- 0:11Speaker 2: Laric just came across this headline and it's like, it's
- 0:15Speaker 2: talking about school lunch debt, and I'm wondering it's it's
- 0:21Speaker 2: talking about school lunch debt and the and the issues
- 0:24Speaker 2: surrounding school debt, and I'm like, wait a minute. These
- 0:28Speaker 2: are children food feed them, right? What was Why was
- 0:35Speaker 2: lunch debt a thing? Why are we dealing with this?
- 0:38Speaker 3: In four chaf.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Yues, we welcome y'all to a new week of hell
- 0:43Speaker 2: here at w r t R Real Talk Radio. Welcome
- 0:45Speaker 2: to a new week. Thanks for coming back. My name
- 0:48Speaker 2: is Marcus Smooth.
- 0:50Speaker 3: My name is miss Lak Bravado.
- 0:52Speaker 2: How are you feeling this week?
- 0:54Speaker 3: Mama? Tired of hell?
- 0:56Speaker 2: All right?
- 0:59Speaker 3: What's going to trying to get used to this new
- 1:02Speaker 3: machine that the doctor said I need see?
- 1:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah, your seapop?
- 1:08Speaker 3: Oh my god, so annoying.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Elephant vibes.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Still not.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Other than that, I've been all right?
- 1:18Speaker 2: How is it like wearing it? Though? I mean is it?
- 1:22Speaker 3: It's not, but it's uncomfortable knowing that I have it on.
- 1:30Speaker 3: If that makes any sense something that I have to
- 1:34Speaker 3: get used to. And I've noticed that I don't have
- 1:38Speaker 3: any dreams anymore while I wear it. So I googled
- 1:42Speaker 3: it and they said that's a real thing because it's
- 1:46Speaker 3: helping you get a better deeper sleep. You tend to
- 1:50Speaker 3: not remember your dreams as much. But it feels weird
- 1:54Speaker 3: to me though.
- 1:55Speaker 2: But okay, so how does that work in the whole
- 1:58Speaker 2: context of dreams supposedly being like how your mind works
- 2:02Speaker 2: out your subconscious issues or whatever. How does that work?
- 2:06Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:07Speaker 3: So when you when your sleep is interrupted, from what
- 2:11Speaker 3: I read, you have a tendency to remember like certain
- 2:16Speaker 3: bits and pieces of it versus wearing the machine, it's
- 2:21Speaker 3: giving you a better rest, So you're going deeper into
- 2:25Speaker 3: your sleep rim so you're not gonna remember your dreams
- 2:29Speaker 3: as much, if at all.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Wow, Well, I guess that would make sense, okay, because
- 2:36Speaker 2: you're in a deeper sleep, less state of consciousness, less recollection. Okay.
- 2:40Speaker 3: I like having my dreams, though I'm kind of upset
- 2:43Speaker 3: about it. I'll be fucking people up in my dreams
- 2:47Speaker 3: and real life.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I'm just saying, you can just make it all a reality.
- 2:52Speaker 2: We can do that. You know a drag her. Let's go.
- 3:01Speaker 2: I gotta mood you in this week.
- 3:04Speaker 3: I'm in a tragies is not me mood?
- 3:12Speaker 2: Oh okay, you have something to follow.
- 3:16Speaker 3: People just have been trying to get me out my bag,
- 3:23Speaker 3: to irritate me, to provoke me all this week, and
- 3:30Speaker 3: I'm over it and I'm about to start clapping back
- 3:35Speaker 3: because don't bother me when I'm in my peaceful mood.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Like you don't want that. You don't nobody want.
- 3:45Speaker 2: To saying that is the thing. Let me tell you.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Achieving mental peace is something that a lot very few
- 3:53Speaker 2: people do. But once you've achieved it, that's something that
- 3:56Speaker 2: you just don't want to relate with. I don't want
- 4:00Speaker 2: to give it up. You just want a chill And
- 4:03Speaker 2: like anybody that comes into them that space and tries
- 4:07Speaker 2: to disrupt just that little bit of piece, just look
- 4:12Speaker 2: just tad little piece. And it's like people will work
- 4:17Speaker 2: so much harder to irritate you than it would need
- 4:21Speaker 2: to just leave you alone. Right huh my mood.
- 4:29Speaker 3: That is to leave me to funck alone.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I hear you, and I'm in that mood too, because listen,
- 4:35Speaker 2: let me tell you my Friday the thirteenth yesterday, I
- 4:40Speaker 2: woke up to a big steaming pile of shit. Go outside, girl,
- 4:46Speaker 2: somebody to hit me for gas? Like gas? All like, okay,
- 4:53Speaker 2: So on my car, of course, there's the locked you
- 4:59Speaker 2: know gas, there's the lot of gas tank. Mm hm.
- 5:03Speaker 2: So you have the you know where you can only
- 5:05Speaker 2: like hit the button on the inside and I'm tank
- 5:07Speaker 2: you gas. I didn't even think that people still stole gas,
- 5:13Speaker 2: to be honest with you, like out of normal cars.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I thought that that was a thing of the past, honestly,
- 5:18Speaker 2: because I don't see it often, or you don't. Maybe
- 5:20Speaker 2: I don't hear about it often. All I hear about
- 5:24Speaker 2: are like bigger crimes, like more smart crimes. But now
- 5:28Speaker 2: niggas is hitting up of other niggas for gas so
- 5:31Speaker 2: they can drive and go do bigger crime. It's like,
- 5:34Speaker 2: what the fuck yo? In this systemic? I get it,
- 5:37Speaker 2: it's irritating, and maybe it's just my time and the hood,
- 5:40Speaker 2: but that shit really pissed me off. If y'all are
- 5:42Speaker 2: out here.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Girl, first of all, it's way too expensive, and you
- 5:50Speaker 3: have everybody to be fucking pissed off about it, because
- 5:52Speaker 3: first of all, don't touch my ship. Don't touch and
- 5:56Speaker 3: bust my ass for during the week, like get up
- 6:01Speaker 3: in something that used to come on remember that Evers commercial.
- 6:14Speaker 3: You ain't doing thating anyway.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I doting on the couch because your life ship, get
- 6:20Speaker 2: off go.
- 6:25Speaker 3: But I mean that sentiment applies here because does get
- 6:30Speaker 3: a job to.
- 6:31Speaker 2: A bag, get a job, bitch, get a job, leave
- 6:35Speaker 2: my ship alone. And I get it. The door for
- 6:38Speaker 2: the Yes, the door is gonna cost probably like forty
- 6:43Speaker 2: dollars to replace in the gas itself, and I'm getting
- 6:46Speaker 2: one of you know, I got one of those little
- 6:48Speaker 2: locked gas caps on the way today, so but I mean,
- 6:51Speaker 2: I get it, but it's just like the property damage
- 6:54Speaker 2: for and I didn't even have that much gas in
- 6:56Speaker 2: my car was the end. Towards the end of the week,
- 6:59Speaker 2: I was like, I ain't feeling this ship up to
- 7:01Speaker 2: the weekend. You know how you do? You know? You
- 7:04Speaker 2: be like I'm trying to get home exactly, I'm trying
- 7:11Speaker 2: to beat traffic. I'm trying to get home, partner ship like.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Really mm hm.
- 7:17Speaker 2: So that is my mood and I'm working towards it.
- 7:21Speaker 2: It's made me, It's made it's given me an anger
- 7:24Speaker 2: that I'm trying to work through because I want to
- 7:29Speaker 2: be so much more than just a podcaster. I want
- 7:34Speaker 2: to get out here and do more in the community,
- 7:36Speaker 2: as far as activism, as far as you know, an
- 7:39Speaker 2: acting change, as far as all of that. But y'all, niggas,
- 7:42Speaker 2: when you do ship like this, it makes it really
- 7:44Speaker 2: hard with the people out here that are trying to
- 7:48Speaker 2: advocate for us. It makes it gives you this vengeful
- 7:52Speaker 2: kind of souloist kind of vibe, like, well, ship, I
- 7:56Speaker 2: worked for my nigga worked for yours. Good luck. I mean,
- 7:59Speaker 2: just like how we were feeling the day after the
- 8:01Speaker 2: election about you know, other demographics and shit like that
- 8:04Speaker 2: was really real feelings in those moments. Yeah, I swear
- 8:09Speaker 2: if it wasn't for therapy some of y'all m anyways,
- 8:14Speaker 2: I'm just saying what you want to be like when
- 8:17Speaker 2: you grow up.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Let's see, I want to be like April Showers, who,
- 8:30Speaker 3: yes it's a real name. She is CEO right, She
- 8:36Speaker 3: is the CEO of Afro Unicorn, and I know those
- 8:41Speaker 3: who have young children have probably seen her products in targets.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Tar Ja all across the United States, the first black
- 8:55Speaker 3: owned woman who has founded a business to sell a
- 8:58Speaker 3: licensed character ran in a major retail and also she
- 9:07Speaker 3: now has a partnership with Build a Bear, so you
- 9:12Speaker 3: can go and get your own little cute, adorable unicorn
- 9:17Speaker 3: and build a bear that features.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Nic Actually there, Target is on the com up as
- 9:23Speaker 2: far as black people goes, because this isn't the first, uh,
- 9:27Speaker 2: this isn't the first story we've read from Target as
- 9:31Speaker 2: far as they're black brands that that uh shoot the
- 9:35Speaker 2: shaven people bevil. They make, you know, products for black men,
- 9:40Speaker 2: well for black people, I don't know. I just know
- 9:43Speaker 2: for the men that's at Target, black owned and operated
- 9:47Speaker 2: products specifically for black people.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Mm hmmm.
- 9:51Speaker 3: And they've always been big on that, And I love that.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I've found a story about Target that I'm gonna talk
- 10:00Speaker 2: about later on in the show. But as we moved along,
- 10:05Speaker 2: when I grew up, I want to be like doctor
- 10:07Speaker 2: Sadie Tanner Maso Alexander, Okay, I've always loved the name
- 10:11Speaker 2: Sadie for whatever reason, it reminds me of like a
- 10:15Speaker 2: strong ass black woman just like this. She is the
- 10:17Speaker 2: first African American woman to earn a PhD in economics,
- 10:21Speaker 2: and she earned this in nineteen twenty one. Article says
- 10:25Speaker 2: her pioneering spirit and relentless pursuit of education in a
- 10:28Speaker 2: time when both race and gender posed significant barriers. You
- 10:34Speaker 2: know they basically it was during that time that black
- 10:38Speaker 2: people were not receiving these kinds of educations. So shout
- 10:42Speaker 2: out to her. Doctor Alexander not only excelled in her
- 10:44Speaker 2: academic pursuits, but she also dedicated her life to advocating
- 10:49Speaker 2: for social justice and civil rights. She served as a
- 10:52Speaker 2: powerful voice for African Americans and the realms of economics
- 10:56Speaker 2: and in public policy. She worked organizations the naacp UH.
