Kalyan Hospitality just bought the Graduate by Hilton on Franklin Street for $20.7 million — a move that brings the hotel back to its VCU roots, with CEO Nick Patel, a proud VCU alum, leading the charge. Originally purchased by AJ Capital in 2015 for $9.5 million, the property is now under new management while keeping the Graduate brand intact and the popular rooftop bar, Byrd House, open.
