- 0:02Speaker 1: Welcome, it is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson
- 0:05Speaker 1: with you, Senator. I can't believe we're saying this. We're
- 0:07Speaker 1: barely a week out from Election Day. The midterms are
- 0:10Speaker 1: finally here. We've got a lot going on with the midterms,
- 0:14Speaker 1: by the way.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Election Day is eight days away. I'm on the road nonstop.
- 0:19Speaker 2: The candidates are on the road nonstop. The president is
- 0:21Speaker 2: on the road nonstop. This is it. These are the
- 0:24Speaker 2: final eight days. Before we get into any of that, though,
- 0:27Speaker 2: we do need to stop and have a moment of silence.
- 0:30Speaker 2: A moment of silence. a moment of reflection, because there
- 0:34Speaker 2: are hearts that are heavy. There are hearts that are sad.
- 0:37Speaker 2: There are little boys who cried themselves to sleep last night,
- 0:41Speaker 2: yelling at the ceiling, why, why, why? Why me, God, why?
- 0:47Speaker 2: And we are joined by one of those little boys
- 0:51Speaker 2: who had a sleepless night last night. It seemed some
- 0:54Speaker 2: very large men from Mississippi got on a plane and
- 0:58Speaker 2: flew west and came to the mighty Austin, Texas. And
- 1:02Speaker 2: those Mississippi fellas, they felt good. They were ranked the
- 1:05Speaker 2: number seven football team in the country. A big, big deal.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Number seven. And they were playing the measly number 19
- 1:16Speaker 2: ranked Longhorns. The team that was number one two weeks ago. Yeah,
- 1:20Speaker 2: keep going. If my math does right, that's 12 spots
- 1:25Speaker 2: lower in the rankings.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 1:29Speaker 4: And.
- 1:30Speaker 2: You know, Julius Caesar said, winnie-witty-wicky, I came, I saw,
- 1:35Speaker 2: I conquered. And old Miss, they don't really do Latin,
- 1:39Speaker 2: so instead they did winnie-witty, I got my ass kicked. Benjamin,
- 1:44Speaker 2: I am so, so, so not sorry. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I was hoping we were just going to make it
- 1:52Speaker 1: straight through that non-story to the midterms, but no, no,
- 1:57Speaker 1: you had to just make sure you gloated a little bit.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I was a little disappointed. I thought for sure I
- 2:02Speaker 1: was going to get a text from you at the
- 2:04Speaker 1: end of the game. And I was like, all right.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I was ready for it. I was willing to take
- 2:07Speaker 1: my beating. And then you said nothing. And I was like,
- 2:09Speaker 1: he's plotting tomorrow mornings. He's plotting tomorrow morning. That's what
- 2:12Speaker 1: you just did. That's how you play.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I am being entirely honest and sincere. And I'm trying
- 2:19Speaker 2: to reflect the pain. And to be fair, Texas, I mean,
- 2:22Speaker 2: we did have the Oklahoma game and the Florida game.
- 2:25Speaker 2: So we have had some pain of our own.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Yes. Yes.
- 2:28Speaker 2: And it's only right that we shared the love.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Congratulations. See, I can be a kind, sore loser.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Congratulations. We will accept it.
- 2:37Speaker 1: At home, you won a big game, and you used
- 2:39Speaker 1: to be number one in the nation two weeks ago.
- 2:41Speaker 1: So we'll see where you land after this. So there's
- 2:42Speaker 1: always the upside here.
- 2:45Speaker 2: That's true. We may just switch rankings, which would be okay.
- 2:47Speaker 2: That would be moving in the right direction.
- 2:49Speaker 4: All right.
- 2:50Speaker 1: That being said, I'm going to move on.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Let's talk politics. Yeah, let's talk politics. And in particular,
- 2:55Speaker 2: I want to say we got an interesting look in
- 2:59Speaker 2: a crystal ball this week. Because Barack Obama came to
- 3:03Speaker 2: the state of Ohio. And he came to campaign for
- 3:06Speaker 2: Sherrod Brown, one of the most liberal senators ever to serve.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Democrat who was beaten in 2022, but he's running again.
- 3:13Speaker 2: He's running against John Husted and is a very, very
- 3:16Speaker 2: close race. He's got a real chance of winning. I
- 3:19Speaker 2: obviously hope Husted wins, but it's close. And Obama gave
- 3:24Speaker 2: a lengthy speech. We're going to play a number of
- 3:27Speaker 2: excerpts from that speech. The reason I say it's a
- 3:30Speaker 2: crystal ball is I believe the speech Barack Obama gave
- 3:34Speaker 2: in Ohio is a preview of what the 2028 presidential
- 3:38Speaker 2: election will look like. He laid out the themes. He
- 3:41Speaker 2: laid out what the Democrats are saying. And it's a
- 3:45Speaker 2: real good ability to look into the future. This is
- 3:49Speaker 2: what's coming. That's what we're going to dive into this podcast.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Yeah, before we get to that audio, though, I do
- 3:54Speaker 1: want to talk to you real quick about what is happening,
- 3:57Speaker 1: especially since the fall of Roe v. Wade, and it
- 4:00Speaker 1: was overturned. Abortion in America, it did not disappear, unfortunately.
- 4:05Speaker 1: According to the Guttmacher Institute, approximately 1,006,000 babies have been aborted.
