- 0:08Speaker 1: Scandal Vie for sure. It's Bice. It's time and welcome
- 0:15Speaker 1: to the Naudy Bernice. I'm your host, ramp Shooter, and
- 0:17Speaker 1: it is Monday. Garrett's off today for the holiday, so
- 0:20Speaker 1: it's just us Naughty's. But don't worry. We've got so
- 0:24Speaker 1: much gossip, so much news to get to. We can
- 0:28Speaker 1: fill the next fifteen to twenty minutes just us Naughty's.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I love having you as the co host, so please
- 0:35Speaker 1: sing along help me out here? Yea, what time is it?
- 0:38Speaker 1: My friends? It is tea time. Oh you sound marvelous. Okay.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Big story at the top of the show, Megan Markle
- 0:46Speaker 1: and Prince Harry are blaming the Queen's death, COVID nineteen
- 0:51Speaker 1: and many other things for their career failures. So they're
- 0:55Speaker 1: lashing out here blaming others for why they're careers post
- 1:02Speaker 1: to exit from the Royal family have not really turned
- 1:06Speaker 1: out quite the way they wanted to. Harry and Meghan
- 1:11Speaker 1: believe outside of forces are responsible for their inability to
- 1:16Speaker 1: find success after leaving their duties as senior royals. A
- 1:22Speaker 1: source tells The Daily Mail Quote the word is that
- 1:25Speaker 1: they have been just really unlucky. This is what Meghan
- 1:30Speaker 1: is allegedly telling her friends have just been so unlucky.
- 1:33Speaker 1: The Insider added that the couple reportedly believe that COVID
- 1:38Speaker 1: nineteen economic downturns, the ill health, and then the death
- 1:43Speaker 1: of Prince Philip and then Queen Elizabeth all hampered their
- 1:48Speaker 1: attempts to build careers in the private sector. So rather
- 1:54Speaker 1: than blaming themselves, rather than worrying about what they're doing,
- 1:59Speaker 1: they are lashing out and blaming others. Now do they
- 2:03Speaker 1: have a point here? Maybe things got very difficult for
- 2:07Speaker 1: everybody during COVID, during the lockdowns, but arguably during that
- 2:12Speaker 1: time more people were listening to podcasts than anything else.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Our podcast exploded during the pandemic, So I'm not totally convinced.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I believe that argument, and some might argue too, that
- 2:25Speaker 1: the death of Queen Elizabeth actually increased their profile because
- 2:31Speaker 1: everybody around the world was talking about the Royals, and
- 2:36Speaker 1: when you talk about the Royals, you have to talk
- 2:38Speaker 1: about Meghan and Harry. So I'm not totally buying this.
- 2:42Speaker 1: If you remember, they announced that they were stepping down
- 2:46Speaker 1: from their senior duties in January twenty twenty, just months
- 2:51Speaker 1: before the world went into lockdown. Due to the pandemic,
- 2:56Speaker 1: so that is absolutely true. Just before the lockdowns was
- 3:00Speaker 1: when they stepped back a month after their Oprah interviewer,
- 3:05Speaker 1: then Prince Philip died at ninety nine, and they argue
- 3:10Speaker 1: that this overshadowed anything they were trying to do. And then,
- 3:13Speaker 1: obviously too, the death of the Queen made news around
- 3:18Speaker 1: the world. So part of them thinks they've just been
- 3:21Speaker 1: unlucky here, and they've worked really hard on lots of
- 3:24Speaker 1: different projects, none of which have taken off. It was
- 3:28Speaker 1: reported that they got twenty million dollars to do their
- 3:32Speaker 1: podcast deal with Spotify. However, they were mystified by Harris's
- 3:38Speaker 1: suggestions for podcasts. One of his ideas was to interview
- 3:42Speaker 1: Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Mark Zuckerberg about their childhood traumas.
- 3:50Speaker 1: This was slammed by executives who have gone on to
- 3:53Speaker 1: call the couple lazy. So what do you think here?
- 3:56Speaker 1: Were they lazy? Were they just a product bad timing?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Or is it maybe a combination of both. In my experience,
- 4:05Speaker 1: I find it's always a little bit of everything that
- 4:07Speaker 1: adds up here. The timing could have been seen as bad.
- 4:10Speaker 1: COVID it was an uncertain time. But then again, that
- 4:13Speaker 1: could have been an opportunity to really really launch an
- 4:16Speaker 1: amazing podcast. At the end of the day, I gotta say,
- 4:19Speaker 1: people listen to podcasts, what's TV shows, go to movies
- 4:23Speaker 1: because they like them because they're good. I'm not sure
- 4:26Speaker 1: Harry and Megan did the work on this. I really
- 4:29Speaker 1: wanted to love her podcast. I did. I wanted to
- 4:32Speaker 1: love it. I listened to about two, three, maybe four
- 4:36Speaker 1: of them, but I knew right away it wasn't very good.
