- 0:10Speaker 2: To the Mark Simon show on WR.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Robert in
- 0:20Speaker 1: West Center. Robert, how you doing.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Well? Thank you very much and happy piece of tiphany.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Mark is so on the on the money with Pete
- 0:29Speaker 3: hegsett the raid with the Hooties, the bombing of Iran,
- 0:33Speaker 3: and then now this raid demand So far he's three
- 0:36Speaker 3: and oh he's flawless. He's doing a great job. But
- 0:40Speaker 3: the funniest thing yesterday was with that idiot mndamie when
- 0:43Speaker 3: he said I have to call the president and chastise him.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Could you imagine the White House? They probably put him
- 0:49Speaker 3: on hold for like an hour with the president. This
- 0:51Speaker 3: guy's on the line. He wanted to take a call.
- 0:54Speaker 1: No, no, no, I know how Trump Panalty's I've watched
- 0:56Speaker 1: him for about thirty years. When an idiots on the phone,
- 1:01Speaker 1: he's rolling his eyes at everybody in the room, like
- 1:04Speaker 1: pointing at the phone and making faces. But when he's
- 1:07Speaker 1: on the phone actually talking to his said, he just
- 1:10Speaker 1: knows how to button them up. He says, yeah, I
- 1:12Speaker 1: really want your opinion on this. Yeah, let me know
- 1:14Speaker 1: what you think. Well, that's it coming from you. That's
- 1:15Speaker 1: very it's good advice. It's very important. And then he's
- 1:18Speaker 1: rolling his eyes for everybody in the room, holding the
- 1:21Speaker 1: phone away from his head and making faces. And now
- 1:25Speaker 1: he I'm sure he said at the end, thanks for calling. Yeah,
- 1:29Speaker 1: anytime you got any thought, Yeah, call me, call me,
- 1:31Speaker 1: keeping till you got my number, right, Yeah, well yeah,
- 1:33Speaker 1: keep calling me. He's very good at that. Remember, a
- 1:37Speaker 1: big part of his life is being a salesman. I mean,
- 1:39Speaker 1: besides building an empire and building one hundred stories skyscrapers
- 1:43Speaker 1: all over the world. I mean, you got to be
- 1:44Speaker 1: a hell of a salesman. He's great with that stuff.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Let's go to Harriet in Brooklyn. Harriet, how you doing.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Oh, it's a pleasure speaking with you.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Mark.
- 1:52Speaker 4: You're the best. Mark. We've got to get blakeman. And however,
- 1:58Speaker 4: if there is a watchman on, if there is continued
- 2:02Speaker 4: voting without voter ID, there's no way that he's going
- 2:07Speaker 4: to beat these communists.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Well, actually you can. There is cheating with that no
- 2:12Speaker 1: voter idea and all that stuff. But usually you got
- 2:14Speaker 1: to get like an extra seven percent to overcome the cheating.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Blakeman is going to be great at this. First of all,
- 2:21Speaker 1: he's the only one qualified to be governor. He actually
- 2:23Speaker 1: is a governor right now. That's what he does in
- 2:25Speaker 1: Nassau County. It's basically the governor of Nassau County. He's
- 2:28Speaker 1: done a phenomenal job, best county executive in America. Nobody
- 2:33Speaker 1: more qualified than Blakeman to be governor. Now you might say, then, well,
- 2:36Speaker 1: what is he good as a candidate. He has been
- 2:39Speaker 1: brilliant on social media the last week. The last week
- 2:43Speaker 1: he has moved. Just check his social media every day.
- 2:46Speaker 1: He's got videos up of him. He went to Buffalo
- 2:48Speaker 1: to go to the Buffalo Bill's game. That looks good.
- 2:50Speaker 1: You know, you got to win these upstate voters. He
- 2:53Speaker 1: went to a diner, then he went to this place
- 2:55Speaker 1: that's a great Italian restaurant in Buffalo. You would think
- 2:58Speaker 1: this guy's lived in Buffalo all his life. He's great
- 3:00Speaker 1: at this stuff. Pretty amazing stuff. Let's go to Joel
- 3:04Speaker 1: in Florida. Joel, how you doing.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark, welcome back. It's a hypothetical question. Where
- 3:10Speaker 2: do you see New York City one year from today, right.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Here, right next to Long Island, right below Westchester. Where
- 3:19Speaker 1: would I see it being?