- 4:12Speaker 1: That's how many have occurred in America in 2023 alone. Now,
- 4:15Speaker 1: that was a nearly 14% increase over 2020. and an
- 4:22Speaker 1: estimated 65% for chemical abortions, which is commonly known today
- 4:27Speaker 1: as abortion pills. Now, I want you to think about
- 4:29Speaker 1: how much the landscape has actually changed. Roe fell, but
- 4:33Speaker 1: abortion did not end. As laws and access have shifted
- 4:37Speaker 1: from state to state, abortions have increasingly moved online, with
- 4:41Speaker 1: abortion pills marketed as health care and made available through websites,
- 4:45Speaker 1: including unregulated sites that allow women to order pills online.
- 4:49Speaker 1: without physician oversight. Americans United for Life knows the fight
- 4:54Speaker 1: for human life did not end when Roe was overturned
- 4:57Speaker 1: and continues its work through law, policy, education, and advocacy. Now,
- 5:03Speaker 1: if you want to support that work, and it's incredibly important,
- 5:07Speaker 1: you can make a gift to Americans United for Life today.
- 5:11Speaker 1: They need all of our help. It's at aul.org slash verdict.
- 5:16Speaker 1: The debate didn't end with Roe. The work continues. So
- 5:20Speaker 1: support Americans United for Life at AUL.org slash verdict. That's
- 5:25Speaker 1: AUL.org slash verdict. Senator, let's let's start again. You mentioned
- 5:31Speaker 1: this Barack Obama. He this was you're right. A not
- 5:35Speaker 1: just a campaign speech. It was a speech of what's
- 5:38Speaker 1: coming if Democrats win, what their future they want for
- 5:41Speaker 1: this country. And we're going to play a couple of different,
- 5:44Speaker 1: we'll break in here, but it's important that you hear
- 5:46Speaker 1: exactly what he said. Take a listen.
- 5:50Speaker 4: So when you go through all this, the tally of promises,
- 5:55Speaker 4: things have not worked out the way we might have expected.
- 5:58Speaker 5: Although I must say, I did expect it. And let's
- 6:04Speaker 5: be honest.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Does anybody really think this guy in the White House
- 6:10Speaker 4: right now is spending all that time thinking about these issues?
- 6:15Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know if you've noticed, but he
- 6:18Speaker 4: seems very focused on home renovations. He should be on HGTV.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Guy's building a ballroom that's bigger than the White House.
- 6:32Speaker 4: paved over the rose garden put a helicopter pad on
- 6:36Speaker 4: the south lawn and and there's gold everywhere what's up
- 6:40Speaker 4: with the gold.
- 6:44Speaker 5: Everything more gold he's got the.
- 6:46Speaker 4: White ass looking like saddam hussein opened a cheesecake.
- 6:50Speaker 5: Factory just gold from meme coins.
- 6:55Speaker 4: To taxpayer-funded contracts for his kids companies and this is
- 7:01Speaker 4: someone who has become billions of dollars wealthier in office.
- 7:07Speaker 5: And by the way, this is not disputed. I'm not
- 7:10Speaker 5: making this up. It's all there.
- 7:14Speaker 4: And not a single Republican in Congress has done anything
- 7:21Speaker 4: to stop it.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Not John Huston.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Not any of the Republicans on the ballot here in Ohio,
- 7:30Speaker 4: most of them have supported him every step of the way.
- 7:34Speaker 4: So you remember that old thing about Drain the Swamp?
- 7:38Speaker 4: The only thing that got drained was the reflecting pool
- 7:42Speaker 4: in the National Mall after some no-bid contract got it
- 7:46Speaker 4: all messed up. And then they tried to blame a
- 7:49Speaker 4: three-time Olympian and say he vandalized it.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Senator, it really is amazing that this is the beginning
- 7:56Speaker 1: of their closing argument right now to voters about a
- 7:58Speaker 1: week out.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Well, yes and no. I would not dismiss what Obama
- 8:04Speaker 2: is doing there. I think it's important to remember Obama
- 8:08Speaker 2: may be the most effective Democrat politician of our lifetime.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It's either Obama or Bill Clinton. And the two of
- 8:15Speaker 2: them literally stand head and shoulders above every other Democrat
- 8:18Speaker 2: we've ever seen. Head and shoulders above Joe Biden, above
- 8:21Speaker 2: Kamala Harris. above John Kerry, above Al Gore. Obama's ability
- 8:27Speaker 2: to communicate is really powerful. It's really dangerous, to be honest.
- 8:32Speaker 2: If we didn't have the 22nd Amendment, it wouldn't surprise
- 8:36Speaker 2: me if Obama spent the rest of his life in
- 8:38Speaker 2: the White House. The guy is a political force. And
- 8:44Speaker 2: he gives you a preview of what to expect, both
- 8:47Speaker 2: what to expect January of 2027, but also what to
- 8:51Speaker 2: expect in the 28th campaign. If the Democrats take one
- 8:55Speaker 2: or both houses of Congress, you can expect hearing after
- 9:00Speaker 2: hearing after hearing with a central focus on corruption. Corruption
- 9:06Speaker 2: being the major theme that the Democrats are going to push.
- 9:10Speaker 2: They're going to push corruption targeted at the president. They're
- 9:13Speaker 2: going to push corruption targeted at the president's family. They're
- 9:16Speaker 2: going to push corruption targeted at the cabinet and the sub-cabinet,
- 9:20Speaker 2: everyone working in the administration. And part of their narrative
- 9:24Speaker 2: that they're already laying out is they're going to push
- 9:26Speaker 2: corruption tied to data centers and tied to cryptocurrency and
- 9:31Speaker 2: try to loop all of that into it. By the way,
- 9:34Speaker 2: if they succeed on using corruption to shut down all
- 9:38Speaker 2: new data center construction, there's about $ 765 billion of data
- 9:44Speaker 2: center construction plans that are scheduled to go into place.
