- 0:00Speaker 1: Oh for an answer. Never leave without a close I
- 0:02Speaker 1: don't want to be that guy. I really don't like
- 0:05Speaker 1: that guy. At Intercon, we encourage you to ask questions
- 0:08Speaker 1: to make your decision on your own schedule. Why would
- 0:10Speaker 1: I force you to sign immediately if I was confident
- 0:12Speaker 1: that I'm offering the best value proposition. We don't have sales,
- 0:15Speaker 1: but bit each job with a moderate profit and a
- 0:17Speaker 1: fair deal for both parties. If I can afford to
- 0:20Speaker 1: offer thirty percent off if you sign now, how fair
- 0:22Speaker 1: was the deal if you had signed five minutes ago.
- 0:24Speaker 1: With our depth and breadth of window solutions, we will
- 0:26Speaker 1: understand and solve your problem. Sometimes that means fullwood replacement,
- 0:30Speaker 1: but other times repairs can be done to your existing windows.
- 0:32Speaker 1: We are not in it for the quick sale, but
- 0:34Speaker 1: prefer the long haul. There is no better feeling than
- 0:37Speaker 1: when repeat customers come back to inter Con after purchase
- 0:39Speaker 1: of a new home. You won't have to look very
- 0:41Speaker 1: hard to find people better trained in sales techniques, but
- 0:44Speaker 1: it will be a challenge to find anyone better trained
- 0:46Speaker 1: in window installation and repair than your neighbors at inner Con.
- 0:49Speaker 2: So't twins a single hour of a single day of
- 0:52Speaker 2: your Favorite Shows is at the Pond Center at Sony
- 0:54Speaker 2: eleven fifty dot comt Center.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It is his Kzy and E College.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Station family owned and operated since nineteen seventy two. Stepcheck
- 1:02Speaker 3: Service Center twenty two hundred longmyre just down from the
- 1:05Speaker 3: post office in College Station. It is all welly Wednesday.
- 1:11Speaker 3: We thank you for being with us. We have a
- 1:14Speaker 3: bit of an abbreviated show, Astro's Baseball against Toronto, coming
- 1:18Speaker 3: up in the part of the second hour, But before then,
- 1:23Speaker 3: Mallory is going to be here. She's going to be
- 1:25Speaker 3: here in the first hour. Some of you who only
- 1:28Speaker 3: listen in the second hour aren't hearing me right now,
- 1:31Speaker 3: so you don't know who Mallory is, but she'll be
- 1:34Speaker 3: here in the first you should. Scott Glendenna joins us
- 1:38Speaker 3: for our regular Wednesday visit coming up at the bottom
- 1:43Speaker 3: of the hour. Tomorrow, we'll have our Clark Eisenhower Outdoor edition.
- 1:49Speaker 3: We will have our weekly visit with Ryan Targosh. However,
- 1:54Speaker 3: because we didn't have a show yesterday, Targosh is from
- 1:59Speaker 3: the Bombers is normally going to be with us on Tuesdays. Okay,
- 2:04Speaker 3: so starting next Tuesday at four point fifteen but he'll
- 2:07Speaker 3: be with us tomorrow. And also I said, we have
- 2:14Speaker 3: the Clark Eisenhower out Door Edition. We're going on a
- 2:17Speaker 3: fishing trip in Lake Calcashew in Louisiana tomorrow and Friday.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Ryan will be here Monday, Rich Shay from Major League
- 2:28Speaker 3: Eating an annual visit to talk about the fourth of
- 2:32Speaker 3: July hot dog eating contest on Coney Island. That is
- 2:37Speaker 3: Monday on the program. So I'll give you a little
- 2:42Speaker 3: idea of what's in store. The Texas Rangers played early
- 2:46Speaker 3: baseball today and they never woke up. They got beat
- 2:51Speaker 3: forty two by the Marlins. The Rangers had only six
- 2:53Speaker 3: base hits, two of them solo home runs won by
- 2:57Speaker 3: Jock Peterson, one by Why Langford. Beyond that, Nada, the
- 3:04Speaker 3: hard luck loser was Jacob de Gram, who pitched well
- 3:07Speaker 3: enough six innings, four hits, tour and runs, eight strikeouts,
- 3:12Speaker 3: just two walks, and only a loss to show for it.
- 3:17Speaker 3: The Rangers now four games below five hundred. The Rangers
- 3:22Speaker 3: before the game announced that top prospect Winston Santos, right
- 3:27Speaker 3: handed pitcher from the Dominican Republic, has been called up.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Santo was at training camp but broke his left hand
- 3:36Speaker 3: during a live batting practice. He just returned April ninth
- 3:43Speaker 3: to Frisco. Santos called up. Jose Corneil, who lost yesterday's game,
- 3:49Speaker 3: has been optioned back to Triple A round Rock. Meanwhile,
- 3:55Speaker 3: Jack Lighter had right ankle surgery yesterday to remove quote
- 4:00Speaker 3: a loose body from his ankle. But he is going
- 4:06Speaker 3: to be out a while. How long don't know, probably
- 4:12Speaker 3: most of the rest of the season. His surgery was
- 4:15Speaker 3: at Duke. Corey Seeger is getting ready to come back,
- 4:22Speaker 3: perhaps tomorrow, we will see. Seeger took a rather intensive
- 4:31Speaker 3: life batting practice yesterday according to the team, That included
- 4:36Speaker 3: sitting down a few minutes between rounds like game practice.
- 4:41Speaker 3: So we'll see if Corey Seeger returns. It can't be
- 4:46Speaker 3: soon enough for the flailing Rangers. The Astros just five
- 4:52Speaker 3: games below five hundred, I say just because they're right
- 4:55Speaker 3: in the thick of the American League West. They will
- 5:00Speaker 3: take on the Blue Jays again this evening. Right handed
- 5:05Speaker 3: pitcher Mike Burrows will make the start. He hasn't been
- 5:08Speaker 3: very good. He's three and eight with a five seven
- 5:11Speaker 3: to nine earned run average. This will be game three
- 5:16Speaker 3: of a seven game road trip. Tomorrow. Nope, that's it.
- 5:25Speaker 3: That's enough. That is Rangers and Astros for you. Cubs.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Right handed pitcher Ben Brown is joining fellow right hander
- 5:37Speaker 3: Edward Cabrera on the sideline. Both pitchers on the fifteen
- 5:43Speaker 3: day il Brown with a straight neck. Cabrera set to
- 5:49Speaker 3: go on the injured list after a left hamstring stray,
- 5:53Speaker 3: and he was carted off the field last night during
- 5:57Speaker 3: the fifth inning against the Mets us in Trey. Whow
- 6:05Speaker 3: where did all of that go? This just in tray?
