- 0:11Speaker 1: Hello, everybody, Welcome to Pop and Bravo. It's Thursday. I've
- 0:14Speaker 1: got Deanna Chang here. You know Diana Chang. She's the
- 0:17Speaker 1: montage Queen. She has a podcast and a substack called
- 0:21Speaker 1: how to Be Less Old. She's my friend and she's
- 0:24Speaker 1: got gorgeous hair. So let's just let's just keep it
- 0:28Speaker 1: with that.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Hi am it? Well, thank you? Thank my hair, Thanks you,
- 0:32Speaker 2: I thank you. You know you're catching a good hair
- 0:36Speaker 2: day and not gonna lie. I'm not going to sit
- 0:38Speaker 2: here and pretend it's not happening, because it is.
- 0:40Speaker 1: It is. It looks really really good. Yeah, we had
- 0:43Speaker 1: a long discussion about that before. Sometimes when you just
- 0:45Speaker 1: don't do your hair, you have the best hair day.
- 0:47Speaker 1: But then if you try to recreate that by not
- 0:49Speaker 1: doing it and you have to go somewhere, you look
- 0:51Speaker 1: like you got drag through a gutter.
- 0:53Speaker 2: So yeah, so true. It's not without its pitfalls. That light, right,
- 1:00Speaker 2: but it can line up, you know.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Just sometimes. But for me, I'll be like, oh God,
- 1:05Speaker 1: yesterday I didn't do my hair at all and it looks
- 1:07Speaker 1: so good. I'm want to go with that today, And
- 1:09Speaker 1: then I look like my mother would be horrified if
- 1:12Speaker 1: she saw me out in these streets looking the way
- 1:13Speaker 1: I do.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Yeah, my biggest crime is like thinking, I mean I
- 1:19Speaker 2: can get a second day out of a hair blowout,
- 1:22Speaker 2: of course, you know, wouldn't mean of course, but there's
- 1:26Speaker 2: times when it's not a proper blowout, just something I did.
- 1:30Speaker 2: That's a different story in terms of.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, I
- 1:37Speaker 1: can't get two days out of a proper blowout because
- 1:39Speaker 1: they put products and stuff in my hair and then
- 1:41Speaker 1: my hair gets like so like growing like noodlely and
- 1:44Speaker 1: like limp. Yeah, so I can only get to equation.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I feel like if when you come back to La
- 1:51Speaker 2: there's a woman that does like the best blowouts I've
- 1:55Speaker 2: ever experienced.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 1:57Speaker 2: She's a master. She taught all the Glam Squad. Okay,
- 2:04Speaker 2: Tnique is just at the top of her game, you know,
- 2:09Speaker 2: and she charges what you're gonna spend, what you're gonna spend,
- 2:13Speaker 2: but that blowout it will last you, and it is
- 2:17Speaker 2: like it's just it's incredible. So okay, if you need it,
- 2:22Speaker 2: you know.
- 2:23Speaker 1: If I have an event to go to, then I
- 2:25Speaker 1: have an event.
- 2:25Speaker 2: If you're maybe take snap in some shots. I know,
- 2:28Speaker 2: last time you're here, You're taking pictures, you were getting
- 2:30Speaker 2: head shots, you know.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, last time. Last time was in LA. I
- 2:34Speaker 1: flew in and out for a party for Heather McDonald.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I was there for twenty four hours. I know. That
- 2:40Speaker 1: was not button. Yes, it was super fun. It was
- 2:43Speaker 1: her anniversary party for her podcast. It was super fun.
- 2:47Speaker 1: It was totally worth it. But I yeah, I was
- 2:50Speaker 1: kind of thinking, like, I'll try to tack on an
- 2:52Speaker 1: LA trip to Bravocon because I'll already be over therest. Yes,
- 2:58Speaker 1: I just don't know how I can make it work.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I don't know how I'm gonna be able to make
- 3:01Speaker 1: that work.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Just yeah, And I know you guys make a real
- 3:06Speaker 2: time out of Bravo con Like you're all messing around.
- 3:09Speaker 1: We're five nights, baby.
- 3:10Speaker 2: The girls are moving and grooving.
- 3:13Speaker 1: We're doing it. We're doing it ingrid and I we
- 3:16Speaker 1: we leave, we leave no stune unturned. We live it
- 3:19Speaker 1: all on the floor. Yeah, that's true.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I mean you could you could teach a Bravo con course.
- 3:24Speaker 1: No, No, because I don't know. I don't know if
- 3:27Speaker 1: we're doing it that that right, We're just it's it's me,
- 3:30Speaker 1: it's me throwing money at every problem.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Like, okay, so that's like the cab.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yeah, like you just gotta gotta be able to just
- 3:38Speaker 1: save up for two years and throw all your budget
- 3:40Speaker 1: at that one problem.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, we are not here to talk about Bravo
- 3:45Speaker 1: con but we are here to talk about Bravo. Now.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Are you watching any shows that are not on Bravo
- 3:51Speaker 1: at the moment?
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yes, I am. I've finished up a few. Okay, I
- 3:57Speaker 2: will tell you. I whisked Through Sirens.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Okay, didn't watch.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I was that on your radar at all? Really good acting,
- 4:08Speaker 2: you know, I mean really good actors. It caught my
- 4:13Speaker 2: you know, it kept my attention. Julianne Moore is in it.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Meghan from White Lotus Meghan, Yes, always fabulous. One of
- 4:26Speaker 2: the girls from Game of Thrones who was great is
- 4:29Speaker 2: in there. So cast is really good. I mean I was.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I enjoyed it. I don't know if you know what
- 4:37Speaker 2: you get through you're I don't know if that was
- 4:38Speaker 2: good or bad. But I kept watching and enjoyed myself. Like,
- 4:42Speaker 2: but I can't be critical about it, but I didn't
- 4:45Speaker 2: enjoy it. Of course, I got into the Hunting Wives
- 4:48Speaker 2: took that down.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I didn't watch it. I didn't watch it. I know
- 4:51Speaker 1: people said it was great, but I didn't watch it.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Should I watch it?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Not great? So we set your expectations on that. It
- 4:59Speaker 2: is not great. But it is fun and frothy and
- 5:06Speaker 2: soap opera ish, you know. And uh, there's some a
- 5:10Speaker 2: little bit of titty city going on, which I think,
- 5:13Speaker 2: is it heard? Fun? And then so? But is it great? No?
- 5:20Speaker 2: But it'll go down easy. No pun intended, I just
- 5:26Speaker 2: really no pun intended.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Okay, what are your feelings on the Taylor Swift engagement?
- 5:35Speaker 2: I mean, you know, I'm not as Swiftie, but I'm so.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I'm so pleased for her, and I think I feel
- 5:43Speaker 2: like we needed this as a as a country. I
- 5:45Speaker 2: feel like we needed a little boost boost of happiness,
- 5:49Speaker 2: little joy, pocketed joy. I'm going to look forward to.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Where's what I know about the Taylor Swift engagement. They
- 5:57Speaker 1: got engaged, That's all I know. I don't know it.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I saw a photo? Was that a real photo? They field?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Did they? What happened? Do we know what happened with
- 6:07Speaker 1: the engagement?
- 6:09Speaker 2: No? I saw the same photo. I saw the ring,
- 6:12Speaker 2: which I know other people love. It's not my steas, but.
- 6:17Speaker 1: All I saw was like a blurry, large item.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's very like romantic, you know, it's got
- 6:24Speaker 2: that antique.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Yeah, she's out.
- 6:27Speaker 2: No, it's yead for her.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, okay, you know, okay, I don't I'm not
- 6:34Speaker 1: a swifty but I'm not not a swiftye do you
- 6:36Speaker 1: know what I mean? I can appreciate the talent of
- 6:39Speaker 1: Taylor Swift.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I think I need to dig into her music. I
- 6:44Speaker 2: just know what's on the radio, you know, like what
- 6:46Speaker 2: songs are popped, and I should probably like because I
- 6:50Speaker 2: do feel like if I sat with it, I would
- 6:54Speaker 2: enjoy it. I just have yet to sit with it.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Yeah. My friend Kimberly who has a date with day
- 6:59Speaker 1: Line and she co hosts on here. She's a huge
- 7:02Speaker 1: Swiftie and she is like, I was like, we should
- 7:06Speaker 1: talk about like some of the songs because she quotes
- 7:08Speaker 1: the lyrics all the time. And the thing is is
- 7:10Speaker 1: she slips them in and you don't know because you
- 7:11Speaker 1: don't know that song. But it's like like I feel
- 7:14Speaker 1: like you're doing like a wink wink, but I'm not
- 7:16Speaker 1: being involved. She's like, you don't need to be involved
- 7:18Speaker 1: for the Swifties.
- 7:19Speaker 2: So I'm sure, they recognize it.
- 7:22Speaker 1: They recognize the weird thing. She says, Yeah, yeah, so
- 7:26Speaker 1: I think somebody like that who really knows it all
- 7:29Speaker 1: and can say, like, here's a playlist of twenty songs
- 7:32Speaker 1: you've never heard.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Oh, that would be like that. Yeah, I need it
- 7:35Speaker 2: to be spoon fed, like I need the play someone
- 7:38Speaker 2: to make. Go to Spotify, fix me up a playlist
- 7:41Speaker 2: and send me on my way, you know.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. I heard a song the other day and
- 7:45Speaker 1: it was just like along with a TikTok or a
- 7:47Speaker 1: reel or something, and it was a Taylor Swift song.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I never heard it, and I really liked the lyrics.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I was like, oh, okay, well maybe this is what
- 7:54Speaker 1: I'm getting when I'm not paying attention to, not just
- 7:56Speaker 1: the hits. Maybe I should take Kimberly up on her offer.
