- 2:07Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 2:08Speaker 3: We'll get to it our three.
- 2:11Speaker 4: I hadn't seen it.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I'll show you the break.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:13Speaker 3: It's so good, so give you chills. It's almost as
- 2:19Speaker 3: good as freeze.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It's it is so much significantly.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Worse hers now. So when I was at the when
- 2:29Speaker 4: we played in the Super Bowl in two thousand twenty
- 2:32Speaker 4: ten season, that was Christina Aguileras.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Oh that one bad, I remember that one.
- 2:36Speaker 4: She just she sounded great, she forgot the words. Yeah,
- 2:41Speaker 4: it was kind of practice in famous in famous. It
- 2:47Speaker 4: was like one of those things we were on the
- 2:48Speaker 4: sideline or listening. We're like, she just can't remember she
- 2:55Speaker 4: but she kept going. It's kind of like somebody slips
- 2:58Speaker 4: on the show. And says it cursed. You just keep going,
- 3:01Speaker 4: you don't highlight it, don't go back to it. She
- 3:05Speaker 4: just kind of slipped missed a word or two and
- 3:07Speaker 4: kept going and like to the point where were like
- 3:09Speaker 4: side eyeing each other like I don't know if that's
- 3:11Speaker 4: right or not.
- 3:13Speaker 2: And they did it again and the air that'st And
- 3:20Speaker 2: then that has to be the worst.
- 3:31Speaker 3: You're gonna die when I show.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Three of them, three of them and they were on
- 3:36Speaker 2: key no, and then it.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Was like one and then the two they were but
- 3:42Speaker 3: it was like two of them together and then the
- 3:44Speaker 3: one by herself, and there's a lot going.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It looked like they were set up in a way
- 3:49Speaker 2: that looked like is it called NPCs? Like the video
- 3:52Speaker 2: they were in where they were like, it's like, yeah,
- 3:54Speaker 2: they're just it's so weird.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Do you know where it was? Where? The where this
- 4:01Speaker 3: took place might make it even better? The Women's Professional
- 4:05Speaker 3: Baseball League in Queens Queen Oh wait no, wait wait
- 4:09Speaker 3: they are the La Queens. Wait no, it was in
- 4:11Speaker 3: Queens alight, the La Queen's Wait hold on no now,
- 4:16Speaker 3: I clicked on something of somebody jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge,
- 4:18Speaker 3: so hold on naked nut John from brooklyn Bridge.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I didn't make it.
- 4:25Speaker 3: I don't know. I'm trying to click on that. It
- 4:29Speaker 3: was La, so it does track, but it was the La.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Queen's like, I'm not trying to not in Queens, not
- 4:36Speaker 3: in Queens. The New York brooklyn Bridge thing threw me off.
- 4:40Speaker 4: I did see that. I think he I think it's
- 4:41Speaker 4: an uber each driver and he jumped off, trying to
- 4:43Speaker 4: the bag as a parachute.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Does he trying to make a statement.
- 4:47Speaker 4: I don't think it went great.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Is he alive?
- 4:51Speaker 4: I can't imagine the phone here.
- 4:58Speaker 3: This is the lead. An unhit just forty four year
- 5:01Speaker 3: old naked man jumped off the top of the Brooklyn
- 5:03Speaker 3: Bridge Sunday afternoon in front of shocked onlookers and miraculously
- 5:08Speaker 3: survived him.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Good for him.
- 5:11Speaker 3: They keep calling him a nut job and the they're like,
- 5:13Speaker 3: he's on hinge, he's a nut job. This is great journalism.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Well, I mean a little bit. Yeah, But should we
- 5:21Speaker 4: like delivery?
- 5:24Speaker 2: He was naked? I just I want to know. This
- 5:28Speaker 2: shouldn't be where my mind goes. But my my question
- 5:30Speaker 2: is so like was he naked before he got to
- 5:33Speaker 2: the he wrote?
- 5:35Speaker 3: He dis wrote it said on the thing that he
- 5:38Speaker 3: climbed on the bridge, got on top of the bridge,
- 5:43Speaker 3: affixed multiple flags on top of it, and then took
- 5:46Speaker 3: off his clothing.
- 5:47Speaker 4: That's dude, But I'm not trying to statement heard.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Yeah, what were the flags?
- 5:52Speaker 3: See, I don't think the statement was heard because I
- 5:54Speaker 3: can't tell you what the flag was.
- 5:57Speaker 4: He jumped from that far that was that's a long jump.
- 6:02Speaker 4: That's a far fall naked. He better have clenched, right wasted?
- 6:09Speaker 2: I Yeah, the flap, the flap that's going to hit
- 6:12Speaker 2: when he when his goes on the water.
- 6:16Speaker 4: That is nuts.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah, can we say that nuts job? Also, that guy
- 6:22Speaker 2: do you.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Bash him in the chat said cannon balls?
- 6:27Speaker 2: What a callback already six minutes in. Wait, so, but
- 6:31Speaker 2: getting on top of a bridge and then disrobing then
- 6:35Speaker 2: that seems inefficient but also impressive. Spider Man can't do that?
- 6:42Speaker 3: Who's you never know? Has he ever tried it?
- 6:44Speaker 2: That's in the next one great movie by the.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Way, Yeah, he better clenched because what is that? What
- 6:53Speaker 4: movie is that from? It's like to clench or it rushes,
- 6:59Speaker 4: I don't know movie. But Water finds Away it does
- 7:01Speaker 4: what you gotta clinch it.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Goes inside you don't clip that price? Is that why?
- 7:11Speaker 2: You the least funny I've tried to ever be on
- 7:14Speaker 2: the show.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Getting clipped.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Goes inside them?
- 7:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it's just dead.
- 7:26Speaker 2: That's that would be a crazy way to die.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Well have you seen that show back in the day?
- 7:32Speaker 4: That's where I heard that show that was on Spike.
- 7:35Speaker 2: It was like Spike like one of those chive TVs
- 7:39Speaker 2: on the bars and bring back Spike? Those are Whoever's
- 7:43Speaker 2: back TV? Where Quadruple all.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Right, Rescue Thousand Way.
- 7:53Speaker 3: To Die MythBusters was on or No.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Discover.
- 7:58Speaker 4: They did have like the they would do the ancient
- 8:00Speaker 4: Warrior compet like they just figure out which ancient warrior
- 8:04Speaker 4: more deadly or something like that, like Samuraiz versus.
- 8:08Speaker 2: That hole end. That whole TV seems like a channel,
- 8:11Speaker 2: seems like it would just be hours of all Right,
- 8:14Speaker 2: who would win a thousand sharks or a million kindergarteners
- 8:18Speaker 2: and like those animations just running at each other like
- 8:21Speaker 2: the sharks have legs. Also like like there's there's a
- 8:25Speaker 2: few things that I loved more back in the day
- 8:27Speaker 2: than being hungover on a Sunday and watching not Spicy
- 8:31Speaker 2: but but bar Rescue. Yeah, and that guy just walking
- 8:34Speaker 2: into the worst restaurant. Oh, shut it down. You just
- 8:40Speaker 2: walked in, just just got here. This lemonade is disgusting.
