- 1:31Speaker 1: Misunderstood's happy hour. Hi, Kelly. How are you?
- 1:35Speaker 2: Good. How are you, Rachel?
- 1:36Speaker 1: Oh, what are you drinking there?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Iced coffee, sugar-free. Oh, nice. Okay.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Working on your diet there.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Working on my body.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Yes. Okay, good. So welcome back to the show, everybody.
- 1:51Speaker 1: This is our third happy hour, right? So I love
- 1:54Speaker 1: that you're drinking coffee. I'm actually drinking water out of
- 1:57Speaker 1: my misunderstood mug, but next week we are going to
- 2:00Speaker 1: be starting our sip or no, is it? Sorry. We're
- 2:03Speaker 1: going to be starting or spit or swallow or swallow.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 1: You don't sip.
- 2:08Speaker 2: You don't sip it. You just, I don't know. So bad,
- 2:12Speaker 2: but yes, we're going to get our drink on.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:14Speaker 1: We've had actually a bunch of companies contact us in
- 2:17Speaker 1: the last couple of weeks that want to sponsor us.
- 2:19Speaker 1: So as of next week, we will be featuring, uh, wine,
- 2:23Speaker 1: alcohol that has been sent to us that we are
- 2:25Speaker 1: going to taste, we're going to tell you guys about,
- 2:27Speaker 1: and we are either going to swallow it if we
- 2:30Speaker 1: like it, and if we don't like it, we are
- 2:32Speaker 1: going to spit it out. So we are really excited
- 2:34Speaker 1: for that segment next week. Do you want to fill
- 2:37Speaker 1: us in really quickly on what's been going on in
- 2:39Speaker 1: your dating life in the last week? Because you barely
- 2:42Speaker 1: can function because you're on so many dates.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I'm on so many dates. Honestly, I had, okay, I
- 2:48Speaker 2: can't even, I'm going to get to the point soon
- 2:50Speaker 2: where I can't talk about it because like I had
- 2:53Speaker 2: one guy who listened to the show and he's like,
- 2:56Speaker 2: I did listen, but honestly, I don't think I can
- 2:59Speaker 2: listen to any more of this because I actually like
- 3:02Speaker 2: you and I don't want to hear about it. So
- 3:05Speaker 2: it's like being on the bachelorette kind of like, yeah,
- 3:09Speaker 2: I've been on a few super high quality dates.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Who are you going to give a rose to this week? Oh, actually,
- 3:13Speaker 1: that's what we should do. You should start mentioning somebody's name. Okay,
- 3:17Speaker 1: who gets the rose this week?
- 3:19Speaker 2: Oh, gosh. Speaking of that, I have to tell you,
- 3:23Speaker 2: one of the dates I went on, the guy, he
- 3:26Speaker 2: made me this paper origami rose and gave it to me.
- 3:31Speaker 2: It was like a little symbolic of what we're doing
- 3:34Speaker 2: on this show. Oh, that's cute.
- 3:35Speaker 1: So sweet. That's a little too... sweet and cute for me,
- 3:41Speaker 1: but I think that's really nice.
- 3:43Speaker 2: It was super nice. It was a great date. He
- 3:45Speaker 2: gets my, he gets my rose this week.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Wow.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I don't mean it like that.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Yes, you do.
- 3:51Speaker 2: That's who I'd be giving.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:53Speaker 2: That's who I'd be giving the rose. Okay.
- 3:55Speaker 1: What's his name? Do we want to say it?
- 3:58Speaker 2: Starts with a J. Okay.
- 4:00Speaker 1: So we'll call him J. So J gets the rose
- 4:02Speaker 1: this week. That's very exciting. Um, do you think he's
- 4:06Speaker 1: somebody that you can marry next year?
- 4:08Speaker 2: Yes.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Wow. Wow. Jay, Jay, this is very interesting. Maybe next week,
- 4:15Speaker 1: if he's still in the running, we'll have to have
- 4:17Speaker 1: him call in.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Here's the problem. The people I'm dating are really high
- 4:22Speaker 2: quality people like this. I I've like upped this game.
- 4:25Speaker 2: So like it, it's all, Oh, I could marry probably
- 4:28Speaker 2: anybody that I I'm only dating like super high quality humans.
- 4:33Speaker 2: And so it's making it really amazing, but tough too.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So, um, Okay, well, don't forget anybody. Anyone that wants
- 4:41Speaker 1: to get involved could email suggestions. What's the email?
- 4:46Speaker 2: Gettingmarriedatmisunderstoodpodcast.com.
- 4:50Speaker 1: M-I-S-S, understood, yeah.
- 4:52Speaker 2: M-I-S-S. I had a question though. I keep getting called cute.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I keep getting called cute by these people I'm dating. Like, oh,
- 5:00Speaker 2: you're so cute. And I don't know how I feel
- 5:04Speaker 2: about that. Like, what's the difference between cute and hot
- 5:08Speaker 2: or like do guys like cute or do they want
- 5:11Speaker 2: sexy or like how does a woman like well I'm
- 5:14Speaker 2: too cute like am I I.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Don't know are your boobs out enough I don't know.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Maybe maybe yes I think I'm showing.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I think you have good boobs I mean maybe you're
- 5:23Speaker 1: not showing enough sex appeal Um, but cute is a
- 5:28Speaker 1: good word. It's worse than, you know, Oh, you've got
- 5:30Speaker 1: a great personality or something.
- 5:32Speaker 2: That's true. Um, yeah, it's better.
- 5:34Speaker 1: No, you're a beautiful girl. And I think that you
- 5:36Speaker 1: also look very young for your age. So I think
- 5:38Speaker 1: that like, you know, maybe that's the word that comes out.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And also these guys are on the younger side. I
- 5:44Speaker 1: feel like they're not maybe, you know, they don't have
- 5:47Speaker 1: a lot of sophistication with their vocabulary and it might
- 5:49Speaker 1: be intimidating to say you're such a beautiful woman.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Oh, maybe, maybe. Yeah. I want to be, I want
- 5:55Speaker 2: to be hot. I want to, but I think it's
- 5:58Speaker 2: a lot of my personality. I'm just goofy all the time.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Well, when you come here, we're going to put you
- 6:01Speaker 1: in like leather pants and like, um, I don't know.
- 6:05Speaker 1: We're going to sex you up a little bit and
- 6:07Speaker 1: see what happens.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Okay.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I need some sexing up and, um, I probably need
- 6:11Speaker 2: to stop cracking jokes all the time. I'm like, I'm
- 6:14Speaker 2: always joking around and stuff.
