- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Jadge ninety four nine.
- 0:04Speaker 2: These conversations need to keep happening here, and so, first off,
- 0:07Speaker 2: I want to say thank you. If you've been listening
- 0:09Speaker 2: to all the other previous podcasts, we're going to catch
- 0:11Speaker 2: you up. If this is your first one, well there's
- 0:13Speaker 2: a lot to talk about.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Scott wants to say thank you. I want to apologize
- 0:17Speaker 1: for what I having to listen to us.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Wait a second, Okay, so it's Scotty and Abbey.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Why do you want to apologize being satirical? Scott?
- 0:25Speaker 2: But they get to see a different side of maybe
- 0:28Speaker 2: myself if they don't know me. But also maybe they're
- 0:31Speaker 2: learning new things about you and your new adventure over
- 0:33Speaker 2: here to Tampa, if they followed you since you've been
- 0:35Speaker 2: in Atlanta. And maybe Jack's maybe it's family stuff. Maybe
- 0:39Speaker 2: it's people that have been in your life that you
- 0:40Speaker 2: don't even know have been in your life. Yeah, Like,
- 0:42Speaker 2: weren't you just saying that there's been people since you've
- 0:44Speaker 2: moved here that have hit you up that you haven't
- 0:47Speaker 2: seen in over a decade.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I haven't seen some of these people in twenty years.
- 0:50Speaker 1: And they're like, we should catch up I'm like on
- 0:52Speaker 1: middle school question mark.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Well, do you think that they're listening to something like this?
- 0:57Speaker 2: Do you think when they you post it up on
- 0:58Speaker 2: your Instagram that they're like, oh ooh, let me take
- 1:01Speaker 2: a look and see what Abby's been up to.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Maybe, And that's really sweet. I don't mean to make
- 1:05Speaker 1: a snarky comment about that, but it is just random
- 1:08Speaker 1: because I moved to Tampa thinking, Okay, nobody's really got
- 1:10Speaker 1: to care that a movie to Tampa, and then I
- 1:12Speaker 1: have all these people being like, hey, hey, I'm in Tampa.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Hey I'm in Tampa, and all of a sudden, I'm like,
- 1:17Speaker 1: whoa people.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I think it's because as adults we realize how lonely
- 1:22Speaker 2: it really could be.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and also I think we're more comfortable putting ourselves
- 1:25Speaker 1: out there. So but it is just funny. It's like
- 1:27Speaker 1: people you went to high school with or whatever that
- 1:29Speaker 1: you never spoke to in high school are all of
- 1:31Speaker 1: a sudden like hey.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's you know what's so fascinating is it's
- 1:35Speaker 2: not talked about when you're growing up, but like the
- 1:37Speaker 2: chapters of Friends, where you have to really be like, look,
- 1:40Speaker 2: we were close at one point and I love that chapter,
- 1:44Speaker 2: but it does not mean we need to continue being
- 1:47Speaker 2: friends just because we've known each other. Yeah, and closing
- 1:50Speaker 2: those pages is very hard and it's very awkward, especially
- 1:53Speaker 2: like if you want it but they don't want it,
- 1:55Speaker 2: because I have a lot of people I went to
- 1:57Speaker 2: high school with now that live in the area. But
- 1:58Speaker 2: again it's the same thing. We haven't seeing each other
- 2:00Speaker 2: in over a decade. God dang, that makes me feel old.
- 2:04Speaker 2: But I'm like, there's no need. You have your own
- 2:06Speaker 2: life going. If I ever see you out and about,
- 2:09Speaker 2: I will give you the most warm embrace. I'll do
- 2:12Speaker 2: that little catch up thing. And I don't really like
- 2:14Speaker 2: to do. I don't like to try to compress ten
- 2:15Speaker 2: years into like one minute conversation. Yea, So it's kind
- 2:19Speaker 2: of annoying with someone's like, how have you been.
- 2:21Speaker 1: When over ten years since graduation?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Yeah, like what have you been up to a lot?
- 2:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm an adult now, I pay taxes.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I'm noticing actually now, and I
- 2:32Speaker 2: don't know whatever. It's fine now when I get together
- 2:35Speaker 2: with somebody like it'll be exciting. I'll be like, let's
- 2:37Speaker 2: catch up, and there feels I'm curious if you've been
- 2:40Speaker 2: in this where there's like a catch. There's always a
- 2:42Speaker 2: catch right now. Like I've gone and hung out with
- 2:44Speaker 2: people and I'm like, oh, this is so great, and
- 2:46Speaker 2: then they're like, oh, and by the way, since we're here,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I work for this financial company and I can help
- 2:53Speaker 2: get your finances in order. Or I work for this
- 2:57Speaker 2: marketing company and I would love if you know, we
- 2:59Speaker 2: couldner together. And I'm like, you, mother, you just used me.
- 3:04Speaker 2: You used our connection from the past as a let's
- 3:06Speaker 2: catch up to turn into a business opportunity. Yeah, do
- 3:10Speaker 2: you get that? Do you have friends that have done
- 3:11Speaker 2: that to you? No?
- 3:12Speaker 1: I think it looks different for women, and I think
- 3:15Speaker 1: it looks different for women in the influencing space. I
- 3:19Speaker 1: don't particularly call myself an influencer. I think I work
- 3:21Speaker 1: in media.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Or you got twenty six point six thousand followers on
- 3:25Speaker 2: Instagram alone.
- 3:27Speaker 1: That's because of the radio.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Wait a second, wait, wait, wait, and then we go
- 3:29Speaker 2: to TikTok. You got over a hundred thousand on TikTok.
- 3:33Speaker 2: I'm not an influencer. I just got a lot of
- 3:35Speaker 2: damn followers.
- 3:36Speaker 1: When influencing starts paying my bills, I will consider myself
- 3:39Speaker 1: an influencer.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Which technically it could, right, I mean, you have you
- 3:43Speaker 2: gotten partnerships on the ground this is what you know what.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I'm not gonna let it infuriate me. I'm gonna let
- 3:50Speaker 2: it make me curious. How do people that have far
- 3:53Speaker 2: less followers make a balling living on Instagram whereas like
- 4:00Speaker 2: you are not profiting from your Instagram.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I don't know, but I don't think I'm the outlier.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think social media is as
- 4:08Speaker 1: profitable as people think it is unless you're one of
- 4:10Speaker 1: the big ones, do you know what I mean? So,
- 4:13Speaker 1: I've definitely gotten a handful of profitable partnerships, but it's
- 4:17Speaker 1: a once a year type deal, and it'll be profitable
- 4:21Speaker 1: in the sense that it's like, oh, Rent was covered.
- 4:22Speaker 1: That's nice, and that's it.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Are you hoping that somebody will pick us up here
- 4:26Speaker 2: for like our sweet Treat Friday of like, oh, we'll
- 4:29Speaker 2: pay you to come on out here and do a feature.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I don't even need them to pay us, just give
- 4:32Speaker 1: us free dessert.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Gosh. I mean that would be nice too.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I mean, like mistakes and my standards are low.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Well, dang, I mean we should actually charge's getting a
- 4:40Speaker 2: lot of eyeballs on it, but I understand. I don't
- 4:42Speaker 2: think we need to charge immediately, but I do like
- 4:46Speaker 2: the idea of eventually pitching that and saying hey, because
- 4:50Speaker 2: that's what influence are doing. Like right, Yeah, we got
- 4:52Speaker 2: to talk to Alexia because I want to see how
- 4:53Speaker 2: she has set it up, because she is somebody that
- 4:56Speaker 2: makes a living on social media, has done it for years.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Is it just the ask? Is it just we're not
- 5:02Speaker 2: asking enough?
- 5:03Speaker 1: No? Because I've done asks before to brands where I'm like, hey,
- 5:05Speaker 1: would you like to work together?
- 5:06Speaker 2: And as I know, yeah, or I.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Mean it's not it's not as if our sales team
- 5:12Speaker 1: here or at any other radio station doesn't know we
- 5:14Speaker 1: have a big following. Just no one's selling it. And
- 5:17Speaker 1: I've pitched myselves to agents or to managers and have
- 5:21Speaker 1: really gotten nothing back.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Honestly, that's wild. I know because that's what I look
- 5:26Speaker 2: at and I see otherre's other tons obviously in any
- 5:29Speaker 2: big city, but like in the Tampa Bay area, I mean,
- 5:31Speaker 2: it's like there's people that just absolutely crush. All they
- 5:35Speaker 2: do is just go out to different restaurants, they eat
- 5:37Speaker 2: all the good food, and they're making bank and I'm like,
- 5:40Speaker 2: I could eat and I could.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Post I've seen you eat, you can do that, I
- 5:43Speaker 1: could put it down. That's why I think what Aluxi
- 5:45Speaker 1: does is so impressive, because she I told her when
- 5:47Speaker 1: I lived in Atlanta and I was on the biggest
- 5:50Speaker 1: show in Atlanta, I really didn't get a lot of
- 5:52Speaker 1: stuff for free, and if I did, it was because
- 5:54Speaker 1: somebody else had an endorsement with the radio station. Like
- 5:57Speaker 1: I think one of the things I've gotten for free
- 5:58Speaker 1: is laser hair, but it was because somebody had an
- 6:01Speaker 1: endorsement and they were just treating the rest of the cast.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Whereas everybody gets a laser No, you get a zabs app.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I get a zaps app.
