- 0:00Well, heads up if you plan to do any air travel. There's a
- 0:02new air travel trend. Oh yeah, as taken the internet by storms,
- 0:06celebrities even getting in on it. Are you familiar with raw dogging? No,
- 0:14just kinda raw dogging is essentially it went viral not that long ago when
- 0:21one user on TikTok posted that he was quote raw dogging of flight, meaning
- 0:27that through his very lengthy flight over ten hours, he did not listen to
- 0:32music, He did not listen to podcasts, he did not watch a movie.
- 0:36He simply stared at the flight map. That's it raw dogging. Wow.
- 0:42Some flights don't even have the flight map on him, so in that
- 0:45case you're talking back of the seat in front of him. Yeah. People
- 0:48are using this as some sort of strength or test of their will and determination.
- 0:54People are bragging. Jared Letto just jumped in. He had a seventeen
- 0:58hour flight. He claims to ever raw dogged. See, And for me,
- 1:03I'm not taking that lung of a flight. Being able to do that,
- 1:06I very easily raw dog it from here to Denver. I have no
- 1:10issue your choice. Yeah, why, Typically I'm with the kids, so
- 1:15that's interaction enough. But I'm not listening to anything or watching anything. I
- 1:19can't even raw dog waiting at the terminal. Really no, I mean,
- 1:25and I'm always the one that's last minute downloading like podcast episodes or music or
- 1:30trying to get something on Netflix or something, and like hoping the Wi Fi
- 1:33signal in the airplane before we take off is enough to download it. I
- 1:37spend if I'm getting on a flight, by the time I get everybody organized
- 1:41with their snacks, stickers, whatever it is, then but I like them
- 1:45to fall asleep. We try, you know, typically they do. And
- 1:49then I'm looking at the menu. I'm like, oh, should I get
- 1:51a snag? I always get a cocktail. That is an industry, you
- 1:55know, to look through the menu like, and then you get to have
- 1:57looked at it like seven times exactly that's enough. Yeah, And then by
- 2:01the time you get your drink, you finish it. It's like, ah,
- 2:05do I have time for another one? Maybe? Maybe not. Usually
- 2:08have to get up to go to the bathroom, and again it's an hour
- 2:10and a half light and then all of a sudden, we're we're a set
- 2:14descending. That's nothing, you know, hour and a half flight, I
- 2:16mean exactly, Child's plays like car ride. People commute that to work every
- 2:21day. That's not wrong, but seventeen hours. I mean, I'm I'm
- 2:24so bad that. Let's say I download a podcast. I have a hard
- 2:28time just listening to the podcast. I need to be like visually reading something
- 2:31or looking at something at the same time. Yeah. I also enjoy kind
- 2:35of people watching. It's very uncomfortable, like I'll be watching somebody's sleep just
- 2:38out. I don't know, it was a nice, normal thing, you
- 2:42said. Yeah, I mean it's just interesting. Yeah you ever try like
- 2:45tickle in the person in front of you. No, but there's grins and
- 2:47giggles. There's nothing worse than you know, somebody's head bobin towards you.
- 2:53Oh nice to you. Yeah, you just like, oh please don't.
- 2:57I just put my arm around him and snuggle him in. Come on over,
- 3:00soldier. We're all in this together. And every once in a while,
- 3:01if I am like with one of the kids and I meant somebody else's
- 3:05in the aisle or in the seat, whatever section we are, I like
- 3:09a good chat. I'm like kind of the fatty cat. See. I
- 3:13don't know if that counts as raw dogging, though, I think the idea
- 3:15is that you just don't indulge in anything, anything that would help pass the
- 3:20time. Conversations included all right, I also love a good window seat where
- 3:24I can see if I can get a good sunset, one of those legendary
- 3:28sunsets in the clouds, well, best view, that's for sure. Like
- 3:30it Amanda in the Morning, Big ninety eight point seven, No, Amanda
- 3:35stills the seat. Let's see bad news. Yesterday's Sherry Duvall passed away.