- 6:13Speaker 3: This is a breaking score from soccer Bill Nil. The
- 6:20Speaker 3: A and M. Letterman's Association announcing this week that the
- 6:25Speaker 3: Athletic Hall of Fame class will include eight more, including
- 6:31Speaker 3: former coach Terry Price, who will be inducted posthumously along
- 6:38Speaker 3: with receiving a Lifetime Achievement recognition, along with Kelly Cross Cooff.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Also going in will be Miles Garrett and Tyler Naquin,
- 6:51Speaker 3: among others. They will be feeded at a banquet September eleventh,
- 6:55Speaker 3: prior to the Arizona State weekend, and they will be
- 6:59Speaker 3: announced at halftime of that game. I don't know if
- 7:03Speaker 3: you saw this or not, but the NHL is talking
- 7:08Speaker 3: about expanding in the state of Texas, the Associated Press
- 7:13Speaker 3: saying it could come down between Austin and Houston as
- 7:20Speaker 3: to who gets a new hockey team. Of course, Houston
- 7:25Speaker 3: has a long history of hockey, but it's been a while.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Austin has a minor league team. Gary Bettman has expressed
- 7:35Speaker 3: he's the commissioner. In recent years, after the Golden Knights
- 7:40Speaker 3: were admitted, they talked about more. Seattle paid six hundred
- 7:46Speaker 3: and fifty million dollars. Why did they expand? Well, I
- 7:51Speaker 3: just told you Seattle paid six hundred and fifty million
- 7:55Speaker 3: dollars for the privilege of coming in. Do you divide
- 7:59Speaker 3: up what be a billion dollar price tag? That's cash
- 8:05Speaker 3: in the owner's pocket. Okay, why do we expand? Why
- 8:11Speaker 3: do we do anything in sports follow the money? NBA
- 8:19Speaker 3: draft aj Debantsa from Byu was number one. A fellow
- 8:24Speaker 3: Big twelver Darren Peterson was number two. The highest SEC
- 8:32Speaker 3: draft d last night was Darius Acuff from Arkansas. He
- 8:37Speaker 3: went seventh. I think that's rated to low. Somebody above
- 8:41Speaker 3: him is going to be sad for that. Kingston Flemings
- 8:45Speaker 3: of Houston was eighth. Brandon Bury's of Arizona was night.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Michigan players went number nine to new coach Dusty May
- 8:56Speaker 3: with the Mavericks. Yaxel Lindenborg went to Golden State died.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Mara went to Oklahoma City. At twelve, Nate a met
- 9:08Speaker 3: from Tennessee. The freshman went to the Heat. Let's see
- 9:17Speaker 3: Dalon Swayin of Texas to the Chicago Bulls and surprise
- 9:25Speaker 3: pick Frankly at number fifteen, Christian Anderson of Texas Tech
- 9:31Speaker 3: goes to Charlotte. I believe, I don't know. I can't
- 9:36Speaker 3: read these logos, they're very small. Let's see Cameron Carr
- 9:44Speaker 3: of Baylor goes to the Nicks. I believe, Chris Sinak
- 9:51Speaker 3: of Houston goes to the Celtics. Joshua Jefferson of Iowa
- 9:57Speaker 3: State at number when he eight goes somewhere.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Because I don't know what these logos are, and it
- 10:05Speaker 4: doesn't matter, we don't do the NB. I'm just doing
- 10:07Speaker 4: it for college's sake.
- 10:08Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. Okay, I'm going to take
- 10:13Speaker 3: a break. I will tell you next Monday will be
- 10:19Speaker 3: my final day on the air for a little while.
- 10:22Speaker 3: We're going to take a little break. So be nice
- 10:27Speaker 3: as always to the people filling in who I don't
- 10:31Speaker 3: know all of them yet. We're still working on dates.
- 10:36Speaker 3: A lot of the usual suspects will be in. Caleb
- 10:40Speaker 3: is going to be handling a bulk of time during
- 10:43Speaker 3: our time away, so we got that going on for us.
- 10:48Speaker 3: You know, news director Bill Oliver is leaving next week.
- 10:53Speaker 3: We want to say goodbye properly to Bill as well.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Trey remind me to do that.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Since I won't be here, We'll call Bill and he's
- 11:03Speaker 4: not doing anything. He's just sitting in his office way
- 11:06Speaker 4: always does, you know, drawing a paycheck. Bill's the best
- 11:14Speaker 4: news guy I've ever worked with, period, period, one of
- 11:19Speaker 4: the best in the entire business. So we have got
- 11:25Speaker 4: a proper replacement I believe for Bill. So that will
- 11:29Speaker 4: be good. All Right, we're going to take a break.
- 11:34Speaker 4: We will be back with Mallory. I think, yes, I
- 11:40Speaker 4: know Mallory is coming back. Let me just say that.
- 11:47Speaker 3: And I'll talk with Scott. With this coming up, we
- 11:50Speaker 3: have to talk about it. Rangers astros Ao West, which
- 11:56Speaker 3: is just it's crazy. I thought that better than five
- 12:03Speaker 3: hundred record would win, which would be eighty one wins
- 12:06Speaker 3: in one hundred and sixty two game schedule. So I
- 12:12Speaker 3: I'm beginning to think maybe five hundred might win this league.
- 12:16Speaker 3: And I'm pretty sure that five hundred baseball would put
- 12:21Speaker 3: you in the race to win the league in September
- 12:26Speaker 3: and maybe even the wild card. The way things are
- 12:29Speaker 3: looking right now, the loss of Jack Lightlighter is huge
- 12:34Speaker 3: for the Rangers. Huge. We saw last night what would happen.
- 12:42Speaker 3: But again, if they don't hit, they're gonna They're gonna
- 12:45Speaker 3: get Corey Seger back. That's good. I'm not sure when
- 12:49Speaker 3: Evan Carter's gonna be back. That's gonna be a while.
- 12:55Speaker 3: You know, they they have had injuries, the Astros have
- 12:59Speaker 3: that injury. The Astros are getting healthy. I believe, if
- 13:05Speaker 3: you know, if there's a team that is going to
- 13:09Speaker 3: challenge Seattle, it's going to be Houston. I don't think
- 13:16Speaker 3: it's going to be Oakland. I don't think it's going
- 13:19Speaker 3: to be the Rangers. I know it's not going to
- 13:22Speaker 3: be the Angels. How ironic is the fact that this
- 13:25Speaker 3: season so far, Mike Trout has been healthy right, hasn't
- 13:31Speaker 3: been injured, been playing great. But the Angels are still
- 13:39Speaker 3: just terrible. So I don't know what to say. It's
- 13:48Speaker 3: they're doing just enough to keep me interested, but I
- 13:54Speaker 3: texted Rustyberson last night after the first loss of the series.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Now today they've had the second loss of the series
- 14:03Speaker 3: that they are capable of playing pretty good baseball, but
- 14:09Speaker 3: when it's bad, it is awful. Okay. This portion of
- 14:15Speaker 3: the program is brought to you by and Co Insurance.
