- 0:00Speaker 1: It's always just such an honor to come before you and to share value Through my heart.
- 0:06Speaker 1: I love to help people talk about their voice, share their voice, market their voice, to help those who feel voiceless from trauma really be able to find their voice and then speak to the person they once were.
- 0:20Speaker 1: That's my heart.
- 0:21Speaker 1: We got fire on the line, so let me introduce you my really dear friend, destina.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Hey Destina, hey man, good to see you.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Hello, I'm Destina.
- 0:31Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 0:32Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I miss you so much.
- 0:34Speaker 2: I miss you so much.
- 0:35Speaker 1: No, we had.
- 0:36Speaker 1: This is Destina and I were part of a speaker academy just to give you a summary and we had went through a nine week course and there was just something special when you get a bunch of girls that are very nervous giving their Kim 10 talks, like a TED talk, sitting on stage and just supporting each other.
- 0:56Speaker 1: And Destina was picked one of the four.
- 1:00Speaker 1: They got to speak on the big stage.
- 1:01Speaker 1: So we may talk a lot of speaking, but let me tell you, destina is fire.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So I got the fire extinguisher but hang on.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah, hey.
- 1:12Speaker 1: So Destina, let's just give the folks a little background.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I know you had a journey I do distinctively remember during the speaker academy, when Michelle called me forward and y'all were praying for me, which is just.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I remember you were right there and you go.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I've been in church for many years.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I've never seen this.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I love that.
- 1:31Speaker 1: So yeah, I guess in a way it might be even a little church hurt journey, but anyway, introduce yourself and let's get to it.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Let's have some fun talking about our voices.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Yes, yes, thank you so much for having me.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I have been looking forward to this since I got back from California.
- 1:46Speaker 2: As we all know, life is super busy and I was like, ooh, we need to book our podcast, so I'm so excited to be here today.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I am fired up, so I'm glad you have your fire hose.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I love talking about Jesus, about business, about speaking and about friendship, community, all those things.
- 2:03Speaker 2: So I'm so excited to be here and I'm really grateful that you have this platform for your kingdom mentor podcast, because it's such a needed thing in today's world.
- 2:14Speaker 2: So I am a mom of a 17 year old teenager.
- 2:17Speaker 2: She is wonderful navigating through life.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm partnering with her and helping her on this journey to figure out who she is.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I am also a, like you were saying, born and raised in the church.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Pretty much we can dive into that in a little bit, maybe about that journey.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I have been born and raised in Connecticut.
- 2:37Speaker 2: It's all that I've ever known.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I hope to maybe travel and maybe move somewhere else one day, but I love Connecticut.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I love all the four seasons.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Right now, we're in our frost season, if you will, and I have my fuzzy coat on, and I am an organizer by trade.
- 2:56Speaker 2: So I've had a cleaning business and organizing business in the past and I love bringing that clarity to people's chaos and really helping them to just get in alignment with organization, not only in their tangible items but in their lives, in their minds, in their hearts.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And I'm also a teacher, so I teach what's called music together and I do that a few days a week where parents get to come into my classroom and we get to model the music for the child.
- 3:24Speaker 2: So it's really intentional and really impactful and it's something that I really love being a part of.
- 3:31Speaker 2: And then, of course, as you mentioned, teresa, I am now a certified speaker and my plans are to definitely use my voice for Kingdom Impact and I'm also partnered with a global organization called Girl Power Alliance and really have found my purpose and my Kingdom Impact through this company.
- 3:51Speaker 2: It's such a great space where we get to collaborate there's no competition here in the kingdom and get to build Kingdom Wealth and dream big with God and really impact women's lives on a daily basis and help them to really steward their gifts and their purpose and run after God wholeheartedly.
- 4:10Speaker 2: So I am so excited for everything that I am a part of and really just creating the impact.
- 4:16Speaker 1: That's great.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I love how you described Girl Power Alliance with distinction.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I appreciate that because I sometimes stumble around and just a quick commercial, go to GPA mastermind Teresa Croft Ford's last GPA mastermind and you'll get to know maybe a little details of it, but I do want to talk about that.
- 4:33Speaker 1: So I know that I've heard your Kim 10 talk and you've had some.
- 4:38Speaker 1: You've had a journey.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I think there are a lot of people, myself included, that have been church hurt.
- 4:46Speaker 1: So tell me, how did you crawl out of the jungle of really being hurt?
- 4:52Speaker 1: And we're not against the church, we love the body of Christ, we love gathering together.
- 4:57Speaker 1: But they're imperfect people that lead churches and you have to be able to navigate that in a way where you don't build up.
- 5:06Speaker 1: What is it?
- 5:07Speaker 1: Judgment and resentment?
- 5:08Speaker 1: What's that word that John Bavir wrote?
- 5:10Speaker 1: A book Offense, no offense.
- 5:12Speaker 1: So just give us a little mini version of your time.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Yeah, so I was, as I said, raised in the church and it wasn't anybody forcing me.
- 5:21Speaker 2: My grandma was raised Roman Catholic.
- 5:22Speaker 2: My mom was raised in this non-denominational Christian church.
- 5:26Speaker 2: My mom was actually a raging alcoholic but she always had Jesus on her lips and so I was submerged into this church.
- 5:34Speaker 2: That was the non-denominational and my grandma still taught CCD, so it was really an interesting upbringing.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I loved being a part of the church my mom raised me in because I felt there was this Holy Spirit.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I felt there was a stirring.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Even as a young girl I felt like I really wanted to be here.
- 5:53Speaker 2: They really embraced me and included me.
- 5:55Speaker 2: So I was raised in that church by my own, really choosing and wanted to be picked up for every Bible school youth group you name.
- 6:04Speaker 2: And I was picking up that phone saying can you guys come get me?
- 6:06Speaker 2: Can you guys come get me?
- 6:07Speaker 2: I was just hungry to be around God's people because it felt different than my upbringing.
- 6:13Speaker 2: It felt different to be in peace than chaos.
- 6:16Speaker 2: It was a little bit of a disturbance in my own home and in my family and I wanted something different and I felt it in this church with these people, and so fast forward all those years.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I got plugged into the music ministry.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Oh, I forgot to mention I'm a musician, that's a big part of my time.