- 7:59Speaker 1: All right, if she does it for me, I will
- 8:01Speaker 1: give you the list and we can discuss it together. Yeah.
- 8:05Speaker 1: But I feel like the Taylor Swift thing, it's a
- 8:07Speaker 1: little bit like the Angelina and Brad without the Jennifer
- 8:10Speaker 1: anison of it. All right, It's like a It's like
- 8:13Speaker 1: a power couple that we can like be interested in,
- 8:16Speaker 1: but without the breaking up. With the other marriage.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, we haven't had it doesn't feel like
- 8:25Speaker 2: and I you know, I'm just running through names, but
- 8:29Speaker 2: we don't have a lot of megastars anymore, you know, right,
- 8:35Speaker 2: And so yes, this feels like a movie in some ways.
- 8:41Speaker 2: You know, the cheerleader met the captain of the football
- 8:46Speaker 2: team and he adores her and he's nice and big
- 8:50Speaker 2: and you know, hearty.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Yeah, and that.
- 8:56Speaker 2: It feels like that's important. Like I feel like you
- 9:00Speaker 2: she needs a man who can you know, pick her
- 9:03Speaker 2: up and swing her around and it just be obsessed,
- 9:08Speaker 2: you know.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, a guy that's just gonna wear a Gucci
- 9:11Speaker 1: bucket hat and seeing all your songs.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Great, I mean, yeah, well, Chef's kiss. You know, I.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Agree, y'all. What's the hardest thing about hitting your protein goals?
- 9:21Speaker 1: For me, it's breakfast. I'm always trying to figure out
- 9:24Speaker 1: a protein packed breakfast because there's so many days when
- 9:27Speaker 1: I know I'm not going to be able to grab lunch.

- 10:37Speaker 1: Smoothie Cafe. You're on Tropic Time now, Okay, Now, you
- 10:43Speaker 1: and I have not talked since we had the ending
- 10:46Speaker 1: of the Valley and the end the departure announcement of
- 10:51Speaker 1: Jack's How do you feel? How are you feeling about that?
- 10:55Speaker 2: You know, it's so funny the first when that first
- 10:58Speaker 2: episode when Jack was not in the show because he
- 11:04Speaker 2: was at the rehab, that first episode, I felt a chill.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, these people can't go forward without him,
- 11:14Speaker 2: you know, like him or hate him. He is the
- 11:17Speaker 2: driver of this show and he's an energy and a
- 11:22Speaker 2: presence that felt just like empty without him. That was
- 11:27Speaker 2: my this is I'm time a first episode. Then as
- 11:32Speaker 2: things moved along, you know, like when you lose a limb,
- 11:35Speaker 2: you you sort of reacclimate her others others limbs get stronger,
- 11:42Speaker 2: and I got settled in with the gang. Yeah, but
- 11:46Speaker 2: at this point, the reunion blew my mind open to
- 11:54Speaker 2: what it is to deal with this type of narcissist
- 11:58Speaker 2: and abuser. And I just don't know that I've ever
- 12:03Speaker 2: had such a front row seat to that before. So
- 12:07Speaker 2: I mean, and it's just like impossible, you know, I
- 12:11Speaker 2: just thought my God, he's you. You can't get your
- 12:14Speaker 2: footing with this guy. Like I just thought, this poor girl.
- 12:19Speaker 1: It is. It is crazy because we've been seeing it,
- 12:21Speaker 1: you know when the season first started, and we kind
- 12:24Speaker 1: of opened with the whole like he brought the coffee table,
- 12:26Speaker 1: he broke the chairs, and but who wouldn't You would
- 12:29Speaker 1: do the same. You would do the same. If your
- 12:30Speaker 1: girlfriend did that, you would do the same. And that
- 12:33Speaker 1: is like pure narcissistic behavior, right, It's like no accountability.
- 12:37Speaker 1: It's like anybody would break their barsol if they found
- 12:41Speaker 1: out their wife who they were separated from, was texting somebody,
- 12:44Speaker 1: you know what I mean, anybody. So it several times
- 12:48Speaker 1: during the union he let it. I think they had
- 12:51Speaker 1: drugged him a smidge, just a little a scooch, a
- 12:54Speaker 1: scooch of something to make him a little calm, little
- 13:00Speaker 1: dab because it was coming out every so often. You know,
- 13:05Speaker 1: he'd be, oh, well, I know what everything I did
- 13:06Speaker 1: is wrong. But you're like, oh my god, Like she
- 13:09Speaker 1: would say something and he would just like be say
- 13:11Speaker 1: you did my sparkle, and he's just like, oh god, aparkle.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Now look we all feel that way. Don't talk about
- 13:17Speaker 1: the Sparkle doing something years stop. But we all feel
- 13:22Speaker 1: that way. But you're good at the side. You know
- 13:24Speaker 1: you're wrong and every single thing, so you don't need
- 13:26Speaker 1: to make fun of her, saying, Sparkle, you know.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Yeah, are you good? Like I mean, he can't come back.
- 13:33Speaker 1: It's oh, I think it's a full? Is it good? Well,
- 13:39Speaker 1: let me ask you, do you think it's a full?
- 13:40Speaker 1: We're just gonna give him a season off where he's
- 13:42Speaker 1: just gonna pop in and out because he's got to
- 13:44Speaker 1: pick up cruise to go somewhere or something, and he's
- 13:47Speaker 1: gonna pop in and out. Or is it gonna be
- 13:50Speaker 1: like he's totally gone and he's coming back for a
- 13:53Speaker 1: redemption season because he is gonna spend the actual ninety
- 13:57Speaker 1: days in a treatment saying he probably needs a year
- 14:00Speaker 1: interstreatment center. Really a lot of people do, especially you've
- 14:02Speaker 1: been doing cocaine for twenty five years, you might need
- 14:05Speaker 1: more than thirty days.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Wow. I feel like with this particular scenario, and you know,
- 14:17Speaker 2: I'm rattling through all the scenarios we've seen in Bravo,
- 14:20Speaker 2: all the bad behavior and the people that come back,
- 14:23Speaker 2: the people that come back, this one feels like such
- 14:28Speaker 2: a liability to me, I think he's dangerous in a
- 14:38Speaker 2: real way, and I don't think I personally couldn't fully
- 14:42Speaker 2: understand that till the reunion. I just dropped into it
- 14:46Speaker 2: in like a new way, and I'm like, Oh, he's
- 14:50Speaker 2: this is women get killed by their spouses. You know.
- 14:55Speaker 2: I'm not obviously gonna take it that far, but that's
- 14:59Speaker 2: the level of why it that I think they would
- 15:02Speaker 2: be engaging with.
- 15:04Speaker 1: And I think it's interesting because the whole season, they
- 15:06Speaker 1: never said anything about this push into the bushes right
- 15:10Speaker 1: until the reunion, and I think that was all on
- 15:12Speaker 1: purpose so he could keep his job, because they're all like,
- 15:14Speaker 1: he's got to keep his job. He's got to help
- 15:16Speaker 1: support this family, you know what I mean. I think
- 15:17Speaker 1: they all obviously knew that he did that in addition
- 15:20Speaker 1: to the throwing and the furniture, which was bad enough,
- 15:23Speaker 1: but I think they all knew that he did that
- 15:24Speaker 1: in the front yard and there's ring footage of it
- 15:26Speaker 1: and all that, and I think they all just kind
- 15:28Speaker 1: of kept it quiet until she said it at the
- 15:30Speaker 1: reunion and he goes, I didn't do that, and they're
- 15:32Speaker 1: all like, yeah, you did. We all saw it. He's like, damn,
- 15:36Speaker 1: you know, did you like when Andy slammed down Jesse?
- 15:42Speaker 1: It was like, understand, so good.
- 15:45Speaker 2: It was so good, it was so good. He needed it,
- 15:50Speaker 2: we needed it. It's nice to see Andy wear an
- 15:55Speaker 2: executive producer hat at times where he's just like, you're
- 15:59Speaker 2: just it. Oh oh yeah, yeah, I love it the game,
- 16:05Speaker 2: you know, and once you've signed on to this game,
- 16:08Speaker 2: this is what it looks like.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Yeah, listen. She walked onto a set which you have
- 16:14Speaker 1: to imagine. They had that bar closed off and there
- 16:17Speaker 1: was a big easel with the sign on it that said,
- 16:20Speaker 1: you know, taping in progress, enter and you might be
- 16:23Speaker 1: on camera if you're in this area. You know you don't.
- 16:26Speaker 1: They're not going to sign a release. You're walking through
- 16:29Speaker 1: this sign and she did it and then had a
- 16:31Speaker 1: fit when they put a boom mic. They're like, no,
- 16:34Speaker 1: you're in this area. You just walked in. You knew
- 16:36Speaker 1: they were filming. So she sounds like a real piece
- 16:39Speaker 1: of work, that girl.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yes, yes, yes, yes, I mean Jesse
- 16:44Speaker 2: is really nice. He is He's made for this genre.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean everybody you know, Michelle says a lot.
