SPEAKER_06: This is the else of coach show.
0:29
SPEAKER_02: Oh, hey, hi.
0:31
SPEAKER_02: How are you, Clay?
0:35
SPEAKER_02: I know you are.
0:36
SPEAKER_02: I'm pretending like I don't know that.
0:38
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, oh, what's up?
0:39
SPEAKER_02: Something something new that I don't know about?
0:42
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no.
0:42
SPEAKER_02: Listen, y'all, you better stay tuned for the rest of this show.
0:46
SPEAKER_02: Clay is fired up.
0:47
SPEAKER_02: But you're not gonna have to wait too long to hear about what it is, though.
0:52
SPEAKER_02: We're not we're not those guys that keep teasing you the whole show about this big thing that's gonna happen and then wait till the very end after like 20 commercials and nonsense and stuff and things to make you wait.
1:04
SPEAKER_02: Nope.
1:05
SPEAKER_02: You got like basically a half a topic to get through because I feel like this is gonna come out pretty quick.
1:13
SPEAKER_02: Oh my goodness.
1:15
SPEAKER_02: Well, listen, guys, we uh we hope that you are all doing well.
1:19
SPEAKER_02: We hope you've had a nice, restful, uh, joyful, happy, peaceful week that you are not in need of recovering from St.
1:28
SPEAKER_02: Patrick's Day, y'all.
1:31
SPEAKER_04: Uh did you go to I did not so Chicago as and listen, I I don't know if I was ever actually in attendance in high school on St.
1:41
SPEAKER_04: Patrick's Day because I was always at the Southside Parade.
1:45
SPEAKER_04: Chicago used to hold the parades or at least one of the parades on St.
1:49
SPEAKER_04: Patrick's Day.
1:50
SPEAKER_04: Um, but they've since moved them all to the weekend before after this year was the weekend before.
1:55
SPEAKER_05: Right.
1:56
SPEAKER_04: They did all the normal Chicago things, they dyed the river green, right?
2:00
SPEAKER_04: And and and all that.
2:01
SPEAKER_04: The thing that killed me is that all over social media, and I I'm sure it's not just Chicago, but um do you know what a Borg is?
2:11
SPEAKER_02: Oh, it's some kind of drink that they have like in these milk gallon jugs, right?
2:17
SPEAKER_04: Kids take a gallon of water and then they you know they either pour some off or drink it or whatever, and then they put alcohol in it, and it's like it borg is like black outrage gallon or something like that, right?
2:32
SPEAKER_04: There were clips and clips and clips and clips of people walking around the city of Chicago with these gallons of alcohol, right?
2:42
SPEAKER_04: And the cops literally are just walking up to people and taking them, and yeah, they're like dumping.
2:47
SPEAKER_02: I did see a video of them dumping it down the grates, right?
2:49
SPEAKER_04: You're gonna be some drunk rats, like yeah, they're pouring it out, right?
2:53
SPEAKER_04: Whatever, and then they turn like the camera turns, and you just see piles and piles and piles of these things, but like when did people become so like we used to hide drinking in public, right?
3:08
SPEAKER_04: It was illegal open alcohol on the street.
3:11
SPEAKER_04: People just don't care now.
3:13
SPEAKER_02: They don't care, they don't care, kids.
3:16
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like you know, listen, we used to put peppermint schnapps in in um shamrock shakes, like that was St.
3:22
SPEAKER_04: Patrick's Day.
3:23
SPEAKER_04: Um brilliant, right?
3:25
SPEAKER_04: It hides it, hides the smell all right, right?
3:28
SPEAKER_04: These kids don't care, they're literally water up this gallon jug of alcohol and they just don't get it.
3:34
SPEAKER_04: It was crazy.
3:35
SPEAKER_04: No, I did not go downtown.
3:37
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, I um, you know, I honestly, as we're talking, I'm thinking, like, have I ever in my adult life ever been to a St.
3:45
SPEAKER_02: Patrick's Day parade?
3:46
SPEAKER_02: The answer is no.
3:47
SPEAKER_02: The answer is no, and because I don't like parades, I don't like like I have a strong, it's right up there with clowns.
3:54
SPEAKER_02: I have a I have a deep aversion.
3:55
SPEAKER_02: It's so cliche, like, oh, everybody has a thing about clowns.
3:59
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, I do too.
4:00
SPEAKER_02: Clowns, clowns and balloons, if anybody cares.
4:03
SPEAKER_02: Put a balloon near me.
4:04
SPEAKER_02: I will probably lose my you know what about it.
4:08
SPEAKER_02: And you know, I won't pop it because I don't want them near me.
4:10
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, yeah.
4:11
SPEAKER_02: So, anyhow, no, no parades for me.
4:14
SPEAKER_02: Um, that's probably a you know, kind of a never thing.
4:18
SPEAKER_02: The very idea of it sounds horrible.
4:21
SPEAKER_02: Although I do know people who um did go to the local parades and said that it was awesome and it was so fun.
4:26
SPEAKER_02: So I'm very happy for them.
4:28
SPEAKER_02: So happy for anybody who enjoyed it and uh right there with anybody who said no, thank you to it.
4:35
SPEAKER_02: Oh, all right, all right.
4:38
SPEAKER_02: We're we're getting into it.
4:39
SPEAKER_02: See, I told them I wasn't going to uh make them wait and uh making them wait.
4:44
SPEAKER_02: Um, let's start right off with hang on, it's it helps if I um I'm kind of on the ball here.
4:50
SPEAKER_02: Here we go.
4:51
SPEAKER_02: Let's talk about Tucker.
4:53
SPEAKER_02: And it this is actually like a it's a bigger um, this will expand.
4:57
SPEAKER_02: This will expand because it's not just about Tucker.
5:00
SPEAKER_02: Um, so he went on ABC and called the Iran strikes absolutely disgusting and evil.
5:06
SPEAKER_02: That is a quote.
5:07
SPEAKER_02: Um, he's claiming it betrays every American America first voter, uh, Candace Owens MGT MTG and now Megan Kelly are hitting the exact same beats zero wars, uh Israel's war, not ours, with Megan even sliding into the scene that same.
5:29
SPEAKER_02: And here's the thing this is a thing I kind of want to talk about that's kind of weirding me out big time.
5:35
SPEAKER_02: Um, and whether you agree with what they're saying or not, this is the whole thing that's weirding me out so much.
5:41
SPEAKER_02: Um I just watched a clip of hers and I have it where she's talking in the same exact kind of like sing song lilty voice tone that Tucker uses and Candace.
5:58
SPEAKER_02: Now, is it a journalist voice?
6:01
SPEAKER_02: Maybe, maybe that's all it is.
6:03
SPEAKER_02: I I I just associate this with specifically Tucker and Candace, and I'm gonna play it for you guys.
6:11
SPEAKER_02: It's a clip, it's um it's technically three clips in one, and I'm sorry to kind of segue a little.
6:16
SPEAKER_02: We'll we'll get right back on track, but I just need everybody and your input play on this.
6:21
SPEAKER_02: Um, it's all three of them back to back.
6:24
SPEAKER_01: It appears because he's been vocal about opposing it, he may find himself on the wrong end of a criminal prosecution, or at least the threat thereof.
6:37
SPEAKER_03: So the other day I found out that the CIA is preparing some kind of criminal referral against me, a crime report, the Department of Justice on the basis of a supposed crime I committed.
6:49
SPEAKER_03: What's that crime?
6:50
SPEAKER_03: Well, talking to people in Iran before the war.
6:54
SPEAKER_03: They read my texts.
6:56
SPEAKER_03: So the crime under consideration apparently would be the Foreign Agent Act or something like that, acting as an agent of a foreign power.
7:04
SPEAKER_03: Trevor Burrus, Jr.
7:04
SPEAKER_01: And I believe Tucker.
7:06
SPEAKER_01: Um some don't.
7:07
SPEAKER_01: I do.
7:09
SPEAKER_01: I believe him completely because he wouldn't have zero interest in running out, making himself the center of any story which he doesn't like to do ever, even when he often is.
7:19
SPEAKER_01: And knowing him, I detected real concern in his voice there because he's worried about what's happening to our government.
7:25
SPEAKER_01: Like, why are we behaving like this?
7:27
SPEAKER_01: Why would we be going after private citizens, a journalist in Tucker's case, for uh investigating the war?
7:37
SPEAKER_00: Uh you can legally and conscientiously object to a war.
7:40
SPEAKER_00: This isn't illegal war.
7:41
SPEAKER_00: The entire world is is responding to Trump and saying this is an illegal war, why are you doing this?
7:47
SPEAKER_00: And he is just saying, Well, we're gonna have it.
7:50
SPEAKER_00: This is what we do.
7:51
SPEAKER_00: We just we bump our Muslim children.
7:53
SPEAKER_02: So, like, do you hear it?
7:55
SPEAKER_02: Do you hear what I'm hearing?
7:56
SPEAKER_02: It's the I don't know why anybody would say that, but that's what they're saying.
8:01
SPEAKER_02: I don't know why this is happening, but it's happening.
8:05
SPEAKER_02: And it's it's all three of them are talking the exact same way, and it's weirding me out to like I can't unhear it, and I bet you guys are not gonna be able to unhear it either.