- 6:07Speaker 1: That sounds nice, these zipediz app me. So Alexi is like, yeah,
- 6:11Speaker 1: I got this for free and this for free and
- 6:12Speaker 1: all I have to do is post. I'm like, wow,
- 6:14Speaker 1: the fuck is no one new to see my platform?
- 6:16Speaker 1: Like horror out my Instagram. I will gladly post on
- 6:19Speaker 1: your behalf, even if it's just an exchange of free
- 6:22Speaker 1: stuff like I've emailed hotels. I mean I've done I've
- 6:26Speaker 1: really done it all, and no one seems to be
- 6:28Speaker 1: really interested.
- 6:29Speaker 2: You need a PR team.
- 6:30Speaker 1: No, I think it's a sales team. You have to
- 6:32Speaker 1: find people who know how to sell your Instagram Mmmm.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Do they have that for Instagram? Probably take the big
- 6:37Speaker 2: ones are Yeah, And.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I've pitched myself. I said, hey, I have twenty six
- 6:40Speaker 1: thousand followers, why don't you sell me? And I never
- 6:43Speaker 1: hear back.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Because I think the difference too now and luckily this
- 6:45Speaker 2: has looked at it like it's not so much about
- 6:47Speaker 2: the followers, but how engaging are your followers? And honestly,
- 6:51Speaker 2: the people you have on Instagram are awesome.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 6:54Speaker 2: So they're so ready to lock in on anything you do.
- 6:57Speaker 1: No, it's it's insane, And honestly, it's the power of
- 6:59Speaker 1: who I used to work for. I mean, that show
- 7:01Speaker 1: had such a cult following that I truly am just
- 7:04Speaker 1: riding the wave of what's left of that. So I'm
- 7:08Speaker 1: really grateful for them and the community that we had
- 7:10Speaker 1: up in Atlanta.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Yeah. And if you're somebody that's on that Instagram, like,
- 7:13Speaker 2: I see you, I see you up in the comments,
- 7:14Speaker 2: I see how you post on all the different reels
- 7:17Speaker 2: and things that we're doing now, and again, that's a
- 7:21Speaker 2: thank you moment because that is what you then take
- 7:23Speaker 2: eventually to the bosses here and you're like, y'all, this
- 7:27Speaker 2: is ebundence that we're doing something good. That obviously something matters,
- 7:31Speaker 2: So fill and bank for what you want.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Let me let me do the job I was hired
- 7:39Speaker 1: to do. Well.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's gonna be the bigger conversation as it
- 7:42Speaker 2: continues to unfold. And I think that's what it's going
- 7:45Speaker 2: to slowly turn into, because this station was never like that.
- 7:48Speaker 2: The most actually it's crazy is the more that you're
- 7:51Speaker 2: seeing of just like the smaller benchmarks, these tiny bits
- 7:54Speaker 2: of talk time like that has grown tremendously from when
- 7:58Speaker 2: I first was like I was an abby chair just
- 8:00Speaker 2: a couple of years ago, where it's like they brought
- 8:02Speaker 2: me in, They're like, all right, we'll let you talk eventually,
- 8:05Speaker 2: and I was like, okay, I guess I was like,
- 8:08Speaker 2: I'll hang out for a while, and then things just
- 8:11Speaker 2: happened to work in my favor, so I actually got
- 8:14Speaker 2: to just do the whole thing. But from where it
- 8:17Speaker 2: was to what it's now is crazy. But I also
- 8:20Speaker 2: understand from you coming from a massive show that was
- 8:23Speaker 2: just yip and yappitty the whole time, and then this,
- 8:25Speaker 2: you're like, holy bleep, this is not exactly what I
- 8:31Speaker 2: was expecting. So the shock is actually understandable, and it's
- 8:34Speaker 2: also understandable from all the comments that I see, all
- 8:37Speaker 2: the messages that I see. I understand you. I give
- 8:39Speaker 2: you grace. No, I know, I want you know, the
- 8:42Speaker 2: higher powers to see it too, which is again another
- 8:44Speaker 2: reason why, you know, when we put up those videos,
- 8:46Speaker 2: thank you for the comments, when we put up the podcast,
- 8:48Speaker 2: thank you for the listens, because that's like, okay, hey,
- 8:50Speaker 2: by the way, here's all the numbers, and uh, you
- 8:54Speaker 2: won't do what you want with that, but we have
- 8:56Speaker 2: a good idea, so I think it's better to listen.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Seriously, if you press play on this podcast, you're helping. Absolutely,
- 9:02Speaker 1: you are helping. I mean, have have your neighbors, have
- 9:05Speaker 1: your coworkers repost it on your story, post play. Genuinely,
- 9:10Speaker 1: the numbers on these on these podcasts are really really encouraging,
- 9:13Speaker 1: So I really appreciate you being here.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Yeah, And also it's there so you could see even
- 9:17Speaker 2: more because even when we start talking more on the air,
- 9:19Speaker 2: there's gonna be things that we're not allowed to talk
- 9:21Speaker 2: about that we talk about here, which I like so
- 9:23Speaker 2: so far. I do want to say it because I
- 9:24Speaker 2: saw your post recently about the things that you really
- 9:27Speaker 2: like in Tampa so far the.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Things I like about Tampa. And then my first impressions
- 9:31Speaker 1: is someone who just moved here, even though I visit
- 9:33Speaker 1: here a lot.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Okay, so let's what are the first impressions so far,
- 9:37Speaker 2: because it's been three weeks. Yes, so far, what do
- 9:40Speaker 2: you have?
- 9:40Speaker 1: My first impressions is that Tampa is very fitness forward,
- 9:46Speaker 1: very health conscious. Everything. Nobody's wearing clothes here. Nobody is
- 9:50Speaker 1: wearing clothes in Tampa.
- 9:51Speaker 2: That's the man. That's the beautiful thing about living in Florida.
- 9:54Speaker 2: It's sunny, you could get tan. It's already warm, and
- 9:57Speaker 2: we're in the middle of February. Like love that, And
- 10:00Speaker 2: that's why I don't ever. I maybe we'll live somewhere
- 10:02Speaker 2: else in like maybe a part of the year. I
- 10:04Speaker 2: could see myself being a snowbird. I can't wait too
- 10:07Speaker 2: but like a house always in Florida for this reason.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Right now, this weather, Oh my god, I'm glad you
- 10:11Speaker 2: appreciate that it's air conditioned weather.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'm from Florida, so I didn't think much
- 10:16Speaker 1: of moving to Tampa because Florida is not exactly something
- 10:19Speaker 1: new for me. But walking around and seeing Bayshore and
- 10:22Speaker 1: going down to the Edge district in Saint Pete, that.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Has to be different because you were in Jacksonville.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Hey, yeah, and Jackson's really more. Jackson is sort of
- 10:28Speaker 1: this weird no man's land where it's South Georgia ish,
- 10:32Speaker 1: but it's still very Florida. You mean, like, I don't
- 10:34Speaker 1: talk like somebody like they're from South Georgia. Have you
- 10:37Speaker 1: hear anybody in VII, Dahlia or Valdosta? They all sound real.
- 10:42Speaker 2: So there's North Florida. I got a lot of family from.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Up there, but I'm from I grew up in North Florida,
- 10:47Speaker 1: and I feel like I have a very non regional addiction.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Where do yeah, Like, does anybody in your family have
- 10:52Speaker 2: a Southern accident?
- 10:53Speaker 1: No, nobody. Everybody in Florida talks about exactly like I do.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I'm almost offended.
- 10:57Speaker 1: No, I know we're not very Southern. We're just kind
- 10:59Speaker 1: of suburban Americans.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Even I have like you haven't seen it yet because
- 11:05Speaker 2: I haven't gotten turned up with you. Actually, I don't
- 11:08Speaker 2: even even if I've ever had a drink. Next to you.
- 11:09Speaker 1: You're not about to tell me that you have an
- 11:11Speaker 1: accent I do?
- 11:13Speaker 2: If I get yes, I do, I have, like a
- 11:15Speaker 2: southern accent comes out when, especially if I have a
- 11:18Speaker 2: couple of drinks, because all of a sudden, I'm just
- 11:20Speaker 2: loose and my mouth just gets a little slow, and
- 11:22Speaker 2: all of a sudden things will come out. I know,
- 11:25Speaker 2: it's all right, alright, alright, but I have family. All
- 11:29Speaker 2: my family roots to southern So it's like I have
- 11:31Speaker 2: family that's up in Alabama and up in the Panhandle,
- 11:34Speaker 2: and then my other family's out in like the rural
- 11:35Speaker 2: part of North Carolina. So if I hang out with
- 11:37Speaker 2: them too long, all of a sudden I come back
- 11:39Speaker 2: and I'm like, especially, give me two glasses of wine.