- 11:02Speaker 2: She use her expertise to address economic inequalities and promote
- 11:06Speaker 2: equitable opportunities for all. So definitely that I aspire that
- 11:11Speaker 2: kind of grind to carry that torch forward my own journey.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Shout outs to her.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Shout outs to both of them.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Oh giogy, let's move this podcast right along. You ready
- 11:23Speaker 2: for some letters? When I got one?
- 11:25Speaker 3: Sure, sure, sure, all right to you.
- 11:28Speaker 2: We'll be back in Just.
- 11:31Speaker 6: Hold on, hey us black men, black men, Okay, it's
- 11:35Speaker 6: something about black men and and the homosexual conversation.
- 11:41Speaker 3: That is.
- 11:44Speaker 1: It is a it is a mess.
- 11:47Speaker 6: The phobia as it relates to black men is the
- 11:53Speaker 6: elephant in the room, and no one will actually articulate
- 11:58Speaker 6: their devastation right because you have to.
- 12:02Speaker 1: You have to.
- 12:04Speaker 6: Think, like, for a black man, the worst thing to
- 12:08Speaker 6: be called yep, yep.
- 12:10Speaker 2: We go a step further.
- 12:12Speaker 7: If you want to discredit a black men, all y'all
- 12:15Speaker 7: do really is say that gay. A lot of us
- 12:17Speaker 7: have been really indoctrinated to think that any type of
- 12:19Speaker 7: femininity coming from us so as a man is a
- 12:22Speaker 7: literal disigner to our black masculinity. A lot of us
- 12:25Speaker 7: have taught that we are able to trivialize another person's manhood.
- 12:28Speaker 3: They don't live up to the masculine ideas that.
- 12:31Speaker 7: We have, which always makes it what There are certain men,
- 12:34Speaker 7: are certain ideas of men.
- 12:35Speaker 3: That's always under that.
- 12:37Speaker 7: I can hear all the convers sections right now, will concile,
- 12:40Speaker 7: I ain't homophobia because phobia mean fear, and I ain't
- 12:42Speaker 7: scared of him. Listen, I know what you're willing to
- 12:44Speaker 7: do to prove you ain't scared of them. But you're
- 12:45Speaker 7: forgetting the other part of the definition the word a version.
- 12:48Speaker 7: But there's also definitions of it that call it like
- 12:50Speaker 7: it is the dislike of or presudice against gay people.
- 12:54Speaker 7: A lot of us in our community justifies this because
- 12:57Speaker 7: we believe that the white supremacy has always tried to
- 12:59Speaker 7: assault black men with bug breaking and trying to de
- 13:02Speaker 7: mass play us in front of everybody. So we believe
- 13:04Speaker 7: the mere presence of a gay man is that exact thing,
- 13:08Speaker 7: de masculization and.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Attack on the black community, attack on black men.
- 13:11Speaker 7: I think that's the reason why so many of us
- 13:14Speaker 7: love to trivialize the same vender loving men in our community.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Something within our culture that has created this stigma. Yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 6: that that is the is the somehow there's a program
- 13:30Speaker 6: to make black men gay like.
- 13:33Speaker 1: You see it, you see it everywhere.
- 13:34Speaker 6: Yeah, for sure, there's an attack on there's an agenda
- 13:38Speaker 6: strong black men. But who's the attack coming from?
- 13:44Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Do you believe there's an attack?
- 13:47Speaker 2: How?
- 13:49Speaker 1: No, I'm asking do you believe that that would be?
- 13:51Speaker 2: That's my answer?
- 13:52Speaker 1: Oh how how mm hmm.
- 13:54Speaker 8: Well, I think, as people say it.
- 13:58Speaker 1: It's parts of our community.
- 14:00Speaker 7: It's more concern with symbolic attacks of gay people in
- 14:03Speaker 7: cartoons than they are with dead be dads.
- 14:05Speaker 1: If we're being real.
- 14:06Speaker 7: A lot of the paranoia and concern around the feminization
- 14:09Speaker 7: of men. Literally, this exposed is how we think about
- 14:12Speaker 7: femininity in women because we think that any feminized man
- 14:15Speaker 7: is too close to being women.
- 14:16Speaker 1: We like to do women.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Dominate him, think about them as objects, so we.
- 14:20Speaker 7: Can't have no men dishonoring they black masculinity and sliding
- 14:24Speaker 7: into it. That's the reason why you love to trivialize
- 14:26Speaker 7: they Menho is you really a man? Because you like
- 14:29Speaker 7: that over there? You in and see folks in the
- 14:31Speaker 7: comments right now. But didn't Tank, you know what I'm saying,
- 14:34Speaker 7: put it in his mouth one time? Yes, he did,
- 14:36Speaker 7: and he decided he didn't like it.
- 14:38Speaker 3: You feel me?
- 14:38Speaker 2: So it's just like.
- 14:39Speaker 7: Thinking about the way in which y'all love to think
- 14:41Speaker 7: about black masculinity in a very archaic, rigid way where
- 14:45Speaker 7: you can only define what it means to be like
- 14:47Speaker 7: a man in a way that you believe, and it
- 14:49Speaker 7: makes it well.
- 14:49Speaker 3: All the other ways.
- 14:50Speaker 7: That don't conform with that you finally justifiable to dominate
- 14:53Speaker 7: or exclude. It's probably the reason why Tanks initial responsible.
- 14:57Speaker 3: What it was.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Education is elevation.
- 14:59Speaker 8: I holler, oh, maybe not what you should use, but
- 15:03Speaker 8: definitely she would.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Ly, Hey, what's going on you guys? This is your girl,
- 15:08Speaker 3: miss Lyric, and I'm back with my segment if it
- 15:11Speaker 3: were Lyric, where I give my advice on your situationships, relationships,
- 15:16Speaker 3: and friendships and everything in between. Please continue to send
- 15:19Speaker 3: me your advice questions to my gmail at Licbrovado at
- 15:24Speaker 3: gmail dot com, and I will continue to answer them
- 15:28Speaker 3: in the order they were received. Okay, all right, because
- 15:33Speaker 3: I'm all right, let's get it going all right. First,
- 15:43Speaker 3: one is anonymous, it says, dear Lyric. I am twenty three.
- 15:49Speaker 3: My name is not telling you. Sorry, Okay, I want
- 15:55Speaker 3: to remain anonymous for me personally. My virginity has always
- 16:00Speaker 3: been a big thing for me, not for any religious reasons,
- 16:04Speaker 3: just a personal thing. My boyfriend of almost two years
- 16:07Speaker 3: has been very patient and never pressured me about it,
- 16:10Speaker 3: which I've always appreciated. A couple of nights ago, I
- 16:13Speaker 3: decided that I was finally ready and we did it.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Only it was so emotionally taxing and disappointing. I've always
- 16:20Speaker 3: had this idea that I'd want my first time to
- 16:23Speaker 3: be romantic and gentle, but he honestly treated it as
- 16:29Speaker 3: if we'd done it a million times. He didn't check
- 16:31Speaker 3: on me or come for me. Or ask me if
- 16:33Speaker 3: I was okay at any point, and it was very painful.
- 16:37Speaker 3: He texted me the next day asking what was wrong,
- 16:39Speaker 3: and I talked to him about it. He was apologetic
- 16:42Speaker 3: and felt guilty, but in one of his messages, he wrote,
- 16:45Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I couldn't focus on anything. You were making
- 16:47Speaker 3: me feel really good and it was hard to talk.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Was that supposed to be flattering? On one hand, I
- 16:53Speaker 3: feel like I'm being overcritical and had too much of
- 16:57Speaker 3: a high expectation. But on the other hand, I feel
- 16:59Speaker 3: so her and disappointed. I don't know if I ever
- 17:02Speaker 3: want to have sex again. I just want to ask
- 17:05Speaker 3: you about it because I have no one else to
- 17:07Speaker 3: talk to. What should I do?
- 17:10Speaker 2: Imagine being the nigga, right, Imagine being the nigga like that.
- 17:15Speaker 2: This is a your girl, right. And she said the
- 17:19Speaker 2: sex with you was so awful on her first time,
- 17:23Speaker 2: first time like this. Ain't nobody that's been holed out.
- 17:26Speaker 2: She was just like first time out, that nigga ain't
- 17:30Speaker 2: do this, he ain't do that, hen't make it, he
- 17:32Speaker 2: ain't check on me, he made sure he ain't do shit.
- 17:35Speaker 2: He just fucked it out of you, sent you on
- 17:38Speaker 2: your way and sent you a text. What's wrong imagine
- 17:41Speaker 2: being that dude? Mmm, y'all, God, y'all l mar is
- 17:48Speaker 2: hell it's now.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Well, honestly, I don't know any female that I've talked
- 17:56Speaker 3: to that and really enjoyed their first time. That shit hurts.
- 18:01Speaker 3: That ship hurts, and hell no, that ship I'm.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Not speaking from experience, virgin female.
- 18:12Speaker 9: Sorry, now I can tell you.
- 18:24Speaker 3: We can get Oh my god. I think people need
- 18:29Speaker 3: to have realistic expectations. Y'all watch too many movies. Y'all
- 18:33Speaker 3: watch too much point and y'all think that this is
- 18:37Speaker 3: how these real life situations actually work. That is not
- 18:42Speaker 3: how it is. Was extreme and sometimes it takes a
- 18:57Speaker 3: while because if nobody's gonna feel comm with their first
- 19:01Speaker 3: time doing something, it's of the unknown, like you don't
- 19:04Speaker 3: know what to expect, Like nobody's gonna feel comfortable, And
- 19:08Speaker 3: unfortunately it's gonna take a while for you to do so,
- 19:14Speaker 3: to know your body, for him to learn your body,
- 19:17Speaker 3: to know what you like. You've never done it before,
- 19:19Speaker 3: so how would you now. It's just gonna take some time.