- 6:15Speaker 1: So yeah, well, yeah, that, oh, well, but there's nothing
- 6:18Speaker 1: wrong with that. I think that's nice.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. But this brings us to like a
- 6:22Speaker 2: lot of the stuff I want to talk about today.
- 6:24Speaker 2: So what do you want my dating? Well, we just
- 6:28Speaker 2: had an amazing guest on. So we just had Vanessa Reiser,
- 6:32Speaker 2: licensed social worker and psychotherapist. She deals with narcissistic abuse
- 6:37Speaker 2: and it brought back a lot of memories from past
- 6:41Speaker 2: relationships and things like that. And it, I kind of
- 6:46Speaker 2: like it kind of delves into some stuff we're going
- 6:48Speaker 2: to talk about today but she was an amazing guest
- 6:50Speaker 2: and she's coming out next week, and it kind of
- 6:53Speaker 2: ties in with our guests this week Sarma Melangalis from
- 6:57Speaker 2: Bad Vegan we talked a little bit about that. So,
- 7:00Speaker 2: a lot of what we're going to talk about today
- 7:02Speaker 2: will be relationship stuff but. Let's talk first, okay, about
- 7:06Speaker 2: Sarma's episode. So we had Sarma's episode on this week
- 7:09Speaker 2: in a two-parter. It was amazing. The feedback is amazing.
- 7:13Speaker 2: What were your thoughts when you were actually interviewing Sarma
- 7:16Speaker 2: in person? I know you guys have kept in touch
- 7:18Speaker 2: and stuff. So let's talk a little bit about Sarma
- 7:20Speaker 2: this week.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Well, at this point I consider Sarma a friend. So
- 7:23Speaker 1: like I was very, the point with that is it
- 7:27Speaker 1: was very happy to get to know her. I was
- 7:29Speaker 1: happy to hear her story. I was happy to be,
- 7:32Speaker 1: you know, part of, the platform that she could tell
- 7:34Speaker 1: her story on, because I think that's really important. You know,
- 7:37Speaker 1: a lot of people victim shame and, you know, I
- 7:41Speaker 1: don't try and come into any of my interviews having
- 7:43Speaker 1: an opinion.
- 7:44Speaker 2: And even if I do, they think you're done for
- 7:47Speaker 2: the day, but they don't know about the drawer, the drawer.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Just the one square before bed or two, you know,
- 7:59Speaker 1: nobody's watching. You deserve a treat. With eight flavors to
- 8:06Speaker 1: choose from, you can choose the flavor you favor with
- 8:09Speaker 1: Cadbury Dairy Milk. I have an opinion. I keep it
- 8:17Speaker 1: to myself because I think it's not my place. Like
- 8:19Speaker 1: the whole purpose of this show is for people to
- 8:22Speaker 1: tell their story without having any judgment or pushback almost.
- 8:28Speaker 1: So I loved hearing her story. I found it very
- 8:31Speaker 1: interesting because when I saw Bad Vegan come out on Netflix,
- 8:34Speaker 1: I binged it. I was obsessed with understanding more of
- 8:38Speaker 1: what happened and her. And I did have questions. I
- 8:41Speaker 1: did think crazy things. I was like, how could this
- 8:44Speaker 1: woman that seems so smart and normal get into this?
- 8:47Speaker 1: So I thought it was very interesting. It was interesting
- 8:50Speaker 1: to hear her perspective. It was interesting to hear about
- 8:52Speaker 1: psychological abuse, which sounds a lot like things that happened
- 8:56Speaker 1: in cult relationships. I've been involved in that. I went
- 9:00Speaker 1: to a boarding school that was based on a cult.
- 9:02Speaker 1: And so I'm very familiar with that. And obviously, I've
- 9:05Speaker 1: had relationships with people who.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Share traits that she spoke about, that Vanessa spoke about today, narcissistic,
- 9:14Speaker 1: abusive people that just, you know, try to gaslight you,
- 9:18Speaker 1: shame you, put you in a place where you feel
- 9:20Speaker 1: like you need them to thrive and you kind of
- 9:23Speaker 1: can't get out of the relationship. And, you know, I've
- 9:25Speaker 1: been in stuff like that. So I love that they
- 9:28Speaker 1: brought awareness to people that may be suffering in relationships
- 9:32Speaker 1: like that, but don't necessarily know it. So I think
- 9:35Speaker 1: they're both very interesting women. And the interview we had
- 9:39Speaker 1: with Tara Newell about her mother getting involved with Dirty
- 9:43Speaker 1: John was also a similar story that a beautiful, smart,
- 9:49Speaker 1: accomplished woman could get wrapped up with a liar and
- 9:53Speaker 1: someone who takes your soul from you almost and makes
- 9:56Speaker 1: you feel so bad about yourself, which is just crazy.
- 9:59Speaker 1: That's not how relationships work. are supposed to be. You're
- 10:01Speaker 1: supposed to be with somebody that is an asset to you,
- 10:02Speaker 1: that makes you feel better about yourself. You know, that's
- 10:05Speaker 1: a partner. Like I want a witness to my life.
- 10:08Speaker 1: You know, I want someone who's like my teammate, my
- 10:10Speaker 1: best friend, and who also I feel physically connected to
- 10:13Speaker 1: that I want to be intimate with. You know, that's
- 10:15Speaker 1: the most... the only thing you can share with one
- 10:18Speaker 1: other person is like this intimate moment, you know? And
- 10:21Speaker 1: so if you don't have that chemistry with them, it's
- 10:24Speaker 1: also very hard to keep that connection alive is my opinion.
- 10:28Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah, I agree. And Vanessa gave us
- 10:30Speaker 2: some really great tips on red flags, how to like
- 10:35Speaker 2: invest in ourselves and remind ourselves that we're awesome ahead
- 10:40Speaker 2: of time before we even have a chance to get
- 10:43Speaker 2: wrapped up with a narcissist, just so that we know
- 10:45Speaker 2: our worth, our value, so that, you know, we're always
- 10:48Speaker 2: reminded that when we see these red flags to kind
- 10:51Speaker 2: of run, we can get, we can totally do better
- 10:54Speaker 2: than that. So I'm super excited for her episode to
- 10:57Speaker 2: come out next week.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll be great. I really hope everybody listens.
