- 0:00Speaker 1: President Trump breaking records, important records at our southern border.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Since inauguration day, the administration has deported over five hundred
- 0:09Speaker 1: and fifteen thousand illegal aliens, one point six million have
- 0:14Speaker 1: self deported, and four hundred and eighty five thousand have
- 0:17Speaker 1: been arrested.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Now it's a stunning one point eighty from.
- 0:20Speaker 1: The previous administration who fled out, denied a crisis, and
- 0:24Speaker 1: promoted open borders. But it's clear Americans have had enough.
- 0:28Speaker 1: A new poll shows forty percent of US adults think
- 0:33Speaker 1: all illegal immigrants should be deported, regardless of whether or
- 0:37Speaker 1: not they have committed crimes other than illegal immigration. Forty percent,
- 0:42Speaker 1: according to many polls, is low on the number of
- 0:45Speaker 1: Americans that actually want to enforce our laws against illegal immigration.
- 0:49Speaker 1: But this comes as the White House is also looking
- 0:52Speaker 1: to reform US asylum system. It's an important milestone, and
- 0:57Speaker 1: we've seen a high price tag to migrants and asylum
- 1:02Speaker 1: seekers in other parts of the world.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Case in point the Netherlands.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Twenty sixteen data shows that while migrants arriving from countries
- 1:11Speaker 1: like the United States, UK, and Japan brought in more
- 1:15Speaker 1: money than they took out, asylum seekers from for example,
- 1:19Speaker 1: to Middle East and Africa are costing Dutch taxpayers more
- 1:23Speaker 1: than four hundred thousand euros over the course of their lifetimes.
- 1:27Speaker 1: It matters, as it turns out, from where from home,
- 1:31Speaker 1: and they're having that play out before their very eyes.
- 1:34Speaker 1: In Ireland, their citizens are revolting after an asylum seeker
- 1:39Speaker 1: was accused of sexually assaulting a young ten year old girl.
- 1:44Speaker 1: We're going to get to that story and have more
- 1:45Speaker 1: on that a little later here on the Willkane Show,
- 1:48Speaker 1: but it does offer us the question, what is the
- 1:50Speaker 1: cost of not just illegal but legal migration here at home? Well,
- 1:56Speaker 1: for Democrats, that's the hill they're going to die on
- 2:00Speaker 1: when it comes to the government shutdown.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Ours was a queen cr we call there's a dirty
- 2:04Speaker 3: cr and you all know why because they added one
- 2:07Speaker 3: and a half trillion dollars in new spending that would
- 2:10Speaker 3: be a mandate, including hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars
- 2:15Speaker 3: for healthcare for illegal aliens on.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Day twenty two and no end insight. But some Democrats
- 2:22Speaker 1: are finally starting to say the quiet parts out loud.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Shutdowns are terrible and of course there will be you know,
- 2:33Speaker 4: families that are going to suffer. We take that responsibility
- 2:38Speaker 4: very seriously. But it is one of the few leverage
- 2:42Speaker 4: times we have.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Your suffering is leverage. That's what you just heard from
- 2:48Speaker 1: a Democrat. And leverage for what? Leverage in service of
- 2:53Speaker 1: what cost to the American taxpayer? Increasingly, the answer on
- 2:58Speaker 1: that cost and in service of what is people who
- 3:00Speaker 1: are not from America. Now, why would Democrats be seeking
- 3:05Speaker 1: to serve not the people that vote for them, nor
- 3:08Speaker 1: the people that pay taxes, nor the people truly invested
- 3:11Speaker 1: in the project that is America. Why would they be
- 3:14Speaker 1: seeking to help others? Well, part of that is because
- 3:18Speaker 1: they're serving the radical end of their party. According to
- 3:21Speaker 1: The Hill, a second person familiar with the political dynamics
- 3:25Speaker 1: within the Senate Democrat caucus said centrist senators are fearful
- 3:30Speaker 1: of breaking with leaders while party activists or planning anti
- 3:33Speaker 1: Trump rallies. We would have enough votes to reopen the
- 3:36Speaker 1: government if people were not terrified of getting the guillotine.
- 3:41Speaker 2: The guillotine what is this the French Revolution?
- 3:45Speaker 1: Are far left activists like AOC, the Jacobins, And that's
- 3:48Speaker 1: who Democrats are running in fear of AOC, the guillotine,
- 3:52Speaker 1: the Jacobins. If you do not vote and serve those
- 3:56Speaker 1: who are not yet and may never will be, at
- 3:59Speaker 1: least in culture Americans. Democrats fight hard, they say, for
- 4:04Speaker 1: health care, but it's increasingly it's the health care for
- 4:06Speaker 1: illegal immigrants, and that comes at a real cost to
- 4:09Speaker 1: actual Americans. The Wall Treet Journal points out that the
- 4:13Speaker 1: insurance coverage plans for family plans has soared to twenty
- 4:17Speaker 1: seven thousand dollars annually. That's what you're paying, and that's
- 4:20Speaker 1: a six percent increase from just last year. But that's
- 4:24Speaker 1: not the focus bringing down those costs. It's not the
- 4:26Speaker 1: focus of the left. No Subsidizing health care and the
- 4:31Speaker 1: same way they've done a college education is their focus,
- 4:34Speaker 1: and that is only and always driven prices up.
- 4:40Speaker 5: The Democratic solutions have never been to directly provides. It's
- 4:48Speaker 5: always been a subsidy to lorital man. But what happens
- 4:52Speaker 5: is when the government promises endless funds to insurance companies
- 4:58Speaker 5: or private universe without any cost controls, and Trump seems
- 5:03Speaker 5: to understand this, prices rise far beyond the rate of inflation.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Will Democrats recognize the poison pill that they've often placed
- 5:15Speaker 5: into well intentioned policy.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Well intentioned policies regardless of how it's intentioned. It's poison
- 5:23Speaker 1: It's poisoned to us, not just to our healthcare system,
- 5:25Speaker 1: but it's poisoned to the United States of America to
- 5:27Speaker 1: constantly serve people who.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Are not Americans.
- 5:30Speaker 1: And here's yet one more example something we've talked about
- 5:33Speaker 1: quite often together, and that's illegal immigrants behind the wheel,
- 5:37Speaker 1: often behind a commercial truck. Last week, an illegal immigrant
- 5:42Speaker 1: was driving a semi truck allegedly crossed into oncoming traffic
- 5:45Speaker 1: and killed a fifty four year old man. The suspect
- 5:48Speaker 1: was driving without a valid CDL, he was using a
- 5:52Speaker 1: suspended commercial driver's license that belonged to a family member,
- 5:56Speaker 1: and his company wasn't even registered with the Department of Transportation.
