- 0:00Speaker 1: The Big Show Extra sponsored by Farah and Farah, Here
- 0:04Speaker 1: for You, Here for Good.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Comb seems like he releases songs on the internet like
- 0:09Speaker 2: every six weeks. I mean that is technically the latest,
- 0:12Speaker 2: though sleepless in a hotel room, that's we're gonna call
- 0:15Speaker 2: it the latest right now, how's it going to big show?
- 0:17Speaker 2: Froggy John and making another cool start? But the last?
- 0:20Speaker 2: This is it the last of the thirties until November.
- 0:23Speaker 2: You heard it here from what do we call him?
- 0:26Speaker 3: John has spoken that's it.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I'm going to stand on it now. At first I
- 0:31Speaker 2: was reticent, thinking, no, don't put that on me. Now
- 0:33Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna wear this. That's the last
- 0:36Speaker 2: thirties that we're going to see. So I looked at
- 0:38Speaker 2: the ten day forecasting. Right now you're good. I mean
- 0:40Speaker 2: the low tonight is forty nine, and you got a
- 0:44Speaker 2: fifty six and fifty six and fifty three. Fifty two
- 0:46Speaker 2: to fifty eight is fifty six and a sixty one.
- 0:48Speaker 2: So right now you're you are golden. I'm taking this
- 0:51Speaker 2: ten days at a time.
- 0:52Speaker 4: John.
- 0:52Speaker 2: You know how March can be. That's what I'm worried about.
- 0:55Speaker 2: If we can make it through March. That was the
- 0:57Speaker 2: old Merle Haggard song. If we make it through December.
- 0:59Speaker 2: This one is we make it through March. I'm going
- 1:01Speaker 2: to be golden. Have you checked with Lewis Turner at
- 1:03Speaker 2: First Coast? I haven't even consulted people I know who
- 1:05Speaker 2: do actually no weather, we actually do, like Mike Pringley.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Maybe he's fringly. I know Mike, I know Lou, I
- 1:10Speaker 2: know Degan. I know he's still following the weather. Mike Burrish,
- 1:13Speaker 2: I good buddies with him. Haven't asked the first name
- 1:16Speaker 2: one of them. I'm going out in the limb, right
- 1:18Speaker 2: they're just saying, yeah, that's it for the thirties.
- 1:19Speaker 3: I'm not checking the weather at all. I'm relying on
- 1:21Speaker 3: our own groundhog because you don't need a shadow. You're
- 1:25Speaker 3: Jacksonville native.
- 1:26Speaker 5: That's enough right there.
- 1:27Speaker 2: It's too funny. Oh man, what a day last yesterday?
- 1:31Speaker 4: Was?
- 1:31Speaker 2: It was cold yesterday pretty much all day? Yeah?
- 1:34Speaker 6: Yeah, I thought it was gonna warm up and be nice,
- 1:36Speaker 6: even in the sunshine. It was old chill you say,
- 1:38Speaker 6: because it was windy.
- 1:39Speaker 2: It was. And that's the great thing. Right now, it's
- 1:41Speaker 2: thirty five, but it feels like thirty five that's the
- 1:45Speaker 2: good news. This morning, there's no wind chill, because yesterday
- 1:47Speaker 2: it was stupid. We're out picking up pine cones in
- 1:50Speaker 2: the backyard and with our grandson and uh we got
- 1:55Speaker 2: about halfway through and said, okay, too cold, too cold.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Then we go yep cold.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Yesterday we trail starts shaking because all the winds and
- 2:01Speaker 3: the branches are smacking the side. I'm like, no, I'm
- 2:04Speaker 3: not leaving now, no way. Last night I had meatball subs.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Oh yeah. Did you make them fresh yourself or did
- 2:13Speaker 3: you go pick them up somewhere? I mean they were
- 2:15Speaker 3: frozen meatballs. But I put it all together and seasoned
- 2:18Speaker 3: and toasted them. You know, it was it was a
- 2:20Speaker 3: comfort food John.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I had a big salad, nice homemade, big salad. That's good.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Brought some green onions, you know, chop them up in there.
- 2:28Speaker 2: It's perfect. How about you chewies out out of town center? Nice?
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:32Speaker 6: I met some friends from New York. Had enough chips
- 2:34Speaker 6: and sausa to feed an army.
- 2:36Speaker 2: That case.
- 2:37Speaker 5: So it chewese is so cold, spicy odds so good.
- 2:40Speaker 2: That's all he could talk about. Because we were set
- 2:42Speaker 2: up right across the street from them. When we were
- 2:44Speaker 2: doing a stuff the bus with First Coast News, and
- 2:47Speaker 2: every so often he froggy walk by the now che
- 2:49Speaker 2: you talked about that white sauce like all morning.
- 2:52Speaker 6: It wasn't open yet, that could have any Oh, man,
- 2:54Speaker 6: it's so good. So we went there last night but
- 2:57Speaker 6: walked outside again. Man, I was cold. You're in the rest.
- 3:00Speaker 6: It's all good, everything's great, walk outside bang. So I
- 3:03Speaker 6: just kept saying, this is it. John said, this is it,
- 3:06Speaker 6: So this must be it.
- 3:07Speaker 2: This must be that. John has to be right ten
- 3:09Speaker 2: days at a time. So so for the next ten days,
- 3:12Speaker 2: you're writing, let's kidding you out three things.
- 3:16Speaker 6: As we get started on this Jack's Wednesday. Are halfway
- 3:20Speaker 6: through the week already. Yes, I like it.
- 3:22Speaker 5: I can't believe it. This is really cool.