- 11:01Speaker 2: One thing, and if people don't know the name Vanessa
- 11:04Speaker 2: Reiser right off the bat, You will know her if
- 11:07Speaker 2: you follow Real Housewives of New Jersey and that because
- 11:10Speaker 2: she's involved in that whole mess a little bit right now.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Oh, and let's talk about that because now we're personally
- 11:16Speaker 1: involved because we're heading to New York soon to have
- 11:20Speaker 1: dinner with Bo Dietl, the PI guy who is involved
- 11:24Speaker 1: in this mess with Vanessa. And you can tell the story.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Well, no, I just, we had no idea the two
- 11:31Speaker 2: were connected. First, we were having Vanessa on the show.
- 11:35Speaker 2: And then we were having Bo Dietl on the show
- 11:38Speaker 2: and having dinner with him. We didn't know that Louie,
- 11:41Speaker 2: Louie and Teresa, Louie is the PI that he supposedly
- 11:45Speaker 2: hired is Bo Dietl.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Allegedly claims that he was not hired by him at all. And,
- 11:52Speaker 1: you know, Louie, I think says that they're like best
- 11:55Speaker 1: friends and really close. And that is not what Bo says.
- 11:58Speaker 1: So she couldn't really talk about. that whole scenario, but
- 12:03Speaker 1: she spent a lot of time talking about what it
- 12:05Speaker 1: was like to date him and get out of that
- 12:07Speaker 1: relationship and be in that relationship. So I think that
- 12:10Speaker 1: it's very cool. This episode is brought to you by BetterHelp.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Sometimes in life, we're faced with tough choices and the
- 12:19Speaker 1: path forward isn't always clear. I personally have been through
- 12:22Speaker 1: a lot of trying times in my life, trauma, grief,
- 12:25Speaker 1: for example. I think those are universal themes that people
- 12:29Speaker 1: can really understand. I lost my fiance, Andy, in 9-11,
- 12:32Speaker 1: and the pain was unbearable. Since then, I've gone through
- 12:35Speaker 1: other traumas that didn't feel as big, but I still
- 12:38Speaker 1: needed to talk to somebody, and having somebody I didn't
- 12:42Speaker 1: know that well but was really good at listening felt
- 12:45Speaker 1: like the right thing to do, and it was so
- 12:47Speaker 1: helpful to me. I love that I can have someone
- 12:49Speaker 1: to talk to that isn't one of my close friends
- 12:52Speaker 1: that I can just confide in and feel like it's
- 12:54Speaker 1: between us. If you're thinking of starting therapy, give BetterHelp

- 13:50Speaker 1: going to, Kelly and I are going to New York
- 13:53Speaker 1: to go have dinner with Bo Dietl at Rao's, which
- 13:57Speaker 1: will be really fun. And we have a special guest
- 14:00Speaker 1: that's joining us for dinner, two special guests that are
- 14:02Speaker 1: joining us for dinner as well. So we will be
- 14:04Speaker 1: very happy to tell you guys all about that when
- 14:07Speaker 1: that happens.
- 14:08Speaker 2: I'm so excited. I already know what I'm going to wear.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Oh gosh.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Okay. Do you know what you're going to wear? No,
- 14:13Speaker 1: absolutely not. But I guess we'll figure it out.
- 14:16Speaker 2: We'll figure it out. Super excited. Yeah. So I'm going
- 14:19Speaker 2: to Palm Beach soon to visit you. And then we're
- 14:21Speaker 2: going to go to New York together. That's going to
- 14:23Speaker 2: be exciting. We've got a couple interviews planned with, like
- 14:27Speaker 2: you said, some special guests. So Yeah, it's going to
- 14:29Speaker 2: be great.
- 14:30Speaker 1: We're going to go out every night and we're going
- 14:33Speaker 1: to introduce you to people on Palm Beach, a whole
- 14:35Speaker 1: new type of guy. So this will be really fun.
- 14:38Speaker 2: It'll be fun. It'll be nice to get out of
- 14:40Speaker 2: Iowa because it is Iowa is just overcast and smoky
- 14:45Speaker 2: right now. I don't know if you guys are the
- 14:47Speaker 2: Canadian wildfires.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not, it hasn't reached Florida yet. But yeah,
- 14:53Speaker 1: I mean, that's really scary, everything that's happening. I was
- 14:56Speaker 1: in Las Vegas this week, this weekend for about five days.
- 14:59Speaker 1: And it was, it wasn't as hot as they're talking
- 15:02Speaker 1: about in Texas.
- 15:03Speaker 3: And I... Like what you hear? Tune into USL All

- 15:29Speaker 3: and more. All on Sirius XMFC Channel 188 and the
- 15:34Speaker 3: SiriusXM app.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I have to say Florida is even hotter than Las
- 15:37Speaker 1: Vegas because of the humidity in Florida. And in Vegas,
- 15:40Speaker 1: there is none. So it doesn't feel as hot. You
- 15:43Speaker 1: can actually sit in the sun, but the sun is
- 15:45Speaker 1: like burning on your skin. Whereas here, it's like hard
- 15:47Speaker 1: to breathe outside. But we haven't seen that wildfire stuff. And,
- 15:51Speaker 1: you know, it's very apocalyptic. You know what I mean?
- 15:55Speaker 1: It's super scary what's going on. And I get really
- 15:57Speaker 1: nervous about the state of... America or the world or whatever.
- 16:03Speaker 1: It's just, it's really weird. But talking about Vegas for
- 16:08Speaker 1: a second, I just want to say, I went on
- 16:10Speaker 1: this trip. With a group, it's hard to explain. It's
- 16:14Speaker 1: very similar to YPO, which if people know what that is,
- 16:17Speaker 1: it's people getting together that own businesses. But this was
- 16:20Speaker 1: like on a sort of different level. People that are publicly,
- 16:23Speaker 1: you know, CEOs of publicly traded companies, very famous people,
- 16:27Speaker 1: Russian oligarchs. You know, a guy who is probably going
- 16:31Speaker 1: to win the next presidency in Uruguay was one of
- 16:34Speaker 1: the guys there. Very cool people. group of people and
- 16:36Speaker 1: we did everything from hiking in Red Rock to having,
- 16:40Speaker 1: going to a black tie event where we had, we
- 16:42Speaker 1: were kidnapped and brought into this room and we got
- 16:44Speaker 1: to play poker all night and baccarat and blackjack and
- 16:49Speaker 1: they gave us basically free money and we were playing
- 16:51Speaker 1: with like, you know, $ 500, 000. And you were a dealer.
