- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: I've drawn it back with Paul.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: Paul, you've done some traveling lately, so how are you doing?
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing great.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: Just got back from a trip to London to watch All In and Rev Pro and everything.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, exciting wrestling weekend behind me, basically.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: All in was great.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: All in, like, with a rather real, really good show, like, I love the main event obviously, like, been getting, like, ray feverries from everybody, like, I'm probably, like, lower than most people on it, because it's not going to be my match of the year, and to be honest, I don't think it even was, like, my favorite, all in main event.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's still Daniel's
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: The atmosphere at the show was great and just seeing like in an entire giant stadium, going nuts for like Osprey winning the title, it's like just an amazing feeling as all.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: And like the fireworks going off and everything.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's just it's amazing.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's worth it for the atmosphere alone.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: And the world like sorry.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: are going to say, I was wrong, probably.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: No, okay, so here's the problem with earth probe.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's not that it was a bad show.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: It was a perfectly acceptable show, but it was like five something hours long, which if you're just giving me a perfectly acceptable show, it's worse than giving me a bad show.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: because if you're just giving me like middle of the line like acceptable stuff for five hours, you're actually wasting my time.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like just I get that you want as many of your guys on your big show of deer.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: But like,
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: you have to make some hard cuts there.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like it just can't be that long.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like I'm sorry, I'm not like I didn't stay for the full trouble.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: Because after I was just like I paid my money and I stayed for an amount of money that as a amount of time that I think I paid for and then anything longer than that I was just not willing to do especially because there wasn't really anything
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: that would keep me there like I had already seen like the main matches I wanted to watch which was which was Luke Jacobs versus Park and the tag title match of cowboy way was FDR like those had already happened and to be quite honest you want to know so basically I left during like the
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: And the reason I basically even stayed for a while and that is because I said next to J.J. Gales parents.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: So straight up I was like, okay, I have to at least stay until their son comes out because that seems disrespectful if I leave before that happens.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's so I basically stayed there.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: I watched like all of his shine and everything and then when Jeff Jarred came out I was like all right, that's it.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm done.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: Back to me.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know what the funniest part of that five-hour show is that it's a five-hour show and it had a Michael O'Koomin event But that only went like that in minutes
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, see that was the other reason why it was like, okay, I think I'm going to leave because I'm like, I know that there's a micro domain event that I don't care I'm like that I'm trying to be five in it batch.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly like I don't want to like end the evening watching British Hayatta like no I would copy his heart shot him, but it is true that he's not just going to us
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think he is a better wrestler than a higher total of all, but they very much both suffer from that thing, which just like, this didn't need to be for a few minutes, that absolutely did not.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: You know what, like, REST Pro show do, like, should also do like a 200 second title, but I don't know who.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: that's so pretty good.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: So are you going to go to Dynastee, didn't they announce Dynastee in the UK?
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think so, right, like, but that's when is that?
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: They move it to February, am I dreaming that?
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: February, I may be.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: I would have to think about it.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like here's the thing, like London and late August is really not like it was a bit rainy this time around, but not too bad.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: I was still mostly good weather like I was still like wearing shorts most of the time.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: London and February sounds a lot less enticing.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm maybe, I'm going to have to think about it.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to have to see what like hotel pride, like that's the other thing.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like I generally stay at like like the London University like dorms because like the London School of Economic dorms because they rent them out during semester break.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: So it's, you can get like pretty central on with breakfast included for really cheap.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like for free nights, I paid a hundred and ninety euros.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: Central on like right next to your station that's like that's unbeatable exactly like and if that's not an option for that I'm gonna have to pay at least like free time start.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, sorry.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: Life is fake.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: It isn't February But it's dynamite that's gonna be in London.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: You want to guess which English city that that is these gonna be in live a pool
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yeah, because I think I remember I saw like Liverpool on some graphic out of what I didn't remember what show that was I mean, I don't know if I've never been to Liverpool.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: I might actually have to think about that.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: Might be an excuse to go to Liverpool.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: What's that to see in Liverpool?
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it's a gouser.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, they have to book, they have to book, yeah, they're at the young vets for that, right?
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: So now that you're back, I wanted to do this because a number of events have happened.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, we're going to talk about the G1 final because everyone's talking about the G1 final, but it's not our own reasons to talk about the G1 final.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: And also September marks the last month that WWE programming is going to be on a BMS.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's right Paul.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: We're taking two victory laps.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Correctly identifying Rao Heo Ewa and his Yoshinari Ogawa training as being the key to a future wrestling superstar.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: And B. Russley hasn't been destroyed by the WWE and I don't think it's going to be.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: Or Japanese wrestling anyway.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, to be fair, I will say Mexican wrestling is destroying itself.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's WV isn't even doing that much.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I argue triple A is more traditional lucha than like CMLL at this point.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yeah, uh, that's 100% out them.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, can you kind of blame me, W or do you think it's really like 100%.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, like, on the, on the one hand, a W always claims like innocence on these things, read it just like, no, partner, like decided to stem cells, but it's like, I don't know.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: It weirdly seems all of your partners seem to adopt really weird shitty booking when they get involved with you.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like, so at what point?
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like I don't know like even even isn't your fault at that at what point do you just become like a bad talisman essentially, you know It's like you're like making the drugs available to them even if you're not ending it to them.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I don't know Yeah, I guess that's also a good point right like whether like oh we can like get like
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: Claudia cast in Yola, so we're just gonna make him like a main guy on our roster, but yeah, I don't know What I'm glad I mean to be fed it did takes they they are kind of taking some of their big stars But they haven't even really done that yet, so you're not even like a new Japan situation I'm glad that I got to a reader max a code to see some two out of three false match
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I really should have, I should have just ponyed up for the more expensive flights and I should have just gone to Mexico and 2021 when I was like trying to get around the current chain that was still imposed on like EU countries to get into the US fallout.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm envious, and now I'm probably never going to see an actual, like, loot show show.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's like, well, if you want to go like
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you can, but I would probably see one of my people left like a bastion of traditional lucha at this point.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: So our victory labs will start quickly WWE.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: I said we got knocked off top of but relevant.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're they're they're leaving for Netflix and nothing's going to happen to the Japanese seat.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_03]: Is the Japanese you die?
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be
- 10:26[SPEAKER_01]: And it's also kind of similarly to the UK scene as well.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: There was a lot of self-inflicted stuff.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like W, we absolutely accelerated the process, but that process of it collapsing was always going to happen.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like that was a house card too.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: So that was a house card sort of here.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and like the I made a Japanese scene again.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if it collapsed, I mean, there are like some varying signs, but those varying signs have also been there for like years.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like eight.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: In some ways, I think the corporate ownership that now has basically all of the major companies is makes it safe, right?
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: or at least half of it or whatever it is.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: And then you've got cyber fight.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: And then of course, Bushy Roastool startup.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: So like it's not, it's not going anywhere.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: And unless I'm going to when he searches drawing 200 people to the core.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, exactly.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's also a thing of like if you actually look at like purchasing patterns of WBE, right?
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: Generally, they either just swooped in on like a fire sale, like with WCW, right?
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: Or like with all of the territories, where they just had partners that were just like basically at the end of the road.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: And you just grab whatever you can for like pennies on the dollar essentially.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: or you have the AAA purchase, which also wasn't real proper M&A, that was them like fleecing two fucking marks.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's what they did there.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: And also one of the other one of themselves.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that I was going to say they wanted to sell.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: But also they fleece Conan because he's a mark.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: And again, that's not really what you have in the Japanese scene mostly, right?
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like TVSR, he isn't really in any financial danger.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: Cypified seems to be very, like obviously they're very solid, like financial grounds.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like it seems like the wrestling division at Cypified has reduced a loss as year over a year, right?
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not really a big financial burden that you don't really have a reason to,
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: offload.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: So if, and it definitely not like that you want to offload desperately.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: So if WV wanted to buy them they would actually have to do like proper M&A for once and actually pony up a bunch of money to like do that.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, I don't know, they're not really that good because it's WV isn't good that neither is TKO.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like neither is USC.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: USC is also really only used to like either fleecing a bunch of marks or like swooping in when there's a fire sail like they did with pride when like pride and all of its scandals.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: So I guess we need a Yakuza scan, massive Yakuza scan in Japanese wrestling for there to be any danger of WWE like swooping in and like buying up a bunch of stuff is what I'm saying.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: And yet somehow even Noah survived what he was.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like that was probably the biggest risk that we weren't really thinking of at the time.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's like, yeah, when Noah was like in real real deep shit, maybe there was a chance that like WWE could have like swooped in then right like I think that was around the time like they had they announced the whole like NXT initiative to like spread out everywhere and wasn't that around the time would never rumors that like second moto was gonna be like a trainer.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: you have to broaden he techie and everything and me like i don't know like i've never heard any stories that they were actively sniffing around to buy no but like regardless like cyber fighters came in and like bought it instead yeah and uh this is pretty similar WXW is really company that got into bed with WW and got out unscathed
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, like, like obviously they like they got rated pretty badly too.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like they lost Walter, they lost like Axel leader who were two of the biggest stars, right?
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's like, I don't know, they just kind of kept on trucking.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: They just kept pumping out people out of there like academy.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: They build up new guys and they're still drawing like pretty big crowds for like the 16
- 14:36[SPEAKER_01]: September we can dissolve and still drawing like pretty good like hot crowds and everything and I'm mostly unchanged really like it is just the UK scene and the UK scene also again if like speaking out happens regardless.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like speaking out happens regardless of whatever you eat does and that would have killed that scene like it just would have like it would have like the only way that scene doesn't die if it's speaking out doesn't happen like that's what actually killed the scene
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: So, everyone start panic.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, basically.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: Also, be the other things as well.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like the Wade and Noah, WV relationship was like, was also so different from like the Wade WV was conducting themselves.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: when they went hard to go to the UK.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like just like people that they send over to like be on shows and everything.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_01]: And the people that had like dual contracts and everything or that were like, had WV contracts and was still like appearing on like indie shows and everything.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like that was never what like didn't know what WV relationship was.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like a WV never fucking talked about it.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, if they ever really acknowledged, like they said, they're kind of horrible from Noah.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: But like, like, fucking triple age appeared on a progress show.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: That's the level of difference we're talking about here.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's what they did when they went into the UK to kind of try and stamp that scene out.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: Whereas in this case, they sent fucking, like, what are they called again, Tucker and, you know, Hank and Tang, they sent Hank and Tang.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Hank, it takes, sorry.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's how the Creed wrote it.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and Harlem Lewis and Harlem Lewis.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and Why he's good.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: No, he's good.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, that's fine, but it's like it's like the not sending the best is what I'm saying.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's not that they ever like send in like a main roster level Like okay, they send over Nakamura, but that's also different and age and like they send over AJ, but like those are like at the end of the road and every like at the end of you know
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: like tail end of the career, not heavily pushed anymore.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like they send in like, you know, Kevin Owens or they send over like, I mean, now you should know what have to do with the top of the era.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: They don't send Cody Rhodes, like right like Cody wouldn't be in the big deal too.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like they didn't send those guys.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: And so we'll go for our first live to our second victory lab.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: Because I feel like people were like not particularly impressed when we were back to New Japan.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: We're just like, but we knew Paul.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: We knew.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we knew.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: We were like writing that train real hard.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm happy that every like all of the people like boarding this train now, like you didn't, you didn't board it early, but at least you boarded it now.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_00]: And also, I mean, did you see the interview with Sogawa?
