- 1:17Speaker 2: content I've ever been to.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Yeah again.
- 1:19Speaker 2: And actually someone last night messaged me on Instagram a
- 1:22Speaker 2: listener I guess yeah, named Ashley and said, hey, Keysey,
- 1:25Speaker 2: I've got four tickets, but I only need.
- 1:26Speaker 6: Three if you want to come to Metallicate.
- 1:28Speaker 5: Yeah. They appreciate that, pas first and then they went
- 1:31Speaker 5: to meet second. I'm actually obviously already got my tickets
- 1:34Speaker 5: to the pit and then they've come to you last year.
- 1:37Speaker 2: How do you know that that was a How do
- 1:39Speaker 2: you know that was the order? That that was the
- 1:41Speaker 2: what the order?
- 1:42Speaker 5: Because I was I saw the text messages of screenshots
- 1:46Speaker 5: from Pugs Kesey. I didn't come out for a fight mate.
- 1:48Speaker 4: Yeah, man, I because he texted me first. I think.
- 1:55Speaker 6: I had a message on Instagram.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I'm already going fell us, so but thank you anyway,
- 2:00Speaker 3: maybe you have a little chat to pugsn right, So
- 2:03Speaker 3: I was fourth.
- 2:04Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, we're all good man. Are you taking the ticket? Oh? No,
- 2:07Speaker 5: I might tell them've changed my mind.
- 2:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Hey, speaking of Metallica, we've got some major news coming
- 2:14Speaker 3: up we do. Hey, But in the meantime, Mogi, what's
- 2:17Speaker 3: coming up on the show today?
- 2:24Speaker 5: What's happening on the Big Show with old Mogi. Well,
- 2:27Speaker 5: we've got a bloody huge show today. I can tell
- 2:30Speaker 5: you that we've got more and more of our fantastic
- 2:32Speaker 5: competitions that you'll be able to enter. I don't want
- 2:34Speaker 5: to give away too much details around that. We've got
- 2:36Speaker 5: some news around Metallica as well. Yes, can I just
- 2:40Speaker 5: say it's huge news, so you want to stick around.
- 2:43Speaker 5: We're not going to piss you around here. This is massive,
- 2:46Speaker 5: massive news for us and also for you the listeners
- 2:49Speaker 5: as well. And next up of course, oh Keasy the
- 2:51Speaker 5: mad dog, he's got a bone to pick.
- 2:54Speaker 6: In the meantime, Stone Table.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Pilots the whole Key Big Show, Big Days from four
- 3:01Speaker 1: on Radio Hodarchy.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Filter there on the radio hold Archy Big Show this
- 3:06Speaker 3: Wednesday afternoon. And boy, oh boy, New Zealand, do we
- 3:11Speaker 3: have news for you.
- 3:16Speaker 5: This is breaking news, bloody exciting stuff of course with
- 3:21Speaker 5: Metallica in the country. You know everybody's that's the hottest
- 3:25Speaker 5: ticket in town. And also the no vacancy sign has
- 3:29Speaker 5: gone up on Auckland accommodation there is. There are no
- 3:33Speaker 5: spear beds in Auckland, not a one. So if you're
- 3:36Speaker 5: thinking about popping up here for a little weekend, a
- 3:39Speaker 5: week and forget about it, stay home. And what's really
- 3:42Speaker 5: exciting for us is we have managed to secure an
- 3:44Speaker 5: interview with Metallica. We've been told that the entire band
- 3:49Speaker 5: will be coming in for a chat just after five o'clock,
- 3:51Speaker 5: which is bloody exciting for us. It may be that,
- 3:55Speaker 5: you know, i'd imagine one or two of them possibly
- 3:57Speaker 5: can't make it, but huge news for us, an absolutely
- 4:00Speaker 5: MESSI of getting really thrilled at the opportunity to be.
- 4:03Speaker 6: Able to sorry that coming in.
- 4:07Speaker 3: I've been doing radio a long time, fellows, some good radio,
- 4:11Speaker 3: some bad radio, but this has to be the highlight
- 4:16Speaker 3: of my career. And I'm going to be right up
- 4:19Speaker 3: front about this. I'm shitting myself.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Well you know what I mean.
- 4:22Speaker 3: I mean, how often do you get the chance to
- 4:27Speaker 3: interview Metallica?
- 4:29Speaker 2: Well, I mean, that's obviously a dream come true. They're
- 4:31Speaker 2: the biggest middle band in the world. I say, all
- 4:34Speaker 2: of them are just all four of them are coming in.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Well, well that's that's what we've been told, and it's
- 4:40Speaker 5: potential that will change. But yes, we've been talking to
- 4:42Speaker 5: is coming in.
- 4:43Speaker 2: So even just one of them, even just Kirk Hammett,
- 4:45Speaker 2: it's his birthday to day by the way.
- 4:49Speaker 5: Yeah, and we've had some big interviews before, obviously Josh
- 4:52Speaker 5: Homi from Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Dobbin, so
- 4:56Speaker 5: there's been some monsters, but this will absolutely take the cake.
- 4:58Speaker 5: So yeah, in short, stick around, we have got its huge.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Why have I.
- 5:04Speaker 6: Not heard about this until now? This is I'm freaking out.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Well because we were aware of the fact that you
- 5:09Speaker 3: haven't been sleeping very well, Like the last thing you
- 5:12Speaker 3: needed last night was to find out that Metallica was
- 5:15Speaker 3: coming into the studio, because I know what you're like.
- 5:17Speaker 3: You get veery angsty and about the big stars, and
- 5:21Speaker 3: so we thought let's best to just let you sit
- 5:24Speaker 3: for a while and you just dump it on your.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Lap, coming in on the day of a Metallica interview
- 5:29Speaker 5: and one.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Of your Yeah, yeah, we're.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Kind of in a horror of a mood now because
- 5:33Speaker 2: Kirk Hammered, James Hitfield, Lars Auric and what's the bass.
- 5:37Speaker 6: Guitarist guys, you know, Rob trujoh True TRUO going.
- 5:42Speaker 3: To be.
- 5:43Speaker 2: And they're coming in for an interview. What time are
- 5:45Speaker 2: they here?
- 5:46Speaker 5: After? Five?
- 5:47Speaker 6: Okay, I've got okay, I've got just under an hour
- 5:49Speaker 6: to prep. Yeah, yeah, okay.
- 5:51Speaker 4: We just don't panic. They're just they're just human beings.
- 5:56Speaker 6: Man, the rock gods.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I mean they're rock gods, but they're just human.
- 6:01Speaker 2: If you just sit this one out, Keys, no, okay,
- 6:03Speaker 2: I've got what about it? If I go, oh, how
- 6:05Speaker 2: did you? How did you come up with the name material?
- 6:07Speaker 5: Already? Honestly, you're giving me the Yeah, I'm giving me
- 6:09Speaker 5: the you're giving me anxiety.
- 6:11Speaker 4: And I was totally fine about it before then.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Ah.
- 6:17Speaker 1: The hold Achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy
- 6:20Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ikey.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Is indeed Faith no More. There on the Radio hold
- 6:26Speaker 3: Chy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 6:29Speaker 4: How are you feeling, Kesy?
- 6:30Speaker 2: Well, I mean, obviously I'm freaking out because you guys
- 6:32Speaker 2: have just dropped the bomb of me that all four
- 6:34Speaker 2: members of Metallica are coming in for an interview just
- 6:36Speaker 2: after five o'clock here on the Big Show.
- 6:39Speaker 6: Some morning would have been.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Nice, but I have You've got ten years experience as
- 6:42Speaker 2: a reporter. So I've thrown to give us some questions.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I think I'm going to be sweet. For example, I sit.
- 6:48Speaker 6: In the last break. You know how they come up
- 6:50Speaker 6: with the name Metallica.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Yeah, we don't want to know that.
- 6:52Speaker 4: No, I'm not interested in that.
- 6:54Speaker 6: No, really, I think that's pretty They've been around for
- 6:57Speaker 6: forty years.
