- 0:02Speaker 1: On scoring leaves Austrodia. This is the Wader Panalty Show.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Good evening and welcome to the Rita Panety Show coming
- 0:10Speaker 2: up tonight, which Australian University is forcing students to take
- 0:14Speaker 2: part in a privileged walk. Nick Kator will be here
- 0:17Speaker 2: to discuss Presidents Trump and Zelenski had an hour long
- 0:21Speaker 2: conversation earlier today, with the Ukrainian leader full of praise
- 0:25Speaker 2: PUS President and saying a.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Bee still is close.
- 0:29Speaker 4: Batiya Ula Sargon has the details, and the fierce and
- 0:32Speaker 4: fabulous Sarah Gonzales has the latest medium meltdowns from the US,
- 0:38Speaker 4: and later in the hour, Kinseysko Field will tell us
- 0:41Speaker 4: which famous actor has been pressured to run politics.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Left is losing it. We never forget that.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Tonight it stars John Stewart, and you know the Democrats
- 0:50Speaker 2: are struggling when even the lefty comics are mocking them.
- 0:53Speaker 5: You're a twenty five.
- 0:56Speaker 6: You've got to get Trump to lose eight points of
- 0:59Speaker 6: popularity just for you to get to the point where
- 1:03Speaker 6: you're thirteen points below him.
- 1:06Speaker 2: But first, the Victorian labor government's war against property investors
- 1:10Speaker 2: has intensified further with another tax hike for Mum and
- 1:15Speaker 2: Dad investors landlords will pay a higher rate under Labour's
- 1:18Speaker 2: new tax to fund Victoria's emergency services. Treasure a Jascelent
- 1:23Speaker 2: Simes has defended the tax increase by saying that landlords
- 1:27Speaker 2: can afford it.
- 1:28Speaker 7: It is not unusual for higher rates to apply to
- 1:32Speaker 7: investment properties rather than principal places of residencies, recognizing generally
- 1:37Speaker 7: high capacity to pay. There is less impost on the
- 1:41Speaker 7: lower level homes and more on those that can afford
- 1:46Speaker 7: to pay more, such as commercial properties and investment properties.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Yeah, they can afford to cover these extra taxes, these
- 1:52Speaker 2: tax hikes by charging more edd Does you understand that?
- 1:56Speaker 2: And let's not forget Victorian property investors are already selling
- 2:00Speaker 2: out in huge numbers because of big increases in land
- 2:04Speaker 2: tax rates, meaning the pull of rental properties is shrinking further,
- 2:09Speaker 2: forcing rents higher. But they can afford it. According to
- 2:13Speaker 2: the treasure that would be the same treasurer who is
- 2:16Speaker 2: so inept, so out of her death that her staff
- 2:19Speaker 2: were told to stop using economic terms and phrases in
- 2:23Speaker 2: all their communications with the treasure as he doesn't have
- 2:27Speaker 2: a clue what you're talking about. Fantastic joining me now
- 2:31Speaker 2: for more on this, a senior fellow at the Mensis
- 2:34Speaker 2: Research Center, Nick Kaita. Nick, it's one thing not to
- 2:38Speaker 2: understand the economic terms the jargon, but it's far worse
- 2:42Speaker 2: that the Treasurer appears to be completely ignorant of basic
- 2:47Speaker 2: economic concepts. And this war on property investors, it's not
- 2:51Speaker 2: one that's going to end well for the state.
- 2:54Speaker 8: No, I mean because the consequences of course that rents
- 2:57Speaker 8: go up. You know, landlord's only got one way to
- 3:00Speaker 8: pass on that additional cost, and that's by putting rents up.
- 3:03Speaker 8: But it is deeply ideological, isn't it. In the Labor
- 3:07Speaker 8: Party they just hate the landlord class. I think that
- 3:10Speaker 8: was what Chairman Mao used to call it, the landlord
- 3:12Speaker 8: class because they think they're rich, but in actual fact
- 3:16Speaker 8: that's not true in Australia when it comes to the
- 3:18Speaker 8: private sector property market. You know, these are mum and
- 3:22Speaker 8: dad investors. These are people that just put a nest
- 3:25Speaker 8: egg aside for their retirement by investing in a property
- 3:29Speaker 8: and they don't have a lot of money. They've got
- 3:31Speaker 8: an asset there, but they can't realize the asset. This
- 3:33Speaker 8: really does hit a lot of people hard when they
- 3:36Speaker 8: introduce this kind of vicious tax. And you've seen, haven't
- 3:39Speaker 8: you in Victoria that a lot of these people are
- 3:41Speaker 8: getting out of the property market. It's just not worth
- 3:44Speaker 8: it anymore, and so that's pushing prices down. And I
- 3:47Speaker 8: don't think there's any great flow through to increasing the
- 3:51Speaker 8: amount of people who own their own homes. Quite the opposite.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Now, let's check in with Labour's social media camp as
- 4:00Speaker 2: Federal Labor. This next ad is apparently about the Medicare policy,
- 4:14Speaker 2: and this is their attempt at criticizing Peter Dutton's nuclear policy.
- 4:20Speaker 9: Breaking news, after escaping a train heading to an infamous
- 4:23Speaker 9: Norway prison for the murder of John Pork, Tim Cheese
- 4:26Speaker 9: has been spotted in Australia working on Peter Dutton's risky
- 4:30Speaker 9: and expensive nuclear scheme. In a letter confiscated from Mama Cheese,
- 4:34Speaker 9: Tim Cheese states Peter Dutton's plan will cost taxpayers six
- 4:38Speaker 9: hundred billion dollars.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Look, I'm I'm lost for words. I'm not exactly sure
- 4:44Speaker 2: what's happening there. But these are official Labor Party ads, Nick.
- 4:47Speaker 2: These aren't just things you know, random people on the
- 4:50Speaker 2: internet are put together.
- 4:52Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 4:54Speaker 8: Well, I don't think it's by demographic they're aiming for reader.
- 4:57Speaker 8: So you know, a lot of this stuff passes me
- 4:59Speaker 8: by and so forth, But I honestly don't get it
- 5:02Speaker 8: unless there's a reference there I'm missing. These are just crass, stupid,
- 5:07Speaker 8: indeed sexist. I suppose you know, I didn't think we
- 5:09Speaker 8: were supposed to be objectifying women's bodies in the way
- 5:12Speaker 8: they seem to want to do there. It is mystifying,
- 5:15Speaker 8: And maybe it's just too clever for you and me.
- 5:17Speaker 8: Maybe it's actually got its target audience. It's hitting it
- 5:20Speaker 8: right in the middle, but no for me. They've got
- 5:23Speaker 8: to do a bit better than this, haven't they.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Well you would hope so.
- 5:28Speaker 2: But at least they're keeping it interesting and you never
- 5:31Speaker 2: know what they're coming up with next. I'm not suggesting
- 5:34Speaker 2: there's any substances involved, but that industry sometimes, you know,
- 5:39Speaker 2: they do partake in illicit substances and come up with
- 5:42Speaker 2: some very creative concepts as a result. Now we've had
- 5:46Speaker 2: an update on the leftist ideology being forced on law
- 5:50Speaker 2: students at mcquarie University.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Not only are they.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Required to give what they is called a satisfactory acknowledgment
- 5:57Speaker 2: of country that has to be very respectful and if
- 6:01Speaker 2: they don't, they're under the threat of being failed on
- 6:04Speaker 2: a key part of their exam.
