Jesus Came To Cast Fire
Jesus said in Luke 12:49, that he “came to cast fire on the earth.” Sometimes we have the idea that Jesus doesn’t expect much from us, that our responsibility to Him is not too great, or for those who are not followers of Him, that He has no real bearing upon their lives. But Jesus attacks those sentiments head on in Luke 12:49-50.
