And we're gonna go through some articles of the week. We're gonna talk about what we're watching on TV, all the good things. Alright. Get them started. Memorial Day plans.
• 2:42
Speaker 4: Well, I'm going to a Brown graduation, so that's my I'm excited. Yep. I'm excited. It seems like yesterday that she just started, but, I think, Rhode Island's gonna be a little chilly this weekend. So I was just looking through my vast closet and deciding what sweaters and what pants to take, and I'll take a, I guess, a jacket of some sort because it's only supposed to be in the low sixties, and most of it is outdoors.
• 3:07
Speaker 3: I can't remember. Obviously, I knew what I wore to graduation, like a white dress. You wore a white dress. Family members. Do you dress up?
• 3:14
Speaker 4: Not not really. The only time we did get dressed for your graduation was the Saturday night you had that fun party with the other girls Right. In that space. And we did dress up. We wore a little dressier pair of pants and a and dressy for Ithaca.
• 3:29
Yeah. Ithaca, really. Anything could be dressy for Ithaca.
• 3:32
Speaker 3: So you're gonna and then what do you do
• 3:34
Speaker 4: when you're there? Like dinners? Well, think the first night we're having pizza party, just her small group of friends. No. She said it's gonna be hundreds of people.
• 3:44
Well, I don't know who's going then. All I know is we're going for a pizza party.
• 3:48
Speaker 3: She said something. I don't remember who was that. Something she said it's a giant party with hundreds of people.
• 3:52
Speaker 4: Well, I think that's Saturday night, but I'm not but I'm not sure. Saturday night, I think is a big party with like the whole senior class or a bunch of the girls that she's friendly with. And during the day, there's a smaller graduation, which you had the same thing. You had a smaller graduation- Right,
• 4:08
Speaker 3: like for your major.
• 4:09
Speaker 4: Exactly, and then you end up with a big graduation, which they're having on Sunday. So it's a whole thing is outdoors, and I'm very excited.
• 4:17
Speaker 3: And you go for
• 4:18
Speaker 4: two nights? Well, I'm staying two nights, yeah. Your uncle is staying three nights. He they're getting up even a little earlier.
• 4:26
Speaker 3: But you've visited her at Brown? Yes. And you stay at the same place or no?
• 4:30
Speaker 4: Well, we didn't stay last time. We just went we went up on the train. I remember my train fiasco. I I think I talked about it where was it supposed to be a two and a half hour train ride to Rhode Island and it took four and a half. Exactly.
• 4:42
Speaker 3: It's never. People are always like, oh, it's so easy. Like, what actually It easy.
• 4:46
Speaker 4: It is easy, but the train tracks are so old going on all these trains. Mean, that is one thing. Or what? No. It's just slow.
• 4:54
They can't go through. They're not the fast track. If you're in Europe, you go on the trains and you get there in two seconds. Yeah. These all the tracks are slow.
• 5:02
The trains probably could go as fast as as any train Yeah. Could go, but they can't go faster than the track allows them. Yeah. So I don't
• 5:10
Speaker 3: even know. I'm sure we'll get to this later, because I feel like some of our questions from our listeners were about this. But, like, what is even a convenient summer weekend trip from New York?
• 5:20
Speaker 4: Oh, there are lots of them. For me, I mean, you could go up to you could certainly go to any of the places, like Rhode Island, which is great fun. Is that
• 5:30
Speaker 3: summer? Well, Nantucket. But what do you do what's Rhode Island? Rhode Island. Newport?
• 5:34
Oh, that's in Rhode Island. You're right. I forgot.
• 5:36
Speaker 4: Of course. You see all the beautiful castles or the homes with beautiful
• 5:40
Speaker 3: that because my friend's wedding
• 5:42
Speaker 4: Oh, I love Rhode Island.
• 5:43
Speaker 3: At the end of
• 5:44
Speaker 4: the September old synagogue, which is the oldest synagogue in The United States.
• 5:48
Speaker 3: I went to see that with my two, like, super waspy friends. I was like, I need to go to the synagogue. My grandma told me to go to the synagogue, and they came with me and took pictures.
• 5:55
Speaker 4: Well, it's one of the landmarks, really. So, I mean, it's not like, you know, I think people do go to see it. It's like going to a church. You know? It's it's it's an iconic building in that area.
• 6:06
Yeah. So I think there's lots to do, and there's lots to do in Upstate New York. True. Beautiful this time of the year. I mean, you know, take a weekend in the Poconos or in the Catskills or I went to a wonderful place in Upstate New York with my friends last year.
• 6:24
I can't think of the spa, but it there's so many things to Washington, Connecticut. There's lots of stuff to do. It's the beginning of summer. So, unfortunately, and I'm gonna say this to be negative, and I'm not a weatherman, it's never really nice Memorial Day. It gets nice and chilled up in the North.
• 6:40
Yeah. June. Not the of June.
• 6:43
Speaker 3: The end of June. It depends. Like you could have a really nice day, but like consistent good weather. Correct.
• 6:48
  Speaker 4: July and August.
• 6:48
Speaker 3: It's not until July.
• 6:49
Speaker 4: And then September and October in the most gorgeous. Yeah. But when everybody's already back to work on full time basis. Right.
• 6:56
Speaker 3: Well, I'm going to LA this weekend.
• 6:58
Speaker 4: Oh, fun. Kinda last minute.
• 6:58
Speaker 3: For weekend? For the weekend. What? My boyfriend has off on Monday, so I thought it was like a good time because we can do more activities and stuff. I don't know.
• 7:08
I mean, it's, like, easy enough, I guess.
• 7:11
Speaker 4: Well, it's really not easy. Really not Long. But The flight is long, and there's a time difference.
• 7:16
Speaker 3: Once I'm there, it's fine. Okay. So we made some reservations and stuff, but it's supposed to be, like, really good weather.
• 7:23
Speaker 4: Oh, I think yeah. California is really nice now.
• 7:25
Speaker 3: Yeah. What does, like, a perfect Memorial Day look like to you, like, day up?
• 7:31
Speaker 4: No. Just a barbecue. Just a barbecue. You know, you put your flags out or you go in town and you and you watch the the parade. Even in East Hampton, when I'm out there, they have, the fire engines come out and the police cars come out and they go down Main Street and the kids are all waving the flags.
• 7:47
It's it's first of it's an iconic weekend, and it's the beginning of summer, and you are paying respect to our for our heroes of the past. So I think it's really a really something that we should celebrate.