- 11:45Speaker 2: All of a sudden, I'm just I'm chilling.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I know, I can't wait to see you a little
- 11:49Speaker 1: espresso martini drunk at boulan Ah.
- 11:51Speaker 2: That will be something.
- 11:52Speaker 1: If you guys have been keeping up. Scotty is going
- 11:54Speaker 1: to take me to run Club, and I'm gonna take
- 11:56Speaker 1: him to Bulan.
- 11:57Speaker 2: We're gonna do the idea. And this is what I
- 11:59Speaker 2: was telling on a date. Last name, and this is Ilse.
- 12:01Speaker 2: You know, I want to branch out from my norm
- 12:05Speaker 2: and so typically my week would be the show working
- 12:10Speaker 2: out the grocery store and that's pretty much it. But
- 12:13Speaker 2: this time I'm like, no, we're saying yes to life.
- 12:16Speaker 2: We're gonna go to check out new bars. We're gonna
- 12:18Speaker 2: go check out a new run club. We're gonna go
- 12:19Speaker 2: and check out the Drum Circle on Treasure Island. We're
- 12:21Speaker 2: gonna go to the Cold Tub DJ set on a
- 12:24Speaker 2: Sunday morning at one of these coffee shops. Just all
- 12:27Speaker 2: these weird things that you see on Instagram that you're like,
- 12:30Speaker 2: you know what, I'm gonna give it a shot. I
- 12:32Speaker 2: just want to see because I find that life gets
- 12:34Speaker 2: so interesting when you're just like, let me just see
- 12:38Speaker 2: what happens. And I think that's what's gonna happen at Boulon,
- 12:41Speaker 2: and I think that's what's gonna happen at run Club.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I think you're gonna thrive at Bulon bool On if
- 12:45Speaker 1: you again are your tunning and you're like, I don't
- 12:47Speaker 1: even know what is this Bulon that keep talking about.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Bulan is a very facy French restaurant in downtown Tampa.
- 12:52Speaker 1: It's known as Influencer Central. If you say you like
- 12:55Speaker 1: Bulan's kind of like, oh, you're not real, Tampa, You're
- 12:58Speaker 1: just a transplant.
- 12:59Speaker 2: H Yeah, that's one of those places.
- 13:00Speaker 1: But you love to gab, and I feel like Bulon
- 13:03Speaker 1: is the place where you gab.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I like gabbing, but I also sometimes have a problem
- 13:07Speaker 2: with like two surface level of gabbing and I could
- 13:10Speaker 2: do it really well where it's like, oh my gosh,
- 13:12Speaker 2: let's talk about what you do for work and where
- 13:14Speaker 2: you grew up and what. But I love an opportunity
- 13:18Speaker 2: to sit down and go deep, like literally, even yesterday,
- 13:21Speaker 2: the person I was having a drink with I was
- 13:25Speaker 2: talking and I was like, you know what, I can
- 13:26Speaker 2: we just have a real conversation, like let's just let's
- 13:28Speaker 2: talk deep for a second, Like let me just take
- 13:30Speaker 2: it to the next level.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Say.
- 13:32Speaker 2: She's like, whoa, that was a deep question. But then
- 13:36Speaker 2: she said I like deep questions and so she kept
- 13:41Speaker 2: it at that. It was a good night. But that's
- 13:44Speaker 2: the only fear of what it would be like to
- 13:46Speaker 2: go to one of these bars, like is it loud?
- 13:48Speaker 2: Is their music it's.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Loud and it's very boisterous. I mean, you're gonna make
- 13:52Speaker 1: a lot of small talk. But I think conversation is
- 13:55Speaker 1: good to be as deep as you want them to be.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Because I've gone a lot of great networking events, but
- 13:58Speaker 2: like usually they don't turn into anything. They're kind of
- 14:02Speaker 2: just there, a nice conversation, maybe an Instagram follow, but
- 14:05Speaker 2: I've gotten a lot better of that. Like I like,
- 14:06Speaker 2: when I go out, at least, I'm gonna make sure
- 14:08Speaker 2: that we connect somewhere online where we could benefit each other,
- 14:11Speaker 2: where I could comment on your stuff, you could comment
- 14:13Speaker 2: on mine, we can feed each other's businesses together. Hopefully
- 14:16Speaker 2: they're like that at Bulan. I don't know.
- 14:18Speaker 1: We're gonna find out together.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Scotty, Okay, I'm in. What are the other impressions though?
- 14:22Speaker 2: Of Tampa? So you love that? It's obviously beautiful.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Let me pull up my list. So yeah, it's really beautiful.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I have been taking my nightly walks on Bay Shore.
- 14:30Speaker 1: People know I love a nightly walk. I used to
- 14:32Speaker 1: do it at Chastein Park in Atlanta all the time.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Chastein Park is maybe not the equivalent to Bay Shor,
- 14:38Speaker 1: but it's very Bay Shore adjacent. It's a little bit
- 14:40Speaker 1: more suburban, a little bit more of a mom and
- 14:42Speaker 1: girly pop vibe, whereas maybe the Beltline is more of
- 14:45Speaker 1: the Bay Shore equivalent for Tampa and Atlanta. But yeah,
- 14:49Speaker 1: I love I love a promenade.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Oh and there's so much one if you love to
- 14:53Speaker 2: people watch. There's a ton of people out on this
- 14:57Speaker 2: beautiful walkway. And I don't know how far you walk,
- 14:59Speaker 2: but that goes a long way.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I've been walking a long time. Oh good, you get
- 15:02Speaker 1: no steps in I'm on Davis Island, so I have
- 15:04Speaker 1: to leave Davis Islands, go over the bridge and then
- 15:06Speaker 1: walk on Bay Shore.
- 15:07Speaker 2: How far do you walk? How what are your steps?
- 15:09Speaker 2: Do you have an average step count to day?
- 15:10Speaker 1: Well, let's see what I did. So I did maybe
- 15:12Speaker 1: an hour and a half yesterday.
- 15:14Speaker 2: That's pretty damn good.
- 15:15Speaker 1: And let's see how many steps I took. So I
- 15:20Speaker 1: took yesterday fourteen thousand steps. That's not even that much.
- 15:26Speaker 2: That's pretty dang good though.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I took fourteen thousand steps. And it was really
- 15:30Speaker 1: beautiful out and then it got kind of stormy looking,
- 15:33Speaker 1: so I ran back home. Okay, So my other first
- 15:37Speaker 1: impressions based off the TikTok that I posted, So men
- 15:39Speaker 1: own shirts here. It's a lot of naked people watch.
- 15:41Speaker 2: But do you like that? Duh? Okay, Well, I'm just
- 15:44Speaker 2: checking because sometimes it could be too much. But if
- 15:46Speaker 2: you're like, you know, especially when I go out with
- 15:48Speaker 2: my friends that they love themselves, the men's my gay friends.
- 15:52Speaker 2: When I go out running with them and they're like,
- 15:54Speaker 2: they call it a treat. It's their treat for doing
- 15:56Speaker 2: like exercise.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It is a treat. I will say. It does. It
- 15:59Speaker 1: does make go don't walk a little bit more bearable.
- 16:01Speaker 1: As the great philosopher Mary Poppins One said, a spoonful
- 16:05Speaker 1: of sugar helps the medicine go down.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Oh my god, So these men are doing the lord's
- 16:09Speaker 2: work out here for your walks.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I think you for my medicine.
- 16:12Speaker 2: There it is.
- 16:12Speaker 1: It's telling me forget that I'm in Tampa. Well, I'm
- 16:15Speaker 1: telling you there's.
- 16:16Speaker 2: A lot of good looking dudes over here.
- 16:17Speaker 1: But I will say a lot of them wear My
- 16:19Speaker 1: second thing was that they wear flat bill hats.
- 16:21Speaker 2: You know, like that that's like a running hat.
- 16:23Speaker 1: It's a very specific South Florida esque style. I think
- 16:27Speaker 1: that's what it reminds me of. When I see a
- 16:28Speaker 1: guy wearing a flat bill hat, it feels very New York,
- 16:32Speaker 1: very oh.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Because there's two different styles.
- 16:36Speaker 1: It feels douchey to me.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Is it like the flat bill like a runner's cap,
- 16:39Speaker 2: or is it like like a New York Yankees flat bill.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I'm out at shortstop flat.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Bill, so not not a traditional baseball cap.
- 16:47Speaker 2: That's it's such a Tampa.