- 17:13Speaker 1: is being a casino host or somebody who dealt cards.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Because when you're there, by the way, when you're behind
- 17:20Speaker 1: that table, it's super hard to get the cards out,
- 17:23Speaker 1: to do your math really quick. Um, it's very intimidating. So,
- 17:27Speaker 1: but I had a lot of fun.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Well, you were, you were a natural, you looked so
- 17:30Speaker 2: good up there. So it was like an homage to
- 17:32Speaker 2: your Vegas days.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Yes. No, it was cool. But also one of the
- 17:36Speaker 1: things too, we had two major people come and talk
- 17:39Speaker 1: to us about, um, different things that they found to
- 17:43Speaker 1: be interesting. Right. So they had, yeah, they had the
- 17:46Speaker 1: guys from the social dilemma, the show on Netflix, which
- 17:49Speaker 1: by the way, I believe was the number two Most
- 17:52Speaker 1: watched show on Netflix ever about what social media does
- 17:57Speaker 1: and what it has done and what it's going to
- 17:59Speaker 1: do to our youth, but also just to adults, too,
- 18:02Speaker 1: because adults get addicted to it. So the two guys
- 18:06Speaker 1: that starred in that, that created it, came and spoke
- 18:09Speaker 1: to us for probably a total of six hours on
- 18:12Speaker 1: the subject. And it was very scary, the direction that
- 18:15Speaker 1: they believe the world is going with AI. They think
- 18:17Speaker 1: it's very dangerous. They think they're going to Congress to
- 18:20Speaker 1: try and get them to slow it down, to pause,
- 18:22Speaker 1: because they believe that the curve and the rate that
- 18:25Speaker 1: AI is taking over can be very dangerous. But then
- 18:29Speaker 1: on the Flip side, they were talking about the use
- 18:33Speaker 1: of AI in understanding language with animals, which I found
- 18:37Speaker 1: to be a fascinating conversation. Right now, they are already
- 18:40Speaker 1: working on it with humpback whales, beluga whales, and chimpanzees.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I didn't know any of this. I offered the guy
- 18:47Speaker 1: to come on the show. I hope that he takes
- 18:48Speaker 1: me up on it. But He believes in the next
- 18:50Speaker 1: 12 months we will be able to communicate with whales
- 18:53Speaker 1: and chimpanzees. We won't know what we're saying, but they
- 18:56Speaker 1: will be able to mimic what we're saying, and it'll
- 18:59Speaker 1: be a conversation back and forth. They believe by the
- 19:02Speaker 1: year 2030, we will be able to actually know what
- 19:04Speaker 1: they are saying and we can communicate with them because
- 19:08Speaker 1: we will learn their language. So that puts the thought
- 19:11Speaker 1: in their mind of like, could this be dangerous? Could
- 19:15Speaker 1: we be setting like a, you know, this riptide sort of,
- 19:20Speaker 1: you know, creating a mutiny with animals that we don't
- 19:23Speaker 1: realize because this has been something that we haven't been
- 19:26Speaker 1: able to crack the code for all these years. But
- 19:28Speaker 1: wouldn't it be great to know what your dog or
- 19:31Speaker 1: cats or pets are thinking? And I think by the
- 19:35Speaker 1: year 2030, we will be into knowing that. But it
- 19:38Speaker 1: also sets up the conversation of like animal abuse. And
- 19:43Speaker 1: they believe that even plants have feelings and can be
- 19:46Speaker 1: heard on a level of crying when you cry. rip
- 19:50Speaker 1: off a branch or you rip off a leaf. And, um,
- 19:53Speaker 1: you know, I just read this week that lobsters can
- 19:56Speaker 1: feel the pain when they're boiled. So, you know, they
- 19:59Speaker 1: believe that every living thing from mosquitoes to ants to,
- 20:04Speaker 1: you know, I'm looking at a plant right now has
- 20:07Speaker 1: the ability to feel, to see, um, Um, and should
- 20:11Speaker 1: be loved and cared for much differently than we are
- 20:14Speaker 1: at the moment. So that was the whole point of
- 20:16Speaker 1: that conversation.
- 20:18Speaker 2: And then plants. Yes.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Like crying at a.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Decibel that we can't hear, but yes, they, they have
- 20:25Speaker 1: the tools now with these AI contraptions that they can
- 20:29Speaker 1: hear it and, um, and not understand what it's saying,
- 20:33Speaker 1: but obviously it's crying cause it's in pain. Um, Also,
- 20:37Speaker 1: something about, you know, the nectar, they've studied nectar when
- 20:41Speaker 1: bees come closer to a plant and they can tell
- 20:46Speaker 1: that when they play the sound of a bee coming
- 20:49Speaker 1: closer to these certain plants that they develop, you know,
- 20:52Speaker 1: more of a nectar and it's more, you know, juicy
- 20:55Speaker 1: or whatever. Wow. And it's based on hearing the sound
- 20:59Speaker 1: of the bee coming closer to them.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:01Speaker 1: They believe that they can hear. So it's all really
- 21:04Speaker 1: interesting stuff.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 21:05Speaker 1: So the second thing that we were in a meeting about,
- 21:08Speaker 1: this was at almost midnight on the night before we left,
- 21:11Speaker 1: we were kidnapped. We went into this room, but we
- 21:14Speaker 1: had this really interesting presentation from somebody who's working in
- 21:20Speaker 1: the field of taking, you know, the spacecraft up and,
- 21:24Speaker 1: you know, I think there are five different companies right
- 21:26Speaker 1: now that are Richard Branson has one, Elon has one,
- 21:30Speaker 1: you know, Bezos has one to, to get people to
- 21:33Speaker 1: go into space for whether it's two minutes to 10 days,
- 21:37Speaker 1: there are these things that people can do and spend
- 21:39Speaker 1: money on like they did for the submersible. But this
- 21:43Speaker 1: new thing that they are selling now is a trip
- 21:47Speaker 1: on a, air balloon that goes into space It is
- 21:54Speaker 1: a six-hour tour total, two hours up, two hours while
- 21:57Speaker 1: you're in this capsule, floating in space, and then two
- 22:01Speaker 1: hours coming down. And it fits eight people, and most
- 22:06Speaker 1: people have not heard of this yet because they really
- 22:08Speaker 1: were promoting it to this group. It costs $ 150 to
- 22:10Speaker 1: have a seat.
- 22:11Speaker 3: $ 150?