- 6:34Speaker 2: I got involved in the music ministry at the age of 11, I then went on to get involved in really every ministry in the church.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I was involved in the youth group.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I was involved in the preschool.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I was even in the evangelistic program where I would lead prayer meetings and I would do sermons.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I did literally every ministry Monday to Sunday you name it.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I was in it and I loved it and then back in 2019, god called me to leave the church and there were some things to your point, like you said, about kind of man getting in, and there were some things that happened in the church a couple years prior to 2019 where different leadership stepped in and things started to change.
- 7:16Speaker 2: And I was the only one in my 30s at the time that was based in the Connecticut church, because we had churches all over the world and everybody in my age group had moved on and I was the only one that was in the Connecticut church and I felt I wanted to get in places of leadership.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I wanted to be able to lead a Sunday service or really step up in the music ministry and really use those gifts that God had given me, and there was only so much that I could be a part of and so much that I could do in leadership, and there was just a lot of division that started to happen in the church and, like I said, god called me to leave the church in 2019.
- 7:59Speaker 2: And then COVID hit and then my uncle died and there was just a series of events that really threw me for a loop.
- 8:06Speaker 2: And I had been birthed in the church, walked and talked and sang with Jesus, and this was the first time in my life where I was really confused.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I did not understand all the torrential raining that was going on in my life and, to sum it up, the church didn't really receive my leaving well, although I wrote them a letter.
- 8:28Speaker 2: It was a very thoughtful year and a half journey of really seeing if it was God or the enemy.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I wanted to test that all out and I decided that God was really calling me to leave.
- 8:38Speaker 2: And when I left, the church didn't really receive it.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Well, I was very hurt.
- 8:41Speaker 2: This was my family, this was my whole life, 30 years in the church, and it was all that I ever knew.
- 8:48Speaker 2: So the short and sweet of it is I went through a major identity crisis.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I did not know who I was.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I woke up the next day without the ministries, without the church, without the people, without all the things, and was like who am I?
- 9:03Speaker 2: What am I doing here, without the identity of the ministries?
- 9:07Speaker 2: And I was really hurt, and so I was in that space for a while.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And it's so easy to get what you're doing as your identity instead of it just coming from your identity.
- 9:22Speaker 1: So what you just described there may be someone listening to this.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Wait a minute, I do get it.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I feel like that's my identity, but identity isn't what you do.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Identity is who you are.
- 9:35Speaker 1: So here you came, face to face with yourself Without any, and so what was that like?
- 9:41Speaker 1: I know you lost your uncle, which was just like the pinnacle of pain.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yes.
- 9:48Speaker 2: So when I left the church, I was at peace with my decision.
- 9:52Speaker 2: But then, when the church hurt came and the people didn't receive it well and I felt like all the relationships I had built all over those 30 plus years were broken down.
- 10:05Speaker 2: And I went through this season where I was actually angry and I actually hated God.
- 10:12Speaker 2: It was the first time in my life where I actually said God, I hate you, god, I want nothing to do with you.
- 10:19Speaker 2: God, how could you let all this happen?
- 10:22Speaker 2: How could you, how could you?
- 10:24Speaker 2: I served you, I served in all the ministries, I did all these things for you and I felt like I lost everything and I felt like God was a part of that, and so I hated God for a season.
- 10:36Speaker 2: And when I was in 2019, into 20, my uncle died in 20, october 2020.
- 10:45Speaker 2: And I remember being so angry at God at that point.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Like you said, it was a pinnacle moment for my heart.
- 10:52Speaker 2: It really just put that little cap on everything and I was like done and there was an inheritance attached to my uncle.
- 11:02Speaker 2: We were very close, so he left me an inheritance of his home.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I was then told that I wasn't inheriting anything, and that was even the further thing.
- 11:13Speaker 2: So I lost everything, like my faith, my church, my friends.
- 11:17Speaker 2: We were all isolated.
- 11:18Speaker 2: And now I lost my best friend and now I was being told that I didn't have even the last thing attached to my uncle.
- 11:24Speaker 2: So you talk about losing everything.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I was done.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I was done.
- 11:31Speaker 2: The day after Christmas I had this impulse to drive to Florida.
- 11:35Speaker 2: There was a will that I was looking for and there was a series of events that had happened.
- 11:40Speaker 2: When I went down to Florida that week and I was tantruming, I was fist to the floor.
- 11:47Speaker 2: God, how could you?
- 11:48Speaker 2: I was angry and I was all alone.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I was in the darkest days of my life and despair.
- 11:53Speaker 2: And the beautiful thing is, although I didn't realize in the moment, that God was there every single second of that week and every step of the way he was.
- 12:04Speaker 2: And those of you that have been in church you know that a lot of times we pursue God right.
- 12:09Speaker 2: We say, yes, god, come into our heart.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Yes, god, we want to serve you.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yes, god, I'll do all the things you asked me to do and we're in agreement to pursue the heart of God right.
- 12:19Speaker 2: We're running after him.
- 12:20Speaker 2: This was the first time where I actually did not want anything to do with him.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I was in fact pushing him away, saying I am done, and this was the first time that God ran after me.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Yeah, he ran after me, he pursued my heart and he said God is here.
- 12:42Speaker 2: God is here, I am the Lord of your life and you are marked for my daughter.
- 12:47Speaker 2: You are mine and I did not put you in this season for not a certain reason, like there's a reason why you're here.
- 12:56Speaker 2: And so throughout that week, I started seeing all kinds of things happening, even in my anger, even in my frustration, even in, even in think about that phrase, even in the darkness, even in the tantrum, even in the loneliness.
- 13:13Speaker 2: All the things right Fill in your own.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Even in if you're listening to this or watching this, even in not being able to pay the bill, even in the marriage falling apart, even in the struggle of not knowing who you are right, whatever, even in that space, hallelujah, god is there.
- 13:31Speaker 2: God is there in that season, in that space, and you know what he does.
- 13:35Speaker 2: He doesn't say Teresa, I don't want to hear it, destina, I don't want to hear it.
- 13:39Speaker 2: You know what he does.
- 13:39Speaker 2: He says I welcome it.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Yes, I'm actually going to get down on that floor with you in the tears, because it says in the word, it says in the word and the story of Lazarus that, as Mary and Martha were like wondering where God was, if you had been there my brother wouldn't have died.
- 13:56Speaker 2: It says in the word that Jesus actually wept.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Yes, it says that he actually wept for them.
- 14:04Speaker 2: And if that is not testimony to who God is in his heart for his children, his heart from that season of darkness, he got on the floor in Florida, in that home, and he wept with me and he embraced all the emotion and so it was powerful for me because it was the first time that I really felt like I was being heard and being seen and that I could be in that space of I hate you.