- 9:47Speaker 2: If that goes to zero, the economy will immediately go
- 9:51Speaker 2: into a recession. That is driving and keeping the economy moving.
- 9:56Speaker 2: And so if the Democrats succeed in crippling data center construction,
- 10:00Speaker 2: the economy moves into a recession and the Democrats then
- 10:03Speaker 2: blame all of that on Trump. Because the Democrats are
- 10:06Speaker 2: rooting for a recession. They want the economy to go really,
- 10:10Speaker 2: really badly the next two years because they believe if
- 10:13Speaker 2: the economy is in terrible shape, That sets them up
- 10:16Speaker 2: to win in 28. And understand, these Democrats, they don't
- 10:19Speaker 2: care about your life. They don't care about whether you
- 10:22Speaker 2: have enough money to pay your bills, to feed your kids,
- 10:25Speaker 2: to pay your mortgage. They don't care about if you're safe. Remember,
- 10:28Speaker 2: when they were in power, they released criminals and illegal
- 10:32Speaker 2: aliens every single day. They didn't care about who was
- 10:34Speaker 2: murdered by those criminals. They didn't care about the women
- 10:37Speaker 2: who were raped. They didn't care about the children who
- 10:38Speaker 2: were assaulted. And by the way, I say they didn't care.
- 10:41Speaker 2: That sounds a little harsh. But we had hearing after
- 10:45Speaker 2: hearing where I would bring up the names of the
- 10:47Speaker 2: women raped, of the children assaulted, of the women murdered.
- 10:50Speaker 2: And not a single Democrat would even acknowledge they exist.
- 10:53Speaker 2: They wouldn't say their names. We had one where the
- 10:56Speaker 2: parents of one woman who was murdered were there in
- 11:00Speaker 2: the hearing room. And Dick Durbin, who is the senator
- 11:03Speaker 2: of Illinois where it happened, would not even acknowledge the
- 11:08Speaker 2: grieving parents. So they don't care. It does not matter
- 11:11Speaker 2: to them. What matters to them is power. That is
- 11:15Speaker 2: going to be one of the major themes. And look,
- 11:19Speaker 2: what Obama does in this segment, the specific building projects
- 11:23Speaker 2: that Trump is doing, I think are highly defensible and
- 11:29Speaker 2: on the merits, very useful. If you look at the ballroom,
- 11:33Speaker 2: the ballroom, much of it is under construction. I think
- 11:36Speaker 2: every president for hundreds of years is going to thank
- 11:38Speaker 2: Donald Trump for building that ballroom. Right now, The White
- 11:42Speaker 2: House does not have a meeting place for a large gathering.
- 11:46Speaker 2: The largest gathering you can have in the White House
- 11:48Speaker 2: for a seated dinner, for a state dinner, is the
- 11:51Speaker 2: East Room. It's about 160 people. You can't have a
- 11:56Speaker 2: gathering larger than that. Now, look, there are a lot
- 11:58Speaker 2: of official events.
- 11:59Speaker 1: By the way, let's just help you explain when you
- 12:00Speaker 1: say this. If you've ever been to a rehearsal dinner
- 12:02Speaker 1: where it was packed and it felt like the room
- 12:05Speaker 1: was too small, that's how that room feels for almost
- 12:08Speaker 1: every presidential event, whether it's Obama in there, Biden in there.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Clinton in there, Bush in there, it doesn't matter. Like,
- 12:12Speaker 1: it feels crammed. You've been to several of these. I
- 12:15Speaker 1: have as well. I mean, it is tight.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and look, 160 people. I think a wedding rehearsal
- 12:21Speaker 2: is a good example. When Heidi and I got married,
- 12:24Speaker 2: we had about 300 people at our wedding. We didn't
- 12:26Speaker 2: have a particularly lavish wedding, but it was, you know,
- 12:29Speaker 2: she invited her friends and family. I invited my friends
- 12:31Speaker 2: and family. We had about 300 people. There are a
- 12:35Speaker 2: lot of events happening. in politics and life that are
- 12:38Speaker 2: much bigger than 160 people. And the new building, the
- 12:42Speaker 2: new ballroom that's being built, will seat about 1,000 people.
- 12:46Speaker 2: That means you can do a large event. That means
- 12:48Speaker 2: a state dinner, head of state is in. You could
- 12:51Speaker 2: invite a lot of people who need to be at
- 12:53Speaker 2: that dinner, who would be valuable to have those interactions.
- 12:57Speaker 2: And actually, Trump in all likelihood, will never get to
- 13:00Speaker 2: use the ballroom. It's going to be completed the end
- 13:03Speaker 2: of 2028. He may get one dinner in there on
- 13:05Speaker 2: his way out the door, but he's literally building this
- 13:08Speaker 2: for his successors because the construction is going to take
- 13:12Speaker 2: the entirety of his presidency. I'll say also there is
- 13:16Speaker 2: a massive security element to the ballroom. The ballroom goes very,
- 13:19Speaker 2: very deep. Much of the building was digging this hole
- 13:22Speaker 2: that goes way down. So they put a hospital down there.
- 13:25Speaker 2: They put secure rooms. They put Secret Service has all
- 13:29Speaker 2: sorts of rooms with weapons in it and secure locations.