- 22:11Speaker 1: Sorry, $ 150, 000. I'm like, oh, I'm in. I can afford that.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Let me do that again. It costs $ 150, 000 to have
- 22:15Speaker 2: a seat.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Like what you hear? Tune into USL All Access live
- 22:26Speaker 3: every Tuesday at 8 p.m. Eastern on Sirius XM FC

- 22:47Speaker 3: League and more. All on Sirius XM FC channel 188
- 22:51Speaker 3: And the SiriusXM app.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Have a seat. And people are booking entire capsules because
- 22:58Speaker 1: they want to have a wedding up there or they
- 23:02Speaker 1: want to have business meetings up there or, you know,
- 23:05Speaker 1: things like that. So they had offered our group trip
- 23:09Speaker 1: number 34. They've already booked something into the thousands of trips,
- 23:13Speaker 1: but they held group, you know, trip 34 for this
- 23:18Speaker 1: group that they were, you know, giving the presentation to.
- 23:21Speaker 1: So to see how many people wanted to book that.
- 23:23Speaker 1: So it was very interesting and enlightening and it was
- 23:26Speaker 1: great to hear the question. So it sounded like they
- 23:27Speaker 1: were the group I was with was going to probably
- 23:30Speaker 1: book eight seats. And, and I thought that was a
- 23:32Speaker 1: really cool thing. I've never heard of it. Um, so very.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Cool, but I'm like, okay, this sounds like the Titan
- 23:38Speaker 2: submersible all over again, but reverse, would you go up
- 23:42Speaker 2: in space in this hot air balloon thing? Would you go?
- 23:45Speaker 1: Well, it was interesting because they did ask a lot
- 23:48Speaker 1: of questions, obviously about safety. There was, you know, seven
- 23:50Speaker 1: different ways for things to fix itself. You know, I
- 23:54Speaker 1: was more interested about like, you know, if the balloon
- 23:56Speaker 1: where they go to the bathroom, No, there is a
- 23:58Speaker 1: bathroom in there. Of course, I'm always interested in that.
- 24:01Speaker 1: But they, it was interesting to hear how they had
- 24:06Speaker 1: all these different ways to handle the issue if something happened. But,
- 24:12Speaker 1: you know, if there's a fire in the cabin and
- 24:14Speaker 1: you're two hours from getting down, you can't fix that,
- 24:19Speaker 1: you know.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Right.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I don't know. They seem to have all these answers
- 24:24Speaker 1: for everything. So it'll be interesting when it does launch
- 24:27Speaker 1: to see what happens there. I think that'll be cool
- 24:29Speaker 1: because it's, because it's something that seems more realistic for people.
- 24:34Speaker 1: It's 150,000 instead of 250 or, you know, some of
- 24:38Speaker 1: the people I was with had are on the waiting list.
- 24:40Speaker 1: They've spent 30,000, excuse me, 30 million to 50 million
- 24:45Speaker 1: to be part of these other trips where you go
- 24:47Speaker 1: to space for 10 days. So it's a lot cheaper.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:50Speaker 2: That's a lot cheaper. It's like a good, it's like
- 24:53Speaker 2: a quick little, just dip your toes into space for
- 24:57Speaker 2: a good price.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Okay.
- 24:58Speaker 2: What, but would you go, would you go?
- 25:00Speaker 1: No, I'm too scared of stuff like that.
- 25:02Speaker 3: No.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Me too.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I also don't like heights. I don't have any desire
- 25:06Speaker 1: to see what that's like. So I'm not into it
- 25:08Speaker 1: at all.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Nope.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Me neither. Speaking of that though, like the Titan submersible
- 25:12Speaker 2: last weekend or last week, we were talking about it.
- 25:14Speaker 2: There was still hope when we were talking, we know now.
- 25:17Speaker 2: they're gone a lot of stuff on the internet about
- 25:21Speaker 2: that people are like oh good you know they were
- 25:24Speaker 2: so dumb they should never have done this to begin
- 25:27Speaker 2: with I like actually got in some fights on the
- 25:29Speaker 2: internet with people I was like shame on you like
- 25:32Speaker 2: if my kid is someday a billionaire and you're like
- 25:35Speaker 2: I mean just you can never rejoice in someone's tragic
- 25:39Speaker 2: death there was a father and a son on there
- 25:41Speaker 2: it made me so mad I feel so sad they
- 25:44Speaker 2: just had so much passion about exploring the world like
- 25:47Speaker 2: good for them they could afford it too so I'm
- 25:49Speaker 2: very sad that.
- 25:50Speaker 1: That yeah I don't think the money I think it's
- 25:52Speaker 1: really ignorant for people to talk about how much money
- 25:54Speaker 1: somebody had I mean listen it was it was a
- 25:57Speaker 1: opportunity you know that they could afford and they did
- 26:00Speaker 1: it and that has nothing to do with whether or
- 26:02Speaker 1: not they should die I mean that's crazy what I
- 26:05Speaker 1: thought was a little bit uh I don't know I
- 26:09Speaker 1: found it very nerve-wracking I guess is that they started
- 26:12Speaker 1: to bring up the remain the debris And they said,
- 26:16Speaker 1: you know, I only saw this yesterday while I was traveling,
- 26:19Speaker 1: but they said something about how they were able to
- 26:21Speaker 1: find some bodies in the submersible. I didn't know that. Yeah, so,
- 26:25Speaker 1: you know, I assumed that it imploded and the whole
- 26:28Speaker 1: thing smushed and, like, it was instantaneous. But, you know,
- 26:32Speaker 1: if it wasn't smushed and, you know, the window just
- 26:37Speaker 1: popped out and they drowned to death or, you know,
- 26:39Speaker 1: I'm very curious of what ends up coming next. them
- 26:43Speaker 1: finding the news to really be. And I'm sure they
- 26:46Speaker 1: are going to be able to figure out what happened
- 26:48Speaker 1: in their last seconds by, you know, it's like when
- 26:51Speaker 1: they have an airplane crash and they get all the
- 26:53Speaker 1: different parts and they're able to figure out what happened.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I think it'll be very similar and it's super scary.
- 26:58Speaker 1: But the group that I was with, I talked to
- 27:00Speaker 1: a lot of them about whether or not they would
- 27:02Speaker 1: have gone in the submersible and they all said yes.
- 27:04Speaker 1: And it had nothing to do with money. It was
- 27:06Speaker 1: more like they, they, felt convinced that it was safe.
