- 0:34Speaker 3: eight and ninety three, you know, we've been in this
- 0:36Speaker 3: building twenty years and something just happened to me in
- 0:39Speaker 3: the bathroom that's never happened to me twenty years. None
- 0:42Speaker 3: if it's happened to you guys. I was in a
- 0:44Speaker 3: stall going to the bathroom and this guy walks in.
- 0:48Speaker 3: He's got a blue shirt on, and I see him
- 0:49Speaker 3: go to one of the urinals and I can't It's
- 0:52Speaker 3: like he's in a weird position at the journal because
- 0:54Speaker 3: I'm looking to the crack in the door, and then
- 0:56Speaker 3: he goes to the other journal and then he goes
- 0:59Speaker 3: to the next me this empty stall, and I don't
- 1:01Speaker 3: even think about it. I think he's going to the bathroom.
- 1:03Speaker 3: But I'm just sitting there doing my business. And then
- 1:05Speaker 3: I hear him say. He says to me, I'm just
- 1:08Speaker 3: pouring this down the drain here, partner.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Just relax. And I look and there's a drain and
- 1:12Speaker 2: he's pouring like chlorine or something in the drain. And
- 1:16Speaker 2: then he leaves.
- 1:20Speaker 4: He's taking of the building.
- 1:23Speaker 3: But the way he called me, partner, and the way
- 1:24Speaker 3: he said, oh, a casual, I'm just pouring this in
- 1:26Speaker 3: the train here, partner. And I look and it's his
- 1:28Speaker 3: hand the drains wrapped on my foot. So that's why
- 1:30Speaker 3: I guess he had to acknowledge me, because I think,
- 1:33Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know if I would have.
- 1:34Speaker 4: I wasn't even on my phone, Like I was like
- 1:36Speaker 4: a weird, right, Yeah, I've never witnessed that myself. Weird,
- 1:42Speaker 4: how bizarre.
- 1:43Speaker 3: So I gotta tell you something. So we were on
- 1:44Speaker 3: vacation last week and something happened to me. Last week.
- 1:46Speaker 3: I was on the second annual, second time I've done
- 1:50Speaker 3: this bike ride. I think I told you about the
- 1:51Speaker 3: last year. It's a crazy bike ride. My friend puts
- 1:54Speaker 3: it on it. He's done it for twenty nine years,
- 1:56Speaker 3: and this is the second year I was invited. It
- 1:57Speaker 3: took all three of my boys, and it's a fifteen
- 1:59Speaker 3: mile by It's fun. You have to be on a
- 2:02Speaker 3: crappy bike, and it's very difficult bike rides, very I
- 2:05Speaker 3: mean it's uphill so far, and then you come down
- 2:07Speaker 3: here really fast. Then you're riding on the beach, riding
- 2:09Speaker 3: on the sand, and then when you're in the sand
- 2:12Speaker 3: for the long part of the sand, sometimes depending on
- 2:14Speaker 3: the tide, you have to go in the ocean.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Sometimes you have to carry the bike over your head
- 2:18Speaker 2: over these rocks.
- 2:19Speaker 3: And why does it have to be a crappy bike
- 2:21Speaker 3: because the bikes didn't get ruined. Oh, because it's in
- 2:23Speaker 3: the sand and the ocean and stuff. So he doesn't
- 2:26Speaker 3: want anyone bring in expensive bikes.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Makes sense.
- 2:28Speaker 3: So I was on this bike ride and I thought,
- 2:31Speaker 3: I could, you know, make my way around these rocks.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Long story short, my bike in the water, went into
- 2:37Speaker 3: a ditch. I fell in the ocean and fell sideways.
- 2:40Speaker 3: My phone fell out right, and it was a I
- 2:43Speaker 3: mean fine, I wasn't hurt, but I was in the water, right,
- 2:46Speaker 3: and I say, grab my phone and saved my phone.
- 2:49Speaker 3: And then anyway, my phone stopped working about ten minutes
- 2:53Speaker 3: after that, and so I had to go get a
- 2:55Speaker 3: new phone. And I was kinda I was. I think
- 2:58Speaker 3: I was a day and a half out of phone,
- 2:59Speaker 3: and it was it was. It was a little crazy.
- 3:01Speaker 3: But at the same time, I was like, I was
- 3:03Speaker 3: with my wife and kids, so everybody I needed to
- 3:05Speaker 3: get a hold of was there.
- 3:06Speaker 2: And if it was an.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Emergency here, I think eventually, you guys, would you end
- 3:09Speaker 3: up getting whole Bake's phone?
- 3:10Speaker 4: Sure?
- 3:10Speaker 2: Right, So I was like I was at peace, but
- 3:12Speaker 2: it was for a little bit stress and then it
- 3:15Speaker 2: was like it felt good.
- 3:17Speaker 4: How long did it take for the stress to turn
- 3:19Speaker 4: to relief? Because when you first start checking for your
- 3:21Speaker 4: phone and you don't have it, it flips you out.
- 3:23Speaker 3: But then at some point, well I kept trying to
- 3:25Speaker 3: turn it would turn on for a second and turn off,
- 3:26Speaker 3: turn off.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I could turn off, you know.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Well, first of all, one thing I discovered, if you guys,
- 3:30Speaker 3: remember my shoes squeak a lot, But if you put
- 3:33Speaker 3: your shoes in the ocean.
- 3:35Speaker 2: They don't squeak anymore.
- 3:37Speaker 5: Huh after they dry or while they're still.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Wet, still they still squeak.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Okay, weren't in this morning. It must be something in
- 3:42Speaker 3: the salt, Yeah, salt, and saying, I mean there was
- 3:45Speaker 3: no squeak. I couldn't believe it.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I got it. Can never get rid of them now
- 3:47Speaker 2: because they don't squeak.
- 3:48Speaker 4: It mean you need to take one trip to the
- 3:49Speaker 4: beach with each pair of shoes.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Always put it.
- 3:52Speaker 3: So I went to go get my phone, and that
- 3:55Speaker 3: whole process sucks. I just hate getting into the apps
- 3:59Speaker 3: and getting you know what, you get your past or stuff.
- 4:01Speaker 3: It's just such a pain and about right. But I
- 4:04Speaker 3: was thinking about it during that time was when Tato
- 4:06Speaker 3: Swift got married, and I was thinking about her wedding invitations.
- 4:09Speaker 3: How she sent out like a thousand invitations to a
- 4:12Speaker 3: thousand people. And I was sitting just bored, waiting at
- 4:15Speaker 3: the Apple store for my phone for them to get
- 4:17Speaker 3: my phone anything, and I thought, wow, a thousand people,
- 4:21Speaker 3: Like I could never invite a thousand people to my wedding,
- 4:23Speaker 3: And I thought, do I even know a thousand people?
- 4:25Speaker 3: So I thought she has at least a thousand people
- 4:27Speaker 3: in her contacts? So I thought, there's no way I
- 4:30Speaker 3: have a thousand people in my contacts. Do you guys
- 4:32Speaker 3: know how many people you have in your contacts?
- 4:33Speaker 6: I do know, but probably a lot.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Look will you because I looked?
- 4:36Speaker 7: How do you see?
- 4:37Speaker 2: You go to your well, at least on the iPhone,
- 4:39Speaker 2: you go to your contacts and you scroll all the
- 4:40Speaker 2: way down.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Okay, you scroll because here's.
- 4:43Speaker 2: What I thought. Okay, just for fun? Do you have more?
- 4:46Speaker 3: Or if you just assume that Taytor Swift has a
- 4:48Speaker 3: thousand contacts, do you have more or less?
- 4:51Speaker 2: Tightened? I have less?
- 4:52Speaker 3: You have?
- 4:52Speaker 2: How many contacts do you have less than Tator Swift?
- 4:56Speaker 8: Well?
- 4:56Speaker 6: I have nine hundred and ten total?
- 4:58Speaker 3: Right?
- 4:58Speaker 2: What else is there?
- 5:00Speaker 6: You're saying like I thought you were.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I don't know nine hundred ten? Have had a thousand?
- 5:05Speaker 2: She had? She had at least a thousand people in
- 5:07Speaker 2: her contact? Which one do you have? And I know?
- 5:11Speaker 7: For you?
- 5:11Speaker 4: You write down, you put on every fricking phone number.
- 5:13Speaker 4: I don't throw away phone number, So I have more.
- 5:15Speaker 4: I didn't think I would have more.
- 5:16Speaker 9: I do.
- 5:16Speaker 2: How many do you have?
- 5:17Speaker 4: Six thousand two moh, I definitely have.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Six thousand friends.
- 5:26Speaker 4: That's thousand, two hundred and sixty nine couns a lot
- 5:28Speaker 4: of people.
- 5:29Speaker 2: What about you, Kyle, I.
- 5:30Speaker 10: Don't know how to see a number. It doesn't want
- 5:31Speaker 10: to scroll down, it doesn't stand. I'm trying to figure
- 5:34Speaker 10: it out right now. But I think maybe it's somewhere
- 5:36Speaker 10: in between.
- 5:38Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Why did mine and I couldn't believe it? How many?
- 5:41Speaker 3: Uh two thy one hundred and sixty nine? It's a lot,
- 5:45Speaker 3: I know, but there's no way I know these people.
- 5:47Speaker 6: But your guys like networked so well, so that doesn't shock.
- 5:50Speaker 5: I know, it doesn't shock.
- 5:52Speaker 6: Half of those are personal friends.
- 5:54Speaker 5: And you know a lot of people.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I have the White House on here.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Let's call him right now?
- 5:59Speaker 2: What the White House? I mean? I just don't I
- 6:03Speaker 2: don't know some of these people.
- 6:04Speaker 3: I mean, I guess you know, for years and years
- 6:06Speaker 3: and years not talking to people like I don't know
- 6:08Speaker 3: who some of these people are.
- 6:09Speaker 4: But anyway, well, when would be the last time you
- 6:11Speaker 4: were on the phone with the White House for why?
- 6:13Speaker 7: What?
- 6:14Speaker 4: Would it be a radio segment or something like that.
- 6:16Speaker 4: We'd like, I thought'd be cool to save the number
- 6:18Speaker 4: it's all caps. That's somebody else. I don't is it
- 6:21Speaker 4: white house, black market looking for some nor So that was.
- 6:25Speaker 3: A I just thought that was an interesting tit or
- 6:27Speaker 3: something because I to invite a thousand people to your wedding.
- 6:31Speaker 3: So then so wait, also on this vacation. So then
- 6:34Speaker 3: I went, no, I'll tell you this story later. I
- 6:37Speaker 3: have another story to tell you. Guys, tied into this,
- 6:39Speaker 3: tied into my new phone? Well, are you back in
- 6:41Speaker 3: on all your are your passwords all loaded up?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Did you?
- 6:43Speaker 4: Are you good?
- 6:45Speaker 3: Well, if you get a new phone like what I did,
- 6:47Speaker 3: I think what you realize is it's it's an ongoing thing.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Like also, I gotta turn off my alarm. Oh my,
- 6:52Speaker 3: I don't have a I'm not logged in. Oh I
- 6:54Speaker 3: got to go to this thing. I'm not logged in.
- 6:56Speaker 3: So there's a lot of things I'm not logged in on.
- 6:58Speaker 5: That I'm just waiting, and then you have to go
- 7:00Speaker 5: in and reset your past with that.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I don't ever want a new phone.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Are you attaching it to your car? That's another pain
- 7:07Speaker 4: in the ass.
- 7:07Speaker 3: That's what you said. That wasn't a problem at all. Really,
- 7:09Speaker 3: I got in my car and did yeah, yeah, that
- 7:13Speaker 3: wasn't everything else is the problem that all the apps
- 7:16Speaker 3: like Netflix that had to get I had to call
- 7:18Speaker 3: my son because he's the phone number on the account,
- 7:20Speaker 3: and I had to get past. I mean it was
- 7:23Speaker 3: like pain in the ass. Anyway, who's got more contacts
- 7:26Speaker 3: on their phone than Rich eight seven seven nine three
- 7:29Speaker 3: seven one four seven.
- 7:30Speaker 2: He's got six thousand contacts? Crazy?
- 7:35Speaker 11: Did you.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Check in with John Day?
- 7:39Speaker 9: Rich?
- 7:39Speaker 11: Did you get hit the top.
- 7:42Speaker 2: That mic pay must have ved for horoscopes?
- 7:45Speaker 7: Well, I'm just letting you know how the rest of
- 7:46Speaker 7: your day is going to go, as well as the
- 7:48Speaker 7: rest of the week based on your zodiac sign. If
- 7:50Speaker 7: it's your birthday. We are still in cancer season and
- 7:53Speaker 7: you share a birthday with Jane Lynch and tiny O Ca.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Well, I think we got a cancer, Kayla?
- 7:58Speaker 9: Is it true?
- 7:59Speaker 2: Are you a cancer?
- 8:02Speaker 9: All day?
- 8:03Speaker 11: All right?
- 8:03Speaker 6: Love it all right?
- 8:05Speaker 7: So for my cancers today, you guys are actually feeling
- 8:07Speaker 7: extra soft today. You kind of just want to curl
- 8:10Speaker 7: up under your desk with a giant, fuzzy blanket blanket.
- 8:14Speaker 7: But you are doing your absolute best to be a
- 8:16Speaker 7: brave little soldier today. But a slightly direct email tone
- 8:20Speaker 7: might actually send you into a spiral, so keep an eye.
- 8:22Speaker 12: Up for that, all right, look out, Thank you, thank you, Whitney.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Hello Whitney, capricorn.
- 8:33Speaker 6: All right, So for my capricorns this morning, you are
- 8:36Speaker 6: actually tackling today like a high powered ceo. You are
- 8:39Speaker 6: crushing your.
- 8:40Speaker 7: Goals with efficiency, and you look incredibly good and put
- 8:43Speaker 7: together while doing it. But you are quietly manifesting a
- 8:47Speaker 7: massive promotion while everyone else is still yawning. So keep
- 8:50Speaker 7: up with that, because come Leo season, that manifestation really
- 8:53Speaker 7: might work out for you.
- 8:56Speaker 9: Sounds great. Thanks Peyton, You're welcome.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Thanks Whitney, have a great day you too. Mary Kay,
- 9:02Speaker 2: good morning, Hi, good morning, good morning. What's your sign?
- 9:07Speaker 13: I'm an aries?
- 9:08Speaker 7: All right, So for my aries, your vibe for the
- 9:10Speaker 7: day and the rest of the week. You have officially
- 9:12Speaker 7: run out of patients and you are running on peer
- 9:15Speaker 7: high velocity iced coffee energy.
- 9:17Speaker 6: Today. You are zooming through.
- 9:19Speaker 7: Your task like a little firecracker, desperately wanting to fight
- 9:22Speaker 7: anyone who types too slowly in your work group chat.
- 9:25Speaker 7: You're trying to get to the business today.
- 9:28Speaker 13: That's pretty much accurate every day of my life.
- 9:33Speaker 12: Hell that's great.
- 9:36Speaker 13: Well, now I know what to look forward to for
- 9:38Speaker 13: the day.
- 9:38Speaker 2: How about four patis for rich Yeah?
- 9:40Speaker 7: Rich as always, You're floating through the day in slow motion.