- 13:32Speaker 2: In the event of a military conflict, you've got to
- 13:34Speaker 2: be able to get the president somewhere safe, somewhere he
- 13:37Speaker 2: can survive a nuclear attack, somewhere if he's injured that
- 13:40Speaker 2: he can be treated without having to leave the compound.
- 13:43Speaker 2: The Secret Service was thrilled to be able to build
- 13:47Speaker 2: it right, to be able to build a real secure
- 13:51Speaker 2: facility that will protect future presidents. And again, let me
- 13:54Speaker 2: underscore that. Almost none of that's going to benefit Trump.
- 13:58Speaker 2: It'll be finished right when he leaves the White House.
- 14:00Speaker 2: So it's the next presidents that will have the much
- 14:03Speaker 2: more secure location. They're building the roof of the ballroom
- 14:05Speaker 2: with extensive anti-drone technology. It's not complicated that the world
- 14:10Speaker 2: of warfare, drones are a critical part of it. And
- 14:13Speaker 2: I believe we are in an era where we are
- 14:16Speaker 2: going to see drone assassinations. That that is one of
- 14:20Speaker 2: the next steps of political violence is people using drones
- 14:24Speaker 2: to assassinate someone they dislike. And the White House sees
- 14:28Speaker 2: that as well, which is why they're putting anti-drone technology
- 14:31Speaker 2: on the ballroom to protect the president, to protect members
- 14:34Speaker 2: of the cabinet, members of Congress, and other foreign heads
- 14:37Speaker 2: of state that are there meeting with the president. I
- 14:40Speaker 2: think it is, on the merits, an entirely good renovation. Likewise,
- 14:46Speaker 2: the Rose Garden. I was sort of joking with the president,
- 14:49Speaker 2: the phrase paved over the rose garden sounds really kind
- 14:52Speaker 2: of harsh and jarring. Like, wow, why would you do that?
- 14:56Speaker 2: It is not actually accurate. So the roses are still there.
- 14:59Speaker 2: They're still a rose garden. The difference is in the
- 15:02Speaker 2: middle of the rose garden, there used to be grass
- 15:05Speaker 2: and the grass when it rained would turn into mud.
- 15:08Speaker 2: And so you'd do an event in the rose garden
- 15:10Speaker 2: and everyone's shoes would stick in the mud. Women who
- 15:12Speaker 2: were wearing high heels would like, really stick in the mud,
- 15:16Speaker 2: the grass would get all ripped up. What the president
- 15:20Speaker 2: did is he basically made it a patio, which is
- 15:22Speaker 2: he put marble pavers down there into a patio. The
- 15:25Speaker 2: roses are still there surrounding it, so the roses haven't changed.
- 15:29Speaker 2: What's changed now is it's a really good place to
- 15:33Speaker 2: hold an outdoor event where the marble works well. I've
- 15:39Speaker 2: done multiple events in the Rose Garden, and it is
- 15:42Speaker 2: objectively better. Likewise with the helipad. Now, as you know,
- 15:47Speaker 2: as we talked about on the podcast, I got for
- 15:49Speaker 2: the first time to ride on Marine One. I'd never
- 15:51Speaker 2: done that before. I was really excited about doing it.
- 15:54Speaker 2: You know, we've all seen the images on TV of
- 15:57Speaker 2: the president, often the president, the first lady walking through
- 16:00Speaker 2: the South Lawn to Marine One. That's just walking across
- 16:05Speaker 2: grass is what it's been historically. And the president said
- 16:07Speaker 2: the same problem was when it rained. Your shoes were
- 16:10Speaker 2: covered in mud. If the first lady was wearing high heels,
- 16:12Speaker 2: it was a real problem. They'd get stuck in the mud.
- 16:16Speaker 2: You know, think about it, Ben, at our houses. You know,
- 16:19Speaker 2: our wives don't walk in the backyard in high heels
- 16:22Speaker 2: like that. They just yell at you if you wanted
- 16:24Speaker 2: them to do that. And you couldn't get to the
- 16:28Speaker 2: helicopter without walking through the mud. And also, there is
- 16:33Speaker 2: a new Marine One that is a bigger and more
- 16:36Speaker 2: powerful helicopter. And the problem was when it landed on
- 16:39Speaker 2: the South lawn, the downdraft from the blades was so
- 16:43Speaker 2: strong that it was just tearing the grass up permanently.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Like the grass was not strong enough to take that
- 16:49Speaker 2: much wind. And so the helipad that the president built,
- 16:53Speaker 2: it's a beautiful helipad. It has the seal of the
- 16:56Speaker 2: president of the United States. And he also built a pathway.
- 16:59Speaker 2: So now you can walk on a pathway and not
- 17:02Speaker 2: have to walk through the mud to get to the helicopter.
- 17:04Speaker 2: That too, all three of these, will be used and
- 17:08Speaker 2: appreciated by future presidents. That being said, it's worth understanding
- 17:14Speaker 2: what Obama is doing, and he's doing it very effectively.
- 17:17Speaker 2: The real message here is he doesn't care about us.