- 8:46Speaker 4: I watched more episodes of Bar Rescue than I like
- 8:49Speaker 4: to have. I think I've watched them all there was.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Have you watched them?
- 8:52Speaker 2: Probably so he's like opened up his own.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Like like, I'm sure I don't have a show where
- 8:58Speaker 3: I could just go in and just be means whoever
- 9:00Speaker 3: I want? Yeah, like Bar Rescue or Gordon Ramsey.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Kitchen Nightmare is good. It's like a little bit more upscale.
- 9:06Speaker 4: Yeah, what is it?
- 9:09Speaker 2: You said some more plate? Well is it? Are you stpid? Was?
- 9:17Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Man?
- 9:19Speaker 2: John Tafferty though, And he did he like he went
- 9:22Speaker 2: like a restaurant not far from where I grew up
- 9:25Speaker 2: in like Stone Mountain, Georgia. And it was like, yeah, dude,
- 9:29Speaker 2: of course that place sucks, don't It's not going to
- 9:31Speaker 2: stay on top of the mountain. It was nothing was
- 9:33Speaker 2: on top of the mountains.
- 9:35Speaker 4: That hotel.
- 9:38Speaker 2: At all? It is.
- 9:39Speaker 4: We had to drive up hill.
- 9:40Speaker 3: It's kind of like Chattahoochee's in the northern southern part
- 9:46Speaker 3: of Georgia.
- 9:48Speaker 2: What happened.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Yeah, well, you're trying to explain to us where something
- 9:51Speaker 4: was in Georgia and you said the northern southern part
- 9:53Speaker 4: said pretty much.
- 9:55Speaker 3: You said that you tried to caslight you.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Oh did it work, yeah, a little bit. I'm very
- 10:02Speaker 2: weak minded.
- 10:02Speaker 4: So national anthems, that's anthem? Did they she said, cannibals?
- 10:07Speaker 3: No, no, no, she they the three of them just
- 10:12Speaker 3: butchered it. You don't know, maybe one of them did
- 10:14Speaker 3: say it, like majorly butchered it. And I always love
- 10:17Speaker 3: when they go do shots of the crowd, because you're
- 10:21Speaker 3: wrong for that, and you know you are, Like the
- 10:24Speaker 3: directors in the truck are definitely back there, like get
- 10:26Speaker 3: this guy well, and they're like trying not to laugh. Well,
- 10:29Speaker 3: it is women's baseball.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Which is different, right, but baseball cameramen, Are we allowed
- 10:34Speaker 2: to say the H word on here?
- 10:37Speaker 3: Hell? No?
- 10:38Speaker 2: Those are the horniest men on earth, it is. They
- 10:41Speaker 2: are just I don't know if we're allowed to stay here.
- 10:45Speaker 2: We talked about this. They're just like cameraman, I want
- 10:48Speaker 2: to hear a live feed. It's like, all right, you
- 10:51Speaker 2: got to break into one count, paying the crowd, zoom in,
- 10:54Speaker 2: zoom in, and it's like.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Buddy, it's always on it.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Yet it's always on some and that, like it's just
- 11:02Speaker 2: it seems like a lot. It seems like it's just
- 11:04Speaker 2: baseball too.
- 11:04Speaker 4: They're just following orders.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Yeah, probably that's why I want to hear the truck.
- 11:07Speaker 4: But you're right, I've never heard it explained exactly like that.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Baseball are very horny.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. She's got a hot dog cut to it.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Just missed a home run. Who cares, it's a nine
- 11:21Speaker 2: to three game. No one cares about the Guardians.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Cube, the chicken, the tink top.
- 11:26Speaker 2: It's every every game.
- 11:29Speaker 4: It really is. And it's not. It's it's every sport.
- 11:33Speaker 2: It's mainly baseball.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Football, does it too? Especially college football? College football does
- 11:38Speaker 4: it a lot.
- 11:39Speaker 2: That's true too, That very true. What was the redhead
- 11:44Speaker 2: from l s U that one time? I think it
- 11:45Speaker 2: was a Bama game And then they were like assumed
- 11:47Speaker 2: and she was like.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Well, back in the day, the FSU girls, they were
- 11:54Speaker 4: always on it. And then I give it. Who was
- 11:56Speaker 4: the announcer of the game, She.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Got a whole It was Brent Musburg speaking.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Of horny Lord, he needed a chill so far.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Bama, Florida State knows Bama Notre Dame the national championship.
- 12:10Speaker 2: When AJ mccartten's wife was on there, Good God, the
- 12:16Speaker 2: national television Hello young man, if you're in Alabama, pick
- 12:21Speaker 2: up a football, be the quarterback. And I was like,
- 12:23Speaker 2: good God, Andre, serious question, not trying to be funny. Oh,
- 12:27Speaker 2: I have the prefaces. I feel like when they when
- 12:30Speaker 2: they showed all three yes, because I feel like there
- 12:32Speaker 2: was two of them at.
- 12:33Speaker 3: First, yeah, and then I feel like at first I
- 12:35Speaker 3: saw the one right and then there was like two
- 12:39Speaker 3: over to the side. Okay, what's your question.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Did you think that one of them had to have
- 12:43Speaker 2: been doing sign language because I was like, oh, she
- 12:46Speaker 2: must be doing the no no. And they just all
- 12:49Speaker 2: kept singing. They all kept say they all sounded like
- 12:51Speaker 2: they were deaf.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that was tough.
- 12:54Speaker 4: We need to see the video. Yeah, And I think
- 12:56Speaker 4: we're kind of missing a really big point of this conversation.
- 12:59Speaker 4: There's a women's professional baseball league.
- 13:01Speaker 3: It was like the debut of it yesterday.
- 13:04Speaker 2: That's not the first time the league of their own
- 13:06Speaker 2: was a based on true story.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Yeah, and they the specific one that we're talking about.
- 13:12Speaker 3: It was like the debut of it. Yeah, fun and
- 13:15Speaker 3: they decided to get those three ladies to do the nation.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It was a cool moment for the the old lady
- 13:21Speaker 2: who threw out the first pitch from like four feet away. Yeah,
- 13:24Speaker 2: I thought that, And I also watched the league of
- 13:25Speaker 2: their own.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Well that's kind of fun that it had no idea
- 13:28Speaker 4: this leg was starting.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Yeah, the La Queens get the home field advantage and
- 13:33Speaker 3: they went in the eight over the New York tight.
