- 0:00Speaker 1: Do you think that the DOJ should reopen the investigation
- 0:03Speaker 1: to the autopen specifically pertaining.
- 0:05Speaker 2: To Fauci, Well, the only thing you can really think
- 0:07Speaker 2: about is the autopen because the most powerful thing the president,
- 0:12Speaker 2: as they say, is the power of pardon.
- 0:14Speaker 3: So he was pardoned by Biden.
- 0:16Speaker 4: I signed my things directly.
- 0:19Speaker 2: He signed very few. The only thing I know that
- 0:21Speaker 2: he signed was Hunter Biden's pardon, but I'm not.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Sure that he signed. He probably didn't sign this one.
- 0:28Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Good Saturday Morning nights.
- 0:33Speaker 5: Have you with us on the forty seven Morning Update,
- 0:35Speaker 5: and we've got two big stories for you.
- 0:37Speaker 4: First up and Bomb Show revelations.
- 0:39Speaker 5: There's an extremely good chance now Russia is actively involved
- 0:44Speaker 5: in helping Iran, and that would mean coming after and
- 0:47Speaker 5: killing American troops. So what does that mean for America's response.
- 0:52Speaker 5: We'll explain it to you. Also, doctor Anthony Fauci, Well,
- 0:56Speaker 5: we've got diary entries now that show that not only
- 0:59Speaker 5: was he a nar, he was obsessed with his own
- 1:02Speaker 5: celebrity literally as quote millions of Americans were dying. So
- 1:09Speaker 5: is there going to be any accountability for what Fauci
- 1:11Speaker 5: said in his diaries compared to what he said to
- 1:14Speaker 5: the American people publicly, because somebody was getting lied to,
- 1:18Speaker 5: and there's a very good chance it was all of us.
- 1:21Speaker 4: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Now, story number one.
- 1:25Speaker 5: So we've got some breaking news and it involves Ukraine, Russia, Iran,
- 1:31Speaker 5: and the United States of America, and it can have
- 1:34Speaker 5: enormous consequences not just for Europe, but for every American
- 1:39Speaker 5: with troops serving in the Middle East. The Ukrainian President
- 1:43Speaker 5: Zolenski says he's bringing what he described as evidence directly
- 1:48Speaker 5: to the White House alleging that Russia has actually been
- 1:52Speaker 5: helping Iran target American military bases across the Middle East.
- 1:57Speaker 5: This according to Zelensky, Ukrainian intelligence has tracked Russian satellite
- 2:03Speaker 5: surveillance of Gulf States and US military facilities and says
- 2:07Speaker 5: those images were later used by Iran before and after
- 2:12Speaker 5: attacks on American positions. Some of those attacks have killed
- 2:16Speaker 5: American troops. Here's more on this from Fox News Channel.
- 2:20Speaker 6: Ukrainian leader Vodimerzelensky says he is bringing evidence to the
- 2:24Speaker 6: White House tomorrow that Russia is assisting Iran in targeting
- 2:28Speaker 6: US bases in the Middle East, use Chief National Security
- 2:32Speaker 6: correspondent Jennifer Griffin.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I'll ask you quoting about it. We'll find out.
- 2:36Speaker 1: President Trump's response to Ukraine's Volodimir Zolenski's claim that Russia
- 2:40Speaker 1: is helping Iran.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Hasn't had much impact because we've knocked the hell out
- 2:44Speaker 2: of him.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Zelensky says he will share evidence with President Trump. Russia
- 2:48Speaker 1: is providing Iran satellite imagery of US bases in the
- 2:51Speaker 1: Middle East, helping Iran target US troops. Zelenski will be
- 2:55Speaker 1: in Washington Tuesday to attend Senator Lindsey Graham's funeral and
- 3:00Speaker 1: says it struck in Iranian ship in the Caspian Sea
- 3:02Speaker 1: that was carrying military cargo, highlighting the growing Russia Iran
- 3:06Speaker 1: partnership and eliciting anger from Iran's Foreign minister quote, Zelenski
- 3:11Speaker 1: has attacked an Iranian commercial vessel, killing a sailor, a
- 3:15Speaker 1: blatant un charter violation. What the freeloader in Kiev did
- 3:19Speaker 1: cannot go unanswered. Iran has provided Russia with thousands of
- 3:23Speaker 1: one way Shahid attack drones since the start of the war,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and now there are new signs the conflicts in Europe,
- 3:30Speaker 1: in the Middle East, maybe converging and expanding.
