Van Sickle Bi-State Park is undergoing major upgrades—here’s what you need to know: The Nevada side’s main road is closed past the California day-use area, shutting down access to the state line monument, Nevada day-use, and Nevada parking lot. California side access remains open via the day-use entrance to the Tahoe Rim Trail. All Nevada-side trails west of Vista Spur Viewpoint are closed, and you can’t connect Nevada to the Tahoe Rim Trail during construction.