- 16:52Speaker 1: You know, you've seen her say in interviews and the
- 16:55Speaker 1: after show and stuff like Jesse is just as bad
- 16:58Speaker 1: as Jack's but doesn't get as much attention. You know,
- 17:02Speaker 1: but what he's so they're so similar that control he
- 17:05Speaker 1: drives to have overheard and stuff, so you know, and
- 17:08Speaker 1: then she broke up with the guy that with the
- 17:09Speaker 1: bugged out eyes, so God bless Let's see what happens
- 17:11Speaker 1: next season.
- 17:12Speaker 2: You know, she's a little dead inside, and that's she's
- 17:17Speaker 2: always giving, like Courtney Kardashian to me, where it's just
- 17:21Speaker 2: that sort of like I actually am a robot, you know,
- 17:28Speaker 2: I am dead inside a little bit. But she's very pretty.
- 17:32Speaker 2: You know, she's interesting and I find her compelling, you know,
- 17:38Speaker 2: for better or worse. I enjoy watching her. I do too.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I do too. I don't know if there's any update
- 17:45Speaker 1: on the Denise Richards divorce other than the last thing
- 17:48Speaker 1: we had where she went to the house to get
- 17:50Speaker 1: her dog because she had heard that he had put
- 17:52Speaker 1: her other dog down without her permission. That was that's
- 17:57Speaker 1: it's just getting It's just it was already with the
- 18:00Speaker 1: black eye. But then if we're going to put a
- 18:01Speaker 1: dog down, come on now.
- 18:04Speaker 2: It feels like if we peer into this can of worms. Like,
- 18:08Speaker 2: I think we're gonna see things we have never seen before.
- 18:12Speaker 2: You know, it feels like the two of them, I mean, god,
- 18:18Speaker 2: damn it. She seemed to have such nice parents, like
- 18:22Speaker 2: I know, and she has such a I do believe,
- 18:26Speaker 2: like a very warm heart. Yes, yeah, these fellas truly.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Real bad garbage. Now, you can't get more garbage. You
- 18:39Speaker 1: can't get more garbage than Charlie Sheen. Is that that
- 18:42Speaker 1: documentary is not out yet. We're gonna where everyone's gonna
- 18:44Speaker 1: be watching that, right, We got to see what's going.
- 18:46Speaker 2: On there with him.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a documentary coming out about him on Netflix.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Oh with him in it. So popcorn, you know, I
- 18:58Speaker 1: think it's gonna be great. Is too He's like, yeah,
- 19:01Speaker 1: I'm crazy, I'm an addicts. Yeah, look at me. Yeah,
- 19:04Speaker 1: so that's gonna be good. Yeah, that's coming out on Netflix.
- 19:06Speaker 2: I don't know when he got a little taste of
- 19:08Speaker 2: the bug doing Denise's show. I guess that one scene
- 19:12Speaker 2: where he must have been like, you know, I don't
- 19:15Speaker 2: mind this, let's roll cameras.
- 19:17Speaker 1: You know what, I could just be myself and get paid,
- 19:20Speaker 1: all right, no lines? Doing good for her? Now? Okay,
- 19:25Speaker 1: real Housewise in Miami, Now New Girl Stephanie. Thoughts on
- 19:30Speaker 1: New Girl Stephanie.
- 19:31Speaker 2: I'm obsessed with her, and I know it to be polarizing, okay.
- 19:36Speaker 2: I find her to be so freaking watchable okay, and
- 19:43Speaker 2: so housewife, and so I also find her funny, Like
- 19:47Speaker 2: when she did the penis with the rink added the wrinkles,
- 19:50Speaker 2: I laughed. You know, I'm laughing. She's making me laugh.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Hmm. Okay, that's so high up.
- 19:56Speaker 2: On the list of it for you know, yeah, completely
- 20:02Speaker 2: insufferable with the money and the jet of course. Yeah.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:08Speaker 2: I wonder if season two for her, she won't adjust
- 20:14Speaker 2: the dial on that a little bit.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Well, you know, a listener that lived in Miami sent
- 20:20Speaker 1: me like an article about that home that she showed.
- 20:23Speaker 1: It was like, this is my birken wall, this you know,
- 20:25Speaker 1: the one that she showed to Larsa and they're like
- 20:28Speaker 1: that house is like fully in foreclosure. I don't know
- 20:30Speaker 1: why she was like showing it. So I think there's
- 20:33Speaker 1: a lot of look over here, don't look over here
- 20:37Speaker 1: going on with a look at how rich I am,
- 20:40Speaker 1: but don't look how we're actually in foreclosure in these
- 20:42Speaker 1: four businesses kind of a Tom girardi Ish sich. So
- 20:46Speaker 1: that'll be interesting because we you know what our housewives
- 20:50Speaker 1: without be they're lying about how much money they have, you.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Know, yeah, I mean right, so well that that'll be
- 21:01Speaker 2: nice to dig into that. When we stayed off all apart,
- 21:05Speaker 2: I keep thinking, now, was her man her dad's friend
- 21:10Speaker 2: or just her dad's age.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Just her dad's age? Are you sure didn't know?
- 21:15Speaker 2: That's sure? In my head I have it as her
- 21:19Speaker 2: dad's friend.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I just had it. She went to work at this
- 21:23Speaker 1: company and he was the head of the company, and
- 21:25Speaker 1: she was like, so that guy is the richest guy
- 21:27Speaker 1: here and that's my man. Stuck as why fuck as kids,
- 21:31Speaker 1: He's going to be my man. And that's how that
- 21:33Speaker 1: went down.
- 21:33Speaker 2: All of that's hard to stomach. I'm not saying it
- 21:36Speaker 2: isn't like do you know what I mean? Like?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Is it?
- 21:39Speaker 2: Do I want her to be my friend? No? Maybe
- 21:45Speaker 2: for a weekend. You know I could do it for
- 21:47Speaker 2: forty eight hours.
- 21:48Speaker 1: But go on the jet.
- 21:50Speaker 2: You can go on the jet. Yeah, I'll do all
- 21:52Speaker 2: the rules, I'll do all the paces.
- 21:56Speaker 1: You know, I'll be on time.
- 21:57Speaker 2: I'll be on time, I'll beyond time. I will my
- 22:00Speaker 2: shoes off. I won't, you know, snot on the like yeah,
- 22:08Speaker 2: the swede or the cashmere or however the seats are lined.
- 22:11Speaker 1: What did she say people can't have zippers, you know zippers.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I won't wear zippers. I will come in like
- 22:16Speaker 2: a unit tard and I.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Will just just like a flesh colored yeah, like.
- 22:24Speaker 2: May hair in a bun, and I will mind my
- 22:26Speaker 2: p's and q's, you know on the jet.
- 22:30Speaker 1: It's getting such a visual. Oh, it's a lot. That's
- 22:35Speaker 1: that's funny. Yeah. I think she's a great addition. I
- 22:37Speaker 1: think she's a great housewif. Now she bugs because of
- 22:39Speaker 1: all the bragging about that this will be my birke
- 22:41Speaker 1: and you're like.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Okay, like it's not great's.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Yeah, but I do find her beautiful to look out
- 22:48Speaker 1: and like her clothes, like her style.
- 22:51Speaker 2: And buttoned up. I love a prim and proper goal
- 22:56Speaker 2: Like I tend to feel like boobs out in these shows.
- 23:03Speaker 2: It's it's never as attractive as I think people wanted
- 23:07Speaker 2: to be, if that makes sense. And I it's a
- 23:12Speaker 2: relief for me to see someone button up. You know,
- 23:16Speaker 2: I'm like, I feel I can relax.
- 23:19Speaker 1: But you look at somebody on this show. For example,
- 23:21Speaker 1: you look at Kiki, right, so she's a model. Obviously
- 23:23Speaker 1: she's tall, and she's got the but she's got like
- 23:26Speaker 1: a little like a little a little boob, but a bigot.
- 23:29Speaker 1: And that's a different story because you could wear I
- 23:31Speaker 1: was just talking to my friend this weekend about, like, God,
- 23:33Speaker 1: I wish I wish back in my younger days when
- 23:37Speaker 1: I was thin ast uff this this look was where
- 23:39Speaker 1: it's kind of like open through here. I wish it
- 23:42Speaker 1: was available to me because I was like thin and young.
- 23:45Speaker 2: But now, like you could have had those titties swing in,
- 23:48Speaker 2: I get it.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I could have had them taped in a little and
- 23:51Speaker 1: it would have looked great. Great. Yeah, and even inside
- 23:54Speaker 1: boob was the thing. I could have really.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Rocked that I missed it.
- 23:56Speaker 1: But I missed it by like twenty five years.
- 23:59Speaker 2: But if you're on one of these shows, you're right
- 24:02Speaker 2: on time.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yeah, but no, but I haven't had enough work to
- 24:05Speaker 1: make it look right. To make it look right, it
- 24:07Speaker 1: would have to I'd have to go to your blowout, girl,
- 24:09Speaker 1: and then see several surgeons.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Funny, she made you great boob too. I wouldn't put
- 24:16Speaker 2: it faster.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Oh my god, what did you let me tell you
- 24:20Speaker 1: something that very much bothered me on this episode, this
- 24:22Speaker 1: last episode, when Julia said that Martina was babysitting the kids.
- 24:26Speaker 1: It's the same idea when you say my husband's babysitting
- 24:29Speaker 1: the kids.
- 24:30Speaker 2: You're right, there's the baby, it's the parent. I for
- 24:34Speaker 2: some reason, maybe it's because it's so new for them
- 24:41Speaker 2: that I allowed it to wash over me. But you're
- 24:45Speaker 2: absolutely correct.