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, where he was basically like, yeah, this is my real son and fuck my short first son, Kai, to kill me.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, a very, very happy day for a god.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess, you know, we'll give it to you also Zach Saber Jr. Because he's, yeah, no, no, no, that lineage of O'Gawa to O'Ewa.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, that's, that's, but I mean, I think as much as I was pursuing him joining TMDK, I think it has helped him kind of like hang around for Zack Saber Jr. Like it has helped them like get a stuff be a bit more snuck a bit more tied and everything.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it is basically like just continuing to train under a govern essentially.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it was.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: for sure so like I was wondering why do we're doing that at first but now in hindsight it's like oh yeah this guy just came off of training and oh god was so Zach probably was like yeah sure put him in my fact that I can continue training him so building off of that yes we're gonna have a very brief discussion about
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: the g1 finals, but my question is that I put in the run sheet, and this is really what our discuss is going to focus on it.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the g1 final change Japanese men's professional wrestling, stylistically, is it?
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: Was did that say told for a new generation?
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: Not just a new Japan.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: All what do you think?
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean it could.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's because obviously New Japan is the industry leader in Japan.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's pretty undisputed.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: What they said kind of goes.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_01]: We saw it as well when they started leaning more heavily into interference and everything.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like the flat
- 19:22[SPEAKER_01]: has like a black shirt at here unit that treats a bunch.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: This perfect.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's some of those black shirted units aren't heels and don't treat anyway.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: And while we did the voodoo burners revivals, we did have to voodoo murderers revivals, yes, no that is fair.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: Right, and I think that was one of the reasons why that was the case.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: It was because New Japan was doing it and everybody else was like, I guess this is what we need to do now.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: So I think if this does become a stylistic change for Japanese wrestling, it would have to be
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: kind of a stylistic chain for new Japan main events going forward.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: So I would say we would need to have to take a look at like what new Japan main events look over like the next like six months basically and if this becomes a style there then I would expect that to start trickling down two other promotions as well.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's fair.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: I guess by sort of fall off his, um, I would say though, someone like Ken told me a harer is not going to change your style.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: No, Ken does not.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: Late 30s, you know, it's still in great shape, but he's got his gimmick, but, you know, I think, uh, guys like Anza and that or Q Mia or, you know, all of those young guys in Noah, which are plentiful, uh, you know,
- 20:46[SPEAKER_00]: keep their up, keep your eyes on them if the New Japan style of all basically.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_01]: I would be curious how a Zaba would be adapting to a style like that.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like that might actually not be a bad idea for them.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, like his body needs already kind of a bit.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: You already looks a bit shaky at times on it's like finishers.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, I mean, he also remembered that one injury came from that insane dive.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the end one last year.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, might not be the worst idea for him to like go more into that and to that style and also be that would again, also be a great trolling move towards Kaito Kiyomiya as well.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: If he just starts working like Ogawa.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: The question is, can you do it?
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: That's the other question.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: Can he do it?
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that will sort out the spot heads from the guys that the really good fundamentals, like that's how I put it.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: Although, I thought that Osawa had good fundamentals when he was out of the young boy and everything like that.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know actually a water is actually what someone a kuga now I guess it's somebody you can see like really fit into that style as well Because these are also much more like a fundamental sky than really like a flashy guy.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: Why we'll see what cavities picked up
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: From Jean Money, I'm still salty that you're going to notice this progress and not as GWF, it's like fucking progress put in with like a dipshit comedy guy and like GWF, like gave him a title and like gave him a tournament win and a world title match, like, come on.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like that, that's the actual like thing you want to like present to your people, that's like a thing that like you guy did on excursion, not like the Jean Money shirt, like
- 22:35[SPEAKER_00]: would have pretend that never happened, especially if there's a guy that you would have put just like a main of enter for sure So yeah, I just wanted to touch on that because I think that that match might actually have some sort of Consequences over Yeah, we'll see what no I can see that.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I can't imagine though like but she because you've got like oh He was fundamentals.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: You've got humor style
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm expecting something somewhat similar on the King of Pro Wrestling match between Suji and... Yeah.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I do think I do think I was losing, unfortunately.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, I think so too.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_00]: But we'll keep our eyes on that and see how it percolates across the whole scene.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, I just added this to the run sheet because I remember this happened.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we got Core Kid renovations and sounds like...
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: from the translations.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be like some of January and February will be open or at least some of February will be open and then it's like out of commission to me for renovation.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it needs renovations.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's an old building, it's an old building and it's also like I don't think it's going to be anything major Like it's not long enough.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly like I could see that maybe like switch out some of like the cabling and stuff like that, you know
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think there was like talk about like maybe expanding the merge area which that's probably a really good idea because the merge area is a fucking mess right now like it's so kind of like to explain it to people that haven't been there generally the way it's set up and correct and you get out of the lift and in theory right in front of you are like
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: basically the area where like you can take the stairs to like get to your seat, but that door is generally closed and instead, it kind of like loop you around, kind of like a block, like around basically, who like some very narrow corridors to like have your tickets checked, but then also one of those narrow corridors is like a bit larger, and that's where the merge area is and so like forget wanting to buy anything before the show starts,
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: because they're just a giant long queue to get into the building.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_01]: So really, if you want to buy merch, like, and then also after the show everybody floats into that area and it gets like completely overflowed as well.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: So really your only chance at Corrican is that you just punt on one match and just go look at the merch during like one match essentially.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: And so if they can't improve on that, that would help a lot.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like right now, it's not great.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, um, although I suppose it's the issue time with the year because I can't really see any like companies are going to be hit, but I don't think they're going to be hit, yeah, super hard because they don't really have their biggest show with corkans at that time with the year, right?
- 25:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_01]: Let me know.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's never like a great time.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, to do it, right?
- 25:33[SPEAKER_01]: Just because of how important it is, but yeah, this is probably like, for example, this would be like disaster.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_01]: If you did it in like January.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, right.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you close,
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: Corkin and January, that would be awful, but yeah, I think February is generally like easiest scheduled time anyway because basically everybody spends like January in like Tokyo and then like the larger, like metropolitan areas and then like companies start touring a bit more into like smaller areas and like February.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, that actually makes sense to close it in and then April isn't great either.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: But because, like, doesn't that, like, I think that kind of like the one that actually gets hit the most with that is probably all Japan, because that will still miss out on all of the like champion carnival shows in Carrigan.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_00]: Well, there's only like, what two carnival shows in Carrigan usually.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: So there was the opening, there was the opening night, right?
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: And then of course included two more.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, two more, okay.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm not sure of the top, like, but I mean, it's definitely at least two.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, which I don't know if you book like the Tokyo Dom city hall for that instead.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the opening night, but I don't know if I, because some of those like middling tour shows, a cork it don't necessarily like draw very well.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: draw like a ton or anything like that.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: So I would say like, I don't know, find a new opening night.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe just find another thing to do something or another event.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: You and you're going to do your finals in order for it anyway.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_00]: So that's not such.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: So this year they only ran one card at only the opener was in the opener was an April.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: And then there was one more kind of old show in
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: So technically like if they have like a similar schedule next year then
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: But really what they would really only have to find like a new venue for the opening card.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_01]: And then you can basically run like the block decision, match the block decision, like show in Corrican as well.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's a last block show.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, yeah, so you do the open as somewhere else.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then you can already have your first show back in Corrican be like the final block show.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the other ones are generally fine.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like I don't think anybody else is really like a big show in Kork and an April.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, I mean...
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, uh, all the other companies are good at some of the, I wonder if it's probably does, uh, to it down, because there's those companies like to a W or whatever that running like cork in once a year and I have no clue when that is.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's certainly like that.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I would assume that this was like announced to people ahead of time as well, right?
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: So because like these shows are both like pretty fun.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like people at,
- 28:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like aren't they already promotions that have announced shows for April, not for April, but for like March and Kirk and anyway?
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's I assume the promotions already did already notice like for like a while.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_01]: because just looking at it, so this year the companies that range shows and curriculum in April are nowhere, they'll find a replacement, new Japan, they'll find a replacement DDT, they'll find a replacement, save of dragon gates, start them, send I girls, they'll probably struggle a bit to find like a different venue, especially with a Shinjuku gone, with a face gone, fortune dream ran one,
- 29:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's probably a bit more of an issue because they just don't run that many shows during year seedling, Diana, Marry Goldran, one Ozacadam and Ozacadamidid, strong style prevailing did and let's see allegedly Drew 1000 for 150 fans with a few matches.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_00]: They just also allegedly drew almost 1500 fans.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: And like that show doesn't need like that in show didn't even need to be in korekan.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's like such nothing show.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like it was the main event was alpha wolf and masakita mia versus Kazuki Fujita and Yushiki in Amora.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like I could be the biggest match on the show was like that was like the final tag a match, but like It's the final thing you need to be in korekan.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_01]: The final tag a match.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're a match against Nike.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_01]: But
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I don't think he said any matcha since then, and you can prove we broke.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: He actually hasn't had that many, sorry.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to take a while, it gets how many matches Daga has had since April first when he left Noah?
- 30:37[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just find a Noah match.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's had, I would say, six matches in AAA.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: You're not your one off, it's seven.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, but we don't know.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_00]: But we don't know um, but he has a contract with me.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, he's listed as signed by AAA on Cage Metro at least.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_01]: So I would assume he is.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_00]: So from there, we go to the far-festal finals because, you know, you happen on, uh, August 2nd, but it did not air till the 15th as, and it didn't even get to the, uh,
- 31:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I only watched the, well, this whole show was on Samurai, but I only watched the finals with Sam.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't knock a Gima, defeating Masato Tanaka in 2250.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_00]: So what did you think, Paul?
