- 0:05Speaker 2: For Good World. Grandson doesn't call it dar dar anymore.
- 0:09Speaker 2: He calls it Darlin.
- 0:10Speaker 1: It'll always be dar Darta us.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Jo, Yes, it will. Country ninety nine one wq I K.
- 0:15Speaker 2: He's Chase Matthew. We are the Big Show. That's Chumley
- 0:18Speaker 2: over there, Hey, Chum Hi.
- 0:19Speaker 3: And Megan has our Music City Minute this morning.
- 0:23Speaker 4: Yes, Thomas Rhett has finally got himself a star on
- 0:27Speaker 4: the Music City Walk of Fame, which is kind of cool.
- 0:30Speaker 2: What does it take He's only had twenty one number
- 0:33Speaker 2: one hit.
- 0:33Speaker 4: I want to know how much they have to pay
- 0:35Speaker 4: to get one of those stars on it, Like.
- 0:36Speaker 1: In Hollywood they have to pay for it? Is it
- 0:38Speaker 1: the same?
- 0:39Speaker 2: Probably so? And then you got to get nominated and
- 0:41Speaker 2: it's kind of like a boys club or it's a
- 0:44Speaker 2: click of some sort.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Yeah, you think Thomas Rhett would kind of be pushed
- 0:49Speaker 4: through that a lot earlier. But it was cool.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Can't you fast track Thomas Rhett?
- 0:54Speaker 4: Yeah, Jordan Davis he introduced him. So it was really
- 0:57Speaker 4: cool to see some of the guys we love up
- 0:59Speaker 4: there getting recognized. And Megan Morony, she's got a new
- 1:02Speaker 4: perfume out.
- 1:04Speaker 1: It's called calliope.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Can ask a question, Johnny Shovel, I think this is
- 1:09Speaker 4: the funniest thing in the world.
- 1:10Speaker 2: What is a calliope? I find out Calliopey was a
- 1:14Speaker 2: Greek mythology. Is like one of the muses. But then
- 1:17Speaker 2: I've also always thought it was like a musical instrument.
- 1:21Speaker 4: I mean, it was a character in Gray's Anatomy. I guess,
- 1:23Speaker 4: so that's where my mind goes. I bet Megan's does too,
- 1:26Speaker 4: get all three.
- 1:27Speaker 3: I guess it fits a musical instrument that you're gonna
- 1:30Speaker 3: smell like. It's better than a banjo. I mean, you
- 1:32Speaker 3: know what I mean. I would rather smell like a I.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Need to get some of this and give you guys
- 1:37Speaker 4: a little sprits to see what we think, because it
- 1:40Speaker 4: looks really cute. It's like a heart on its side.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Is the bottle with like these in its pink? Of course,
- 1:46Speaker 4: there are these silver like cracks in it. It's supposed
- 1:49Speaker 4: to smell kind of flowery. There's like ten different flowers
- 1:52Speaker 4: all this way.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Right, And I love that. I always love what these
- 1:55Speaker 2: new perfumes smell like. With a hint of oak, you
- 1:57Speaker 2: know those kinds of things.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Yeah, this one says warm mineral musk, okay, because I
- 2:03Speaker 4: want to spell musky.
- 2:04Speaker 1: But it kind of.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Looks to me like an old Victoria's Secret pink dream sprits.
- 2:11Speaker 4: So if you're a perfume person, we're gonna have to
- 2:13Speaker 4: all get together and.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Try this out. Smell like Meghan Maroney. There you go,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I'm a different Megan and that's your music city.
- 2:18Speaker 2: But it WQIK. Well. Two people who wouldn't have a
- 2:21Speaker 2: problem with the price tag of a wedding would be
- 2:23Speaker 2: these two. But it's a price tag that we have.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Now are we guessing on this job?
- 2:27Speaker 3: No, we have the Uh well that's what they think
- 2:30Speaker 3: it costs.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Okay, it's the estimated cost.
