Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Over the past five years or so, we've
• 0:07
Speaker 1: heard a lot of talk from people like Prince Andrew,
• 0:11
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell, and certainly Sarah Ferguson about releasing an autobiography
• 0:16
Speaker 1: or a tell-all memoir that they say would set everything
• 0:20
Speaker 1: right when it comes to their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
• 0:24
Speaker 1: And wouldn't you know it, not a single one of
• 0:26
Speaker 1: them have ever produced the final product. But now, Sarah
• 0:31
Speaker 1: Ferguson is threatening once again to release an autobiography talking
• 0:36
Speaker 1: about her time as a royal and the Epstein scandal
• 0:40
Speaker 1: that she found herself embroiled in. Now, do I think
• 0:43
Speaker 1: that she'll go through with it? Maybe. We know she
• 0:47
Speaker 1: needs the money, right? So when you have somebody that's
• 0:50
Speaker 1: desperate and they're used to living a certain lifestyle and
• 0:53
Speaker 1: that lifestyle is taken from them, anything's possible. Especially when
• 0:57
Speaker 1: you're dealing with somebody like Fergie. Not exactly what I
• 1:00
Speaker 1: would call a loyalist, right? Well, unless you're talking about
• 1:03
Speaker 1: loyalty to oneself. But short of that, not exactly what
• 1:07
Speaker 1: I would call a loyal person. So today, we have
• 1:10
Speaker 1: an article from Radar Online and the headline. Sarah Ferguson
• 1:15
Speaker 1: planning memoir to tackle the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The author
• 1:20
Speaker 1: of this article is Aaron Tinney. Sarah Ferguson is said
• 1:25
Speaker 1: to be planning a potentially explosive new memoir titled, to
• 1:27
Speaker 1: confront questions over her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and attempt
• 1:31
Speaker 1: to rebuild her battered public reputation, sources have told RedHerOnline.com. Well,
• 1:38
Speaker 1: isn't that nice? Let me whip up a nice memoir
• 1:42
Speaker 1: to try and rebuild my reputation. Does she really think
• 1:45
Speaker 1: that people are going to forget what we saw in
• 1:47
Speaker 1: those emails? Or what we know about her relationship with
• 1:50
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein? Everybody's just going to retreat and be like, ah,
• 1:54
Speaker 1: you know what? She wrote this memoir. And she's telling
• 1:57
Speaker 1: us about the time she had tea with him. So
• 1:59
Speaker 1: it's all good now. That ship has sailed. And all
• 2:03
Speaker 1: these people that are coming forward now, they had plenty
• 2:06
Speaker 1: of time to do that in the past. And they
• 2:09
Speaker 1: chose not to. And that was certainly a choice, wasn't it? Well,
• 2:13
Speaker 1: now I'm making a choice. And that choice is not
• 2:17
Speaker 1: to have any sort of compassion or empathy for anybody
• 2:20
Speaker 1: that's outed as Epstein's friend. Because if you're still hiding
• 2:24
Speaker 1: things at this point, My guess is that you have
• 2:27
Speaker 1: something to hide. The former Duchess of York, 66, is
• 2:31
Speaker 1: understood to be considering seven-figure offers from U.S. publishers for
• 2:36
Speaker 1: another autobiography with a detailed chapter-by-chapter proposal said to have
• 2:40
Speaker 1: already been prepared. And look, maybe she'll write it, right?
• 2:45
Speaker 1: Do you think she'll be telling the truth? Do you
• 2:47
Speaker 1: think she's going to be honest with everybody about her
• 2:50
Speaker 1: time with Epstein? Or do you think she's going to
• 2:52
Speaker 1: try and sugarcoat it again to make herself look like
• 2:55
Speaker 1: the victim? So you see, when it comes to people
• 2:58
Speaker 1: like Sarah Ferguson, I just don't trust anything they have
• 3:01
Speaker 1: to say. And that's because over the years, they have
• 3:05
Speaker 1: proven themselves to not be trustworthy. The potential book comes
• 3:11
Speaker 1: after renewed scrutiny of Ferguson's association with convicted predator Epstein
• 3:16
Speaker 1: and the financial upheaval following her departure from Royal Lodge
• 3:21
Speaker 1: with her former husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, 66. It's all about
• 3:26
Speaker 1: the fazools, right? And these people are accustomed to living
• 3:29
Speaker 1: a certain way, a certain lifestyle, doing certain things. And
• 3:33
Speaker 1: when they can't do that anymore, it becomes a big problem.