- 6:06Speaker 3: But they're also being told they have to take part
- 6:08Speaker 3: in a privileged walk.
- 6:10Speaker 2: This is to explore how privileged or oppressed they may be.
- 6:14Speaker 2: And Nick, look at this academics message, just casually talking
- 6:19Speaker 2: about acknowledging your positionality as a student of law on
- 6:23Speaker 2: this unseeded land. What is going on at mcquarie University.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I think it was only last week we're talking about
- 6:31Speaker 2: how they were referring to every person in this country
- 6:35Speaker 2: who is not Indigenous as a settler or a visitor.
- 6:41Speaker 8: Yeah, this is a new made up word, isn't it. Positionality?
- 6:44Speaker 8: We have to acknowledge our positionality. So I will acknowledge
- 6:48Speaker 8: my positionality as a conservative bloke who thinks all this
- 6:52Speaker 8: stuff is just ridiculous. But it's worse than that. It's oppressive,
- 6:56Speaker 8: isn't it. This is a sort of thing you'd expect
- 6:58Speaker 8: out of, you know, a store, out of communist Stalin's
- 7:01Speaker 8: communist Russia, you know, forcing people to confess and forcing
- 7:05Speaker 8: people to make these statements and not just make them,
- 7:08Speaker 8: but show they really believe them. No room for sort
- 7:11Speaker 8: of sarcasm here. You actually have to show how much
- 7:14Speaker 8: you believe this stuff. It is authoritarian and it's frightening.
- 7:19Speaker 8: I think the only good thing we can say is that,
- 7:22Speaker 8: certainly outside the university's this sort of nonsense is slowly
- 7:26Speaker 8: being revealed as nonsense and is disappearing DEI, but I
- 7:31Speaker 8: suspect he's going to hang around in places like the
- 7:33Speaker 8: Lord Department of Macquarie University considerably longer than it will
- 7:37Speaker 8: in the community as a whole.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yes, Nigga seems academia is doubling down on this craziness,
- 7:43Speaker 2: just as the rest of the country has said we've
- 7:45Speaker 2: had enough, particularly post referendum, so expect to see more
- 7:49Speaker 2: of it because it all started in academia and they're
- 7:52Speaker 2: not backing away now.
- 7:54Speaker 3: A little bit of a different story.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Melbourne Beauty Clinics City Slim and Laser Clinic is suing
- 8:00Speaker 2: a Dina Logo, a client of THEIRS, for defamation after
- 8:04Speaker 2: she left a critical one star Google review earlier.
- 8:08Speaker 3: In the year.
- 8:08Speaker 2: The clinic is seeking an apology, They want the post
- 8:12Speaker 2: down and they want two hundred dollars from the customer
- 8:16Speaker 2: for writing the negative review. A lot of people write
- 8:21Speaker 2: reviews for everything they do, whether they're getting a coffee
- 8:25Speaker 2: from the local cafe or a service. Should you be
- 8:29Speaker 2: open to defamation proceedings for leaving a one star review?
- 8:34Speaker 8: There's no point in having a review system if you
- 8:36Speaker 8: can't say what you think. And I think a one
- 8:38Speaker 8: star is a fair review. Just take it on the chin,
- 8:41Speaker 8: and they're welcome to turn around and give this logo
- 8:44Speaker 8: a one star review as a customer if they want.
- 8:46Speaker 8: This is how it should be.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Nicata, thank you for your time tonight.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Now, former First Lady Michelle Obame is often spoken about
- 8:54Speaker 2: as a future presidential candidate. The Democrats are so desperate
- 8:59Speaker 2: for any par figure to take over the party.
- 9:01Speaker 3: But how popular is she?
- 9:04Speaker 2: Michelle Obama's launched a new advice podcast, I'MO Too Much Fanfare.
- 9:10Speaker 2: It's a podcast co hosted with her brother Craig Robinson.
- 9:14Speaker 10: You know, speaking at leadership conferences, things you do as
- 9:17Speaker 10: a coach, you realize that what we have, even in
- 9:25Speaker 10: our lack of resources, you know, in our household growing up.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Just scintillating stuff, folks.
- 9:32Speaker 2: And the audience numbers, I've got to say are not great.
- 9:36Speaker 2: The latest edition on YouTube features Hollywood star Seth Rogan.
- 9:41Speaker 2: But it's just got six and a half thousand views
- 9:43Speaker 2: in thirteen hours, not even that six four hundred. Now,
- 9:47Speaker 2: I don't want to brag about my Lefty's video, but
- 9:50Speaker 2: the one from just last night's program is already sitting
- 9:53Speaker 2: on eight hundred and ninety four thousand in sixteen hours,
- 9:57Speaker 2: well over a million by now. But then again, left
- 10:00Speaker 2: He's losing it is pretty awesome. Joining me now is
- 10:03Speaker 2: journalist and author Batia Unga Saga and Vitia. What did
- 10:08Speaker 2: you make of Michelle Obama's latest project?
- 10:11Speaker 3: Is it relatable? Is it likable? Useful?
- 10:16Speaker 11: So?
- 10:16Speaker 12: I wrote a column about it for Unheard, and then
- 10:19Speaker 12: somebody wrote to me in the comments, Oh, you're the
- 10:21Speaker 12: person who listened to the podcast. You're absolutely right that
- 10:27Speaker 12: it does not seem to have found an audience. And
- 10:29Speaker 12: the reason for that is because the same thing that
- 10:33Speaker 12: ails the Democratic Party in general ails this podcast. It's
- 10:38Speaker 12: for and by rich women. And it's so amazing that
- 10:44Speaker 12: this has not seeped in. That the Democrats have such
- 10:48Speaker 12: a problem with men and such a problem with the
- 10:50Speaker 12: working class, and yet Michelle Obama's podcast, her guests are
- 10:54Speaker 12: all other unbelievably wealthy people. Like her, And I mean,
- 11:00Speaker 12: we just don't have the problems that the average American
- 11:03Speaker 12: needs advice on because these people are all gazillionaires.
- 11:08Speaker 5: And what's amazing.
- 11:09Speaker 12: And really offensive about this to me, Rita, is that
- 11:13Speaker 12: Michelle Obama grew up working class. She grew up in
- 11:17Speaker 12: a black working class household. And we know that black
- 11:21Speaker 12: Americans struggle to make it into the middle class. Even
- 11:25Speaker 12: black men who were born wealthy more often than not
- 11:30Speaker 12: find their way into the lower classes and end up poor.
- 11:33Speaker 12: This is absolutely devastating. And Michelle Obama and her brother
- 11:37Speaker 12: Craig Robinson have the answers to how to solve this problem.
- 11:42Speaker 12: They grew up working class and they are both millionaires.
- 11:46Speaker 12: And yet Rita, they are gatekeeping the secrets that so
- 11:51Speaker 12: many Americans are desperate to hear, and instead they sit
- 11:54Speaker 12: around with their wealthy friends and talk about things like
- 11:58Speaker 12: when to end a friendship. And I find that a
- 12:01Speaker 12: little bit offensive.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 12:05Speaker 2: And the Democrats have become, as a one very astute
- 12:11Speaker 2: judge said, a party for weak men and miserable women.
- 12:15Speaker 2: And it does seem to be what's ruining the party
- 12:18Speaker 2: right now and making it unelectable.
