- 0:58Speaker 3: much that the next thing you know, you've forgotten that
- 1:01Speaker 3: you've got a job. You're in Queenstown and it's four
- 1:05Speaker 3: o'clock in the morning, and you think to yourself, maybe
- 1:08Speaker 3: we should go to bed.
- 1:09Speaker 2: What time is your flight?
- 1:10Speaker 3: Ten thirty? So pretty good? Yeah, straight out of the Airbnb,
- 1:14Speaker 3: straight there, tickety boot. But man, I completely forgot that

- 1:22Speaker 3: we were not. At no point did I say should
- 1:24Speaker 3: we better go to bed because it's got work tomorrow.
- 1:26Speaker 3: It's just it never occurred to me at all, which
- 1:30Speaker 3: is pretty irresponsible.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Hugely, hugely response. Can I just say, but.

- 2:06Speaker 2: It's dessicated chicken on a plate with a candle in
- 2:08Speaker 2: the middle.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Of absolutely reeks.
- 2:11Speaker 2: And also Moggie's very his massive honk is quite sensitive today.
- 2:14Speaker 3: He could throw up at any mode. Yeah, I'll blow
- 2:16Speaker 3: that out and I wish for this all to be over,
- 2:18Speaker 3: so it will be over.
- 2:21Speaker 2: So let's get to the tunes.
- 2:23Speaker 3: It is the kell seen as a text with you
- 2:25Speaker 3: tell me that I feel better for eight three The

- 2:37Speaker 2: and twelve minutes past four. You've got Keysy and Moggie
- 2:39Speaker 2: here today Hoidy jay off for the week having a
- 2:42Speaker 2: bit of a holiday, and yesterday was Maggie's birthday. Hence
- 2:46Speaker 2: why he sounds a little different today. Still sounds cool,
- 2:49Speaker 2: though still sounds sweet. A yes, sounds way cooler than normal.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Heaps of texts coming through and also a talkback was
- 2:57Speaker 2: from Michael Maggie. Yes, you get a mug mate.
- 3:02Speaker 4: I just want to wish you a happy birthday. And
- 3:05Speaker 4: I hope you got responsibly hammered and Queen's down on
- 3:09Speaker 4: the weekend.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Brother.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I did. Yeah, it was responsible though it was so responsible.
- 3:16Speaker 3: It's good. That's what I feel like this.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Lots of teas coming in on three four eight three,
- 3:19Speaker 2: a lot of sympathy. Feel better, bitch, yeah, cheers man,
- 3:23Speaker 2: which is great. Please feel a bitter soon, magie. We
- 3:25Speaker 2: need the yarns man. That's cheers from Reagan and Twazle.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Who's reroofing an old milking shed. It's backbone, that's backbone
- 3:33Speaker 2: stuff from down there. Absolute backbone frothing fronting up at
- 3:37Speaker 2: work today. Happy birthday, fresh Q. Yeah exactly, so good
- 3:41Speaker 2: on you man, your birthday?
- 3:43Speaker 3: How was it? It was pretty good. I went down
- 3:44Speaker 3: to Queenstown for the weekend. The missus left me as
- 3:47Speaker 3: you know, kezy, yeah, and she took the kid as well,
- 3:50Speaker 3: and that sort of trekking all around the South Island
- 3:52Speaker 3: there and then yeah, I met up with him in Queenstown.
- 3:56Speaker 3: We landed. We couldn't check into the airbnb until three pm.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I know this is a new normal, but that is
- 4:04Speaker 3: absolutely disgraceful.
- 4:06Speaker 2: It is a bit of a ball like you can't
- 4:07Speaker 2: because you couldn't drop your bags off and nah nah nah.
- 4:11Speaker 3: So anyway, anyway, I got over that quick. I don't
- 4:13Speaker 3: want to ruin the whole holiday kids, it seems like it.
- 4:15Speaker 3: And we went out to this place called ear Burn,
- 4:18Speaker 3: which is about a fifteen or twenty minute drive out
- 4:21Speaker 3: and it's just got heaps of restaurants and stuff. The
- 4:22Speaker 3: guy who owns it, I don't know where he got
- 4:24Speaker 3: his money from, but he's going pretty good. Oh yeah,
- 4:26Speaker 3: he must have. It must have cost him thirty million
- 4:29Speaker 3: dollars or so to do what he's done out there.
- 4:32Speaker 3: It's unreal.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I've never heard of it.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Well it's pretty new, keysy,
- 4:36Speaker 3: I mean, you know, right, And so went there that
- 4:39Speaker 3: was on the first day, then went back to the house,
- 4:41Speaker 3: had a spar and that was all god, except they
- 4:44Speaker 3: had an air conditioning unit in the room which he
- 4:45Speaker 3: couldn't turn off right, and it'll just go for five
- 4:48Speaker 3: seconds on one second off, hear it, you guys go
- 5:00Speaker 3: all night, right, So that was good. Yeah, yeah, I
- 5:02Speaker 3: like that one. And then the next day, what do
- 5:04Speaker 3: we do? We went snowboarding and my daughter never been
- 5:06Speaker 3: in the snow, and I'd never been in the snow
- 5:08Speaker 3: when it was snowing. So it was bloody good. And
- 5:12Speaker 3: that was the last day of the season, and so
- 5:15Speaker 3: I got back on the old snowboard their keys. I've
- 5:18Speaker 3: always been a bit of a snowboarder, and I was
- 5:20Speaker 3: seeing to myself the last time that I went or
- 5:22Speaker 3: I was like what was that was that six or
- 5:23Speaker 3: seven years ago? Talk to my brother it was fourteen
- 5:25Speaker 3: years ago. And I got up there and I absolutely stunk. Really,
- 5:30Speaker 3: I was absolute garbage. It was an embarrassment. It was
- 5:34Speaker 3: a disgrace. I'd completely lost any skill that I may
- 5:38Speaker 3: have once had, really any ability, completely gone, because it
- 5:42Speaker 3: seem how you're meant to have the nose of your
- 5:43Speaker 3: snowboard facing down the hill. Yeah, Nat, I had my toes,
- 5:47Speaker 3: both toes, sits to toes pointing down the hill. And
- 5:51Speaker 3: then you do this thing that's called falling leaves, which
- 5:54Speaker 3: you just sort of go left to right, left or
- 5:56Speaker 3: right and sloated out. And I must have fallen on
- 5:58Speaker 3: my ass a thousand times. And we're only up there
- 6:01Speaker 3: for a few hours because we had to go and
- 6:03Speaker 3: meet some people for a feed, and so I just
- 6:05Speaker 3: in theen. I did one run and it's not a run.