- 2:31Speaker 3: So the estimated cost of Taylor Swift Travis Kelsey's wedding
- 2:34Speaker 3: Madison Square Garden closed down parts of downtown New York City,
- 2:39Speaker 3: the biggest city in the world. Thirty thousand dollars. Oh,
- 2:43Speaker 3: I mean thirty million dollars.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Oh okay. I was like I had to add.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Some zeros there. My apologies. I'm really bad at mass Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I was about to say just this, my wife does
- 2:53Speaker 3: thirty million dollars and to put that in perspective, that's
- 2:56Speaker 3: a very expensive wedding, but not as expensive as f
- 3:00Speaker 3: Bezos at fifty five million. So wow, Yeah, I thought
- 3:04Speaker 3: they'd step it up a little more. I've a disappointed
- 3:07Speaker 3: the Battle of the billionaire weddings exactly.
- 3:09Speaker 1: That's crazy talk.
- 3:10Speaker 4: And you know, a lot of people have been wondering
- 3:14Speaker 4: what actually was going on because what we've seen from
- 3:16Speaker 4: the public, you know you, has been really odd, like
- 3:22Speaker 4: the flowers that people have posted that are all ratty
- 3:25Speaker 4: and broken down, and everyone's like that, surely that's not
- 3:28Speaker 4: what they had.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Maybe she's kept her own bouquet.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Like I heard they built a castle inside Madison Square
- 3:35Speaker 3: Garden for the wedding.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I heard that too. I mean that'd be cool.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Everybody was baptized in the tears of the poor.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Evidently that's what she does.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll do that.
- 3:46Speaker 2: At for a Country ninety nine to one WQIK Big
- 3:51Speaker 2: Show with Chelmley, John, Megan and Froggy.
- 3:53Speaker 3: It is so good to be with you because it
- 3:54Speaker 3: is Friday. She hadn't live in Florida. You're not drinking
- 3:57Speaker 3: warm water today, it's way too hot. Sorry, Ella, we're
- 4:00Speaker 3: two lafellows in Meghan but no, yeah, no, to see where.
- 4:04Speaker 3: They found a four thousand year old tablet in the
- 4:08Speaker 3: Mesopotamian city of Lars. If you've ever vacation there, wonderful place.
- 4:12Speaker 3: But they read this tablet and it's a boy way
- 4:15Speaker 3: at school. He used a stylus in a slab of
- 4:19Speaker 3: wet clay. That's what made this tablet, and he wrote
- 4:22Speaker 3: on there. He was telling his mother that her homemade
- 4:24Speaker 3: clothes weren't good enough.
- 4:26Speaker 1: May four thousand years ago.
- 4:27Speaker 3: It's the first documented case of whining, isn't that crazy?
- 4:31Speaker 3: Kids have been whining for four thousand years at least documented.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Yeah, so his mother in ancient times is slaving away
- 4:38Speaker 4: using I'm sure they didn't have like needles, like a
- 4:40Speaker 4: bone tooth or something, and she's trying to sell this together.
- 4:44Speaker 1: It wasn't good enough.
- 4:45Speaker 3: He wanted nikes, they say, Reading this tablet feels less
- 4:49Speaker 3: like studying an ancient artifact and more like scrolling through
- 4:52Speaker 3: a teenager's group chat, which I thought was hilarious.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Wqik Froggy, give us some of that feel good need
- 5:00Speaker 4: on our Friday.
- 5:04Speaker 5: All right, joll We loved going on field trips when
- 5:06Speaker 5: we were in school, and you know, when a school
- 5:08Speaker 5: field trip was canceled, Man, it made you sad. But
- 5:10Speaker 5: this one school resource officer made sure that the kids
- 5:14Speaker 5: he was there for are not going to miss out.
- 5:17Speaker 5: Instead of saying maybe next year, he quietly paid to
- 5:20Speaker 5: rent an entire movie theater with his own money, giving
- 5:24Speaker 5: more than one hundred students a day they're never going
- 5:26Speaker 5: to forget. For many of those kids, it was their
- 5:28Speaker 5: very first trip to a movie theater. The officer never
- 5:31Speaker 5: asked for attention, just wanted to see the smiles on
- 5:34Speaker 5: the kids' faces. Sometimes the biggest heros, they aren't looking
- 5:38Speaker 5: for applause.
- 5:39Speaker 2: They just are looking for a way to help all
- 5:41Speaker 2: the people out.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Kudos to this officer and those kids for a day.
- 5:45Speaker 2: They're never going to forget. If you have a suggestion
- 5:47Speaker 2: for a feel good story for Froggy, you can email
- 5:49Speaker 2: him Froggy at iHeartMedia dot com.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I like slurpees.