- 3:39She was seventy five years old. Of course, an iconic actress, especially
- 3:44in the seventies and eighties with hit movies like The Shining Popeye. Her family
- 3:47said the cause of death was you to complications of diabetes. What was your
- 3:51favorite Shelley Duvall? The thing probably The Shining. Yeah, i'man iconic for
- 3:59sure. I liked her in Popeye. You ever see it. I'm trying
- 4:11to remember her in Popeye because Pope, I'm thinking card Tooo. Sorry this
- 4:16you're the one that before we went on the air said that she was in
- 4:19Popeye. I know, and then I was like thinking, like, when,
- 4:23where what was she in pop Was there a live action Popeye had to
- 4:27have been full disclosure haven't seen Popeye all righty. The ongoing manslaughter trial for
- 4:32Alec Baldwin in New Mexico is still happening, and it was revealed that another
- 4:35actor Jensen Acles never heard of this guy terrible name, also had live ammunition
- 4:42in his gun on this set. It was in his holster, suggesting basically
- 4:46that Alec Baldwin might not have been aware either that that was happening. The
- 4:49thing that we all keep asking is why would there ever be live ammunition?
- 4:55That's like the number one thing. Second thing is is Alec Baldwin was like
- 4:58a director, kind of part of the product. Of course he knew that
- 5:00there was going to be some sort of live ammunition. Also, there was
- 5:03an armorer on set who, by the way, was found guilty of manslaughter
- 5:08since to eighteen months in prison. He, by the way, is supposed
- 5:12to be testifying soon. So it's going to be interesting to see how this
- 5:14all plays out. They did yesterday, I guess display some dummy AMMO next
- 5:17to not dummy EMMO. Looks the exact same, So why wouldn't you just
- 5:21use the knot no kidding, Let's just go with the dummy all around.
- 5:27Please look at this nineteen to eighty Popeye Live action film starring Robin Williams as
- 5:30Popeye. Oh, Shelley Devall, of course is olive oil. Even at
- 5:35Ray Walston as poop Deck Pappy. You still haven't seen good old Popeye.
- 5:44No, I do not remember that. Travis Kelcey dish that. Of course,
- 5:48he apparently paid for the suite, and I've got questions about that.
- 5:53Here in a second for the Super Bowl for his girl Taylor Spift. Of
- 5:57course, his family was in there as well, but now on Netflix and
- 6:00I have not watched it yet. Receiver is on. Yeah, so I
- 6:03guess he is on the sideline socking to George Kittle during this because he's a
- 6:08part of the receiver. And he basically said, yeah, I could set
- 6:12you back about three million dollars, And that's when everybody went, did he
- 6:15drop three million dollars for taying them to be there? I still have so
- 6:18many questions as to whether they go Dutch for everything, or oh, she's
- 6:25just paying for it all. She's got it right, I think, Or
- 6:27is he like I'll do honey, I'll get I'll put in a mill,
- 6:30you pay the two mill because you gotta think I mean Blake, Lively,
- 6:32Landa del Ray, I Spice. I mean, there were so many celebrities
- 6:35in that suite, So do they all just be like, hey, yea,
- 6:39I'll drop fifty K, I'll do that much. How much works?
- 6:43I know? I mean even for reference, the budget for the nineteen eighty
- 6:46pop Eye movie was twenty million. Wow. Really so even more so than
- 6:51the and that was forty years ago. If you were to cast Travis Kelcey
- 6:57and Taylor Swift in the Popeye movie, who would they be? Olim Popeye
- 7:00Da that's rest fair? Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I
- 7:04think for his ego, it's like, yeah, you want to pay.
- 7:08But at some point, though, you gotta be like, all right,
- 7:10you know, Daddy's like I'm going to retire in a year or two.
- 7:13She's gonna be doing this for who knows how forever. I mean absolutely,
- 7:17there's just gotta be a little a little bit more taken because and I feel
- 7:23bad. What do you feel bad about it? Just because you know he
- 7:27probably wants so bad to just be like I got this girl, I got
- 7:30this. Well, then just date a normal normal lady, go to Aldi
- 7:36or go where do you word to ladies? Like to go. Where do
- 7:40they like to go? Name a store? I don't know. You got
- 7:44me? You got me stuck in Aldie and I'm an Aldie girl. So
- 7:47there, you take a minute in the morning. Seven ready, I'm ready.
