worldwidesportsradio.com. Thank you to Adam Kilmerman,
• 1:01
He's been great. He always is great.
• 1:03
Gives us some great take on the NHL, what we expect when it
• 1:07
comes to the playoffs. Some of the players that we
• 1:09
talked about, Matthew Schaefer, nothing but high praise from him
• 1:14
and he stuck up for Chris Drury. I don't get it.
• 1:18
He must have some kind of bargaining agreement with the
• 1:21
New York Rangers because he made sure to say that the Rangers are
• 1:24
not far off. They can actually be a playoff
• 1:27
team next year if they make one or two really good moves in the
• 1:30
offseason. Or maybe one of these young guys
• 1:32
like Green Tree or whatever the hell his name is.
• 1:34
It turns out to be a star player as he was a top prospect for the
• 1:38
LA Kings. I didn't even know who he was.
• 1:40
So I just hope for the Rangers sake he turns into better, a
• 1:45
better player than a lot of people think.
• 1:47
As a Ranger, you, you would hope he was a top six type of player,
• 1:52
not a top prospect who honestly, I didn't even hear that he was
• 1:56
one of their top. He was their number 1 prospect.
• 1:58
I didn't hear that. I heard he was like maybe a the
• 2:01
6th or 7th best prospect from the La La Kings.
• 2:05
But, and I, I did not know Gabe Perot is is Yannick Perot's son.
• 2:11
I had no idea Yannick Perot I used to root for I, I watched
• 2:15
him play from Montreal. The Canadians had no idea, but I
• 2:19
knew he was from Corbett. So when he said he was American,
• 2:22
I said he might have might have lived in America most of his
• 2:26
life. But he is a Canadian born
• 2:27
player. So I probably has a better
• 2:30
opportunity playing for Team USA Hockey.
• 2:32
That's just my opinion with all the talent that they have.
• 2:34
Anyways, we call this. Let's parlay parlay.
• 2:46
  It's time for all. Right.
• 2:50
So I was standing, I had to sit a little bit.
• 2:53
My feet are killing me. I, I mean it for for 2 1/2 hours
• 2:57
  standing for a show, that's a lot.
• 2:59
But I, it's definitely a first time to ever do that.
• 3:02
I'll do that for some of the shows, but my camera is a little
• 3:06
slow tonight where I got a new computer coming over the next
• 3:10
couple of days and we'll be ready to roll for Monday's show.
• 3:14
But we got 2 very special guests.
• 3:17
One guy that doesn't need an applause because his son called
• 3:20
me Grandpa Reno, Johnny and worldwide W another.
• 3:26
Another dad well his son never called me grandpa so I love his
• 3:30
son a little bit more. Well his son hasn't seen me that
• 3:36
much but I that was crazy. Here is that grandpa?
• 3:39
I was like, what the hell? We Yeah, man.
• 3:42
He talks to Grandpa, Grandpa, grandma a lot.
• 3:45
When they're they live in town, they see him.
• 3:48
He just assumed everybody would talk to you on the computer or
• 3:50
phone is grandma or Grandpa. That's it.
• 3:52
All right. I'm not going to blame your son
• 3:54
for that. You probably thought you were
• 3:55
talking to your dad, but I, when I look at myself, my girlfriend
• 3:59
was listening to that take and she's like, grandpa, That was
• 4:02
the first time I've heard that. But hey, listen, I, I, I guess
• 4:05
I'm, I'm getting up there in age.
• 4:07
I'm old. I mean, I'm the same age as Wes.
• 4:10
Me and Wes are like, I think Wes is like a year older than me.
• 4:13
We're we're getting up there in age.
• 4:14
We're getting old. I mean, Wes became a, a father,
• 4:17
what, 2-3 years ago and I'm still not a dad.
• 4:19
So I'm, I'm, I'm waiting for something to pop out soon and
• 4:23
then play daddy daycare. I mean, Brittany doesn't want a
• 4:27
kid anytime soon, but I told her, what am I going to be 60
• 4:30
years old running after my 10 year old son?
• 4:33
Yeah, I our 10 year old daughter.
• 4:36
That would be horrible. Anyways, so this is how it
• 4:40
works. Ladies and gentlemen, if you
• 4:41
don't know this game or you don't know how let's parlay
• 4:44
works, these two guys are some of the best handicappers in the
• 4:48
country. I mean, some of the best.
• 4:50
If you listen to money Line Mania on the weekend crunch,
• 4:54
they're at almost 84% so far this year.
• 4:59
I mean, it's it's ridiculous. It's so much better than Vegas,
• 5:02
and you guys can win, actually win money if you listen to their
• 5:05
takes and their picks. So what we're going to do is Wes
• 5:09
and Reno Johnny are going to give you their top three picks
• 5:11
and their 4th pick to be their parlay.
• 5:14
All right, so tonight we're going to go with Reno Johnny
• 5:17
first, Wes second. Here we go.
• 5:20
Yeah. I'm going to start this off real
• 5:22
quick. I am on a legitimate documented
• 5:26
24 run called basketball so I don't add nothing is A and I
• 5:35
don't know how it's going to go. I got my take so I'm going to
• 5:38
take the Florida at the game. It's at 159 1/2.
• 5:42
I'm going to take this game over.
• 5:44
They played twice this year. Both times they hit at least
• 5:47
  161. Both games were kind of
• 5:50
dominated early by Florida. The second game, Kentucky closed
• 5:55
the gap to kind of just to stay within that number.
• 5:58
They weren't within double digits both times.
• 6:00
I like the pace of this game. Florida's got the 24th fastest
• 6:04
adjusted efficiency pace. One thing I like about
• 6:07
tournament games, especially when you have a team like
• 6:10
Kentucky who I think is in, but they're kind of in that flex
• 6:13
bubble spot, maybe, look, they're going to continue
• 6:16
playing. You're going to get a lot, You
• 6:17
know you're going to see teams when you're looking at totals.
• 6:20
A lot of times in, in March Madness overs are good because
• 6:23
your team down 12 will start fouling with three minutes to go
• 6:26
in the game. They they want to extend that
• 6:28
game. So I've seen I've been in in
• 6:30
spots where I needed 40 points and they scored 45 in the last 2
• 6:34
1/2 minutes because they just, they're making shots, they're
• 6:37
  fouling. Those games get extended.
• 6:39
I think 160 is kind of a steal here for they've hit it both
• 6:43
times in a situation where they weren't going to be fouling down
• 6:46
12 with three minutes to go to the game.
• 6:48
So I think it's a good a good pace game.
• 6:50
A lot of points both times already I think is another
• 6:53
opportunity. The only downside and caution
• 6:55
for this game is early start time dates.
• 6:58
By noon. Those games can kind of get off
• 7:00
to the rocky start if you need points, but I like that over 159
• 7:04
1/2. All right, Wes, what is your #1?
• 7:08
I'm going to start off with a game that probably nobody's
• 7:11
interested in, but I really like the line and I've watched this
• 7:14
team. I've been on them a couple times
• 7:16
throughout the year and I, I, one of their players is really
• 7:20
I, I think he's, he's got a good NBA future ahead of him.
• 7:24
I'm taking the Bonnies. I don't see anything about
• 7:27
Dayton that deserves trust with what is now a 7 point spread.
• 7:31
But but Saint Bonaventure and a player to watch for is is Frank
• 7:35
  Mitchell. He's 68.
• 7:37
  He's averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds a game.
• 7:41
That's a very big deal, especially in a school like that
• 7:45
that is is not putting up a ton of point.
• 7:48
I think he's Canadian born. So if you want to if you want to
• 7:51
look at SGA and you know some of that Canadian lineage.
• 7:56
But but I I believe that the Bonnies have a shot of outright
• 7:59
winning this game. I think that the only reason
• 8:01
that there's there's line movement and money on on
• 8:05
Davidson or I'm sorry, is it Dayton is just because of name
• 8:10
recognition. I I like the Bonnies here to
• 8:11
cover possibly went out right. Frank Mitchell, keep an eye on.
• 8:15
Reno, Johnny, give us your number 2.
• 8:17
Yeah, so my number 2 is, is definitely a game that nobody in
• 8:21
the country is going to be on. I will say that I am a SWAC
• 8:24
  GOAT. They're calling me now.
• 8:26
I think I'm 5 and O in their conference tournament.
• 8:28
We're going to stick with the SWAC around.
• 8:31
You know, side note, I was wondering how many Division One
• 8:33
teams have I actually placed money on?
• 8:36
I think I'm the only handicapper that has legitimately placed
• 8:39
money on at least every team wants not this year, but in my
• 8:42
in my lifetime. We bet on the slack betting them
• 8:45
again tomorrow. Give me Alabama A and MI think
• 8:48
what they did today against Texas Southern.
• 8:50
They were down most of that game.
• 8:51
They had they they had a close a good second-half, middle
• 8:54
second-half. They kind of took the lead.
• 8:57
They finally and then they give it back.
• 8:58
They go to overtime. I think this and they dominate
• 9:01
overtime. I think this is a good
• 9:02
situation. They took down as Texas southern
• 9:04
team led by Johnny Jones ton of experience in March.
• 9:07
They typically are those 15 and 17 tournament teams.
• 9:11
They did good job today with standing in the storm.
• 9:13
I think Prairie views kind of been that Cinderella.
• 9:16
They're they're a bottom seed in that tournament.
• 9:18
They've won a couple games. They took down the number one
• 9:20
seed. I do think Alabama A&M is going
• 9:22
to win this game. You right now you can get them
• 9:24
at plus one hundred 1:05 depending on on where you're at,
• 9:28
but that's even money. I think they win the game out
• 9:30
right tomorrow. Wes, give us your number 2.