- 17:22Speaker 2: That he's doing home renovations, he's doing these projects that
- 17:26Speaker 2: are vanity projects, that's what Obama's arguing, because your life
- 17:31Speaker 2: doesn't matter to him. Now, the Democrats are very good
- 17:35Speaker 2: at engaging in Freudian projection, which is what they are doing,
- 17:40Speaker 2: they accuse you of doing. In this instance, we talked
- 17:43Speaker 2: about how the Democrats don't care if we go in
- 17:46Speaker 2: a recession. They want a recession. They don't care if
- 17:48Speaker 2: innocent Americans are killed by illegal immigrants they release. They
- 17:51Speaker 2: do it anyway. Not caring is, and putting power above everything,
- 17:57Speaker 2: is how the Democrats operate. But what Obama's doing very effectively,
- 18:00Speaker 2: and we're going to hear this for the next two years,
- 18:03Speaker 2: is blaming Trump For not caring about Americans and putting
- 18:08Speaker 2: himself first. That's a really strong preview of what's to come.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:12Speaker 2: All right.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Well, real quick, let me just take a moment. I
- 18:14Speaker 1: want to talk to you not only about the midterms
- 18:16Speaker 1: about but also how you can have a difference every day.
- 18:19Speaker 1: The stakes, we all know they couldn't be higher. We
- 18:21Speaker 1: have a president and administration fighting hard for America first.
- 18:24Speaker 1: But if we as conservatives lose focus, well, then we
- 18:27Speaker 1: know what happens. The radical left is waiting to resume
- 18:30Speaker 1: their destructive, progressive agendas. Now, protecting this momentum, it takes
- 18:34Speaker 1: more than votes. It takes every American like you staying
- 18:37Speaker 1: in the fight for our rights and our freedoms. And

- 19:42Speaker 1: That's PatriotMobile.com slash verdict or call 972 Patriot and you
- 19:46Speaker 1: can make that switch right now. All right, let me
- 19:49Speaker 1: play part two. two of this as you were mentioning
- 19:51Speaker 1: senator because this is where he gets into a lot
- 19:53Speaker 1: of the the really intense rhetoric take a listen.
- 19:56Speaker 4: The original rationale was we're going to go in there
- 20:00Speaker 4: and get them to give up their nuclear program their
- 20:03Speaker 4: nuclear weapons now the thing was iran didn't have nuclear
- 20:08Speaker 4: weapons because I had put a deal in place.
- 20:12Speaker 3: That everybody acknowledged kept them from getting nukes, and I
- 20:18Speaker 3: didn't have to fire a missile to do it. I
- 20:20Speaker 3: just had to engage in diplomacy. He pulled out of it,
- 20:25Speaker 3: starts this war.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Seven months later, six months after they declared victory, Because remember.
- 20:38Speaker 5: They said, well, this is the best war ever. It's
- 20:41Speaker 5: going great.
- 20:43Speaker 4: So seven months later, how's that war going? Our allies
- 20:48Speaker 4: and our bases have been attacked. Americans have been killed.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Hundreds of Americans have been wounded. We have run down
- 20:59Speaker 4: our stock of missiles. And Iran now has veto power.
- 21:06Speaker 4: over the Strait of Hormuz where oil goes through to
- 21:10Speaker 4: the world market. This is the reason why the price
- 21:15Speaker 4: of oil is up. Nobody disputes that. This is the
- 21:20Speaker 4: reason the price of diesel is up. This is the
- 21:24Speaker 4: reason why the price of just about everything is up.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Meanwhile, you got.
- 21:33Speaker 4: The Defense Secretary, who's squarely focused Wait, wait, don't move.
- 21:38Speaker 5: Wait, wait, wait. No, no, no.
- 21:41Speaker 4: He's very focused on important matters like the jawlines.
- 21:46Speaker 5: And testosterone levels of our troops.
- 21:51Speaker 4: And live streaming executions because that's how he thinks you cultivate.
- 21:56Speaker 5: That manly warrior spirit.
- 22:01Speaker 4: How much time do you think this defense secretary spends
- 22:04Speaker 4: looking at himself in the mirror in the morning? I mean,
- 22:12Speaker 4: you know he's working his hair because that's how warriors look.
- 22:17Speaker 5: These are not serious people. Yes, we need to end
- 22:20Speaker 5: this war.
- 22:21Speaker 4: If we don't return to some of those old-fashioned virtues,
- 22:25Speaker 4: if our fundamental attitude to each other.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Is to try and hurt other people.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Senator, can we just go back in history and remind
- 22:35Speaker 1: people about the pallets of cash that were sent by these, quote,
- 22:39Speaker 1: serious people in the Democratic Party to appease the Iranian
- 22:43Speaker 1: regime that chants death to America, that was clearly trying
- 22:46Speaker 1: to get a nuclear weapon, who says they want to
- 22:48Speaker 1: annihilate Israel, wipe them off the map. Because that's his
- 22:51Speaker 1: definition of a serious person who takes pallets of cash
- 22:55Speaker 1: and sends it to them saying, please don't do that,
- 22:57Speaker 1: here's money.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Ben, you're doing something that is not permissible
- 23:01Speaker 2: with a Barack Obama speech, which is you're actually bringing facts.
- 23:06Speaker 2: and substance. We can't have that. This is political oratory.
