0:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but
0:28
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I've had this conversation recently, especially with Jay.
0:34
[SPEAKER_03]: For girls of everything going on around us.
0:38
[SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot.
0:42
[SPEAKER_03]: There's something every literally every single day.
0:45
[SPEAKER_03]: What was it this week?
0:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that was the deal.
0:49
[SPEAKER_03]: The big ugly shitty bill, big shit bill.
0:58
[SPEAKER_03]: It's just important to, it's important to just make, make moments with the people that you consider, people that you love and just make moments.
1:10
[SPEAKER_03]: I guess today, we had a great fucking day together.
1:13
[SPEAKER_03]: Me, Jay, my daughter, we went to, we had hot pot for the first, well, I had hot pot for the first time.
1:23
[SPEAKER_03]: And then we went to Santa Monica.
1:24
[SPEAKER_03]: It was just lovely day, bro.
1:25
[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, you couldn't have, what's the hot pot?
1:28
[SPEAKER_03]: So you know, okay, so you know what Korean barbecue is, right?
1:31
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
1:32
[SPEAKER_03]: So imagine that, but, and like, oh, those are the wings you had posted?
1:38
[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, like, no, let me those out of the house.
1:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Hot pot is just basically like you're, it's like soup.
1:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Like you're, you go somewhere.
1:46
[SPEAKER_03]: You make it like your own soup.
1:47
[SPEAKER_03]: Like you pick a different, different broths and then you add, pick what you want to put in the broths.
1:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Really?
1:55
[SPEAKER_03]: Really good.
1:57
[SPEAKER_03]: Probably like in Sarah was like, oh, do we really want to have hot pot like it's summertime, but like what we went anywhere we had when it was it was delicious.
2:06
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so Just make fucking moments man.
2:10
[SPEAKER_03]: Just make fucking moments with people with your people just so we can do so we really can do I Know using the in the pool this weekend pull baby
2:23
[SPEAKER_03]: We don't know how much time we fucking have for it, bro.
2:25
[SPEAKER_03]: Please, please fucking have fucking time.
2:27
[SPEAKER_03]: Some enjoy me.
2:29
[SPEAKER_00]: Enjoy it.
2:29
[SPEAKER_03]: Enjoy it while we fucking can.
2:31
[SPEAKER_03]: That's all we can do.
2:33
[SPEAKER_03]: Also before so this the premise of this episode really is it's a Q&A so Saints Q&A the majority of our questions at least starting off our people in our discord our patrons ask a whole bunch of questions if there's still time left over we can maybe get some questions from the chat for people who are in the chat in YouTube they have questions but we're going to prioritize the ones from our Patreon in our discord
3:04
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, like, I really would have a conversation with my uncle, just like... Well, every time you every time you retweet, send me that a rabbit hole, because that's all clickin'.
3:21
[SPEAKER_03]: There's no way he understands how he retweet work.
3:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Or you know like, you know, uh, something for the time like.
3:30
[SPEAKER_01]: No, there's no way.
3:31
[SPEAKER_01]: There's no way in hell, bruh.
3:33
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just just scrolling.
3:35
[SPEAKER_00]: It just been scrolling.
3:38
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
3:41
[SPEAKER_00]: And now look at my course, but it's on my time.
3:43
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my uncle.
3:51
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, look in this one.
3:52
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, that thing.
3:58
[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, I thought to my angle, bro.
4:02
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a piece of something to help.
4:05
[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe I wonder if he's trying to like, favor it or star it.
4:11
[SPEAKER_03]: And then he retweeted instead.
4:14
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, bro.
4:16
[SPEAKER_03]: No, no.
4:18
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but we're like in the dead as of the dead of the football off season.
4:24
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, or what, uh, twenty, twenty something, twenty one inch days away from being, uh, from training camps, starting back for the Saints.
4:35
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and we'll pick up as things get closer just as a whole.
4:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but we wanted this to be.
4:43
[SPEAKER_03]: Q&A, just do some Q&A for questions.
4:46
[SPEAKER_03]: So let me pull them up and start.
4:48
[SPEAKER_03]: The first question was really good.
4:50
[SPEAKER_03]: I actually had, like, think about it.
4:52
[SPEAKER_03]: It's from our dude Alberto, uh, if I'm not looking at the camera a lot during this episode, it's actually a little bit over here.
5:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
5:02
[SPEAKER_03]: If you could trade for one player right now to make the team instantly better.
5:11
[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe potentially he would add a win to your earlier season predictions.
5:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Does it matter what position?
5:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Who would it be?
5:20
[SPEAKER_03]: And what would you give someone who's also kind of realistic to get?
5:25
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a variable, Sam.
5:28
[SPEAKER_03]: You're realistic.
5:32
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even add a win.
5:33
[SPEAKER_05]: I had to think about this one.
5:43
[SPEAKER_03]: I came up with, I came up with two, I went, I went office and defense, and I came up with two.
5:50
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, good.
5:53
[SPEAKER_03]: So defensively, I came up with a player that the Saints who actually had a chance to draft this player in year, in year, in year, but they actually,
6:09
[SPEAKER_03]: opted to draft Trevor pinning instead.
6:11
[SPEAKER_03]: And we, and our mock drafts that year were like shocked and took him and our mock draft to remain Johnson on the jets coming back from over.
6:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Kate coming back from injury.
6:26
[SPEAKER_03]: He's his career with the jets have kind of been up and down, but before he got hurt last season, our last season, the season before he had, you know,
6:35
[SPEAKER_03]: Good player, like he's not great, but was approaching like maybe double to disack.
6:40
[SPEAKER_03]: I would have to look it up, actually look it up, but just a good young pastor, sure.
6:46
[SPEAKER_03]: He is coming off an injury.
6:50
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the kind of the caveat, but I think putting him on the team, you would have chation, you would have big creep,
6:59
[SPEAKER_03]: cam Jordan, but I think he fits into this thing that Brandon Stanley wants to do because he could, he could, he could rush the passer from standing up.
7:09
[SPEAKER_03]: And I would, I would, the trick you think with him is the trade compensation.
7:13
[SPEAKER_03]: I would offer the just like a fourth for Jimmy, because I don't, I mean, I don't know how much he's in the jet's future going forward.
7:22
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a pastor.
7:23
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's my defensive player.
7:24
[SPEAKER_03]: My offensive player was outpierced from the coach.
7:31
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not exactly what the same thing because he's not that consistent change mover.
7:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Chain mover.
7:40
[SPEAKER_03]: He is more of kind of like the big play threat guy like twenty twenty yards down the field like big chunks, but he is that that bigger body receiver.
7:50
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he's someone that could
7:53
[SPEAKER_03]: still kind of complete the receiver room of being a bigger bigger body of what they could add and kind of that same thing.