- 3:24Speaker 3: There are eight new cities that NonStop flights are being
- 3:28Speaker 3: offered out of Jia Breeze Airways. One of them is
- 3:34Speaker 3: to Tallahassee and another one this is awesome, Fort Lauderdale,
- 3:37Speaker 3: So you can go there NonStop flight.
- 3:39Speaker 5: They're starting at forty nine dollars.
- 3:41Speaker 2: That's insane, gets awesome. You can't fill up the car,
- 3:44Speaker 2: you can't drive it for a lot of For forty
- 3:46Speaker 2: nine dollars. You can't save a prius other than that,
- 3:48Speaker 2: you are getting a lot of forty nine bucks.
- 3:50Speaker 5: I just don't know why more NonStop aren't offered there.
- 3:53Speaker 3: I mean that really shocked me moving here seriously because
- 3:56Speaker 3: I'm like, it's only what six hours away?
- 3:58Speaker 2: Not even that?
- 3:58Speaker 5: Yeah, not even It's pretty cool.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Netflix might not be buying Warner Brothers Studios after all.
- 4:05Speaker 3: It seemed like it was pretty much a done deal,
- 4:07Speaker 3: but Paramounts stepped up and now they're in the bidding lead.
- 4:10Speaker 3: They're offering more money, and they're buying more of the
- 4:14Speaker 3: Warner Brothers features, which I guess the company wanted.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Legislation is working its way through the state government to
- 4:20Speaker 3: try to require children up to eight years old to
- 4:23Speaker 3: be in FA fastened booster seats in the car, So
- 4:27Speaker 3: we'll kind of just keep looking at that and see.
- 4:29Speaker 5: You don't want to be pulled over. Be legal?
- 4:31Speaker 2: Right, They got a lot, they got a lot of
- 4:32Speaker 2: statistics that show it does save lives. So yeah, that's
- 4:35Speaker 2: when you know, you don't know, I don't want no
- 4:37Speaker 2: government in my car. But then you go, well it
- 4:39Speaker 2: does save lovee hard argument. Yeah, it's got like seat
- 4:40Speaker 2: belts and when it's your child, that's exactly right. It's
- 4:43Speaker 2: three things you need to know. All right.
- 4:45Speaker 6: We've been slacking a little bit on this first caller,
- 4:47Speaker 6: so we need a good first caller of the day.
- 4:50Speaker 6: Call us right now, tell us why you up early
- 4:52Speaker 6: nine oh four, three eight, eight thirty six ninety nine.
- 4:55Speaker 6: Call us while you call John to let us know
- 4:57Speaker 6: hows a looking on our Jack's traffic for this early Wednesday?
- 5:00Speaker 2: So far, so good, even Iten's looking for a position
- 5:02Speaker 2: to me, being punk Satani John and saying that the
- 5:05Speaker 2: cold weather's done after this morning.
- 5:07Speaker 5: I don't buy it.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Sobrina, I'm not believing that we're not gonna have any
- 5:12Speaker 2: more cold days because.
- 5:13Speaker 3: I'm looking at the Farmer's Almanac and it ain't looking
- 5:17Speaker 3: in your favorite brother.
- 5:18Speaker 2: You need to throw that away, because yeah, it's showing
- 5:20Speaker 2: that in March that we're gonna have some twenty five
- 5:25Speaker 2: degrees fly by night. Thing like the Farmer's Almanac. You're
- 5:29Speaker 2: gonna go buy instead of Punk Satani John, who somehow
- 5:32Speaker 2: was empowered with meteorological skills. Even though I haven't taken
- 5:35Speaker 2: the first class, not.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Everyone gets that honor. It has been bestowed upon you
- 5:39Speaker 3: it's more of a gift.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Some say a curse, but I say a gift. Yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Now we're gonna create merchandise, gather the town around.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Everybody gets a top hat. Well, I hope you're wrong, Sabrina,
- 5:50Speaker 2: but we sure appreciate the heads. Wq IK The Big
- 5:53Speaker 2: Show with Frankie, John and Megan. Don't forget it. A
- 5:55Speaker 2: little after seven o'clock, we're gonna give you an opportunity
- 5:57Speaker 2: to win your way to Universal Orlando with parking. We'll
- 6:00Speaker 2: do it with the pop quiz, which is basically half
- 6:03Speaker 2: and half pure luck, in the other half little bit
- 6:06Speaker 2: of knowledge. I can't wait to video matters. I can't
- 6:08Speaker 2: wait to win that. You can't win that frog. I'm excited.
- 6:10Speaker 2: You cannot win that go to Universal. He's so excited though, Well, no,
- 6:14Speaker 2: we'll see we break the hard news.
- 6:16Speaker 6: You know, John, yesterday you would let me win the
- 6:18Speaker 6: Habit gift card. To let me win this like standing
- 6:20Speaker 6: in your way the rules.
- 6:25Speaker 2: And you're the rule followers when it comes to you
- 6:28Speaker 2: the rule.
- 6:29Speaker 5: That's a good boy.
- 6:30Speaker 2: He's a rule faller rules for thee except for me.
- 6:33Speaker 2: That's what you say.
- 6:34Speaker 6: It sounds like some other people I know talk about that.
- 6:40Speaker 6: But you know what I'm talking about. I know what
- 6:42Speaker 6: you're talking about. You see Downtown Entertainment District now going
- 6:46Speaker 6: to allow bars to serve alcohol till three am?
- 6:48Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:48Speaker 5: Is it all of them?
- 6:49Speaker 4: Now?
- 6:49Speaker 2: It's a funky little are they still doing this some
- 6:52Speaker 2: kind of something area? So whatever they call it the
- 6:55Speaker 2: core Core it used to be cut off at two am,
- 6:59Speaker 2: Now they're going to three am.