- 3:33Speaker 7: North Korea will send to Russia. So two thousand of
- 3:37Speaker 7: soldiers Iranians will sell missiles to Russia.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Then what is really a big problem.
- 3:44Speaker 7: China began to work with Russian and they work on
- 3:47Speaker 7: satellites and on technologies and etc. To be more how
- 3:52Speaker 7: to say it precise.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Taking us earlier, today's smoke was seen billowing out of
- 3:59Speaker 1: Saudi Ramco oil facilities at sites across Saudi Arabia after
- 4:04Speaker 1: being hit by projectiles as part of a growing proxy
- 4:07Speaker 1: war with Iran. For the first time, Saudi Arabia's defense
- 4:11Speaker 1: ministry is calling out Iraq for allowing Iranian back militias
- 4:15Speaker 1: to fire drones and missiles from Iraq at targets in
- 4:18Speaker 1: Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in the Gulf. Today, a spokesman
- 4:21Speaker 1: for the Iraqi Prime Minister said Iraq will not allow
- 4:25Speaker 1: its territory to be used to launch attacks against neighboring countries,
- 4:28Speaker 1: but they already have read now.
- 4:30Speaker 5: The president was also asked on Air Force one about this,
- 4:34Speaker 5: and here's more of what the president had to say.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Lenki Araba, Lensky says.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Selensky says that.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Russia is giving Iran satellite immagery of US meats in
- 4:45Speaker 2: the Gulf help them target.
- 4:47Speaker 3: What do you think about that?
- 4:48Speaker 2: Well, we'll find out of this, I'll ask you blutin
- 4:50Speaker 2: about it. We'll find out hasn't had much impact because
- 4:55Speaker 2: we've knocked the hell out of it. When you think
- 4:57Speaker 2: if that's the case, Look, you know they gave Venezuela
- 5:00Speaker 2: a lot of equipment. Venezuela had all Russian equipment. How
- 5:05Speaker 2: did that work out? That's too good. So they may
- 5:08Speaker 2: be giving But if they are, it hasn't worked out
- 5:11Speaker 2: because they have no army, they have no air force,
- 5:14Speaker 2: they have no navy, they have no nothing. So it
- 5:17Speaker 2: hasn't worked out well. I don't think. I don't think
- 5:20Speaker 2: they've been doing it, certainly not at a high level,
- 5:22Speaker 2: and if they have, it has been very un impactful.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Now, for years, Americans have viewed the war in Ukraine
- 5:30Speaker 5: is largely separate from America's military challenges in the Middle East.
- 5:34Speaker 5: But if these allegations are ultimately substantiated, this would represent
- 5:39Speaker 5: a significant escalation. Now, Zolensky is arguing that these conflicts
- 5:45Speaker 5: are no longer separate. They are becoming one interconnected battlefield.