8:00
[SPEAKER_03]: I can see like if they had Alec Pierce, he could win like a game from them like he's going off crazy.
8:09
[SPEAKER_03]: for like one game, where's like, oh my god, how did Pierce has like six catches, a hundred and whatever, like one game, and that one, he ends up winning the game.
8:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Same trade compensation, give up a fourth, think he's on his probably probably on his last last year for his deal because he was drafted later in the, like, yes.
8:24
[SPEAKER_03]: So those, those were about two.
8:28
[SPEAKER_01]: I like that with man.
8:30
[SPEAKER_01]: I got two, I give off his and one is,
8:35
[SPEAKER_01]: said your tailman of the browns.
8:39
[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's also in his last year.
8:42
[SPEAKER_01]: Is he?
8:42
[SPEAKER_01]: No, he was just recently drafted.
8:45
[SPEAKER_04]: He ain't.
8:45
[SPEAKER_03]: No, no.
8:46
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, bro.
8:47
[SPEAKER_04]: I want to say.
8:51
[SPEAKER_03]: Hold on.
8:51
[SPEAKER_03]: I got to look it up.
8:53
[SPEAKER_03]: He was drafted.
9:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Let me twenty three.
9:02
[SPEAKER_01]: So he's in his third goal to his third year.
9:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, he's, I liked him a lot as a prospect.
9:09
[SPEAKER_01]: He hasn't been, you know, extremely productive with the Browns, but he's been like, you know, okay, Sean flashes.
9:16
[SPEAKER_01]: They've had other problems.
9:17
[SPEAKER_01]: I absolutely put the offense, but I just, I just, just somebody I would, you know, just kind of, hey,
9:24
[SPEAKER_01]: What wrong pick they're wrong pick?
9:25
[SPEAKER_01]: He might since he's a young player, they might want a little, you know, a little more compensation form.
9:34
[SPEAKER_01]: But that was just to be somebody.
9:35
[SPEAKER_01]: I would definitely want to focus on somebody young.
9:37
[SPEAKER_01]: He's big body, you know, somebody that's young that could be in the future.
9:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Another similar yours, the defensive side, jail of Phillips with Miami, kind of the same position.
9:49
[SPEAKER_01]: But he's been injured, you know, injured at the time.
9:51
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't play four games last year.
9:53
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, just when he plays, he looks good, but just hadn't had the career yet that they wanted.
10:01
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so similar to you with Jermaine Johnson, you know, off or forth.
10:05
[SPEAKER_01]: The offense.
10:05
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they don't.
10:06
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I have no idea what they're doing his own season.
10:08
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:09
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:11
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:12
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:14
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:15
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:16
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:17
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:19
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:20
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:22
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:24
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:26
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:27
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:28
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they're doing his own season.
10:30
[SPEAKER_01]: But that's somebody I look at, you know, I think those if you if you did like I wouldn't want them to do like a crazy move.
10:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Give it up like multiple first round picks off first in a second, you know, just to like when some games this year, but they could be like a move because day two, day three move to get a young player.
10:48
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, that obviously if he's on a trade block, he's going to have some board to the injuries on.
10:54
[SPEAKER_01]: production is something, but somebody that has that potential that can turn into like a long term answer just like we did with Ville McGregor Day, Jeremy Shacky, you know, move like that, that complete dividends down the roll man, happy what's up.
11:10
[SPEAKER_03]: It's funny because Jalen Phillips was on my list, on my list as well.
11:18
[SPEAKER_03]: This team can't, there's no way in the tell this team could trade a first, bro.
11:22
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, hell, and this, this team, no way.
11:25
[SPEAKER_01]: Ain't no way.
11:26
[SPEAKER_03]: No way.
11:27
[SPEAKER_03]: No way.
11:28
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you could, potentially have the number one overall pick.
11:32
[SPEAKER_03]: At least picking top three ain't no way in hell, bro.
11:35
[SPEAKER_03]: Ain't no way.
11:36
[SPEAKER_03]: Young kidder says, if this season goes bad, the way it's probably expected to go, what's the most likely change I'll think will happen to this team coach and staff for front office.
11:49
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's a tough one because that one has layers.
11:52
[SPEAKER_03]: I would say the most likely just off the top of my head because it was being, it's been set up for a while when they brought in Dave Ziggler.
12:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Because Mickey was setting up, setting up him to be the fall man is that they won't, you know, just if I wouldn't take to be the fall guy like that to me.
12:10
[SPEAKER_03]: That makes a hundred percent sense.
12:13
[SPEAKER_03]: a hundred percent because also like if you unless you're like in the Saints Manusha like unless you listen to like hotcast like ours and things like this like how many people really like people really don't know like the two thousand twenty but two thousand twenty three draft class like making them as many most of the strappics people like oh japan is like the the same straff guy so like it's like people don't really know so if people don't know then it's really easy to kind of put
12:43
[SPEAKER_03]: the blame on Jeff Irland not to say that Jeff Irland has not had his hands dirty and blood on his hands and some some bad drop classes and his tenure here because he absolutely has but that to me would be like the easy easy scapegoat to put the blame on is putting the blame on Jeff Irland and and making him the fall guy making him the best guy easy bro to to the point where I would predict if they win
13:12
[SPEAKER_01]: five on less games this year.
13:14
[SPEAKER_01]: I think I think I'm going for it.
13:19
[SPEAKER_01]: Just for them to be like, hey, look, you know, we got to improve, we got to make some changes and he'll be that fall guy, you know, go tell Gail.
13:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I don't know what these jackpicks, you know, especially if like if this class doesn't turn out well, like it's a random girl, shut, don't really look like the future or whatever.
13:43
[SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna be put on our own.
13:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Brother that I then I will be trying week.
13:47
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm trying to get Ireland on the podcast immediately, bro.
13:49
[SPEAKER_03]: Please.
13:50
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yo, truth.
13:51
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yo, you're so deaf.
13:52
[SPEAKER_03]: You could talk about the holes and everything, bro.
13:54
[SPEAKER_03]: Talk about it.
13:56
[SPEAKER_03]: Talk about the prostitutes.
13:57
[SPEAKER_03]: Don't let it out.
13:59
[SPEAKER_03]: You got a place right here.
14:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Don't let them do you like that, Jeff.
14:04
[SPEAKER_03]: You're true, bro.
14:06
[SPEAKER_03]: Tell your true.
14:07
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, let's see.
14:11
[SPEAKER_03]: Neil Ardu, Neil said, what are those chances this team can stop the run?
14:14
[SPEAKER_03]: Will the opponents just be able to run at will on this defense?
14:20
[SPEAKER_03]: As as much resources that they have put into, I would hope fucking not.
14:27
[SPEAKER_01]: I would hope.
14:30
[SPEAKER_01]: If the defense can't do anything this year,
14:33
[SPEAKER_01]: It should be better in stopping the run.