- 6:08Speaker 3: I did what went down once. I just like, I'm
- 6:10Speaker 3: not I don't have time to get better at this
- 6:11Speaker 3: for this to be fun. And that's how I remember
- 6:13Speaker 3: it being I remember it being fun. It was not
- 6:15Speaker 3: fun at all. And also they had the magic carpet.
- 6:17Speaker 3: The carpet you know lift that goes up beside you.
- 6:20Speaker 3: It's a very slow lift, so people got to see me.
- 6:23Speaker 3: For every single person that went up the lift, which
- 6:25Speaker 3: was right next to me going down, they each got
- 6:28Speaker 3: to see me for all over about nine or ten times.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Just watching old MOYI over and over again.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Just eating, gobbling up shit because it's.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Not it's not like golf for something, where it's such
- 6:40Speaker 2: a small and like, of course you're gonna get rusty
- 6:42Speaker 2: for some reason in my brain, I haven't been snowboarding
- 6:44Speaker 2: in about fifteen years either. Yeah, but in my brain,
- 6:46Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, it'll probably take me like an hour
- 6:47Speaker 2: to get back into Oh.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yeah, no, yeah, it was. It was, yeah, absolutely disgraceful.
- 6:52Speaker 3: So I got to go up for a week. My
- 6:53Speaker 3: brother goes all the time and he's had always takes
- 6:55Speaker 3: them a couple of days to get back into it, right, Okay.
- 6:58Speaker 3: But I told her and he goes, how'd you go?
- 6:59Speaker 3: And I text some my said garbage, answered embarrassment, just
- 7:03Speaker 3: and he was straight on the phone, straight on the phone.
- 7:05Speaker 3: He wanted to hear the misery and moment the misery
- 7:08Speaker 3: in my voice. I said, it went awesome. He wouldn't
- 7:10Speaker 3: have been interested, but yeah, That was a massive letdown.
- 7:14Speaker 3: But I made myself feel better by going to a
- 7:17Speaker 3: restaurant with my wife and having eight thousand martinis responsibly, responsibly,
- 7:21Speaker 3: every single one of them.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Was there a twollion there as well?
- 7:23Speaker 3: I had topped it off. That was the last drink
- 7:25Speaker 3: I had.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Yeah, beautiful, yeah, cherry on top of a beautiful day.
- 7:29Speaker 2: There you go any more birthday? Wished to send him
- 7:31Speaker 2: on through to three four right three for old Mogi.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Get yourself a twoy prize pack. In the meantime, it's
- 7:36Speaker 2: Aerosmiths Sweet Emotion on The Hidaky Big Show, The.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Hurdiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune in
- 7:44Speaker 1: week days at four on Radio Hodaki.
- 7:47Speaker 2: It's twenty five minutes past four on The Hidaky Big
- 7:49Speaker 2: Show with Keezy and Mogi, Hoidy j on holiday this week,
- 7:52Speaker 2: and news flash, Mogi running one heck of a hangover. Fortunately, Mogi,
- 7:57Speaker 2: nothing fixes a hangover like amazing stories about love.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Oh true? Yeah yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Have you ever tried this?
- 8:05Speaker 3: Not specifically for hangovers?
- 8:06Speaker 2: No, it can either be really good or really punish it. Luckily,
- 8:10Speaker 2: our mates at Diamonds on Richmond have come on board
- 8:12Speaker 2: and They've given us a ten thousand dollars engagement ring
- 8:15Speaker 2: to give away to one lucky backbone who's been thinking
- 8:18Speaker 2: about making it official for a while. They also get
- 8:21Speaker 2: us to help pull off the engagement. That's the most
- 8:26Speaker 2: valuable part of this whole prize. Make sure you get
- 8:28Speaker 2: yourself in the drawer. By the way, hodak you dot
- 8:30Speaker 2: co dottings it into there. It wraps up in a
- 8:32Speaker 2: couple of weeks. To get stuck in here is a
- 8:34Speaker 2: great entry because we like to know what your plan is. Yes, look, fellers,
- 8:39Speaker 2: this is from anonymous. Look fellas. I love my girlfriend
- 8:43Speaker 2: more than any radio host could explain. We just bought
- 8:46Speaker 2: a house together in the beautiful hometown of Hoidi j Snosville,
- 8:52Speaker 2: and I know we're at the point of our relationship
- 8:53Speaker 2: where it's time to get down on one knee or
- 8:56Speaker 2: drop a knee.
- 8:57Speaker 3: If you're a weirdo like.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Easy yes and ask the big question. My plan is
- 9:02Speaker 2: take her on a beautiful dog walk. They've obviously got
- 9:05Speaker 2: a dog, I hope, yeah, as we normally do.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Huh. I hope that's not a nickname for her. No.
- 9:13Speaker 2: I think it's like they've got a dog and they're
- 9:15Speaker 2: going a nice walk with their dogs.
- 9:16Speaker 3: We don't know.
- 9:17Speaker 2: We don't know to assume take her on a beautiful
- 9:20Speaker 2: dog walk as we normally do. So pretty normal. But
- 9:24Speaker 2: in the distance we see Hoodi Jan Mogi with a
- 9:27Speaker 2: rabbid dog with a leather collar on. Keezy playing this part.
- 9:32Speaker 2: So I'm nude with a collar on, rabbit foaming at
- 9:35Speaker 2: the mouth. We get closer.
- 9:39Speaker 3: And dog yeah good.
- 9:41Speaker 2: We get closer and Kesey the pooch charges in and
- 9:43Speaker 2: drops a ring from his collar. Then di dooge, will
- 9:46Speaker 2: you marry me? Followed by a bunch of his waves.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Yeah. Let me know, boys, great show. By the way,
- 9:52Speaker 3: that's a huge effort. That's what we want as people
- 9:54Speaker 3: sitting and sort of entries that have got that much effort,
- 9:58Speaker 3: that much thought behind them.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Absolutely, I mean that.
- 10:00Speaker 3: One's not gonna win, oh, is it not? No? I
- 10:02Speaker 3: mean I like the stuff about you being nude you
- 10:05Speaker 3: do and with a dog collar on. That stuff that's good,
- 10:10Speaker 3: But I hate going on walks, right, So that's gonna
- 10:13Speaker 3: work for me.
- 10:13Speaker 2: So you're telling me that all these entries we've got
- 10:15Speaker 2: that even mention a walk your veta. Okay, we'll just
- 10:20Speaker 2: keep these parameters in mind when you're trying to throw
- 10:22Speaker 2: these together. They seem to change every day. But that
- 10:26Speaker 2: ten k diamond engagement.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Ring valued it a million dollars.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Wow, it's backup, back up, because on Friday it was
- 10:32Speaker 2: down to five grand.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Yeah, they made a mistake there, apparently, far But that's
- 10:36Speaker 3: the thing with the diamond market. A.