8:20
SPEAKER_02: Um, so obviously they're they're all uh talking about the same the same talking points again, same exact position, same exact talking points, same everything.
8:30
SPEAKER_02: Now, can you say that about the other the other side within the side?
8:35
SPEAKER_02: Another crazy aspect here, right, Clay?
8:38
SPEAKER_02: Um, yes, it's like there's so much parroting going on.
8:43
SPEAKER_02: Is is anyone actually thinking for themselves?
8:47
SPEAKER_02: And is that even possible right now because we're getting inundated with so much um opposing opinions, perspectives on it?
8:58
SPEAKER_02: So I I need to shut up and let you speak.
9:01
SPEAKER_04: No, so that the Tucker thing, so that you know, if people aren't tracking this because it popped into the news and then it kind of popped out of the news, is that Tucker was he said it, um, and it's been on multiple media outlets, is that he is being accused of the FBI by the FBI, um, and there was rumors of potential criminal investigation of him providing information to some form of either government agent or person related to the government of Iran prior to the war starting, the attack starting by the United States, which obviously lends into treason and all kinds of other things, right?
9:41
SPEAKER_04: Um, so he of course responded.
9:45
SPEAKER_04: Um, now he gave no specifics about how he found out.
9:50
SPEAKER_04: Um, like who told him, right?
9:53
SPEAKER_04: Was it was it the CIA?
9:55
SPEAKER_04: Was it the FBI?
9:57
SPEAKER_04: Did someone inside of one of those organizations tell him?
10:01
SPEAKER_04: I have not seen him say specifically where it came from, um, which of course lends people to make assumptions, right?
10:10
SPEAKER_04: Um interesting is the reaction, not so interesting is the reaction from Candace Owens, because I I believe she's a complete loon.
10:18
SPEAKER_04: Um I I think that she, you know, you could tell her anything.
10:23
SPEAKER_04: Um, and if it fits her narrative, um, she'll believe it.
10:26
SPEAKER_04: She'll mispronounce it, but she will definitely believe it.
10:28
SPEAKER_02: She will she will do both exceedingly well.
10:33
SPEAKER_04: Megan Kelly is uh moving further and further to the I think the right, and and probably dipping into a little bit of the conspiracy theory world.
10:43
SPEAKER_04: And I know there's all those people out there like, yeah, well, all the conspiracy theories are starting to come true.
10:49
SPEAKER_04: Okay, all right, fine.
10:50
SPEAKER_04: But but she her defending Tucker like she is is interesting because there's been some friction between the two of them in the last you know year, 18 months or so.
11:01
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but you know, Tucker was so very much in the pro-Trump MAGA crowd, um, and now he's he's on the outs.
11:10
SPEAKER_04: Um and and you know, I don't know if they're it's everything shifts so quickly, right?
11:19
SPEAKER_04: Are they pro-Israel?
11:20
SPEAKER_04: Are they anti-Israel?
11:22
SPEAKER_04: We whose side are they on?
11:24
SPEAKER_04: Right, not entirely positive, but like you said, the matched messaging is is interesting and it's a little bit concerning because they're all supposed to be independent journalists, right?
11:36
SPEAKER_05: Right.
11:37
SPEAKER_04: We saw, we see and saw this kind of stuff in the mainstream media, and it's one of the things that bothers us all so much.
11:45
SPEAKER_04: Right, you go on MSNBC and they say the exact same words as they say on CNN, as they say on ABC, as they say on CBS, right?
11:53
SPEAKER_04: Literally the exact same talking points using the same verbiage, right?
11:56
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, I gotta be honest, I I do have a problem, and you know, I don't know if I'd be so bold as to call it discernment.
12:04
SPEAKER_02: Uh, I would like to believe that this is discernment on on my end, because you know, who likes to be wrong, obviously, but um uh it doesn't sit right with me, it doesn't feel right.
12:17
SPEAKER_02: It it I and I don't have an explanation for it.
12:20
SPEAKER_02: Like, what's the reason?
12:21
SPEAKER_02: You know, so the the first thing that would come to mind is, you know, what everybody says.
12:26
SPEAKER_02: And again, it's like towing that same talking point.
12:29
SPEAKER_02: Oh, they've been bought and paid for, and it's the grift, and it's this and that, and it's all these things.
12:34
SPEAKER_02: I don't know, guys.
12:36
SPEAKER_02: I have no idea because I am gleefully on the outside.
12:41
SPEAKER_02: I don't want to be, and I've said this so many times in different ways.
12:45
SPEAKER_02: I don't want in the club.
12:47
SPEAKER_02: I want to stay as far out of it and and try, and this is actually what helps me like seeing these two greatly different perspectives stances.
12:58
SPEAKER_02: You know, you've got the the diehard uh maga, maga um crowd, and now you've got this dissenting side.
13:08
SPEAKER_02: And I feel like the these the wisest place to ever be in anything is right somewhere in the middle, right?
13:15
SPEAKER_02: Somewhere in the middle where you're listening and you're taking it in, and you're listening, and you're taking it in, and you're using the pause, right, Clay, our favorite word.
13:25
SPEAKER_02: Like I'm practicing the pause, and and I need to sit and wait these out.
13:31
SPEAKER_02: And and the most I can say to to anyone watching or listening is um be be be cautious, be careful here on what you're running with and what you're buying into hook, line, and synchronous.
13:46
SPEAKER_02: And I'm not saying uh that necessarily that Tucker and can't uh well definitely Candace is out of her mind, uh Tucker and Megan and even um uh Marjorie Taylor Green there, you know, uh do they have some strong points?
14:02
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they probably do, you know, in the fact that no, of course nobody wants to be part of an endless war.
14:09
SPEAKER_02: Nobody wants uh no normal person wants war, you know, but the flip side of that is what else are you gonna do here?
14:19
SPEAKER_02: Like there has been, to our understanding, a threat.
14:24
SPEAKER_02: I I don't know.
14:28
SPEAKER_02: And it and it it it tires me very much because I don't like to not know, you know.
14:34
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I I do believe that um Tucker's messaging is coming from somewhere else, uh, and I've paid attention enough.
14:43
SPEAKER_04: Like this is not a snap judgment on my part.
14:45
SPEAKER_04: I I've lost like I I stopped uh listening with intent uh you know to Tucker a while ago, in that I I believe it's not that I stopped listening, it's that I stopped believing the things that he was saying because things had changed so much, the the delivery had changed so much.
15:07
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you know, he has no guardrails.
15:10
SPEAKER_04: I believe that Megan Kelly for the longest time has had guardrails in her professional life outside of a network that has kept her focused and truthfully still doing journalism.
15:23
SPEAKER_04: I do believe that Tucker and the you know TCN crew, there are no guardrails.
15:29
SPEAKER_04: Like he get whatever he does, where I I I personally believe that there is no one putting him in check uh and telling him that things are a good or a bad idea.
15:38
SPEAKER_04: I think they're all good ideas.
15:40
SPEAKER_04: Um that's my personal opinion.
15:43
SPEAKER_04: Um, but that's that's from lots and lots of observation.
15:46
SPEAKER_04: That's not something that I came up with on a snap in the last week or so.
15:51
SPEAKER_04: Right.
15:52
SPEAKER_04: And that is that is my belief.
15:54
SPEAKER_04: Um now the the independent journalists were supposed to be what saved us.
16:01
SPEAKER_04: And really, I think as the media has fallen out of favor with the general public, um those who were influencing the media are now influencing independent journalists.
16:16
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, because they figured out that that's where everybody's migrating to, right?
16:22
SPEAKER_05: Right.
16:22
SPEAKER_04: So I think you know, the the ilk, not necessarily the person, but the ilk of George Soros and people like him, right?
16:31
SPEAKER_04: Influencing news that's out there.
16:34
SPEAKER_04: Um, I think they are starting to move to the big name independent journalist types, um, because that's where they're gonna continue to influence you know most of America and where they get their news from, because it's no longer the news networks.
16:50
SPEAKER_04: Like it just isn't so yeah, I think we're seeing a shift and it's not in a good way.
16:55
SPEAKER_02: No, it's um I I think it's extremely disturbing, very disheartening, because you have people who are you know watching and following these people, you know, and as you well know, and we've talked about in the past, um, when I made some posts about Candace uh a little while back, you know, those parody posts and just those questioning posts about her.
17:17
SPEAKER_02: I her, you know, her minions went berserk, like lost their minds, turned.
17:24
SPEAKER_02: They were like the rights version of uh blue-haired screaming memes.
17:31
SPEAKER_02: Like it was, I would say it's shocking, but there isn't a whole hell of a lot that shocks me anymore.
17:36
SPEAKER_02: It was just uh it was just disturbing.
17:38
SPEAKER_02: I think that's the best I can come with come up with them.
17:41
SPEAKER_02: It was just disturbing to view that, like, really, do you you do you not even see what you're doing right now?
17:50
SPEAKER_02: You lunatics.
17:52
SPEAKER_02: Um, so and I'm sure I'll see some of that as I have another video that's that I I'm posting about um my feelings about Megan.