- 24:47Speaker 1: And I mean, these kids are what are they like
- 24:49Speaker 1: five and three? Like four and two, and Grandma's chasing
- 24:53Speaker 1: after them. I don't that's not safe. They definitely have
- 24:55Speaker 1: a staff, right, yeah.
- 24:58Speaker 2: No, it's not safe.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Like yeah.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Martina also just like is in no mood for this,
- 25:03Speaker 2: you know, like no, she's not. You know, ever, not
- 25:08Speaker 2: to say she won't enjoy the kids, but I'm shocked
- 25:12Speaker 2: that she's let this all go down because she when
- 25:16Speaker 2: she said to Stephanie's husband that they were talking about
- 25:23Speaker 2: tennis because he was like super bigners, which was cute
- 25:26Speaker 2: to see. Actually, I thought, like I liked it. I
- 25:29Speaker 2: like seeing someone fan out over Martina. Yeah, but she
- 25:33Speaker 2: was like, I will not teach them tennis until they're
- 25:38Speaker 2: essentially till they're good, you know, like if once they're
- 25:42Speaker 2: older and good, I'll yeah, you know right, not in
- 25:47Speaker 2: the mood for this, I don't think.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Yeah, she's like I don't need to be playing with
- 25:51Speaker 1: toddlers like I am. Martina.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Come on now, I'll catch you when you're seventeen.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know then if you're good, we'll we'll
- 25:59Speaker 1: be checked. She won't catch you when you're seventeen. I
- 26:02Speaker 1: don't know if she'll still be with us. But I'm sorry,
- 26:06Speaker 1: I'm sorry. It's it's true. It's true. Now Mary's haul
- 26:10Speaker 1: is my favorite housewife of all time. Okay, and I
- 26:14Speaker 1: and I mean almost maybe across all genres.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I actually that that does track.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I love her. I love everything about her. I think
- 26:23Speaker 1: she's so wacky. I love how she just doesn't care
- 26:29Speaker 1: she's going to get drunk in the middle of the
- 26:30Speaker 1: day and you're not going to stop her.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I mean, and I'll say she can hold it.
- 26:38Speaker 1: She never acts drunk.
- 26:40Speaker 2: She's a professional, you know, truly, And there's something about
- 26:48Speaker 2: an alcoholic who can live out loud and just it's
- 26:55Speaker 2: it's such a line that is like impossible to watch
- 27:00Speaker 2: literally and figuratively that like, I just you gotta tip
- 27:04Speaker 2: the hat. You know.
- 27:06Speaker 1: I love her. I love her. I love her weird style.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I love how she talks about Steve all the time,
- 27:12Speaker 1: like Steve. Yeah, I'm like, Steve is just in the background,
- 27:14Speaker 1: Like let me just make you a Martini girl, Mack.
- 27:17Speaker 1: I love their their little house in Miami. I'm like,
- 27:19Speaker 1: it's perfection. It's small, but it's perfect.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Her friendship with Alexia is like they are rider dies.
- 27:27Speaker 2: It's it is nice to in this world where everyone
- 27:30Speaker 2: throws you under the bus like they are true rider dies.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Yeah. She's like, I'm not going to play yeah, yeah.
- 27:39Speaker 2: The Flamingo singer, you know, feeling it all for Alexia,
- 27:44Speaker 2: Like truly that scene had me rolling, like, you know.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Does she get back together with Todd? That was Are
- 27:54Speaker 1: we gonna be forced to see that? Because I know
- 27:56Speaker 1: he's made some statements.
- 27:58Speaker 2: I mean, you know, as of like last week when
- 28:01Speaker 2: he came out with those statements on social media. Yeah,
- 28:06Speaker 2: very much not together.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Okay, good? She deserves better and I'm here for her
- 28:11Speaker 1: fourth husband. Let's do it. Let's find somebody.
- 28:15Speaker 2: She's tough one. You know what this woman is. She's
- 28:18Speaker 2: lived twenty seven lives, Like now.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I know fully she's gorgeous to.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Drug cartel, you know, like never forget drug cartel.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Like gay husband, gay husband, drug cartel.
- 28:31Speaker 2: She'll be fine, you know what I mean, Like you're
- 28:33Speaker 2: not going to take her down, Todd or.
- 28:38Speaker 1: No, Todd, get out of here, Todd. Now. I'm glad
- 28:43Speaker 1: that we didn't have to go through the gurdy Julia
- 28:45Speaker 1: thing this last episode. I was glad to be done
- 28:48Speaker 1: with that. I do love a drunk Adriana in a
- 28:52Speaker 1: ridiculous outfit. I don't like Adriana generally at all, Like
- 28:56Speaker 1: she just I'm just like, I can't if she's still
- 28:58Speaker 1: in the show. She provides nothing. But this week when
- 29:01Speaker 1: she called Kiki ratchet, where did that come from? Ratchet? Like, Wow,
- 29:09Speaker 1: that's really quite an insult. It doesn't apply.
- 29:13Speaker 2: It doesn't definitely doesn't apply to Kiki. Amy Phillips from
- 29:19Speaker 2: Drama Darling and I were talking about that, and I said,
- 29:24Speaker 2: you know, the way we can really get to the
- 29:28Speaker 2: bottom of it because the positioning of like she didn't
- 29:31Speaker 2: know what that meant, right, that was a positioning from
- 29:34Speaker 2: the table.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Okay, but.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Would let's think for a second, would Adriana have used
- 29:41Speaker 2: that word on Stephanie.
- 29:45Speaker 1: No, because she would think no, because she would think
- 29:47Speaker 1: Stephanie is too hoity toity.
- 29:49Speaker 2: White, is yeah what you're looking for? Oh okay, white
- 29:52Speaker 2: as the we that is like or not? You know,
- 29:57Speaker 2: she's not Caucasian. I don't know what Stephanie is, but
- 30:00Speaker 2: she's suspensed. She's from Cuba, Cuban, but I mean, and
- 30:04Speaker 2: her husband's not you know, sorry, so so I guess
- 30:08Speaker 2: Cuban's the word you're looking for. But I mean that
- 30:12Speaker 2: was ratchet was used on Kiki because that's a word
- 30:19Speaker 2: that is a feeling she has about her somewhere in
- 30:22Speaker 2: her and that's the word that came up when Kiki
- 30:25Speaker 2: did literally nothing in that moment. By the way, she.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Was just reminding her. We all sat there and said,
- 30:30Speaker 1: we weren't going to talk about this. She said, God
- 30:32Speaker 1: was looking at the birds, and they showed the video
- 30:34Speaker 1: she sticks her pinky in. But I mean, she just
- 30:36Speaker 1: wasn't paying attention.
- 30:37Speaker 2: She wasn't paying attention. And that's fine. You know, intention
- 30:40Speaker 2: you're you were thinking about the art, you know, you
- 30:42Speaker 2: just were not. Your head was not in this little conversation. Yeah,
- 30:46Speaker 2: that's okay. But she lashed out at Kiki and tossed
- 30:54Speaker 2: a word that's like wow, okay, like the first little
- 30:58Speaker 2: scratch of you're.
- 31:01Speaker 1: That word comes out.
- 31:02Speaker 2: That's the word. Yeah, thing, got it, that's information. Thank
- 31:05Speaker 2: you bye, you know what I mean? Like I might
- 31:08Speaker 2: not recover from it personally, you know, because it's just
- 31:13Speaker 2: it's just very telling.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I did like that, Mary Saul said. Mary Saul said, well,
- 31:19Speaker 1: Kiki then called Adriana old. She was like, and you
- 31:22Speaker 1: know good because you know our Johnny was just calling
- 31:25Speaker 1: me old and we're on those boats like your old
- 31:27Speaker 1: wrink lady's and all this stuff. She's like, now she'll
- 31:29Speaker 1: see how it feels. She's gonna get taste of a
- 31:31Speaker 1: own medicine. But I do like how they all were
- 31:33Speaker 1: all like, we don't act like this. Everyone's going to
- 31:35Speaker 1: think Americans are terrible. We don't act. I was like,
- 31:38Speaker 1: you act like this wherever you go. You're you're being
- 31:40Speaker 1: paid to act like this.
- 31:41Speaker 2: You mean literally. It was weird because it was almost
- 31:45Speaker 2: like they're never housewives, never seemed to be particularly self
- 31:50Speaker 2: conscious in a restaurant. So I thought, if it was
- 31:52Speaker 2: this restaurant that was like very special.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Right, maybe it was like super fancy.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I have a few feling it was because of
- 32:01Speaker 2: their reactions. I'm like, housewives never seem to care about
- 32:05Speaker 2: the patrons around them and apologize. Lisa was apologizing, falling, falling,
- 32:10Speaker 2: falling and apologizing, But she.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Did she notice that? And I've noticed somehow sowives do
- 32:16Speaker 1: this sometimes they show up late. At least. This whole
- 32:18Speaker 1: thing is that everybody's talking about how she's late. Not
- 32:20Speaker 1: only did they are fully eating meals when she arrives,
- 32:24Speaker 1: so she wasn't five minutes late, but they were fully
- 32:26Speaker 1: eating like lobster and steak. So this wasn't an appetizer.
- 32:29Speaker 2: No, wasn't she like two hours late or something that crazy?