- 9:44Speaker 7: You're kind of in this nostalgic case right now, though,
- 9:46Speaker 7: and you're completely forgetting literally everything, like from where you
- 9:50Speaker 7: put your keys or your phone every five minutes. You
- 9:52Speaker 7: are just a sweet daydreamer today, waiting for the clock
- 9:55Speaker 7: to start five.
- 9:56Speaker 6: So you can go and take a nap.
- 9:58Speaker 4: That's for the best.
- 10:00Speaker 6: You need one of those to get through the rest
- 10:01Speaker 6: of the week, that's for sure.
- 10:03Speaker 7: How about libras Yeah, Kyle, you are trapped in a
- 10:06Speaker 7: hilarious psychological crisis right now trying to decide.
- 10:10Speaker 6: What you want to order for lunch today.
- 10:12Speaker 7: You want to please everyone's palette at the office group chat,
- 10:15Speaker 7: and you are completely exhausting yourself over a basic salad
- 10:18Speaker 7: choice just to keep the vibes immaculate. So I'm here
- 10:20Speaker 7: to tell you for the rest of the week, don't
- 10:22Speaker 7: make any decisions because they're probably going to be the
- 10:24Speaker 7: wrong ones.
- 10:26Speaker 5: Okay, so then what do I eat?
- 10:29Speaker 6: You're having air for you?
- 10:31Speaker 2: How about hergos?
- 10:32Speaker 12: John Jay?
- 10:33Speaker 6: You are in absolute peak form right now.
- 10:35Speaker 7: You are fixing everyone else's messy mistakes before they even happen,
- 10:38Speaker 7: and you look adorable with your neat little notebooks over there,
- 10:41Speaker 7: even if your eyes aren't quietly screaming at the utter
- 10:44Speaker 7: lack of structure around you.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I can't read what I wrote in my notebook because
- 10:47Speaker 2: my handwriting is so terrible. How about for you for
- 10:50Speaker 2: Leo's Yeah.
- 10:51Speaker 7: Leo's we are entirely carrying the morale of the room
- 10:54Speaker 7: on our back today with our bright main character Sunshine.
- 10:58Speaker 7: We are going to be completely overwhelmed by our layout, though,
- 11:01Speaker 7: but we do refuse to let anyone else see us
- 11:03Speaker 7: looking anything less than completely studying for the rest of
- 11:06Speaker 7: the week.
- 11:06Speaker 3: All right, if you get to your sign they, I'll
- 11:08Speaker 3: post it on our Websitecular Spectacular one four seven Kiss FM,
- 11:18Speaker 3: John Jy and Rich Hi Kylie.
- 11:20Speaker 9: I was up, guys, have.
- 11:23Speaker 14: The craziest situation that happened really so a while ago,
- 11:28Speaker 14: my roommate started disappearing every Thursday night and she just
- 11:32Speaker 14: got so weird about her phone.
- 11:36Speaker 15: She'd like, she'd take calls outside and then her location
- 11:39Speaker 15: was always off, and she started coming home at like
- 11:42Speaker 15: two in the morning, Like, what is wrong.
- 11:44Speaker 9: With this girl?
- 11:45Speaker 15: I honestly thought she she had a secret boyfriend.
- 11:49Speaker 14: This was the only explanation.
- 11:52Speaker 15: And then one night I just whirled her about it
- 11:54Speaker 15: and I found out she was frequently helping her exes
- 11:59Speaker 15: new girlfriend figure.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Out if he was cheating. Whoa spy mission? When does
- 12:05Speaker 4: this happen?
- 12:06Speaker 14: And so I was obviously in shock.
- 12:08Speaker 15: And so apparently this girl had come to my roommate
- 12:11Speaker 15: for help, and for months this had been going on.
- 12:14Speaker 14: It's like a full investigation.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Well, how long does it take to get a bus
- 12:17Speaker 4: or a une bust? Shouldn't take months?
- 12:19Speaker 2: Could have called us?
- 12:21Speaker 9: Oh, they went like all out.
- 12:22Speaker 15: They did the fake accounts that she was showing me
- 12:25Speaker 15: this like once I actually asked her. They had screenshots,
- 12:28Speaker 15: they did steak out literally everything.
- 12:31Speaker 7: I feel like they needed to recruit you and like
- 12:34Speaker 7: their little detective stuff too, because the fact that you
- 12:36Speaker 7: clocked your friend being were with your friend, like we
- 12:38Speaker 7: heard all the time with your boyfriends or girlfriends.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Was he cheating?
- 12:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean yeah, caught him? They did.
- 12:48Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 12:48Speaker 15: And then the craziest thing is they they caught him.
- 12:51Speaker 13: And after that they became best friends.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Oh, you know, my.
- 12:55Speaker 15: Roommate spends more time with this like new girlfriend than
- 12:59Speaker 15: she ever did with the act actual X.
- 13:02Speaker 2: That is pretty funny. I've heard that before though.
- 13:05Speaker 3: I've heard that where girls catch the boyfriend cheating with
- 13:09Speaker 3: someone else and they become friends. I think we can
- 13:11Speaker 3: talk about somebody like that on the air. And now
- 13:12Speaker 3: they go on trips together and they do stuff that
- 13:14Speaker 3: become best friends. Happens all the time on reality TV. Well,
- 13:18Speaker 3: thank you for calling in, Kylie, have a great day.
- 13:21Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 13:23Speaker 3: One oh four to seven Kiss FM, John Jay Richard,
- 13:25Speaker 3: so earlier, I'll tell you how to get a new phone,
- 13:27Speaker 3: and I'll tell you it was on this bike ride
- 13:28Speaker 3: for fourth or July, right, so something else happened.
- 13:31Speaker 2: I met this Fourth of July party.
- 13:32Speaker 3: At the end of the bike ride, there's a party, right,
- 13:35Speaker 3: So I'm at this party and I'm talking to the
- 13:37Speaker 3: guy who's a friend of mine at his house and
- 13:39Speaker 3: there's a lot of people at this party.
- 13:40Speaker 2: And one of the guys that meet the party is
- 13:42Speaker 2: a cop. He's a sheriff. And my friend asks him.
- 13:45Speaker 3: And says, you know, they're talking about guns and stuff
- 13:47Speaker 3: and I don't have a gun, you know, And he goes,
- 13:49Speaker 3: you're talking about their shooting range. And then my friend
- 13:52Speaker 3: had told me about this hamburger stand in San Diego
- 13:55Speaker 3: called Tanners. You guys ever heard of Tanners. No, it's
- 13:58Speaker 3: in Oceanside, California. It's a smash burger and it's got
- 14:02Speaker 3: some special wag goop beef and it's there's lines around
- 14:05Speaker 3: the block to get in this place. So he goes,
- 14:08Speaker 3: I want to take you. Let's go, but we got
- 14:10Speaker 3: to go ten thirty in the morning because there's a line.
- 14:11Speaker 3: You can't get in there after that.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 14:13Speaker 3: So I was like, I googled it. My son he'd
- 14:16Speaker 3: seen it on Instagram. It's one of those Instagram restaurants.
- 14:18Speaker 2: He's packed. So I'm like, all right.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Then talking to the cop and and he says to me,
- 14:21Speaker 3: they're talking about shooting. And my friend says to me, Hey,
- 14:24Speaker 3: after we get burgers, we'll go to the gun range.
- 14:25Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, I thought it was just one of
- 14:28Speaker 3: those things you just say that we're just gonna say
- 14:30Speaker 3: this is this is on what's forced the July for
- 14:33Speaker 3: what was that Saturday Friday or yeah, so Saturday, we're
- 14:36Speaker 3: gonna go to the burger join on Monday. So he
- 14:38Speaker 3: texts me on Monday and he says, hey, you want
- 14:39Speaker 3: to go to burgerge RG. But yeah, he goes, who
- 14:41Speaker 3: in your family wants to come? Well, my son Kemp
- 14:43Speaker 3: and his girlfriend Catherine wanted to come. He goes, all right,
- 14:45Speaker 3: So the fourth five of us go to the burger
- 14:47Speaker 3: joint in ocean side Tanners. Fantastic, by the way, I'd
- 14:50Speaker 3: go out of my way to go.
- 14:51Speaker 4: Really.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it's an ocean side California. It's called Tanners. Get
- 14:55Speaker 3: the burgers.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Were done.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Driving home, he goes, He's like, you guys have your
- 14:59Speaker 3: driver's life. Since we're like, yeah, it's all right, we're
- 15:01Speaker 3: going to the gun range. I'm like huh and they're
- 15:05Speaker 3: like what And I go, oh, I said to my son,
- 15:07Speaker 3: I go, yeah, he said we're gonna get burgers to
- 15:09Speaker 3: go to the gun range. And Kevin goes, don't you
- 15:12Speaker 3: think you should get me a heads up with that?
- 15:13Speaker 3: And I go, yeah, I got. I didn't know that
- 15:15Speaker 3: was gonna happen. I thought it was just because the
- 15:18Speaker 3: cop was talking, and I just thought it was something.
- 15:20Speaker 3: So we go to this said yes, I said yes,
- 15:22Speaker 3: but I didn't. It was just so like you know
- 15:24Speaker 3: what I mean, it was just like talking to the cop.
- 15:27Speaker 3: No good burgers, We'll go to the gun range. After
- 15:29Speaker 3: it's a cop walked away, never talked about it again.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I saw the guy ten more times before we went
- 15:33Speaker 3: on Monday to the up. So we go to this
- 15:35Speaker 3: gun range and he brings his gun, his gun, and
- 15:38Speaker 3: he brings twenty rounds of AMMO or eighty rounds of
- 15:40Speaker 3: eighty rounds of AMMO. And he's like, uh, we get in,
- 15:43Speaker 3: we fill out papers, We're going to this gun range.
- 15:45Speaker 2: We start. I don't want to shoot the gun. I
- 15:46Speaker 2: don't like shooting guns.
- 15:48Speaker 3: But I went through it anyway, and I shoot the
- 15:49Speaker 3: gun a couple of times and I ripped my thumb
- 15:51Speaker 3: open check back. Yeah, they called it a snake bite.
- 15:55Speaker 3: I got a lot of comments calling a sink bite.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Ripped my thumb, in my blood everywhere. Oh it's terrible.
- 16:01Speaker 3: It was just there so here. I was a couple
- 16:03Speaker 3: days before I fell into the water, ruined my phone,
- 16:06Speaker 3: fixed my shoes. Then I got this thing where I
- 16:08Speaker 3: got the gun range thing.
- 16:10Speaker 2: I thought about. You know, Peyton, did you get hurt
- 16:11Speaker 2: on vacation?
- 16:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I also had an injury over our vacation. I
- 16:15Speaker 6: was at the Hillary Dove concert and this is what
- 16:19Speaker 6: dreams are made of? Song came on and of course
- 16:21Speaker 6: I'm freaking out.
- 16:22Speaker 7: And I'm jumping up and down and I landed like
- 16:24Speaker 7: I kind of jumped up and forward a little bit, and.
- 16:27Speaker 6: When I came down, my leg hit the cup holder
- 16:31Speaker 6: and I woke up with this wo to hit the
- 16:34Speaker 6: cup holder.
- 16:37Speaker 2: The cup holder on top of it gets so bad.
- 16:40Speaker 7: And I was with my best friend Kelsey, and I
- 16:41Speaker 7: was like, bitch, I just hurt myself, like this really hurts.
- 16:44Speaker 7: And she's like, You're fine. She's like kissing her hand
- 16:47Speaker 7: and rubbing it. I saw her two days later and pacing.
- 16:49Speaker 7: I was like, does this look fine to you?
- 16:52Speaker 14: Not fine?
- 16:52Speaker 6: Does that look fine to you? And I bruise really easily,
- 16:55Speaker 6: like I already know that, like all over my legs.
- 16:57Speaker 6: So I'm like, do I have low ironmazing.
- 17:02Speaker 7: Is?
- 17:03Speaker 6: It's like it looks like I got hit in the
- 17:05Speaker 6: leg with a baseball.
- 17:07Speaker 4: It's a giant circle.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Will you post it? Yeah, I'll send you might We'll
- 17:11Speaker 3: post my bloody fingers.
- 17:12Speaker 6: And got my major number one insecurity of my thighs.
- 17:16Speaker 2: But sure, whyture.
- 17:18Speaker 6: I just have really big thighs.
- 17:20Speaker 7: One time, I was in the seventh grade and I
- 17:21Speaker 7: sat down and this guy told me that my legs
- 17:24Speaker 7: were like the size of Australia.
- 17:27Speaker 6: I was like, that's rude, So I'm super. They just
- 17:31Speaker 6: when I sit down, they just like take up the whole.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Everyone's when you sit down, your legs squish on there.
- 17:37Speaker 3: That picture look doesn't look like it. The picture looks
- 17:39Speaker 3: like you're tough. In fact, there's a picture I saw
- 17:41Speaker 3: of Kyle on vacation. I was like, okay, quad, you
- 17:44Speaker 3: got a quad muscle popping out.
- 17:52Speaker 5: I have no clue.
- 17:54Speaker 10: I think, like Payton, all of your worst insecurities get
- 17:58Speaker 10: pointed out when you have kids. Because every I walked
- 18:00Speaker 10: like mommy buttled jiggly, shut.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Up but supposed to be taking Why she still? Those
- 18:11Speaker 2: are the things they said to you.
- 18:13Speaker 4: I would be likeas there's Sam.
- 18:18Speaker 5: And they'll just like touch and they'll just like touch
- 18:22Speaker 5: where there's.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Fat fat, Oh my god, are the vest that's the best.
- 18:29Speaker 3: All right, We'll post the pictures of Peyton's bruise, my
- 18:32Speaker 3: bloody finger and if you got hurt on vacation call
- 18:34Speaker 3: us at eight seven seven ninety seven one four seven.
- 18:37Speaker 3: I had this buddy mine, the son of my friend.
- 18:40Speaker 3: He was getting there, get this, he's getting this happened
- 18:42Speaker 3: a month ago, getting married on Sunday. Wakes up, you know,
- 18:47Speaker 3: the Sunday before, just woke up. He was stretching his
- 18:49Speaker 3: leg in bed, broke his tours moniscus. Oh, had to
- 18:54Speaker 3: have surgery, and we're a one of those braces on
- 18:57Speaker 3: his wedding day.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Oh my, being in bed.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Just how you do that stretches a threat that's almost
- 19:03Speaker 3: feels like you're a bust out of your skin.
- 19:05Speaker 2: He was doing that and then he towards anyway. John
- 19:10Speaker 2: Jay and Rich.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Is John Jay and Rich John for stacks and hacks.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I have stacks of information and Rich has life hacks.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I guess.
- 19:24Speaker 3: The New Analysis Company tracked Google search data from January
- 19:28Speaker 3: through last week to rank the most searched word definitions
- 19:32Speaker 3: in the United States. I have the top ten, and
- 19:35Speaker 3: I have googled one of these before, actually two of
- 19:38Speaker 3: these before. I have actually googled the number one list.
- 19:41Speaker 3: And how did you guys explaining.
- 19:42Speaker 2: To me before?
- 19:43Speaker 4: So the word that you don't understand, you don't.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Understand the definition. The number one word is gaslighting. Ah,
- 19:49Speaker 2: yeah right.
- 19:50Speaker 3: The other ones are democracy, culture, narcissist, metaphor, integrity, fascism,
- 19:56Speaker 3: and empathy.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I have.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Also one of the words I looked up with empathy.
- 20:01Speaker 4: If you have to look it up, you probably don't
- 20:03Speaker 4: understand it.