• 8:01
Speaker 3: If you go to a Memorial Day barbecue, what's the side dish that you're bringing?
• 8:07
  Speaker 2: I go Or
• 8:08
Speaker 3: that you're putting up.
• 8:08
Speaker 4: I think probably well, I like hot dogs and hamburgers. So it would either be baked beans, which I love Never seen you eat that ever. Love baked. I used to eat it all the time. Well, I haven't made a barbecue in a long time or coleslaw or potato salad
• 8:22
Speaker 3: That's or more on brand.
• 8:25
Speaker 4: I you know, I happen to love baked beans with little brown sugar in it don't and you eat that.
• 8:32
Speaker 3: Well Or put that out.
• 8:33
Speaker 4: I haven't had a barbecue at my house in a long time.
• 8:35
Speaker 3: I guess. But I've definitely seen you eating
• 8:39
Speaker 4: Well, coleslaw. Coleslaw. I love coleslaw.
• 8:41
Speaker 3: It's probably not that hard to make, though. I've seen that on TikTok.
• 8:44
Speaker 4: I'm sure nothing is hard to make if you concentrate, but we're not very good at cutting. Yeah. We had a problem cutting lettuce for a Waldorf salad.
• 8:51
Speaker 3: True. Yeah. If anyone missed that video, we did a collab with Healthy Girl Kitchen, Danielle Brown, who just came out with a cookbook, and we made a healthy version of a Waldorf salad. We could just I was
• 9:05
Speaker 4: cutting the grapes and cutting all those little things.
• 9:08
Speaker 3: We're not It's not that hard. I just I'm not doing it, like, quick speed.
• 9:11
Speaker 4: No. Well, you're not supposed to. Your finger will get cut off.
• 9:14
Speaker 3: I guess. Okay. Let's answer some of those listener questions I was talking about about Memorial Day weekend. It's okay. We got a lot in, so we're going to answer the rest on our Instagram stories.
• 9:29
So look out for those if you're listening. Okay. How long should parents stay while visiting their kids from out of town? Well, I think that that depends on
• 9:40
Speaker 4: the relationship. I if they've made a trip to coming from out of town, you certainly are gonna stay through probably Monday. You know, from a lot of people leave work Thursday and then Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and then Monday after lunch, probably, people depart.
• 9:56
Speaker 3: I feel like more than four nights starts to feel like a lot.
• 9:59
Speaker 4: It depends on your room.
• 10:00
  Speaker 3: And your relationship.
• 10:01
Speaker 4: Right. You have If you have a place where they have their own room and they're not sleeping in a pullout sofa somewhere, then I think it doesn't really matter, but it depends on the relationship of all the characters. I'm Yeah. Always careful. You don't wanna overstate.
• 10:16
My grandfather used to keep his hat on because he was never sure somebody would tell him he should That's funny. She's ready to go. He was always ready to go.
• 10:27
Speaker 3: I feel like in all the old movies, they'd have, like, hat stans. Oh,
• 10:31
Speaker 4: yeah. Well, they were never see that anymore. Men because men men never went out in public without a hat, and women too as well wore hats because it was just it was like the thing with gloves.
• 10:42
Speaker 3: Is it like modesty, or what was it?
• 10:44
Speaker 4: I don't know. I think it was just a traditional mode of dressing. People just wore hats and they felt
• 10:50
Speaker 3: they When you were how like, little or even when you were
• 10:53
Speaker 4: No. When I was little. I think my grandparents wore a hat and my mother they all wore little hats. We never went to a synagogue without wearing covering
• 11:03
  Speaker 3: That our
• 11:03
Speaker 4: makes sense. But now, you know, you don't or you wear a little bit of a lace thing in the back of your hair just to be modest. But you know that so many of those dress codes have changed that you can't really generalize anything. Now, you're wearing a hat like we saw in the Met costume gala, they were all wearing it as a part of the outfit and it's fabulous. Yeah.
• 11:24
  So, you know, it's it's a look.
• 11:26
Speaker 3: Yeah. Less about, like Less about more practicality or Exactly. Exactly. What about going to the beach when you were little? Like, were people in bikinis and stuff
• 11:36
Speaker 4: Oh, sure. Now? Oh, Well, I was in a bikini all the time because I had a yellow polka dot bikini. Like No question. I mean, yes.
• 11:44
The song came out though. Weren't revealing your tushy like they are today. They were just like almost like wearing underwear and a bra, but most girls wore bikinis. I mean, look was that was the look of the of the fifties and the sixties. Right.
• 12:03
Speaker 3: But I feel like, yeah, different style kinda.
• 12:05
Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. But not as revealing as today. Actually, they were they were quite pretty. And I always loved the one piece suit that was cut nicely around the bodice. It it's still very flattering.
• 12:16
Speaker 3: Mhmm. Someone asked what bag do you take on a European vacation? Something safe or something cute?
• 12:22
Speaker 4: I think you take something safe with zippers. And hopefully you put inside the larger bag, maybe a smaller little thing where you can take out it and leave the bigger one in the room. Mhmm. And that just take your key and some money or your credit card at night.
• 12:38
Speaker 3: Do you have a large bag with a zipper that you like?
• 12:41
Speaker 4: Yeah, I do actually. I have a bunch of them.
• 12:43
  Speaker 3: Oh really?
• 12:43
Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't go Are nice ones?
• 12:46
Speaker 3: I have- I feel like my travel bags don't have zipper or not my like my big my tote bags. Like, they don't have zippers. If So I stole one from you, but otherwise.
• 12:56
Speaker 4: I I think that it makes sense to have a zipper, especially if you're going on public transportation. Yeah. I would almost invest in an inexpensive one if you're going away for the summer because people pickpocket unfortunately in the big cities and it's no different than any other place, and it's better to be safe. And then never carry your pass. If you're in a hotel, put your or any kind of accommodation, see if you have a lockbox or to keep your passport and then have a photocopy of the actual passport in
• 13:27
Speaker 3: your But just don't bring it around with you
• 13:29
  Speaker 4: every day? I wouldn't. I wouldn't.
• 13:31
Speaker 3: I thought you do because especially if you go shopping and stuff, you show your passport.
• 13:35
Speaker 4: Well, if you're shopping, maybe I don't think most people who are traveling are necessarily spending the whole day shopping. It's probably very expensive to do that. I I think if you know you're going on a shopping day, but I think if you take a photocopy, most of them with
• 13:49
Speaker 3: your number will accept that. Can't you get your passport, like a digital ID on your phone? I haven't fully looked into this, but I thought that was a thing now.