- 14:31Speaker 2: It took me a while.
- 14:32Speaker 2: It took me a while, but I was in that You're in the round too.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I know you had to turn around especially, but wasn't there a turn around with that will?
- 14:41Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:42Speaker 2: So I went through that week, did all the things I described you just now, and then there was a series of events that happened.
- 14:49Speaker 2: People were showing up on the scene that I'd never met before.
- 14:53Speaker 2: They were donating their time to different things, and there was a lawyer in the middle that really wasn't the kindest man and he quite frankly, downright, told me that I was not to inherit anything and told me that my uncle in fact didn't want me to inherit anything.
- 15:09Speaker 2: So there were a lot of people spewing their opinions and things of even the relationship that I had with my uncle, so I was even questioning his love for me.
- 15:18Speaker 2: But at the end of the week I was getting ready to wrap up, I was super petty.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I passed all the toilet paper and the dish soap and the paper towels and toilet paper all the things that I did not want anybody else to inherit, because I thought it's mine and if I'm not getting it, nobody else is.
- 15:36Speaker 2: So I was super petty, packed my car to the rim with everything you could possibly imagine and was about to leave, never to return to that house again.
- 15:45Speaker 2: This was the house that I had keys to, that I had codes to.
- 15:49Speaker 2: This was my second home, that I would travel and visit my uncle and really have a home away from home.
- 15:57Speaker 2: And I had my car packed on a Sunday afternoon, was getting ready to leave Monday morning around four o'clock in the morning, and so I was coordinating key drop off with the lawyer who was not really fond of me and I wasn't really fond of him and had everything ready to go and all of a sudden, when I called him about 20 minutes later, there was this random truck that appears in the driveway out of nowhere.
- 16:25Speaker 2: And I had said my goodbyes to the neighbors, wrapped up everything with everybody else and I was not expecting anybody.
- 16:30Speaker 2: All of a sudden, this man who appeared on the scene didn't know he was going to arrive.
- 16:37Speaker 2: It was the lawyer himself and he appeared on the scene and it was really weird because I was like thinking he was responding to my phone call.
- 16:46Speaker 2: But he never got my phone call.
- 16:48Speaker 2: He just said oh no, I happen to be in the area, I just happen to be here.
- 16:51Speaker 2: And I knew in that moment.
- 16:52Speaker 2: I knew in my heart and my spirit that there was something weird about this and also that God was going to do something.
- 16:58Speaker 2: It was the first second of all those years, a couple of years, and even that week, that I actually had a glimpse of hope.
- 17:06Speaker 2: It was like my little light of hope was ignited in some way, shape or form, and I believed again for a second that there was God on the scene, really on the scene.
- 17:17Speaker 2: And so, the short of it is, I had the will.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I ended up finding it that week in the house, although it was deemed garbage.
- 17:24Speaker 2: It was deemed garbage by that lawyer, but I found the will.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I had it in my car.
- 17:29Speaker 2: I had no intention of mentioning it to him because he deemed it garbage, but the Lord put it on my heart in that moment to mention something about the will and he said oh okay, do you have it?
- 17:40Speaker 2: Let me see it.
- 17:41Speaker 2: And remember I had my car filled to the rim so I was praying that he wouldn't come and chase me because I had all that stuff in the car.
- 17:48Speaker 2: But anyway, brought him the will and within one second he looked at the will and he said Dostina, you did not tell me that there were witnesses on this.
- 17:57Speaker 2: This is a valid will.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I have to take this before I talk about 360.
- 18:02Speaker 2: I said what?
- 18:03Speaker 2: And I started calling my eyes out, and it was the first, second in weeks that I had even felt remotely hopeful for anything and that maybe there was some restoration, not only in this case, in this journey, but in my faith.
- 18:18Speaker 2: It was the first time where I felt like maybe God was still there and maybe there was still hoping.
- 18:24Speaker 2: So anyway, go on.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Fast forward to current.
- 18:29Speaker 1: We went on.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I got to apologize Very powerful in there If you are listening, but what Dostina is sharing with you is a breakthrough.
- 18:40Speaker 1: There's a Hebrew word that means test testimony.
- 18:44Speaker 1: That means do it again, god.
- 18:46Speaker 1: So you may can very relate to what this was.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Just Dostina just broke down.
- 18:52Speaker 1: It looked hopeless, but she had the will, but she had the turnaround.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But I love the verse in I think it's in Romans too his kindness leads us to repentance.
- 19:05Speaker 1: So Dostina is getting the very presence, the very kindness of God.
- 19:11Speaker 1: So that had to be the beginning of you like crawling out of the pit.
- 19:16Speaker 1: No pit is so deep.
- 19:17Speaker 1: They got to love us, not deeper still.
- 19:18Speaker 1: So there was a journey then of whoa, wait a minute.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Like you just were on a roll preaching he is with you.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Someone needs to know that they can get to that place, and there could be a turnaround that could totally alter the rest of the story.
- 19:35Speaker 1: So did that begin?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Was that like the beginning of thawing your heart from the freezing cold of God?
- 19:43Speaker 1: Doesn't care.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Was there a process there of just letting God have it?
- 19:48Speaker 2: Yes, I love that.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I love that you said the freezing cold of that reality of God not caring.
- 19:53Speaker 2: While that was powerful, yes, so what actually ended up happening was that court case that I ended up having to lawyer up, and I had to actually go into battle, like David and Goliath, where I had to, for two and a half years, go into a battle for this will because there were two valid wills.
- 20:17Speaker 2: So it wasn't even that I was inheriting everything.
- 20:19Speaker 2: It now was a matter of there are two wills here.
- 20:21Speaker 2: And so I went on this long journey and what I like to say now, looking back, of course, see, we don't realize it in the minute.
- 20:27Speaker 2: We don't realize it in the moment, we don't realize it in the season, right, because we see things a different way, but when we, as we know, after come out of something and we look back, we see things the way that they were it from a different lens, right.
- 20:43Speaker 2: And so I went through this two and a half battle for this court case, and it wasn't just the battle of my will, you know.
- 20:51Speaker 2: What it was more importantly was a battle of my faith.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I was in a battle for my own faith and what I had to quickly realize was that God was still alive, god was still present, that even though I left my church and even if all these things happened where I lost so much and lost my identity, what I started to actually see was that God removed me from the church.
- 21:18Speaker 2: God removed me from that thing that was actually becoming dead in the church because the church itself was dying, but I still wasn't in a place where I was ready to die Like I was on fire for God right.