- 6:58Speaker 5: I mean how many times have they been asked? There?
- 6:59Speaker 5: Just google it?
- 7:00Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 7:00Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 7:00Speaker 3: Right?
- 7:00Speaker 4: Okay, you're a middle band. They call themselves Metallica. Whooped
- 7:03Speaker 4: de dode?
- 7:04Speaker 2: Okay, wow, but a while since you guys will last
- 7:07Speaker 2: in New Zealand? Are you having a nice time? I
- 7:10Speaker 2: think that's good stuff. Like if you can say, you
- 7:12Speaker 2: know how you finding New Zealand?
- 7:14Speaker 6: What do you like?
- 7:15Speaker 5: You love New Zealand?
- 7:16Speaker 6: Get them to complement our country.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, about how amazing it is and how
- 7:20Speaker 3: much they love being here.
- 7:21Speaker 4: That'll be good.
- 7:22Speaker 5: Keys.
- 7:22Speaker 6: Okay, I'll maybe I'll start with that one.
- 7:24Speaker 5: That's really good.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Um okay, I mean you won't start with anything.
- 7:29Speaker 4: I'll be starting all right.
- 7:31Speaker 6: What are you going to start with?
- 7:32Speaker 4: You just chipping every now and then? It would be
- 7:34Speaker 4: my preference.
- 7:35Speaker 6: Well, what are you starting with?
- 7:35Speaker 2: They need to know what you're starting with, so I
- 7:37Speaker 2: know how to sort of slam dunk the elliot.
- 7:39Speaker 4: It's just surprise.
- 7:40Speaker 5: Well something about James Hitfield being an alcoholic.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Yeah, there'll be something like that.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Well, are you sure that's how we want to start it,
- 7:47Speaker 2: because I mean like that's something we can maybe work toward.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Something like heny one day at a time, is it, buddy?
- 7:53Speaker 5: Right?
- 7:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 7:55Speaker 6: And then what if we then go, hey, old Mogi's
- 7:57Speaker 6: on the wagon at the moment.
- 7:58Speaker 5: Oh yeah, good, but I see, but you could twist
- 8:01Speaker 5: my arm Jane, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Mean he's not you know what, mowg He's like he's
- 8:05Speaker 3: on the bastard all the time.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Okay, so that's what we're going to open with. Yeah,
- 8:09Speaker 2: all right, well I might leave you guys to do that.
- 8:10Speaker 2: But yeah, and then when that's once you've got all
- 8:13Speaker 2: the good oil there, I'll probably bring like Kirk Hamerton
- 8:15Speaker 2: and I'll say, hey.
- 8:16Speaker 5: Do people want to hear from Kirk? I was thinking
- 8:18Speaker 5: about that and I sort of feel like it's really
- 8:20Speaker 5: it's a James Hetfield in the las Auric Show, isn't it.
- 8:22Speaker 4: I think?
- 8:23Speaker 5: So?
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah, a member of Metallica is amazing, not Rob Torrello though,
- 8:27Speaker 2: but Kirk Hammett like.
- 8:29Speaker 6: He's the riffs that he's out there shredding. Yeah, he's
- 8:32Speaker 6: the bat.
- 8:32Speaker 5: You want to hear his riffs, but do you want
- 8:34Speaker 5: to hear his opinion? Yes?
- 8:35Speaker 3: And also I've heard he's a terrible interview. If we
- 8:38Speaker 3: can just ignore him, I think that's probably the way
- 8:40Speaker 3: to go. You won't need to bring him in, and
- 8:41Speaker 3: he will already be in here.
- 8:43Speaker 6: But when I say bring him in, I mean what I'm.
- 8:45Speaker 4: Concerned about it at this point is the microphone situation.
- 8:48Speaker 5: There's a lack of microphone.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Yeah, could you.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Well, we've only got three microphones in here, so the
- 8:55Speaker 5: only way it's really going to work is if they
- 8:57Speaker 5: have one microphone and take tunes, which I mean somebody's
- 8:59Speaker 5: going to have to give up the microphone.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah, right, So I guess that's gonna be an awkward convo.
- 9:04Speaker 2: How do we decide that? I mean, it's probably gonna be.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I mean because Jason is the anchor.
- 9:08Speaker 5: Yeah, and I'm the one that, oh, you can still
- 9:12Speaker 5: run the disk, g.
- 9:14Speaker 6: Be the disc isn't here, Jason, Well.
- 9:16Speaker 5: That's right, because it does that microphone. Yeah, that microphone
- 9:19Speaker 5: moves away. From your mouth. That'll be sweet. Okay, that's
- 9:24Speaker 5: sort of yeah, no good. But any questions you've got, Keysy,
- 9:26Speaker 5: just write them down and.
- 9:28Speaker 4: We'll see if we can fit them in.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, there was one question I wouldn't mind you
- 9:31Speaker 2: guys asking what's it like dealing with guys that have
- 9:35Speaker 2: got massive egos? Could you ask that for me?
- 9:39Speaker 5: Yep?
- 9:41Speaker 2: How do you how do you deal with some members
- 9:44Speaker 2: of the group being assholes sometimes?
- 9:47Speaker 1: The whole archy? Big Show was jas, Mike and Keysy.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Tune in on radio there on the radio, Hold Donkey
- 9:55Speaker 3: Big Show, there's Wednesday afternoon.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Tell you what, boys, I'm fizzing about this interview.
- 10:02Speaker 2: I really am what Metallica coming in, like all four members,
- 10:06Speaker 2: I want to know the other thing with them is
- 10:07Speaker 2: that I want to know is why is the quality
- 10:10Speaker 2: of the music falling off so badly?
- 10:12Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 10:12Speaker 5: Yeah, over these last few weeks been terrible, because really
- 10:15Speaker 5: good obviously, like you've got the early ones, you know,
- 10:18Speaker 5: Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, Kill Them All, Into
- 10:22Speaker 5: Black and Justice for All and Justice for All Unbelievable
- 10:24Speaker 5: nineteen eighty seven, the first album that I started listening to,
- 10:27Speaker 5: and then you got into Load and reload, we started
- 10:30Speaker 5: going mainstream. I know that's your sort of wheelhouse, but
- 10:34Speaker 5: then we've just completely gone off a cliff after that.
- 10:37Speaker 6: I don't enough we should insult Metallica.
- 10:40Speaker 5: It's just a question when did you stop caring about
- 10:43Speaker 5: the music at about what the fans look about the music.
- 10:46Speaker 2: I like Death Magnetic for example, which came out in
- 10:49Speaker 2: two thousand and nine.
- 10:50Speaker 5: One good song on it.
- 10:51Speaker 6: No, I love the whole album.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, But you're in the minority, aren't you,
- 10:54Speaker 5: because none of those songs charted. The album peaked at
- 10:57Speaker 5: number thirty two, you know, just all around.
- 11:00Speaker 2: But as a fan of Metallica, yea, let's let's just
- 11:03Speaker 2: hold this off until we get to them.
- 11:06Speaker 4: We'll drop it on them.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Well, look, if this is the questions, this is the
- 11:09Speaker 2: line of question that you guys going to run with.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I don't know if I want to be here for
- 11:11Speaker 2: the interview.
- 11:11Speaker 5: Well yeah, but you'll still run the desk.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, I mean you don't need to be here,
- 11:16Speaker 4: just run the desk.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah. But I think we want to ask
- 11:19Speaker 5: some questions that Metallica haven't been asked before, and I
- 11:22Speaker 5: think they've got a responsibility to us. The fans because
- 11:25Speaker 5: I've always loved them, but now I find I have
- 11:26Speaker 5: to defend myself when I say that I am a
- 11:28Speaker 5: fan because of these recent albums.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Right, yeah, I mean every every great band, Like I
- 11:34Speaker 2: don't really rate Pearl Jams last album.
- 11:35Speaker 5: Excuse me, you're sorry, You're what we and here's some stage.