- 13:36Speaker 4: So this is so it's got to be something where
- 13:38Speaker 4: do they what talent pull what they pulling from, because
- 13:41Speaker 4: like there's no is there women's baseball baseball Like growing up,
- 13:46Speaker 4: I'm assuming most of its softball.
- 13:48Speaker 3: So there's a girl I don't really actually know, like
- 13:51Speaker 3: because again.
- 13:52Speaker 4: And the only thing that's different I just did softball, So.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I didn't know that there was like a women's baseball
- 13:58Speaker 3: league that was going on.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I think that war.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Money Buddy Davis. Yeah, she's playing on it.
- 14:07Speaker 2: She pitched in like the she was like good, she
- 14:10Speaker 2: threw like part of than me. I'm not making a
- 14:13Speaker 2: joke there either. You know how they do it like
- 14:16Speaker 2: on the Liberal tiars like she throws seventy six miles
- 14:18Speaker 2: an hour. Yeah, it's like it's the equivalent.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Of like, so there's four teams Boston. Nope, it's not Boston,
- 14:28Speaker 3: Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Brother, there's no chance they made a league and they
- 14:32Speaker 2: were just gonna go cross country traveling the whole time.
- 14:35Speaker 4: I mean, it could be like the It could be
- 14:37Speaker 4: like UFL, where they're affiliated with the city, but they
- 14:40Speaker 4: all they're all located in one location.
- 14:43Speaker 3: So they're all going to play at the neutral Robin
- 14:45Speaker 3: Roberts Stadium in Springfield. Each club will pay fifteen played
- 14:49Speaker 3: fifteen regular season games.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Bet on it.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Yeah, that was the first time I heard that, like
- 14:56Speaker 4: the UFL, because I think they're all they're all in.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Is it Birmingham, No, Birmingham got shut down.
- 15:02Speaker 4: They got shut down? Okay, well they're all in one location.
- 15:04Speaker 4: It used to be Birmingham, right, I don't know. Yeah,
- 15:07Speaker 4: I didn't watch it. How do you know it is
- 15:10Speaker 4: shut down?
- 15:10Speaker 2: Then I know that Birmingham will got shut down because
- 15:12Speaker 2: a bunch of people on Twitter are like, I can't
- 15:14Speaker 2: believe this. It's well, you'll figure it out because there's
- 15:17Speaker 2: other stuff to do. I mean, spree time. There's like
- 15:20Speaker 2: fifteen thousand people going out there, like Yeah, your life
- 15:23Speaker 2: will move on, You'll be fine.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Well, I trust everybody had a good weekend.
- 15:28Speaker 2: We can't talk about Spider Man. Huh, we can't talk
- 15:30Speaker 2: about Spider Man.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Well, we can talk about it. We got three hours, buddy,
- 15:33Speaker 4: So we got three hours. We got a lot of
- 15:36Speaker 4: sports happening this week, but not a lot that happened
- 15:39Speaker 4: this weekend. But yeah, a little bit to talk to you.
- 15:41Speaker 4: I mean, now, let's you. We got a big commitment,
- 15:43Speaker 4: we got a big news in the baseball front.
- 15:46Speaker 2: They loaded. It's they're pretty.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Decent, the Dodgers making big moves, first first in a while.
- 15:56Speaker 4: But what alder you're not happy about it?
- 15:58Speaker 2: They need.
- 16:00Speaker 3: They need to be stopped.
- 16:02Speaker 2: And also, I'll just say this now, if you're gonna
- 16:05Speaker 2: come in the chat or if you're going to say
- 16:07Speaker 2: this on social media about well, then be mad at
- 16:10Speaker 2: all the other owners. Shut up. Just shut up. Let
- 16:12Speaker 2: me be mad. In general. I'm so like, yes as
- 16:16Speaker 2: a whole. Yeah, you can sit here. Those are valid
- 16:19Speaker 2: points that like the other owners could have made a trade.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Totally get it. But you know what's really annoying. I
- 16:25Speaker 2: found this out yesterday. You know the Dodgers they are
- 16:28Speaker 2: they went bankrupt this year, and so they had like, oh, sorry,
- 16:31Speaker 2: we can wait till.
- 16:32Speaker 3: You know what you keep doing. Mack keeps trying to
- 16:35Speaker 3: wrap up this. He's done this several times. He trying
- 16:37Speaker 3: to wrap up the segment and then you go on
- 16:39Speaker 3: a tangent.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Yeah, but you gotta save it, man.
- 16:41Speaker 2: We gott need to hear about.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Finish that point. And we will do that when we
- 16:48Speaker 4: come back right here on off the bench, Off the bench,
- 16:52Speaker 4: all right, Uh do you need a roof?
- 16:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 16:55Speaker 4: Well everyone do you want? Everybody does need a roof.
- 16:57Speaker 4: I was singing a little jingle early. I'm not going
- 16:59Speaker 4: to sing it free here because my voice isn't completely
- 17:01Speaker 4: warmed up but a sore throat for a month and
- 17:04Speaker 4: a half, so I'm not going to sing it. Go
- 17:06Speaker 4: to pelicanroof dot com. Pelican Roof that website for the
- 17:09Speaker 4: best roofing company in all of Louisiana, and I will
- 17:12Speaker 4: put that on anything. So we're talking roof for pairs,
- 17:15Speaker 4: complete roof replacements. If you want gutters, whatever it is,
- 17:18Speaker 4: go go check them out, give them a call. Offices
- 17:21Speaker 4: in Lafayette, offices in that So what does that mean

- 18:07Speaker 3: Don't you know you about?
- 18:10Speaker 2: About? A place to.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Play Off the Bench with Hester and Flynn, presented by
- 18:15Speaker 1: Buy You Automotive, put out of things that you soon
- 18:22Speaker 1: to play the way.
- 18:27Speaker 2: A Revolution proma.
- 18:31Speaker 4: All right, welcome back here off the Bench Monday show
- 18:34Speaker 4: probb you b Buy You Automotive by Automotive dot Com.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Uh.
- 18:39Speaker 4: I used to shred this song on rock band back
- 18:43Speaker 4: in the day.
- 18:43Speaker 3: I thought you were gonna say actual guitar.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Oh no, now, I couldn't do the strings. It was
- 18:49Speaker 4: all about those those five beautiful buddies at the end
- 18:53Speaker 4: of a classic guitar can't remember if this was rock
- 18:55Speaker 4: band or guitar hero. I'm pretty sure.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Wait, no, I don't know.
- 18:59Speaker 4: I think you was rock band because that I think
- 19:01Speaker 4: you could sing this one.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Which one was through the Fire in the Flames?
- 19:05Speaker 4: That was rock band?
- 19:06Speaker 2: That song ruled.
- 19:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm trying to say, I'm trying to I'm trying
- 19:12Speaker 4: to play it in my head right now. Can you
- 19:14Speaker 4: sing it?