• 9:35
So fun fact, you guys might not know about me, but when it comes
• 9:38
to college basketball, there's like two or three teams that I
• 9:41
just like you can call my teams. I, I throw Ohio State out the
• 9:44
window, you know, I'll cheer for the Buckeyes in, in anything,
• 9:47
but they, you know, they don't really have a college basketball
• 9:50
program. But, but my favorite college
• 9:52
team over the last five years has been Seton Hall.
• 9:55
Believe it or not, I, I love this Seton Hall team.
• 9:58
They make other teams play bad. There's some familiarity against
• 10:02
this, against this Saint John's team.
• 10:06
Seton Hall is holding teams under 65 points or they held
• 10:09
  Saint John's 65 points. They're they're top 15 in almost
• 10:13
every category defensively, They don't put up a ton of points or
• 10:17
stats because they, they just don't need to.
• 10:20
I, I like them to cover this spread.
• 10:23
The number is is silly. It's 7 1/2 you can get it at
• 10:27
8:00. If you let it go a little bit
• 10:28
longer you you might even catch 88 and a half.
• 10:32
I just and and again with Seton Hall, just like I I mentioned
• 10:36
with the Bonnies, one of my favorite players in the entire
• 10:39
country is is AJ Stanton McCray. I I think he's another one that
• 10:43
he's not one of the big names, but he's going to find his way
• 10:46
on ANBA roster. He's a two way player that that
• 10:49
really is is one of the players is just the backbone of this
• 10:52
defense. But I think that that that St.
• 10:55
John's coming off of a little bit bigger win and Seton Hall is
• 10:58
just kind of doing what they do and keeping the game slow league
• 11:00
defense. Reno, Johnny, give us your #3.
• 11:03
Yes, similar to Wes. I'm actually a I got a few teams
• 11:06
in college basketball. It's 365 teams.
• 11:09
I don't think there's any shame in the game by chain for a
• 11:11
couple, especially when you like those small schools.
• 11:14
They're probably not going to championship, but I'm actually a
• 11:16
fan of this next game. So I got to preface that I am an
• 11:19
actual fan of this team, but I think this team's got great
• 11:21
value and that's going to be Nevada.
• 11:23
I faded Nevada actually in the first round at plus 20.
• 11:26
I thought I thought that Air Force lost by 15 a couple times.
• 11:29
They can hang around. They didn't.
• 11:30
They lost 39 and 10 in the first half again was never in
• 11:33
question. Down early, down 6 to to GCUA
• 11:38
team that's tournament tested. They've been, they've been,
• 11:41
they've won their conference tournament last two years, the
• 11:44
new conference for them, Nevada was stood the storm.
• 11:46
I think the game was choppy, which really hurt GCU is a lot
• 11:50
of penalties in that game. Nevada, Nevada made and
• 11:55
attempted more free throws than had at any point this year hit
• 11:57
30 something free throws out of 40 something attempts.
• 12:00
It was insane. I think tomorrow is this is a
• 12:03
Nevada team that is on the bubble in terms of they got to
• 12:07
win, they got to win make tournament.
• 12:08
I think it's crazy to me because San Diego Saints on the bubble,
• 12:11
Utah State's on the bubble, New Mexico is on the bubble, Boise
• 12:14
was on the bubble and Nevada beat every single one of those
• 12:17
seats. So I have no idea how Nevada has
• 12:19
not been on the bubble conversation.
• 12:20
They've our 20 plus winner. 1111 losses are catching 6 points
• 12:24
tomorrow. I do think they can win the
• 12:27
game. I'm going to cover myself with
• 12:28
the points. I'm going to sprinkle on the
• 12:29
money line. They have enough scoring behind
• 12:32
Price Camper and Vaughn Weems, who's been terrific in this
• 12:35
tournament. I think they can withstand the
• 12:37
storm and the Utah State does travel well.
• 12:40
That's what they're going to have to kind of withstand there.
• 12:42
I think Nevada hangs around. I think Nevada can win this
• 12:45
conference, which is something that we probably were talking
• 12:47
about the beginning of the year. All right, Wes, give us your #3.
• 12:52
So I'm wearing the shirt. This is my family.
• 12:56
They're all you know, Hey, you Alma moderate.
• 12:58
It's the local team. But truth be told, I am a
• 13:01
Houston fan in the last few years.
• 13:03
I like the way that they play. I just like defensive teams and
• 13:06
but there is something wrong with this Houston Cougars team,
• 13:09
like something is wrong Kansas. We know what their issues are we
• 13:13
I is DP going to play? Is he going to is he going to
• 13:16
look like a teammate when he plays?
• 13:18
Is he going to take the threes when they should be giving the
• 13:20
three-point opportunities to Melvin Council junior?
• 13:23
Like what version of of the jocks are we going to get
• 13:25
because they kind of look better when DP doesn't play Young kid.
• 13:29
I still self is one of the best coaches in the country.
• 13:32
But the reason I'm taking Jayhawks and we don't know what
• 13:35
the point spread is. I'm taking Jayhawks money line
• 13:38
and I think it's going to be some plus money.
• 13:39
This Houston Cougar team is broken.
• 13:42
They're one of the best defensive teams in the country.
• 13:43
BYU should have not even been in this game and BYU was ahead by
• 13:48
as much as six. I was physically at that game
• 13:51
tonight and and watching it feeling stupid telling people
• 13:55
pregame that Houston is one of the most dangerous teams in the
• 13:58
country. Like they just Houston falls
• 14:00
into really weird spots with The Jayhawks.
• 14:03
We know what the issues are and it's just it's just team
• 14:06
continuity. If they get DP going as a part
• 14:09
of the team and not as as as his own entrepreneur, If Melvin
• 14:13
Counsel Junior also gets opportunities, this is a Jayhawk
• 14:16
team that can play with anybody in the country.
• 14:18
But the way that Houston is playing right now, they will not
• 14:20
make it past tomorrow. All right, Reno, Johnny, give us
• 14:24
your final pick of the night. The final pick of the night is
• 14:28
actually going to be a game that starts in about an hour and a
• 14:31
half and it's going to be UC Davis over Fullerton.
• 14:36
A fun fact that I actually was part of a staff that coached a
• 14:40
player on Fullerton a couple years ago over here at the local
• 14:44
high school. So I kind of have a little bit
• 14:47
there, but I'm not going to be on that side.
• 14:48
I think UC Davis is the the play here.
• 14:51
They're kind of catching a little bit of value.
• 14:53
What I understand, I don't think this Fullerton offense is going
• 14:57
to be able to contain or contend against this UC Davis defense.
• 15:02
And I think the metrics on UC Davis actually favor this in the
• 15:05
matchup I have them in, more like a three-point favorite.
• 15:08
So you're going to catch a lot of value there.
• 15:10
I think UC Davis wins the game. What I'm going to do, though, is
• 15:13
going to lay the money line. I think met -105 now -106 a
• 15:18
little bit of movement there. So I'm just gonna be on the
• 15:20
money line, not worry about the -1 or -1 1/2.
• 15:23
Give me the UC Davis to win the game against Fullerton and move
• 15:29
on. All right, Wes, give us your
• 15:32
final pick of the night. This this game is a total
• 15:36
mismatch. I don't know why 91% of the
• 15:39
people involved in this game are taking the points.
• 15:42
It makes no sense to me at all. I am laying it's now 8 1/2.
• 15:47
I was happy to lay 9 1/2 and I'll lay as many as 10 1/2.
• 15:50
Illinois is it is going to be a complete SF against the Badgers.
• 15:55
Does anybody know what an SF is? Can I, can I say do you know
• 15:59
what it's going to be? A skull fuck I.
• 16:03
Illinois is one of the tallest teams in the country.
• 16:07
They get a 71 center. They get A-69 power forward.
• 16:10
Illinois gets hot like nobody else in the country.
• 16:14
The Badgers do not belong on the court in this game.
• 16:17
This is, I preach unit management.
• 16:21
If ever there was a time to put double Bitcoin on a game, it
• 16:26
would be laying the points here on the fighting a line.
• 16:29
I I believe that it is going to be a real SF tomorrow.
• 16:33
And if you if you truly need an explanation, you don't watch
• 16:37
basketball. Well, we all know worldwide W is
• 16:41
all about the Bitcoin so. Yeah, I I like that pick was I
• 16:47
actually don't know why they're I mean, I understand that you
• 16:49
Perdue, but if I look at this Wisconsin seem like they
• 16:52
shouldn't be ranked in my opinion.
• 16:55
One quick question before I do have a question for everybody.
• 16:58
Does Miami, Ohio, do they get in?
• 17:00
  Yes. Yes.
• 17:02
Yeah. Yeah, I I think so too.
• 17:05
But apparently you can get you can make money if you bet on
• 17:08
them to make tournament because there's only a 38% chance, 37%
• 17:11
chance that they do make the field.
• 17:12
They, they needed that loss. I, I believe that they needed
• 17:16
that loss. They needed that pressure gone.
• 17:18
And I, I think they could be a Sweet 16 team.
• 17:21
  And I, I think that they'll probably be a 5 or 16, yeah.
• 17:25
  I I know, I think they're going to load dude that I.
• 17:27
Think they're talking to 9. Yeah, like they're they're going
• 17:31
to they're going to fuck them because what they're going to do
• 17:33
is put them in a a nine and if they win that game, they're
• 17:35
going to play the number one seed.
• 17:36
But one number one team. I think they're getting fucked.
• 17:39
I think 31 and I don't care who you are, right, because you can
• 17:41
say anything about their strength of schedule.
• 17:43
Nobody else in the Mac 131 and O nobody else in the swats going
• 17:46
31 and O like. So I don't care about that
• 17:48
because it it's, it's hard to do.
• 17:51
Well, there's I have the same question about like Santa Clara
• 17:55
and Saint Mary's. Saint Mary's one of the top
• 17:57
defensive teams in the country. They they beaten Gonzaga, but
• 18:01
they didn't make it to the championship of their tournament
• 18:03
and Santa Clara beat them. Santa Clara is unranked.
