- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome to the Almost Podcast. Today we have
- 0:11Speaker 2: a big name from Grand season on Carolina Sophia. You
- 0:15Speaker 2: may know her as the girl who said I'm crazy
- 0:18Speaker 2: and evil.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Thank you for having me.
- 0:23Speaker 2: That line just repeated over and over again. And I
- 0:27Speaker 2: decided to do so much throughout this season.
- 0:29Speaker 3: You really did. I actually I could not even sleep
- 0:32Speaker 3: last night just listening to everything back because I was like, wait,
- 0:35Speaker 3: I said yes to this podcast. Let me double check
- 0:38Speaker 3: to see, like, well, we need to like get on
- 0:40Speaker 3: the same page on we can have a debate, we
- 0:42Speaker 3: can like I want to where we align. Even if
- 0:44Speaker 3: you had just like talked, that's fine, but I wanted
- 0:46Speaker 3: to see, like where we coincided and where we did it.
- 0:49Speaker 3: And you were very kind to me, and in the
- 0:52Speaker 3: moments that you were annoyed with me, I would have
- 0:54Speaker 3: been annoyed with me too if they were real. They
- 0:56Speaker 3: just weren't real, by the way, but we can guess
- 0:57Speaker 3: that later.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Wow. Actually, let's just get to it now. You just
- 1:00Speaker 2: open the door for It's so fun. Remind everyone, like
- 1:05Speaker 2: why the women supposedly didn't get along with you?
- 1:11Speaker 4: Was the good reason. No, not really.
- 1:15Speaker 5: Let's just let's stay focused on the reason. I want
- 1:18Speaker 5: to hear your response on why you think it happened
- 1:23Speaker 5: the way it happened.
- 1:24Speaker 3: You know, I try to be very nice when we
- 1:26Speaker 3: were filming. I think they were weirdly obsessed with me.
- 1:28Speaker 3: And this is gonna sound bad and I'm gonna get canceled.
- 1:30Speaker 5: This is gonna be like, there's no canceling anymore? Does
- 1:32Speaker 5: it happen?
- 1:33Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:34Speaker 3: It's just like, it's like, why are you literally, why
- 1:38Speaker 3: are you so obsessed with me? If you think that
- 1:39Speaker 3: I'm taking up too much attention, don't give me attention.
- 1:41Speaker 3: I was so ready to be a background person. I
- 1:45Speaker 3: was like, if it's not me, I will see myself out.
- 1:49Speaker 3: And I really do not understand why everyone was so
- 1:54Speaker 3: upset with me.
- 1:55Speaker 2: You actually have a very similar not I actually wouldn't
- 1:59Speaker 2: say vibe, but I think that the girls took you
- 2:02Speaker 2: in the house the way that we took Britt. And
- 2:06Speaker 2: if anybody back, you know, our audience has watched my
- 2:09Speaker 2: season mostly probably, but since you are much younger than I,
- 2:14Speaker 2: I'll say that I believe that we were all just
- 2:18Speaker 2: jealous of her.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I've you said the words.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Like we were like, this girl is so ridiculously pretty,
- 2:27Speaker 2: he is so into her, and then on top of it,
- 2:31Speaker 2: she's like oddly nice, like so nice that it's creeping
- 2:35Speaker 2: us out because you can't be super liked by the
- 2:39Speaker 2: lead so pretty and then also genuinely this nice. And
- 2:43Speaker 2: I think we may have gotten her wrong. I think
- 2:46Speaker 2: that just may have been her when we were all
- 2:48Speaker 2: like just sick, just sick, Well.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Thank you. I actually really appreciate that because I think
- 2:55Speaker 3: that even like the worst that you could get out
- 2:58Speaker 3: of meat, which even me watching a background, like I
- 3:00Speaker 3: can see why that's annoying, is like the negativity or
- 3:03Speaker 3: me saying like how I really felt at certain times.
- 3:06Speaker 3: But I'm like, hasn't that always been a thing though
- 3:08Speaker 3: with the Bachelor, Like the point of it is like,
- 3:10Speaker 3: even though you know you're signing up for this, part
- 3:12Speaker 3: of it is the struggle of how you're really feeling.
- 3:15Speaker 3: And I think that like in the beginning, I remember
- 3:18Speaker 3: night one, I told the producers, everyone's so nice, everyone's
- 3:20Speaker 3: gonna get along. You guys are gonna have the most
- 3:22Speaker 3: boring season ever because everyone's so cool, and everyone had
- 3:25Speaker 3: been sharing their experiences, so I was like, oh, we're
- 3:27Speaker 3: really all just friends, and I really wanted to tell myself.
- 3:31Speaker 3: We are women in like our late twenties early thirties.
- 3:35Speaker 3: We don't see each other as competition, and I'm very
- 3:37Speaker 3: clear that my person is meant for me, and there's
- 3:39Speaker 3: no like it's not because I feel superior. It's more
- 3:41Speaker 3: of like, I'm not in competition with you. So if
- 3:44Speaker 3: that's your man, that's great. If it's mine, that's great.
- 3:46Speaker 3: But like, I really wanted that camaraderie, and it felt
- 3:50Speaker 3: like I'm being fed information and I'm being fed feeling.
- 3:53Speaker 3: So I'm trying to be the same way for my friends,
- 3:56Speaker 3: but somehow my experiences were always negative or like too
- 4:03Speaker 3: like I don't know. It was just like I don't
- 4:06Speaker 3: know why I was so annoying every time that I spoke.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Ben doesn't agree with this, but this is where you know,
- 4:12Speaker 2: we differ a little bit. But I was more easily
- 4:15Speaker 2: persuaded into certain things and Ben is like, absolutely not goodbye.