• 3:37
Speaker 1: So for somebody like Sarah Ferguson, she doesn't care about
• 3:40
Speaker 1: airing out her dirty laundry. We're talking about a woman
• 3:43
Speaker 1: who had pictures taken with her feet in some dude's mouth,
• 3:47
Speaker 1: and that dude wasn't her husband. So we're not talking
• 3:49
Speaker 1: about somebody who's modest here, are we? The publishing source
• 3:54
Speaker 1: claimed that Sarah recognizes that huge unanswered questions are hanging
• 3:58
Speaker 1: over her public image, particularly surrounding Epstein and a memoir
• 4:02
Speaker 1: would allow her to provide her own account rather than
• 4:05
Speaker 1: continually have people define that period of her life. Yo,
• 4:09
Speaker 1: I have a really good idea. Now try and stick
• 4:11
Speaker 1: with me. It's pretty complex. If you don't hang out
• 4:14
Speaker 1: with people like Epstein, you have nothing to apologize about.
• 4:18
Speaker 1: Thanks for coming to my TED Talk. This wouldn't simply
• 4:21
Speaker 1: be a nostalgic royal autobiography. Publishers are interested because Sarah's
• 4:26
Speaker 1: lived through an extraordinary collapse in her circumstances. And there's
• 4:30
Speaker 1: potentially a remarkable story about how somebody once at the
• 4:33
Speaker 1: heart of the monarchy ended up where she is today.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: This woman just doesn't know when the grift is over.
• 4:40
Speaker 1: For people like this, the grift never dies. How can
• 4:44
Speaker 1: I milk this one more time? How can I profit
• 4:46
Speaker 1: from this one more time? How can I get rich
• 4:49
Speaker 1: off of other people's sufferings? The Insider added, The Epstein
• 4:56
Speaker 1: issue is obviously unavoidable. Any credible book would have to
• 4:59
Speaker 1: address why she remained in contact with him, the financial
• 5:02
Speaker 1: help she sought, and how she now views those decisions.
• 5:06
Speaker 1: She knows readers would expect candor rather than an attempt
• 5:09
Speaker 1: to skate around the difficult material. Well, I have my
• 5:12
Speaker 1: doubts that we'd get candor from her anyway. And frankly,
• 5:17
Speaker 1: I have no desire to read a book written by Fergie.
• 5:20
Speaker 1: I find her to be one of the least interesting
• 5:22
Speaker 1: people in this whole entire saga. But what it does
• 5:25
Speaker 1: is it connects Epstein and Andrew in another intimate way.
• 5:30
Speaker 1: And when you have all those ties that bind, it's
• 5:32
Speaker 1: very difficult to tell people that you didn't know what
• 5:35
Speaker 1: he was doing, or what he was up to, or
• 5:38
Speaker 1: what a monster he was. Because nobody believes that. There's
• 5:43
Speaker 1: also a significant financial incentive. Sarah has experienced well-documented money problems,
• 5:49
Speaker 1: and the sums being discussed could provide considerable security while
• 5:53
Speaker 1: allowing her to relaunch herself independently. And there it is.
• 5:57
Speaker 1: All about the money. All about the grift. How can
• 6:00
Speaker 1: I turn this into something that's profitable for me? The
• 6:03
Speaker 1: pain and suffering of somebody else? Profitable for me. And
• 6:07
Speaker 1: that's been the Sarah Ferguson model for how long with Epstein?
• 6:11
Speaker 1: How long is she going to milk this? She remains
• 6:16
Speaker 1: characteristically optimistic. She believes that if she explains herself fully,
• 6:20
Speaker 1: people may distinguish her mistakes and poor judgment from criminal wrongdoing,
• 6:24
Speaker 1: of which she has not been accused, and reconsider their
• 6:26
Speaker 1: view of her. It's not about being criminally responsible. It's
• 6:30
Speaker 1: about being morally reprehensible. And that might be okay for
• 6:35
Speaker 1: some people. Some people might not give a fuck. But
• 6:38
Speaker 1: the vast majority of people who read those emails saw
• 6:40
Speaker 1: your relationship with Epstein and were completely turned off. And
• 6:45
Speaker 1: if you think some autobiography is going to fix that,
• 6:48
Speaker 1: her team has made a drastic miscalculation. The U.S. Justice
• 6:53
Speaker 1: Department documents released under the Epstein File Transparency Act brought
• 6:56
Speaker 1: Ferguson's relationship with Epstein back under scrutiny earlier this year,
• 7:01
Speaker 1: including correspondence appearing to show that she sought his help
• 7:05
Speaker 1: with financial problems. Ferguson has previously expressed regret over her
• 7:10
Speaker 1: association with the predator. Her former husband, Andrew, is meanwhile
• 7:15
Speaker 1: still under investigation after being arrested in February on suspicion
• 7:19
Speaker 1: of misconduct in public office. He was released under investigation
• 7:23
Speaker 1: and denies wrongdoing. And speaking of him denying wrongdoing, and
• 7:28
Speaker 1: imagine the kind of hubris you must have to claim
• 7:32
Speaker 1: that it wasn't you, that you weren't even in that picture.
