A tragic crash at a busy Kansas intersection claimed the life of 82-year-old Richard Whybark after his Toyota Corolla was struck by a Peterbilt semi truck. The collision occurred when Whybark attempted a left turn onto U-54; the semi, traveling west, hit the car and overturned. Whybark, who was buckled up, died from his injuries.