- 5:50Speaker 5: According to the Ukrainian president, this isn't simply Russia's selling
- 5:53Speaker 5: Iran weapons or drones. He's alleging that Russia is providing
- 5:57Speaker 5: the intelligence and support needed by collecting satellite imagery of
- 6:02Speaker 5: US military installations, and that there is a correlation between
- 6:06Speaker 5: the surveillance and then the Iranian strikes. Now, I also
- 6:10Speaker 5: want to be clear, this isn't the first time concerns
- 6:13Speaker 5: about Russian assistance to Iran have surfaced.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Earlier this year.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Multiple US officials told CBS News that Russia had been
- 6:22Speaker 5: providing intelligence regarding US military positions in the Middle East
- 6:26Speaker 5: to Iran during the conflict. Other reporting has also described
- 6:30Speaker 5: US intelligence agencies examining whether Russian assistants may have played
- 6:35Speaker 5: a role in improving Iran's ability to strike the American
- 6:39Speaker 5: targets that they were going after. And then that brings
- 6:42Speaker 5: us to the larger strategic picture here. If you look
- 6:46Speaker 5: at all of this, what we're now seeing is there
- 6:49Speaker 5: is clearly a new alliance that is taking place. There's
- 6:54Speaker 5: a new you could even call it, axis of evil.
- 6:57Speaker 5: You have Russia, you have Iran, and you have North Korea.
- 7:02Speaker 5: And then you can add in a bigger player than
- 7:04Speaker 5: all three of those combined, China, because increasingly China is
- 7:10Speaker 5: providing diplomatic and economic backing for almost all of the
- 7:14Speaker 5: individuals that I just mentioned. So this is like a
- 7:18Speaker 5: axis of evil superpower. You would have Russia, Iran, North Korea,
- 7:22Speaker 5: and China all working together to undermine and kill American
- 7:27Speaker 5: soldiers in the Middle East, and hopefully they hope that
- 7:31Speaker 5: America will at some point just disappear from the Middle
- 7:34Speaker 5: East and they can say we want it now. These
- 7:38Speaker 5: countries they don't have to sign a formal military alliance
- 7:41Speaker 5: to coordinate their actions. In fact, they probably would never
- 7:44Speaker 5: do that because then they have plausible deniability. If they
- 7:49Speaker 5: share intelligence, they share technology, they share military equipment, if
- 7:52Speaker 5: they share the same strategic objectives, they're already acting in
- 7:57Speaker 5: ways that directly affect our national security. And that's part
- 8:02Speaker 5: of what Zelensky is coming to the US to say,
- 8:05Speaker 5: Because what Zelensky's case is, Hey, you're now at war
- 8:09Speaker 5: with Russia, whether you want to admit or not, and China,
- 8:12Speaker 5: whether you want admit it or not, and Iran, whether
- 8:14Speaker 5: you want to admit it or not. Right even when
- 8:15Speaker 5: there's a quote ceasefire, and his message to Washington is
- 8:19Speaker 5: basically this, don't think of Ukraine as a regional conflict anymore.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Think of it as one in a broader you contest
- 8:29Speaker 5: involving America's principal adversaries. Now, why would he do this.
- 8:34Speaker 5: It's clear because he wants to draw us more into
- 8:37Speaker 5: the conflict if he believes that America being involved in
- 8:40Speaker 5: the conflict would help him help his country more than
- 8:43Speaker 5: anybody else. From Kief's perspective, if Russia is willing to
- 8:47Speaker 5: help a ran target American forces today, then what does
- 8:50Speaker 5: that say about where this conflict is heading tomorrow? In
- 8:54Speaker 5: other words, America, you better get involved now.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Now.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Let me also say it's very much worth remembering. Now,
- 9:00Speaker 5: let me also say this, and this is important. We
- 9:03Speaker 5: have seen flash points like this before. I don't think
- 9:07Speaker 5: the President's going to walk out this meeting and immediately
- 9:09Speaker 5: say all right, here we go Russia. Game on in
- 9:12Speaker 5: the way that Zelensky is probably hoping. The United States
- 9:17Speaker 5: has thousands of troops stations throughout the Middle East. Those
- 9:21Speaker 5: service members, by the way, there aren't political talking points.
- 9:25Speaker 5: That's what the president does care about. And when Americans
- 9:28Speaker 5: are being killed because there's other countries like Russia China
- 9:31Speaker 5: helping target them, then this is in fact an American
- 9:35Speaker 5: issue because these service members, they're wearing the American uniform.
