- 0:00Speaker 1: Where new york comes for common sense mark simone on
- 0:02Speaker 1: 710 wor hey let's take some calls 800-321-0710 is the
- 0:03Speaker 1: number 800-321-0710 let's go to jeff in staten island jeff
- 0:05Speaker 1: how you doing yeah good.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Morning how are you um.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I was going to say, you said that Mandagi only signed, like,
- 0:28Speaker 3: one law. I think that's a great thing. The less
- 0:31Speaker 3: he touches or the less these politicians touch, the better
- 0:34Speaker 3: off we are.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's a good point. As Trump said after
- 0:38Speaker 2: meeting Mamdani, the guy's lazy. The guy's a coward. He
- 0:40Speaker 2: won't do much of anything, just a lot of talk.
- 0:43Speaker 2: He won't get anything done. And he's right. He's gotten
- 0:46Speaker 2: 10 months. He's gotten absolutely nothing done yet. Let's go
- 0:49Speaker 2: to Dennis in Gillette, New Jersey. Dennis, how are you doing?
- 0:54Speaker 4: All right, Mark, big fan. Listen, since the SAVE Act
- 0:57Speaker 4: wasn't passed, that pretty much means illegals can still vote
- 1:02Speaker 4: in this election.
- 1:04Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:04Speaker 4: And they're pretty much going to hand the governorship to Hochul.
- 1:07Speaker 2: No, no, it doesn't work that way. It's a factor.
- 1:11Speaker 2: It's a factor. It means you just got to win
- 1:12Speaker 2: by an extra point or two, two or three points
- 1:15Speaker 2: to overcome the cheating. Actually, we got the best expert
- 1:18Speaker 2: on the subject coming up. We'll ask him exactly. what
- 1:22Speaker 2: percentage that cheating is. Let's go to Robert in Westchester. Robert,
- 1:26Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 1:28Speaker 6: Good morning, Mark. Thank you for taking my call. The media, again,
- 1:32Speaker 6: never ceases to amaze me with the hypocrisy. I mean,
- 1:35Speaker 6: they expect grace from Vivek and then Trump about that
- 1:39Speaker 6: story in Ohio. Meanwhile, President Trump, remember his sister?
- 1:45Speaker 2: No, his cousin.
- 1:45Speaker 5: They used her.
- 1:46Speaker 2: His cousin.
- 1:48Speaker 6: I'm sorry. I apologize. So, She was on all the
- 1:52Speaker 6: news programs. They went after him left and right for that.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah, we went through this earlier in the show. It's
- 2:00Speaker 2: a good point. It's an excellent point. The ad that
- 2:03Speaker 2: Vivek Ramaswamy ran against the opponent where her mother denounced her.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I'm watching Donnie Deutsch this morning, who's the goofiest guy
- 2:11Speaker 2: in the world. Not the brightest guy, just goofy. Yelling
- 2:14Speaker 2: and screaming about this is the dirtiest ad ever in
- 2:16Speaker 2: the history of politics. It'll be remembered as the dirtiest
- 2:19Speaker 2: ad ever. Big, long rant. At the end of it,
- 2:24Speaker 2: Morning Joe doesn't say to him, well, how come it
- 2:26Speaker 2: was okay when you guys did it to RFK Jr.?
- 2:29Speaker 2: You had every member of his family do an ad
- 2:31Speaker 2: denouncing him. How come that was okay? Of course, he
- 2:33Speaker 2: didn't mention that. And they never mentioned that when Trump
- 2:38Speaker 2: was running, they dragged out this broken-down cousin of his.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Was her name Mary Trump? And all she did was
- 2:44Speaker 2: go on every television show. They put her on every
- 2:47Speaker 2: show on MSNBC, every show on CNN, everywhere they could
- 2:50Speaker 2: put her. They used her in ads, and she would
- 2:53Speaker 2: tell you that Donald Trump is nuts. He's a liar.
- 2:55Speaker 2: He's a thief. He's a crook. He's a maniac. He's
- 2:58Speaker 2: this cousin who, by the way, never even met Donald Trump,
- 3:03Speaker 2: a cousin that nobody had anything to do with. Trump's
- 3:05Speaker 2: sister was friendly with her, but outside of that, most
- 3:08Speaker 2: of the family stayed the hell away from her. She
- 3:10Speaker 2: never even met Donald Trump, and they dragged this cousin
- 3:14Speaker 2: all over television to denounce him. So it's the double
- 3:17Speaker 2: standard the left is famous for. Let's go to Mike
- 3:20Speaker 2: in Bayside. Mike, how you doing?