- 19:14Speaker 2: No? I mean I can't. I think it's still one
- 19:17Speaker 2: of my top songs on Spotify.
- 19:19Speaker 4: That I'm pretty sure this one's rock band because I'm
- 19:20Speaker 4: pretty like there's some higher notes in here, some big
- 19:23Speaker 4: notes you got to hit with that microphone, and it
- 19:25Speaker 4: was pretty tough the drum band, the microphone in the drums, and.
- 19:34Speaker 2: I think it was guitar hero.
- 19:35Speaker 4: I do have a buddy that has put together an
- 19:39Speaker 4: old rock band set. Now it's a little bit harder
- 19:41Speaker 4: to do than it used to be, like through the
- 19:43Speaker 4: computer like so it's you know, how you can get
- 19:46Speaker 4: the games that you can get like that one chip
- 19:49Speaker 4: every video game ever made, Like he did that with
- 19:52Speaker 4: rock band, So it was a little bit harder to
- 19:53Speaker 4: do with the actual guitar and I find old school
- 19:56Speaker 4: guitars and the drum set and the microphone.
- 19:59Speaker 2: That's good. That's kind of crazy. Yeah, you should do that.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Talk about him press the chicks back. That's what I
- 20:08Speaker 4: have to play this on expert level.
- 20:12Speaker 3: That was like one by Metallica on Guitar Hero Legends
- 20:16Speaker 3: of Rock. Everybody always wanted to be able to do
- 20:19Speaker 3: that one on excerpt.
- 20:20Speaker 4: And then that guy finally dropped that YouTube ye of
- 20:22Speaker 4: him doing it, and.
- 20:25Speaker 3: It looked like he was just button mashing a man,
- 20:28Speaker 3: like he was just.
- 20:30Speaker 4: A man among boys.
- 20:32Speaker 2: We need a camera on you at all times long ago,
- 20:34Speaker 2: because that was I don't know why that was so funny.
- 20:36Speaker 4: What's that There's a movie where there's a movie where
- 20:39Speaker 4: Vince Vaughn has a guitar Hero of battle.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Oh they're on the island.
- 20:46Speaker 4: No, they're taking a couple.
- 20:49Speaker 3: But he was like, I know my truth because he
- 20:51Speaker 3: got a bit by the shark. But it was just
- 20:54Speaker 3: like a little tiny like that. I mean, I watched
- 20:57Speaker 3: him chuckle at it.
- 20:59Speaker 2: It's like, I feel like it's one of those movies.
- 21:01Speaker 3: His password was like astastic. I guess security alarm was
- 21:06Speaker 3: going off, but he had to call the whole company
- 21:08Speaker 3: and be like it's astastic.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Yeah you didn't like them, I'm assuming you didn't.
- 21:13Speaker 2: I did not, But it reminds me of like I
- 21:16Speaker 2: remember like growing up, like like Willie Walker would be
- 21:18Speaker 2: on TV and I guess I'm watching this for the
- 21:20Speaker 2: next two hours, like a couple of retreats like that.
- 21:22Speaker 2: It's like it's on TV, and I'm like, well, I
- 21:23Speaker 2: guess this is gonna be on TV.
- 21:24Speaker 4: I didn't have you pegged as like a big movie
- 21:26Speaker 4: critic like that. I thought you could just like watch
- 21:29Speaker 4: a movie and enjoy it, even.
- 21:30Speaker 2: If it's not Like that movie is not a good
- 21:32Speaker 2: one in my opinion, but I know that a lot
- 21:35Speaker 2: of people like it. There's a lot of movies that
- 21:36Speaker 2: I like.
- 21:37Speaker 4: There's a lot of movies that I like that probably
- 21:38Speaker 4: aren't good movies.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think that one's I just didn't think
- 21:41Speaker 2: that was funny. You know, it's an underrated one with
- 21:43Speaker 2: Vince van is uh what is the internship him? And yeah,
- 21:48Speaker 2: that was pretty good.
- 21:49Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know if I've seen that since
- 21:51Speaker 4: the theaters, but I remember last week.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I saw it in theaters.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw it in theater, well, at the Dollar Theater.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a dollar theater.
- 21:57Speaker 3: There was one in Round Rock back in the day.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Pretty sure that came out during the time where I
- 22:01Speaker 4: played football in Green Bay, Wisconsin. So not a lot
- 22:04Speaker 4: to do. Fair saw all the movies, Yeah, did you sometimes?
- 22:08Speaker 4: Slice all did?
- 22:10Speaker 2: We went to a nine thirty Am movie yesterday and
- 22:12Speaker 2: it was the most underrated time.
- 22:15Speaker 3: There's no one there.
- 22:16Speaker 4: No, well it was.
- 22:17Speaker 2: It wasn't packed. But also like Spider Man was showing
- 22:20Speaker 2: in seven theaters in like they had like thirty minute intervals,
- 22:23Speaker 2: and it was like literally like one side of Visit
- 22:27Speaker 2: Perkins Row on one side, Like if you walk in
- 22:30Speaker 2: and go to the left, every single theater is like
- 22:32Speaker 2: three of them they were all Spider Man. They he
- 22:35Speaker 2: took a right. I think three of like the eights
- 22:37Speaker 2: were Spider Man. But yeah, nine thirty Am, which I
- 22:42Speaker 2: never heard of, its way too early. So you went
- 22:44Speaker 2: crushing popcorn and diet coke. I was putting butter on
- 22:49Speaker 2: the popcorn. I was like, lady, we got a problem here.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I hate it, but I mean so it was like
- 22:54Speaker 2: I was like we always some breakfast sandwiches in here.
- 22:55Speaker 2: They're like, no, your theater's on the right, A right,
- 22:58Speaker 2: A Glizzie for break Dude, I there were people in
- 23:03Speaker 2: there that were eating full on like nachos with holl opinions.
- 23:06Speaker 2: That's crazy at nine to thirty in the morning.
- 23:08Speaker 3: See. I feel like if it's a situation like this
- 23:10Speaker 3: where we've been up since like, yeah, four thirty, right,
- 23:14Speaker 3: I feel like at that point, like you've already been
- 23:16Speaker 3: awake for sure a while.
- 23:20Speaker 4: So is the free church, Nacho is the movie theater
- 23:26Speaker 4: kind of like the airport a little bit? Oh you can,
- 23:29Speaker 4: time doesn't time stand still? Time doesn't really count at
- 23:33Speaker 4: the movie theater because I've never even thought it, like
- 23:36Speaker 4: in my brain thought about let's wake up and go
- 23:39Speaker 4: to the movie theater.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Right. Well, we were so okay hear me out on this,
- 23:42Speaker 2: though I don't want to sound like Will Farell and
- 23:46Speaker 2: old school. We had a lovely little sunday.
- 23:49Speaker 3: It was.