- 19:23Speaker 3: The studies have shown that some women haven't even achieved
- 19:26Speaker 3: orgasm until they've reached the age of forty five.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Wow.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Yeah, had these experiences for a nice little period of
- 19:37Speaker 3: their life. So I think it's just something that you
- 19:42Speaker 3: should like relax about. If you don't want to, that's
- 19:47Speaker 3: perfectly fine, but just be open with your partner and
- 19:52Speaker 3: let him know how you feel and keep that line
- 19:54Speaker 3: of communication open so the next time, you know, you
- 20:00Speaker 3: could tell him how you feel and maybe he can
- 20:02Speaker 3: be more considerate of the situation. While y'all are doing
- 20:06Speaker 3: the nasty.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Hm, Well, since we talked about sex, this next letter,
- 20:14Speaker 2: I was gonna pick the one about this lady asking
- 20:16Speaker 2: about an emotional support cat. A girl, just go get
- 20:18Speaker 2: a cat. If your boyfriend don't like it, get the
- 20:20Speaker 2: goddamn cat. Fuck that nigga. Anyways, you see what a
- 20:24Speaker 2: bari is with these dudes. Anyways, all right, this one
- 20:26Speaker 2: is a little bit more spicy here lyrics. I've been
- 20:32Speaker 2: a loyal listener since last year two. If it were lyrics.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Segment never fails to bring a smile on my face,
- 20:38Speaker 2: even when life gets a little messy, kind of like
- 20:40Speaker 2: my dating life right now. So here's my situation. About
- 20:44Speaker 2: four years ago, I had a bit of a herpie
- 20:47Speaker 2: scare with someone I was dating. Let's just say. Let's
- 20:52Speaker 2: just say it wasn't exactly the romantic adventure I'd signed
- 20:55Speaker 2: up for. Fast forward to today, and I'm finding it
- 20:59Speaker 2: hard to navigate the dating scene. It's like trying to
- 21:02Speaker 2: dance with two left feet while wearing roller skates. I mean,
- 21:05Speaker 2: I cannot joke about it, like, at least I know
- 21:07Speaker 2: I'm not at least I know I'm not contagious. I'm
- 21:10Speaker 2: just emotionally unavailable. But it's starting to feel like past
- 21:15Speaker 2: is casting a long story, a long shadow over my
- 21:18Speaker 2: love life. I want to put myself out there, but
- 21:22Speaker 2: I can't shake off the anxiety of what might happen
- 21:25Speaker 2: if things heat up. How do I approach dating with
- 21:28Speaker 2: the confidence and clarity while still being honest about my
- 21:31Speaker 2: health history. I want to be upfront turning it into
- 21:35Speaker 2: a this is my I don't I'm sorry. I want
- 21:38Speaker 2: to be upfront without turning it into a this is
- 21:40Speaker 2: my life story kind of moment on the first date.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I'd love any advice or anything that you could share
- 21:46Speaker 2: to help me get my groove back while keeping it real.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Thanks for all the last and heartfelt moments you guys
- 21:51Speaker 2: bring to my day. Looking forward to hearing back from you, sincerely,
- 21:56Speaker 2: a hopeless romantic with a sense of humor that was
- 22:00Speaker 2: in the southern part.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Wait, so do they have it or they don't have it?
- 22:07Speaker 2: From what it breeds, I'm guessing that she does, but
- 22:11Speaker 2: or whoever this person is, that they do, I can't
- 22:14Speaker 2: even tell to a man or a woman. I'm guessing
- 22:17Speaker 2: that they do have it, but they're out here, you know,
- 22:21Speaker 2: trying to be into the dating scene, and they don't
- 22:23Speaker 2: want to on their first date be like, so, hey,
- 22:26Speaker 2: girl got these herbs, and uh, I just for you know, you.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Know, that was a bit confused because usually when you
- 22:34Speaker 3: say scared, that means it could have happened, but it didn't.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Like people say, oh, I had a pregnancy scare, but
- 22:44Speaker 3: scales are like come on, you.
- 22:48Speaker 2: May or maybe they meant something like a scare with
- 22:52Speaker 2: you know, he or she. Maybe they meant meant like
- 22:56Speaker 2: a scare as far as them possibly transmitting it to
- 22:59Speaker 2: their partner, and now it's kind of given them this
- 23:02Speaker 2: you know pause now about dealing with you know, well
- 23:07Speaker 2: nobody else moving forward. Well, a lot of people deal
- 23:12Speaker 2: with the thing.
- 23:15Speaker 3: If that is the case, It's not something that I
- 23:20Speaker 3: would talk about on a first date because you're just
- 23:23Speaker 3: getting to know the person. You don't even know if
- 23:25Speaker 3: you'll even have romantic like vibes with them that could
- 23:29Speaker 3: honestly end up being your friend. I've seen that happen
- 23:32Speaker 3: a lot where people have went on dates and they've
- 23:35Speaker 3: just been cool that no sparks flew, no, nothing like that,
- 23:40Speaker 3: and it was fine. I think it's a conversation when
- 23:47Speaker 3: you start to become a little bit more intimate that
- 23:50Speaker 3: needs to be had, like what do you think about
- 23:58Speaker 3: going to get tested or do you have when's the
- 24:01Speaker 3: last time you get tested? Like a lot of people
- 24:03Speaker 3: like forget to ask those type of questions when they're
- 24:07Speaker 3: like pursuing someone too, Like if we're gonna be intimate,
- 24:11Speaker 3: when's the last time you've been to the doctor? Hmm, Okay,
- 24:15Speaker 3: let's know. Let's know about that and not just check
- 24:19Speaker 3: for HIV because y'all, I'd love to like act like that.
- 24:23Speaker 3: That's the main like disease out here from sex Now
- 24:30Speaker 3: Cribs turn out, chlamydia, gonorrhea, The list goes on genital awards,
- 24:39Speaker 3: like I can come on, you have to like know
- 24:43Speaker 3: your status and don't be afraid to ask for somebody
- 24:46Speaker 3: else's status when they're trying to get your goods. Yeah,
- 24:50Speaker 3: every right to now. So when that time comes, definitely yes,
- 24:55Speaker 3: have that conversation. Let them know, you know, ahead of time,
- 24:58Speaker 3: and educate them too, because just because you have it
- 25:04Speaker 3: does not mean that you can automatically transmit it. As
- 25:07Speaker 3: a matter of fact, most of people, most people in
- 25:11Speaker 3: the United States, have a sort of strand with it,
- 25:14Speaker 3: especially if they've had chicken pox. It might not be like, uh, complex.
- 25:20Speaker 2: May not be the prominent one, right, It may not
- 25:23Speaker 2: be the prominent one everybody talks about.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Right, But most of the time it lays dormant within
- 25:33Speaker 3: your body. So it's nothing to be like ashamed of.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Just be honest about it, being like, look, this is
- 25:41Speaker 3: what it is. This happened to me, you know, I
- 25:44Speaker 3: want to be upfront and what's your status? What is
- 25:50Speaker 3: your status?
- 25:51Speaker 10: Talk?
- 25:52Speaker 3: Have a conversation about it. It's everybody's grown. Like, if
- 25:56Speaker 3: you're worried about somebody judging you about that, then I'm sorry,
- 26:01Speaker 3: but this is this is the world we live in.
- 26:04Speaker 3: And maybe you should try to pursue somebody you know
- 26:07Speaker 3: who has different values then and and and deet them
- 26:11Speaker 3: a little better and date them a little longer and understand, like,
- 26:17Speaker 3: everybody's not going to have the same ideas as you,
- 26:21Speaker 3: but it's nothing to be ashamed of. But the conversation
- 26:24Speaker 3: still needs to be had because that's very important.
- 26:26Speaker 2: You need to let really know, right, And I know
- 26:31Speaker 2: people make a lot of jokes about STDs and everything else.
- 26:34Speaker 2: I mean, you know, it's sort of like those fart
- 26:36Speaker 2: jokes and stuff that are ultimately meanly meaningless, but it
- 26:41Speaker 2: does create a stigma jokes mean things. This is why
- 26:44Speaker 2: I try to be tempered about the types of jokes
- 26:48Speaker 2: and stuff that I put out there into the world,
- 26:50Speaker 2: because then they turn it into bigger things like this,
- 26:53Speaker 2: you know, little comments about how haesian the dogs then
- 26:57Speaker 2: ultimately turn into a city wise campaigning troup to where
- 27:03Speaker 2: they're staying people eat dogs and cats like it's big.
- 27:06Speaker 2: It's bigger than that. So yeah, my heart goes out
- 27:10Speaker 2: to you as you navigate through it.
- 27:13Speaker 3: I hope you find somebody that you know will accept
- 27:16Speaker 3: you for you and you know, wrap it up, stay
- 27:19Speaker 3: protected absolutely. And that's about it for this week. On
- 27:24Speaker 3: if it were lit, tune in next week. We'll have
- 27:27Speaker 3: so much more.
- 27:30Speaker 2: All right, So on this timeline, this lyric A lot
- 27:34Speaker 2: happened this week. Cham Okay, we don't just have to Okay,
- 27:44Speaker 2: you know what, Let's take a break and we'll come back,
- 27:48Speaker 2: and we're gonna try to sort through what's important, what ain't,
- 27:51Speaker 2: what we care about, what we don't. All right, We'll
- 27:54Speaker 2: be right.
- 27:55Speaker 11: There's been discussion about how the conservative shift in politics
- 27:58Speaker 11: is being reflected in social media's algorithms, and I have
- 28:02Speaker 11: to believe that that is why my for you page
- 28:05Speaker 11: is so rancid right now. Rancid in the sense that
- 28:08Speaker 11: even some of the creators whose perspectives that I generally
- 28:11Speaker 11: respect are coming off very I'm trying to find a
- 28:16Speaker 11: nice word.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Conservatives.
- 28:19Speaker 11: The policing of imodest women is an example of this.
- 28:23Speaker 11: You think booty cheeks are inappropriate for homecoming, Fine, I
- 28:26Speaker 11: personally don't care. Postal girl dresses are workerware, so they
- 28:30Speaker 11: are impractical for the daytime, and many young women do
- 28:33Speaker 11: take cues from sex workers without understanding what comes with
- 28:36Speaker 11: that lifestyle. Fine, I agree, But why are we y'all
- 28:40Speaker 11: throwing around terms like hypersexual something that is a medical
- 28:44Speaker 11: condition that y'all are diagnosing people with based on clothing.
- 28:48Speaker 11: How did y'all go full red Peel by saying that
- 28:50Speaker 11: these women should not be surprised if they're harassed or
- 28:53Speaker 11: assaulted in this attire. Meanwhile, there is no actual correlation
- 28:57Speaker 11: between sexual violence and clothing. Men have just y'all to
- 29:00Speaker 11: believe that so that you brain women for their behavior.
- 29:03Speaker 11: Death feminism one on one, I thought we all got that.
- 29:06Speaker 11: Why are people spreading myths about HIV and a's like
- 29:09Speaker 11: it's the fucking eighties. Ronald Reagan asked, motherfucker's talking about
- 29:14Speaker 11: they shouldn't be allowed in tattoo shops and that prep
- 29:16Speaker 11: commercials are bad because they encourage.
- 29:18Speaker 10: People to sleep with infected people.
- 29:21Speaker 11: Somebody actually said that, why is it cool to now
- 29:24Speaker 11: openly mock disabled people under the guise of faux adoration.
- 29:29Speaker 11: I love Shan Bria the way that y'all are demonizing
- 29:32Speaker 11: radicals to cape for politicians before election day, Ill mocking
- 29:36Speaker 11: genocide victims and posting the number to ICE as a
- 29:39Speaker 11: joke in response to Kamala losing. Ill using identity politics
- 29:44Speaker 11: as a pejorative when you don't even know where that
- 29:46Speaker 11: term originated from, similar to how conservatives do woke, ILL
- 29:50Speaker 11: implying that trans women are not allowed to be upset
- 29:52Speaker 11: at being misgendered if they don't look feminine enough. Ill,
- 29:57Speaker 11: repackaging gender roles and sprinkling on spirituality, talking about dark
- 30:01Speaker 11: divine feminine energy.