- 23:09Speaker 2: This is rhetoric. This is partisan lies. You are, of course,
- 23:14Speaker 2: exactly right. And this is a good example, A, of
- 23:17Speaker 2: how Obama has always done it, but B, where the
- 23:20Speaker 2: Democrats are going to go the next two years, which is,
- 23:23Speaker 2: number one, just flat-out lie. So his lie is that
- 23:27Speaker 2: Iran did not have nuclear weapons and it wasn't going
- 23:31Speaker 2: to get nuclear weapons because the Obama-Iran nuclear deal was
- 23:36Speaker 2: going to prevent them from getting nuclear weapons. That is
- 23:39Speaker 2: an absolute lie. Now, it's a lie that begins by minimizing,
- 23:44Speaker 2: by ignoring the threat that Iran poses. You notice nowhere
- 23:49Speaker 2: in Obama's speech was there any acknowledgement of the Ayatollah
- 23:53Speaker 2: routinely leading mobs of thousands upon thousands of people chanting
- 23:58Speaker 2: death to America. nowhere was any acknowledgment that the Ayatollah
- 24:02Speaker 2: and the Islamic regime in Iran was responsible for murdering
- 24:07Speaker 2: nearly a thousand Americans, mostly servicemen and women, that they
- 24:11Speaker 2: have killed year after year after year. Nowhere was there
- 24:13Speaker 2: any acknowledgment that Iran is the lead state sponsor of
- 24:17Speaker 2: terrorism on the globe, the lead funder of Hamas and Hezbollah,
- 24:22Speaker 2: and that they have been actively waging war with Americans
- 24:25Speaker 2: trying to kill us. Nowhere was there any acknowledgment that
- 24:27Speaker 2: Iran has invested billions of dollars into developing not just
- 24:31Speaker 2: nuclear weapons, but developing ICBMs. Now, an ICBM, ICBM stands
- 24:36Speaker 2: for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. You don't need an ICBM to
- 24:41Speaker 2: get to Israel. An ordinary ballistic missile will go from
- 24:44Speaker 2: Iran to Israel. You need an ICBM to take a
- 24:47Speaker 2: nuclear weapon from Iran to the United States. 100% of
- 24:51Speaker 2: the purpose of their ICBM program is to be able
- 24:55Speaker 2: to to deliver a nuclear warhead and detonate a nuclear
- 24:59Speaker 2: warhead in the United States, most likely New York or D.C.
- 25:03Speaker 2: or Los Angeles, or for that matter, where you and
- 25:06Speaker 2: I live, Houston, all of those are cities Iran could target,
- 25:10Speaker 2: and any one of which a nuclear weapon detonated above
- 25:13Speaker 2: those cities could kill millions of Americans in a flash
- 25:17Speaker 2: of an eye. None of that is acknowledged. The Obama-Iran
- 25:22Speaker 2: nuclear deal was designed, inevitably, to allow Iran to get
- 25:29Speaker 2: nuclear weapons. Barack Obama believes it is perfectly fine for
- 25:34Speaker 2: the Ayatollah to have nuclear weapons. He believes it is unfair,
- 25:37Speaker 2: it is colonialist of America, to try to stop Iran
- 25:41Speaker 2: from getting nuclear weapons. On the terms of the deal,
- 25:45Speaker 2: the terms of the deal carved out major sections of
- 25:47Speaker 2: Iran that were not subject to inspections. Anything that Iran
- 25:51Speaker 2: designated as a, quote, sensitive military facility was exempted from inspections. Well,
- 25:58Speaker 2: guess where they were doing all their nuclear weapons research?
- 26:00Speaker 2: In sensitive military facilities. Even the non-sensitive facilities. The deal
- 26:08Speaker 2: that Obama signed contemplated Iran inspecting itself. Iran sending its
- 26:14Speaker 2: own inspectors to go in. It's a little bit like,
- 26:17Speaker 2: you know, if you're in the movie Scarface. the police
- 26:21Speaker 2: calling up Tony Montana going, hey, Tony, you have any drugs? No, man, no, man,
- 26:26Speaker 2: I got no drugs. I got no drugs at all,
- 26:28Speaker 2: nothing at all. Okay, Tony, thank you, thank you, I
- 26:30Speaker 2: appreciate that. All right, fully inspected. That was basically the
- 26:36Speaker 2: Obama-Iran nuclear deal. Call the Ayatollah, ask if he has nukes.
- 26:39Speaker 2: If he says no, trust him. And finally, with the
- 26:45Speaker 2: weakest strictures possible, even those strictures... under the Obama deal,
- 26:51Speaker 2: all went away in 15 years. The entire deal sunsetted
- 26:54Speaker 2: in 15 years, which means in 15 years, Obama was saying,
- 26:59Speaker 2: then you could most definitely develop a nuclear weapon completely
- 27:02Speaker 2: free of sanctions. You can build it in the open
- 27:04Speaker 2: and we will say nothing and do nothing to stop you.
- 27:07Speaker 2: It was a disastrous deal. The single most important decision
- 27:12Speaker 2: President Trump made in his first term was to rip
- 27:17Speaker 2: up the disastrous Iran nuclear deal. That made America much,
- 27:24Speaker 2: much safer. That was a decision I very vigorously urged
- 27:27Speaker 2: the president to do. He agreed with me and he
- 27:29Speaker 2: did that. This also illustrates how Obama and the Democrats
- 27:34Speaker 2: are going to combine their lies about Iran, minimizing the threat,
- 27:38Speaker 2: claiming falsely that the Obama deal had any threat neutralized.
- 27:43Speaker 2: They're going to use it, though, to connect it to
- 27:47Speaker 2: every bit, 100% of the economic pressure, the very real
- 27:50Speaker 2: economic pressure people are feeling. Look, inflation is real. And
- 27:54Speaker 2: inflation is real because we had four years of Joe
- 27:57Speaker 2: Biden where inflation was out of control. Now, inflation has
- 28:01Speaker 2: dropped dramatically. It is much more manageable now than it
- 28:04Speaker 2: was under the Biden administration, but that doesn't mean prices
- 28:07Speaker 2: have gotten cheaper. Under Biden, they rose massively. They're now
- 28:12Speaker 2: rising more slowly, but they're rising from the higher base
- 28:15Speaker 2: of four years of Biden inflation baked in. And this
- 28:18Speaker 2: is the Democrats' entire strategy. They're trying to say everything
- 28:22Speaker 2: you pay more for. Yes, gasoline at the pump. Yes, diesel. Yes,
- 28:26Speaker 2: jet fuel. But also, yes, food. Yes, homes. Everything they
- 28:32Speaker 2: are going to blame on President Trump and the Iran war.