- 4:39Speaker 1: It just wasn't a very good show. Little thought had
- 4:41Speaker 1: gone into it. We've listened to so many different shows,
- 4:44Speaker 1: my friends. We know the good ones, we know the
- 4:45Speaker 1: bad ones. We know the ones that make an effort,
- 4:48Speaker 1: that do the prep, that do their homework. We talk
- 4:51Speaker 1: about that a lot here on the Naudy but Nic Show.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Do the work. I don't think these two did the work.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And I don't know if I can blame them, because
- 4:58Speaker 1: from the day he was born, people literally bowed when
- 5:02Speaker 1: they entered a room and saw him. He's got a
- 5:04Speaker 1: huge ego. Of course, he does his prince. He thinks
- 5:08Speaker 1: he's very special. Everything has come so easy for him workwise. Personally,
- 5:13Speaker 1: I'll give him that he's had a very difficult personal life,
- 5:16Speaker 1: starting with the death of his mother. But professionally, whatever
- 5:21Speaker 1: Harry has wanted, he has got. Let's be honest, if
- 5:25Speaker 1: you and I walked into Spotify and asked for twenty
- 5:28Speaker 1: million dollars, we wouldn't get it, and neither should have
- 5:30Speaker 1: Harry and Meghan. They were never going to deliver the
- 5:33Speaker 1: type of listeners to justify that amount of money. It
- 5:37Speaker 1: was just never going to happen. And then Harry's ideas
- 5:40Speaker 1: of shows to do were so wacky, he was so odd.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Maybe they would have worked. Maybe an interview with Donald
- 5:46Speaker 1: Trump talking about his childhood of Vladimir Putin might have worked,
- 5:51Speaker 1: but alas it didn't because these shows did not happen.
- 5:55Speaker 1: The same is true with their Netflix deal. They do
- 5:57Speaker 1: have a deal with Netflix that is ongoing, but their
- 6:00Speaker 1: first big sort of documentary, their first big project, didn't
- 6:05Speaker 1: do quite as well as everyone had hoped, which brings
- 6:09Speaker 1: us to our pole question of the day. Megan and
- 6:11Speaker 1: Harry are blaming bad luck on their career failures. What
- 6:16Speaker 1: do you think was it bad luck? Was it the
- 6:18Speaker 1: death of the Queen? Was it COVID? Was it the lockdowns?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Or Is this more to do with them? Is there
- 6:24Speaker 1: such a thing as bad luck or is it them?
- 6:29Speaker 1: What do you think? Go vote on our Twitter page
- 6:32Speaker 1: at Naughty Nice Rob at Facebook page Naughty Gossip and
- 6:37Speaker 1: Michid have to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 6:40Speaker 1: A friend of mine says, and I love this quote.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Good luck is when an opportunity comes along and you
- 6:45Speaker 1: were prepared. That's good luck. But you have to be prepared.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I don't think either one of them were prepared for this.