• 13:58
Speaker 4: I don't really know. I know you have to have your license with a specific security code on it, which I have in Florida. Know New York did. On your license, you have to have like a little either a star or a flag or something. I have real ID.
• 14:13
Yeah. I think that's but I I don't think any of that takes the place of a passport. You still have to show a passport.
• 14:17
Speaker 3: No. Thought now they are doing Well, know more than I.
• 14:20
Speaker 4: I haven't gone to Europe recently, so I don't know. You have to check. If you're going, do me a favor, everybody. Look online and make sure you're properly certified before you go to the airport because the airport now, and they're warning everybody, especially in the big cities, it's going to be a hassle this summer because of the traffic controllers, not as many as they need to be. The planes are really, especially in the New York Metropolitan Area, it's a disaster.
• 14:50
I mean, Newark is half shut down. LaGuardia Kennedy's under repair.
• 14:56
Speaker 3: Is it getting better?
• 14:57
Speaker 4: No, I think it's getting worse. It's gonna be very bad over the summer.
• 15:01
Speaker 3: What are things I should always have on hand for hosting?
• 15:06
Speaker 4: Your Memorial Day parties, you mean, or Yeah, summer summer parties. Well, I think people should always have in their pantry enough sodas, club sodas, tonics. Then if you're a wine drinker, a couple of bottles of white, a couple of bottles of red, always ready to go, or rose, which is my favorite in the summer if it's warm. And I think you have to have in your stockpile perhaps some snacks, you know, always some pretzels, some nuts that are
• 15:37
Speaker 3: I think that's easy enough to get day of, but it's harder to have, I don't know, like a table cloth or nap, like that
• 15:44
Speaker 4: kind stuff. Well, I think everybody, right. You should definitely think of that through first. I mean, I have that always because I've got a stockpile of them. But if you know you're gonna host something, then you should, before the busy months go on, go into one of the party stores and
• 15:59
Speaker 3: reel So what is it for
• 16:00
Speaker 4: like tablecloth? You don't need napkins anymore because everybody uses paper napkins.
• 16:05
Speaker 3: Unless it's like a pretty setting and you want the-
• 16:08
Speaker 4: Well, depending on how formal it is. If you're gonna do a formal dinner party, then you need napkins as well, which are readily available. And you could do everything online now. I mean, you know, you have all those pictures on your phone of all the- Pinterest.
• 16:22
Speaker 3: We were going through boards that I made about summer hosting and dinner parties because I've been getting into it in my head. Let's see if I actually do any of it. But it's fun to get ideas.
• 16:33
Speaker 4: Yeah. And I have a theme night. Like, if you're doing cheese and wine, have something that's cute with that. Yeah.
• 16:39
Speaker 3: I was FaceTiming with Zach yesterday. I was like, I wanna do a theme party this summer. And he was like, I feel like that's very college to be like, oh, everybody come dressed as nineties or whatever. And I was like, I guess it is, but why does it have to be? Isn't it so I fun to do
• 16:54
Speaker 4: think it depending on you. I I know I go to them all the time, and I'm certainly out of college a long time. But it's usually generally yeah. Usually wear a white party. Yeah.
• 17:03
Very big on white party. Now I was invited to a gold party this summer. A you color. Color. Less fun.
• 17:10
So I think to do a costume party is a bit much unless you're having the party over Halloween.
• 17:15
Speaker 3: I like a decade theme And I like Well, they can all wear
• 17:19
Speaker 4: their father's ties and the girls can wear wide bell bottoms Yeah. If you're in the seventies. I don't think you should spend that much time thinking about the theme and what the food is. More relevant how you're gonna make the food and where you're
• 17:31
Speaker 3: gonna get the food. I guess so.
• 17:33
Speaker 4: What is your favorite place to visit on your past summer trips? Well, I still my favorite summer trip, and it's long since past, is still the South Of France, which I love. And we used to drink a lot of wine when I was younger. So we used to go through all the different vineyards. We went to the Champagne areas, the burgundy areas, wherever there was, and we'd spend a couple of days in these wonderful little chateaus and then go to a delicious meal.
• 18:04
I don't even know how we ate those meals. We used to have a two star, a three star for lunch and then go after we drank and then we would go to another one for dinner. But I don't think I could ever do that again. And we've laughed about it, but we have to be young to do that and also have somebody who's interested in it. If you're not interested in good wine and if you're not into food, if you're gonna start Well, worrying about getting I don't know.
• 18:29
You have to really like that. Otherwise that's boring as the devil. I don't think I'd do it today. I would be completely annoyed with it. And I do like to go to all the artists, the shows in all the little villages along the Riviera and also in Nice and also in are just so many gone
• 18:52
Speaker 3: South Of France trip, so I gotta
• 18:54
Speaker 4: Well, you should do that. A beautiful trip. That's an easy trip to do. Is it? Yeah.
• 18:59
People can go on the train to the different cities or they can take there's loads of ways of doing it. Or you fly directly in and then you take Ubers all over the place now. If I plan a trip, I will consult you. Okay.
• 19:14
Speaker 3: Do you think guests should need to remove shoes before entering a host's home?
• 19:19
Speaker 4: I think it depends on the host and if there are children involved. If there are babies in the house, yes, I would take my shoes off because disturbing. It tends to be germs. But if it's just a bunch of friends, no.
• 19:32
Speaker 3: I don't like the idea of people wearing shoes in the house.
• 19:36
Speaker 4: Well, that's because your parents did that. Yeah. My parents I never heard of that until we Yeah. Had I never turn we never took our shoes off.
• 19:43
Speaker 3: Ruin someone's rug. Well, that that's so out of courtesy. Obviously. But in the house, I don't know. The only thing is it
• 19:50
Speaker 4: does give people slippers then.
• 19:52
Speaker 3: It totally ruins your outfit. Right. Let's say you're it's a fan's or summer party, and then you're barefoot, like, you're not in heels anymore. I don't think people should dress.
• 20:00
Speaker 4: I don't think people do that.
• 20:01
Speaker 3: I don't think I am annoyed every time someone tells me to take off
• 20:04
Speaker 4: my shoes. Okay. Right. I've never had it. When I go to people's homes, they never do that.
• 20:09
No. I think every But I wouldn't go to somebody who's got an infant and not take my shoes off. Yeah.