- 14:19Speaker 5: Inco Insurance is now a part of Hub International, bringing
- 14:22Speaker 5: you more choices, better value, and even greater expertise. While
- 14:26Speaker 5: our name has changed, we're still the same local team
- 14:28Speaker 5: you know and trust, now with even more to offer
- 14:31Speaker 5: from business insurance to personal protection and employee benefits. We're
- 14:34Speaker 5: still committed to protecting what matters most with the personalized
- 14:38Speaker 5: service you expect now with the strength of Hub International
- 14:41Speaker 5: behind us, more resources, more solutions, Still your team, and
- 14:44Speaker 5: co Insurance a Hub International company, so you're ready for tomorrow.
- 14:49Speaker 3: It's Tech SAgs Live. Brought to you by David Garters Jewelers.
- 14:52Speaker 6: I think there are a lot of people that would
- 14:54Speaker 6: probably be even lower on Marshall Reed than I was,
- 14:57Speaker 6: but are probably given him the benefit of the doubt
- 15:01Speaker 6: because of what A and M did with the eleven
- 15:03Speaker 6: zero start last year, a start in which I think
- 15:05Speaker 6: Marcel Reid was in the Heisman Trophy conversation for many,
- 15:08Speaker 6: and I think that he was doing the things that
- 15:11Speaker 6: we question coming into the season, like is he going
- 15:14Speaker 6: to be able to check those boxes? And for me,
- 15:16Speaker 6: he checked a lot of boxes. He's actually been better
- 15:19Speaker 6: against the Blitz than he's been you know, when he's
- 15:21Speaker 6: just kept clean. So I think Marcel still brings a
- 15:24Speaker 6: lot to the table. And I do think someone that
- 15:27Speaker 6: has been able to go in these hostile atmospheres and
- 15:30Speaker 6: win in big time spots, I think you can win
- 15:33Speaker 6: with a guy like that. He has all sec upside,
- 15:36Speaker 6: but it's figuring out those consistency issues and being able
- 15:39Speaker 6: to make sure that in the intermediate range and with
- 15:42Speaker 6: those turnovers that those are areas that are cleaned up.
- 15:44Speaker 3: This year tech tags live weekdays from eight to eleven
- 15:47Speaker 3: on the zone, turn out to the lines.
- 15:52Speaker 7: The part is over, they say, then all good things.
- 16:02Speaker 8: Call it a ninth sounds great.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Mallory is broad to West by Southwest card World and
- 16:11Speaker 3: you know when it's a little wall, we're together. I
- 16:14Speaker 3: have to mention this. Over the weekend we had some
- 16:20Speaker 3: like a triad of deaths.
- 16:25Speaker 9: Basically, yeah, I hate to hear about it.
- 16:30Speaker 3: James Burrows, who created a lot of shows and directed
- 16:38Speaker 3: things like Taxi and Friends and Will and Grace, The Simpsons.
- 16:48Speaker 3: He has died at eighty five. Okay. Former child actress
- 16:57Speaker 3: Dobby Chase, known for her youth full voice in Leelo
- 17:02Speaker 3: and Stitch and her villainous performance in the thriller The
- 17:07Speaker 3: Ring Was Just thirty five a bacterial meningitis blood infection.
- 17:17Speaker 3: And then finally, Tom Dreesen, who opened for Sinatra for
- 17:26Speaker 3: years and years and was a frequent guest on David Letterman,
- 17:33Speaker 3: a comedian, was eighty six. Along with Tim Reid, formed
- 17:43Speaker 3: one of America's first interracial stand up comedy duos. He
- 17:49Speaker 3: was Sinatra's opening act for fourteen years. So he got around.
- 17:58Speaker 3: So I've got that. You need to get away, get
- 18:01Speaker 3: get away from that.
- 18:04Speaker 9: We need we need some more births to announce.
- 18:07Speaker 3: It's so hot in Britain. Oh, come on, how hot
- 18:14Speaker 3: is it?
- 18:15Speaker 10: Sorry?
- 18:16Speaker 9: Sorry, I'm ready, it's so lait a minute.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Let's start this sober. It's so hot in Britain?
- 18:27Speaker 9: How hot is it?
- 18:29Speaker 3: The traditional changing of the guards ceremonies at Buckingham Palace
- 18:35Speaker 3: and Windsor Castle have been suspended for the rest of
- 18:39Speaker 3: the week.
- 18:41Speaker 9: Is it a a Is it a brutal eighty?
- 18:44Speaker 2: No?
- 18:44Speaker 3: No?
- 18:45Speaker 9: Oh no, no, no oh, it's actually hotter.
- 18:48Speaker 3: One hundred and two.
- 18:50Speaker 9: Jeez.
- 18:51Speaker 3: A red alert is rare. The warning from the National
- 18:57Speaker 3: Weather Service cites a risk of life to even healthy individuals.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Excessive heat. June temperature record is expected to be broken
- 19:10Speaker 3: this week. So this is.
- 19:14Speaker 9: A great time.
- 19:15Speaker 3: So it's hotter United States. People don't be traveling to
- 19:19Speaker 3: London right now. Don't bring it with you.
- 19:23Speaker 9: Yeah, it'll feel you'll feel right at home.
- 19:26Speaker 3: You'll feel it home. Yeah, that's crazy.
- 19:29Speaker 9: No, I know, I know they're not used to it,
- 19:32Speaker 9: and it could be different. I get it. Those poor
- 19:37Speaker 9: people will send all of our thoughts and prayers to you.
- 19:40Speaker 10: Guys.
- 19:42Speaker 3: The guards, oh my gosh, they wear they wear a
- 19:46Speaker 3: lot of heavy uniforms, so they sure do.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I don't.
- 19:49Speaker 9: I wouldn't want to wear that one hundred. Well, let's
- 19:54Speaker 9: let's switch gears to Taylor Swift.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Because you know she's getting married soon.
- 19:59Speaker 11: So so I hear.
- 20:01Speaker 3: We think sometime this weekend or early next week.
- 20:06Speaker 9: Around the fourth. You never know. Only Taylor Swift would
- 20:11Speaker 9: try to outshine the two hundred and fiftieth.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Yeah, fourth of July celeration.
- 20:17Speaker 9: Yes, anyways, back to this, She would close out the
- 20:24Speaker 9: Pinnacle and a surprise set at the tight End University
- 20:27Speaker 9: for the second year in a row, so it's not
- 20:28Speaker 9: really that much of a surprise anymore. Following the day's practice,
- 20:32Speaker 9: players in paying fans packed the downtown Nashville venue for
- 20:36Speaker 9: an annual tight Ends and Friends concert, an impressive lineup
- 20:41Speaker 9: featuring Chase, Rice, Hardy, Dan and Shay and John Party, Party, Party.
- 20:47Speaker 9: I don't know much. I don't. I'm gonna be honest,
- 20:50Speaker 9: I only kind of recognize one of those names.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Recognize, So yeah, it's.