- 11:41Speaker 4: You know.
- 11:41Speaker 3: It's my feeling that our fans out there would want
- 11:45Speaker 3: us to ask the tough questions. I look at Scary keysy,
- 11:49Speaker 3: I admit it, but I'm not going to back off
- 11:52Speaker 3: and saying that they have, as Mogi has said, fallen
- 11:57Speaker 3: off a clip.
- 11:58Speaker 6: But I've come to his ze biggest stage.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Yeah, that's right, just one.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Will you use the words sold out there? And this
- 12:05Speaker 3: is what I'm going to talk to them about. You know,
- 12:07Speaker 3: have you fell or sold out in terms of your
- 12:09Speaker 3: muse exactly?
- 12:10Speaker 5: Because they've sold out one stadium? But did Jelly Roll
- 12:13Speaker 5: come here and sell it out three times? And this
- 12:15Speaker 5: is what I'm saying, who the hell's Jelly Rong?
- 12:17Speaker 2: Exactly right, Because I was just going to ask obviously
- 12:20Speaker 2: I'm not part of the interview anymore, but I was
- 12:21Speaker 2: just going to ask them, well, what they were having
- 12:22Speaker 2: for dinner?
- 12:23Speaker 6: Tonight and stuff before the concert.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Just just on the Metallica and you mentioned Mogi that
- 12:28Speaker 3: all the rooms have been sold out hotels. I've got
- 12:32Speaker 3: a spear room at my house if anyone's interested in
- 12:35Speaker 3: staying there. Look, fifteen hundred for the night.
- 12:38Speaker 6: What dollars?
- 12:40Speaker 4: Yeah, fifteen hundred dollars. Bring your own sheets, bring your
- 12:42Speaker 4: own sheets, right, okay, So lord, so just take two
- 12:45Speaker 4: on three four eight three if you're interested in that,
- 12:47Speaker 4: and I'll get in touch with you.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Right your house is miles away from the stadium that
- 12:50Speaker 2: I was at an issue, not at all keasy.
- 12:54Speaker 1: The Hururarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio
- 12:57Speaker 1: hdikeys Managing Pumpkins.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Here on the radio, ho Donkey Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 13:02Speaker 4: But right now it's time for.
- 13:06Speaker 3: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Fellas, I just watched another episode of the show down
- 13:23Speaker 5: Cemetery Road with Emma Thompson. But I'm not going to
- 13:24Speaker 5: talk about it until I've finished the whole series.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Okay, Right, We're just going to leave it there, right, Yeah, Fellas,
- 13:30Speaker 2: I watched the show last night. You were a cool
- 13:32Speaker 2: Yesterday my wife and I were watching Love It All, listed.
- 13:35Speaker 5: Oh yeah, the second half of that show.
- 13:38Speaker 2: So but then my wife was quite tired, so we
- 13:40Speaker 2: had the New Zealand version version. Okay, my wife's quite tired,
- 13:43Speaker 2: so we cut it in half. We watched the second
- 13:45Speaker 2: half last night. All right, this couple selling a house
- 13:49Speaker 2: on the Norse of greenhith Yes and the north shore
- 13:52Speaker 2: of Auckland was filming there.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Just the other day.
- 13:54Speaker 2: You're joking, Okay, So here's what happens. They showed their house.
- 13:58Speaker 2: They've been in there for eighteen years. It's a bit
- 14:00Speaker 2: sort of bitsy. Things are all over the place, not
- 14:02Speaker 2: big enough. So they come and Alex who's the female presenter.
- 14:06Speaker 2: She then renovates the whole thing, and then Paul Glover
- 14:09Speaker 2: actor slash real estate agent, he takes them away, shows
- 14:11Speaker 2: them three houses that they could possibly buy instead of
- 14:14Speaker 2: staying in that house, and basically they then have to
- 14:17Speaker 2: choose at the end, are they going to stay in
- 14:18Speaker 2: their house now that it's rehn ode or move For
- 14:20Speaker 2: the first time ever, they chose list it, which means
- 14:23Speaker 2: we're going to sell our house. It was like, wow,
- 14:26Speaker 2: that's huge, And then the credits rolled and my wife
- 14:29Speaker 2: was like, well, did they sell their house? Did they
- 14:31Speaker 2: buy a new house. They showed them looking through three houses,
- 14:34Speaker 2: they loved one of them. Did they buy that house?
- 14:37Speaker 2: No closure whatsoever. So my wife goes on like a
- 14:40Speaker 2: bit of a snooping run in the internet.
- 14:42Speaker 5: There.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I fires up the internet, has a look in, finds
- 14:46Speaker 2: the third house, the one they said they loved, finds
- 14:48Speaker 2: that it has no recent sales history.
- 14:52Speaker 6: It is an airbnb.
- 14:55Speaker 5: You are kidding me. I think the TV show it's
- 14:59Speaker 5: a scam.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I think they just hired an Airbnb and pretended it
- 15:02Speaker 2: was a house for se But I have no proof.
- 15:04Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, no.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Proof because we couldn't find the exact address to check
- 15:08Speaker 2: like this.
- 15:09Speaker 5: You know, well, that's actually happened with another show, another
- 15:11Speaker 5: real estate show, and people were fuming because they recognized
- 15:16Speaker 5: that it was the house of one of the people
- 15:18Speaker 5: in the production company, and it was also a house
- 15:21Speaker 5: that was not for sale, right, and that they were
- 15:23Speaker 5: just taking people through it. It was complete bullshit.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Well, look now I have no like what we couldn't
- 15:28Speaker 2: find the exact address so we could look it up
- 15:31Speaker 2: and see if it was sold in the last twelve months.
- 15:33Speaker 2: But I was like, first of all, I didn't get
- 15:35Speaker 2: any closure from the episode, and then we find that
- 15:38Speaker 2: house looks exactly the same on Airbnb.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Yeah, drama, look just on that front, because I'm a
- 15:44Speaker 3: big fan of a place in the Sun, moved to
- 15:47Speaker 3: the country, et cetera, kind of along the same lines
- 15:49Speaker 3: of people buying property and the amount of times they
- 15:52Speaker 3: end the episode and my wife and I are like, well, did.
- 15:55Speaker 4: They buy the place or not? Did they get the place?
- 15:59Speaker 5: Yes?
- 15:59Speaker 4: And it's like they just chopping off, And.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I said, well, what was the point of that.
- 16:02Speaker 4: I don't even know what happened to them?
- 16:03Speaker 6: Like even a voice over at the end say, oh, Bob.
- 16:06Speaker 2: And Lynnette they sold their house living blah blah blah.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Nothing. It's suspicious, isn't it.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I was human, Yeah, but yeah, I mean I have
- 16:15Speaker 2: no proof.
- 16:15Speaker 4: It's a disgrace.
- 16:16Speaker 5: Well, look, we should get Paul Guver on. He's an actor, yes,
- 16:20Speaker 5: and we've acted with him before, Jase. We should get
- 16:22Speaker 5: him on and get him to answer these questions.
- 16:24Speaker 2: But then he won't as bullshit, He will not want
- 16:26Speaker 2: to come on.
- 16:27Speaker 5: He'll hate it.
- 16:29Speaker 4: But again, it's the big show asking the hard questions.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, right, that's right.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Actually, if we get Paul on, there's probably not enough microphone,
- 16:38Speaker 2: So Michael Monday, you step down if that's all good?
- 16:40Speaker 5: Yeah, it sounds good.
- 16:42Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Hod Ike Pleet would mak there on the radio. Hold
- 16:48Speaker 3: Donkey Big Show this Wednesday afternoon. Now plenty going on
- 16:52Speaker 3: after five o'clock. Metallica coming in Keys, He's got a
- 16:56Speaker 3: bone to depend on over Metallica.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Definitely coming in because I haven't heard anything from any
- 17:00Speaker 2: one about this, would you well, I mean usually pugs
- 17:03Speaker 2: will be coming in, like, hey, guys are going to
- 17:04Speaker 2: there ten minutes away.