- 7:00Speaker 6: Now it's three now. I'm not a big drinker. I'm
- 7:02Speaker 6: not either, so it's not really fair for me to
- 7:05Speaker 6: have an opinion on this, right, not a big drinker,
- 7:07Speaker 6: so I would go like why, But it's just like,
- 7:11Speaker 6: is there I mean, do we still need to be
- 7:12Speaker 6: serving alcohol after two o'clock in the morning?
- 7:14Speaker 2: Megan, what do you think?
- 7:15Speaker 5: I think? Yeah, okay, I think. I mean yes. You know,
- 7:18Speaker 5: Jacksonville is such a lively city and sometimes you just
- 7:25Speaker 5: want to be out.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Sometime options Just like I used to tell my kids
- 7:29Speaker 2: when they were eighteen and we're heading out for the night,
- 7:31Speaker 2: nothing good happens after midnight. Nothin nothing any good ever
- 7:35Speaker 2: happens between two and three.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean I can attest to that because I
- 7:38Speaker 3: got sucked into pezz I came into the doors and
- 7:41Speaker 3: the light the sun was out, and next thing I know, like,
- 7:45Speaker 3: what time is it?
- 7:46Speaker 2: Think you're sweeping you out? Exactly?
- 7:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I have to stop myself from getting into an
- 7:50Speaker 3: altercation in the bathroom, and I'm like, what is going
- 7:52Speaker 3: on right now?
- 7:54Speaker 2: The answer was long al and nice tea.
- 7:56Speaker 6: Yeah, I think I thought of two of you and cutoff.
- 7:59Speaker 6: Might be might be right at this point he really
- 8:03Speaker 6: manifesting some drinker. I think we might realize that we
- 8:06Speaker 6: were correct all along. But you do you and the
- 8:08Speaker 6: city council did that, so whatever. I hope it all
- 8:11Speaker 6: works out for everybody concerned. They voted seventeen to one. Wow,
- 8:15Speaker 6: I want to be close. Yeah, but we'll sit in
- 8:18Speaker 6: those chairs. I wonder what that won Thos put your
- 8:23Speaker 6: drink down and do megaines this music sitting in it?
- 8:26Speaker 3: Well, we might all need to go to Applebee's and
- 8:28Speaker 3: maybe get some of those Applebee's margarita deals that they have,
- 8:31Speaker 3: because Walker Hayes isn't sitting in Applebee's anymore.
- 8:34Speaker 5: After his song fancy like you know it was all
- 8:36Speaker 5: about Applebee's and a date night.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Yeah, they gave him a golden Applebee's card, so we
- 8:42Speaker 3: could like eat there for free for a life kind
- 8:44Speaker 3: of thing. He no, they didn't cut it off, but
- 8:47Speaker 3: he said he's he's done. He's sobern out, he can't
- 8:50Speaker 3: eat any more Applebee's.
- 8:51Speaker 5: He's not gonna be there for a while.
- 8:53Speaker 3: I guess the man went a little overboard eating the
- 8:55Speaker 3: what is it two for twenty deals.
- 8:57Speaker 2: He's got a new hit called Chili's, so.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I just yeah, there's a country upcomer.
- 9:03Speaker 5: His name's Charlie Crockett.
- 9:04Speaker 3: He kind of denied entry into Canada because you know,
- 9:07Speaker 3: they're really strict about.
- 9:08Speaker 5: Who they let in the country.
- 9:09Speaker 3: So they dug back found a marijuana charge from his
- 9:13Speaker 3: youth and they.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Said you can't come in.
- 9:15Speaker 3: And the first thing in my mind is are you
- 9:17Speaker 3: just sore about your hockey team losing?
- 9:20Speaker 5: Maybe he closed the doors because of that.
- 9:22Speaker 2: You mean other countries don't just let you just come
- 9:24Speaker 2: and go as you please.
- 9:26Speaker 5: I know the Canadians were supposed to be now.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I thought that's what you were supposed to.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Let Jelly roll, But they won't let Charlie Crockett. Maybe
- 9:35Speaker 5: if his name is bigger.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Hits.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Riley Green put out a new song It's called pos
- 9:43Speaker 3: on social media, Rickley, do you remember me filling you
- 9:46Speaker 3: guys in on the drama about Megan Maroney her song
- 9:49Speaker 3: that pointed to Riley Green saying the double went down
- 9:52Speaker 3: to Georgia but crossed over the Albama line.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So basically it was named it Riley Yes.
- 9:57Speaker 3: And so now this seems like Riley Green's response to it, and.
- 10:00Speaker 2: It's saying like it's not so poetic when it's called
- 10:03Speaker 2: the os.
- 10:04Speaker 3: No, but it is entertaining because he's like, pretty much,
- 10:08Speaker 3: if you don't want a country boy that wears overalls
- 10:10Speaker 3: and eats that waffle house and you know sits in
- 10:13Speaker 3: a deer stand, it's your loss.
- 10:16Speaker 5: Is it looks like a Riley Green crash out?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:18Speaker 3: It does, it does. And I don't think I'm on
- 10:21Speaker 3: Meghan Maroney's side. I'm on the girl's side. So I'm
- 10:24Speaker 3: just gonna leave that right there. That's my music city
- 10:27Speaker 3: a minute.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Let's get another check on your Jacksonville traffick gets where
- 10:30Speaker 2: you're going on time. It's early jackk oh no, no,
- 10:33Speaker 2: but it's going to get warmer. Froggy John and Meghan
- 10:36Speaker 2: We're the Big Show with Country ninety nine one WQEK
- 10:38Speaker 2: thirty eight degrees is where we're looking right now. What
- 10:40Speaker 2: do you see? Yeah, thirty six thirty seven thirty eight
- 10:43Speaker 2: some somewhere roung we're going to drop a little bit.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Seven thirty normally is the coldest part of the day.