- 12:21Speaker 3: And when it comes to Michelle Obama.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Do you see her as a future politician, perhaps even
- 12:27Speaker 2: a presidential candidate. She's always spoken about in those terms,
- 12:33Speaker 2: her popularity, her appeal to female voters. But I wonder
- 12:37Speaker 2: whether all of that is wildly overstated.
- 12:41Speaker 12: I think it is. First of all, reportedly she hates politics,
- 12:45Speaker 12: and so I would be very surprised if she found
- 12:47Speaker 12: her way into politics on a personal level. But also Rita,
- 12:52Speaker 12: she seems very consumed by grievance culture. Her speech at
- 12:58Speaker 12: the DNC this year was really shocking. I mean it
- 13:03Speaker 12: was about the you know, the myth of the persistence
- 13:06Speaker 12: of racism and how hard it is to be a
- 13:09Speaker 12: person of color in America. She's worth seventy million dollars.
- 13:13Speaker 12: I mean, she's sort of the proof positive that this
- 13:15Speaker 12: is sort of nonsense, and I feel that that is
- 13:18Speaker 12: very out of touch with where most Americans are at.
- 13:22Speaker 12: And I'm not just talking about white Americans. I think
- 13:25Speaker 12: Black Americans are sort of sick of this message as well,
- 13:28Speaker 12: which is why you saw a lot of movement towards
- 13:31Speaker 12: the GOP. Twenty five percent of black men voted for
- 13:34Speaker 12: Donald Trump, and his approval ratings right now with black
- 13:37Speaker 12: Americans are very very high. So I think she's quite
- 13:40Speaker 12: out of step with where the nation is, although the
- 13:44Speaker 12: Democratic Party again does not seem to have realized that now.
- 13:48Speaker 2: But Tia, you were on Bill Maher's program and your
- 13:51Speaker 2: clips went viral very quickly, millions and millions of views,
- 13:56Speaker 2: and I've got to say you managed to make Bill
- 13:59Speaker 2: look a little bit silly on his own program.
- 14:01Speaker 1: We're approaching two months in. I mean, you must have
- 14:05Speaker 1: a feeling in your gut, look, Linnie, and tell me
- 14:07Speaker 1: you don't that this is really going badly and I
- 14:10Speaker 1: shouldn't have thrown my lot in with this team.
- 14:13Speaker 5: Oh no, I feel the opposite, all.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Right, tell me.
- 14:18Speaker 5: Why I'm so sorry?
- 14:19Speaker 8: Bill?
- 14:20Speaker 1: No, No, tell me why.
- 14:21Speaker 12: No I feel so proud of I mean, I was
- 14:24Speaker 12: never a Republican or a conservative. I was a leftist
- 14:27Speaker 12: and I am still a leftist. I'm just a maga
- 14:29Speaker 12: leftist now, because.
- 14:30Speaker 1: That makes no sense.
- 14:33Speaker 2: But tell me how you are, why you're so happy
- 14:37Speaker 2: with half things are going, and explain to my audience
- 14:41Speaker 2: what is a megaleftist.
- 14:44Speaker 12: I'm happy because I feel like Donald Trump wakes up
- 14:47Speaker 12: every morning and thinks, how can I make America better?
- 14:51Speaker 12: How can I keep a campaign promise that I made.
- 14:53Speaker 12: How can I do exactly what I promised my supporters
- 14:56Speaker 12: I was going to do. We've never ever ever seen
- 15:00Speaker 12: efficiency like this. We've never ever ever seen a president
- 15:04Speaker 12: who truly wants to deliver exactly what he promised to
- 15:09Speaker 12: his supporters and to the country overall. Trump throughout the
- 15:14Speaker 12: campaign was saying, our success will be our retribution, and
- 15:18Speaker 12: that's that's what we're experiencing right now. This is everything
- 15:21Speaker 12: I hoped for and more, and I could not have
- 15:23Speaker 12: believed that he would be so successful. So, you know,
- 15:27Speaker 12: there was so much that I wanted to answer, Bill.
- 15:29Speaker 12: I knew that I only had a few minutes. A
- 15:32Speaker 12: MAGA lefty is somebody who has realized that the MAGA
- 15:36Speaker 12: tent is big and that this president wants to represent
- 15:39Speaker 12: all Americans at a more fundamental level. Donald Trump is
- 15:44Speaker 12: anti war, he's pro worker, he believes in a protectionist economy,
- 15:49Speaker 12: and he's a social moderate. This was the left's agenda
- 15:52Speaker 12: for one hundred years, and so I don't see why
- 15:55Speaker 12: I shouldn't get to still call myself a lefty just
- 15:58Speaker 12: because Donald Trump lifted the the best parts of the Democrats'
- 16:01Speaker 12: agenda out from under them. They abandoned labor and he
- 16:05Speaker 12: decided to represent labor. They embraced war, and he decided
- 16:08Speaker 12: to steal their anti war platform. They went totally cookie
- 16:12Speaker 12: crazy on the lefty stuff, and he said, well, you
- 16:14Speaker 12: know what looks like the moderate metal is just there
- 16:17Speaker 12: for the taking. I'm going to take it. That's where
- 16:19Speaker 12: I'm at and I feel very represented and very happy.
- 16:24Speaker 2: And if more people just looked at the policies and
- 16:27Speaker 2: the policy outcomes, the objectives of those policies, they would
- 16:33Speaker 2: also identify as you do. But so many are transfixed
- 16:38Speaker 2: by Trump and hating Trump that they don't actually look
- 16:41Speaker 2: at what the agenda is.
- 16:42Speaker 3: And you're right, he has taken a.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Lot of what were traditionally left as policies and that
- 16:48Speaker 2: is part of making America great again.
- 16:50Speaker 3: All about America first.
- 16:51Speaker 2: It's all about protecting American workers, starting up American manufacturing again,
- 16:56Speaker 2: reinvigorating that. And it's got to say had divorced from reality?
- 17:00Speaker 2: Are these lefties, even sensible ones like Bill Maher, who
- 17:04Speaker 2: think Trump voters are somehow upset by what they're seeing
- 17:08Speaker 2: and the polls are showing something entirely different to that,
- 17:11Speaker 2: And even the polls that are traditionally favoring the Democrats
- 17:16Speaker 2: are showing their approval rating under thirty percent Patia.
- 17:20Speaker 3: I mean, this is just.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Dire straights for the Democrats to have an approval rating
- 17:26Speaker 2: in the twenties, How are they going to come back
- 17:29Speaker 2: from that?
- 17:30Speaker 12: It's truly amazing if you think of this split screen.
- 17:33Speaker 12: On the one end, you have a president who is
- 17:37Speaker 12: representing the working class, elevating every hard working American. He's
- 17:42Speaker 12: getting us out of wars and bringing peace, and he's
- 17:45Speaker 12: bringing common sense, moderate social policy back to the table.
- 17:50Speaker 12: And what are the Democrats represent? Well, they represent keeping
- 17:54Speaker 12: trend agua here in America. They represent opposition to deporting
- 17:59Speaker 12: rapists or citizens. They represent opposition to deporting Hamas supporters
- 18:04Speaker 12: who are not citizens. They represent supporting trans men, trans
- 18:10Speaker 12: women in women's locker rooms and women's sports. And they
- 18:13Speaker 12: represent protecting the fraud and abuse of our government. So
- 18:18Speaker 12: you know, of course their brand is in the toilet.