- 16:49Speaker 1: It just feels very douchey to me. I'm not saying
- 16:51Speaker 1: all guys who wear flatbell hats are douchey.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I'm just saying I feel, Okay, it gives douche No,
- 16:56Speaker 2: it does, because I literally feel like that if I
- 16:58Speaker 2: wear a hat, I have this thing where I feel
- 17:00Speaker 2: like I have an alter ego that could become.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Like a douche You become Tampa Terrence.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Oh what a sentence.
- 17:07Speaker 1: But if like I have Scotti literally Scott, but I
- 17:11Speaker 1: could look.
- 17:12Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm curious of your first impression of
- 17:14Speaker 2: me looking at me. Now you've kind of started to
- 17:17Speaker 2: get an idea of me.
- 17:18Speaker 1: You're more Saint Pete than you are Tampa.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Very much so. But if I put a hat on backwards,
- 17:23Speaker 2: I become If you didn't hear me talk or you
- 17:25Speaker 2: didn't see my personality, I look like the DOUCHEI ist dude.
- 17:29Speaker 2: And that's why I don't do it, because I'm like, Okay,
- 17:30Speaker 2: that gives off the wrong impression.
- 17:32Speaker 1: It gives douche, and I think that's my overall.
- 17:34Speaker 2: It's giving douche's.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Shiving douche and not in a fun way. And I
- 17:38Speaker 1: think that's why when I see them, I see a
- 17:41Speaker 1: lot of Tampa guys that I've had really bad experiences
- 17:43Speaker 1: with that they're all the flat bill hat, plane T shirt,
- 17:47Speaker 1: gold chain vibes that I'm.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Literally wearing that exactly right.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Now doesn't And you live in Saint Pete, so it
- 17:54Speaker 1: doesn't add up.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Yeah, And I don't wear the flat bill, but I
- 17:56Speaker 2: do understand there's a lot of guys that do it.
- 17:58Speaker 2: And I go to do it, and I'm like, I
- 18:00Speaker 2: don't like the way I look right now. I look
- 18:01Speaker 2: very douchey.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Let me change back into my Saint Pete uniform. Yeah, Like,
- 18:04Speaker 1: let me put it on the Saint Pete uniform.
- 18:06Speaker 2: It would be more of a like a flowy shirt,
- 18:09Speaker 2: probably like I don't usually do a size extra, like
- 18:12Speaker 2: bigger than I am, but probably a little bigger. And
- 18:15Speaker 2: then you know, some relaxing pants. It's very chill. It's
- 18:19Speaker 2: kind of like hippie beach.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Hippy beach.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I mean, but you could still have your
- 18:25Speaker 2: nice night out, Like if you go out on Central
- 18:27Speaker 2: on a Friday night, like there's a blend of like
- 18:28Speaker 2: people that are just casually that's me T shirt and pants,
- 18:32Speaker 2: or they'll be you know, women dress it up and
- 18:34Speaker 2: you're like, okay, y'all came out dressed too impressed. Yeah,
- 18:38Speaker 2: you're ready to hit the club. And we only got
- 18:40Speaker 2: a couple in Saint Pete, so we know when you're
- 18:42Speaker 2: going to.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Okay, So my next thing, big fitness culture. I already
- 18:45Speaker 1: kind of went over that. Easier to navigate Tampa. I
- 18:49Speaker 1: never have to use my GPS. I know exactly where
- 18:51Speaker 1: I'm going all the time.
- 18:51Speaker 2: That's pretty impressive, even with all the new spots that
- 18:53Speaker 2: you've already had it like routed out, Like even well,
- 18:56Speaker 2: Tampa's different. Have you figured out Saint Pete yet?
- 18:58Speaker 1: I I feel like it's even easier because it's just
- 19:02Speaker 1: Fourth Street, Central Street, Gandy Selman and then the other
- 19:05Speaker 1: one that's exactly right, Okay, big gas bridge. I saw
- 19:08Speaker 1: a big bridge Franklin. Yeah, yeah, Howard Franklin, Yeah yeah,
- 19:11Speaker 1: those ones. What about so Tampa. You could drive around
- 19:13Speaker 1: anyway too. You haven't gone into like deep Tampa though,
- 19:16Speaker 1: You've just you've done downtown Tampa. But have you done like, well, yeah,
- 19:19Speaker 1: I'm talking about Tampa proper. Whereas when I think of
- 19:21Speaker 1: anything outside of Tampa proper, I would call that Wesley Chapel,
- 19:25Speaker 1: Plant City, Lithia, Brandon, Bradington, all of those, Like That's
- 19:29Speaker 1: how I would identify them to me. That's not Tampa.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Have you been to like the USF campus.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I have not been to the USF campus.
- 19:35Speaker 2: You got to check out the USF campus. Have you
- 19:36Speaker 2: walked through the UT campus.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I have walked. That's where my brother proposed to his girlfriend.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Oh well then that makes a lot of sense. But
- 19:43Speaker 2: the USF campus is something to see, especially because now
- 19:45Speaker 2: you're here, you might as well take a look. But
- 19:47Speaker 2: then you're like, oh, this is not you li, I
- 19:49Speaker 2: know how you all Gators are where it's like everything's
- 19:51Speaker 2: just not as good as you. I get it. You
- 19:54Speaker 2: know what some of us think get in?
- 19:57Speaker 1: Okay, a lot of people didn't get in. What do
- 20:01Speaker 1: you think?
- 20:01Speaker 2: Okay, this is a tangent, but what do you think
- 20:04Speaker 2: was how? I don't know how you were in high school.
- 20:07Speaker 2: But what do you think got you in the UF,
- 20:08Speaker 2: because that was very hard to get in.
- 20:10Speaker 1: It was, but it got even harder, and I think
- 20:12Speaker 1: FSU got harder to get in because when I when
- 20:14Speaker 1: we were applying for school, it was everybody who was
- 20:18Speaker 1: academically inclined wanted to go to Florida.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and I was really good academically, I.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Know, but you had to do a lot of random shit,
- 20:25Speaker 1: and I did a lot of random shit. I was
- 20:28Speaker 1: the midst of my high school. So I won that
- 20:30Speaker 1: whole pageant I told you about. I started a club.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I was the co captain of my cheerleading team. For club?
- 20:36Speaker 2: Did you start?
- 20:36Speaker 1: I started some I was gonna be like a missions club.
- 20:39Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 20:40Speaker 2: It was not, well you go do missions.
- 20:42Speaker 1: It was gonna be go make a difference, and we
- 20:43Speaker 1: were gonna like do shit, and then we never did anything.
- 20:45Speaker 2: So wait a second. So you got accepted in the
- 20:47Speaker 2: UF for a club that you founded that you didn't
- 20:49Speaker 2: do anything with that club?
- 20:50Speaker 1: Well, no, I like held meetings and stuff, but I
- 20:52Speaker 1: wasn't very good at it.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Now it actually is. I mean that's what they're looking
- 20:55Speaker 2: for though, that you took the initiative to at least try. Yeah,
- 20:58Speaker 2: and no matter what happens, it's like, oh, that person
- 21:00Speaker 2: is a go getter, Yes, we want them at our campus.
- 21:02Speaker 1: I was editor of my yearbook, like I did everything. Okay,
- 21:06Speaker 1: I was an anchor for TV production. I did. I
- 21:09Speaker 1: did everything.
- 21:10Speaker 2: What was your GPA?
- 21:11Speaker 1: Four point three?
- 21:12Speaker 2: Geez Louise? Okay, all right, it makes sense.
- 21:15Speaker 1: But I also had no life, Like I was also
- 21:17Speaker 1: a miserable person in high school.
- 21:18Speaker 2: But then that's what made you thrive in college.
- 21:20Speaker 1: To be fair, I knew that I needed to sacrifice
- 21:23Speaker 1: high school in order to enjoy college more.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Was it always UF? Was that always the vision?
- 21:28Speaker 1: No? So my freshman year I didn't even want to
- 21:30Speaker 1: go to UF. Freshman year of high school, I was like,
- 21:32Speaker 1: I do I don't want to go to UF. And
- 21:33Speaker 1: I think it was a little bit because that's where
- 21:35Speaker 1: my whole family went and my family and when I
- 21:38Speaker 1: say my family, I mean my own. It was sort
- 21:41Speaker 1: of like you go to UF, or that's it, Like
- 21:42Speaker 1: that's what I was raised, Like that's why I was raised,
- 21:45Speaker 1: Like that's where you're going to school. Yeah, And I
- 21:47Speaker 1: think that really bothered me to the sense where I'm
- 21:48Speaker 1: like it feels like I've lost my sense of autonomy,
- 21:51Speaker 1: my sense of choice to where if I want to
- 21:53Speaker 1: be a C student and go to Auburn, I think
- 21:56Speaker 1: I should be able to make that choice. Like that's
- 21:58Speaker 1: what really bothered me. I'm like, I don't want to
- 22:00Speaker 1: just go to the school because that's where I was
- 22:02Speaker 1: told to go or the family went. And then my
- 22:05Speaker 1: sophomore year summer, I don't know what happened, and weirdly
- 22:10Speaker 1: I attribute it to this life changing week and it
- 22:15Speaker 1: sounds so dumb. So she's like, what did you do?