- 32:34Speaker 1: Do you think she does that so she doesn't have
- 32:36Speaker 1: to eat? Sometimes I wonder if they do that, Oh,
- 32:39Speaker 1: I'm just going to show up super late, because I've
- 32:41Speaker 1: known people that have had easy in the past and
- 32:44Speaker 1: they purposely show up late so that it'll be like, oh,
- 32:47Speaker 1: it's okay, I already ate so they don't have to eat.
- 32:49Speaker 2: That's interesting, I mean, but then what about the bus?
- 32:54Speaker 1: What do you mean what would be the reason for that? Yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 1: well that's just that's just because she's got to get
- 32:59Speaker 1: her hair just per and Jody speaking of somebody allegedly
- 33:03Speaker 1: was like a cokead Jody Geez.
- 33:05Speaker 2: I mean, he's just he's just a I don't know.
- 33:10Speaker 1: You know, she had Lenny before and that wasn't a prize.
- 33:13Speaker 2: So I this is so and I'm going to reveal
- 33:17Speaker 2: this here. And I know it is unpopular, but I
- 33:23Speaker 2: always thought Lenny was attracted and I know that no
- 33:26Speaker 2: one else on the planet does, but there was something
- 33:29Speaker 2: I thought was cute about him. Am I am? I
- 33:32Speaker 2: still be my friend.
- 33:33Speaker 1: We're still friends. I just felt like he looked like
- 33:35Speaker 1: a hairless.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Bulldog and maybe that maybe I don't mind that, Maybe
- 33:43Speaker 2: that's what you like with me. Yeah, yeah, maybe that's
- 33:45Speaker 2: just fine with me.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Oh my goodness. Okay, who else can we talk about
- 33:52Speaker 1: on this show? I think we covered everybody. Larsa is
- 33:55Speaker 1: so ridiculous crazy. Wow, she's she has to stay on
- 34:01Speaker 1: the show just because of her just so she's crazy. Okay, So,
- 34:05Speaker 1: because you know, you know, only a few years ago,
- 34:07Speaker 1: I started Miami from I've never watched Miami, but when
- 34:10Speaker 1: I when I saw Marisol and Alexia on The Ultimate
- 34:14Speaker 1: Girls Trip, I was like, well, who were these two ladies?
- 34:17Speaker 2: Oh that was your intro.
- 34:19Speaker 1: That was my intro. So I watched the whole thing
- 34:22Speaker 1: from the beginning, so it was quite jarring when I
- 34:24Speaker 1: just went from season one, two, three, and then they
- 34:27Speaker 1: jumped to season four, but there was eight years in between,
- 34:30Speaker 1: and Larsa shut up on my screen. I literally was like,
- 34:32Speaker 1: that is not the same person.
- 34:34Speaker 2: That's cool to have, Like no, yeah, no, break that
- 34:38Speaker 2: back to back?
- 34:39Speaker 1: Yeah is crazy. I was like, who's this? That is
- 34:43Speaker 1: not the same girl? Adriana too, I was like, that
- 34:46Speaker 1: actually doesn't look anything now, Maysol Alexia, they look exactly
- 34:49Speaker 1: the same, but it was shocking. Adriana looked extremely different
- 34:52Speaker 1: to me, and so did Larsa. Obviously she's done her
- 34:56Speaker 1: own purpose. I don't know what Adriana has done. She's
- 34:58Speaker 1: just annoying now the Real Housewives of O see. I
- 35:02Speaker 1: just finished watching the episode before we were crre.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Are you enjoying this season?
- 35:06Speaker 1: I am? I really am. I'm really into it and
- 35:11Speaker 1: I'm not a Tamera fan, but I'm also not a
- 35:14Speaker 1: Tamera hater. I'm just kind of like the same boat.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Yeah, And I always feel like as because I'll see
- 35:23Speaker 2: you know, TikTok's and Twitter and everybody hates her guts,
- 35:27Speaker 2: so deeply hates her guts, hates your darn guts, and
- 35:33Speaker 2: I'm like, I find myself not ever being able to
- 35:36Speaker 2: get to that.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe maybe I'll start like in Lenny too. I mean, yeah,
- 35:43Speaker 1: that's for me.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Wow, be careful, don't align with me.
- 35:48Speaker 1: It's so interesting. So there's this the whole thing. Is
- 35:51Speaker 1: this okay now? Kind of at the end of by
- 35:53Speaker 1: the episode, we get to this that Katie went to
- 35:57Speaker 1: lunch with Kiki Monique, who I've met and is love
- 36:00Speaker 1: and I've watched her on Instagram. I get a lot
- 36:03Speaker 1: of my news just of the world from Kiki. Is
- 36:05Speaker 1: there like something on CNN? I'd rather just hear Keiki
- 36:07Speaker 1: tell me about it? Is there a trial? Give it
- 36:09Speaker 1: to me in a short bite. She's wonderful. You know.
- 36:12Speaker 1: She has a show on Radio Andy with Derenda's.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Yeah, she's doing Reality Checked.
- 36:16Speaker 1: She's she's yeah, she is doing Reality Checked. Amy's old show.
- 36:19Speaker 1: So she's she's killing it. So she's wonderful and she's
- 36:22Speaker 1: very like normal. So this is so crazy that she's
- 36:25Speaker 1: so every time they talk about her key money, ke
- 36:27Speaker 1: I was like, oh girl. So apparently what we find
- 36:31Speaker 1: out at the end of this episode is that Gretchen, Slade, Jen,
- 36:36Speaker 1: and Ryan and Katie and her husband's who's Matt, thank you?
- 36:42Speaker 1: It's Katie and her husband's name, who just seems very
- 36:46Speaker 1: very not into being on this show, but he did
- 36:49Speaker 1: kind of come in at the end here at clutch. Yeah,
- 36:52Speaker 1: and the six of them were sitting there and Gretchen
- 36:55Speaker 1: said that after Naked Waste to night, the day after,
- 37:00Speaker 1: she went to the hospital and got because she thought
- 37:05Speaker 1: she had alcohol poisons. She was so sick and they
- 37:07Speaker 1: found drugs in her system. Was it benadryl, was it zertek,
- 37:11Speaker 1: was it advil? Not specified, but they found drugs in
- 37:15Speaker 1: her system and she told them this at the table
- 37:18Speaker 1: that the day after that Naked Wasted she had to
- 37:21Speaker 1: go to the hospital. Now Gretchen is saying I never
- 37:23Speaker 1: went to the hospital and never said that. But then
- 37:26Speaker 1: we find out at the end of the episode that
- 37:30Speaker 1: Gretchen called Katie and Jin and said, you have to
- 37:33Speaker 1: protect Gretchen. Don't repeat that she ever said that, Like,
- 37:36Speaker 1: never say that. She said that. Wait, who called Gretchen
- 37:39Speaker 1: called Slade called.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Slade called Okay, Slade called and said you have to
- 37:43Speaker 2: protect Gretchen.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Don't say that she said that, because that'll be really
- 37:47Speaker 1: bad to be on TV and be accusing somebody of
- 37:49Speaker 1: roofing you.
- 37:50Speaker 2: I mean, that's a huge, huge one that's legal.
- 37:54Speaker 1: And it's bad, and Bravo doesn't want that on their television.
- 37:58Speaker 1: And it'll be like Jax, like once he said Eddie
- 38:00Speaker 1: physically be somebody. They have to let him go. If
- 38:03Speaker 1: you say you prove you somebody, We're gonna have to
- 38:05Speaker 1: let you go, even if like you're a biggest star,
- 38:07Speaker 1: you know, like when they had to like go with Phedra,
- 38:10Speaker 1: you know, for the lies she said about Candy. So
- 38:15Speaker 1: they have to let you go at some point if
- 38:16Speaker 1: you say something that agree just on television. So it
- 38:20Speaker 1: is so interesting because it's like, do I now believe Katie,
- 38:25Speaker 1: which she does seem to have been lying quite a
- 38:27Speaker 1: bit up to this point. Now, do I believe Katie
- 38:32Speaker 1: that Gretchen said that at dinner, I had to go
- 38:33Speaker 1: to the hospital and they tested my system and I
- 38:35Speaker 1: had drugs in my system? And that Jennifer is covering.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Jennifer and Matt are covering. No, Jennifer and Ryan are
- 38:41Speaker 1: covering the thing up. What do you think?
- 38:44Speaker 2: Well, here's what was really interesting about that that last
- 38:48Speaker 2: episode the one before, correct me if I'm wrong, But
- 38:53Speaker 2: Jen says something along the lines of naked wasted. Oh,
- 38:57Speaker 2: what's that? I've almost forgot about that, right, Like she
- 39:01Speaker 2: almost acts like she doesn't know even what we're talking about.
- 39:05Speaker 2: So many years ago, I don't, I don't remember.
- 39:08Speaker 1: You know, she wasn't on the show, and she didn't
- 39:10Speaker 1: hear about it at the show. Yeah.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Yeah, And in this episode we hear we see that
- 39:17Speaker 2: she was at dinner. They had a discussion blah blah
- 39:21Speaker 2: blah blah blah, and she speaks to having had the
- 39:25Speaker 2: dinner at the table, right like she yeah, admits so
- 39:30Speaker 2: right there, that to me felt like the smoking gun
- 39:35Speaker 2: that I needed. That it was said at the table.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it was at do you think it
- 39:42Speaker 1: was Gretchen saying like, you know, I'm coming back on
- 39:44Speaker 1: the show, and it's crazy, Tamra's always had it out
- 39:46Speaker 1: for me. Matter of fact, you know, all this stuff happened.