- 20:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Hey, I came up with a word this morning while
- 20:05Speaker 3: I was in the hot tub, and I don't know
- 20:06Speaker 3: if if I feel it. Came up with two words
- 20:10Speaker 3: that I want to use a lot.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I want to.
- 20:11Speaker 3: You know, I like to use words wrong sometimes, and
- 20:13Speaker 3: this is a two words I came up with that
- 20:15Speaker 3: I want to use in a sentence that I think
- 20:18Speaker 3: if I know the proper definitions, I'm getting wrong. I'm
- 20:21Speaker 3: calling it mental ambiguity.
- 20:26Speaker 4: There they go, they go back, they go back to back.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Yeah, it sounds like you got a case of mental ambiguity,
- 20:32Speaker 3: or just I want to. I came up with it
- 20:35Speaker 3: this morning, and it sounds smart.
- 20:37Speaker 6: It is.
- 20:37Speaker 5: If we were to look it up, what would the
- 20:39Speaker 5: definition be.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know. It's kind of like that.
- 20:43Speaker 4: That means it's mental ambiguity. If you don't know what
- 20:45Speaker 4: I guess you're right.
- 20:47Speaker 7: Literally, mental ambiguity refers to situations where there is lack
- 20:51Speaker 7: of clear or distinct information. Also, it means something, yeah,
- 20:56Speaker 7: you didn't make it up to multiple interpretations and outcomes, so.
- 21:00Speaker 4: It couldn't mean anything.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Oh yeah, as a bummer because I like, like, like
- 21:04Speaker 3: the other day, I got a text with somebody and
- 21:07Speaker 3: they were complimenting something they saw on my Instagram, and
- 21:09Speaker 3: I told them, I said, oh my god, thank you
- 21:11Speaker 3: so much.
- 21:12Speaker 2: I'm so humbled and belittled, belittled, and they just moved on.
- 21:16Speaker 2: They didn't get it, like they.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Didn't get my sense of being ready. Have you guys
- 21:20Speaker 3: ever heard of type two fun? No, type too fun?
- 21:24Speaker 2: I actually I don't know. I am a big fan
- 21:26Speaker 2: of it, but I'm a big person. I do it.
- 21:27Speaker 2: I think we all do it.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Type two fun is where you have fond memories of
- 21:32Speaker 3: something that was actually miserable while it was happening. I
- 21:36Speaker 3: think if you talk about the mud runs you've been.
- 21:37Speaker 6: On, yeah, that was not a good time.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Was not even fun now talking about.
- 21:41Speaker 6: It, no, looking back, Yeah, I would never ever do
- 21:44Speaker 6: that again.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Like when I talk about the time that we almost
- 21:47Speaker 3: all got fired because of my mishap. That was terrible
- 21:50Speaker 3: living through it, But now I think about it's funny, hilarious.
- 21:53Speaker 3: That's type that's called type two fun.
- 21:55Speaker 4: I was thinking about our time, our show, when our
- 21:57Speaker 4: show was on in Las Vegas, and yeah, well it
- 22:02Speaker 4: was terrible during the time. A couple of things that
- 22:04Speaker 4: we had to do sucked, like we had to wait
- 22:06Speaker 4: park for listeners at the park all day. It was horrible,
- 22:09Speaker 4: but it's sorry.
- 22:11Speaker 10: This past weekend in Vegas, the kids wanted to do
- 22:13Speaker 10: the Lazy River at our hotel and we did, and
- 22:16Speaker 10: we were doing it in between when we were about
- 22:18Speaker 10: to go to the show, and I did not want
- 22:19Speaker 10: to get my hair wet, and the kids were like splashing,
- 22:21Speaker 10: and I was.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Like, I hate my life right now. But now I
- 22:24Speaker 5: look back and I'm like, that was cute time.
- 22:27Speaker 6: That it would be because it's like it's fun.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a great story to tell.
- 22:33Speaker 6: How stupid I mean to waste eight hours of my
- 22:35Speaker 6: life and not even get in the way.
- 22:38Speaker 2: And didn't get in. You just reach How did you
- 22:42Speaker 2: get your hair wet? Did you go in the water?
- 22:44Speaker 5: I got a little wet. I did not go all
- 22:46Speaker 5: the way in because I had to. I had to
- 22:47Speaker 5: be ready to be ready for a show.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Twenty eight percent of people believe they could score in
- 22:53Speaker 3: the World Cup during.
- 22:54Speaker 4: A penalty kick. It's a BIG's there's no way.
- 22:57Speaker 6: There's no way.
- 22:58Speaker 3: There's no way I could never do that. I could never,
- 22:59Speaker 3: I can never. There's no I don't even think there's
- 23:02Speaker 3: no way I could score. Those guys are too good
- 23:04Speaker 3: against a real goalie.
- 23:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:05Speaker 6: Uh.
- 23:06Speaker 3: If you can't keep anything green alive, and I know
- 23:08Speaker 3: we've tried that in here, Kyle, you had something in
- 23:10Speaker 3: here for while I was still in here.
- 23:11Speaker 5: I still have a snake plant alive on my desk,
- 23:13Speaker 5: but it is shriveling up. It doesn't look healthy.
- 23:15Speaker 3: If you can't keep anything green alive. This is catching
- 23:18Speaker 3: on in the UK right now. They've invented hospitals for houseplants.
- 23:23Speaker 5: Believe I actually just my husband is my hospital for
- 23:26Speaker 5: a house plant.
- 23:27Speaker 2: You bust in there, you pull up and you run
- 23:29Speaker 2: out there with a ficus.
- 23:32Speaker 9: Quick.
- 23:32Speaker 4: I need some monuments with vest water the.
- 23:36Speaker 7: Work.
- 23:37Speaker 5: It doesn't work.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Chicago was once again the nation's city with the highest
- 23:41Speaker 3: rate of bedbug infestations. Los Angeles is second, Detroit, Cleveland,
- 23:46Speaker 3: and Indianapolis round out the top five. Indianapolis, I was
- 23:48Speaker 3: there and there were bugs. I put bugs on the
- 23:51Speaker 3: on my Instagram because they were in my hotel. Remember,
- 23:55Speaker 3: did you guys see this? I've never heard of this
- 23:57Speaker 3: airline called Ryan Air, but Ryanair passer was sucked out
- 24:01Speaker 3: of the shattered plane window up to his shoulders during
- 24:03Speaker 3: a flight on Friday. Yes, pastors held him down to
- 24:06Speaker 3: prevent more of his body being pulled out. The plane
- 24:08Speaker 3: landed safely. The guy was unconscious, but he's okay.
- 24:10Speaker 6: How scared?
- 24:11Speaker 4: Did they just give him like some drink coupons for
- 24:13Speaker 4: his next flight?
- 24:14Speaker 2: I've never heard it before.
- 24:16Speaker 3: A runner was gored in the face during the running
- 24:18Speaker 3: of the bulls in Spain over the weekend.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Did you ever do that?
- 24:23Speaker 9: No?
- 24:23Speaker 6: Have we talked about see the bullfighting?
- 24:25Speaker 2: A friend of mine went, I've seen it all over.
- 24:27Speaker 6: My TikTok feed.
- 24:28Speaker 7: And people go to Spain and don't really know what
- 24:31Speaker 7: they're going into and they leave like mortified and.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Traumatized because the bulls they run down.
- 24:36Speaker 6: They didn't realize that, like they kill the bulls after.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Oh, that's terrible, it's sad.
- 24:41Speaker 9: I know.
- 24:42Speaker 3: There's a map that's tracking the spread of the explosive
- 24:45Speaker 3: diarrhea outbreak. Bad news for Ohio, Michigan, New York, and
- 24:49Speaker 3: North Carolina. Yikes, it's in that from like a lettuce
- 24:53Speaker 3: from a fast food place.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I don't know I just don't know. Anyway, what do
- 24:57Speaker 2: you got for lifex Rich.
- 24:58Speaker 4: If you're tired of Google images showing up with AI
- 25:03Speaker 4: generated pictures, here's a little trick that you can try
- 25:05Speaker 4: next time you do a Google or a search. Add
- 25:08Speaker 4: minus AI to the end of your search. Now, it's
- 25:10Speaker 4: not gonna catch everything, but it can help reduce the
- 25:13Speaker 4: AI generated results. If you're looking for older authentic photos,
- 25:17Speaker 4: you can also use Google's date filters, so that way

- 25:27Speaker 4: to find more real world photos and less computer generated content.
- 25:32Speaker 4: And you know, we like guaranteed human stuff around these parts.
- 25:35Speaker 4: You can find that life hack in many more at

- 26:27Speaker 3: what's up? Mand you're on the air.
- 26:28Speaker 11: Hey, Hey, hey guys, how you doing.
- 26:30Speaker 2: What's your story?
- 26:31Speaker 11: So I'm calling because man, I'm genuinely confused and uh,
- 26:37Speaker 11: honestly feeling a little hurt because I've been talking to
- 26:41Speaker 11: this girl for a couple of weeks and it was great.
- 26:44Speaker 11: We were vibing when we were texting each other, like
- 26:48Speaker 11: joking around and being like, you know, really vulnerable and open.
- 26:51Speaker 11: And then we finally went out and I thought it
- 26:53Speaker 11: was like an amazing date. And earlier that day I'd
- 26:57Speaker 11: want a decent amount of money at the casino, so
- 27:00Speaker 11: I figured, you know, why not spoil her a little, right,
- 27:03Speaker 11: So I took her out to a really nice dinner.
- 27:06Speaker 14: We last the whole night.
- 27:07Speaker 11: And we had a conversation flowed, we had some like
- 27:10Speaker 11: good drinks, and she even told me she wanted to
- 27:12Speaker 11: do it again. But then since then, like she's barely
- 27:15Speaker 11: answering my texts like nothing, and she leaves me on
- 27:20Speaker 11: Red and now she's completely ghosted me, and I can't.
- 27:25Speaker 11: I'm wondering if it's because, you know, she was only
- 27:31Speaker 11: interested because I picked up the tab and treated her
- 27:33Speaker 11: to a nice night. I don't know if I did
- 27:35Speaker 11: something wrong, if I completely misread the vibe, or I
- 27:38Speaker 11: just got played, you know, So what do you guys think?
- 27:41Speaker 11: Can you just call her and help me figure out
- 27:43Speaker 11: what actually happened?
- 27:44Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll call her for sure.
- 27:46Speaker 7: Did you meet her at the casino and like, oh,
- 27:48Speaker 7: let me take you out? Because I'm confused, Like I'm not.
- 27:51Speaker 7: I don't think that she would just like ghost you
- 27:53Speaker 7: because you took her out on a date. If you guys,
- 27:55Speaker 7: were had a relationship beforehand.
- 27:57Speaker 11: You know, we were talking on a we were talking
- 28:00Speaker 11: on a dating Appkay, all.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Right, so you at the casino, you win a bunch
- 28:04Speaker 3: of money, So like, what do you what do you
- 28:05Speaker 3: call a bunch of money? I won a couple of
- 28:08Speaker 3: thous Oh damn, okay, a bunch of money all right,
- 28:11Speaker 3: So then you took her to dinner and did all
- 28:12Speaker 3: that stuff at the casino or did you go to
- 28:14Speaker 3: another restaurant?
- 28:15Speaker 11: We went to another restaurant?
- 28:16Speaker 2: Okay, wow? And so she was with you?
- 28:19Speaker 9: Like was she with you?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Like you had her blow in the dice? You know
- 28:22Speaker 2: you do that?
- 28:24Speaker 11: That would be cool?
- 28:25Speaker 2: But no, Okay, Well, I mean if.
- 28:28Speaker 5: That happened that night, it's not like she was playing
- 28:30Speaker 5: you because she didn't know you were going to win it.
- 28:31Speaker 6: Actually, that's what I'm.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Saying, Like, maybe she wanted more. Maybe she wanted to
- 28:34Speaker 2: buy her dress.
- 28:35Speaker 6: Right, She's like, you want all this money and this
- 28:38Speaker 6: is jeep skate. Yeah.
- 28:40Speaker 5: Well she's like I was the one that hit me
- 28:43Speaker 5: or whatever.
- 28:47Speaker 2: All right. I told her.
- 28:48Speaker 11: I was like, hey, I had a pretty lucky night
- 28:50Speaker 11: and like I think we should celebrate together. And she
- 28:52Speaker 11: would seem really excited.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Hmmm.
- 28:55Speaker 4: Well, maybe you gave better phone than you do in person,
- 28:58Speaker 4: Like maybe the texting before from the app was more
- 29:01Speaker 4: exciting than the date, or maybe he.
- 29:02Speaker 6: Just maybe he just wasn't a good date.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but she was with you when you won the money,
- 29:06Speaker 2: She was with you in the casino.
- 29:09Speaker 11: No, no, no, no, she was not with you.
- 29:12Speaker 4: She said he won a bunch of money, so he
- 29:14Speaker 4: figured he'd splurge on the date.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Okay, so she knows you want a bunch of money.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm assuming the date wasn't at the level
- 29:22Speaker 3: that she expected, knowing that you want a bunch of money.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Where's my helicopter? Read? Yeah, where's my where is that?
- 29:29Speaker 2: Maybe something like that? All right, all right, let's call her. Okay,
- 29:32Speaker 2: what's her name? Ralph?
- 29:33Speaker 12: Maria?
- 29:34Speaker 2: Mariah? All right, we're gonna get Mariah on the phone
- 29:36Speaker 2: and go over this story and find out why she's
- 29:39Speaker 2: now blowing you off. He has anything to do with
- 29:41Speaker 2: the money you want? All right, So hang time.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Second and update continues next with John Jay and Rich
- 29:45Speaker 3: kill me John Jayane Rich. We're in the middle of
- 29:55Speaker 3: second date update Ralph and Mariah.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Well, Ralph, he's genuinely confused. He talked a lot to
- 30:02Speaker 4: Mariah on a dating app. They got along so great
- 30:06Speaker 4: that when he won a bunch of money in a casino,
- 30:08Speaker 4: he thought he would whine and dine in splurge on Mariah.
- 30:13Speaker 4: He treated her to a night of spending his jackpot.
- 30:17Speaker 4: But then the communication has gone bust. She is shutting
- 30:20Speaker 4: him down like Ocean's eleven and he can't figure out
- 30:24Speaker 4: why he went bust. Let's find out, all.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Right, Rath, that was a good recap, would you say, Ralph,
- 30:30Speaker 2: that's what happened.
- 30:31Speaker 3: No, Yeah, all right, we're gonna call Mariah right now
- 30:35Speaker 3: and we're gonna find out why she's blowing you off.
- 30:36Speaker 2: How long ago was his date? Money bags?
- 30:41Speaker 11: This is like about ten days ago?
- 30:43Speaker 2: Okay, hie, hold on.
- 30:50Speaker 6: Hi is this Mariah?
- 30:53Speaker 3: Hi?
- 30:54Speaker 6: My name is Peyton.
- 30:55Speaker 7: I'm with John, Jay and Rich and we just wanted
- 30:56Speaker 7: to talk to you on the radio about a few
- 30:58Speaker 7: things this morning.
- 30:59Speaker 6: If you're free of.
- 31:04Speaker 13: Okay, sure.