14:35
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying they're going to be, you know, two thousand raven stopping the run.
14:38
[SPEAKER_01]: But like they should last year they were harmful.
14:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Like they were absolutely God awful at stopping the run.
14:45
[SPEAKER_01]: To the point where it's like anybody to run on a blind.
14:48
[SPEAKER_01]: And if I don't care what's running back.
14:50
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm talking about Williams, if to Paul Williams, Swiss teams, ladies, you got on another team.
14:55
[SPEAKER_01]: He put up a hundred yards against them.
14:57
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care who it was.
14:59
[SPEAKER_01]: So they just got to be better.
15:01
[SPEAKER_01]: And they've invested, like, from the front to the back, they've invested resources, whether that's got to all brought in, take a love with you, drafted a, you know, stuntman and linebacker, uh, brought in Justin Reed, brought in Justin Reed, who, you know, who was great at, you know, coverage all filled in the gap, he drafted Sanker, like, got up, I mean, they should be better.
15:28
[SPEAKER_03]: which is, and they should, but it's crazy cause like, and this is where, to me, the evolution of Brandon Staley really has to show up because in LA, here where I live, when he had Calil Mac, when he had Joy Bosa, when he had Darren James, one of the biggest works of that LA Charger's defense, they didn't stop the run well at all.
15:57
[SPEAKER_03]: They didn't.
15:58
[SPEAKER_03]: So it got to be better.
16:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I don't know.
16:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I've been watching or reading up quite a bit on that that Arizona Cardinals defense.
16:12
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, did you realize that out of the, like, they finished like in the top fifteen or something defensively, bro?
16:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Really?
16:18
[SPEAKER_03]: That cardinal defense, bro.
16:20
[SPEAKER_03]: like that is that is like a sweat equity difference to like to the extreme to the extreme search bug defense for like shot out Patrick Claybock like who are these guys like who
16:35
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the type of coaching brand in Staley is going to need to do this for this thing to be successful.
16:43
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, and we're all like our predictions they're going to win five six games.
16:46
[SPEAKER_03]: If they if they're going to eclipse that, like, you know, obviously that the semini at the offense, the
16:53
[SPEAKER_03]: whoever's far enough quarterback that means that they're playing well or at decent level and that's looking good but that means that the defense has to match it and they're going to have to be somewhere like a but like playing above their heads like
17:08
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a must.
17:08
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I want to see.
17:09
[SPEAKER_01]: I know the, I don't, I don't know that.
17:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I don't expect anybody to have double digits and then like that.
17:15
[SPEAKER_01]: But just show me that sweat equity show me rallying to the ball tackling well.
17:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you do those things in the defense, don't make constantly mistakes.
17:24
[SPEAKER_01]: Don't blow coverage.
17:25
[SPEAKER_01]: If you just do those things that are within your control.
17:29
[SPEAKER_01]: your defense should be at least okay.
17:31
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
17:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Just fine, you know what I'm saying?
17:33
[SPEAKER_01]: But if you start doing all kind of funky stuff, blowing coverages, you can't tackle, you can't stop the run.
17:38
[SPEAKER_01]: So we're done.
17:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, Valky.
17:42
[SPEAKER_03]: I hope I don't pronounce that correctly.
17:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Or we're got four asked, what is the position group you think could surprise in a good way?
17:50
[SPEAKER_03]: And one that you could and one that could surprise in a bad way.
17:55
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
17:59
[SPEAKER_03]: I want to, okay, so I know we've, we've harped on the corner backs a lot.
18:07
[SPEAKER_03]: But what if, what if, who late takes a step?
18:13
[SPEAKER_03]: And he's like a good decent starting corner back.
18:19
[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe along the lines of like a debo or, you know, in that vein, Jack Rathett type of corner back, right?
18:29
[SPEAKER_03]: And what if Quincy Riley or Quincy Riley comes in and just is playing well as a rookie, like just, just he comes in like, oh damn, like he doesn't really know this, you know, that fucking, that drop pick.
18:46
[SPEAKER_03]: And maybe the quarterback room is just a lot better than we think.
18:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Is it likely?
18:55
[SPEAKER_03]: probably not.
18:56
[SPEAKER_03]: But like what if like that's that's that that's the hope and expectation.
19:01
[SPEAKER_03]: The one that can surprise in a bad way is what if all this this draft capital is online.
19:09
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not worried about Fuwaga.
19:17
[SPEAKER_03]: But still a young player.
19:19
[SPEAKER_03]: He's still in play or he is.
19:20
[SPEAKER_03]: But Calvin Banks is still like, he's a wicked left tackle.
19:24
[SPEAKER_03]: And like that, that is just a worry.
19:28
[SPEAKER_03]: And then Trevor painting in still like, it's a, it's an assumption that he's like, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a, it's in a
19:40
[SPEAKER_03]: It might work.
19:43
[SPEAKER_03]: It could be awful.
19:44
[SPEAKER_03]: And he's playing next to a rookie.
19:47
[SPEAKER_03]: And Eric McCoy has had tons of injury issues, tons of injury issues, the last couple of seasons.
19:54
[SPEAKER_03]: Like the office of line could not be great.
19:58
[SPEAKER_03]: And if it's not great, then they're right back to where they were last season.
20:03
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's either with Rattler or with Chuck.
20:07
[SPEAKER_03]: And if it's with Chuck, and we see how he is with the office,
20:12
[SPEAKER_01]: that like, that's the number one for me as far as that could surprise it a better way because one of the only units going into this season that you expect to be better is the offensive line.
20:25
[SPEAKER_01]: Just because of what they're investing, how much they focus on it.
20:29
[SPEAKER_01]: You expect it to be better.
20:30
[SPEAKER_01]: So it could, it can bear well, not be good.
20:35
[SPEAKER_01]: It could bear well, not be good.
20:37
[SPEAKER_01]: I hope not, but like that will be the most disappointing.
20:40
[SPEAKER_01]: And I agree with you on the corner back.
20:43
[SPEAKER_01]: want to quarterback group.
20:44
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they have the ability to surprise a lot of people and just be like a good.
20:48
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good feisty.
20:49
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm second there.
20:50
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
20:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Would it be, you know, the freaking Seahawks needs in a boom.
20:56
[SPEAKER_01]: No, but like, it's a nice little feisty young second there.
20:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
21:00
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm here.
21:01
[SPEAKER_03]: I think also I think what if like the receivers just stayed like healthy?
21:06
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, because they helped.
21:07
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my God.
21:09
[SPEAKER_03]: Amazing.
21:10
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think like I'm like I'm thinking like relatively healthy like if they miss like I think she he don't only play like six games like she has like damn he missed that much time.
21:19
[SPEAKER_01]: He's yeah, he played damn.
21:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yes So yeah, if they get a full season off the heat and a full season out of a lobby that alone and then you throw a brain of cooks in the middle of it, you know like Oh my god huge like huge
21:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so these, okay, so we've got some good ones.
21:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Niel said, do you think that Kendra will make it through training camp without missing any time?
21:47
[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely not.
21:49
[SPEAKER_01]: You wait.
21:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Why would I bet on that?
21:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
21:54
[SPEAKER_03]: I could, I could know.
21:56
[SPEAKER_01]: We know.
21:56
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll own it, bro.
21:58
[SPEAKER_03]: No.
21:59
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, somebody's questions from Brian.
22:01
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to even, but this one is going to go.
22:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, right.
22:03
[SPEAKER_03]: I've got to go.
22:05
[SPEAKER_03]: You can't be at today.
22:07
[SPEAKER_03]: Would you rather random, closed game luck and win nine games?
22:16
[SPEAKER_03]: So like, like, win nine games, but like most of it's kind of due to luck or lose a bunch, but you have some young guys who show real promise.
22:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, give me the young guy shows promise.
22:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
22:30
[SPEAKER_01]: He's easily.
22:31
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, because in me, that's more that's more your building.
22:37
[SPEAKER_03]: Something like that's more Detroit lion.
22:40
[SPEAKER_03]: Ask.
22:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
22:43
[SPEAKER_03]: Because if you are random when you win nine games, but like there's no real talent there, you're just lucky.
22:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Perfect.
22:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Because any perfect example is what?
22:53
[SPEAKER_01]: Twenty, twenty, twenty three season.
22:55
[SPEAKER_01]: Remember to finish.
22:58
[SPEAKER_01]: They finish like five and four, I'll be five and one in the last couple of games.
23:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Except against the Rams, beat a bunch of bad teams.
23:06
[SPEAKER_01]: That's all you saw written about all of season.
23:08
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they finished five and one.
23:10
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, I don't know.
23:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Something to build off of going in the next season, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
23:15
[SPEAKER_01]: None of that shit there.
23:16
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want him there.
23:17
[SPEAKER_03]: And then, and then, if they went nine games and Mickey Luma's has jobs to cure.
23:22
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no.
23:23
[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no.
23:28
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I do call if you had to bet on one young guy currently.
23:32
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god.
23:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh the roster who you would bet to be a Hall of Famer.
23:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Splash top player in the lead.
23:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Hall of Famer or top player in the lead.
23:47
[SPEAKER_03]: Top player in the lead.
23:52
[SPEAKER_01]: Top player in the lead.
23:57
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, his prison lobby is still considered a young player.
24:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I would say so.
24:03
[SPEAKER_01]: I would consider a lobby has a chance to be like, I'm not a whole family, but like a top player.
24:07
[SPEAKER_01]: I could see him being like a, you know, one of those time, all pro.
24:16
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, a couple pro balls, you know, even though I've never seen banks play it, but I think he has the talent to do that.
24:26
[SPEAKER_01]: It's funny, all of it's on offense.
24:31
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't take a one defensive player, even now.
24:35
[SPEAKER_01]: How do you even be like a top player in the league?
24:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, sure, maybe when some of the young guys may be, but... No, none of them.
24:43
[SPEAKER_01]: No, bro.
24:44
[SPEAKER_03]: No, bro.
24:47
[SPEAKER_03]: This is okay, so I know he was joking when he said it.
24:51
[SPEAKER_03]: D.I.
24:53
[SPEAKER_03]: D.I.
24:55
[SPEAKER_03]: Devon, how many wins would this team have with Patrick Holmes?
25:05
[SPEAKER_03]: This group of rivalry versus this office, everyone.
25:07
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it's the same coaching every day, but just plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop, plop,
25:17
[SPEAKER_01]: I think he would double the win.
25:22
[SPEAKER_01]: He would double the win.
25:23
[SPEAKER_01]: The win total for his team.
25:25
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
25:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Just being him.
25:28
[SPEAKER_01]: Which is to like, that goes.
25:29
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll show you why I walk one of the banks and pick all the money.
25:32
[SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.
25:32
[SPEAKER_03]: That's crazy.
25:34
[SPEAKER_03]: Crazy.
25:35
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, yes.
25:36
[SPEAKER_03]: And then like I can see like like him getting like going on a heater and like in the seat playoffs too.
25:41
[SPEAKER_03]: With machine.
25:43
[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of people are loving.
25:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Come here.
25:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I can also see him on a key third-dale bro.
25:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Throw it a duck to do on that.
25:55
[SPEAKER_04]: Just don't think I'm going to be shot.
25:58
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, he'd be on my right.
26:00
[SPEAKER_04]: I can just throw it right to you.
26:07
[SPEAKER_04]: I can just drop.
26:08
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
26:09
[SPEAKER_04]: Not Patrick's problem.
26:15
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, if holy.
26:18
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, Brock said.
26:21
[SPEAKER_03]: Had how bad would it have to get for killing to be one and done.
26:25
[SPEAKER_03]: Ooh.
26:29
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, like, one or two wins, I would say.
26:31
[SPEAKER_01]: I think like one win, like, yeah, one win.
26:34
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
26:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Like bad and like team melting down.
26:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you mean in a locker room, get blown out week after week.
26:49
[SPEAKER_01]: It would have to be really bad because I don't know how long it's contract for, but I'm sure it's like a four to five year contract and I know how it paid.
26:57
[SPEAKER_01]: He can come money, too.
26:58
[SPEAKER_01]: He ain't no, he ain't no, he ain't no, one, two, three million a year, like, didn't know how he getting it.
27:03
[SPEAKER_01]: More no.
27:05
[SPEAKER_01]: So, like, that's guaranteed money, you know what I'm saying?
27:14
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't even just see the scenario like it would it would really have to be terrible because if because if you're in my a terrible way, you know what I'm saying like if he's out to me that would be like make it like it would be like make it would have to be bad like would likely be gone to like that That's how bad it would I But I wouldn't want to what's that on Kevin?
27:35
[SPEAKER_03]: No, like that yeah, yeah, because that I see that bad like
27:39
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a tough, that's a terrible season to endure as a fan base too.
27:44
[SPEAKER_03]: One win or zero wins?
27:46
[SPEAKER_03]: One win?
27:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Two wins?
27:49
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I don't.
27:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Um... Anderson said... Wait, would you rather give up eye contact or all drinks except water?
28:06
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, for sure, all drinks.
28:09
[SPEAKER_03]: I would rather give up, like, so wait.
28:11
[SPEAKER_03]: I contact like, so I'd be blind or all my drinks would be water.
28:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Bro, I would just drink a shit ton of water.
28:18
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I don't, like, probably sounds incisive of people who are blind, but like.
28:25
[SPEAKER_01]: So I got a B blind.
28:27
[SPEAKER_01]: I need a kimono.
28:31
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to, like, brighten up and give them a bite.
