  The choice that shapes your path every single day you're choosing

  which voice to listen to. Some voices are loud, confident,

  and seductive. They promise fun, freedom, and

  an easy path. Proverbs Chapter 9 describes
• 0:24
  that voice as folly. Loud, flashy, and careless, she
• 0:28
  calls out with confidence, but Scripture says she knows
• 0:31
  nothing. Her invitation looks appealing
• 0:33
  on the surface, but it hides A devastating truth.
• 0:36
  The path she offers leads to emptiness, regret, and
• 0:39
  destruction. The danger isn't just the choice
• 0:42
  itself. It's not realizing where that
• 0:44
  choice is taking you until you're already lost.
• 0:47
  Then there's another voice in today's readings, A quieter,
• 0:50
  more honest 1. Psalm 13 gives us David's raw
• 0:53
  emotions. He feels forgotten.
• 0:55
  He feels overwhelmed. He wonders how long God will
• 0:58
  seem distant. That's real life.

  Faith doesn't mean you never feel doubt or frustration.
• 1:04
  But what matters is where David lands, he says.
• 1:07
  But I have trusted in your steadfast love.
• 1:09
  My heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
• 1:12
  David chooses trust even before his situation changes.
• 1:16
  He doesn't deny the pain. He decides not to let it have
• 1:19
  the final word. And then we come to Matthew
• 1:21
  chapter 28, where everything shifts.

  Jesus has risen from the dead. He gives his disciples a mission
• 1:28
  that feels bigger than them, bigger than their strength,
• 1:31
  bigger than their confidence. And then he makes a promise that
• 1:34
  changes everything. And behold, I am with you
• 1:37
  always, to the end of the age. Not sometimes, not only when
• 1:41
  things go well. Always.

  Jesus doesn't just call you to follow him.
• 1:45
  He walks with you every step of the way.
• 1:48
  That's the real choice, shaping your path.
• 1:50
  Will you listen to the loud voices that promise excitement
• 1:53
  but leave you empty? Or will you listen to the steady
• 1:56
  voice of truth that offers presence, purpose, and life?
• 1:59
  Will you let doubt push you away from God?
• 2:01
  Or will you, like David, choose to trust his steadfast love even
• 2:05
  when answers feel delayed? Life doesn't become easier just
• 2:09
  because you choose God, but it does become anchored.
• 2:12
  You're no longer walking alone. You're no longer guessing your
• 2:15
  worth or direction. When you choose God's truth over
• 2:18
  empty noise, you choose a future shaped by his presence instead
• 2:22
  of your fears. Every voice is leading
• 2:24
  somewhere, every influence is shaping something.
• 2:27
  And today you get to choose again.
• 2:29
  Choose wisdom over folly, trust over despair, truth over
• 2:33
  distraction. And remember this wherever you
• 2:35
  go, whatever you face, Jesus has already promised.

  I am with you always. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, thank you for staying with me even when life
• 2:44
  feels confusing or loud. Help me recognize the voices
• 2:47
  that pull me away from You and give me the wisdom to choose
• 2:50
  Your truth instead. When I feel forgotten or unsure,

  teach me to trust in Your steadfast love.

  Give me courage to walk forward with purpose, knowing that Jesus