- 30:02Speaker 10: Ill ill ill.
- 30:04Speaker 11: And now this just then, y'all are about to pretend
- 30:06Speaker 11: not to understand why a woman is saying not only
- 30:09Speaker 11: that she likes to be thin, which is her right,
- 30:11Speaker 11: but that sometimes it's all she thinks about to her
- 30:14Speaker 11: comments section that's.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Full of the most scary comments about women in.
- 30:17Speaker 11: Their pursuit of fitness. Now we're about to pretend like
- 30:19Speaker 11: we don't see why that's a fucking problem. I can't stand.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Y'all, what am I starting with? First?
- 30:27Speaker 2: Shit, I don't know what you start with first. So
- 30:32Speaker 2: let's see. Let's kick it off with Donald Trump says
- 30:39Speaker 2: Donald Trump plans to share I'm sorry, Donald Trump shares
- 30:45Speaker 2: plans to eliminate daylight savings time because you know, kids
- 30:51Speaker 2: can't eat school lunch because of school death, but you
- 30:54Speaker 2: know daylight savings time. Let's make that a priority. Did
- 30:57Speaker 2: you hear? All?
- 30:59Speaker 3: Right?
- 31:00Speaker 2: So basically, y'all, he's back in the headlines, and this
- 31:02Speaker 2: time he's talking about wanting to eliminate daylight saving time.
- 31:06Speaker 2: We out here trying to keep up with the sun,
- 31:08Speaker 2: and he's like, nah, let's just scrap it. But here's skipper.
- 31:11Speaker 2: It seems like he and Milania, like, have you noticed
- 31:14Speaker 2: how he and Milania keep echoing and keep copying the
- 31:18Speaker 2: same shit that Obama. I'm sorry that Barack and Michelle
- 31:22Speaker 2: did Barack been talking about Obama had that whole let's
- 31:27Speaker 2: keep it simple and keep people on a schedule energy.
- 31:30Speaker 2: And now here comes Trump thinking he's reinventing the wheel,
- 31:33Speaker 2: and you know he's given like, I want to be
- 31:36Speaker 2: the cool the cool kid in class, you know what
- 31:39Speaker 2: I'm saying. So I'm going to mimic the same shit
- 31:43Speaker 2: that the actual cool kids are doing. Like Malania her
- 31:47Speaker 2: dumbass us up there echo and Michelle's speaks mervado love,
- 31:57Speaker 2: don't live here anymore. You can't tell me.
- 32:01Speaker 3: You know where I used to live? For her snatching
- 32:03Speaker 3: her hand away from his ass.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Trying to make moments. But you know he's trying to
- 32:09Speaker 2: make that whole. You can't divorce that. So she's not
- 32:14Speaker 2: gonna be even to leave his ass even if she
- 32:16Speaker 2: wants to. That's gonna be interesting. So they like saving
- 32:21Speaker 2: time for those of y'all that don't know. It's been
- 32:23Speaker 2: a topic of debate for ages. Some folks love that
- 32:26Speaker 2: extra hour day, like other people are just like, why
- 32:31Speaker 2: am I loosing sleep? So Trump wants to make this
- 32:34Speaker 2: actual thing. So you know, if he wants to do that,
- 32:38Speaker 2: he better come up with some actual plans instead of
- 32:41Speaker 2: concepts of a plan. Right now, he ain't got it,
- 32:45Speaker 2: whether it's about the clock or the kitchen. Let's just
- 32:48Speaker 2: hope it leads to some real change for people, not
- 32:50Speaker 2: just another headline. What you got? What? What? What happened
- 32:58Speaker 2: in the world that you care?
- 33:00Speaker 12: Oh?
- 33:00Speaker 3: My gosh, speaking of wild, confused, dazed and other things.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Have you heard about the drama with remy Ma?
- 33:15Speaker 2: The head lines immediately scrolled paths because.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Last year we had we all got an inkling of
- 33:28Speaker 3: remy Ma possibly cheating on her husband Papoos with another
- 33:34Speaker 3: battle rapper who kind of sort of looks like the
- 33:38Speaker 3: TM version of him. Not so this is what makes
- 33:48Speaker 3: it funny. Over this weekend, I think Friday, this all
- 33:54Speaker 3: started off kicked off. Apparently Papoos has decided to move
- 33:59Speaker 3: on on from remy Mom, and he got himself a
- 34:05Speaker 3: young girlfriend who actually looks like the sheen version of
- 34:09Speaker 3: Remy Mo.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Okay, so how much whiskey led to the fight that
- 34:17Speaker 2: both of them was like I don't like you. I
- 34:19Speaker 2: don't like you either, and it's like this seems like
- 34:21Speaker 2: they're trying to make one another jealous.
- 34:23Speaker 3: So this is what happened. Papoos has been quiet throughout
- 34:28Speaker 3: this entire the bakery, even when he allegedly knocked out
- 34:38Speaker 3: the guy who was cheating with Remy Ma. Huh.
- 34:46Speaker 2: That guy's name is Easy, right, I think so?
- 34:49Speaker 3: Yeah, Easy, the Black Captain. So Papoose claims that he
- 34:56Speaker 3: knocked him out because not because he was sleeping with
- 35:00Speaker 3: remy Ma. It's because he shook his hand and then
- 35:03Speaker 3: slept with Remy Ma, which is very disrespectful. So I
- 35:09Speaker 3: guess they met each other.
- 35:11Speaker 2: And so you can sleep with my wife so long
- 35:16Speaker 2: as I'm sorry. You can sleep with my girl, my
- 35:18Speaker 2: my boo, my bag, so long as you don't sleep
- 35:21Speaker 2: with them after we've met, Like what I don't I mean?
- 35:26Speaker 3: But they were still married, so either way it is wrong.
- 35:29Speaker 3: It's still wrong. Just just separated, don't be with each other,
- 35:35Speaker 3: like I'm not understanding. So since Papoos decided to pop
- 35:39Speaker 3: out with his new boot remy Ma decided to pop
- 35:44Speaker 3: off one agie and basically started attacking Papoos and his
- 35:51Speaker 3: new girl, claiming that she doesn't cheat and she's been
- 35:57Speaker 3: holding it down and she has receipts of her her own.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Pappoose then finally responds and calls her narcissist on ig
- 36:07Speaker 3: and comes with his own receipts and provides photo evidence
- 36:10Speaker 3: of remy Ma actually cheating and being booed up cuddled
- 36:16Speaker 3: up under Christmas tree on Christmas Day. Man, she claims
- 36:23Speaker 3: she wasn't cheating with. So it has been an absolute mess.
- 36:28Speaker 3: I'm hoping they can just work through it, because honestly,
- 36:33Speaker 3: come on, now, just just just separate. Just separate. Y'all
- 36:38Speaker 3: got more than enough money to do so, like, just
- 36:40Speaker 3: just divide y'all shit and get out of each other's
- 36:44Speaker 3: life and move on.
- 36:48Speaker 2: That, y'all can, y'all can? Just y'all come up? Boy,
- 36:55Speaker 2: y'all can? Wow? Right, So let's get to this, uh
- 37:03Speaker 2: this this big story about Beyonce's husband out here allegedly
- 37:08Speaker 2: being named in this. Uh Okay, let me make sure
- 37:14Speaker 2: I temper my words correctly because the carters be soon
- 37:19Speaker 2: and in the Heaven and the Haven. And but you
- 37:27Speaker 2: know what the Hive, don't The Hive is like very
- 37:29Speaker 2: jay Z adjacent, you know what I'm saying, Like they're like,
- 37:32Speaker 2: that's Beyonce's husband versus that's jay Z. But then you
- 37:36Speaker 2: have some of like oh no, this, that and that's
- 37:39Speaker 2: beyond Okay. You can't make mistakes. So it's very important
- 37:44Speaker 2: that as you read these headlines. All right, you know what,
- 37:47Speaker 2: let me just read here's the sude. Now, reports of
- 37:52Speaker 2: surface about some wild parties that didd He's been throwing,
- 37:56Speaker 2: and it seems like jay Z's name got thrown into
- 37:59Speaker 2: the mix. Now there are all these allegations about the
- 38:03Speaker 2: nature of these parties, which suggests that these things might
- 38:06Speaker 2: have gotten, you know, a little bit out of hand.
- 38:09Speaker 2: And you know how the industry can be sometimes the
- 38:11Speaker 2: lines between celebration and chaos can kind of blur and
- 38:17Speaker 2: people start talking. Now, jay Z, being the businessman, the mogul,
- 38:22Speaker 2: the cultural icon, all of that that he is, has
- 38:25Speaker 2: always maintained a certain level of the quorum like he
- 38:29Speaker 2: always has. He's built his empire on a foundation of
- 38:32Speaker 2: respect and integrity. Yeah, so it's quite surprising to a
- 38:37Speaker 2: lot of people, including myself to see his name getting
- 38:41Speaker 2: dragged into the situation. People are wondering if he's just
- 38:44Speaker 2: a bystander or if he was actually involved, And that's
- 38:47Speaker 2: where the speculation kicks him because you know, like when
- 38:50Speaker 2: all of these allegations about Diddy first dropped, you had
- 38:54Speaker 2: all of these people that had ever taken a picture
- 38:57Speaker 2: with him. The nigga bit in like he's been in
- 39:02Speaker 2: the spotlight for twenty thirty some odd year, and now
- 39:06Speaker 2: everybody that's taking a picture with him, you know, people
- 39:10Speaker 2: side eye and you at the Diddy parties, this, that,
- 39:13Speaker 2: and the third. Jamie Fox just did a special on
- 39:15Speaker 2: Netflix where he made jokes about the shit too. So
- 39:18Speaker 2: I mean it's like, if you have a picture with Diddy,
- 39:22Speaker 2: now everybody's side eye on you now, Jake, But okay,
- 39:27Speaker 2: you know what, let's keep it real. This isn't just
- 39:29Speaker 2: about the allegation. This is about the broader implications of
- 39:33Speaker 2: how these narratives can affect their legacies. Jay Z has
- 39:37Speaker 2: worked hard to position himself it's not just a rapper,
- 39:41Speaker 2: but like a leader in the community, and he has,
- 39:45Speaker 2: and any association with questionable activities can tarnish that reputation.
- 39:50Speaker 2: And I think that's a little bit more. That's my
- 39:53Speaker 2: opinion of what's going on here. I feel like at
- 39:55Speaker 2: the end of the day, we need to wait for
- 39:57Speaker 2: information to come out before jumping to conclusion. I agree
- 40:01Speaker 2: in this industry is full of all kinds of rumors
- 40:04Speaker 2: and sometimes things get blown out of portion. But one
- 40:07Speaker 2: thing is for sure. Both jay Z and Diddy have
- 40:11Speaker 2: built their names on hustle and talent. I will say
- 40:15Speaker 2: that they have worked their asses off, and how they
- 40:18Speaker 2: navigate this situation will say a lot about their characters
- 40:20Speaker 2: moving forward. So let's keep our ears to the ground.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Let's see how this ship plays out, because a lot
- 40:27Speaker 2: of y'all will read headlines and go further. Right, there's
- 40:32Speaker 2: stuff coming out now about you know this kid that's
- 40:36Speaker 2: allegedly his that they've been talking about for years, him
- 40:41Speaker 2: next to jay Z. The little split screen thing that's.