- 20:55Speaker 9: Always pretty much maybe Chase Rice, but it just could
- 20:59Speaker 9: be a formili your name. It's not, you know. Anyways,
- 21:02Speaker 9: I digress Rice Field speculation when he ended his set
- 21:06Speaker 9: by drawing Swift's favorite number thirteen and permanent marker on
- 21:10Speaker 9: the back of his hand, holding up the crowd, holding
- 21:12Speaker 9: it up to the crowd and declaring, I'm a swifty y'all. Lady.
- 21:17Speaker 9: Wilson did later emerge at the Knight's first surprise guest.
- 21:22Speaker 9: What about this lineup? She said, Dan and Chase singing
- 21:25Speaker 9: the national anthem got me in the spirit tonight. I
- 21:27Speaker 9: hope you're ready to get your or to let your
- 21:29Speaker 9: hair down. She did sing four By for you maybe
- 21:38Speaker 9: I don't know, guys, I'm sorry, and Watermelon Moonshine. But
- 21:43Speaker 9: the very first time I came, I got to see
- 21:45Speaker 9: this act down at the river Front stage. She was sixteen.
- 21:48Speaker 9: I was thirteen. Wilson said about watching the Swift at
- 21:52Speaker 9: CMA Fest. I knew watching her that day that she
- 21:55Speaker 9: was something really, really special and it has been so
- 21:58Speaker 9: cool seeing what she has done. And she is just
- 22:01Speaker 9: as kind as she is talented.
- 22:02Speaker 11: Y'all.
- 22:03Speaker 9: Welcome to the stage, tailors.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Wow, Wow, there's that.
- 22:08Speaker 9: It was a really long yeah nation for Taylor Swift
- 22:14Speaker 9: coming out on the stage. Guys, I'm sorry, but if
- 22:16Speaker 9: I had to read it, you had to deal with
- 22:18Speaker 9: it too.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Emma Watson, which one is that?
- 22:22Speaker 12: Chip?
- 22:22Speaker 3: I don't know. Harry Potter and Beauty and the Beast. Ye, yes,
- 22:29Speaker 3: well it's written right here. Yeah. She has made a
- 22:34Speaker 3: rare public appearance seven years after her last film role
- 22:42Speaker 3: in Little Women. The thirty six year old actress joined
- 22:46Speaker 3: bitter Dick Cumberbatch, British Royal Prince William and host June's
- 22:53Speaker 3: Sarpong Monday in London, where they joined forces for the
- 22:58Speaker 3: Royal Foundations for Wildlife event. Watson shared a video montage
- 23:06Speaker 3: which showed her interacting with other attendees talking about wildlife trafficking.
- 23:13Speaker 3: The actress, who spoke out after landing the role of
- 23:18Speaker 3: her money Granger opposite Daniel Radcliffe in the adaptation of
- 23:24Speaker 3: Harry Potter series, has largely retreated from the Hollywood spotlight
- 23:30Speaker 3: in recent years. Seven years to be exact. That's a
- 23:34Speaker 3: long time to retreat.
- 23:36Speaker 9: That is, that's quite the retreat. Yeah, you know, I
- 23:40Speaker 9: wish there were some other actors or famous people.
- 23:42Speaker 3: That would retreat.
- 23:44Speaker 12: You know.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Some of them over the years have threatened to retreat,
- 23:49Speaker 3: but unfortunately they have not retreated.
- 23:53Speaker 9: Turns out they're all talk, all talk, all hat spotlight,
- 23:56Speaker 9: no cattle. Yeah, can you do additional what we have
- 24:04Speaker 9: kind of talked about this sad story unfortunately throughout the year,
- 24:08Speaker 9: But additional information has emerged about the second message connected
- 24:12Speaker 9: to the alleged kidnapping of Nancy Gunthree, the mother of
- 24:16Speaker 9: Today's Show co host Savannah gun Three. According to new reports,
- 24:21Speaker 9: the second note, sent to several news outlets, claimed that
- 24:24Speaker 9: the eighty four year old died shortly after being abducted
- 24:27Speaker 9: on February first. The message reportedly expressed regret over her death,
- 24:32Speaker 9: according to the outlets. The outlets also reported that the
- 24:36Speaker 9: second note did not include an apology or any demand
- 24:40Speaker 9: for money in exchange for the return of her body.
- 24:42Speaker 9: So one day after authorities acknowledged the new message back
- 24:45Speaker 9: in February, Savannah and her siblings Anna and Cameron shared
- 24:49Speaker 9: in the emotional appeal on Instagram where we received your
- 24:52Speaker 9: message and we understand. She said. We beg you now
- 24:55Speaker 9: to return our mother to us so that we can
- 24:57Speaker 9: celebrate her. This is the only way we will have peace.
- 25:00Speaker 9: This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.
- 25:03Speaker 9: The second message did come after an earlier notes sent
- 25:06Speaker 9: to Arizona television stations that reported demand millions of dollars
- 25:10Speaker 9: in bitcoin for Nancy's safe return. Their deadline was for
- 25:14Speaker 9: February fifth, and n a.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Long time ago, it was, But that's.
- 25:20Speaker 9: Which it kind of makes it. I remember them talking
- 25:23Speaker 9: in the way that they were saying in their video.
- 25:25Speaker 9: It made it seem like they had already knew or
- 25:27Speaker 9: expected that she was gone, So that makes sense they
- 25:31Speaker 9: probably didn't know.
- 25:34Speaker 3: As long as we're on sad stories.
- 25:38Speaker 9: Why not.
- 25:38Speaker 3: You know, Olivia Jean and Jack White are getting a divorce.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I mean they lasted three years their reconcilable differences and
- 25:53Speaker 3: inappropriate marital conduct. She listed their date of separation as
- 26:00Speaker 3: the date of the filing allegency can show that White
- 26:03Speaker 3: quote is guilty of inappropriate marital conduct and makes further
- 26:08Speaker 3: cohabitation unsafe and improper. The criteria of this reasoning under
- 26:15Speaker 3: Tennessee law is when one spouse exhibits quote, cruel and
- 26:18Speaker 3: inhuman treatment or conduct towards the other. Jean said She's
- 26:24Speaker 3: dependent on White's income for support and wants alimony and
- 26:30Speaker 3: hopes to enter into a written Marital Disillusioned Agreement or
- 26:36Speaker 3: MDA regarding the division of assets, and she wants White
- 26:43Speaker 3: to pay her legal costs and fees associated with all
- 26:47Speaker 3: of it. So, man, I thought it was going to last.
- 26:53Speaker 9: I did, sure me too. Well, you know what, it
- 27:01Speaker 9: just makes sense to jump from one money story to
- 27:03Speaker 9: another to him because this one's also kind of sad.