- 23:49Speaker 2: We got there at nine thirty. First off, the previews
- 23:51Speaker 2: for Spider Man for like thirty.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Minutes there long. Yeah, they been long, did you see?
- 23:56Speaker 2: So? I texted Cassie because she was going all right,
- 23:58Speaker 2: I needed her to help me with something for social
- 24:00Speaker 2: She's like, sorry, we're going to see Spider Man. I
- 24:02Speaker 2: was like, oh, cool, we are too. She sends a
- 24:04Speaker 2: picture of her and her brother and her brother's full
- 24:06Speaker 2: on wearing a Spider Man mask in the theater, like
- 24:09Speaker 2: an optima to watch it. No, I don't know if
- 24:11Speaker 2: you can see through the adult brother by the way, yeah,
- 24:14Speaker 2: human adult, We're not gonna shave him. But so then
- 24:18Speaker 2: we got done with the movie, like twelve fifteen. Yeah,
- 24:21Speaker 2: what's the Sam's Club? A lot, got the car wash,
- 24:26Speaker 2: got some rotisserie chicken, talk Dodgers.
- 24:31Speaker 3: I don't know, Okay, give me the signal, let's talk Dodgers.
- 24:37Speaker 2: It was great, though, I highly.
- 24:38Speaker 4: Recommend, well, since we are time clock management is my thing.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Before we did go to the Dodgers, and I do like,
- 24:49Speaker 4: how was the movie?
- 24:49Speaker 2: It's awesome. It was like, there's there's a lot. I said,
- 24:53Speaker 2: it was like twelve out of ten, which is like
- 24:55Speaker 2: a little bit of an exaggeration. There's like a lull
- 24:57Speaker 2: and like the third act or whatever you want to
- 24:59Speaker 2: call it, but it's still it was. I thought the
- 25:01Speaker 2: best one that that they've done with Tom Holland. It
- 25:03Speaker 2: was incredible. I thought it was great.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Okay, I don't know if I'm caught up on Spider
- 25:10Speaker 4: Man movies.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Do. The Tom Holland ones are the best ones. I
- 25:12Speaker 2: don't care what nobody sense.
- 25:14Speaker 4: How do they fit in the time? What timeline do
- 25:16Speaker 4: they fit in? That I have to watch my movies,
- 25:19Speaker 4: like in order I got to make sense.
- 25:21Speaker 2: To me. Marvel is like it's too much. That's I
- 25:24Speaker 2: can't there's too many of them. There's too many of them.
- 25:26Speaker 2: I cannot be doing all that.
- 25:27Speaker 4: But there's multiple universes, right, I don't know.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so that's why there's different Spider Man's right,
- 25:32Speaker 3: and then they.
- 25:33Speaker 2: All three were in the last one or something. I
- 25:34Speaker 2: don't know, but I thought it was the best one
- 25:36Speaker 2: out of the Tom Holland ones. You guys, Yeah, you
- 25:40Speaker 2: got an American accent, the crazy come on now, the
- 25:45Speaker 2: punishers in it. I mean, I don't know his lore,
- 25:48Speaker 2: but I thought it was really good.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Oh way to spoil it, buddy.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Everyone knew that.
- 25:52Speaker 4: I have no idea. It's not like I don't even
- 25:54Speaker 4: know what timeline it's in. I told you I'm watching
- 25:56Speaker 4: throughout the Marvel timeline with my family, so I can't
- 26:00Speaker 4: scare you. At we just watched the first ant Man, okay,
- 26:05Speaker 4: so we're like, that's like ten movies we're like ten
- 26:09Speaker 4: or eleven movies in though, like it's it's a lot,
- 26:12Speaker 4: it's a lot of watches.
- 26:13Speaker 2: I like the first An Man, it was good.
- 26:16Speaker 4: What scooting my chair up?
- 26:19Speaker 2: Sorry, I love I love Man.
- 26:24Speaker 4: I say that water a band's But all right, look
- 26:26Speaker 4: we're gonna go to break and when we come back,
- 26:28Speaker 4: I promise you we're gonna get this show finally started.
- 26:31Speaker 4: And we're gonna talk a little bit of Dodgers because
- 26:33Speaker 4: this guy can't shut up about him at the break.
- 26:36Speaker 4: So stick with us right here and off the bench,
- 26:38Speaker 4: off the bench, all right, canniball season, not like not

- 27:56Speaker 3: You you are not me.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Leaks that I will go to Just sen sani rise.
- 28:12Speaker 4: All right, welcome back here off that bench Monday morning.
- 28:15Speaker 4: We appreciate you spending time with us this morning, whether
- 28:18Speaker 4: you're commuting to work, whether you're at home, whether you're
- 28:20Speaker 4: already at the office, whatever it is.
- 28:21Speaker 2: What so much tiller than me to sit down? I'll stand.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Anyway. Thank y'all for joining the show. It's Chris Marler.
- 28:30Speaker 4: It's the voice of our social media manager. Yeah.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I don't like them. I like to say director, but
- 28:36Speaker 2: it's man director.
- 28:39Speaker 4: The director of social Media.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I've been directing.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Got a bone to pick with you, I know you do.
- 28:47Speaker 4: I only cost a dollar.
- 28:49Speaker 2: That sucked. But here's the thing, Matt.
- 28:52Speaker 3: When I saw that to post, because you're top five
- 28:54Speaker 3: of U R five.
- 28:55Speaker 2: I was not going to remake the graphic.
- 29:00Speaker 4: Why would you know? Would you want to do that?
- 29:02Speaker 2: It'd taken way too.
- 29:03Speaker 4: Long, this copy paste every year?
- 29:05Speaker 3: You know what you doing work?
- 29:08Speaker 2: That's rude. For one, getting text at nine to thirty
- 29:13Speaker 2: pm last night about Kevin Guiseman we got to make
- 29:16Speaker 2: a graphic for it. I'm like, it's Sunday night, Yeah,
- 29:19Speaker 2: Kevin Gosman trying to watch make it a Frey dog
- 29:22Speaker 2: gal here? How about that? Also, it's going to.
- 29:27Speaker 3: The Cubs by the way, if you're wondering.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Which I do like because now he's with Bregman. That's
- 29:30Speaker 2: that's kind of fun for LSU fans. But I just
- 29:32Speaker 2: it was one of those things where I was like, Sunday,
- 29:34Speaker 2: We're like, we're getting into the season, so it's gonna
- 29:37Speaker 2: be one.
- 29:37Speaker 4: Of those You were tired because you woke up earlier
- 29:39Speaker 4: to go see Spider Man.
- 29:40Speaker 2: You're up early. This show is rewired me flipping tires
- 29:48Speaker 2: not really, though, not really. I should never have sent
- 29:51Speaker 2: you a picture of that.
- 29:52Speaker 4: That was awful.
