Mm hmm.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, better things for you are out there.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Thank god you didn't marry him.
- 30:26Speaker 1: That's what this is. Good news.
- 30:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I guess, I guess.
- 30:31Speaker 6: Oh my god.
- 30:32Speaker 2: All right, I'm gonna have chills for you, Juliana. I'm
- 30:36Speaker 2: so sorry.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Good luck to you, good luck to you. Remember remember
- 30:41Speaker 1: all of this. Don't forget this feeling in this moment.
- 30:45Speaker 7: Okay, thank you, all right?
- 30:51Speaker 1: You know, I look, when you think about it, it
- 30:55Speaker 1: might have been harder for her to say goodbye if
- 30:58Speaker 1: he sent the roses to the woman she knows about,
- 31:01Speaker 1: now that she isn't know about this other woman. It's
- 31:04Speaker 1: almost once the emotion settles, it's easier to be obviously
- 31:09Speaker 1: upset and get out. Yeah, there's no chance he's gonna
- 31:12Speaker 1: do the right thing. He's not doing the right thing.
- 31:14Speaker 5: Now, is there gonna do the right It's like, good riddance,
- 31:16Speaker 5: be get away from him and that family, and.
- 31:19Speaker 1: It's like send it. Thank you not to McKenna for
- 31:22Speaker 1: helping you out, because she's gonna end up with it.
- 31:25Speaker 1: She's gonna have to deal with it. Horrible kiss e
- 31:33Speaker 1: on air with Ryan Seacrest on two point seven Kiss FM.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Oh my my thighs are tight from clinching them while
- 31:46Speaker 1: we did that Ryan's roses. You know what I'm feeling,
- 31:48Speaker 1: you know, not feeling.
- 31:49Speaker 5: I know there is a tense legs. There's a tense
- 31:52Speaker 5: feeling that comes through your body.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Stress. So here's the deal. If you missed, it happened
- 31:59Speaker 1: last hour. We had Juliana and Edgar on the phone.
- 32:04Speaker 1: So she's engaged to Edgar. Edgar's trying to finalize his divorce.
- 32:08Speaker 1: So he said, she's frustrated it's been over a year.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Se like, wait a minute, he I think he's leading
- 32:12Speaker 1: me on. I need to know. If he sends the
- 32:14Speaker 1: roses to his wife that he keeps saying he's getting
- 32:16Speaker 1: divorced from, I am out. It's an easy decision. If
- 32:19Speaker 1: he sends him to me, then he's thinking to me,
- 32:21Speaker 1: and I'm gonna talk to him a little bit more
- 32:22Speaker 1: about this. She was gonna like find a little piece
- 32:24Speaker 1: in that. It got worse. He didn't send the roses
- 32:28Speaker 1: to either of them. He sent the roses to McKenna
- 32:31Speaker 1: and said, low key obsessed with you on the card.
- 32:36Speaker 1: She doesn't know who McKenna is. McKenna's not the wife.
- 32:39Speaker 1: McKenna's not the current McKenna is some new person and saying, look,
- 32:43Speaker 1: he obsessed with you. Yeah, our takeaway was great. Now
- 32:50Speaker 1: it's clear. Do not wait another second for this guy.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Thank you McKenna. This is your problem now, not mine.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Right, he was never gonna marry Juliana.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Now, Edgar not my problem. Get out because she was
- 33:05Speaker 1: on the fence. This is no fence, this is defense less.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Right, that's true.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Let's go down, Monty. Sandra, good morning, how you doing,
- 33:15Speaker 1: Good morning, How are you? I'm good, super good. Thank
- 33:18Speaker 1: you for listening. All right, what's your take? I mean,
- 33:21Speaker 1: I'm pretty clear on it.
- 33:23Speaker 12: I'm pretty clear too. The man is a sociopath, a
- 33:26Speaker 12: pathological liar, and a manipulator.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Nail it.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Well, didn't take you long to get to that conclusion.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Well done, Thank you, and.
- 33:35Speaker 12: I feel badly. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. She wasted three years,
- 33:38Speaker 12: but at least it wasn't a lifetime and she got
- 33:40Speaker 12: out before they got Well.
- 33:41Speaker 1: I think that you know, you can't look back, You
- 33:43Speaker 1: got to look forward, and I think that's the thing
- 33:45Speaker 1: she's got to say. Well, at least I found out now,
- 33:47Speaker 1: otherwise imagine the concern and the anxiety she'd have is
- 33:51Speaker 1: here with this guy who's got this new person, he's
- 33:53Speaker 1: obsessed with it? Just all it sounds like you've experienced
- 33:56Speaker 1: someone with one or many of these traits.
- 33:59Speaker 5: Have you.