- 4:19Speaker 4: But that's the thing.
- 4:20Speaker 3: So this is another thing that this isn't fully shown.
- 4:23Speaker 3: But I at the beginning of the season, every time
- 4:25Speaker 3: they'd be like, so how are you girls all feeling,
- 4:27Speaker 3: I'd be like passed. I don't want to answer it
- 4:29Speaker 3: because I don't want to say I'm jealous, but I'm
- 4:31Speaker 3: also not gonna be like I'm so happy, So I
- 4:33Speaker 3: would always be like, I really don't want to share,
- 4:35Speaker 3: and then then the girls would take that out on
- 4:38Speaker 3: me and be like, you don't even want to participate,
- 4:39Speaker 3: like and it's like, so what do you want me
- 4:41Speaker 3: to say? You just want me to lie, to be
- 4:43Speaker 3: agreeable and say what you want me to say.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, see you and I would have gotten
- 4:47Speaker 2: along so well because I got into a fight one
- 4:49Speaker 2: of those weeks because I was like, you, guys, why
- 4:52Speaker 2: are you happy for her?
- 4:54Speaker 4: Why are you You just got a rose? And it's
- 4:56Speaker 4: not being genuine.
- 4:57Speaker 2: We're all jealous and we all want to be right now.
- 5:01Speaker 3: You want to say like I'm happy for you. I
- 5:02Speaker 3: still wish it was me, Like it's like I every
- 5:05Speaker 3: time that I would say something, it was so like
- 5:07Speaker 3: taken out of context, and it was the same thing.
- 5:10Speaker 3: One girl would say, let's stop pretending we're happy for
- 5:12Speaker 3: each other. And then when I would say I there
- 5:15Speaker 3: was a thing that I said, I said, like, I'm
- 5:17Speaker 3: as happy for you as I can be, Like it's
- 5:18Speaker 3: not personally, I'm not I'm not. It's not personal. It's
- 5:21Speaker 3: not you that I don't like going on a date
- 5:23Speaker 3: with him. It's him going on a date with someone
- 5:25Speaker 3: who is at me. But I'm not mad. I'm just
- 5:28Speaker 3: like neutral. But you want to make my neutral negative.
- 5:31Speaker 3: So I don't know what to say.
- 5:33Speaker 2: You guys, if you're seeing a clip of this on Instagram,
- 5:36Speaker 2: like you can see Ben just staring at Caroline and
- 5:39Speaker 2: I justcri and he's like the voice of like sanity,
- 5:43Speaker 2: and we're just like exactly sorry.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I'm literally like on one right now. I just chugged
- 5:47Speaker 3: this like coffee. So Ben, go ahead, I'll let you talk.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Do you completely disagree with me?
- 5:52Speaker 5: Well, first off, hello, it's nice to meet you. This
- 5:59Speaker 5: is why we don't let Ashley open up the podcast.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Yeah one like you guys don't even know the tangent.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I was prepared to go on.
- 6:05Speaker 5: It was gonna be at it. Yeah, you'll get there
- 6:08Speaker 5: at some point. Do I agree with you? I'm more
- 6:11Speaker 5: curious about your situation. And I think it's always interesting
- 6:15Speaker 5: to me how a villain is created or how a
- 6:18Speaker 5: villain is shown on television, and it's never fully what
- 6:23Speaker 5: we see, we've met so many of your quote unquote
- 6:26Speaker 5: villains through this show and through real life. And I
- 6:30Speaker 5: would say, in the ten years we've done this, and
- 6:35Speaker 5: let's let's just call it thirty seasons that we've walked through,
- 6:38Speaker 5: including Paradise, I would say there's three or four that
- 6:43Speaker 5: I would say are legitimate, like, oh, you're not the
- 6:46Speaker 5: best hanging in the world, and everybody else is like, no,
- 6:49Speaker 5: you're great. And then I think there's a few people
- 6:51Speaker 5: that weren't getting the villain at it that I'm like,
- 6:54Speaker 5: you should have one hundred percent been shown out because
- 6:57Speaker 5: you're brutal. I think you're strategy of staying quiet is interesting.
- 7:03Speaker 5: I do see how you saying past could come off
- 7:06Speaker 5: to other contestants as she's not interested in this, she's disconnected,
- 7:12Speaker 5: or maybe she's too good for it. I want to know, though,
- 7:15Speaker 5: from you. We've heard your strategy and kind of what
- 7:19Speaker 5: you were going through, but I want to hear from
- 7:22Speaker 5: you when you felt during the filming of the season
- 7:25Speaker 5: where you looked around and went, oh, crap, I don't
- 7:28Speaker 5: know if people like me or potentially I could be
- 7:32Speaker 5: the villain of this season. Was there that moment where
- 7:36Speaker 5: you realize I might not like the way this is shown.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I want to say I was probably super naive about it,
- 7:44Speaker 3: like I.
- 7:45Speaker 5: That's fair, most most people are. You don't see it.