- 29:52Speaker 3: There was also eading as a picture of that tire
- 29:55Speaker 3: could have been the worst.
- 29:56Speaker 4: Thing that it was. No one's ever seen a fake
- 29:58Speaker 4: tire flipping machine. It's a half of maybe a third
- 30:02Speaker 4: of a tire. It's half of a tire.
- 30:04Speaker 3: It's connected to a machine like a four wheeler tire.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Okay, so here's the thing, guys, you set. I haven't
- 30:12Speaker 2: done it. You know why I haven't done it because
- 30:14Speaker 2: it's not and you have to flip. It means you
- 30:16Speaker 2: have to walk around. I'm not trying to do all that,
- 30:19Speaker 2: ye Cardio. It's well anyway, anything else, you guys want
- 30:26Speaker 2: to bring.
- 30:26Speaker 4: One team that's been doing a lot of working out
- 30:29Speaker 4: the front office, the ownership group, the evil villains of
- 30:35Speaker 4: all of professional sport right now, the Dodgers. How do
- 30:40Speaker 4: you say this guy's first name?
- 30:41Speaker 3: Always?
- 30:42Speaker 4: I want to say it's Terrek, the guy that was
- 30:46Speaker 4: too cowardly to pitch for his country. True, true, Well
- 30:50Speaker 4: he did a little bit, not enough, not enough. I
- 30:54Speaker 4: should have pitched more. He's a coward and now he.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Goes to the Dodgers like a true coward.
- 31:00Speaker 1: True.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Now everybody is very upset, and I can tell you're
- 31:03Speaker 4: a little bit unhinged. I know that Alandra is very
- 31:08Speaker 4: frustrated with a situation. As I want to say this
- 31:13Speaker 4: before y'all get into yours, I'm not as mad as
- 31:16Speaker 4: y'all are. You know why?
- 31:17Speaker 3: Tell me why?
- 31:18Speaker 2: Because you don't care?
- 31:19Speaker 4: Because it's going to bring America together to.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Go against the Dodgers're going to bring us all together. Yeah, right,
- 31:27Speaker 3: you think the Dodgers are kind of like a sleeper cell.
- 31:30Speaker 4: They're a sleeper cell ring to the left and the right.
- 31:32Speaker 4: We're going to come together to cheer against the Dodgers. Now,
- 31:36Speaker 4: we see this in all sports. People hated the Patriots
- 31:38Speaker 4: for a long time, people hated the Yankees for a
- 31:40Speaker 4: long time, people hated well, not as many people hated
- 31:43Speaker 4: Tiger Woods, but he was dominant and he brought us
- 31:45Speaker 4: together in a different way because we were cheering for him.
- 31:48Speaker 4: So in sports, whether you cheer against somebody or for somebody,
- 31:53Speaker 4: it makes you passionate. How excited are people going to
- 31:56Speaker 4: be if, now it's a big if, if somebody beats
- 32:01Speaker 4: the Dodgers.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Well, we had last year, we had a cheer for
- 32:03Speaker 2: a Canadian team to do.
- 32:04Speaker 4: It, and they almost did well. They were like two
- 32:06Speaker 4: outs away from doing it.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Wow, we looked it up. There were actually more Americans
- 32:12Speaker 3: on the Blue Jays than on the Dodgers.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean well really, yeah, we looked it up.
- 32:18Speaker 2: How many Japanese people did? The Blue Jays have no
- 32:21Speaker 2: idea because the Dodgers.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Have us several and now they have Trek that is
- 32:26Speaker 3: that starting.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Rotation is There's no chance I could win a spelling
- 32:30Speaker 2: bee with those names. I'm oh tough they are. Here's
- 32:36Speaker 2: what I don't like about it. I understand the idea
- 32:39Speaker 2: that there's everyone has the opportunity to sign those guys
- 32:41Speaker 2: and make moves and blah blah blah. I'm just tired
- 32:44Speaker 2: of one team doing it. I'm just I'm very tired
- 32:47Speaker 2: of watching the Dodgers. And I don't know. I watched
- 32:50Speaker 2: a Sunday night game yesterday Sunday afternoon. Out there they're
- 32:54Speaker 2: playing the Red Sox Massive Massive, you know, East Coast
- 32:58Speaker 2: West Coast rematch, the twenty eighteen World Series Big Game.
- 33:02Speaker 2: There's nobody in the sands. I mean, like I it's
- 33:04Speaker 2: it's like household and so so I don't have A.
- 33:09Speaker 2: I don't feel like it's like, oh my god, what
- 33:11Speaker 2: a massive move for the Dodgers organization.
- 33:15Speaker 3: It's not like it doesn't do anything really for them. No,
- 33:19Speaker 3: it's not like, oh, big get Eric's school going to
- 33:22Speaker 3: the Dodgers, Like y'all have so many big gits and
- 33:24Speaker 3: I and like like the like.
- 33:25Speaker 2: And here's what I saw people arguing about this test
- 33:27Speaker 2: day and like somebody that lived in Atlanta for a
- 33:29Speaker 2: long time and the Freddy Freeman thing him going to
- 33:31Speaker 2: the Dodgers. They like the Braves, had the chance to
- 33:36Speaker 2: resign Freddy Freeman, they chose to go with Matt Olsen instead.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Matt Olson's been better than Freddy Freeman for one two
- 33:42Speaker 2: Freddy Freeman's agent screwed over that entire deal on purpose
- 33:46Speaker 2: to get like one extra year for like fifteen million.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I mean, like he could have easily ended his career
- 33:52Speaker 2: in Atlanta and he got like like this, everything they
- 33:55Speaker 2: have done feels just shoddy, and I don't like it.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Like it feels it feels like they're not doing anything wrong.
- 34:02Speaker 4: They're not doing anything wrong, Yeah, but like they're just
- 34:04Speaker 4: better than everybody else that's doing what they're doing, creating their.
- 34:07Speaker 2: No there's great their salary actual they have over eight
- 34:09Speaker 2: billion dollars in payroll. And also, by the way, they
- 34:12Speaker 2: signed show Hates that seven hundred million dollars deal, and
- 34:14Speaker 2: they got to backlog the rest of it and put
- 34:17Speaker 2: like like most of it's later on his career so
- 34:20Speaker 2: they can continue to sign on these people. It's just like,
- 34:22Speaker 2: it just feels like they're doing stuff that no one
- 34:24Speaker 2: else is doing, and they be super creative and smart,
- 34:26Speaker 2: but it's still they're the only ones doing it, and
- 34:29Speaker 2: that's not good for baseball.
- 34:30Speaker 3: They have one point one billion dollars and deferred money.
- 34:33Speaker 4: That's insane, like into the twenty forties too, right, yeah, So,
- 34:37Speaker 4: I mean they are they're allowed to do this, so
- 34:40Speaker 4: they're doing it better than everybody. But there's no other
- 34:43Speaker 4: team that has the brand right now that will convince
- 34:46Speaker 4: the top players to take deferred payments into the twenty forties.
