I definitely want to learn how to say that in Norwegian. Lucas: Perfect. The verb is 'å betale'. Say it with me: å betale. Luna: å betale. That's pretty straightforward. Lucas: Yes. And the present tense is 'jeg betaler' — I pay. Try it. Luna: jeg betaler. I pay. Lucas: Good. Now ask someone: 'betaler du?' — do you pay? Go ahead. Luna: betaler du? Do you pay? Lucas: Exactly. So if you're at a restaurant, you might say: 'Jeg betaler.' I'll pay. Luna: Jeg betaler. That's nice to offer. Lucas: It is.