- 7:48Speaker 3: If I'm being completely honest, I knew that I wasn't
- 7:50Speaker 3: being mean. I'm like, there's still no clips of me
- 7:54Speaker 3: talking about anyone who hasn't come at me, like you
- 7:56Speaker 3: know when they asked you like did you see what
- 7:58Speaker 3: she was wearing? Or like wasn't she like me? And
- 8:00Speaker 3: I was like, I don't care to be involved in
- 8:02Speaker 3: this like petty stuff. So I was like, I, I
- 8:05Speaker 3: don't think that I'm really the villain, and I don't
- 8:07Speaker 3: think that even even in Scotland. After there was a
- 8:11Speaker 3: moment where I thought of it, but then I snapped
- 8:14Speaker 3: out of it because if something else that happened, we
- 8:16Speaker 3: can sortcle back to this later. But yeah, I didn't
- 8:21Speaker 3: realize until the trailer came out and I was like,
- 8:25Speaker 3: but is that cheeky and funny or is it like
- 8:27Speaker 3: I am the villain?
- 8:28Speaker 5: And I want to mention this. I have a soft
- 8:31Speaker 5: spot for villains, not because I feel like I really
- 8:37Speaker 5: was one of them or can relate to your to
- 8:39Speaker 5: having to watch this back on national television. I have
- 8:42Speaker 5: a soft spot for villains because I think I had
- 8:46Speaker 5: exposure to one of the worst. Olivia Creedy was the
- 8:51Speaker 5: villain on my season when I was the bachelor. As
- 8:55Speaker 5: the bachelor.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Yours, I think was the first one that I ever watched.
- 8:59Speaker 5: And she was not a villain and goodness gracious. As
- 9:01Speaker 5: the bachelor, we loved Olivia. She was friendly with everybody,
- 9:05Speaker 5: She was sweet. Yeah, she was more outspoken, and she
- 9:09Speaker 5: was more invested into, like our relationship and definitely took
- 9:12Speaker 5: that and made it a priority over the friendships maybe
- 9:16Speaker 5: on the show, but there was no moment as the
- 9:18Speaker 5: Bachelor that was like, oh goodness, this poor girl is
- 9:21Speaker 5: going to get the villain at it. Yeah, until the
- 9:23Speaker 5: show aired and it crushed her, and I remember going,
- 9:29Speaker 5: this is just not the way it was. And I
- 9:31Speaker 5: think most of the girls in the season stood up
- 9:32Speaker 5: and said that's not the way it was. So I
- 9:35Speaker 5: have a soft spot because I know how this happens,
- 9:39Speaker 5: but it's not always that way. I don't want to
- 9:41Speaker 5: blame editing for all this, because it's sometimes you're like, yeah,
- 9:44Speaker 5: you deserved it, you shouldn't have said that thing. So
- 9:45Speaker 5: I just wondered was there that moment where you said
- 9:48Speaker 5: something that you're like, this probably is not going to
- 9:52Speaker 5: go well.
- 9:53Speaker 3: No, the moment that I felt like I was being
- 9:55Speaker 3: played to potentially be a villain was that moment in
- 9:59Speaker 3: Scotland and where I'm sitting by myself, and that was
- 10:03Speaker 3: completely not my decision. Grant pulled three girls to go
- 10:07Speaker 3: play a game, and so it was me and Serafina
- 10:10Speaker 3: left sitting by herselves, and then a producer pulled Saraphena
- 10:12Speaker 3: for an interview. So they make me seem like I
- 10:15Speaker 3: wasn't participating, which I was. They even do like the
- 10:18Speaker 3: editing where they'd be like where it's like everyone's like
- 10:21Speaker 3: playing a game. If you see the behind the scenes photos,
- 10:24Speaker 3: I'm smiling, throwing my log like I sucked at it,
- 10:26Speaker 3: but I had fun. I was trying my best. So
- 10:29Speaker 3: in that moment where I'm sitting by myself and the
- 10:31Speaker 3: cameras are on me still, I'm like, what's going on?
- 10:35Speaker 3: So when Grant comes to talk to me, I tell
- 10:37Speaker 3: him can't you see him being like played right now?
- 10:39Speaker 3: So he's like, oh, come on whatever, just like join us.
- 10:41Speaker 3: So I go and I join that game that they're
- 10:43Speaker 3: all playing, and they edit it differently, so he comes
- 10:45Speaker 3: and finds me later and at this point I've already
- 10:48Speaker 3: forgotten all about like the potential setup. So he pulls
- 10:51Speaker 3: me and it seems as if I'm pouting in a
- 10:53Speaker 3: corner by myself and just like trying to get his attention,
- 10:57Speaker 3: and that's why he comes over at me. But yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 3: that was like a like I thought of it in
- 11:02Speaker 3: the moment in Scotland, forgot about it, and then watching
- 11:05Speaker 3: it back, I'm like, yep, I was right.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Now we know that you may have gotten along more
- 11:12Speaker 2: than people would have thought. However, I just am guessing
- 11:17Speaker 2: that you didn't necessarily get along well with Juliana because
- 11:20Speaker 2: you don't follow her on Instagram and you said something
- 11:24Speaker 2: on TikTok.
- 11:25Speaker 4: I'm gonna write it.
- 11:28Speaker 2: You said, anyone claiming to be ready for an engagement
- 11:30Speaker 2: with the Bachelor before actually going on in one on
- 11:33Speaker 2: one with that person is probably just trying to win
- 11:35Speaker 2: the Bachelor more than connect with the human. So do
- 11:38Speaker 2: you think that, like Juliana was in it for the game,
- 11:42Speaker 2: what's your relationship? Like, how did you drive with her
- 11:44Speaker 2: during I.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Will be super honest, I never liked her. I don't
- 11:49Speaker 3: I wish her well. I think she was always poking
- 11:52Speaker 3: the bear and she got a really good edit. I
- 11:54Speaker 3: think on her basketball date, I heard she was not
- 11:57Speaker 3: nice to Zoe either, And I've even got and like
- 12:00Speaker 3: messages from people saying they were like part of that
- 12:02Speaker 3: group date and said that she just wasn't a nice person.