- 7:53Roddy means one thing. Some hypothetical situations we get back and forth.
- 7:58Just absolute meat grinders. Tell what do you do? Well? They are
- 8:03aren't they? Meat grinders? Is similar to being in a meat grinder.
- 8:09Well, this is going to be a real roller coaster of emotions for you.
- 8:13Okay, you're out for a nice little jog when all of a sudden
- 8:18boof a man appears and says, pike, you have two options here.
- 8:24They are one you can go to space for one month, or two you
- 8:31have to go to the bottom of the ocean for one month. You will
- 8:35survive no matter what, But you have to pick one a soap pike.
- 8:43Okay, pretty simple, But hey, I like it, and I got
- 8:48a quick answer. What do you do? It's space? Really, I
- 8:52just imagine bottom of the ocean. What what can you really see? For
- 8:56me? That would feel more I'd feel more suffocated. I feel like,
- 9:00yeah, because you're gonna again I have to go back to you'd probably be
- 9:03in like a titan submissile, like one of those kind of situations. Yeah,
- 9:07but I'm gonna survive, it's not going to implode on me, right,
- 9:09But you'd be in just such a close quarters where I feel like floating
- 9:13around. I don't know, Oh I'm floating, well, wouldn't you.
- 9:18I'm picturing myself in a spaceship. Yeah, but you're still floating them in
- 9:22the rocket. Yeah, it'd be and I by myself. Because this sounds
- 9:26like more of a punishment. It's not an ideal space. I mean,
- 9:31unless you happen to be floating by a planet, but with the vastness of
- 9:33space, it's just unlikely you Really, I could see space in about two
- 9:39minutes and be like, yeah, that's good. Like most things, like
- 9:41most tourist attractions and sites, it's just like you see it, you're like,
- 9:46Okay, there you go, cool, got it. Okay, We're
- 9:48going to Italy next month, you know, and we're going to see like
- 9:50the coliseum and these things like that. It's I just imagine myself going,
- 9:56yeah, there it is, okay, let's go get one. I think
- 9:58it's because you've seen pictures of everything, But do you go back to your
- 10:01very first time going to Vegas. Yeah, I about died, like I
- 10:05could not believe. I about died too, but for different reasons. It
- 10:09was my twenty first birthday, and I remember just like landing and just thinking,
- 10:13I mean it was like my Disney World. I couldn't believe it.
- 10:16Oh it's the best. And I mean that does get Vegas. You know,
- 10:20once you've been in the casinos, it's like it's just all a big
- 10:22casino, you know, right, once you've seen it. But once you
- 10:26I feel like the coliseum or something like that is just like that awe struck
- 10:28for at least a little while. Anyway, Okay, so you go to
- 10:31space. I'll go to space. All right, I'll go to space.
- 10:33Okay, Amanda. Your husband Nick leaves you a note one day as you're
- 10:39leaving for work. It says on the envelope, Amanda, it's written in
- 10:41blood. Ike, like, oh what is this? What could this be?
- 10:46He says, I want to make an offer for you for Friday night.
- 10:50I'm gonna I've got a babysitter for the kids. You and I are
- 10:54staying home, and we're going to role play one film your choice. So,
- 11:03Amanda, and it's written in blood. The letter is that just your
- 11:07name on the front, its pen on the inside. What do you do
- 11:13any movie? So right away my mind went to Ghost. The pottery scene
- 11:20in Ghost is like, oh that so you know I haven't seen dies?
- 11:24Okay it comes back, so there's not It doesn't have a happy end,
- 11:28Dame. You wouldn't have to die though, or he wouldn't have you know
- 11:31what I mean? So far into the role got it? I could just
- 11:35do like a clip of the scene. Well, you can really do whatever
- 11:39you want. It's just you're going to be in character. You can make
- 11:43it what you want. I could be Demi Moore and he could be Patrick
- 11:46Sways, again, you're not going into their bodies. It's just role playing
- 11:50you clearly you're going into a body. Well, I mean that's the idea
- 11:56of this whole thing. That's I'm going. That's what's happening where I'm gone.