- 22:19Speaker 1: So there were two weeks my my sophomore year of
- 22:22Speaker 1: high school. It was freshman year going into sophomore year,
- 22:26Speaker 1: and it was one of those summers where your brain
- 22:30Speaker 1: just developed sort overnight. You ever have those moments where
- 22:32Speaker 1: you wake up and you're like, I see the world a.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Little yeahs are a little clear. Okay.
- 22:36Speaker 1: So I went on this missions trip with my church
- 22:38Speaker 1: and I remember thinking this is going to be the
- 22:40Speaker 1: trip that changes my life, and I'm going to make
- 22:43Speaker 1: a difference and it's going to really just totally send
- 22:45Speaker 1: me on a different path. Long story short, didn't just
- 22:48Speaker 1: too just took a lot of photos with starving kids,
- 22:53Speaker 1: just you know, just the the white Savior missionary complex.
- 22:57Speaker 1: That's what it was. Some good stuff. I'm not saying
- 22:59Speaker 1: we didn't do good work. Course, So anyway, I did that.
- 23:03Speaker 1: And then the next week my family went on this
- 23:05Speaker 1: week long cruise. And it was on this week long
- 23:08Speaker 1: cruise that I made all these incredible friends. I had
- 23:11Speaker 1: a little cruise romance. I had a cruise boyfriend, a
- 23:17Speaker 1: cruise cruise boyfriend. What was their name, Liam. I was
- 23:22Speaker 1: from Atlanta. He was a rich, private school kid, perfect,
- 23:25Speaker 1: and it just it. I just feel like it gave
- 23:28Speaker 1: me self confidence because I had such low self esteem.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I wasn't a good student, I didn't feel like I
- 23:33Speaker 1: was well liked all the things. And then I went
- 23:36Speaker 1: on this cruise and I was the popular girl, and
- 23:38Speaker 1: for some reason, it just made me. It gave me
- 23:41Speaker 1: enough self confidence to think, oh, I could go back
- 23:44Speaker 1: to my high school with this same energy, and maybe
- 23:46Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be mispopular or whatever, but like, clearly
- 23:49Speaker 1: I have something that people think is worth worth getting
- 23:53Speaker 1: to know. And it just gave me enough chutzpah to
- 23:57Speaker 1: kind of get to kind of get my shit together.
- 23:59Speaker 1: And then it was that, and then I think my
- 24:02Speaker 1: first week of sophomore year, I got like one hundred
- 24:06Speaker 1: on a math test. I was always bad at math,
- 24:08Speaker 1: and because I got that one hundred, I thought maybe
- 24:10Speaker 1: I can be good at math. And then I went
- 24:13Speaker 1: from a C student to an A plus student.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, all because of that one trip.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Yeah, and I just decided I'm gonna go. It's just
- 24:20Speaker 1: something switched to my brain. I was like, I'm gonna
- 24:22Speaker 1: go to Florida.
- 24:23Speaker 2: That's a really I think what's cool is like, I
- 24:25Speaker 2: feel like you just started giving yourself credit where credit
- 24:28Speaker 2: was due.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Well, I just I just had very low self esteem,
- 24:31Speaker 1: which is a you know, that's a whole story for
- 24:34Speaker 1: a therapist or something. But I think it goes to
- 24:37Speaker 1: show that positive reinforcement is so much more productive than
- 24:43Speaker 1: telling yourself what's wrong with you or you know, pointing
- 24:46Speaker 1: out your flaws or being critical of yourself, which I
- 24:49Speaker 1: think can sometimes be like the go to way to
- 24:52Speaker 1: try and get somebody on the right path. But really
- 24:54Speaker 1: it was just showing myself that I could be something
- 24:57Speaker 1: other than what I was.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Dang. So there's no regrets for going to that campus,
- 25:01Speaker 2: to taking your college career to UF.
- 25:03Speaker 1: No, I mean, I don't know where I would have gone.
- 25:06Speaker 1: I think my only regret was I think no, because
- 25:08Speaker 1: I would have gone to Florida. No matter what, if
- 25:10Speaker 1: I had gotten into Florida, I was going into Florida.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Where else did you apply?
- 25:13Speaker 1: My backup was South Carolina, which would have been fine.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I probably would have really liked South Carolina. And I
- 25:20Speaker 1: don't know why I didn't apply to UGA. We were
- 25:22Speaker 1: such big Florida fans that I was just like, I'm
- 25:25Speaker 1: not applying to you.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, isn't that crazy? You grow up with this
- 25:28Speaker 2: rivalry in your mind that you're like I could never
- 25:30Speaker 2: Like I was applying for f SU, and I was like, no, no,
- 25:32Speaker 2: I'm not even gonna finish it. I didn't even do
- 25:35Speaker 2: the Like it was halfway through. I think I'm so
- 25:36Speaker 2: paid for it, but I only completed half of it.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I didnt apply to FSU.
- 25:39Speaker 2: So yeah, because it's the rivalry that we're born thinking
- 25:42Speaker 2: and then we're like, wait a second, that could be
- 25:44Speaker 2: my own experience. I could have my own path that's
- 25:47Speaker 2: actually carved in now at UF, Like what was like
- 25:50Speaker 2: for me? Was there a what was the most beneficial
- 25:53Speaker 2: thing that you did in college that you think either
- 25:57Speaker 2: launched you, protected you served you. Because when I think
- 26:01Speaker 2: of my collegiate experience, I did a bunch of things.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I mean I was in Greek and then I was
- 26:08Speaker 2: an orientation and I worked for the office and I
- 26:10Speaker 2: went for student Body. But my time as an orientation
- 26:14Speaker 2: leader that's why I'm here. Like that one moment ended
- 26:18Speaker 2: up turning into a couple of years. But me taking
- 26:21Speaker 2: that chance that was was like, wait a second, I
- 26:24Speaker 2: think I know what I'm gonna do with my life. Yeah,
- 26:26Speaker 2: it launched me. What was the thing for you?
- 26:28Speaker 1: Well, I think that's why going to Florida was so
- 26:29Speaker 1: important and why I didn't apply to FSU because FSU
- 26:33Speaker 1: didn't have a broadcast journalism program.
- 26:35Speaker 2: So gone done?
- 26:36Speaker 1: What you know what I mean, don't they have a circus?
- 26:38Speaker 1: I think, yeah, joined the circus.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Give bride an elephant juggle, I don't know. That's the
- 26:43Speaker 2: only thing I remember about that campus. I was like, yes,
- 26:45Speaker 2: I have a circus on campus. Okay, that's okay.
- 26:47Speaker 1: So it was so important to go to a school
- 26:48Speaker 1: that had a big journalism program, and uf did, which
- 26:51Speaker 1: is why I was like, well, I have to go
- 26:52Speaker 1: to Florida. Otherwise I'm going to spend three hundred thousand
- 26:55Speaker 1: dollars to go to South Carolina for a broadcast journalism program.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Oh so for.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Me, really, I guess it was just joining the radio
- 27:03Speaker 1: station because that's what kept me in the broadcast journalism
- 27:05Speaker 1: school and then the Innovation News Center, which was all
- 27:09Speaker 1: like the journalism stuff at Florida.
- 27:11Speaker 2: You were doing that right away, Like did you walk
- 27:13Speaker 2: in on campus and you go like right to the
- 27:14Speaker 2: radio station. No.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I was also kind of a school loser my first
- 27:18Speaker 1: year because I'd worked, because I'd worked so hard for
- 27:20Speaker 1: three years, so I was like, I'm so sick of this.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Yoh yeah.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I was like I want to have a social life.
- 27:25Speaker 2: All.
- 27:25Speaker 1: All I wanted to do my freshman year was be
- 27:27Speaker 1: a sorority girl. And that's pretty much what I did
- 27:29Speaker 1: was just pretend to go to class and then go to.
- 27:31Speaker 2: The house and then just go party on the weekends. Yeah.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it wasn't a fun year. Like that sounds like
- 27:36Speaker 1: a great time, twas not fun?
- 27:38Speaker 2: I was like it does. I mean I had some
- 27:39Speaker 2: great freshman year, especially like going out to parties, passing
- 27:42Speaker 2: on the lawns.