• 20:14
Speaker 3: What I yeah. I feel like every party I've been to Okay. No matter how casual, people are like, take your shoes
• 20:20
Speaker 4: off. Oh, well, then, you know what? Shorten their dresses.
• 20:22
Speaker 3: I know. Or just I don't know. Like, it's so it's a hard one, but I guess it's just up to the host.
• 20:27
Speaker 4: It's up to the hostess. Yeah. And the host.
• 20:31
Speaker 3: Speaking of, someone asked about dress shoes for aging feet.
• 20:36
Speaker 4: Well, you know what, guys? I I really don't think you should worry about it. First of all, sneakers of all sorts are being worn now. Even, and I know my husband, they, he wears those push. What do you slip into shoes now?
• 20:49
They look very trendy and they're fine. And I think for women, don't worry about it either wear an open toe pair of comfortable flip flops that you like and they could be elevated so that they're very pretty ones or just put sneakers on and don't worry your espadrilles. Really summer is a time to be relaxed. And, usually you're in an outdoor area and make sure that you don't slip. Like if you're going on a boat or if you're doing something, that maybe, you need a rubber sole, you know, be aware of where you're going so that, you know, I have actually, I have a couple of white pair of shoes.
• 21:25
One has soles and one I put rubber soles on, so I can always wear it.
• 21:29
Speaker 3: It's really worth being comfortable over the Instagram picture you're gonna get. Like, I can't even believe that when I went to Mexico last year, there were so many cobblestone. It was all cobblestone and heels, and I wore heels the whole time on the like, why did I do that?
• 21:45
Speaker 4: Because you look pretty. But that was wild. I don't know. I I usually wear sneakers. Yeah.
• 21:50
Especially when you're traveling. Right. I think everybody now takes a pair of sneakers. Mean, nobody nobody in their right mind would be walking around in heels unless they're in Milan and they're going to a fashion show.
• 22:00
Speaker 3: But even, like, when Zach and I went to London last summer, I remember being like, I wanna walk around in cute outfits, and I'd put a cute outfit on, but then I'd put on my chunky sneakers because I knew I'd just walk in.
• 22:09
Speaker 4: A pair of sneakers.
• 22:10
Speaker 3: But then it just doesn't go. No. But the cuter ones aren't as
• 22:13
Speaker 4: Well, that's your Practical. Stop taking pictures and just go have a good time.
• 22:17
Speaker 3: No. But even without the picture, like, wanna feel cool. Alright. And then you're in, like, a
• 22:21
Speaker 4: But there are but there's so many cute sneakers out there now.
• 22:24
Speaker 3: No. Yeah. But it has to match the then you have to wear something a little bit casual. Cute little flat. I know.
• 22:30
But if you're actually doing a lot of walking, don't
• 22:32
Speaker 4: Oh, well, then you then you need sneakers.
• 22:35
Speaker 3: Someone said, grandma, what should I pack for Tuscany in July? Neutral solids or colorful prints? Well, Tuscany is beautiful.
• 22:43
Speaker 4: I either. But a lot of linens or a lot of things that you can rinse, actually not linen. I'm going to rethink that. A lot of things that you can rinse out at night and just put on the next day, very casual, very, very pretty, very resorty in Tuscany. And, you know, you're going basically to vineyards and it's a beautiful area.
• 23:04
Last one, I wanna go away for a few weeks, but my fiance's super against it. What do you advise? Well, what's his reason? Maybe he doesn't wanna spend the money. And in this economy, people who are worried about the economy, you have to find out his reason.
• 23:19
Maybe he can't take the time off
• 23:20
Speaker 3: from his job. We didn't get that much information. If we
• 23:24
Speaker 4: didn't get that much information, she has to check it out. It could be a viable reason and then she shouldn't press it.
• 23:29
Speaker 3: What if he just doesn't like to travel?
• 23:31
Speaker 4: Well, then she's gonna have to realize that as part of her life and if it means that much to her, maybe she's got the wrong partner.
• 23:39
Speaker 3: Or you go on girls trips?
• 23:40
Speaker 4: Well, I don't think when you're married, you should be going on You
• 23:42
Speaker 3: go on girls trip?
• 23:43
Speaker 4: I because when I'm 75, I never did it when I was young.
• 23:47
Speaker 3: Okay. Well, we don't know how old this person is anyway. Thinking about house guest etiquette for the summer. Okay. I know we were talking about in laws coming or parents coming and staying, but how long do you think it's too long for a friend like a house guest to stay at someone's beach house?
• 24:03
Speaker 4: Oh, I think it's the same. I think it's very much the same. It depends on your relationship and your accommodations. If you're if you're all you know, if if you're a bunch of young people in a shared house and you invite another person to come in, I would say that shorter is better. I mean, after two days, you you've gotta make sure all the people are copacetic with who your guest is.
• 24:25
If it's your own friend and you have room for them, I still think two, three days is more than enough. You know, unless it's a very far trip. If you're inviting somebody to Barcelona to stay in your house, then you don't expect somebody's coming for two days. It's gotta be a
• 24:39
Speaker 3: week. Trip kind of
• 24:41
Speaker 4: trip, I think, after two and a half days, that's enough. Friday to Sunday afternoon is more than enough because you're together all the time basically. Especially if somebody's coming from out and they don't have their own house, so they're all sitting in your backyard. You have to make sure that you've got things to do with them, certainly activities, food, dinner reservations or plans to have barbecues and who's assigned to what task. So it puts a lot of strain on
• 25:09
Speaker 3: your Yeah, but if you're inviting someone as a guest, you're not making them do stuff.
• 25:12
Speaker 4: No, but a lot of times your friends love to cook. Some of them are wonderful bakers. I've seen people
• 25:18
Speaker 3: come They wouldn't to my house
• 25:20
Speaker 4: Yes, they would if Oh you invite yeah. No, no, no. But sometimes you say, I want you to make your special pasta or make your bread, let's do it together. Maybe. I I think that you can do that, and it could be part of the relationship.
• 25:34
Yeah. Depends on who's being invited and what the story is and whether you're inviting a single person or a couple.
• 25:40
Speaker 3: If you're inviting a couple and you have another bedroom that only has, like, two twin beds, is that fair?
• 25:47
Speaker 4: Yeah. Why not? Just tell them tell them in the beginning.