- 34:01Speaker 1: More than more?
- 34:02Speaker 2: I'm sadly, but yeah, and what did you learn?
- 34:07Speaker 12: I'm going to say that Edgar probably cheated before on
- 34:11Speaker 12: his wife, and may I suggest that she reaches out
- 34:15Speaker 12: to her because that may help her move on? I
- 34:17Speaker 12: have been there, like you said, and yeah, it might help.
- 34:21Speaker 2: That's interesting.
- 34:22Speaker 1: So you're saying Juliana reaches out to Maggie, who he's
- 34:27Speaker 1: supposed to be to be in divorced with, and talk
- 34:29Speaker 1: to her. Yes, what would they talk about.
- 34:33Speaker 2: What he did? Why?
- 34:36Speaker 12: At the least they could commiserate about what an assy is.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Oh, meaning yeah, share that he is seeing McKenna on
- 34:42Speaker 1: the side too. Yeah. They become friends, and they become neighbors,
- 34:48Speaker 1: friends and neighbors. Sandra, thank you so much for us.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Are you doing okay?
- 34:53Speaker 7: Now?
- 34:53Speaker 1: Are you with somebody that you like?
- 34:56Speaker 12: I'm great. I am single and I am living my
- 34:59Speaker 12: best life. That's a cliche, but I'm a great place.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Thank you for having like it well, I'm happy for
- 35:04Speaker 1: you and thank you so much for calling you.
- 35:05Speaker 12: Take care you two, Thank you so much.
- 35:08Speaker 1: All right, bye bye, Ryan's roses, Kiss FM Mondays and Thursdays. Yeah,
- 35:12Speaker 1: it's like I'm sore from the call. I get I
- 35:16Speaker 1: squeezed when we get into those moments. This is kiss FM.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Thanks for being here. Okay. So here's a new trend.
- 35:27Speaker 1: And I don't know if you've heard about this, but
- 35:29Speaker 1: it is called it's a journaling trend, right, and it's
- 35:33Speaker 1: called junk journaling. Junk journaling.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Have you ever journaled, Ryan?
- 35:37Speaker 9: Ever?
- 35:38Speaker 1: Not a journal Honestly, I will tell you. My teachers
- 35:42Speaker 1: in school said to me junior high Ryan, yes you
- 35:46Speaker 1: should journal.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Imagine if you journaled this entire time of your career.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Oh what wonderful keepsake that would be.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Yes, I didn't do it. I just blew it off
- 35:59Speaker 1: as at the was a task.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Well that's the thing.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Okay.
- 36:02Speaker 5: So that's kind of like where this junk journalin comes
- 36:05Speaker 5: into effect because, like many people, actually putting pen to
- 36:10Speaker 5: paper seems difficult and gorious. Yeah, like a chore, like homework,
- 36:14Speaker 5: Like it's just too much. But journaling releases stress. It's
- 36:19Speaker 5: a sense of gratitude. It does all these positive things
- 36:22Speaker 5: for you. So junk journaling is basically where you fill
- 36:27Speaker 5: notebooks with little things that kind of just bring you
- 36:30Speaker 5: joy and memory. Let's say you went to a restaurant
- 36:33Speaker 5: on a first date with somebody and you had a
- 36:34Speaker 5: great time. You saved the napkin and you put that
- 36:37Speaker 5: in the journal, or ticket stubs, things like that, just
- 36:41Speaker 5: random things that you just so it's nothing, it's really
- 36:45Speaker 5: nothing extra that you're already doing because you already have
- 36:46Speaker 5: this stuff.
- 36:47Speaker 2: You just slap it into a notebook, don't even think
- 36:49Speaker 2: about it, just put it in.
- 36:50Speaker 5: Just put it in, and then over time you'll have
- 36:51Speaker 5: this notebook of junk essentially, but it's meaningful junk to you.
- 36:57Speaker 1: That's what I wish I would have done. Can start now,
- 37:01Speaker 1: not too late.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hot, I know that.
- 37:04Speaker 5: What bugs me is I wish I would have saved
- 37:06Speaker 5: more tickets stuffs because we don't really have those anymore.
- 37:08Speaker 5: Everything's electronic when you go to a concert. Yeah, and
- 37:11Speaker 5: so like I wish I would have saved more prince stuffs.
- 37:14Speaker 5: Yeah it's not the same though, but yeah, so anything
- 37:18Speaker 5: I got food wrappers, pretty napkins, receipts, bookmarks, things like that.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Just put them in your junk journal. Foil from Chipotle,
- 37:25Speaker 2: that foil is special to you. Then you slap that foil.
- 37:28Speaker 1: In that notebook wax paper with the logo on it.