28:36
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't say like looking at people's eyes.
28:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, the questions.
28:40
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
28:41
[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, these questions go a little, a little crazy.
28:46
[SPEAKER_03]: Brock asks, if you what, what if you remember it was your milk awakening?
28:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, let's add a question for so.
28:56
[SPEAKER_03]: For sure.
29:00
[SPEAKER_03]: By true what, like so.
29:05
[SPEAKER_03]: TJ from step-by-step.
29:13
[SPEAKER_03]: And the sequel of Alice Mac was like my TV local awakening for sure.
29:26
[SPEAKER_03]: Jordan has to go one.
29:28
[SPEAKER_03]: If the Saints ended up being sold in moving cities, would you remain a fan of the team?
29:33
[SPEAKER_03]: And if not, which team would you become a fan of?
29:36
[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely not.
29:38
[SPEAKER_03]: Would not be so.
29:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Would not be a fan of the team.
29:41
[SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't, I wouldn't do the new team.
29:42
[SPEAKER_03]: I would be like NFL, like, agnostic, bro.
29:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, nice to get there.
29:47
[SPEAKER_01]: I, you know, roots for the Ravens one year.
29:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Lions another year.
29:52
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but I do be done with it.
29:56
[SPEAKER_01]: It would be, it would be bliss, honestly.
30:00
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'd be hurt by it.
30:02
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be seeing the same thing.
30:03
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
30:05
[SPEAKER_01]: That would, that would honestly crush me.
30:07
[SPEAKER_01]: For different, not because of, like, that is much less of my fandom, because I still have the memories and information on this stuff.
30:14
[SPEAKER_01]: But just, you know, knowing a lot of saints all connected to the city.
30:18
[SPEAKER_01]: That would, that would piss me off.
30:21
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we've been there.
30:22
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, we've been close to it with Katrina.
30:25
[SPEAKER_01]: And they discussed moving the city.
30:27
[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, I was almost done then.
30:28
[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, man, the fact that I was even talking about that.
30:31
[SPEAKER_01]: But doing it now, like when the city is like, been looped, like, I was pissed, but then they drafted Reggie Busboy.
30:38
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, back, back, back.
30:45
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that would be, it would be truly devastating for the city.
30:48
[SPEAKER_03]: And no, we got to worry about that.
30:50
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you got to worry about that.
30:51
[SPEAKER_03]: For now.
30:55
[SPEAKER_03]: Other Jordan asked, and this is on that I've been thinking about for a while.
30:59
[SPEAKER_03]: Why are my people?
31:01
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm guessing you mean white people.
31:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Also not just white people, but majority white people.
31:05
[SPEAKER_03]: Choosing sauces over kissing instead of just learning to season their food.
31:13
[SPEAKER_03]: So I think the deeper I've been putting my psych my psych degree
31:21
[SPEAKER_03]: on when thinking about this.
31:22
[SPEAKER_03]: I think the deeper meaning of this, when I've been thinking about this, is I think as a society, a lot like what it's this technology, it's the younger generation, is that we have society have veered a lot further away from intimacy, that
31:49
[SPEAKER_02]: It's more socially okay with people to be okay when not having intimacy.
32:00
[SPEAKER_03]: Because like a kiss is like kissing, like giving so many, so many more things, right?
32:13
[SPEAKER_03]: I thought about it like what if Kiss like to meet has meant to me like in my lap time.
32:18
[SPEAKER_03]: Like the kiss to me has given me like closure at my mom's funeral.
32:21
[SPEAKER_03]: I remember kissing my daughter when she was when she was born.
32:27
[SPEAKER_03]: I remember like my first like my first kiss and like amazing kisses I've had like throughout my lifetime.
32:35
[SPEAKER_03]: Like
32:37
[SPEAKER_03]: All that to me has been like those are memorable experiences that I wouldn't trade for anything, like truly like for anything.
32:46
[SPEAKER_03]: So I think as younger generations in society, there's become like this disconnect where it's become more socially okay to let go of that.
33:02
[SPEAKER_03]: Because there's also there's a lack of
33:06
[SPEAKER_03]: This become a lack of connection, right?
33:08
[SPEAKER_03]: We don't there's there's there's no physical connection physical connection people don't like People don't like they text messages people don't even like calling on the phone.
33:15
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you don't like calling on the phone So if you think about that.
33:18
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, don't don't don't call me just just send me a text me send a text.
33:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it all the time So if people are okay doing that then of course people okay are gonna be okay choosing
33:31
[SPEAKER_03]: giving away a kiss over a sauce.
33:34
[SPEAKER_03]: So again, my brain is really thought about this, like on a deeper level.
33:39
[SPEAKER_03]: So it makes a lot of sense when you really, really think about it.
33:44
[SPEAKER_03]: So for me, it's not even something like, it's not debatable.
33:51
[SPEAKER_03]: To me, it's like, kiss, it makes us, it brings us together and it makes us like,
33:59
[SPEAKER_03]: human and it keeps like our intimacy not even in a sexual way just it brings us like together and so many people are okay like being isolated so they're okay and being in like their own like so that's anyway, I'm not gonna go off on my little own while I'm a little tangent about it.
34:18
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a good theory, bro Especially like the younger generation like Gen Z is like Gen Z you're the one if I can guess like that's really
34:31
[SPEAKER_03]: But what's something I do find very interesting and not all, but it's very, very interesting how most, in the very little research I've done on this, most black people are pro-kistan, most, as opposed to other races.
34:51
[SPEAKER_03]: I found that very interesting.
34:57
[SPEAKER_03]: I do bizarre, as how many players are we away from being a conference championship contender?
35:02
[SPEAKER_03]: We're fifteen, twenty, fifty, three.
35:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Look, honestly, it's crazy.
35:13
[SPEAKER_01]: It's bad as bad as the Saints are, but I do think it doesn't take that many.
35:19
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think six or seven, like
35:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Cause like, I think the same roster has a, it's just a lot of middle class, like a lot of average, you know what I'm saying?
35:31
[SPEAKER_01]: But most of the time.
35:33
[SPEAKER_03]: We just talked about, like, what a passion of homies on this team.
35:36
[SPEAKER_03]: It goes to five, five, six wins to like, like, a, like, a little bit.
35:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Ten and eleven here.
35:41
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, most teams are a lot of average, but they have, like, even even a parent, like, I talked about it on the park as a goal.
35:49
[SPEAKER_01]: We had, like, a top five, the top ten player at every position group, only a couple of years ago.
35:55
[SPEAKER_01]: you know, A.K.A.
35:56
[SPEAKER_01]: at his prime, Rampchek, to Ryan Onsted, the Mario in his prime, Marshall on Laddermore, Marcus Williams, Michael Times, you know what I'm saying?
