- 0:08Speaker 1: Stand after after a spell.
- 1:34Speaker 2: All right, good morning game. We've got some frigid temperatures
- 1:39Speaker 2: this morning waking up. Gee, what was it at your house?
- 1:42Speaker 2: Minus three?
- 1:44Speaker 1: Was it?
- 1:44Speaker 2: Really? That's what my cause said? Mine mine was I
- 1:48Speaker 2: think a negative five? And then it warmed up for
- 1:51Speaker 2: some reason on the way to Bury too, like zero. Yeah,
- 1:57Speaker 2: it's just like, yeah, I don't know about you. I mean,
- 2:01Speaker 2: you live in a in a modern house. It's pretty
- 2:04Speaker 2: pretty tight. I mean it's pretty.
- 2:06Speaker 3: It's now really I have Florida ceiling windows front and
- 2:10Speaker 3: in the back, so those windows.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's cold. Yeah. And the wind and you're up
- 2:16Speaker 2: on a hill so the wind gets in there. Yeah,
- 2:23Speaker 2: it's chili. Two podcast hosts who are in complete violation
- 2:30Speaker 2: of the Acceptable Community Conduct Ordinance. Uh G JD. We
- 2:36Speaker 2: do it everything, do it every Thursday. We sit down.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Went in to see how much trouble we can make
- 2:43Speaker 3: on the airwaves.
- 2:46Speaker 2: And I don't think we're really trying to start trouble.
- 2:48Speaker 2: But you and I speak a mind.
- 2:51Speaker 3: You know, we say what others are thinking and afraid
- 2:53Speaker 3: to say. Everybody else says it, like through social media
- 2:58Speaker 3: and through the and everything else. Nobody actually has the
- 3:02Speaker 3: bulls to verbally say it in public, right except for
- 3:05Speaker 3: you me, Rex?
- 3:07Speaker 2: Right, you know, we just kind of call it out
- 3:10Speaker 2: will uh. And and here's the thing. Uh. You know,
- 3:15Speaker 2: even though it's like that, I also know that there's
- 3:19Speaker 2: can be plenty of people who just don't agree at all.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Oh well, who it is with anything that we say, Well,
- 3:28Speaker 2: we don't care. I honestly, you know what it's like,
- 3:33Speaker 2: I care, but I don't care. It's like I can't
- 3:36Speaker 2: watch the topics. I just don't care about how I
- 3:38Speaker 2: say it, right.
- 3:40Speaker 1: You know.
- 3:40Speaker 3: That's one thing I love about watching Rex's show with
- 3:43Speaker 3: you is Rex just sits there as calm as a
- 3:45Speaker 3: bird and fuck this and fuck that, and oh did
- 3:48Speaker 3: I upset you?
- 3:49Speaker 2: Fuck you too, you know.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I mean, you just say what you got to say,
- 3:53Speaker 3: and and anybody who doesn't like it shut it off.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Yeah, we're not. We're not used to that though this culture,
- 4:02Speaker 2: we're not. No, well, we get canceled. Yeah, you know,
- 4:06Speaker 2: it's funny. I was talking to my son down in
- 4:09Speaker 2: North Carolina this week and we had a nice talk.
- 4:12Speaker 2: We were talking for about i'd say forty five minutes,
- 4:15Speaker 2: and one of the things he says is, Dad, I
- 4:17Speaker 2: can't do that because I'd get canceled. And I said, well, well,
- 4:20Speaker 2: let me tell you something, kiddo. I says, here's the
- 4:23Speaker 2: bottom line. You people, you Millennium, I think that you
- 4:28Speaker 2: created this canceled culture. I said, you didn't. You just
- 4:32Speaker 2: gave it a new fucking name. I says.
- 4:35Speaker 3: What we used to do is, Hey, that restaurant sucks,
- 4:37Speaker 3: so we boycott it. You know, So you came up
- 4:41Speaker 3: with the word canceled, yes, and where we boycotted and
- 4:45Speaker 3: told our friends don't eat there and this and that
- 4:47Speaker 3: because it sucks or this person's a liar, so don't talk.
- 4:50Speaker 2: You people gave it. Oh you're canceled.
- 4:53Speaker 3: And you think that that woke canceled thing is a
- 4:56Speaker 3: new thing to us, and it's not. You just gave
- 4:58Speaker 3: it new names. So yeah, I'm not impressed. So you
- 5:02Speaker 3: want to cancel me, I'll boycott you. Boom done.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Did you get a chance to hear what was it yesterday?
- 5:13Speaker 2: I think when we were talking about affordability and housing.
- 5:21Speaker 2: That was two days ago or two days ago?
- 5:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I was all over the screen with that, and
- 5:26Speaker 3: at one point I said, I'm just going to be quiet,
- 5:29Speaker 3: and Rex sent a big thumbs up I was like.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Wow, Rex, really because you know damn well that.
- 5:34Speaker 3: If he was sitting here, he would have had a
- 5:36Speaker 3: lot to say about that.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Well he did, he I know, he called and went
- 5:43Speaker 2: right on the air and he but he had some
- 5:47Speaker 2: really oh absolutely really really good points. Great absolutely, But
- 5:52Speaker 2: you know some of the comments that was said, they're
- 5:55Speaker 2: all valid. But well, there's always a but. And as
- 6:02Speaker 2: Rex said, that's fine. It's easy to point a blame.
- 6:06Speaker 2: It's so easy to blame.
- 6:08Speaker 3: You blame the governor, you blame the housing authority, you
- 6:11Speaker 3: blame the federal everything's a blame. So let's now blame
- 6:16Speaker 3: the people that are coming in from.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Out of state.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Well, now it's therefore because they're rich and they can
- 6:21Speaker 3: afford what we can't, so they outbid us. Come on, sure,
- 6:24Speaker 3: come on, yeah, oh so we need to give them
- 6:28Speaker 3: a two hundred tax Come.
- 6:30Speaker 2: On, really, I get it, I hear you, but come on, yeah,
- 6:39Speaker 2: you know what I'm I'm grateful for though, I'm grateful
- 6:42Speaker 2: for the fact that people are willing to step forward
- 6:48Speaker 2: and share their opinion regardlessly, regardless of what it is.
- 6:51Speaker 3: And you know what, no opinion is wrong. I'm sorry,
- 6:54Speaker 3: no opinion because if it's your opinion, that's your view. Yeah,
- 6:58Speaker 3: so no opinion is wrong. Of course me saying, ah,
- 7:01Speaker 3: come on and bring it, come on. That's just my opinion.
- 7:04Speaker 3: It doesn't negate what other people say. It's just my opinion.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I hear you, I hear you.
- 7:14Speaker 3: But I'm not gonna I'm not going to get into
- 7:17Speaker 3: it in any kind of depth because the housing issue
- 7:21Speaker 3: is a problem. It's a problem. There's not enough affordable
- 7:24Speaker 3: housing out there, let's call it what it is. And
- 7:28Speaker 3: the people that are walking the streets that are what
- 7:32Speaker 3: are they they're mis homed or rehomed or whatever. You
- 7:35Speaker 3: can't call them homeless because that's you get canceled for that. Yeah,
- 7:42Speaker 3: but you know they're homeless. They don't have a house,
- 7:45Speaker 3: so that's home less, all right. Those people can't afford
- 7:49Speaker 3: a two hundred thousand dollars home. I get that, all right.
- 7:53Speaker 3: So we need to be able to get affordable housing.
- 7:55Speaker 3: And writing a free ticket for them to stay in
- 7:58Speaker 3: hotels and stuff isn't resolve. It resolves the immediate. But
- 8:03Speaker 3: when summertime comes and we lift that and we tell them, well,
- 8:06Speaker 3: you can't be in this hotel anymore, this motel anymore.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Free, then they're back homeless. So what are we doing.
- 8:15Speaker 3: In the winter, We're putting them in hotels and in
- 8:18Speaker 3: the summer we're letting them out on the streets. That's
- 8:20Speaker 3: not resolving the issue. Okay, that's not satisfying the people's needs.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Question here on YouTube in a comment question, some opinions
- 8:31Speaker 2: are wrong if based on wrong facts, you agree with.
- 8:34Speaker 3: That absolutely absolutely. If the fact is that sixty people
- 8:39Speaker 3: died in a plane crash and the opinion is, well,
- 8:41Speaker 3: I don't think fifty three of them should have been
- 8:43Speaker 3: on the plane, shut the fuck up. Come on, you know,
- 8:47Speaker 3: I mean, if the facts are the facts. If tomato
- 8:50Speaker 3: sauce is red because it's from tomatoes, somebody said, well, actually.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I think they're yellow. Tomato sauce isn't yellow.
- 8:58Speaker 3: So facts opinions are willing when they negate the facts.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Absolutely one hundred percent of great.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Uh comment here from Chuck. For the first time in
- 9:08Speaker 2: my life, I'm financially stable. I have excellent I have
- 9:13Speaker 2: an excellent credit score in a savings account with enough
- 9:16Speaker 2: money to put it down payment on an over expensive apartment,
- 9:19Speaker 2: and I can't find one, mainly because I have a
- 9:23Speaker 2: dog that I love as much as my children.
- 9:26Speaker 3: It's ridiculous, right and absolutely on Chuck, there are you
- 9:30Speaker 3: know my son one of my kids that lives here
- 9:34Speaker 3: in Vermont. He has an excellent job and his wife
- 9:40Speaker 3: has a good job, and they have three kids that
- 9:43Speaker 3: live with them, and he's been desperately looking for either
- 9:47Speaker 3: a larger apartment or some kind of affordable house that
- 9:51Speaker 3: they can get into, and it's just not out there.
- 9:55Speaker 3: And he doesn't have pets, so God forbid you have
- 9:59Speaker 3: a pet, which, let's be honest, a pet is a
- 10:04Speaker 3: psychological calmness for a lot of people. Yes, okay, that's
- 10:09Speaker 3: their friend. I'm looking right now to forster or adopt
- 10:13Speaker 3: the dog because I have a cat, but my cat's
- 10:16Speaker 3: an asshole and it doesn't like the cuddle. And I
- 10:18Speaker 3: like something that I can pet and cuddle because it
- 10:21Speaker 3: gives me that nurturing, relaxed, calm feeling. And yet people
- 10:25Speaker 3: are saying, oh, you can't have pets if you're gonna rent,
- 10:28Speaker 3: Come on, people, you know, charge them a little bit more,
- 10:32Speaker 3: maybe for you know, a pet deposit.