18:00
SPEAKER_02: And I'm sure you know, her diehards are gonna, you know, lose their minds and threaten to unfollow me or tell me that I I've been bought and paid for, that I'm working for the you know, whoever, you know.
18:13
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right.
18:13
SPEAKER_02: I didn't we say that last time too.
18:15
SPEAKER_02: We got that accusation, like show me the money, you know.
18:18
SPEAKER_04: I mean I could be bought, but nobody's paid again.
18:23
SPEAKER_02: So nobody's offering Clay.
18:25
SPEAKER_02: What the hell?
18:25
SPEAKER_02: It's so rude.
18:27
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, oh, but um yeah, you know, so I'm I mean, I would be fair enough right now.
18:34
SPEAKER_02: Like I I feel I feel pretty confident that there is something not right.
18:40
SPEAKER_02: I'll put it, you know, as gently as I can.
18:43
SPEAKER_02: There is something greatly not right, you know.
18:46
SPEAKER_02: We already know this, anybody who's paying attention, we already know this about Candace.
18:50
SPEAKER_02: Um, and I'm on the same page with you uh about Tucker.
18:55
SPEAKER_02: Um, I've felt the same way about him for a while now.
18:59
SPEAKER_02: Uh I can't pinpoint pinpoint it for you, but it's been for a while that I was like, now I think this guy's lost the plot, like something else is going on.
19:08
SPEAKER_02: And now I see the same thing happening with Candice, uh, with uh Megan.
19:13
SPEAKER_02: And I can pinpoint the moment for me when I was like, what's going on with this girl?
19:18
SPEAKER_02: What is happening?
19:19
SPEAKER_02: And it was when she went on the personal physical appearance attack of Christy Gnome.
19:25
SPEAKER_02: Like she made a big fuss about the makeup and the hair and the eyelashes and the photo ops and everything.
19:34
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, this is so mean, girl, and so gross and not cool.
19:40
SPEAKER_02: And that was like the first moment that I went, kind of losing the love, losing the love here.
19:46
SPEAKER_02: And now it's been it's been a continuous thing of her going towards those tabloid topics.
19:53
SPEAKER_02: And so, which brings me to my kind of my conclusion point here is that it if it is not that they're being bought and paid, it's that they have believed, they have begun to believe or fully believe their own hype, and that they are all about the clicks and the follows and the dollars that are coming from the revenue of what they do.
20:17
SPEAKER_02: Um and I don't know.
20:21
SPEAKER_02: I mean, that's you know, whatever the the reason is, I feel very strongly that this is the thing that they are not um who they presented themselves to be before.
20:34
SPEAKER_02: They're just not.
20:35
SPEAKER_02: So right, yeah.
20:38
SPEAKER_02: Um I'm looking to see if there's anything else I want to say about this.
20:42
SPEAKER_02: Do you have anything else you want to say about this before I let you let you loose?
20:46
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
20:48
SPEAKER_02: I like how quick you're like, nope, let's let's do it.
20:51
SPEAKER_02: Let's go.
20:52
SPEAKER_02: All right, and go.
20:58
SPEAKER_04: All right, folks.
20:59
SPEAKER_04: So uh I'm I'm pretty worked up.
21:01
SPEAKER_04: This is the thing I'm worked up about is Joe Kent uh and his resignation from uh being the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, um, who up until 24 hours ago, I would tell you that 99.9% of America didn't even know existed um until this right, until his resignation letter hit.
21:22
SPEAKER_04: I I did know um uh personally, professionally, I knew I know what an NCTC is uh and what its purpose is.
21:31
SPEAKER_04: Uh, I also knew that Joe was the director there.
21:33
SPEAKER_04: Now, um 24 hours ago, uh 36 hours ago, oh by the way, folks, it is Wednesday.
21:40
SPEAKER_04: It is 6 30 at this point, about 6 30 on the East Coast.
21:45
SPEAKER_04: Um, just for time date timestamp.
21:47
SPEAKER_04: Um, so about 36 hours ago, Joe Kent resigned as the director of the uh National Counterterrorism Center.
21:55
SPEAKER_04: Um, if you don't know Joe Kent or who he is or What is his background?
22:01
SPEAKER_04: Joe Kent spent uh 20 plus years in the army.
22:05
SPEAKER_04: Uh he was uh a special operations at levels and tiers that people don't even know exist.
22:14
SPEAKER_04: Uh he started out as a guy, a young guy, as a young ranger, became a Green Beret uh special forces guy, and then went into some very clandest clandestine military intelligence uh organizations that truthfully people don't know what they who they are and and that they even exist.
22:34
SPEAKER_04: Then he retired and he uh became he worked for the CIA.
22:39
SPEAKER_04: Um and his wife, yes, and yes, he did run for office.
22:43
SPEAKER_04: Uh he had a failed attempt at running for office.
22:47
SPEAKER_04: Um he his wife uh was in the Navy, she was killed in Syria.
22:53
SPEAKER_04: Um, and you know, they had a couple of kids.
22:56
SPEAKER_04: Um he was became very well known uh to a lot of people from a Sean Ryan interview um that people have been quoting in the last 36 hours um and saying that this he was on Sean Ryan three months ago.
23:14
SPEAKER_04: Uh the interview actually took place in August of 2024.
23:18
SPEAKER_04: Actually, that's when it was released by the Sean Ryan show, was August of 2024.
23:24
SPEAKER_04: So 18 months ago is when that interview was released.
23:28
SPEAKER_04: I don't even know when it was conducted, but obviously prior to that.
23:32
SPEAKER_04: So people are quoting that interview, but that's when he kind of came to a lot of uh into the eye line or eyesight of a lot of people in the public because Sean Ryan's got a great show, and it was a great interview.
23:44
SPEAKER_04: Um and it's a compelling story, especially with the the loss of his wife.
23:49
SPEAKER_04: Um and so he gained a lot of attention, and then President Trump a year ago put him in uh as the director of the um counterterrorism center working underneath the DNI Tulsi Gabbard.
24:03
SPEAKER_04: Um his resignation letter yesterday uh has sparked some, to me, reprehensible and completely dishonest behavior by a whole bunch of people.
24:18
SPEAKER_04: Um, and I this is and I'm gonna upset some people.
24:21
SPEAKER_04: We're gonna get some hate mail for this, else I'm just telling you right now.
24:24
SPEAKER_04: Okay, that the administration did what it has done in the past to anyone and everyone that has stepped out of line.
24:33
SPEAKER_04: Um he became persona non grata.
24:36
SPEAKER_04: There are a lot of uh things said about him by the president and by Caroline Levitt uh in the last 24 hours that did not paint a great picture of uh of Joe Kent.
24:48
SPEAKER_04: Truthfully I think most of them are not true, uh, in the sense that um, you know, there have been, and outside of the administration, there's been other accusations.
24:58
SPEAKER_04: There's been accusations that he's being paid.
25:01
SPEAKER_04: There's accusations that his wife, his current wife, he's remarried.
25:06
SPEAKER_04: His current wife works for a uh left-wing pro-Muslim, anti-Israel uh uh media agency called Greystone, which she wrote one article for them in 2023, actually co-authored an article for them in 2023.
25:24
SPEAKER_04: She's not a a uh um uh an employee of that organization, she doesn't regularly provide content for them, etc.
25:33
SPEAKER_04: Um, you know, there's been people have called him a traitor, people have called him a coward, um, and and a whole bunch of things.
25:42
SPEAKER_04: Now, here's my and I have a lot of problems with all of that.
25:46
SPEAKER_04: Uh one, every veteran out there should know and understand that um as soon as you step out of line with this administration, and this has been proven time and time again, you can go back to General Mattis, you can go back to any anybody else.
25:58
SPEAKER_04: If you step out of line with the administration, um immediately all of your previous service no longer matters.
26:05
SPEAKER_04: Um, your loyalty to the nation comes under scrutiny and comes under attack immediately.
26:11
SPEAKER_04: And that's what's happening to Joe Kent right now.
26:13
SPEAKER_04: Um, his resignation letter rightfully or wrongly brought in the discussion of Israel's influence in the United States and on the president's decision making.
26:26
SPEAKER_04: Um now, a lot of things that have come out say, well, he doesn't know what's going on in Iran, he's been cut out of intelligence briefings.
26:36
SPEAKER_04: Um, they actually he was a leaker, they knew he was a leaker, they told Tulsi Gabbard to fire him, she didn't do it, blah, blah, blah.
26:45
SPEAKER_04: And he was and he was left in place until he resigned.
26:48
SPEAKER_04: Let me let me clear up a few things.
26:51
SPEAKER_04: If you are potentially a security threat to the United States and you have access to classified information that Joe Kent had, no one allows you to continue to do your job if they believe that you are a security threat to the United States.
27:08
SPEAKER_04: They also, and we all know President Trump's personality, if he told Tulsi Gabbard to fire Joe Kent months ago, which is what's being claimed, and she chose not to listen to the president, that she would not have a job either.
27:23
SPEAKER_04: He does not tolerate things like that.
27:26
SPEAKER_04: Um and and you know, lastly, the um, you know, well, he he he doesn't know what's going on because he was taken out of intelligence briefings.
27:37
SPEAKER_04: He literally gets briefed, he wasn't in briefings with the president.