- 12:05Speaker 3: The night that the Rose thing happened, she started accusing
- 12:09Speaker 3: Rose of like putting a damper on the night. So
- 12:13Speaker 3: I had to stand up for Rose and be like,
- 12:15Speaker 3: if anything, blame me. And that's why the moment she
- 12:20Speaker 3: approached me, I was like, what are you getting at, Like,
- 12:24Speaker 3: you're just starting drama. I think had someone else come
- 12:28Speaker 3: to me and been like, hey, just so you know,
- 12:29Speaker 3: like we're feeling this type of way and we want
- 12:33Speaker 3: you to fix it, it would have been more constructive.
- 12:35Speaker 3: But she was coming at me saying like just so
- 12:37Speaker 3: you know, we've been talking about you, so I'm just
- 12:39Speaker 3: gonna tell you straight up. So yeah, I don't think
- 12:42Speaker 3: she's the greatest person, and I think she was trying
- 12:45Speaker 3: to start drama and I don't think she There's no
- 12:49Speaker 3: way that she could have that she could have felt
- 12:51Speaker 3: so confident about him being her person if she hadn't
- 12:53Speaker 3: even had a one on one date, Like, that's insane.
- 13:06Speaker 5: Let's switch gears a little bit. We've identified your storyline.
- 13:11Speaker 5: I am curious also about Grant. We just had Grant
- 13:15Speaker 5: on the show. He I don't actually know if it
- 13:20Speaker 5: has happened yet. He was getting ready for the reality
- 13:23Speaker 5: games or something. But Grant was the bachelor of your season.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Give us, if you don't mind two parts. One, explain
- 13:30Speaker 5: Grant to us as the bachelor, and then also what
- 13:33Speaker 5: your attraction or desire to potentially be in a relationship
- 13:37Speaker 5: with him actually was okay.
- 13:40Speaker 3: The Grant that I met, like in the beginning, was
- 13:45Speaker 3: very reserved, and I've heard him say that he felt
- 13:47Speaker 3: like he had this pressure to be the bachelor, And
- 13:49Speaker 3: I remember even on night one, I was like, I
- 13:51Speaker 3: don't even know if there's going to be a connection there.
- 13:54Speaker 3: But I think on that group date where I made
- 13:58Speaker 3: out with him, and on our one on one, we
- 14:00Speaker 3: had so much fun together, and I think that I
- 14:03Speaker 3: felt really like comfortable with him, and it felt like
- 14:05Speaker 3: a like a relationship that could build off a great friendship.
- 14:08Speaker 3: And I felt really flattered that I could see him
- 14:11Speaker 3: opening up really quickly and he would tell me, which
- 14:14Speaker 3: I mean now he probably told everyone that, but he
- 14:16Speaker 3: was like, I feel like I can just stop being
- 14:17Speaker 3: the bachelor with you and just like be myself. So
- 14:19Speaker 3: I think that's how I ended up like kind of
- 14:23Speaker 3: liking him.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Oh that goes into my next question. So we recently
- 14:27Speaker 2: had Lettia on the podcast and she had said on
- 14:31Speaker 2: the show that he called her the one early on,
- 14:35Speaker 2: but on our show she kind of told us even
- 14:38Speaker 2: more that he kept saying and he kept saying like
- 14:41Speaker 2: I love you and I can't wait, you know, for
- 14:42Speaker 2: it to be us in the end.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Did he ever say things like that to you?
- 14:48Speaker 3: I was listening to that episode yeah, on the way here,
- 14:52Speaker 3: and I was genuinely like cackling because I think Grant
- 14:56Speaker 3: is just like a misunderstood diva. Like I'm a fan
- 14:58Speaker 3: of Grant. I think that he is just like genuinely
- 15:01Speaker 3: not about person. I just think he's so not self
- 15:03Speaker 3: aware because I listened to him and I think this
- 15:05Speaker 3: man is convinced that he didn't say those things to people. Yeah,
- 15:09Speaker 3: the way that he says like, oh, it would be
- 15:11Speaker 3: dumb of me to say this while I'm miked, I'm like,
- 15:13Speaker 3: Grant be so for real, like the things that he
- 15:15Speaker 3: said to me. Also while might crazy, like I don't
- 15:18Speaker 3: know if he told Letti that she was the one,
- 15:20Speaker 3: but he was also telling me a lot of things
- 15:22Speaker 3: miked and on Mike, and I would still tell him like,
- 15:25Speaker 3: tone it down because it's a lot, and then he
- 15:28Speaker 3: would still continue to do it. He didn't call me
- 15:31Speaker 3: the one, I will say, but he he was like,
- 15:33Speaker 3: oh when he meet my family, and then he would
- 15:36Speaker 3: make like is.
- 15:37Speaker 5: This what they call love bombing?
- 15:39Speaker 3: Absolutely?