- 17:05Speaker 6: You know that we haven't heard anything.
- 17:06Speaker 5: Yeah, but we're having to record in a separate studio,
- 17:09Speaker 5: so he's on the other side of the building, so
- 17:10Speaker 5: that's what that is. And they're probably not ten minutes away.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Just right a Windstone, come on, mum.
- 17:22Speaker 2: They went from lockstock and two smoking barrels, yeah, quote
- 17:25Speaker 2: to racist racism alert, racism alert, Okay, so that I
- 17:31Speaker 2: just don't want to promise that Metallica is coming in
- 17:33Speaker 2: and then they're not.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Of course.
- 17:35Speaker 3: And also this is what I'm really looking forward to.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Two after five o'clock Moogie walks to work.
- 17:44Speaker 1: The Hold Aching Big Show with Jason Mike and Kezy.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on radio.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Hold Ikey, welcome back here, Massive Backbones. Hope you are
- 17:51Speaker 3: getting through your hump day. Tickety boo. You're listening to
- 17:54Speaker 3: The Big Show, brought to you by Reburger.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Craive Worthy street food freshly made with Reburg Yeah, glots.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Rolling on.
- 18:13Speaker 6: If you've just joined us.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Huge news Metallica all four members coming into the studio
- 18:17Speaker 2: for an in person interview.
- 18:18Speaker 5: Yes, a huge git.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Even getting you know, a peripheral member of the band
- 18:23Speaker 2: on a on a bloody phone call would be a
- 18:26Speaker 2: huge ask.
- 18:27Speaker 5: Yes.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Because they've sold out, they don't need to do any publicity.
- 18:30Speaker 5: No, they've still got a few tickets left. Really, yeah,
- 18:33Speaker 5: it's a few tickets left.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, right, Okay, so that's why they're coming in.
- 18:36Speaker 5: Okay. Yeah.
- 18:38Speaker 3: And apparently, and I'm not being silly here, they do
- 18:41Speaker 3: know about us because obviously they're publicist has a look
- 18:44Speaker 3: at everyone that wants to.
- 18:46Speaker 5: Have a chat with That's right.
- 18:47Speaker 4: They love our work, apparently, so it should be a lot.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Of fun Metallica like the Big Show.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Wow, Yes, I know it sounds crazy.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Because you remember that photo when we did the Black
- 18:57Speaker 5: Class earlier this year, Keazy in the country, the nation
- 19:02Speaker 5: saw those massive nips of yours. Well, those reels went
- 19:06Speaker 5: viral and so at the time Kirk hammert actually liked
- 19:11Speaker 5: that reel. Kirk Hammet, Yeah, he likes, well, he liked
- 19:16Speaker 5: he thought it was funny, or the same way one of.
- 19:19Speaker 2: The biggest rock stars in the world came in and
- 19:20Speaker 2: had a right. Okay, it's agreed to have a chat with.
- 19:23Speaker 5: Us, and just on reels.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Now that I think about it, your nips are very
- 19:27Speaker 3: much like reels, aren't they.
- 19:28Speaker 2: See jas you're thinking of old fashioned films. We're talking
- 19:33Speaker 2: about social media. But yes, so that are next.
- 19:38Speaker 5: From pugs. Yet we probably get a call with it
- 19:41Speaker 5: ten minutes out or whatever before before six, okay, promise. Yeah, Well,
- 19:46Speaker 5: I mean.
- 19:47Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hode.
- 19:51Speaker 3: There on the Radio Hodaky Big Show this Wednesday afternoon. Now, fellas,
- 19:57Speaker 3: I want to chat to you about something that's been
- 20:00Speaker 3: genuinely bugging me.
- 20:02Speaker 6: And has it been bugging you?
- 20:05Speaker 4: Yes, bugging.
- 20:12Speaker 3: And it's this and I want to get your view
- 20:13Speaker 3: on it because I'm really struggling with whether or not I'm.
- 20:17Speaker 4: A terrible person. There, Yes, coming up very shortly.
- 20:24Speaker 3: My youngest daughter, my baby, is about to sit her
- 20:28Speaker 3: practical test for her license strivers, yeah, restrict, And I've
- 20:36Speaker 3: been struggling with the thought and feeling really bad about
- 20:40Speaker 3: it that there's a secret part of me that wants
- 20:44Speaker 3: her to fail, you know what, because there's a part
- 20:50Speaker 3: of me that's like the idea of my baby driving
- 20:54Speaker 3: off on her own and one of our cars terrifies me.
- 20:57Speaker 5: Babies are terrible drivers, and so I'm like.
- 21:02Speaker 3: That does that make me a terrible person driving a baby?
- 21:08Speaker 3: She's not a baby, she's of age in terms of
- 21:10Speaker 3: her driving, Okay, she's seventeen. Because I thought, I'm terrified
- 21:16Speaker 3: of it, and so there's a secret part of me
- 21:18Speaker 3: that's actually going.
- 21:20Speaker 4: I kind of hope she failed.
- 21:22Speaker 5: Because she couldn't reach the pedals and stream wheel. She
- 21:25Speaker 5: was a.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Baby, can barely even hold their own head up drive
- 21:30Speaker 2: around in a mass to hatchback.
- 21:31Speaker 5: And reach the indicators and stuff that wouldn't well.
- 21:33Speaker 3: And also, you know, they'd be sicking up breast milk
- 21:36Speaker 3: all the time, and you can't be spewing up breast
- 21:39Speaker 3: milk if you're trying to drive.
- 21:40Speaker 2: As they have to sit in a baby seato.
- 21:45Speaker 5: Seat. No worry, no wonder you're worried. Jas. It sounds
- 21:49Speaker 5: like if there is.
- 21:51Speaker 2: The situation, she probably will fail. Person shows up and
- 21:56Speaker 2: she's sitting in a booster seat in the back seat,
- 21:59Speaker 2: throwing up busy milk all over herself.
- 22:01Speaker 6: I mean that's an instant.
- 22:01Speaker 5: Doesn't she be failed on site? Yeah? You should be sweet,
- 22:05Speaker 5: you reckon?
- 22:05Speaker 6: Yeah? Did she pass her learner's test?
- 22:07Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 22:09Speaker 6: Really yeah?
- 22:10Speaker 2: Questions right, all.
- 22:10Speaker 4: The questions right. And she did it in like three minutes.
- 22:14Speaker 5: Wow. Okay, because it's on the screens now, isn't it.
- 22:17Speaker 5: It's on the screens like a multi choice.
- 22:20Speaker 2: If you go in and just say, hey, I don't
- 22:22Speaker 2: think my daughter should be taking this test because she's
- 22:24Speaker 2: a baby.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Oh no, I don't want to get interfeered that much,
- 22:27Speaker 3: but I think you're right. Once they see her in
- 22:28Speaker 3: the booster seat in the back there and she's got
- 22:31Speaker 3: you know, busy milk all over her chest, they probably
- 22:33Speaker 3: will go oh hang on.
- 22:34Speaker 5: I was just thinking of yeah, yeah.
- 22:36Speaker 4: Oh well that's the other thing too. I mean, what
- 22:38Speaker 4: if she shuts herself.
- 22:42Speaker 2: It's a tough one. Jason Man, I'm.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Sure you've made me feel better about it. Yeah, I'll be.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Fine because if she was a teenage like, you know,
- 22:50Speaker 2: seventeen or something, then I'll be like, stop being so controlling.
- 22:53Speaker 2: But yeah, yeah, she's a baby.
- 22:55Speaker 5: You got to step in there, man.
- 22:57Speaker 1: The whole Ikey Big Show week days from on Radio Hodik.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Who Fight is here on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 23:03Speaker 3: this Wednesday afternoon. Now, yesterday was a sensational day in
- 23:08Speaker 3: the Big Show with all ten Speed Mogi buying a
- 23:11Speaker 3: new bicycle, which he consequently rode into the radio studio yesterday. Course,
- 23:17Speaker 3: a bit of an internet sensation there, Mogi.