- 27:42Speaker 1: But I didn't even party. That's the funny thing. Like
- 27:44Speaker 1: I just wanted to be a sorority girl.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Oh you just wanted the letters.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I just wanted to be in a club.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Well it makes sense though if you're talking about
- 27:52Speaker 2: like I want to feel like that's why it's there. Yeah,
- 27:54Speaker 2: you want to have a group of friends. You want
- 27:56Speaker 2: to have a group, you want to be able to
- 27:57Speaker 2: feel like you fit in. Great place to do it
- 28:00Speaker 2: is go to Greek exactly. It's literally what you're paying
- 28:03Speaker 2: to do, be a part of a group. I did
- 28:05Speaker 2: it too, because I was like, oh, these guys are cool.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I like friends. It is nice to feel appreciated, and
- 28:11Speaker 2: so that's what we did. And then immediately after I
- 28:14Speaker 2: was like, well I should probably expand my horizons because
- 28:17Speaker 2: this is we're doing the same things every weekend guys. Yeah.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Well yeah, it's a couple of years of fun. And
- 28:24Speaker 2: then it's like, wait, you should probably get my shit together.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I should probably do something with my life. I should
- 28:28Speaker 2: probably start looking for a career because it took like
- 28:30Speaker 2: three years to even like I didn't know I wanted
- 28:32Speaker 2: to do radio until like three years, and I was like, oh,
- 28:36Speaker 2: that makes more sense.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I don't think anybody knows at our age that.
- 28:39Speaker 2: They want to do radio, well, definitely nobody supported it.
- 28:41Speaker 1: No, I didn't support it either, Like I don't know,
- 28:44Speaker 1: like what made you think that radio would be viable?
- 28:46Speaker 2: I just wanted to go. This is literally I do
- 28:48Speaker 2: this whole summitar called Dare to Dream, and it's because
- 28:50Speaker 2: of this moment. It's because it's the thing that lit
- 28:53Speaker 2: me up the most. So I didn't know what it
- 28:54Speaker 2: was going to turn into. But I do have this
- 28:56Speaker 2: belief that if you're as passionate for something as I
- 29:00Speaker 2: felt for that moment, that nothing could stop you, that
- 29:02Speaker 2: the sky is truly the limit, like you could go
- 29:05Speaker 2: as far as possible. So when I was going for radio,
- 29:07Speaker 2: it's like, literally, nothing feels as good as doing the show.
- 29:11Speaker 2: I was doing a show on campus with my best friend,
- 29:13Speaker 2: and I'd put more time into just editing audio and
- 29:16Speaker 2: bringing in interviews, talking to maybe one hundred people. Maybe
- 29:20Speaker 2: it was the biggest show on campus, so it's pretty good.
- 29:23Speaker 2: But I was like, nothing felt that good. So it
- 29:26Speaker 2: has to pay off someway. I don't know how, I
- 29:29Speaker 2: don't know where, I don't know when, But you can't
- 29:32Speaker 2: be this passionate and this driven to do something and
- 29:35Speaker 2: it not work in your favor, you will find a
- 29:38Speaker 2: route and maybe it doesn't look exactly like I thought.
- 29:41Speaker 2: But I think what I have had to come to
- 29:43Speaker 2: realize is it didn't need to be radio. It just
- 29:45Speaker 2: needed to be my voice. It needed to be a microphone,
- 29:48Speaker 2: it needed to be a stage, because that is what
- 29:50Speaker 2: I continued to chase. I got into radio, and as
- 29:52Speaker 2: I was doing it, everyone's like, Bro, you're gonna make
- 29:56Speaker 2: You're gonna make money on radio. I was like, yo,
- 29:58Speaker 2: just could you give me a second and let me
- 30:00Speaker 2: show you what's possible.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Let me cook.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Yeah, like give me his little site. And then it
- 30:04Speaker 2: started to happen, and then I was like, oh, he's
- 30:07Speaker 2: got a contract. I was like, I told you, Oh
- 30:10Speaker 2: he's now hosting, and I told you, And then it's
- 30:14Speaker 2: just so far that has only gotten me farther that
- 30:18Speaker 2: same passion. So nobody thought I was a good idea,
- 30:21Speaker 2: but I always knew that it would pay off.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I didn't think it was a good idea.
- 30:24Speaker 2: So why'd you stay with it?
- 30:25Speaker 1: Well? I think I got a job offer to go
- 30:27Speaker 1: work for Cox and Jacks, and I was decided between
- 30:30Speaker 1: whether I was going to do that or go be
- 30:32Speaker 1: an anchor and Shreveport. And I was like, ugh, Louisiana,
- 30:36Speaker 1: but all.
- 30:36Speaker 2: The anchor jobs are tough. Too many friends that are
- 30:38Speaker 2: in the news. I'm like all the because like side
- 30:41Speaker 2: note when you're doing the news, this is what I
- 30:43Speaker 2: didn't want to do. From what I've seen, you bounce everywhere.
- 30:47Speaker 2: You do one year in Louisiana and then you got
- 30:48Speaker 2: to do another year in South Carolina, then maybe you
- 30:50Speaker 2: go over to Illinois, then maybe you finally end up
- 30:52Speaker 2: in Orlando, then maybe you go to Tampa. Like you
- 30:55Speaker 2: got to do so much. And I was so grateful
- 30:58Speaker 2: with that. Right here across the bridge, I was like, oh,
- 31:01Speaker 2: that's a big ass radio station. I'll go throw my application. Yeah,
- 31:04Speaker 2: oh here we are. So I haven't had to do that,
- 31:06Speaker 2: and I don't plan on doing that. I don't want
- 31:07Speaker 2: to do that.
- 31:07Speaker 1: May you skip the line.
- 31:08Speaker 2: That's exactly right.
- 31:09Speaker 1: That's kind kind of how I felt. Whereas Jacksonville's down
- 31:12Speaker 1: a big market, but a lot of my friends were
- 31:14Speaker 1: going to market one twenty one, yeah, which is you know, Paducah,
- 31:18Speaker 1: Kentucky or something, And I thought, well, if I'm jumping
- 31:22Speaker 1: all the way to market, forty and I can just
- 31:23Speaker 1: stay here for a couple of years and then figure
- 31:25Speaker 1: it out. I'll figure it out. But I also I
- 31:28Speaker 1: did the news program at Florida, and I would write
- 31:31Speaker 1: my scripts for whatever newscast I was doing, and I
- 31:34Speaker 1: found myself writing it like the weekend updates, oh yea yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 1: where I would add a punchline at the end, and
- 31:39Speaker 1: I thought, you can't you literally can't do that. This
- 31:42Speaker 1: is the news. And so I thought, well, radio will
- 31:45Speaker 1: let me talk about anything m And that's how I
- 31:48Speaker 1: ended up here.
- 31:49Speaker 2: And then it just from that job, it just continued
- 31:51Speaker 2: to grow because that's when there's Jackson Atlanta, then here excellent.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, I want to make sex jokes
- 31:56Speaker 1: on them.
- 31:58Speaker 2: On the air, where yeah, it wouldn't make sense for
- 32:00Speaker 2: to be in the news. And I say that as
- 32:01Speaker 2: somebody that's also said it to myself, because when I
- 32:03Speaker 2: wanted to do radio, literally my grandma would question me
- 32:06Speaker 2: why I didn't want to be a reporter. My dad
- 32:07Speaker 2: would ask me constantly why I didn't want to do
- 32:09Speaker 2: the news. I was like, guys, I can't sit there
- 32:11Speaker 2: and read a tell a prompter about the most depressing
- 32:13Speaker 2: shit that ever happens that is not who I am.
- 32:17Speaker 2: I will find a way in radio, just give me
- 32:19Speaker 2: a second, and if it's not radio, it would radio
- 32:22Speaker 2: will help it get to something else. But I don't
- 32:24Speaker 2: think I could do that on the news unless it's
- 32:26Speaker 2: like right now, like I do, like a streaming news
- 32:29Speaker 2: show where it's like, oh, we talk about funny viral videos.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Way more me.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I could be the personality and still be entertaining, but
- 32:36Speaker 2: not somebody that's like, well there's a house fire and
- 32:40Speaker 2: these people were seriously hurt, seriously injured health. No, it
- 32:45Speaker 2: seems so depressing. And the hours, I mean, that's like,
- 32:47Speaker 2: these hours are ridiculous. But I have a good friend
- 32:51Speaker 2: that's a works for a news station here and he
- 32:54Speaker 2: wakes up at one.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Am because you have to do the full beat, hair, makeup, out,
- 33:00Speaker 1: then you have to prepare your script, whereas here you
- 33:02Speaker 1: just kind of come in. You don't wing it. No,
- 33:04Speaker 1: but your job is personality, and you don't need to
- 33:06Speaker 1: wake up three hours before the show to get a personality, which.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Some people do. I mean, there are some shows, but
- 33:10Speaker 2: I always thought, you know, if I can't be my
- 33:12Speaker 2: healthiest self, then I can't be my best self. To
- 33:14Speaker 2: actually bring the best forward the actual rand.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I totally agree.
- 33:17Speaker 2: M M. So I'd rather be a little bit more
- 33:18Speaker 2: flexible with Okay, maybe I'm not the most prepped, but
- 33:23Speaker 2: I'm the healthiest. I will last the longest in all context.
- 33:27Speaker 2: And as other people are running themselves literally into the ground,
- 33:31Speaker 2: well then we have energy to go do things and
- 33:34Speaker 2: create more, to live a life, to live a life,
- 33:36Speaker 2: which is literally your job is to live a life.