• 18:06
They're they're, you know, kind of mid on their, their record.
• 18:10
There's there's just all kinds of weird ones out there like
• 18:13
Ohio State's going to make it in and I don't I on paper, Miami,
• 18:18
Ohio is better. Yeah, I I think Saint Mary's is
• 18:21
in and then in my opinion, Saint Mary's is in they.
• 18:23
  They're always in. They always.
• 18:26
A body of work and there's some years like they have to win the
• 18:28
tournament, but a body of work you're taking you're telling me
• 18:31
Gonzaga is an automatic in even without that win, right.
• 18:34
Even if you send a thread one you're telling me Gonzaga is
• 18:36
automatically in well, I can argue that Saint Mary's strength
• 18:40
schedule may be not as strong, but they're as good of a team as
• 18:43
Gonzaga. They've already beat them twice.
• 18:45
Or no they they. Lost Santa Clara in.
• 18:48
  I. I hope they get in.
• 18:50
That's got that. Is that the best one they have,
• 18:52
right? Is that one Saint Mary's win?
• 18:53
They didn't. They didn't beat Gonzaga this
• 18:56
year like I. That's one thing with Santa
• 18:58
Clara is you can't match up any of their wins outside of a Saint
• 19:01
Mary's win in the tournament. Saint Mary's had already put
• 19:04
together that body of work. That's where it kind of gets
• 19:07
tricky, I think. I honestly think both should be
• 19:10
in. If you got to make pick one or
• 19:12
the other, you got to take. I think Saint Mary's over the
• 19:14
course of the year, Saint Mary's is the better team.
• 19:17
They're they were the right team much of the year.
• 19:19
They've already beat Gonzaga. They they lost by 6 on the road
• 19:23
to Gonzaga. They dominated at home against
• 19:25
him. I I just thought they were the
• 19:26
better team and I think that's what's going to hurt the Miami.
• 19:30
OH, the fact that they're only 37% chance to make the
• 19:33
tournament is wild to me. Clemson's another one.
• 19:37
What does Clemson have to do to get in?
• 19:39
I think that they're going to beat North Carolina here in a
• 19:41
  few minutes. They're a favorite.
• 19:42
To do. So are they up?
• 19:44
  I I haven't seen the score, but they're.
• 19:46
They're just tied. So what does Clemson need to do?
• 19:51
Because they were ranked, they were ranked at one point.
• 19:53
They couldn't hold it together. ACC is competitive.
• 19:56
  It's, I don't know, I think they're you can't have a team go
• 20:00
undefeated and not put them in. I think they're in.
• 20:02
I think, I think Clemson's in and they're up right now.
• 20:04
It's the first half. I I think North Carolina's in
• 20:08
based on body of work, but I also think North Carolina is
• 20:10
going to be an early out because they lost their best player
• 20:13
already so. They're in because of their
• 20:15
name, but they suck. They're not good and, and, and
• 20:18
to be honest, I actually liked it if they had their best
• 20:21
  player. I think they're sweet.
• 20:22
They're an Elite Eight team because they're going to get
• 20:24
  overlooked and overvalued and undervalued.
• 20:27
So but without their best player, they're not, they're
• 20:29
going to meet the tournament because their name, they've
• 20:31
already had put together a good season.
• 20:33
They're going to be an early out, which kind of sucks.
• 20:35
But and then Duke too, Duke lost a great player for them.
• 20:38
So there's been a lot of injuries here coming into this
• 20:40
tournament. So I think we're going to get a
• 20:42
lot of Cinderellas or opportunities to get some
• 20:44
  Cinderellas. All right, boys.
• 20:46
Gators. We really appreciate you guys.
• 20:48
I'll talk to you guys later. We got to move on.
• 20:50
We got a couple more segments to go, but we love you guys and
• 20:53
look, look, we got the the skullfudge over there for the
• 20:57
  old Wesser. But thanks guys.
• 20:59
We we really appreciate the time.
• 21:01
Let's parlay. They're on every single Thursday
• 21:04
and they give us their top picks and they're always sensational.
• 21:07
So thank you to them. All right, we call this concrete
• 21:11
jungle carousel. Welcome to the jungle, we got
• 21:15
fun and games, you know where you are.
• 21:18
  In. The jungle baby welcome.
• 21:21
I'm trying to put Tiger Bomb on this jungle's nuts.
• 21:23
To the concrete jungle carousel. All right.
• 21:34
Are we ready for concrete jungle carousel?
• 21:37
Well, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to get into New York
• 21:41
  sports. Let's get it fish.
• 21:43
All right, starting in basketball going to be quick
• 21:45
  tonight. Knicks drop back-to-back games
• 21:48
to the Clippers and Lakers, first losing to the Lakers,
• 21:52
11097 without LeBron, then to the Clippers in a closer game,
• 21:55
1/26, 1:18 the next night. And of course, they had a nice
• 22:01
little rebound game against the Jazz.
• 22:05
Jordan Clarkson, who played there a long time, hadn't played
• 22:08
in the while he's been out of the rotation.
• 22:10
They let him have a moment. He got 27 points off the bench
• 22:13
in that game in the win. Mike Brown, the big thing that
• 22:17
they're talking about right now is Mitchell Robinson.
• 22:18
Mitchell Robinson's load management, they're keeping him
• 22:21
at 22 minutes a game. But Mike Brown is going to start
• 22:24
to try to increase his playing time, even though he's not going
• 22:27
to start him. And they need to get Carl
• 22:30
Anthony Towns going. It's just the the story of the
• 22:32
season. If his shooting percentages are
• 22:35
down as much as they are, they're losing a few points.
• 22:38
They would like to see those percentages go back up for the
• 22:41
  playoffs. Here's the facts, guys.
• 22:43
I know everybody looks at numbers and statistics.
• 22:45
When Carl Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robertson is on the
• 22:48
court together, they're not that good.
• 22:50
But what I could say about Mitchell Robertson is he does
• 22:54
everything that Carl Anthony Towns doesn't do, and that's
• 22:57
  rebound. He's a great rebounder.
• 22:59
Block and protect the hole. And and that's what you need
• 23:03
from a guy that's going to be your backbone of your defense.
• 23:06
Now, again, I think Mike Brown should start to transition into
• 23:10
that and and figure out how this could work.
• 23:12
Spread out the offense, use Karl Anthony Towns on the outside
• 23:16
more than the inside and let Mitchell Robinson control the
• 23:18
inside. But this team hasn't played well
• 23:22
and a lot of people worried about Mikhail Bridges if he's
• 23:25
going to show up in the games and and play at a high level and
• 23:29
OG and Anobi disappears offensively in games and and
• 23:32
Karl Anthony Towns isn't the prolific offensive player.
• 23:35
You won every single game. You need to see consistency 25
• 23:39
and 12 like he was last year. If you don't get that from Karl
• 23:43
Anthony Towns, well then you're going to have a problem in the
• 23:45
playoffs against Detroit and the Celtics.
• 23:47
So that I think is what I would like to see when McBride comes
• 23:52
back, maybe you move him in and and see what he can add to maybe
• 23:56
a starting lineup for a six man off the bench.
• 23:59
It's just too much of Josh Hart and playing the small offense
• 24:03
and small rotation a lineup it it doesn't work.
• 24:07
You've got size. Use your size and you'll have
• 24:10
that advantage in the playoffs against these Eastern Conference
• 24:12
teams. Yeah, you don't have to play Cat
• 24:14
in Mitchell Robinson like the whole game with each other, but
• 24:16
you're going to need to do it in some lineups to get it
• 24:18
acclimated for the playoffs because there's going to be
• 24:20
these teams. You should have a size
• 24:21
advantage. And I'm OK with the minutes
• 24:23
limit right now. I don't, I don't care what the
• 24:24
starting or not starting label, but 22 minutes is fine.
• 24:27
Increase it a little. Still keep the low management
• 24:29
process going with him. All right, then the next season
• 24:32
is over. There's nothing to talk about
• 24:34
with them. Let's move on to football Giants
• 24:37
free agency moves. So we got a couple of things.
• 24:41
The Giants got some depth. They brought in the safety
• 24:45
Ardarius Washington from the Ravens and fullback, All Pro
• 24:50
fullback Patrick Ricard, 300 LB fullback, kind of old school for
• 24:56
those goal line packages. A lot of those guys are coming
• 25:00
  back. They're bringing back Micah
• 25:01
McFadden. They brought in the Dolphins.
• 25:04
The former Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders.
• 25:07
I was, I guess they're saying right now he's going to compete
• 25:10
with Gano. Everyone assumes Gano is gone.
• 25:13
They brought in a pretty good corner, I think in the slot
• 25:17
corner, Greg Newsome, but the big news and they brought in
• 25:20
Calvin Austin, the third from the Steelers today.
• 25:22
He's kind of a slot guy. But the big news, Errol, they're
• 25:26
bringing back Evan Neal on a one year deal.
• 25:30
I I show coaches just think they could fix anything I guess.
• 25:35
Joe Shane, That's all I'm going to say.
• 25:37
Joe Shane wants to protect that pick and make it seem like he
• 25:41
can figure it out or get John Harbaugh to figure it out and
• 25:44
get this guy playing at a high level record is a is a good
• 25:47
player good full back Newsome is is is another good slot
• 25:51
defender. I so I, I think they added some
• 25:54
pieces. Are these game changing pieces?
• 25:57
No, I know giant fans are hoping that John Harbold can get these
• 26:01
players to play at a top level. Neighbors comes back and and
• 26:05
obviously some of their players that really showed Cam comes
• 26:08
back and plays at a high level. Even a lot of people worried
• 26:11
about Cam coming back from the injury like this.
• 26:13
So you're betting on John Harbold to get things working at
• 26:17
  a high level. I, I just, they, they couldn't
• 26:20
do a lot. They couldn't go after these top
• 26:22
players because they didn't have the money.