- 21:32Speaker 2: So what actually ended up happening was the very place that God took me out of in the church, where I thought it was my death of identity was actually the rebirth of Destina in a different way, in a different fashion, in a different environment, and God was using me leaving my church.
- 21:50Speaker 2: God was using COVID, when we were all isolated, to separate me in this bubble.
- 21:55Speaker 2: God was using the loss of my uncle and that grief and pain so that I could learn some things about grief, because I had never really lost fully in that capacity, the way that I lost my uncle and, furthermore, that inheritance piece.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I had never been promised anything in my life.
- 22:15Speaker 2: And so God was using all these things to really partner with me and I had to have a partnering.
- 22:21Speaker 2: See, here's the difference, guys.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Before this all happened, I partnered with the church, I had partnered with the people, I had partnered with the ministry, I had partnered with all these things, but I didn't really know God as partner.
- 22:35Speaker 2: So see, when I left the church and I was stripped of everything, I was lost because I didn't have the anchor of my partnering with God.
- 22:45Speaker 2: And so what God did, was he actually on that floor in Florida and throughout that court case, that two and a half years, he partnered with me and I partnered with him, and it was not easy.
- 22:58Speaker 2: It was ugly, it was ugly, it was emotional, it was trying, it was up, it was down, it was up, it was down, it was up, it was down.
- 23:07Speaker 2: But the beautiful thing is and this is what I want you to hear God was constant.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Hey, he was never changing, he never altered his position.
- 23:17Speaker 2: He was there, he was powerful, he was all knowing, he was all encompassing, he was all embracing and he had the plan the entire time.
- 23:29Speaker 2: And everything that I didn't know back in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, all those things that I didn't know would actually be the catalyst for the very revelation that I know now, in 2023.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Hallelujah, he used it all for his glory and it says in the word that Romans 8, 28,.
- 23:57Speaker 2: All things work together for those who love the Lord.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Everything, the good, the bad, the ugly, the unseen, the in between all of it, all of it.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Your story reminds me and I pulled it up.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I've been reading this book and what you just said describes well this guy's name is Erwin Raphael or something.
- 24:16Speaker 1: It's called the Arrow.
- 24:18Speaker 1: But listen to this your past will be your future until you have the courage to create a new one.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Take every memory that continues to wound you, Take all of the pain, all of the regret, Take all of the bitterness and disappointment, Take all the moments of betrayal and every failure out of your heart and put them on the fire.
- 24:40Speaker 1: That's what I, just as you were talking, I'm like.
- 24:43Speaker 1: The journey into our best future always passes through the furnace.
- 24:47Speaker 1: The fire both forges us to who we must become and frees us to live the life for which we were created.
- 24:55Speaker 1: The guy's name is Erwin McManus.
- 24:57Speaker 1: It's called the Arrow.
- 25:00Speaker 1: You just summed that up so beautifully, Cause I see this Dostina, the one that I'm witnessing now and there's so much fire because you allowed God to forge.
- 25:15Speaker 1: You allowed God, and now you can hold your head high and say this is my story, this is my song, cause you're a singer, but I'm gonna go on because there's something alive in my heart.
- 25:26Speaker 1: I'm sad that we don't find that in the church, but sometimes then we can go back to the church and it's not what the church can do for us, it's who we can be in the midst of the church, bringing our identity.
- 25:37Speaker 1: So that is freaking and you probably if I could say you probably gave us a little bit of your Kim 10 talk and certified Kim 10 speakers.
- 25:47Speaker 1: So, girl, then I can see more stages as you were preaching it.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Thank you for bringing it.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Yeah, Wow, when did you hit girl power lines?
- 25:56Speaker 1: When did you come across another way to add another stream of income?
- 26:00Speaker 1: Just curious, yeah.
- 26:02Speaker 2: But very short, like 30 seconds.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I actually connected with a girl named Natalie Lawson a few years back and you know what?
- 26:09Speaker 2: Oh I just this just revelation came to me as I'm saying this out of my mouth.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I met Natalie actually in that very dark season believe it or not, wow and I was not an avid reader at the time.
- 26:21Speaker 2: But I saw this like Christian book club thing and I thought, okay, cool, like I'm not at the church, I don't work during COVID and everything.
- 26:29Speaker 2: And I really was in that dark season where I was trying to figure out my faith and I met her ironically enough, never read the book because I was not an avid reader and we ended up staying connected over the next few years and I remember watching her just a little side note I remember watching her with her alignment, with her faith, surrendering to God, being radically obedient and watching all of these beautiful things in her life really come to fruition.
- 26:55Speaker 2: And I remember envying her because I remember who I used to be in God and I wasn't in that season.
- 27:01Speaker 2: But, all that to say, we ended up staying connected through the year.
- 27:03Speaker 2: She would reach out ever so often and we did join together in a previous business opportunity.
- 27:12Speaker 2: That, again, I wasn't really in alignment with God at that time, so I didn't really seek God out for that first opportunity.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I fell in love with the product, though, and still use my King and water today.
- 27:27Speaker 2: But then she was a part of Girl Power Alliance, and I was intrigued because, of course, by then, I had really started to work out my faith again, really cling to the Lord and come to a space where I was really partnering with him a lot and everything, and I was intrigued by this, and so, in 2022, I had been really watching her and I, at the time, was really not feeling like I wanted to join, but then Radiant Speaker Academy came out, and that was actually the catalyst and the nudge.
- 28:02Speaker 2: So it was that very thing.
- 28:04Speaker 2: That's been what I stood up seeing, and I started journaling with God really intensely for the next few weeks, and then I heard God say okay, you need to do this.
- 28:12Speaker 2: So I reached out to Natalie, I joined, and I not only took the Radiant Speaker Academy twice once, teresa, you said nine weeks but I actually took it twice.
- 28:22Speaker 2: I took 18 weeks of it.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Did you get the second half that?
- 28:26Speaker 1: When they did it again, you went on again.
- 28:28Speaker 1: That's awesome, yes.
- 28:30Speaker 2: I did.
- 28:30Speaker 2: I had 18 weeks worth and I edited it in March.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I joined in March and initially I didn't join for the business, I just joined for the Radiant Speaker Academy.
- 28:41Speaker 2: But then, after being in a month of this, I was like, oh my gosh, women need to know about this.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I want to make this into a business, because this is needed in this industry and in women's lives.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to touch on something you said, a key word alignment.
- 28:59Speaker 1: God is so patient because alignment has a lot to do with our identity, but that is crucial.