- 12:00That was where my head took me. That's where I'm Okay, you're
- 12:01gonna do Ghost. My husband's probably listening you right now and going, what
- 12:07you're gonna get home, Dane. There's gonna be a whole pottery things set
- 12:09out the whole spindle in the honey wish you get all this clay? Is
- 12:18that? It? Is that? A killing in the kitchen? Oh gosh,
- 12:20all right, Pike. Unfortunately this time you passed. What but yeah're
- 12:26coming back? What what do you mean this time? Oh? Like last
- 12:31time, you didn't die. Oh this time you dead. But you get
- 12:37to come back. You get up to the pearly gates and they say you
- 12:41can go back, just not as a human. You get to pick whatever
- 12:46you want to come back. So Pike, hm, anything you want to
- 12:52be just not human? What do you do? Doesn't have to be an
- 13:03animal? Look at you. I've got all kinds of wild ideas. Oh
- 13:11I'd like to be the one hundred and fifty yard marker on the eighteenth hole
- 13:20of Augusta National Oh wow, just be a wooden post. Nobody can ever
- 13:24hurt me. I don't have to worry about getting food or anything because I
- 13:26just would might have the best seed in the house to watch your favorite area.
- 13:33What would you do with the rest of the time, Just be a
- 13:35wooden post, wood stuff? You know? Yeah, I guess collect for
- 13:41one time a year. That's would give you enough jollies to get to the
- 13:45next, the course operates all year. Yeah, that's Truely, be watching
- 13:48like members play, which wouldn't be admittedly as exciting, but it'd be something
- 13:54interesting. Alright. But then I wouldn't have to worry about dying. I
- 13:56mean, I guess eventually they'll probably cut you down or burn you or whatever.
- 14:00Something. You gotta make it a little rusted out, all right,
- 14:03Amanda, you're up. A man appears. It's it's Popeye. Okay.
- 14:11Popeye appears and he says, Amanda, does he do that? Are?
- 14:15Oh? Yeah, he's he's chugging spinach. He goes. Here's the deal.
- 14:20We're gonna give you a ten question quiz that is based off one single
- 14:26topic. Now, if you don't get one on this quiz, I'm taking
- 14:33your kids. Jeez, I'm taking your kids. You have to ace this
- 14:37quiz. The topic. It's your choice. So Amanda, oh my gosh,
- 14:46ten questions. Ten questions. Don't know what they're gonna be, but
- 14:50you gotta ace it. What do you do? Oh? My first thought
- 14:54went to wine. But I don't know if I'm are you I'm not even
- 14:58sure if I'm a kind of swere of that? Ah? Ten questions?
- 15:03You got to be very confident about whatever this is. I know what what
- 15:07what else comes to mind? What is your expertise? Would you say,
- 15:13oh gosh, Bikene, Yeah, they're going to be gone the ABC's I
- 15:20mean, but then it's like, do they get into the origin of the
- 15:24letters? No, that's true, that's true, not just what comes next?
- 15:28Name the first ten letters? Even then, how don't know if I
- 15:31could do the ABC's backwards, how many times? Even if it was,
- 15:35how many times would you have to proofread that? Just going like, am
- 15:37I screwing this up? A million? Well? You know you get to
- 15:43l M N O P. It's like it could be you could mess it
- 15:46up. You got to pick one topic. You're on the right track getting
- 15:52something that would be like so easy. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah.
- 15:56Let's go myself. Can I can I give a ten question? Ten questions
- 16:03about myself? I can't screw that up. Possibly. I mean, there's
- 16:07things you've done you probably don't quite remember. I mean, ok, it's
- 16:12a question six and it's about Amanda in the morning on SIG. This is
- 16:19exactly what Nathan's hot dog eating contest needed, right because you know this year,
- 16:25on the fourth of July, he was Joey Chestnut was not in it,
- 16:27right, Okay, so I had heard reports that he was about to
- 16:30get back into it, like there was no way he would have missed it.