- 28:35Speaker 2: This is a real foreshadowing of 100,000 TV commercials that
- 28:39Speaker 2: are coming today. of hearing and hearing and hearing and
- 28:44Speaker 2: candidate after candidate after candidate, all of whom are going
- 28:47Speaker 2: to echo Barack Obama's messaging right here.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Listen, by the way, to his closing statement and what
- 28:53Speaker 1: he said.
- 28:55Speaker 5: If our fundamental attitude to each other.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Is to try and hurt other people so they don't
- 29:02Speaker 4: hurt us first, we're driven by fear instead of by hope.
- 29:07Speaker 4: if we think it's okay to snatch children from parents
- 29:10Speaker 4: or cut programs for the aged or the infirm so
- 29:13Speaker 4: the powerful can get whatever they want, we will continue
- 29:16Speaker 4: to fester in anger and division. And I don't know
- 29:21Speaker 4: about you, but I'm tired of being angry. And I'm
- 29:24Speaker 4: tired of being divided. I want to reach out and
- 29:30Speaker 4: shake my neighbor's hand. I want to get to work
- 29:35Speaker 4: doing something for somebody else. We didn't get into this
- 29:41Speaker 4: moment overnight. We won't get out of it overnight. And
- 29:47Speaker 4: none of us should pretend that any single person in
- 29:50Speaker 4: any single office is somehow going to save the day
- 29:53Speaker 4: for us and that the rest of us can just
- 29:55Speaker 4: go back to acting the same way. We're gonna have
- 30:00Speaker 4: to all make some changes, but Ohio, here's what I know.
- 30:05Speaker 4: This election can be a start. This election can be
- 30:09Speaker 4: an inflection point. This election can be a course correction
- 30:13Speaker 4: in America's.
- 30:13Speaker 5: Long journey toward a more perfect union.
- 30:16Speaker 4: Because if we're willing to turn out in big numbers
- 30:21Speaker 4: here in Ohio and across the country, if we're willing
- 30:24Speaker 4: to vote for change and vote for Democrats up and
- 30:27Speaker 4: down the ballot, then this election might just mark the
- 30:32Speaker 4: moment this country began moving.
- 30:35Speaker 5: In a better direction.
- 30:37Speaker 4: When we leave our worst impulses behind and start aligning
- 30:41Speaker 4: our politics with our highest ideals, Ohio, you and I
- 30:46Speaker 4: have proved before that it is hard to stop a
- 30:51Speaker 4: change whose time has come.
- 30:54Speaker 5: In ten days, you have a chance to do it again.
- 30:58Speaker 4: So I'm asking you, are you fired up? Are you
- 31:03Speaker 4: ready to go? Let's make Amy Acton governor. Let's make
- 31:08Speaker 4: Sheryl Brown senator. Let's get on the path to making
- 31:12Speaker 4: America better.
- 31:13Speaker 5: Thank you. I love you. God bless you.
- 31:16Speaker 1: By the way, I love how he fires them up
- 31:18Speaker 1: at the end. He says, let's make America better instead
- 31:20Speaker 1: of make America great. That kind of made me laugh.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Well, look. That entire closing reminds you of the power
- 31:28Speaker 2: of Barack Obama. Part three of this speech was 100%
- 31:33Speaker 2: hope and change. And don't underestimate hope and change. This
- 31:38Speaker 2: guy is the best P.T. Barnum, sell one thing and
- 31:44Speaker 2: deliver another that I think politics has ever produced. He's
- 31:48Speaker 2: very good at the hopey-changey stuff. Like it, I'm inspired.
- 31:53Speaker 2: I'm tired of being angry. I want to reach over
- 31:55Speaker 2: and shake the hand of my neighbor. Like that's good stuff. Now,
- 31:59Speaker 2: mind you, it's an absolute lie. Barack Obama doesn't want
- 32:02Speaker 2: to shake anyone's hands. Look, when he was president, I
- 32:06Speaker 2: was in the Senate when he was president. He is
- 32:09Speaker 2: so arrogant and aloof. It actually limited his effectiveness because
- 32:14Speaker 2: he could not be bothered to talk to senators or
- 32:17Speaker 2: House members or really anybody that everyone was beneath him.
- 32:21Speaker 2: And Democrat senators would complain about this. Like when Obama
- 32:24Speaker 2: was president, he wouldn't talk to them. It wasn't a
- 32:25Speaker 2: partisan thing. He just thought that like he was from
- 32:29Speaker 2: a higher plane and all the rest of us were
- 32:33Speaker 2: subjects that he was there to rule. I mean, he
- 32:35Speaker 2: really did think he was King Barack. And in terms of,
- 32:38Speaker 2: you know, he wants to shake the hand of his neighbor. Well,
- 32:42Speaker 2: you know, interestingly enough, he had an opportunity to do that.