- 33:38Speaker 1: I wouldn't have gone on Sunday if I was exhausted
- 33:40Speaker 1: from the week. See, I'd be like, I can't go
- 33:43Speaker 1: meet you get.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Paid to party. And that all comes back to what
- 33:46Speaker 2: it's like to be an influencer. So technically you are
- 33:48Speaker 2: an infl.
- 33:49Speaker 1: So how do we even get down this route? So anyway,
- 33:51Speaker 1: I don't really consider myself an influencer. What was I
- 33:55Speaker 1: Where were we going with.
- 33:56Speaker 2: That tangent about the college?
- 33:58Speaker 1: No, not about college, as I said, something about influencing.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Oh the difference between going out to lunch with people
- 34:05Speaker 1: who slide into your DMS as a woman versus a man.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Oh like, if we're talking about, like, yes, meeting people
- 34:11Speaker 2: at Bulan.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Especially in the influencer space, this is influencing can be
- 34:16Speaker 1: very social climby. So I'm very sometimes wary of other
- 34:20Speaker 1: people who want to be influencers when they want to
- 34:24Speaker 1: be friendly. Not in the sense that I like immediately
- 34:26Speaker 1: clock them, it's there's some kind of social climber, but
- 34:29Speaker 1: it's something I take note of for sure.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Absolutely, which I feel like somebody who's like wanting to
- 34:33Speaker 2: just use you, yeah, for like what you have. I'm like, okay,
- 34:36Speaker 2: I'd rather have a connection with you, and it's genuine
- 34:39Speaker 2: versus like what you're just gonna use what I've built
- 34:42Speaker 2: to help launch you?
- 34:43Speaker 1: Yeah, which under I mean, do I totally get it,
- 34:47Speaker 1: Like I literally understand why someone would do that, But
- 34:49Speaker 1: I think I am naturally very cynical, and so I
- 34:52Speaker 1: think I do get a little bit cynical in those
- 34:54Speaker 1: moments where it does feel a little social climby. Sometimes
- 34:58Speaker 1: not saying I'm some big wig influence sir, but I
- 35:01Speaker 1: definitely see it from time to time, And sometimes I
- 35:04Speaker 1: notice that it's not even the people that are already influencing,
- 35:08Speaker 1: but it's the people who maybe even subconsciously don't know
- 35:12Speaker 1: it themselves. Oh yeah, I want to be friends with
- 35:14Speaker 1: you because they want.
- 35:15Speaker 2: To be you, yeah, And I think it's if it's
- 35:19Speaker 2: gonna be that relationship, it has to be a two
- 35:20Speaker 2: way street. It can't just be like I guess you're
- 35:23Speaker 2: just gonna that's the term parasitic of like social Well
- 35:27Speaker 2: I was just thinking, like a parasite, Oh yeah, parasitic
- 35:29Speaker 2: is the right one. Yeah, where someone is just like
- 35:31Speaker 2: I just don't want to get as much as I
- 35:32Speaker 2: can from you, And I'm like I get that, Like
- 35:35Speaker 2: if we're two collaborators and we want to come and
- 35:37Speaker 2: build something together, well you need to be able to
- 35:39Speaker 2: provide me something that's gonna give me and I could
- 35:41Speaker 2: provide you something versus like if you just want to
- 35:44Speaker 2: get together, which I'm curious if you had anybody reach
- 35:47Speaker 2: out since you've been here yet, whether it's in the
- 35:49Speaker 2: influencing world or the media world, because what I've noticed
- 35:53Speaker 2: is a lot of people want to sit down and
- 35:54Speaker 2: have a conversation. But I always like to look at
- 35:56Speaker 2: those moments of like, well, what are you bringing to
- 35:58Speaker 2: the table. I love being able to be a mentor,
- 36:01Speaker 2: Like if you're trying to get into the space, I
- 36:03Speaker 2: would love to be able to help you. But if
- 36:05Speaker 2: you're just somebody else in the industry. I'm like, well,
- 36:07Speaker 2: what do you You can't just take from what I
- 36:09Speaker 2: have built. You have to be able to bring something
- 36:11Speaker 2: to also help me. That's symbiotic. That's what I'm going for.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I haven't gotten any of those messages in Tampa.
- 36:18Speaker 1: If anything, it's more genuine because it's like people from
- 36:21Speaker 1: your past.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Yeah, they're actually just like, oh my god, I could
- 36:24Speaker 2: use friends.
- 36:25Speaker 1: And I know, if anything, I should be less bothered
- 36:27Speaker 1: by this. I was like, Oh, I'm like, ah, this
- 36:29Speaker 1: person haven't seen since middle school wants to hang out.
- 36:31Speaker 1: That's so sweet. Instead, I'm like, what do you want?
- 36:33Speaker 2: I mean. It's so tough though, because then you do
- 36:35Speaker 2: it and you actually get together and you're like, sometimes,
- 36:38Speaker 2: oh this is hmmm. I feel like a lot of
- 36:40Speaker 2: people could relate to this, though. It's like it's almost
- 36:42Speaker 2: better to just live in that fantasy of like what was,
- 36:44Speaker 2: because when you get together with them again, you realize
- 36:46Speaker 2: it's like, oh my god, we have nothing here, we're
- 36:49Speaker 2: not connected, We're totally different people, completely different. And then
- 36:52Speaker 2: it's like that the last memory we want, like or
- 36:55Speaker 2: do we just live in that fantasy and we'll just
- 36:58Speaker 2: always say when we're out we need to catch up,
- 37:00Speaker 2: and we never do, but we still have the good
- 37:02Speaker 2: memories of when we're in high school together. Like I'd
- 37:04Speaker 2: almost rather live there because then you sit down with somebody.
- 37:06Speaker 2: I remember I did this a friend once and like
- 37:08Speaker 2: finally made time and we got a drink together, and
- 37:11Speaker 2: I remember sitting there, I was like, I think he
- 37:12Speaker 2: hates me, and I don't think he does now because
- 37:16Speaker 2: it's been some months time, because it's just the conversation sucked.
- 37:20Speaker 2: It like didn't go anywhere. I felt like I was
- 37:23Speaker 2: throwing any question out there. Obviously I could yap and nothing.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Maybe that was the problem. You were yapping too much,
- 37:28Speaker 1: I know.
- 37:29Speaker 2: But then I would let it sit and how long
- 37:32Speaker 2: could we sit in the silence? I'm like, all right,
- 37:35Speaker 2: I don't know if we're we are casual friends, but
- 37:38Speaker 2: I don't think we're go out friends. I don't think
- 37:40Speaker 2: we'll go have a drink and have dinner alone. Friends.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Maybe in a group setting friends, but not solo friends.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Friends.
- 37:46Speaker 2: That's right, you have to have a group setting friends.
- 37:48Speaker 2: I like a group setting friend people that you could
- 37:50Speaker 2: see in the group. You'll get together and it's a
- 37:52Speaker 2: great time, but you necessarily you wouldn't go to brunch
- 37:55Speaker 2: with them, or at least I won. And I'm not
- 37:57Speaker 2: good at that. I'm not not everybody gets my brunch time.
- 37:59Speaker 2: They really don't because not everyone has that same like.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Eight eighties, get your brunch time.
- 38:07Speaker 2: I haven't gotten on any brunch dates yet. That that's
- 38:09Speaker 2: a big commitment. I like a good like drink right now,
- 38:12Speaker 2: and first.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Comes love, then comes marriage, then comes brunch, and.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Then comes brunch. Then we'll go and get some hash
- 38:16Speaker 2: Browns and maybe a bagel on some blocks. Not a
- 38:18Speaker 2: waffle house, So you don't like I do not like
- 38:19Speaker 2: waffle house. Waffle House is actually and we'll finish on this.
- 38:23Speaker 2: I think it's an overrated restaurant that people talk about
- 38:26Speaker 2: a lot when they're here, especially if like it's a
- 38:27Speaker 2: Sunday morning they went on all Saturday.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Like gotta get a waffle Just imagine how it isn't
- 38:31Speaker 1: Atlanta huge. Okay, let me finish up this list and
- 38:35Speaker 1: then we can close out the pod because we have
- 38:37Speaker 1: our meeting. Oh my god, yes, okay, big fitness culture
- 38:41Speaker 1: easier to navigate. Love that next one? Next one like
- 38:48Speaker 1: is that it traffic. I've almost run out of gas
- 38:51Speaker 1: so many times on the Harrison Franklin.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Bridge with Harrison Franklin. Howard Franklin.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Yeah, Hella Bridges, Hella Bridge is here.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Well, you drive that bridge every day and it's unexpectedly big.
- 39:01Speaker 2: I told somebody. Yes, I was like, that's not in
- 39:04Speaker 2: a good one, that's pleasant surprise.
