- 0:16Speaker 1: for holding you're on the air.
- 0:18Speaker 2: So, first of all, I'm a uge fan of your show,
- 0:21Speaker 2: and I'm kind of confused because I got invited to
- 0:24Speaker 2: my coworkers birthday dinner and the invite very clearly said
- 0:30Speaker 2: no gifts. So I was like, all right, perfect because
- 0:34Speaker 2: I love that for my bank account. But I show
- 0:36Speaker 2: up with literally just a card, and I was mortified
- 0:41Speaker 2: to find out one of my coworkers brought flowers, another
- 0:46Speaker 2: had this giant give batchick, and then the over receiver
- 0:51Speaker 2: of the group unveiled a custom embroidered sweatshirt with my
- 0:55Speaker 2: coworkers dog face on it. And then meanwhile, I'm just
- 0:59Speaker 2: sitting there holding a seven dollars Target card that's.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Still pretty expensive. A dollar card seems like a pretty
- 1:07Speaker 3: pretty high toned car.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Yeah, but at that point you feel like you're such
- 1:10Speaker 4: a jerk, right, what, like everyone else, I thought we
- 1:14Speaker 4: were not doing.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Gifts like that?
- 1:20Speaker 3: Do you announce that do you say there was no
- 1:22Speaker 3: gifts on the invitation.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I would have felt so bad if I was.
- 1:24Speaker 4: If I was you, I would to walk up and
- 1:26Speaker 4: be like, oh my gosh, girl, Like I feel so
- 1:27Speaker 4: bad I thought I said no gifts.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I do feel like, let me buy you a drink.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I do feel like you you should call your
- 1:34Speaker 4: coworkers out, Like was there conversations, Like there had to
- 1:37Speaker 4: be chatter behind the scenes, like she says no gifts,
- 1:39Speaker 4: but obviously we're getting our kiss right, and they just
- 1:41Speaker 4: left you out of that, like I would be mad
- 1:43Speaker 4: at my car. Was like they were plotting on your downfall.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Low key.
- 1:49Speaker 2: They wanted you to be the only one that didn't
- 1:51Speaker 2: show no gift.
- 1:52Speaker 3: We know it said no gifts, but we just cared
- 1:54Speaker 3: were nice people, so we just brought them anyway. And
- 1:55Speaker 3: then that puts you to bat sport so annoying.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Like, oh, I don't care, I'm not a.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Nice you know.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I have to say. I felt like you were about
- 2:04Speaker 1: to say something funny. You said, I'm just sitting there
- 2:06Speaker 1: with a seven dollars card, Like.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, I was gonna say that. I felt like
- 2:12Speaker 2: a divorced dad at Cooky Teas.
- 2:18Speaker 3: A divorced dad makes a.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Card work like so heartfelt. I didn't even really write
- 2:25Speaker 2: anything in it, but I was just like, why are
- 2:28Speaker 2: coworkers like this? Like it made me think about how
- 2:33Speaker 2: you guys, because I listened to you all the time,
- 2:35Speaker 2: and I love your vibe and your energy and you're
- 2:37Speaker 2: always together, But like, what's your most annoying quality as
- 2:41Speaker 2: a coworker? Like I just wanted to know because I
- 2:45Speaker 2: feel like their every office has at least one person
- 2:48Speaker 2: who's doing entirely too much. And I just wanted to
- 2:53Speaker 2: know what you guys find annoying because you're always together,
- 2:56Speaker 2: and I don't know, Like, am I am I the
- 3:01Speaker 2: as they say? Am I the awkward one? I guess
- 3:05Speaker 2: you could say instead of the other a word? But like,
- 3:08Speaker 2: I don't.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Know what's the other a word? There's lots of words,
- 3:11Speaker 1: but there she said, there's the other one.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Okay, A couple of them you can't say on the radio.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Right, So I'm curious to which one she's talking about awkward?
- 3:17Speaker 4: Well? I was the one that, Oh, am I the k.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Are you the jerk? Because you showed up at a
- 3:27Speaker 1: party where they said no gifts and you didn't have
- 3:29Speaker 1: a gift. Are you the jerk? No, you may feel dumb,
- 3:33Speaker 1: but I would say you're not the jerk. But when
- 3:36Speaker 1: you say, what are what are the annoying habits of
- 3:38Speaker 1: our or what are our own annoying habits?
- 3:41Speaker 2: Right?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Is that what you're asking?
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm serious because I love you guys so much
- 3:45Speaker 2: and I want to just feel a little bit more
- 3:47Speaker 2: like Well, I.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Have one that John Jay does to me every single morning,
- 3:51Speaker 3: every single morning.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Wait, so you're about to say an annoying habit of
- 3:57Speaker 1: your own?
- 3:57Speaker 3: No, no, of yours?
- 3:58Speaker 1: Oh you're you're not. I'm calling you.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Go ahead, go ahead.
- 4:03Speaker 1: So I'm ready. I'm ready to take.
- 4:05Speaker 3: It, setting up the board, and I'll be hang on
- 4:08Speaker 3: a second, and John, you'll be a che chuck chuck,
- 4:10Speaker 3: chuck chuck.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Check.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I'm like, hold on a second. I will turn on
- 4:12Speaker 3: the mic. Just told him it's like check check on too.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I can't hear it. I get I don't know that
- 4:17Speaker 3: check check what check?
- 4:18Speaker 1: What are we ready?