• 25:51
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 25:52
Speaker 4: A lot of people sleep in a twin bed. My parents slept in a in the tiniest bed together. They had a million kids. It depends on the relationship. Some people like to sleep in a sleep together in a twin.
• 26:02
Yes. They did. They slept in a
• 26:04
Speaker 3: I thought they slept in
• 26:05
Speaker 4: No. Two to three That was when they became old. When you become old, everybody needs their own space.
• 26:10
Speaker 3: Wait. No. No. Two people can't fit in a twin.
• 26:12
Speaker 4: Yes. They can. A twin. They they spoon.
• 26:16
Speaker 3: That is so uncomfortable. Well, for you, but for some people, I have a queen.
• 26:21
Speaker 4: Oh, no. My parents
• 26:22
Speaker 3: always slept in twin.
• 26:23
Speaker 4: But a twin is, like, one person. No. I know. Well, depends on how big you are. Do you
• 26:27
Speaker 3: think, like, on the Sunday of the weekend when everyone's going home, is there a time that's rude to leave? Like, even if they leave too early? No.
• 26:38
Speaker 4: I think that should be discussed beforehand. If you're coming for the weekend, for instance, say, listen, I have to be back in New York by, you know, shoot it out to your host before, you know, she might be preparing a lunch or brunch. Say, you know what? I can't stay on Sunday past 08:00. Tell her that right now.
• 26:56
Speaker 3: I'm almost happy when people are trying to go before lunchtime. But I also
• 27:00
Speaker 4: It's not sometimes your home get either. It's not your home and you're not really doing it yourself. You've got parents there, you've got a brother in the house with you. You sometimes, you know, if it's your own home, you're in control of what's happening. So I think, you know, you have to say, listen, I'm preparing brunch, but don't feel like you're obligated to stay if you have to get back to the city.
• 27:21
And a lot of times, you know, you're going for two, three, four hour ride and the other person or a train ride and they have plans to do it on a schedule so they can
• 27:32
  Speaker 3: get back
• 27:33
Speaker 4: to wherever their home is.
• 27:34
Speaker 3: Yeah. Usually I feel like when my friends are booking trips, they're like, I'm thinking about taking the 3PM
• 27:38
Speaker 4: plane Well, that's correct. Exactly. Yeah. That's what you have to say. Say, you know, or in the beginning, say, I'm planning a little lunch.
• 27:46
If you don't have a plan that causes an issue, I'd love you to stay and then book your trip for a little later. You know, whatever. But I think all that should be spoken about, especially since you're not going next door. You know, one thing- Like
• 27:58
Speaker 3: this is stressful. Like why even Oh, have them come at
• 28:02
Speaker 4: because people love to have guests. I guess. It's fun. Yeah, it's fun. And it adds a little bit of different vibes to the weekend.
• 28:10
  Speaker 3: True.
• 28:11
Speaker 4: True. You get different conversations. Have to tell you after a while, you haven't got that much to say. So you wanna have a little bit of conversation. Depending on who you're friendly with, sometimes it's very, very interesting.
• 28:20
And you should plan your activities with different couples with different opinions and different likes and dislikes so you have interesting conversations. It's boring to hear everybody out, the same.
• 28:32
Speaker 3: Like, to Greenwich on the weekends. Yes. Would mom bring friends ever, like, to stay with you guys?
• 28:39
Speaker 4: You know what? It's so long ago. Your mom was always with your father. There were no friends. There were no friends.
• 28:45
She was 18 years old. She already had her one and only friend.
• 28:50
Speaker 3: But he came out to stay.
• 28:52
Speaker 4: No, he didn't really because he had a house really not that far away, so he would drive or whatever for the weekend. No, don't think they didn't have sleepover dates before at the end of their By the time they were having sleepover dates, they were already almost engaged. On family vacations you went on,
• 29:11
Speaker 3: did you allow her to bring dad?
• 29:13
Speaker 4: Yes. After many after several years. Not in the Not the year
• 29:18
  Speaker 3: and No.
• 29:19
Speaker 4: They were very young. I guess so. They were 18, 19 years old. Right. But by the time they were in there
• 29:24
Speaker 3: Like after college? No, even before college.
• 29:29
Speaker 4: Yeah, it was maybe their senior year or whatever. Who do you think plans a couple's vacation? Depends whoever cares the most. In our case, was always your grandfather. I gave him an idea or he'd run it by me, but he loved to make the plans.
• 29:47
Interesting. Now I think I'm making the plans. It's lot of work. It's a lot of work and we were very fortunate. We went on a lot of trips with Well a young besides family, we did things with business things.
• 30:04
So they would be planned by a professional and those were so interesting because they had the trips planned. All you had to do is put your suitcase outside your room and they get it picked up and then you'd go to the next city. And I still like that, by the way. I like trips to be very organized, especially if it's sightseeing. If it's just a beach trip,
• 30:22
Speaker 3: then it doesn't matter. Speaking of the beach, you don't go to the beach a ton.
• 30:27
Speaker 4: No, I don't go in the sun at all anymore.
• 30:29
  Speaker 3: But I guess
• 30:30
Speaker 4: I think that's one big change in my life that I can honestly say now the focus of my vacations are not beach. Used to love to be in the beach. I used to love to swim and be in the water. Now I don't do it at all. So I really like being do know in the you're
• 30:44
Speaker 3: sitting on the beach, like read a book?
• 30:46
Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd read a book or just we'd go in the water. I love the water. I love the ocean and I liked all that. And I still like to go in when the water is beautiful, not in the Atlantic so much, but more of the Caribbean.
• 31:00
Speaker 3: Because I always find it funny, like, when I'm at the beach or the pool, I feel like my all I do is put my AirPods in, and I'm listening to music or to a podcast. Like, what did you do?
• 31:12
  Speaker 4: We we read.
• 31:13
  Speaker 3: Right.
• 31:13
Speaker 4: We read on the beach.
• 31:14
Speaker 3: To the person next to you.
• 31:15
Speaker 4: No. I think we read a lot more.
• 31:16
Speaker 3: But it's hard to read in the sun.
• 31:18
Speaker 4: No. They all we always had umbrellas. I guess. I mean, we always had umbrellas. Yeah.
• 31:23
Speaker 3: And there was no, like, person with a boombox on the beach, like, playing
• 31:28
  Speaker 4: I don't think I think that's very rude. I don't I don't remember that at
• 31:31
Speaker 3: too even. I went to Central Park the other day, and I was just trying to listen to, like, there was a jazz player nearby, like the sounds of the park. And then someone just brings their boom boxes.