- 37:31Speaker 2: You see, now you're getting it.
- 37:33Speaker 6: I like it.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I do too, generally like it. Won't do it for real?
- 37:38Speaker 1: Maybe somebody listening for somebody else? Kiss FM seacrest with
- 37:43Speaker 1: you one eight hundred and five to one two seven
- 37:45Speaker 1: is our number. Into the studio, keep it handy, hit
- 37:49Speaker 1: send when we give away stuff. Damien in Pomona, Good morning, Damien.
- 37:54Speaker 1: How are you?
- 37:55Speaker 6: Good morning? I'm doing good. How about you?
- 37:57Speaker 1: I'm all right? So it says here on the screen
- 38:00Speaker 1: she unmatched me? Should I still show up to date?
- 38:03Speaker 1: What happened?
- 38:05Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 38:06Speaker 9: So I matched with a woman on Hinge and okay,
- 38:09Speaker 9: we had a great conversation on and off for like
- 38:13Speaker 9: a few weeks, and I asked her out and she
- 38:15Speaker 9: seemed excited about it, and we made the plan for
- 38:18Speaker 9: tonight at six and we confirmed last night. But I
- 38:22Speaker 9: woke up this morning and she unmatched me. So my
- 38:25Speaker 9: question is should I still go?
- 38:29Speaker 1: Yeah? Well, Tony says yes.
- 38:32Speaker 4: Why she probably unmatched you because she has high hopes
- 38:35Speaker 4: for this date and she's like, I don't need this
- 38:36Speaker 4: app anymore. I found the one.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Wow, that is showing to a conclusion.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 38:43Speaker 5: So if she unmatched you, does that mean you can't
- 38:46Speaker 5: contact her at all?
- 38:49Speaker 6: Right?
- 38:50Speaker 2: Weird?
- 38:51Speaker 1: I think it's weird. I don't know if I would
- 38:52Speaker 1: show up.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Well, right, it sounds like she's a goner.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Yes, she's moved on from you. It sounds like no.
- 39:00Speaker 1: But if you're necessarily is.
- 39:02Speaker 2: That what you did when you went out with Robbie?
- 39:03Speaker 1: Yeah, to you because she met her husband onhinge? How
- 39:06Speaker 1: it work for you? I?
- 39:07Speaker 4: Well, we weren't just talking in the app. We had
- 39:08Speaker 4: each other's phone numbers. So even if I would unmatched him,
- 39:11Speaker 4: I still could have been able to contact him. But yeah,
- 39:15Speaker 4: maybe she's just excited about the day and she just
- 39:17Speaker 4: wants to be off. She thinks you're it, but then
- 39:20Speaker 4: there's no way to contact him. If she's running late
- 39:22Speaker 4: or whatever, Well, don't be late.
- 39:24Speaker 1: If you have you made the plans. You made the plans.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Just show up. See how it goes. Roll the dice,
- 39:29Speaker 1: let's see what happens.
- 39:30Speaker 4: Worst thing you get stood up, and then maybe you
- 39:32Speaker 4: find maybe you were meant to be at this bar
- 39:34Speaker 4: and the person you're supposed to be with is also
- 39:36Speaker 4: getting stood up at the same time, and then you
- 39:38Speaker 4: meet her, and then there's your love story.
- 39:41Speaker 1: That's our fairy tale name, Tanya, that would be Damian.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Go for itredible, show up. You've made the plans. Let's
- 39:49Speaker 1: play it out. Then you'll know for certain if it's
- 39:52Speaker 1: on or off. Let's have clarity. Love you for Colin,
- 39:55Speaker 1: Thank you very much, good luck.
- 39:57Speaker 9: Thanks dating.
- 39:58Speaker 1: You can hear the depression in this voice. It's just
- 40:01Speaker 1: not fun. Yeah, an enthusiastic exactly. It's not good until
- 40:06Speaker 1: it's good.
- 40:07Speaker 4: Yeah, you just gotta find the right one.
- 40:08Speaker 1: You gotta find the wrong one, David, get out there, Okay,
- 40:11Speaker 1: go for it. I changed my swing. Take the swing.
- 40:13Speaker 2: I would not want to date again.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 40:21Speaker 2: As I was saying, I was like, oh, this is
- 40:23Speaker 2: not gonna come off.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Like to brag about.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Well, you're just saying how much like it sucks, And
- 40:29Speaker 2: I'm like.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, Yeah, I don't make it up.
- 40:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:33Speaker 4: My girlfriend doesn't even want to do it alone anymore.
- 40:35Speaker 4: She's like, you're all coming with me.
- 40:37Speaker 1: I don't want to go on alone. Either let me
- 40:39Speaker 1: go with her one or two point seven Kiss FM