- 34:50Speaker 2: And here's here's the other part that I have a
- 34:52Speaker 2: hard time like accepting. They declared bankruptcy like not long ago,
- 34:58Speaker 2: right yeah, right, so, but they clearly are making money,
- 35:01Speaker 2: otherwise they would not be able to make these types
- 35:03Speaker 2: of moves. But the MLB, starting in this January this
- 35:07Speaker 2: came out allowed them to be taxed like a bankrupt organization,
- 35:13Speaker 2: so they don't pay money on their TV rights, so
- 35:15Speaker 2: they get an extra sixty six million dollars this year.
- 35:18Speaker 2: That's wild, I mean, and like, so so again, what
- 35:21Speaker 2: are we doing? Like what why? Why is this allowed
- 35:24Speaker 2: for one team? I don't I just don't get it.
- 35:27Speaker 2: And it's again, it's also not good for baseball, Like
- 35:31Speaker 2: you get like I saw that the thing about you
- 35:32Speaker 2: know glass now, like the Rais didn't want to sign them. Sure,
- 35:35Speaker 2: and you should go get paid if you like in baseball,
- 35:37Speaker 2: you get a guaranteed contract that is life changing money
- 35:40Speaker 2: for you and generations of your family to come.
- 35:43Speaker 4: Like that's the question that actually needs to be examined,
- 35:48Speaker 4: is what they're doing good for baseball or bad for baseball?
- 35:52Speaker 4: And I gotta ask you if it's bad for baseball?
- 35:55Speaker 4: Is it bad for baseball fans because you think you
- 35:57Speaker 4: know the outcome or something you think you know the
- 35:59Speaker 4: answers to reality show? Maybe? But is it good for
- 36:03Speaker 4: baseball because I will watch to root against them if
- 36:07Speaker 4: you were rooting to geinst somebody actively, is that good
- 36:10Speaker 4: or bad for baseball?
- 36:11Speaker 2: Now?
- 36:11Speaker 4: I know they're going to a work stoppage probably next year.
- 36:14Speaker 4: But like, I'm not even going to pretend that I
- 36:16Speaker 4: know what that's all about. I can only imagine. I
- 36:19Speaker 4: can only imagine that this move is going to pretty
- 36:22Speaker 4: much guarantee that it does happen if there was any
- 36:24Speaker 4: question about it. But I think if you really like
- 36:28Speaker 4: look at it and examine it, is it good or
- 36:31Speaker 4: bad for baseball? Yeah, it's bad for the fact that
- 36:33Speaker 4: like they're just stockpiling. But look, they're not even they
- 36:37Speaker 4: I think they're is it the Brewers that have the
- 36:39Speaker 4: most wins in the Major League Bit they don't even
- 36:42Speaker 4: have the most wins in Major League Baseball right now.
- 36:43Speaker 2: I think there's like a half And that's like, that's
- 36:45Speaker 2: how it's hard for me to compare them to like
- 36:47Speaker 2: the late nineties Yankees because in like the early two thousands,
- 36:50Speaker 2: because they started buying a rod they started buying all
- 36:52Speaker 2: these like you know, you know, incredible players, which at
- 36:55Speaker 2: the time was like annoying. Didn't the Yankees win four
- 36:57Speaker 2: straight or like that?
- 36:59Speaker 4: No, they they win to or I know they were
- 37:01Speaker 4: winning a lot because they kept beating the Rangers in
- 37:03Speaker 4: the playoffs. That's fair.
- 37:04Speaker 3: I know, the Rodgers and Bruis are tied by the
- 37:06Speaker 3: way at sixty nine, the Rays.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Of sixty seven, the Rays of sixty five, So it's
- 37:10Speaker 4: not like the Dodgers are just games ahead of Red Soze.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Probably, I just like when it gets to the postseason,
- 37:22Speaker 2: I guess I would. I would have I really enjoy
- 37:24Speaker 2: when like postseason baseball is like lit and everyone's there
- 37:27Speaker 2: and it's it's like like you have great environments and
- 37:30Speaker 2: it feels like almost like a college football game, right,
- 37:32Speaker 2: like everyone is tuned in, everyone is fired up for it,
- 37:34Speaker 2: and like you know, rally towels and like every it
- 37:37Speaker 2: feels like must see television, appointment appointment television when you
- 37:41Speaker 2: have this much talent, like it's just an embarrassment of
- 37:45Speaker 2: riches on this roster and you look in the stands
- 37:49Speaker 2: and it's still half full with a marquee interleague game
- 37:53Speaker 2: like the Red Sox coming down, Like what I mean,
- 37:55Speaker 2: just people in LA don't deserve anything nice.
- 37:58Speaker 4: So this was in a better you'd be cool with it.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Yeah, Probably, No, I'd still would be mad because it's
- 38:03Speaker 2: still bad for baseball.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Or.
- 38:06Speaker 4: If they get for baseball, is this bad for baseball?
- 38:12Speaker 3: Considering the fact that there is a CBA that's expiring
- 38:18Speaker 3: in December, and that a lockout is very possible for
- 38:23Speaker 3: the MLB. I would say that this is maybe proof
- 38:26Speaker 3: that it's bad for baseball, like that this is what
- 38:29Speaker 3: they're upset about. Well what the CBA like really, what
- 38:32Speaker 3: they're trying to work through is like should we add
- 38:33Speaker 3: a cap? Should we not at a cap? And I
- 38:35Speaker 3: think that the consensus is like.
- 38:37Speaker 2: The players don't want one, right, but why would you?
- 38:40Speaker 4: Right?
- 38:40Speaker 3: Why would you're over here making a bunch of money,
- 38:43Speaker 3: like dude, dan ugluck. But in terms of like from
- 38:49Speaker 3: like an audience standpoint, I guess you're right that they're
- 38:53Speaker 3: not like fifteen games ahead of everybody, so it's not
- 38:57Speaker 3: making like that much of an impact on it. But
- 38:59Speaker 3: they have one and it's like, okay, so they are
- 39:05Speaker 3: tied with the with the person that has the most wins.
- 39:08Speaker 3: They're tied with the Brewers, who they did They did
- 39:10Speaker 3: well last season too, So it looks it's the same
- 39:14Speaker 3: thing when we talked about softball, kind of like it
- 39:18Speaker 3: was the same very apples to oranges, but it was
- 39:21Speaker 3: Texas and Texas Tech both back to back. Because those
- 39:25Speaker 3: programs are spending money and nobody else is spending money.
- 39:29Speaker 3: The Dodgers are spending money. I don't know how the
- 39:30Speaker 3: Brewers are out here being with young talent, but.