- 5:53Speaker 2: You do. It's the sixtieth anniversary at the Slurpee this year.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Oh wow, there you go.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Do you guys ever do the suicide where you get
- 5:59Speaker 3: all the different flavor and the same thing.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Of course, we called it a sou suicide. That's what
- 6:03Speaker 2: we called it.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Jus too. Yeah, what's going on?
- 6:06Speaker 2: No matter where you grew up, there was a suicide
- 6:08Speaker 2: of seven eleven The Big Show with Tomley, John Meghan
- 6:11Speaker 2: and Froggy When Country ninety nine one WQIK, let's go
- 6:14Speaker 2: ahead and get callers nine to ten right now at

- 6:22Speaker 2: luck from Country ninety nine one WQIK.
- 6:25Speaker 3: And there's an internet beef bruin, this one between Burger
- 6:28Speaker 3: King and Chili's. So there was an ex user at
- 6:32Speaker 3: Yellow Flash Guy. He posted a photo of a menu
- 6:35Speaker 3: showing what appeared to be a bacon Bacon King sandwich
- 6:38Speaker 3: meal including fries and a drink. Price did eighteen dollars
- 6:42Speaker 3: nineteen cents at one Burger King location. And why should
- 6:47Speaker 3: I get this when I could just go to a restaurant,
- 6:49Speaker 3: So Chili's responded, this is what we've been saying.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Why do y'all let fast food play?
- 6:55Speaker 2: You like this?
- 6:56Speaker 3: Big crispy chicken sandwich three for me with fries, bottomless
- 7:00Speaker 3: chips and salsa and unlimited drink for ten ninety nine
- 7:03Speaker 3: only at Chili's.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And for like I think it's two ninety nine or whatever.
- 7:07Speaker 4: You can upgrade the chips and salsa to the Dips trio,
- 7:10Speaker 4: so you get Queso salsa and I think gualk can
- 7:13Speaker 4: I just can?
- 7:14Speaker 3: I just tell you I love Chili's salsa so much
- 7:17Speaker 3: that I found a copycat recipe online so I could
- 7:20Speaker 3: eat them at home. But they make their own chips there.
- 7:22Speaker 3: They're real salty and christ I do like Chili's. I'll
- 7:26Speaker 3: go there and get one of their big beers and
- 7:28Speaker 3: just get the chips and salsa and I'm full off.
- 7:31Speaker 2: You go, You're good for dinner, man. Yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Those little shakers they have that you get with the
- 7:34Speaker 4: l Presidente Margarita.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Now we're talking. That's how our life gets. Yeah. We
- 7:38Speaker 1: found out that those shakers are two dollars. That's all
- 7:41Speaker 1: it costs.
- 7:42Speaker 4: You get one and you don't have to have the
- 7:43Speaker 4: one to use, like you get a clean, fresh one.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You can take it home.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Every time we go we go to try to get one,
- 7:48Speaker 4: they're always sold out because I guess the word.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Is getting out.
- 7:51Speaker 2: That is great. I love when restaurants get at war
- 7:53Speaker 2: on Twitter, like you know, who has great great Twitter presents.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Wendy's Yes, Windy has no problems down smack on Twitter.
- 8:01Speaker 1: That little Pippy long stalking looking girl. She is savage online.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Although where's the beef amen in your Jacksonville experience?
- 8:11Speaker 1: I don't recognize myself.
- 8:14Speaker 4: I mean I've been out in the field and training
- 8:16Speaker 4: exercises in the summer for like a week, sleeping outside, bugs.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Heat when you're in the army.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Yeah, yes, And I've never sweat this much in my life.
- 8:25Speaker 4: I walk outside and I feel like I don't want
- 8:28Speaker 4: anyone to see me.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Big show with Country ninety nine one WQIK. She's not
- 8:32Speaker 2: acclimated yet, Joey.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Now, it's another really hot one today, heat index one
- 8:36Speaker 3: hundred and twelve. It's going to be like ninety seven
- 8:38Speaker 3: degrees today, only a ten percent chance of showers.
- 8:41Speaker 2: She gonna let you know this isn't good for us either.