• 26:24
They had to maneuver players and move players and make the, the
• 26:28
salaries work. And they better hope that they
• 26:30
land on their their first round pick and their second and third
• 26:33
round picks because those guys are going to play a big part of
• 26:37
this team's success this coming year.
• 26:38
Yeah, Newsome for one year is 8 million.
• 26:40
I think he's good when he's healthy, just never healthy.
• 26:42
Washington was a scheme fit with the Ravens.
• 26:43
I don't know how it'll work with all these new like mixed bag of
• 26:46
defense with the tennis. I didn't like that move.
• 26:48
Yeah, it's, it's, it's kind of tough to tell with him.
• 26:50
I like bringing back McFadden. I always thought he was a good
• 26:52
versatile guy, kind of a Rover in that defense.
• 26:54
Evan Neil. Let's hope he could actually do
• 26:56
something, but who knows? Mcfadden's like he's always
• 27:00
around the ball. Well, there he wraps up or not
• 27:02
is a different story sometimes for him.
• 27:04
That's I hope he can fix that. If there anyone could.
• 27:07
It's a guy who's going to be dedicated to principals like
• 27:09
John Harbaugh. Anyway, let's get to The Jets.
• 27:14
The Jets made some noise, Errol, they, I mean, should we start
• 27:19
with it? Let's start with it.
• 27:20
They went and grabbed Geno Smith.
• 27:24
They traded a 7th back to The Jets for a seventh round pick.
• 27:29
The Raiders eat all the salary. It's a veteran minimum.
• 27:32
Kind of a similar deal that the Steelers had with Russell Wilson
• 27:35
a couple of years ago. I guess he's the bridge.
• 27:38
It's just kind of weird that The Jets, you know, they started
• 27:42
with him, wasn't good with him. He's kind of at the end of the
• 27:45
career now. It kind of missed out on the
• 27:48
prime of a guy who actually had a pretty halfway decent career
• 27:51
there for someone who know wouldn't really expect that much
• 27:54
of. I love the Geno Smith move.
• 27:56
First of all, he's a Jet. He was drafted by The Jets in
• 27:58
the second round. Didn't really accomplish what we
• 28:01
expected him to accomplish. Maybe because he didn't pay a
• 28:05
guy back $500 in a bets. I mean, in the locker room,
• 28:09
everybody knows the story. And he got his jaw broke.
• 28:11
And then Fitzpatrick took over and pretty much led The Jets for
• 28:14
two years and Geno Smith was traded and let go.
• 28:17
And so typical New York Jets fashion.
• 28:21
Here's the thing. Geno Smith didn't cost The Jets
• 28:24
anything. A lot of people believe Geno
• 28:26
Smith was the best quarterback available in this offseason from
• 28:29
Kyla Murray and Kirk Cousins. So you get him for nothing for a
• 28:31
seventh round draft pick when a lot of people thought he was
• 28:33
going to Minnesota, if he if he came off waivers, he goes to
• 28:37
Minnesota and The Jets have no shot at him.
• 28:39
Now you look at a, he's a fringe quarterback.
• 28:42
You think about it this way, you have them a whole season this
• 28:45
year and the next year you draft your quarterback.
• 28:47
You sitting behind Geno Smith, let Geno Smith help develop him
• 28:50
for the first six or seven weeks and then you have your
• 28:52
quarterback. That's what I do and I think
• 28:55
that's the smart way of going. I think Moji's had a great
• 28:57
offseason. They added right the other day
• 29:00
at a corner, a number one corner, right is a #1 corner.
• 29:03
You put him over there, you draft the corner.
• 29:06
Now you have a 1-2 punch. You got a good secondary and
• 29:09
  yet. And Mika Fitzpatrick, Demario
• 29:12
Davis, another ex Jet who was drafted by Rex Ryan, who's had a
• 29:15
sensational career with the Saints, won a Super Bowl.
• 29:20
This is a this, this is a successful offseason so far.
• 29:24
And they didn't spend a lot of money.
• 29:25
They really didn't spend any money.
• 29:28
The Jets are flying right now. Think about it.
• 29:30
They had it like 7 or 8 pieces and spent the most money they
• 29:33
spent was a trade for a safety, gave up a sixth or seventh round
• 29:38
draft pick and paid him $40 million, underpaid.
• 29:40
One of the best safeties in the league.
• 29:42
If he stays healthy, I think it's a good offseason for The
• 29:44
Jets. Yeah, I was, I was worried.
• 29:45
We talked about a few weeks ago with Neshawn Wright getting a
• 29:48
big contractors off 1 big year because it's really been his
• 29:50
only big year in the league. But it's a guy who could play
• 29:52
both corner and safety. I think you're getting a great
• 29:55
move for just $5,000,000. I was thinking he was going to
• 29:57
cost at least 12 for off the year he had only getting for
• 29:59
  five. Is is crazy good.
• 30:01
David Onyamata another good one too.
• 30:02
They got on the interior defensive line to help them out.
• 30:04
You talked about Belton earlier, Arrow coming over from the
• 30:06
Giants, who was a versatile guy in that demon.
• 30:09
If you get somebody else to pay your quarterback and he barely
• 30:11
has to do anything, that's a very good.
• 30:13
Think about it, They spent probably, I would say $30
• 30:18
million this offseason and they've got a ton of money left
• 30:21
for next year and a lot, at least two or three of these guys
• 30:24
are going to be off the cap next year because they only signed
• 30:27
one of your deals. So The Jets are flying high.
• 30:29
They're going to have the most money.
• 30:30
They'll get their quarterback next year and they still have
• 30:33
Gino Smith as their starting quarterback going into another
• 30:36
season in 2027. So I think The Jets are in a
• 30:40
very good position. Emoji to our emoji.
• 30:43
A minus all see all offseason. I give him an A minus because I
• 30:49
wanted to I until they until I see what they get in the draft,
• 30:52
then I can give him an A+. But they have a chance.
• 30:56
They got two first round draft picks, 2 second round draft
• 30:58
picks. They could be flying high after
• 31:00
the draft. So we got to see it's a minus
• 31:03
right now. It could be an A+ plus if he has
• 31:05
a good draft. All right, let's get into some
• 31:09
baseball right now. And we've already talked WBC,
• 31:13
but there's also spring training going on at the same time.
• 31:15
We forget about that sometimes. The Yankees.
• 31:18
Well, First off, John Carlos standing and hit two home runs.
• 31:21
He looks really good. But the real news is the young
• 31:24
pitching Cam Schlitter looks even better than he did last
• 31:27
year. They're saying that his pitches
• 31:29
are moving more than they used to move with the advanced
• 31:31
analytics. And then they have this in
• 31:33
Carlos Lebrand, Gerald throwing over 101.
• 31:37
He's got like starter talent, they think.
• 31:40
But this year he may end up being a late inning guy if he's
• 31:43
going to be throwing this hard. He has four scoreless innings in
• 31:48
his last start. Schlittler had five strikeouts
• 31:51
on his first 25 pitches, with six overall on three and 2/3.
• 31:56
Pretty awesome to see what they have.
• 31:58
And on the Mets side of things, they're going to retire Carlos
• 32:01
Beltran's jersey on May 30th. Should have done that a long
• 32:05
time ago by the. Way Jonah Tong's going to AAA,
• 32:09
which you know kind of figured and then they're going to go
• 32:13
with a six man rotation at least until they as one of them gets
• 32:17
  hurt. McClain, Minaya, Clay, Holmes,
• 32:20
Peterson, Sanga. After the addition of Freddy
• 32:24
  Peralta. All right.
• 32:25
So let's go to the Yankees first.
• 32:27
We know what Schlittler is going to be.
• 32:29
He is a one or two in the future for the Yankees.
• 32:33
This Rodriguez kid is going to be called up sometime this year
• 32:38
as well. I mean, the Yankees have a good
• 32:41
nucleus of young pitching that are coming up, which a lot of
• 32:45
people didn't think the Yankees had.
• 32:46
Spencer Jones looks good. I mean, everything looks good.
• 32:49
Lombardi looks good. The young stars, the young
• 32:53
players that a lot of people think that the Yankees going to
• 32:55
build around. The Yankees have a future.
• 32:57
They really do. And as far as the Mets are
• 33:00
concerned, well, Tong we knew was going to be sent.
• 33:05
That was it's Tong, right? He he was going to be sent down.
• 33:08
But I think he will be called up really, really early in the
• 33:13
season. I the Mets are fine too.
• 33:16
I think the Mets have some good young prospects we're going to
• 33:18
see this year. I my question is, is how these
• 33:21
other players are going to work in this line up and who's
• 33:24
playing first base? Is it Beatty, is it Jorge?
• 33:27
  I mean, who's the guy? Who's the 1st baseman?
• 33:30
You spent a lot of money this offseason bringing in free
• 33:33
agents that don't fit in those positions.
• 33:35
How is it going to work? That's the only thing I would
• 33:38
worry about for the Mets. Are the Mets a playoff team?
• 33:41
Well, if the pitching holds up and Manaya comes back and he
• 33:44
pitches like a one or two and you have McClain and then Tong
• 33:48
is a part of this rotation, one way or another, I think the Mets
• 33:50
are going to be in a good position.
• 33:52
And by the way, they still have Peralta, who is their number
• 33:54
one. So Peralta, Manaya, I mean, if
• 33:57
Peralta is any anything, what he was with Milwaukee, the Mets
• 34:00
could have a shutdown absolute #1 starter with McClain.
• 34:04
So yeah, Mets are going to be there.
• 34:06
Yeah, there's a lot of pitchers that are trying to figure out
• 34:07
their roles at this point. That's why I still think you let
• 34:10
Tongue develop too. No matter what, you want to
• 34:12
still have him pitch at his highest upside.
• 34:13
It was surprising when they called him up as early as they
• 34:15
did last year. Obviously, they went on the
• 34:17
young pitching revolution after so many guys struggled all at
• 34:19
once, but I think they're doing the right thing here.