27:40
SPEAKER_04: Okay, maybe he was, maybe he wasn't, but he gets briefed on counter on terrorism and counterterrorism globally every single day.
27:49
SPEAKER_04: That is his entire life and his job.
27:52
SPEAKER_04: And there is no way that they would leave him in his job and cut out everything terror-related that touches Iran and leave him in this position.
28:02
SPEAKER_04: It it doesn't happen, people.
28:05
SPEAKER_04: Um, but there's there's a lot of folks that are making these claims, and they say, Oh, well, look back.
28:10
SPEAKER_04: I think you have the tweet from 2020 that's like, you know, we should destroy Iran immediately, you know, and people bringing this up.
28:18
SPEAKER_02: Do you is that the one that you yeah, I have like I have like three different ones, and I and I okay.
28:22
SPEAKER_02: Let me see which ones I have here.
28:24
SPEAKER_02: Oh, two different ones, sorry.
28:26
SPEAKER_02: Uh let's see, yeah.
28:27
SPEAKER_02: So this one was from January 20th.
28:30
SPEAKER_02: Uh, what does it say?
28:31
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've got my my clock there, is is right in front of it blocking.
28:34
SPEAKER_04: Um, but it says it's a I got it.
28:37
SPEAKER_04: It's 7 January of 2020.
28:39
SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
28:40
SPEAKER_04: Joe Kent uh tweeting to uh President Trump, and it says we should not sit and wait for the next attack, wipe Iran's ballistic capability out, and get our troops out of Iraq.
28:51
SPEAKER_04: They're only targets now.
28:53
SPEAKER_04: No US WIA KIA is a tribute to the professionalism of our military and intel professionals, not Iranian restraint.
29:02
SPEAKER_04: Now, in his resignation letter, he said specifically that the endless war in Iran is what he is afraid of.
29:13
SPEAKER_04: And everybody keeps using that tweet, oh, by the way, from six years ago, as if it's still relevant, right?
29:19
SPEAKER_04: Um that was his position six years ago.
29:22
SPEAKER_04: Things change, right?
29:23
SPEAKER_04: He gained more information, had a different job, etc.
29:27
SPEAKER_04: But also he um he talked all he talked about there was remove their ballistic capability.
29:35
SPEAKER_04: In other words, get rid of their capability to build and deliver nuclear weapons.
29:41
SPEAKER_04: He didn't talk about regime change, he didn't talk about destroying, you know, every military capability that they had.
29:48
SPEAKER_04: He spoke specifically in that tweet six years ago about destroying their nuclear and nuclear delivery capability, which is what we've been doing for the last six years in partnership with Israel and others, right?
30:02
SPEAKER_04: And now that we've changed course and we have done the regime change piece of this, which is what we're doing, um, and we've gone after every facet of their military in the process, um, he resigned and he put it very clearly that uh he thinks Israel is influencing our decision making, the president's decision making.
30:24
SPEAKER_04: Uh, he thinks that uh the Iraq war, originally 2003 Iraq war was is influenced, that decision was influenced by Israel as well, and that this is going to be an endless war in Iran and our and our it's a waste of essentially blood and treasure that is uh ill-advised.
30:43
SPEAKER_04: And and he expressed his, you know, not he's not happy with the president's decision and he hopes that he changes his mind.
30:51
SPEAKER_04: Um, so people think suddenly that that Joe Ken has made a 180 and he hasn't.
30:56
SPEAKER_04: Um he has always been against the long-term 20-year war, which is what we're staring at, frankly, in Iran.
31:04
SPEAKER_04: Um, and and so he's you know, he he decided he couldn't stand by and be a part of this, uh, and so he resigned.
31:15
SPEAKER_04: And a lot of people are calling him a traitor, they're telling him a coward.
31:17
SPEAKER_04: They say, Oh, well, you have you should stay in the job and fight, you know, to change things as opposed to leaving.
31:24
SPEAKER_04: We all know that if President Trump like he he you do what he wants, there is no dissenting opinions when it comes to things like that.
31:35
SPEAKER_04: Uh, and you do what he wants or he fires you.
31:38
SPEAKER_04: So, you know, Joe Kent truthfully probably believed that the end result of this was him leaving that job anyway, and he just decided to resign and save himself some trouble.
31:47
SPEAKER_04: Um, and I I would tell you honestly, and again, we're people are gonna get upset about this.
31:52
SPEAKER_04: As much as I support what we have done uh in Iran thus far, I do believe that we are potentially staring at another 20 years in the Middle East.
32:04
SPEAKER_04: I do believe that we don't have a plan to replace the Ayatollah.
32:12
SPEAKER_04: I do believe that we've destabilized the entire region.
32:16
SPEAKER_04: Um, and I do believe that this is gonna result in us forcing us putting boots on the ground in Iran, which I don't support.
32:23
SPEAKER_04: Um, and and if anybody can tell me what the plan is um on when we think we're this is gonna end, I would tell you they're lying to themselves because I would bet a dime on a dollar that if you put Pete Hegzith uh with his hand on a Bible, he can't tell you when this ends, and neither can President Trump.
32:41
SPEAKER_04: And this is 2003 Iraq all over again.
32:45
SPEAKER_04: I I don't think that in my gut because we have no plan to end what we're doing, right?
32:52
SPEAKER_04: And I think that's the most that's why Joe Kent resigned.
32:55
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
32:55
SPEAKER_04: For that exact reason.
32:57
SPEAKER_02: Right.
32:57
SPEAKER_02: And I and I think that's the most reasonable, balanced um position to take on it.
33:04
SPEAKER_02: That like what's the end game here, right?
33:06
SPEAKER_02: Like, how how do we end this?
33:08
SPEAKER_02: You know, how how can we get our people not so deeply involved?
33:16
SPEAKER_02: Like you're saying, 20 plus years, you know, I'm like, like you said, we have been through this and in a region that has proven time and again throughout all of history that they cannot get along, that they cannot work together.
33:32
SPEAKER_02: So we're inserting ourselves into something.
33:35
SPEAKER_02: Um and we don't know the end game.
33:39
SPEAKER_02: Now, maybe well, I guess you said it, they they don't they don't even know the end game potentially, uh, you know, assumedly, right?
33:48
SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, it it's tough because then when you hear things, you know, and of course you read you read both sides of everything and your head starts spinning, you know, because I know some of the things I've read and saved and bookmarked to like, you know, study and and try and understand is that, you know, according to the consensus of the Trump administration that there is a credible threat to us, that they have been basically, you know, I mean, these are the people that say death to America, you know, on a minute by minute basis, that that is their that is their end game to destroy us and and everyone else that isn't them.
34:29
SPEAKER_02: So, you know, then that's so that's the argument, right?
34:32
SPEAKER_02: Like that's the argument from if you want to call it the Trump camp, that you know, these are people that will not stop until you stop them.
34:40
SPEAKER_02: And the goal is to stop them.
34:44
SPEAKER_02: Uh uh again, you you know, with the extent of the understanding that I have on both positions of this, I I can see both sides of it.
34:53
SPEAKER_02: And I'll be damned if I know what the right uh course is, you know.
34:58
SPEAKER_02: I I know what we all don't want, and of course, that's the loss of uh American lives, you know.
35:06
SPEAKER_04: Uh we don't want the loss of any life, obviously, but um if and unfortunately, where we're at now is Joe Kent is in his entire life, everything is being dragged uh because he has expressed an opinion that disagrees with the president of the United States, right?
35:28
SPEAKER_04: Um, he is literally like you remember folks, like a couple of years ago when cancel culture was at its peak and it was always the people on the left, like think back to Kevin Hart, right?
35:39
SPEAKER_04: You remember that whole thing?
35:40
SPEAKER_04: Like we tried to tweet a 10-year-old tweet of his, and then he couldn't, you know, he's like, Oh, you can't host the Oscars because you made a gay joke 10 years ago.
35:49
SPEAKER_04: Um we're all like, oh, cancel culture is so stupid, you know, people have to let blah blah blah.
35:54
SPEAKER_04: That's exactly what's happening to Joe Kent right now is cancel culture.
35:58
SPEAKER_04: He is being canceled.
35:59
SPEAKER_04: Uh lies are being made up about him, people are dragging stuff up from six, eight years ago that are completely irrelevant.
36:05
SPEAKER_04: And when I say completely irrelevant, like the people that say, Oh, his wife is a sympathizer, blah, when he took the job as a director at NCTC, his entire life and background was checked, including his spouse, including that article and her association with Greystone, was all checked as part of his background check.
36:27
SPEAKER_04: It was cleared before he took the job, right?
36:32
SPEAKER_04: And it's not now all of a sudden a problem, but that's what people are doing.
36:37
SPEAKER_04: They're taking these snippets of information, they're using them, and and it's the same five or six tweets or the same five or six screenshots that I've seen 50 times in the last 36 hours, and it's super dishonest, and it's actually really pretty disgusting that a guy sacrificed that much, including his spouse.
36:58
SPEAKER_04: And people have decided that since he disagrees with the president, that he's a piece of shit and that he should be, you know, hung from a yard arm somewhere and you know, like end everything that he's ever done.
37:11
SPEAKER_04: It's gross.