- 15:40Speaker 5: Absolutely, I'm still trying to get my terminology always right
- 15:44Speaker 5: on this show and keeping up with the young'uns.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Well, I think I think the whole bosis of the
- 15:49Speaker 3: Bachelor is so accelerated that it is inevitably kind of
- 15:52Speaker 3: love bombing. But it's like, yeah, then don't do it
- 15:54Speaker 3: to every girl, like yeah, be polite, be nice, Like
- 15:58Speaker 3: my crash out was because he had said so much
- 16:02Speaker 3: on that one on one and then me finding out
- 16:03Speaker 3: that like he's kind of saying the same thing to everyone,
- 16:06Speaker 3: and I'm like, wait, do I need to like really
- 16:08Speaker 3: back in, like what's going on? And I felt played. Honestly,
- 16:12Speaker 3: I don't think I would have been a villain if
- 16:13Speaker 3: we had a good Bachelor.
- 16:15Speaker 5: Oh wait, whoa, You're a fan of Grant, but you
- 16:18Speaker 5: don't think he was a good I'm.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Like, ironically a fan of Grant, Like I don't.
- 16:24Speaker 4: I love her.
- 16:25Speaker 3: I love her, Like I think Grant is so unaware
- 16:28Speaker 3: of how funny he is that I like, like I
- 16:32Speaker 3: watched his tiktoks that I'm like slaty Eva like yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 3: like I love him, I'm obsessed with him.
- 16:38Speaker 2: You love him as entertainment and he's giving you non
- 16:41Speaker 2: intentional entertainment, right.
- 16:44Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, he didn't come off that way. Here's what's interesting.
- 16:47Speaker 5: We don't have to dive into he didn't come off
- 16:49Speaker 5: that way on The Bachelor, Like he didn't come off
- 16:54Speaker 5: as that kind of like really expressive.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Right, he's not being very expressive, like he doesn't. I mean,
- 17:02Speaker 3: I guess his dances or his I don't know. I
- 17:04Speaker 3: just think all I'm saying is he's unintentionally funny, Like
- 17:07Speaker 3: he's not being comedic on TikTok. Would you say it's.
- 17:12Speaker 4: The lack of Selvi.
- 17:13Speaker 3: It's like it's like the fact that he's so convinced
- 17:15Speaker 3: that he's a good guy. And I don't think he's
- 17:17Speaker 3: a bad guy either. It's just more of like a
- 17:19Speaker 3: oh my god, like you can't be serious.
- 17:22Speaker 5: So what do you think about this celibacy journey?
- 17:24Speaker 4: I mean.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Cool, I'm more concerned about the the dating advice, like
- 17:32Speaker 3: so for real, babe, like what but like love him
- 17:37Speaker 3: genuinely like big band so funny.
- 17:40Speaker 2: So have you spoken to him since the show or
- 17:42Speaker 2: since the split?
- 17:43Speaker 3: No? No, But the other day I was out with
- 17:46Speaker 3: a guy that I liked who was also loved bombing
- 17:48Speaker 3: me and then that also ended very quickly by the way,
- 17:50Speaker 3: shout out to him if he watches this, and he was.
- 17:54Speaker 3: We facetimed Grant. We tried calling Grant like twenty times
- 17:57Speaker 3: and he was like, are you not embarrassed? Like Grant
- 17:58Speaker 3: saying I thin you're upsets with him? Like no, this
- 18:00Speaker 3: is hilarious. And Grant tried answering, but he it wasn't
- 18:03Speaker 3: like connecting.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Okay, So Carolyna, I have to go into this just
- 18:07Speaker 2: because you just gave me the window. Did you don't
- 18:10Speaker 2: have a boyfriend anymore?
- 18:11Speaker 3: No, not anymore, like it was never a boyfriend.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Did you have a boyfriend over the summer that you
- 18:16Speaker 2: got married to fake?
- 18:17Speaker 1: No?
- 18:17Speaker 3: No, it was it was a fake wedding.
- 18:20Speaker 4: That was a fake wedding to a friend.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Yeah, oh okay, wait, wait, well no, don't just skip
- 18:26Speaker 5: over the what do you mean?
- 18:30Speaker 2: Okay, so you got married in a fake wedding over
- 18:33Speaker 2: the summer.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Was it like a sponsored thing?
- 18:36Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, it's like a party that they're throwing in
- 18:39Speaker 3: different countries, And in Puerto Rico it was like, okay,
- 18:44Speaker 3: who do we pick for this? And it was kind
- 18:45Speaker 3: of like iconic that the girl who failed at an engagement,
- 18:48Speaker 3: you know, would be part of it. So I said,
- 18:53Speaker 3: sign me up.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Okay. Funny.
- 18:54Speaker 4: So you.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Have not had a relationship since to the show. Okay,
- 19:01Speaker 2: so then you have a childhood crush quote quote childhood
- 19:05Speaker 2: on Jo Jonas.
- 19:06Speaker 5: I'm going to check out for the next fifteen minutes.
- 19:09Speaker 2: God, like we could have like our own episode if
- 19:11Speaker 2: you'd like about Jojonas, because I would love to, because like,
- 19:14Speaker 2: I'm not sure if you know that I'm you know, yeah,
- 19:17Speaker 2: I saw the eighteen years of of.
- 19:19Speaker 3: That, but you're married, so just let me have him.
- 19:22Speaker 2: I'm just really glad that I'm married because every time
- 19:24Speaker 2: I go to a show and it's okay, like maybe
- 19:27Speaker 2: going to my fourth of the tour tomorrow, I'm just
- 19:30Speaker 2: really glad that I'm married because I would be absolutely
- 19:32Speaker 2: mentally ill. No, I am mentally ill, Like I wouldn't
- 19:35Speaker 2: be able to go on a date with anyone else.
- 19:38Speaker 2: So okay, so I love that this past year. How
- 19:42Speaker 2: are you doing? How are you doing being single? During
- 19:44Speaker 2: the Greetings from your Hometown show?