- 39:49Speaker 1: You know, I never even said it, but I went
- 39:50Speaker 1: to the hospital the next day blah blah blah. But
- 39:52Speaker 1: don't but and then just like keep up between us.
- 39:55Speaker 1: But then the next day Slade called it was like no, really,
- 39:58Speaker 1: don't repeat it, right, Katie's like, I'm on this show
- 40:02Speaker 1: and I gotta have something. I gotta get something to
- 40:04Speaker 1: keep me on. You know.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Magic flaw is that I've got to have something. You know,
- 40:09Speaker 2: she has entered this entire franchise with the I've got
- 40:15Speaker 2: to have something, and it's backfired on her big time
- 40:19Speaker 2: more than once, several times. Yes, so I do believe her,
- 40:26Speaker 2: but it's almost like the Girl who Cried Wolf.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Yes it is.
- 40:32Speaker 2: I was just thinking that even though we believe her,
- 40:35Speaker 2: it also you still go, oh, should you have said
- 40:38Speaker 2: that to Kiki?
- 40:40Speaker 1: Right? Probably not at the yes, because you know that
- 40:43Speaker 1: I mean Kiki's job. But by the way, we've never
- 40:46Speaker 1: heard it from Kiki, So you know, Kiki, if Katie said,
- 40:49Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you this thing and it's like
- 40:51Speaker 1: a secret, right, well, then Keki really kept that secret.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Yes.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Well, I think she was trying to get in good
- 40:58Speaker 1: with what she says because siders like a cool Bravo source.
- 41:01Speaker 1: She wants to get in good and maybe try to
- 41:03Speaker 1: plant stories. But I don't think he Ki's that type.
- 41:05Speaker 1: But who is now the air quote journalist? The real journalist?
- 41:09Speaker 2: Did Dereinda?
- 41:11Speaker 1: Well, I think it's Dave Quinn.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Don't you see this that world? I don't have it,
- 41:18Speaker 2: you know, like, I know he wrote the book, and
- 41:20Speaker 2: I know Dave, you know, I know I've heard Dave
- 41:22Speaker 2: Quinn's great on podcasts and all that, but I don't
- 41:25Speaker 2: know enough to know.
- 41:28Speaker 1: For People Magazine.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Oh, I was gonna say, okay, People Magazine. All right, Well,
- 41:33Speaker 2: now that that does get filed under journalist, you.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Know, right? Maybe yeah. I don't sure about Dorenda.
- 41:44Speaker 2: I know, or was it maybe just in the Bravo
- 41:49Speaker 2: World adjacent? Could it have been Anderson Cooper Andy's Wow?
- 41:58Speaker 1: That would be pretty interesting, literally interesting if Katie Janella
- 42:04Speaker 1: through kikim mo Nique was able to get to Anderson
- 42:07Speaker 1: Cooper and say, boy, do I have a story for you?
- 42:09Speaker 1: And intereston Cooper would say, I can verify Katie told that.
- 42:13Speaker 2: He was like, let me get on the phone with
- 42:15Speaker 2: Gina real quick, you know, like he's like, wait, which
- 42:19Speaker 2: one is Gina? That's just me every season.
- 42:24Speaker 1: I love Gina, though I do think I think we
- 42:28Speaker 1: need her there, We need her there.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Girl, you know, I understand. But Gina and Emily, they
- 42:35Speaker 2: I have never Yes, I just can't believe they're still
- 42:39Speaker 2: with us. I can't not that she's performing a function
- 42:44Speaker 2: this season. And I don't dislike Gina as a person,
- 42:49Speaker 2: but her and Emily together barely make one housewife. It's
- 42:55Speaker 2: just the facts, you know.
- 42:57Speaker 1: I have to tell you that I don't like the
- 43:01Speaker 1: thing about Emily Son being on TV. I really don't.
- 43:05Speaker 1: I really really don't. I really don't. I really think
- 43:08Speaker 1: it's and yes, it could help people and all that.
- 43:11Speaker 1: I get it, but I just don't like it.
- 43:13Speaker 2: He's only like I feel the same way about Cruise.
- 43:20Speaker 1: No, And I think I think because Cruise is two
- 43:25Speaker 1: years old. Do you know what I mean? This kid's
- 43:27Speaker 1: ten and goes to school and likely I mean if
- 43:29Speaker 1: he's able to call his mom all weekend, he's got
- 43:31Speaker 1: a phone. Guess who else has a phone? All his friends?
- 43:34Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean?
- 43:35Speaker 2: That's a good point.
- 43:36Speaker 1: But I mean, you don't get a bully at school.
- 43:38Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no. I mean Shane, I want to
- 43:41Speaker 2: push the fucking wall with the way he was.
- 43:45Speaker 1: So tough love it's just too bad everybody suck it up.
- 43:49Speaker 2: Suck it up really like no, even just the way
- 43:53Speaker 2: he's like this hoyman with the boys and some of
- 43:55Speaker 2: the girls and makes Shane, you have a situation on
- 43:58Speaker 2: your hands, right, not get off and get real and
- 44:01Speaker 2: like get in there.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I hated how he said to her, or how he
- 44:05Speaker 1: said to him, Oh, do you want to tell your
- 44:07Speaker 1: buddy you're like because you're in your hug and your mom.
- 44:10Speaker 2: I can't with him right now with this is not
- 44:12Speaker 2: him and a child with special needs does not go together.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Like he needs very typical children that have known none
- 44:20Speaker 2: of those. This isn't a good mix, and I don't
- 44:22Speaker 2: like it for him.
- 44:23Speaker 1: I think, yeah, yeah, he needs some therapy to learn
- 44:27Speaker 1: how they but you know they're going to need therapy
- 44:29Speaker 1: together to learn how to deal with the specific type
- 44:33Speaker 1: of issues that he has. But I didn't like him going, like,
- 44:38Speaker 1: be a man, don't be in her hugging your mom.
- 44:41Speaker 2: You know, remember that he is very brought. He was
- 44:46Speaker 2: raised Mormon.
- 44:49Speaker 1: No, he was not raised Mormon. He became Mormon with
- 44:52Speaker 1: his first marriage. Okay, when he got married to his
- 44:56Speaker 1: parents are not Mormon.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Interesting, so we can't remember that. We have to not
- 45:00Speaker 2: remember that he was raised warming because I'm remembering the
- 45:03Speaker 2: wrong thing. But we have to remember he was steeped
- 45:05Speaker 2: in the Mormon culture.
- 45:07Speaker 1: I believe he.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Still is Mormon. Is that weird that he chose a
- 45:12Speaker 2: non Mormon wife? Yes?
- 45:14Speaker 1: And they uh they he proposed to her like on
- 45:17Speaker 1: Microsoft Messenger, like I am like they were yeah, like
- 45:21Speaker 1: they knew each other for work and he was like, hey,
- 45:23Speaker 1: like you seem pretty cool and normal. Do you want
- 45:25Speaker 1: to have kids? Like I wass get married.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Ship I can't. It's really something I do. Who was that? Okay,
- 45:32Speaker 2: I'm taking us down a weird road. But remember that
- 45:35Speaker 2: one house ivan o c that was like wild. She
- 45:38Speaker 2: was married to the guy who's on all the billboards
- 45:42Speaker 2: in La. She came in like a wrecking ball. No
- 45:46Speaker 2: welll Noela Yela. She clocked that, uh see, I forget
- 45:57Speaker 2: her name, Emile Emily. Okay, I will switch Emily and
- 46:01Speaker 2: Gina up.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Because Emily looks like a Gina and Gina looks like
- 46:05Speaker 1: an Emily. So it is hard. You have to think
- 46:07Speaker 1: about it before you say it. Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, okay,
- 46:10Speaker 1: I got you.
- 46:10Speaker 2: He said, Emily and Shane have a I love a
- 46:16Speaker 2: sex life. She was like the chemistry betre, she goes
- 46:19Speaker 2: what I saw between them, like he's giving it to
- 46:22Speaker 2: her good at night and I or during the day,
- 46:25Speaker 2: and I thought, like that has never left me, Like
- 46:27Speaker 2: sometimes housewife say something and they it goes in and
- 46:32Speaker 2: you can't shake it. Yeah, yeah, I do think they
- 46:35Speaker 2: have that.
- 46:36Speaker 1: She talks about it all the time. She's like, I
- 46:38Speaker 1: told Jane, you know, if I can watch TV, he
- 46:40Speaker 1: can do it in the butt.
- 46:42Speaker 2: I can have all my television Like okay, okay, is.
- 46:45Speaker 1: That the concessions we're making? You stick it in my mind?
- 46:48Speaker 1: You can stick it in my butt if I can
- 46:49Speaker 1: have a ninety day fiance like no.
- 46:52Speaker 2: I mean quite a quite an image.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Oh I got it. Then you know I don't enjoy
- 46:59Speaker 1: her stick with always like putting food in her bag
- 47:02Speaker 1: is if I want her to be more than her snacks.
- 47:04Speaker 2: You know, it's you're getting to my point about like
- 47:10Speaker 2: two of these people doesn't even a housewife make Like
- 47:14Speaker 2: think about Alexia, who we were just talking about about.
- 47:18Speaker 2: Think about the friends of on Miami.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Mare's also a friend of She's not even She's on
- 47:24Speaker 1: every episode and doing everything. She's doing it all.
- 47:27Speaker 2: And then we got these two full fledged pachhoulders or
- 47:32Speaker 2: what do they call whatever. They're holding orange oranges it's
- 47:37Speaker 2: in the title, and and they have been for years.