37:12
SPEAKER_04: People should be ashamed of themselves, really.
37:14
SPEAKER_02: And I will be the first one to tell you to admit that when I first, you know, as you know, we've told you this many times that uh Clay picks out the topics for us, and and then I go do like a good girl, I do my research and make sure I'm prepared for the conversation.
37:29
SPEAKER_02: And uh this was no exception.
37:31
SPEAKER_02: So the first thing that I did was, you know, pull everything that's being recently discussed.
37:37
SPEAKER_02: And every single thing that I read pointed me to everything that Clay is saying right here, that my impression based on all of the first things that I read is this guy is a traitor, he's a turncoat, he is all of these things, he's been bought, he's all all of the things that the you know the people of the internet are accusing him of are what my perception was.
38:08
SPEAKER_02: And so, and I, you know, as we just talked about doing the pause and doing the wait, I was like, you know what?
38:13
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna wait.
38:14
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna wait, I'm gonna calm down here and and wait to hear what Clay has to say about it.
38:20
SPEAKER_02: And then I'm gonna sit back for the evening and and think about this and just simply keep watching, keep listening, and keep paying attention and using some critical thinking and some objective thinking.
38:34
SPEAKER_02: And, you know, and you brought up some really, really significant points that you know that some of these things were said uh quite a few years ago, and uh a whole bunch of other things.
38:46
SPEAKER_02: You said a whole bunch of things.
38:47
SPEAKER_02: And it was like, all right, you know what?
38:49
SPEAKER_02: Hey, hang on a second, hang on a second.
38:52
SPEAKER_02: I am, you know, um probably very relatably quick to defend um Trump, President Trump.
39:01
SPEAKER_02: Um, it's like a knee-jerk reaction to do that, you know, which is not healthy, it's not good, it's not healthy to just your automatic responses to defend.
39:11
SPEAKER_02: Um, your automatic response should be to pause.
39:14
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna say it the whole darn episode.
39:17
SPEAKER_02: Pause, pause, pause.
39:19
SPEAKER_02: Get as much information as you can.
39:21
SPEAKER_02: And I feel like that is such a daunting, exhausting task.
39:24
SPEAKER_02: I know that it is because you have to sift through so much BS and you know, point and counterpoint and you know, argument against, argument for.
39:36
SPEAKER_02: I I know, but it is our responsibility to to do that.
39:40
SPEAKER_02: If you want to be a rational thinking human instead of a reactive, you know, listen, I'm speaking to everybody on the right, because those are about the only people that would be watching this show, except for the except for like the three three wack-a-doos that like to come in and argue with themselves, basically, in there.
39:58
SPEAKER_02: Um, but I am speaking to everyone who would be listening on the right.
40:02
SPEAKER_02: Um you're if you're if you're saying the types of things that they say on the left, you have a problem.
40:11
SPEAKER_02: You have a greater problem than than you even know that you do because you've you've fallen into the the psyop.
40:18
SPEAKER_02: And you know, whatever the psyop might be, you've fallen into it.
40:22
SPEAKER_02: And you know, I saw a great, I don't want to segue too much, but I I saw a great thing.
40:26
SPEAKER_02: I'll have to try and find it and put it in the notes um about the psyops and how to tell if you are in one and if you're falling for one.
40:34
SPEAKER_02: And it's pretty interesting, and it's um, you know, some of the things is is kind of what we were talking about when you're seeing uh multiple, multiple big um pundits, um, podcasters, whatever the case is, all repeating the same message, the same talking points, the same everything.
40:53
SPEAKER_02: It's like you might be in a psyop, you know, if this, that.
40:57
SPEAKER_02: Um, so yeah, you know, that's kind of my position these days on on all of this stuff.
41:03
SPEAKER_02: I am, don't get me wrong, I am still very pro-Trump.
41:06
SPEAKER_02: Um I expect to remain that way.
41:10
SPEAKER_02: Do I, you know, and it's always been the issue, I think, with him.
41:13
SPEAKER_02: It's the people that surround him, it's the people, you know, that um that may have different ulterior motives that may be trying to pull strings otherwise.
41:23
SPEAKER_02: I I truly in my heart of hearts believe that Trump's intentions uh and his aim and his goals are truly America first.
41:32
SPEAKER_02: So um, I don't know.
41:33
SPEAKER_02: I guess we're just gonna see, right?
41:35
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I I you are right, Clay.
41:37
SPEAKER_02: It is disgusting.
41:38
SPEAKER_02: It's disheartening to watch someone with um, you know, a pretty pristine um record of of service and sacrifice to this country.
41:47
SPEAKER_02: And and, you know, for you uh as a veteran, for me as a spouse of a veteran, you know, you like to see, and you made an excellent point.
41:56
SPEAKER_02: I think you even said it before we went on air.
41:58
SPEAKER_02: Um, you don't give a free pass just because they served.
42:02
SPEAKER_02: It's not, it's not like this blanket, um, just because you served, you know, you you get the free pass.
42:07
SPEAKER_02: It's not that at all.
42:08
SPEAKER_02: Um, but it it it is a level of respect and and um decency, basically, right?
42:15
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and you know, we'll we'll move on from this, but that's the there's just the amount of people inside of 12 to 24 hours who have made truthfully didn't know who Joe Kent was until he put his resignation letter in, didn't know what his job was, don't know what his background is, and had never heard of him, suddenly became experts on everything about him, his job and his past, um, and made a whole bunch of judgment calls uh based on absolutely nothing but what they found on the internet, which is uh pretty shameful.
42:49
SPEAKER_04: But yeah, that's where we live now.
42:51
SPEAKER_04: I I hate to say it, that's where we live.
42:54
SPEAKER_02: So oh yeah, there's gonna be people in the comment section um of the clips or of the yeah, people are going to have gone after me and my service.
43:04
SPEAKER_04: I you know, it is what it is.
43:06
SPEAKER_04: Um, when you when you put yourself out there, those are the risks that you take.
43:10
SPEAKER_04: I get it.
43:11
SPEAKER_04: Um, you know, I think I still think it's gross, but but people do it and it, you know, that's kind of the the world that we live in right now, right?
43:19
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, listen, people are gonna come at me uh when they see some of these clips, they're gonna come at me for insisting on finding a neutral position.
43:29
SPEAKER_02: They're gonna say, you have to pick a side, you have to have a position, you can't, and I've told y'all this before.
43:37
SPEAKER_02: I have a side.
43:38
SPEAKER_02: His side is Jesus.
43:40
SPEAKER_02: That is my side, that is my only side.
43:43
SPEAKER_02: Everything else comes after that.
43:45
SPEAKER_02: So if you're if you come in telling me I gotta pick a side, it dude, that's been that has been picked long before any of these conversations happen.
43:54
SPEAKER_02: So there's that.
43:56
SPEAKER_02: Um, all right, next, let's see.
43:59
SPEAKER_02: We are talking.
44:00
SPEAKER_02: About Cuba.
44:01
SPEAKER_02: Cuba, Cuba, Cuba.
44:03
SPEAKER_02: Yes, my uh half of my people, half of my heritage there.
44:09
SPEAKER_02: Let's see.
44:10
SPEAKER_02: Cuba's people are hitting the streets over endless blackouts and shortages, torching a Communist Party office in Maroon echoes of 2021, but fiercer with Trump squeezing oil and talking regime change.
44:23
SPEAKER_02: Is freedom finally breaking through?
44:26
SPEAKER_02: My goodness, the very idea of it is um, well, it's it's you know, it's it's obviously meaningful to me.
44:35
SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, I have said this to you guys before, so I apologize to those of you who already know this.
44:40
SPEAKER_02: I am half German and half Cuban, and I am, you know, I'm 100% American, but this is my heritage.
44:46
SPEAKER_02: Um, it literally split right down the middle.
44:49
SPEAKER_02: My father's, my father and that side of the family is all from Cuba.
44:54
SPEAKER_02: My father was born in Cuba, uh, raised there until his teen years, and then came here.
44:59
SPEAKER_02: Uh, my mother was born in Germany, came here.
45:02
SPEAKER_02: So it's a very, you know, right down the middle uh line.
45:08
SPEAKER_02: And I have family members, my aunt in particular, who did go to Cuba um a few years, uh, probably quite a few years now.
45:16
SPEAKER_02: It's probably more than five years now.
45:18
SPEAKER_02: Uh, she did go back for the first time in many, many years.
45:21
SPEAKER_02: And um she's it was she it was one of the most heartbreaking things that she felt she had ever done.
45:29
SPEAKER_02: And you know, there was parts of her that regretted going back because it was so painful and so um sad um to see, to see her her home, her literal uh home, um, what it looks like now.
45:43
SPEAKER_02: So um I've talked to many Cubans who have experienced this.
45:48
SPEAKER_02: I know, I know my family's history there.
45:51
SPEAKER_02: So uh their history of coming here and what they left behind and how they left everything behind.
45:58
SPEAKER_02: It's you know, it's it's too long for uh for this for this episode, but someday I'd love to have that conversation.
46:05
SPEAKER_02: Um so yeah, so for me it's it's kind of like this second step emotional conversation.
46:13
SPEAKER_02: Um do we have I don't think I have the video.
46:16
SPEAKER_02: If I have it, I'll put it up.