- 23:19Speaker 5: I did it.
- 23:20Speaker 4: All your photos there, I did it.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Yeah, people loved it, made old old ten speed Mogi.
- 23:25Speaker 5: Well, I know Jeremy Wells has seen it today. He
- 23:27Speaker 5: was absolutely frothing. Yes, that bike. He's very very excited
- 23:31Speaker 5: about it. Of course he went into great detail, great
- 23:33Speaker 5: boring detail about the history of the bike et. But
- 23:37Speaker 5: of course it was left here overnight because last night
- 23:40Speaker 5: when the show finished, it was fair person down, Yes,
- 23:43Speaker 5: which is funny.
- 23:44Speaker 6: Right, first out with a bicycle and there's an atmospheric.
- 23:46Speaker 5: River, an atmosphere Reverend I had to take an uber home. Yeah. Cool.
- 23:50Speaker 5: And then today I thought, oh, I've taken Uber to work,
- 23:52Speaker 5: and then I thought, you know what I'll do. I'm
- 23:53Speaker 5: actually going to walk to work now. As you know,
- 23:55Speaker 5: I hate walking if I can avoid it at all,
- 23:59Speaker 5: but I've bagger. It's not far. It's about a fifteen
- 24:02Speaker 5: or twenty minute walk if give it a crackant. It
- 24:04Speaker 5: was a good distance. CAZ prostate, Thank you. My prostate
- 24:08Speaker 5: felt amazing, really good.
- 24:10Speaker 4: You don't need to tell me. That felt fine to me.
- 24:14Speaker 5: So anyway, as I was walking along there, what I
- 24:16Speaker 5: was surprised by was I was actually enjoying the walk
- 24:20Speaker 5: because I got to get a feel for the neighborhood
- 24:22Speaker 5: that you can't get when you're sitting inside the confines
- 24:25Speaker 5: of a vehicle. Agreed, I was not engaged in focusing
- 24:30Speaker 5: entirely on the road as a driver of a car
- 24:32Speaker 5: or staring at my phone, and I as a passenger
- 24:34Speaker 5: in an uber. I was actually looking at houses. I
- 24:36Speaker 5: get to see things in a different way. There were
- 24:38Speaker 5: shops that I saw that I'd never seen before. There
- 24:40Speaker 5: is a storage facility up the road from us where
- 24:43Speaker 5: you can store obviously all your furniture and wines and things,
- 24:47Speaker 5: apparently your high class wines. They've built a tasting room
- 24:51Speaker 5: as part of the storage facility, this beautiful wine lounge
- 24:55Speaker 5: so that you can take your wine out of storage
- 24:58Speaker 5: and drink it in the super flash.
- 25:00Speaker 4: How good.
- 25:01Speaker 5: But I would never have seen that. No, there's cosmetic
- 25:04Speaker 5: surgery places as places where I can go and get
- 25:07Speaker 5: my hair hat done. Keys. Oh wow, you can go
- 25:09Speaker 5: and get hair transplants done. So I'd be knocking on
- 25:11Speaker 5: the door and going, and there there was a couple
- 25:13Speaker 5: of brothels. Wow. I mean it's a it's a lively
- 25:17Speaker 5: place to be involved. And I think that's the point
- 25:19Speaker 5: of going for a walk. I'm I'm I'm converted.
- 25:21Speaker 6: Wait, so you're gonna sell your bike.
- 25:23Speaker 5: I'm gonna get rid of my bike and I'm just
- 25:25Speaker 5: walking every now everywhere, now old.
- 25:27Speaker 6: Wha Wai, Express, Mogy, muggy.
- 25:28Speaker 4: And I was like you, I was the same.
- 25:31Speaker 3: I hated walking very recently, but I've got into walking
- 25:34Speaker 3: big time now because I find also not only do
- 25:36Speaker 3: you get to see everything that's around you, it unwinds
- 25:39Speaker 3: my brain for me and I start to make sense
- 25:42Speaker 3: of the madness of my life.
- 25:43Speaker 5: Yes, and what I liked as well was actually feeling
- 25:46Speaker 5: like I'm part of the community instead of just wandering
- 25:48Speaker 5: around and side my brain either listening to music or
- 25:51Speaker 5: listening to yet another podcast.
- 25:52Speaker 6: Did you his did you listen to anything while you
- 25:55Speaker 6: were walking?
- 25:55Speaker 5: Well, to be honest, I did. I listened to some music,
- 25:57Speaker 5: but a kid caddy. But it was good. It gave
- 25:59Speaker 5: me a soundtrack for the things that I was looking at.
- 26:02Speaker 5: But I still made sure that everybody I walked past,
- 26:05Speaker 5: I said how too, and gave everybody a good morning,
- 26:08Speaker 5: just like even.
- 26:09Speaker 2: An eyebrow raised. Just anything, man, that's all.
- 26:11Speaker 5: It takes a couple of poop conners. Oh wow, two
- 26:13Speaker 5: people by surprise. Yeah, they weren't expecting that. Yeah, okay,
- 26:16Speaker 5: And I recommend that whenever you're out on a walk
- 26:18Speaker 5: and somebody seess good morning, hit them with a poop conner.
- 26:21Speaker 5: Oh wow.
- 26:21Speaker 6: Yes, it's full on.
- 26:25Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarky.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Wed Hot Jilli Peppers here on the radio, hold Ache
- 26:34Speaker 3: Big Show this Wednesday.
- 26:35Speaker 4: What getting late in the day, isn't it feels?
- 26:38Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 26:38Speaker 6: Mate, that is getting late in the day.
- 26:40Speaker 2: And you guys have promised all four members of Metallica,
- 26:43Speaker 2: who are of course in town tonight, they're coming in
- 26:45Speaker 2: for an interview before six o'clock.
- 26:47Speaker 5: You said, well, ex classic rock, So isn't it They're probably
- 26:49Speaker 5: be raining late. Yeah, I know, worry about it too much.
- 26:52Speaker 5: What are you going to tell them off in they're giddy?
- 26:53Speaker 2: Well, I'm not gonna tell But that's the problems. I
- 26:55Speaker 2: don't even I'm not convinced they are coming, like how
- 26:57Speaker 2: did how did this? Even because we've been teasing it
- 26:58Speaker 2: throughout the entire show and we're not going to deliver.
- 27:01Speaker 5: Well, yesterday I was on the Instagram. I saw a
- 27:04Speaker 5: whole bunch of stuff about, you know, people talking about
- 27:06Speaker 5: Metallica and we'regain and blah blah blah, And I thought
- 27:08Speaker 5: to myself, and we hadn't talked about it. I was like, well,
- 27:10Speaker 5: why don't we get them in for an interview? So
- 27:12Speaker 5: I've seen Pugs a message producing a message and see
- 27:16Speaker 5: can you get Metallica on for tomorrow's show? And he
- 27:20Speaker 5: sent me there, I'll try real hard emoji. So I'll
- 27:24Speaker 5: try really hard emoji. What is that? That's the one
- 27:26Speaker 5: where it's got his eyes closed squinting so hard that
- 27:31Speaker 5: he's got tears coming out of his eyes.
- 27:33Speaker 6: Isn't that a laughing emoji?
- 27:36Speaker 5: That's really hard. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I feel like that's
- 27:40Speaker 5: trying really hard.
- 27:41Speaker 2: And then after he sent back the parent trying really
- 27:44Speaker 2: hard emoji. Yeah, have you heard anything about it since?
- 27:47Speaker 5: Yeah? I chased them up again. I said, how did
- 27:48Speaker 5: we go? And he went thumbs up? Right.
- 27:52Speaker 2: So we've had no comms with like their management or
- 27:55Speaker 2: anything like that.
- 27:56Speaker 5: I don't get involved in that. I talked, I talked
- 27:58Speaker 5: to the producer, the producer or going to Yeah radio.