- 10:34Speaker 2: If something goes wrong but scratch up the side of
- 10:40Speaker 2: the wall or something. Yeah, I get it, I get.
- 10:41Speaker 3: It, But I mean if you're a responsible pet owner,
- 10:44Speaker 3: then you're gonna be responsible enough to fix any damage
- 10:47Speaker 3: that the pet does.
- 10:48Speaker 2: When I've been over to your house, why why is
- 10:51Speaker 2: your cat such a bitch? I don't know what's the attitude?
- 10:55Speaker 2: You know, the cat attitude with me? For I'm yes,
- 11:00Speaker 2: they just showed up.
- 11:01Speaker 3: And not only that, it's fat like that, it's watered,
- 11:04Speaker 3: it's got a fucking four hundred, five hundred dollars cat
- 11:07Speaker 3: litter box that fucking cleans itself, for Christ's sake. Okay,
- 11:11Speaker 3: it's got the room of the house upstairs and down,
- 11:14Speaker 3: every fucking room.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Why so stand offish and yeah, I don't know.
- 11:17Speaker 3: You know, we had we had a cat, and our cat, Merlin,
- 11:21Speaker 3: was an Abyssinian cat and the most lovable. And I've
- 11:25Speaker 3: never had an indoor cat before, so Merlin was my
- 11:28Speaker 3: first introduction to a cat in the home. And it
- 11:32Speaker 3: would sit with us, it would sit on my shoulder.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I mean, it was so loving.
- 11:36Speaker 3: So when it passed away, we waited a period of
- 11:38Speaker 3: time and then we decided to get another cat. And
- 11:42Speaker 3: I said, okay, let's get another cat. Even though I'm
- 11:44Speaker 3: a dog person, Let's get another cat. Because Merlin was
- 11:47Speaker 3: wonderful and cuddly.
- 11:49Speaker 2: So we get this.
- 11:50Speaker 3: When nobody told me the cats aren't all the same,
- 11:53Speaker 3: I thought, you know, a cat's a cat, you know,
- 11:55Speaker 3: But nope, nope, this one. You go to petit and
- 11:58Speaker 3: runs away and if you touch its head it scratches you,
- 12:01Speaker 3: and it's like, come on, yeah. So I'm like, you
- 12:04Speaker 3: know what I said to my husband, I'm sorry, but
- 12:07Speaker 3: I need to I'm going to forster it, hopefully like
- 12:11Speaker 3: a min pin or something cute that because I love
- 12:14Speaker 3: small dogs. I'm going to force the one in the
- 12:16Speaker 3: hopes of adopting, right, And he's like, well, I don't
- 12:20Speaker 3: know how the cat's go.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Well, the fuck the cat, right.
- 12:22Speaker 3: If the cat don't like it's get two options, an
- 12:26Speaker 3: outdoor cat or I'm going to put it in forster
- 12:29Speaker 3: for somebody to find it a good home because I
- 12:31Speaker 3: want something that interacts.
- 12:33Speaker 2: It's affectionate. That's affectionate because I have a lot to
- 12:36Speaker 2: give it. I disagree with Chuck. He says, well, normally
- 12:39Speaker 2: a cat has the personality of their owner. No new new, Chuck,
- 12:45Speaker 2: what do you think, Chuck? Come on, Chuck, your wraw
- 12:49Speaker 2: your opinion is now wrong. Cancel Ding Ding Ding, Why
- 12:54Speaker 2: did I read that on the air. I don't know.
- 12:56Speaker 3: But the fact is cats are their own pace people. Yeah,
- 13:01Speaker 3: I look at cats and dogs. You know, my brother
- 13:03Speaker 3: disagrees with me, but I'm like, cats are people too,
- 13:05Speaker 3: and dogs are people too, okay, and they need love
- 13:08Speaker 3: and they give love. But there are some cats that
- 13:10Speaker 3: are just asshole. Now flip it over. There are some
- 13:13Speaker 3: dogs that are assholes, Okay, but no, there are some,
- 13:17Speaker 3: there are some, not many, but cats, most of them
- 13:21Speaker 3: are standoffish. They're independent, and people love that about cats.
- 13:25Speaker 3: They love the fact that their cat's independent. Jed loves
- 13:27Speaker 3: our cat because if we go away for a week,
- 13:29Speaker 3: we have a feeder, we have a water container, we
- 13:33Speaker 3: have a robot that fucking cleans the litter so we
- 13:36Speaker 3: don't have to worry about it. So yes, in that sense,
- 13:39Speaker 3: they're less maintenance, less care. But they when they stand
- 13:44Speaker 3: offish and they bite people that come over, you know,
- 13:46Speaker 3: because they just want to pet the cat.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you and I are on to run this morning,
- 13:52Speaker 2: do we ever? Yeah, this is a yes or no question.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Do we ever need to prediscuss what we're going to
- 13:57Speaker 2: talk about? No? I don't think you ever have.
- 14:00Speaker 3: I think it's a couple of times we've discussed we
- 14:02Speaker 3: want to hit blah blah blah as a topic, and
- 14:04Speaker 3: we end up glossing over it because we've discussed it already.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Right, Chuck just said something that I can certainly relate to.
- 14:13Speaker 2: He did, he's been canceled. He's been canceled. He's been canceled.
- 14:18Speaker 2: But I know, I'm going north Pole, South Pole and
- 14:21Speaker 2: Chuck this morning. Now we're going to agree with it.
- 14:23Speaker 2: But but he just said he went through a very
- 14:25Speaker 2: difficult time in his life and if it wasn't for
- 14:28Speaker 2: his dog, he doesn't he doesn't know if he'd be
- 14:31Speaker 2: able to get through it, he would see. He says
- 14:33Speaker 2: he would live in his damn car absolutely to be
- 14:36Speaker 2: able to stay with his dog. I can, I can
- 14:39Speaker 2: relate to that.
- 14:40Speaker 3: You know, I had I had a great Dane and
- 14:45Speaker 3: oh my god, this great day and I loved it.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Is Zena. I think you remember Zena, my black and
- 14:50Speaker 3: white great Dane, absolutely gorgeous. And unfortunately I got very
- 14:54Speaker 3: ill and I was unable to take care of it,
- 14:56Speaker 3: and Jed had to go to work every day, so
- 14:58Speaker 3: it wasn't fair to to so I had to read
- 15:01Speaker 3: home Zena to a wonderful place that had another great day,
- 15:04Speaker 3: and so Xena had a lot of property to run
- 15:06Speaker 3: and it was happy. But dogs are I mean, when
- 15:10Speaker 3: I was laying on that couch, Zena would come over
- 15:13Speaker 3: and back its ass right onto the couch because I
- 15:16Speaker 3: mean the ass was higher than the couch, so he
- 15:18Speaker 3: literally back. But when it saw me laying on the
- 15:21Speaker 3: couch sick and I was sick for a number of months,
- 15:26Speaker 3: put its face next to my face and it would
- 15:28Speaker 3: just the cat. When I'm not feeling well and have
- 15:31Speaker 3: a cold, just a cold, the cat's like yeah, and
- 15:35Speaker 3: I'm laying there on the couch.
- 15:36Speaker 2: The cat sits on the ground.
- 15:38Speaker 3: And looks at me like what's something? Yeah, And so
- 15:40Speaker 3: I go to put my hand out and it runs away.
- 15:42Speaker 3: I'm like, fuck you.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Too, that's not that's not. Where's the love. I hope
- 15:49Speaker 2: Chuck sticks around long enough because we are going to
- 15:52Speaker 2: be getting We did it, people, we bought it, we
- 15:56Speaker 2: got it. It's here, Melvena. To Go, oh Vell to
- 16:01Speaker 2: Go is the latest. I don't know Walmart thing. I
- 16:08Speaker 2: thought that this was a joke.
- 16:09Speaker 3: No, no, I went home. After we talked about it,
- 16:12Speaker 3: I went home and I ordered it. I got a
- 16:14Speaker 3: few boxes. I have one at the house, so Jed
- 16:17Speaker 3: I gave Jeded a box and my brother a box.
- 16:19Speaker 3: I said, a pouch, and I says here. So Jed
- 16:22Speaker 3: right away opened it up and started tastes and he goes, oh,
- 16:27Speaker 3: this is not bad.
- 16:29Speaker 2: It tastes like velveta, duh. And then my brother goes, well,
- 16:32Speaker 2: I think it's a little salty. I was like, it's
- 16:34Speaker 2: fucking velveta. Right. I'm going to put on my readers
- 16:38Speaker 2: pretty soon here and before I dive into this, and
- 16:41Speaker 2: it brought some ritz crackers before I get into this
- 16:44Speaker 2: this morning, I am going to read the ingredient list
- 16:47Speaker 2: before we go, and we are going to have so
- 16:49Speaker 2: much fun about this. I ordered a few more.
- 16:52Speaker 3: I think I order three more boxes because Jed was like,
- 16:55Speaker 3: this is good.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I said, Jed, I order more.
- 16:57Speaker 3: You put it in your back pocket, yeah, and take
- 17:00Speaker 3: it to work and when you're doing wires and stuff
- 17:03Speaker 3: and doing meetings, pop yourself.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Some'll belveta to go. And if you're out the worst,
- 17:08Speaker 2: you're gonna be out hiking or whatever. Put it next
- 17:11Speaker 2: to the new aren't you.
- 17:12Speaker 3: You and I are planning to we're gonna video we're
- 17:15Speaker 3: going out hiking. Hopefully we'll be okay, surviving, surviving right, well,
- 17:19Speaker 3: and hopefully we'll be okay. I'm gonna have Jed shoot
- 17:21Speaker 3: the video, but thank god we had to go. Now
- 17:31Speaker 3: show everybody what I brought you. I brought you treats today.