46:18
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, there's uh you know lots of videos coming out of of the uh protest and um the the you know it's breaking into some riots and all of those things.
46:28
SPEAKER_02: Um but there's a lot to unpack here, but I I want to ask you, what do you think um actual freedom would look like in Cuba and how my my military man here, how do we support this without another messy intervention?
46:44
SPEAKER_04: And and that's the hard part is the timing couldn't be worse.
46:48
SPEAKER_04: We still haven't figured out or ended like Venezuela is still you know up in the air.
46:54
SPEAKER_04: Um obviously we've got everything going on in Iran.
46:57
SPEAKER_04: Um, and so now you've got this.
46:59
SPEAKER_04: Now I think Cuba actually is fairly easy.
47:02
SPEAKER_04: Uh, and I say that because I think that commercial businesses are going to leap to get into Cuba, establish themselves, and I think the economy is gonna fix itself very, very quickly.
47:17
SPEAKER_04: And I know that there's there's there are rumors, discussions, it's been on some news sources that there's there is negotiation, there is discussion between Havana and Washington, DC.
47:28
SPEAKER_04: Um and so President Trump's a business guy, and so his solution to this is gonna be economics.
47:35
SPEAKER_04: And I think what you're gonna see is an influx of American money is gonna fix a lot of problems in Cuba.
47:41
SPEAKER_04: My fear is that it is almost like the fire hose, right?
47:45
SPEAKER_04: There's just so much that it is gonna overwhelm anything and everything that they have as far as infrastructure, because I know it's that's pretty fragile.
47:58
SPEAKER_04: Um so I I just hope that we can provide enough oversight through Department of State to kind of control what goes in there to help bolster Cuba as it becomes free.
48:11
SPEAKER_04: Um so, but I I think I actually think it's you know zero bloodshed.
48:16
SPEAKER_04: I don't think there's gonna be any, you know, fight in it.
48:19
SPEAKER_04: I think there's gonna be a peaceful negotiation and a uh dissolution of the communist government, I think is gonna dissolve.
48:26
SPEAKER_04: Um, and then I think you're gonna see a massive influx of American money that's going to put Cuba back on the map, like very quickly.
48:33
SPEAKER_04: It's gonna look like Cuba, you know, pre-Castro casinos and like all of that stuff.
48:38
SPEAKER_04: Like, I think that it's gonna turn around and become a tourist hub very, very quickly.
48:43
SPEAKER_02: It would be so amazing.
48:45
SPEAKER_02: That is uh absolutely a dream to to go to Cuba to just just to see it, just to see it.
48:52
SPEAKER_02: Um, so I I am hoping for that.
48:54
SPEAKER_02: Um more importantly, right now, praying for um all all of the people there.
48:59
SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, if you can imagine just living with like 18-hour blackouts and families are in the dark, and of course, food is spoiling with little food that they have even, um, you know, so that is socialism's gift right there, guys.
49:14
SPEAKER_02: That's the gift that keeps on taking.
49:18
SPEAKER_02: Right?
49:18
SPEAKER_02: You know, that's a laugh about it, but I was being punny there and I was pretty proud of myself.
49:23
SPEAKER_02: Um, so yeah, that there's that that one.
49:27
SPEAKER_02: Uh, I personally will be very intently watching what happens there.
49:32
SPEAKER_02: Um, let's go to this one, Clay.
49:36
SPEAKER_04: So the partial shutdown continues, folks.
49:39
SPEAKER_04: And so, you know, right now it's all the impact is almost exclusively on uh facets of DHS.
49:47
SPEAKER_04: Everybody's doing it at uh TSA at the airports.
49:51
SPEAKER_04: We talked about this before.
49:52
SPEAKER_04: Um, but Coast Guard and you know, um, I know ICE has their money, but BPS, regardless, the messaging now from the Democrats, and I say Democrats, I'm talking all of them, shoe everybody, Schumer, all of them are saying we we want to end this, we want to end this shutdown, we want to end this.
50:12
SPEAKER_04: Um, but ICE, and that's really it.
50:16
SPEAKER_04: And and there's a million solutions to this.
50:19
SPEAKER_04: There is uh, but they're playing hardball.
50:22
SPEAKER_04: But the messaging, and they keep voting to keep it all of that partial shutdown going, and at the same, you know, out of the other side of their mouth, they're saying, No, no, no, we we want to reopen everything, we really, really want to.
50:34
SPEAKER_04: And then they're trying to blame you know the GOP, the conservatives for this, and when they're the ones that what it what was that 11 times they voted?
50:42
SPEAKER_02: 11 times, 11 times, yep.
50:45
SPEAKER_04: It's it's gross, but don't be fooled, folks.
50:48
SPEAKER_04: And that's the point is that their messaging does not match their actions as is typical.
50:54
SPEAKER_04: Um, yes.
50:55
SPEAKER_04: Hopefully, for all of us, because I know the TSA issue for a lot of folks is getting pretty hectic.
51:00
SPEAKER_04: Um, I hope this doesn't last much longer, even if they you know whittle it down and say, okay, well, let's fund these things, you know what I mean?
51:10
SPEAKER_04: And and you know, get some of the money flowing.
51:13
SPEAKER_04: Um, but yeah, this is uh it's not helping anybody.
51:16
SPEAKER_04: And truthfully, um, I saw somebody tweeted the other day like Congress should be riding coach and waiting in line like everybody else.
51:25
SPEAKER_04: They shouldn't be allowed to use clear, they shouldn't be allowed TSA special passes, no escorts through anything.
51:31
SPEAKER_04: They should have to stand in line with everybody else and suffer the consequences.
51:35
SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
51:35
SPEAKER_04: I agree with that.
51:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, 100%.
51:38
SPEAKER_02: Speaking of clear, yes, we did get clear.
51:40
SPEAKER_02: Last week, Clay and I talked about getting clear.
51:41
SPEAKER_02: We did get it, we did it.
51:43
SPEAKER_02: I'll tell y'all how it went when we come back.
51:46
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, yeah, it was like, you know what, gotta do it, gotta do it.
51:50
SPEAKER_02: I gotta get to those grandbabies.
51:51
SPEAKER_02: That's the most important thing on this planet right now.
51:55
SPEAKER_02: Everything else is irrelevant to me.
51:58
SPEAKER_02: Um, listen, speaking of lawmakers, right?
52:02
SPEAKER_02: We can go, we can go right on to this, yeah.
52:05
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so um primaries in Illinois yesterday, and and so obviously, you know, being a resident, I pay very close attention to these things now.
52:15
SPEAKER_04: And the thing that jumped out at me was in a local news story I saw, but then it got picked up by the national news.
52:21
SPEAKER_04: And for those that don't know, um Governor JB Pritzker, um, his family, and I've like immediately forgotten, um, they are hotel owners.
52:35
SPEAKER_04: Like when I say hotel owners, they own uh which one is it?
52:41
SPEAKER_04: It is it's one of the big ones, right?
52:44
SPEAKER_04: They they own it's not Hilton, but it's one of those like big they have billions.
52:49
SPEAKER_04: Oh, Hyatt.
52:50
SPEAKER_04: They own Hyatt Hotel.
52:51
SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh, okay.
52:52
SPEAKER_04: They have billions and billions of family dollars.
52:55
SPEAKER_04: Well, governor is using the Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt dollars to influence the elections inside of the state because he's a billionaire.
53:09
SPEAKER_04: And folks, there's a difference between President Trump saying I endorse so and so and in such and such state or for such and such position, right?
53:19
SPEAKER_04: And we know his success rate is very, very high, right?
53:22
SPEAKER_04: Just getting a Trump endorsement is a great thing, but he doesn't follow it up with money, right?
53:27
SPEAKER_04: Right, Governor Pritzker is following it up with money from the high, he's essentially using it as a as a tax like a shield kind of thing.
53:38
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it feels problematic.
53:40
SPEAKER_02: Call me crazy.
53:41
SPEAKER_04: He's influencing the elections financially through family money, uh, you know, in in ways that I think the founding fathers would not be cool with.
53:52
SPEAKER_02: Um like they would not be cool with that.
53:55
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and so you know, he is he's at the point now uh where he is one of the considered, you know, probably final three or four in the next uh presidential election.
54:08
SPEAKER_04: Um if his you know physical fatness uh allows him to live that long.
54:13
SPEAKER_04: Um but it's something to be cautious about, right?
54:17
SPEAKER_04: Yes, President Trump funded a lot of his presidential campaign uh out of his own money, out of Trump dollars, you know, the Trump corporation, um, but Governor Pritzker is influencing lower level elections within his own state with funds from his corporation.
54:32
SPEAKER_04: So um it's a it's an interesting dynamic that we haven't seen, that I haven't seen before, and I think it's very problematic.
54:40
SPEAKER_04: I mean, yeah, I'm not yeah, no, no, I don't think so.
54:44
SPEAKER_02: Somebody, I mean, if somebody thinks we he is crazy, please tell us why in detail.
54:49
SPEAKER_02: Explain, explain it to me like I'm five.
54:53
SPEAKER_02: Right?