- 47:42Speaker 2: It's a shock.
- 47:44Speaker 1: It's a shock to tell you that. Yesterday I'm here
- 47:48Speaker 1: at the beach and I met some ladies. And I
- 47:51Speaker 1: met a lady and she said, just because I'm trying
- 47:55Speaker 1: to explain to something and they're they're quite a bit
- 47:57Speaker 1: older than me, they're not going to be listening. So
- 47:58Speaker 1: it's fine. But when one ladies that are seventies and
- 48:00Speaker 1: the lady closest to me was in her sixties, and
- 48:03Speaker 1: so my sister had met them at Majong and said,
- 48:05Speaker 1: God bless, we just all had to drink together. And
- 48:07Speaker 1: so I don't have any friends here, so it's fine.
- 48:09Speaker 1: So I'm chatting with them and the one I said,
- 48:12Speaker 1: they're trying to understand what a podcast is, right, Oh,
- 48:15Speaker 1: so that we're starting, just starting.
- 48:17Speaker 2: At ground zero, launching the app. Yeah.
- 48:20Speaker 1: My sister literally looks at the older lady and goes, Okay.
- 48:23Speaker 1: It's like if you watch Laverne and Shirley and then
- 48:26Speaker 1: you listen to somebody talk about what happened on the
- 48:29Speaker 1: episode of Laverne, I was like, are we going Laverne
- 48:31Speaker 1: and Shirley? Are we going throw at back?
- 48:33Speaker 2: She had to throw it back to like get to
- 48:36Speaker 2: a core memory, you know, she had drilled down on
- 48:40Speaker 2: like a sure thing.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Yeah, and then it's sort of like why and who
- 48:44Speaker 1: would listen. I was like, that's a great question. I
- 48:47Speaker 1: don't know. But we were discussing it, and so the
- 48:50Speaker 1: one lady that was closer to my age says, I
- 48:54Speaker 1: was trying to give him an example of what reality
- 48:56Speaker 1: TV is. And I said, you know, I said the Bachelor,
- 49:00Speaker 1: that's an example, and they said, okay, they had heard
- 49:02Speaker 1: of that. And then the one lady goes, what about
- 49:05Speaker 1: like the Kardashians, They've created this whole thing. I said,
- 49:07Speaker 1: that's a good example. They have a reality show. So
- 49:10Speaker 1: if I watched that show and then I tell it
- 49:13Speaker 1: back to you in a funny way, and they're like,
- 49:15Speaker 1: you're a comedian. No, I'm not, so you know, we
- 49:17Speaker 1: had to do that.
- 49:18Speaker 2: It was it was, they really were. It was almost
- 49:20Speaker 2: like an existential exercise, like who are you Mary Payne?
- 49:25Speaker 2: And like why are you? Who are you? And why
- 49:28Speaker 2: are you?
- 49:28Speaker 1: It was a rough conversation and I don't I don't
- 49:32Speaker 1: want to do it again. But the one lady said, oh,
- 49:35Speaker 1: you know, my daughter in law used to work on
- 49:37Speaker 1: the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Is that a show? And
- 49:40Speaker 1: I said, excuse me, yes, that's a show that I cover.
- 49:45Speaker 1: It is club again? She was it was like ten
- 49:49Speaker 1: years ago, like when it first started. I was like,
- 49:50Speaker 1: oh my god, Nani, Nani. But I couldn't ask any
- 49:55Speaker 1: questions because she literally said, is that a show? Real
- 49:57Speaker 1: Housewives of Atlanta? Is that a show? Is it still show?
- 50:00Speaker 2: I said yes and yes, yes, And can you get
- 50:03Speaker 2: your daughter in law on the line?
- 50:04Speaker 1: Yeah? So I filed it away for the next time
- 50:09Speaker 1: I'm having drinks with her, and I'm going to be
- 50:11Speaker 1: focusing more on that conversation other than who who built
- 50:16Speaker 1: the way?
- 50:17Speaker 2: Who are you?
- 50:18Speaker 1: Yeah? I don't want to I don't want to do
- 50:19Speaker 1: that anymore. I want them to just say she's a podcaster.
- 50:21Speaker 1: We don't know what that means, and I'll be fine
- 50:23Speaker 1: with that. Moving on, moving on.
- 50:25Speaker 2: You know, moving on. Oh my god, that is so funny.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Why would people listen to that? But do you have
- 50:31Speaker 2: the skill set for it? But why do you think
- 50:33Speaker 2: you're the one? They really got?
- 50:36Speaker 1: They they didn't even because they couldn't even understand what
- 50:41Speaker 1: it was. And then and then the one lady who
- 50:44Speaker 1: had the daughter in law says okay, but like sometimes
- 50:46Speaker 1: it's on and I mean to watch it and then
- 50:49Speaker 1: I forget And I said, right, you're talking about YouTubers
- 50:52Speaker 1: that go live. I said, that's what that's what you're
- 50:55Speaker 1: That's that's what she's that's what she was thinking about.
- 50:58Speaker 1: I said earlier today, I was watching Emily D. Baker
- 51:01Speaker 1: talking about the Donald Adelson trial. I said, so, I
- 51:04Speaker 1: was watching it live on YouTube. That's different than this.
- 51:09Speaker 1: This is I record it, I have a producer who
- 51:12Speaker 1: then it up and puts it out to the world.
- 51:16Speaker 1: Where does it go? Who listens do? We had to
- 51:19Speaker 1: do that, and I I got to have my sister
- 51:21Speaker 1: there with me and a big giant class of shortenay.
- 51:25Speaker 2: It was importantly it was rough.
- 51:27Speaker 1: It was a rough conversation. But that's okay. From now on,
- 51:29Speaker 1: they can just say this is her, she this is
- 51:31Speaker 1: friend Mary Payne, she's we don't know what it means.
- 51:35Speaker 1: And then that then we'll just move on from there.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Oh my god, wow, what a journey you went on.
- 51:41Speaker 2: But Bernon Shirley got involved. Who would have.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Thunk Benny Marshall? But I just, you know, I clocked
- 51:47Speaker 1: away the what she said about Housewives of Atlanta and
- 51:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna circle back here.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Yeah, that's something that in fact, you might want to
- 51:53Speaker 2: send her off with some homework next time, which is like,
- 51:57Speaker 2: get three things from your daughter in law, was it? Yeah,
- 52:01Speaker 2: get three fun facts from your daughter in law and
- 52:04Speaker 2: bring them back to Champagne and.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Shartenaing, bring them back to happy hour.
- 52:08Speaker 2: Yeah, come back to happy hour.
- 52:11Speaker 1: They said I could be in their crew because they're
- 52:12Speaker 1: one street over. They said I could be in their
- 52:14Speaker 1: crew and be their friend. But haven't heard from them since,
- 52:17Speaker 1: so maybe the podcaster think through them over the edge.
- 52:19Speaker 2: Now, is this your a permanent home or is this
- 52:22Speaker 2: a vacation home?
- 52:23Speaker 1: This is a vacation vacation rental, No rental.
- 52:27Speaker 2: We bought this house. Do you own this house?
- 52:29Speaker 1: Yes, we bought this house. And I'm going to be
- 52:31Speaker 1: here a lot.
- 52:32Speaker 2: And are you looking are you looking for friends there?
- 52:35Speaker 1: Well? I have the one friend and she was my realtor.
- 52:37Speaker 1: But she is my age and she is great, and
- 52:40Speaker 1: so we are buddies. And then you know, she lives
- 52:44Speaker 1: her full time. So whenever I whenever I come to visit,
- 52:46Speaker 1: she's here. And that's nice.
- 52:48Speaker 2: But you need to branch out a little bit. Yeah,
- 52:50Speaker 2: you may have like burned those walls down with your
- 52:54Speaker 2: challenging career.
- 52:56Speaker 1: I also told them not to listen to it because
- 52:58Speaker 1: I curse a lot, and they really didn't like that. Okay,
- 53:03Speaker 1: So the one lady said, oh no, she said, oh no,
- 53:06Speaker 1: no botty mouth. I said, I'm sorry. I said, I'm
- 53:08Speaker 1: fifty six and I don't care. Yeah, yeah, that's who
- 53:12Speaker 1: I am. That's who I am. Going to take it
- 53:13Speaker 1: or leave it.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Oh, this was going to resonate because it resonated with me,
- 53:16Speaker 2: and I think when I was working on this, it
- 53:19Speaker 2: wasn't a pair of leggings, you know, and so it's
- 53:22Speaker 2: something now now listen, we don't have to kill the
- 53:26Speaker 2: leggings off for ourselves, but it does give you pause
- 53:29Speaker 2: as you pull them on. They want everything in a
- 53:32Speaker 2: wide leg. They want a sweatpant and a wide leg. Yeah,
- 53:37Speaker 2: they want their like hangout pants, you know, they're cozy,
- 53:43Speaker 2: their their jeans and a wide leg everything there. They
- 53:46Speaker 2: don't want anything suctioning to their to their body.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, how do you feel about a barrel pant?
- 53:53Speaker 1: I keep seeing that on my feed, a barrel pant,
- 53:56Speaker 1: and I'm like, I hate that that makes you look
- 53:59Speaker 1: bow leg and I don't like it.
- 54:01Speaker 2: I have a barrel pant and I do love it.