- 19:47Speaker 3: So this is the thing. It's so peaceful not having
- 19:49Speaker 3: a crush, like I don't. I don't go to bed
- 19:51Speaker 3: thinking about just a lot. But now it's like I
- 19:56Speaker 3: go to bed and I'm like, like, I wish I
- 19:57Speaker 3: was just like cuddling with Jojonas right now, which is
- 20:00Speaker 3: so psychotic. But I think my obsession is less healthy
- 20:03Speaker 3: than it was when I was like fourteen.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I've been pretty unhealthy throughout the entire eighteen years. So yeah,
- 20:10Speaker 2: but like, can you believe what he's been like like
- 20:13Speaker 2: one hottest he's ever been, two funnies he's ever been.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Well, no, he was always funny, that's the thing.
- 20:19Speaker 2: He has always been funny, but he's been like really
- 20:21Speaker 2: relaxed lately.
- 20:23Speaker 3: People didn't get that, and that's why that's I think
- 20:25Speaker 3: that's why it's hard for me to date men because
- 20:27Speaker 3: I don't like anyone's personality is the way that I
- 20:29Speaker 3: love my parasocial relationship.
- 20:32Speaker 2: With the parasocial relationship with.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Back in the day. Do you remember, oh, how the
- 20:38Speaker 3: tables at tours?
- 20:39Speaker 4: Of course I have, I know all them.
- 20:41Speaker 3: The're iconic.
- 20:42Speaker 4: He's always been.
- 20:44Speaker 2: So so funny, and it's always been his personality that's
- 20:46Speaker 2: made him so attractive.
- 20:48Speaker 3: And now he's even hotter.
- 20:49Speaker 2: But now he's even physically hotter, And like, I think
- 20:52Speaker 2: that there was a time where he was way more
- 20:54Speaker 2: reserved and now he's just big, big bong.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Okay, well, I I think I've always perceived him as
- 21:01Speaker 3: being being bombed. It almost makes me mad that now
- 21:03Speaker 3: people want to hop on this bandwagon. I'm like, no,
- 21:06Speaker 3: I've been here this whole time.
- 21:08Speaker 2: I know, all right, So I just wanted to let
- 21:11Speaker 2: you know that, Like, I feel like you could probably
- 21:15Speaker 2: make your way in on that. I know that he
- 21:17Speaker 2: is kind of seeing someone, but like, I also don't
- 21:20Speaker 2: know how.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Serious it is, And I mean, it's Joe Jonahs. I
- 21:24Speaker 3: love him, but you know, I might not last that
- 21:26Speaker 3: long and I'm always here for a rebound if he's
- 21:32Speaker 3: that's right.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Okay, I'm just like really glad we can bond over
- 21:35Speaker 2: this like, let's dm like each other some some Instagram reels.
- 21:38Speaker 3: If I were to have had a meeting with ABC,
- 21:41Speaker 3: I would have been like, can you make this happen
- 21:45Speaker 3: if there is any potential of If they had asked like, oh,
- 21:50Speaker 3: what would you want this to look like? Who would
- 21:53Speaker 3: you want to see? I'd be like the Jonahs brothers
- 21:55Speaker 3: and they would have said, like, oh, we have relationship
- 21:57Speaker 3: with them.
- 21:57Speaker 2: They certainly do have a relationship with her, I know
- 22:00Speaker 2: with the Hulu Disney Plus combo.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Did you see the movie yet?
- 22:03Speaker 1: Oh?
- 22:04Speaker 4: Yeah, fantastic.
- 22:06Speaker 5: Hey, speaking of Rebounds Paradise, we didn't see you in Paradise.
- 22:10Speaker 5: We would expect you to be in Paradise, but you
- 22:12Speaker 5: weren't there. Why were you not there?
- 22:14Speaker 3: M that's a great question.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Who would you want to date?
- 22:18Speaker 5: It there?
- 22:18Speaker 3: That's a thing like who would I like? Can they
- 22:20Speaker 3: get me?
- 22:21Speaker 2: Jo?
- 22:21Speaker 3: Jonas?
- 22:22Speaker 2: Like, I mean, Jonathan would have been your closest bet,
- 22:25Speaker 2: I mean you know what I mean.
- 22:27Speaker 3: I don't know that. I do know what you mean,
- 22:29Speaker 3: and I love Jonathan, but like Jonathan, I adore you genuinely.
- 22:36Speaker 4: The closest you would get as far as like your type.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Yeah, my type is josonas. Yes, basically I haven't. I
- 22:42Speaker 3: don't really have a type, but personality I need. I
- 22:45Speaker 3: need big, big bong.
- 22:46Speaker 1: You know.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Well in that case, not Jonathan, No, no, no.
- 23:00Speaker 5: Carolina, you weren't in paradise. The show was I don't
- 23:05Speaker 5: even know if we can call it rough for you.
- 23:07Speaker 5: It reminded me a lot of like krin Olympio's like
- 23:10Speaker 5: storyline where you're not really a villain, but you're like
- 23:14Speaker 5: polarizing and people don't really know how to feel.
- 23:16Speaker 3: But she at least got more love and she got
- 23:18Speaker 3: more clout. Like I was like, what did I get
- 23:20Speaker 3: out of this?