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was a good solid match.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it was like blow a one or anything, but it was sort of what it's expected from these guys at this point.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: Dare I say that,
- 31:41[SPEAKER_00]: Tadakas sort of showing his age event, and then we find that that he's going for like some sort of what is it nerve surgery on its arm, which he's out of and it's apparently one successful.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: And so he's going to be back in next month.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, I'm not sure it's a test of it.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_00]: Tadakas you know how good he is, because I'm like this isn't peaked out of you, but it's still a pretty good match.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's like weird.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's like this is
- 32:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, we good, but it's not like blow away.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how to describe it.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: No, I think that that's really because I was also really struggling.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_01]: What to how to really classify it as match and I think a gentleman's forest like the perfect way to describe it.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: It it was good.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't as good as a match between these two could have been.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I
- 32:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I watched it knowing that like Tanaka had like surgery basically right after, but I still thought he looked like a step slower compared to like when I saw him like in January, uh, against higher booster.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like, because that was a genuinely great match.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that was a genuinely great match.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: That might make my, like, top 10 for the year.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_01]: And this one will not.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it was a good match.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: It was exciting.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: It also very much felt like Nuck and Jima was carrying the match as well.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of like seemed like he was like leading to knackered through some stuff and everything and to knackered just seemed like it's step slow And I don't know if that was just because of like the nerf damage in his arm or if that is just finally like time is catching up with him Who knows like we will have to see what he looks like when he comes back from his surgery now But I just thought it was notable that to me he did not look like the same guy that I saw in January and
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: like that much of the decline and like one year again time comes for us all right like he kept on he kept on being great way longer than he really showed up in you were expected yes exactly like just like
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: If you tell, if you basically go back to like 1998 and you tell somebody like, oh, by the way, that guy you just saw get absolutely fucking brain with like the most nasty chair shot you've ever seen in your life.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's still going to be a great wrestler, like basically like what, like 28 years from now.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like people would say you're in say like they what tell you like no, I don't even think you're lying to me Because I'm pretty sure he's dead, you know
- 34:28[SPEAKER_01]: They would have told you like, no, I don't believe like it's like that they don't even think that he would still be wrestling Let alone and he would still be a great wrestler for sure.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the thing is I want to see what he's like when he comes back from injury before I make my final declaration on this because it was a sharp beat that somehow a month off and surgery that he looks better than he did in August
- 34:51[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, no, no, no, it very well could be that it was just the injury holding him back and everything.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: It was, I don't know, there was like more than just that kind of made me think, were like, maybe he's lost a bit more, but again, maybe it's just like that, because he was in his sane pain, because like, his nerves were literally damaged and his arm, and that, like, effected his performance.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that very well could also be the case.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_00]: And in other 0.1 news, Koji Doi has joined the company.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's like, why not, I genuinely am like, I don't, I don't know, sure, why not.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just about man.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, for our reports, because I'm not on the base neo, and I only watch whatever it was on YouTube, which I unsubscribe from, plus say, it just became too frustrating.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like it just, like people stress anything being uploaded.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: People said, Doi was looking good in the fire first.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I don't know.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he just was very, he's like, the, like, to me, the best Doi is the team with the cool Marashi.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_00]: And, um, he could be kind of bland as a single sky.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: Kind of like, who we're actually?
- 36:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like, I mean, Beth Doy, I think it's also often like, a motivation issue, because I mean, you remember what he looked like when he came into all Japan.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: Just like the holy shit, just all protein, no carbs, just massive and then the kind of became clear that they weren't gonna like push him really and the effort level just went like into toilet But that's also because they weren't gonna push him because he's just kind of an okay wrestler.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it's like Kuma Rashi's also no okay wrestlers But he's got more courage
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he's got way more charisma, yeah.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like Koji Doi, when he actually works out, he has the better look, but then it's just like, the wrestling's very perfunctory and the charisma just never really developed.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like I was a big proponent of him back and like, rest of one, but he just stayed at a very solid, okay, level and just never became any better than that, unfortunately.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's that's a good way to say you know what he's perfect for 0-1 because that's a lot of the roster that yeah He's like, you know the almost Japanese Christmas
- 37:24[SPEAKER_00]: Japanese Christmas.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, I took time off from full-time wrestling because he had a daughter, but that was a couple of years ago.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: So he's obviously looking to get back into full-time things.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: So you think there's a chant, no, I don't think there's a chant, but do you think there's a chant that like his tag team partner is following him?
- 37:46[SPEAKER_00]: I mean,
- 37:47[SPEAKER_00]: They might, if they wanted to, like, dedicate to their one, they could be, like, the titan aces of that company and, like, both because sort of mean adventures, if they wanted that.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: But then again, all Japan just kind of gave Kuma Rashi, like, the biggest push of his career, really.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_01]: So it would be weird if they were like, yes, or, well, just let your contract laps, basically.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_00]: And that's it out.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know so like I like I feel like if you if like Kuma was like on his way out with all Japan I think there's like a hundred ten percent chance he's going to zero one I just don't feel like he's on his way out from all Japan right now.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_00]: No, he seemed pretty secure there Yeah, even if you got like although like that push felt like his his gold watch
- 38:34[SPEAKER_00]: right now you're back to the midcard.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so funny story about big Japan core, uh, it no longer exists, but I didn't know that, uh, so I got to stop to join, look, I hadn't logged into a big company.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, I'm still paying for it, or was paying for it.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: So I guess I haven't paying for it.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm like, okay, so I'm like, do I want to just subscribe to their YouTube now and then I look and it's like, I think it's actually going to cost me more than core did, but I get a month, so I decided I'm going to take the month trial.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_00]: So I signed up for bigs of fans YouTube membership membership whatever.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just for the month because I was like, I want to see these matches and I so I watched two matches from the August 23rd.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_00]: Cork and Halsha will need you seven hundred and sixty-fans, which is sort of like a acceptable number for that these days.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: If they go below seven hundred, then I would call that trouble.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: Which is a which was a lot of the current controls.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing though.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_00]: Somehow, by big Japan standards, I do a Kobayashi and Ryaji Edo are still drawing in that company.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: Which is bad.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like those shouldn't be the main guys you need to rely on to draw.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, it shouldn't be the main guys, uh somebody called somebody rated this has one rate that main event I did not watch, but it has a seven on cage match from one person.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't believe that
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: No, that that that might have been like Ryu Deito himself.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_00]: So the match that I did watch, Big Japan Junior Heavyweight title.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_00]: Showkey could have murdered defeated Coastgate Sato in 1716 with the France Blasher League of title.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's a 13th champion and Sato falls on his seventh defense title.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_00]: Now, speaking of people, uh, stranded kid Amura is started into a cheeky pro and has not been invited over to the New
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: So he's now started becoming a big Japan regular in their junior division and look I mean he He looks like he should be better than he is.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_00]: I sort of zoned out when he was on offense.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a couple flash and looking moves, but I mean Saddo we've talked about before he's awesome.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_00]: In fact he probably had earned the ultimate junior division now, like fighting again, Tamura.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: Can you imagine that?
- 40:57[SPEAKER_01]: Oh god, dad, I would be great.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I mean it was a nice little match maybe three and a half at best, but it was all the best stuff was with Sato was in no question about that.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_00]: And the other batch of walks was the the strong heavyweight championship and just to show you where they are putting this title now.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: This was stirred for the top the tag titles and then which are now the depth worth to know depth batch titles, my idea.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, no, they always kind of bounce to be, but to be always kind of bounce back and forth between the two different, they've been death batch titles solidly for a while now.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so it used to be basically like basically what they would do, they would like alternate, right?
- 41:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like because they would alternate that title between death match and non-death match every year.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm basically whenever like the strong climb.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_01]: It was a strong time, no more, the tag titles would be death match and then every time it would be like the death match tournament, the tag titles would be strong titles essentially, strong division titles.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: But they are now just death match titles because the strong division is like two people.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so Cosmos or Yoshida defeated Koshiro Asakura in 1352 with the Tombstone Palms Rapper to make his first defense.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: I thought this was pretty good.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_00]: I maybe go three and three quarters tops.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: I felt like Yoshida, he's kind of bland, but I actually thought here he felt more like he is the champion and he carried this.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_00]: and he did make Asikora look good.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_00]: So in some ways, this was like to me, Yoshida's best performance as champion.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's feeling into the role a lot more I thought here.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: Asikora, good.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's not ready to be the champion.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't mean that it's guy sucks.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's just he just needs more.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: There's something there.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: He just needs more reps.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like Pashki wrestled for how long until he got injured.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like he really still only has a handful of matches
- 42:59[SPEAKER_00]: But the question is, can you really not do anything with him till like 20, 28?
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, like the promotion won't exist if they do.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, is this the next day?
- 43:10[SPEAKER_00]: Well, end of April, early May since that day, fourth of it is now date up in the air.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: Is that when you belt them up or can you drag the cell wall right on?
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the thing is, can you can you keep the title on your seat up for that long?
- 43:24[SPEAKER_00]: You might, you know what, like getting a back on a diamond, your Hashimoto's
- 43:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think it might end up, they just might flip it back to like soda and laundry to be honest.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, or Hashimoto.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I could see that.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's like they're in the same faction anyway, so.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, um, so it's like I enjoy what I watch, but it's just like this is a big fan 2036, but it's not it's not that great, like it's it's not I don't know and I just I man, I that's the that's the number one promotion I wish was better.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: like I want to like it so badly but it's just I can't like this death match division is just it's it's awful.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: So it is depressing because I feel like if I was still there I was a girl would also get better development.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yep like who can you learn from right now?
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: No mora okobayashi sekaboto like those are
- 44:28[SPEAKER_01]: right like I do think I don't think like as much as I like I okay I don't think I okay it's like at the same level as like an okapa yashii or whatever but like it's still better than like whoever is left there now
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I have many great things to see.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, I mean, again, like I think he's awesome.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, you know, I think there's a difference.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like I do still think he's not as like again.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_01]: That sounds mean, but it's like a legitimate thing.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: You do come a year.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: She's one of the greatest presses of all time.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, and I don't think a Yoke is quite at that level.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, it's no shame and not being as good as well as the greatest versus the world.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_01]: I have to.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: So much that little hiatus.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and at that like I don't at this point.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's it was only going to be a year He basically was like I'm not like I think you always said like because I don't think he fully committed to retiring So you always said like I might yeah, I might just like look how feel like after year and like yeah Like if you just look at recent photos of him, but it's looking happy and a lot of love It's just like yeah Maybe this is just like not coming back
- 45:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's not just one long mudo dropping away angle and he's going to come.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to come back as if he's right here.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_00]: It challenged Kiddler for the time on.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that would be literally very funny.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, like he comes in, he challenges Kiddler for the junior title.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't win the match and then crash diets back up to his previous weight.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_01]: like between shows like he just is junior rated and next show he's back to like prime U.D.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: or cover yeah she's size and everybody's like oh that's probably not good for like any part of your body but you just said that there no all right so that's being Japan I don't know if I'm going to help
- 46:14[SPEAKER_00]: I put it in my calendar like two days before it expires like a note to rob it.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's fair.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_00]: So I would say I have some incredible match in September.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think I probably could have canceled that.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_00]: That was my little experience with Big Japan.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I kind of want to see what happens with those guys.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_00]: If something actually happened in the cockroach actually died,
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: And, well, I'm just saying like the few remaining guys in the strong division slash junior, I've really division, like God I'd want all Japan to sign sadder, I'd want like, oh, yeah, I think you know, she could have a place as a junior or as a junior, though, much like Ayuki, he could fit into Noah or all Japan as a junior too.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, as a chorus, I'm like, I think as a chorus would be perfect for, like,
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: for Tol Japan.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly right.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean to be face not that tall but he's thick like that's the um yeah, like basically you need to be tall and or thick.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: Well that's that's the um that's such that one judoka guy that they got in there um uh you see about ringside in their dojo like the comedian son he's like a little shorter like I got five ten which is actually short by
- 47:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe he, you know, the Tulay for us to occur.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's already taken in all in other pan.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, again, I mean, that's basically the route like Rayuki Honda went for the right.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's true.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: We go to Noah and probably in news that surprises no one.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_00]: You can, you know, as a nasty is joining Noah.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: He's coming.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_01]: Contracts up in November and he's jumping.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, to be fair, can you really call it a jumper that more, if you stay a transfer in the same company basically?