- 8:43Speaker 2: I don't want to go out in this mess either.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Okay, So I'm not on an island by myself.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Oh no, No, everybody's on that big island with you.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Yes, it seems like I look around and I don't
- 8:53Speaker 4: see other people wet and drenched like me. And I'm
- 8:57Speaker 4: starting to feel a little self conscious because I'm I'm
- 9:00Speaker 4: like dripping sweat down my legs.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Walk to the mailbox with me and you'll find wet
- 9:05Speaker 2: and drenched. I can't even walk to my mailbox and
- 9:07Speaker 2: back without.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Okay, we can share a sweat tap.
- 9:11Speaker 3: You know how up north? You know those people don't
- 9:13Speaker 3: go outside in January February. They're usually snowed in were
- 9:17Speaker 3: it's our winter. You know, here is here in Florida
- 9:20Speaker 3: in the summer. You just jumped from AC to a C.
- 9:23Speaker 3: You don't go outside, You hastily go outside.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Was tricked a little bit because y'all brought me here
- 9:29Speaker 4: last October and it was seventy five and sunny every day,
- 9:32Speaker 4: like roundhog Day.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I was like, November, this is cool. December it's nice.
- 9:38Speaker 1: And then you said, oh, just wait till August.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Let's play the pop quiz and get you some loan
- 9:41Speaker 2: Star tickets. Crystal, we start with you former President George W. Bush.
- 9:47Speaker 2: George W. Bush recently had a birthday. How old is
- 9:50Speaker 2: old w Crystal.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I'm going to say sixty five.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Courtney older or younger?
- 9:56Speaker 1: Older?
- 9:56Speaker 2: Yes, eighty. Oh, it's my guest.
- 10:01Speaker 4: In our minds will always look like he did in office, because.
- 10:05Speaker 2: He still kind of does. He has an age too poorly,
- 10:07Speaker 2: he looks all right, All right, Courtney gets to that point.
- 10:10Speaker 2: And Courtney, you get this question first. While we're talking
- 10:12Speaker 2: about French fries. What percentage of people admitted they at
- 10:16Speaker 2: least once ordered an extra serving of fries to eat
- 10:19Speaker 2: on the way home.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I'll save forty percent?
- 10:23Speaker 2: Crystal? Is that number higher or lower?
- 10:26Speaker 1: Higher?
- 10:27Speaker 2: It is? Makings over there, jacking her thumb up, going,
- 10:30Speaker 2: I gotta be a lot higher. It was a little
- 10:32Speaker 2: bit higher sixty percent, So good, good guess, Courtney. But
- 10:35Speaker 2: Crystal went in the right direction.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Still seems low. I think we've all done it.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Couldn't love French fries? Yeah, I think it was those
- 10:41Speaker 2: who admit to it. That was the thing.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I get some for my dogar she needs her own too.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Here we go, it's tiebreaker time. If you know the
- 10:48Speaker 2: answer to this question, shout your name. This is from
- 10:51Speaker 2: history dot com and this we're talking about French fries.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Where did French fries likely originate? According to History dot com,
- 10:59Speaker 2: was its or Belgium? Crystal Courtney came in first. Courtney
- 11:05Speaker 2: Belgium Belgium, is your answer, Well, they beat us in
- 11:08Speaker 2: soccer and they invented a French five for what the heck.
- 11:11Speaker 2: We gotta give them the props when they deserve them.
- 11:14Speaker 2: All right, Well, congratulations, you got a pair of tickets
- 11:16Speaker 2: for Lone Star.
- 11:18Speaker 1: All right, thank you.
- 11:19Speaker 2: WQYK with the big show on your Friday. And boy,
- 11:22Speaker 2: they weren't wasting any time. They finally got Adventure Landing
- 11:25Speaker 2: torn down and they're already building right now on the
- 11:28Speaker 2: new thing. Four hundred units of housing is going to
- 11:31Speaker 2: go there.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Yeah, drove by there the other day and saw it.
- 11:33Speaker 3: It was kind of sad, you know. I'm just I
- 11:35Speaker 3: like Adventure Landing when I was younger, and then I
- 11:38Speaker 3: had a kid and she kind of grew up going
- 11:40Speaker 3: there in the summer and now it's gone.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Speaking of kids, my kids were driving by there and
- 11:44Speaker 2: he's like, oh my gosh, that's it's gone. Now. He
- 11:46Speaker 2: goes Ella Langley and choosing Texas. Here are the people
- 11:50Speaker 2: she's up with as far as the pop Hot one
- 11:53Speaker 2: hundred pop charts history of the most weeks at number
- 11:57Speaker 2: one by a female artist. Here's who's in that air show.