- 27:07Speaker 9: Takeoff's parents are fighting over how and where to divvy
- 27:11Speaker 9: up settlement money from a wrongful death suit over the
- 27:14Speaker 9: late Negos member's murder, with this mom arguing his dad
- 27:17Speaker 9: was barely present in their son's life. So apparently there
- 27:22Speaker 9: is a bitter back and forth between Takeoffs Takeoffs Mom
- 27:26Speaker 9: Titania Davenport and his dad kidneys Ball. The war involves
- 27:32Speaker 9: sentiment money from a wrongful death lawsuit what was brought
- 27:36Speaker 9: by Takeoffs Mom in Texas. So in the docs, she
- 27:39Speaker 9: did say she had a close, loving and nurturing sorry
- 27:44Speaker 9: relationship with her son for his entire lifetime. She said
- 27:47Speaker 9: she cared for and raised him from birth as a
- 27:50Speaker 9: single parent. She said she provided him with nearly sole
- 27:53Speaker 9: financial support until he became an adult. She also claims
- 27:57Speaker 9: to continued to help him out when he pursued his
- 27:59Speaker 9: music career, adding Takeoff then provided her with financial support,
- 28:04Speaker 9: which included paying most, if not all, of her expenses.
- 28:08Speaker 9: So she said we did buy her home, cars and
- 28:12Speaker 9: paid for her clothing, food, living expenses and utilities. She
- 28:15Speaker 9: claimed Kenneth was not really around during her son's life
- 28:18Speaker 9: and provided basically no financial support and effectively no emotional
- 28:24Speaker 9: support to him as well. Uh Takeoff's dad even said
- 28:28Speaker 9: that he was mostly absent from his life. So he
- 28:31Speaker 9: admits that, but he is still entitled to half of
- 28:34Speaker 9: the settlement money and thinks Texas is the most appropriate
- 28:36Speaker 9: court to figure out how to divvy it up. Well,
- 28:40Speaker 9: apparently she wants to do it in Georgia. He wants
- 28:42Speaker 9: to do it in Texas.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Maybe he thinks Texas.
- 28:48Speaker 9: Yeah, money and death just sometimes brings out that the
- 28:51Speaker 9: worst the world.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Hey, before we get to birthdays, I do want to
- 28:56Speaker 3: mention I went to see Toy Story five Life this week.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Took the grandkids. Oh yeah, it's awesome. Yeah, yeah, really
- 29:05Speaker 3: good swears thumbs up. Thumbs up for Toy Story five.
- 29:12Speaker 9: So great to hear. How do you like Taylor song?
- 29:15Speaker 3: Didn't even notice it, didn't care. I think it was
- 29:18Speaker 3: at the end of the when they were rolling the credit.
- 29:21Speaker 9: It was something with Jesse. I don't know.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it was at the end.
- 29:25Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 29:26Speaker 3: I don't remember it. Don't really care, you know. So,
- 29:32Speaker 3: but go see Toy Story five. Okay, let's do birthdays.

- 35:47Speaker 17: I don't believe in Jerry Jones. Jerry loves the spectacle,

- 36:35Speaker 3: Don't forget the Clark Eisenhower Outdoor editioned tomorrow. It's a
- 36:40Speaker 3: trip to Lake Calcashew tomorrow. On the program. Ryan is
- 36:45Speaker 3: in On Friday. Scott Clendenen joins us for our regular
- 36:50Speaker 3: Wednesday gig, but I will say it's our last Wednesday
- 36:56Speaker 3: gig for a little while uh, Scott will be here
- 37:00Speaker 3: a few times in July, I will not be here
- 37:04Speaker 3: a few times in July. So the good news is
- 37:08Speaker 3: by the time we get back, we will almost be
- 37:11Speaker 3: talking football.
- 37:13Speaker 10: Yeah, and we will also get to play some Willie,
- 37:16Speaker 10: because I know that sometimes you're guests that follow us on.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Yeah, they don't play Willie.
- 37:20Speaker 13: They don't play Willy will Wednesday.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Well, I'll make a note that on the road. I mean,
- 37:24Speaker 3: I'm going to spend a lot of time on the road,
- 37:26Speaker 3: so well.
- 37:27Speaker 10: But the problem is Willie is probably going to be
- 37:30Speaker 10: driving through town and says, have I heard about this all?
- 37:33Speaker 10: Will He'll call in, and he'll call in, Yeah, and
- 37:36Speaker 10: I'll be here and they won't even know Willie exactly.
- 37:40Speaker 13: No, Willie's the country station down the dial.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Yeah that's a problem. Yeah, you're right. So there's nothing
- 37:47Speaker 3: I can do about that now. As Willie went saying,
- 37:53Speaker 3: let's start with the College World Series, which ended on
- 37:57Speaker 3: Monday night, anti climbat.
- 38:01Speaker 13: There's no doubt. There is no doubt it was that.
- 38:05Speaker 13: I mean, you look back at I.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Thought Carolina is the one that had the pitching left.
- 38:10Speaker 3: I did too, but apparently was it. But I also
- 38:13Speaker 3: know what accounted for the Mercurion brothers.
- 38:16Speaker 10: Well, you know, I think that that's two years in
- 38:21Speaker 10: a row that Oklahoma's had a pair of brothers show
- 38:24Speaker 10: up and be very very good for them. But you know,
- 38:28Speaker 10: the eleventh best team in the SEC is your national champion.
- 38:32Speaker 10: That is not the first time, it will probably not
- 38:36Speaker 10: be the last time that a non SEC champion makes
- 38:40Speaker 10: a run. But this is kind of out a bolt
- 38:44Speaker 10: of lightning, out of a clear blue sky for Oklahoma
- 38:47Speaker 10: to do it.
- 38:47Speaker 3: This Well, it's a couple of things. Also, you mentioned eleventh.
- 38:51Speaker 3: I mean, we always think that if you just get
- 38:55Speaker 3: in the tournament after grinding through the SEC season, you
- 39:00Speaker 3: know you're you're gonna have a shot if you catch
- 39:04Speaker 3: lightning like the Sooners did. And it's been a while
- 39:09Speaker 3: since you to me that you saw a team that
- 39:13Speaker 3: was it's not unusual in sports, like down to your
- 39:17Speaker 3: last play, down to your last out, that kind of thing,
- 39:21Speaker 3: and a spark happens. But man, this spark just it
- 39:24Speaker 3: blew up. It never quit. Once they beat Georgia tack
- 39:29Speaker 3: it was like on yeah.