36:07
[SPEAKER_01]: And just those players being so good, it just raises the tide of, for like everybody else.
36:14
[SPEAKER_01]: And just the States just don't have any, like, players at their level where you're dying to go.
36:17
[SPEAKER_01]: So they got like, like a, like a top five, where I receive it, you know what I'm saying?
36:22
[SPEAKER_01]: and then the top five won't fit the tackle and you know a top five pass rush and a top five safety or something like that and a quarter bank is obviously the things they almost have a top five then we'll get a top five safety but Brian Brandt was right there but you get a top ten quarter bank
36:45
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a tough scene quarterback with this roster, like gives you like two to three extra wins.
36:51
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
36:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
36:52
[SPEAKER_01]: For sure.
36:52
[SPEAKER_01]: So like if you spread that across the roster, that it'll be.
36:56
[SPEAKER_01]: So they need, like obviously, they need a huge, amazing, another amazing draft for two to really knock that out the park and coaching it.
37:06
[SPEAKER_03]: It also, man, I'm fascinated to see how this draft class plays out because they drafted non-players.
37:15
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry.
37:17
[SPEAKER_03]: Like a question I have is like out of those nine that they drafted how many of those nine are going to be?
37:23
[SPEAKER_03]: How many of the nine that they drafted are going to be green on my on my spreadsheet?
37:27
[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good one.
37:29
[SPEAKER_01]: In three years.
37:29
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say the in three years.
37:32
[SPEAKER_01]: Green the back at this draft.
37:33
[SPEAKER_01]: How many will be green?
37:38
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll say I'll say three.
37:40
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll say three.
37:44
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna say four.
37:46
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna say four four out of nine.
37:49
[SPEAKER_01]: That's about even fifty percent.
37:53
[SPEAKER_03]: But like I say I'll say I'm gonna just this is just me guessing.
37:58
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna go banks.
38:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Riley.
38:05
[SPEAKER_05]: And shanker.
38:07
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it banks rather than sanker and I threw it on.
38:13
[SPEAKER_01]: bring somebody else, if we got them already.
38:16
[SPEAKER_01]: Think I too kneel there.
38:19
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not trippin' all that little workout video.
38:21
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not trippin' all that little workout video, I'm not
38:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Even if we had jelly mirror, it would be awesome to predict the... Oh, I get that.
38:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Read it with jelly mirror, you know what I'm saying?
38:55
[SPEAKER_03]: But it's not as just killing more saucers or kisses.
38:59
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, he got like bored kids, though.
39:00
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
39:01
[SPEAKER_03]: He- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he- he-
39:18
[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm.
39:22
[SPEAKER_03]: I want to say, I want to say these pro kisses.
39:24
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I agree.
39:27
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, and then this is the go into without saying we will see.
39:30
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know or show me what does your gut think about kind of more at will.
39:35
[SPEAKER_03]: What does your gut think about what kind of more will as a coach positive or negative?
39:43
[SPEAKER_03]: I think schematically, I think the team will be
39:49
[SPEAKER_03]: prepared on Sunday, schematically.
39:54
[SPEAKER_03]: Like in terms of like he's going to be up, he's going to be prepared about the defense about what they're going to see.
39:58
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I think like game like call, I think he'll call a good game.
40:05
[SPEAKER_03]: I think the thing that worries me about him about the coach is the inter office shenanigans and politicking.
40:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Navigating Mickey Loomus and head coach back bone in the standing up.
40:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's all you got.
40:21
[SPEAKER_01]: That's your real right there.
40:22
[SPEAKER_01]: It's been only read off from the job.
40:25
[SPEAKER_01]: That's interesting.
40:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think that's a good one.
40:29
[SPEAKER_01]: I like I think I think I put this in the discord recently.
40:33
[SPEAKER_01]: I could see him at least early having a mic medial type.
40:39
[SPEAKER_01]: type, or with the same.
40:41
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
40:42
[SPEAKER_01]: Where I think the offense, you're gonna see his input on the offense is like impact on the offense.
40:49
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think you're gonna see like that promise, like, okay, just do the coaching out here.
40:54
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think I worry that is just gonna be a little finesse.
41:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Like the team is gonna be doing a finesse.
41:03
[SPEAKER_01]: It's very schemy.
41:04
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
41:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Very scheme oriented, but not so much.
41:08
[SPEAKER_01]: I hate to use the word toughness.
41:10
[SPEAKER_01]: That gets used a lot when people talk about the Miami dolphins right now.
41:14
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's not, not so much toughness, but sometimes you just got to line up and beat dudes up.
41:19
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
41:20
[SPEAKER_01]: It football.
41:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Like every night, you just got to dominate your appointment.
41:24
[SPEAKER_01]: And I just, I don't know, I just, I just, I go back to my mind.
41:27
[SPEAKER_01]: I could see at least early, his team's playing out like that.
41:32
[SPEAKER_01]: It looks on Peyton head, you know, times after he seems to get like that.
41:37
[SPEAKER_01]: And you got, you got to learn from it.
41:38
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, did the later states, when in seventeen eighteen nineteen, that was like, yeah, like, teams that are going and whoop on people, you know what I'm saying?
41:48
[SPEAKER_01]: But, but it took a while for him to get there.
41:53
[SPEAKER_03]: Tony, which is to think coach not telling other coordinators are most interested in and which one has the toughest job this year.
42:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Um... Brennan, Newjet?
42:08
[SPEAKER_03]: I think... I think he's a loyal... Oh, well coach.
42:13
[SPEAKER_03]: I think that's his name.
42:16
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I'd say that's his name.
42:20
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Brennan, Newjet.
42:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Because like... To me it all, yeah, he's off his mind coach.
42:27
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, the old one got to work, bro.
42:29
[SPEAKER_03]: That's him.
42:31
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my God, work.
42:33
[SPEAKER_03]: Like he's his job is he's essentially coaching a rookie left tackle and he's helping coach a player who started his career at left tackle, move the right tackle, nice plan left guard.
42:49
[SPEAKER_03]: And like they don't they don't have a back up plan for Penny like this.
42:53
[SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
42:55
[SPEAKER_01]: That's to me is the work we would do with Penny is like
43:03
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's like a master's thesis, whatever.
43:05
[SPEAKER_01]: Like the work you're doing with pinning, bro.
43:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you could save, you can literally save pinning's career this year with the working we do there.
43:13
[SPEAKER_01]: If you could just pinning to be an average to above average guard, like you literally saved the guy's career.
43:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Cause after this, it's like, it's no man's life.
43:23
[SPEAKER_01]: It's your last chance.
43:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I would go and Scott tells me in the quarterback coach, not to go on.
43:29
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's kind of obvious, but like if he, he has to prepare two young quarterbacks to play Seventeen games, man, like up.
43:37
[SPEAKER_01]: And he, how they handle this competition.