- 29:06Speaker 1: There's always hope to get back in alignment.
- 29:09Speaker 1: How do you get back in alignment?
- 29:10Speaker 1: Just go back to God and fellowship with Him.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Spend some time with Him, because when you get your voice aligned with heaven, there comes upon you something you have no control it's the Holy Spirit and he can anoint your words.
- 29:24Speaker 1: This is as simple as being a mom, aligning your voice where you can have a voice in your home, being a business person, being an employee, or all of a sudden stirring up a desire where you're like.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I meet a lot of people like this yeah, I know I'm called to speak, I'm just afraid.
- 29:39Speaker 1: But when you get that alignment, so it's not like it's Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- 29:45Speaker 1: The alignment brings the glory.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Then it shores up your identity and so out of your stuff, your identity is lined up, and especially you, justina.
- 29:55Speaker 1: So now you get to serve the person you once were.
- 29:58Speaker 1: I really believe God's raising up women I'm gonna say women who are serving the person they once were.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Like I went through hell in a marriage then lost my husband.
- 30:09Speaker 1: That was hell in itself.
- 30:10Speaker 1: With a fire, 30 degree burns three months later, stage four cancer.
- 30:16Speaker 1: It was a terrible end to a not so great controlling marriage.
- 30:21Speaker 1: But my heart is okay.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I know Justina's this.
- 30:24Speaker 1: We're speaking from our scars, not our wounds, so we gotta have time to heal those wounds.
- 30:31Speaker 1: That's like a period of really going through some mental health.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I went through a neuropsychal facilitator for 10 weeks, week after week, with the amazing Alana van de Venter and really got down and trauma stored in your body.
- 30:47Speaker 1: So if you're up there on stage and you got trauma what a lot of times happen you'll spill out and you won't connect.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Yes, no, you still can.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong.
- 30:55Speaker 1: God's still amazing.
- 30:57Speaker 1: But to really be the speaker, the woman of God, the leader, the God is God in you.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Someone's listening to Sayna.
- 31:06Speaker 1: You don't know what I'm going through.
- 31:07Speaker 1: You don't know.
- 31:07Speaker 1: No, I don't.
- 31:08Speaker 1: But I believe in the one who can reach down and pull you out of that pit.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Amen, amen.
- 31:14Speaker 1: I love Psalm 103, it says it talks about bless the Lord, all my soul and all that's within me.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Bless his holy name.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Bless the Lord who redeems my life from the pit, who crowns me with loving kindness and tenderness, who heals all my diseases.
- 31:28Speaker 1: That is the love of Jesus, and you probably can hear it and what Justina is saying, because it is very anointed.
- 31:36Speaker 1: You are meant to hear this, whether it's live on a video or live or on our podcast, so that is awesome.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I had to touch on that.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Yeah, one thing I'll say too about the alignment piece is it wasn't until I actually went through the Radiant Leadership Academy that's the second academy here at Girl Power Alliance and I remember being in a season where I was taking the Radiant Speaker Academy, doing my organizing teaching.
- 32:06Speaker 2: I was giggling like anywhere from seven to 12 times a month and I have my daughter right.
- 32:13Speaker 2: So I'm busy, I'm full time busy, but I felt this nudge to take the class.
- 32:18Speaker 2: But I was like Natalie, how can I do one more thing?
- 32:21Speaker 2: How can I take one more thing?
- 32:22Speaker 2: I feel like I need to do this, but I just just take it.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Even if you don't fully commit, you're gonna learn something and I will never forget it.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Because we get to this section in a pillar called investment and where most people even listen to this may feel like I'm saying investment financially.
- 32:39Speaker 2: It was actually investment time-wise and I remember God really working with me in this pillar because I didn't attend that.
- 32:48Speaker 2: It was the one week that I actually didn't attend the class, but the Holy Spirit was nudging me outside of that class that I missed so much that week and he was actually stirring me to start to give up my gigs and that's a big part of my income.
- 33:03Speaker 2: That was like fifth of my income.
- 33:05Speaker 2: So all this to say, god will really nudge you to get in alignment with what he's calling you to do.
- 33:14Speaker 2: But here's the kicker.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Guys, listen up ready.
- 33:17Speaker 2: You've gotta be radically obedient.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Oh, give that over True love, guys.
- 33:25Speaker 1: You've gotta be radically obedient, and this is inside.
- 33:29Speaker 1: So all of this is inside the radiant leadership camp, the radiant speaker.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Then you can even be certified coach.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, I joined in February but didn't do anything.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I what I realized is I was going through my radiant leadership academy one-on-one with someone who's helping me dig out some of this stuff.
- 33:48Speaker 1: So when I was interviewing Michelle Schaefer, our wonderful CEO, and she about jumped out of the camera and you haven't been through our RLA.
- 33:57Speaker 1: I said no, but I'm joining in January with Molly because there's something that happens.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Yes, you're in a safe place.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Let's just talk about the leaders.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Can't add me, but just briefly, you're in a safe place and you're able to when you're around and when you're on a zoom call and you've got someone leading, but you're just in such a safe place.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Sometimes you just need a safe place to heal.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Speaking of safe places, this radiant speaker Academy, I think is one of the safest places, is, if you're ready to, you know that God's called you to talk.
- 34:32Speaker 1: You know that you have a talking.
- 34:34Speaker 1: You probably agree with me that is gonna be one of the safest places.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Let me give an example.
- 34:40Speaker 1: The first day I was trying to fit in 26 years of marriage in 10 minutes.
- 34:44Speaker 1: And I was all over the place, there were four, four advisors for coaches there to critique you.
- 34:53Speaker 1: But no, they didn't critique me, they lovingly Worked with me.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Like I'm still on stage, I just threw up all over the place and to say, no, you could bring this piece.
- 35:02Speaker 1: We didn't know about that.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Then to turn around, and I saw this with all the speakers turn around after some a little Anointing advice and then you come forward with the real day.
- 35:12Speaker 1: You get a practice day, you come forth with everything and you feel comfortable.
- 35:17Speaker 1: You, some people turn their notes and they didn't have their notes again.
- 35:19Speaker 1: You know what I, when I was talking to Lisa I can't say our last name, vendor walk.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a hard name.
- 35:28Speaker 1: This is what I, when she was asking me about the speaker Academy, just specifically, it hit me.
- 35:33Speaker 1: And the Bible talks about the anointing that flows from the Beard of Aaron and it's also about a lot of unity in that verse we were getting, as they were Distilling their advice, their love, we were getting the splash of their anointing on to us.