- 18:21Speaker 12: Trump took everything that was good about them and instead
- 18:23Speaker 12: of saying, oh wow, a president who's actually going to
- 18:25Speaker 12: do leftist things, they decided to embrace everything that is
- 18:30Speaker 12: just insane and crazy. And they here's the thing, Rida,
- 18:34Speaker 12: They turned on their own values and their own voters,
- 18:39Speaker 12: rather than admit that Donald Trump had a point and
- 18:43Speaker 12: this is truly unforgivable.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Stuff, absolutely, and they're being punished for it. Now, let's
- 18:50Speaker 2: speak quickly about the Russian Ukraine. Well, earlier today, Presidents
- 18:53Speaker 2: Trump and Zelensky had an al long phone call, and
- 18:57Speaker 2: afterwards Zelensky said he thinks lasting pace is achievable this year,
- 19:03Speaker 2: and he was full of price full President Donald Trump.
- 19:06Speaker 2: What a difference a couple of wakes Mike's batilla.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Tell me about how that is being perceived in the US.
- 19:15Speaker 12: I think people feel relieved. You know, President Trump had
- 19:20Speaker 12: to speak harshly to Zelenski when he was in the
- 19:23Speaker 12: Oval office. Most Americans approved of what they saw there.
- 19:27Speaker 12: We want this war to end. We're finished, you know,
- 19:31Speaker 12: supporting foreign wars that have nothing to do with us.
- 19:35Speaker 12: We hate the bloodshed, and I think a lot of
- 19:38Speaker 12: us feel that we hate that our support was a
- 19:43Speaker 12: big function of prolonging this bloodshed. I think President Trump
- 19:48Speaker 12: feels that this is a proxy war in which the
- 19:52Speaker 12: two superpowers do not want to be at war anymore,
- 19:55Speaker 12: and he's desperate to bring this to a close. And
- 19:58Speaker 12: I think he's doing a really good job. He has
- 20:00Speaker 12: figured out how to play Putin and he's figured out
- 20:04Speaker 12: how to move Zelenski, and so I think that, hopefully,
- 20:08Speaker 12: please God, we will see movement very very soon.
- 20:11Speaker 5: I think he is very.
- 20:12Speaker 12: Good at manipulating both Putin and our European allies. I think,
- 20:18Speaker 12: you know, we've seen European allies coming into the Oval
- 20:21Speaker 12: Office and being very deferential, and as an American, you
- 20:24Speaker 12: just love to see it. So I'm really hopeful that
- 20:27Speaker 12: with God's help, we'll see it and ender this very soon.
- 20:32Speaker 2: And it's been very good in getting the Europeans to
- 20:35Speaker 2: spend more on their own defense and to start doing
- 20:38Speaker 2: some of the heavy lifting, which has been another objective.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Before you go, I want to play you just a
- 20:44Speaker 2: small part of a speech JD.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Evans Gabe.
- 20:47Speaker 2: He gave a masterclass on the failures of globalization and
- 20:52Speaker 2: how in the end it hurts advanced economies.
- 20:55Speaker 11: There were two conceits that our leadership class had when
- 20:58Speaker 11: it came to globalization. The first is assuming that we
- 21:03Speaker 11: can separate the making of things from the design of things.
- 21:06Speaker 11: The idea of globalization was that rich countries would move
- 21:09Speaker 11: further up the value chain, while the poor countries made
- 21:13Speaker 11: the simpler things. Whether we were offshoring factories to cheap
- 21:16Speaker 11: labor economies or importing cheap labor through our immigration system,
- 21:21Speaker 11: cheap labor became the drug of Western economies. And I'd
- 21:24Speaker 11: say that if you look in nearly every country from
- 21:27Speaker 11: Canada to the UK that imported large amounts of cheap labor,
- 21:31Speaker 11: you've seen productivity stagnate and.
- 21:33Speaker 2: The failures of globalization are so much behind the Trump phenomenon.
- 21:38Speaker 2: And that's again something people failed to understand that people
- 21:43Speaker 2: who worked in manufacturing jobs, used to make decent money,
- 21:46Speaker 2: used to be able to provide for their family, have
- 21:48Speaker 2: economic security, and we've seen that destroyed in so many
- 21:53Speaker 2: Western nations, and it's been deliberate.
- 21:55Speaker 12: Matia absolutely gd speeches in credible, very much worth watching
- 22:02Speaker 12: in full. He really makes a compelling argument there that
- 22:09Speaker 12: the cost that we paid for shipping all of these
- 22:13Speaker 12: good jobs overseas and then importing a surf cast in
- 22:18Speaker 12: here to do the jobs that remained, working class jobs
- 22:22Speaker 12: that remained, that the cost to that was not just
- 22:25Speaker 12: the dispossession of the American working class, it was also
- 22:29Speaker 12: a cost in terms of innovation and in terms of
- 22:33Speaker 12: productivity in terms of what Americans would have innovated if
- 22:38Speaker 12: they were still doing these jobs. And that is truly,
- 22:41Speaker 12: truly criminal, the disinheritance of America's working class while the
- 22:45Speaker 12: elites got rich off of cheap labor. It is the
- 22:50Speaker 12: root of the Trump phenomenon for working class people. Immigration
- 22:54Speaker 12: and the economy are two sides of the same coin,
- 22:57Speaker 12: and this is something that's very hard for elites to understand.
- 23:00Speaker 12: And GD lead it up beautifully.
- 23:04Speaker 3: He really is quite exceptional. I've got to say I.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Was a bit surprised when Donald Trump selected him. But
- 23:09Speaker 2: if he's not the forty eighth president of the United States,
- 23:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna shave my head live on this show. Batiel
- 23:16Speaker 2: Ga Sagon, thank you so much for your time tonight.
- 23:19Speaker 12: Thank you so much for you to God plus still
- 23:22Speaker 12: to come.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Left is Losing It plus the latest media meltdowns from
- 23:26Speaker 2: the US.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Sarah Gonzalez is up next.
- 23:38Speaker 2: You're watching the Rita Panney Show, and it's time for
- 23:40Speaker 2: lefties losing it. The fake news media is really hitting
- 23:44Speaker 2: new lows, so eager to restart their debunked Russian conspiracy
- 23:49Speaker 2: theories that they somehow managed to mix up this man
- 23:53Speaker 2: Mody the Indian Prime Minister with this dude, Vladimir Putin.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Easy mistake to make if you've lost all reasoning, any
- 24:02Speaker 2: semblance of objectivity when you are an activist journalist for AMSMBC.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Here are some of the corrections.
- 24:09Speaker 6: Last night, The.
- 24:10Speaker 13: Last Word reported on excerpts of an interview between the
- 24:12Speaker 13: Director of National Intelligence Telsa Gabbard and an Indian TV
- 24:16Speaker 13: news network in which she said Trump was good friends
- 24:19Speaker 13: with the world leader. Now, we said that world leader
- 24:21Speaker 13: was Vladimir Putin, but the full interview was subsequently released
- 24:25Speaker 13: and it showed that Gabbard was refused what was referring
- 24:28Speaker 13: to Donald Trump and the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Wait, wait, so Tulsa Gabbert mentions that Trump is good
- 24:35Speaker 2: friends with the world leader and they not only just
- 24:38Speaker 2: assumed she's talking about Vladimir Putin, but then they report
- 24:43Speaker 2: that as if it were fact on television' that's what happened.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Let's hear one more correction from MSNBC on that issue.