• 34:21
I'd leave him at least until May, June and then call him up
• 34:23
then unless there's a catastrophic amount of injuries.
• 34:25
I agree with you on Beatty. Like they need his bat in the
• 34:27
lineup, but they need to do more.
• 34:29
As far as the Yankees, I would say LaGrange probably sent him
• 34:32
out for most of the season until this point.
• 34:33
Let him develop as a starter. Schlittler might be a number 2
• 34:36
this year. I would expect him to be #2
• 34:38
until Rodon comes back and then Cole, you know, obviously he
• 34:42
would be the four and that would be the best 4, right in all of
• 34:45
baseball. Well, I you could argue the
• 34:47
Dodgers 4 pretty good too, man. So who's the Dodgers Fourth guy?
• 34:52
We got Otani and Yamamoto Glasgow happy.
• 34:56
Glass, now it's Nell that's. Pretty Snell is really not
• 34:58
healthy this year. I don't know if he's going to go
• 35:01
for a few months. So still have if it's not, still
• 35:04
have. I know, but the Yankees still
• 35:06
have coal. And yeah, you're right.
• 35:08
They'll stop. They have Sasaki too and I
• 35:10
expect them to have a better season this year.
• 35:11
So is this, I think the question is, is Sasaki going to be in a
• 35:14
rotation or are they going to use him as a closer?
• 35:16
He's a starter. Like a late inning guy.
• 35:18
No, he's a starter. They they added a closure in the
• 35:20
offseason and with the. They don't need him to close.
• 35:23
Anything I don't, I don't think they have to worry about any of.
• 35:25
That Anyway, let's get to hockey.
• 35:27
So we're just going to go through this quick.
• 35:29
The Devils, are they still are scratching Dougie Hamilton.
• 35:33
I guess they're just trying to tank for the best odds at the
• 35:36
top pick in the draft. He scored, he had 20 points in
• 35:39
17 games after being benched for performance issues.
• 35:43
Obviously were trying to trade them.
• 35:46
They couldn't trade them, yet they're still benching them.
• 35:48
It's just weird what's going on with Hamilton.
• 35:51
Obviously he's not exactly the same guy as he was, but 20
• 35:54
points and 17 games kind of speaks for itself.
• 35:57
Braden Shen gets the assist on the overtime goal and the
• 36:00
comeback victory against his former team the other day, so
• 36:05
that tied the Islanders with the Penguins at the time for second
• 36:07
in the Metro and the range. You're going to love this.
• 36:12
Chris Jury was asking for Vincent Rocheck first round
• 36:16
pick, another starting player on a roster and a legitimate
• 36:21
prospect. Yeah, OK, that's not going to
• 36:25
happen. I it's unfortunate, but again,
• 36:28
Trochick is still part of the organization.
• 36:29
He'll be part of the organization moving forward.
• 36:31
They're not moving him. He's he's a backbone of that
• 36:34
  team. So I, I think if you're a Ranger
• 36:37
fan, you're happy that Vincent Trochick is still part of the
• 36:39
organization. As far as the Islanders are
• 36:42
concerned, They gave up a lot for Shen.
• 36:44
I want, and I, I listen to Kimmelman and he says, oh,
• 36:47
they've got some good veterans on this team.
• 36:48
I want to see Shen play a big part on the Islander success.
• 36:52
If they make the playoffs, he's a great playoff player.
• 36:54
You have them for another year. You gave up a first round, a
• 36:57
third round and a player. Druin is a good player.
• 37:01
So they have they have talent there and, and, and the Island
• 37:04
just gave up a lot. Now, the first round pick was
• 37:07
from the Colorado Avalanche. The third round pick that
• 37:09
they're giving up was from the Devils and, and, and this and
• 37:13
and as far as Drew and Drew was an add on, I think for Colorado
• 37:16
they got for the Brock Nelson deal.
• 37:18
So they're all add on players that the Islanders wanted to
• 37:22
move. So but you gave up a first and a
• 37:24
  third. That's a lot for a 34 year old
• 37:26
guy. So that's what worries him about
• 37:28
him if he's at the tail end of his career.
• 37:30
If not, he was a good addition as far as the Devils are
• 37:33
concerned. The Rangers are winning now,
• 37:36
which makes no sense, Drury says.
• 37:38
They're rebuilding. They're winning now because they
• 37:40
put a first line together that actually is putting the puck in
• 37:43
the net. And the Devils are losing and
• 37:46
sitting down. Dougie Hamilton, who's making a
• 37:49
boatload of money. He's making a lot of money for a
• 37:51
defenseman sitting out. What are you going to do with
• 37:53
him next year? Are you bringing him back?
• 37:56
Are you moving him in the offseason?
• 37:57
And what do you think you're going to get for him after
• 37:59
losing another season for a player that's aging?
• 38:03
So I I that makes no sense either.
• 38:05
Now another GM and Tom Fitzgerald has no idea what he's
• 38:08
doing. He's really messing it up with
• 38:09
the young defenceman team of Myer Myer contract looks really
• 38:12
bad too, and they're going to He's been horrible.
• 38:14
I know he he was good that first year when they traded for him
• 38:16
and then he fallen off I. Remember when the Islanders
• 38:18
wanted him so bad? And thank God, yeah, he played
• 38:22
well against the Rangers in that in that series.
• 38:23
And then? The Rangers wanted him to that
• 38:25
next. Full season, he just fell off
• 38:27
badly. And Dougie Hamilton, you knew it
• 38:28
was going to be tougher in the move as it was, but they
• 38:30
definitely didn't help their matters by healthy scratching
• 38:32
him and making him damage to the relationship with the Islanders.
• 38:35
Yeah, Braden said. We knew it was kind of a pricey
• 38:36
thing, but he's showing up as good leader already.
• 38:38
Like you said, two good playoff years with the Flyers, good
• 38:40
playoff years with the Blues. Hopefully, he keeps it going.
• 38:42
For the Islanders, they're going to need that kind of thing.
• 38:44
And for the Rangers, yeah, I don't mind them trying to swing
• 38:46
at one point for going for a big trade like that, but they're
• 38:48
trying to settle off for it and not trade anything at all.
• 38:51
  Yeah. Good luck, Chris Drewry.
• 38:52
I'm getting that to work. Buffalo, Boston and the Wild
• 38:54
turn you down. That shows you with good
• 38:56
  organizations. That's a bad sign.
• 38:59
I would say there's plenty of bad signs going on with the
• 39:02
Rangers right now. Let's quickly go to, not to.
• 39:04
Kimmelman not to Adam Kimmelman. So he he sounded pretty high on
• 39:10
Chris Drury and next. Season he was all sunshine and
• 39:13
  roses. I couldn't believe.
• 39:14
That made me feel so. Happy.
• 39:15
I couldn't believe he said that. I was shocked, but go ahead.
• 39:21
Just absolutely ridiculous. But you know, he's, he's an
• 39:25
insider. He, he, he must know something,
• 39:27
Errol, He doesn't know the Sabres.
• 39:29
The Sabres are in first. They have won eight straight
• 39:32
games past the Lightning for first in the Atlantic.
• 39:35
They got 86 points. They're two points behind
• 39:38
Carolina for the best record in the entire East.
• 39:41
They get Luke Shen and Tanner Pearson to debut tonight.
• 39:45
They lost tonight, but they debuted tonight and since
• 39:48
December 9th, they've got the most regulation wins point
• 39:50
percentage and goal differential in all of hockey.
• 39:54
As far as the Bills, the Bills spent a lot of money on Dawson
• 39:58
Knox for some reason. Three years, 29 and a half
• 40:01
million for a guy who I thought was their backup tight end
• 40:04
behind Delton Kincaid. I guess they're making him their
• 40:07
number one now with that kind of money.
• 40:09
They traded Taryn Johnson. And they replaced them with D
• 40:14
Alford, a younger slot corner gave him three years, 21.
• 40:18
But the big move was Bradley Chubb.
• 40:19
They got him from the Dolphins. 3 years, 43 and a half million,
• 40:23
29 guaranteed up to 52 1/2 with incentives to fix that kind of
• 40:29
not great pass rush. All right, so the Sabres I
• 40:32
listen the Sabres have a great future.
• 40:34
They really tage Thompson. He's he's a great leader young
• 40:39
American player. You saw him for Team USA.
• 40:41
He played a big part of their win and and and obviously their
• 40:45
run all the way to the gold medal.
• 40:47
They got a tremendous amount of talent.
• 40:49
Young Dalene is a is a great defenseman.
• 40:53
Their their future is bright. So I'm to tell you, watch out
• 40:56
for the Sabres for the next couple of years.
• 40:58
They could be a Stanley Cup contending team as far as the
• 41:01
Bills are concerned. Chaub, That was a lot of money
• 41:04
for Chaub, who can't stay healthy.
• 41:05
I'm sorry, I'm not paying him that kind of money.
• 41:08
I know he's a pass rusher. I know he can get at the
• 41:10
quarterback. What did he do for Miami?
• 41:12
Honestly, what did he do for Miami?
• 41:14
He came from the, I'm not mistaken, the Broncos and goes
• 41:18
to Miami. He got paid a lot of money and
• 41:21
just really didn't produce the way we thought he was going to
• 41:23
produce. Everybody was like wowed when he
• 41:26
oh, he's going to Miami and that defense really wasn't the player
• 41:29
that we thought he was going to be.
• 41:30
We've seen this before with with the Bills.
• 41:33
They bring in these veteran guys, Von Miller being another
• 41:36
one and gets a lot of money and doesn't really produce the way
• 41:39
we expected him to. So I don't understand it, but I,
• 41:43
I think the Bills are fine. I think DJ Moore was the the
• 41:45
home run move that they made and I think it's going to help them
• 41:48
move forward this season. Yeah, I was surprised fish like
• 41:51
you were with Knox giving him that much money because.