- 16:34No, he took part in another eating competition, not the famous nathan'st
- 16:40This was like a plant based hot dog or something that he signed out.
- 16:42Okay, So the contest took place as it did, and some guy won
- 16:47that we don't know. However, now there's some drama. There is an
- 16:51accusation that one of the contestants cheated. Let me hide a hot dog.
- 16:59Some were well that, oh, I don't know. Instead of eating,
- 17:03and he check his sleeves. Why is he wearing a dress shirt. It's
- 17:07just got ten hot dogs loaded up in his sleep. No, Nick Weary
- 17:11is a contestant's name. Now Nick took fourth place, so he wasn't the
- 17:17winner. So this is the scandal With a fourth place person, it still
- 17:19matters, okay, integrity of the event one of America's great past times.
- 17:26So he finished with fifty one point seventy five hot dogs and getting over fifty.
- 17:32Getting over fifty is a prestigious accomplishment in this hot dog eating contest world.
- 17:37Getting over five should be well, I mean it's all deluded because Joey
- 17:41Chestnut was housing seventy no problem, right, Okay, so this guy finishes
- 17:45with fifty one point seventy five. But upon further review and after some complaints
- 17:49from other contestants, it was discovered that Nick Weary was moving around empty plates
- 17:56to make it appear that he ate more hot than he actually did. So
- 18:03this is a little confusing to me because I don't know what their system is.
- 18:06But wouldn't you think somebody is sitting there counting his hot dogs like that
- 18:11should be one person's job because you're just watching that. You're watching him insert
- 18:15the hot dogs. Yep, as soon as it goes down, counting a
- 18:18random plate that would go by. Right. Well, apparently they are because
- 18:22he took a plate from one of the other contestants and moved it over to
- 18:26his area, meaning that there was five extra hot dogs that were counted for
- 18:30him when really he only ate forty six point seventy five. So where would
- 18:34that put him? Then? Would he have even made it to fourth place?
- 18:38He still would have got fourth place? Yeah, okay, yeah,
- 18:41that's either way. I'm trying to draw this drum this up to be this
- 18:44huge controversy and I'm really putting holes in the story you are. I'm nothing
- 18:48would have changed. He still would have gone fourth, but you know,
- 18:51he wouldn't been over that prestigious fifty. He wouldn't be in the fifty plus
- 18:55club. And it's just once again, it's just the integrity of it.
- 18:59So this guy, he's accepted his punishment, although he does contend that he
- 19:02didn't actually cheat. I'm sorry, what is this punishment? He's only gonna
- 19:07be counted for forty six point seven by hot dogs? He's not getting like
- 19:11he's not getting like hot dogs thrown at him or anything. Can we get
- 19:15like a good can we get a good punishment? You get a good hot
- 19:18dogging it was getting stoned in medieval times, or yeah, you're just getting
- 19:22whipped with hot dogs. I gotta hurt. It doesn't sound half bad like
- 19:27a man in the morning. Come on, get up on big And if
- 19:34you've been on a vacation a man, you just probably experienced this. You
- 19:37might experience something called travel depression. This, oh, come on. You
- 19:42know you know the feeling after coming home from a trip, which is something
- 19:45like you're so excited for this trip, for so long, almost the point
- 19:49where I've kind of thought that the build up is more exciting than the actual
- 19:53trip, wouldn't you say, See, it's always like the first couple of
- 19:57days of vacation, so great, excuse me. But for instance, I
- 20:03was off for about a week and it was already on like Sunday ish Monday,
- 20:10coming back to work on Thursday, that I was already starting to get
- 20:11like that anxiety of my vacation's already over. And so those last couple of
- 20:18days you almost like ruin it because you're you're like your anticipation of it being
- 20:23or right, you're no longer the first day. Like I go to Vegas
- 20:27quite a bit, and it's that first day you're there, you're at the
- 20:30pool, you're gambling, it's like there's nothing, You're just at your best.