- 24:51Speaker 14: Last night, we reported on excerpts of an interview between
- 24:54Speaker 14: the Director of National Intelligence, Telsa Gabbard and an Indian
- 24:58Speaker 14: TV news network in which she's said that Trump was
- 25:01Speaker 14: good friends with a world leader. We said that world
- 25:04Speaker 14: leader was Vladimir Putin, but the full interview shows that
- 25:08Speaker 14: gabtt was referring to Trump an Indian prime minister.
- 25:11Speaker 8: Mody.
- 25:13Speaker 9: Clear that up.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Now let's check in with the worst vice presidential candidate
- 25:17Speaker 2: we have seen, the uniquely awful Tim Walls Tampon. Tim
- 25:21Speaker 2: remember him, he had all sorts of delusions of being
- 25:24Speaker 2: vice president now as delusions of being a presidential candidate.
- 25:28Speaker 3: And he thinks he's a tough guy.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Here, he responds to media pundits who mocked his lack
- 25:34Speaker 2: of masculinity.
- 25:37Speaker 6: Well, this nation most of their ass I do think
- 25:40Speaker 6: that we can run, but I don't know if we're
- 25:43Speaker 6: going to fall into that place where we want to.
- 25:45Speaker 13: Okay, we challenge you to a do you know a
- 25:48Speaker 13: wwe fight here type of thing.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Good luck with that, Tim, I think, Judge Janine, as
- 25:53Speaker 2: you covered here, Tampon explains that Republican men are scared
- 25:58Speaker 2: of his masculine right.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Scare them.
- 26:02Speaker 13: Think they scare them a little bit where they spend
- 26:03Speaker 13: so much time on it.
- 26:05Speaker 5: You know I'm serious because I can fix a truck.
- 26:07Speaker 3: They know I'm not but.
- 26:08Speaker 2: When he's not threatening to kick ass or brag about
- 26:11Speaker 2: his truck, he is cheering on the damage cause to
- 26:15Speaker 2: an American manufacturer that employs tens of thousands of Americans
- 26:20Speaker 2: on good wages, a company that chooses to manufacture cars
- 26:24Speaker 2: in the US. Tim Walls is happy that this company
- 26:27Speaker 2: is being attacked and its stock price is falling. This
- 26:31Speaker 2: is disqualifying, folks, even more disqualifying than putting tampons in
- 26:36Speaker 2: boys bathrooms.
- 26:37Speaker 13: That little stock app I added tesla tude to give
- 26:40Speaker 13: me a little boost during.
- 26:41Speaker 15: The day.
- 26:43Speaker 16: Two twenty five and dropping so.
- 26:49Speaker 3: To the view now and here will be.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Goldberg scares the already disturbingly dumb audience by suggesting that
- 26:56Speaker 2: Donald Trump will deport American citizens.
- 27:00Speaker 15: Your eyes open, y'all, because if they can just come
- 27:03Speaker 15: up and take somebody because they've made a decision that
- 27:07Speaker 15: you are supposed to be that person, any one of us, yeah,
- 27:11Speaker 15: could find ourselves being deported to some country.
- 27:14Speaker 2: I don't give don't give them any ideas. Girl, you
- 27:18Speaker 2: heard Anna Navirus say that and talking about Anna.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Look how miserable she is.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Here, as fellow CNN panelista states some facts and figures
- 27:28Speaker 2: about Trump's popularity.
- 27:30Speaker 12: NBC News Unmeet the Press, they reported their polling found the.
- 27:34Speaker 13: Highest level of enthusiasm and the country going in the
- 27:36Speaker 13: right direction since two thousand and four, twenty years.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Yes, stating facts and figures. It can be triggering for
- 27:43Speaker 3: the left.
- 27:44Speaker 2: What shere as another panelist on CNN claims that the
- 27:48Speaker 2: data is all wrong because people in the street said.
- 27:51Speaker 17: So, you do know what you're saying is incorrect. I
- 27:53Speaker 17: don't care about the polling be America. I don't care
- 27:57Speaker 17: what NBC is saying. I can talk to the people
- 27:58Speaker 17: on the streets. Are you on the street, So are
- 28:00Speaker 17: you talking to people?
- 28:01Speaker 15: Now?
- 28:01Speaker 2: To lefty John Stuart, here's some wise words of advice
- 28:06Speaker 2: for the Democrats, whose approval rating has plummeted to under
- 28:10Speaker 2: thirty percent.
- 28:11Speaker 5: You're a twenty seven percent.
- 28:14Speaker 6: You've got to get Trump to lose eight points of
- 28:17Speaker 6: popularity just for you to get to the point where
- 28:21Speaker 6: you're thirteen points below him. Your approval is only seven
- 28:27Speaker 6: points above where it turns red and goes into low
- 28:29Speaker 6: power mode.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Yep, things must be green. If even John Stuart is
- 28:36Speaker 2: mocking the Democrats.
- 28:37Speaker 5: Maybe you're not a numbers learner. Maybe a visual demonstration
- 28:41Speaker 5: for you here, let me meet you where you live.
- 28:46Speaker 5: All right, here we go. We deserve.
- 28:54Speaker 16: This is forty eight percent approval. This is them, This
- 28:58Speaker 16: is you, This is you twenty this is them. Oh,
- 29:07Speaker 16: I see they're much higher.
- 29:09Speaker 5: Yes, they're much higher.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Now plenty more lefties losing at content. With my next guest,
- 29:15Speaker 2: let's bring in host of Sarah Gonzales Unfiltered on Blaze TV,
- 29:19Speaker 2: and she's also the VP of Texas Family Projects. Sarah,
- 29:24Speaker 2: there are some strange happenings in the great state of Texas,
- 29:27Speaker 2: including at a church in Dallas. I want to play
- 29:31Speaker 2: these clips. I've played them before.
- 29:33Speaker 3: This one is of a.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Drag queen joking about sacrificing Trump voters when any of.
- 29:39Speaker 6: Your voted for Trump.
- 29:40Speaker 16: Please don't tell us. Yeah no, don't tell us, or
- 29:48Speaker 16: do you?
- 29:48Speaker 2: And that's the Cathedral of Hope in Dallas, a United
- 29:57Speaker 2: Church of Christ congregation. And Sarah, it's not just drag
- 30:01Speaker 2: queens giving sermons, drag kings up preaching, also.
- 30:05Speaker 18: Performing gender as a daily task, I would argue, is
- 30:08Speaker 18: a learned cultural trait to which we have all been exposed.
- 30:13Speaker 18: As understandings of drag have changed throughout history, Perhaps drag
- 30:16Speaker 18: today could be defined as that which threatens the already
- 30:20Speaker 18: fragile and arbitrarily constructed framework for gender performance that is
- 30:25Speaker 18: necessary to maintain power dynamics.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Sarah, what is going on in Texas right now? I'm
- 30:30Speaker 2: pretty happy to have been born in Arkansas.
- 30:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I bet you are, Rita. I appreciate you having
- 30:37Speaker 5: me on.
- 30:38Speaker 19: Yeah, what's going on in Texas is just absolutely reprehensible.