- 9:41Speaker 5: And if any foreign government knowingly helped another country improve
- 9:45Speaker 5: its ability to attack and kill American forces, well, then
- 9:49Speaker 5: how would you not look at this at a bare
- 9:51Speaker 5: minimum as an extraordinarily serious national security issue and matter?
- 9:58Speaker 4: So what happens now?
- 10:00Speaker 5: Well, well, the first question is whether US intelligence reaches
- 10:03Speaker 5: the same conclusion as Ukraine. By the way, Ukraine has
- 10:07Speaker 5: a objective here that well could easily be to juice
- 10:10Speaker 5: the Intel to help them out because they want America
- 10:13Speaker 5: more involved. So we have to be cautious. In other words,
- 10:17Speaker 5: trust but verify. And the second issue is whether the
- 10:20Speaker 5: White House believes the evidence that supports Zelensky's claims is
- 10:24Speaker 5: worth US actually acting on. There's also the most consequential question,
- 10:29Speaker 5: and that's this, how is Donald Trump going to respond
- 10:33Speaker 5: if American intelligence determines that Russia did provide meaningful assistance
- 10:38Speaker 5: to Iran? Does that change the US policy towards Moscow
- 10:42Speaker 5: with major sanctions, Does it effect ongoing diplomatic efforts, does
- 10:47Speaker 5: it lead to additional sanctions on top of the fact
- 10:50Speaker 5: that we may actually get involved in the war and
- 10:52Speaker 5: help Ukraine more than we already have. These are all
- 10:55Speaker 5: the questions that shape American foreign policy in the months
- 10:58Speaker 5: to come. And this story he also highlights something we've
- 11:01Speaker 5: been watching develop for quite some time. The world's major
- 11:04Speaker 5: conflicts are increasingly interconnected and overlapping. The same Iranian drones
- 11:10Speaker 5: that Russia has used in Ukraine have now become central
- 11:14Speaker 5: to fighting in the Middle East. Military technologies developed on
- 11:18Speaker 5: the battlefield are quickly showing up on another battlefield. Intelligence
- 11:23Speaker 5: collected in one region is now being used in another.
- 11:26Speaker 5: The lines of this conflict are becoming much harder to draw.
- 11:31Speaker 5: And that's exactly why Zelensky wants this meeting with the
- 11:34Speaker 5: White House. He's trying to convince the United States of
- 11:36Speaker 5: America that whatever's happening in Ukraine cannot be viewed as
- 11:41Speaker 5: an isolated issue anymore. It must be looked at as
- 11:45Speaker 5: a threat to the United States. Now, Donald Trump hass
- 11:48Speaker 5: aside how he responds to all of that, And we'll
- 11:51Speaker 5: have it for you here.
- 11:52Speaker 4: I can promise you that now story number two.
- 11:55Speaker 5: They say that fame can be one hell of a drug,
- 11:58Speaker 5: and no one loved that drug more apparently than doctor
- 12:01Speaker 5: Anthony Fauci. He was not a name that anyone knew
- 12:05Speaker 5: before the COVID pandemic, but by the end of it,
- 12:08Speaker 5: his name ID in this country and honestly around the world.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Well, it was superstar status.
- 12:15Speaker 5: We now know just how much Anthony Fauci was obsessed
- 12:19Speaker 5: with his image.