- 10:38Speaker 2: It's volatile.
- 10:39Speaker 3: It can be volatile.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Roxy and diamonds, Moogi, that's exactly.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Right, rocks and diamonds. Yeah, so it's a it's a
- 10:45Speaker 3: bloody good one to get your hands on. And because
- 10:47Speaker 3: how much did you spend on your ring, Kezy? It
- 10:50Speaker 3: was about fifteen hundred bucks?
- 10:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it was about fifteen hundred bucks all up, including
- 10:55Speaker 2: the ceremony in that Yeah yeah yeah, so ten k
- 10:57Speaker 2: far right, you must really you could have seven weddings
- 11:01Speaker 2: for that. If you're heading into diamonds on Richmond before
- 11:05Speaker 2: the twenty fifth of October, save my wife and they
- 11:08Speaker 2: will pay the GST for you. It's a huge saving
- 11:11Speaker 2: and it's like you're buying it. Judy three, get stuck
- 11:13Speaker 2: in at Hurdaki Dolkota in zed coming up next because
- 11:16Speaker 2: Moggi's hungover. Best of the big Shower.
- 11:19Speaker 1: They Big Show podcast.
- 11:21Speaker 2: God, it's a hell of a tune for twenty one
- 11:23Speaker 2: minutes to five o'clock on a Monday. It is the
- 11:25Speaker 2: Hurdaky Medium show Keezy Mogi here, Big birthday yesterday, feeling
- 11:30Speaker 2: like a million bucks today, So it's a bit of
- 11:32Speaker 2: a birthday treat. And also because they're actually contractually obliged
- 11:35Speaker 2: to have a certain amount of Hoidy J on your show,
- 11:38Speaker 2: Pugs has prepared us a little best of the Big
- 11:40Speaker 2: Show moment. Apparently this is to do with Hoidy J's
- 11:43Speaker 2: origin story and bingo.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I know nothing about that.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I don't remember anything about that. Literally, with the show
- 11:50Speaker 2: you say something a day, lad have you've completely forgotten it.
- 11:53Speaker 3: But let's remember together in New Zealand.
- 11:56Speaker 5: Hey, you tell me what, Mike car I'm pretty excited
- 11:58Speaker 5: to make an announcement. I'm going back to my roots, mate.
- 12:00Speaker 5: I don't know if you know this about me. I
- 12:02Speaker 5: kind of started off my entertainment career as a Bengo
- 12:05Speaker 5: Hall announcer, did you Yeah? Men, So I'm going back
- 12:10Speaker 5: to it. I've been approached by a couple of retirement
- 12:12Speaker 5: villages to come in and do a bit of a
- 12:14Speaker 5: do a bit of a bingo run, and I thought,
- 12:19Speaker 5: why not? You know, they're paying what he well, and
- 12:20Speaker 5: there's some very attractive older woman out there as well.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Just quietly.
- 12:23Speaker 6: I was there when you had that conversation with a
- 12:26Speaker 6: person because we were walking down the street.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Here, we're going to get some lunch Julia today.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I said that person was asking you if
- 12:33Speaker 6: it was time for you to move into the retirement home.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Oh oh, was that what it was?
- 12:36Speaker 3: I think so?
- 12:37Speaker 6: And I think part of the attraction was that they
- 12:39Speaker 6: would let you do the bingo, but I don't think
- 12:41Speaker 6: that was.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Separate.
- 12:43Speaker 5: I think it was so you think they're actually asking
- 12:46Speaker 5: me to go into the retirement village and just as
- 12:48Speaker 5: a sideline.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Did the bin.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:50Speaker 5: What I read that is they knew that I used
- 12:53Speaker 5: to be one of the top bengo announcers going around
- 12:55Speaker 5: and that they wanted me to come in and just
- 12:56Speaker 5: start it up again. And they're all right, well, how
- 13:00Speaker 5: I read it? But what will give me a number?
- 13:01Speaker 3: What is your number?
- 13:03Speaker 5: Sixty nine, sixty nine favorite of mine?
- 13:07Speaker 2: Ninety one sixty nine, as a favorite of yours, ninety one.
- 13:10Speaker 5: Ninety one, There is no ninety one as one to
- 13:12Speaker 5: ninety keys kill on keys, mine, mate, just sort it out.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Keysyn Ladies eighty.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Eight, thirty seven more than eleven? That's true, That is true,
- 13:21Speaker 5: Thank you? What about one hundred and fifty?
- 13:25Speaker 2: But no, be serious please, seventy six seventy six Trombones.
- 13:32Speaker 3: I don't get that one.
- 13:33Speaker 5: Yeah, wow, you would google it, Casey, google it? Sixty
- 13:37Speaker 5: seven pattern sixty seven, sixty seven, Stairway to Heaven?
- 13:40Speaker 3: Sixty eight? Are you one?
- 13:42Speaker 5: Saving Grace?
- 13:43Speaker 3: What about fifty seven?
- 13:45Speaker 5: It's amazing? Actually, you know what. I was amazed by, Mike,
- 13:47Speaker 5: because of course it goes watch one. Were you one
- 13:49Speaker 5: in keys?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Fifty seven?
- 13:50Speaker 5: Fifty seven? Heinz varieties?
- 13:53Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 13:56Speaker 5: It all came back to me because there's a lot
- 13:57Speaker 5: to remember. It does go from one to nine. So
- 14:01Speaker 5: if there's people listening out there that want me to
- 14:03Speaker 5: run a bingo game for them, now just let me know.
- 14:05Speaker 5: I do charge a little bit of top dollar. Yeah,
- 14:08Speaker 5: but I am one of quality announcers.
- 14:10Speaker 6: Thirteen pattern thirteen thirteen, I'm lucky for sah.
- 14:14Speaker 3: What about thirty eight thirty eight? Keezy?
- 14:17Speaker 5: I knew that you were going to say thirty eight,
- 14:19Speaker 5: your mad bastard Christmas Cake.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I don't get that either.
- 14:23Speaker 5: One you ate Christmas cake one pattern?
- 14:28Speaker 4: What was that?
- 14:29Speaker 5: Monogi?
- 14:29Speaker 3: One one? Kelly's eye?
- 14:31Speaker 5: Come on, you can't catch me out with that sort
- 14:33Speaker 5: of nonsense. So yeah, looking forward to it, you know
- 14:37Speaker 5: what I mean, man, it's it's good to go back
- 14:39Speaker 5: to your roots. Some three pattern three three three.
- 14:43Speaker 3: A tea bingo?
- 14:47Speaker 5: Yeah, ah, beer cap or something. Hey, sharks can is
- 14:54Speaker 5: your Assortmnogi out with the prize with a Bengo b.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Date with Dorris.