- 3:24Speaker 4: I love the show, man.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Yeah, just to piggyback on that, if they found a
- 3:28Speaker 1: guy or a girl in the media family of Vance
- 3:32Speaker 1: or Trump, they wouldn't even need to take out any ads.
- 3:34Speaker 7: It would totally be the biggest story of the.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Year, a media family member talking crap about it.
- 3:40Speaker 7: And about the horses, I love horses. I think they
- 3:44Speaker 7: should have built an enclosed track track like, you know,
- 3:48Speaker 7: like kind of.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Like the Meadowlands has, but like a three-mile type thing. And,
- 3:51Speaker 1: you know, all the problems with error, and all these
- 3:54Speaker 1: people that are, like, claiming the horses are tortured or whatever.
- 3:57Speaker 1: First of all, when it's over, there'll be 200 horses
- 4:00Speaker 1: without homes, and I know from the racehorse industry, there
- 4:03Speaker 1: are a lot of horses that get put down, and
- 4:05Speaker 1: some of those horses will probably be put down.
- 4:08Speaker 2: You know, you're in the racehorse. When they say put down,
- 4:10Speaker 2: what do they do? They kill the horse, and then
- 4:12Speaker 2: what happens with that body of the horse?
- 4:16Speaker 4: I don't even know. Does it.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Actually go to a glue factory like the old myth?
- 4:24Speaker 1: I'm not familiar with it, but I do know that
- 4:25Speaker 1: they love working. During the pandemic, when the horses weren't racing,
- 4:29Speaker 1: I was going to the track to just hang out
- 4:31Speaker 1: with them because they were going crazy.
- 4:33Speaker 7: They love working, and you're really doing a disservice to
- 4:36Speaker 7: at least the horses.
- 4:37Speaker 1: That are alive by just taking them out of the business.
- 4:40Speaker 1: And it's very political.
- 4:41Speaker 4: It's nothing to do with.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Well, you're absolutely right, Mike. Thanks for calling. I don't
- 4:45Speaker 2: know if the horses love it. They don't look too
- 4:47Speaker 2: thrilled dragging a bunch of tourists around in a carriage.
- 4:50Speaker 2: But for those of you that think I've saved the horses,
- 4:54Speaker 2: I've saved the horses. They're all going to end up
- 4:56Speaker 2: in a glue factory or as dog food or something
- 4:59Speaker 2: like that. Let's go to Bob in Connecticut. Bob, how
- 5:02Speaker 2: are you doing?
- 5:05Speaker 4: Good.
- 5:05Speaker 5: How are you?
- 5:05Speaker 4: Good. Good.
- 5:08Speaker 5: So, you know, I've noticed that the Democrats, they're always
- 5:11Speaker 5: trying to figure a way to get more votes so
- 5:13Speaker 5: that they can lock in an election. And I think
- 5:16Speaker 5: the Republicans should turn the tables on them. And I
- 5:20Speaker 5: know it probably would never happen, but I think what
- 5:22Speaker 5: they should do in each state is they should go
- 5:25Speaker 5: by population. You take half the state, and one senator
- 5:29Speaker 5: goes to the populous areas, the cities, and one senator
- 5:33Speaker 5: that's for... the rest of the state, you.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Know, because you can't do that. You can't do that.
- 5:38Speaker 2: It has to be, it has to be a statewide
- 5:39Speaker 2: race for the Senate. You can do that for Congress.
- 5:42Speaker 2: You can have a district, but the Senate has to
- 5:44Speaker 2: be statewide. Everybody in the state has a vote on
- 5:47Speaker 2: their Senator. Now, if Democrats get in, they've already said
- 5:51Speaker 2: they're going to do it. They're going to make a
- 5:53Speaker 2: Puerto Rico estate. They're going to make DC a state
- 5:56Speaker 2: because it's very democratic. And that way they'll have two senators,
- 6:01Speaker 2: each of those places. So that would be four permanent
- 6:04Speaker 2: Democratic seats in the Senate. Four extra seats, permanently Democratic.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Dangerous thing to do. Hey, we've got a lot to
- 6:12Speaker 2: get to coming up. We'll get to the real polls,
- 6:17Speaker 2: not the fake polls, not the fake rigged college polls
- 6:20Speaker 2: or media polls. You look in the metrics, they're absolutely
- 6:24Speaker 2: ludicrous metrics. But we'll get to the real polls coming up,
- 6:27Speaker 2: so stay tuned for that. And when we come back,
- 6:29Speaker 2: We'll talk to the brilliant writer, producer, Alan Zweibel. He's
- 6:33Speaker 2: got a show coming to Broadway you're going to be
- 6:35Speaker 2: very interested in. We'll get to that next on 710WOR.