43:40
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember who I listened to recently, but they aren't really any more quarterback competitions, because it's just not built into the all season to have those, you know what I'm saying?
43:51
[SPEAKER_01]: So you're gonna have to make a decision without all the information, because you just can't get all the information you need.
43:58
[SPEAKER_01]: to make that decision.
43:59
[SPEAKER_01]: So you're going to have to kind of project.
44:01
[SPEAKER_01]: And you've got to manage all the other stuff, the general manager want him to play the egos and stuff like that.
44:09
[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to manage all that.
44:10
[SPEAKER_01]: And you've got to players, the players know who they want.
44:14
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
44:15
[SPEAKER_01]: They know who they feel confident in seeing start.
44:17
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
44:19
[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to manage that too.
44:21
[SPEAKER_01]: So even though that won't all be, that's going to be killer decision.
44:25
[SPEAKER_01]: I think Scott told him he's going to spend the most time with the quarterbacks getting the prepared.
44:29
[SPEAKER_01]: He's played in the league, you know, Spencer and Chuket talk highly of them.
44:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll listen to him talking.
44:35
[SPEAKER_01]: He's, you know, he's impressive.
44:37
[SPEAKER_01]: So just getting in prepare bro, like that's going to be like a huge job.
44:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Him and look man, like quarterback coach is the path to be in a hate coach because you go from quarterback coach to call the offensive mentally and then from there you're going to be in a hate coach.
44:50
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a huge that's a huge job.
44:53
[SPEAKER_03]: huge.
44:56
[SPEAKER_01]: And we see in this league, like if you showed that you could develop quarterbacks, bro, they will grab you so quick.
45:04
[SPEAKER_01]: It don't get fuck quick, bro.
45:07
[SPEAKER_01]: Quick.
45:10
[SPEAKER_03]: Wayne, what are the things you need to see from this team to the player this season, a success regarding regardless of record?
45:21
[SPEAKER_03]: fight and them being competitive.
45:23
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I always go to school back to that first year of the Detroit Lions under Dan Campbell, where that team competed no matter who the opponent was.
45:37
[SPEAKER_03]: And their talent level was not great, but they were in games or closing games that they had no business being in.
45:46
[SPEAKER_03]: once some games that they had no business winning.
45:48
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, almost beat some teams.
45:49
[SPEAKER_03]: They had no business almost being some teams.
45:52
[SPEAKER_03]: And obviously like I don't know if
45:55
[SPEAKER_03]: this team can emulate that.
45:58
[SPEAKER_03]: But when you watched that Detroit team, we've talked about this at Nazim on this podcast, you saw it.
46:06
[SPEAKER_03]: It's just an eye test.
46:07
[SPEAKER_03]: It's just an eye test when you watch the games, it's like, all these dudes are fighting.
46:12
[SPEAKER_03]: All these dudes are like, oh, okay, they came to play.
46:15
[SPEAKER_03]: Now does that mean that they're going to go out and
46:20
[SPEAKER_03]: win every Sunday doesn't necessarily mean that, but are they out there fighting or are they out there competing out there out there fighting like fighting for the coaching that's like it feel like they have like the legitimate chance not every Sunday but like most Sundays that's what I want to see like if I can do that
46:37
[SPEAKER_03]: then you got something.
46:38
[SPEAKER_03]: So I think that's the huge part.
46:40
[SPEAKER_03]: That's the huge part.
46:41
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the huge part.
46:43
[SPEAKER_01]: Just to show me something.
46:44
[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen Sean Payton take teams with Jason Hill at quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater, James Winston, even Trevor Simian.
46:56
[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't win any games, but they win every game with Trevor Simian.
47:01
[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to go out there and feel like
47:05
[SPEAKER_01]: We got a chance.
47:06
[SPEAKER_01]: Because when Dennis Allen with their car, whatever, when we've gone faced the Rams, we was gone faced any team with a slightly decent record or they're slightly good.
47:17
[SPEAKER_01]: They're truly out of chance.
47:19
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, no, it's going to be like no chance at all.
47:22
[SPEAKER_01]: So if Kevin more can show me this team.
47:25
[SPEAKER_01]: has fight chance week to week.
47:27
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't care how the, you know, the record plays out, but just they got a fight in chance.
47:32
[SPEAKER_01]: He's, you know, he's getting the most out of young players.
47:35
[SPEAKER_01]: He's making small decisions on game day.
47:37
[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling a good game.
47:39
[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling a good offense.
47:40
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'll let you to see, bro.
47:42
[SPEAKER_03]: Does it?
47:44
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, bunch asks, well, this is this thing beating Arizona week one.
47:50
[SPEAKER_03]: You said yes.
47:51
[SPEAKER_03]: I said, yeah.
47:53
[SPEAKER_03]: I said no.
47:57
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll give it a little breath.
47:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Positive vibes.
48:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Chris said, if this team somehow starts to win two or better, we'll make you no Mickey Maker trade and and for what position.
48:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, we just earlier gave you all two trades.
48:16
[SPEAKER_01]: We like to see make up.
48:19
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you make a move like that, but if they start at two and two, I know it's trickle thing to compete, but he start off to drop.
48:26
[SPEAKER_01]: You can add it to this raster.
48:30
[SPEAKER_01]: Itching.
48:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Itching.
48:31
[SPEAKER_01]: I can see it.
48:32
[SPEAKER_03]: I can see it, bro.
48:36
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we gave you like four players, and I could see any of those four.
48:43
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's see, our dude Adam, ooh, what does the AK need to do to get into the pro, pro football hall of fame?
48:57
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, you know that run Christian McCaffrey had the year the Niners went to Super Bowl.
49:04
[SPEAKER_03]: He needs to have two years like that back to back to maybe get in the conversation like this year next year.
49:10
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, to maybe get in the conversation.
49:13
[SPEAKER_03]: So probably not very likely.
49:16
[SPEAKER_01]: No, not like, but yeah, he would need like close to two thousand.
49:23
[SPEAKER_01]: complete yards like catching and rushing two to three years straight.
49:28
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
49:28
[SPEAKER_01]: Like he needs to.
49:29
[SPEAKER_01]: He needs to have better seasons than he said already, which is as some great seasons.
49:34
[SPEAKER_01]: But he has to need to have like, he needs to outdo what he's already done.
49:38
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
49:39
[SPEAKER_01]: Great play, but you know, it's the running bank running bags in the Hall of Fame bro.
49:43
[SPEAKER_01]: Boys is hard, bro.
49:44
[SPEAKER_01]: Like hard.
49:46
[SPEAKER_01]: It is hard to get up in there.
49:49
[SPEAKER_03]: If you had to stand on business, pick a year in the future where the Saints start to ascend back into being able to realistically contain force of the bull.
50:00
[SPEAKER_03]: What year would you pick?