- 6:52Speaker 1: They were not prepared for this. Okay, don't forget to vote. Hey,
- 6:57Speaker 1: Moving along, Madonna burned her self out trying to compete
- 7:02Speaker 1: with much younger stars like Taylor Swift. So Madonna's loved
- 7:05Speaker 1: ones actually feared that the Queen of Pomp danced herself
- 7:09Speaker 1: literally into the ICU hospital by trying to compete with
- 7:14Speaker 1: much younger stars like Taylor Swift and Pink. Madonna is
- 7:18Speaker 1: sixty four years old. She's a legend, but she has
- 7:21Speaker 1: been pushing herself to her physical limits ahead of her
- 7:25Speaker 1: much anticipated celebration tour. Oh, I can't wait for this tour.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I hope it still happens. We'll have a little bit
- 7:32Speaker 1: of news about that in just a moment, which led
- 7:35Speaker 1: to her sudden claps and her multi day hospitalization. Sources
- 7:41Speaker 1: are telling The Sun quote, the countdown was well and
- 7:45Speaker 1: truly on. Madonna had all her chips on one number,
- 7:51Speaker 1: which was this tour. She worked over time. She clearly
- 7:56Speaker 1: burned herself out, and people around her have been polightly
- 8:01Speaker 1: that's the right word, politely, trying to remind her that
- 8:05Speaker 1: she's not forty five anymore. Hell, she's not twenty five anymore,
- 8:09Speaker 1: and so she is sixty four. But she is pushing
- 8:12Speaker 1: herself to keep up with people like Taylor Swift, who
- 8:16Speaker 1: is in her thirties. They said she needed to pace herself,
- 8:20Speaker 1: but she kept pushing herself to a risky extreme. Taylor's
- 8:25Speaker 1: thirty three, Pink is forty three, and both of those
- 8:28Speaker 1: have recently embarked on a headline grabbing tour characterized by
- 8:34Speaker 1: really gew dropping showman ship. Swift has consistently played for
- 8:40Speaker 1: over three hours while pink stunts and aerial stunts hundreds
- 8:46Speaker 1: of feet above her audience heads has left everybody stunned.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Madge Madonna was planning to do something very similar. My
- 8:54Speaker 1: sources tell me people who work on the New two
- 8:56Speaker 1: I no one's seen it yet, but they were telling
- 8:58Speaker 1: me it was going to be spectacular. Madonna was going
- 9:01Speaker 1: to do stuff on that stage that nobody had ever
- 9:05Speaker 1: done before. Friends are saying that they noticed the physical strain.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And friends say that they did notice the physical strain
- 9:13Speaker 1: she was under, and they were worried that it could
- 9:16Speaker 1: lead to a similar fate as Michael Jackson, who died
- 9:20Speaker 1: in the lead up to his This Is It tour
- 9:23Speaker 1: in two thousand and nine. Quote, many of us feel
- 9:26Speaker 1: the constant remarks about her age has put pressure on
- 9:30Speaker 1: Madonna to compete. So we're relieved that she has actually
- 9:34Speaker 1: been forced to take time out and put her health
- 9:37Speaker 1: first because people were really worried about her, although others
- 9:40Speaker 1: go on to say that she doesn't plan to change anything.
- 9:44Speaker 1: In fact, just hours before she collapsed, she was in
- 9:47Speaker 1: the studio with Katie Perry. Now she's at home and
- 9:50Speaker 1: she is planning to go ahead with the tour. There
- 9:54Speaker 1: are no plans to scale back the tour. It will
- 9:57Speaker 1: be rescheduled, but Madonna is home happy, taking meetings. Is
- 10:01Speaker 1: that wise? Madonna takes some time off, and she has
- 10:04Speaker 1: rejected a proposal to scale back the tour. She said
- 10:09Speaker 1: no all the date she has committed to she is
- 10:12Speaker 1: going to do or Madonna, I love you, you know Lord,
- 10:17Speaker 1: the Naughties know how much I love you. I want
- 10:19Speaker 1: you to be happy and healthy and safe, and I
- 10:21Speaker 1: also too want us to admit who we are at
- 10:24Speaker 1: different stages in allis. I can't do things now that
- 10:28Speaker 1: I could do in my twenties, and I've made peace
- 10:29Speaker 1: with that. Madonna, make peace with this. You've got nothing
- 10:33Speaker 1: to prove. You're a legend, an absolute legend. Another tour
- 10:37Speaker 1: would be amazing. We'd all love to see you, but
- 10:40Speaker 1: I don't need you to fly around the stadium. I
- 10:42Speaker 1: don't need you to put on a show for three
- 10:44Speaker 1: four hours like Taylor Swift. Be You, Madonna, be you,
- 10:49Speaker 1: do you. Let's be honest. It certainly has worked up
- 10:53Speaker 1: to now. Okay, this story is wild. So Bravo are
- 10:57Speaker 1: right now looking for new cast members to the pump Rulers.
- 11:01Speaker 1: So Brathero executives are seeking to add new members to
- 11:05Speaker 1: the cast. They often want to fresh and up the show,
- 11:08Speaker 1: and they've started to have these conversations inside us say
- 11:11Speaker 1: sources claim that the series stars like Laala and Katie
- 11:16Speaker 1: they are looking to bring in more of their friends
- 11:20Speaker 1: who might be a good fit. So they always do
- 11:22Speaker 1: this on The Housewives, now on vander Pump. They don't
- 11:24Speaker 1: want total strangers. They want people who know the cast,
- 11:27Speaker 1: who have an organic, authentic relationship with the existing cast.