- 14:59Speaker 5: That'll be great. Actually, if you guys want to come along.
- 15:02Speaker 5: It's a bloody good night out there.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Oh busy.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I didn't realize this. Pugs has actually dated all these
- 15:09Speaker 2: best of clips as well. That is from May twenty
- 15:12Speaker 2: twenty two. Wow, amazing, Wow, referencing our old producers.
- 15:15Speaker 5: Shucks.
- 15:15Speaker 3: I couldn't remember it at all. And I'm not sure
- 15:18Speaker 3: about the the Hoidy J. Origin story. I don't really
- 15:21Speaker 3: get where that came in.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Well, no neither, but I get the bingo part.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, I sort of made itself clear pretty quick.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Because Hoidy J. Origin story, I was like, Wow, what's
- 15:31Speaker 3: this going to be?
- 15:32Speaker 2: But he's got about a thousand origin stories, so it's
- 15:34Speaker 2: hard to tell.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Ah, is this the full Ink album version?
- 15:41Speaker 2: Got to hope, So it'd be nice just to kick
- 15:44Speaker 2: back for eight or so minutes and listen to Prince
- 15:47Speaker 2: Purple Rain on The Hudaky Big Show, The.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Kesey Audio Slave on The Hidharky Big Show, It's almost
- 15:57Speaker 2: five o'clock with Kezy and Mogi Hoidy j on holiday
- 16:00Speaker 2: and yesterday it was actually Moggie's birthday. How old, by
- 16:03Speaker 2: the way, forty eight? Forty eight, which is quite good
- 16:06Speaker 2: because I've been forty eight all year.
- 16:07Speaker 3: In my head, I thought it was already forty eight, right,
- 16:09Speaker 3: And it was only about a month ago that I realized,
- 16:11Speaker 3: Oh no, I'm only forty seven.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Your wife forty eight? Yeah, okay, and so sweet. It's
- 16:16Speaker 2: like you've got a three year, three year man. Bloody
- 16:18Speaker 2: good heaps the tears coming through on three four eight three.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Happy birthday, Mike, Oh that's goodie. How old were you
- 16:24Speaker 2: twenty one?
- 16:26Speaker 6: Dog?
- 16:27Speaker 3: Yeah? Boney old seca shit.
- 16:28Speaker 2: That's good stuff. Hey, Mike, happy birthday. How's the weather
- 16:32Speaker 2: on your birthday? From Sofia, aged thirteen. From Raglan Sophia
- 16:35Speaker 2: your mad dog.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Hey, pretty good, actually pretty good. A little bit cold
- 16:41Speaker 3: out there, it's got a cold breeze out there, Kizy.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Yeah right, yeah, so thanks for that, Sophia.
- 16:45Speaker 2: We've also got a talk back come through from Dennis.
- 16:47Speaker 2: You can send them on the iHeartRadio app. Just hit
- 16:49Speaker 2: the little microphone icon there while you're listening to the show.
- 16:52Speaker 2: It's from Dennis.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Happy birthday to you, Hay birthday.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Do you happy birthday?
- 16:59Speaker 3: Damn mog you beautiful?
- 17:05Speaker 2: That's good stuff. Worth coming to work just to hear stuff.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm trying to think if anybody did sing. My
- 17:10Speaker 3: mother sang me happy birthday, Marge. Yeah, it's nice. She
- 17:13Speaker 3: always does that on your phone. Yeah yeah.
- 17:15Speaker 2: And then while you're waiting for her to do that, what.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Do you While I'm waiting for her to what.
- 17:20Speaker 2: To sing there, You're like, no, I like it because.
- 17:25Speaker 3: When people singing happy Birthday, especially when it's when they're
- 17:28Speaker 3: by themselves, they definitely start speeding a lap because once
- 17:31Speaker 3: you get into heavy birthday, you realize it's not a
- 17:33Speaker 3: great song and people don't really like singing it and
- 17:35Speaker 3: they don't really like hearing it, right, Okay, And so
- 17:37Speaker 3: she sort of belt two way through it and it
- 17:41Speaker 3: makes me laugh every time, and she gives me a
- 17:43Speaker 3: few hip hop parades.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I think, get on your marge, keep it going. How
- 17:48Speaker 2: are you coming up after five? Apparently you've got some
- 17:50Speaker 2: amazing new content for good content.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I've got some new stuff. I just I'll be
- 17:54Speaker 3: honest with you, Keezy man, I'm not really feeling it today,
- 17:56Speaker 3: and anything I can do to get through it and
- 17:58Speaker 3: just get to the end of it with as little
- 18:00Speaker 3: effort on my part as possible, That's what I'll be doing.
- 18:02Speaker 3: So I've got a couple of ideas that could be
- 18:05Speaker 3: regardless theft, but.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Yep, great. We've also got some brand some breaking news
- 18:10Speaker 2: about a brand new trip we will be giving away
- 18:13Speaker 2: involving us heading down south with a couple of listeners
- 18:16Speaker 2: as we us and make sure you stay tuned.
- 18:20Speaker 1: The hold Aking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold I Can.
- 18:26Speaker 2: It is the Big Show. It is also Monday, the
- 18:28Speaker 2: fourteenth of October, two minutes past five. Keezy and Mogie
- 18:32Speaker 2: Hoy Jay on holiday this week. Yep, I much needed
- 18:35Speaker 2: week off. Yeah, Moggie running on how many cylinders out
- 18:38Speaker 2: of eight.
- 18:41Speaker 3: I don't really know, kaz Keezy, but if eight's good,
- 18:44Speaker 3: then it's probably half that, probably probably two two cylinders. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:50Speaker 3: I'm not too bad, but I mean I'd rather be
- 18:52Speaker 3: at home, to be honest with you. Yeah, I mean
- 18:53Speaker 3: I love helping people out on their drive home and
- 18:55Speaker 3: all that sort of stuff. Yeah, but when I'm hungover,
- 18:57Speaker 3: all up then on the couch.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, birthday use today, packed it and responsibly at
- 19:02Speaker 2: four am and then pretty much flew up to Auckland
- 19:05Speaker 2: and came to work looking like a million dollars. But
- 19:08Speaker 2: at least when he arrived here, old pugsn came in
- 19:10Speaker 2: with some desiccated chicken with a little candle in it,
- 19:13Speaker 2: and then he ate it, and then he gave a cake.
- 19:16Speaker 2: It looked like you were going to throw up looking
- 19:17Speaker 2: at it.
- 19:18Speaker 3: It was. It was I don't think there's ever been
- 19:22Speaker 3: a cake like at Pug's. Put it that way, brother,
- 19:24Speaker 3: Well done man.