- 17:41Speaker 3: It's let's say it's by donation.
- 17:45Speaker 2: This is uh sausage homemade sausage sauce.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Right, I'm gonna have a basil sauce, a meat sauce,
- 17:53Speaker 3: and an impossible meats.
- 17:57Speaker 2: But you're gonna be making this available for sale to
- 18:00Speaker 2: our listeners for donations. Yes, we want the I R
- 18:06Speaker 2: s to be happy for donations. Yes, When will you
- 18:12Speaker 2: have this available for our listeners?
- 18:14Speaker 3: Well, the sausage one is available. Now I'm doing the
- 18:18Speaker 3: impossible meat one, which is no meat anything. It's it's
- 18:22Speaker 3: impossible meat and it tastes amazing. I'm doing that one
- 18:25Speaker 3: this week, so that'll be available by the end of
- 18:27Speaker 3: the week.
- 18:28Speaker 2: So if you're vegan you can get into that. Oh gosh, yes, okay,
- 18:31Speaker 2: all right, yes, I'll take the non vecane and then
- 18:36Speaker 2: I'm gonna have a regular sausage.
- 18:38Speaker 3: And then I'm gonna have a regular meat sauce, okay,
- 18:40Speaker 3: and I'm also going to have a basil sauce which
- 18:42Speaker 3: has no meats at no impossible meats.
- 18:44Speaker 2: That looks amazing, buddy. All right, So Papa Gee's sauce sauce.
- 18:49Speaker 2: All right. So at some point we're gonna have this available,
- 18:53Speaker 2: right so people can say, hey, save me one jar,
- 18:57Speaker 2: two jars whatever.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Yeah, and eight whatever Poppa G feels is fair?
- 19:03Speaker 2: All right? This I saw pictures on your social media.
- 19:08Speaker 2: If you're doing this, this is a fig jam.
- 19:11Speaker 3: It's it's one pure natural fig It's straight up figs.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I mean, these are fresh figs. It's not like I,
- 19:19Speaker 3: you know, went out and you know, picked the fig
- 19:23Speaker 3: under an ice bocket or whatever. They're fresh figs with
- 19:26Speaker 3: the skins on and everything that were all melted down
- 19:29Speaker 3: and turned into jam. I actually opened mind yesterday because
- 19:32Speaker 3: I did a big draw for me, and uh I
- 19:35Speaker 3: opened it and I put it on toast. Damn if
- 19:39Speaker 3: it didn't taste like almost like a fig Newton but sweeter.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Did it right out? Nop? Nope, nope, no, nope. Usually
- 19:47Speaker 2: figs you know kind of a lot of fiber. Yeah, no,
- 19:51Speaker 2: you know, nope.
- 19:53Speaker 3: It was good. Some people, some people. Some people eat
- 19:57Speaker 3: figs for fiber.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yes, I will not say well, some people eat well,
- 20:03Speaker 2: some people can't go anywhere near this stuff because they
- 20:06Speaker 2: have a little bit on a cracker and then it's
- 20:10Speaker 2: a natural. They're on the they're on the toilet for
- 20:14Speaker 2: like three days. We're not going to say any names. Rylyn, Oh,
- 20:21Speaker 2: I'm so sorry. Then we have the spicy dill pickles.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Then when I say spicy, I'm not talking Oh it's
- 20:33Speaker 3: got a little tang. I'm talking spicy.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, give me goosebumps. Oh yeah, sweat on the
- 20:40Speaker 2: back of the neck.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Hopefully, hopefully there's a fresh jalapeno in their whole quarter
- 20:46Speaker 3: of a jalapeno in there on top of the uh,
- 20:50Speaker 3: spicy red flakes that are in there, with a whole
- 20:53Speaker 3: garlic that's been smashed and put in there, and then
- 20:56Speaker 3: fresh dill that's in there.
- 20:58Speaker 2: I love stuff that is so hot that I cry,
- 21:02Speaker 2: I cough, my nose is running.
- 21:05Speaker 3: And that will be the hot Wings challenge we'll be doing,
- 21:08Speaker 3: which by the way, I've lined up I've lined up
- 21:11Speaker 3: guests about I've lined up guests.
- 21:13Speaker 2: To do that with you. Yeah, it's he can Chuck. Come, Chuck.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Feel free to.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Come, as long as you don't talk about cats.
- 21:24Speaker 2: But yeah, no, it's going to be.
- 21:26Speaker 3: If anybody's ever seen the Hot Wings Challenge, yeah, on YouTube,
- 21:31Speaker 3: it's it's a fun show and they have. What they
- 21:34Speaker 3: do is they put out ten wings and each wings
- 21:38Speaker 3: is saturated in hot sauce. But each hot source starts
- 21:42Speaker 3: with a very mild, basic hot sauce that you could
- 21:45Speaker 3: eat at a restaurant or whatever, and goes up to
- 21:48Speaker 3: a skullville that's so high. And if Jed you're listening,
- 21:50Speaker 3: you can tell me what the highest skull bill is.
- 21:52Speaker 2: It's over a million.
- 21:53Speaker 3: That's yeah, that's so high that when you take a bite,
- 21:57Speaker 3: everything about you just hears and sweats and everything else
- 22:02Speaker 3: under the sun. So there's ten of them, and what
- 22:06Speaker 3: I do is I saturate ten different hot wings, ten
- 22:09Speaker 3: different wings with ten different hot sources starting from mild
- 22:12Speaker 3: to hot, and then I put them out. So if
- 22:14Speaker 3: I have five guests, each guest gets ten wings in
- 22:19Speaker 3: a line, and we start with number one and they
- 22:22Speaker 3: taste it and they give opinions and this and that,
- 22:24Speaker 3: and we go all the way to number ten. Usually
- 22:27Speaker 3: by the time they get to number six. Some of
- 22:30Speaker 3: my guests get up across their arms and start walking
- 22:33Speaker 3: around the room because they're trying to work it off.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Some oh yeah, that like that really works. Some are
- 22:41Speaker 3: eating yogurt, some are having ice creams, some are having
- 22:45Speaker 3: milk ice water because I supply all that stuff too. You. Yeah,
- 22:49Speaker 3: it's all by everybody's station. And some people are tearing,
- 22:54Speaker 3: some people are cursing. I'm laughing my ass off the
- 22:57Speaker 3: whole time. And yeah, so so we're doing we're gonna
- 23:02Speaker 3: do a live episode. Well we're gonna do it live
- 23:06Speaker 3: in tape it, but then we'll probably run it on
- 23:08Speaker 3: the podcast later. But it's gonna be Yeah, we're gonna do.
- 23:12Speaker 3: You're gonna be there. Jad's gonna be there. Our friend Brian,
- 23:16Speaker 3: who loves doing it, is gonna be there because he
- 23:18Speaker 3: loves hot food. My brother is still deciding he'll probably
- 23:21Speaker 3: do it. My neighbor Rob bowed out because the last
- 23:25Speaker 3: time he was folding his arms pacing back and forth,
- 23:28Speaker 3: and his wife Tracy and I were just hysterical laughing.
- 23:31Speaker 2: And here's the thing, and can we just we're just
- 23:34Speaker 2: gonna say it like it is because it's called aired out.
- 23:37Speaker 2: It burn's going in it, burns going out.
- 23:41Speaker 3: You know, they have guests on when you watch it
- 23:43Speaker 3: on YouTube, they have famous people that do it. And
- 23:49Speaker 3: it's funny because a couple of people have eaten the
- 23:52Speaker 3: second bite, taking the second wing and said I'm fucking done.
- 23:56Speaker 2: I'm out.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Yeah, And then there are people like Demi Moore. Demi
- 24:02Speaker 3: Moore does it. She went through all ten. By the
- 24:04Speaker 3: tenth one, She's.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Like, yeah, it's got a kick. And then Jed is
- 24:07Speaker 2: like that. Jed is like that something there's something something wrong.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Is it neurological?
- 24:12Speaker 3: I think it's psychotic because the bottom line is when
- 24:18Speaker 3: when Jed does it, like when I make Jed rice
- 24:21Speaker 3: at night, I make you know, fresh rice and I
- 24:24Speaker 3: put seasons in it and all that stuff with his
- 24:27Speaker 3: I put like one of the really hot sources in it,
- 24:30Speaker 3: and then I put red flakes in it, and then
- 24:32Speaker 3: I put Sacha in it and he eats and I'm like,
- 24:35Speaker 3: how is it thinking he's gonna be and he goes good,
- 24:38Speaker 3: it's got a it's got a nice kick.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I'm like, fuck you. I think only once I.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Made something that both him and my brother were like, no, no,
- 24:47Speaker 3: it's too bad.
- 24:48Speaker 2: But yeah, Uh, Chris Massey is saying that he makes
- 24:52Speaker 2: habanero infused tequila. Yes, very we've done that.
- 24:57Speaker 3: We've done that, and let me tell you, it is
- 25:00Speaker 3: fun because if you like tequila and then all of
- 25:03Speaker 3: a sudden, you drink it and you're like, I love it,
- 25:05Speaker 3: but it's hurting, but it's good.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Oh that's how I am.
- 25:08Speaker 3: That's what I fucking amazing, Chris.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I agree on with you. I love a hob and yarrow.
- 25:14Speaker 2: I mean a jalapeno margarita. Yeah, with the seeds and
- 25:20Speaker 2: all that shit.
- 25:21Speaker 3: And what I do is I take the seeds and
- 25:23Speaker 3: I mash them so that it opens the seeds so
- 25:26Speaker 3: the oils are even more Yeah.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah if I and I love to like but
- 25:33Speaker 2: as I'm sipping the margarita crunching on the jalapeno peppers. Yes.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Do you remember when I made Papage's hot oil. Yes,
- 25:43Speaker 3: and you used to put the oil in the pan
- 25:45Speaker 3: and then cook your meat and you were like, oh.
- 25:47Speaker 2: It had such a nice heap to it. Do you
- 25:49Speaker 2: still infuse that.
- 25:50Speaker 3: I don't make as much of the infused oils as
- 25:54Speaker 3: I used to, because I used to infuse all different
- 25:57Speaker 3: flavors into different oils. But that's that's a process that
- 26:01Speaker 3: you have to go through each time to make sure
- 26:04Speaker 3: the oils don't go bad when they sit.