- 28:02Speaker 5: We don't do behind the scenes stuff, Gezy. We're just
- 28:05Speaker 5: here to do top class interviews.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Well, I know, but we might not have a top
- 28:08Speaker 2: class into because I'm worried that Mogi's just asked Pugs.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Hear Mogi saying he gave the thumbs up emoji.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's the emoji before that I'm worried about.
- 28:17Speaker 2: He said it's the trying really hard emoji, but he's
- 28:19Speaker 2: describing the laughing emoji.
- 28:21Speaker 5: No, that's a trying really hard. Do you have a
- 28:22Speaker 5: look at it.
- 28:23Speaker 2: I feel like Pugs has laughed at what he thinks
- 28:26Speaker 2: you're joking. And then you've got, oh, that's the trying
- 28:28Speaker 2: really hard emoji, which I've never even heard of. But
- 28:31Speaker 2: it's a laughing emoji. I don't think metallic is coming.
- 28:34Speaker 5: Well we'll see, right, we'll see. I'm I don't think
- 28:38Speaker 5: Puggs would hang us out to dry like that. Exactly?
- 28:40Speaker 5: What is an absolute pro what? So if they don't
- 28:44Speaker 5: turn up and I've seen him a message saying, you know,
- 28:47Speaker 5: can you get them on the show? Yeah, I'll try
- 28:48Speaker 5: really hard, and then I say have you done? And
- 28:50Speaker 5: he gives me the thumbs up, And if they don't
- 28:52Speaker 5: then turn up, that's now my fault.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Well, hang on, but the thumbs throw us to the
- 28:57Speaker 4: lions like that?
- 28:59Speaker 6: The thumbs upper mo G.
- 29:00Speaker 2: So was it the blue one that points when it's
- 29:02Speaker 2: like comes in and it's pointing up?
- 29:04Speaker 5: It was thumbs up. It was definitely thumbs up.
- 29:06Speaker 2: And it was fasic. Was the thumb on the top
- 29:08Speaker 2: of the emoji or the bottom?
- 29:09Speaker 5: It was definitely on the top. It was on the top.
- 29:11Speaker 5: Now are you telling if you're telling me that he
- 29:13Speaker 5: was being how am I meant to know what a
- 29:15Speaker 5: sarcastic thumbs up looks like?
- 29:16Speaker 4: Exactly?
- 29:17Speaker 5: Like I'm using words instead of emojis, that's right, And
- 29:20Speaker 5: it's on pigs because I was using words.
- 29:22Speaker 6: So you're confident they are coming in.
- 29:23Speaker 5: Well, I'm one hundred per in confident based on what
- 29:25Speaker 5: I've asked Pigs to deliver and what he said he
- 29:27Speaker 5: will deliver. Right, Okay, emojis, it's ch easy.
- 29:31Speaker 2: We got the biggest out here, all right, So.
- 29:34Speaker 5: You know what, I'm just going to tell pangs to
- 29:36Speaker 5: tell them to figure. Yeah, it's just forgod, I'm going
- 29:41Speaker 5: to take to cancel. Can it's not worth it, man.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Send them a bloody the some cry emoji or something.
- 29:50Speaker 1: The Hdiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio.
- 29:53Speaker 4: HOD Radio Head.
- 29:54Speaker 3: There on the radio Holdarky Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Now coming up next week.
- 30:00Speaker 3: The Swingers Club is back the November edition Breakfast versus
- 30:05Speaker 3: The Drive Show and the Fellows on Breakfast were throwing
- 30:09Speaker 3: down the gauntlet a little bit with regards to that
- 30:11Speaker 3: particular golf competition, throwing a few shots our way fellers.
- 30:16Speaker 5: I don't think much of you guys.
- 30:18Speaker 4: They don't.
- 30:18Speaker 5: They think that you guys are horrendous golfers and that
- 30:21Speaker 5: you're easy beats.
- 30:22Speaker 6: Yes, you feel which is mostly true.
- 30:24Speaker 2: It's just that the Pretty Womani is terrible and cheats
- 30:27Speaker 2: a lot, and Jerry should be better than he is. Yes,
- 30:30Speaker 2: you know, he grew up playing one of the most
- 30:32Speaker 2: prestigious courses in Auckland, of course, so he should be
- 30:35Speaker 2: really good. But they kind of had to go at us.
- 30:38Speaker 2: We played them earlier in the year they won, and Mogi,
- 30:41Speaker 2: you brought up the point that we need to figure
- 30:42Speaker 2: out how we're scoring this thing this time, to make
- 30:45Speaker 2: sure it's nice and fear. Apparently this morning though, on
- 30:48Speaker 2: the Brickias Show, they were having a go at us again.
- 30:50Speaker 7: Well, if you want to add the scores again, I
- 30:52Speaker 7: actually think that would have ended up much worse for them.
- 30:58Speaker 7: We were tied through five hole and then we beat
- 31:00Speaker 7: them by four in the next four holes, So that
- 31:03Speaker 7: would actually seem to indicate we were a lot playing
- 31:06Speaker 7: a lot better than as Minogue's attitude to it, which
- 31:12Speaker 7: is quite which is reasonably bolshie. Yeah, and from man
- 31:15Speaker 7: i've never seen with a golf club in his hand,
- 31:17Speaker 7: and which is also equally as bolshie for a guy
- 31:21Speaker 7: who can't even walk eighteen holes.
- 31:22Speaker 4: Yes, and then and then keys He's like, I don't
- 31:25Speaker 4: think we should.
- 31:28Speaker 5: He knows we.
- 31:30Speaker 7: Don't need to pick some sort of we do need
- 31:32Speaker 7: to pack some sort of prize or punishment.
- 31:34Speaker 4: I think not having to do this show please. Those
- 31:38Speaker 4: other guys seem so confident.
- 31:39Speaker 7: What about Hidak He donates the entire show's wage for
- 31:42Speaker 7: that day to November, and that that team, the losing team,
- 31:47Speaker 7: doesn't get paid and their wage instead of going to them,
- 31:49Speaker 7: goes to November.
- 31:50Speaker 4: I love it. I'm right, I'm right into that. There
- 31:53Speaker 4: we go, we'll put that out there.
- 31:58Speaker 5: There you go, Eh, well, there is that's slightly interesting
- 32:01Speaker 5: to me. Now, the reason why it's interesting is because
- 32:05Speaker 5: when you're playing Ambrose, is it, Yes, somebody the other
- 32:08Speaker 5: person has to have at least one shot on the hole.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Yes, so you're in a peer that's right, you use
- 32:14Speaker 2: the best hits, but both players.
- 32:16Speaker 5: Have to have the hole. And so Manaiah's arrogance when
- 32:19Speaker 5: it comes to golf is I just don't know where
- 32:21Speaker 5: it comes from based on everything you guys have told me,
- 32:24Speaker 5: Because for the first four holes, every single shot was
- 32:27Speaker 5: played by Jerry, and then at that point they said, oh,
- 32:30Speaker 5: we didn't know that that was the rule, and then
- 32:32Speaker 5: that's when they started joining Maniah in as well. Yes,
- 32:36Speaker 5: so yeah, I mean I'm sure they won the last
- 32:38Speaker 5: four holes. It's look, it's great chat chat. But I
- 32:43Speaker 5: think I just think if you're not going to apply,
- 32:45Speaker 5: if you're going to going on total shots and you're
- 32:47Speaker 5: not applying your what do you call it your handicaps here,
- 32:50Speaker 5: I just think you guys have got a great chance.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and I'm looking forward to them losing because they're
- 32:55Speaker 3: saying that we should contribute.
- 32:56Speaker 4: Our days wages for that.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Yeah, and as we know Jerry, he will be contributing
- 33:01Speaker 3: twenty times what we contribute.
- 33:04Speaker 4: So that's real boom.
- 33:06Speaker 6: That's why he doesn't care.
- 33:07Speaker 5: Though, That's right, he doesn't care.