- 39:31Speaker 10: And I think that that's one of the great things
- 39:34Speaker 10: about you know, baseball, it's always the clock doesn't run out,
- 39:39Speaker 10: you have the opportunity to rally. You know, you your
- 39:44Speaker 10: opponent has to get you out twenty seven times and
- 39:47Speaker 10: that that's part of the lore of this game, is
- 39:50Speaker 10: that you can play as long as you need if
- 39:54Speaker 10: you don't make outs. And they did that, they got
- 39:58Speaker 10: on that run. But I also think that most teams
- 40:02Speaker 10: that are seeded, especially with the size now of the SEC,
- 40:08Speaker 10: if you get a two seed that is an SEC team,
- 40:12Speaker 10: you know you're going to have problems. Yeah, doesn't matter
- 40:17Speaker 10: who it is. If they seed seven SEC teams the
- 40:21Speaker 10: next four, a good team is going to look up
- 40:24Speaker 10: and say, hey, well, why did we get an SEC
- 40:27Speaker 10: team in our regional. Well, there's so many regionals now
- 40:31Speaker 10: that have hosts their SEC teams, they have to fit
- 40:34Speaker 10: them somewhere.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Well again, but I would argue, I don't think anybody
- 40:39Speaker 3: saw this coming.
- 40:40Speaker 10: No, that Saturday, Georgia Tech was the national champion, is
- 40:44Speaker 10: what everybody was saying on ESPN. Well, they're right, the
- 40:47Speaker 10: winner of their regional was the national champion.
- 40:51Speaker 13: They's just didn't have the r I T.
- 40:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it was. It was an amazing thing to watch
- 40:57Speaker 3: and just the hitting. You know, we always say, look
- 41:01Speaker 3: hitting is contagious. Not hitting is contagious. Pitching is contagious.
- 41:06Speaker 3: Not pitching is contagious. Defense, same thing, you know, And
- 41:11Speaker 3: they just, man, they just never looked back. And they
- 41:16Speaker 3: they didn't come close to hitting the ball like this
- 41:18Speaker 3: in the in the in the regular season. If they had,
- 41:20Speaker 3: they wouldn't have been eleventh in the SEC.
- 41:23Speaker 10: And they didn't pitch like that either, No, they were
- 41:25Speaker 10: they were the eleventh team because they were inconsistent.
- 41:29Speaker 13: Yeah, and you know.
- 41:32Speaker 10: Weekends that they would get good pitching, they wouldn't hit,
- 41:34Speaker 10: and vice versa. Yeah, but they put it all together.
- 41:37Speaker 10: But the power output, yeah, I mean the power output,
- 41:41Speaker 10: no one saw that coming. Yeah, not match your season's
- 41:45Speaker 10: home runs in the last sixteen games of.
- 41:47Speaker 3: What happened in Omaha is I don't think I remember
- 41:51Speaker 3: watching a college World Series that was not affected by
- 41:55Speaker 3: weather ever. Right ever, that's the first one I can remember.
- 41:59Speaker 3: And they had a couple of those days when when
- 42:04Speaker 3: blowing in right, and.
- 42:08Speaker 13: I think the Brackett was on that the other second
- 42:12Speaker 13: side of the brackets.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Georgia saw that a couple of times.
- 42:15Speaker 13: Yes, Oklahoma was the other day.
- 42:17Speaker 3: And then they were the other day, and it was
- 42:20Speaker 3: you know, the balls flying out, which we had seen
- 42:24Speaker 3: that consistently, balls flag out of that ballpark, you know,
- 42:29Speaker 3: in a while, No, I think it started probably, I
- 42:32Speaker 3: mean it looked like LSU and Rosenblatt.
- 42:35Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 42:36Speaker 10: I think it was about twenty two when Oklahoma and
- 42:39Speaker 10: it was there and Oklahoma beat them twice. That was
- 42:42Speaker 10: when you started to see that the ball was not
- 42:45Speaker 10: the ballpark was not such a factory as it had
- 42:48Speaker 10: been earlier. Yeah, because there was talk for a long
- 42:51Speaker 10: time to bring the fences in. Yes, and you know,
- 42:55Speaker 10: nobody saying that now.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Rosenblatt was was fairly large.
- 42:59Speaker 13: Yes, and it was it was, yes.
- 43:04Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, it was just uh, you know, it's just
- 43:08Speaker 3: one of those things in sports where you look at
- 43:10Speaker 3: and go, hey, anybody could win if they got at
- 43:14Speaker 3: the right time.
- 43:15Speaker 10: Well, it's it's always that way. But when you have it,
- 43:17Speaker 10: when you have an underdog that does it, this is
- 43:20Speaker 10: the pattern. It is always the pattern, and it's usually
- 43:25Speaker 10: in in whatever it is, it's usually a team that
- 43:30Speaker 10: you know, the underdog is not.
- 43:33Speaker 13: Santa Clara very often.
- 43:35Speaker 3: No, But when you and when you look at that
- 43:38Speaker 3: team at which I hadn't watched, it's like, holy, how
- 43:43Speaker 3: do they have a lot of athletes on that team.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, on that outfield, it's phenomenal.
- 43:48Speaker 13: Well, that certainly helped him in Omaha.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Yes, they covered from from foul line to foul line
- 43:54Speaker 3: and beyond in Omaha. Yes, and over the fence and over.
- 43:58Speaker 3: I mean, these guys made play after play.
- 44:01Speaker 10: But they felt it. Yeah, they were feeling it. They
- 44:05Speaker 10: had that confidence and they felt like they were better.
- 44:09Speaker 13: Now.
- 44:09Speaker 10: I thought North Carolina would feel the same way, and
- 44:12Speaker 10: I think that's why it went three games. I'm not
- 44:15Speaker 10: gonna act like North Carolina didn't play, but the last
- 44:19Speaker 10: game was so anti climactic is a great way to
- 44:25Speaker 10: put it, but it is so anti what North Carolina
- 44:28Speaker 10: had been all year long.
- 44:29Speaker 3: They didn't look like the same team.
- 44:30Speaker 10: They know, the first two games, they looked like a
- 44:33Speaker 10: completely different team.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, yeah, they didn't. That looked like they belonged.
- 44:39Speaker 3: They looked like the weight of a national championship was
- 44:43Speaker 3: on their shoulders. Oklahoma's loose, they're swinging it.
- 44:48Speaker 10: H that's just you know, Chip the Poe, the win
- 44:53Speaker 10: the national championship. Last out of the game, you saw
- 44:56Speaker 10: them just react like we've known for four or five
- 45:00Speaker 10: that were the.
- 45:00Speaker 13: Champion yeah, no doubt, we've not.