- 20:34You're just this loose, freewheeling vacation er. But then the last day
- 20:38you're right, you get the email to check into your flight and you're just
- 20:41like stressed out. You can't be that. You're like, you gotta hold
- 20:45back a little because I gotta leave in the morning. Well, they call
- 20:48it travel depression. It pretty much starts there. And then when you get
- 20:52home, you just feel this low. You go from this high high to
- 20:56this low because it's like, well what now, you know that's over.
- 20:59Well, there's a travel expert demanded, Oh, has a couple of ways
- 21:02to fight travel depression. Hit me with it. Well. Number one,
- 21:07clean your house. We tried cleaning your house. Actually, I will tell
- 21:11you this, this was really awesome. Our friends over at super Cleaning,
- 21:15we have them come in once a month and going into a full commercial.
- 21:19Why they came over on Wednesday and I had forgot that that was like our
- 21:23cleaning appointment and it was so nice rolling in after vacation and I'm like,
- 21:30I really have nothing to do here other than to do a load of laundry.
- 21:33Oh yeah, And that's it when you've already got a mess and and
- 21:37you're staring at a suitcase that you need to unpack and laundry. But sometimes
- 21:41you forget what you left your home, like you know what I mean.
- 21:44It's like it was the bedmaid did I do this? Or you know,
- 21:47we forgot to take the garbage out that reeks. No, that's like one
- 21:49of the first things I do when I leave the house. Definitely needed.
- 21:53Yeah, cleaning your house. I say, it's one of the great forms
- 21:56of therapy. Also, to fight travel depression, create an album of your
- 22:00favorite photos and videos from the trip. Oh, I feel like I do
- 22:03that all the time. Yeah, I mean your phone does it for you.
- 22:07I know you have a you know, what's your phone again, I'm
- 22:11an Android. Oh that's right, the old Galaxy. I don't know if
- 22:14it does it like an iPhone where it creates memories for you and it really
- 22:18does a nice job, like puts all the photos in, adds nice touching
- 22:21music. It's really sweet, and it'll just show it to you like,
- 22:22hey, we thought you'd want this little album from your trip. That is
- 22:26nice. But yeah, it is tough to get back into the swing of
- 22:30things after you've been on a nice little guess, especially if you have like
- 22:34a group text going with the people you went on vacation. It's good to
- 22:37like, you know, kind of somebody will a week later. You'll just
- 22:40be sitting at work on Wednesday and they'll send a you know, a reference
- 22:44to something from the trip, a little inside joke or a photo. Funny
- 22:48you talk to somebody, like if you are going on a trip with a
- 22:51group of people, the anticipate the amount that you're talking all the time,
- 22:56and then all of a sudden, it's like it just like wisps, I
- 23:00know. And then it's like, is somebody gonna bring this back? And
- 23:02sometimes two or three months later it's like, oh, yeah, remember you
- 23:04guys we ran on this trip together. Years later, yeah, I went.
- 23:07You know, on trips where the Bachelor parties especially, they'd always start
- 23:11a snapchat group. Oh yeah, and so there'd be a lot of people,
- 23:14you know, but then there'd be the random like relative or people you
- 23:17have no idea that's the last time you'll ever see them, but you're in
- 23:19the snapchat group forever. Oh it's good times. Also, she suggests reminding
- 23:25yourself nothing is permanent, which is like a weird, ominous suggestion. You
- 23:30know, nothing's permanent a minute, got it. That's a good, good
- 23:33tip. And then also she said it's okay if you need to cry.
- 23:37Oh I did cry. I will admit I did cry on Wednesday. Oh
- 23:44god. I were sitting on the pontoon and Lance Pants had the kids and
- 23:48they were on the four wheeler and it was just like that moment I was
- 23:49sitting there and I just started crying. I called Nick I'm like, why
- 23:52am I crying? He's like, I don't know, You're gonna be back
- 23:56the lake in thirty six hours. But it was one of those I don't
- 23:59know, it was just kind of like, gosh, it was just really
- 24:00nice to like have that time. Well you did leave the kids at the
- 24:03lake, right, No, they're with me. Oh that was that was
- 24:08a week. That was like a week two weeks ago. Okay, but
- 24:11never mind. And then final final tip, this is a good one.