- 26:06Speaker 2: All right, I understand. Yeah, we're gonna do some news
- 26:11Speaker 2: here and then you and I are going to be
- 26:13Speaker 2: putting down some velt to go velvia cheese sauce here
- 26:18Speaker 2: in just a little bit, and I'm gonna, you know,
- 26:21Speaker 2: have it right here on camera, and I'm sure it's
- 26:24Speaker 2: going to be delicious.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Oh shit, you know what I did before you do
- 26:26Speaker 3: the news?
- 26:27Speaker 2: Do you see this?
- 26:28Speaker 3: I don't know if anybody can see it, but it's
- 26:30Speaker 3: the number eight on here. And when I go to
- 26:35Speaker 3: play d and d over at the neighbor's house on Sundays.
- 26:38Speaker 2: What a geek?
- 26:39Speaker 3: I know, well, I hate it, but I do it
- 26:40Speaker 3: because Jed likes it. I bring a couple of these
- 26:43Speaker 3: with me to drink, and what I do is on top,
- 26:47Speaker 3: I put how many drops of pot juice whatever you
- 26:53Speaker 3: want to call it, how many drops I put in
- 26:56Speaker 3: And I start with like a number three so that
- 26:58Speaker 3: I can still play the game. And then middle of
- 27:01Speaker 3: the game, I go to number five and at the
- 27:03Speaker 3: end I go to number eight, which makes me fucked up,
- 27:06Speaker 3: so by the time I get home, I'm passed out.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Well, I grabbed a drink.
- 27:09Speaker 3: This morning, not knowing that this is a number eight,
- 27:13Speaker 3: so I am this is a number eight, so I
- 27:17Speaker 3: will not be drinking this during the show because by
- 27:21Speaker 3: the end of the show, I'll really be fucked up.
- 27:25Speaker 3: I grabbed a long run.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Glenn says, beverage in hanswer, Yes, beverage in hansl Yes.
- 27:32Speaker 3: You know last night I took a gummy before bed,
- 27:34Speaker 3: so I think drinking this this morning, I'm definitely and
- 27:38Speaker 3: then I got a drive, so I think I'll pass.
- 27:42Speaker 2: But news speak to the news. Speaking of Glenn, he said,
- 27:45Speaker 2: you know you wore blue today because.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Because Glenn said I look good in blue. I was
- 27:50Speaker 3: gonna wear this big black turtleneck sweater, but I said, well,
- 27:55Speaker 3: let me put it on a blue t shirt.
- 27:57Speaker 2: With a blue shirt, because Glenn said, so of Glenn. Yes,
- 28:03Speaker 2: some serious news here. Last night, a Regional American Eagle
- 28:06Speaker 2: plane en route from Wichita, Kansas collided in mid air
- 28:12Speaker 2: with a military helicopter as it was landing at d
- 28:15Speaker 2: c's Reagan National Airport. This is like ten o'clock or so.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Last black Hawk. Yeah, Blackhawk. Unbelievable. Three soldiers on the
- 28:24Speaker 2: black Hawk and what sixty four people were on board
- 28:29Speaker 2: the plane.
- 28:30Speaker 3: And the funny thing is they said that the black
- 28:32Speaker 3: Hawk helicopter flies in that airspace. All right, fine, right,
- 28:37Speaker 3: but I guess there's a certain height that's supposed to go.
- 28:39Speaker 3: And unfortunately that just didn't work.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Crashed into the yeah, into the near freezing water of
- 28:46Speaker 2: the Potomac River. No survivors have been found from either
- 28:51Speaker 2: aircraft as of early this morning. What a story, and
- 28:55Speaker 2: it is developing. So we'll be I'll be you know,
- 29:00Speaker 2: if I see anything on the news today, I'll be
- 29:02Speaker 2: sharing that post. Wow. Former New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez
- 29:08Speaker 2: gold Bar Bob sentenced yesterday afternoon eleven years in prison
- 29:12Speaker 2: on bribery, fraud, and extortion charges in federal court in Manhattan.
- 29:17Speaker 2: The US government is going to repurpose Guantanamo Bay to
- 29:22Speaker 2: hold as many as what are you laughing about, Gee, you're.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Laughing government officials. Everybody's going to jail, Yeah, and they
- 29:31Speaker 3: can come out and still run for government.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Thirty thousand undocumented migrants headed to Guantanamo Bay after President
- 29:44Speaker 2: Trump said yesterday the facilities are going to be used
- 29:48Speaker 2: as a holding center for high priority migrants facing deportation
- 29:53Speaker 2: with criminal backgrounds.
- 29:59Speaker 3: And we get we get the people that actually live
- 30:02Speaker 3: in the US with criminal backgrounds in there too. Yeah,
- 30:05Speaker 3: why we got to put just those in there? Why
- 30:07Speaker 3: can't we just put as if Gitmo couldn't possibly get worse?
- 30:12Speaker 3: Now we've got thirty thousand scumbags that are headed right
- 30:17Speaker 3: into get I think the best thing to do before
- 30:20Speaker 3: you send them in there is give each person a
- 30:22Speaker 3: packet of vel to go.
- 30:24Speaker 2: I'm going to be eating it here in just a minute.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Are you sitting down? Chuck says that you look good
- 30:30Speaker 2: in blue. Could be flirtatious, I don't know, but anyway, or.
- 30:37Speaker 3: It could just be that men are no longer afraid
- 30:40Speaker 3: to compliment other men.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Oh my god, you know what. I haven't heard a
- 30:45Speaker 2: single fucking comment from you this morning about how nice
- 30:49Speaker 2: I look in this sweater or from Chuck.
- 30:51Speaker 3: I believe I complimented you last time. One a month
- 30:55Speaker 3: is more than enough. That shit goes to your head.
- 30:59Speaker 2: And what I don't want to talk about this one. Oh.
- 31:05Speaker 2: We have the fire Aid benefit concert for Los Angeles
- 31:08Speaker 2: wildfires taking place tonight. Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Lady Gaga,
- 31:17Speaker 2: Stevie wonder All going to be there, yep, yep, yep.
- 31:24Speaker 2: You know anything about this? You've followed any of that,
- 31:27Speaker 2: I'm not. I didn't follow that anybody. You know. If
- 31:30Speaker 2: it's going to be televised anywhere, oh, I'm sure it
- 31:34Speaker 2: will be okay. They'll probably have a hotline at the
- 31:37Speaker 2: bottom that people can call and donate too. Hey, Steve
- 31:42Speaker 2: McKenzie is before I forget, it's going to be coming
- 31:45Speaker 2: here Monday, nice, and we're going to be talking about
- 31:50Speaker 2: the JJ Newberry building right down the road here. There
- 31:54Speaker 2: was supposed to be a big press conference yesterday about
- 31:57Speaker 2: developments on that, not construction developments, but conversation developments and
- 32:06Speaker 2: what the latest is because that building looks like shit, yeah,
- 32:10Speaker 2: has for one hundred years.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Yep.
- 32:14Speaker 2: So he's going to be in here Monday and we're
- 32:16Speaker 2: going to be opening up that can of worms. Nice.
- 32:20Speaker 3: So basically what you're saying is I should watch and
- 32:23Speaker 3: not type like I always know.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Of course, I want you to type. I want to
- 32:27Speaker 2: hear what people's comments are. But it's it's going to
- 32:29Speaker 2: be interesting. I gotta pull up some birthdays here. I'm
- 32:34Speaker 2: getting some ship for forgetting about the birthdays. Gee, that's
- 32:37Speaker 2: not good. Birthdays today on this almost the last day
- 32:44Speaker 2: of the month. Thirty thirty one. What's thirty one thirty one? Yeah,
- 32:51Speaker 2: so Saturday is.
- 32:52Speaker 3: The first Saturday of course, Yes, all right.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Laura Daily's on the list today. Chad Hollister, Happy birthday, buddy.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I didn't know it was his birthday. To do now
- 33:02Speaker 2: everyone knows now, Carol Trombley, Happy birthday, Lydia Mangan, Tom Munsey,
- 33:10Speaker 2: Brenda Shephard, Alvin new Hall is on the birthday list today.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Alpha is a great guy, man. Do you know? Alva
- 33:20Speaker 2: No Sixty two years old? Chris Morrile Tyler Dowe, Mariah Morris,
- 33:29Speaker 2: let's see Mallory Wheeler. And I think that's it. I
- 33:33Speaker 2: think that's it for the birthdays. Facebook questions of the day.
- 33:39Speaker 2: And I want to hear you touch on this. You
- 33:42Speaker 2: can be a touch and go. America's children are falling
- 33:46Speaker 2: further behind in reading in the wake of COVID nineteen
- 33:50Speaker 2: and have made little improvement in math, according to the
- 33:53Speaker 2: latest results of an exam known as the Nation's report Card.
- 33:59Speaker 2: First of all fucking hate report cards. I don't care
- 34:04Speaker 2: if they're good. I don't care if they're bad. I
- 34:06Speaker 2: just I hate standardized testing. I always have. You know,
- 34:11Speaker 2: we're all good in some things, and some things we
- 34:13Speaker 2: suck at. Exactly. Some of us are really freaking smart,
- 34:17Speaker 2: but as soon as we got a pencil in the
- 34:19Speaker 2: hand and we have the pressure that we have to
- 34:21Speaker 2: sit down and test, yep, we suck.
- 34:23Speaker 3: The anxiety for whatever people messes it up. Oh you
- 34:27Speaker 3: know you've seen and heard people say when they're taking tests,
- 34:30Speaker 3: oh my god, I know this, I know this. Why
- 34:32Speaker 3: can't I remember? Because they're so anxious, right, okay, and
- 34:37Speaker 3: and so much pressure is put on them.
- 34:40Speaker 1: You know.