- 27:10Speaker 1: The owner, you know, the CEO and founder was going
- 27:13Speaker 1: down as well. You know, it just, they would, they
- 27:17Speaker 1: would have thought it was safe.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Yep.
- 27:20Speaker 2: And the money is just like, it's a vessel, you know,
- 27:24Speaker 2: it affords you the opportunity to do things nobody else
- 27:27Speaker 2: can do. And everybody can say, oh, you know, they're billionaires, blah, blah, blah, whatever.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Like they've done really well. They deserve to do all
- 27:35Speaker 2: these amazing things, whatever. It's good. But you know, Very tragic.
- 27:39Speaker 2: But on another note, 4th of July is coming up.
- 27:43Speaker 2: So do you have any big plans?
- 27:46Speaker 1: I don't really give a shit about 4th of July.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I mean, I wondered, yeah, some people are like diehard fireworks, picnics, barbecue,
- 27:54Speaker 2: all that. I wondered how you felt.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I have a really beautiful backyard with a really nice
- 27:59Speaker 1: barbecue or grill that I've never used. So I will
- 28:04Speaker 1: probably break that out in terms of, getting a bunch
- 28:07Speaker 1: of food and inviting guests that I know can cook
- 28:10Speaker 1: on it because I will use them for their skills
- 28:13Speaker 1: because I don't know how to do that. I'd like
- 28:16Speaker 1: to try it out. I've just moved to Florida. I
- 28:20Speaker 1: have a beautiful house and I should start throwing parties.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I'm going to have one on the 4th. Also, in
- 28:26Speaker 1: my neighborhood, a bunch of people are having parties on
- 28:29Speaker 1: the third the second you know all the way you
- 28:32Speaker 1: know for a couple days before and um i live
- 28:35Speaker 1: in a really interesting community where i saw for new
- 28:38Speaker 1: year's eve my next door neighbors were lighting um fireworks
- 28:41Speaker 1: so i believe they'll be lighting their own fireworks for
- 28:44Speaker 1: this weekend as well so my daughter is um she's
- 28:48Speaker 1: in new york for the summer but she is coming
- 28:50Speaker 1: down um this weekend and to be with me and
- 28:54Speaker 1: to have 4th of July with me. So that'll be fun.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I hope my dogs are okay during the fireworks, but.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah. Have they ever like living, they're city dogs.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Have they ever had like, they've had noise and stuff,
- 29:05Speaker 2: but have they experienced fireworks?
- 29:07Speaker 1: My little one, I think has the, the new rescue
- 29:10Speaker 1: that I have. I don't know. I've never had her
- 29:13Speaker 1: around a loud sounds like that. So I'll be curious
- 29:16Speaker 1: to see how she does with that.
- 29:18Speaker 2: So are you like more of a hot dog person,
- 29:20Speaker 2: hamburger person or neither like a steak or a nice
- 29:24Speaker 2: piece of salmon on the grill?
- 29:26Speaker 1: I used to love salmon and steak and all that stuff.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I'm so into hot dogs and hamburgers now. Like I love.
- 29:33Speaker 2: No way.
- 29:33Speaker 1: So here's my hamburger that I love. I like putting tomato, pickles.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Um don't miss the USL championship final on CBS November
- 29:44Speaker 3: 21st at noon eastern will the Pittsburgh Riverhounds retain their
- 29:48Speaker 3: crown or will new title winners emerge don't miss the
- 29:52Speaker 3: conclusion to the 2026 season Saturday November 21st noon eastern
- 29:58Speaker 3: on CBS.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Potato salad on the hamburger on the hamburger.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Yes.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Cause it makes it like a little mayonnaise and I
- 30:05Speaker 1: don't like mayonnaise and then ketchup and then cut it
- 30:09Speaker 1: in quarters. So like the bites aren't too big. And
- 30:12Speaker 1: then with the meat, I have it very thin. I
- 30:14Speaker 1: don't do thick ones cause it's too embarrassing when you
- 30:17Speaker 1: eat it and your mouth's all open. And then I get,
- 30:19Speaker 1: and then the, the bread I like are the extra
- 30:23Speaker 1: large English muffins. To me, that's like the perfect hamburger. Interesting.
- 30:28Speaker 2: This is, did you just make this up on your own?
- 30:30Speaker 1: No, I bet that's how I've been eating hamburgers since
- 30:35Speaker 1: for like 25 years. I'm not kidding. I love my
- 30:37Speaker 1: hamburgers like that. Yeah. And then hot dogs I think
- 30:41Speaker 1: are great, but my favorite hot dogs are street hot
- 30:43Speaker 1: dogs in Manhattan, which people are like, Oh, those are rats. Um,
- 30:47Speaker 1: in the shape of hot dogs. They're so good. I
- 30:49Speaker 1: love them. I could eat them for every meal.
- 30:53Speaker 2: I love hot dogs. Um, I like, um, kosher hot dogs,
- 30:57Speaker 2: you know, like they're beefy and they're just, they're just
- 31:00Speaker 2: higher quality. Um, but I like them well done, like
- 31:04Speaker 2: almost burnt on the grill.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Oh, I don't like anything burnt. I don't like Cajun burnt.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I like a nice boiled hot dog. Uh, got it.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Hey, I'll break out the grill when I come. I'm
- 31:14Speaker 2: a really good cook and I will cook for you.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Oh, that'll be fun. Okay, cool.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Looking forward. Okay.
- 31:20Speaker 2: So, um, not feeling super patriotic this year. I'm, I'm guessing. Um,
- 31:24Speaker 2: So do they have okay in Iowa, it's super redneck.
- 31:28Speaker 2: We have these trucks these these fireworks trucks these big
- 31:33Speaker 2: old trucks you can go up and people just like
- 31:35Speaker 2: buy thousands of dollars worth of fireworks it's like a,
- 31:38Speaker 2: and it's a weird thing so yeah I know a
- 31:41Speaker 2: lot of people and they do like a big fireworks
- 31:43Speaker 2: display in their backyard it's kind of.
- 31:46Speaker 1: It sounds dangerous to me, but it is.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I know someone's going to blow off a hand. But OK,
- 31:52Speaker 2: let's talk a little bit about current events. One thing
- 31:54Speaker 2: I wanted to get to was Pete Davidson. So we
- 31:59Speaker 2: hear a lot about him in the news. And this
- 32:01Speaker 2: is very applicable to what we've talked about this week
- 32:04Speaker 2: and then what we just talked about with Vanessa on
- 32:06Speaker 2: the show. Pete Davidson just checked himself into rehab. didn't
- 32:11Speaker 2: really talk a lot about drugs or alcohol, but talked
- 32:14Speaker 2: about his battles with borderline personality disorder. And I have
- 32:21Speaker 2: a little bit of experience with that. I actually dated
- 32:23Speaker 2: someone once with borderline personality disorder, and it was like
- 32:27Speaker 2: a living hell. It was terrible.