- 12:21Speaker 4: The newly released.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Diary entries from doctor Anthony Fauci suggests that the former
- 12:26Speaker 5: White House COVID advisor became increasingly quote preoccupied with his
- 12:31Speaker 5: growing celebrity status, even as the coronavirus pandemic claimed tens
- 12:36Speaker 5: of thousands of American lives. The journals, released this past
- 12:41Speaker 5: weekend by Senator Rand Paul chronicle Fauci's private thoughts during
- 12:46Speaker 5: the early months of the pandemic, when he served as
- 12:49Speaker 5: the nation's top infectious disease expert and a leading member
- 12:53Speaker 5: of the White House's coronavirus task Force. In an April seventh,
- 12:57Speaker 5: twenty twenty diary entry, when more than sixty thousand Americans
- 13:02Speaker 5: were already dead from COVID nineteen, Fauci wrote, quote, press
- 13:08Speaker 5: still hot and heavy about me, multiple stories per day,
- 13:13Speaker 5: directly or indirectly involving me. Weeks later, on May twenty first,
- 13:18Speaker 5: Fauci described his national and international fame as explosive and
- 13:24Speaker 5: really unimaginable quote unquote. He also added that it was
- 13:29Speaker 5: quote not hyperbole to characterize his level of global recognition
- 13:34Speaker 5: by that way. By then, nearly eighty nine thousand Americans
- 13:38Speaker 5: had died from the virus, and he was excited about
- 13:41Speaker 5: everybody knowing who he was now. The diary also shows
- 13:45Speaker 5: Fauci receiving invitations tied to his newfound celebrity. In late
- 13:50Speaker 5: June twenty twenty, as daily US COVID nineteen cases climbed
- 13:55Speaker 5: to a then record forty thousand, he wrote that he
- 13:59Speaker 5: had been in to appear on ABC's Dancing with the Stars.
- 14:04Speaker 5: Faunci also documented growing tension with President Donald Trump's White House,
- 14:09Speaker 5: writing that extensive media coverage was turning him into a
- 14:12Speaker 5: star that outshines his words, a star that outshines the president.
- 14:19Speaker 5: He recalled secret Service officers at the White House security
- 14:23Speaker 5: gates routinely recognizing his vehicle and waving him through without
- 14:27Speaker 5: requesting identification. And that is what power drunk sounds like
- 14:32Speaker 5: in a diary, my friends, Now, despite the attention, Fauci
- 14:35Speaker 5: wrote that he had quote no desire to conflict with,
- 14:39Speaker 5: embarrassed or showed up. Now, of course, despite the attention,
- 14:43Speaker 5: Fauci wrote that he had quote no desire to conflict with,
- 14:47Speaker 5: embarrass or show up the potus and later decided to
- 14:52Speaker 5: stop participating in profile interviews. Now, Senator Paul releasing this
- 14:57Speaker 5: is pretty interesting. He's a long time Fauci critic. He's
- 15:00Speaker 5: also the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental
- 15:04Speaker 5: Affairs Committee, and he released the diary entries days before
- 15:07Speaker 5: Fauci is scheduled to testify before the committee under a
- 15:11Speaker 5: subpoena issued by the Kentucky Republican Senator Paul argues that
- 15:17Speaker 5: the journal depicts a senior public health official overly focused
- 15:22Speaker 5: on his public image and media profile during one of
- 15:26Speaker 5: the nation's worst public health crisises. Quote Anthony Faucio will
- 15:31Speaker 5: answered to the American people, Paul wrote in a June
- 15:33Speaker 5: twenty eighth post on x, accusing federal health officials of
- 15:38Speaker 5: prioritizing self promotion and media narratives during the early months
- 15:43Speaker 5: of the pandemic over telling you what was actually happening. Now,
- 15:48Speaker 5: the takeaway from all of this for me is actually
- 15:51Speaker 5: pretty simple. It is clear that Anthony Fauci was obsessed
- 15:56Speaker 5: with his fame.
- 15:57Speaker 4: He was obsessed with being the Senate of Attention.
- 16:01Speaker 5: He was obsessed with doing interviews and being on the
- 16:04Speaker 5: cover of magazines and newspapers.
- 16:06Speaker 4: He was obsessed with the.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Countless stories that were coming out each and every day
- 16:10Speaker 5: around him. He was a man that was drunk on
- 16:15Speaker 5: his own supply. And doctor Utch now is going to
- 16:19Speaker 5: have to answer these questions. Was he actually focused on
- 16:22Speaker 5: saving American lives or was he more focused on, well,
- 16:26Speaker 5: how big a star was getting in America and around
- 16:30Speaker 5: the world.