- 34:41Speaker 3: One of the things I don't know if they still
- 34:42Speaker 3: do it now, but one of the tests they always
- 34:45Speaker 3: gave us when we were in elementary school or whatever
- 34:49Speaker 3: it was junior high, was they gave us a test
- 34:52Speaker 3: to give us an idea of what we were going
- 34:54Speaker 3: to be. Oh yeah, yeah, and mine came out that
- 34:59Speaker 3: I was gonna be a cop. Could you see me
- 35:03Speaker 3: as a cop? Jesus, give me a gun and a badge.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Watch out. So you know, these tests aren't aren't genuine.
- 35:13Speaker 3: You know, I know people that never went to college
- 35:16Speaker 3: that are holding some serious fucking positions and jobs because
- 35:20Speaker 3: they're so goddamn smart. Oh, I said, I said, gds.
- 35:24Speaker 3: So if somebody gets upset with me, why.
- 35:27Speaker 2: So?
- 35:28Speaker 3: I don't think these tests are a fair comparison for kids.
- 35:32Speaker 3: I think it gives us a baseline to let us
- 35:34Speaker 3: know what we need to do. Of course, I mean,
- 35:37Speaker 3: I'm sorry, but I drive through through Barry, and I
- 35:40Speaker 3: stop at stores and and kids don't know how to
- 35:43Speaker 3: make change at the register unless they have a calculator
- 35:46Speaker 3: in front of them, you know, which, which is very
- 35:50Speaker 3: disheartening for me. You know, it comes to fourteen dollars
- 35:54Speaker 3: and thirty three cents, and they put in fourteen thirty
- 35:57Speaker 3: three in the register and they get the change up,
- 35:59Speaker 3: and then I said, oh wait, here's the thirty three.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Oh my god. You know you you and you complained
- 36:06Speaker 2: about this a couple of weeks ago, and I remember, yeah,
- 36:09Speaker 2: I remember, I remember comment from Becky saying, you know
- 36:15Speaker 2: valid is something to the effect of valid point point
- 36:20Speaker 2: well taken, mm hmm. But if you see someone who's
- 36:27Speaker 2: struggling behind the cash register, help and if you know
- 36:31Speaker 2: what the answer is are what they owe, you just
- 36:33Speaker 2: help him out. Of course I do.
- 36:35Speaker 3: I know, of course I do, because I don't want
- 36:37Speaker 3: to sit there and wait while they count on their fingers. Right, Okay,
- 36:41Speaker 3: you know, if it comes to to something and I
- 36:43Speaker 3: give them the extra change so that I can get
- 36:45Speaker 3: a five dollar bill back instead of four singles, yeah,
- 36:48Speaker 3: I'll say to them it's five dollars change. Yeah, and
- 36:51Speaker 3: they're like, oh okay, and.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Then they hand me five fucking singles. I'm like, I
- 36:57Speaker 2: gave you this so I could get a five dollar bill.
- 37:00Speaker 2: But you know, what, do I know? Do you have
- 37:05Speaker 2: any idea how bad your experience would be if I
- 37:11Speaker 2: was at the cash register. It would be so bad.
- 37:17Speaker 3: I know, because first of all, I'd say I get
- 37:19Speaker 3: five back, and you're.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Like, wait a minute, wait a minute, I'm going the map. Yeah,
- 37:23Speaker 2: that would be me. I'd be taking off my shoes,
- 37:25Speaker 2: counting my toes. It would not be good, trust me,
- 37:28Speaker 2: would be horrible. But anyway, I want to know what
- 37:33Speaker 2: people think about that, you know, I mean, Lily's you know,
- 37:36Speaker 2: doing this this whole you know, math this.
- 37:42Speaker 3: And math that, and then well it's good to get
- 37:45Speaker 3: a baseline of where on an average we're at. Yeah,
- 37:48Speaker 3: but you can't hold that average directly to one individual, right, Okay.
- 37:53Speaker 3: I mean when you do an average, you take an
- 37:55Speaker 3: accumulation of one hundred people or whatever, and you figure
- 37:58Speaker 3: out what the baseline is for those. You can't say, well,
- 38:01Speaker 3: it's down here because Mary over there didn't do You
- 38:04Speaker 3: can't do that, right because Mary sucks at math, but
- 38:07Speaker 3: she's fucking amazing at English and it's going to be
- 38:09Speaker 3: a publisher one day, so you can't. You can't take
- 38:14Speaker 3: it on an individual basis.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Stacy says that singles are for the for the tip. No, no, Stacy, No.
- 38:26Speaker 3: If I'm in Orbishon's and I'm getting five singles back,
- 38:29Speaker 3: who am I gonna tip the lady who couldn't do
- 38:31Speaker 3: the math?
- 38:32Speaker 2: Come on, Chuck keeps a stash of singles for a
- 38:38Speaker 2: a whole different, whole, different reason. Completely Yeah, I am
- 38:44Speaker 2: totally different. They may have something to do with a poll.
- 38:47Speaker 2: I don't know, we don't know, we don't know. But
- 38:52Speaker 2: if somebody gives me five singles back at a restaurant
- 38:55Speaker 2: because they want tips, that's gonna piss me off even more. Okay,
- 38:58Speaker 2: because I already know what I'm to tip. You're and
- 39:00Speaker 2: not for nothing. Jed and I are very generous tippers.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Yeah, we are very like even when it says you
- 39:06Speaker 3: can tip three percent, five percent, eighteen percent, we go
- 39:09Speaker 3: above that.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Yeah, if the service is good.
- 39:11Speaker 3: I mean when we went to Michael's on the Hill
- 39:13Speaker 3: a couple of weeks ago, they got one hundred dollar
- 39:15Speaker 3: tip because the service was great and the course of
- 39:19Speaker 3: the Michaels on the Hill is not cheap anyway. But
- 39:23Speaker 3: we have no problem writing a twenty five dollars tip
- 39:26Speaker 3: for a fifteen dollars meal because that's what they do
- 39:29Speaker 3: for a living and they deserve it they do it well,
- 39:32Speaker 3: but don't tell me how much to tip.
- 39:35Speaker 2: The New York Department of Corrections in Communities Supervision has
- 39:40Speaker 2: placed Upstate Correctional Facility in Malone under a lockdown effective
- 39:45Speaker 2: yesterday morning, after several recent incidents of chemical exposure at
- 39:51Speaker 2: the facility this month, where people had to be taken
- 39:54Speaker 2: to the hospital. Yes, and some even had to be
- 39:59Speaker 2: given narcm What the fuck is going on in this prison?
- 40:04Speaker 2: What's in there?
- 40:05Speaker 3: What do you mean in this prison in the prison system?
- 40:08Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, but I mean this particular one, Yeah, I mean.
- 40:12Speaker 3: Somebody got snuck something into their butt crack. And everybody
- 40:15Speaker 3: got sick.
- 40:16Speaker 2: God, that's crazy. Yep. Good morning to Shirley Potter. By
- 40:21Speaker 2: the way, she's tuned in this morning, very devoted listener. Yeah,
- 40:25Speaker 2: never matter, but uh, there she is, and Chuck is
- 40:28Speaker 2: still on man, Chuck's still with us. You know, you know,
- 40:32Speaker 2: it's difficult to maintain Chuck's focus.
- 40:37Speaker 3: And attention well because they never know what's going to
- 40:39Speaker 3: come out on Thursdays and Fridays.
- 40:41Speaker 2: We don't know.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Okay, the best way to end your week, people is
- 40:47Speaker 3: Thursday and Friday at nine o'clock. Because you've got JD
- 40:50Speaker 3: who tries to be politically correct, and then you got Me,
- 40:57Speaker 3: who is very cautious not to upset or offend anybody.
- 41:01Speaker 3: And then you've got Rex, who all he does is
- 41:03Speaker 3: talk sweet nothings in people's ears. I mean, so you
- 41:06Speaker 3: get the best of you know, what a kindness right
- 41:11Speaker 3: from the three of us.
- 41:12Speaker 2: There there are people that love Rex and there are
- 41:15Speaker 2: people that hate Rex.
- 41:16Speaker 3: There are people that hate me and people who love me. Yeah,
- 41:19Speaker 3: my husband loves me. The rest of the world hates me.
- 41:21Speaker 2: There's a few out there that hate me too. Well.
- 41:24Speaker 3: We're not going to say her or his name. Daniel bolow.
- 41:28Speaker 3: We would never do that. Do you know something? One
- 41:34Speaker 3: day and I'm not going to say names because it's
- 41:37Speaker 3: not appropriate to call somebody out, but this person we
- 41:41Speaker 3: were talking about this person on the air when we
- 41:43Speaker 3: were talking about what an asshole this person was, and
- 41:46Speaker 3: Jed and I were shopping and this person that afternoon
- 41:51Speaker 3: was at the same place where we were shopping at
- 41:53Speaker 3: Wow and we're standing relatively next to me when this
- 41:58Speaker 3: person turned and looked in real life it was me
- 42:02Speaker 3: that had been on air out that morning.
- 42:05Speaker 2: You never told me this, Oh yeah.
- 42:07Speaker 3: And it was like two three weeks ago. And I
- 42:09Speaker 3: looked at the person and I was waiting patiently, patiently
- 42:14Speaker 3: for a comment. And I looked at Jed and I
- 42:16Speaker 3: said that's so and so, and He's like okay. And
- 42:20Speaker 3: so the person turned around and walked away quick quickly,
- 42:23Speaker 3: and I says, oh damn, cause I was like.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Are you ready to go? Let's do that here right
- 42:27Speaker 2: now in public? But no, that person ran, why didn't
- 42:31Speaker 2: you call me you? No? Nope, because I can I
- 42:34Speaker 2: could handle it. I was ready.
- 42:36Speaker 3: I was like, oh, I was waiting for that person
- 42:38Speaker 3: to say, well, you shouldn't have said this about it.
- 42:40Speaker 3: I said, wait, wait, wait, we are we doing this here.
