Studying the second part of 1 Corinthians 1, and the beginning of Chapter 2, we see clearly that the work of salvation and opening blind eyes to their need for salvation, forgiveness, and New Life is completely a work of Divine Intervention by the Holy Spirit. Human intervention is unnecessary as the words that the teacher communicates from the scriptures must be empowered and sent by the Holy Spirit. God uses mere mortals who are sinful to communicate a heavenly message of grace and mercy that brings people to understand their need for Jesus. It’s amazing how God alone does miraculous work…