- 3:20Speaker 2: I mean under Mondamie. Where do you see New York
- 3:23Speaker 2: City one year from today.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Well, go back to Doblasio and look at one year
- 3:27Speaker 1: into his first term, and it's the same thing. This
- 3:30Speaker 1: is going to be Deblasio third term. It's just going
- 3:32Speaker 1: to be more Deblasio. He's in fact, it's the same
- 3:34Speaker 1: exact people, same deputy mayors, same commissioners. Although he does
- 3:39Speaker 1: find it's the same thing with the Blaso. You know,
- 3:41Speaker 1: you look at who we appointed. This is when he
- 3:44Speaker 1: pointed to I'll find it. He just appointed somebody to
- 3:47Speaker 1: some position, like a real left wing wacka. But that's
- 3:51Speaker 1: exactly what Deblasio kept doing, the same exact thing. Now,
- 3:55Speaker 1: let me just clear up one thing about the fire commissioner.
- 3:59Speaker 1: All hell, he appointed a fire commissioner with no fire
- 4:02Speaker 1: department experience. That's perfectly normal. Half our fire commissioners never
- 4:07Speaker 1: had any fire department experience. Every mayor at some point
- 4:12Speaker 1: appoints that fire commissioner who had never ever been involved
- 4:15Speaker 1: in the fire department. The last fire commissioner at Robert
- 4:17Speaker 1: Tucker was great. The guy was phenomenal. No experience with
- 4:21Speaker 1: the fire department and he was great at it. Who
- 4:25Speaker 1: had caught your point? Charles Hines, very respected guy in
- 4:30Speaker 1: New York politics. Never had any experience to the fire department.
- 4:33Speaker 1: He was a fire commissioner before Robert Johnson at Tucker
- 4:38Speaker 1: Robert Tucker last fire commission with no experience. Who was performing?
- 4:42Speaker 1: Laura Kavanaugh who was pretty good, no experience at all.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Laura had never been anywhere near a fire department and
- 4:49Speaker 1: it was actually Obama that got her the job, called
- 4:51Speaker 1: up Eric Adams and got her the job. She was
- 4:55Speaker 1: pretty good without any experience. You could name half the
- 4:58Speaker 1: fire commissioners. Howard Safer was a great fire commissioner. No experience, none,
- 5:04Speaker 1: as in the fire department. So it's perfectly normal. Let's
- 5:07Speaker 1: go to sal in Long Island. Sal. How you doing hi?
- 5:11Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark?
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yes, Mark.
- 5:13Speaker 5: I was having an idea and was a little bit radical.
- 5:15Speaker 5: But with the violent crime having in the cities where
- 5:19Speaker 5: guns and knives are prevalent and people are getting seriously
- 5:22Speaker 5: hurt or killed, there should be a punishment or a
- 5:25Speaker 5: deterrent for the person with the gun and knife.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we had all that stuff, mandatory jail if
- 5:31Speaker 1: you have it. We had all these tough gun laws.
- 5:33Speaker 1: You know, you go right to jail with a gun
- 5:34Speaker 1: if you use a gun, and you had an extra
- 5:35Speaker 1: ten years. We had all that stuff. Thank Andrew Cuomo
- 5:38Speaker 1: for getting rid of all that stuff. He's the guy
- 5:40Speaker 1: that got rid of bail. It's Andrew Cuomo. You know,
- 5:43Speaker 1: no bail, no jail, close the prisons, drop all this
- 5:47Speaker 1: and him and the Democrats and the legislature and Democrats
- 5:51Speaker 1: all over in different cities, different states. They got rid
- 5:54Speaker 1: of all these things. In fact, even if you've been
- 5:58Speaker 1: picked up thirty seven times, if you'd come into court,
- 6:01Speaker 1: you remember it used to be three strikes near out.
- 6:03Speaker 1: You could come into court. Happens every day forty two
- 6:06Speaker 1: prior arrests. That judge lets you out. No bail, no jail,
- 6:09Speaker 1: thanks to Andrew Cuomo. Hey, when we come back, Bill O'Reilly.
- 6:12Speaker 1: We haven't talked to him in a few weeks. He's
- 6:14Speaker 1: been away. I've been away. We'll talk to Bill O'Reilly
- 6:16Speaker 1: next on seven to ten wor