- 42:42Speaker 2: In the middle of the aisle. Let's do it. We
- 42:45Speaker 2: are going to be eating well to go here shortly
- 42:49Speaker 2: this morning, I only had a.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Little sip of this shit, and I'm already fucking wired
- 42:54Speaker 3: for sound.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Uh. Here we go, let's get uh, let's get the
- 42:59Speaker 2: look on face. Here, let's zoom in the camera. President
- 43:04Speaker 2: Donald Trump's plan to freeze all federal aid has run
- 43:07Speaker 2: into its first challenge yep, with the US Just Recort
- 43:10Speaker 2: temporarily blocking the order. The White House Budget Office ordered
- 43:14Speaker 2: the freeze on federal grants and loans to target democratic
- 43:19Speaker 2: initiatives that address migration or immigration, foreign aid, climate, DEI,
- 43:27Speaker 2: and gender identity. According to this memo obtained by well
- 43:31Speaker 2: all the media, Yes, the order could have potentially impacted
- 43:35Speaker 2: hundreds of billions of dollars in government spending and halted
- 43:38Speaker 2: public programs that affect millions of Americans. It also marked
- 43:42Speaker 2: the latest move by the Trump administration to exert control
- 43:47Speaker 2: over federal funding, even that which has already been allocated
- 43:51Speaker 2: by Congress. Yep.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Yeah, And I know Vermonters and our government and here
- 44:00Speaker 3: and Vermona working scattering all over the place to find
- 44:04Speaker 3: as much information as how that's going to affect us,
- 44:08Speaker 3: because it could affect us. And I think the freeze
- 44:14Speaker 3: is only into And I could be wrong, so don't
- 44:16Speaker 3: quote me, but I think the freeze is only until
- 44:18Speaker 3: February second. That's that's the judge called for the freeze.
- 44:24Speaker 3: I guess for more investigation. I could be wrong. I
- 44:28Speaker 3: think as a February second.
- 44:29Speaker 2: The freeze would be lifted. About something else happened. How
- 44:33Speaker 2: about this, you said, February second? Yes, all right, how
- 44:37Speaker 2: about this? Google is complying with President Trump's executive order
- 44:41Speaker 2: that renamed the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Very soon the name change will appear on Google Maps. Yep.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Google is also going to change the name of Denali,
- 44:54Speaker 2: the nation's high speak, back to Mount McKinley.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I mean Trump wants to change all the
- 45:05Speaker 3: what is there, all the air force bases or whatever,
- 45:07Speaker 3: back to Confederate names. You know, this is the priority
- 45:14Speaker 3: in our country. Okay, we get a brand new president
- 45:18Speaker 3: to make change, and the priority is to change names
- 45:21Speaker 3: of things instead of worrying about the Americans and what
- 45:25Speaker 3: we need.
- 45:25Speaker 2: I would love to see a an executive order a
- 45:30Speaker 2: priority that puts a shit ton of focus into the
- 45:38Speaker 2: lives of our veterans. That would be amazing all veterans, frankly,
- 45:45Speaker 2: active duty or not. M hm. That's what I'd love
- 45:48Speaker 2: to see. Absolutely, I'm on that.
- 45:54Speaker 3: But again, like I said, he's doing things that he's
- 45:59Speaker 3: looking at the big picture of if we do this now,
- 46:01Speaker 3: then then we'll stake our claim and bah blah blah.
- 46:04Speaker 2: It's not like that.
- 46:05Speaker 3: I think right now we need to be worrying about
- 46:08Speaker 3: our citizens.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Yeah, the Trump administration is aiming for at least seventy
- 46:15Speaker 2: five arrests every day at each of the twenty five
- 46:22Speaker 2: ICE field offices nationwide. Yeah, seventy five each each per day,
- 46:29Speaker 2: per day. Yep. And there's seventy twenty five field offices. Yep.
- 46:39Speaker 2: I couldn't do that maps twenty five times seventy five.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Maybe Glen can.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Yeah, he'll whip out the calculator.
- 46:54Speaker 2: A thousand arrests on Tuesday, twelve hundred arrests on Monday. Uh,
- 47:05Speaker 2: the largest deportation operation in history, in the history of
- 47:11Speaker 2: our country.
- 47:12Speaker 3: Well, that's what the that's what the people wanted, that's
- 47:14Speaker 3: what the people are getting. So when we don't have vegetables,
- 47:18Speaker 3: and we don't have other things because we have nobody
- 47:21Speaker 3: to work, because you know, we're entitled. Okay, this this
- 47:27Speaker 3: country is so entitled, especially the gen zs and all
- 47:30Speaker 3: these young kids are so fucking entitled that when you
- 47:34Speaker 3: say to them, they say, I need to get a
- 47:37Speaker 3: job because I want to make some money to get
- 47:39Speaker 3: a car. And you say, okay, well you know what
- 47:41Speaker 3: Aubuschan's is hiring a price chopper.
- 47:44Speaker 2: Oh, I'm not going to work there. Why you're in
- 47:48Speaker 2: fucking high school? What fucking skill do you have? And
- 47:52Speaker 2: not everyone is like that, but the majority point well taken.
- 47:58Speaker 3: Come on, everybody's so picky. You know, well, people are
- 48:01Speaker 3: out there holding signs because they can't find work, and
- 48:05Speaker 3: they're holding the signs on the corner where help want
- 48:08Speaker 3: it is across the street. And then of course we
- 48:11Speaker 3: get the welg. You have to understand they're homeless. So
- 48:14Speaker 3: if they don't have an address, they can't get a job.
- 48:18Speaker 3: You know what, Go up to the mcfallen building, get
- 48:21Speaker 3: their address, tell them you're going to use that as
- 48:23Speaker 3: a fucking address and put that down on your application,
- 48:27Speaker 3: because an application over a price chop and they're not
- 48:30Speaker 3: gonna check your address. Come on, and you young kids,
- 48:35Speaker 3: you want to work to buy a coffee yourself? Or
- 48:37Speaker 3: do you want to just sit at home fucking play
- 48:39Speaker 3: on your PlayStation and wait for mommy and.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Daddy to buy you a car because you're entitled. Chuck says,
- 48:46Speaker 2: we treat the elderly and veterans like crap. It's disgusting.
- 48:52Speaker 2: Animals don't even treat their elderly like this. And children yep, yeah,
- 48:57Speaker 2: children too. Yeah.
- 48:59Speaker 3: Yeah, you have a child and then you abuse it
- 49:02Speaker 3: or you or you neglect it. My god, why'd you
- 49:04Speaker 3: have a child for? Come on, Chuck wants to meet you.
- 49:10Speaker 2: I think we should.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Set up something down the road j D where some
- 49:13Speaker 3: of our faithful listeners get to meet us as they
- 49:16Speaker 3: get together. We should talk about that sometimes.
- 49:18Speaker 2: You want to do that. I would love to do that.
- 49:20Speaker 2: I would love to do that too.
- 49:22Speaker 3: What our faithful listeners love to come for a meet
- 49:25Speaker 3: and greet with you know, some snacks or whatever for
- 49:30Speaker 3: an hour or two so they can meet right, they
- 49:32Speaker 3: can meet me.
- 49:33Speaker 2: I would love to meet Constance. I would love to
- 49:36Speaker 2: meet Chuck for the first time. I would love to meet.
- 49:39Speaker 3: Surely, uh you got to get Glenn here. Glenn is
- 49:45Speaker 3: I mean, and I'll wear blue Glen, I promise. If
- 49:48Speaker 3: Glenn's not coming, it's not happening. No, it's off. Yeah, okay, done, done, done.
- 49:55Speaker 3: And Dwayne, Dwayne, we got to get Dwayne here and
- 49:59Speaker 3: and Rex. Well, Rex will be here, of course you would. So,
- 50:03Speaker 3: I mean, then everybody can meet Paul, they can meet Rex,
- 50:07Speaker 3: they can meet me, they can see where we're working out,
- 50:10Speaker 3: and they can look at this gorgeous couch that we
- 50:13Speaker 3: picked up in the middle of the fucking winter.
- 50:16Speaker 2: They could even have a look at my beautiful, beautiful mug.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Oh, we'll have some properg's source here.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Oh yeah, why don't you do that?
- 50:30Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll have some of that stuff here so that
- 50:33Speaker 3: they can all enjoy.
- 50:35Speaker 2: Did you hear any of the confirmation hearings with Robert F.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Kennedy struggle to answer questions about how he'd reform Medicaid
- 50:44Speaker 2: and medicare.
- 50:46Speaker 3: Anti vas unbelievable. Yeah, he should stop all the vaccines.
- 50:53Speaker 3: I think that's a great idea, because then what's going
- 50:55Speaker 3: to happen. All those diseases will come back.
- 50:57Speaker 2: That's an intelligent move.
- 51:03Speaker 3: Oh, that's what happens when you put somebody who has
- 51:05Speaker 3: no experience listen.
- 51:10Speaker 2: I know, I'm well aware that I don't look very
- 51:14Speaker 2: good in the morning. You've made that very clear to me.
- 51:19Speaker 2: But Robert F. Kennedy looked like a horseshit yesterday. You think, Bob,
- 51:26Speaker 2: if you're listen in this morning, please get a stylist.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Get a stylist. But also please don't take this personally. Bob.
- 51:33Speaker 2: I'm just saying flat out, you did not look.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Good, period period, end of sentence.
- 51:40Speaker 2: I'm not saying that I do look good, right, but
- 51:43Speaker 2: I'm saying you also looked right equally as bad as
- 51:47Speaker 2: I do, if not worse.
- 51:52Speaker 3: And he'll get confirmed, just like that idiot got confirmed.
- 51:56Speaker 3: I mean, come on, Oh, we need change, change with
- 52:00Speaker 3: people that don't have experience, or do we need change
- 52:03Speaker 3: with people who have experience?
- 52:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's the question. The government healthcare programs used
- 52:11Speaker 2: by millions of disabled and four Americans. I wonder, wonder
- 52:17Speaker 2: what's going to happen.
- 52:19Speaker 3: I people are nervous because things are happening.
- 52:22Speaker 2: You know.
- 52:23Speaker 3: I had somebody tell me or not tell me. But
- 52:25Speaker 3: it was a conversation I was listening to and I
- 52:27Speaker 3: had to bite my tongue because they were saying, oh,
- 52:30Speaker 3: you know, Trump's just a lot of talk and things
- 52:33Speaker 3: aren't going to really you watch what have he's And
- 52:35Speaker 3: I'm like, do they not realize because they say, well,
- 52:38Speaker 3: last time he was in for four years, he didn't
- 52:40Speaker 3: really do that much damage, which I of course rolled
- 52:43Speaker 3: my eyes, but I was like, last time he was
- 52:46Speaker 3: fighting different branches of government that were on the opposite side,
- 52:52Speaker 3: so that there was you know, things could be controlled.