- 10:48Speaker 2: So when it hits that, that's nothing but up, nothing
- 10:50Speaker 2: but up after this. But according to Puck Satani John,
- 10:54Speaker 2: as Meghan has absolutely named him, we will not have
- 10:57Speaker 2: any more thirties after today. Does it done? We're done
- 11:00Speaker 2: until late fall.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Lock it in. That is the gospel this morning.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Usually what November December? Yeah, yeah, yeah, they don't get
- 11:09Speaker 2: and freezegain until right around Thanksgiving. I believe John, me too,
- 11:12Speaker 2: choose to believe John. So yes, y'all believe me more
- 11:15Speaker 2: than I do. So I don't know. I like it?
- 11:17Speaker 2: Now does your family believe you as much as we do?
- 11:19Speaker 2: Or no? Sometimes? Okay? If sometimes I don't b s people.
- 11:23Speaker 2: So if if I'm confident enough, then they'll go along. Right.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Just show them your top hat John, top hat gloves.
- 11:30Speaker 5: You have an instant authority.
- 11:32Speaker 2: That's it. So yesterday we did a list on what
- 11:34Speaker 2: was it the most sinful Most sinful states is according
- 11:38Speaker 2: to greed and lust and avarice and all the deadly sins.
- 11:41Speaker 2: So Nevada came in a number one in sinful state.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Oh yes, yeah, So today we have a list when
- 11:47Speaker 2: you name your city sin city, that's pretty good exactly.
- 11:51Speaker 2: So today we have a list of the most deceitful
- 11:53Speaker 2: states where people lie, cheap, steal, and scam. Oh there
- 11:57Speaker 2: might be as it might be a crossover edition from yesterday.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Is some crossovers. So we'll go.
- 12:02Speaker 6: I've got top ten here, Okay, So go ahead and Megan,
- 12:05Speaker 6: I'm gonna let you guess first.
- 12:06Speaker 3: New England Patriots Region. Whoever New England is, that's that's
- 12:11Speaker 3: number one.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Well, I mean, is Rhode Island considered that?
- 12:14Speaker 5: What even is New England?
- 12:15Speaker 2: Judges judges Rhode Islands? No, No, Rhode Island. Rhode Island
- 12:24Speaker 2: admit they lie frequently. They're from Massachusetts. I guess. Wow,
- 12:30Speaker 2: we'll give you that New England area.
- 12:31Speaker 5: Okay, okay, what do you got?
- 12:33Speaker 2: Is number one? John, I'm guessing Nevadas again. Nevada is
- 12:36Speaker 2: number one. Oh, the most state where people lie the most.
- 12:41Speaker 2: One in five residents admit they lie every single day.
- 12:44Speaker 2: What the heck I mean I've.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Lied there, I've said I'm playing on the slot machine,
- 12:48Speaker 3: but I really just want the free drinks on the
- 12:49Speaker 3: casino floor.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Maybe that's where it comes from. Honey, I didn't lose
- 12:53Speaker 2: the life savings, you know like that.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Next yest, I'm going to say Mississippi.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Mississippi not on the list.
- 13:05Speaker 5: It was always yesterday. I thought it's right.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I got Biloxi. I have to say we might be there.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Florida number three. No, Florida. People in Florida reported the
- 13:15Speaker 2: most identity theft cases per capita. That anywhere in the well,
- 13:18Speaker 2: we get ripped off, but it's people from other places.
- 13:21Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. We're on the list. All right,
- 13:23Speaker 2: we're on the list. Anybody else you want to guess?
- 13:25Speaker 3: I'm going to go out on a limb here and
- 13:27Speaker 3: say Kansas, No, No, no.
- 13:31Speaker 2: John, Midwestern people are pretty not lying. I'll stay in
- 13:35Speaker 2: the South. Then I'll go Georgia. Georgia number nine, Oh man,
- 13:40Speaker 2: got any more guesses?
- 13:41Speaker 5: Illinois one?
- 13:42Speaker 2: No, Chicago's get out of the Midwest. No, you're right, that's
- 13:47Speaker 2: only in elections, Yes, exactly, exactly. No, I guess there's
- 13:53Speaker 2: one kind of obvious Cali Callie.
- 13:56Speaker 5: I forget about them.
- 13:57Speaker 6: California number seven, So to round out the list, he
- 14:00Speaker 6: had Delaware at four, South Carolina at five, Wow, Alabama
- 14:03Speaker 6: and six now a freaking Bama, California seven, Arizona eight,
- 14:08Speaker 6: Georgia's nine.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And Pennsylvania is number ten. On the other end of
- 14:12Speaker 2: the spectrum, North Dakota is the most trustworthy state, where
- 14:16Speaker 2: no locals in the survey reported lying often and fraud
- 14:20Speaker 2: cases are at a minimum. They couldn't find anybody in
- 14:23Speaker 2: North Dakota. They're all inside right.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Now, all five families.
