O’Neill Out with Shoulder Injury | Baltimore Orioles News
Tyler O’Neill’s hot streak hits a snag as the Orioles place him on the 10-day IL with right shoulder inflammation — a strain he says he tried to play through but can’t ignore. The injury, from a diving catch against Tampa Bay, retroactively dates back to Sunday. O’Neill, frustrated but resilient, admits his relentless effort sometimes catches up to him. He’s slashing .212 with 10 homers and 23 RBIs in 85 games this season. To fill his spot, the Orioles call up infielder Luis Vázquez from Triple-A Norfolk.