- 33:08Speaker 6: He's like one day of my wages, Oh wow, what's
- 33:11Speaker 6: that like? Ten grand?
- 33:12Speaker 5: Right, although he does have a real issue with giving
- 33:16Speaker 5: money to charity people, he's got a real so it
- 33:20Speaker 5: shows how confident he is.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Yeah right, Okay, Well I personally am not accepting that
- 33:25Speaker 2: because I get paid and reburg of vouchers. Yeah, and
- 33:27Speaker 2: if I don't get my rig Berger voucher, I don't
- 33:29Speaker 2: know what I'm eating for dinner.
- 33:31Speaker 5: So yeah, I'm not playing, So it doesn't seem fear.
- 33:36Speaker 4: I'm in man.
- 33:37Speaker 2: If you want to join one of our two teams
- 33:39Speaker 2: and play with us next week, Hudaky dot co dot
- 33:41Speaker 2: INMZ get yourself and the draw and it's all in
- 33:42Speaker 2: support of November.
- 33:44Speaker 1: The Hurdiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hdarky.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Welcome back your massive bank bones now plenty coming up
- 33:52Speaker 3: after sex and apparently old Keys he has a bone
- 33:56Speaker 3: to beck.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I do have a bone to Perkin. It's with one
- 33:58Speaker 2: member of the Big Show team.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Why do we even pretend that it's anyone other than me?
- 34:04Speaker 5: It could be Mois, we don't know.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Also, we've got meat patty Nips coming up after six
- 34:10Speaker 3: o'clock as well, giving out some advice.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Yeah, because if you just say we've got meat petty
- 34:14Speaker 2: Nips coming up, people that have just joined.
- 34:15Speaker 6: The show have no idea what that is.
- 34:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I think there's more people leaving than joining. Yeah,
- 34:19Speaker 5: but you're right, it's an advice on It's meet Pettips
- 34:22Speaker 5: sixty nine at gmail dot com. You flick our center
- 34:25Speaker 5: your su and the feelers here will try and solve
- 34:28Speaker 5: for right.
- 34:28Speaker 2: And of course coming up after sex, I'm assuming.
- 34:36Speaker 5: Down does it? Definitely have.
- 34:46Speaker 1: The Hiking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy. Tune

- 34:52Speaker 3: Welcome back to your massive bag lines. Hope you're getting
- 34:54Speaker 3: through your Wednesday tickety, but you are listening to the
- 34:56Speaker 3: big show brought to you by Reboogie with.
- 34:58Speaker 2: The straight Foot freshly with Rebig Year.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Can I just make the point too, By the way,
- 35:13Speaker 3: with Metallica coming in very very soon, a lot of
- 35:16Speaker 3: people texting in on three four eight three questions and
- 35:19Speaker 3: they'd like has to ask.
- 35:20Speaker 4: We really don't have time to do that at the moment.
- 35:22Speaker 3: We've got to obviously, the three of us combined have
- 35:25Speaker 3: a lot of questions to ask the band. So unfortunately,
- 35:29Speaker 3: I don't think we're going to get to those questions
- 35:30Speaker 3: from the listeners.
- 35:32Speaker 2: But the problem is, right, Metallic' is probably gonna be
- 35:34Speaker 2: on stage and a couple of hours time. Yes, by
- 35:36Speaker 2: the time they come in here do an interview with us,
- 35:38Speaker 2: probably two breaks for twenty minutes. Yeah, and then they've
- 35:41Speaker 2: got to get back across Auckland, you know, rush hour
- 35:43Speaker 2: traffic to well, it probably.
- 35:45Speaker 5: Just means it's going to be a reduced amount of
- 35:47Speaker 5: time that they're available to us.
- 35:48Speaker 6: Yes, right, okay, all right.
- 35:50Speaker 3: But jeez keezy, I mean I'll take what I can
- 35:52Speaker 3: give a Metallica for god No.
- 35:55Speaker 2: No, I mean absolutely I just, I just I just
- 35:58Speaker 2: don't believe that it's going to happen.
- 36:00Speaker 5: Well, I think it's good. Man. Don't get your hopes
- 36:02Speaker 5: up too high, because when we saw that your hopes
- 36:04Speaker 5: were home before you started freaking out.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Had a panic attack.
- 36:07Speaker 6: Did I have a Yeah, you did.
- 36:09Speaker 4: I thought you were stroking out on me there for
- 36:11Speaker 4: a second.
- 36:11Speaker 6: Oh you know if I was doing that?
- 36:14Speaker 5: Do you like? I do like audio slave, A slave
- 36:18Speaker 5: to the audio.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I am totally the hdiarchy Big Show week days from
- 36:23Speaker 1: four on Radio Hdarky.
- 36:28Speaker 4: Roses there on the radio Hodaki Big Show.
- 36:30Speaker 6: We're taking out a too far?
- 36:32Speaker 4: Now, what do you mean?
- 36:33Speaker 6: Oh no, never mind, how I've got a bone to pick.
- 36:36Speaker 4: I got a bone to me.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Last night was persing with rain. It was I have
- 36:41Speaker 2: a really big umbrella.
- 36:42Speaker 5: God damn it.
- 36:43Speaker 2: It's huge, makes everyone else look tiny. And Jason and
- 36:48Speaker 2: I walked back to the car park where we park
- 36:50Speaker 2: after the show and it's probably what four hundred meters yeah,
- 36:55Speaker 2: and persing with rain.
- 36:56Speaker 5: And it was absolutely pooring.
- 36:58Speaker 2: It was pouring down an ice into Jay's Hey man,
- 37:00Speaker 2: do you want to jump under my umbrella?
- 37:02Speaker 5: Which is huge?
- 37:02Speaker 2: Is like no, I'm more good men, and he put
- 37:04Speaker 2: his hoodie up like it's like a switch at hood up.
- 37:07Speaker 6: He's I don't mind getting a little weirt, Keezy, And I'm.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Like, just come underneath my giant umbrella and you won't
- 37:14Speaker 2: get wet at all.
- 37:15Speaker 6: No, I'm all good men.
- 37:17Speaker 5: Now, Jace, I'd like to hear your side of it.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, sorry, we should have started with the bullshit
- 37:22Speaker 2: side of it.
- 37:23Speaker 5: Now. I'd like to know because to me, it feels
- 37:25Speaker 5: like you would rather drown than be emasculated by stepping
- 37:30Speaker 5: underneath Kesey's protective umbrella.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Can I just say, firstly, Keezy, how much I appreciated
- 37:39Speaker 3: the gesture you can put there was.
- 37:41Speaker 4: This gesture there was just something weird about it. No,
- 37:48Speaker 4: there wasn't. There was not something weird of it was
- 37:51Speaker 4: like there was almost a vibe, you know, of like
- 37:56Speaker 4: geez woody, Jay, you're looking a.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Little cold, the a little fell I think one of
- 37:59Speaker 3: your crawl in under the douve here with.
- 38:01Speaker 5: Oh yeah, you know what I mean. As soon as
- 38:04Speaker 5: you started describing it, I had that vibe. Yes, really,
- 38:08Speaker 5: you didn't.
- 38:09Speaker 2: Get like a vibe of just two guys walking to
- 38:11Speaker 2: a car park while one's getting really weir.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Well, I'll be honest with you, I've never seen that.
- 38:15Speaker 5: What two guys under the same umbrella.
- 38:19Speaker 6: But that doesn't mean it can't happen.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Look, I've got no judgment of fellows want to get
- 38:24Speaker 3: under an umbrella?
- 38:25Speaker 2: Did well, why would you judge them anyway? It's just, oh,
- 38:29Speaker 2: look what that got? What that guy's umbrella is huge
- 38:32Speaker 2: and he's clearly mate to that other guy because he's
- 38:34Speaker 2: keeping him dry.
- 38:35Speaker 6: What's wrong with that?
- 38:37Speaker 3: As I say, what people do in their private times,
- 38:40Speaker 3: their business.