- 31:07Speaker 3: So well, we were on vacation last week and like
- 31:10Speaker 3: Kyle was telling us her story how she was in
- 31:12Speaker 3: Vegas for vacation and we were talking about gambling and
- 31:15Speaker 3: winning money and how she was able to have just
- 31:17Speaker 3: family time in Vegas because Vegas is very family driven.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Then we got a call from a guy telling us
- 31:22Speaker 3: the story about how he won some money in a
- 31:24Speaker 3: casino and he was on a date with you.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Oh, oh my god, you follow where I'm going?
- 31:31Speaker 13: And you, guys, I thought you were going to tell
- 31:33Speaker 13: me that I literally like want a trip to Vegas.
- 31:35Speaker 3: No, well, you know we will be giving away trips
- 31:38Speaker 3: to Vegas to the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 31:40Speaker 2: If you keep listening, we will we will be doing.
- 31:42Speaker 6: That, thank you.
- 31:45Speaker 13: Okay, Wait, is this about Ralph?
- 31:48Speaker 3: Yes, Ralph called us and said that he went on
- 31:51Speaker 3: a date with you and you guys were texting before
- 31:53Speaker 3: and then you went on the date.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Now he doesn't hear from you anymore.
- 31:56Speaker 3: You leave him on red And it's one of the
- 31:58Speaker 3: details he brought up was how he won money casino,
- 32:01Speaker 3: So we thought maybe that had something to do with it.
- 32:02Speaker 3: So we thought we'd just call you and get your
- 32:04Speaker 3: whole point of view.
- 32:05Speaker 7: Mariah, Oh my gosh.
- 32:08Speaker 13: Okay, I feel like if I tell you what actually
- 32:13Speaker 13: turned me off, that it's gonna make me sound really shallow.
- 32:18Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Not in a first date. Anything's fine in a first date.
- 32:21Speaker 13: Okay, Well all right, I mean everything was great, honestly, like,
- 32:27Speaker 13: it started off great. I thought that Ralph was funny
- 32:31Speaker 13: and sweet, and then I noticed that he was carrying
- 32:38Speaker 13: a purse, like like a man purse, which is okay.
- 32:42Speaker 13: I mean, it's not not a deal breaker, obviously, but
- 32:45Speaker 13: then he unzipped the purse and pulled out an entire
- 32:50Speaker 13: bottle of tequila, not kidding. Instead of ordering cocktails, he
- 32:54Speaker 13: ordered mocktails like Virgin Margarita's, and then when no one
- 33:00Speaker 13: was looking, he topped them off with the tequila that
- 33:03Speaker 13: he brought from his man purse.
- 33:07Speaker 4: Different.
- 33:08Speaker 13: Okay, have you ever heard of that? I mean, that's
- 33:11Speaker 13: am I Like, I was mortified. Am I wrong to
- 33:14Speaker 13: be so mortified?
- 33:14Speaker 7: Like it was?
- 33:16Speaker 13: We were at a nice restaurant and I was literally
- 33:21Speaker 13: screaming and tied and panicking and you know, praying that
- 33:25Speaker 13: we weren't going to get kicked out. I don't know
- 33:28Speaker 13: it just it just completely changed like how I saw him.
- 33:33Speaker 13: And and then yeah, he brought up the whole casino thing.
- 33:37Speaker 13: He kept talking about how he just won all this
- 33:40Speaker 13: money at a casino. And it's like, if that's true,
- 33:42Speaker 13: why are you sneaking liquor into a nice restaurant. I
- 33:46Speaker 13: don't know it just I don't know. It came off
- 33:51Speaker 13: very cheap, not smart, and not resourceful like he maybe
- 33:57Speaker 13: saw it. It was came off cheap and and and
- 34:01Speaker 13: I'm sorry that I ghosted him. I just I didn't.
- 34:07Speaker 13: I don't know. I didn't want to tell him because
- 34:09Speaker 13: I thought that I would sound rude if I told
- 34:11Speaker 13: him so, I'd just stop responding.
- 34:12Speaker 11: And that's where you're ghosting me over tequila.
- 34:17Speaker 9: Else?
- 34:18Speaker 11: Ye yeah, hey, mar.
- 34:22Speaker 13: The whole point was that they didn't want to hurt
- 34:23Speaker 13: your feelings.
- 34:24Speaker 15: It's not rude.
- 34:25Speaker 13: I don't know you were on the phone.
- 34:28Speaker 12: Yeah yeah, so you ghost me.
- 34:30Speaker 11: So I called John Jay and Ridge to figure out
- 34:33Speaker 11: what happened. Okay, well, so I'm sitting here thinking I
- 34:39Speaker 11: said something wrong or maybe like you met somebody else.
- 34:44Speaker 11: But it's because I had tequila.
- 34:48Speaker 13: I mean, it wasn't just the tequila, like obviously you
- 34:54Speaker 13: catch where I like, it wasn't just you have tequila.
- 34:59Speaker 2: What was it?
- 35:01Speaker 13: The whole thing? Ralph like the man, the ordering virgin
- 35:09Speaker 13: like virgin Margarita's just so you could spike them yourself.
- 35:12Speaker 13: Like you don't think that that's embarrassing.
- 35:15Speaker 11: I was, hold on, it's not a man. Hold on,
- 35:17Speaker 11: it's not a man person. I'll say, that's embarrassing me,
- 35:19Speaker 11: Like it's a crossbody.
- 35:23Speaker 13: Watched you unhip it like Mary Poppins. Okay, I had
- 35:26Speaker 13: no idea what was coming out next series.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Mary Poppins isn't pulling out tequila her bag at least
- 35:32Speaker 4: not the vision I saw, because.
- 35:34Speaker 5: Like a flask or something, and they get.
- 35:38Speaker 2: So if you're.
- 35:39Speaker 4: Splurgeon on the dinner, then.
- 35:40Speaker 11: Why b yo, b Well, I was saving money and.
- 35:47Speaker 13: Gaving money like you literally just told me that you
- 35:50Speaker 13: won over three thousand dollars at a casino. That's a
- 35:53Speaker 13: ton of money.
- 35:55Speaker 11: Exactly, And that's how you like keep your winnings.
- 35:58Speaker 13: No, that is, you get banned from restaurants and not
- 36:02Speaker 13: make a good impression on a first date like this
- 36:05Speaker 13: is a first date.
- 36:06Speaker 4: This is your first.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Look.
- 36:08Speaker 11: Nobody even noticed and okay.
- 36:10Speaker 13: But that way it is, I noticed, I noticed Ralph,
- 36:13Speaker 13: and that should be the only person whose opinion that
- 36:16Speaker 13: should have mattered to.
- 36:17Speaker 12: You on that date, like a genuine thought.
- 36:22Speaker 11: I genuinely thought you thought it would be funny.
- 36:25Speaker 13: And wanted to crawl under the table.
- 36:30Speaker 11: So instead of telling me, you just ghost me.
- 36:37Speaker 13: Like I'm sorry, I yeah, I go see you. I
- 36:41Speaker 13: don't know, like, how do you text someone hey, I
- 36:43Speaker 13: don't want to see you again because you turned a
- 36:45Speaker 13: nice restaurant into a b wyob.
- 36:49Speaker 14: I don't know how you.
- 36:51Speaker 13: I just thought it was better to just let it
- 36:53Speaker 13: go and make it clear that I wasn't interested anymore, Okay,
- 37:00Speaker 13: Like I don't think you're I had fun talking to you,
- 37:06Speaker 13: but I just after that, like I just don't think
- 37:11Speaker 13: we're compatible, and I would suggest that you don't do
- 37:15Speaker 13: that on a first date.
- 37:17Speaker 11: Well again, I thought it was fun, to be honest. Still,
- 37:20Speaker 11: I still think it's fun, whether you're going to high
- 37:22Speaker 11: end restaurant or I don't know, Denny's, Like I like,
- 37:27Speaker 11: I think breaking the rules is fun and cute. But
- 37:30Speaker 11: you know, next time maybe for you, sure, well, but
- 37:34Speaker 11: next time, like like, were you just told me right now?
- 37:37Speaker 11: You know, like I was stressing out for a couple
- 37:39Speaker 11: of days, and maybe next time, just be upfront, so
- 37:43Speaker 11: I'm not like playing back other things and thinking it
- 37:47Speaker 11: was me now, like hearing it out louder like it's
- 37:50Speaker 11: a tequila it sounds so stupid. So just so you know,
- 37:53Speaker 11: like just.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Get her point of view. I get your point of view, right,
- 37:58Speaker 3: I also get his point of view too. He's a vibe,
- 38:00Speaker 3: he's fun, he's you know, he's like I could see
- 38:03Speaker 3: people doing that.
- 38:04Speaker 10: At first he said he was doing it to save money, right,
- 38:07Speaker 10: and then she was like it seems a little cheap,
- 38:08Speaker 10: and then he was like but do you need to
- 38:09Speaker 10: be fun and you.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Know, risky right, and save money? All three of those
- 38:13Speaker 3: could be true. I mean, you know it's like with
- 38:15Speaker 3: somebody brings alcohol into a concert, right.
- 38:18Speaker 7: I mean, I've definitely brought in like a water bottle
- 38:20Speaker 7: filled with vodka spiked my drinks before, Like that's a thing.
- 38:23Speaker 7: But I would never do that on a date. I'm
- 38:25Speaker 7: doing that with my girlfriends on a Friday night.
- 38:28Speaker 3: I would think for the first date, you wouldn't do that.
- 38:30Speaker 3: But I can also understand him feeling comfortable. Ye, too
- 38:33Speaker 3: bad didn't work out. I mean, I can see it
- 38:35Speaker 3: kind of be funny. You're at a very fancy restaurant,
- 38:36Speaker 3: you bust out a bottle tequila, and you'd be like,
- 38:38Speaker 3: you're saving eight bucks.
- 38:39Speaker 4: But that just lets you know that she doesn't like
- 38:41Speaker 4: him that much. But that was cute to her, supposed
- 38:45Speaker 4: to do that, right.
- 38:46Speaker 10: Well, she's also probably sitting there like if we get
- 38:48Speaker 10: caught or it's going to be so embarrassing, right, And
- 38:51Speaker 10: she's like, yeah.
- 38:53Speaker 13: Yeah, I shouldn't have ghosted you. I'm sorry. Yeah, that's
- 38:59Speaker 13: the honest true. And I just don't think we're compatible.
- 39:01Speaker 13: But you are a great guy and I'm wishing you
- 39:03Speaker 13: the best, and.
- 39:06Speaker 4: I didn't know what else.
- 39:09Speaker 3: You know, It's like, it's like my wife sometimes will
- 39:11Speaker 3: go to a restaurant if we've been there before she
- 39:13Speaker 3: has she likes fresh avocado, and sometimes she'll bring an
- 39:17Speaker 3: avocado to the restaurant when we ordered. It's kind of embarrassing,
- 39:20Speaker 3: but she's my wife and I've been with her for
- 39:21Speaker 3: a long time. If I was on the first date
- 39:24Speaker 3: she busted on avocado out of her first.
- 39:26Speaker 2: I'd be like, what the heck?
- 39:29Speaker 3: You know they charge a dollar for this, So I'm like, yeah, well, okay,
- 39:31Speaker 3: she brought her own avocado. But we're also married. We've
- 39:33Speaker 3: been together a long time. But anyway, all right, I
- 39:36Speaker 3: get it, Ralph, I get it.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Mariah. Thank you both for jumping on the air with us.
- 39:40Speaker 13: Yeah, talking to you, got it.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Thanks for listening, Mariah.
- 39:43Speaker 3: All right, that second update you guys, John Jay and Rich.
- 39:57Speaker 3: We need a contestant for Doja Cat tickets. She'll be
- 39:59Speaker 3: here in October at mortgage matchup. Call us at eight seven, seven, nine,
- 40:04Speaker 3: three seven one to four seven. We have a very
- 40:06Speaker 3: specific Doja Cat game we're gonna play just for you
- 40:09Speaker 3: while we wait for a contestant.
- 40:11Speaker 2: How about that storm last night?
- 40:13Speaker 6: Yeah, I like the power went out at our house.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Oh it did.
- 40:17Speaker 6: Actually kind of scared me for how long, about like
- 40:20Speaker 6: two minutes, and then I just kicked right back on power.
- 40:23Speaker 2: To go at my house. But my backyard did that
- 40:25Speaker 2: thing it does all the time where it floods now.
- 40:27Speaker 10: I literally could not stop thinking about you. When it
- 40:30Speaker 10: started raining hard.
- 40:31Speaker 5: I was like, oh, poor John Jay, he's in his backyard.
- 40:34Speaker 10: And then I was talking to Scott on the phone
- 40:35Speaker 10: because I was actually driving through the storm, which always
- 40:38Speaker 10: freaks me out, and I'm like and he was like, yep,
- 40:41Speaker 10: sure enough, John Jay's getting the sand bags out.
- 40:44Speaker 4: I thought all they got fixed.
- 40:45Speaker 2: It did, and it didn't.
- 40:46Speaker 3: The I think the backyard landscaping is done, but the
- 40:49Speaker 3: gutters on my roof are still jacked up. So I'm
- 40:52Speaker 3: getting a new roof in our at our house, and
- 40:54Speaker 3: hopefully the roofers they're putting new gutters. Hopefully that that's
- 40:58Speaker 3: you know, I just don't know. I know, but it's
- 40:59Speaker 3: so frustrating because of the stupid pool company from years ago.
- 41:03Speaker 2: But that's another story.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Meanwhile, get this, So I woke up this morning and
- 41:07Speaker 3: I get up before anybody in my house and I
- 41:09Speaker 3: walk downstairs and usually my dogs if they want to
- 41:13Speaker 3: come in, they're outside in the backyard by the window
- 41:15Speaker 3: by the door, and I'll open the door let him in.
- 41:17Speaker 2: They run up in the jump in bed with my wife.
- 41:19Speaker 2: And this morning, same thing.
- 41:21Speaker 3: They were right there. I open up the door and
- 41:23Speaker 3: my house alarm goes off. So the whole house lone,
- 41:26Speaker 3: and I mean it's louder than it's ever been. I
- 41:28Speaker 3: don't know what the hell it was so and red
- 41:30Speaker 3: lights are going off of my I never had that before. Yeah,
- 41:32Speaker 3: so I turn off the alarm. I was like, oh,
- 41:34Speaker 3: I totally forgot to turn off the arm. So I
- 41:36Speaker 3: turn off the alarm and just getting prepared. My son
- 41:40Speaker 3: Jake gets up a little before me. He works at
- 41:42Speaker 3: five am, and he comes walking downstairs. Now I'm wearing
- 41:47Speaker 3: because what I do in the morning now is I
- 41:48Speaker 3: get up in the morning, I have my normal routine
- 41:50Speaker 3: and I get on the treadmill. And what I do
- 41:52Speaker 3: when I get on the trail after I get on
- 41:53Speaker 3: the treadmill, usually get in the hot tub with the
- 41:54Speaker 3: cold plunch. So I don't really want to get a
- 41:56Speaker 3: pair of swimsuit wet and dirty for no reasons. I'm
- 41:59Speaker 3: in my underwear, but I'm also put on shoes and socks.
- 42:03Speaker 3: So I'm in my underwear with shoes and socks.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Good look. It's a terrible look.
- 42:07Speaker 3: So Jake comes walking downstairs and just without a flinch
- 42:12Speaker 3: or with just saying, he just says, oh, hey, Dad,
- 42:14Speaker 3: the police are at the front door.