• 41:53
I'm not Knox is a good. Player, he is a good player.
• 41:55
The other kid that they drafted though with Jackson Halls
• 41:57
actually played very well as a third tight end too, so I would
• 41:59
have thought that would have been a void for.
• 42:01
  New coach, offensive minded coach.
• 42:03
They're going to use a lot of tight ends in this offense.
• 42:05
Dee Alford, I like the move for that.
• 42:07
He played very well. Kind of fell off at the end of
• 42:09
the year with Atlanta, but played very well most of that
• 42:10
season. Taran Johnson, I always thought
• 42:12
the last two years was kind of on the decline anyway.
• 42:14
You see that with slot corners as it is.
• 42:15
I'm kind of with you. Like edge rusher, I don't think
• 42:18
was their biggest need. I would focus more on DT or
• 42:20
linebacker if going to give that kind of money.
• 42:22
So kind of mixed bag there. Buffalo Sabres.
• 42:24
Would you pay him $43 million? No, no, I would have rather
• 42:27
given a defensive tackle or a linebacker that kind of.
• 42:30
Money. I'm not paying him more than $30
• 42:31
  million. Yeah, right.
• 42:33
  That's. He's going to be, he's a third
• 42:36
down guy at this point in his career, don't you think?
• 42:38
  He's a big. He's a.
• 42:39
  He's Von Miller. He's a bigger version.
• 42:41
Obviously Epinessa is more of a speed rusher, so they need
• 42:43
somebody a little more powerful maybe to counter that, but I
• 42:46
  don't I don't give that for 14,000,000 a year.
• 42:48
They did you see what they paid Von Miller?
• 42:50
Yeah, They give him $100 million.
• 42:52
I remember. Now they're paying him.
• 42:53
  They're paying Chub 40 something, $1,000,000.
• 42:55
It makes no sense. You're bringing in a veteran guy
• 42:58
that has not produced the way he produced when he was an elite
• 43:01
player, right? It doesn't make sense.
• 43:03
As far as the Sabres go, yeah, this is a young core and tried
• 43:05
finally breaking out in the second-half of the season.
• 43:07
They were always got good stretches, good streaks, and
• 43:09
then they fall off badly. They have one bad losing streak
• 43:12
that hurts them. The reason they have the longest
• 43:13
playoff jar in the league. And I know Kimmelman was
• 43:16
mentioning this, too in previous times we've had him on the show.
• 43:18
Sometimes teams don't do anything at the trade deadline
• 43:19
or they try for Perico when something's working, and they
• 43:22
kept that philosophy and they still keep winning.
• 43:24
The Sabres ever win, it's going to be absolute freaking bedlam
• 43:28
they will up there. They're going to.
• 43:30
They they are. I mean, I went to college there.
• 43:33
Those fans is the same people as the Bills fans.
• 43:35
They are out of their mind. The Bills Mafia.
• 43:38
It's if they're not talking about the Bills, they go.
• 43:40
I I remember a lot of them. They call them the Sabes bro.
• 43:43
We've had a we've had a couple of Sabres on the show and we we
• 43:47
all remember Dominic Kashuk. So they've gone to the finals
• 43:50
before. They they know what it takes to
• 43:53
get there. They didn't win, but they know
• 43:55
how to get there. That's all I'm going to say.
• 43:56
Had some good teams back in the early 2000s too with Danny
• 43:59
Brier. Bradley Chubb was ranked 100th
• 44:03
out of 115 qualifying edge rushers last year and had the
• 44:07
14th most snaps. So not a good season for Chubb.
• 44:11
All right, let's get to Big East hoops and round it out.
• 44:14
I'm just going to go through the scoreboard from the Big East
• 44:17
tournament. All three games are finals.
• 44:19
UConn blew out Xavier, I believe it was the other day. 9368 St.
• 44:25
  John's beat Providence 85 to 72 today.
• 44:29
Seton Hall knocked off Creighton 7261 And if we can get the top
• 44:34
four teams in, it would be Villanova.
• 44:36
But they're losing at halftime right now to Georgetown, who has
• 44:40
a losing record this season, 35 to 31, looking like the.
• 44:45
But you know, if Villanova makes it the four teams that we were
• 44:48
expecting, Seton Hall was a bubble team as a chance right
• 44:52
now to make things interesting. Seton Hall is not making I, I
• 44:57
love the way Wes, you know, attacked that.
• 45:00
But Seton Hall is not beating St.
• 45:02
  John's. They're not beating the
• 45:03
Johnnies, Johnny. The Johnnies are definitely
• 45:06
getting in. Uconn's definitely getting in.
• 45:08
And even if Villanova loses this game, they're getting in.
• 45:12
These are three good teams in the Big East, very well known
• 45:15
teams that can make Villanova. I don't know if they make a run
• 45:18
to the Sweet 16, but I think they get out of the first round.
• 45:23
I still think they're a quality team that plays good defense.
• 45:26
Saint John's and UConn. I think Saint John's could go to
• 45:28
the Sweet 16, depending on how the bracket falls to them and,
• 45:33
and, and how they match up against some of the teams in the
• 45:35
bracket. But UConn absolutely can make it
• 45:38
to the Final Four. Watch out.
• 45:40
Danny Early is a good coach. He knows how to win in games and
• 45:43
he knows how to get onto player skins on the other team.
• 45:46
Yeah, Georgetown Fish, remember five years ago made a random run
• 45:50
is like a 16 to 15 seed and they made the tournament and somebody
• 45:53
people were betting on that they got smoked to the first round.
• 45:54
So maybe it's that same kind of thing again, who knows?
• 45:56
But St. Seton Hall, I've seen them out
• 45:59
on most bubbles so far. So they're probably going to
• 46:01
have to win this game, not even just compete.
• 46:03
I think they can cover the spread.
• 46:04
Will they actually win? I don't know, probably not.
• 46:06
But Villanova, I think they're A1 round type team and that's
• 46:09
really it for them. And obviously the other two are
• 46:11
powerhouses. All right, guys, that's it for
• 46:13
the carousel. We'll take another spin next
• 46:14
week. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
• 46:16
the final segment of the night, dial it up.
• 46:19
  We interrupt this regularly scheduled.
• 46:20
Hot mix to bring your important news.
• 46:22
We got a big broadcast to do here.
• 46:25
We're about to dial it all. It up all right.
• 46:30
I like the old well, but that was a whole Kogan, you know?
• 46:33
No, actually this is just a picture of the old one.
• 46:36
It was. It's the same thing.
• 46:37
I just blew it up. Dial it up, everyone's favorite
• 46:41
  lightning round sports. Segments.
• 46:44
We got five stories. Errol hasn't heard him.
• 46:46
He's going to hear him right now.
• 46:48
He's going to dial up a take. Here's the first one.
• 46:52
Joe Missoula has had many interesting postgame, let's say
• 46:58
diatribes in his career as a Boston Celtics head coach.
• 47:03
Well, Jaylen Brown, who was ejected after getting 2
• 47:05
technicals, 1 from 1 referee and then another from a different
• 47:09
referee down the down the court, had a really weird comment when
• 47:15
he was defending him to the media.
• 47:18
I just give a ton of credit to my high school principal.
• 47:22
He had the balls to throw a student out.
• 47:25
He didn't leave it to the hall monitor when they pressed him
• 47:29
about it and had a follow up question that had nothing to do
• 47:32
with the principal had to do with Jaylen Brown.
• 47:34
He wrote. He just said he was a hell of a
• 47:37
principal and that was the interview.
• 47:39
Jaylen Brown was incensed after getting ejected.
• 47:43
He immediately took to social media.
• 47:45
He says this is what I this is the shit I'd be talking about
• 47:48
and went off. Obviously not happy Jason
• 47:54
Tatum's back. This was their first loss with
• 47:56
Tatum in the fold. Errol, another weird one from
• 48:00
Missoula and the seas. Dial it up.
• 48:04
I love Missoula. I think he's going to win coach
• 48:07
of the year. He's had a sensational year.
• 48:08
This team has played good team basketball defensively and
• 48:11
offensively. Jaylen Brown has been one of the
• 48:14
MVP candidates. He's had a great year, but this
• 48:17
selfish, disrespectful move to his own team to get 2 flagrant
• 48:24
fouls, I mean technical fouls and, and be thrown out of the
• 48:26
game the way he did. And then after Missoula goes out
• 48:29
and he says he says a lot of weird things to the media.
• 48:32
We seen him in the playoffs against the Knicks.
• 48:34
He was itching his head. He's always itching his head and
• 48:37
figuring out what to say and how he doesn't throw any of his
• 48:40
players under the bus. It made no sense.
• 48:42
I I know he's trying to cover for his players.
• 48:44
Jaylen Brown is a superstar, so he wants to make sure that he
• 48:48
doesn't throw him under the bus. But the answers that he has for
• 48:51
the media and even Jaylen Brown going to social media after that
• 48:56
and making his statements, it just makes him look so very bad.
• 49:00
I respect Jaylen Brown, I think he's a great person off the
• 49:03
court. He does a lot of good things,
• 49:05
but selfish, very selfish. Yeah, very odd analogy.
• 49:08
I know Fish, as a teacher, you're probably we're just as
• 49:11
weirded out by that old oh, this is a hell of a principal analogy
• 49:15
with that following an incident that was really just
• 49:18
controversial as it was like defending him after the
• 49:20
incident. So it was kind of weird.
• 49:21
He's gonna stick up for his player, I guess.
• 49:23
He always does. It's just it's a straight
• 49:25
approach of the way he did it. That's something I would have
• 49:27
  expected from him. When?
• 49:28
They do you remember what he did last year when he was down 3 O
• 49:31
to the Knicks? Remember when the media says,
• 49:34
what does it feel like being down to a team that you've been
• 49:36
superior to all these years? And he gave up.