- 39:07Speaker 1: These are two things I did want to talk about.
- 39:08Speaker 1: So I've had two very uncomfortable experiences, which you were
- 39:11Speaker 1: privy to. One of them. Remember when we went when
- 39:13Speaker 1: we went to go get the flowers at Public's, oh
- 39:16Speaker 1: Man hit on me. Yeah, while I was wearing that sweatshirt,
- 39:19Speaker 1: and I was like, Oh, that's like so weird and random.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Why would he say that? But whatever, I guess we're
- 39:23Speaker 1: just in a weird part of Tampa. I went to
- 39:25Speaker 1: the Bay Shore Publics wearing a pair of alo shorts
- 39:30Speaker 1: at a tank top and I was getting my question chips,
- 39:33Speaker 1: and this old man sneaks up behind me. Oh no,
- 39:36Speaker 1: and he goes something along the lines of you make
- 39:39Speaker 1: me feel like I'm overdressed here, and I go okay.
- 39:43Speaker 1: I just didn't know how to respond. I was like,
- 39:45Speaker 1: what do I say.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Back, sir? Why because I'm underdressed? Are you saying that?
- 39:49Speaker 2: I look good or are you trying to hit on me?
- 39:52Speaker 1: It was just a weird because it was kind of
- 39:54Speaker 1: the same thing with the first old man who just
- 39:56Speaker 1: made a comment about my sweatshirt and said this cowboy
- 39:58Speaker 1: don't lax at a sweatshirt, that cowboys lie on it.
- 40:01Speaker 1: And it was just kind of a weird moment, like.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Sir, you were literally twice my age, Like, let's let's
- 40:06Speaker 2: go down.
- 40:06Speaker 1: So now I'm scared to go back to publics because
- 40:08Speaker 1: it's not that it two times is a lot, but
- 40:11Speaker 1: two times in.
- 40:11Speaker 2: A week is like, actually, I've kind of capped out
- 40:15Speaker 2: on how many times I could get hit on by
- 40:16Speaker 2: an old man.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm actually horrified.
- 40:18Speaker 2: I think that's why you gotta go to Trader Joe's
- 40:20Speaker 2: much more.
- 40:21Speaker 1: I feel like, no, no, And ever time I go
- 40:24Speaker 1: to Trader Joe's, I feel like I need to go
- 40:25Speaker 1: to publics after.
- 40:26Speaker 2: What, No, you get every okay, what are you getting
- 40:28Speaker 2: the public so they can't get a Trader Joe's jo Banni.
- 40:30Speaker 2: They don't have Chobanni there. You can't just switch your
- 40:33Speaker 2: yoga brand.
- 40:33Speaker 1: No, there's a reason I have the same I had
- 40:36Speaker 1: the same breakfast every single day for the last two years.
- 40:38Speaker 1: It's the Chobani twenty grams of protein, zero added sugar mango.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I know that's a free ad.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Everyone, go ahead and click that and put in promo
- 40:48Speaker 2: code Abby's promo code.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Abby's got a good Gut, Healthy gut biome healthy microbios
- 40:55Speaker 1: at abby dot com. And then the last one on
- 40:58Speaker 1: my unexpected Tampa list is the Saint Pete versus Tampa rivalry.
- 41:02Speaker 1: But you're only going to hear people in Saint Pete
- 41:04Speaker 1: talk about it.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Dang, are you saying that we're more obsessed with it
- 41:07Speaker 2: than they are?
- 41:08Speaker 1: No, but I think you have a right to be
- 41:10Speaker 1: like you'll never hear people in Tampa compare Tampa to
- 41:12Speaker 1: Saint Pete, but you will always hear people in Saint
- 41:14Speaker 1: Pete compare to Saint Pete to Tampa because there's more
- 41:17Speaker 1: to do in Saint Pete.
- 41:18Speaker 2: That's exactly right. I think most people moved from Tampa
- 41:20Speaker 2: here where you're not moving the other way. Yes, uh huh,
- 41:23Speaker 2: you don't go back over the bridge. I'm sorry to.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Tampa, but it's funny. A lot of people move to
- 41:27Speaker 1: Tampa thinking they thinking that Saint Pete is Tampa, but
- 41:30Speaker 1: they look at Tampa and they're like, oh, the beach
- 41:32Speaker 1: is actually an hour away.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Yeah, You're like, actually, not in the part of town
- 41:35Speaker 2: that you're really excited to be a part of. Because
- 41:37Speaker 2: usually when you visit, and this is how it goes down,
- 41:39Speaker 2: you'll meet a lot of people that move here. You
- 41:41Speaker 2: visit a friend that lives in Saint Pete and you're like,
- 41:43Speaker 2: oh my god, I love Tampa. Yeah, and then you
- 41:46Speaker 2: go to Tampa like this is not what I was promised.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Tampa is not Saint Pete.
- 41:49Speaker 2: And that's why everybody from Tampa ends up going over
- 41:51Speaker 2: that bridge, and that's why it's literally like a portal
- 41:53Speaker 2: on the bridge. As soon as you cross it, you're like, oh,
- 41:56Speaker 2: this is nice.
- 41:57Speaker 1: It is totally different.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Very different vibe. I like Tampa. If it's a random
- 42:01Speaker 2: one night out and I'm like, let's go see a
- 42:03Speaker 2: different scene, catch a lightning game, go get a drink
- 42:05Speaker 2: at a random bar by the water. Awesome. Love walking
- 42:08Speaker 2: Bay short, love it. But you catch me out. Most
- 42:12Speaker 2: of the time, it's gonna be downtown Saint Pete. I
- 42:14Speaker 2: like a good chill, loving hippie vibe.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Hipp vibe it's giving hippie.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't like douchey. I like hippie.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Tampa's douche sat Pete's hippie.
- 42:23Speaker 2: And that's exactly why. Eventually they're gonna move across that bridge.
- 42:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna jump in the bay.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Just swim across. All right, Well that's all we got
- 42:31Speaker 2: for today. We'll continue putting these things up as things
- 42:33Speaker 2: happen in life, and I believe we have something big happening.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Oh tonight, okay, so tonight you're gonna go see weather
- 42:40Speaker 2: in highschoo h.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I'm seeing Weathering Heights tonight with my future sister in
- 42:43Speaker 1: law at Senate B Street.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Oh so that's a new spot. You haven't been there yet.
- 42:47Speaker 2: They got good food, I know. So I want to
- 42:49Speaker 2: hear that update tomorrow because I want to go see
- 42:51Speaker 2: that movie. But I also don't know if it's appropriate.
- 42:53Speaker 2: It's just like a single man to go see that movie.
- 42:56Speaker 1: It's like you going to see inside Out or something
- 42:58Speaker 1: in the back and Yeah, I'm like, like, why is
- 43:00Speaker 1: this man here?
- 43:01Speaker 2: Why is random? He's not even with somebody?
- 43:03Speaker 1: Do you want to just come with me and my
- 43:04Speaker 1: sister in law?
- 43:05Speaker 2: I think I'm going to Andre.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Oh I forgot you. Yes, just like two pm when
- 43:12Speaker 1: no one's there.
- 43:13Speaker 2: But that's gonna be like literally probably where I'm sitting
- 43:15Speaker 2: next to, like I don't know, a bunch of different couples,
- 43:18Speaker 2: a girl group, wait, our kids allowed in that movie.
- 43:22Speaker 2: I was like, gosh, I don't know if that's from
- 43:23Speaker 2: what I've heard, it's not a proverse.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Do you feel that as a man you can't go
- 43:26Speaker 1: to certain places because you think it's gonna come off
- 43:27Speaker 1: as creepy? Absolutely, because I would feel creepy. Yeah, but
- 43:31Speaker 1: it's not.
- 43:32Speaker 2: It doesn't help because that's literally I want to go
- 43:33Speaker 2: see this movie, but I'm like, what, I guess I
- 43:35Speaker 2: will go alone. I want to see to like be
- 43:38Speaker 2: able to talk about it.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Go with your roommate.
- 43:41Speaker 2: I said that to him, But then that also feels
- 43:43Speaker 2: weird because it's like, what are we both watching a
- 43:44Speaker 2: sex movie together? Like this is awkward.
- 43:46Speaker 1: It's not a sex movie.
- 43:47Speaker 2: See, that's everyone saying. I saw a video of a
- 43:49Speaker 2: girl that you know her man put his hand over
- 43:53Speaker 2: her eyes and she couldn't get enough, and so she
- 43:55Speaker 2: lifted his hand to keep watching because it's that dirty.
- 43:59Speaker 2: That's what i've That's what the TikTok says.
- 44:01Speaker 1: You and your roommate should just turn on a different
- 44:03Speaker 1: website together.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Well, if I see weather in Heights, then we could
- 44:07Speaker 2: finally talk about it sometime this week, though, Abby, What
- 44:09Speaker 2: are your socials.

- 44:16Speaker 2: T T A V l I N. And check out