50:01
[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, we can't see the future, but in the NFL, you can get lucky to do a few things and it doesn't take long.
50:06
[SPEAKER_03]: Adam said his guess is two thousand thirty at the earliest.
50:09
[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't see it happening in the Kellen regime more because of Mickey than because of Kellen.
50:16
[SPEAKER_03]: I think it would be have to be a new GM and heck, heck coach combo.
50:23
[SPEAKER_02]: I really agree with that.
50:24
[SPEAKER_03]: It's tough man.
50:29
[SPEAKER_01]: It's tough.
50:29
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I see at the earliest, I give him twenty, twenty, eight, twenty, twenty, nine.
50:37
[SPEAKER_01]: At the earliest, this like,
50:40
[SPEAKER_01]: Like the most optimistic possible, like three, three years or three to four years away, you know what I'm saying?
50:46
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's if everything works.
50:48
[SPEAKER_01]: Everything, everything, everything.
50:52
[SPEAKER_03]: All right, I think we are almost to the water back and change quick, though, like, you know, like a, like a, like a, like a they finish with the record and they're picking top three in the draft next year and they draft the quarterback next year and that quarterback is like the dude, burn all changes, bro.
51:10
[SPEAKER_03]: quick all check with me look at a Texans Texans look at the the commanders man is big is obvious all changes are do Scotty asked how does the field to see the growth of the podcast from then to now it's that's wild
51:39
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's, it's, it's wild because if you, I mean, everyone knows a story or most people do like, they know that when we did, did our first episode in, twenty, twenty, it was, it's supposed to be one off and then like enough people start listening or enough people open that one up and they're like, okay, it would do like a little limited series, like a limited, you know, couple episodes.
51:59
[SPEAKER_03]: And so it, it didn't start off to be what it became, um,
52:06
[SPEAKER_03]: And then us going on YouTube last year, you know, I've helped with the growth in a different way.
52:16
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, because we were in a tricky audio for like the longest time.
52:20
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's been very grateful, I would say, very grateful, very appreciative to grow the way we have.
52:32
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's been a journey.
52:35
[SPEAKER_03]: So we're just very appreciative of all y'all, honestly, where we come from, where we are now, all these five plus years.
52:45
[SPEAKER_03]: We put a lot into it.
52:52
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a lot, it's a lot that goes into it.
52:55
[SPEAKER_03]: Now it's a little, it's a little calm right now.
52:58
[SPEAKER_03]: Honestly, this is probably the calmness, it's going to get, because it's, it's so kind of dead in the NFL, but you know, it's training camp kicks up, and especially once the season gets going, you know, when we get up and run in once, like once the season kicks up, it's, it's full force, but we're very, very proud of.
53:18
[SPEAKER_03]: of everything, very, very proud, and very appreciative of what we've built over the years.
53:26
[SPEAKER_03]: We just hear, we hear French stories all the time of people be like, oh, like I went somewhere, and it's still a little surreal for us like here that someone is like listening and consuming our content and stuff like that.
53:45
[SPEAKER_03]: So, very grateful.
53:49
[SPEAKER_01]: very grateful, bro.
53:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I told my wife, plenty of times, it's like, sometimes this is one of the like few real positive things that got going in my life, depending where I'm in my life, you know what I'm saying?
54:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's the one thing I could look to and say, I really feel good about that.
54:05
[SPEAKER_01]: And honestly, the thing I least expected was the community.
54:09
[SPEAKER_01]: Like when we started this, I didn't envision that, what's wrong?
54:12
[SPEAKER_01]: I just wanted to, you know,
54:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Get a poppin' little podcast, but like the meetups we have, the discord community we have, the brotherhood and sisterhood we build with people, just the friendships.
54:26
[SPEAKER_01]: I had no expectation anything like that.
54:29
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's blown me away, bro, like, completely like life changing, man.
54:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Like to have people in your life that you call friends, that you could
54:37
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, look to and you know, talk to and have relationships with like it makes your life better, you know, saying, and that's the thing I'm most proud of the most outside the numbers and popularity and all that stuff.
54:51
[SPEAKER_01]: Also,
54:53
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, doing this for five plus years, it's been real growth.
55:00
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm proud that it's been real growth.
55:03
[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't blow up off one episode or one viral clip and nothing like that.
55:07
[SPEAKER_01]: It's been just us grinding every week, putting out the episodes, no matter what, no matter what the numbers are, just constantly pushing.
55:16
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm proud that our growth is like,
55:19
[SPEAKER_01]: Not four days.
55:20
[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's very organic.
55:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Very organic.
55:22
[SPEAKER_01]: I guess people that actually listen to us, you know what I'm saying?
55:27
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, definitely.
55:29
[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, I think that's pretty much most of the questions.
55:34
[SPEAKER_03]: I think we have one in the chat and then we will.
55:44
[SPEAKER_05]: If I get to it, if I get to it, if I get to it,
55:52
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, this is my favorite part of the podcast where I do a terrible audio podcast and because right now I'm trying to scroll and find the question on YouTube.
56:03
[SPEAKER_03]: Nope, can't find it.
56:04
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh well.
56:05
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, here it is.
56:08
[SPEAKER_03]: Mr. Callio, do y'all think we're waiting for the first round of cuts to sign a big body receiver?
56:13
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that's what they're doing.
56:15
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, they brought in Gabe Davis for a visit.
56:18
[SPEAKER_03]: I know they've had
56:19
[SPEAKER_03]: very small conversations with Keenan Allen, almost like two months ago.
56:24
[SPEAKER_03]: No, if someone gets cut that's unexpected and they like that person as a player, then
56:33
[SPEAKER_03]: they might go after them, but I don't think that's their, I mean, they're not waiting because obviously like another team could also sign that player, like they're like, so they're not like the only team that's that would have an eye.
56:49
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's not, that's not their plan.
56:51
[SPEAKER_03]: And also that, if it was their plan, that would be a, that's just terrible team building, like, oh, there's just wait, like, no.
56:58
[SPEAKER_03]: So no, that's not just their plan.
57:01
[SPEAKER_03]: But no, that was it quick, not a quick, but a pretty good Saints Q and A. We answered.
57:10
[SPEAKER_03]: And there are quite a few questions regarding the Saints.
57:12
[SPEAKER_03]: We still have what we got in twenty plus days for training camp picks up start.
57:17
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a little weird that only opening nine days of training camp to the public.
57:25
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, for the same say, yes, it's not weird because they've come to expect that for them now.
57:30
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I guess so.
57:32
[SPEAKER_01]: What would happen to the black and gold scrimmages and all middle all those?
57:37
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, I do.
57:38
[SPEAKER_03]: But at least I can report.
57:39
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I've said that the first
57:49
[SPEAKER_03]: It's pre-season game where they take on the chargers.
57:52
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be there.
57:53
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, J will be there.
57:57