- 48:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_01]: Because I guess you have to give them a new contract because he works.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, does he, I mean, I don't know like how the contract works unless I like sci-fi-fi, if you're like under contract with Noah or DDT or if you just have an employment contract with sci-fi itself.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_01]: Because if they just have to have them a cyber fight itself, you don't even like need to like give him a new contract.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry if there's somebody at my door.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_00]: I was having a rough day for a second, but yeah, you know, probably not a big deal.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's just a few.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_00]: adjustments for him to jump over, but yeah, look, I mean, I thought, well, let's just get into this because not much has happened to Noah in August because everything was just building to the, yeah, and one.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_00]: So I haven't been paying that much attention, but,
- 48:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'll just say this.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, nothing happened.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's the thing.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, except one thing and we're going to talk about it right now.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: The main event of the cults Colossaki show on the, uh, I think it was also on the 23rd, which you, 1,575 fans, they always draw well at cults Colossaki, which also, uh,
- 49:16[SPEAKER_00]: homecoming for a certain individual.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's the unfortunate part there.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, oh, you draw a great crowd.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he was like in a prominent position.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_01]: But hey, I mean, at least he's going to be gone for a while, said that's something.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_01]: How is leaving?
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: No, it isn't the injured.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like, didn't he announce that it showed that he's injured?
- 49:33[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_01]: I meant that.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_01]: I fact that.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: He's on the show.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but okay, maybe my mental impact or that one done.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: But I thought he announced that he got injured, but maybe he didn't.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_01]: Mmm, wish they were thinking.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_00]: So, made a bet of the show that was made of board Syria, and you can eat or defeat it.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_00]: You're shiki it in Marin Casio, you can fidget it in 2058 with the Passion Clutch from Eon in Amura.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_00]: And this is great.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: I want like four, maybe four and a quarter on this, tons of fun.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_00]: And these big guys, they kept it a great pace for like a 20 minute match.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_01]: like I thought this match was gonna be like a lot shorter because I was like are you really want to like go long or like because you could feed you too much but no like they had like a proper main event like length match and everything everybody like kept up their side of it as well yeah
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's a minor thing in the grand scheme of things.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't think in a mirror, I've been like no one taking the fall here, especially not now that he's like a former champion, right?
- 50:36[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, I guess that's just what you have to deal with with for data and at least a match was great.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love the face, just to be glaring to the back and then passion clutch, aka the get-up clutch.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_01]: No, that was pretty damn great.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: I love that, that's why I'm also saying it's a minor thing and a grand scheme of things because the finish was fucking awesome.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_00]: So whatever passion match or whatever the hell they're called down, passion, because it tells us to do that.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_01]: for now I mean it's also like well how could you call it retails like it's like I found out what's funny there was like well like it's not like retails and passion max have split up it's like who's representing the retails side it's nobody left yeah oh god this tag team was really goofy but it's growing on me
- 51:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like especially like I think it is they have to write a very fine line right because it is kind of a goofy you make that they're doing but because they are like that's basically the comedy is mostly kept to just like them kind of looking weird but then in the match that just ask kickers.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_01]: So I've
- 51:48[SPEAKER_01]: think it's still works.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think it definitely has a tendency to like, overstay it's welcome for me, but like right now I think it works really really well.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for sure.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_00]: And hopefully it's a transition back to a good, an interesting GHE tag title division because we've had that in the past.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: And then it's sort of, you know, I don't know, let's say some WWE people got it bombed for it.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_00]: Except all the files, I hope so.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay when anyone says, I mean, it's basically any time like Sawyer is heavily involved in attack division is when it's good, right?
- 52:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly, right?
- 52:21[SPEAKER_00]: From get wild to passion max.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's a great tag wrestler, like I think.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_01]: I had that might actually be an interesting thing to like look at like where like Sawyer rains in terms of like all-time great like tag team wrestlers.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I mean, he's up there, right?
- 52:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's funny.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because also his former partner to Kawabori is someone that I have brought up as someone that where does he rank in all time?
- 52:47[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, team wrestlers.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that's really a conversation for sorry too, right?
- 52:56[SPEAKER_01]: yeah like because again like similarly to like him since then like he's also want to have like so many like great tax teams over the years as well that are like kind of unarradant when he he has been carrying like the no like tax like heavyweight tax team division for a while and I was well
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: and it was a really great tagress and all Japan, obviously, was a really great tag guy in Reservant as well.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I would really have to actually sit down and look at like who are like the comparable guys to him, right?
- 53:28[SPEAKER_01]: Because it's like I don't think there's anything like maybe get wild, but then otherwise I don't think there's any like single tag team of his so far
- 53:43[SPEAKER_01]: But like him as a tag wrestler, you have to think I would put on the all-time great like tag wrestlers, right?
- 53:51[SPEAKER_01]: We just see it case because normally like the all-time great tag wrestlers also have like an all-time great like tag team and he doesn't really necessarily have that like
- 54:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's straight forwardly obvious as other guys, but he just has like a lot of like a lot of great Tag team that he has been a part of it's just that none of these have like stayed together for very long So you never had that like sustained like great run besides like get wild essentially Yeah, I mean that's similar to a more like no fear.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm wrong for that round for that long
- 54:25[SPEAKER_00]: At the island, oh, more, he probably could have been an all-time team if they had been used outside of the all-ation division in the 90s, but the time they reformed in like the 2010s, you know, they're both older and like that.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, he's got his team with Koshanaka, he's got his team with Nakanishi and everything like that, just a lot of good matches, but yet no all-time tag team.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_00]: So sort of funny how their career sort of mirror each other in that regard.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but that's definitely worth a deep dive in the story and tag team.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_00]: I also really like Steve Kennedy.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_01]: No, that was great too.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_01]: That that was probably my favorite like, um, uh, Congo team out of all of them.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like that was like when they went into all Japan and you had like Kenu making fun of the all of the like, uh, of the, uh, all of the, uh, all of the Pan tag titles.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like that was fucking awesome.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_01]: And then he did refresh them afterwards.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know if that was like they had already planned to like refresh those bills today Well, I guess just like relay into them because we're gonna like renew those traps anyway or if Kno just Absolutely putting them on blast for the straps looking like absolute shit
- 55:35[SPEAKER_01]: like basically then cost them to go like, okay, we probably have to commission your strategies because they are falling apart and we're just getting like rolled by like other people now.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_01]: So we kind of need to put down some money to like refresh them.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like regardless, great outcome.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so obviously, I mean, I think I mentioned it before, but like stories to you with Senada.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it looks like a countless prospect.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, god, yeah.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_01]: Again, like, it's not quite a Jake Lee level, but he's kind of like a guy same kind of guy from me.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's like you can't become like a good hater if you've never loved something.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I really wanted Senada to hit and deep dead.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I think maybe we should do a jakely aside part.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_00]: Have you, did you see a dress to school children?
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'll in like fall like clown make up.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, hey, he was like really prominent on their like a kind of tool post as well, which again makes sense.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_00]: But also politics, you know, empire has reform or whatever, it's not reform, but like that empire is now like going to be more present in AEW, but guess who's up there?
- 56:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_00]: I was actually.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was actually doing that.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_01]: I was post-titling.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_01]: I would have lost my mind if it's the fucking main event of family and a jagally consult.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, no, surprisingly, they did not fly into Europe and they also did not fly into the US either.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_00]: Oh god, I would not shock you if he sort of gets quietly move somewhere else and you know it.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because that was like like when they debuted it did a kind of position to him as like a potential like top guy in the faction and then just immediately were like yeah actually you know what know you're going to be a clown now.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_00]: No, I think he wants to be the clown.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they talk.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, you know what I'd actually make.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, here's the thing.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_01]: So was he already like pitch pitching this like dressed a gimmick to like Noah and all Japan and Dave of Shot him down and New Japan finally was like the one that was like yeah, okay, sure do it.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: Right, because he was already doing the laugh and everything like it just seems like such like him leaning into something he's been
- 57:53[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's evolved.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a combination of evolving and him having to stand out in New Japan plus him getting injured.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, blowing out his detois now in his Grover's career, plus having to stand out in New Japan.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_00]: Just leave, this is a path to pettancy that has been created.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, fair.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_01]: We found the Joker.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_01]: And somehow he's still not the rest of us and you know, I did empire.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_00]: all he he's buying for that that thing with now to be fair this he is so much better than great O'Con.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_00]: His career has been higher than the great O'Con's.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you're question about that, but today no no like did you see great O'Con's dream on?
- 58:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's a bit of it.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's like there's zero effort.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like, at least Drake is like trying when he need like, okay, like this might have viewed a surgery, like his title, metrafeared a surgery was absolute dark shit.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_01]: But like, and again, he was also one of the weakest wrestlers in the G1, the full.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_01]: But like, great O'Con is just like, A, he's not very good, and then B, he's not trying at all in the slightest.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's really bad.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_01]: It was embarrassing.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_00]: So one more tag team that I totally forgot existed.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_00]: Do you remember wild network?
- 59:10[SPEAKER_00]: Wild network?
- 59:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_01]: Who is that?
- 59:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so sorry.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_01]: And... Raichi Kawakami.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Jesus.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_00]: And then they teamed a bunch of 2014, 2015, and they had a couple appearances in 2014, and then they had a couple matches also in zero one and big,
- 59:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, hey, so yeah, also having a bit of a tendency to, like, team with guys that I really, really wanted to be better than they actually ended up being.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yes, uh, Kawakami, you know, that's so, speaking of, I was so happy when he got traded to Glide and I was like, oh, finally he's gonna get like a chance to like, really show and it's like, no, actually that's nothing, they're all right, never mind.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, uh, speaking of Noah speaking of great, have you watched any of these great versus team Noah stuff because I have not.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_01]: No, no.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to waste my time with that.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_00]: And it's drying nothing, but like there's, I mean, as you should tell me there's a big star and no offense could tell.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, come come home.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, or not.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's not great.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, that's it's I mean all of this like great has been doing this like crossover stuff like basically like for like a good chunk of the career right in it never draws well at least they've kind of stopped saying that these are like drawing shows right like so at least that doesn't negatively affect like the emotion destroying record anymore like if we actually look at us some of like those I was going to say the algebra pan and good work.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like it was like basically like I was like, oh man, it's like the first all Japan like technically the first all Japan curriculum to draw like below like a thousand people in like a while and like same with like the like the crossover shows that it did with Noah, we're still even worse like I think the like didn't sum up those like Noah crossover shows draw like 500 people or something Yeah, yeah, it was nothing either right.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_01]: You know what he wanted to see them.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_01]: Not a gym, it didn't run green.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_01]: No, I had to be fan.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_01]: I could dream I hadn't drawn anywhere besides all the fans of the game.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm very, very briefly.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that I have just had no desire to watch any great.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'd rather watch Beach of Pan in great.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, absolutely, I mean, zero one is also like an actually like, if you can actually follow it when they actually like upload the shows, it is actually kind of a fun promotion to follow like it's very like basic meeting potatoes, but like it's just enjoyable.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing really on those shows to piss you off or it's great.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_01]: Well, like, I don't know, you're watching a great show and you're kind of enjoying yourself maybe and then the sick come out and it's like, all right, what are we doing here?
