• 0:55
SPEAKER_01: And you are all in for a very, very special show today.
• 0:59
SPEAKER_01: As I have with me a Diva that is a host on DivaZec Care.
• 1:06
SPEAKER_01: She has also submitted her story in our mother's, our daughter's book with Diva Zec Care that is soon to be released here in the first part of May.
• 1:17
SPEAKER_01: So I am just so overly excited to have with me Julie Anna Mello today.
• 1:23
SPEAKER_01: And I am going to let her introduce herself to our listeners and tell tell us a little bit about who she is.
• 1:31
SPEAKER_01: So, Julie Anna, I will let you introduce yourself to our listeners today.
• 1:41
SPEAKER_02: I like you said, my name is Juliana Mello.
• 1:44
SPEAKER_02: I live in Calgary, Alberta, and in my pre-cancer life, I worked for Alberta Health Services and after cancer decided that my life was meant to live in color and not just black and white.
• 1:59
SPEAKER_02: And so I left the corporate world to pursue my love of all things divine.
• 2:03
SPEAKER_02: And it is my great honor to be in the divas that care.
• 2:07
SPEAKER_02: I consider myself a spiritual wellness coach because after the cancer, I realized that life is a journey to heal and grow and learn and expand.
• 2:19
SPEAKER_02: And what I recognized early on is that the pathway to joy is through healing the heart, mind, body, spirit, soul.
• 2:27
SPEAKER_02: And I started my journey with a self-love focus, and it turned into many different facets.
• 2:36
SPEAKER_02: So I consider myself a spiritual wellness coach, angel advisor, speaker, and author.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_02: And so I'm so happy to be here with you today.
• 2:46
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, oh my.
• 2:47
SPEAKER_01: Am I ever excited to?
• 2:50
SPEAKER_01: Oh goodness, your intro was just absolutely beautiful.
• 2:54
SPEAKER_01: I love how you said you are living in color rather than just in black and white.
• 3:01
SPEAKER_01: Because that just I mean, how many of us are just going about our daily daily life, just living it like you said, in black and white.
• 3:10
SPEAKER_01: And just going through the motions, right?
• 3:13
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 3:14
SPEAKER_01: That's exactly how it is.
• 3:16
SPEAKER_01: So many of us are just going through the motions and not even seeing the vibrant colors and living in 'em that are all around us.
• 3:26
SPEAKER_01: Oh, that was absolutely beautiful.
• 3:28
SPEAKER_01: And to pursue all things divine.
• 3:31
SPEAKER_01: Oh, Julie, I am I'm so excited to read your story already in the book and you haven't even shared anything from the book.
• 3:39
SPEAKER_01: You just shared to me about what you who you are and oh, I just love it.
• 3:44
SPEAKER_01: That you touched my heart already, girl.
• 3:47
  SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
• 3:47
  SPEAKER_01: Thank you, sister.
• 3:48
  SPEAKER_01: I appreciate that.
• 3:50
SPEAKER_01: You are so very welcome.
• 3:52
SPEAKER_01: Well, on with that, what what inspired you to submit your story to our mothers, our daughters book with Diva Zet Care?
• 4:02
SPEAKER_02: Well, this is where some magic happened.
• 4:05
SPEAKER_02: Through another uh community here in Calgary, I met a beautiful woman at the Women Talk Convention and her name was Nadine McGill.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_02: And in February 22, she sent me the anthology submission in Facebook and the Divas at Care Anthology Submission Guide.
• 4:26
SPEAKER_02: And so I said to her, Oh, um, what do I do?
• 4:29
SPEAKER_02: And she said, just email them.
• 4:31
SPEAKER_02: So when I decide I'm gonna do something, I do it.
• 4:34
  SPEAKER_02: There is no waiting.
• 4:35
SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm that type that if I see something and I get that nudge yes, you're supposed to do this, I ooh, I'm getting all goosies.
• 4:43
  SPEAKER_02: Um, I do it.
• 4:44
SPEAKER_02: And so I reached out to Candace and I had my piece to her within a few days because my story is on m um my mother, my friend, and as I was telling you in my intro, I walked through stage three peritoneal cancer in 2011-2012, and I realized I needed to heal my life.
• 5:08
SPEAKER_02: And pre-cancer, I'd always had a dream to go to Oprah.
• 5:12
SPEAKER_02: And, you know, I I prayed to God, God, why haven't I been able to get a ticket to Oprah?
• 5:17
SPEAKER_02: I live in Calgary, and you know, back in the days when she was doing oh her show in Chicago, it was really hard to get tickets.
• 5:24
SPEAKER_02: Well, lo and behold, she was coming to Toronto, and my mom said, I will come with you.