- 14:27Speaker 2: With Country ninety nine one wq IK the Big Show
- 14:30Speaker 2: with Froggie, John and Meghan. This is an email from
- 14:33Speaker 2: Chris and Hastings. Chris thanks he wrote this, and he
- 14:36Speaker 2: says this might be the dumbest criminal ever. An eighteen
- 14:40Speaker 2: year old guy attempted to rob a carcare shop after
- 14:43Speaker 2: demanding money. He was told that most of the cash
- 14:46Speaker 2: was stored in a safe and it can only be
- 14:49Speaker 2: opened by the manager, who wasn't scheduled to come in
- 14:52Speaker 2: for a few more hours. So let me guess he
- 14:55Speaker 2: waited on the manager. He is saving some trouble. He
- 14:58Speaker 2: left his cell phone number four the store to calling
- 15:00Speaker 2: back once the minute You've got to be kidding, man,
- 15:04Speaker 2: that was criminal. Ever, that's hardy. How's it going? It's
- 15:07Speaker 2: the big show Froggy, John and Megan. It's so good
- 15:10Speaker 2: to be with you. We sure appreciate it. Yeah, thanks
- 15:12Speaker 2: for tuning into us on this Jackson Wednesday. Doing our
- 15:14Speaker 2: best to get youerever. You're going a little bit of entertainment.
- 15:17Speaker 2: But Megan claims she made a new dessert last night,
- 15:20Speaker 2: but it was on accident.
- 15:22Speaker 5: Yeah, I accidentally invented this amazing treat.
- 15:26Speaker 6: Now, just so you know, a lot of things that
- 15:28Speaker 6: we have in today's that we use every day are
- 15:31Speaker 6: accidental inventions. There are things where they were trying to
- 15:33Speaker 6: do one thing and it actually turned into something else.
- 15:36Speaker 2: First it comes to mind is to post it note right.
- 15:39Speaker 2: They were trying to do something else and they ended
- 15:41Speaker 2: up finding out that it sticks, but sticked a little bit,
- 15:43Speaker 2: you know. And many drugs that we take were actually
- 15:47Speaker 2: being tested for something else and they found out they
- 15:49Speaker 2: work on other things. So not alone in your invention.
- 15:53Speaker 5: So let's maybe this will make me.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Rich Nobel Prize for food. It could. So what happened exactly?
- 15:58Speaker 3: I was trying to make some cook because my boyfriend
- 16:01Speaker 3: had a really hard day at work, so I was like, cool,
- 16:04Speaker 3: I'll make cookies.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Made them a hundred times. You know, I get in
- 16:07Speaker 5: my cabinet.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Since I moved to Florida, I guess I didn't restock
- 16:10Speaker 3: the normals you don't think about, like baking soda, baking powder,
- 16:13Speaker 3: had none of it. I didn't have any vanilla.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Extract, so well, you were making cookies from scratch. Yeah, oh,
- 16:18Speaker 2: look at this. I'll see. When I make cookies, we
- 16:20Speaker 2: just go by the roll.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Call me Betty Crocker.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Pop that thing open. That's it.
- 16:26Speaker 5: I didn't even have any sugar, but I had brown sugar.
- 16:28Speaker 3: So I was like, maybe I can make kind of
- 16:30Speaker 3: like a brown sugar cookie.
- 16:32Speaker 5: So I had a brown sugar.
- 16:35Speaker 3: I had like a handful of marshmallows in the cabinet,
- 16:37Speaker 3: threw those in there, and I put some honey in.
- 16:40Speaker 3: I tried to bake them. Well, there was none of
- 16:42Speaker 3: the baking ingredients except flour, so they ended up as
- 16:45Speaker 3: these cookie pancakes. The marshmallows melted in it, so they
- 16:50Speaker 3: looked a little ugly, but the honey in there was
- 16:52Speaker 3: so good and they tasted like a crispy pancake.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Cookie on the sheet pan more than one. It was
- 17:01Speaker 5: so good. He ate the whole pan. I was like,
- 17:03Speaker 5: I know, it's ugly.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Yeah, just turned into one blob.
- 17:07Speaker 3: And when I used the spatula, yeah, to try to
- 17:11Speaker 3: see is it stuff to the bottom. Thro they were
- 17:13Speaker 3: soft in the middle like a pancake, but tasted more
- 17:16Speaker 3: like a cookie.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Wow. Okay, can you replicate that and bring them in?
- 17:20Speaker 3: Yes? And actually I was thinking I could try to
- 17:22Speaker 3: make this into a loaf because all he liked it
- 17:25Speaker 3: so much.
- 17:25Speaker 5: He was like, you should call this like party.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Bread or sticky sticky party bread because this is so good.
- 17:31Speaker 6: I love it. So now you can, but you you
- 17:34Speaker 6: can recreate it. You know exactly what you did.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Oh. I wrote that down in my little cookbook immediately
- 17:39Speaker 3: because I'm like.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Was it good enough to eat again?
- 17:41Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 17:42Speaker 5: Okay, I gotta write it down. Very good, it's so good.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Okay, can't wait.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Okay, I'll make some. I'll make some again and bring
- 17:47Speaker 3: in it. But it looks ugly, so don't judge a
- 17:49Speaker 3: book by its cover.
- 17:50Speaker 2: That's fine. I don't care what. It all taste good
- 17:52Speaker 2: going down, dang right, yeah, I don't care.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Just close your eyes.
- 17:55Speaker 3: The marshmallows melt, and there's a bunch of holes in it.
- 17:57Speaker 2: So it's kind of make excuses for the food of
- 17:59Speaker 2: the nice good. I don't care what it's like. You
- 18:01Speaker 2: kind a dang bit. I ain't fat bag growing up
- 18:03Speaker 2: as a kid. That looks disgusting, but it tasted good.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Fat back.
- 18:06Speaker 2: You never had fat back, never heard of it?
- 18:08Speaker 6: Oh dude, so good. It's just it's basically just fried bat.
- 18:10Speaker 6: It's just fried fat with a little with a little
- 18:12Speaker 6: skin on the top of it. Oh yeah, it's totally
- 18:15Speaker 6: different than.