- 40:45Speaker 3: That's always happening. It's been going on for at least ten,
- 40:49Speaker 3: maybe fifteen years that I've remembered, Like, yep, things can
- 40:55Speaker 3: easily be proven, y'all, they're.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Not, really, but then split pictures that okay, have you
- 41:03Speaker 2: seen blue sir? And the room you like? Okay, no
- 41:08Speaker 2: shade whatsoever?
- 41:10Speaker 3: Right.
- 41:10Speaker 2: But from what I've seen, what we've all seen from
- 41:13Speaker 2: them three kids, is that there's something There ain't a
- 41:19Speaker 2: DNA strand out here that can withstand that Camel Jean
- 41:24Speaker 2: because them babies look just like him. And they all
- 41:28Speaker 2: got that face. You know what I'm saying. They all
- 41:32Speaker 2: do adorable children, but they look like him. That kid did.
- 41:38Speaker 3: Not stress her as out.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Right, but that kid they got up there did not. Sorry,
- 41:46Speaker 2: didn't speaking of the Carters because I'm in that. On
- 41:53Speaker 2: a positive note, Beyonce's Be Good The b E y
- 41:57Speaker 2: b E y Good Be Good Foundation donates one hundred
- 42:01Speaker 2: thousand dollars to the University of Houston Law Center. And
- 42:08Speaker 2: did you see how did you see how jay Z
- 42:11Speaker 2: went out with Blue Ivy at the premiere? Yes, yes,
- 42:15Speaker 2: that was so cute.
- 42:17Speaker 3: We looked so cute she did.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Did you see how the internet was Wait, here's another one.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Did you see how the internet was picking them apart apart?
- 42:26Speaker 2: That little girl talking about what she had on at.
- 42:30Speaker 3: No, it was not right.
- 42:32Speaker 2: That was her moment. What is your what's your baby doing?
- 42:35Speaker 3: She was completely covered up. She just had her shoulders out,
- 42:39Speaker 3: that's expected for a strapless dress. She was she was
- 42:44Speaker 3: very covered and it's very age appropriate. In my opinion,
- 42:48Speaker 3: she looked like princess you did.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Leave her alone. Leave them alone, y'all. Y'all picking apart
- 42:56Speaker 2: children has never bull threw a well for me, never
- 43:00Speaker 2: has that. That's always really irritated me because their children
- 43:04Speaker 2: stop this grown ass adults. Uh.
- 43:09Speaker 3: And she really looks like the perfect mix between them too,
- 43:12Speaker 3: Like she is so cute. Remember when they used to
- 43:15Speaker 3: talk about her hair and.
- 43:17Speaker 2: All types I do, yep, nothing different than any other
- 43:22Speaker 2: black child out here. And now it's like, oh, well,
- 43:26Speaker 2: everything they do is gonna be scrutinized. That's why with
- 43:30Speaker 2: these allegations and things, I'm waiting until the story comes out.
- 43:33Speaker 2: I really am, and I mean, and I'm that way
- 43:36Speaker 2: across the board. I'll make jokes here and there, but
- 43:39Speaker 2: I'm not going to again. I'm tempered with the jokes
- 43:43Speaker 2: that I make because I know that they can turn
- 43:45Speaker 2: into something large. They really can. Christina Milian defended Blue
- 43:51Speaker 2: Ivy following the backlash over the dress she said she wore.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Uh yeah, Christina Milion went off, let go check that out,
- 44:03Speaker 2: let's see. Spoke about the recent allegations made against Jay
- 44:07Speaker 2: Z they said, quote he said, quote, the NFL wouldn't
- 44:13Speaker 2: necessarily be associated to that if you headlines later the
- 44:17Speaker 2: NFL said, oh, no, we have no plans on jay
- 44:23Speaker 2: Z from anything at this point. Girl, what are you
- 44:25Speaker 2: talking about?
- 44:26Speaker 3: Right?
- 44:27Speaker 2: So? I think that's a little bit more rooted and hate,
- 44:30Speaker 2: because you know, you got all these people still mad
- 44:32Speaker 2: at jay Z because he didn't pick Wayne for the
- 44:34Speaker 2: Super Bowl. Yeah, you got a lot of that hate
- 44:39Speaker 2: going on. You got a lot of this, in my opinion,
- 44:42Speaker 2: you got a lot of this misdirection as far as
- 44:45Speaker 2: our energy and our attentions. You know, you got all
- 44:47Speaker 2: these high profile people with all these rape allegations, all
- 44:53Speaker 2: of these misconduct allegations and all this past buckery right
- 44:57Speaker 2: now being appointed to play is under Donald Trump's cabinet.
- 45:01Speaker 2: But then they're like, oh, but jay Z may have
- 45:04Speaker 2: been at the Didty parties. So again, keep you'all's eyes
- 45:08Speaker 2: open saying.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Nobody is safe about these Diddy parties. You know, they
- 45:20Speaker 3: dragging Robin Williams the headline.
- 45:27Speaker 2: What are we talking about?
- 45:30Speaker 3: Listen. Robin Williams has been recently talked about in some
- 45:35Speaker 3: blogs on i G stating that he knew what was
- 45:38Speaker 3: going on and that's one of the reasons why he
- 45:44Speaker 3: decided to Oh, allegedly, he faked. He's faked his own
- 45:49Speaker 3: death as well.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Robin Williams faked his own he faked his own suicide.
- 45:57Speaker 3: That makes sense apparently, So okay, it's weird.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Speaking of outright fuckery, let's talk about Luigi. You want
- 46:15Speaker 2: this one or you want me to leave because I
- 46:18Speaker 2: can't get through it? All right, So NBC News headline
- 46:23Speaker 2: saying this is what first grabbed me after his disappearance,
- 46:27Speaker 2: Luigi Luigi Mangione re emerged as a suspect in a
- 46:31Speaker 2: high profile killing. Those who know him are dazed before
- 46:36Speaker 2: it's the rest this week and the killing of United
- 46:38Speaker 2: Healthcare CEO. Mangione's family desperately tried to find him, reaching
- 46:44Speaker 2: out the former classmates and posting queries on social media
- 46:48Speaker 2: lyrics I hate being a conspiracy like I don't like troupe.
- 46:55Speaker 2: I don't like going down the conspiracy theory rabbit holes
- 46:59Speaker 2: because there's so many of them and there's so much fuckery.
- 47:04Speaker 2: But you've been missing. Did you show up as the
- 47:09Speaker 2: as the person that shot the CEO.
- 47:11Speaker 3: At McDonald's with everything on you and you expect me
- 47:18Speaker 3: to fucking believe that ship have a professional hit man.
- 47:22Speaker 3: You're just happy to have the hoodie, the manifesto, the weapon.
- 47:27Speaker 2: This ain't no fun.
- 47:37Speaker 3: I think he was hired and he is out of here,
- 47:40Speaker 3: and y'all just got you a little skategoat motherfucker that like, yeah,
- 47:45Speaker 3: I think it's funny business. And let's not act like
- 47:48Speaker 3: it's like it's impossible.
- 47:51Speaker 2: It's people are speculating that this is all connected to
- 47:55Speaker 2: the cutthroat nature of the healthcare industry, like profits are
- 47:58Speaker 2: on the line, you gotta lot at state. There is
- 48:01Speaker 2: no surprise the tensions. Can you boil over? But let's
- 48:04Speaker 2: be real, this kind of balance is like in that
- 48:09Speaker 2: that's just too it's too calculated for me as a person.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Everything is just right there. It's just right there, Like there's.
- 48:18Speaker 3: Just because he had a cure for HIV and he
- 48:26Speaker 3: must he he allegedly mysteriously died of pneumonia. Get the
- 48:31Speaker 3: fuck out of my face. Y'all killed that man because.
- 48:35Speaker 2: Our opinion and my my opinion.
- 48:39Speaker 3: Y'all killed that man because why profits there's no money
- 48:46Speaker 3: and a cure. There's money to be made on on
- 48:50Speaker 3: on treating symptoms.
- 48:52Speaker 2: Though there is. But let's be but let's be honest,
- 48:57Speaker 2: like even let's say, for example, that this did happen
- 49:01Speaker 2: and everything is on black and my start on paper
- 49:05Speaker 2: as this, and this is what we're told to believe
- 49:08Speaker 2: moving forward. Let's just be honest with ourselves in this
- 49:16Speaker 2: being the first of many things that could possibly happen,
- 49:20Speaker 2: in my opinion, because it seems like y'all are cutting
- 49:26Speaker 2: like you don't realize that this coming administration, You don't
- 49:31Speaker 2: realize how many lives they're about, you seriously impact. This
- 49:36Speaker 2: is not just four years of you know, the up
- 49:40Speaker 2: and down, and we kind of balance it and we
- 49:42Speaker 2: find like a happy medium for everybody. It's not that
- 49:45Speaker 2: it's literally the rich coming in deciding who is and
- 49:50Speaker 2: who isn't worthy. And a lot of the people that
- 49:54Speaker 2: are going to be deemed not worthy are the people
- 49:56Speaker 2: that oppose their personal opinions and beliefs. Imagine that.
- 50:00Speaker 3: M hm.
- 50:01Speaker 2: So that's where we stand with this. Let me see
- 50:05Speaker 2: what else. It's so much to happen this week. There's
- 50:08Speaker 2: just certain ones that I just want to kind of
- 50:10Speaker 2: honorably mention. Let's see Bill Clintons. He shared his take
- 50:16Speaker 2: on the twenty twenty four election, he said, quote according
- 50:20Speaker 2: to the Shading Room, he says, quote Donald Trump won
- 50:23Speaker 2: the race Faren Square, I think, which okay, fine, but Bill.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Clinton, I know you ain't talking.
- 50:34Speaker 2: I mean, listen, he's saying, I think he won the
- 50:38Speaker 2: race Faren Square. And you know what, Kamala echoes. He
- 50:41Speaker 2: says that he won. But I don't know. I'll know
- 50:46Speaker 2: how I feel about him going you know, oh yeah,
- 50:48Speaker 2: this third. I guess they don't want to paint that
- 50:50Speaker 2: same kind of picture that he did in the twenty
- 50:52Speaker 2: twenty election. I didn't really lose this that and the third.
- 50:55Speaker 2: So in some ways I can see how this, you know,
- 51:00Speaker 2: how he would make that statement. But in other ways,
- 51:02Speaker 2: I'm thinking, you know, maybe sometimes it's okay to shut up.