- 12:00Speaker 2: He's with Whitney Houston Wow. I will always love you.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Mariah Carey and the cumulative of that Christmas song which
- 12:07Speaker 2: goes number one each year now for twenty weeks or whatever,
- 12:11Speaker 2: Brandy and Monica, and then another Mariah Carey song, Wow,
- 12:16Speaker 2: and that's it, and then Ella Langley. That's how crazy
- 12:19Speaker 2: it is right now.
- 12:21Speaker 1: She's our country queen.
- 12:22Speaker 4: Really, she's just absolutely gone to the top.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I love her.
- 12:27Speaker 3: And now I'm seeing girls everywhere with bangs. It's like
- 12:29Speaker 3: a thing.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Now. That's all it takes. Yeah, that's all it takes.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Yeah, the fringe bang cut.
- 12:33Speaker 4: It's become the haircut of the summer, which it was
- 12:36Speaker 4: trickling last year, but now it's the haircut of the summer.
- 12:39Speaker 4: And let me just say this, if you don't think
- 12:43Speaker 4: you look it on bangs, do not start taking the
- 12:45Speaker 4: scissors in your bathroom saying don't do it.
- 12:47Speaker 1: It's hot out here.
- 12:48Speaker 4: They will not look the same now as they will
- 12:50Speaker 4: at October.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Wait till October. Trust me, like a sheep dog, you
- 12:54Speaker 3: can see better.
- 12:56Speaker 4: That's true. That's true, that I can cut. You got
- 12:59Speaker 4: some spikes in the front. We could like put it down,
- 13:01Speaker 4: we could flatten it down.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Bad enough that you did that with whatever you did
- 13:05Speaker 2: when you did it with you gave us bangs online
- 13:08Speaker 2: on Instagram.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Oh yes, they made you made a.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Tell us yeah the bang filter. No, thank you.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I feel like I'm qualified to cut you guys's hair.
- 13:17Speaker 4: I'lla Langley cut my banks, so I think I could
- 13:19Speaker 4: cut yours.
- 13:20Speaker 2: You can cut mine hair.
- 13:23Speaker 3: No, dam I'm not touching. It's farber Tomorrow. Actually, Marian,
- 13:27Speaker 3: it's cutting my hair.
- 13:28Speaker 1: What does he charge you? It's like twenty two dollars
- 13:31Speaker 1: for a haircut. I'll charge a thirty.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Whoa, that's the deal. Yeah, somehow and an unlicensed, unprepared
- 13:38Speaker 2: person for.
- 13:39Speaker 1: The fact that I'm bad at math. I'll cut a
- 13:41Speaker 1: lot of hair. I'll cut a lot of hair in
- 13:42Speaker 1: the barracks.
- 13:43Speaker 4: I'll cut I've cut a lot of radio hair actually
- 13:46Speaker 4: in parking lot.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I might need to see the resume before I exceeded this.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Let's get you going here. Three things you need to
- 13:52Speaker 2: know Beside the fact that Megan's a good barber.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Downtown the Barnett Building, they're getting a cool new coffee
- 13:58Speaker 4: spot on the ground floor or it's called nineteen twenty
- 14:01Speaker 4: six Coffee co Have either of you guys had this
- 14:03Speaker 4: coffee before.
- 14:04Speaker 2: No, there's so.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Many coffee places gone up.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Now, yeah, I haven't had it either, but it looks
- 14:09Speaker 4: really cool. And they're trying to add this to try
- 14:14Speaker 4: to make more of a hangout era area, like you know,
- 14:16Speaker 4: where you could have coffee and be downtown have some fun.
- 14:20Speaker 2: As we're saying, they're trying to make downtown a thing,
- 14:22Speaker 2: and I think this time, for the first time it's
- 14:24Speaker 2: really sticking. Since everybody started fleeing down that's homeless shelter,
- 14:28Speaker 2: just throwing that out there.
- 14:31Speaker 4: We've got another new thing coming to the Jacksonville Airport.
- 14:35Speaker 4: There's a five points at General store that's going to
- 14:38Speaker 4: be set up in the new Concourse b at Jia,
- 14:42Speaker 4: So that's really exciting. It's part of that expansion. And
- 14:46Speaker 4: if you haven't gotten your lottery tickets this weekend, you
- 14:49Speaker 4: can try your luck at half a billion almost on