- 52:56Speaker 3: Now he is the control of all the branches. You know,
- 52:59Speaker 3: he's got the military, he's got the executive brands, he's
- 53:01Speaker 3: got the judicial, he's got the House, he's got the Senate.
- 53:04Speaker 3: I mean, nobody can stop them, but everybody. Again, everybody's
- 53:11Speaker 3: entitled to their opinion, even if their opinion is idiotic
- 53:15Speaker 3: and uneducated. And these people that are saying this that
- 53:19Speaker 3: I heard this conversation are people that swear I don't
- 53:23Speaker 3: watch the news because I don't want to get upset,
- 53:25Speaker 3: so I don't watch it at all. I don't know
- 53:27Speaker 3: what's going on. Well, if you don't know what's going on,
- 53:29Speaker 3: how can you say that that it's not going to
- 53:31Speaker 3: hurt us? Educate yourself, watch the news, watch different newses.
- 53:36Speaker 3: Don't just watch one, right, Okay, don't watch CNN because
- 53:40Speaker 3: they have opinions. Don't watch ABC, and don't watch Fox
- 53:44Speaker 3: and take them for every word.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Well no, I think what you're saying is do watch Fox,
- 53:49Speaker 2: but just watch other agencies. Well, you have to watch
- 53:52Speaker 2: them all.
- 53:52Speaker 3: You have to flip to different channels, watch different news,
- 53:55Speaker 3: read the papers, you know, pay attention, do your research, yes,
- 54:00Speaker 3: before you have an opinion. If you say I don't
- 54:03Speaker 3: read the papers, I don't watch the news because all
- 54:05Speaker 3: of it's just hype and it's all of this, Well,
- 54:08Speaker 3: if you don't watch or read, then shut the fuck
- 54:10Speaker 3: up because you don't get an opinion. Right, Okay, it's
- 54:13Speaker 3: like people who don't vote and then complain about the president.
- 54:16Speaker 2: If you didn't vote, shut up, you didn't, you don't
- 54:19Speaker 2: get an opinion.
- 54:24Speaker 3: Ah.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Harvey Weinstein begged to judge Wednesday to hold his me
- 54:33Speaker 2: Too retrial as soon as possible, telling the judge and
- 54:39Speaker 2: I quote here, I don't know how much longer I
- 54:42Speaker 2: can hold on. He's got cancer, he's got hard issues,
- 54:45Speaker 2: he's got some other conditions. He's at the scamped out
- 54:49Speaker 2: at New York's Rickers Island jail complex that was in
- 54:55Speaker 2: the news yesterday. Important I know.
- 55:04Speaker 3: Well, it's like this plane crash that happened this morning
- 55:06Speaker 3: that's so devastating. And they had a press conference and
- 55:11Speaker 3: they said all the different departments said everything they know
- 55:15Speaker 3: up until the press conference. Okay, so this is what
- 55:18Speaker 3: I know to date. And they all spoke, including the
- 55:22Speaker 3: asshole that's the secretary of Transportation now under Trump's tutelage.
- 55:28Speaker 3: They all had things to say, and they all said
- 55:30Speaker 3: what they had to say. Then they opened it up
- 55:32Speaker 3: to the press, and the press are asking questions about
- 55:36Speaker 3: things that they don't have the answers to yet, because
- 55:39Speaker 3: if they had the answer, they would have said it.
- 55:41Speaker 3: And they keep saying, we don't know yet, it's an
- 55:44Speaker 3: ongoing Well, but do you know if.
- 55:46Speaker 2: The pilot said we don't know yet.
- 55:49Speaker 3: It's like the news has to sensationalize everything. And then
- 55:53Speaker 3: they taught and then after the special report they cut
- 55:57Speaker 3: back to the show and they talked about it on
- 56:00Speaker 3: the show. Yeah, it's like, people, we know it was horrific,
- 56:04Speaker 3: we know people died, we know it's a sad situation,
- 56:07Speaker 3: and we know it's ongoing.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Can we move on to something else.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Sure, does it always have to be sensationalized as the
- 56:14Speaker 3: big thing of the day, right? You know, where's the
- 56:18Speaker 3: good news?
- 56:19Speaker 2: There's plenty of good news out there. You gotta dig
- 56:23Speaker 2: a little, you gotta dig, you gotta dig for it. Yes, Ah,
- 56:28Speaker 2: try watching Newsmax if you want the truth as it is.
- 56:32Speaker 2: I saw hold on it as it is. I saw
- 56:37Speaker 2: that Rex Thompson was on one of the groups and
- 56:41Speaker 2: was spewing lies about what President Trump was doing. People
- 56:44Speaker 2: like him really need to know what they're talking about
- 56:47Speaker 2: before they start spreading their lies. Well, Rex will be
- 56:51Speaker 2: in tomorrow morning.
- 56:52Speaker 3: I think you should save that post. I will discuss
- 56:55Speaker 3: it with Rex.
- 56:56Speaker 2: I will. Like I said, I said it what thirty
- 56:59Speaker 2: minutes ago, there's certain people that love Rex, the certain
- 57:02Speaker 2: people that hate Rex. Well, they should say.
- 57:04Speaker 3: But if they don't care for Rex, then they probably
- 57:07Speaker 3: don't care for me.
- 57:08Speaker 2: So it's okay because I'm in that.
- 57:13Speaker 3: I'm in that multi multi h letters organization. I'm in
- 57:20Speaker 3: the multi letters organization l G B, T Q, I
- 57:26Speaker 3: A two plus blah blah blah whatever all those other
- 57:30Speaker 3: letters are. So they must not like me either. I'm
- 57:34Speaker 3: okay with that too.
- 57:37Speaker 2: Like I said, cancel me. I'm over it. Yeah, And
- 57:39Speaker 2: like you know, Rex was in the area yesterday and said,
- 57:43Speaker 2: you know you had you had a good point that
- 57:46Speaker 2: we all just need to realize that it's okay to
- 57:49Speaker 2: not get along. Yeah. Like he said yesterday, he's like,
- 57:53Speaker 2: you and I don't agree on a lot of stuff,
- 57:57Speaker 2: even you and I. Yeah, but we're still good friends. Right. Well,
- 58:03Speaker 2: did I tell you?
- 58:03Speaker 3: I don't know if I mentioned this last week, but
- 58:06Speaker 3: I was walking down the street. Oh no, I was
- 58:08Speaker 3: in at the hospital and I was coming out of
- 58:11Speaker 3: the hospital and a gentleman was coming in and he
- 58:15Speaker 3: looked at me, and I looked at him, so I
- 58:16Speaker 3: nodded and said hello, you know, being nice. Yeah, And
- 58:20Speaker 3: I passed him and he turned around. He says, do
- 58:22Speaker 3: I know you? And I said no. He says, what'd
- 58:25Speaker 3: you say hello for? I says, I'm sorry, I was
- 58:27Speaker 3: trying to be nice. Fuck off?
- 58:29Speaker 2: And I walked away. It's like I said hello, and
- 58:33Speaker 2: he's like, then, why did you say hello to me?
- 58:35Speaker 2: Fuck off? I was trying to be nice. Yes.
- 58:40Speaker 3: I came home and I told my husband. I says,
- 58:41Speaker 3: my god, I was being nice for once, and the
- 58:45Speaker 3: person got upset with me. I guess you can only
- 58:48Speaker 3: do that at Christmas time. That's the only time you
- 58:50Speaker 3: can say hello to somebody and be nice.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Chuck's coming up with the quotes this morning. He says, so,
- 58:57Speaker 2: why can't we all just get along? Does anybody remember
- 59:00Speaker 2: that quote? Yep? Or Am I too old?
- 59:02Speaker 1: No?
- 59:03Speaker 2: I remember? Well I'm too old Rodney King? Yeah, why
- 59:09Speaker 2: can't we just all get along? Yeah, here's the thing.
- 59:13Speaker 2: We're not always going to get along, but it's you know,
- 59:17Speaker 2: there's a there's a line when we we cannot get along,
- 59:23Speaker 2: but there's a line. Don't cross the line into disrespect.
- 59:26Speaker 3: Yes, disrespect and violence does not solve issues, right, Okay,
- 59:31Speaker 3: that's that's very true. And you know what, we don't
- 59:34Speaker 3: or I don't always get along with my husband. Yeah,
- 59:36Speaker 3: we've been together in the twenty nine years and there
- 59:39Speaker 3: are times I don't get along with him. Yeah, but
- 59:43Speaker 3: there's a respect that you know what, I don't agree
- 59:46Speaker 3: with you and you don't agree with me. So we're
- 59:48Speaker 3: going to agree to disagree and let's move the fuck
- 59:50Speaker 3: on before this gets ugly.
- 59:52Speaker 2: Teresa Youngblood, the woman who was involved in the shooting
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: the fatal shooting of the US border Patrol agent here
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: in front of yes faces two weapons charges with the
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: death of this forty four year old Border patrol agent,
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: David Miland. And I guess from what I understand, she's
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: recovering from her injuries that she sustained in this and
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: she's still alive. I can only wonder how long that's
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: going to be dragged out in the courts.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: Yep, you are very passionate about that when the news,
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: when you brought it up in the news the other day, Yeah,
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: you were. You were pretty fucking hot. I didn't touch it.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: I just I sat there and just watched you runt.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: There's part of me that just wants to move away
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: from that story because I have I would move away.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: I have suggestions for the best way to handle her.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Yeah mm hm, And I should probably move refrain from
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: expressing those suggestions. Death penalty? Is that what you're saying?
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Death penalty? Did I say that? Let's see all Yeah, Oh,
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: I see that story. Ouch might stay away from that
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: one too, Let's see. Oh. Elon Musk says said yesterday
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: that SpaceX is going to bring home two star Liner
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: astronauts who have been on the International Space Station for
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: a long time. Longer than expected.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: Longer than expected. What are they like six months? Eight
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: months out?