- 51:06Speaker 2: Maybe sometimes that's what I'm saying, just maybe just a
- 51:09Speaker 2: little bit. Yeah, and everything else, Monica, Wow, you got
- 51:21Speaker 2: anything else you want to talk about?
- 51:25Speaker 3: No, I don't really care about anything else.
- 51:28Speaker 2: Good, then I can bitch about y'all on other toucasity
- 51:32Speaker 2: next and people being bad parents. I'm sorry, I know
- 51:35Speaker 2: I ain't got no kids. You know what, I'm gonna
- 51:37Speaker 2: get into a next We'll be right back.
- 51:40Speaker 7: So Sene fashion over and t mooseeal products that cause cancer. Yes,
- 51:44Speaker 7: researching for me, search shirt this video with your mama,
- 51:47Speaker 7: your daddy, your cousins and them, especially them, they love
- 51:49Speaker 7: to get them big old halls or the t mud
- 51:51Speaker 7: or the sheen of the fashion machine and t mood
- 51:54Speaker 7: products found to contain high levels of toxic chemicals. Authorities
- 51:57Speaker 7: in South Korea found that some items machine clothes that
- 51:59Speaker 7: cantaining carcinogenic substances hundreds of times over the legal and
- 52:03Speaker 7: research or a research Just so we clear when we
- 52:06Speaker 7: ask ourselves, how does carcinergy cous cancers? There's three major
- 52:09Speaker 7: ways dnay damage, genetic changes and sell growth. I'm not
- 52:13Speaker 7: gonna get into the specification and pause to read it,
- 52:15Speaker 7: but listen, they are selling products that cause cancer.
- 52:17Speaker 2: Back to this articer of ladies.
- 52:18Speaker 7: Specifically, let's get into the specifics. Women arecessory sold by
- 52:22Speaker 7: some of the world's most popular online shopping firms, contain
- 52:25Speaker 7: toxic substances, sometimes one hundred times above the acceptable levels.
- 52:31Speaker 2: I get it. I like cheap shit too, but education
- 52:33Speaker 2: is elevation.
- 52:34Speaker 7: Man and fast fashion is made with alarming high amounts
- 52:37Speaker 7: of toxic chemicals. The manufacturers are able to get us
- 52:40Speaker 7: these cheap products at the expense of our own health.
- 52:42Speaker 7: What if the CEO will these fash fashion companies be
- 52:45Speaker 7: clicking up with the CEOs of the health pharmacy industries
- 52:48Speaker 7: and they be causing this cancer to be able to
- 52:50Speaker 7: profit on the back end, in the front end conspiracy
- 52:52Speaker 7: right mem me In twenty nineteen and Fashion over put
- 52:55Speaker 7: those warning labels on their thirty four dollars whims about
- 52:57Speaker 7: the causing cancer. Remember that follow for more because in
- 53:00Speaker 7: my next udeo, I'm gonna get into how fast fashion
- 53:02Speaker 7: is also bad for the environment. Yes, education is elevation
- 53:05Speaker 7: and research over me search shared with your cousin there.
- 53:08Speaker 12: The largest has your glib okay, So earlier this week
- 53:15Speaker 12: on Facebook, you know, i'd be doing Facebook shenanigans.
- 53:21Speaker 2: And I know that a lot of listeners of ours
- 53:24Speaker 2: that are parents, I know some of you are, you know,
- 53:28Speaker 2: parents from all different walks of life. We got straight parents,
- 53:31Speaker 2: gay parents, otherwise. And you know, one of the things
- 53:36Speaker 2: that has always been a just one of the things
- 53:39Speaker 2: that's really just gotten under my skin about parenting. Our
- 53:44Speaker 2: people are bad parents. It always has been. And I
- 53:49Speaker 2: posted this, I said, beating young people into submission doesn't
- 53:53Speaker 2: force them into seeing things the way you'd like them to,
- 53:55Speaker 2: and certainly isn't raising them right in case you weren't unclear.
- 54:00Speaker 2: And those of y'all about to comment Bible phrases or
- 54:03Speaker 2: tell me your own success stories add despite of instead
- 54:08Speaker 2: of because of in your statement, and what I meant
- 54:12Speaker 2: by that, a lot of people go or they kind
- 54:16Speaker 2: of lead with this energy of well, I got beat
- 54:19Speaker 2: and because I got beat, I turned out all right.
- 54:21Speaker 2: So this that and the third and they kind of
- 54:23Speaker 2: lead with this energy and it's like, no, you got
- 54:25Speaker 2: beat and despite of being beaten, you were still successful.
- 54:31Speaker 2: People attribute because of because I was beaten, because these
- 54:36Speaker 2: kinds of things happened to me, that is how I
- 54:40Speaker 2: am the way that I am today. Now, all of
- 54:45Speaker 2: that energy aside now, And I'm not saying that y'all
- 54:49Speaker 2: have to be the good parent of perfect parents. You
- 54:53Speaker 2: don't even have to be good parents, But have y'all
- 54:55Speaker 2: tried not being bad ones? Like I want to ask
- 54:58Speaker 2: y'all something completely retorted because you know it's podcast, But
- 55:02Speaker 2: when was the last time you've looked up the statistics
- 55:04Speaker 2: of these practices? Are y'all aware that, like proven research
- 55:10Speaker 2: indicates a really troubling correlation between the use of corporal
- 55:13Speaker 2: punishment on children, like beating your child, and the likelihood
- 55:18Speaker 2: of domestic violence against partner. So the same niggas beating
- 55:22Speaker 2: their kids are the same ones beating y'all's asses. Just
- 55:25Speaker 2: so now, now, the percentages themselves are widespread based on
- 55:29Speaker 2: whatever it is that you know, wherever it is that
- 55:31Speaker 2: y'all live. But the findings themselves suggests that parents who
- 55:35Speaker 2: use physical discipline are more likely to exhibit abusive behaviors
- 55:40Speaker 2: in their relationships. Also, and a shocking but not shocking.
- 55:43Speaker 2: For instance, a study published in the American Journal of
- 55:47Speaker 2: Family Law noted that men who engage in physical punishment
- 55:52Speaker 2: with their kids are significantly more likely to also engage
- 55:56Speaker 2: in violence against their partners. Some studies report that up
- 55:59Speaker 2: to forty to fifty percent of half of them who
- 56:03Speaker 2: use corporal punishment may also beat your ass. This is
- 56:07Speaker 2: why I'm stunned every time somebody hops online to tell
- 56:11Speaker 2: the rest of us that they not only beat their kids,
- 56:13Speaker 2: but y'all be like ten toes down, y'all be proud
- 56:16Speaker 2: of it, And I'm confused. I'm left with this confusion,
- 56:23Speaker 2: and you have so many that very regularly get rattled
- 56:27Speaker 2: and feel triggered by statements like that post and like
- 56:31Speaker 2: the one I'm making now. And if you want it
- 56:33Speaker 2: in people, that's for you to work out. You've grown
- 56:36Speaker 2: as niggas it is. Get yourselves into a therapist's office
- 56:41Speaker 2: and work out why parenting somebody new to this world
- 56:44Speaker 2: isn't for you or isn't enough for you. Why is
- 56:47Speaker 2: it that you have to crave that I may in
- 56:49Speaker 2: that violence over you kind of fear control versus developing
- 56:53Speaker 2: the skills and the range that would actually make you
- 56:57Speaker 2: much more effective parent and actually earn the respect. So
- 57:01Speaker 2: many of y'all will rather lie to yourselves or trick
- 57:04Speaker 2: yourselves into believing that you have from the people that
- 57:07Speaker 2: you violently manipulated.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Do that.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Why do I let my frustrations with my child's behavior
- 57:16Speaker 2: allow me to enact violence against them? Why don't know
- 57:19Speaker 2: I have a stronger character to parent my child without
- 57:21Speaker 2: it used to psychologically damaging illegal means. Start there, then
- 57:27Speaker 2: allow your therapists to take the wheel down the rabbit
- 57:29Speaker 2: hole of your own desires to have the same control
- 57:33Speaker 2: that white people feel like they should have over us.
- 57:36Speaker 2: That's why this segment is called oldconcastity because the bullshit
- 57:40Speaker 2: that y'all do that the white man does to us.
- 57:45Speaker 2: Go take that shit to your therapist, take that wild
- 57:49Speaker 2: ride together and sort that shit out before you get
- 57:51Speaker 2: online feel triggered and end up sounded dumb like the
- 57:54Speaker 2: rest of us, because y'all will get on somebody's status
- 57:57Speaker 2: and be like, oh, well, I fully agree, but and
- 58:00Speaker 2: then you'll go on to like jump in with the
- 58:03Speaker 2: testimony of your own failures in order to justify your
- 58:08Speaker 2: bullshit because you feel rattled somebody told you what you
- 58:10Speaker 2: were doing is wrong, and instead of saying, you know
- 58:13Speaker 2: what I am wrong, let me go get this shit
- 58:15Speaker 2: figured out, y'all won't do that. Y'all will go and
- 58:19Speaker 2: be like, oh, well, I mean I'm wrong, but I'm
- 58:21Speaker 2: beating my kids. Fuck y'all. Fuck you mean. This is why, like,
- 58:24Speaker 2: very seldomly I get along with straight man very s
- 58:31Speaker 2: I really do, Like I'm not one of those weaker
- 58:34Speaker 2: people that straight men tend to get around like they
- 58:41Speaker 2: do this like trauma bond and what they boys where
- 58:43Speaker 2: they all have had like these and I mean people
- 58:46Speaker 2: do that in general, but I've noticed that, you know,
- 58:49Speaker 2: we've developed these circles of people accepting poor behaviors and
- 58:55Speaker 2: then they've just had us on the back, and it's
- 58:57Speaker 2: like this bro code and we don't speak bad of
- 58:59Speaker 2: it our brothers even when they're doing funk shit. I'm
- 59:02Speaker 2: not that person, so perhaps you know, I'm not for
- 59:07Speaker 2: every circle. You know, every circle now for women, y'all,
- 59:11Speaker 2: It's important to recognize that these stats are part of
- 59:14Speaker 2: a broader issue of violence and aggression, family dynamics, normalizing
- 59:19Speaker 2: physical discipline. It starts the cycle of abuse. Leave that
- 59:26Speaker 2: lonely ass, broken nigga alone until he goes and works
- 59:30Speaker 2: this shit out and unlearns these harmful behaviors. Because these
- 59:35Speaker 2: cats will double talk y'all into falling for the okie
- 59:38Speaker 2: dook if you let them, they will, and that's more
- 59:41Speaker 2: systemic than anything these again, these dudes crave the power
- 59:45Speaker 2: that the white man's haves. But like any and other
- 59:50Speaker 2: abusive behavior, you got to get help for that, bro.
- 59:55Speaker 2: That's it. That's all what you got.
- 59:58Speaker 3: The samis lyric, I'm I'm all for what she said,
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: and I'm an agreeance. However, there we go.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Don't you start caping for these straight men?