- 19:25Speaker 2: So good delicious stuff. Of course, the big show is
- 19:27Speaker 2: brought to you by Tiwey.
- 19:29Speaker 3: If that chicken knew that it was going to be cooked,
- 19:32Speaker 3: have its flesh cut off, put on a plate, and
- 19:36Speaker 3: then have a candle gem and it to be a
- 19:38Speaker 3: birthday cake for old Mogi. How good that chicken would
- 19:41Speaker 3: be so proud?
- 19:42Speaker 2: Eh, I reckon it would be stoked, thrilled. Ye're right.
- 19:48Speaker 2: The show sponsored Towey The Year Right campaign is back.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Keep an eye up for the all new Billbirds, Billbirds.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Oh god, billboards, our kesies pested off his head. I'm sorry, but.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Well to me fair, I do have the second day
- 20:01Speaker 2: of a hangover going to my brain is so I
- 20:03Speaker 2: called Prince audioce Lave just before Oh yeah yeah, which
- 20:05Speaker 2: is a pretty easy yeah, very very similar stuff coming
- 20:10Speaker 2: up next, though, Mogie's got some revolutionary new content designed
- 20:14Speaker 2: to really inject some life into the show in the meantime.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Three four eight three New Zealand. Any birthday wishes there
- 20:19Speaker 2: anything like that, how's the weather where you? What's the time?
- 20:22Speaker 3: New Zealand?
- 20:23Speaker 2: All that stuff? Send it on three yourself and the
- 20:24Speaker 2: drawer for a toy price pack. Here's the Actic Monkeys the.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Hodarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisy.
- 20:32Speaker 2: It is sublime on the hid Archy Big Show name
- 20:34Speaker 2: and it's past five Just Keysy and Moggi Hoidy j
- 20:36Speaker 2: on holiday and Megi, I understand you have some groundbreaking content.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Yeah, man, I just wanted to try something a little
- 20:42Speaker 3: bit different and get some things over the line. You know,
- 20:45Speaker 3: Jay's gonna have to be quite hard to get things passed.
- 20:47Speaker 3: So I thought we could try this while while he's
- 20:49Speaker 3: not here, and this is I think it's I think
- 20:53Speaker 3: it's going to work. I think it'll be good.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Right, Okay, do you want me to play?
- 20:56Speaker 3: Just play that thing thing I sent you.
- 21:03Speaker 2: This sounds super familiar. That sounds really.
- 21:13Speaker 3: The four Pillars of Queenstown.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Okay, how are we just directly stealing this off the
- 21:20Speaker 2: Breakfast Show, the former Breakfast Show, the four Pillars of
- 21:22Speaker 2: Quick So what are you gonna We're gonna get people to
- 21:24Speaker 2: text in with four things.
- 21:25Speaker 3: That well, they don't know because they went there. Okay,
- 21:28Speaker 3: so I've just I'll tell you what the pillars are.
- 21:30Speaker 2: All right, Okay, so we're stealing the idea and hang on, okay,
- 21:35Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 21:36Speaker 3: They're not using it anymore. Yeah, so it seems silly
- 21:39Speaker 3: to waste it. Yeah, okay, because you do that sting again?
- 21:43Speaker 3: What the third thinging? And the other one the first one?
- 21:48Speaker 3: The truth?
- 21:52Speaker 2: It's really mimed. I have to do it.
- 21:54Speaker 3: It's good, it's iconic. Yeah, you don't want to play
- 22:05Speaker 3: so you want you want to keep using that, you
- 22:07Speaker 3: keep that. So I've got my my four pillars. My
- 22:12Speaker 3: first pillar is because I was just down there on
- 22:15Speaker 3: the weekend. Kids. I don't enough, I told you, Yeah, yeah,
- 22:19Speaker 3: with my wife and my kid there and everything like that. Beautiful,
- 22:22Speaker 3: really nice, the first pillar. Not many people get down there,
- 22:27Speaker 3: and I recommend it. It's a great place. Beautiful scenery
- 22:30Speaker 3: would be pillar number one, right, A really beautiful scenery
- 22:37Speaker 3: in there.
- 22:37Speaker 2: You've got mountains, yeah, they're remarkables.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Well they're pretty good, remarkable. But then there's the laker
- 22:45Speaker 3: as well down the bottom, and that's got heaps of
- 22:49Speaker 3: water in it. You know, you could put the you
- 22:51Speaker 3: could put the sky tower in it. What do you
- 22:54Speaker 3: mean you could put the sky tower in it? What
- 22:57Speaker 3: was what one of the locals put the sky tower.
- 23:00Speaker 3: I don't know how you do that, but yeah, but
- 23:02Speaker 3: you could though. So yeah, it's really beautiful. So if
- 23:04Speaker 3: you haven't been before, get down there. It's beautiful.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Okay, So pretty scenery, no, beautiful scenery. Beautiful do you
- 23:12Speaker 2: want us to say like text and three four three
- 23:14Speaker 2: any suggestions or just keep the soul.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Okay. We don't have time, okay, because I've got to
- 23:18Speaker 3: get I've gotta get home and get on the catch.
- 23:22Speaker 3: The second pillar adventure tourism.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Right, they've got all.
- 23:27Speaker 3: The stuff down there, and you won't know this, keezy,
- 23:29Speaker 3: but they've got like bungee jumping. Yeah, they've got like
- 23:34Speaker 3: jet boating, whitewater rafting. Wow, they've got the ras that
- 23:39Speaker 3: goes through the lake there and it sort of goes.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Under the water submergers. Is it a dolphin looking one, Yeah,
- 23:45Speaker 2: kind of like.
- 23:45Speaker 3: A dolphin one, more like a sting ray.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Really, I must be talking about something completely different.
- 23:52Speaker 3: The third pillar Otago Pino Noir.
- 24:00Speaker 2: It's wine country down there, yeah, central and they.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Have Central Otago wines and they're really really good, renowned
- 24:11Speaker 3: the world over actually for being bloody good. So if
- 24:13Speaker 3: you go down there, you've got to you've got to
- 24:15Speaker 3: hang out the back of a few peen onori.
- 24:18Speaker 2: And if you've just joined us, by the way, Mogi's
- 24:20Speaker 2: doing the four Pillars of Queenstown, don't text in. He's
- 24:22Speaker 2: doing them all right, And actually don't.