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_01]: And what are we doing?
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_01]: But then, Michiko comes out and is like, whatever, like, is she doing like an idol?
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, okay, I did actually watch like a great thing recently.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think I only briefly, I think I briefly tuned it to the show because I was live on YouTube.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, might as well look in.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, Michiko came out and she had like a weird, like, I love fan gimmick now, and I'm like, what?
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_01]: What's happening?
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_01]: Have you seen Kawakami's current gimmick?
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_01]: Away with like really bright colors and everything.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like a single covered in flowers.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for giving us to be like a baby face and like, Yeah.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_00]: Do we even talk about the fact that Jun Tan show that has last?
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think we did, but I think we did.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just like, yeah, pop up lower.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_00]: No one wanted to touch him.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_00]: Well, his gimmick herself.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like maybe he'll go somewhere once like people are like, you know, he's cooled off a little and they're like, okay, we can give you a new get-making.
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_01]: We can just forget that this brass knuckles thing ever happened.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm, for sure.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so that's, no, I mean, we're just all waiting for the n-1 to kick off.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_00]: We're what we're doing, but, uh, all Japan also has a tournament in September, but Dan, they had a busy August, and we picked up, um,
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_00]: because we've covered the first show, but then we go to the 15th where they had a double header and she can keep a first ring because they were had to show that it's supposed to be on a 22nd and Cuma Moto.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_00]: We've gotten canceled because of the earthquake.
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_00]: So they did two shows and she didn't keep up to sort of fix that.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_00]: that happening.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_00]: So on the first the afternoon show, which both shows the while we're listed at Super Doge and Super House, the evening show, 232 and then the afternoon show, just 322.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, there's a keep us both always draw like really well.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember the last time they haven't called Super Doge and Super Doge and Super Doge, I was just to keep it.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_00]: I know what I'm about that.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they sell out really fast.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't know if this one sold out really fast, but like again,
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_01]: And as I always mentioned, like, when I tried to go in January, it was sold out two weeks and advance already.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_00]: So the first match on the afternoon show was a block bee in the Zinichi, junior festival, time of the drug, Dan Tamarov versus Misaki Mochizuki, God's exhaust.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_00]: Just, it's Israel's, like, just, yeah, it's exactly what I wanted out of these two.
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_01]: Just pick out a ticket.
- 1:04:34[SPEAKER_00]: Also, and they managed to feel that like I did not thought this dragged it all.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_01]: God, they I hate time limit draws normally, but this was the rare time limit draw I actually liked.
- 1:04:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, for sure.
- 1:04:47[SPEAKER_00]: And then we had UAAO key to being Mr.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_00]: Senator and we were doing 1040 with the Kessigiri Chop.
- 1:04:53[SPEAKER_00]: Another
- 1:04:54[SPEAKER_00]: Perfectly solid match.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you know, I mean, we all talk about this but like God he's awesome.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, definitely.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think like I don't even think he was the best guy and like I think it was a really strong tournament.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like, but I don't think he was the best guy to turn, but he was one of the best guys in the tournament, guys.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, and then Hokotol Mory, if you'd show the Kufuji in 1327 with the cross arm breaker,
- 1:05:18[SPEAKER_00]: There was one whole more imagine, like, but I just feel like he's super grressed.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's kind of regressing back to lathe, and it's now, yeah, I was very much like early on.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, okay, he seems to be wrestling more at his like natural weight and everything, so maybe that will like improve his performances.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_01]: But
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it seems like it was just an early burst, and now it's just back to Samo's Pokutou like being like, well, pretty bad at Singlet's mattress.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he had a good 20, 25 when he wasn't doing stupid shit.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_00]: Because there was like some good champ and condolences.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_00]: I really like this triple crown match against Kento.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_00]: But he has not kept that up.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_01]: No, very much not.
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and the main event rising high over to Saki Oshiyoka defeated Saki Oshiyoka in 1640 with the Sid Vicious and, um, I think it was good.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of expected Bora.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, I mean, generally just like, what did you think of like, higher to us like tournament overall?
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it turned out like, don't think this was, it wasn't this last matchup, but like, you know, he didn't finish the tournament so.
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it was underwhelming and then overshadowed by his exit.
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, right.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_00]: Although I'll talk about something in a minute, uh, sort of related to that.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_00]: And then we go to the afternoon show, Block B, U-A-O-P-D-F-D-F-D-F-D with the Kessigiri Chop in 1346.
- 1:06:36[SPEAKER_00]: This was a lot of fun.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_00]: Again, Kofuji, like, lots of, not sure, but like, God, he was great too, as it is wrong.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think he's moved firmly moving out of, like, I think it's officially moved out of, like,
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and then we had, uh, Yashhtak Yannard defeating Leon to Oro in, uh, 1048 with the German Suplex holds.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think of Leon to Oro?
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_00]: Is it worth bringing him back?
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_00]: Not because he's, but he's like, needs work.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's, he's fine.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I would bring him back to be honest.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like, seemed very much like a replacement level wrestler overall.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like not bad.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if this really much dare to really like improve upon, I don't know, like it's he was fine.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like he was incredibly forgettable, like it's like a very much felt that during like the finals show in the like multi-man tag.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_01]: But I like I had like that moment where I was like, oh right, he's in this too.
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_01]: And that's just how I felt about his whole tournament.
- 1:07:43[SPEAKER_01]: All right, yeah, Lee under all of us also in this tournament.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_01]: I forgot.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_01]: Well, do you think this junior division needs to lose your door not really and if it if you do want to put some I don't know.
- 1:07:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think you can find somebody better to be honest.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's fair.
- 1:07:57[SPEAKER_00]: And then we also had a Hobarton mori defeating Mr. Saturn.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_00]: You do an 11 17 with the moose.
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_00]: So it's in a kind of a gable again like.
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm worried, didn't really stand out at all.
- 1:08:08[SPEAKER_00]: And then the main event of Wusashi versus Sengot touchy Bonham went to a 30 minute draw, which actually thought it was pretty good.
- 1:08:15[SPEAKER_00]: Not as good as the other 30 minute draw there.
- 1:08:17[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_01]: Again, this was one of those things where it's like, and again, where I don't like 40 minute draws, which again, with the rate exceptions, and this one, I felt like I kind of like a kid because of the feud and all of that, but like, I don't know, like just, I don't know.
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_01]: I get that, like, there you had to shuffle some things around because of the injury to, like, to Aoki, and not Aoki to Aoki to Aoki, right?
- 1:08:45[SPEAKER_01]: So, like, you had to change some of your plans that you originally had, but still, like, it just gives me a bit of size of finish.
- 1:08:53[SPEAKER_00]: And then on the 21st decade, Dijima, Mesa, Nagasaki.
- 1:08:58[SPEAKER_00]: We had Usashi defeating Yasutaki Yano in 1134 with the tortura.
- 1:09:03[SPEAKER_00]: I actually thought that was a decent little opener.
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_00]: And then we had Leon de Orro defeating Sekiyoshi, okay, it's 16 with the Hurricane Rana.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, by Leon de Orro's standards, I thought this is one of his better matches because we're short.
- 1:09:16[SPEAKER_00]: Good, it was short, yeah.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_00]: And it kept it basic, you know.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, kind of felt like one of those old junior tournament matches.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like remember when they had to junior tournament matches and none of them were allowed to go like, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:09:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like they were all like five to eight minutes, basically.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_00]: And then we had a Masaki mochizuki defeating Shota Fuji in 934 with the Twister, which was a lot of fun.
- 1:09:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:09:43[SPEAKER_00]: And then Dan Tamara defeated Mr. Saturn Rookie during 1348 with the power bomb, which was another good match.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_00]: Just guys have good chemistry even though you wouldn't think it.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_01]: And then I mean, I do have to say I did like at the less than like title match.
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_00]: But it was still a good match.
- 1:10:02[SPEAKER_00]: I was still a good match.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_00]: And then the mate of that segment touching body defeating rising hi-auto in 2108 with the Yankee hammer and Not to be the safety police, but you could have cut some time off of this gotten docked Knocked Yeah, I just got knocked a fuck out and then he just sort of botching spots and so like they had a nice layout to this match and Touchy body tried to hold it together.
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_00]: This really pretty good if there was this probably what have been hi-auto's best tournament match
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yes it would have been like it was there the structure was there.
- 1:10:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like you could see it It's just that one guy wasn't conscious essentially.
- 1:10:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh god.
- 1:10:41[SPEAKER_00]: I can't believe just let that go on and everything like that.
- 1:10:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah Yeah, that that's one of those right like you're gonna kind of have to make a call with like okay Like touch upon it was gonna win anyway, so you just go for the finish.
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_01]: I know it's the main event of whatever but like yeah That that was not good And that's sort of like
- 1:11:00[SPEAKER_00]: how high-dose tournament ended with a big wet fart.
- 1:11:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then we go to the next show at on the 23rd at Jibison, Carumi, if it's at 539 fans, the Sikyo Shio, contributing Yasa Takayano in 1110 with the crash driver.
- 1:11:17[SPEAKER_00]: That was actually a good opener.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and then we had, uh, Leon de Orrode defeating Sacred Taxi Bonnet in 724 with the Hurricane Rhona.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_00]: So you think of the idea?
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_00]: They kind of sort of, I felt like as it turned out, when they just put Leon de Orro in like.
- 1:11:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:11:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's also where they quickly realized that this does not match their really right, like that's why they just went to like, okay, you get seven minutes.
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, however, uh, Masaki, which is zucchini, if you're you and you're okay in 1325 with the dragon soup looks whole than this raw and should have been like longer.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_01]: No, this was fucking awesome.
- 1:11:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like, this is definitely one of those matches for it's like, yeah, I mean, as you said, give them more time.
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like, come on.
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_01]: You know what, you know what, run, I mean, okay, you can't really run this back as a TV type of match because a okay loss, but like, come on, run this back as a TV type of match.
- 1:12:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_00]: And then the main event of the show, Dan Tamar, defeated Humberton Mori in 1642 with the power bomb, probably definitely won better on the Mori scale in the tournament, because he's working with his, you know, the guy here.
- 1:12:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, it's basically a heavyweight.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:12:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and then on the 25th, okay, uh, let's see here.
- 1:12:33[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, uh, I'll mention this because I watched it.
- 1:12:36[SPEAKER_00]: Go Sheo's hockey defeated Yasutaka Yano in 1725 with an animal's flow.
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_00]: And if you wanted more evidence of who got Yano into this company, it's not yet.
- 1:12:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it is a bullshit.
- 1:12:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it was a beat of a fucking missile was moved to yes, which will plan to something because it looks like I think this is now goes for sure.
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, which, okay, you know what I'm like, it's it's why not.