- 24:15I like this. Just plan your next vacation, right, Just have something
- 24:18else to look forward to, even if it's a year later, eight months
- 24:22later, You're not wrong. Just get it on the books. You always
- 24:23gotta have something to look forward. That's what life is about for me.
- 24:27Anyway. I don't know if that's correct or not. I'm with you,
- 24:30Yeah, what do you got? What you got coming out? What are
- 24:32you looking forward to? Well? Today, hopefully just be back at the
- 24:36Lake Pike in a minute in the morning on Big Nut eight pointnding. Now
- 24:45here's what you need to know. Well, it was a day we will
- 24:48never forget. And the Fargo Police Department will be holding a ceremony to commemorate
- 24:52the one year anniversary of the shooting that occurred on July fourteenth of last year.
- 24:56The ceremony will honor the sacrifice and heroic actions of Fargo Please Officer Jake
- 25:00Wi Leene, as well as other members of the Fargo Police Department and Fire
- 25:03Department. The event will be on Sunday at four pm at the City Commission
- 25:07Chambers in the Fargo City Hall. The public is invited. You can also
- 25:10live stream it. It'll be on the City of Fargo social media sites.
- 25:12If you just go to fargod dot gov, backslash streaming, you'll be able
- 25:17to watch it there. The first press conference of the year for a president,
- 25:22Biden didn't do as much as I think a lot of people had hoped
- 25:25he did. I guess there were some moments. I guess we could say
- 25:29if there was foreign policy discussions and they were making sense. But right out
- 25:34of the gates during this special report last night, I think we all went
- 25:38no, no, no, no, you didn't listen. Yeah, they
- 25:41asked him what it was. Basically, they're suggesting that if he were to
- 25:45back out and Kamala Harris had to take over, why does he think that
- 25:48she would be fit? I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be vice
- 25:52president? Do I think she was not qualified to be president? So let's
- 25:56start there. I mean wild, I mean, I've never what it Trump
- 26:00and Kamala Harris side by side, but I mean I can see where maybe
- 26:03there's confusion, plot twist. The parties have collaborated. It's President Biden dual
- 26:10ticket yet and Trump. You guys decide who you want to be for.
- 26:15I mean, listen to I just can't now stand watching these press conferences because
- 26:18the questions all of them were very much like, hey, you acknowledge that
- 26:22you're probably too old to do this, and everybody pretty much agrees, even
- 26:26in your own party. And he would just sidestep it and go into something
- 26:30about creating jobs, which every presidential you know, candidate ever, it's like
- 26:36nobody's created more jobs. I created two thousand jobs this week. What did
- 26:40you push a button and do that? It's just like well, and then
- 26:42just like for me, it was the trailing off and the mumbling, I'm
- 26:45like, wait, where are we going here? What just happened? And
- 26:48getting off track. After the press conference, at least three more Democratic members
- 26:52of the House of Representatives called for biding a step down from the race.
- 26:55It'll be interesting to see if anything happens. I personally do not see that
- 27:00happening. I really don't. He seems like he just wants to hold his
- 27:04ground. Nobody asks a good question. They're like, well, you might
- 27:07feel that way now, but do you feel that in one year, in
- 27:10two years and three years, that you're still going to be able to get
- 27:12the job done? Like he says, I don't know. You know,
- 27:15It's just it's kind of like you and me. It's like when when he
- 27:18says a sentence without screwing up, it's like, oh, bad, wait
- 27:21to go, I'm bad. That's me every day. Also, last night,
- 27:25I forgot these were on the Spies. We're on last night. Patrick
- 27:27Mahomes won the award for Best Athlete. Caitlin Clark took home two awards,
- 27:32of course, best College Athlete in Women's Sports and the award for the best
- 27:36record breaking performance for becoming NCAA Division one all times leading scorer of course in
- 27:42women's basketball. Yeah right, yeah, that's impressive. I didn't watch the
- 27:47I didn't watch the event. Yeah. I saw a couple of the clips
- 27:51of Serena and Venus Williams doing the presenting and dissing the kicker from the chiefs
- 27:56Oh Harrison, butker butt Kert. Yeah what a last name? But her
- 28:00oh childish? All right, weather today it is going to be hot high.
