  - will renew their strength.

  - Well, let's start the conversation

  - by just being honest
• 0:46
  - and meaning that sometimes we know what we

  - want.

  - We just don't understand why God hasn't allowed

  - it yet,
• 0:54
  - and that's probably a good thing, right, Because

  - if God gave us everything we wanted, it
• 0:59
  - would probably be to our demise.

  - I mean, the opportunity
• 1:03
  - looks right.
• 1:05
  - The timing looks right.

  - Come on, God. We're ready.

  - Or at least we think we are.

  - Are. And yet the answer seems to be

  - wait,

  - which is much better than no in some
• 1:18
  - instances. Although no is a full sentence

  - and is beneficial as well.

  - But waiting can feel like rejection.

  - What's important to remember though

  - is a delay isn't always a denial.

  - Sometimes God is preparing our circumstances.

  - Sometimes he's preparing
• 1:41
  - other people,
• 1:43
  - and sometimes
• 1:45
  - he's preparing us.

  - So instead of fighting the waiting season,

  - try inviting God into it.

  - If there's something you want me to

  - see or father if you're trying to develop

  - something in me,

  - we don't want

  - to miss

  - it.

  - And that changes

  - from passive frustration

  - into spiritual preparation.

  - Remember, God is always focused

  - on our character.

  - So take

  - Just because he doesn't answer, doesn't mean he's

  - Dear Lord, give us patience

  - Keep us from confusing delay with rejection.