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: I am not. However, under extreme circumstances. At the very least,
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: I believe in yoking your child the fuck up. The
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: reason why I say that is because I saw, of
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: course it's Walmart, but I saw this video of this
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: little girl. She had to be about maybe.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: I know what you're talking about.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: And she no, she was a little black girl and
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: she was racking shop in that Walmart. Yeah. This, this
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: is a whole all the time you're talking about. Girl.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: She taking all the ship and she's knocking it over.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: She's throwing far up bottles of.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Of like.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: Sparkling cider and ship tossing that ship over, knocking everything over,
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: just causing mass destruction. And the mom is sitting there
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: talking to her, come on, so and so let's stop,
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: let's calm down, and blah blah blah. And the girl
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: did what she looked her dead in her fucking eye.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: And like one of them cat videos where they knocked
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: shit off the the counter, blue everything gone off the display,
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: she started pushing over displays and shiit.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for instances like that.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Sometimes, But do you see okay, and I hear you, oh,
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: and you know what, I completely hear you on that.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: But well, let me say that, Yeah, let me say this.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: Here's the thing that did not just start right then
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: there in that Walmart. That behavior started as a result.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: That behavior started as a result of some bullshit that
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: she failed to address before. Again, guarantee, because you don't
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: just up one day unless there's something mentally going on.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: But you don't just up one day a run Walmart
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: and start breaking shit unless you have a past history
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: of not getting your way in the ship, not being
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: checked at that point at the what happens is y'all
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: sit your babies in front of these blue You'll sit
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: them in front of Blueie. You'll set them in front
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: of YouTube. You'll pacify them and not raise them. You'll
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: make it to where you'll make it to what exactly.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: You will quell these children into just shutting up so
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: that you can live life. And then the moment that
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: they step out of line or quote unquote embarrass you,
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: that's when you want to jump in with these corporal
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: parenting skills. That shit should have been addressed prior to
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: you get into the Walmart and then becoming the next
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: viral video that's talked about on WRTR. So it is
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: what it is get your shit together, all of y'all is.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: I'm like, ugh, ooh, I couldn't do it. I could
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: not do it.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: But that's all. Stop trying to be like white people.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Do better, and we'll be back with the second happens
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: to right here? Wrtr real talk rady?
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: What do I have to do this counsel in order
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: to get respect as a black woman.
- 1:03:44Speaker 10: I'm not afraid of anybody here. When I make a mistake,
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: I will be clear. I don't hate you as a
- 1:03:50Speaker 10: white woman. I don't hate you as a white man.
- 1:03:54Speaker 10: I am sick and tired of this body so stupidly racially.
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: Do so afraid, so depraved people with no faith because
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: they are afraid of they're.
- 1:04:08Speaker 10: Losing their investment. They're afraid of bargaining, they're afraid of leveraging.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: These people have.
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: Oh my god, I can't even call you conwers because
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: desperation deserves mercy. Here's a redistricting fine, we give it
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: to a white woman.
- 1:04:27Speaker 10: Can we all get along? Can we get together?
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: Can we love each other now? Can we make sure
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: that black and brown babies don't die? Can we make
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: sure that cops don't kill before people.
- 1:04:38Speaker 10: Are proven innocent. Can we do that?
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: No, no, no, no, because this body crucifies you first
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: because of allegations.
- 1:04:46Speaker 10: This is not in court.
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: You don't get to crucify people before they're proven guilty.
- 1:04:53Speaker 10: They're innocent, they'l proven guilty.
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: Now after this, I will look forward to working with
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: you because I have stamina. I believe, as Baldwin said,
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: what you do not what you say. Your votes here
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: a sometimes a racist. You move sometimes in a way
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: that hurts my people. And then when I get up
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: to stand up and talk, oh sean, she talks about
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: black stuff. I am here to represent every single black
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: woman and man does in the community.
- 1:05:33Speaker 10: God has my back. I am not afraid to not.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: Political a sign or any type of affiliations of connections.
- 1:05:44Speaker 10: I came here.
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: I fear none, no man but my Lord. I came
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: here to serve people. I came here to love. I
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: came here to grow.
- 1:06:00Speaker 10: But people talk about this racial equity thing.
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: It's all fake and you do politics and you hurt
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: each other. And yet here right, I am a five
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: foot tall African woman from the projects, and I'm here
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: to tell you, if the voters don't vote.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Me back, take us to take us ago, take us
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: wherever you go. RTR Real Talk Radio.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Back, it's the second half of the show, he earns
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: w RTR Real Talk Radio. So Lyric, we were talking
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: about Target earlier, right.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: Yes, got sneeze, Got sneeze. What's going on with Target?
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: All right? Target it's about to up the game and
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: launch in their stores bar and they're serving up something
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: called targer ritas.
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: You are fucking.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: Lion, not Lyon, not lion.
- 1:07:13Speaker 10: You heard it right.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: We're talking about margaritas that are straight up ready to
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: make your shopping experience a mini vaca. Picture this. So
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: you roll it through Target right, looking for that perfect
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: throat blanket. Roll that. There's a bar right in the
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: middle of the aisles. Right you stop, You grab yourself
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: at Target rita sip on that thing while you're browsing
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: down the kitchen. Gads, it's seeing Nigga wink And now
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: suddenly you're feeling like you're at the beach of CanCon
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: instead of just trying to find some paper towels.
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: Retailing ship, don't do it. If y'all gonna make Target Walmart,
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: it's gonna be fighting. It's gonna be bitches stealing each
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: other in the face because they're too drunk and can't
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: handle their ship. Don't do it. You gotta make Target Walmart.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: But here's the thing, that's what that's where my mind went,
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: because now you got us as a people boycott and Walmart.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: So where's the next place we're gonna go. We're gonna
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: go to Target because they seem to be doing things
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: for black people. Now god knows, Oh god, I didn't
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: say it out loud. They might disappoint me, but for
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: right now, it seems like they real pro over there.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: So if that's the case, cool, But just realize you
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: now have a entirely new demographic that's about to start
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: to come to your story. And then you're about to
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: give a liquor on top of that. Good, But what
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: you think, miss lerc you're getting a Tarker breath? No, wraw,
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: it might be good.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: Let's go to getting people causing the pocket lot that
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: shit gonna ghetto. Get tell I'm not here for I.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: Don't do it.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: If you want to know market you a brand that
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: you can sell inside the stores and that they can
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: take the fuck home. Don't in your damn store. Hell
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: readers to go like as they should I'll be mad
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: as ship. I come outside after trying to just get
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: some toilet paper and my car then't got a big
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: ass dent in it because you didn't let somebody order
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: like five and they ain't a personaders I don't know.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: You there with your Saturday out and with your baby,
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden the bar drunk stumbles
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: over and falls on your baby. It seems like idea
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: target to me.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: That's why I said, too many fights gonna break out.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: You're gonna get the hood girls and then beefing and ship,
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: I'm gonna see that, see their man out shopping with
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: their side boom, it's gonna be fight it tell you
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: don't hold on.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Does that mean that they're gonna be changing their hours though,
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: because if you think about it, don't. I can't imagine
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: a whole bunch of people throwing back they drink, so
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: the bar that closes it nine because some targets like
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: close it eight or nine. Yeah, yeah, I don't know
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: what y'all got going on.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: Drinkers do exist. That's why the liquor store stays open
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: and the people be outside begging. That ain't stop nobody. Okay,
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: somebody want to have a drink at six a m.
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: Guess what, Yeah.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: Good luck Target. Believe me out of that, right my
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: Tholes of Meigs, I agreed is girl.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: You know, now we have.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: Some big news right now.
- 1:11:06Speaker 13: Amazon is gearing up to give a one million dollar
- 1:11:08Speaker 13: donation to the Donald Trump Inaugural Committee, hours after Mark
- 1:11:13Speaker 13: Zuckerberg and Meta gave a similar one million dollar donation.
- 1:11:16Speaker 13: It really seems like all the big companies and billionaires
- 1:11:19Speaker 13: are lining up behind this inaugural committee right now. So
- 1:11:22Speaker 13: Amazon and Jeff Bezos will be giving one million dollars
- 1:11:24Speaker 13: to the Inaugural Committee to assist with planning inaugural events,
- 1:11:28Speaker 13: but also to help with staffing, et cetera, for like
- 1:11:30Speaker 13: the inaugural ball, the actual inaugural parade, things like that.
- 1:11:34Speaker 13: Mark Zuckerberg also is giving a million dollars via Meta
- 1:11:37Speaker 13: to the Inaugural Committee.
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:11:39Speaker 13: Interestingly, like I said earlier, Mark Zuckerberg and Meta did
- 1:11:41Speaker 13: not donate in twenty seventeen to Trump or to twenty
- 1:11:44Speaker 13: twenty one for Biden.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: But Mark Zuckerberg did.
- 1:11:46Speaker 13: Go to mar A Lago meet with Donald Trump, and
- 1:11:48Speaker 13: well he's now donating. And Jeff Bezos, as you know,
- 1:11:51Speaker 13: is the owner of the Washington Boat says well and
- 1:11:52Speaker 13: blocked an endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris this cycle,
- 1:11:55Speaker 13: and now his company Amazon will be donating a million
- 1:11:58Speaker 13: dollars to the Trump Committee. We'll see if Microsoft or
- 1:12:01Speaker 13: Apple or anyone else does as well. Hum believe that's
- 1:12:04Speaker 13: by the word of Houlong for all the news you
- 1:12:05Speaker 13: need to know about.
- 1:12:06Speaker 10: Why do you have religious why? Why?
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Why file?
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: Why do my children hate me?
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Are real Talk Radio?
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: Why did I have a Dina Burn?
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Truth is out there.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: Explaining the unexplained. We're answering why the questions you want
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: to know by taking your inbox messages that w R
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: t R Real Talk Radio on Instagram. Oh, let's see,
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: this is the wild files. Remember the truth is out there.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: I got one from Jamal from Baltimore. Y'all's wiser becoming
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: like letters because this is a whole thing. Jamal from
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: Baltimore says, I just saw a headline about an indictment
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: of two police officers in ann Arundo County. So here's
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: my why question. Why are we still seeing police officers
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: being indicated for misconduct? I'm sorry, why are we seeing
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: the police officers being indicted? He said indicated, Wow, indicat
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: indicted for misconduct and what steps are being taken to
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: ensure accountability and rebuild trust within the community. H Yeah, okay, Jama.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: So here's the thing. When police officers are indicted, they're
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: brought in for questioning their you know whatever. As far
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: as rebuilding trust within the community people, I don't know.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: It's always been a case case thing in my opinion,
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: like if you made a bad call here or there
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: that did not end up in the ending of someone's life.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: That is one thing what we continue to see is
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: is police brutality. What we continue to see are mistakes
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: that then have a lifetime of consequences. Yeah, fucking up
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: a report here, they're fine, whatever that happens. But when
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: you are actually talking like police officers are charged with
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: the responsibility of holding down the community that they serve.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: That has been so missed by a lot of police
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: officers that go in with the desire to control, with
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: the desire to manipulate. They want power, and that is
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: the reason that they take these jobs. When you pair
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: that with the actions that they have, it all aligns.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: You have, Like, for example, the whole situation with you
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: know what, I'm not even going to give that as
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: an example. I'm just gonna say on a broad scale,
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: police officers are meant to They're not meant to control,
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: they're not meant to bully. And I think that a
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: lot of times people go into police officer rolls with
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: those intentions and they're ill equipped because of their personal biases,
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: because of their personal stresses, because of the things that
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: they know or they may not even know sometimes that
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: deep down made them want to be a cop. Oh well,
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: one time this black guy robbed me and my white wife.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: And now every time that I go out on the streets,
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: I'm very weary of black people. So now the moment
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: that I see a black person, I'm already shook up.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: I'm already apprehensive. I'm already this that and the third,
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: and the moment that that black person steps out of
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: the line that I feel like they should be in,
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: I'm just gonna jump. I'm just gonna pounce. I'm gonna
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: do this. That a third and that is why they
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: get indicted. As far as restoring eighth to the canmunity, Well,
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: first off, you need to choose a different career.