• 31:41
  Speaker 4: I think that's very impolite.
• 31:42
Speaker 3: Especially when you have AirPods.
• 31:43
Speaker 4: Like, do have to say, why do you have to do that to to annoy everybody? It's like when somebody's in a car, which I still find terrible on the street and they're driving with their windows open and blasting their music. Don't need They're to do trying to show off. They're trying to say who's in command.
• 31:58
Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess so.
• 31:59
Speaker 4: And they're really not.
• 32:00
Speaker 3: It's like anybody with a loud engine. Like, what are you trying to prove? Exactly. I was trying to think about summer jobs that I had. Oh, you had a
• 32:09
Speaker 4: lot of them. And I had such random ones. Yeah. But they were very much related to media. You had one in a way.
• 32:15
Speaker 3: I mean, my first internship ever, actually interned at the Central Park Zoo while I
• 32:19
Speaker 4: was in Yeah. Which was wonderful.
• 32:21
Speaker 3: Which was so fun.
• 32:22
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 32:22
Speaker 3: I love animals. Right. And I totally that, like, wiped out of my brain, and I was looking at pictures the other day, and I was like, oh, yeah.
• 32:28
Speaker 4: That's a wonderful thing. No. I think there's so many things that people, young people especially, we're not talking about older people, even older people now can volunteer in these kind of situations. There's so many wonderful activities people need a hand. I'm particularly happy that we got involved with Bottomless Closet, which is a charity that helps really not underprivileged, but young women who aren't advantaged enough to be able to go in and to the stores and buy clothes for themselves and figure out So
• 32:57
Speaker 3: help them prep for interviews. For interviews, exactly. With interview
• 33:02
Speaker 4: prep And and I think you're never too old to get involved in those kinds of things or in City Harvest or in preparing meals or tutoring, mentoring. You did a lot of tutoring when you were Oh, that's true. And that was very, very I think those things are still make the difference in in our society and and caring for others.
• 33:21
  Speaker 3: Totally.
• 33:21
Speaker 4: We've talked about this a million times, but I really do believe it.
• 33:24
Speaker 3: Speaking of Bottomless Closet, our donation box, if you still are interested, if everyone listening wants to bring lightly used or new clothing, it'll be at Blushington, which is on 57th Street. You could look up the address. It'll be there through the end of the month.
• 33:39
Speaker 4: It's almost in the week, but then I think you can always bring it down to 34th Street.
• 33:43
Speaker 3: You can always bring it to Bottom closet. They do drop offs at certain times. So you can look that up as well. But if you're also near Bushington, part of our partnership, you can go drop it off. You can get the Kim or the Gail hairstyle.
• 33:59
Speaker 4: And That was a fun day. That was very
• 34:01
Speaker 3: That was a really
• 34:02
Speaker 4: They were very nice to partner with.
• 34:03
Speaker 3: Yes. Okay. Let's move on to the drama club. So there's a lot of trailers and teasers for new TV shows that dropped. I don't know if you saw the show All's Fair with Kim Kardashian that's coming out.
• 34:21
Speaker 4: Well, you know I'm not seeing that.
• 34:22
Speaker 3: No. It's a scripted TV show about female lawyers.
• 34:25
  Speaker 4: I know. I saw that.
• 34:26
  Speaker 3: Oh, you did?
• 34:27
  Speaker 4: Right.
• 34:27
Speaker 3: So I think it's divorce attorneys who leave, like, a male dominated firm and open up their
• 34:33
Speaker 4: own Their own firm.
• 34:34
Speaker 3: Practice. It's Ryan Murphy, Hulu. I'm definitely gonna at least watch
• 34:38
Speaker 4: I know you like that. I'm sure you'll watch the whole thing.
• 34:41
Speaker 3: If it's good. I love Ryan Murphy, so I'm sure it's gonna be good, but it's interesting, like, to see do we think she can act?
• 34:47
Speaker 4: I don't know. I'm sure she can do anything she wants to do. She became a lawyer, so she certainly knows how to act.
• 34:53
Speaker 3: Unless she was just prepping for this role the whole time, so she was like, I'll become a
• 34:56
Speaker 4: lawyer to be an actress. Whatever. Who knows? Whatever. She's very smart.
• 35:00
My confident I'm sure she's very good at whatever she does.
• 35:03
Speaker 3: And she was good in SNL and stuff, so she could probably
• 35:06
  Speaker 4: do it.
• 35:07
Speaker 3: Also, I saw Bridgerton trailer.
• 35:10
Speaker 4: Oh, there's a new one? Coming out in 2026. Oh gosh. Okay. Why
• 35:14
Speaker 3: is it so long?
• 35:15
  Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know. I I like that show.
• 35:18
Speaker 3: I love that show. I look forward to it. And I feel like I always wonder this. Like, I understand that shows have to go into production and all the actors schedules have to be available and whatever. But with such a popular show, why are there two years in between?
• 35:30
Speaker 4: I have because they probably have to clear everybody's schedule and it doesn't always work. I'll tell you one thing. I've been watching, you know, I watch Amazon all the time, which I love Amazon prime. I watch every murder mystery that ever happened in every country. They've cleaned out everybody in, in Paris, in London, in Sweden, wherever I am, they murdered the entire town.
• 35:51
But was thinking to myself, try I said, oh, I'm gonna go on Netflix yesterday. And I I've seen all the Netflix things.
• 35:59
Speaker 3: Oh, have you? You always say this.
• 36:00
Speaker 4: I can't find a new program. I can't find anything. If anybody has anything really
• 36:05
Speaker 3: Well, fabulous we can move on then to what we're watching right now.

Speaker 4: Well, nobody watches what I watch because, I am only into foreign murders.
• 37:12
Speaker 3: So let's talk about the rewind. Okay. I am obsessed with hacks. Okay. I had never watched it.
• 37:22
And it's amazing. Okay. Good. Obviously, it's won awards over the last few years and and stuff, but you've seen it right or no? No.
• 37:30
Oh my god. It's on Max. It is so good. It's about a female comedian who is 70, and she's been having Vegas residencies, and her work is kinda getting stale. So she's kind of forced into bringing a 25 year old writer on from LA to help her with her comedy and they are so different and they fight and it's all these generational themes even just for us.
• 37:58
Like you should watch it. Okay. Also Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has a new season, which is a dumb reality show.
• 38:05
Speaker 4: I can't watch those kind of things.