- 30:42Speaker 19: Through our work with Texas Family Project, we actually uncovered
- 30:45Speaker 19: this particular event over at Cathedral of Hope in Dallas, Texas,
- 30:49Speaker 19: where get this, they had that drag king that you
- 30:52Speaker 19: showed give this sermon, which really I don't remember recall
- 30:57Speaker 19: any scripture being uttered during the sermon. It was solely
- 31:00Speaker 19: about sexual and gender identity, which I'm like, I don't
- 31:04Speaker 19: remember seeing this in the Bible anywhere. But on top
- 31:06Speaker 19: of that, what you played was the after party, which
- 31:10Speaker 19: was held at a gay bar down the street where
- 31:13Speaker 19: they had a fundraiser for the church. So the church
- 31:17Speaker 19: was raising money off of these drag queens performing and
- 31:20Speaker 19: making sick jokes about wanting to kill Trump supporters.
- 31:24Speaker 5: Just very very you know, I would say.
- 31:25Speaker 19: Read it the opposite of what Christians are supposed to be,
- 31:29Speaker 19: and yet it is happening. This is the largest LGBTQ
- 31:32Speaker 19: church in the world, they say here in Dallas, Texas.
- 31:38Speaker 2: I wouldn't have thought that would be happening in Texas.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Let's go to church now in Atlanta and listen to
- 31:44Speaker 2: this preacher, Jamal Bryant. He's from an Atlanta mega church,
- 31:49Speaker 2: massive congregation, and is indulging in some shamelessly racist abuse.
- 31:56Speaker 3: I mean, this is just gross.
- 31:58Speaker 20: I feel bad for them. It's in the White House
- 32:02Speaker 20: who are in the tap dancing for Massa when boat
- 32:06Speaker 20: Tish shinning and grinned, laughing like nothing is fun. I
- 32:10Speaker 20: ain't afraid of the spoots that said at the door,
- 32:14Speaker 20: these runaway slaves hidden in the White House. Don't throw
- 32:18Speaker 20: my picture up thinking that.
- 32:20Speaker 5: I'm gonna be afraid.
- 32:23Speaker 2: He's mocking their Trump supporters who happened to be people
- 32:28Speaker 2: of color, happened to be black, and using the most
- 32:31Speaker 2: disgusting racial put downs imaginable.
- 32:35Speaker 3: How does he get away with this?
- 32:36Speaker 2: If any white preacher made a comment like that, I mean,
- 32:42Speaker 2: there would be front page news.
- 32:45Speaker 5: Yeah, you're right, Rita.
- 32:46Speaker 19: And I mean, on top of that, you know you
- 32:48Speaker 19: want to talk about he mentioned runaway slaves. Well, I
- 32:51Speaker 19: don't know what runaway slaves he's referring to. Perhaps he's
- 32:53Speaker 19: referring to the runaway slaves who are leaving the Democrat
- 32:57Speaker 19: plantation in droves, because that's what we're seeing with blacks,
- 33:02Speaker 19: with people of color, with you know, Hispanics. We are
- 33:05Speaker 19: seeing these people because they're so tired of this divisive rhetoric.
- 33:08Speaker 19: They're so tired of identity politics here in the state.
- 33:11Speaker 19: That is why back in November, I'm sure everyone recalls,
- 33:15Speaker 19: we had a mandate in this country. Overwhelmingly, we voted
- 33:19Speaker 19: record numbers of minorities voted for President Trump's agenda and vision,
- 33:24Speaker 19: and it didn't include this divisive rhetoric that we hear
- 33:26Speaker 19: from the Democrats.
- 33:27Speaker 5: So they're getting away with it for now.
- 33:29Speaker 19: You see this pastor, this preacher, who I believe has
- 33:32Speaker 19: sort of a questionable history in and of itself.
- 33:34Speaker 5: But they're getting away with it for now, Rita.
- 33:36Speaker 19: But they are getting away with it less and less
- 33:38Speaker 19: as time goes on.
- 33:39Speaker 5: People are tired of it. They're done.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Well, if you watch the Real Housewives of Potomac, you
- 33:46Speaker 2: will know all about Jama Bryant, his ex Giselle, and
- 33:50Speaker 2: you hear about all the affairs only love children. So yeah,
- 33:55Speaker 2: I don't know how he's a man of God.
- 33:56Speaker 3: But here we are.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Now let's talk about the view. Chuck Schumer was on
- 34:01Speaker 2: the View. And I don't know if these Democrats get
- 34:05Speaker 2: extra stupid when they appear on that show, but I
- 34:08Speaker 2: was shocked to hear and mock Americans who want to
- 34:11Speaker 2: see a cut in red tape, Americans who want to
- 34:14Speaker 2: say their taxes cut.
- 34:16Speaker 9: You know what their attitude is, I made my money
- 34:18Speaker 9: all by myself.
- 34:19Speaker 1: How dare your government take my money from me.
- 34:22Speaker 9: I don't want to pay taxes or I built my
- 34:24Speaker 9: company with my bare.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Hands, Sarah. That's not a winning message, is it. I mean,
- 34:29Speaker 3: how lost are the Democrats.
- 34:32Speaker 19: They're completely and utterly lost. And on top of that,
- 34:36Speaker 19: it's not just Chuck Schumer. You have numerous lawmakers in
- 34:41Speaker 19: the Democrat Party who are coming out and their message,
- 34:44Speaker 19: their strategy. They think they're doubling down on the dumb
- 34:47Speaker 19: rhetoric that lost them the election. They think that if
- 34:50Speaker 19: they just go out and complain to Americans that we
- 34:53Speaker 19: might pay less than taxes, that that's somehow going to
- 34:56Speaker 19: get Democrats back on board. But the reality of the
- 34:58Speaker 19: situation is the the majority of Americans are very excited
- 35:02Speaker 19: about what's happening with Doge. Who can look an American
- 35:05Speaker 19: taxpayer in the eye, knowing how much we are taxed
- 35:07Speaker 19: to death and knowing that our ancestors fought a war
- 35:10Speaker 19: for far less. Who can look at American taxpayer in
- 35:13Speaker 19: the eye and say, actually, we hate it that Doge
- 35:17Speaker 19: is rooting out waste, fraud, corruption. We want you guys
- 35:20Speaker 19: to pay more in taxes. And you'll notice there, Rita,
- 35:22Speaker 19: he also said your government. He didn't say our government.
- 35:25Speaker 19: This is our government. These people work for us, and
- 35:28Speaker 19: they seem to forget that over there in the Democrat Party,
- 35:31Speaker 19: even though they were just reminded in November with the
- 35:34Speaker 19: sheilaking that they got it's just really reprehensible what they're saying.
- 35:39Speaker 2: And yet despite that unhinged position, he's not left enough
- 35:44Speaker 2: for many Democrats. There's calls to have been removed because
- 35:48Speaker 2: he's not ideological enough, he's not left enough.
- 35:52Speaker 3: He is not combative enough.
- 35:54Speaker 2: I mean, is other Democrats in danger of becoming completely
- 35:59Speaker 2: radicalized by the squad types, by the Iosa's and Rushada
- 36:04Speaker 2: to Laive's types, who are just going to say the
- 36:08Speaker 2: party via even further left.
- 36:11Speaker 19: Yes, and we've seen the writing on the wall for
- 36:13Speaker 19: several years now. And I mean case in point, Look
- 36:16Speaker 19: who they just ran for President of the United States.
- 36:20Speaker 5: After Joe Biden dropped out.