- 24:25Speaker 3: I don't want your opinion on them either, because you'll
- 24:27Speaker 3: clog up the old text machine.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Yeah, machines, So just stay away from three four eight three.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Final pillar.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Final pillar is my massive hangover, right, It's pretty specific
- 24:39Speaker 3: to me. Yeah, but I think everybody that goes to
- 24:41Speaker 3: Queenstown would probably have a mess, a massive hangover. There
- 24:45Speaker 3: was also like some some people that were unlucky to
- 24:50Speaker 3: miss out. Some other potential pillars was all the hippies
- 24:53Speaker 3: that are down there. Yeah, okay, all the rope heads
- 24:55Speaker 3: we call.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Them blonde hair and dreads yeah.
- 24:57Speaker 3: And dreads and sort of like happy pants and stuff that,
- 25:00Speaker 3: which was good. Yeah, it's a hell of it. You
- 25:03Speaker 3: should get down there, man.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I've been down their heaps. Yeah, when I think I
- 25:07Speaker 2: went last year.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Yeah, ages ago. It's changed heaps since last year.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Has it?
- 25:11Speaker 3: Yeah? Bigy?
- 25:14Speaker 2: Well, hey, well done on your new segment.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Man.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I was pretty excited to do that.
- 25:17Speaker 3: What thunder one?
- 25:18Speaker 2: But I've started the thunder Okay, so good Mogi. Here's
- 25:24Speaker 2: the Breed cannon Ball. Four Pillars of How to Be
- 25:28Speaker 2: Hungover and Do Radio.
- 25:29Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 25:33Speaker 3: And Kisy the Exponent's Victoria.
- 25:35Speaker 2: It is twenty minutes past five this Monday, you got
- 25:38Speaker 2: Mogi and Keezy here Hoodie j got the week off
- 25:40Speaker 2: and don't forget the Hodarky gig. A little fund is
- 25:43Speaker 2: back things, so I mates it super Liquor. At any
- 25:45Speaker 2: point on Hodarky you can hear the roar of the encore.
- 25:48Speaker 2: If you hear it, call us an eight hundred Hodarky
- 25:50Speaker 2: and we could put five hundred dollars towards your next gig.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Cheers to super Liquor, Mogi. Something happened to me on
- 25:58Speaker 2: Friday night with my wife which has never happened in
- 26:01Speaker 2: our relationship. Sure, we've been together for thirteen years. Quite
- 26:06Speaker 2: often on a Friday or a Saturday, or a Sunday
- 26:09Speaker 2: or Monday through Thursday as well, there is a chance
- 26:13Speaker 2: that old Kezy will come home a few sheets to
- 26:16Speaker 2: the wind, you know what I mean? Steamed, yeah, yeah,
- 26:21Speaker 2: yeah yeah. And Friday night, I got to text from
- 26:25Speaker 2: my wife at four o'clock, how are you going out
- 26:26Speaker 2: to Just going to go have some oysters in wine
- 26:29Speaker 2: with my girlfriends? Yeah, it's like cool, no worries. Let
- 26:31Speaker 2: me know if you want a lot of time later,
- 26:33Speaker 2: get some brownie points. Ten o'clock, get a phone call. Hey,
- 26:35Speaker 2: you should come join us. We're at this spot, come down, okay.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Came she to invite you earlier on because apparently one
- 26:42Speaker 2: of the other girls invited one of their boy boyfriends
- 26:44Speaker 2: down right, and so now it was like, oh the
- 26:46Speaker 2: boyfriend's yeah yeah, And so she wanted me to come
- 26:50Speaker 2: to She obviously wanted to show me after it.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Oh yeah, sure, because he's proud.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I guess that's it. She was steamed. Oh yeah,
- 26:58Speaker 2: like the most steam I've ever.
- 26:59Speaker 3: So she wanted you to go down there and show
- 27:00Speaker 3: you off.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Yeah responsibly, of course. And the way our relationship works
- 27:07Speaker 2: is she doesn't get steamed, right, I get steamed, yeah, responsibly,
- 27:11Speaker 2: and she deals with it. And so tonight So Friday
- 27:15Speaker 2: night was the first time where and it was great.
- 27:18Speaker 2: I was stoked. Yeah, I was like, this whole new
- 27:20Speaker 2: side of my wife I've never seen before. She was
- 27:22Speaker 2: an absolute useless piece of all day.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Credit was she doing? Like when she got home, So
- 27:29Speaker 3: she's singing the old.
- 27:31Speaker 2: No singing Englebert humperedink like I do when I'm steamed. Responsibly,
- 27:38Speaker 2: She first of all refused to hop out of the car.
- 27:40Speaker 2: She's like, I'm gonna sleep in the car because she
- 27:42Speaker 2: was just naked, and so I had to lift her
- 27:44Speaker 2: out of the car. She then screamed as like get
- 27:47Speaker 2: off me, like I was assaulting her good, really loudly,
- 27:50Speaker 2: like this is like one am.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Wow.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Yeah, so you know, we managed to last quite long,
- 27:55Speaker 2: which is quite cool. Got her up to the front door.
- 27:57Speaker 2: While I'm unlocking the door, she sits down on the
- 27:59Speaker 2: ground and sees she sleeping outside. I finally left her
- 28:02Speaker 2: up again. Get it into the area where you take
- 28:04Speaker 2: your shoes off. She sits down, she's sleeping there. Get
- 28:06Speaker 2: her inside, unlocking all these doors and doing all this
- 28:09Speaker 2: admin take it through, put her in the bathroom and
- 28:11Speaker 2: just say have a shower. I'm going to bed. She
- 28:14Speaker 2: I just heard nothing for like ten minutes. And I
- 28:16Speaker 2: go in there.
- 28:16Speaker 3: She's just asleep on the floor of the bathroom.
- 28:19Speaker 2: And then eventually, after about an hour of battling, she
- 28:23Speaker 2: showered up. She's in bed, she's had water. I got
- 28:25Speaker 2: her some McDonald's on the way home. Yeah, and she's
- 28:28Speaker 2: in bed. And then all day Saturday, she's completely useless. Yes,
- 28:31Speaker 2: never has that ever happened to me in this relation.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Wow?
- 28:34Speaker 2: Interesting right, Yeah, And I feel like a power has
- 28:36Speaker 2: shifted because now I'm the one who didn't play up
- 28:40Speaker 2: over the weekend. Yeah, I mean I did on Saturday night. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:44Speaker 2: boy did I. But you know, for a brief twenty
- 28:47Speaker 2: four hours there it was like I can lord it
- 28:49Speaker 2: and I got.
- 28:50Speaker 3: To experience what that's like.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Yeah, can you relate to this at all?
- 28:55Speaker 3: No?
- 28:56Speaker 1: No, The hold Ikey Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike
- 29:01Speaker 1: Minogue and Kissy.

- 29:08Speaker 2: Old Hoidy J having a week off and Mogi, I've
- 29:11Speaker 2: got some breaking news and then.
- 29:13Speaker 3: This is breaking news.