- 23:21Speaker 5: Well, you went on. You came on the show at
- 23:23Speaker 5: a different time than her too, The show was more,
- 23:26Speaker 5: had a ton more viewers. She also had a very
- 23:29Speaker 5: popular Bachelor as her bachelor, and I think people really
- 23:34Speaker 5: like I think that helps when it comes to, you know,
- 23:37Speaker 5: the cloud that comes to the contestants. Also, she went
- 23:39Speaker 5: on a bunch of other shows, which we're going to
- 23:42Speaker 5: get to after her time on the show.
- 23:45Speaker 3: By the way, before we move on, before I forget,
- 23:46Speaker 3: can I just say the reason why mess I screwed
- 23:49Speaker 3: myself over was because because I want to make sure
- 23:51Speaker 3: this gets across the right way. I wasn't willing to
- 23:54Speaker 3: lie to anyone or manipulate anyone for the clout. I'm
- 23:57Speaker 3: just saying, when you look back, you're like, damn, I
- 24:00Speaker 3: should just pretend it to be fully into him so
- 24:02Speaker 3: that I could just stay longer and then at least
- 24:04Speaker 3: benefit from the brand deals. Just so we're clear, I
- 24:07Speaker 3: wasn't willing to do that. I'm not.
- 24:09Speaker 4: The transparency is so wonderful.
- 24:13Speaker 3: No, No, like I it's true, like you know that
- 24:16Speaker 3: you could get opportunities, but I that's that was my
- 24:20Speaker 3: self sabotage, was being so open about like I'm not
- 24:22Speaker 3: willing to stay here if this guy isn't treating me
- 24:24Speaker 3: right just for the sake of TV. So okay, so sorry.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Go ahead. I guess. With all that being said, my question,
- 24:32Speaker 5: in the simplest form is do you feel back to yourself?
- 24:36Speaker 5: Do you feel healthy again? And now looking back on
- 24:40Speaker 5: this whole experience, are you still glad you did it?
- 24:44Speaker 3: I don't. I don't regret doing it, and now like
- 24:47Speaker 3: I would do it again. I'm like, if I survived this,
- 24:51Speaker 3: I don't know if this is toxic of me, but
- 24:52Speaker 3: I I was so sad and so like not even
- 24:56Speaker 3: wanting to consider like reality shows or whatever. Now I'm like,
- 25:00Speaker 3: what sign me up?
- 25:02Speaker 5: Interesting?
- 25:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:03Speaker 5: I mean I do think there's opportunities for you out
- 25:05Speaker 5: there with some of these shows that Karinn has done,
- 25:08Speaker 5: if they still exist, some of those like villain shows
- 25:11Speaker 5: or some of those more like those shows out a
- 25:13Speaker 5: little crazier perfect Match House of Villain like those things
- 25:18Speaker 5: are really popular, and definitely I think they actually talking
- 25:24Speaker 5: to a current about it. I actually felt like she
- 25:26Speaker 5: felt more herself in those at times, and sometimes it
- 25:30Speaker 5: we even went too far in a direction she didn't
- 25:34Speaker 5: want it to because it was so wild and she
- 25:36Speaker 5: was actually the reserved one. So I do think those
- 25:38Speaker 5: opportunities would be really good for you. And if you
- 25:41Speaker 5: is listening that cast for those shows, please consider currently not.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Me, please, Yeah, I would do it. I think I
- 25:51Speaker 3: learned a lot. I don't regret it. I don't think
- 25:54Speaker 3: that it could go any worse for me truly, So
- 25:59Speaker 3: bring it on.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Hm.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Did you reach out to any other villains like my
- 26:03Speaker 2: friend Sidney was the villain this season before? Did anybody
- 26:07Speaker 2: reach out to you?
- 26:09Speaker 3: Shane reached out to me, okay, which was nice. Yeah,
- 26:14Speaker 3: but no one I don't, and if someone did, and
- 26:18Speaker 3: I'm forgetting them, I'm so sorry. No one that I
- 26:21Speaker 3: can remember being a villain.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I'm sorry I didn't because yeah I didn't.
- 26:27Speaker 4: I know, so sorry we did.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I would defecting a lot here. Thank you so much.
- 26:33Speaker 3: That was very sweet. You also weren't a villain though, No,
- 26:36Speaker 3: you were just a crier.
- 26:38Speaker 5: So was that?
- 26:38Speaker 3: Okay, we'd crash out, It's fine.
- 26:42Speaker 5: We did have Zachary reality on who mentioned that you
- 26:45Speaker 5: guys had a friendship, but that friendship had wayne for
- 26:48Speaker 5: a bit and I felt like it was trying to
- 26:50Speaker 5: get back on.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Uh, we're good again.
- 26:53Speaker 5: You guys are good. You love Zach like we think
- 26:56Speaker 5: he's He's an incredible commentator for these real So you
- 27:02Speaker 5: guys are good again.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I think I want to wrap this up by asking
- 27:06Speaker 2: you if, if you weren't the villain of your season,
- 27:11Speaker 2: who secretly was. I mean, you kind of alluded to
- 27:15Speaker 2: Juliana of not being as nice as.