- 35:52Speaker 1: So the next day I'm so glad I sat and watched every talk the day before us Baskin and herbs, just because I was concerned if I could get it under 10 minutes.
- 36:01Speaker 1: I love to speak.
- 36:02Speaker 1: So you got to know it was like can I get this on our damn mad at?
- 36:05Speaker 1: That's the biggest pressure.
- 36:07Speaker 1: But the next day it was so full it was like revival.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Every person that gets an agree, every person that came to the stage Came in all their authenticity.
- 36:16Speaker 1: It was unbelievable.
- 36:19Speaker 1: That's why I think Michelle Schaefer wants to do this as a whole.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Another event because then you go into the conference and it's Unbelievable.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Can you tell we're really excited and all my gosh, our alliance.
- 36:31Speaker 1: That's a lot of meat and it's you would pay thousands to be a part.
- 36:36Speaker 1: I'm just sorry.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Let's talk about those that may have a poverty mindset.
- 36:40Speaker 1: You would pay thousands for this.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Investment is a kingdom principle investing in yourself and his kingdom.
- 36:48Speaker 1: I remember a few years ago I learned that and they said you can do ads.
- 36:52Speaker 1: That's an investment.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Oh, okay, I didn't think of it that way.
- 36:56Speaker 1: I had so fear trying.
- 36:57Speaker 1: If you're, I don't do ads right now.
- 37:00Speaker 1: It's organic a meaning.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna be seen in all alignment with heaven.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I may have a bad day, but I'm gonna turn it around as I look into the cameras.
- 37:08Speaker 1: So the study what was your perception?
- 37:12Speaker 1: You were ready.
- 37:13Speaker 1: You obviously went through what you go through 18 weeks of the pre-training that I wish I would have done that.
- 37:19Speaker 1: And then you were ready.
- 37:21Speaker 1: You had your message.
- 37:22Speaker 1: What was it like?
- 37:23Speaker 1: Let's say, what was it like just being there where you did you feel the nerves or what did you feel?
- 37:29Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, that's a great question.
- 37:31Speaker 2: First and foremost, the first nine weeks that I went through it I wasn't even fully invested.
- 37:36Speaker 2: So I was in it but I was divided in my attention, so really got serious.
- 37:41Speaker 2: I made a commitment, like to your point of investment.
- 37:43Speaker 2: You know when you make an investment you need to be committed because if you're not committed then the investment is not gonna feel in alignment With you know the commitment, and it's just gonna, it's not gonna sit well with you.
- 37:56Speaker 2: So I recommend, if you're gonna invest in something, that you really commit to it.
- 38:00Speaker 2: And I was even talking with somebody yesterday about these programs, these coaches, these things not to say that they're bad, because they're not, they are great.
- 38:08Speaker 2: But the amount of money people spend five to ten to fifteen thousand dollars, guys, you could literally come here, leverage over 70 coaches in one place and you could actually be here for six and a half years or so.
- 38:22Speaker 2: For the amount of money that you would spend for one year or six months in coaching with other programs, it's honestly mind-blowing to me that you could spend five to ten thousand dollars with one coach and maybe not even Feel like you get a ton out of it, or maybe you do, but you're only getting one particular Expertise when you can come inside of here.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Just as a side note, come in here, leverage over 70 coaches for a small Monthly fee and you could be here for six plus years with the amount of money you would spend elsewhere.
- 38:50Speaker 2: It's like a no-brainer, but specifically with the Speaker Academy.
- 38:57Speaker 2: So when I was 11, I remember very vividly and it didn't hit me till I was physically present on Tuesday into Wednesday when I was 11, I would sing in what was called the Easter cantata, which was a show that we did, acting out the life of Jesus and that time of Jerusalem and the birth of Jesus and everything.
- 39:15Speaker 2: And I remember being on stage as a young girl at the age of 11, and what everybody would call nerves was actually the Holy Spirit Inhabiting my body, taking my body over to the point where I would actually black out and then the Holy Spirit would take over my body and use my voice for his glory.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Yeah, the same thing actually happened.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Because remember, guys, if we go back really quick with the timeline, I was in the church all those years lost my faith.
- 39:42Speaker 2: In 2019, 2021, 22, figuring it out right, not a part of a church, walking it out with God.
- 39:50Speaker 2: So I had not been in ministry right, I had not been in ministry, I had not been serving, I had not been speaking, I had not been in music, nothing.
- 39:58Speaker 2: So this was really the first time in years that I had stepped foot in what you would call a form of ministry when I was creating Kingdom Impact.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Right, you guys see on my name here certified Kim 10 speaker, like Teresa mentioned.
- 40:14Speaker 2: It's like your TED Talk, but we are delivering for 10 minutes a King impact message.
- 40:20Speaker 2: So what ended up happening was Tuesday into Wednesday.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Like she said, we got our feedback and it was so welcoming in terms of the feedback.
- 40:33Speaker 2: It was encouraging, inspiring, and we got to craft it and have a few hours that night to go back and add Things and take things out, really craft it with that impact we want to have.
- 40:42Speaker 2: But the beautiful thing is Wednesday, before I spoke on stage, I had what you would call stank face, like I was like unapproachable, kind of shut down the way.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Yeah, couldn't be touched, couldn't talk, I didn't really want to entangle myself with conversation and what I realized was that the Holy Spirit, just like you did when I was 11, was actually taking over my body again and the Holy Spirit was actually downloading Everything that he wanted me to say and I didn't even realize at that moment what was going on.
- 41:23Speaker 2: But let me tell you, as soon as I stepped foot on that stage and I delivered the message, I actually felt the Holy Spirit yeah, deliver that message for me.
- 41:32Speaker 2: And I just remember, after I finished, because we're getting recorded that day, right, we're actually getting professionally recorded.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Yes, I remember Ferris looking at me in the back and she had said to me as soon as I finished my talk, I literally snapped into the room.
- 41:49Speaker 2: It was like I went and I was back in the room and I was looking around what's going on and I must have been well.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I believe everything you said.
- 42:00Speaker 1: What you just said I believe happens, but I was there, so I there was something on you and I and you say these messages have impact the.
- 42:09Speaker 1: I'm just showing you how much the Holy Spirit was all over the scene.
- 42:14Speaker 1: After the end of my message was like the reference to Paul and Silas, where the jailer come up to him and said what must you do to be saved?