- 18:16Speaker 2: That cookie you just mad.
- 18:17Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not a dessert of any kind, but it's
- 18:19Speaker 6: but once again, they just look pretty, but it tastes
- 18:21Speaker 6: so good.
- 18:22Speaker 2: It's good. I'm all in.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Sounds like my grandma's cooking. It always looks a little weird,
- 18:27Speaker 3: but it always tastes really good.
- 18:28Speaker 2: That's it. There you go. Let's get into Megan. Three things.
- 18:30Speaker 2: What's going on on this Jack's Wednesday.
- 18:32Speaker 3: A lot of NonStop flights are now being offered out
- 18:34Speaker 3: of Jia eight new cities, including a couple in Florida, Tallahassee,
- 18:40Speaker 3: and Fort Lauderdale. Now you can hop on a one
- 18:42Speaker 3: way flight and the ones to Fort Lauderdale.
- 18:45Speaker 5: Are mean advertised that's starting at forty nine bucks.
- 18:48Speaker 2: You can't drive there for forty nine dollars. You just can't.
- 18:50Speaker 5: It is so awesome.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I don't even think you give thumb a ride there
- 18:53Speaker 2: for forty nine dollars. No, yeah, and we know we
- 18:56Speaker 2: know what Uber costs, so yeah, yeah, no, yeah no
- 18:59Speaker 2: not that's my friends we're going to over from Port Canaverala.
- 19:02Speaker 6: Jacksonville was like three or four ore dollars, so right,
- 19:04Speaker 6: hard pass much better to get on Breeze.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Are wasting big time.
- 19:07Speaker 5: Forty nine bucks, definitely.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Jacksonville bars can now stay open until three am. That's
- 19:12Speaker 3: really exciting unless you have an early bedtime and your
- 19:15Speaker 3: friends want to stay out.
- 19:16Speaker 2: And that's just like the downtown district, right they called
- 19:18Speaker 2: it the.
- 19:18Speaker 6: Entertain Sports District, North Course, the Central Core, Like I
- 19:22Speaker 6: don't know exactly how that works, but yeah, that's what
- 19:24Speaker 6: they're calling it.
- 19:25Speaker 3: And if you've got a child that is three years
- 19:29Speaker 3: old to eight years old, keep.
- 19:31Speaker 5: An eye out because it's trying.
- 19:33Speaker 3: There's a new law trying to be pushed through legislation
- 19:35Speaker 3: to require booster seats to actually have fasteners on them
- 19:39Speaker 3: for those children in the car.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Three things you need to know all right, pop quiz
- 19:42Speaker 2: coming up in just a few minutes.
- 19:44Speaker 6: We need call us nine and ten. Somebody's going to
- 19:47Speaker 6: Universal Studios or Orlando. Comes with park tickets and a
- 19:50Speaker 6: parking pass. Are are going to make it pay to park,
- 19:52Speaker 6: So call us right now nine oh four, three, eight,
- 19:54Speaker 6: eight thirty six ninety nine.
- 19:56Speaker 2: You can show with Froggy John and Meghan Bitch. The
- 20:00Speaker 2: pop quiz just a couple of minutes away for those
- 20:01Speaker 2: Universal tickets, So hang on and play along. Jacksonville Jumbo Shrip,
- 20:05Speaker 2: they are looking to add some members to their game
- 20:07Speaker 2: day team. You can help out at the Jacksonville Jumbo
- 20:10Speaker 2: Shrip at the ballpark the by Star Ballpark. You're doing
- 20:13Speaker 2: a job fair. Yeah, the job fair this afternoon from
- 20:16Speaker 2: four to six thirty, and then they're going to do
- 20:17Speaker 2: it again next Tuesday, March third. So if this caught
- 20:20Speaker 2: you off guard, they're going to do it again March
- 20:21Speaker 2: third down at the Bay Star Ballpark. Come dressed to
- 20:25Speaker 2: be hired and have fun. All kinds of good entertainment
- 20:29Speaker 2: oriented stuff. Yeah, and it doesn't have to be your
- 20:31Speaker 2: main job. This could be like a little side hustle.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Thing that you do exactly a ballpark at night, not
- 20:36Speaker 2: even eighty games, I mean sixty games maybe at home.
- 20:39Speaker 2: So you got sixty nights where you're going to be
- 20:41Speaker 2: at a ballpark for crying out loud like that stuff.
- 20:44Speaker 3: You know you yeah, you know the girls at the
- 20:46Speaker 3: ballparks that you get to wear the cute golf skirt
- 20:50Speaker 3: and game shirt and you get to throw.
- 20:51Speaker 5: The T shirts in shady people.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Are former to former promo person Jordan. She is the
- 20:57Speaker 2: host on the field. Now, oh really yeah, our friend Jordan.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Yeah here, she.
- 21:03Speaker 5: Doesn't sell beer, but I can sell a lot of beer.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Something else you could do. You would be around the mascots, yes,
- 21:10Speaker 2: south Paw and Scampy. No, yeah, maybe you could help
- 21:15Speaker 2: overcome your fear of Southpaw and just mascots in general,
- 21:20Speaker 2: because South Paw and Scampy are very nice, welcoming. You
- 21:24Speaker 2: could be your intro into overcoming that. Yeah, it be
- 21:27Speaker 2: a nice entry level.
- 21:28Speaker 3: It's probably a pretty competitive like job. I'm sure a
- 21:31Speaker 3: lot of people want to do it. So when I
- 21:32Speaker 3: walk up and say, here are my requirements, no photos
- 21:35Speaker 3: with them with those things.