• 49:40
He he said something stupid and that's all he really had to say
• 49:43
about it. He says, well, it was a fourth
• 49:46
  game. We're not out yet.
• 49:47
I'm like, and you listen to him and you'll just like, what are
• 49:50
  you talking about? It's over.
• 49:51
Nutsy, he's ever come back from that deficit at NBA.
• 49:53
It's just, yeah, good job. He's just out of his mind.
• 49:56
  I he's definitely a weird person.
• 49:58
There's no question. I would love, I would love to
• 50:00
have a conversation with his family.
• 50:02
That's for. Sure, never think that eccentric
• 50:04
though, but here we are. All right, I got another good
• 50:08
one coming for you in. Dial it up.
• 50:10
Next one on deck, after we get out of basketball, we're going
• 50:14
to take the trip back to the World Baseball Classic.
• 50:18
Errol. There was some controversy in
• 50:21
the Mexico game between some teammates.
• 50:24
Randy arose Arena and the big dumper, Cal Raleigh arose Arena
• 50:30
tried to DAP up the catcher. When he came to the plate, Cal
• 50:34
Raleigh was having none of it. After the game Arose, Arena
• 50:40
speaking in Spanish said I want to tell him FU in 4 languages.
• 50:46
The rest I'll tell him Cuban style.
• 50:49
He needs to go back to his effing house.
• 50:52
Mexican style go to hell and in English shove it up.
• 50:57
You're a double snakes Errol. Some teammates having some
• 51:01
issues, although Cal Raleigh says there's no beef at all.
• 51:05
Dial it up. I like Cal Raleigh.
• 51:08
He's playing for Team USA. He's paying for his callers.
• 51:11
He's paying. He's playing for his country and
• 51:14
you know, teammates, maybe teammates and and Cal Rally
• 51:17
said, you know, said what he felt when he was on the field
• 51:20
after the game and the game is the game.
• 51:22
And then after that, your teammates again, I think this is
• 51:25
good competition and you want to see players stick up for your
• 51:29
teammates. And you're playing for Team USA.
• 51:31
You're not you're not considered Seattle after after this
• 51:35
  tournament, you're back with Seattle.
• 51:36
I'm sure they can have a beer together and laugh about it.
• 51:39
I don't think it's a big deal, but the fact here is, is that
• 51:42
your former teammates, I mean, your your your former teammates,
• 51:45
teammates right now because you're playing for opposite
• 51:48
teams. But I I think Cal Rally has it
• 51:51
  right. Who cares?
• 51:53
It's it's just competition, friendly competition.
• 51:55
He took it to another level. Rally just said, listen, I'm not
• 51:58
having it. I'm not there to have a fun.
• 52:00
You know, I have a party with him.
• 52:02
I'm there to win. I'm here to win a championship.
• 52:04
So I like that. I like the competition.
• 52:06
It's always great to see like the type of like competitive
• 52:10
levels guys get when they in these tournaments.
• 52:12
Remember a few years ago, I forget which baseball class, it
• 52:15
must have been the last one where Trout got struck out by
• 52:19
Otani and they were both on the end.
• 52:20
That was a big deal. That was the last out.
• 52:22
  That was the last. Right.
• 52:24
So I think I just love seeing stuff like that.
• 52:27
Those are the types of things you want to see.
• 52:29
Like what would have happened if you know, guys on the same team
• 52:34
would have faced off of against each other.
• 52:36
Jeter had a chance to face, you know, like David Cone when they
• 52:40
were both on the you know. Mariano Rivera.
• 52:43
Tournament Mariano Rivera facing, you know, the middle of
• 52:46
the Yankees lineup that how cool would that have been?
• 52:49
You know what I mean? So I, I think it was a really
• 52:52
interesting thing. I obviously they're going to
• 52:54
squash it, but Randy Rosarina is a very interesting guy and he's
• 52:59
been, he's been in a few places now in the league from Cuba,
• 53:04
Mexico. I, I tell you, he was originally
• 53:06
Cuban and then he started playing for Team Mexico.
• 53:09
I guess he's half or something like that.
• 53:12
But Rosa Rosarena, he's a wild, wild guy.
• 53:17
Have you heard any stories about a Rose Arena over the years?
• 53:19
I've heard some but he's Cuban. There's a lot of crazy stories.
• 53:23
Dude, there's a former Met that made excuses about a wild boar
• 53:29
attacking him. I mean, we all know those
• 53:32
  Cubans. They're all unique individuals.
• 53:35
Hey, there's the Heisman Trophy winner, Fernando Mendoza.
• 53:37
He's Cuban. I can't wait to see him in the
• 53:39
NFL and some of the crazy stuff that's going to be happening
• 53:42
  over there with the. Raiders.
• 53:43
Maybe a suspect could go buy one of his cars.
• 53:45
Yeah, that's true too. So apparently he is.
• 53:49
He fled Cuba by boat in 2015 and then lived in Mexico after
• 53:56
surviving. But it's not a great story.
• 54:00
This is kind of sad. I'm going to stop reading it and
• 54:02
get back to the show. Here it is.
• 54:04
Next one we got up here. We're going to get out of
• 54:06
baseball and, I believe, head back over to some hoops with one
• 54:11
of your favorite coaches of all time, Golden State Warriors,
• 54:16
legendary coach Errol. If this thing's ever going to
• 54:19
move on, Steve Kerr, he said he came out and said it, He's
• 54:23
reiterating it. He can't stand the fact that he
• 54:27
just had a road trip for a week and a half and didn't have a
• 54:30
single day where he could have practice because we're playing
• 54:34
too many games. Back in the 90s we had practice.
• 54:37
Maybe they had more games, but they spread them out.
• 54:39
  I don't really know what's going on.
• 54:41
But Steve Kerr, he's keeps pushing this.
• 54:45
He knows it's not likely because of the money, but he thinks for
• 54:49
the long term health of the league they need to do the right
• 54:53
thing by the players. Dial it up.
• 54:55
All right, practice. Do we remember what Allen
• 54:59
  Iverson said? Practice, practice, Practice
• 55:03
means nothing. You go out there, you Got
• 55:05
Talent. Now all of a sudden you're
• 55:07
bitching and moaning because you got a bunch of old players.
• 55:10
Stop it. This is very Steve Kerr esque.
• 55:14
This is a guy that never complained about this.
• 55:16
When you had an elite team, you had Jimmy Buckets at A at a high
• 55:21
level when he came from Miami and you had Steph Curry.
• 55:25
And then a while ago you had, I don't know, Klay Thompson, Kevin
• 55:30
Durant, Draymond Green in the primes of their careers and you
• 55:33
weren't bitching and moaning about this.
• 55:35
Now all of a sudden you have a bunch of old players and now you
• 55:37
want 10 games knocked off of an 82 game season.
• 55:40
Get the hell out of here. You need something changed in
• 55:44
your brain because that's never going to happen.
• 55:47
If anything, they'll add games before they lose games.
• 55:49
There's a lot of money, there's a lot of TV deals that have to
• 55:52
have to be made and, and they're making it right now.
• 55:55
There's no way Adam Silver or the LJA is ever going to walk
• 55:59
away from that. That's the main thing I was
• 56:01
going to mention that. Just as you said it to, they
• 56:04
would have more than add games then take away games and we're
• 56:07
talking about 10 NBA games. Even when they had because if
• 56:11
you think about it, the last time they technically did have a
• 56:14
shortened season with 10 games as well was the season returning
• 56:17
back from the COVID pandemic in the 2021-2022 season.
• 56:21
  Now even with. That that.
• 56:23
  Format went straight inverted back.
• 56:25
  Right to the 82. Format.
• 56:27
I mean, if anything, then we had the tournament become a thing
• 56:30
now and then we also had the. Playing tournament, like there's
• 56:33
going to be ways that there's going to be more games added,
• 56:36
there's going to be more opportunity to sell tickets like
• 56:39
you mentioned, Darryl. And the fact is, is that that
• 56:41
comes down to coaching if you really think.
• 56:43
That your players are affected in any way like that.
• 56:46
Something's not being done at practice, something's not being
• 56:48
done in the coaching aspect only because you have a bunch of old
• 56:51
guys and like you said. All in the prime of their
• 56:54
careers. None of this complaining was was
• 56:56
even a thought in Steve Kerr's mind with the back-to-back
• 56:59
  championships that he was winning.
• 57:01
All right, let's move on. Errol, I don't know if you saw
• 57:05
this, but this is an all timer right here on screwing up.
• 57:11
That press guy I heard about this had one of the most
• 57:16
disastrous bachelor parties anyone can have.
• 57:20
It wasn't just a bachelor party. It was a joint bachelor and
• 57:23
Bachelorette party with his no longer fiance Sarah Jane Ramos.
• 57:31
So apparently during the event they were not talking.
• 57:37
It got awkward. He was seen and accused of being
• 57:43
unfaithful numerous times getting into the DMS on
• 57:48
Instagram, perhaps while he was there.
• 57:51
There were 250 people at this Bachelorette bachelor party who
• 57:58
got they stayed by afterwards and then sent an e-mail to all
• 58:02
of them informing them that the wedding in April in a couple of
• 58:06
weeks is now off. That was supposed to be in Lake
• 58:09
Como, Italy, after presumably a lot of money had been spent and
• 58:13
plane tickets and arrangements had already been bought and by
• 58:17
  these guests. Dial it up.
• 58:19
All right, I heard about this. We don't know the whole full
• 58:23
  story. It's a shame.
• 58:25
I like Dak. I don't know what happened.
• 58:28
It's crazy to have a bachelor and Bachelorette party.
• 58:32
You throw yourself under the bus when there are women there.
• 58:35
You, you know, this is the last time you're going to be single.
• 58:37
And a lot of people believe that when you're out with your boys,
• 58:40
you want to be away from the girls.
• 58:43
So I would have never done that. Now, I don't know what he does
• 58:45
in his private life and maybe he's DM ING people.