- 29:17Speaker 2: It sharers breaking news. How would you New Zealand like
- 29:21Speaker 2: to wint? A trip to the Wild Food Festival with
- 29:24Speaker 2: the Hadarky Big Show sounds like a hell of a
- 29:27Speaker 2: prize myself, Mogi, Hoidy J and Pugsan heading down to
- 29:31Speaker 2: the beautiful West Coast the Wild Foods Festival and Hokitika
- 29:36Speaker 2: the eighth of March twenty twenty five. You can join
- 29:38Speaker 2: us with some good eating on the coast, Moogi, how good?
- 29:40Speaker 3: I've never been down there for that?
- 29:41Speaker 2: How adventurous are you? With your food.
- 29:44Speaker 3: I don't know if you do. You need to be
- 29:46Speaker 3: adventurous with food. I just sort of feel like back
- 29:48Speaker 3: in the day you needed to be adventurous when there
- 29:50Speaker 3: was a scarcity of it. I don't know.
- 29:52Speaker 2: I'm not adventure I'm not either. I'm like chicken lamb
- 29:55Speaker 2: pork beef.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean I've eaten chicken's feet before, right, sucked
- 30:00Speaker 3: on its toes, chick chicken or a chick chicken, Okay,
- 30:05Speaker 3: and that wasn't that good. But I gave it a go,
- 30:08Speaker 3: and I'll try other things. But I know that they
- 30:11Speaker 3: do what do they do? They do oysters and stuff
- 30:13Speaker 3: like that, which is yeah, the balls.
- 30:16Speaker 2: There's a lot of ball focused stuff, yeah, which, to
- 30:20Speaker 2: be honest, I'm surprised you're not into balls.
- 30:24Speaker 3: You want me to be into balls?

- 33:14Speaker 3: is ordering up some Indian for dinner. Oh yeah, so
- 33:18Speaker 3: I'll be rolling into that, and I'm pretty excited about it,
- 33:21Speaker 3: to be honest with you, I mean, I just considering
- 33:24Speaker 3: that I went to be at four o'clock this morning,
- 33:28Speaker 3: I'm in pretty good, Nick. I think I don't feel
- 33:32Speaker 3: like I don't feel terrible. I'm tired because I had amazingly.
- 33:36Speaker 3: My daughter slept till eight o'clock. Normally she gets up
- 33:39Speaker 3: at sex. Now I would be in a hell of
- 33:42Speaker 3: a state. Yeah, if that had happen. But yeah, I
- 33:44Speaker 3: got so I got four hour sleep. Mate, I'm brand
- 33:46Speaker 3: You've got an hour sleep on the plane, another couple
- 33:48Speaker 3: of hours when I got home.

- 33:57Speaker 2: is very exciting. The Outro podcast Outro we still did
- 34:00Speaker 2: one today. Old Pugs Aren't came through from Studio beat
- 34:03Speaker 2: A Studio A and we did a her of a podcast.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Here's a week clip. It comes out at seven thirty tonight.
- 34:08Speaker 2: And this is regarding Mogie spending the entire night last
- 34:11Speaker 2: night with his wife having frivolities.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Partying. Her brother came over, my brother in law, and
- 34:22Speaker 3: he left it about eleven or twelve, and the next thing,
- 34:25Speaker 3: it was four o'clock in the morning. I don't know
- 34:27Speaker 3: how that happened.
- 34:29Speaker 2: They're so great.
- 34:30Speaker 3: What do I have to do?
- 34:30Speaker 2: Like, why won't my missus get on the person me?
- 34:33Speaker 3: Are you a wounder when you have it?
- 34:35Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 34:38Speaker 2: Yeah, So that is something that's never actually happened to
- 34:42Speaker 2: me for some reason.
- 34:42Speaker 3: That I find an amazing name. I wonder what the
- 34:45Speaker 3: go is with people out there. We maybe we'll talk
- 34:48Speaker 3: about this a little bit on tomorrow show, but I wonder,
- 34:51Speaker 3: I know, maybe it is a fifty to fifty splat.
- 34:53Speaker 3: I just assumed everybody did.
- 34:55Speaker 2: The thing I never want to do is like pepperish,
- 34:57Speaker 2: come on whatever, I'm never gonna do that because I
- 35:01Speaker 2: know she doesn't like being hungover. That's what stops here, right,
- 35:04Speaker 2: So it has to be a really special occasion, and
- 35:06Speaker 2: just hanging out with me.
- 35:07Speaker 3: It's not a special on that occasion.
- 35:09Speaker 2: It's definitely not sir, Yeah, it's one of it.
- 35:10Speaker 3: We love. It's one of those things that just always
- 35:12Speaker 3: ends up just happening and all of a sudden. Yeah,
- 35:15Speaker 3: it's all on drinking and talking for hours, which is
- 35:18Speaker 3: great good, which is so awesome good stuff.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Up next, we've got another best of the Big Show moment,
- 35:23Speaker 2: this and time involving Hoidy Jane. Another strange encounter from
- 35:27Speaker 2: twenty twenty two. In the meantime, Hey Boy, Hey Girl's
- 35:30Speaker 2: the Chemical Brothers on the Big Show, The.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Whole Aky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and
- 35:36Speaker 1: Keys Green Day basket Case.
- 35:38Speaker 2: It's the Hurdacky Big Show with Kezy and Mogi resident
- 35:41Speaker 2: basket Case. Hoidy Jay's on holiday, but we do. We're
- 35:44Speaker 2: contractually obliged to feature him on our show. So we've
- 35:47Speaker 2: got another best of the Big Show moment, this time
- 35:49Speaker 2: from July twenty two. Mogi twenty twenty two. Any memories
- 35:53Speaker 2: from that particular year.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Not at all, Not at all. I'm sure there was
- 35:57Speaker 3: some COVID around.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Them was here, I think just maybe the back end
- 35:59Speaker 2: of it. It might have been the Auckland lockdown that year.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I can't remember. I've got no idea. All I know
- 36:05Speaker 2: is that Hoidy J had one of his many random
- 36:07Speaker 2: encounters on the way to work. Here's a clip.
- 36:10Speaker 5: I feel a bit bad, actually, mate. It's coming in
- 36:12Speaker 5: there from the old sky City today. And as you
- 36:15Speaker 5: can turn outside, she's windy and gusty and blowy out there.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:20Speaker 5: And I was standing at the lights there, you know,
- 36:22Speaker 5: with my umbrella. Bloody thing blew out because it was
- 36:26Speaker 5: so gusty. There was a woman standing next to me.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Took her left eye clean out of the socket, really
- 36:32Speaker 5: like scooped it out, why, screaming her head off.