- 28:04You have ninety two looking ahead at your weekend forecast. Either get in
- 28:08the water or drink a lot of water. Tomorrow is going to be ninety
- 28:11four and ninety on Sunday a minute in the morning, big ninety eight points
- 28:15seven. You gotta appreciate the honesty here from this dad who had the bravery
- 28:19to go online and complain about something that you're really not going to hear many
- 28:22people do. He said, you know, he's a new dad, okay,
- 28:26So he's got young kids, okay, And he said one thing bothers
- 28:29him. Before becoming a parent, he said, I expected that playing with
- 28:33the child would be you know, quite enjoyable. It'd be a lot of
- 28:34fun. But now that he's done it, he said, it's just so
- 28:37incredibly boring. What this is his direct quote, stop it. This is
- 28:42a dad. This is a natural dad. He said, I really have
- 28:45to try hard to seem interested and not give away that I'd rather be doing
- 28:49something else, you know, like playing ball. But you got to hold
- 28:52back ninety percent or pushing toy cars around. He said, it's just boring.
- 28:59Now, wow, I digest that. Yeah, this is uh,
- 29:04this is kind of a slap in the face. Wow. Okay, Well,
- 29:07I mean there's times where you're doing it you're like, okay, let's
- 29:10maybe move on to something different, or hey, do you want to play
- 29:12alone? I get that, especially if I have a kid who likes to
- 29:15do the same thing over and over and over again. It's like, all
- 29:18right, okay, let's take a little bit of a break here. But
- 29:22I actually find my husband enjoying that more. Like every time I'm like,
- 29:27oh, just let him go do He's like, no, let's go.
- 29:30Let's come on, let's go play with the kids. Like okay, he's
- 29:33a real active superda here it comes nick No. But I mean, I
- 29:40got I got two nephews, and I don't think they're in the car yet,
- 29:42so I don't I don't want to break any hearts here. But like
- 29:45I'll be honest when I'm when I'm playing with them, like there's the initial
- 29:48oh come play uncle t T you know, well, you get excited because
- 29:51it's like, okay, they want you. But then as soon as you're
- 29:53doing it and the other adults are like off in the living room talking,
- 29:56it's like kind of rather be doing that. And then so you're you're kind
- 30:00of always constantly trying to all right, okay, one more time and then
- 30:03we're there. We're gonna be done, so I can go do adult stuff,
- 30:06you know. But it depends on what it is like once they get
- 30:10old enough to be able to. It depends on what it is like.
- 30:12For instance, when the kids are playing in the water, it's like I
- 30:17just you know, I don't really want to get what again? Or I
- 30:19just got out and you know I can see that, right, if they
- 30:23get old enough where they can play a card game or something like that,
- 30:26or even my nephews are really into like hot wheels and if we got a
- 30:30cool ramp going, like heck, yeah, all about it. Card games.
- 30:33I actually that's one thing I can get locked in. Our kids at
- 30:37school learned a game called garbage, and so we play that all the time,
- 30:42like sid and I will go hours playing that cause it's just you just
- 30:45get into it and it's easy and it's fun. Yeah, do you enjoy
- 30:48like role playing? Like one mom chimed in on this guy's post said that
- 30:52her daughter's turning five and all they do is pretend play. You know,
- 30:56they're Barbie dolls. You know, doctor, we have all of the cops
- 31:00and robbers are That's a big one in our house. Briggs loves to put
- 31:03on his cop outfit and then come after us. I mean that's entertaining.
- 31:07Anytime there's running involved, That's that's where the problem really is. Do you
- 31:12like climbing any sort of ladders? Yeah, this is terrible. My girlfriend
- 31:17and I over the weekend. Have you ever played cemetery or like graveyard?
- 31:22I have none. Tell me about it. Kids, just lay down.
- 31:26Oh there,