- 42:22Speaker 1: And I said people are gonna come up to you and say what must I do to you?
- 42:25Speaker 1: Whatever that is, make money from home, be saved.
- 42:28Speaker 1: And so Dostina had this all over her and I'll never forget.
- 42:32Speaker 1: I'm sure you'll remember this.
- 42:33Speaker 1: We were outside this huge hotel in San Diego and I'm just talking to Dostina.
- 42:40Speaker 1: I said, hey, I see the Holy Spirit all over you, but me, let's just pray for more.
- 42:44Speaker 1: So I have you guys, tonya Tony took a picture, so I'm laying my hand on her praying for more.
- 42:51Speaker 1: And After I was done, who cut?
- 42:53Speaker 1: There was a gentleman who come up and he about said what must I do to be saved?
- 42:59Speaker 2: Yeah, he was like are you guys praying?
- 43:01Speaker 2: We're like yeah, so I started to pray.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Chris Dostina got a word of knowledge that he needed the guy would did.
- 43:09Speaker 1: He just have was about to go into triple bypass surgery.
- 43:11Speaker 1: So, yeah, you can introduce yourself.
- 43:13Speaker 1: We say impact and I'm just using that as a testimony Not every within time will you have.
- 43:21Speaker 1: I know what you're saying.
- 43:22Speaker 1: I just I know.
- 43:26Speaker 1: I.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Just how do I say this?
- 43:27Speaker 1: I just the more I love God and lay, but submitted to him and align myself with heaven.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Wherever I go, he's going to go, shift the atmospheres.
- 43:34Speaker 1: You, literally, we could see it on your arms.
- 43:38Speaker 1: That's going to be a memory.
- 43:40Speaker 1: You'll all and just think about that.
- 43:42Speaker 1: I think sometimes God gives us our anointing like that word literally is on our arms.
- 43:48Speaker 1: When I was talking to Michelle Schaefer about this, I all of a sudden felt the Holy Spirit right up to my face.
- 43:52Speaker 1: She was just talking about her love for it.
- 43:54Speaker 1: So we're really excited about this.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Do you hear me?
- 43:57Speaker 1: We believe in your voice, we believe you can be here and once again, I'm not unashamed doing it, scared, saying you need to come visit me this Friday, gpa mastermind, and get even some more details, but really just get testimonies.
- 44:14Speaker 1: I'm going to share a story from 2008, after my house was burned, that and I would retired from radio on a show wanting for God to help me make money.
- 44:26Speaker 1: And he said a keyword in a passage and I'm going to share this in details on Friday.
- 44:33Speaker 1: But he said what he was.
- 44:37Speaker 1: The widow asked, telling Elijah hey, I'm going to lose my kids, I'm in so much in debt.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Do you hear me?
- 44:45Speaker 1: It's debt, debt, debt.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Is that going?
- 44:47Speaker 1: And she goes to Elisha because her husband, who died, was one of the profits, so she could go boldly to Elisha and say hell.
- 44:54Speaker 1: And you know what Elisha asked her.
- 44:56Speaker 1: He said simply what can I do for you?
- 45:00Speaker 1: You believe not, ask not, you have not.
- 45:03Speaker 1: What can I do for you?
- 45:04Speaker 1: And the second thing he said what do you have in your house, 2008, in the midst of trauma losing my house and trauma and extreme and my marriage I have a computer, I have a video camera.
- 45:20Speaker 1: They didn't have iPhones and that, to this day, has been the stable point.
- 45:25Speaker 1: What can I do?
- 45:26Speaker 1: And if you know what the widow did, if you don't, she Elisha said go get as many Vessels as you can gather them.
- 45:34Speaker 1: I'm telling you the story.
- 45:36Speaker 1: And then he said go into your house, close the door because people are going to be mocking you when you follow your dreams, when you're doing what God's telling you they're going to go.
- 45:47Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 45:47Speaker 1: Close the door and she began to pour and pour until there were no more vessels.
- 45:52Speaker 1: She paid off her debts and she lived comfortably and she probably was a preacher of hey, gather some vessels.
- 46:00Speaker 1: That the basis.
- 46:03Speaker 1: What do you have in your house To be part of your power alliance?
- 46:08Speaker 1: You don't necessarily have to have a computer, although it does help.
- 46:11Speaker 1: You just have to have a belief that, as I'm learning, I'm going to gather as many people as I can to learn with me.
- 46:18Speaker 1: So there's a financial arm to this business where you basically just like with the students who have been doing the last time or many minutes sharing the goodness of God and I'm just happened to be attached to something that I can earn money as I help other women learn but myself, what do I get?
- 46:38Speaker 1: I get community.
- 46:39Speaker 1: I get my people.
- 46:41Speaker 1: I get to expand myself and be a speaker.
- 46:46Speaker 1: I get to go through the Radiant Leadership Academy and really hone deep on some personal development, because you really can't speak unless you take care of those wounds.
- 46:55Speaker 1: That is what we are offering and some of you may be jumping out of the, jumping out of the screen you just go to the link in these show notes, whether wherever you're watching, if you're listening to it show notes, if you're watching it show notes, and we'll just at least get just drip on you a little bit of the goodness of this not smash you over the head, although we probably would like to because we're so excited.
- 47:17Speaker 2: And one thing I will say, too, is I have a unique experience, right, guys?
- 47:22Speaker 2: Because you've heard my story.
- 47:22Speaker 2: I walked and talked and sang with you for 30 years.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Then I lost my faith and now I have it back, stronger than ever.
- 47:28Speaker 2: But you know what the difference is.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Now I am in 100% surrender.
- 47:35Speaker 2: There's you've got.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Listen, guys, I'm telling you right now, here, if you've heard anything, this entire podcast.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Please hear this Until you fully surrender to God, until you are radically obedient, to the point where you don't even know what God is going to do five minutes from now, 20 days from now or a year from now.
- 47:55Speaker 2: But you just say yes, god.
- 47:57Speaker 2: You just say yes, god.
- 47:59Speaker 2: I don't even know what you're doing, but my heart posture is I will be submitting to your will because you are the Lord of my life, you are the king of kings and you have the plan for me when you get to that point where you are in full surrender, because you did it your own way.
- 48:14Speaker 2: For many years, you've tried this road, you've went this way and it didn't work out.
- 48:18Speaker 2: It didn't work out fully the way that you wanted, because there's a sense of people wanting control.
- 48:26Speaker 2: Right, I wanted control, I wanted to have it my way.
- 48:28Speaker 2: I thought I knew better.