- 45:03Speaker 10: We're in the dugout already knowing that we're going to
- 45:06Speaker 10: win this game, that they're not going to come back
- 45:09Speaker 10: on us bam two run home run. They're not coming
- 45:11Speaker 10: back on us bam three run home run. They're not
- 45:14Speaker 10: coming back on us. We are the national champion, just
- 45:17Speaker 10: waiting for the twenty seventh out. Now, there are times
- 45:21Speaker 10: when that happens and it gets real easy to get
- 45:24Speaker 10: those other outs, and they certainly had that, and you know,
- 45:29Speaker 10: the SEC just shows that how deep this is. You know, Chip,
- 45:35Speaker 10: before A and M lost to Missouri last year and
- 45:38Speaker 10: it looked like A and M was going to two
- 45:39Speaker 10: years ago and it looked like they were going to
- 45:41Speaker 10: get in a tournament, we talked about nobody wants to
- 45:45Speaker 10: play A and M after they have gotten on this
- 45:47Speaker 10: role and things are going well for them. That is
- 45:50Speaker 10: the strength of this league is when you get out
- 45:53Speaker 10: of when you get out of SEC play. Nothing we
- 45:57Speaker 10: see on the weekend isn't something we have that already
- 46:00Speaker 10: played against for ten weeks in a row, the grind
- 46:04Speaker 10: for ten weeks in a row, if you have the
- 46:06Speaker 10: medal to get through that. Even though they were fourteen
- 46:09Speaker 10: and sixteen, even though after the first weekend when they
- 46:13Speaker 10: started against A and M two and one, they you
- 46:16Speaker 10: know they had struggled. But the next tournament is not
- 46:20Speaker 10: nearly as hard as what we saw every day of
- 46:23Speaker 10: the weekend, and lots of teams can be put in
- 46:27Speaker 10: that position. And whoever next year's Georgia Tech is and
- 46:32Speaker 10: they have somebody show up from the SEC that's a
- 46:35Speaker 10: two seed, you don't want to be there. I thought
- 46:37Speaker 10: the team this year that was going to do it
- 46:39Speaker 10: was Tennessee. I did not think it was going to
- 46:41Speaker 10: be Oklahoma, but I thought a team from that.
- 46:45Speaker 3: I thought maybe even Florida had a shot.
- 46:47Speaker 10: Yes, but Florida probably peaked a little too early, and
- 46:52Speaker 10: Florida Florida has been much Florida carries a different amount
- 46:56Speaker 10: of pressure than this Oklahoma team did.
- 46:59Speaker 13: They were expected.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Expectations on Oklahoma none, which makes it a little bit
- 47:05Speaker 3: easier to play in those.
- 47:06Speaker 10: Circums exactly, and Florida had those expectations. Lots of SEC
- 47:10Speaker 10: teams had those expectations that didn't make a run to
- 47:13Speaker 10: omahall But then again, chip no.
- 47:15Speaker 13: Teams this year will repeat trip.
- 47:20Speaker 10: To Omaha, and every team had to deal with being
- 47:24Speaker 10: at Omahall ye, knowing what that was like for the first.
- 47:28Speaker 3: Time, pretty amazing. All right, We'll take a break, We'll

- 48:50Speaker 8: in Toronto looking to get back into the wind column
- 48:53Speaker 8: last night as they took on the Toronto Blue Jays.
- 48:57Speaker 13: Here's the pits. That's damn the right fit line? Is it?
- 49:01Speaker 3: Three?
- 49:02Speaker 18: Is it ever?
- 49:04Speaker 3: I producted right field.
- 49:08Speaker 8: It was a back and forth game going into extras.
- 49:10Speaker 8: Knotted at six to six. Neither team scored in the
- 49:13Speaker 8: tenth until Joey lo Berfido hit a three run homer
- 49:16Speaker 8: to put the nail in the coffin for Houston.
- 49:19Speaker 1: They won two and low perffeto hammers it.
- 49:23Speaker 13: It's a right fail. It's hockey. If it's stays fair,
- 49:26Speaker 13: it's gone. It's a fair ball and a go ahead
- 49:29Speaker 13: three run over.
- 49:31Speaker 8: They went on to win at nine to seven and
- 49:32Speaker 8: extras the Strows go for the series win. Tomorrow with
- 49:35Speaker 8: Mike Burrows on the mound. First pitch is at six
- 49:37Speaker 8: oh seven. I'm Jacob Ray and this has been your

- 50:28Speaker 3: Hey, welcome back, glad to be with you. It is
- 50:30Speaker 3: all Willie Wednesday, Scott cland Dennon is here with me.
- 50:37Speaker 3: I don't think this American League West is going to change,
- 50:40Speaker 3: do you know. I mean we're almost at the All
- 50:43Speaker 3: Star break here, so I think what you see is
- 50:45Speaker 3: what you get.
- 50:48Speaker 10: I think that the champion could be five hundred, that's
- 50:53Speaker 10: what I think, or maybe eighty and eighty two.
- 50:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that's what it's looking like unless unless
- 51:03Speaker 3: somebody can go on a run, and it doesn't look
- 51:05Speaker 3: like they can. I don't I don't know that any
- 51:08Speaker 3: of these teams are good enough to go in one
- 51:09Speaker 3: of those seven eight game winning streaks. I'm telling you,
- 51:12Speaker 3: a seven or eight game winning streak. You say cut
- 51:16Speaker 3: in the division, but then they're just that team is
- 51:19Speaker 3: just as likely to lose six six in a row,
- 51:21Speaker 3: right and then and the gate what they just got
- 51:24Speaker 3: through doing.
- 51:25Speaker 10: Well, Schip, I think that when I look at what
- 51:31Speaker 10: is going on right now. As of today, Seattle is
- 51:35Speaker 10: plus eighteen in run differential. Yes, the Athletics are minus
- 51:39Speaker 10: fifty six. I saw this, the Rangers minus twelve, the
- 51:42Speaker 10: Astros minus eleven, and I have the I have forty one,
- 51:49Speaker 10: forty one and minus thirty seven for the Angels.
- 51:52Speaker 3: Right, So look at the last ten Seattle's five and five,
- 51:56Speaker 3: Oakland's four and six, Ragers four and six, Astro six
- 52:01Speaker 3: and four, Angels four and six. I mean, yes, this
- 52:05Speaker 3: is a five hundred league.
- 52:07Speaker 10: Well in chip unless you are talking about the Yankees
- 52:13Speaker 10: and the Rays, everybody is within four games of five hundred.
- 52:19Speaker 10: The White Sox lead the Central Yeah, I know, that's
- 52:21Speaker 10: all you have.
- 52:22Speaker 13: To think about.
- 52:23Speaker 3: I know it's crazy, is how.
- 52:24Speaker 13: Crazy it is?
- 52:25Speaker 10: The National League is destroying the American League when they
- 52:28Speaker 10: have intersquad, I mean interleague play. Okay, they're winning all
- 52:32Speaker 10: those games.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Hey, the Raizers are five hundred against Miami so far.
- 52:37Speaker 13: They play two games.
- 52:38Speaker 3: They've played two so far.
- 52:42Speaker 10: I just I think the Astros continue to getting healthy.
- 52:45Speaker 10: Christian Javier is right around the corner on a return.
- 52:51Speaker 10: You know, it's still crazy enough that they might be
- 52:58Speaker 10: the team that can run down Seattle. Well, I don't
- 53:02Speaker 10: think there's a wild card in this, but then again,
- 53:04Speaker 10: I say that, and let me pop over to the wild.
- 53:07Speaker 13: Card standing real quick and see where.