• 38:07
Speaker 3: It's kind of good. Okay, let's do the grandma report. So there was a few articles. One was from Vogue about who pays for the honeymoon.
• 38:22
  Speaker 4: Oh, right.
• 38:23
Speaker 3: I guess, like, who used to pay for the honeymoon? The groom's family.
• 38:28
Speaker 4: Groom's side. You know? But I think, you know, all those rules from yesterday are no longer applicable anymore because people are getting married older. So, they're not 21, 22 when they didn't really have any money, they were fresh out of school. Now these most young couples can almost pay for their own.
• 38:48
And I think most weddings now, I don't know if it's still true, it seems like both families get involved with paying.
• 38:54
Speaker 3: Didn't even realize that the groom's parents paid for the honeymoon because I think with all my actually, maybe I did, but I feel like I knew the bride's family paid for Correct. The And most people I know, I feel like the groom's play family pays for the groom's personal thing.
• 39:11
Speaker 4: Yes. Well, that's still applicable. Okay.
• 39:13
Speaker 3: But I didn't realize the honeymoon thing.
• 39:14
  Speaker 4: The honeymoon.
• 39:15
Speaker 3: Because also I've seen a lot of couples do honeymoon funds as their gift.
• 39:20
Speaker 4: I think that's just awful. I think it's so awful, but I think it's terrible. If you can afford to do it, you shouldn't do it. Just take a weekend. Mean, so much of this is about affordability and I think you shouldn't strap yourselves.
• 39:37
I see the cost of some of these weddings and these bachelorette parties and bachelor parties are just out of sight and it's just not financially
• 39:49
Speaker 3: smart. Yeah, but like why is it okay then to ask for blenders and towels?
• 39:53
Speaker 4: Well, was a traditional thing So with the
• 39:55
Speaker 3: can't you ask for-
• 39:56
Speaker 4: Well, I guess you could ask for anything, Kim. You can ask for anything, but then just say no gifts, only finance
• 40:02
Speaker 3: or check. Send a bowl.
• 40:04
Speaker 4: No, nobody, I don't know. Do know one family who was very, very wealthy who said only to charity.
• 40:10
Speaker 3: Because they that's very random house gifts and they
• 40:14
Speaker 4: would rather cash. You Didn't you have one that one of your friends had wine on the That was, you know- packed wine. Right. So that was interesting for Ginge because a lot of people, when you're in your 30s, it's not like when you're in your early 20s. So it's very different.
• 40:29
Speaker 3: Have you heard of Zola?
• 40:31
  Speaker 4: I heard that's a it's a wedding site.
• 40:33
  Speaker 3: It's a
• 40:33
Speaker 4: wedding registry site, but I Very hard to get on to. I tried it I thought it was difficult, but, you know, everything online is difficult for me.
• 40:41
Speaker 3: I thought this was so interesting. I was just talking to my friend. I didn't realize this. Like, so people can buy you gifts on there, like a normal registry. Okay.
• 40:48
But then you just get the cash from that and you could either decide to
• 40:53
  Speaker 4: Do the gift.
• 40:54
Speaker 3: Do the gift. Or you can pocket the cash. Or sometimes it's an easier way instead of putting one thing on the registry that's a thousand dollars, you can put a few cheaper things and then just decide to get the more expensive thing with that cash. That's interesting. I think it's so smart.
• 41:08
Speaker 4: I think it's smart. I I still think that a check is the best gift.
• 41:12
Speaker 3: Yeah. It's just kinda awkward sometimes. Yeah. Maybe. Then there's the rise of the mini moon of some couples right after their wedding do a long weekend or something short versus a month later doing a full Maybe
• 41:26
Speaker 4: their schedules didn't align to take longer time or depending where they are in their careers, they couldn't take a longer one. That's fine. First of today, nobody Everybody's living together. So for the most part, when you need a long honeymoon, you've already had two years of a honeymoon.
• 41:42
Speaker 3: Yeah. Or like, you're not, That you're has
• 41:45
Speaker 4: to be around a vacation.
• 41:46
Speaker 3: Right. Vacation. Okay. EHarmony sent us in some data that I thought was interesting for us to go over. So the data shows that singles are entering a more pragmatic but open minded era of dating where traditional deal breakers like politics, money, and distance are being reevaluated.

Speaker 4: I don't think it's as important. So money I bet is still the most important. I'm gonna tell wanna see a
• 42:11
Speaker 3: million don't times. Know the
• 42:13
Speaker 4: report, but I know in my mind, and this hasn't changed, money is the number one issue about young couples. When they cannot afford to do what they wanna do, that's the first reason they have a fight. It's not over anything else. It's always over money. Don't
• 42:29
Speaker 3: know So who it people the data shows that money matters a lot with talk of recession looming, many singles are making- What matters? Financially driven decisions about romance is 75% of singles say they wouldn't sacrifice their financial goals to And find 77% wouldn't risk their trajectory. Because they're getting older.
• 42:49
Speaker 4: That's the issue. When you're 21, you don't think of that.
• 42:52
  Speaker 3: Right.
• 42:52
Speaker 4: When you're 30, you do think about it. It's just this is a normal thing. I thought this
• 42:57
Speaker 3: was interesting. Politics are not a deal breaker. No. Despite today's polarized climate, only twenty three percent of US singles say different political views would lead them to turn down a date. Gen z, 28% in particular are more likely to give love a chance even across party lines.
• 43:14
Of course. I thought that the younger people would be more intense.
• 43:16
Speaker 4: No, I don't think so. I don't think so. I think so at all.
• 43:21
Speaker 3: And then the last stop was distance can be overcome if love is worth it. While 40% are hesitant about long distance relationships due to travel expenses, 74% would move for love with 31% willing to go abroad for the right relationship. Despite tech making romance easier, proximity still wins, especially for women.
• 43:39
Speaker 4: Well, that's what I've always said to you and you're in a long distance thing. I think it's very difficult and I wouldn't advise it for people. I think it's, it's not a good thing in the long run because what's going to happen is somebody has to give up something. So it's not like when you're, you live in a community together and you, and you don't have to give up your job or your or your family or your friends. It's very difficult a long distance.
• 44:03
You have to really make that committed. No. Not at all.
• 44:07
  Speaker 3: Speaking from.
• 44:07
Speaker 4: No. No. But but the figures are saying what backing No. Up what I'm
• 44:12
Speaker 3: 36% of singles would sacrifice being physically close to their
• 44:15
Speaker 4: family 306% is in the majority.