- 48:30Speaker 2: At times I thought that even the church had my life in its hands and knew better.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Guess what?
- 48:36Speaker 2: I had a big smack in the face, reality when my faith was gone.
- 48:40Speaker 2: So, and you know what happened, I had to get on my hands and knees and say Lord, I am so sorry.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Lord, I want nothing of me, but more of you.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Lord, if I can just touch the little hem of your garment, just a piece of it, I know I'll be restored in your holy name.
- 48:59Speaker 2: So, guys, you've got to get to the point where you're surrendering because, like we talked about that alignment piece, the alignment 100% does not happen.
- 49:09Speaker 2: The 360 alignment doesn't happen unless number one you are obedient, radically obedient, until you fully surrender.
- 49:17Speaker 2: And then, when you actually allow God to come in and prune the tree of all the things that don't serve you, it's scary as heck, it is ugly, it doesn't feel good.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Change in growth is not always easy, but, like Teresa and I are talking about today, that growth journey, when you go 16 weeks in Radiant Leadership Academy and deep dive with God guys I've been in church my whole life I'm telling you it happens when you are ready to fully surrender.
- 49:46Speaker 2: I walked and talked with Jesus for all my life but there was a part of me that still was not letting God into certain areas of my life.
- 49:53Speaker 2: When you open up that veil and you let God come in and you give him full surrender, full key access to every area of your life, watch what he will do.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Because I've been radically obedient, I am now a certified Kim 10 Radiant Speaker.
- 50:10Speaker 2: I am pursuing a business with God.
- 50:13Speaker 2: In the center of it all, my daughter, who is even having some things going on.
- 50:17Speaker 2: I'm watching it as I pray for her in the spirit.
- 50:21Speaker 2: I've reignited that Holy Spirit praying over her in full surrender, even giving God my daughter.
- 50:28Speaker 2: I am watching women's lives transform.
- 50:31Speaker 2: I mean, I'm telling you the changes that happen when you fully surrender and you get a total alignment.
- 50:39Speaker 2: So good, I can tell you I was like I had to sit up and go into.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Oh, jesus is pouring off.
- 50:46Speaker 1: I have never said this.
- 50:48Speaker 1: You need to rewind this podcast and listen to it again.
- 50:53Speaker 1: Listen to it once.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Never said this, but I really feel my spirit.
- 50:59Speaker 1: You need to rewind it Because there was so much of the Holy Spirit being poured out.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Sometimes we can only take a little bit in.
- 51:06Speaker 1: There's a lot here and it's 51 minutes of it, so I Think we gotta join you.
- 51:13Speaker 1: I think we got to get together again on another episode because this is so much good.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Oh my god, please, yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 51:19Speaker 1: I am here for it, man, I I love you, I miss you.
- 51:23Speaker 1: There was such a special camaraderie with the people that went through the speaker.
- 51:27Speaker 1: I just got a text from one of my buddies my roommate buddies and you know that I met there.
- 51:33Speaker 2: Oh, I want to say one thing about that I didn't say earlier, so those of you that are listening or watching about, specifically, the speaker Academy.
- 51:40Speaker 2: I feel so strongly about this.
- 51:44Speaker 2: When I was in that room and I know you were saying like, what was it like?
- 51:48Speaker 2: I know what it was like when I spoke, but, more importantly, when I was in that room with the other 20, 20 women I believe it was 20, 20 women there was such a breakthrough and such a healing and such a release.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Ooh, there was such a release of trauma.
- 52:08Speaker 2: There was release of Hurt, there was a release of brokenness, there was a release of confidence.
- 52:15Speaker 2: There was so much that happened in that room because women that were in communities that that literally had never spoken on a stage before spoke for the first time.
- 52:24Speaker 2: And not only did they spoke, they delivered.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Okay, they delivered something to other women as I sat there in that chair.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm into the feedback of these coaches for these women there were ladies up there that literally were Paving.
- 52:41Speaker 2: They were paving the way for a whole army of women behind them.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Guys, hear me on this.
- 52:47Speaker 2: You can be the change, you can be the leader, you can be the woman that, completely, is a catalyst for an army of women behind you, from your trauma, from your brokenness, from your hurt.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Listen, who did God call?
- 53:03Speaker 2: God called Gideon.
- 53:04Speaker 2: He said you're gonna be the mighty warrior, mmm.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Just what did he?
- 53:08Speaker 2: And felt he said me, god, are you kidding me?
- 53:11Speaker 2: I'm the least of my family, god, I don't know what I'm doing.
- 53:15Speaker 2: And Then Gideon went and he was worshiping all these other gods and he made an altar and worship Guess what.
- 53:22Speaker 2: It burned up in seconds.
- 53:23Speaker 2: It burned up in seconds and God tore it down and then said go build me an altar, give it to me, guys, when we are radically obedient and when we realize that we have a calling.
- 53:34Speaker 2: Guys, we all have a, you all have a calling, we all have a purpose.
- 53:39Speaker 2: Every person listen to this has a voice and God is saying are you gonna be getting and tell me all the reasons and excuses why you can't do this or why you can't speak, or are you gonna be obedient and are you gonna be the pave Maker?
- 53:53Speaker 2: Are you gonna pave the way for the ones behind you that need to get their message out too?
- 53:58Speaker 2: I sat in that room.
- 53:59Speaker 2: There were 20 women that got up on that stage and each and every one of them had a different story, and some of them even said my story is not as powerful as the other.
- 54:07Speaker 2: I Rebuke that in the name of Jesus, because even the least of has a story.
- 54:13Speaker 2: So it doesn't matter.
- 54:14Speaker 2: If you've gone through trauma, you know what?
- 54:16Speaker 2: If you've never been scape with trauma?
- 54:18Speaker 2: Praise God, hallelujah, but you have a story.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Maybe you have struggled as a mom, maybe you've struggled in business, maybe you struggled in something and somebody needs to hear it.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Molly always says your message is meant to be mentorship for someone else, and I watched it with my eyes in that room.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Every woman had a message oh, you just keep you speak and you just keep bringing up words.
- 54:43Speaker 1: This is Psalm 68, verse 11.
- 54:45Speaker 1: In the passion, god Almighty declares the word of the gospel with power, and the warring women of Zion Deliver its message.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Oh, we gonna end it on that because we could go for another hour.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Girlfriend, I miss you, but it's so nice to have coffee with you and share you with the Kingdom Mentor office Episode, and just to share you with the Kingdom Mentor podcast.