- 32:30Speaker 1: What are the symptoms of that?
- 32:33Speaker 2: So someone who talks about this a lot is Dr.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Nadine Macaluso, who, who dated the real life or was
- 32:40Speaker 2: married to the real life Wolf of Wall Street.
- 32:41Speaker 1: She's become somewhat friendly with me.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:44Speaker 1: And we're trying to get her on the show.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:47Speaker 2: I follow her Instagram like crazy because she talks about
- 32:50Speaker 2: it so much.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Oh gosh.
- 32:51Speaker 2: So like, you know, we'll love bombing, love bombing. Um, but,
- 32:55Speaker 2: but also, well, total narcissism. There's a lot of parallels
- 32:59Speaker 2: with that. Um, just a lot of gaslighting and blame
- 33:03Speaker 2: and like, you'll do everything right. But then they'll come
- 33:06Speaker 2: back to you and say how bad it makes them
- 33:09Speaker 2: feel that like you are like good at this and that.
- 33:14Speaker 2: And like, you're probably just trying to make them feel
- 33:17Speaker 2: bad about themselves and stuff. That's what it was like
- 33:19Speaker 2: with my relationship. It was always like, I would do
- 33:23Speaker 2: everything I would do. That was great. They'd find a
- 33:25Speaker 2: way to turn it around and use it against me
- 33:27Speaker 2: and stuff like that. So I can only imagine. Pete
- 33:29Speaker 2: Davidson has this reputation. He's dated all the most beautiful
- 33:33Speaker 2: women in Hollywood, all these actresses, musicians. He's made the
- 33:38Speaker 2: rounds with the ladies, but the relationship, they seem very short-lived.
- 33:45Speaker 2: I bet he's a really fun person to date until
- 33:48Speaker 2: you get really into it. It's probably not all that
- 33:52Speaker 2: great so I wonder exactly.
- 33:54Speaker 1: He strikes me as being somebody who has a lot
- 33:56Speaker 1: of um addiction issues depression issues and when he gets
- 33:59Speaker 1: upset it probably affects everyone around him yeah um.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Yeah but he that's how it is yeah you.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Know I've never understood the whole thing with Pete Davidson
- 34:08Speaker 1: he looks a little messy to me he doesn't look
- 34:10Speaker 1: sophisticated he lives in oh you do get it he
- 34:13Speaker 1: lives like in the basement at his mom's house I
- 34:15Speaker 1: just I find all that very immature I like a
- 34:18Speaker 1: man in a suit who's like, you know, very like
- 34:23Speaker 1: rolling around, like, you know, like he runs everything and
- 34:27Speaker 1: intimidates people when he walks in the room and is
- 34:29Speaker 1: very smart. And I'm sure Pete is very smart and
- 34:31Speaker 1: funny and like, you know, sensitive and sweet. And, but
- 34:36Speaker 1: he also is way too skinny for me. And the
- 34:40Speaker 1: tattoos I know you love, I don't necessarily mind them
- 34:42Speaker 1: as much. I just think he's so scrawny and he needs.
- 34:46Speaker 2: He is. He is not like the traditional good looking guy,
- 34:50Speaker 2: but it's that sense of humor and that little bit
- 34:52Speaker 2: of like the bad boy side of him that that's
- 34:55Speaker 2: what always gets me. That's what always gets me.
- 34:58Speaker 1: He seems kind of like a dick though, as a
- 35:00Speaker 1: bad boy. He probably is. Yeah, there are bad boys
- 35:03Speaker 1: that are like bad and cool because they're bad boys.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Like James Bond or someone like that. To me, he's
- 35:11Speaker 1: just like a little bit of a.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. So I can imagine, I kind of, I
- 35:16Speaker 2: bet I would, I bet I can imagine what it
- 35:17Speaker 2: would be like to date Pete. But yeah, he's in
- 35:19Speaker 2: rehab now.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Well, we wish him the best, obviously. We do, definitely, definitely.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I'm not trying to like, mental health is... Yeah, he's
- 35:28Speaker 1: had a hard time growing up. He's made a name
- 35:32Speaker 1: for himself to spite that. So we wish him the best.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Madonna is in the hospital as well, which is sort
- 35:39Speaker 1: of not surprising, but I hope that she's okay. What
- 35:42Speaker 1: were they saying the reason for that was?
- 35:46Speaker 2: She collapsed. She was unresponsive. They found her, and apparently
- 35:51Speaker 2: it's a very severe bacterial infection of some sort. They're
- 35:54Speaker 2: being kind of vague about it, but she was in ICU.
- 35:58Speaker 2: She was actually intubated, which as we've found during COVID times,
- 36:03Speaker 2: when you're intubated, that's really, really serious. And there's a
- 36:07Speaker 2: good chance you might not make it out of that,
- 36:09Speaker 2: but she did make it out. She's, you know, they
- 36:12Speaker 2: say she's out of ICU, she's recovering and she expects
- 36:15Speaker 2: to make a full recovery, but Madonna, she has been
- 36:18Speaker 2: someone she's been kind of, okay. I don't want to
- 36:22Speaker 2: be mean or anything. Cause I love Madonna. I've always
- 36:24Speaker 2: been a huge Madonna fan. She's been kind of weird
- 36:27Speaker 2: the last few years, her look, her just like live
- 36:30Speaker 2: interviews she's done. I'm like, She's so, she's very, she's
- 36:34Speaker 2: been a little strange, I feel like.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really, it's odd. Like, I don't follow her anymore.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I used to be obsessed with her. Listen, I am,
- 36:42Speaker 1: I'm 48. I'm a girl of sort of the 80s,
- 36:46Speaker 1: where when I was 12, 13, 14, the biggest musicians
- 36:52Speaker 1: at the time are still, they still have iconic music.
- 36:55Speaker 1: So it was Michael Jackson, Madonna, Whitney Houston, George Michael.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I feel like those were like the big, really big stars.
- 37:06Speaker 1: I feel like I might be forgetting somebody, but at
- 37:08Speaker 1: the time that was like the end all be all
- 37:12Speaker 1: of music. And all of those people's music carries through.