- 32:44Speaker 2: He had an opportunity to shake the hand of his
- 32:46Speaker 2: neighbor during the Joe Biden presidency. And that was when,
- 32:51Speaker 2: you'll recall, I suggested, actually filed legislation to change the
- 32:55Speaker 2: port of entry for illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard and
- 32:59Speaker 2: Nantucket and the Hamptons and all of, and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware,
- 33:05Speaker 2: which is where Biden vacationed. And if they were going
- 33:11Speaker 2: to allow 12 million illegal immigrants to invade our nation,
- 33:15Speaker 2: They should actually have to see those illegal immigrants that
- 33:17Speaker 2: they're inviting to our country and care for them. And
- 33:19Speaker 2: you'll recall Ron DeSantis in Florida implemented the idea that
- 33:24Speaker 2: I had proposed, and he put together a plane full
- 33:27Speaker 2: of illegal immigrants, and he flew them to Martha's Vineyard.
- 33:31Speaker 2: And at the time I had filed my legislation, the
- 33:35Speaker 2: county executive at Martha's Vineyard, the equivalent of the mayor,
- 33:38Speaker 2: had put out a public statement. And he blasted me
- 33:42Speaker 2: for filing this legislation. He said, Cruz doesn't understand. He
- 33:46Speaker 2: doesn't understand immigration. And he said, if illegal immigrants came
- 33:50Speaker 2: to Martha's Vineyard, we would welcome them here. Well, they
- 33:56Speaker 2: did come because Ron DeSantis sent them. And what happened
- 34:00Speaker 2: within 24 hours, that very same county executive declared an emergency.
- 34:06Speaker 2: And within 72 hours, they had forcibly removed every single
- 34:10Speaker 2: one of the illegal immigrants from Martha's Vineyard. Understand, Barack
- 34:14Speaker 2: Obama and Michelle Obama have a palatial mountain, a palatial
- 34:18Speaker 2: mansion in Martha's Vineyard. Did Barack Obama reach out and
- 34:24Speaker 2: shake the hand of his neighbor? Did he say, hey,
- 34:27Speaker 2: these illegals, I've got, you know, 57 rooms or I
- 34:30Speaker 2: don't know how many rooms he has. I've got a
- 34:32Speaker 2: lot of rooms in my mansion. Why don't we set
- 34:34Speaker 2: up some cots and put some of these illegals in
- 34:38Speaker 2: my house? No, no, no, no, no. Obama didn't say
- 34:40Speaker 2: a word. He didn't want to shake their hand. He
- 34:42Speaker 2: just sat there while they declared an emergency and removed them. Because, look,
- 34:46Speaker 2: if you're a rich liberal, you've got Chardonnay to sip.
- 34:50Speaker 2: You've got cheese to poke with your little toothpick. And
- 34:56Speaker 2: you cannot be bothered to get around the dirty masses.
- 35:00Speaker 2: You know, you have instead what you do. is you
- 35:05Speaker 2: dupe the masses. Instead, you do what Obama does, which
- 35:07Speaker 2: is you lie to them. You say, listen, we've got
- 35:11Speaker 2: to be nice. We've got to be kind. We've got
- 35:13Speaker 2: to be loving. And that would be more effective if
- 35:18Speaker 2: we didn't have eight years of Obama's presidency, because during
- 35:21Speaker 2: that presidency, he wasn't kind. He wasn't loving. He was hateful.
- 35:25Speaker 2: He hated his opposition. He demonized his opposition. He went
- 35:30Speaker 2: after them viciously. But he's very good at selling it
- 35:33Speaker 2: as something that it's not. And so I want all
- 35:35Speaker 2: of y'all just to reflect. This podcast is the crystal
- 35:40Speaker 2: ball podcast. It is telling you exactly what to expect
- 35:46Speaker 2: in all of 2027 and all of 2028. This is
- 35:50Speaker 2: where the Democrats are going, and we need to be
- 35:54Speaker 2: ready to counter it.
- 35:56Speaker 1: All right, I want to take a moment and talk
- 35:57Speaker 1: to you real quick about Election Day. Between work, errands,
- 36:00Speaker 1: and family, we're all busy. We know that, right? But
- 36:02Speaker 1: with this election around the corner, it can be hard
- 36:05Speaker 1: to find time to vote. Waiting until Election Day is
- 36:07Speaker 1: a major risk. A flat tire or a sick child
- 36:10Speaker 1: could mean you miss out on making your voice heard.
- 36:12Speaker 1: And that's why I need you.
- 36:14Speaker 2: To vote early.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Go to GOPvotes.org and find your polling place and bank
- 36:20Speaker 1: your vote today. Now, if you live in the critical
- 36:23Speaker 1: Senate battleground states of Maine or Ohio, early voting is
- 36:26Speaker 1: already underway starting this week. The radical left has won
- 36:30Speaker 1: Democratic primaries across the country, and their turnout machine is
- 36:34Speaker 1: ready to swarm the polls this fall. That's why you
- 36:38Speaker 1: need a plan to vote, too. President Trump is counting
- 36:40Speaker 1: on you. Our movement's counting on you. I'm counting on
- 36:43Speaker 1: you as well. So don't wait. Head to GOPvotes.org and
- 36:47Speaker 1: make your plan to vote early. Paid for by the
- 36:49Speaker 1: SLF PAC, not authorized by any candidate or candidates committee.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Don't forget, get out and vote early. Early voting is
- 36:57Speaker 1: happening almost everywhere now. So don't forget to do that
- 37:00Speaker 1: as well. And we will see you back here on
- 37:01Speaker 1: the show as well on Wednesday morning.