- 1:12:59[SPEAKER_01]: There is that connection is very deep, so it makes sense.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's funny because he cost plays as much as we saw about Russell for Kabashi.
- 1:13:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:13:11[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he is basically detrialled, like, yeah, he's been told about genetics, yeah, and he was, well, he both had great matches as their tag team partner at different times.
- 1:13:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, right.
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_00]: One of the titles in the saw, uh, had some famous matches with teaming with Kobashi.
- 1:13:26[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, he is, he is their love childhood.
- 1:13:28[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, so that's why, yeah, he going 17 minutes and yes, yeah, I don't, yes, he let
- 1:13:35[SPEAKER_01]: on a like on a show where it's like it's actually supposed to be the focus of supposed to be on like the junior tournament matches.
- 1:13:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now mind you, Yano was supposed to face how I don't on this show and that's why this happened but still.
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_00]: And then Musashi defeated Leon to R.O.
- 1:13:49[SPEAKER_00]: double or sorry, no, it was in his feet.
- 1:13:51[SPEAKER_00]: Double cat out and we could figure out why that happened.
- 1:13:55[SPEAKER_01]: So perfectly to make the half the points make sense.
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like I like I said, I don't like it, but I get it.
- 1:14:00[SPEAKER_00]: No, the main about Sechioshioca, if you did a single touchy button, 1708, the sliding kick in that was a very strong mean event.
- 1:14:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:14:07[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's, I think, again, I think, I think you're, like, I've tried, like, I think probably overall, Dan, it's my, what's my favorite guy from the entire tournament.
- 1:14:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, God, you know, everyone, like, there was a lot of guys who were good.
- 1:14:20[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, you put, okay, let's put Lyon to oral at the bottom, and then Hokutou.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_01]: Well, maybe he'll talk about it, but it doesn't have that many great mattress and then yeah, yeah, but then you're Ayoki mochizuki touchy bonnet.
- 1:14:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you know, that's like I'm wasashi was wasashi was mostly solid.
- 1:14:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think wasashi You look kind of like a bit of a standout second here
- 1:14:50[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, you're see, Oka was pretty great.
- 1:14:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I mean, it was, it was a strong tournament despite the hiccups.
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_00]: And it would have been a better tournament, of course, if Hayed or didn't get injured because that match would have been okay.
- 1:15:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_01]: Would it have been a better tournament if Aoyagi wasn't there?
- 1:15:08[SPEAKER_00]: Well, see Paul, this is what I wanted to do.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_00]: Because I can remove much of Zuki, right?
- 1:15:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's the problem here.
- 1:15:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:15:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, here's the thing.
- 1:15:15[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, real in a way is injured and we love him, but like this tournament at one point had no had the their top two guys out of it, Atsuki and Hayato and it's still kick.
- 1:15:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's still take that as if.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_00]: Why the improvement for the junior division in this company?
- 1:15:31[SPEAKER_00]: Which makes me wonder.
- 1:15:32[SPEAKER_00]: Baffling actually.
- 1:15:35[SPEAKER_00]: Which is also why like I'm like we need Kosuke Sato and Altsapan and we'll just make it a power junior division.
- 1:15:41[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think it's due.
- 1:15:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean, I mean, A.O.
- 1:15:45[SPEAKER_01]: Aggie will have to like change a style and he comes back because like, yeah, he's going to blow it as low of all of his knees like, yeah, again, again, we were talking about like a potential stylistic change, you know, like, that's another guy that probably will have to like, maybe look at that tree won't final and be like, you know what, maybe I should start wrestling more like that.
- 1:16:03[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, if anything, Adski sort of does need to fill in some of the negative space, quote unquote.
- 1:16:09[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, not very good at that.
- 1:16:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's what he does between the moves, which is nothing.
- 1:16:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:16:16[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, finishing sequence has gotten just very formulaic, yeah, which I'm saying for a while.
- 1:16:22[SPEAKER_01]: Um,
- 1:16:23[SPEAKER_01]: which to be fair isn't necessarily bad because cantos are too but like their formulae in a bad way or even more formulae like the cantos if you watch is watching the title right yeah just move by movement it is to say okay i'm going to hit a moon song and then another moon song and then the barber's five at least cantos can build drama for yeah to yeah fair like that that's the other problem like the formulae and the boring so yeah yeah um
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_00]: So we go, uh, Hiroshima Industrial Hall East Exhibition Hall with 418 fans.
- 1:16:57[SPEAKER_00]: So we had Dan Tamarad defeating short of Confucian Hall 40 with the power bomb.
- 1:17:00[SPEAKER_00]: Again, Confucius up there too even if you, that we've locked every back.
- 1:17:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's a solid, like you look competitive.
- 1:17:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing, right?
- 1:17:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like you're squashed.
- 1:17:09[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 1:17:10[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, and then Mr.
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_00]: Senator Kidoi defeated, uh, Masachi mochizuki in 748 with the Samson clutch.
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_00]: Again, these guys were just like, uh,
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_01]: It sounds like this was like the first single smash and like an absurdly long amount of time.
- 1:17:26[SPEAKER_01]: which I actually said in like, because somebody was like, oh, it's greater like, Dragon Gate just doesn't like, like, like, like, some of these like big matches happens really, and I'm like, actually to me, it seems kind of like a waste of great talent that like these two haven't had a single match.
- 1:17:42[SPEAKER_01]: And like, I think it was like 12 years.
- 1:17:44[SPEAKER_01]: And if really only had like three singles matches total in Dragon Gate against each other, like that's actually a waste of great talent.
- 1:17:51[SPEAKER_00]: We need to, they need to run like a 20 minute TV title and that should not be perfect.
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_00]: and uh uh the semi the quote unquote main event was uh quote quote more infitting UAAOK in 1436 with the moves so asin and actually to refer i enjoyed this but i don't only see that quote quote only two of quote quote tells matches were memorable what it got dead yeah but both against okay yeah it's exactly which again
- 1:18:19[SPEAKER_01]: This is also basically a heavyweight match against the quality of the fucking strong champion.
- 1:18:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:18:26[SPEAKER_00]: And then, of course, Mochizuki and Dan retired.
- 1:18:30[SPEAKER_00]: So we had a main event of Dan Tamar defeating Masachi Mochizuki to win the B block in 1232 with the last ride.
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_00]: This was not as good as their 30-minute draw, but it was exactly what it needs to be, and I thought Dan sold, like, having to come out again and wrestle quite well.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know, what I love to see like a 20-minute match between these two that has like a definitive finish, yes.
- 1:18:56[SPEAKER_00]: But this was good for, uh, to sort of close at the block, so yeah.
- 1:18:59[SPEAKER_00]: And what was it on this wall?
- 1:19:02[SPEAKER_00]: It was a, it was a very good tournament, but I think for the reasons that people did not expect.
- 1:19:07[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 1:19:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm actually, okay, where would we rank this one in terms of like all Japan, singles, junior tournaments?
- 1:19:16[SPEAKER_01]: It has to be at least top five, right?
- 1:19:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like easily.
- 1:19:19[SPEAKER_01]: In since since the Russell won split top five, he's... Yeah, like because like I think actually since the Russell won split, it's probably the best one.
- 1:19:28[SPEAKER_00]: That actually might be true.
- 1:19:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:19:30[SPEAKER_01]: But I can't think of anyone since that split that were even close to this.
- 1:19:35[SPEAKER_01]: All of the singles ones.
- 1:19:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like a lot of them were fine.
- 1:19:38[SPEAKER_01]: But we've never had a really good one like this.
- 1:19:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like go to great.
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_01]: The one that tournament that I cure wanted, I was not bad.
- 1:19:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's probably the closest one.
- 1:19:51[SPEAKER_00]: But that was single elimination, wasn't it?
- 1:19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I want to say so.
- 1:19:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:19:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but yeah, I mean for sure, and it's funny because you lost your sort of junior ace in his the number two junior You know during this tournament so then also follow up is that was this the best junior tournament this year Yes, so for sure like I know it still has stairs coming up, but yeah, like I fell for this with definitely better than best This is super true And also better than that like great tournament this all
- 1:20:26[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't want to.
- 1:20:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:20:28[SPEAKER_00]: So we go on to the Al Jepaper Russell, Neptune, exclamation mark, summer action war is 2026.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_00]: at Ibaro wave arena, oh time, you've heard of 3,068 fans, which is a stunning success that's slight and that's even slightly up on the chamber carnival like 10 people I think.
- 1:20:44[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll Japan is so hot right now, but we'll talk about that in a minute.
- 1:20:48[SPEAKER_00]: So to start off the show, short of confusion defeated, send your set of 601 with the ground, mind you got to me, which is the, uh, he gets his big win.
- 1:20:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, again.
- 1:20:57[SPEAKER_01]: Again, firmly out of young, young, young, proud goes wild.
- 1:21:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's out of the way guys now.
- 1:21:03[SPEAKER_00]: Road to the 13th auto tournament, you may have Yagi Shotaro's, you know, right behind it.
- 1:21:08[SPEAKER_00]: He got what defeated Hadecki Suzuki when I had a Kuma Rashi in Dizuke's second motor of 10 or three with the Jackknife hold from I.R.
- 1:21:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't we all get on I have a now we discussed the possibilities of this tournament on our last episode But it's it's fair to say that they're gonna heat up.
- 1:21:25[SPEAKER_00]: You'm a bad you my fetus.
- 1:21:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:21:27[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 1:21:28[SPEAKER_00]: He is a he's gonna be a player.
- 1:21:30[SPEAKER_00]: So adjust your You know predictions accordingly.
- 1:21:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think
- 1:21:34[SPEAKER_01]: Look, I mean, again, we all have to probably take a little step back as well and just remind ourselves that, like, yes, he had a very shaky, like, 20, 25, where he did a lot of weird stuff.
- 1:21:48[SPEAKER_01]: But when he's on, he is one of the greatest wrestlers on the planet.
- 1:21:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that is also the case.
- 1:21:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he is.
- 1:21:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I don't, he is.
- 1:21:55[SPEAKER_00]: I have to admit it.
- 1:21:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like, if, like, but I get it, like, it was bad.
- 1:22:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like, 25 was so bad.
- 1:22:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it was,
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_00]: If I think of this company, I'm like, I don't know.
- 1:22:07[SPEAKER_00]: This is other people I kind of want to prioritize right now, or I've been in it.
- 1:22:11[SPEAKER_00]: I get it, but the ones that like your fans are.
- 1:22:14[SPEAKER_01]: You can't even make the argument that he's too old.
- 1:22:16[SPEAKER_01]: He's like floating on.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_01]: Is he still floating on a floaty?
- 1:22:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think he's sure he won this year.
- 1:22:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so, you know, I know, I know.
- 1:22:25[SPEAKER_00]: Look, honestly, if I had the book, I'd be pushing on there.
- 1:22:28[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, same, same.
- 1:22:29[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, no, like I am still holding out hope that he's gonna like win the tournament and everything because it's just a story that makes the most sense, but yeah, we'll see.
