A Florida man, William Conner, has been arrested for allegedly locking a 12-year-old boy in a hot laundry room for years, denying him food and water, forcing him to use a bucket as a toilet, and subjecting him to beatings — even laughing at the boy’s suffering. A 14-year-old girl was also reportedly abused. The investigation, triggered by a May referral, uncovered surveillance evidence showing Conner yelling at the boy to stay awake.