- 27:18Speaker 3: I think Juliana, Zoe and Grant, but Grant didn't mean
- 27:22Speaker 3: to be. But he's just like so Grant, you know, wait,
- 27:25Speaker 3: how is Zoe? I think Zoe is a very judgmental person,
- 27:31Speaker 3: and even then, I think people try, Like I remember
- 27:35Speaker 3: hearing about how she was treated on her date where
- 27:38Speaker 3: she did actually steal him, and I was like, not cool,
- 27:42Speaker 3: But I still would have defended her because it feels
- 27:45Speaker 3: shitty to be attacked, And I remember trying to be
- 27:49Speaker 3: nice to her, like I remember there was a day
- 27:51Speaker 3: where she was concerned about like in Spain, when she
- 27:55Speaker 3: had extra time with Grant. She came back and she
- 27:59Speaker 3: was like, just do you guys know, like she was
- 28:01Speaker 3: kind of freaking out a little bit. She was like,
- 28:02Speaker 3: I even if even though it seems like I was
- 28:04Speaker 3: gone for a long time, like it wasn't long. Like
- 28:06Speaker 3: she was very concerned about how the group would perceive
- 28:10Speaker 3: her time, and I was like, don't worry about it,
- 28:12Speaker 3: Like no one was talking about it. Everyone's just like tired,
- 28:15Speaker 3: like no one's So I tried, like I don't not
- 28:19Speaker 3: that we were friends, but I tried being nice to her,
- 28:21Speaker 3: And then she still came at me for the dumbest thing.
- 28:23Speaker 3: She called me out for taking a nap on the couch,
- 28:25Speaker 3: where it's like, why do you care so much if
- 28:28Speaker 3: I took a nap on the couch and why are
- 28:30Speaker 3: you like coming at me and saying like like the
- 28:34Speaker 3: things that she was saying in Scotland, where it's like
- 28:37Speaker 3: purposely excluding me from a conversation, being super judgmental towards me,
- 28:40Speaker 3: and then even on social media still being like weird
- 28:44Speaker 3: about me. I tried telling her, like I tried complimenting
- 28:46Speaker 3: her and being like, never thought we'd agree because everyone
- 28:51Speaker 3: knows we don't agree on anything. But like you go girl,
- 28:53Speaker 3: like trying to be like offer that I'm not gonna
- 28:56Speaker 3: be fake and suddenly be like, you know, like I
- 28:59Speaker 3: know we've never been friends, but you go o girl,
- 29:01Speaker 3: and she's like yeah weird. Like I'm just like, why
- 29:04Speaker 3: are you like mean? Like I just don't I'm just
- 29:05Speaker 3: like okay whatever. She went on another podcast saying that
- 29:10Speaker 3: I was annoying for taking pictures. It's like when I
- 29:13Speaker 3: saw you taking pictures, that's when I asked for pictures
- 29:15Speaker 3: of myself, Like you were taking pictures first, what do
- 29:19Speaker 3: you mean? Like even I just don't think that. Like,
- 29:21Speaker 3: if you don't like somebody because of little quirks that
- 29:24Speaker 3: they have, you should go on a podcast and just
- 29:26Speaker 3: blast them like that and the way like she would
- 29:28Speaker 3: just come at me for little things. It's like I
- 29:30Speaker 3: didn't seal her time, I didn't do anything to her,
- 29:32Speaker 3: so I think she was just like petty. Those are
- 29:34Speaker 3: the people.
- 29:36Speaker 2: I could have seen them flipping in on her too.
- 29:39Speaker 3: I thought she was gonna be the villain the whole time.
- 29:41Speaker 5: But I don't know whatever you got that, you got
- 29:45Speaker 5: that honor clearing me. You have the honor of that
- 29:48Speaker 5: title from yourself so much.
- 29:49Speaker 3: ABC. I love you.
- 29:51Speaker 5: Yeah, next question for you, and my final question is
- 29:56Speaker 5: what is life? What do you hope life looks like?
- 29:59Speaker 5: H kind of in the next few years for you?
- 30:01Speaker 5: Coming off of this show? You do you know have
- 30:04Speaker 5: a following now you will get a ton of press
- 30:07Speaker 5: from this interview. I promise you that what if anybody
- 30:12Speaker 5: listens that could support you, help you, or at least
- 30:16Speaker 5: have you a part of their projects. What are you
- 30:19Speaker 5: hoping comes in the next few years of your life?
- 30:22Speaker 3: Ooh project wise? Oh, this is like a lot of
- 30:25Speaker 3: pressure to answer on the spot.
- 30:28Speaker 5: Let me think, well, I know one you want to
- 30:30Speaker 5: go on these shows, any spin off show, you'd be
- 30:32Speaker 5: very interested in doing it.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Thank you. I love hosting. Like I don't know if
- 30:37Speaker 3: this was even shown on the show, but I used
- 30:39Speaker 3: to be a TV reporter, like I would loved how
- 30:41Speaker 3: we were talking about that before you came on. Yeah,
- 30:44Speaker 3: I would love that. If anyone needs a host, let
- 30:46Speaker 3: me know. I don't know literally anything like hit me up.
- 30:50Speaker 3: I'm so for an adventure.
- 30:53Speaker 5: I would say this, Carolina, you will be perfect on
- 30:56Speaker 5: some of these really fun spin off shows like House
- 30:58Speaker 5: of Villain and any of these they're cool things that
- 31:00Speaker 5: we love to watch people do, and beyond that I
- 31:03Speaker 5: could never be a part of because they're saying yes
- 31:06Speaker 5: to things that I.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Because he's far too sane, because he has all of
- 31:10Speaker 2: his marbles always.
- 31:13Speaker 5: I think it'd just be fun. It's fun, it's fun
- 31:16Speaker 5: to watch, and I think you'd be great at it.
- 31:18Speaker 5: Thank you, Carolina. You're a pleasure, and so are you guys.
- 31:25Speaker 3: You guys are even more likable talking to you, like,
- 31:28Speaker 3: not in person, but you know virtually than I could
- 31:31Speaker 3: have even imagined.
- 31:32Speaker 4: So do you watch the show at all anymore?