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_00]: And then, so we had rising hat on Musashi, Hoko Tomori, Yasu Takuyano and Mochizuki Jr. appearing again, which is a good sign versus Musaki, Mochizuki, Mr. Saturnu, Kidoi, Sikotachi, Bona, Yui, Eoki, and Leon, to R11013, sort of like a big win from Yano, I'm not Suzuki with the cross like cradle thing.
- 1:23:02[SPEAKER_00]: And that sets up a TV title challenge.
- 1:23:06[SPEAKER_00]: So now we've got two junior titles basically in this company.
- 1:23:09[SPEAKER_01]: Essentially, I mean, I mean, a gay or a TV title was always a bit floaty anyway.
- 1:23:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:23:16[SPEAKER_00]: See, I thought Leon or who looked the best in this match did in the whole tournament.
- 1:23:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean I guess so but again like the feeling I had in this match was like oh yeah right he's in this too like there was like yeah some sort of like polar part of whatever and then he ended my screen and I was like oh right yes you're here too
- 1:23:35[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I was, I was focused on like the Mochi Zuki's facing off.
- 1:23:39[SPEAKER_01]: That that was the best part of the whole match for sure.
- 1:23:43[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, special.
- 1:23:43[SPEAKER_00]: I wish, hope anyway gets back here because I love that Mochi Zuki in a way team.
- 1:23:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:23:48[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, can you imagine like again, once in a way returns like the
- 1:23:52[SPEAKER_00]: the vision is going to get so much better, too.
- 1:23:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:23:56[SPEAKER_00]: Special Sikos Vashavrao winning or Gosheo is lucky if you've been in Suwama in 1417.
- 1:24:01[SPEAKER_00]: With the Emerald Flosion, and boy, this did not disappoint.
- 1:24:04[SPEAKER_00]: This is exactly what I expect.
- 1:24:06[SPEAKER_00]: The only critique I would make is that those people, who clearly were not watching the spot shows on this tournament, kind of were silent and did not expect to go to one of that Emerald Flosion.
- 1:24:16[SPEAKER_00]: I saw him hit it.
- 1:24:19[SPEAKER_00]: I knew he was going to get the win because he pinned in the end or with it.
- 1:24:23[SPEAKER_00]: But other than that, I mean, this rock.
- 1:24:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:24:25[SPEAKER_01]: No, this was awesome.
- 1:24:26[SPEAKER_01]: Just like Swama, just again, like just
- 1:24:31[SPEAKER_01]: this morning at like Shiosaki and Shiosaki just like again like I said like to tragic here right like the underdog baby face just like absolutely getting pelter by Suama and just refusing to give up and everything and and somehow managing to like fight his way back and and hits him with his like mentors move to actually like get to him like to like hit him with like the legend of two of the two promotions that have the like to find go Shiosaki's career.
- 1:24:59[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:25:00[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, so they, they reconciled after the match and uh, is this a tease to a real world tag league team or do you think could get this coming in?
- 1:25:07[SPEAKER_01]: No, I do think go and survive.
- 1:25:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be teaming in the real world tag.
- 1:25:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like, which, that's an awesome team too.
- 1:25:13[SPEAKER_00]: That is an awesome.
- 1:25:14[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, so I'm cool with that.
- 1:25:16[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, and then for the world tag team championship,
- 1:25:19[SPEAKER_00]: Jude said our race set out defeated Zion in Odyssey in 853 with the Yacht-Diamond Cyclone from June on Zion.
- 1:25:26[SPEAKER_00]: Paul, I'm not going to complain.
- 1:25:28[SPEAKER_00]: People said this match was no good.
- 1:25:30[SPEAKER_00]: I liked it for what it was because they did this in 853.
- 1:25:34[SPEAKER_00]: They hit all, they did the the perfunctory setters brawling outside the ring.
- 1:25:39[SPEAKER_00]: They did a bunch of throwing bombs at each other.
- 1:25:41[SPEAKER_00]: Bam, it's over completely and offensive.
- 1:25:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, again, because again, I don't really want to have a team to even really be like again, it's just established to scientists better.
- 1:25:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like the scientists just went in there, they just completely dominated their opponents essentially.
- 1:25:57[SPEAKER_01]: Just beat them in under 10 minutes and just like write it just really established them as like insanely dominant champions, which is what they should be.
- 1:26:06[SPEAKER_01]: So like this was exactly the right thing to do.
- 1:26:09[SPEAKER_01]: And because this also wasn't supposed to match that is supposed to be the focus of the show.
- 1:26:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like you had like two matches after this, then we're gonna go long.
- 1:26:17[SPEAKER_01]: So like it's no, like you had a match before this, it went like decently long as well.
- 1:26:22[SPEAKER_01]: So like if you just give people like forward super long matches in a row that's gonna burn them out.
- 1:26:29[SPEAKER_01]: And you don't want them burned out for the next two matches.
- 1:26:31[SPEAKER_01]: So you have this thing,
- 1:26:33[SPEAKER_01]: go in the real quick, just do a bunch of brawling, get out of there on under 10 minutes, and like that just, it's a much better way of like getting the crowd going.
- 1:26:41[SPEAKER_00]: This is a, this is like what if, have it's best back?
- 1:26:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, probably was.
- 1:26:47[SPEAKER_00]: If you think about it, like, because those are, there's no time for selling.
- 1:26:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:26:51[SPEAKER_00]: So that, that's never going to be.
- 1:26:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:26:54[SPEAKER_00]: the Titans of Clambity were a little like, uh, you know, and, uh, yeah, this is actually what she had been for the whole time.
- 1:27:01[SPEAKER_00]: And so that would move on to the, um, Zenichi, junior festival finals, second year she opened defeated Dan Tamar in 2014 with the cross driver.
- 1:27:09[SPEAKER_00]: And again, another great match, Dan,
- 1:27:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's getting by vote for the FSM 50 this year and I have talked to Alan about this and he is also going to be probably voting for Dan and Did he this was the finals and the result the whole time not really I mean I didn't really have a good like I didn't expect that to go all the way to the finals to be honest
- 1:27:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I could see like I kind of had a bit on my list beforehand, right?
- 1:27:38[SPEAKER_01]: Because he had just been such a big focus of the junior division throughout the year, right, like with a few movements, actually, and all of that.
- 1:27:47[SPEAKER_01]: So that didn't necessarily surprise me.
- 1:27:48[SPEAKER_01]: It surprised me that he won, I guess.
- 1:27:50[SPEAKER_01]: not when he's up against the champion, it makes sense that he like wins it.
- 1:27:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like if he had been against anybody else, I would have been more surprised that he won the match.
- 1:27:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, it's well deserved.
- 1:28:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like he was fucking awesome, and that's too.
- 1:28:03[SPEAKER_01]: Just again, I think also what's so great about Dan, as well, instead Dan is like to bake power junior, but he's also really good at showing random ability, right?
- 1:28:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's really good at dominating you, but when it's his time to sell,
- 1:28:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:28:21[SPEAKER_00]: So after the match, people come out and start challenging not just for the Jujube title of a for the everybody comes out like everybody comes out.
- 1:28:29[SPEAKER_00]: So on Sunday, October 11th, that Sunday, some plans a haul for the vacant Ollie's take titles.
- 1:28:35[SPEAKER_00]: We're getting Dan Tamera and Sago Tachy Bonin versus Mouslossi and Seki Ochioka.
- 1:28:41[SPEAKER_00]: Which is a show that probably will also have a side old brother's take title of the
- 1:28:50[SPEAKER_00]: backstage comments from the show.
- 1:28:52[SPEAKER_00]: I did not know.
- 1:28:54[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so basically, uh, uh, Seigo says he wants to team with Dan because, uh, Jero is annoying him and it's not acceptable because it's, entrance to, okay, touch you on it.
- 1:29:05[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the quote.
- 1:29:06[SPEAKER_00]: The leader of up to the promotional side belonged to his crochet of Tokyo, Japan, but his entrance takes too long and the show gets too long.
- 1:29:13[SPEAKER_00]: So he's no good.
- 1:29:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I'm going to find a set.
- 1:29:15[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:29:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's a completely different challenge.
- 1:29:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's the guy that literally does nothing during sentence.
- 1:29:23[SPEAKER_01]: The guy that literally just walks out in a straight line tutoring just gets in the ringbows and that's it.
- 1:29:30[SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, that's going to be a banger of a match I think.
- 1:29:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:29:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, absolutely.
- 1:29:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like I could see was basically what I could see happening is basically Musashi.
- 1:29:40[SPEAKER_01]: Nishioka when they all age at titles and then then like they're like keeps the title based.
- 1:29:45[SPEAKER_01]: They're keeps the single title.
- 1:29:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:29:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's sort of what I'm thinking too.
- 1:29:50[SPEAKER_00]: And then we go to the main event for the triple crown.
- 1:29:52[SPEAKER_00]: Can't you tell me how hard I defeated Yuma Anzai in 3134 with the shutdown.
- 1:29:57[SPEAKER_00]: German super told to make his ninth defense of the title because there's a lot to unpack your Paul.
- 1:30:02[SPEAKER_00]: This matches great.
- 1:30:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it was as good as New Year's Eve.
- 1:30:06[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe just below that.
- 1:30:08[SPEAKER_00]: But obviously still one of the best algebraian matches of this year.
- 1:30:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I thought you had a little push back, but still overwhelmingly positive and I can understand maybe some of the push a lot of drama They they kicked out of each other's finishers.
- 1:30:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but to me the question is did they miss the mark with I strike it ends on
- 1:30:28[SPEAKER_01]: I do think yes, unfortunately.
- 1:30:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like I do think they should have put it on Anzai here.
- 1:30:34[SPEAKER_01]: There is something to be said for sticking with the plan that you already had, but if you have a guy that is this heart that is drawing this many people, that is this young and everything, you kind that just have to roll.
- 1:30:45[SPEAKER_01]: But especially since it wouldn't have been his first title.
- 1:30:49[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 1:30:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like if it's a guy that
- 1:30:51[SPEAKER_01]: Ed just debuted and everything and then he gets hard and like starts drawing people and all of that But you're still like I don't know if he should put Paul the trigger on him to make this his first title win Especially if he didn't plan it in advance.
- 1:31:05[SPEAKER_01]: I get that but like that's not the case here, right?
- 1:31:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like it would have been a second title win
- 1:31:10[SPEAKER_01]: And you really should have just struck while the iron is hard.
- 1:31:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you really risk that like the next time you come around to a match to speak for him, he isn't that hard anymore.
- 1:31:22[SPEAKER_01]: And like, maybe that works out for them, right?
- 1:31:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm not saying that like, oh, this group now or whatever, and like, no.
- 1:31:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a risk I would have been willing to take.
- 1:31:33[SPEAKER_01]: I would have just been like, okay, fuck it.
- 1:31:36[SPEAKER_01]: Let's rewrite our plans for the rest of the year and we're gonna go with Anza, I.S.
- 1:31:41[SPEAKER_01]: champion.
- 1:31:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:31:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like, would you have done that as well?
- 1:31:43[SPEAKER_01]: Or would you hope do you think that it was the right call to keep it on Kento?
- 1:31:48[SPEAKER_00]: I, I would probably have gone with the Anzai as well.