- 11:31Speaker 1: So Bravo has gone to La La and Katie and said,
- 11:34Speaker 1: please introducers to some of your friends. We want to
- 11:37Speaker 1: expand the pool here and this is just good TV.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I know you want to focus on the scandal here,
- 11:42Speaker 1: so do I the cheating scandal Tom Raquel, But we
- 11:47Speaker 1: also too need to pivot a little bit to keep
- 11:49Speaker 1: the show fresh, otherwise it just becomes a repeat of
- 11:52Speaker 1: the season we've just watched. So yes, Tom Raquel are
- 11:56Speaker 1: going to be a huge part of the new season,
- 12:00Speaker 1: and of course they are. That's going to be the
- 12:02Speaker 1: center of it. But they want to surround this dramatic
- 12:05Speaker 1: story with a little bit of new blood. And I
- 12:07Speaker 1: think that is a really really good idea, a really
- 12:11Speaker 1: really good idea. What do you think. SO fans are
- 12:14Speaker 1: accusing Courtney Kardashian a throwing shade by sharing her license
- 12:18Speaker 1: photo her driving license photo after Kim visited the DMV.
- 12:23Speaker 1: SO fans a courtly Courtney Kardashian, who just posted a
- 12:28Speaker 1: photograph of her driving license on the same day that
- 12:32Speaker 1: Kim bought her glam squad to the DMV. You heard
- 12:36Speaker 1: that right. Kim turned up at the DMV to get
- 12:39Speaker 1: her photograph taken, with her hair, her makeup people, her stylist,
- 12:43Speaker 1: her whole team to make sure she looked great in
- 12:47Speaker 1: the photograph. Now, Courtney's having a little bit of fun,
- 12:50Speaker 1: little bit of fun by posting her driving license under
- 12:54Speaker 1: her legal name, which is Courtney Kardashian Barker. She tagged
- 13:00Speaker 1: the post quote, say my name now. Fans immediately commented
- 13:05Speaker 1: that Courtney is shading Kim. This comes right next to
- 13:10Speaker 1: the moment when Kim closed down the DMV in California.
- 13:15Speaker 1: And yes, she did bring her own hair and makeup
- 13:17Speaker 1: people for what she called, quote the most important photograph
- 13:22Speaker 1: you'll ever take. Oh Kim, Courtney is totally mocking Kim,
- 13:27Speaker 1: said one fan. Another fan pointed out the same day
- 13:30Speaker 1: the episode came out, dare I say there is still
- 13:34Speaker 1: some beef? I hit the phones to see what was
- 13:36Speaker 1: going on here. Yes, there's a little bit of beef,
- 13:38Speaker 1: but also too, this is just great pr They're these
- 13:41Speaker 1: sisters a genius. This family is genius at staying in
- 13:46Speaker 1: the headlines, and that's what they're doing here. I think
- 13:48Speaker 1: they're actually turning up the volume on the drama between
- 13:52Speaker 1: Kim and Courtney to a level that is probably higher
- 13:54Speaker 1: than it is in reality. Kim and Courtney are shobiz
- 13:59Speaker 1: legends at this They know exactly what they do. They
- 14:02Speaker 1: know how to make reality TV. They know how to
- 14:04Speaker 1: cause drama and scandal, and a beef between the two
- 14:08Speaker 1: sisters is the reason people are tuning in to this season.
- 14:12Speaker 1: So everybody calmed down a little bit. They are fine,
- 14:14Speaker 1: They don't hate each other. In fact, behind the scenes,
- 14:17Speaker 1: I'm told they are closer, closer than ever. Okay, we're
- 14:21Speaker 1: going to take a quick break and we will be
- 14:23Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Night Show.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I'm robbed shooter. Hey, Naughty's let's get to the polls
- 14:29Speaker 1: that the dull. Thank you for joining in. So on
- 14:33Speaker 1: our last show, we talked about Madonna's family actually thought
- 14:37Speaker 1: they could lose her. It was that serious. Did you
- 14:41Speaker 1: think the same when their news broke? Did you think
- 14:44Speaker 1: we could lose Madonna? Let's have a look. Eighty percent
- 14:48Speaker 1: said yes, you thought this was the end. I did two.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I really feared that this was the end now because
- 14:54Speaker 1: of what I do for a living. I found out
- 14:57Speaker 1: about this just before it went live, just before the
- 15:00Speaker 1: whole world found out. We had sources telling us what
- 15:04Speaker 1: was going on, and when that happened, the picture wasn't
- 15:07Speaker 1: clear yet, and it seemed much worse. When somebody's found unresponsive,
- 15:12Speaker 1: rush to hospital. You fear the worse, oh Madonna. Okay,
- 15:17Speaker 1: don't forget to vote on today's poll. Go to our
- 15:20Speaker 1: Twitter page and Naughty Nice Rob or our Facebook page
- 15:23Speaker 1: nor Gas, and be sure to check back tomorrow. We're
- 15:26Speaker 1: to hear your results. Yes, we will be here tomorrow.