54:54
SPEAKER_02: Like, how how are you thinking this is a good idea, other than because you're a Democrat and he's a Democrat and you just want to make sure never any Republicans ever like that would be the only well it's Illinois.
55:06
SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's yeah, exactly, right?
55:10
SPEAKER_04: You know, we have a history of governors going to jail.
55:13
SPEAKER_04: We have corrupt.
55:15
SPEAKER_04: I mean, you know, you've got uh Blagojevich and Obama and like it all all of the political sickness, you know, in this state is is hereditary and it just keeps it.
55:28
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, they kind of brew quite a bit of it.
55:31
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
55:32
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
55:33
SPEAKER_02: Um, listen, let's let's just keep them rolling here with insanity, right?
55:39
SPEAKER_02: I mean I hate to laugh about it, but how do you not even just laugh at this point because it's so bananas?
55:48
SPEAKER_02: Uh Virginia's assault weapons ban heads to Spanberger ban sales, high capacity mags, but exempts law enforcement.
55:57
SPEAKER_02: And it says I have some officials, I don't think that's accurate.
56:01
SPEAKER_02: Is is that can clarify that a little bit because they need this in plain terms, Clay.
56:07
SPEAKER_02: Go for it.
56:07
SPEAKER_04: So this is um uh a widespread uh gun ban in the state of Virginia to not just in possession of uh or purchase of, right?
56:19
SPEAKER_04: High capacity magazines, um, the always misnomer assault rifle.
56:25
SPEAKER_02: Um I was just gonna say I hate that phrase, but yeah, go ahead.
56:29
SPEAKER_04: Um, if you have one now, you can own it, and that's okay.
56:32
SPEAKER_04: It can never leave your house.
56:34
SPEAKER_04: Never.
56:35
SPEAKER_04: You can't transport it under this new bill.
56:38
SPEAKER_04: So if you have one, you can't take it to the range, you can't shoot it.
56:42
SPEAKER_04: Uh, you like it cannot leave your house.
56:44
SPEAKER_04: And oh, by the way, if you buy one or it's located at another location, you can't move it within the state of Virginia.
56:52
SPEAKER_04: Um, along with all of the, like I said, the the other high capacity magazine and assault band, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
56:58
SPEAKER_04: However, and as gross as all that is, and like, you know, this the two-a community is freaking out as they should.
57:05
SPEAKER_04: This is one of the most restrictive gun bans in the nation right now.
57:10
SPEAKER_04: You know, their Congress, their um, you know, their Congress, and it went to the governor's desk.
57:16
SPEAKER_04: And there were some great protests outside the Capitol in Virginia, like people literally walking around open assault rifles like strapped across their chests, and like um, a company was giving out free 30-round magazines, like the protesters and all kinds of stuff.
57:32
SPEAKER_04: But what's crazy about this, and and Elsa said it, is there is a clause in this bill that out loud, no hiding, exempts all state lawmakers from every facet of this bill.
57:46
SPEAKER_04: So they can all have high capacity magazines, assault rifles, they can transport them out of their house, they can do everything in the bill that the bill says you can't do.
57:55
SPEAKER_04: They are all exempt.
57:57
SPEAKER_04: It is the most blatant hypocrisy you will see anywhere in any state level law.
58:04
SPEAKER_04: It is unbelievable, and they don't care.
58:06
SPEAKER_04: Like they literally know it's in there, and they don't give a crap how bad it looks um or the how how big a hypocrites they are, they don't care.
58:14
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
58:14
SPEAKER_02: Let let let that sink in.
58:17
SPEAKER_02: The the lawmakers, the I just can't.
58:22
SPEAKER_02: The lawmakers should be trusted with guns, but the everyday citizens should not.
58:29
SPEAKER_02: I mean, are you are you it feels like it's a joke, like it feels like it feels like somebody's gonna go, just kidding.
58:37
SPEAKER_02: We wanted to see if you would fall for it.
58:39
SPEAKER_02: Like we wanted to see if you would buy it if you were paying attention, like if you remembered.
58:43
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, we thought we could sneak it by you, I guess not.
58:46
SPEAKER_02: Whoops, whoops, yeah.
58:48
SPEAKER_02: I mean, you know, how as usual, law-abiding citizens, law-abiding gun owners, uh, law-abiding citizens are the ones that are going to pay the price of this because what do we all know by now?
59:09
SPEAKER_02: Well, it's that lawbreakers don't give a you know what about gun laws, they don't care.
59:19
SPEAKER_02: So who's who's gonna pay for this?
59:22
SPEAKER_02: Well, we all know the answer to this.
59:26
SPEAKER_02: Let's just everybody sit back and watch the rampant crime just go right through the roof.
59:34
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, just um, you know, not only is it so dumb and it's so obnoxious, it is horrifying um that they could even pull that off.
59:43
SPEAKER_02: Like, you know, that that could even be pulled off.
59:46
SPEAKER_02: So shame, shame on shame on anyone in that state who's not paying attention and who's not getting themselves involved in this uh battle because that is just the beginning, folks.
59:57
SPEAKER_02: Just the beginning of what they'll do to you.
1:00:00
SPEAKER_02: My goodness, do we not learn anything from history ever at all exhausting?
1:00:06
SPEAKER_02: Uh, lastly, just about lastly, speaking of exhausting, um, 2026 Oscars, did anyone actually watch?
1:00:16
SPEAKER_02: Did you watch Clay?
1:00:17
SPEAKER_04: No, but I saw a great uh number on their viewership.
1:00:22
SPEAKER_04: Their viewership, yeah.
1:00:24
SPEAKER_04: So their viewership uh 20 years ago, I think was 54 million.
1:00:32
SPEAKER_02: 20 years ago, okay.
1:00:33
SPEAKER_04: 54 million, 34 million, and this week it was 17 million.
1:00:40
SPEAKER_04: Now, okay, I don't know how much streaming, how much like just think about the evolution of technology, right?
1:00:50
SPEAKER_04: What they did find was the world baseball classic being the same week as the Oscars overpowered the Oscars, and there were more watchers of the world baseball classic than there was of the of the Oscars.
1:01:05
SPEAKER_04: Um, so um, yeah, nobody watched it because they're like it just they're so dumb.
1:01:13
SPEAKER_02: Oh, like I'm I can't at this point in my life, I cannot fathom sitting there watch a bunch of you know pretend makers pat themselves and each other on the back for pretending.
1:01:28
SPEAKER_02: And yes, I do love movies, I do love shows, I love theater, I do enjoy all of those things.
1:01:34
SPEAKER_02: Um I I don't love the backpatting and you know um grandstanding of people who live in their isolation bubbles and um preach to the rest of us how we should think, how we should feel, what we should believe in.
1:01:55
SPEAKER_02: And they could not be more disconnected from the world if they tried.
1:02:01
SPEAKER_02: Like they are the most disconnected people.
1:02:03
SPEAKER_02: So just sit them and sit there and and watch them, you know, uh, like I said, grandstand and get on their soapbox and um just walk around with their chests all puffed up and pompous and arrogant and obnoxious and call themselves you had a clip.
1:02:20
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I do have a clip.
1:02:22
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, here's this one, and then you know, they go about saying um highly offensive things like this.
1:02:28
SPEAKER_06: We should take some of these feature films, remake them in shorts.
1:02:32
SPEAKER_06: Schindler's post it.
1:02:37
SPEAKER_02: Um, I I don't really know how that would be funny, so you know, premise, premise-wise, sure, I'll I'll give it to them.
1:02:46
SPEAKER_02: The idea of like the Oscar or the uh the the movies being too long and exhausting, sure, I'm gonna give that to you.
1:02:54
SPEAKER_02: There certainly are ones that are definitely that.
1:02:56
SPEAKER_02: Um, but to add Schindler's list to that list in in this climate, especially right now, um, it's hard, it's hard to take that as anything other than, you know, if it's not anti-Semitic, it's really towing the line of it, you know.
1:03:21
SPEAKER_04: Like that's a dumb, it's a it's dumb to make that joke, yeah, right.
1:03:25
SPEAKER_04: Especially in that room, the overly sense that those that is the room that tells everybody else to be hyper sensitive to everything.
1:03:35
SPEAKER_04: And I get it, revolt within the comics right now that are like, no, we need to make fun of everything because that's how we get back to normal.
1:03:43
SPEAKER_04: And I I agree with that.
1:03:44
SPEAKER_04: I agree with that, yes, in that room with that audience to make a joke about that specific movie, Schindler's List and shortening so it's Schindler's post-it note.
1:03:57
SPEAKER_04: Um, that was gross.
1:03:58
SPEAKER_04: One really bad choice by that comedian, and he's a funny guy.
1:04:02
SPEAKER_04: He is a funny guy, yeah.
1:04:04
SPEAKER_04: Stand-up's good, but yeah, really, it's like that is the height of like read the room and don't be dumbass.
1:04:11
SPEAKER_04: And he's yeah, you know, it's both of those.
1:04:13
SPEAKER_02: Right, yeah.
1:04:14
SPEAKER_02: It kind of becomes a question of like, are you being tone deaf or are you reading the room?
1:04:18
SPEAKER_02: And that's what the room wants, because I there was very muted laughter there.
1:04:22
SPEAKER_02: The laughter on that one was very like, uh, you know, like, I don't think that was a good idea.