- 36:35Speaker 3: Oh god, you know.
- 36:37Speaker 5: And what really pisses me off about it is that
- 36:39Speaker 5: it only just bought the umbrella. Yeah you know what
- 36:41Speaker 5: I mean.
- 36:42Speaker 2: I'm sorry she wants.
- 36:44Speaker 3: You know.
- 36:45Speaker 5: And the guy that I bought it from, that the
- 36:47Speaker 5: store that I bought it from me said oh yeah, people,
- 36:49Speaker 5: you've got to buy a quality umbrella otherwise, you know,
- 36:53Speaker 5: you'll get that situation there. I am the first time
- 36:55Speaker 5: I'm using it. Boom for the damn thing's destroyed. That's sixteen.
- 36:59Speaker 5: But out of my bloody bank account that I'm not
- 37:01Speaker 5: getting back.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Is it.
- 37:02Speaker 6: I do find, particularly in Auckland, when eve there's any
- 37:05Speaker 6: kind of wind up here.
- 37:06Speaker 5: The umbrellas don't respond. I think they don't.
- 37:08Speaker 6: People buy it for a city which is buy and large,
- 37:11Speaker 6: it's pretty wind free. Yes, more as if you're in Wellington,
- 37:15Speaker 6: where you generally don't bother you buy something I have
- 37:17Speaker 6: at studio, But you know I will say buy be
- 37:19Speaker 6: will you mate? I mean, that's just that's something you're
- 37:21Speaker 6: just going to have to take on the chin really
- 37:23Speaker 6: and in just learn for next time.
- 37:25Speaker 5: Oh yeah, well this is you know, as I said,
- 37:27Speaker 5: this is why I'm so annoyed about it, because he
- 37:28Speaker 5: said it was quite a reinforced little beast. Yeah, and
- 37:31Speaker 5: he said, you won't be going wrong with that sixteen bucks,
- 37:33Speaker 5: you know, a bit more than i'd normally pay for umbrella,
- 37:36Speaker 5: you know. And in fairness, the spokes were sturdy as buggery.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Yeah, they were pretty good.
- 37:42Speaker 5: I think it was maybe just a sort of lining
- 37:44Speaker 5: because when it took her eye out, I mean it
- 37:46Speaker 5: took it clean out.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Did it stick at the eyeballs at stuck.
- 37:49Speaker 5: On the eading it was on the end of it,
- 37:51Speaker 5: you know what I mean?
- 37:52Speaker 3: And would it looked quite funny?
- 37:53Speaker 5: Yeah, well it did look quite funny actually, But I
- 37:56Speaker 5: just biffed the entire thing in the end. I mean,
- 37:58Speaker 5: I'm not walking around with a broken bloody umbrella.
- 38:00Speaker 2: And you know, I'm sorry, But so what happened to her?
- 38:02Speaker 2: Did you call an ambulance? Is she going to be okay?
- 38:05Speaker 2: Can they reinsert an eye?
- 38:06Speaker 5: Well? No, it's in the bind now you through.
- 38:08Speaker 2: The eye in the bin?
- 38:09Speaker 3: Well, it was on my buddy umbrella.
- 38:11Speaker 5: There was no good to me the umbrella.
- 38:12Speaker 3: It was blown out.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Keep Can they have reattached it or something?
- 38:15Speaker 6: Wow?
- 38:16Speaker 5: Mate, As I say, it was pretty pretty cleanly scooped
- 38:20Speaker 5: out of there, So no, I don't think so.
- 38:22Speaker 3: How old had to say? You don't?
- 38:24Speaker 5: And you know when I chucked it in the old
- 38:26Speaker 5: ben there there was all sorts of shit in the bend.
- 38:28Speaker 2: You checked the eye first, you know, Well, yeah.
- 38:30Speaker 5: It was pretty grody to look at, you know, because
- 38:32Speaker 5: it's got that stem thing going on. Yeah, And I
- 38:35Speaker 5: don't think you'll be plucking that out of the old
- 38:37Speaker 5: out of the old bend there. You don't want to
- 38:39Speaker 5: be shoving that back in the.
- 38:40Speaker 3: How old is she?
- 38:41Speaker 2: Is she going to be okay?
- 38:42Speaker 3: I'm no idea. I didn't ask her her age. I
- 38:44Speaker 3: was late for work, You've got no idea.
- 38:45Speaker 5: How do you think she's feeling.
- 38:50Speaker 2: So good even two years later? On The Hducky Big Show.
- 38:54Speaker 2: And don't forget by the way, if you want to
- 38:55Speaker 2: go back and listen to old stuff, you can listen

- 39:09Speaker 2: grab them.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Ba Well, they're only going to be there until we
- 39:12Speaker 3: get the ass and then they just delete them all.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Really yeah?
- 39:15Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, So how you think about other shows that
- 39:17Speaker 3: have sort of happened in our slot? They're gone there.

- 40:40Speaker 3: He doesn't know what to do, right and look, it
- 40:45Speaker 3: doesn't end well. M spoiler alert he killed her. Oh wow,
- 40:51Speaker 3: which is always the way, isn't it. And because it

- 40:57Speaker 3: in another town and he's like, I might have hear instead, Yeah.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Anyway, better ways to go about that.
- 41:05Speaker 3: He didn't do a great job of it to be feudal,
- 41:07Speaker 3: and his family still believe he's innocent, and the amount
- 41:10Speaker 3: of evidence that would point to the opposite, as unbelievable.
- 41:14Speaker 2: And has he been pinged for it?
- 41:16Speaker 3: It's good but yeah, just a good true crime and
- 41:21Speaker 3: they don't spread out, not enough information over too many episodes.
- 41:25Speaker 3: Most hated thing, but yeah, give it a crack ups
- 41:27Speaker 3: on Netflix. There you go hang over.

- 41:59Speaker 3: to play on tomorrow's podcast.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Now, let's not make a big deal out of it.
- 42:05Speaker 2: I watched greend Designs to New Zealand, just like as
- 42:09Speaker 2: a home up in the hills of Queenstown, split between
- 42:11Speaker 2: six couples and the cool Yeah, it cost six million
- 42:15Speaker 2: dollars to build it. However, they are only allowed in
- 42:17Speaker 2: it eight weeks per year, and I'm like, if I'm
- 42:20Speaker 2: dropping that much, you know a mill each, I want
- 42:22Speaker 2: to be. And then I watched Country Calendar.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Sounds like a big lineup of viewing.

- 42:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:48Speaker 4: Yeah, beautiful movie, very, very very tough to watch. The
- 42:52Speaker 4: parts Timothy. Fantastic actor. Steve, he was good. It was
- 42:57Speaker 4: nice seeing him get into some real emotion, all real