- 4:18Speaker 3: Are you ready?
- 4:19Speaker 1: You have it all in here?
- 4:20Speaker 3: You have it all here?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Check what you? I didn't know that followed you.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I think I've said something to paint about it. I
- 4:26Speaker 3: could tell when Joe is in control freak mode because
- 4:29Speaker 3: he because sometimes John Jay comes in and he's like
- 4:33Speaker 3: he's on his game, and he's like he's got a
- 4:35Speaker 3: plan in his head. But I can tell what it's
- 4:37Speaker 3: an over direct. But I can't even get the microphone.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Check what you check what I'm doing that turn it
- 4:43Speaker 3: off so I can hear what I can hear the
- 4:45Speaker 3: born after for you, I didn't know, oh my God,
- 4:54Speaker 3: to bother you.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Although it reminds me now like when my wife gets
- 4:57Speaker 1: in the car when she's driving, and most of the
- 4:59Speaker 1: time she drives now because she complains every time I drive,
- 5:02Speaker 1: so I'm like, fine, you drive everywhere. So now this
- 5:04Speaker 1: really annoys her, but it annoys me too. She doesn't
- 5:07Speaker 1: open the passenger door for the longest time. You know,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I'm not pushing the door, pulling, door pulling, pulling the door. Yeah,
- 5:13Speaker 1: And all my kids, every time we're all together, they're like, Mom,
- 5:15Speaker 1: we're walking through the car, unlock the door now. So
- 5:19Speaker 1: I feel like me unlocking, me pulling the handles, like
- 5:21Speaker 1: me saying check check check one to one, che pull
- 5:23Speaker 1: the handle, click of her.
- 5:24Speaker 4: I also feel like, now that you know it bothers rich,
- 5:27Speaker 4: you're gonna do it.
- 5:30Speaker 1: A different part of my life now, Like I didn't
- 5:33Speaker 1: know that bothered me. But I'm also doing that to
- 5:36Speaker 1: hear the Like if I turned off my microphone and
- 5:38Speaker 1: I'll get look check check check check check check check
- 5:42Speaker 1: check check check check check. That's what I'm doing, waiting
- 5:44Speaker 1: for you to turn it on, and I'm like, hold
- 5:46Speaker 1: on a second, I'm so sorry. So that means I
- 5:49Speaker 1: have to hold on for you then to go, Okay,
- 5:51Speaker 1: check your microphone now, or you don't have to say that.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I'm just going to check check check checkcheck check check up.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I'm helping you. Yeah, Oh my god, wow, I breell.
- 6:00Speaker 4: This is what we do with every day.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I feel if you all have such a great vibe
- 6:06Speaker 2: and great energy, like I wish that my coworkers were
- 6:10Speaker 2: more like that. I mean, maybe I'm the one that's
- 6:12Speaker 2: not as attentive because I'm the one that didn't bring
- 6:15Speaker 2: a gift, But maybe I need to take a page
- 6:18Speaker 2: out of your book and just like laugh it off
- 6:20Speaker 2: and hang out with them more.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Use this. You're looking at this all wrong. This is
- 6:24Speaker 4: the opportunity to get that in. Like maybe you are
- 6:28Speaker 4: out like you should have been a part of that conversation,
- 6:30Speaker 4: so like, now you use this as an opportunity, like,
- 6:33Speaker 4: oh my gosh, you guys, I feel so bad. I
- 6:35Speaker 4: didn't know you guys were bringing gifts. I wish I
- 6:37Speaker 4: would have talked to you guys first, and then they
- 6:39Speaker 4: will then feel bad. Yeah, we should have told you,
- 6:41Speaker 4: should have looped you in on that. We didn't want
- 6:42Speaker 4: to make you feel bad. And then cut to two
- 6:45Speaker 4: years down the road. You guys are all besties. You're
- 6:47Speaker 4: this party again, and you're all bringing gifts.
- 6:48Speaker 3: But don't you think in this room if somebody were
- 6:50Speaker 3: to do that, we'd give each other crap for it,
- 6:52Speaker 3: but we'd laugh about it. Right, Yeah, she's afraid.
- 6:54Speaker 1: To give me.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Kyle and I were on the same page of Okay,
- 6:57Speaker 2: it's Rich's birthday, but we're not gonna We're not We're
- 6:59Speaker 2: not gonna do gifts. He says, no guests, and she
- 7:01Speaker 2: shows up with a fancy guest. I would be so.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Mad you call around on it, but.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Yes, be like what No, I'd be like, what gives
- 7:07Speaker 4: you trade? He that's like a sneaky thing to do,
- 7:11Speaker 4: Like like you're trying to make someone look bad.
- 7:13Speaker 2: That's what I was saying.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it's trolling you. That's hilarious.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Thanks for calling in.
- 7:20Speaker 2: They had like a whole conversation about it. Or should
- 7:22Speaker 2: I just I would be like, yeah you would.
- 7:27Speaker 1: This is my pet peeve, this is my thing. It
- 7:28Speaker 1: irritates me about all you guys, Like, I'm done, ready
- 7:30Speaker 1: to move on. We gotta go to the next day.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Have a nice little therapy session, go around the room.
- 7:35Speaker 4: What annoys everyone about everyone? Real?
- 7:38Speaker 1: Thanks for calling in, Thanks for listening.
- 7:40Speaker 2: I'm a huge fan.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Thank you, Thank you so much.