- 54:05Speaker 2: My husband does not, Okay, Okay, and for good reason,
- 54:09Speaker 2: Like I kind of understand it, like he wants some
- 54:12Speaker 2: he wants some more fitted gene on me, right, Yeah,
- 54:16Speaker 2: but I do. Here's like, Okay, I think they look cool.
- 54:22Speaker 2: If I'm wearing something that's that goes below, like that's
- 54:27Speaker 2: going to hit like my upper thigh in terms of
- 54:29Speaker 2: a shirt if I think where I fall because I
- 54:32Speaker 2: got a little belly. So if I'm bringing on like
- 54:35Speaker 2: a crop top, that's where I'm running into trouble with
- 54:38Speaker 2: the barrel pants. It's just it's not hitting correctly.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I understand because sometimes with a wide leg paint,
- 54:45Speaker 1: you feel like you need a more fitted top so
- 54:47Speaker 1: it's not double wide.
- 54:48Speaker 2: Yeah sure yeah, and even with a wide like a
- 54:53Speaker 2: wide leg Jeane, it's a similar situation for me. I
- 54:57Speaker 2: can only see it for myself. But like, if I'm
- 55:00Speaker 2: we are, I can be more fitted. But if it's
- 55:02Speaker 2: not going past kind of like you know, it's not
- 55:07Speaker 2: laying as flat as I need it to and in
- 55:10Speaker 2: a regular straightly Jane, it's just more forgiving in that way?
- 55:15Speaker 1: Do you know?
- 55:15Speaker 2: Do you know what I'm saying?
- 55:16Speaker 1: I know what you're saying in the belly area. Yes, Oh,
- 55:19Speaker 1: I know what you're saying about the belly area, and
- 55:21Speaker 1: I am speaking of belly area. That's why I enjoy
- 55:25Speaker 1: a legging, because I like to put on a big
- 55:27Speaker 1: sweatshirt with a legging.
- 55:28Speaker 2: And just call it a day and live and live
- 55:30Speaker 2: your about to live.
- 55:31Speaker 1: Yeah live, not giving up my leggings, I'm not.
- 55:34Speaker 2: No, I mean, it's just gonna like you're just gonna
- 55:37Speaker 2: know that it's a tell, you know, as to your
- 55:41Speaker 2: level of cool. And that's fine. I just have to
- 55:43Speaker 2: It's better to have the knowledge, yeah, and proceed like
- 55:47Speaker 2: you can wear them in your community. You're going to
- 55:49Speaker 2: be the talk of the hot little number, you know.
- 55:52Speaker 2: You know. But if you march it down to maybe
- 55:57Speaker 2: like a school function of one of your kids, we
- 55:59Speaker 2: might need to change up that. We add some w.
- 56:02Speaker 1: To the try to try to get into a wide
- 56:04Speaker 1: leg gene. Okay, I got yeah, got yeah, yeah, Okay.
- 56:07Speaker 2: So they're still loving the sneakers and sweats combination. Obviously,
- 56:14Speaker 2: the brands that are like they did some sort of
- 56:19Speaker 2: overall sweeps across America. The brands that the youths are
- 56:22Speaker 2: buying for back to school, Hollister, oh Abercrombie, American Eagle,
- 56:28Speaker 2: Jackson Garage, which I had never heard of before, and
- 56:34Speaker 2: then like some secondhand stuff at Deep Deep Hop Deep Hop.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Yeah I know about Deep Hop. My kids like, I
- 56:41Speaker 1: found these shoes on Deep Hop. Like those shoes are
- 56:43Speaker 1: five hundred dollars, So can we do doupe dot com
- 56:46Speaker 1: and find something that looks just like them because no.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Price?
- 56:52Speaker 1: Oh Deep Hop Yeah, oh yeah, my kids always be back.
- 56:54Speaker 1: I found this thing on Deepop. I'm like, that is stupid.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Spend your own money. But it's funny you're saying, like Hollister,
- 57:01Speaker 1: American Eagle and.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Probably like a throwback a little bit.
- 57:05Speaker 1: That's a throwback.
- 57:06Speaker 2: Yeah okay, I know, but that does seem to be
- 57:10Speaker 2: what's happening. Pop tops are also still a given, you know, okay,
- 57:19Speaker 2: Like for me, I know, lace off the shoulder, like
- 57:24Speaker 2: even the longer crop, like a crop that even goes
- 57:28Speaker 2: down to the waist. It's like it's like a tube
- 57:30Speaker 2: top but long. You know, that's the situation. Skims are
- 57:38Speaker 2: hot with the sweats ugs are still happening, really do
- 57:43Speaker 2: you agree with that? Is that you.
- 57:46Speaker 1: I'm surprised that ugs are still happening because ugs are
- 57:48Speaker 1: happening when my daughter was in high school and she's
- 57:51Speaker 1: twenty too, so I'm surprised.
- 57:53Speaker 2: That with us. With us, I think, you know, they
- 57:58Speaker 2: speak to the there's like that ugly cozy thing that
- 58:03Speaker 2: girls just love. Yeah, and it just stands a test
- 58:08Speaker 2: of time. It's you know, it's like, yes, I hear you. You
- 58:12Speaker 2: can slip them on and go and be done with it.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, and the girls I'd love to
- 58:17Speaker 1: put on like a pajama pant slash sweatpants and and
- 58:21Speaker 1: head to class. I don't even know what would have
- 58:24Speaker 1: happened to me if I would have left my house
- 58:26Speaker 1: in pajama pants.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Huh see, I kind of yeah, there was. Maybe that
- 58:32Speaker 2: was more in college. It was probably more in college. No,
- 58:34Speaker 2: it was more in college where I was, Yeah, getting
- 58:36Speaker 2: away with some of that. Okay, do Park k p
- 58:43Speaker 2: A r K E.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Sweatshirts are huge, don't know, don't you? Park? Don't know?
- 58:49Speaker 2: Park huge, very expensive. They're over one hundred dollars, but
- 58:54Speaker 2: they are really simple, just has the name. Girls go
- 58:59Speaker 2: crazy for them.
- 59:00Speaker 1: So see my son's girlfriend, you know, so I guess
- 59:04Speaker 1: she's he just turned twenty. She might be, she's probably nineteen,
- 59:08Speaker 1: but I'm going to have to start studying her a
- 59:10Speaker 1: little closer. Yeah, she's into these things something, you know.
- 59:17Speaker 2: So yeah, I mean, you know, we're dealing with these
- 59:20Speaker 2: types of things. So if you need any sort of
- 59:25Speaker 2: freshening up, or you want to know what's happening with friends,
- 59:28Speaker 2: please make your way to how to Be less Old
- 59:30Speaker 2: dot substack dot com. Yeah, we have our substack. We
- 59:33Speaker 2: have our podcast that accompanies the sub stack, and you know,
- 59:37Speaker 2: we really get down to it.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and they, in addition to all this like telling
- 59:41Speaker 1: you what's up with the youth, she gives a slang
- 59:43Speaker 1: and things, and we explained they it's explained a lot
- 59:46Speaker 1: of the slang and what these words mean. And that's
- 59:48Speaker 1: always very helpful to me. And then I ask my
- 59:50Speaker 1: children and they tell me, don't ever say that again,
- 59:53Speaker 1: and then that's happening.
- 59:55Speaker 2: It's sunny.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Several times. I've several times I said I heard on
- 59:58Speaker 1: my friends podcasts about this word, and they're like, stop talking.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: Sorry, it's good to know it. So you're not caught
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: off guard in terms of executing. Well, that's a whole
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: nother story. You know, we want you armed with the
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: knowledge and then you know you have to proceed with
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: caution after that, you really do you really really do?
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: I would be curious. I'm going to give you some homework.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Okay, all right?
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: So side quest is something we've been hearing. Have you
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: heard your kids use that phrase? Side?
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: No?
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: Okay, something I've been hearing a lot with my kids, friends,
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: with my friend's kids, and with my friend's kids, and
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: I've been trying to get down to I thought I
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: knew what it was, but then Emily and I were
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: digging into it further and we were like, oh, we
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: may not have it. We actually need to talk to
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: the youths. To me, how I was taking it is
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: I tell a story about something like, let's say I
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: always said, oh, you know, I just did Mary Payne's
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: podcast and we were talking about the Real Housewive Jeremy
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: a great time. And then based on something she said
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: about her summer home, I decided to reach out to
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: my realtor and see if I could get a summer
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: home over where she was. And so they might say, oh,
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: that was a oh you went on a side quest,
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: like you were doing one thing and then it took
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: you off yes to another thing. But I still feel
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: like there's a nuance to it that I don't have
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: that the youths are using. So I am going to
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: be asking you to identify a side quest properly because
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: I don't. It's out there. I'm hearing it, but I
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: don't think I have the full nuance to it quite yet.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Okay. I will text my son later and ask him
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: if he knows what this means. And if he says, like,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: that's stupid, I don't want to talk to you, I'll say,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: just send me a voice memo about it.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and just I mean example of a side quest,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: an example. That's what we need, is the example of
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: a side quest. His opinion of what an example of
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: a side quest would be.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, that's the homework. Everybody followed Deanna. She also
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: has the montage Queen Well, she will make a montage

- 1:02:26Speaker 1: out a montage Queene.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: The montage queen dot com if you don't mind.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Yes, and also over there on the Instagram, she's got
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: the Montage Queen and they've also have How to Be
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: less Old, which is ht b l O on Instagram.

- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I think she's smart, I think she's creative, and all