• 7:35
Speaker 1: I mean, the audacity of it all. And the fact
• 7:37
Speaker 1: that anybody would run with that scenario, that the picture
• 7:40
Speaker 1: with him, Glenn Maxwell, and Virginia is fake, is absolutely bizarre.
• 7:46
Speaker 1: And anybody who ran with that scenario just can't be trusted.
• 7:49
Speaker 1: They have no kind of discernment And they have no
• 7:52
Speaker 1: idea what they're talking about. Because it was obvious from
• 7:55
Speaker 1: the very beginning that that picture was real. But Prince Andrew,
• 7:59
Speaker 1: that was his biggest defense, right? Wasn't me in the picture.
• 8:02
Speaker 1: You can't prove it's me. Well, yeah, we actually can.
• 8:06
Speaker 1: And it was proven to be you. Ferguson's proposed memoir
• 8:10
Speaker 1: could also address her dramatic change in circumstance after she
• 8:13
Speaker 1: and Andrew left Royal Lodge. Windsor and several companies associated
• 8:17
Speaker 1: with her were reported to be winding down. Well, what
• 8:20
Speaker 1: do you know? Nobody wants to be associated with Jeffrey
• 8:23
Speaker 1: Epstein's buddies. She spent part of her summer overseas before
• 8:27
Speaker 1: returning to Britain, where she was reported to have found
• 8:29
Speaker 1: a new gated home in the home counties. The timing
• 8:33
Speaker 1: could prove sensitive for the royal family. Who cares? Frankly,
• 8:38
Speaker 1: who gives a shit about the royal family? Enough is
• 8:41
Speaker 1: enough already. Charles Spencer, 62, has just published Swansong Diana
• 8:48
Speaker 1: My Sister. his memoir about his late sister Diana, Princess
• 8:51
Speaker 1: of Wales, which has generated headlines over its account of
• 8:54
Speaker 1: her life and relationship with King Charles III. And look,
• 8:58
Speaker 1: not really my thing. I don't really care about the royals,
• 9:01
Speaker 1: and I never really had any interest in Princess Diana.
• 9:04
Speaker 1: But certainly damning. And not good for the royal family.
• 9:09
Speaker 1: Ferguson is already an experienced author. She published her first autobiography,
• 9:14
Speaker 1: My Story, in 1996, and another memoir, Finding Sarah, in 2011.
• 9:20
Speaker 1: Ferguson also created Budgie the Little Helicopter children's books, which
• 9:24
Speaker 1: were adapted into an animated television series. Must be nice
• 9:28
Speaker 1: to have all that pull, huh? So all the people
• 9:31
Speaker 1: out there working on projects, working on cartoons, whatever it
• 9:35
Speaker 1: might be, lose out to Sarah Ferguson and Budgie the
• 9:40
Speaker 1: Little Helicopter? Why? Because she's a former royal? Sources close
• 9:45
Speaker 1: to the ex-duchess have acknowledged that publishing approaches have been received,
• 9:49
Speaker 1: but say direct negotiations have not yet taken place. They
• 9:53
Speaker 1: have also insisted Ferguson is not seeking to produce a conventional,
• 9:57
Speaker 1: royal tell-all attacking members of her family. In other words,
• 10:01
Speaker 1: it's just going to be another grift, right? She'll touch
• 10:04
Speaker 1: on the Epstein stuff, try and make up some excuse,
• 10:08
Speaker 1: hoping that people just take her word for it and
• 10:10
Speaker 1: don't explore the emails for themselves. Because I don't think
• 10:14
Speaker 1: you can look at those emails that were sent between
• 10:16
Speaker 1: Sarah Ferguson and Jeffrey Epstein and and come away thinking
• 10:20
Speaker 1: that there was some misunderstanding. In fact, when you read
• 10:23
Speaker 1: those emails, it's quite obvious that Sarah Ferguson has never
• 10:26
Speaker 1: been honest about her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. And I
• 10:30
Speaker 1: certainly have my doubts that she'd be honest in this
• 10:32
Speaker 1: silly-ass autobiography either. But like usual, we'll keep an eye
• 10:36
Speaker 1: on it, and once we have some more about Sarah
• 10:39
Speaker 1: Ferguson and a potential autobiography, we'll get it added to
• 10:42
Speaker 1: the catalog. All the information that goes with this episode
• 10:45
Speaker 1: can be found in the description box.