• 44:17
Speaker 3: That's pretty high though. Okay. That's surprising to me. I don't know.
• 44:23
Speaker 4: I think in reality it's not even that high. But all right, it's hard. It's very hard because it's very, very hard. I always think about people who live in Europe, how can they marry somebody that has a job in The States and then who's gonna give up what? I mean, where does it happen?
• 44:44
Somebody has to make the sacrifice. Obviously distance is a
• 44:47
Speaker 3: big one to sacrifice, but like everyone makes little sacrifices.
• 44:50
Speaker 4: Well, that's not little, that's a big Right.
• 44:52
  Speaker 3: That's a that's a bigger one. But I do think, like
• 44:54
Speaker 4: Oh, absolutely. You have to compromise in a experience.
• 44:57
Speaker 3: Like, if the relationship is worth it and better than the ones you've had maybe in your hometown, like, it is worth doing. I don't know if there's like a lesser percentage of like working out or not, but I wouldn't like let that be a deterrent. Think
• 45:16
Speaker 4: No. I think it's not a deterrent if you have a if you have a final time of when the relationship really has to either end or go to the next step and really make commitment. Because if you don't have that, then you spend your life on a plane or on a train
• 45:33
Speaker 3: Well, I wouldn't agree. Like, I don't think it's pragmatic for life to do long distance.
• 45:39
Speaker 4: No, no. But I think like can't raise a family long distance. You'll have one week. I'll have
• 45:43
Speaker 3: them another week. Yeah. But I think like, as you're saying, yeah, a lot of people like they know, okay, they're going to medical school for four years. So let's, well, that's different. They're there for a job, but their ultimate goal is to be here.
• 45:55
  Whatever it is, like, I
• 45:56
Speaker 4: don't think you can't do it. Alright. No. I think it's but it's just a little more difficult. So before you start to think it through.
• 46:02
Speaker 3: Okay. Let's play. Should we bring it back? Okay. So these things of the past, like, do we want to still do them today?
• 46:14
  Tie dye?
• 46:15
Speaker 4: It was pretty. Know, I still like I still know if It I have to bring it was messy. Used to stick them in a pail and wind them around and do it. I did it the tie dye shirt. I don't know if we have to bring it back.
• 46:28
  It was very simple.
• 46:29
Speaker 3: I like it for camp.
• 46:30
Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe. Exactly. For a fun experience where you don't care about getting messed up and ruining everything. Slip and slides. For little kids, it's still fun.
• 46:41
Speaker 3: I did it in college.
• 46:42
Speaker 4: I don't know. Has it gone away? Mean, I- Maybe not. I think people still
• 46:47
Speaker 3: I mean, maybe as an adult.
• 46:48
Speaker 4: Oh, sip and slide? No. Like, when you go like, Oh, not drinking and sliding.
• 46:52
  Speaker 3: No. No. No.
• 46:53
Speaker 4: Oh, slip and slide. No. I don't think that's gone away.
• 46:55
Speaker 3: No. It's an activity. It's a water activity. Drive in movies.
• 47:00
Speaker 4: I used to love that.
• 47:01
Speaker 3: That's so fun. It is fun,
• 47:03
Speaker 4: but they're no good unfortunately, I don't even go to the movies anymore, I used to go a couple of times a week.
• 47:08
Speaker 3: But I would go if they showed old movies.
• 47:11
Speaker 4: And that would be fun. Well, you did do that in Southampton. Remember they had that? They do. I don't even they didn't do it last year summer.
• 47:18
Speaker 3: Do. But they did. Part of Hampton Film Festival.
• 47:20
Speaker 4: I think it's wonderful. They do it,
• 47:22
Speaker 3: but it's not it's a few year Right. On Wednesdays.
• 47:25
  Speaker 4: Yeah. It's When nobody's off.
• 47:26
  Speaker 3: No one's there.
• 47:27
  Speaker 4: So
• 47:27
Speaker 3: Exactly. They need to do more of it or they should do there are some places. They're not drive ins, but outdoor movies. In Brooklyn, there's one. I'm forgetting the name of it.
• 47:37
Speaker 4: Paper, we like everything.
• 47:39
  Speaker 3: Paper invitations.
• 47:40
Speaker 4: Well, I I don't think anybody does that anymore. I used to do it because I and I still think it's pretty to have it. They don't do it for weddings either anymore?
• 47:49
Speaker 3: They do it for weddings. Usually, not always the save the date, but definitely like the actual wedding, you do get a party.
• 47:57
Speaker 4: Because I know now I haven't gotten one party invitation. Everything is over email. Parties and stuff, I feel
• 48:02
Speaker 3: like why spend the money?
• 48:03
Speaker 4: Well, that's evidently that's everybody feels the same way.
• 48:05
Speaker 3: And it's also like it could get lost. Well, that did happen. Although they always go to my spam anyway. Well, I
• 48:12
Speaker 4: think I don't think they're coming back, so we don't have to It's just a new era for invitations. Nobody's gonna I I feel sorry for people who for Hallmark. I still buy Hallmark cards. So
• 48:23
Speaker 3: let's do cards for, occasions, like mother's day and stuff like that. I'm going to a baby shower tomorrow. Oh, she texted me because she was like, I know my wedding invitation went to your spam. So your baby, my baby shower probably also did because you have an RSVP. And I was like, it didn't.
• 48:39
It did. I mean, Oh, wow. So
• 48:41
Speaker 4: then that's terrible. Glad she told me. Yeah. Do you have to bring something for the baby or for her registry registry? Okay.
• 48:48
Speaker 3: Okay. That's it for this week. Okay.
• 48:50
Speaker 4: I will let everybody have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.
• 48:54
Speaker 3: Yes. Everyone enjoy you'll be in the Hamptons.
• 48:57
Speaker 4: No, Kimberly. You forgot already. I'll be in Rhode Island.
• 49:02
Speaker 3: What's wrong with me?
• 49:03
  Speaker 4: No. That's alright. That's alright.
• 49:05
Speaker 3: I have issues. I'm so sorry. You'll be in Rhode Island. Where am I gonna be?
• 49:11
Speaker 4: And you're gonna be in LA.
• 49:12
Speaker 3: Yes. Okay. And then I'll see you when I'm back.
• 49:15
Speaker 4: Exactly. Have a great time, everybody. Enjoy the weekend.