- 42:16Speaker 2: And it's it's it's three thirty in the morning. He's like,
- 42:18Speaker 2: the police are at the front door.
- 42:20Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, because the alarm on off so and
- 42:23Speaker 3: I also don't have I discontinued the the doorbell, so
- 42:27Speaker 3: they're standing there. I don't know if they're walking around
- 42:28Speaker 3: and if they're knocking on the door. So I walk
- 42:30Speaker 3: over to the front door and there's two cops in
- 42:33Speaker 3: the dark in my front door. I open up the
- 42:34Speaker 3: door and I'm like, I'm so sorry. I said I
- 42:37Speaker 3: turned I thought I turned off the alarm fast enough.
- 42:39Speaker 3: And the cop goes, oh, you didn't, And I go
- 42:41Speaker 3: and I realized I'm in my underwear with black shoes
- 42:44Speaker 3: on in white.
- 42:44Speaker 4: Socks, so clearly you're not the bandit the underwear bandit.
- 42:50Speaker 3: And I'm like, I'm so sorry. The guy goes and
- 42:52Speaker 3: what's your name? And I say it's John J. Van
- 42:54Speaker 3: Nesty and he looks at something. He goes, Okay, you're good.
- 42:56Speaker 3: I'm like all right. So I'm like, then my dog's
- 43:00Speaker 3: they start coming down the stairs. I go, I have
- 43:02Speaker 3: five dogs. They're on their way.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Are we good? Can I close the door? And the guy,
- 43:07Speaker 2: the cop, goes I hear them. I go, they're coming?
- 43:10Speaker 2: Are they? He goes, yeah, you're good. I close the
- 43:12Speaker 2: door and the dogs go.
- 43:16Speaker 5: God chaos at your house always at.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Three thirty in the morning. Nuts.
- 43:22Speaker 4: You don't need a cold plunge. After that, you're awake.
- 43:24Speaker 2: I did it. I did the cold plunge anyway, So
- 43:26Speaker 2: thank you to the police. Thank you, Phoenix p DP. Marge,
- 43:30Speaker 2: good morning, Good morning. All right, Marge, you're playing a
- 43:33Speaker 2: game with us for Doja cat tickets.

- 43:39Speaker 3: I hear you on a speakerphone or a bluetooth or something.
- 43:42Speaker 3: Can we get off of that doesn't sound very good?
- 43:43Speaker 3: I can't hear you.
- 43:45Speaker 13: Yeah, I'm driving, I have my head sits out.
- 43:48Speaker 3: You want to pull over because it doesn't sound good.
- 43:49Speaker 3: We can't play the game with you. We'll have to
- 43:50Speaker 3: get another con. It's no big deal. We'll just get
- 43:53Speaker 3: another contestant. Yeah, sure, no problem. We should do this
- 43:57Speaker 3: when you're on hold or something. That'd be great, Dylan,
- 44:00Speaker 3: he told me, make sure.
- 44:00Speaker 2: She does it.
- 44:02Speaker 3: Listen to her, do it before you patch it through
- 44:03Speaker 3: or get another kntest. It doesn't sound good, okay, Yeah,
- 44:09Speaker 3: night and day, Margie. Okay, all right, what game Nick?
- 44:13Speaker 16: You guys are playing a game called cartoon Cat, doja
- 44:16Speaker 16: Cat or person named Cat?
- 44:18Speaker 4: Excellent.
- 44:19Speaker 16: I've got some clues here. First round it's gonna be
- 44:22Speaker 16: uh some trivia. Second round will be a fun audio
- 44:26Speaker 16: portion of the game. We're gonna start off with John Jay. Hey,
- 44:29Speaker 16: John Jay, you need to tell me if this is
- 44:32Speaker 16: a cartoon cat, dojakat or a person named cat. This
- 44:35Speaker 16: cat loves Lasagna but hates Mondays cartoon Cat and Garfield. Yeah,
- 44:39Speaker 16: there we go, two for two, John Jay. In round one,
- 44:43Speaker 16: here Rich this world famous newlywed played a cat and
- 44:48Speaker 16: owns cat's name. Meredith Gray, Olivia Benson and Benson or
- 44:51Speaker 16: excuse me and Benjamin Button.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Oh yeah she was, she was a cat in cats.
- 44:57Speaker 4: Yeah you're talking about Taylor Swiz.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Yeah, Tater squid. He forgot it.
- 45:00Speaker 6: Two for two, boone.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Peyton.
- 45:07Speaker 16: This cat was a broke girl, was friends with Thor
- 45:11Speaker 16: and her eventual stepdad was a forty year old virgin.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Cat woman, cat Woman, cat Man, cat man.
- 45:24Speaker 6: Cat.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Okay, do you think it's an actual cat?
- 45:27Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 45:28Speaker 16: Okay, that wasn't one of the options. That's a person
- 45:30Speaker 16: named cat. We were looking for Cat Dennings.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Who can.
- 45:35Speaker 4: Few of him?
- 45:36Speaker 2: Anyway?
- 45:36Speaker 16: That's a hard one, Cat Dennings, I'll send you super curls.
- 45:42Speaker 16: All right, good try Peyton. Hey, Kyle, this cat in
- 45:48Speaker 16: tall footwear, the friend of a donkey is an expert swordsman.
- 45:54Speaker 2: You just need to watch out for his hair balls.
- 45:57Speaker 5: That's cartoon cat.
- 45:59Speaker 16: Puss in boots is correct. Two for two Kyle unfuged.
- 46:03Speaker 16: Two points for John Jay, two points for Rich, two
- 46:05Speaker 16: points for Kyle. Move on, now here we go, Margie. Okay,
- 46:10Speaker 16: this cat credits her name to all the marriage Jauana
- 46:14Speaker 16: she smoked when she began making music. Doja cat is correct? Alright,
- 46:23Speaker 16: we've got a three way tie heading into round two.
- 46:25Speaker 16: We're gonna start off with John Jay.
- 46:27Speaker 2: John Jay. Who's this cat?
- 46:31Speaker 16: Their mom star Sylvester Sylvester cartoon cat. Four points for
- 46:37Speaker 16: John Jay, Rich, I volunteer this tribute Jennifer learned.
- 46:42Speaker 4: Oh Cat Mi Separdein from Hunger Games. There we go,
- 46:45Speaker 4: fictional cat.
- 46:46Speaker 2: We'll take that. Good job.
- 46:48Speaker 16: Two points, Peyton, Oh what I chose this one for
- 47:01Speaker 16: you specifically, So that's.
- 47:06Speaker 6: Carl Anthony Town's whining yet.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Let's go. Good job, Peyton.
- 47:13Speaker 4: Cat is ridiculously Kyle.
- 47:20Speaker 16: That's what you drink on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, his birthday, Jesus' birthday, Hennessy.
- 47:27Speaker 6: He is comedian.
- 47:29Speaker 5: Oh my god, I'm freaking his last name Cat.
- 47:31Speaker 6: Cat Cat Stephen Cat.
- 47:39Speaker 5: I know I can see him. His name is Cat.
- 47:42Speaker 2: His name is Cat. I'll give you a half point
- 47:44Speaker 2: looking for cat.
- 47:45Speaker 16: Will William William, Yes, all right, think of that right,
- 47:49Speaker 16: try Kyle.
- 47:51Speaker 2: You get a half point either way.
- 47:53Speaker 16: All right, Margie, if you can get this one, you're
- 47:55Speaker 16: gonna go see the doja cat.
- 48:11Speaker 3: There we go, all right, Margie, thanks for listening. Hold online.
- 48:19Speaker 3: We will set you up with budget. You got it,
- 48:22Speaker 3: and we'll do it again tomorrow every day. And then
- 48:24Speaker 3: about an hour we got diamondbag tickets, so keep listening.
- 48:28Speaker 3: And then we also got we're gonna pay your bills
- 48:30Speaker 3: in about a half hour and some point this morning
- 48:33Speaker 3: we got a minute to win it where you can
- 48:35Speaker 3: get your chance at a thousand bucks. Let's go around
- 48:37Speaker 3: the room real quick about TV. Who's watched because I
- 48:39Speaker 3: know that we keep saying there's not a lot of TV,
- 48:41Speaker 3: but I know, like Rich has watched a lot of TV. Payton,
- 48:43Speaker 3: you watch a movie, Kyle, what do you watch? I'm
- 48:45Speaker 3: watching a Little House of the Prairie. I'm really in
- 48:47Speaker 3: the Little House in the Praye right now in episode six.
- 48:49Speaker 3: There's only eight episodes, and I'm liking it. I just
- 48:52Speaker 3: damn it makes me want to dig a well and
- 48:55Speaker 3: build a cabin, you know, by the way I was,
- 48:58Speaker 3: I was, I did it.
- 49:00Speaker 2: I did a deep dive.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Into Little House in the Prairie and People magazine did
- 49:03Speaker 3: an article on it, and I thought it was really interesting.
- 49:05Speaker 3: And I can see why they're trying to compare the two.
- 49:08Speaker 3: But I guess the Little House of Prairie storyline takes
- 49:11Speaker 3: place at the exact same time Bridgerton is happening. Really,
- 49:15Speaker 3: so Little House of Prairie is happening in the United States.
- 49:17Speaker 3: Bridgerton's happening in the UK.
- 49:19Speaker 5: Wow.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Kind of cool?
- 49:20Speaker 3: How And I can see now like there's there are
- 49:23Speaker 3: some similarities as far as the outfits not. But now
- 49:27Speaker 3: I look at it and I go, oh, wait a minute,
- 49:29Speaker 3: you know what I mean? It's something it seemed like
- 49:31Speaker 3: in a way, it seems like Bridgerton. They have they
- 49:33Speaker 3: have more a bridge analogy. Bridgeston is also not real.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Little House of Prairie is a real story that like
- 49:40Speaker 3: really happened. That was pretty cool. But anyway, what are
- 49:42Speaker 3: you watching, Kyle?
- 49:43Speaker 5: I am watching the latest season of Dark Winds.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Oh I watched the first three seasons. Yeah that's a
- 49:49Speaker 2: good show.
- 49:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I forgot about that show.
- 49:51Speaker 3: I know.
- 49:51Speaker 10: I actually thought about it too, and I was a
- 49:53Speaker 10: little upset that they didn't do a better recap moving
- 49:56Speaker 10: into the shot because I was like having to figure
- 49:58Speaker 10: out what characters did want, literally, and I'm on the
- 50:01Speaker 10: fourth episode still trying to figure some things out.
- 50:04Speaker 5: But it has hooked me a little bit. Took a
- 50:06Speaker 5: couple episodes to get back into it.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Did you watch season three?
- 50:09Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 50:10Speaker 2: I don't think you did. I might not because I
- 50:13Speaker 2: maybe I'm so confused. Halfway through season.
- 50:15Speaker 5: Three, I'm confused.
- 50:17Speaker 4: I currently hear that.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I love Dark Wins. It's great.
- 50:20Speaker 3: I thought it was a good show, but it usually
- 50:21Speaker 3: comes out on AMC and then it goes on and
- 50:24Speaker 3: then it goes on Netflix later. But I haven't seen
- 50:26Speaker 3: this season yet. But anyway, okay, so what else do
- 50:28Speaker 3: you watch? The Maximum More Drive thing?
- 50:30Speaker 10: Yeah, I've caught up on Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed on Apple
- 50:33Speaker 10: TV and that there's one more episode left.
- 50:36Speaker 5: The season finale comes out tomorrow.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Oh, I'm caught up too. I thought he's a finale
- 50:41Speaker 3: came out already. Yeah, okay, what about you, Peyton?
- 50:45Speaker 7: I watched the five Star Weekend that star Jennifer Gardner
- 50:48Speaker 7: and Regina Hall.
- 50:49Speaker 6: It's on Peacock. It's actually really.
- 50:50Speaker 7: Good, but I was looking at some of the reviews
- 50:52Speaker 7: and they're saying that the trailer doesn't give what the
- 50:55Speaker 7: actual plot is. Basically, like Jennifer Gardner, she's this foody
- 50:58Speaker 7: influencer and her husband dies, but she has this like
- 51:02Speaker 7: weekend in Nantucket where she grew up. But she finds
- 51:04Speaker 7: out that one of the girls in her inner circle
- 51:06Speaker 7: was the reason that her husband had the affair. So
- 51:09Speaker 7: it's like one thing's happening after another, and it was
- 51:11Speaker 7: really good.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Her husband had an affair and died. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 51:14Speaker 2: when you watch the trailer, it looks like it's the
- 51:16Speaker 2: Hangover exactly, but no, does it.
- 51:19Speaker 14: To me?
- 51:19Speaker 2: It did.
- 51:19Speaker 3: I was like, oh, it's a hangover sprides Maids, it's
- 51:22Speaker 3: girl go Away. We can go away and chaos happens.
- 51:24Speaker 7: You get girlhood, you get sisterhood. You see a relationship
- 51:27Speaker 7: with Jennifer Gardner and her daughter, you see grieving, you
- 51:29Speaker 7: see like all the good friendship memories.
- 51:31Speaker 6: It was just like it was. It was sad, but
- 51:34Speaker 6: it was also like funny.
- 51:35Speaker 4: Is it a comedy, It's a both.
- 51:37Speaker 6: It's like it's all of the things. It makes you
- 51:38Speaker 6: feel all of the things really really good.
- 51:40Speaker 4: Actually rich Kate Fear, Kate Fear.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 51:43Speaker 4: That is the darkest show perhaps since Dexter, that I've
- 51:48Speaker 4: ever seen.
- 51:48Speaker 2: But Dexter's a good dark.
- 51:50Speaker 4: This is a good dark too.
- 51:51Speaker 2: It's just I watched five minutes of it. I turned gary?
- 51:54Speaker 2: Is it? I turned off?
- 51:55Speaker 4: They shoot it like a Hitchcock movie.
- 51:58Speaker 2: I mean it is.
- 51:58Speaker 4: It's got like Gary music, and it has wild angles
- 52:02Speaker 4: and criminals and this guy basically gets out of jail
- 52:06Speaker 4: for a murder maybe he didn't commit, maybe he didn't commit,
- 52:08Speaker 4: but he starts terrorizing the lawyers that screwed it up
- 52:11Speaker 4: and made him go to jail and messing with everybody
- 52:14Speaker 4: in their family. And it is as dark as the
- 52:17Speaker 4: first couple episodes are it, it's even darker.
- 52:20Speaker 3: So I watched the first five minutes and I turned
- 52:22Speaker 3: it off on a on Apple Tue because I got.
- 52:24Speaker 2: I got.
- 52:24Speaker 3: I was like, this is twist, this is dark. I
- 52:26Speaker 3: don't want to and I couldn't get this thing out
- 52:28Speaker 3: of my head. So I went to Google Reader and
- 52:30Speaker 3: all the reviews I read or it's not as good
- 52:33Speaker 3: as the It was a movie with Robert de Niro
- 52:34Speaker 3: that Martin Scosese he made and they made it and
- 52:36Speaker 3: he was like, it's not as good. They're not letting
- 52:38Speaker 3: the actor do his craziness. So I was like, oh,
- 52:41Speaker 3: I don't need to watch it. Yeah, no, no, he
- 52:42Speaker 3: gets even crazier.
- 52:44Speaker 2: And Mark, what's up man? What are you watching?
- 52:45Speaker 12: It's on Netflix, not what you think it's gonna be.