- 21:38Speaker 6: Okay, would you let me ask, would you get in
- 21:40Speaker 6: the suit like instead of meeting the person, would you
- 21:42Speaker 6: be the person in it?
- 21:43Speaker 2: Like would you dress up a southpaw or scampy? No,
- 21:46Speaker 2: you have met somebody who was a mascot because like,
- 21:49Speaker 2: for example, you have gone to their house. Yeah, my son,
- 21:53Speaker 2: yeah mascot. Yeah no, and of course you agree my
- 21:58Speaker 2: son would be a mascot. I look at it like
- 22:00Speaker 2: perfect for that gig. You think about Halloween, for example,
- 22:03Speaker 2: I don't like haunted houses. I'd get scared in hunted houses.
- 22:06Speaker 6: But if you let me be the person scaring people,
- 22:08Speaker 6: I think I would be Okay, I think I could
- 22:09Speaker 6: do that.
- 22:10Speaker 2: So what's I think? Maybe being in the mascot suit
- 22:14Speaker 2: would help you overcome being afraid? Twenty twenty six, let
- 22:17Speaker 2: me be the arbiter here. Froggy, you go through a
- 22:19Speaker 2: haunted house. Maybe get the back part of the haunted house. Megan,
- 22:22Speaker 2: you get into a into a mascot suit.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I wouldn't get in it because I think I'd become
- 22:28Speaker 3: a germophobe. After that, it's the hot, sweaty it.
- 22:31Speaker 2: For an hour, I don't like, you know, hop in,
- 22:33Speaker 2: get some pictures and well that's you.
- 22:35Speaker 3: I've been in one one time and it just was
- 22:38Speaker 3: so hot like it. But that doesn't freak me out
- 22:40Speaker 3: being inside. It's just when they're around, especially that scammy shrimp.
- 22:45Speaker 3: It was at the run, the Ortega Run this weekend,
- 22:48Speaker 3: and I'm telling you I turned around.
- 22:50Speaker 5: Oh my god. My boyfriend had to he had to
- 22:53Speaker 5: be a buffer between.
- 22:55Speaker 2: He's a big boys camp Scamby's a big.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Boy Cannis on his head.
- 23:00Speaker 2: He's in. He's in with South Paul. Yeah, maybe we
- 23:02Speaker 2: start small way up.
- 23:04Speaker 5: Scampy is he looks scampy.
- 23:06Speaker 2: He's like a master's degree mascot.
- 23:09Speaker 5: He needs to stay away from me.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Jackson Jackson Deville.
- 23:12Speaker 5: He's I take that hula hoop around his waist and
- 23:15Speaker 5: fling him. I mean really, oh my god, this shamy
- 23:19Speaker 5: is worse.
- 23:20Speaker 2: For a mascot anger mistreatment, violence, no violence. That's better
- 23:28Speaker 2: than the groundhog, that environment, that varmit. You know how
- 23:30Speaker 2: the pop quiz works. First contestant guess is the number
- 23:33Speaker 2: to the question. The second says higher or lower. If
- 23:35Speaker 2: we need a tiebreaker, we'll let's toss up question either
- 23:37Speaker 2: contestant can answer. Michelle and Oakley. If we'll start with you,
- 23:40Speaker 2: what percentage of gen Zer's wish social media had never
- 23:46Speaker 2: been invented. I'd say thirty five, Tanya. That number higher
- 23:53Speaker 2: or lower? Hire, You're right, that was a great guest, Michelle.
- 23:57Speaker 2: But Tanya went in the right direction. Forty forty percent
- 24:00Speaker 2: of gen z Or's, which it had never been invented. Wow,
- 24:03Speaker 2: one hundred of punk Satani John's. Okay, Tanya, you get
- 24:09Speaker 2: that point. You get this question first. She is the
- 24:12Speaker 2: baby's sister to Mary, Kate and Ashley. The Olsens actress
- 24:18Speaker 2: Elizabeth Olsen. She was in one division and the Avengers.
- 24:21Speaker 2: How old is Elizabeth Olson? Tanya, Michelle? Is she older
- 24:26Speaker 2: or younger? Younger? Good direction? Seven? Great guests, Tanya, but
- 24:34Speaker 2: Michelle went in the right direction. Thirty seven, very good.
- 24:37Speaker 2: All right, it's tie time for a tiebreaker. If you
- 24:39Speaker 2: know the answer to this question, shout your name. One
- 24:42Speaker 2: of the most famous battles in American involvement in war
- 24:45Speaker 2: was the Battle of eu Jima. What World War was
- 24:48Speaker 2: that from? Was it World War? And? Michelle Michelle.
- 24:54Speaker 4: World War?
- 25:01Speaker 2: Right under the buzzer. Alrighty well, Tanya, we appreciate you playing.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Thank you you and Michelle, look at you. Congratulations. It's
- 25:11Speaker 2: a very universal Orlando with parking. Thank you so much.
- 25:15Speaker 2: What's planning on going next month with Country ninety nine
- 25:21Speaker 2: one w q i K The Big Show with Froggie,
- 25:24Speaker 2: John and Megan. This is an email from Chris and Hastings.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Chris thanks he wrote this, and he says this might
- 25:29Speaker 2: be the dumbest criminal ever. An eighteen year old guy
- 25:33Speaker 2: attempted to rob a car care shop after demanding money.