- 53:11Speaker 10: Okay, the Toronto Blue Jays at thirty nine and forty.
- 53:15Speaker 13: Or the other wildcard team.
- 53:18Speaker 10: So you have Tampa and Cleveland above five hundred, then
- 53:22Speaker 10: Toronto at thirty nine and forty. The Astros are two
- 53:26Speaker 10: games out, The Athletics are a game out, the Rangers
- 53:30Speaker 10: are a game out.
- 53:32Speaker 13: It's just crazy.
- 53:34Speaker 3: Well, I feel like the Rangers losing Jack Glider is
- 53:41Speaker 3: just a killer for them. Just you know, they threw
- 53:46Speaker 3: in the new guy yesterday, and except for maybe three
- 53:53Speaker 3: at bats in which he looks like he's throwing batting practice,
- 53:56Speaker 3: he actually kept him in the game. Okay, but losing,
- 54:02Speaker 3: they're already they're already thin and losing. Jack Lighter. They
- 54:06Speaker 3: don't have anybody who you know, they're they're bringing up
- 54:10Speaker 3: the best of the worst that they have in the
- 54:12Speaker 3: minor leagues to try to fill that pitching staff. Corey Seeger.
- 54:18Speaker 3: They keep saying, is any day had extensive batting practice
- 54:23Speaker 3: yesterday has not been released yet. You know right now
- 54:30Speaker 3: why at Langford is keeping them in?
- 54:32Speaker 13: It's been weird.
- 54:34Speaker 3: Is keeping them you know he's hitting. So I just
- 54:41Speaker 3: I texted Rusty last night. I said, look, when when
- 54:44Speaker 3: this team's this team's capable of playing pretty good baseball.
- 54:49Speaker 3: But when they're bad, they're horrible. And the consistency comes
- 54:55Speaker 3: with pitching and defense. And last year they had it,
- 54:59Speaker 3: but they and hit a lick. This year they're hitting
- 55:03Speaker 3: slightly better, a little bit better. They've done a better
- 55:07Speaker 3: job in trying to manufacture runs, which they've had to,
- 55:11Speaker 3: but their defenses has not been consistent. Part of it
- 55:15Speaker 3: is they've had to play so many guys at so
- 55:18Speaker 3: many positions because of injuries. But part of it is
- 55:21Speaker 3: they're just not a real good defensive baseball team. The bullpen,
- 55:27Speaker 3: the back half of the bullpen has been great, but
- 55:31Speaker 3: it is it's already tired. It's not even the All
- 55:34Speaker 3: Star break yet, and the front half's just getting killed.
- 55:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:38Speaker 3: Here, the Astros have Hater back, right, yes, yeah.
- 55:42Speaker 10: And they and he threw yesterday, but he only threw
- 55:45Speaker 10: an inning and they are only throwing him an inning
- 55:48Speaker 10: and they are not using him consecutive days. They have
- 55:51Speaker 10: done a one to eight on on his usage, and
- 55:54Speaker 10: that bodes well. But this is what really bodes well
- 55:58Speaker 10: for the Astros. They have one more game with Toronto
- 56:01Speaker 10: that's going to start right after we get off the air,
- 56:05Speaker 10: four with Detroit, three with Minnesota, they play three with
- 56:09Speaker 10: Tampa Bay. Okay, so Tampa Bay is the second best
- 56:13Speaker 10: team or the best team in the American League. And
- 56:16Speaker 10: then they go Washington and Texas. So out of all
- 56:21Speaker 10: of that, you play one legitimate right now playoff team.
- 56:26Speaker 10: Right now, there's only two legitimate playoff teams in the
- 56:30Speaker 10: American League. So I understand that part, and the Astros
- 56:35Speaker 10: aren't one of them.
- 56:37Speaker 13: But with the Rangers.
- 56:38Speaker 10: You know, that's the exact same thing. Can you get
- 56:42Speaker 10: that street going and if you can, you might be
- 56:46Speaker 10: able to make a run. So next up is Toronto. Well,
- 56:51Speaker 10: Toronto's not great, Okay. Then at Cleveland Detroit, the Angels
- 57:00Speaker 10: in Houston. So it's the same schedule for both of
- 57:04Speaker 10: these teams.
- 57:04Speaker 3: Yeah, this was supposed if.
- 57:05Speaker 13: You can win this game, if you can win.
- 57:10Speaker 10: Fourteen of twenty one, play six sixty six baseball when no,
- 57:16Speaker 10: I'm just saying, anybody, no, no, you said a seven
- 57:19Speaker 10: game streak. I'm just saying, if you win the series.
- 57:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I just again, I don't know if any of
- 57:25Speaker 3: them are capable. Every time I think the Astros are
- 57:28Speaker 3: about to get on a role, you know they'll they'll
- 57:29Speaker 3: lose two out of three to like Detroit or something.
- 57:33Speaker 3: You know.
- 57:33Speaker 10: Well, and Penny gets hurt again. Now he played last night. Okay,
- 57:38Speaker 10: but you know, the the wounded in this in the
- 57:43Speaker 10: American League West are actually a significant portion of the
- 57:47Speaker 10: better players. Position players, no doubt, in the American League West,
- 57:51Speaker 10: no doubt.
- 57:52Speaker 3: Hey. The ironical thing is, uh, Trout's been healthy, yes,
- 58:00Speaker 3: crazy right, which well, and the other thing is which
- 58:03Speaker 3: tells you the Angels are never going to win.
- 58:05Speaker 10: I'm gonna knock on wood that speaker right there. Jordon
- 58:10Speaker 10: Alvarez may be the best player in the American League.
- 58:13Speaker 3: Oh uh, he's He's right there with Aaron Judge. Let's
- 58:17Speaker 3: put it that way. But Judge is hurting now, correct so,
- 58:20Speaker 3: but but he he is doing Aaron Judge like things.
- 58:24Speaker 10: Yes and yesterday they move Altuve in front of him
- 58:30Speaker 10: and Aloes three for six, So.
- 58:32Speaker 13: Maybe batting him in the five spot.
- 58:33Speaker 10: I understand that you want Peana to lead off games
- 58:37Speaker 10: when he's healthy, but.
- 58:39Speaker 13: Maybe you put all too in the two.
- 58:41Speaker 10: Spot and get him in front of your don because
- 58:43Speaker 10: though he gets pitches there, the guy in front of
- 58:46Speaker 10: jord On Alvarez is getting pitches.
- 58:49Speaker 3: Yeah, no doubt.
- 58:51Speaker 13: So I just.
- 58:54Speaker 10: If this is Jordan one hundred and forty games of
- 58:58Speaker 10: Jordan Alvarez is right there with Aaron Judge.
- 59:01Speaker 13: It is.
- 59:03Speaker 10: And I don't know if Judge is going to play
- 59:04Speaker 10: one hundred and forty games this year.
- 59:07Speaker 2: Well,