- 52:50Speaker 2: No, what are you Season one or season two? Well?
- 52:54Speaker 12: I started season two somehow when I turned it on, right,
- 52:57Speaker 12: that's not no idea that I miss Season one.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Oh.
- 53:00Speaker 3: Season one's really good. It's all different actors now. The
- 53:02Speaker 3: season one I think it's season one's way better than
- 53:05Speaker 3: season two in my opinion, is it?
- 53:08Speaker 2: Yeah? Season two is like white guys. Yeah, that's cool
- 53:12Speaker 2: to know.
- 53:14Speaker 4: And then that every summer every year after on Prime
- 53:18Speaker 4: is like number one, two or three right now. And
- 53:20Speaker 4: it's like I was telling Peyton about it because I
- 53:22Speaker 4: thought she would love it. I ended up watching the
- 53:24Speaker 4: whole thing over vacation. It's just a young romance in
- 53:28Speaker 4: like in a small lake town. But you're you're gonna
- 53:31Speaker 4: like it, Kyle, you would dig it. What about voicemails, Vasabelle?
- 53:34Speaker 4: I know you saw that.
- 53:35Speaker 2: I refuse to watch that. Kyle. You loved it too, right,
- 53:37Speaker 2: you said? Richard said happy ending.
- 53:40Speaker 4: It does have a happy ending, but it's tough getting there.
- 53:42Speaker 4: I was very sad during the show. Yeah, the Bear
- 53:45Speaker 4: Rich last season it was good but slow. I keep
- 53:50Speaker 4: on telling you guys to watch it, John Jay, you, Kyle,
- 53:53Speaker 4: because I think that you will end up loving the
- 53:55Speaker 4: characters on that show, but you won't start.
- 53:57Speaker 2: It all right, House of Dragon Rich A Game of
- 54:00Speaker 2: Thrown good.
- 54:01Speaker 4: It's better this year than it was last year. I've
- 54:03Speaker 4: watched a lot of tea better this.
- 54:04Speaker 2: Than last year.
- 54:05Speaker 4: Yeah, it's better this year. The first I even got
- 54:07Speaker 4: through the first episode. Yeah, yeah, it's good. It's like
- 54:09Speaker 4: they're finally getting to it. They're finally getting to the
- 54:11Speaker 4: Game of Thrones.
- 54:13Speaker 2: Robert, what's up man, you're on there? Good morning? Hello, Yeah,
- 54:17Speaker 2: what's up? You're on the air?
- 54:19Speaker 12: Hey, I was calling about the Rover. You're talking about
- 54:22Speaker 12: rover dot com the other day and my wife used
- 54:24Speaker 12: to do that and we had all of our repeat
- 54:27Speaker 12: customers coming through and such, but we ended up keeping
- 54:30Speaker 12: one of those dogs.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Are you supposed to do that? Well?
- 54:34Speaker 12: Yeah, after after there was something up with we. We
- 54:37Speaker 12: knew there was something up with her because she she
- 54:39Speaker 12: you know, we'd always send pictures off, you know, playing
- 54:42Speaker 12: with a dog in the park and things like that.
- 54:43Speaker 12: That way they felt comfortable. But after nine days she didn't,
- 54:47Speaker 12: she didn't come back to us. So eventually she came back,
- 54:49Speaker 12: and when we took the dog back, we told her, hey,
- 54:51Speaker 12: if there's ever an issue, you know, we'd like to
- 54:53Speaker 12: take him. And that's how we ended up with him.
- 54:55Speaker 12: We were going to get him neutered and find him
- 54:56Speaker 12: a good home and keep doing it because my wife
- 54:58Speaker 12: and I just enjoyed watching the dogs. They're like grandkids.
- 55:01Speaker 12: You get to spoil him for a little bit and
- 55:03Speaker 12: then send them on back. But in that case, after
- 55:06Speaker 12: we got a newter, we we ended up keep him.
- 55:08Speaker 12: Best dog I've ever had.
- 55:09Speaker 2: That's awesome, Robert, thanks you, thanks for listenans for calling in, Dude,
- 55:12Speaker 2: thanks goculating.
- 55:13Speaker 3: Yep, it's being of dogs. We got quite a few
- 55:15Speaker 3: dogs that love pup shelter and needs home. They need homes.
- 55:17Speaker 2: We have this dog, Bosco.
- 55:19Speaker 3: He's like a yellow lab and he is Fantastic's lost
- 55:23Speaker 3: twenty pounds because he was way overweight, and he's one
- 55:25Speaker 3: of the best dogs we've ever had him. For some reason,
- 55:27Speaker 3: we can't get him adopted out. We've had him almost
- 55:29Speaker 3: a year now. Yeah, and we got to get a
- 55:31Speaker 3: home for him. He's a yellow Lab. If you go
- 55:33Speaker 3: to Love Pup Foundation on Instagram, you can see him. Remember,
- 55:36Speaker 3: we don't have adoption fees for our dogs. We're just
- 55:38Speaker 3: looking for families that love these dogs. And Bosco is
- 55:40Speaker 3: a great, great dog and it's a My sister thinks
- 55:44Speaker 3: we need to give Bosco a new name and relaunch him.
- 55:47Speaker 3: Oh interesting, Sometimes that works. Yeah, he's a great dog.
- 55:50Speaker 3: So if you go to Love, if you're in the
- 55:51Speaker 3: market for a dog. You go to Love Pub Foundation.
- 55:53Speaker 3: We have many different posts and many different dogs there
- 55:56Speaker 3: that we have a pug named Jack that my son
- 56:00Speaker 3: Kemp's girlfriend wants to adopt, which she'll put us into
- 56:04Speaker 3: such a weird bind because she lives in Hawaii and
- 56:07Speaker 3: will she take the dog or his.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Dog and to stay with us?
- 56:09Speaker 17: You know?
- 56:09Speaker 2: So anyway, it's John Tay and Rich Melissa. Thanks for
- 56:16Speaker 2: holding Hi.
- 56:17Speaker 9: Yes, I'm calling in because I heard you guys talking
- 56:19Speaker 9: about Rover. Yes earlier this morning.
- 56:21Speaker 3: Yes, Dylan, who works on our show, told us that
- 56:23Speaker 3: she has kind of a she's had a gig since
- 56:25Speaker 3: she was fifteen, working for the Rover app where she
- 56:27Speaker 3: walks dogs and takes care of dogs and there's different
- 56:29Speaker 3: kind of levels. Then you sent the text in that
- 56:32Speaker 3: all of us had our jaw dropped. So we want
- 56:35Speaker 3: to hear your story.
- 56:36Speaker 12: What the dogs?
- 56:37Speaker 2: Okay?
- 56:38Speaker 9: Perfect? So we booked a dog sitter from Rover to
- 56:42Speaker 9: go on like we were going on a vacation. We
- 56:43Speaker 9: needed someone to watch our dogs. We kind of lost
- 56:47Speaker 9: contact with her a little bit through vacation and I
- 56:50Speaker 9: just thought, okay, I mean that hopefully means nothing's wrong.
- 56:55Speaker 9: We get there back to the helm and when we
- 56:58Speaker 9: go inside, she was dead on our couch. No way, Yes,
- 57:04Speaker 9: she was dead. The dog sitter was dead, and we
- 57:08Speaker 9: thought maybe she was sleeping. We's not like, oh, maybe
- 57:11Speaker 9: she's asleep, and you know, we quickly realized that she
- 57:14Speaker 9: was dead for a few days already.
- 57:16Speaker 5: Oh no, do you know what happened?
- 57:19Speaker 6: Like how would happen?
- 57:21Speaker 9: Eventually it took months for like the autop seemed to
- 57:24Speaker 9: come back. But yeah, she had an accidental DNA drill overdose.
- 57:30Speaker 5: Oh yeah, gosh, that's insane.
- 57:34Speaker 9: Yeah, so I'm never using Rover again, maybe for to
- 57:37Speaker 9: hire a Dylan specifically, no one's ever allowed to sleep
- 57:40Speaker 9: at my house again.
- 57:42Speaker 7: Wait, was there like like did the police officers when
- 57:45Speaker 7: they got there, did they have to like, oh, okay,
- 57:47Speaker 7: this is a random lady.
- 57:48Speaker 6: Was there any criminal investigation or was it pretty easy?
- 57:51Speaker 9: They very quickly realized, like this is just like an accident.
- 57:55Speaker 9: I started to think, oh my gosh, because my back
- 57:57Speaker 9: door was left open, and like they put story together,
- 58:01Speaker 9: she probably wasn't feeling well, left the door open so
- 58:03Speaker 9: the dogs could go out, and then she like took
- 58:06Speaker 9: some benadrill and just never woke up. Oh, my gosh, gosh,
- 58:09Speaker 9: like what if someone broken and at my house and
- 58:12Speaker 9: like we're responsible. But no, they knew all instantly. There
- 58:16Speaker 9: was like no foul play or anything like that.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Okay, so when you walk in and you see her
- 58:21Speaker 3: on the couch and you think she's sleeping, how many
- 58:24Speaker 3: times did you poke her before you realize she's dead?
- 58:29Speaker 9: Well, my husband he first like kind of tried to
- 58:32Speaker 9: shake her and then he grabbed her arm and it was,
- 58:34Speaker 9: you know, like stiff, like a barbie. Oh yeah, and
- 58:42Speaker 9: then I started screaming like she's dead. Yeah, called the
- 58:46Speaker 9: police and yeah, you get your money back.
- 58:49Speaker 4: Moving to do you get your money back from Rover?
- 58:52Speaker 4: Your dogs weren't fide.
- 58:54Speaker 9: Yeah, they offered to cover like vet bills and they
- 58:57Speaker 9: were very I mean like this has never happened.
- 58:59Speaker 7: So then before they they were all in shock.
- 59:01Speaker 2: But they did buy us a new couch, so I
- 59:03Speaker 2: appreciate that.
- 59:04Speaker 9: Was they were like, buy whatever you want and just
- 59:06Speaker 9: send us the bill.
- 59:07Speaker 2: So were the dogs fine?
- 59:08Speaker 12: Upgrade on the couch?
- 59:09Speaker 9: The dogs were luckily fine. I think having the door
- 59:13Speaker 9: open actually was a good thing because they could go
- 59:15Speaker 9: outside and like drink the sprinkler of water. But it
- 59:18Speaker 9: was probably two days for assuming without being fed or anything.
- 59:22Speaker 2: But they were okay.
- 59:23Speaker 3: I didn't know you could. I thought Benadrob was okay
- 59:25Speaker 3: for you to take. I mean, I wonder how much
- 59:26Speaker 3: she took. And it was an accident right now, right.
- 59:30Speaker 9: They say it was an accident, So I think it
- 59:32Speaker 9: was just a little too much. I didn't know there
- 59:34Speaker 9: was a limit. So now I'm weary about benadrl.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Do you know anything about her, like did you hear
- 59:39Speaker 2: from the family, her family or anything.
- 59:41Speaker 3: No.
- 59:41Speaker 9: It was kind of sad because really no one was
- 59:44Speaker 9: like looking for her. She was self employed, divorced, no kids,
- 59:48Speaker 9: so there was really like no one that she would
- 59:51Speaker 9: be like waiting for her to come home or anything.
- 59:53Speaker 2: So did you give her a bad review afterwards? Like
- 59:56Speaker 2: this woman said, this woman died.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: They let themselves out from there, so irresponsible. She was
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: just on the couch for two days, didn't move, buy
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: a new couch, was a TV on?
- 1:00:12Speaker 9: The TV was off?
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: What the heck.
- 1:00:19Speaker 17: That?
- 1:00:20Speaker 11: It really did?
- 1:00:20Speaker 12: Like it was very eerie.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: Man. Well, thanks for sharing that story, Melissa crazy. Yeah,
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: have a great day.
- 1:00:34Speaker 17: Risk.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: Oh you know that storm last night? I got that
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: alert on my phone and it's.
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: Still on my phone was critical, didn't it?
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Yeah? But does it not?
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: Is it still dismiss it?
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Just where?
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: How you just swipe it?
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: Yeah, where's swipe.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: It to the what it's gone? Now? Hey technology, you
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: guys alert.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: If you're like us and you have that alert and
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: will come off your phone, swipe to the left and
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: it's gone to the left, to the left. Dylan is
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: in here because she had a different take. We aw
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: this deal with the storm last night, and we have
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: different versions of the story of the storm. But her
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: story is a little relatable because I had something with
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: the airport. Is I think I saw this morning the
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: airport was shut down or something?
- 1:01:29Speaker 18: Uh huh.
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:01:29Speaker 18: So Max, my long distance boyfriend, has been here for
- 1:01:33Speaker 18: the weekend, and he was supposed to fly out back
- 1:01:35Speaker 18: to San Francisco last night, and so I dropped him
- 1:01:37Speaker 18: off at the airport and it wasn't looking good. He
- 1:01:40Speaker 18: was already delayed an hour by the time I dropped
- 1:01:42Speaker 18: him off, and so we decided, Okay, he'll just stay there.
- 1:01:45Speaker 18: I'm gonna come back and if it gets canceled, he'll
- 1:01:47Speaker 18: just super back to my house. But already I was
- 1:01:49Speaker 18: driving home and I could barely see.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: The road, like it was so bad.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: So I was one of the things the alert says
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: is don't drive.
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: Yeah, so I was like, there's no way he's going
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: up in the sky.
- 1:01:56Speaker 18: Mind you were driving there and I'm seeing lightning crash
- 1:01:58Speaker 18: as guys, So I'm like, I want you to go.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: The same time, I was like, you're going up there
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: in the middle tube, Like, no, you're not.
- 1:02:05Speaker 18: So I was kind of hoping it would get canceled
- 1:02:07Speaker 18: and then yeah, like right when I got home. It
- 1:02:09Speaker 18: was kind of a back and forth of like it
- 1:02:11Speaker 18: literally got delayed until midnight to where he wouldn't get
- 1:02:14Speaker 18: in until two am. Mind you, he starts work at
- 1:02:17Speaker 18: six am, so that would not have been good. But yeah,
- 1:02:20Speaker 18: it ended up he was able to rebook for free,
- 1:02:23Speaker 18: so he rebooked for five pm, so we get one extra.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Oh that's nice. You can have yourself a nice date lunch.
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: So nice.
- 1:02:30Speaker 18: It's like the long distance couple like dream. It's like
- 1:02:32Speaker 18: what you wish would happen that one of your flights
- 1:02:34Speaker 18: gets canceled and it actually happens.
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: Especially since it's you and you're still at home exaggerating.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: So you took him to the airport. I took him
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: to there, went home, yeah, fully, and then you picked
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: him back up. At what time he ubered back? I
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: was like, I can't drive, So he got back to
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: your house.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: At the time at like I want to say, like
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: nine thirty.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: So yeah, and when he's at your house, could you
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: live at home with your parents? Does he sleep in
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: your room?
- 1:02:57Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 1:02:57Speaker 14: He was.
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: He's allowed to.
- 1:02:59Speaker 18: That's never been allowed before, but for him, my parents
- 1:03:02Speaker 18: allow it. Yeah, he's actually asleep.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: When you says there been a lot before, was that
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: a situation before, like you'd have guys come over?
- 1:03:08Speaker 18: Yeah, I mean I've never had a boy spend the
- 1:03:11Speaker 18: night before. My parents are pretty traditional, so but they
- 1:03:14Speaker 18: would always sleep.