- 38:42Speaker 2: This is us walking back.
- 38:43Speaker 3: I don't I don't have an issue with it.
- 38:46Speaker 2: It seems like you did.
- 38:47Speaker 5: I guess whatever you're comfortable with.
- 38:49Speaker 6: Well, I'm not asking.
- 38:50Speaker 5: It doesn't feel like you were comfortable, Jason.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Look, there was just there are just some vibe I.
- 38:58Speaker 5: Made you uncomfortable?
- 38:59Speaker 2: Did I by asking you if you want to shelter
- 39:01Speaker 2: under my umbrella?
- 39:03Speaker 4: You're a little bit keasy? Okay?
- 39:05Speaker 2: Well I didn't realize what can I I'm sorry. I'm
- 39:08Speaker 2: sorry I say pressure you into doing anything you don't
- 39:11Speaker 2: want to do.
- 39:11Speaker 4: Look, I appreciated the gesture, and it was just a
- 39:16Speaker 4: bit weird.
- 39:17Speaker 5: Did you think he had ulterior motives?
- 39:21Speaker 4: I didn't want to think that.
- 39:25Speaker 2: You guilty, Okay, busted. If you'd come under the umbrella,
- 39:28Speaker 2: I would have tried it on with you, all right.
- 39:30Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 39:30Speaker 6: Are you happy?
- 39:32Speaker 1: The hold Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keezy
- 39:35Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarkey.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Recon tours here on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 39:41Speaker 3: Wednesday evening.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Hey fellers, the World Series of Kiwi Pong is returning
- 39:46Speaker 2: once again. It is happening at Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen,
- 39:49Speaker 2: which is up here in Auckland. Yes, it's happening November
- 39:52Speaker 2: the twenty ninth, which I believe is a Saturday. Yes,
- 39:55Speaker 2: and I'll be competing in that competition with Manias to
- 39:58Speaker 2: it from the Breakfast Show. The winner the competition gets
- 40:00Speaker 2: over ten thousand dollars. There are only two team spots left.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Hits Hadak you Dot codo in Zed, grab a mate,
- 40:06Speaker 2: get yourself along to that competition.
- 40:09Speaker 6: Feilers.
- 40:10Speaker 2: We've got, you know, frigging half an hour like more,
- 40:13Speaker 2: just over half an hour left of the radio show. Well,
- 40:16Speaker 2: I know, it's very exciting that we've got a little
- 40:18Speaker 2: bit of the radio show left. You promised Metallica were coming. Yeah,
- 40:21Speaker 2: four members whoo. The problem is like, like up next,
- 40:25Speaker 2: we've got meet Paddy Nips sixty nine at gmail dot com.
- 40:27Speaker 6: We're going to drop that for Metallica.
- 40:28Speaker 5: Well, yes we would, we would if they were here.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Yeah, totally really, come on, it's a staple part of
- 40:34Speaker 2: the show, which I know that it's Metallica we're talking
- 40:36Speaker 2: about here, Kesy.
- 40:38Speaker 4: I believe they're on their way.
- 40:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I believe they're on their way.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Yes, but do you do you have proof that they're
- 40:44Speaker 2: on their way? Are you just saying that?
- 40:46Speaker 5: Well, I mean, Puggs wouldn't have said that he had
- 40:47Speaker 5: trying his very beast and that he had secured them
- 40:49Speaker 5: if he hadn't.
- 40:50Speaker 6: Exactly he didn't say any of those words.
- 40:53Speaker 5: He sent you a thumbs up emojenc.
- 40:54Speaker 3: And look, if anyone should be freaking out or will be, Pugs. So,
- 40:57Speaker 3: I don't know why you're getting so ansty about it.
- 40:59Speaker 3: It's not your job to worry about that, it's Pugs' job.
- 41:02Speaker 6: Well, I can't help what I'm worrying about, Okay.
- 41:05Speaker 5: Can I give you a little bit of advice. Always
- 41:07Speaker 5: look on the bright side of life. You should be
- 41:10Speaker 5: looking at this as a glass half fall, not a
- 41:12Speaker 5: glass half empty. A huge opportunity. This is for you,
- 41:16Speaker 5: for us to interview the biggest rock and roll being
- 41:18Speaker 5: in the world, even though they've admittedly fallen off the
- 41:21Speaker 5: last sort of seven or eight l.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Can we cant of stop mentioning that because it doesn't matter.
- 41:27Speaker 2: I just the thing I'm really worried about is promising
- 41:29Speaker 2: all show that all for men as a Metallica coming
- 41:31Speaker 2: in and then them not showing up. It makes us
- 41:34Speaker 2: look like we're liars.
- 41:35Speaker 5: Well, it makes Pugs look like a lie, make me
- 41:37Speaker 5: look like we're the one saying it on it. I
- 41:39Speaker 5: know we're saying that based on the trust that we've
- 41:42Speaker 5: got and the producer of the Big Show.
- 41:46Speaker 3: And what it is showing me and the audience is
- 41:48Speaker 3: what a worry wart you are.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I'm not worry w.
- 41:56Speaker 6: It's so really funny, is water Keezy?
- 42:02Speaker 5: It's got a ring to it?
- 42:04Speaker 2: No, it doesn't.
- 42:05Speaker 1: The Hodarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune in.
- 42:11Speaker 4: On Radio Metellica.
- 42:13Speaker 3: There on the radio Hold Archy Big Show this Wednesday evening.
- 42:18Speaker 2: Let's get out, Well hang on because I put that
- 42:20Speaker 2: song in because this is where we're supposed to be
- 42:22Speaker 2: chanting to Metallica. Yes, and we're going to say, oh wherever,
- 42:24Speaker 2: I'm a Roman Metallica. Speaking of which, the Fellers are here,
- 42:27Speaker 2: but they're not here.
- 42:28Speaker 5: Traffic shocking out there.
- 42:31Speaker 6: We've got almost no time left in the show.
- 42:33Speaker 5: If they don't turn up, they don't turn up. But
- 42:35Speaker 5: it's not on us, it's on them. They should be
- 42:36Speaker 5: ashamed of themselves. You make a commitment to one of
- 42:39Speaker 5: the top radio shows in the country and then you
- 42:42Speaker 5: don't bother to turn up. You don't think about, oh, look,
- 42:44Speaker 5: I've got to leave the stadium at this time in
- 42:46Speaker 5: order to get to this place at this time and
- 42:48Speaker 5: make the meeting time that I promise. Shocking shocking. Yeah,
- 42:52Speaker 5: and I'll be jumping straight on their Instagram account to
- 42:55Speaker 5: have a bloody good go at them, bloody good go
- 42:58Speaker 5: I'm fuming at the moment. They're sixty.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Get in touch with the Feelers. It's a really email address.
- 43:12Speaker 2: If you need advice on anything, let us know and
- 43:15Speaker 2: if we read it out on the show, you get
- 43:16Speaker 2: a fifty dollars Reburger voucher. This one comes from anonymous Feelers.
- 43:21Speaker 2: You get a Feelers after some genuine advice. Here Feelers
- 43:26Speaker 2: grabbed a bunting snag the other day and left it
- 43:28Speaker 2: in my van cup holder while loading timber. When I
- 43:31Speaker 2: hopped back in, it was gone clean, vanish, no crumbs,
- 43:35Speaker 2: no sauce, nothing. And then I spot my WORKMATEE nearby
- 43:39Speaker 2: chewing suspiciously with that guilty hamsterd cheek look onion in
- 43:45Speaker 2: his beard, grease shining like he moisturized with canola oil.
- 43:48Speaker 2: I'm like, bro, did you take my snag? He goes,
- 43:51Speaker 2: you snooze, you lose? After pretty much deep throating my sausage.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Suffice to say, I was seething as we didn't have
- 43:59Speaker 2: time to get another. My questions are, do I demand
- 44:01Speaker 2: a new sausage? Do I demand that? Or does the
- 44:05Speaker 2: law your snooze you lose actually have a place here?