- 37:15Speaker 1: But Madonna now puts out music or for a long
- 37:18Speaker 1: time has put out music that's like way over the top,
- 37:21Speaker 1: like really risque and raw or whatever she calls it.
- 37:24Speaker 1: And so I just have never liked her music. And
- 37:26Speaker 1: then I think her choice, her lifestyle choice is a
- 37:29Speaker 1: little different.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Odd.
- 37:31Speaker 1: I mean, doesn't she date guys that are like 21
- 37:32Speaker 1: or something?
- 37:33Speaker 2: She does that. But like, I thought she was a
- 37:36Speaker 2: lesbian now too. I thought something like that. I swear
- 37:39Speaker 2: I heard that she's like into women now. Maybe she
- 37:42Speaker 2: always was. I mean, she's always been in broadness and everything.
- 37:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:46Speaker 1: She was always like a very sexual, but anyways.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 37:49Speaker 1: So we wish her the best as well.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Yeah. And now like the other thing that's like big
- 37:54Speaker 2: this week that I'm super excited about, this is kind
- 37:56Speaker 2: of a friend of yours. You know, this guy, Ryan Seacrest,
- 37:59Speaker 2: he's got like 20 jobs, but he's taking on one more.
- 38:03Speaker 2: He's going to be the new host of Wheel of Fortune.
- 38:06Speaker 2: So that's super exciting. Yeah.
- 38:07Speaker 1: I mean, this guy just does not stop with his jobs.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I do know Ryan very well. And he's a great guy.
- 38:13Speaker 1: He Listen, when I first met him, I remember thinking
- 38:16Speaker 1: this is like the modern day Larry King. Like he
- 38:19Speaker 1: asks all the right questions. He's super smart. He's really personable. He,
- 38:25Speaker 1: you know, everyone wants to be around him. He really
- 38:27Speaker 1: is a great guy and he has a great family.
- 38:29Speaker 1: I really like him and I do wish him the best.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I wish they gave the job to Vanna White. That
- 38:35Speaker 1: would have been a cool.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Everybody's saying that.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Oh, are they saying that? Because I think that would
- 38:40Speaker 1: have been really cool for her. And he has enough money.
- 38:42Speaker 1: I mean, come on. but, and he has enough gigs.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Or like- They're saying that too.
- 38:46Speaker 1: It's either him or Mario Lopez, I feel like are
- 38:48Speaker 1: the two that go back and forth.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, there were some other contenders too. So Whoopi
- 38:54Speaker 2: Goldberg was vying for this role. So was Stephen A.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Smith. She has too much of an attitude.
- 38:59Speaker 3: I know.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I don't think she would have been good, but so
- 39:02Speaker 2: like Stephen Smith, Andy Cohen.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Who's Stephen Smith?
- 39:06Speaker 2: I don't know. Is it the singer? Yeah.
- 39:09Speaker 1: That's the only Stephen Smith. I mean, no, that's Sam Smith.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Sam Smith.
- 39:15Speaker 1: We don't know who Stephen Smith is, so he sucks. Sorry, Stephen.
- 39:18Speaker 2: I don't know who you are. But anyway, he was
- 39:21Speaker 2: a contender.
- 39:21Speaker 1: But yeah, Andy Cohen might have been interesting.
- 39:24Speaker 2: He would have been interesting. I think he he's a
- 39:26Speaker 2: little too little too like not risque, but he's involved
- 39:32Speaker 2: in some some stuff like on, you know, watch what
- 39:35Speaker 2: happens live.
- 39:35Speaker 1: And I think Anderson Cooper could have been fun.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Could have been fun. I love that they chose Ryan Seacrest.
- 39:43Speaker 2: And he's, yeah, a lot of people are like, I
- 39:45Speaker 2: wish you, you know, you should give someone else a chance.
- 39:47Speaker 2: You have all the jobs or whatever, but oh my God,
- 39:50Speaker 2: he's amazing. He's so successful. He's just such a sweetheart,
- 39:53Speaker 2: I think. And just, I think he's going to make
- 39:56Speaker 2: a great replacement for Pat Sajak, but Vanna White, who
- 39:59Speaker 2: knows though, maybe Vanna White didn't even want the job.
- 40:02Speaker 2: You know, I don't know.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Exactly. Hopefully she'll still be the one turning the letters
- 40:07Speaker 1: and She won't quit her job. Yeah. So I think
- 40:11Speaker 1: she needs to stick with the show. Otherwise it'll just
- 40:13Speaker 1: be like too overdone kind of.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:17Speaker 2: It's weird that it's going to be changing hands, but
- 40:19Speaker 2: I think Ryan's going to be great. Comes with a
- 40:21Speaker 2: $ 28 million paycheck too, which doesn't hurt.
- 40:25Speaker 1: So yeah.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Yeah. He's going to be the highest paid talent on TV.
- 40:29Speaker 2: I know. Did you date him?
- 40:31Speaker 1: Well, I'm not going to get into it.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Not get into that. All right.
- 40:34Speaker 1: So next week we talked about this a little bit.
- 40:36Speaker 1: We have Vanessa Reiser coming up, which will be, you know,
- 40:41Speaker 1: it's Louie's ex-fiance who talks about narcissistic abuse, who you
- 40:45Speaker 1: guys will all like.
- 40:46Speaker 3: And then.
- 40:47Speaker 1: We are going to do round two with David Yontef.
- 40:51Speaker 1: We had a really fun, interesting interview with him to
- 40:55Speaker 1: talk about more stuff in reality TV that was misunderstood
- 40:59Speaker 1: or that has to be reconsidered again because he's always
- 41:02Speaker 1: a fun interview. And then in the weeks coming up,
- 41:05Speaker 1: we have some really, really good guests that took us
- 41:09Speaker 1: a long time to get that we are really happy
- 41:12Speaker 1: to bring to you. So we'll go back to our
- 41:13Speaker 1: more serious guests programming after David's, you know, kind of
- 41:19Speaker 1: roundup of, of, uh, reality stuff, which I don't really
- 41:22Speaker 1: love talking about, but anyways, he he's, he's a great
- 41:25Speaker 1: guest and a good friend of mine. So I love
- 41:26Speaker 1: having him on.
- 41:27Speaker 2: We're going to be having dinner with him soon too.
- 41:29Speaker 2: We'll post some selfies.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Um, so guys, if you have any options, you have