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Like eight plus? Yeah, it might even be a year.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: I mean NASA said they announced those plans months ago. Yeah. Well,
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: you know, Elon's got to put his finger on everything
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: because he thinks he knows it all for such an
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: intelligent man.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: He's so such an idiot because he's such an intelligent man.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: And there you go, Okay, you don't have to finish college,
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: but you're smart. And then you get someone like this
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: man who's smart as a whip and he's an idiot.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: So we have this massive religious festival in India that
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: turned deadly after a crowd crush killed at least fourteen people.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: This is a religious festival, yep. That it being religious
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: has nothing to do with the fact fact too many
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: people tens of millions. Yeah, and that's it. You know.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: It's the same thing that happened the concerts at mash Pits,
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: all that stuff, you know, I mean.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Usually had people they went to bathe in a river,
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: a sacred river part of this festival, and a barrier
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: near the river broke and just throngs of people were
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: walking toward the river bank to take their Holy Dip
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: in the Indian city and you know this is how
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: something like this could happen. Well, very sad, but still
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: I mean big crowds like that, tens of millions is
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: going to cause problems or Chuck and I going to
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: go to the ACD ACDC concert. Will there be one
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: hundred thousand people there? Probably, but not tens of millions
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: all trying to get in the same river. When do
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: I go to the ACDC concert? You weren't invited. I'll
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: go with Jed. So you're a fan though? Oh love
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: ac DC, yep, definitely love that. Top five favorite bands,
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: top ten.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: Top ten. Maybe Rush is my favorite. Rush Rush is
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: my number one band.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: Can't get enough.
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: I love them them, saw them when, Yes, I saw
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: them when they were at Fire Island, Jones.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: Beach on on Long Island.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Yeah, they have a big well, I don't know if
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: they still have a they have a big theater where
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: they do concerts. Billy Joel does concerts there. I've seen
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: him there, and.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Yeah, Rush did it. And just those guys Tom Sawyer,
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: I I know, yeah, those guys Getty Lee. It just
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: gives me goosebumps to hear how uh, how tight they are. Yeah, Yeah,
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: that's how syncopated they are. It's unbelievable. Syncopated. Sound like
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: a machine, don't they Yes, they sound like a computer.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: They are.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: They are very succinct in what they do. And I
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: just have always enjoyed rush.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Asian communities around the world are ringing in the lunar
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: New Year and the beginning of the Year of the Snake.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: It's a fifteen day festival. Millions of people are gonna
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: take part in this Cherish tradition and you know, luck
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: enhancing activities of eating sneak and playing with snakes.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: And I love snakes, you do, Oh god, yes, I've
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: When we're in Vegas, I owned a bull python and
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: that sucker was longer than me, I mean, and I'd
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: wear it around my neck and stuff. And I when
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: I was here in not Vermont, but in New York,
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: I had a Florida King snake from a baby. It
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: was tiny, and I'd put it in my pocket and
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: go out to the store. And then eventually it got
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: to a length that I couldn't take it with me,
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: but I'd leave it out to walk around.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Here's here's an example of what we're we're talking about here,
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: the fact that we are friends and have been friends
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: for so long. I absolutely despise snakes. I hate snakes.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I hate the word snake. If I see a snake,
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: it's kill or be killed.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: No.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: I mean it's like, if I see a little, you know,
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: four inch grass snake slithering through the grass, I'm running
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: from my life. And if my child, if Lily is
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: in the path of that snake, save yourself. Lily should
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: probably pick it up and play with it. She has.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: She pulled one out of the river one day and
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: I was like, Ran, I mean, if it's a python
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: or a constrictor and it's getting around Lily's neck, that's
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: up to hurt him. You on your own, I'm out
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: of there.
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: Love only goes so far. And that's the line. My
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: son wanted to get me a snake for Christmas, and
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: he did a lot of research and stuff. But the
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: one that I wanted, I want to Florida King, and
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: the one that I wanted it was none.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: Around at the time.
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: I have seen some since then actually on sale and
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: I've been entertaining.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: It, but yeah, not right now. Osaka, Japan. If you
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: are caught smoking this is a new ordinance. This got it? Uh,
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: there's a new city wide ban on cigarettes and vapes.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: If you're you're caught. It's a thousand yen, which is
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: about six bucks American. Right. They're trying to get ready
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: for the the World Expo that they're going to be
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: hosting later this year. So that's it six bucks. Wow.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: I can't afford to smoke, dare I just don't smoke,
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: But that'd be funny. Uh, should we get into.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Some uh what we need to yell to go? Yeah?
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Close out our morning here? Oh hell yeah. So a
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: couple of weeks ago, I thought this was a joke,
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: and I quickly learned that it's not a joke. Velveda
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: and if you look at your camera you'll see it
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: right here. Velveta has come out with vell to Go.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: It's a fucking odd to keep us great faith. It's
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: like you're trying to do an ad for for what
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: the fuck?
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: I'm trying, all right, go on as hard as I can.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Now comes the glasses. I get the glasses, and I'm
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: bringing the glasses out just because I want to. I
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: want to see the ingredients here. Glasses from optical Expressions.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: By the way, very nice Blanchard Block, fourth floor. Very nice, Yes, didn't.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: We'll do a nice job putting these together.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: Yeah, if they would take my insurance, i'd be there,
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: but I have to go elsewhere.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Love optical expressions. Let's see way, canola oil, milk, cheese, culture, salt, enzymes,
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: protein concentrate. Let's see what else. Sodium phosphate, there's a
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: good one. I think that's I think that's in everything, well,
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: in everything here in America, and I think it's like
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: banned in Europe, sodium phosphate. Let's see lactic acid, which
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: we all need more of that, right, right, well, lactic
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: acid in our life. Have you seen me get off
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: the couch and just from being constipated or the hemorrhoids? No,
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: that's the lack acid. Uh, sodium algutinate. I know I'm
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: not pronouncing these right. Sorbic acid as a preservative. Wait
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: a second, there's preservatives in this. Yeah, you didn't tell
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: me that. I didn't know. I can't eat preservatives. Oh no,
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: you must. Uh ol sin fari whatever that is, goosn
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: tighte something something I can't even pronounce it. Extract milk fat,
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: blah blah blah, natural flavor, natural flavor natural. Did you
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: say natural?
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: They said natural?
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: All right, then I'm then it's good. Then it's good. Yeah,
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: it makes the lactic acid worth eating. Yeah. If it's
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: natural natural, then that cancels out the preserve it. Okay,
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: then I'll eat it. Okay. If you said it, did
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: you say natural? It said natural natural flavor. Yeah, then
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: I'm gonna eat it. Warning contains milk. Duh. All right,
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: So I thought this was a joke. Velvet has come
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: out with us because let's just say it like it is.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: There are a lot of people now. I have a
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: friend who lives down south cannot he's a Vermonter, cannot
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: understand how people down there are eating the fake syrup
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: shit high fruit corn syrup, horseshit, putting it on their pancakes.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: His wife carries around a little nipper of maple syrup.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: So if they go into a diner, whatever they order,
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: they want the real stuff. There's stuff, so they carry
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: it around. I've met a guy at a restaurant, I'm
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: not joking, just a couple of weeks ago, who had
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: his own little bottle of hot sauce. Uh huh, this
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: is my hot sauce. This is what I this is
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: what I like on my eggs or whatever it is. Right,
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: we are like that. Now we want what we want, yep,
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: we want what we know. We want what we're comfortable with.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: And can you imagine seriously being at a restaurant somewhere
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: down south, you order pancakes and you forgot Oh my god,
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: I'm not going to get real maple syrup. How devastating
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: would you be? I mean, that's that's an emergency situation.
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a that's just pay the bill and leave.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: That's Pam, pay the bill and leave. I'm not trying
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: to like instill fear mongering here, but that's bad. That's
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: a bad situation.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: Well, now, could you imagine the same scenario where you're
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: going to a friend's house for a game and you
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: have chips and they have guacamole and the but where's
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: the saucer? But where's the caso? Where's the cheese dip?
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: Now you're fucking ready because in your back pocket is
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: velve to Go war that's warmed from your ass that
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: you now squeeze on your chips with a little bit
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: of SUSA, and you've got your own homemade Crayso.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Who would have who would have thrown.
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Jeda makes all his craysos with Belvido. So
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: when I gave him this, he was like, um, he
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: loved it.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Chuck is Is is leaving us just as I'm getting
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: ready to do the velveto and Stein's got a job
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: and that's important. Oh look at that?
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: Show them how that just squeezed on there?
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: So yummy?
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: Like gosh, I wish I could eat dairy not it's beautiful. Now,
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: now this is your first time trying it, right, you
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: haven't tried it yet.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: This will bind up, you'll get.
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: Yeah, you got a virgin mouth that's just being penetrated
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: with cheese. It's good, right, And it's only a limited
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: time at Walmart, and you can only get it by
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: ordering it through warmont So I have the Walmont app
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: because you know, I'm a member of the Walmart app program.
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: So I just go online order it and they mail
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: it to me free free of charge. And I think
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: a box is like two bucks, three bucks and you
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: get four packets in it.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: It says right on the box, enjoy irresponsibly.
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: Well, we might have to put that to the to
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: the test, because we're gonna be We're gonna be surviving soon.
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: We're going to be survivalists.
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: I can't wait. What do we doing that next week?
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: Right sometime, and then we'll put the video on.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: Yeah, people to watch please, Yeah, we can live off
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: of this. Ye.
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: Well there you govell to gold this way.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: If you're hiking Camel's Hump or whatever, get to the top,
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: you want some velvida cheese.
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: Which is the first thing you want when you get
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: to the top. Of course, it's like, you know, I
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: just climb Mount Everest.
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: I need Velvita cheese right now, right now.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: So they reach into their pants where that's nice and
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: warm and boila.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: And if you pass a little bit of gas, even warmer.
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my god, even warmer.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: The more gas, the better the cheese. Constance is begging
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: us to stop.
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: Well, to go the new flavor in American food.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: It's real. It's real. People go on, warm on what
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: do you mean Part