- 36:21Speaker 19: They had an opportunity to run someone who not only
- 36:24Speaker 19: maybe had some sort of a moderate position on things,
- 36:28Speaker 19: but also could coherently speak, and they chose to do
- 36:31Speaker 19: neither of those things and run radical Kamala Harris. You
- 36:34Speaker 19: look at the way that they're plastering Jasmine Crockett on
- 36:37Speaker 19: television as often as they are, and I say to them,
- 36:40Speaker 19: please keep plastering Jasmine Crockett's face all over mainstream media
- 36:44Speaker 19: at any time of day or night. The best thing
- 36:47Speaker 19: that could ever happen to the Republican Party is for
- 36:49Speaker 19: them to continue parading these yahoos around spreading a terrible
- 36:53Speaker 19: message that will not resonate with most Americans, because now
- 36:56Speaker 19: they have to deal with the fact that they have
- 36:57Speaker 19: created these little radicals. They've created the squad, they created
- 37:01Speaker 19: the radicals that follow them. They've made all of these,
- 37:03Speaker 19: you know, the sub sector of Americans just completely radicalized
- 37:07Speaker 19: over the climate, completely radicalized over Donald Trump and more.
- 37:11Speaker 19: And they've made their bed and now they get to
- 37:13Speaker 19: lie in it, and we'll see how that works out
- 37:15Speaker 19: for them.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Well, I heard Don Lemon argue this week that AOC
- 37:21Speaker 2: was the next leader of the Democrats. He was advocating
- 37:24Speaker 2: for that position. So if that's where they are, good
- 37:27Speaker 2: luck to them, because it's going to be an electoral.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Blood bath come twenty twenty eight.
- 37:33Speaker 2: Now played footage just earlier of another apology correction on MSNBC.
- 37:39Speaker 2: They managed to mix up Mody with Putin. They're so
- 37:42Speaker 2: eager to spread propaganda about Trump and Russia that they
- 37:46Speaker 2: got the Indian Prime minister mixed up with Vladimir Putin.
- 37:49Speaker 2: How is the US media coping during second Donald Trump's
- 37:54Speaker 2: second term?
- 37:54Speaker 3: They didn't do too well in the first term.
- 37:57Speaker 2: They were just in hysteria mode for four solid years.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Are they a little bit more balanced now, a little
- 38:04Speaker 2: bit more restrained?
- 38:07Speaker 19: You know, it's funny because you sort of see two different,
- 38:10Speaker 19: two different ways of handling it happening here in the media.
- 38:13Speaker 19: You see the CNN route, which is the guys at
- 38:16Speaker 19: the top have decided, Okay, maybe we need to redirect,
- 38:19Speaker 19: maybe we need to course correct.
- 38:20Speaker 5: You also see that.
- 38:21Speaker 19: With the Washington Post you have Jeff Bezos, who is saying,
- 38:24Speaker 19: hold on, now, we need to hire some conservative writers.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Now.
- 38:28Speaker 19: The problem with that is that I think that these
- 38:30Speaker 19: people are too far gone. They've already lost the credibility.
- 38:33Speaker 19: People are not going to all of a sudden trust
- 38:35Speaker 19: the Washington Post or CNN again. But then you have
- 38:38Speaker 19: the msnbcs of the world who don't seem to be
- 38:40Speaker 19: course correcting at all. I mean, you have Rachel Maddow,
- 38:43Speaker 19: MSNBC host here, who was complaining about Joy Reid who
- 38:48Speaker 19: got her show canceled. And Rachel Maddow actually said to
- 38:52Speaker 19: the entire country that Joy Reid was fired because.
- 38:55Speaker 5: She was black. She was a black woman.
- 38:58Speaker 19: And so you have these two disconnects where there are
- 39:01Speaker 19: certain media companies who have chosen to take the path
- 39:04Speaker 19: of maybe trying to reconstruct their you know, like their
- 39:08Speaker 19: the vision of where their future lies. And then there
- 39:11Speaker 19: is the path of MSNBC. But the beautiful part about
- 39:14Speaker 19: all of this rita is that in all of these forms,
- 39:17Speaker 19: they are losing viewers by the second. They are having
- 39:21Speaker 19: to cut off staff, they are having to fire their hosts.
- 39:24Speaker 19: And you know what, I've got to say, it could
- 39:27Speaker 19: not happen to a more deserving group of people. These
- 39:30Speaker 19: are people who have lied to the American public for
- 39:33Speaker 19: decades on purpose, either biomission or straight to American spaces.
- 39:39Speaker 19: They lied about the Russia Russia Russia dossier. They lied
- 39:43Speaker 19: about so much of Donald Trump's first presidency. They covered
- 39:46Speaker 19: for Joe Biden during his presidency when he was half dead.
- 39:49Speaker 19: We had a weekended at Bernie's dead president, and they
- 39:52Speaker 19: covered for him. And now all of a sudden they
- 39:54Speaker 19: want to come out and write books, tell all books
- 39:56Speaker 19: about how Joe Biden wasn't competent when he was in
- 39:59Speaker 19: the White House. These people are a scourge on America.
- 40:02Speaker 19: And I am so glad that the chickens are finally
- 40:05Speaker 19: coming home to roost when it comes to American journalists.
- 40:09Speaker 19: And I use that very loosely in air quotes, because
- 40:11Speaker 19: I don't think they are anything of the sort.
- 40:15Speaker 3: You are one.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Hundred percent, Particularly when I saw Jake Tapper, of all people,
- 40:19Speaker 2: putting out a book about the cover up during Biden's presidency.
- 40:24Speaker 3: He was complicit in that cover up.
- 40:26Speaker 2: He would attack those who suggested that the president had
- 40:30Speaker 2: some form of cognitive decline. If there's just so many
- 40:34Speaker 2: instances of him behaving in that manner on camera and
- 40:38Speaker 2: then to try to memory hold that with this book
- 40:41Speaker 2: outrageous antics. But Sarah Gonzalez, we're used to that from
- 40:45Speaker 2: the left.
- 40:45Speaker 3: That's why we talk about it. Thank you so much
- 40:47Speaker 3: for your time tonight. Really appreciate it.
- 40:50Speaker 5: Thank you still to come.
- 40:52Speaker 2: The famous actor being pressured to run for politics. Kinsey
- 40:56Speaker 2: Schofield has the details. Welcome back joining me now, celebrity
- 41:08Speaker 2: and royal reporter Kinsey Schofield. Kinsey, let's start with the
- 41:13Speaker 2: latest developments in Prince Harry's US visa saga, and according
- 41:17Speaker 2: to Heritage Foundation lawyer Samuel Dewey, a series of newly
- 41:21Speaker 2: released documents relating to the case infer that Harry may
- 41:25Speaker 2: have in fact lied about his history of drug use
- 41:29Speaker 2: on his visa application, despite the documents being heavily redacted.
- 41:35Speaker 3: What else have you found out?
- 41:38Speaker 21: Well, based on the papers themselves, very little because they
- 41:41Speaker 21: were so heavily redacted. But dew We also said that
- 41:45Speaker 21: the Heritage Foundation believes, and I think you will get
- 41:47Speaker 21: a kick out of this, that Prince Harry is here
- 41:50Speaker 21: on an one visa typically submitted by a sponsor. In
- 41:53Speaker 21: this case, they believe it's probably one of his charitable foundations,
- 41:57Speaker 21: which would have argued for his attendance based on a
- 42:00Speaker 21: fundason ability or another exceptional talent. I'm going to leave
- 42:04Speaker 21: it to you to determine what his exceptional talent is
- 42:07Speaker 21: for why he should be in the United States. But
- 42:09Speaker 21: that's what the Heritage Foundation suspects. That's how they suspect
- 42:13Speaker 21: that he is in the United States today.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Exceptional I don't know, making very very boring documentaries. I
- 42:22Speaker 2: don't know if that is a special category that allows
- 42:24Speaker 2: you into the country. But talking about that, the other
- 42:28Speaker 2: Sussex is being defended. Netflix's co chief executive Ted Sarandorris
- 42:35Speaker 2: has stepped in to defend Megan, saying that the backlash
- 42:39Speaker 2: to her latest media venture is unfair, saying that the
- 42:44Speaker 2: public is underestimating her and the pair have been overly dismissed.