- 15:29Speaker 1: We're going to celebrate the fourth together, my friends. I'm
- 15:31Speaker 1: an American, I became an American citizen. So let's seller
- 15:35Speaker 1: break together. Hot dogs, cheeseburgers, fredge fries. Oh yes please, Okay, now,
- 15:43Speaker 1: let's do our Nicsiest of the Dame Kim Catrell is
- 15:48Speaker 1: saying that her cameo And Just Like That is as
- 15:51Speaker 1: far as she's going to go. So Kim said that
- 15:54Speaker 1: her hotly anticipated cameo in the second season of And
- 15:58Speaker 1: Just Like That will be her final hurrah. A Samantha Jones,
- 16:03Speaker 1: The Sex and the City Alumba, who initially refused to
- 16:06Speaker 1: star in the reboot series after a feud with co
- 16:10Speaker 1: star Sarah Jessica Parker, delighted fans with the news that
- 16:14Speaker 1: she is stepping back into those fabulous shoes of our
- 16:17Speaker 1: beloved pr guru Samantha Jones. But it's just for a
- 16:20Speaker 1: brief cameo less than two three minutes. It's very very short.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Speaking with Hoder on The Today Show, Kim insinuated that
- 16:28Speaker 1: the cameo is as far as she will go, saying quote,
- 16:32Speaker 1: I felt like dipping my toe back in time and
- 16:35Speaker 1: having a wonderful afternoon. She shot the whole thing in
- 16:38Speaker 1: just an afternoon. When asked what made her change her
- 16:40Speaker 1: mind from a definite note to starring in the series
- 16:44Speaker 1: to finally agreeing to appear in it, Kim answered with
- 16:48Speaker 1: a quick and simple quote, that's as far as I'm
- 16:52Speaker 1: gonna go. I don't think I'll ever say goodbye to
- 16:55Speaker 1: Samantha Jones, but that is as far as I am
- 16:58Speaker 1: ever gonna go. She went on to add that she
- 17:01Speaker 1: likes that character so much, and she's so protective over Samantha,
- 17:05Speaker 1: all her characters and Samantha gave her so much kachin
- 17:08Speaker 1: kaching a lot of money, but she's not going to
- 17:11Speaker 1: do anymore now. And naughtyous of the day, naughty, naughty,
- 17:17Speaker 1: naughty King Charles has kicked out the Queen's beloved assistant
- 17:21Speaker 1: after the monarch's death. So King Charles has forced Queen
- 17:25Speaker 1: Elizabeth's mistrusted aid to move out of the family estate.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Following his mother's death, Angela Kelly believed that she would
- 17:33Speaker 1: be allowed to reside in a cottage in Windsor Park
- 17:37Speaker 1: after her lifetime pll the Queen passed away. However, Charles
- 17:42Speaker 1: had other ideas and said no, no, no. Kelly first
- 17:46Speaker 1: began working for the Queen in nineteen ninety four as
- 17:50Speaker 1: a dresser, but over time that role really changed and
- 17:53Speaker 1: she became her best friends. During the queen's later years,
- 17:56Speaker 1: Angela was closer to her than really almost anybody else,
- 18:00Speaker 1: so her official title was personal assistance, but it went
- 18:04Speaker 1: much further than that. She was a confident, a friend
- 18:07Speaker 1: and the person that the Queen looked to more than
- 18:10Speaker 1: anybody else. When the Queen was alive, Kelly had a
- 18:14Speaker 1: room on the same floor as the Queen in the
- 18:16Speaker 1: private apartments that's how close they were. But now that
- 18:19Speaker 1: she's passed, King Charles has brought her a home, but
- 18:22Speaker 1: it's not the home she wanted. So this is a
- 18:24Speaker 1: tricky one here. Yes, it's lovely, lovely, lovely. When you
- 18:28Speaker 1: end a job to get a house, it's amazing, but
- 18:30Speaker 1: it's not quite the home she once And naughtiest of
- 18:34Speaker 1: the day, let's end with her moment of Rob. You
- 18:36Speaker 1: rob a rob, you get a rum. The more interested
- 18:40Speaker 1: people are in others, the more interesting they become. My
- 18:44Speaker 1: most interesting friends are my most curious ones are the
- 18:47Speaker 1: ones that the most interested in me and everybody else.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Be interested in other people's lives, and the more interesting
- 18:54Speaker 1: your life will become. Hey, that is it for today.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening to The Naughty but