1:04:32
SPEAKER_02: Um so yeah, so we usually do the very last thing we always do is the comments section.
1:04:38
SPEAKER_02: We need a we need a little theme song for that.
1:04:41
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna have to I'm gonna have to create one for it.
1:04:43
SPEAKER_02: Um, I do not have an exact um uh one to pull up.
1:04:48
SPEAKER_02: It's not that they don't exist.
1:04:49
SPEAKER_02: I just didn't have time today to pull one up.
1:04:52
SPEAKER_02: Um, but Clay discovered something that I I kind of was only vaguely aware of.
1:04:58
SPEAKER_02: Go ahead, tell him about it.
1:05:00
SPEAKER_04: Two things.
1:05:00
SPEAKER_04: One, I I was what I was on the Facebook feed last week when we were live, and there was an individual on there, and they disappeared so quickly I couldn't even screenshot them.
1:05:09
SPEAKER_04: But there was a guy on there that was commenting, and then Elsa and I don't know if the auto sensors or if somebody else amount, whatever, somebody was taking down his comments like so rapidly.
1:05:20
SPEAKER_04: Um, so if you guys were watching on Facebook, you know what I'm talking about because they were up, they were weird.
1:05:27
SPEAKER_04: Like if the guy could have cut out letters from a magazine cover, you know, like they do in movies like the ransom notes, like that's the kind of weird that I the vibe I got off of this guy.
1:05:37
SPEAKER_04: Um, so we I couldn't even catch any of those to to you know bring to the show, but I discovered by accident for those of you that are on Facebook Messenger, um, I did not know this exists.
1:05:50
SPEAKER_04: So when people send you messages that you are not connected with, it goes into a totally separate like folder, basically.
1:05:59
SPEAKER_04: So you Can go to message requests and it's people will send you a message, but they've got a request for you to read the message, so it goes into this weird space.
1:06:08
SPEAKER_04: I found that the other day, and I found like a half a dozen or so comments reflecting content from this show in the last six months or so that um people were not very friendly.
1:06:21
SPEAKER_04: Um I got those things we were talking about, Joe Kent.
1:06:24
SPEAKER_04: I got called some of those names.
1:06:26
SPEAKER_04: I got called a warmonger, I got called a traitor, I got called weak.
1:06:30
SPEAKER_04: Uh, I got called um somebody said stolen valor.
1:06:35
SPEAKER_04: Um, but like I literally, I was I was like, man, I wanted to go back and find but got them all fired up on the show.
1:06:43
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
1:06:44
SPEAKER_04: So people were direct messaging me on Facebook, sending me these nasty, these I should have kept them and screenshot them.
1:06:50
SPEAKER_04: I deleted them, but I should have yeah, they you know, people were direct messaging me on Facebook and sending me all these all these like awful messages.
1:06:59
SPEAKER_04: I listen, if you have not found this or you have not looked, don't look.
1:07:04
SPEAKER_04: Don't do it, don't do it.
1:07:06
SPEAKER_04: No, yeah.
1:07:07
SPEAKER_02: I so a very long time ago, probably going back like a couple of years now, um, I did accidentally discover the I don't know what they call it, like a hidden folder or something like that.
1:07:18
SPEAKER_02: I don't know what they call it or something.
1:07:20
SPEAKER_02: Like, oh no, it was just message requests, right?
1:07:23
SPEAKER_02: I think it's message requests, yeah.
1:07:25
SPEAKER_02: Um, I don't really know, especially so my page, um, the Elsa Kurt Show page is like a you know a public uh page, a public entity.
1:07:35
SPEAKER_02: So I don't know why some people are allowed to message and others are not.
1:07:39
SPEAKER_02: I don't know what the criteria is for that.
1:07:42
SPEAKER_02: I didn't set it.
1:07:43
SPEAKER_02: Obviously, you didn't set it.
1:07:45
SPEAKER_02: So I don't know why some come through and some don't.
1:07:48
SPEAKER_02: Um frankly, I don't actually care.
1:07:50
SPEAKER_02: It's not something I'm even gonna do uh even a moment's time trying to find out and figure out.
1:07:55
SPEAKER_02: I just know that when I did discover it, kind of like the same kind of thing.
1:07:59
SPEAKER_02: It was like, you know, either like super creepy skeevy messages, you know, that hey, sweetheart uh things that make your skin crawl, uh, or it was the not so nice ones with very, very uh unkind things to say.
1:08:16
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, yeah, this does not benefit my life in any way, shape, or form.
1:08:21
SPEAKER_02: So I think I'm just gonna take a hard pass on that and and not acknowledge.
1:08:25
SPEAKER_02: And um I I see regularly in the regular messages, and I've addressed this before in the past, um, and I always do feel a little bit bad for the the nice, kind people that um for one reason or another choose to send a um private message and messenger.
1:08:43
SPEAKER_02: Um, I have an automatic message that goes out every single time.
1:08:47
SPEAKER_02: And it's um, you know, it's a little bit of a it looks like it's a paragraph, it's probably like just three lines.
1:08:51
SPEAKER_02: Um, but it the the synopsis is is that it's a thank you for reaching out.
1:08:56
SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, I I don't often look at these.
1:08:59
SPEAKER_02: If it's anything important, please feel free to email me.
1:09:02
SPEAKER_02: I give my email address.
1:09:04
SPEAKER_02: Not the most advisable thing, but um, you know, it is, it's whatever.
1:09:09
SPEAKER_02: And um, like kind of the last part of that is just the friendly notice that if this is a threatening, harassing, uh, vulgar uh message, you know, go down the list of those things that there is a a good possibility that this could get turned over to authorities and to and reported to Facebook.
1:09:29
SPEAKER_02: And you could potentially at the very least um, you know, get yourself banned from Facebook and at the very worst, get yourself a knock on your door with an arrest warrant.
1:09:40
SPEAKER_02: You know, it all depends on where you're taking that comment.
1:09:43
SPEAKER_02: So it's just a friendly warning.
1:09:45
SPEAKER_02: And um sometimes poor people when they they read it, they're like, I didn't mean to say anything.
1:09:49
SPEAKER_02: I don't know what I said that that triggered this.
1:09:52
SPEAKER_02: I'm so sorry.
1:09:52
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, no, no, no, it's okay.
1:09:53
SPEAKER_02: And if I see it, I will respond.
1:09:55
SPEAKER_02: Like, it's you didn't do anything, nothing is gonna happen to you.
1:09:59
SPEAKER_02: It's perfectly fine, you know, like but it's I I can tell you this.
1:10:04
SPEAKER_04: I get this when I mess also, I will prefer things, I will forward her things on social media um that I want to share, I want her to share, whatever.
1:10:15
SPEAKER_04: And I have to, I'm lucky enough that I get to text her.
1:10:18
SPEAKER_04: So I text her and say, hey, go to Instagram, but everybody else sees, I get it too.
1:10:25
SPEAKER_04: So it's okay.
1:10:26
SPEAKER_02: It is nothing personal, yeah.
1:10:28
SPEAKER_02: Nothing personal, guys.
1:10:29
SPEAKER_02: It's just um, I I the the comment section is one thing we've talked about many times.
1:10:36
SPEAKER_02: The messages is a whole other ball game, and uh, you know, 90% of it is very kind and encouraging and supportive and uh absolutely wonderful.
1:10:48
SPEAKER_02: And I'm so grateful um that people would even take the time, like you would even take the time is just amazing and and humbling to me.
1:10:55
SPEAKER_02: Um, for that little 10%.
1:10:58
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, y'all need your mouth washed out with soap.
1:11:04
SPEAKER_02: Oh my goodness.
1:11:06
SPEAKER_02: All right, Clay.
1:11:07
SPEAKER_02: That's all I've got.
1:11:08
SPEAKER_02: You got anything else to tell them?
1:11:10
SPEAKER_04: No, folks.
1:11:11
SPEAKER_04: I I you know, I we appreciate you.
1:11:14
SPEAKER_04: You know, we tr we try and pop in on Thursdays when this drops live and you know communicate with you guys.
1:11:19
SPEAKER_04: I at least try and say hi.
1:11:21
SPEAKER_04: Um, people don't interact with me, which is a little weird, but that's they don't interact with me either when I comment.
1:11:28
SPEAKER_04: They're like, I I know they don't think it's us.
1:11:31
SPEAKER_04: I don't know, it really is us.
1:11:32
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but uh you know, we we love you for tuning in.
1:11:36
SPEAKER_04: Um, every week it's a blast.
1:11:38
SPEAKER_04: We love doing this, and uh, you know, we appreciate all of you.
1:11:41
SPEAKER_04: And so until next week, keep moving, keep shooting.
1:11:45
SPEAKER_02: Absolutely, guys.
1:11:46
SPEAKER_02: Take care and we'll see you next week.
1:11:47
SPEAKER_06: The headlines will change by tomorrow, but the patterns won't.
1:11:51
SPEAKER_06: Thanks for spending this time with us.
1:11:54
SPEAKER_06: We'll be back to keep asking the harder questions and telling the quieter truths.
1:11:58
SPEAKER_06: Until then, stay grounded, be discerning, and we'll see you next time.