- 39:35Speaker 4: It's kind of like, I mean, they're they're they're the villains, right, Yeah, obviously,
- 39:39Speaker 4: and things are great when there's a hero and there's
- 39:42Speaker 4: a villain, right. But can I make it comparison a
- 39:45Speaker 4: little bit?
- 39:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 39:46Speaker 4: I mean maybe not from like the talent perspective, because
- 39:48Speaker 4: it's hard to stalk about talent in college football, but
- 39:51Speaker 4: like you're talking about it in a league with not
- 39:55Speaker 4: enough rules and you're going to try to outspend and overpay.
- 39:59Speaker 4: Kind of lsues that, right. I mean, they've for sure I.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Was spending a lot of money.
- 40:04Speaker 4: And America is going to be rooting against.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Right. I will say this is the worst point that
- 40:14Speaker 2: I'll make. I just saying something. Last night I sat
- 40:19Speaker 2: there and got my happy ass on the couch and
- 40:22Speaker 2: watched all nine innings for like the third time all
- 40:25Speaker 2: season of the Red Sox Dodgers game back, and I
- 40:28Speaker 2: hate watched, Like I love the Red Sox, but I
- 40:32Speaker 2: hate watch the Dodgers. It was so awkward because your
- 40:35Speaker 2: your friend, that's our neighbor. I'm just too loud in general,
- 40:39Speaker 2: that the Red Sox hit back to back to back
- 40:41Speaker 2: home runs to go up like five to three, and
- 40:43Speaker 2: I'm the third one. I went bag get the out.
- 40:46Speaker 2: And I'm in the back room and he's walking by,
- 40:50Speaker 2: putting his lawnmower up, and I'm just screaming get the out,
- 40:54Speaker 2: and he was like, Okay, sucks baseball. Base I thought
- 40:59Speaker 2: I was yelling at So I.
- 41:01Speaker 4: Think basically what we just decided was good for baseball. Yeah,
- 41:04Speaker 4: probably because you because you're gonna hate watch it.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:09Speaker 4: I did read something which was shocking to me. I
- 41:12Speaker 4: did learn. Now, I did not do this research myself.
- 41:15Speaker 4: I'm regurgitating, so if I regurgitate it improperly, I don't care.
- 41:20Speaker 4: So I guess. In twenty eleven, the Dodgers are almost
- 41:22Speaker 4: bankrupt and the Major League Baseball made an exception to
- 41:25Speaker 4: them on their rev share. Yeah, capped their revenue share.
- 41:28Speaker 4: That's still going on today. So they're capped at like
- 41:31Speaker 4: eighty four million dollars in their REV share, So all
- 41:35Speaker 4: other organizations have to pay I think it's forty eight
- 41:38Speaker 4: percent rev share they have to pay back to the
- 41:40Speaker 4: to the Major League for TV. They get capped and
- 41:43Speaker 4: so they have to make like they're making on an
- 41:45Speaker 4: average on other big market teams, high revenue teams. They're
- 41:48Speaker 4: making over like sixty to sixty five million dollars more
- 41:51Speaker 4: per year because of this rule that was put on
- 41:53Speaker 4: them in twenty eleven. Yeah, so they are making more money.
- 41:55Speaker 4: Is this right? You're smiling?
- 41:57Speaker 3: Yeah? Well no, because you mentioned that kind of earlier. Yeah,
- 42:01Speaker 3: that's why, because you do that. You didn't mention that,
- 42:07Speaker 3: not that much detail you went. Yeah, you went on me.
- 42:13Speaker 3: We're gonna gave us so much more detail than Christ.
- 42:17Speaker 4: Yeah, that's all I do. I'm a stitch edge.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Cannonball.
- 42:23Speaker 4: All right, Well, I think we decided to hear Dodgers
- 42:26Speaker 4: potentially good for base nothing else. It's something else, kind
- 42:29Speaker 4: of like the Soresby thing, like if you're gonna do it,
- 42:32Speaker 4: just break the system so bad that they force it
- 42:35Speaker 4: to be changed. So whatever, go win another one. But
- 42:38Speaker 4: we are all gonna be rooting against you. We're gonna
- 42:39Speaker 4: come together as America and root against America. Stick with
- 42:43Speaker 4: right off the bench. Also stick with Gordon mccurnin injury attorneys.

- 44:22Speaker 4: got really passionate, really heated. He was talking baseball like
- 44:25Speaker 4: you do you know? I know that training camp starts
- 44:28Speaker 4: this week for all the shoes. Saints have been in
- 44:29Speaker 4: training camp for almost a week now, so we're talking

- 44:34Speaker 2: My bad end up, That's all me.
- 44:39Speaker 4: Jess Bet. I saw something theday when I was at
- 44:42Speaker 4: the office. I was watching at the TV on just
- 44:45Speaker 4: kind of in the background. Just absolutely grabbed my attention.
- 44:51Speaker 4: It was a commercial for Applebee's. They got a new
- 44:56Speaker 4: special company. What is it, crazier before They have a
- 45:00Speaker 4: cheeseburger taco. Oh yeah, on a one tan.
- 45:07Speaker 3: Why are they putting all of that together?
- 45:10Speaker 4: We got seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar, Apple would smoke
- 45:13Speaker 4: big and pickles, spicy honey mustard inside of crispy fried one.
- 45:17Speaker 2: To so many cultures into I don't know.
- 45:21Speaker 4: What are we doing here? Does that do anything for anybody? Yes?
- 45:25Speaker 2: Yeah, And I can't say it on air.
- 45:29Speaker 4: It would do something to you after you eat it,
- 45:31Speaker 4: for sure. Look at my nipples. What an hour you've had?
- 45:37Speaker 3: Pause?
- 45:38Speaker 4: Like inside it goes inside of you and look at
- 45:42Speaker 4: my nipples. Good? Hey, Starting Thursday, you cannot say these
- 45:48Speaker 4: things before eight am because a lot of kids going
- 45:50Speaker 4: back to school, going back to school, kids go back
- 45:53Speaker 4: to school. So first hour we keep it clean on
- 45:55Speaker 4: this show. Yeah, Now it's kind of opposite. It's kind
- 46:00Speaker 4: of opposite during the summer because because are asleep. Yeah,
- 46:04Speaker 4: so we kind of got to get it in early.
- 46:08Speaker 4: Look at my nibbles.
- 46:13Speaker 2: For eight am eight o one though, are out, nips
- 46:16Speaker 2: out for noise.
- 46:18Speaker 4: So anyway, I don't think I'll be uh going.
- 46:22Speaker 2: So that sounded awesome?
- 46:23Speaker 3: Were you what.
- 46:26Speaker 4: I was doing before that? But I'm definitely not going now.
- 46:29Speaker 4: A couple of things I just don't need to go
- 46:30Speaker 4: together with the cheeburgers and one.