- 25:37Speaker 2: He was told that most of the cash was stored
- 25:39Speaker 2: in a safe and it can only be opened by
- 25:42Speaker 2: the manager, who wasn't scheduled to come in for a
- 25:45Speaker 2: few more hours. So let me guess he waited on
- 25:48Speaker 2: the manager. He saved him some trouble. He left his
- 25:51Speaker 2: cell phone number for the store to calling back once
- 25:54Speaker 2: the mint. You've gotta be kidding, Memal, Okay, good morning,
- 25:58Speaker 2: hope you doing well. It's the Big sh with Roggy,
- 26:00Speaker 2: John and Megan. A bit of a chili star. But
- 26:02Speaker 2: we're already about forty warming up faster today than we
- 26:05Speaker 2: have the past two days, and we'll get to seventy
- 26:07Speaker 2: I think almost far high today. But John, you according
- 26:11Speaker 2: to Pucksatani, John, we are done with thirty degree temperatures
- 26:16Speaker 2: that we now as we've now reached forty degrees today.
- 26:19Speaker 2: But John, it's not that I don't trust you, because
- 26:22Speaker 2: I do. You know, I believe most of what you say.
- 26:24Speaker 2: I understand, except when I talk about Florida State. Yeah,
- 26:26Speaker 2: other than that, you know, I mean, every year they're
- 26:28Speaker 2: going to be good, and so far you've been wrong,
- 26:30Speaker 2: and I'm happy that you're wrong at that point.
- 26:31Speaker 6: Indeed, however, this time I want you to be right.
- 26:34Speaker 6: But Megan, I think that we should check in with
- 26:37Speaker 6: Lewis Turner.
- 26:38Speaker 2: He is the chief meteorologist at First Coast Newics, and
- 26:41Speaker 2: I think Lewis will either confirm or deny what Pucksatani
- 26:45Speaker 2: John has said.
- 26:46Speaker 3: That's fine, that's fine, but I really think that punksatany
- 26:49Speaker 3: John is on it.
- 26:50Speaker 2: All right, Well, you know what, Let's call lou and
- 26:52Speaker 2: get him on the phone. Lewis Turner, First Coast News.
- 26:54Speaker 2: What is going on, buddy, my guy, Roggy, how are
- 26:56Speaker 2: you doing this morning? How are you, buddy?
- 26:58Speaker 4: I'm good? Just just called.
- 27:00Speaker 2: It is freezing and that's exactly why we're calling you.
- 27:03Speaker 2: So it's is that right? Yes, it's Froggy John, Megan, John,
- 27:10Speaker 2: Now here's what's happened. John has absolutely zero acumen when
- 27:16Speaker 2: it comes to meteorology. Non, I want everything I've learned
- 27:19Speaker 2: I've learned from you.
- 27:21Speaker 4: Right, that's well, then that's well, now I'm worried. Okay.
- 27:25Speaker 2: John claims that this morning we've named him Puck Satani John, Ponavidre,
- 27:30Speaker 2: John Jacksonville John like whatever you want to call him.
- 27:33Speaker 2: John says, this is the last morning we will have
- 27:36Speaker 2: in the thirties until we get to November or December.
- 27:39Speaker 2: That this this is my new guarantee. This is my guarantee.
- 27:43Speaker 2: It's the stone cold lock.
- 27:45Speaker 5: And you didn't even have to see a shadow lot.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Yeah, did you shoot your shadow?
- 27:49Speaker 3: What?
- 27:49Speaker 2: No, you're up too early. You don't see that street.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Let's Lewis, let's do something.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Let's do something together, friends, let's lock it in.
- 27:58Speaker 2: All right.
- 28:02Speaker 4: I'm with you. I'm looking at maps, I'm looking at charts,
- 28:06Speaker 4: I'm reading discussions. But then at the end of the day,
- 28:11Speaker 4: I'm just like, guys, I'm done personally. You know, the
- 28:14Speaker 4: magic number if if you want, like some old Farmers
- 28:17Speaker 4: Almanac information, like the magic number is we always think
- 28:22Speaker 4: March seventh.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Is it all right?
- 28:24Speaker 4: But you know, if you want a plant, if you're
- 28:26Speaker 4: a farmer, if you're thinking about it, scientifically, but if
- 28:28Speaker 4: you're trying to you want to wear shorts permanently. I
- 28:32Speaker 4: think this is it, you know, we we we start
- 28:35Speaker 4: warming up, we get beyond. Like we're looking at ten
- 28:39Speaker 4: days out and that will get us past March seventh.
- 28:41Speaker 4: I think we're done with it, guys.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I think we've survived. May LOUI, he's got all those degrees.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I got a trick hip. But they both work.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Hey, they both were.
- 28:54Speaker 2: It's true.
- 28:55Speaker 5: I wonder if John can predict other things.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Take me to Vegas? All right, Louis, thanks for thanks
- 29:03Speaker 2: for confirming that pucks a tawny John is in fact right.
- 29:06Speaker 2: We are done with the thirties as of hell, right now,
- 29:09Speaker 2: it's already about forty. Now we're done. That's it.
- 29:13Speaker 4: We have survived. The winner of twenty twenty six was
- 29:16Speaker 4: an unusual one.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Uh.
- 29:18Speaker 4: Now we transition to pollen. So take your allegra and
- 29:23Speaker 4: uh and and and God bless you in advance.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Yes, you want for everybody too. Months can't we enjoy
- 29:29Speaker 2: your yellow car? Lou Thank you so much, Thank.
- 29:32Speaker 4: You, lou the chief wonderful prediction.
- 29:35Speaker 2: John, I love it.
- 29:36Speaker 4: Megan, Broggie, have a great day you Bud.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Lewis Turner from First Coast News confirming. He says, it's real,
- 29:43Speaker 2: confirming my trick hip that this is it for the thirties.
- 29:46Speaker 5: That was really cool. But I just want Punkstany John
- 29:49Speaker 5: to know I never doubted you want never, and I want.