- 1:31:51[SPEAKER_00]: I just felt like the time you got in in wrestling town is everything in this time to drag it out.
- 1:31:56[SPEAKER_00]: You were not, uh, New Japan in 2018.
- 1:31:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's not, no, no, no, no, to 2020.
- 1:32:04[SPEAKER_00]: And they were right.
- 1:32:04[SPEAKER_00]: They got away with it.
- 1:32:05[SPEAKER_00]: They depend that ruin that plan.
- 1:32:08[SPEAKER_00]: But because, but that's because they had, like, let's go full of that, right?
- 1:32:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like, but that's also because they had like Tanahashi still being great and it had, like,
- 1:32:17[SPEAKER_01]: Omega coming up and being like like sending to the main event and being great.
- 1:32:22[SPEAKER_01]: They had like prime like Kizuchko card as well.
- 1:32:26[SPEAKER_01]: So like if you have like if you have just the roster that deep, you can get away with doing a move like that and just risking it all on just pushing it just that little bit further to see if you can get an even bigger payoff.
- 1:32:39[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't know if all
- 1:32:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's, what's a little better in all Japan's, or what's not the worst in all Japan's cases that it's on Kento as opposed to like June site.
- 1:32:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, I know like it's at least it's on a guy that like no that like it's gonna still be like we're still gonna get like great like great like great like triple cron mattress and everything It's just like you're just risking and again like when whenever ans I win like you're still gonna be a big deal and everything It's just there's a question if you could have turned them into an even bigger deal if you had just gone with them here Yeah, cuz like can't talk basically did our weird
- 1:33:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:33:25[SPEAKER_00]: I almost feel like, was this like, did they decide to, they felt like they had to run this match now, whatever reason.
- 1:33:35[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like, like, it just didn't feel like it was planned to do that here.
- 1:33:39[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I feel, I think this very much felt like they were like, okay, he's like super popular right now, so we need to do this now.
- 1:33:46[SPEAKER_00]: So, um,
- 1:33:48[SPEAKER_00]: Cantos clearly going to set the defense record.
- 1:33:51[SPEAKER_00]: Now it'd be Anzly here, right?
- 1:33:53[SPEAKER_00]: So he only has to do that.
- 1:33:54[SPEAKER_00]: He only needs two more wins.
- 1:33:55[SPEAKER_00]: So he's probably going to face hopefully Ryuki Honda.
- 1:33:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and maybe someone else.
- 1:34:01[SPEAKER_00]: So what what's the play here?
- 1:34:02[SPEAKER_00]: You just run this back and get it December 31st because I really don't think Anzly needs to walk out of December 31st at the title.
- 1:34:09[SPEAKER_00]: I don't come on unless it's filming all this shit.
- 1:34:12[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, that's the thing, yeah, I mean, it's also still the question like that I mean the big question mark for me and all of this is go, yeah, I had like the question that I still have is like okay, do they maybe at some point also want to like pull the trigger and put the title on go.
- 1:34:30[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you could still have a goby canto and then the answer would go because it doesn't beat and go yet.
- 1:34:39[SPEAKER_01]: No, like you could do that.
- 1:34:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like, and go doesn't need like a long title, right?
- 1:34:43[SPEAKER_01]: Really?
- 1:34:44[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 1:34:44[SPEAKER_01]: So you could very well give goal, like a really quick, like gold watch, like title, right?
- 1:34:50[SPEAKER_01]: And essentially, like puts over an answer on New Year's Eve.
- 1:34:54[SPEAKER_01]: Then an answer, kind of carries the belt.
- 1:34:57[SPEAKER_01]: And then Kento wins the like champion carnival and that's when like Anzai then like beats Kento basically like he doesn't win the title of him He like if he like defense the title against them instead.
- 1:35:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's already he's already the front of the title against Kento
- 1:35:14[SPEAKER_01]: I, yeah, I don't, I don't that you already, but you know, like it's more like within this whole, like, yeah, storyline that the currently doing what's like, I mean, like, I know he technically has already overcome Kent of what it's like, they very much are doing the storyline where he needs to overcome Kent of.
- 1:35:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, I mean, as a storyline where Kentor comes roaring back and sort of, like, gets two wins over, and I just say, hey, I'm not dead yet.
- 1:35:36[SPEAKER_01]: I like that, you know, that work, but like the next one, like the next one, like, and I have to win.
- 1:35:42[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:35:43[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, I think they should just run cantoverses, and so again, in New Year's Eve, they just have, and so I win.
- 1:35:52[SPEAKER_00]: Go, I don't know, like his, here's the thing.
- 1:35:54[SPEAKER_00]: And so I need the nice juicy rain, right?
- 1:35:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is second rain, it should be a long one.
- 1:36:00[SPEAKER_00]: And then it's like, it needs to be at least six months.
- 1:36:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh,
- 1:36:04[SPEAKER_01]: a year yeah yeah no no no no like a like realistically it should be yeah absolutely and then by that point it's like well do you want to belt up go even as a transitional champion yeah oh you could be too sharp by them to even be a transitional champion yeah exactly that's why i'm thinking like if you want to put it on go you kind of have to do it now
- 1:36:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it doesn't really need it either.
- 1:36:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's the other thing though.
- 1:36:28[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't really need it.
- 1:36:30[SPEAKER_00]: He might be able to be doing it in a year.
- 1:36:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's just a gamble.
- 1:36:34[SPEAKER_00]: If you're like, I'm going to give it to go next year.
- 1:36:37[SPEAKER_00]: It may work out just fine, but it may not.
- 1:36:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's a big gamble.
- 1:36:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the question also is if I like, I don't know if you give like right of anti-basically holds it for like all of 2027, I mean, then the question becomes like at the end of
- 1:36:53[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to need someone else, that's also to step up.
- 1:36:59[SPEAKER_01]: Because he can't just basically do the thing, like, and I went to the title of Kento holds it for a year, and then loses it back to Kento.
- 1:37:06[SPEAKER_01]: That would be or even go.
- 1:37:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't, I feel like he can properly rehab like Yuma, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh
- 1:37:15[SPEAKER_01]: You just do the humor, you know, you just do the humor at like at the end of 20 27.
- 1:37:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got can't I pay for that match.
- 1:37:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's how it was only 37 years old, too.
- 1:37:29[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, there's, you know, it very much would be kind of like.
- 1:37:34[SPEAKER_00]: not great if you just go back to capital that there's also something positive did you see that the week before the show as I had the cover of weekly fight or shoe pro or really yeah which two to be the tip off because like you would think if you had one the triple crown you wouldn't have yeah they wouldn't have put them on the weekly story yeah
- 1:37:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I had a feeling it was going to lose when he kicked out of the shut down.
- 1:38:02[SPEAKER_00]: And then, so available from the September 9th show in Shinigawa, onwards, is the first Yuma Anzai photo book.
- 1:38:12[SPEAKER_00]: Paul, you won't like to cover because it's him wearing a grubey packer's t-shirt.
- 1:38:15[SPEAKER_00]: I got them.
- 1:38:16[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, okay, I mean, hackers aren't too bad.
- 1:38:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like, not the most, like, I would have preferred it was a drift and team that was green.
- 1:38:27[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, but like I said, like, okay, he's got a photo book coming out.
- 1:38:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like, isn't this, I don't know.
- 1:38:32[SPEAKER_00]: If he disappears for a couple of months and it's like he's not on the Hokkaido tour or something, then I know why they didn't belt them up because he's going to film his movie and his ramen detective show whatever.
- 1:38:47[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I don't think this is a disaster, I just think, though, it's probably a little sketchy.
- 1:38:53[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if they're gonna try and push them more, it's like a cross-media star over all, essentially.
- 1:39:00[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's all I know.
- 1:39:01[SPEAKER_01]: Right, because now I'm wondering if the whole thing of like Fukuda, like consolidating is holding into one company, it's like part of that.
- 1:39:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's like all on the one roof, so you have like an easier time, like basically like getting like, and I into like all of the like film stuff that Fukuda has involved them.
- 1:39:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:39:23[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, let's see.
- 1:39:24[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, like, if you do that, then you do also have to, like, put this guy at the top of your promotion.
- 1:39:30[SPEAKER_01]: exactly.
- 1:39:31[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see.
- 1:39:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's like a disaster, but it's like I'm something to keep our eyes on.
- 1:39:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's a bit of a high head scratcher to be honest to me.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it just felt like that was the time.
- 1:39:41[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll say this is out.
- 1:39:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know, for all of it, for all we know, it'll turn out just fine, but the guy don't be 26 is the champion.
- 1:39:49[SPEAKER_00]: If he's not the champion after the 17th verse, what do we do?
- 1:39:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's like a, you know, like, blender.
- 1:39:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like the big one, right?
- 1:39:56[SPEAKER_01]: Because like, like, what is it?
- 1:39:57[SPEAKER_01]: Why is he here?
- 1:39:58[SPEAKER_01]: Or like, like, like, he has to be like, he's the young guy.
- 1:40:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like, like, I get if you want to do like some like, we had like, go share the key nostalgia thing.
- 1:40:07[SPEAKER_01]: But like, this isn't the time for nostalgia.
- 1:40:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, this is the time to like make the next top star that is going to be on the top of your promotion for like the next 20 years.
- 1:40:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, exactly.
- 1:40:17[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, so, um, any other closing thoughts?
- 1:40:20[SPEAKER_00]: All?
- 1:40:21[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, not much.
- 1:40:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Noah is like, I'm looking forward to the end one.
- 1:40:25[SPEAKER_01]: I have to say.
- 1:40:28[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's going to be a ton of fun.
- 1:40:31[SPEAKER_01]: Again, like, like, we had main event booking decision aside.
- 1:40:34[SPEAKER_01]: I am very much enjoying all the pan right now.
- 1:40:37[SPEAKER_01]: Like, again.
- 1:40:38[SPEAKER_01]: I can't really remember last time they had like a junior tournament this good.
- 1:40:41[SPEAKER_01]: So it's kind of real to think about all Japan as like a promotion that is like has like a junior and like real like junior division that isn't actually like equal part of the promotion.
- 1:40:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like it just doesn't really mean a thing.
- 1:40:59[SPEAKER_01]: No, and it carries the co-ops and it's like the day if they had like a bushy and a maga, basically.
- 1:41:05[SPEAKER_01]: Those days slowly visiting from DDT, when that guy was the ace.
- 1:41:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:41:13[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, that's been a long ass time.
- 1:41:15[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, like 14, 15 years.
- 1:41:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think it just rain was like over 2011 and 2012.
- 1:41:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's been like that.
- 1:41:24[SPEAKER_01]: So it's been a while.
- 1:41:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, like some people that were like involved in this tournament were like, it can occur basically.
- 1:41:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:41:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, like, I mean, I want like, Anzai Young Honda, you know, and everything like that.
- 1:41:39[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, for sure.
- 1:41:41[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 1:41:41[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll be back in a couple of weeks because we got a couple of turnips to talk about it instead of a more sleepy August type situation.
- 1:41:50[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see you in a couple of weeks and enjoy all the