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: In the guest room.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: If there was I would tell you, I as a parent,
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: thought that I would never let that happen. But it's happened.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: There's a girl in my son's room right now.
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: You really, I know.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: I think Camp's girlfriend came to stay with you for
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: the summer.
- 1:03:28Speaker 10: I was like, so are they just they're just sleeping
- 1:03:32Speaker 10: together like, which never a discussion, just because.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: They lived in Hawaii and they slept together there all
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: the time. So it's like, how can you come here.
- 1:03:39Speaker 18: And then be like, no, you know what I told
- 1:03:41Speaker 18: my parents because the first few times he visited, he
- 1:03:43Speaker 18: was in the guest room and I was like, God,
- 1:03:45Speaker 18: I was like, come on, we were just at school
- 1:03:47Speaker 18: and mine, like my parents got married like a year
- 1:03:50Speaker 18: after they graduated.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: So I'm like, I know y'all were doing the same thing. Yeah,
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: for sure. Give at one point, right.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: My son and his girlfriend though, they they like in
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: a Bible study each they read the Bible every night.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: They're like the Bibles by their bed. They do all
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: something thinking do they do this?
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: That's what I will tell you too.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: I see them doing it, like.
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: You read the Bible. Doesn't mean that, you know, kids
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: are the most crazy.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: I still think my sister doesn't have sex and she's
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: got two kids.
- 1:04:28Speaker 9: So I.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: We talked about TV earlier. But one thing we forgot,
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: which is the biggest thing in the world is the
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: World Cup soccer.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: Today it's it's today, there's a there's a game today,
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: and then there's a game in a couple days. Right.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: I think there's only four teams left, right, and the
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: championship is Sunday, And that's where the biggest thing in
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: the world would be.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: Justin bieber.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Us. That's here's what I don't understand about that that's
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: gonna be the halftime show. However, it works in soccer
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: and it's all those artists in eleven minutes. That's eleven minutes,
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: and the super Bowl we have more than that. It's
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: like thirty minutes.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: The Super minutes, they only some one song like we
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Are the World. Like they're gonna do one song.
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: You remember when it was like who was It?
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: It was like fifty cent and they had Eminem and
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: they had who was Snoop Dog?
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: They had all those people. They're gonna be.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Able to do it those people and they had thirty minutes.
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: They don't know.
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: He's not minutes halftime is I want to say it's
- 1:05:23Speaker 7: probably right around eleven twelve minutes yeah, for the halftime show.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: Okay, so if the halftime show is eleven twelve minutes
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: in the super Bowl, which I think is longer than
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: it is, the still got to set it up and
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: do it all. So how are they going to set
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: it up and do it so maybe the performance then
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: will be formant.
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: They get twelve to fifteen minutes. Yeah, the performance, halftime show.
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: No, really, that's what was longer than that.
- 1:05:42Speaker 10: No halftime break stretches twenty to thirty minutes, but the
- 1:05:47Speaker 10: actual on stage set is twelve to fifteen.
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: Well, to think about the World Cup is tonight and
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: it's the I'm just kind of bummed. I was a
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: big fan of the Norway guy.
- 1:05:56Speaker 10: Yeah, he was literally dominating my feed right, I don't
- 1:06:00Speaker 10: know how, Like I am not into soccer.
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: I was like, all for the USA getting far. I
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: was really proud of them. That was great, And afterwards
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: kind of like fell off and then all of a sudden,
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: slowly but surely, Earling Holland is all that's in my
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: feet because that's hair.
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: People are freaking out of those hair. It's just like
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: a remarkable guy that.
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: Like and you want to think is so cool.
- 1:06:19Speaker 10: On the Norway team, there's three guys whose dad's played
- 1:06:23Speaker 10: in the World Cup team in nineteen ninety six, the
- 1:06:25Speaker 10: same three guys, three's dads.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Like, how does that happen?
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: That's insane? That Norway in England game? What was it
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: last week?
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: When Noray got booted out and they made that goal
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: and they took it away. Me and my memy were
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: watching it and we're literally screaming at the TV. I've
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: never been invested into soccer.
- 1:06:40Speaker 11: I know it.
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: It's got to be bigger now than ever, doesn't it.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: Then they say, like sixty five watched it feel.
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: Like it's been everywhere else.
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: But it's because we have games in the States.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: I think we feel a little bit more big, we
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: have more.
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: But I feel like America hasn't been invested it as much.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: Right, No, that's true, But that's becoming bigger, just like everything,
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: just like the Super Bowl. Everything's getting bigger, bigger, bigger
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: every year. But I'll tell you about the Norway guy.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: I'm a big fan of his, and he's a psycho eater.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: Exercise like he fixed on thousand cons flew in all
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: his food because.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: Because of all the chemicals and crap hair. So he
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: did all that and then I saw his Have you
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: seen his house? His house is freaking awesome. You know.
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: He's the highest paid athlete under twenty five in the world.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: He gets eighty million a year and that's.
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: Just from soccer, not not that doesn't include endorsement, I know.
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: And now that he's such this lovable character, he's going
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: to be even more rich.
- 1:07:34Speaker 9: I know.
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: Brand he's about to have.
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: Way more coming his way.
- 1:07:37Speaker 10: I know, I watched this video of him as a
- 1:07:38Speaker 10: kid and there was like a scout that watched him
- 1:07:40Speaker 10: and literally said like he's not destined for anything, right,
- 1:07:43Speaker 10: I saw that.
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: Oh he proved them wrong.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: So you know, the best soccer playing in the world,
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: they say, is that Lionel Messi. Yeah, and we all
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: know I've heard his name. He's massive. In fact, he's playing,
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: he's for Argentina, playing whatever. I saw this thing that
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: said that Lionel Messi, who's hit all these incredible milestones
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: like the Lebron James of soccer. This Norway kid has
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: hit those milestones before him. He's way ahead of Lionel Messi.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: He just all he doesn't score. Did I tell you
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: that the US soccer team was at the hotel I
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: was staying at two, which was okay, So I go
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: down to the gym to do my Tai Chee walking.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: Of course, as you know, I mean, sure, Travis Kelsey
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: didn't want to bother you. There's just a normal guy doing.
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: I mean what I call the goodenough for today workout,
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: which is if you're in a hotel on vacation, that's
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: what you should be doing. So as I walk into
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: the hotel, all I see is merch for USA soccer.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: I mean shirts, robes like little little do rags everywhere,
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: and I'm like, do they not sell any just regular
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: clothes here? It's all I thought, maybe it's the hype
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: because of soccer. They had some guys and it's in
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: La So I see these two guys get on the
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: treadmills and they crank the ramps all the way up
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: and they are running their asses off, and I'm like, dudes,
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: you guys need to go have a walk. This is
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: this is a Marriott. You shouldn't be working out this hard.
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: And then I found out that the team was staying
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: at that hotel. Those were two of the soccer players
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: and they just lost everything, but they're still working their
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: butts off.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Sure now they got to go back to work.
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: Are in unusually insane shape.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: Well, Kyle, you're talking about your algorithm being the Norway guy.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: It's funny because it's so interesting how algorithm rhythms go
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: for certain people. My wife over last week, concerned is
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: hacked about what's going on, and I ran and Iraq
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: and whatever and the bomb or bombing them, and then
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: oh my god, Trump's gonna do this.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Then I'm like, huh, chakes all over my feet.
- 1:09:33Speaker 9: I go.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: I'm saying one think about that. I got World Cup soccer,
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: I got biohacking stuff and feet.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: I don't know anything about it. What's going on with
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: Iraq does not one thing.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: The problem is if you pause for more than a
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: second or two on one of those videos, and then
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: you get thousands of other ways. So at some point
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: you must have found something interesting with the Norway guy
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: and maybe spent more than half a second on it,
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: and then they sent and they cut and it was
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: wild about it is it comes immediate. It's like the
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: next post is like, oh, and it's so brilliant how
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: they've done that. Because if you look at a clip
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: of the Office, just a random clip of the office, Oh,
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: that's a cute scene.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: I remember that next clip. More Office, yep, more Office.
- 1:10:15Speaker 15: Wait.
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: I only wanted to see that one clip with Office.
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: I don't need to see everything about the Office just.
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: Because I watched it one time.
- 1:10:20Speaker 6: Although I don't mind.
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: I do find the stories about Earling Holland like very lovable.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: I do too.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: We got a four pack of diamondback tickets on the
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: line in less than twenty minutes. Also got to tell
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: you this. Yesterday I taped another episode of the highly
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: successful John J. Vanes podcast, and I am now I
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: think I've done fifty three fifty three episodes. And I
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: didn't know this until yesterday. I have five hundred and
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: three followers on my YouTube channel. Oh go you five hundred,
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: Lets go three, five hundred and three, which, by the way,
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: I found out yesterday, when you have over five hundred
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: followers on your YouTube channel, you can start to monetize.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: We have thousands on John Jay and Rich Who gets
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: that money? You never know?
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: How come we don't just click that button?
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: The guy interviewed yesterday, this is fascinating.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: His name is he goes by the garden Nerd and
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: he lives over He lives over by you guys, the
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: garden Nerd, and he is such an interesting guy. He
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: even has a segment on TV. But did you know
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: he grows He has hundreds, he said, hundreds of trees
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: in his backyard. And the trees in his backyard grow mangoes, bananas,
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: all kinds of fruit and vegetables. Tell trees like, I
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: didn't know you can grow mangos here? He says, this
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: is some of the best place to grow mangos. So
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: he has mangos and bananas a dangle over the backyard
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: of his neighbors. He's got kettleops, he's got everything, avocados.
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: You can do it all here in this weather, which
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: I didn't think you could do that. It's really good
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: for the heat. Hare is really good. It's it's a
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: really interesting podcast. When it drops, I'll make sure to
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: promote it. Or go follow the John J. Vans podcast
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: on YouTube.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: We're gonna get some entertainment news that is coming up
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: next with John Jay and Rich.
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: Or throw some shade.
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: Oh yeah, all John Jay and Rich eight seven seven
- 1:12:04Speaker 7: nine seven one out for yesterday.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: I told you guys really about the Kelly Bluebook thing. Yes,
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: about your wife's car.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: She just text me this morning. She's like, I'm listening
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: to the show. You should talk about the Kelly blue Book.
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: People calling you because they called me again last night
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: and they emailed me. Oh my, probably with last night.
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: The guy Marcus calls me from Chapman and he's like, hey,
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: I heard I saw Kelly Bluebook. He wanted to sell
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: your cargo. It's it's sold ready, I don't want to
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: do it. Then he goes, can I ask you something?
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: I go sure.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: He goes, is this John j from John Jay and
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: Rich And I'm like yeah. He goes, oh, man, I
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: grew up listening to War of the Roses. And I'm like, hey, well,
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: thanks man. And I didn't know what to say, but
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: I want to be like you guys are like, I'm
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: getting lots and lots of calls because this stupid Kelly
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: blue Wood thing and I don't know how to get
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: out of it.
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: I'll telling you guys yesterday like I'm getting text messages, emails,
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: phone calls.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: But anyway, thank you Marcus. Yeah, thanks for listening, Marcus,
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: Kyle Pate. What do you guys got? What's trending entertainment news?
- 1:12:53Speaker 10: So apparently we're not the only ones that love Earling
- 1:12:57Speaker 10: Holland because Tom Holland loves Earling Holland. And actually there
- 1:13:01Speaker 10: was this rumor that Tom Holland had DMD soccer star
- 1:13:05Speaker 10: Earling Holland and got ghosted. And so last night Jimmy
- 1:13:09Speaker 10: Fallon asked him, is that true?
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: Yes?
- 1:13:12Speaker 16: And I'll tell you what that is exactly the type
- 1:13:14Speaker 16: of humbling experience that is important for actors.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: Yeah, once like they text him, I'll take him to dinner.
- 1:13:20Speaker 16: Not even a response, not an excuse. No, I'm busy tonight,
- 1:13:24Speaker 16: I'm playing football, nada, nothing.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: Where were you and why did you decide to do that?
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: I was at Monaco. I was watching Lewis race and
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: I saw him.
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: He was like a hospitality suite across from me, and
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: I just thought I'd shoot my shot.
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: He was denied.
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: Lewis Capaldi races like, yeah, but when you just use
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: clebrity's first names, supposed to know you talking about? Now,
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: if this story goes viral, the Holland guy will respond
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: and you'll see them meeting lunch. I think it is
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: going l which is what happened how Travis Kelsey met
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: Taylor Swift.
- 1:13:57Speaker 11: Yep.
- 1:13:58Speaker 10: I have a feeling that the Hollands, we'll both be
- 1:14:00Speaker 10: at dinner or dinner in Holland.
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: People will love that. Ariana Grande.
- 1:14:06Speaker 7: She completely flipped the script on her iconic breakup anthem
- 1:14:10Speaker 7: thank You Next. So during her Eternal Sunshine Tour stop
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: at the Barclay Center, Ariana she changed the lyrics about Ricky,
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: who she's kind of been seeing around dating.
- 1:14:24Speaker 16: We always.
- 1:14:27Speaker 6: Yeah, we always find our way back. Okay, here's the
- 1:14:29Speaker 6: original sounds about Vicky. I'm like, okay girl.
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: First of all, kind of on the same Taylor Swift
- 1:14:43Speaker 7: vibe on changing the lyrics to kind of rile up
- 1:14:46Speaker 7: your fans, But personally I love it.
- 1:14:48Speaker 6: I like that she gave the nod and obviously she's
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: over SpongeBob.
- 1:14:55Speaker 7: Rumors are flying all over right now that Coachella has
- 1:14:58Speaker 7: officially thrown out an awe for eight point five million
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: dollars to have Miley Cyrus headline and twenty twenty seven.
- 1:15:05Speaker 6: So since Smiley has been super.
- 1:15:07Speaker 7: Vocal about her hatred for like those massive long touring schedules,
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: I feel like a one off, two weekend headlining set
- 1:15:14Speaker 7: would be perfect for her and people would I think
- 1:15:16Speaker 7: they would have the same nostalgia that they had with
- 1:15:18Speaker 7: Justin Bieber last year.
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: I think it would be just as big.
- 1:15:20Speaker 10: She's so fabulous performing that would be That'd be amazing,
- 1:15:25Speaker 10: I know, And you.
- 1:15:25Speaker 7: Know we'd get a little bit of hand in Montana
- 1:15:26Speaker 7: because she's giving us what we want right now.
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: Make it happen, coache make it happen.
- 1:15:31Speaker 10: So back in March, Taylor shops fans are freaking out
- 1:15:34Speaker 10: because they saw her cuddling with a dog and like, what,
- 1:15:36Speaker 10: you're a cat person, you get a dog?
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: Did you?
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: And Travis adopt a dog?
- 1:15:41Speaker 10: And then everyone went wild yesterday because there were pictures
- 1:15:44Speaker 10: of Travis Kelce getting off a private jet in Florida
- 1:15:47Speaker 10: with a.
- 1:15:47Speaker 5: Dog, and they're like, Okay, so this is it. They've
- 1:15:50Speaker 5: got a dog. They totally have a baby together.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: Oh so it's official. They have a dog. It's not
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: a friend's dogs.
- 1:15:55Speaker 10: It could be I mean, it could be confirmed it,
- 1:15:59Speaker 10: but now we I mean, the dog's just traveling with Trevis.