- 42:49Speaker 3: I mean, that's a weird.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Characterization, given that they've got these enormous contracts. They've been
- 42:56Speaker 2: given project after project, it's hardly dismissed.
- 43:01Speaker 21: Look, no one wants to be associated with failure, you know,
- 43:05Speaker 21: and you are who you associate with, So of course
- 43:07Speaker 21: he's going to talk Megan markle Up and Prince Harry
- 43:10Speaker 21: because it's it's embarrassing for the company, for Meghan and
- 43:14Speaker 21: Harry to fail, especially given those high profile contracts that
- 43:18Speaker 21: you mentioned. So I think this is just his way
- 43:21Speaker 21: of trying to save face. But at the end of
- 43:25Speaker 21: the day, he is a numbers person. That's how he
- 43:28Speaker 21: keeps his job, and you and I both talked about
- 43:31Speaker 21: how the numbers just don't cut it when it comes
- 43:33Speaker 21: to real viewership. For Megan's new program.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Now Kinsey an interview featuring Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria,
- 43:45Speaker 2: it's looked like a red carpet interview has gone viral,
- 43:48Speaker 2: and you can understand why.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Look just at how the wife talks to him, Hilaria
- 43:55Speaker 3: or whatever her real name is.
- 43:56Speaker 20: Great, you're a winner.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 43:58Speaker 5: When I'm talking, you're not talking.
- 44:00Speaker 17: No, when I'm talking, you're not talking.
- 44:02Speaker 5: This is why, Yes, we'll Ha's like, just cut.
- 44:04Speaker 14: Him out of the show.
- 44:05Speaker 20: Great, you're a winner.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 44:07Speaker 5: When I'm talking, you're not talking.
- 44:09Speaker 17: When I'm talking, you're not talking.
- 44:11Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 44:11Speaker 2: There's been so much commentary about that. I've got to
- 44:14Speaker 2: say I am not a fan of Alec Baldwin. I
- 44:16Speaker 2: think he has just been absolutely gross in so many
- 44:20Speaker 2: of his comments recently, particularly his comments on social and
- 44:24Speaker 2: political issues.
- 44:25Speaker 3: But even I felt sorry for him watching that.
- 44:29Speaker 21: I know, Hilary seemed so rude right there. I think
- 44:32Speaker 21: Hillary might be a Boston bully. Have you also noticed
- 44:36Speaker 21: that her Spanish accent completely disappeared there? And is it
- 44:39Speaker 21: like it's me you know joke that your accent comes
- 44:42Speaker 21: out the most when you're fiery, Like, I'm sorry, but
- 44:46Speaker 21: I heard a Boston accent right there.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Oh.
- 44:51Speaker 3: Yes, her whole story is hilarious.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Actually kind of identifies as Hispanic or Latino and sometimes
- 44:59Speaker 2: has an accent and sometimes forgets English words. I mean,
- 45:02Speaker 2: it's wow. Let's talk about mel Gibson.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Now.
- 45:06Speaker 2: He's come out on top amongst Republicans in fresh pollie
- 45:10Speaker 2: asking Californians who they'd like to see run for the
- 45:14Speaker 2: governor of the state. A source close to mel Gibson
- 45:17Speaker 2: has said that while he's flattered with the numbers, he
- 45:20Speaker 2: has absolutely zero interest in running and he could run,
- 45:24Speaker 2: couldn't hear Kinsey. We've had Arnold Schwartzeneger as governor of
- 45:29Speaker 2: the state, and I think mel Gibson would make a
- 45:31Speaker 2: very interesting candidate.
- 45:33Speaker 21: Yeah, and I don't think mel Gibson ever knocked up
- 45:36Speaker 21: the maid, which Arnold Swarzenegger did, So I think that
- 45:41Speaker 21: poor mel Gibson. We know that he loves Donald Trump
- 45:44Speaker 21: and they are dear friends, and I think that he
- 45:47Speaker 21: watched a friend of his nearly assassinated, and I just
- 45:51Speaker 21: don't think that he feels like entering that world. Not
- 45:54Speaker 21: only have people physically attacked Donald Trump, but you know,
- 45:58Speaker 21: he watched the government tried to take him down as
- 46:01Speaker 21: well under the Biden administration.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Absolutely, and it's interesting that some high profile people came
- 46:09Speaker 2: out in support of Donald Trump after that assassination attempt.
- 46:13Speaker 3: I think Sir Uster Stallone has.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Spoken about that that he was too shy or too
- 46:19Speaker 2: weak to say anything beforehand. Obviously it's the worst thing
- 46:24Speaker 2: you can say in Hollywood. And yet after Trump was
- 46:27Speaker 2: shot and he stood up and said fight, he felt
- 46:30Speaker 2: compelled to make his support public. Before you go, let's
- 46:34Speaker 2: talk about Howard Stern. He was a massive deal for
- 46:39Speaker 2: many years now. Former intern who worked for him in
- 46:43Speaker 2: the nineteen nineties, Stephen Gorilla, has told about what it
- 46:47Speaker 2: was really like working for this broadcaster and how he
- 46:52Speaker 2: was a very different person back then. We've certainly seen
- 46:55Speaker 2: his politics shift. He was guilty of some just disgusting
- 46:58Speaker 2: antics that would be completely unacceptable today. I would have
- 47:03Speaker 2: thought they were unacceptable back then, to be honest with you.
- 47:06Speaker 2: But now this woke covid terrified lefty.
- 47:12Speaker 21: He is, and his intern basically says, this guy kissed
- 47:16Speaker 21: up to Donald Trump like you would never believe Donald
- 47:19Speaker 21: Trump was his buddy. And Donald Trump was the one
- 47:22Speaker 21: making sacrifices there, because Howard was this vulgar, vile creature
- 47:27Speaker 21: that was constantly being financially getting in trouble financially with
- 47:32Speaker 21: our FCC and all of the rule makers here over
- 47:36Speaker 21: the vulgarity on the radio. And so it was Donald
- 47:39Speaker 21: Trump that was actually making the sacrifice and being Howard's friend.
- 47:42Speaker 21: So to see his intern saying, to see Howard cut
- 47:45Speaker 21: Donald off today to entertain all of these A listers,
- 47:49Speaker 21: and you know as well as I do, the show's
- 47:51Speaker 21: not doing as well. It's boring, and it's because he's
- 47:54Speaker 21: pandering to these elitists.
- 47:58Speaker 2: It is boring, and he's jumped the shark long ago.
- 48:02Speaker 3: So yeah, he picked the wrong side.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Kinsisco Field, thanks for your time tonight, and that's it
- 48:07Speaker 2: from me, up next is Newsnight, I'll see You Tomorrow
- 48:10Speaker 2: night at nine pm four Left is losing it.