• 5:31
SPEAKER_02: And so that was the first time my mom and I went on a trip together, and the whole um I guess theme of Oprah's show was forgiveness.
• 5:42
SPEAKER_02: Now, my mother's been this beacon of forgiveness my entire life, and I learned through this healing process that forgiveness is such a vital part of us healing our hearts and moving forward with ease and grace and letting go.
• 6:00
SPEAKER_02: And we forgive for us, not for the not for the other person, right?
• 6:05
  SPEAKER_02: Because we deserve it.
• 6:07
SPEAKER_02: And so my mother has been this lighthouse in my life, and to be able to share in this anthology a little bit about that story was truly i it it was something for posterity to honor my mum for the amazing light that she is in my life.
• 6:28
SPEAKER_01: Oh, that is just absolutely beautiful.
• 6:31
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love that.
• 6:32
SPEAKER_01: To just to let the world know what a shining light your mother has been for you and her her shining light of forgiveness.
• 6:41
SPEAKER_01: And like you said, it's not about forgiving for the other person, it's forgiving for our own self.
• 6:48
  SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
• 6:49
SPEAKER_02: And I think we get so hung up on you know, not forgiving because we're angry, and that's okay, we're humans.
• 6:57
SPEAKER_02: However, our spirit, our soul wants us to forgive so that we have peace to be able to move forward.
• 7:05
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 7:05
SPEAKER_01: Peace to move forward and see all the color in the world and live in that color rather than in the black and white.
• 7:14
SPEAKER_01: Oh, oh, what a beautiful inspiration.
• 7:16
SPEAKER_01: And when you said magic happens at the very beginning, when you said you were just kind of getting chilled all over, I just had a chill run through me when you said that magic happens.
• 7:25
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, oh my goodness, magic I got it again.
• 7:27
SPEAKER_01: Magic is happening right now.
• 7:30
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 7:30
SPEAKER_02: It's such a beautiful when women share their stories, they empower other women to recognize, hey, you know what, if she did it, I can do it too.
• 7:40
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 7:40
  SPEAKER_01: That is so true.
• 7:42
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, how beautiful.
• 7:43
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I just love that.
• 7:45
SPEAKER_01: And that you listened to me, you listened to your intuition that this is something I need to share with the world and Oh, wow, that is so beautiful, Juliana.
• 7:56
  SPEAKER_01: I just love that.
• 7:58
  SPEAKER_01: You are so welcome.
• 7:59
SPEAKER_01: Well, you have shared so much already.
• 8:02
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna ask you, is there a golden nugget in your story that you would just like to put out there that's even going to spark more interest to our listeners that say, I want to read her story along with all the other women's and daughters' stories in our mothers, our daughters book?
• 8:21
SPEAKER_02: I would say forgiveness is the most powerful thing you can do for yourself.
• 8:26
SPEAKER_02: If you can't learn to forgive, you can forget about achieving true success in your life.
• 8:33
SPEAKER_02: And I think that divine feminine in all of us, whether you are a f a female or whether you are a male, we all have that divine feminine, divine masculine, and in order to achieve success we must forgive.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_02: Because we deserve a beautiful life.
• 8:51
  SPEAKER_01: Yes, we do.
• 8:52
SPEAKER_01: We deserve to live in that color.
• 8:54
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, how beautiful.
• 8:55
SPEAKER_01: Uh that was a beautiful golden nugget.
• 8:58
SPEAKER_01: I I am so excited to read your story in the book.
• 9:02
SPEAKER_01: Oh my goodness, that is that is just incredible.
• 9:05
SPEAKER_01: And I must ask you, uh as we have talked and the magic has seemed to run, I would like to ask you, after the book is released, would you please come back and be a guest on my show and just share a little more about what you do in the world to make it a better place with your coaches and the people who are in the world?
• 9:26
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I would be I would be honored.
• 9:29
SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much for your time and your kindness and your love today and allowing me to share because I think that the mother-daughter relationship is one of the most formative in a in a human's life, and so I hope that people will run to purchase this book because it is a great gift out into the world.
• 9:51
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes.
• 9:52
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, I so agree.
• 9:54
SPEAKER_01: And oh, I'm so excited that you accepted and we'll be back on my show and oh, this has just been incredible.
• 10:01
SPEAKER_01: I just want to thank you so much for sharing.
• 10:04
SPEAKER_01: I could tell you we're sharing from the heart, and that's that's when the true beauty comes through and the true magic starts to happen when you share from the heart.
• 10:14
  SPEAKER_01: So thank you.
• 10:15
  SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much.
• 10:16