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: You know, like that's kind of great. Also, that dog
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: hit the jack That dog hit the jack pot. I
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: want to be that dog.
- 1:16:11Speaker 10: Selena Gomez's mom got a little messy on social media.
- 1:16:15Speaker 10: She posted like a carousel of pictures and the first
- 1:16:18Speaker 10: one was like a picture of Selena and her sister,
- 1:16:20Speaker 10: and the seconde was the picture of Selena, and the
- 1:16:22Speaker 10: third one was another one. Basically, the captions were what
- 1:16:26Speaker 10: caused the controversy. So her caption was my greatest accomplishments,
- 1:16:31Speaker 10: love me or not, they're the coolest.
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: One day they'll see what a badass I am and
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: love me back.
- 1:16:36Speaker 10: As much as I love them, I'm just mom who
- 1:16:38Speaker 10: never gives up when they throw me in the trash.
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: I tell you, Mom, you're doing it wrong. Maybe we'll see,
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: but no matter what, I got your back. And everyone's like,
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: are you like calling?
- 1:16:47Speaker 10: I mean, you post a picture of Selena Gomez and
- 1:16:49Speaker 10: then with that caption, you're kind of airing your family's
- 1:16:52Speaker 10: dirty laundry, and the Selena fans are like dragging her
- 1:16:55Speaker 10: right now, saying that's totally inappropriate and unnecessary. Deal with
- 1:16:58Speaker 10: your family problems, you know, private. Selena deserves that. I
- 1:17:02Speaker 10: think she does totally. Millie Bobby Brown, She actually shared
- 1:17:05Speaker 10: she dealt with some problems very privately and in a
- 1:17:09Speaker 10: I guess conventional way in some cultures, but an unconventional
- 1:17:13Speaker 10: way in other cultures. She said she had a really
- 1:17:15Speaker 10: scary experience and turned to the monks to help.
- 1:17:18Speaker 19: I got chased by somebody in a place, and it
- 1:17:24Speaker 19: sent me into a three months long anxiety panic attack
- 1:17:28Speaker 19: where I had to do all of this stuff. And
- 1:17:30Speaker 19: actually I went to Japan and I sat with these
- 1:17:33Speaker 19: monks and it was the most amazing experience and I
- 1:17:36Speaker 19: got I'm getting tear eyed talking about it.
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: But it took me out of the cycle.
- 1:17:40Speaker 9: I needed it.
- 1:17:41Speaker 10: So celebrities get chased and hounded all the time and
- 1:17:45Speaker 10: heated rivalry star Hudson Williams is starting to get experienced this, right.
- 1:17:49Speaker 10: So he had a bunch of like autograph seekers start
- 1:17:52Speaker 10: following him and actually followed him home, and he confronted
- 1:17:56Speaker 10: them in a way that I think like all of
- 1:17:57Speaker 10: us might do if we just get to that point
- 1:17:59Speaker 10: where we just snap.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: Guys, you just followed me. No, no, sorry, you can't
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: do this. This is really weird. You guys aren't fans.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: You're being really creepy and you just followed me.
- 1:18:13Speaker 17: Okay, I went to don't.
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: I'm going to burn this home?
- 1:18:16Speaker 11: Thank you?
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Yeah, no, sorry, Okay, it's good.
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: It's interesting though that way some people speak sometimes, Like
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: I would have said, you followed me to my house
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: or my home. I don't think it was residence. Residence
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: is such a smart word.
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: It was official.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: Yeah, like if he's only had a lawyer like like
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: a it's so weird.
- 1:18:41Speaker 10: It's kind of scary for them to follow them home.
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: Totally scary. Pink Panthers.
- 1:18:46Speaker 7: She has officially been cast in the highly anticipated top
- 1:18:49Speaker 7: secret new film from the directing deal the Daniels. They
- 1:18:53Speaker 7: basically were the ones behind everything everywhere all at once,
- 1:18:56Speaker 7: which was huge with the oscars and stuff. But the
- 1:18:58Speaker 7: plot is actually like super tight underraps. We have no
- 1:19:01Speaker 7: idea what this movie is about, but we do know
- 1:19:03Speaker 7: that the roster includes Matt Damon, Sandra and Charles Melon,
- 1:19:07Speaker 7: so this is gonna be huge for her.
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: Charlie Melon, Charlie Melton. You see the guy that plays
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: dar Daredevil. I think he's Daredel with no Ed. I
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: don't think.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: Charlie Cox playing. Who's Charlie Melon Melton? Okay, who's Charlie Melkon?
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: Well, you said his name?
- 1:19:27Speaker 6: You guys would know usually you know the Yeah.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: You say Matt Damon. I'm like, okay, Charlie Melon, I'm like,
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: whoa he's am I supposed to know who that is?
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: I thought you guys would You guys know everyone, especially
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: you John.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: I know That's what I'm saying. I don't know what
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: Charlie Melon.
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: I think he was in Beef.
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: He was in Beef.
- 1:19:43Speaker 7: Yeah, he was in Beef in the first in the
- 1:19:44Speaker 7: first season, I remember him, Okay, in the second one.
- 1:19:49Speaker 6: He's the waight trainer.
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: I don't remember his physical, fair, good looking guy, though
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: I can see what they put it in.
- 1:19:53Speaker 6: He's going to be in it with Panthers and that.
- 1:19:55Speaker 6: Damon and Sandra.
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: You could be a Chase Field seeing the Diamondbacks for
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: Harry Potternet. We got a four pack of tickets on

- 1:20:07Speaker 3: after brand new doggle In or titter Swift. You know
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: every year, Get the News is on right around this
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: time where it's like one hundred and eighty degrees outside
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: and there's always helicopters rescuing people from cap'n Back Mountain.
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: Why are you out there hiking when it's one hundred
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: something degrees. I don't understand.
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: It's like, like I know that there's warnings and stuff,
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: but why does there have to be a warning it's
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: too hot?
- 1:20:33Speaker 7: And I wonder if with the storm last night that
- 1:20:35Speaker 7: they felt like it was gonna be a little bit cooler.
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: Still, you know, it's hot.
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: Yeah, that's sad. I think it's a lot okay, though.
- 1:20:42Speaker 4: I hope it's a lot of people from out of town.
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: That just don't realize you need water and you need
- 1:20:45Speaker 4: to not do that.

- 1:21:08Speaker 2: Does that sound good?
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: Sure?
- 1:21:09Speaker 16: Okay, you got seven seconds to identify what the song
- 1:21:12Speaker 16: is and who sings it, and then three seconds to

- 1:25:49Speaker 2: Things you need to know? Kyle?
- 1:25:50Speaker 10: So Instagram realized everyone hated their new futures, so they
- 1:25:52Speaker 10: have backtracked pretty much immediately. If you don't know what
- 1:25:55Speaker 10: feature I'm talking about, we'll fill.
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: You in next with John Jay and Rich.
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: Tular it Vculu, John Jian Rich. We are gonna get
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: the three things you need to know.

- 1:26:11Speaker 3: year ago to give away.
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: That's is true.

- 1:26:16Speaker 3: row without passing. You have one minute him Mariah, Hey,

- 1:26:25Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: How many kids?
- 1:26:27Speaker 11: Six?
- 1:26:27Speaker 9: If you can believe that?
- 1:26:28Speaker 4: Wow?
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: All right, well love, can you get a minute a piece?
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: Did you play this game?
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: I'm trying.
- 1:26:36Speaker 9: I'm convincing with bananas over here.
- 1:26:38Speaker 4: Okay, all right, all right, sixty seconds you get ten questions? Right,
- 1:26:43Speaker 4: you win a thousand dollars. Let's go, Mariah. Which fast
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: food chain is known for the blizzard.
- 1:26:51Speaker 9: Garry Queen?
- 1:26:54Speaker 4: What author wrote cat in the Hat Doctor SEUs? The
- 1:26:59Speaker 4: Bermuda Triangle is in what ocean?
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: Let me think Bermuda Triangle? Uh, I don't know.
- 1:27:13Speaker 11: I think it's in.
- 1:27:16Speaker 9: The Atlantic Ocean.
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: What artist is famous for painting the Bona Lisa?
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I don't know.
- 1:27:30Speaker 9: Da Vinci, Leonardo da Vinci.
- 1:27:33Speaker 4: What is the name of the band driven by the Thread?
- 1:27:36Speaker 4: Are the friends in Scooby Doo?
- 1:27:39Speaker 13: I'll say that again.
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: What's the name of the band driven by the kids
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: in Scooby Doo?
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, I have no idea on that one.
- 1:27:48Speaker 9: The band driven for.
- 1:27:49Speaker 5: The out of Time You've gotta go?
- 1:27:56Speaker 13: So yeah, I'm it's sure incorporated.
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: Well, yeah, the mystery the mystery machine is what we
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: were looking for machine.
- 1:28:06Speaker 9: You knew that one.
- 1:28:09Speaker 4: Him Mariahay that was distracted a quizzing there she was,
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: She's being surrounded by Churren's.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: Things we need to know.
- 1:28:25Speaker 10: So, I don't know if you guys knew this feature
- 1:28:27Speaker 10: came out. I started seeing a bunch of reels about like,
- 1:28:29Speaker 10: why are they doing this? Here's the settings on how
- 1:28:31Speaker 10: to turn it off. But Meta released an AI feature
- 1:28:35Speaker 10: and then quietly pulled it back right away. They backtracked
- 1:28:38Speaker 10: after people discovered it could use public Instagram photos as
- 1:28:41Speaker 10: inspiration to generate AI images, even if you never specifically
- 1:28:44Speaker 10: agree to it. So imagine posting a family photo years
- 1:28:47Speaker 10: ago and then finding out a I could just use
- 1:28:48Speaker 10: it to create brand new images without ever asking you
- 1:28:50Speaker 10: first what.
- 1:28:52Speaker 5: People were ticked off, real ticked off.
- 1:28:55Speaker 10: The backlash was almost immediate, so much so that Meta
- 1:28:58Speaker 10: ended up removing that feature. Sure, while people continue asking,
- 1:29:01Speaker 10: where is the line when it comes to AI and
- 1:29:05Speaker 10: the videos and pictures that you do post.
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: Does not seem like a pretty obvious line that they
- 1:29:09Speaker 4: shouldn't use your personal photos for something else.
- 1:29:12Speaker 10: It does seem obvious, but apparently it wasn't because they
- 1:29:15Speaker 10: had that feature that you could turn on and off,
- 1:29:17Speaker 10: but everyone was like, we don't want this if we don't.
- 1:29:20Speaker 5: Want it now, so they apologize later.
- 1:29:23Speaker 10: But it just kind of is like a good reminder
- 1:29:25Speaker 10: that sometimes, you know, companies are moving so fast with AI.
- 1:29:27Speaker 10: Sometimes they're launching and then finding they got to apologize
- 1:29:30Speaker 10: later and then delete it. So it's just always good
- 1:29:33Speaker 10: to pay.
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: Attention and you know, know what's out there.
- 1:29:35Speaker 10: America may be one step closer to getting rid of
- 1:29:38Speaker 10: changing the clocks twice a year.
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: Yes, daylight savings time, maybe no more.
- 1:29:42Speaker 10: I feel like every year this conversation happens. Some people
- 1:29:44Speaker 10: love it, some people hate it, A lot of people
- 1:29:46Speaker 10: hate it, and this time something may actually be happening
- 1:29:49Speaker 10: about it. Lawmakers are expected to vote this week on
- 1:29:52Speaker 10: a bill that would make daylight savings time permanent, and
- 1:29:56Speaker 10: we'll have to wait and see what happens, see what
- 1:29:57Speaker 10: they vote on.
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: Can I Can I play something for you?
- 1:30:00Speaker 3: I have been waiting to play this clip and I
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: didn't know why when I could do it, And this
- 1:30:04Speaker 3: is literally the perfect time plays clib It's our favorite
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: comedian Brian Reagan talking about daylight savings and other time zones,
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: and I lolled out loud.
- 1:30:13Speaker 17: I grew up in the Eastern time zone. I now
- 1:30:16Speaker 17: live in the Pacific time zone, and what's weird living
- 1:30:19Speaker 17: out there? When anybody from the Eastern time zone leaves
- 1:30:22Speaker 17: a voice message, they always feel.
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: They have to compute the time difference.
- 1:30:27Speaker 17: I'm always getting messages, Hey, Brian, it's four o'clock my time,
- 1:30:32Speaker 17: that's one o'clock your time.
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: I know what time it is where I am.
- 1:30:45Speaker 17: I have a friend who does that all the time.
- 1:30:47Speaker 17: He recently left this message, Brian, do me for ever
- 1:30:50Speaker 17: call me back. I'm going to be out for about
- 1:30:52Speaker 17: twenty minutes of my time. That's uh, just call me back.
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: Oh my gosh.
- 1:31:02Speaker 10: Because you know, Arizona, we already kind of don't really
- 1:31:05Speaker 10: do daylight savings. We don't have to change the cut
- 1:31:07Speaker 10: except in Page Arizona on the reservation they do daylight savings.
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: Exactly when we went up to Antelope.
- 1:31:14Speaker 5: Canyon and we had tours, we were like, wait, which
- 1:31:16Speaker 5: time do we don't know what to do.
- 1:31:18Speaker 10: We don't do that daylight saviers. So yeah, I can
- 1:31:21Speaker 10: get very confusing for all people. So I'm kind of
- 1:31:24Speaker 10: hoping that maybe they just vote to end it and
- 1:31:26Speaker 10: then everyone cannot have to do so much math to
- 1:31:29Speaker 10: figure out the time. Netflix just announced that they are
- 1:31:32Speaker 10: turning Monopoly Monopoly that's a new game Monopoly into a
- 1:31:36Speaker 10: giant reality competition show.
- 1:31:38Speaker 5: So the winner is going to get two million dollars.
- 1:31:40Speaker 10: Twelve contestants will actually live inside a life sized Monopoly
- 1:31:45Speaker 10: game sect where they have to negotiate, make deals, try
- 1:31:48Speaker 10: not to go bank drop, and honestly, it sounds like
- 1:31:50Speaker 10: Survivor meets Monopoly.
- 1:31:52Speaker 5: I'm kind of curious, That's what I was going to say.
- 1:31:54Speaker 7: I feel like anytime you like legit, sit down and
- 1:31:57Speaker 7: play a game of Monopoly, it gets.
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: Ugly, as can't take it easyliped.
- 1:32:02Speaker 6: Money gets thrown.
- 1:32:03Speaker 5: It also takes a really long time. Yeah, I'm wondering
- 1:32:06Speaker 5: are we going to do this in one season?
- 1:32:08Speaker 4: When we were playing online, remember Peyton, when I ran.
- 1:32:10Speaker 7: Up the score on you like I'm stealing all my money,
- 1:32:12Speaker 7: I actually deleted the app because you were making me
- 1:32:14Speaker 7: so mad, making so broken.
- 1:32:18Speaker 5: And that's three things you need to know.
- 1:32:19Speaker 4: We've already run out of time again. Oh well, kids,
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: that's all the time we have for today. We had
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: a lot, lot, lots lots lots of fun, but now
- 1:32:30Speaker 4: the time has come, see you to go, and.
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: We'll see what happens tomorrow.
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: After all, tomorrow is another day. To tomorrow, i'd be
- 1:32:41Speaker 4: in heaven, still doing this show.
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: See you some other time.
