My heart pounds, my strength fails, and even the light of my eyes has faded. — Psalm 38:10

True strength begins where our own strength runs out, for God has chosen weakness as the place where His power shines. Honest confession of exhaustion is genuine faith, the humble dependence that receives sufficient grace. Covenant faithfulness means the everlasting arms are underneath us long before we feel ourselves falling.