• 58:48
There's a lot of athletes. Kobe Bryant was cheating on his
• 58:50
  wife. Anybody remember that?
• 58:52
And he almost went to jail and thank God he had a very good
• 58:55
lawyer that made sure he got his panties.
• 58:57
Her, I'm sorry, her panties because they were different
• 59:01
semen specimens on them. So we all know what she was
• 59:04
doing in her a private life. But this is a horrible story.
• 59:08
If you think about Dak Proskan and everything that's happened
• 59:10
to him over the years, finally found a woman that he wanted to,
• 59:13
to get married with. He has a kid with.
• 59:15
And you think about it now, you, you lost your mom, you lost your
• 59:19
brother to suicide. You almost lost your career.
• 59:22
You've all the trials and tribulations you have.
• 59:24
And now you lost the person that you loved and you wanted to get
• 59:27
married to who has the I think your daughter.
• 59:30
  I think it's your daughter. It's a horrible story.
• 59:33
  I feel bad for Dak. I, I, I don't, I think he was
• 59:35
right. I don't know the whole story and
• 59:37
until I know the whole story I can't accuse him for anything.
• 59:40
But I'm sure he was unfaithful. All these athletes are
• 59:43
unfaithful when you're travelling around and hanging
• 59:46
out with your boys on your team. So it's unfortunate.
• 59:49
Yeah, they have two kids, two daughters.
• 59:52
It was a mutual agreement. There was no big argument, just
• 59:56
very awkward awkward situation the entire time apparently.
• 1:00:02
It's really, it's really kind of messed up on a couple of
• 1:00:05
different levels. If you think about it.
• 1:00:07
When you have a big celebration of getting together and being
• 1:00:11
married, the last thing you should be thinking about is
• 1:00:15
infidelity. So why #1 are you going to have
• 1:00:19
a massive bachelor party like you didn't have a million
• 1:00:21
awesome times in your life already and get yourself in
• 1:00:24
trouble? And two, if you wanted to have a
• 1:00:27
bachelor party like that, why would you also do it as a joint
• 1:00:32
Bachelorette party? There's no way that's not going
• 1:00:35
to go badly for you. I was actually part of one such
• 1:00:38
event when I was in my early 20s.
• 1:00:41
That wedding ended in divorce within a couple of years, and
• 1:00:45
that night was an unmitigated disaster.
• 1:00:49
It's just don't do it. Just don't unless you're going
• 1:00:52
to have a nice calm night and it's going to be more reserved,
• 1:00:55
in which case it's a good thing to do.
• 1:00:58
That was a mistake and a half by Dak.
• 1:01:00
Damn. All right, last one of the
• 1:01:02
night. We're going to stay salacious
• 1:01:05
here, Errol. I think Speedy's going to get to
• 1:01:08
talk about this one because I feel like the guy in the picture
• 1:01:12
here, Luke Cornett, if Speedy you were 7 feet tall, you kind
• 1:01:14
of look like this guy a little bit.
• 1:01:16
Luke Cornett made a big stink a couple of weeks ago about just
• 1:01:22
how derogatory the NBA's Atlanta Hawks were with their
• 1:01:27
promotional night of Magic City, which is the one of the famous
• 1:01:31
strip clubs in Atlanta. They were trying to drum up some
• 1:01:35
more fan fandom for the NBA. As we know big strip club
• 1:01:40
attendees many NBA players, as pictured in the picture of James
• 1:01:44
Harden and Lou Lemon pepper wings at 8:00 in the morning
• 1:01:48
during COVID at a strip club. Williams, all of these guys,
• 1:01:53
while they eventually have to suffer because Luke Cornett's
• 1:01:56
way got into the ears of Adam Silver, who said no soup for
• 1:02:02
you, Errol. There is no Magic City
• 1:02:05
promotional night. You're going to have to get your
• 1:02:08
kicks on Route 66. Dial it up.
• 1:02:13
  Who? Luke Cornett?
• 1:02:15
Didn't he play? For this night, Celtics
• 1:02:18
  Clippers. I, I think that's what I'm
• 1:02:20
  saying. Who?
• 1:02:21
It's Luke. I, I could care less what Luke
• 1:02:23
thinks. And the fact that Adam Silver
• 1:02:26
steps in again, one of the players opens their mouth and
• 1:02:29
Adam Silver does. He is all about the players.
• 1:02:33
He's not about the owners. This is the commissioner of
• 1:02:35
professional basketball. This has been a big problem.
• 1:02:38
The LJA has been running this league since he's come into the
• 1:02:43
league and Adam Silver is his bitch and to me it's pathetic.
• 1:02:48
I if you want to do something with Magic City and it's a strip
• 1:02:50
bar, who cares? It's all about raising and and
• 1:02:54
and making money and and promoting something.
• 1:02:56
It's a very popular thing over there in Atlanta.
• 1:02:59
Who cares? Does it really bother you that
• 1:03:01
much, Cornette? It shouldn't bother you.
• 1:03:05
What, because you're a dad? Because you're playing for the
• 1:03:07
  organization? Who cares?
• 1:03:10
It's all about making money. And if people are going to buy
• 1:03:12
the tickets to enjoy it and have a good time, then so be be hit.
• 1:03:16
And by the way, Adam Silver, I would hate to see you dancing on
• 1:03:20
top of a pole. That's all I'm going to say.
• 1:03:22
I would hate to see anyone dancing on top of a pole.
• 1:03:24
But yeah, there's other ways to do it, too.
• 1:03:26
You can promote the wings. You can promote some of the
• 1:03:28
other stuff too. Like there's a medium that could
• 1:03:30
go on that doesn't have to cancel the event entirely
• 1:03:33
either. Like, yeah, it's one of those
• 1:03:35
Atlanta staples. Obviously, Lou Williams I think
• 1:03:36
re popularized it with his COVID antics.
• 1:03:39
But yeah, there's other ways you can promote that kind of thing
• 1:03:41
rather than just forcing a team in the Atlanta Hawks to cancel
• 1:03:44
the event for something like local like they do giveaways
• 1:03:47
like give away some of the Wings player scores 20 points or.
• 1:03:50
Something speedy. That's actually what they were
• 1:03:52
going to do. They were going to have wings of
• 1:03:55
their famous lemon pepper wings. Atlanta rapper TI was going to
• 1:04:00
come out and have a performance and there was going to be a
• 1:04:04
  live. Podcast.
• 1:04:06
With the founder of Magic City and then they were giving people
• 1:04:10
hoodies and apparel. You know, it was a free giveaway
• 1:04:14
thing. But Luke Cornett said, you know,
• 1:04:16
it's bad for women and it's against the NB as responsibility
• 1:04:20
to protect women, which I guess, you know, having a profession
• 1:04:24
which is completely legal is not protecting women.
• 1:04:27
  I don't know. Please stop.
• 1:04:30
And that's and that's it boys. That's the last story and dial
• 1:04:33
it up and. That is the most ridiculous
• 1:04:36
story and and the fact here is people are getting free stuff
• 1:04:39
and wings and free hoodies. Why are you bitching and
• 1:04:42
moaning? You're going to get a free
• 1:04:43
hoodie, you're going to get wings.
• 1:04:44
What are you complaining about? Here's the problem.
• 1:04:47
Adam Silver allows these players to make decisions for him.
• 1:04:50
That is a big problem. This is what we've been
• 1:04:53
  complaining about. Adam Silver out.
• 1:04:55
Adam Silver is one of very few GM's over the years that doesn't
• 1:04:59
know how to speak himself in the ownership.
• 1:05:02
Who hires Adam Silver? The owners.
• 1:05:04
And look, the players are the ones that eliminated 2 owners.
• 1:05:08
They made mistakes. They did things that were
• 1:05:11
obviously absolutely discredited and terrible and they apologized
• 1:05:16
to it and they lost their organizations.
• 1:05:18
They lost their franchise franchises because the players
• 1:05:21
didn't like them. How do you, how do you push out
• 1:05:24
an owner that bought an organization?
• 1:05:26
How do you do that? It doesn't make any sense.
• 1:05:29
But Adam Silver, David Stern, David Stern's never did it.
• 1:05:33
David Stern running the NBA never pushed out an owner ever.
• 1:05:38
Ever. But Adam Silver did it to 2 two
• 1:05:43
in a 10 year span. It's pathetic and that shows you
• 1:05:46
how Adam Silver really cares about what the owners think and
• 1:05:50
and the owners are paying him there.
• 1:05:52
He's getting paid by these rich owners, not by the players.
• 1:05:56
And that's all I'm going to say about that.
• 1:05:57
The LJA, LeBron James Association, it's been a big
• 1:06:00
problem for the last couple of years, really the last 15 years
• 1:06:04
since LeBron James has taken over the league and and by
• 1:06:07
storm. And he is he was the best player
• 1:06:10
in the world. He's no longer the best player
• 1:06:12
in the world, but he still has a voice and the players are
• 1:06:15
following that voice. He has so much power outside of
• 1:06:19
the gym and even inside of the gym still in this world.
• 1:06:23
Luka Doncic can't stand him, and I can't wait until the offseason
• 1:06:27
when when LeBron James either decides to retire or goes to the
• 1:06:31
Cavaliers or wherever he decides to go, hopefully not the Knicks.
• 1:06:34
OK, well, Luca will be on a podcast and he's going to throw
• 1:06:39
LeBron James under the bus. You watch, Mark my words.
• 1:06:43
You're going to see this Luca and LeBron beef start when
• 1:06:46
LeBron James is no longer a Laker.
• 1:06:48
  Guarantee it. Book it.
• 1:06:49
And I'm going to tell you. I told you so.
• 1:06:51
I'm actually going to write a story about it tonight.
• 1:06:54
That's what I'm going to do because I do believe that Luca
• 1:06:57
and LeBron can't stand one another and it's going to come
• 1:07:01
out. Ladies and gentlemen, it is.