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: Bro.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: You've already established that there's something, there's some kind of
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: a disconnect that makes you incapable of handling the responsibilities
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: of the job that you have. So if you are
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: a police officer and you have wrongly ended someone's life,
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: I don't care what it is. If it was wrong
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: and you did it, that is not a job that
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: you need to have, in my humble opinion. M I
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: hope that helps Jamal. Hopefully the truth is out there
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: for you. What you got missed there?
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: My wife comes from me. Why did Target think that
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: this was a good idea? In our other stories? Going
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: to follow up and have the same idea like as
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: dollar General, God, no gonna sell dackeries.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: Imagine all the rail voue. Oh my god, dollar dollaridas.
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, Like, what's what's what's what
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: are we doing here? Is Ross gonna start selling rum punches?
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: Oh my god, Ross Aritas, tell me it's about the
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: thing Ross ritas, dollar readers, God damn McDonald McDonald's vodka.
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: Oh, it's all bad, It's all bad.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: It's home good fire ball God.
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: No, home, that's right.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: Safe weighs sex on the beach? Shutdn e? Should that
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: wraps it up for this week's WI files. Always answering

- 1:18:22Speaker 2: We'd love to readA up Next. We got news and
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: making naxos. Remember the truth is out there.
- 1:18:27Speaker 11: Indeed, there is no plan to jump Trump supporters. But
- 1:18:31Speaker 11: what if I said that I wish there was, If
- 1:18:33Speaker 11: not all of you, then certainly the most emboldent ones.
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: Now I'm not saying that.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: But what if I was.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: Would that be savage? Would it be violent? Uncivilized?
- 1:18:44Speaker 11: Because you know what I find violent and uncivilized unlating
- 1:18:48Speaker 11: a white nationalist that's president. I would argue that the
- 1:18:51Speaker 11: entire US government is stained with violence, and nobody embodies
- 1:18:55Speaker 11: that more than Donald Trump. This is someone who uses
- 1:18:58Speaker 11: hate speech, who openly incite violence every chance he gets,
- 1:19:02Speaker 11: something that culminated in an insurrection where people died.
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: This is the same man who once.
- 1:19:07Speaker 11: Said that we need quote one really violent rough day
- 1:19:11Speaker 11: of police retaliation to reduce crime. Does that sound familiar.
- 1:19:14Speaker 11: I'm sure it does. It's the plot of the fucking purge.
- 1:19:16Speaker 11: This is the same man who vowed to seek vengeance
- 1:19:18Speaker 11: towards his political opponents down to withholding disaster aid from
- 1:19:21Speaker 11: non compliance states that ain't violent as a base, Trump
- 1:19:26Speaker 11: supporters are so collectively violent that, regardless of the election results,
- 1:19:31Speaker 11: there were fears over how you motherfuckers would react had Kamalawan.
- 1:19:36Speaker 11: There were fears of a civil war, which really just
- 1:19:38Speaker 11: means y'all reigning terror on marginalized communities. Now that She's lost,
- 1:19:43Speaker 11: people are bracing for what the environment will be after
- 1:19:46Speaker 11: Donald Trump.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: Is sworn in.
- 1:19:47Speaker 11: And let's be clear, there is no far left in
- 1:19:50Speaker 11: this country. Y'all made that shit up, but I'm of
- 1:19:52Speaker 11: the opinion that there should be. This is not a
- 1:19:54Speaker 11: call for political violence from the left. There really couldn't be.
- 1:19:57Speaker 11: We don't have the freedom, especially as black and brown people,
- 1:20:00Speaker 11: the freedom that allows white supremacists to roam the streets
- 1:20:02Speaker 11: in red states.
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: Untouched by the way.
- 1:20:05Speaker 11: But it is me expressing that I'm tired of this
- 1:20:07Speaker 11: spineless as high road shit that democrats take in the
- 1:20:11Speaker 11: face of very clear violence from not only Donald Trump,
- 1:20:14Speaker 11: but the people that support him and the system that
- 1:20:16Speaker 11: allows for a politician like him to exist in the
- 1:20:18Speaker 11: first fucking place. So, instead of using the same tactics
- 1:20:21Speaker 11: that got rose Wood burnt down, you know those white
- 1:20:24Speaker 11: woman tears. How about y'all be glad that you aren't getting.
- 1:20:27Speaker 10: Your asses wooked?
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: Have a nice day?
- 1:20:32Speaker 8: How used to make you nauseous? On w RT are
- 1:20:37Speaker 8: Real Chalk Radio.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: These are some of the stories you might not read
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: about in the New York Times, the Washington Posts of
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: the Wall Street Journal. It's news to make you nauseous?
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: You want to go first in.
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: This lyric, Sure, I'll go for it. Say what action
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: in him? Maryland? Say what?
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: Oh God? What happened in your backyard?
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: A fourteen year old student at Potomac High School in Oxenhill, Maryland,
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: was brutally attacked last Thursday. The girls parents, demanding justice,
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: are now calling on police to arrest the teenage suspects
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: involved in the attack. The mother, I'm sorry. The father
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: who made a statement, and it reads. On December fifth,
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: twenty twenty four, I received a horrific phone call that
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: my fourteen year old daughter was the victim of a
- 1:21:33Speaker 3: brutal attack while attending cheerleading practice. According to a school official,
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: my child was found in her own pool of blood,
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: unconscious inside of a supply closet. My child was approached
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: by a mob of students in the hallway. Earlier that day,
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: school officials claimed they caught the situation that started by
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: a male who premeditatedly instigated the whole altercation before anything
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: could happen at that time was held where inside mediation,
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: this male individual was uncooperative, so that mediation was terminating. Note.
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: After that, with an altercation with the male, no parent
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: was called. My child was then sent to attend the
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: rest of her day at cheerleading practice. My child was
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: then in another altercation with the fellow cheerleader. The cheerleading
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: instructor had them do a sister activity. Later throughout cheerleading practice,
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: the cheerleading instructor and instructed my child to go to
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: the supply closet to get some pomp poms. My daughter
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: then told me once she went to that room to
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: get the pomp poms, she was approached by a mob
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: of students and that's where attacked her. Video evidence shows
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: that the students went inside that room for hold on
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: at least thirty minutes.
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: Video this is on video.
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: Yeah. Video evidence also shows after thirty minutes, for at
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: least twenty four minutes, no one came into that room
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: to find my child.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: And when they did, she had to be this viciously
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: shaken to regain consciousness, and no paramedics were called. She
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: said she was given ice pack and waited for parents
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: to come on the way. While parents were coming, then
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: paramedics were called. I have questions that could go on
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: for days, but I don't understand how a child could
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: be missing for nearly an hour. Please, we need this
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: brought to light. This should not be forgiven or left
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: under the rug. It is really a problem with our
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: PG County school systems and the safety of our children.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: Wow, the way this is all maybe I don't know. Please, yeah,
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: the way I would.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: Be silent in my mugshot.
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: I'm just saying, as a mom, do you see these
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: kinds of incidents increasing with this upcoming administration? I mean, duh,
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: but do you mean.
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: PG schools are the worst in my opinion over especially
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: over the past couple of years. Let's not meant let's
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: not forget. When I first moved here, y'all dropped my
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: five year old off at the wrong stop.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: Oh wow, you're five year old?
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: Are you five? So we moved to a new like
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: apartment complex and in the letter it states that pick
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: up and drop off is going to be in the
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: front at the gate, that's where all the other parents are.
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: So I'm sitting here waiting for my b baby and
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: I'm starting to see all these kids with backpacks and
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: I'm like, where's my baby. I don't see him. They
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: dropped him off at the back of the building. I
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: could not find my child. This is your car. He's
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: still I could not find my child for at least
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: thirty forty minutes. I'm crying. I'm running around. I'm on
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: the phone cussing at everybody who pick up the phone
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: at that school, like where the focus my child? Like
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: I was going through it. I'm asking people, have you
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: seen my baby? He had this on this It's the
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: most horrific feeling that anybody could have, especially with a
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: kid that young. I don't trust PG County schools. And
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: for the parents, if you happen to listen to this,
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: sue sue, sue, sue, sue, get your bag and protect
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: your baby by any means fucking necessary you have. I
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: have to because I'm going through something with my daughter
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: right now where she was inappropriately touched and the school
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: hadn't contacted me. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, and I cussed
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: each and every person out out Sure did, Sure did.
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: Who We're gonna have to talk about that one when
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: we're not talking to everybody else.
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: Hey, I'm not naming names. Nobody knows my daughter's name
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: or the school that she goes to. Just know that
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: I am in agreeance with these parents, like fight for
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: your baby, because nobody at these pissas schools are going
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: to fight for your child. But a.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: Wow, Okay, Well, speaking of the upcoming administration, say what
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: United States of America say what? So? Trump is out
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: here saying that bringing down grocery prices, which he promised,
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: is going to be quote very hard and honestly, if
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: that didn't make you feel a little nauseous, I don't
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: know what will. Here's why, let's talk about the promises.
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: Trump has a history of making big claims like we're
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: gonna did that, they're gonna did that, But then when
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: it comes down to the nitty gritty, it often feels
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: to me like those promises get lost and sold. Like
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: we've seen this play out time and time again, whether
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: it's about healthcare, whether it's about the economy, or now
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: grocery prices. This nigga liter really said that he was
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: going to bring down the price of specifically bacon, and
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: I said no, Still, y'all did not. And it's like
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: he's playing this game, a political twister, and we're all
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: just like kind of trying to keep our balance. Now,
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: let's keep it real about the grocery prices. Like, all
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: in all, we have all felt the pinch of the
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: grocery store, especially with inflation hitting hard. I think I
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: read a status the other day that somebody was talking
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: about they went to goddamn save a lot and mayonnaise
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: was nine dollars. They may have been exaggerating, but not
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: really that far off, you know what I'm saying. Prices
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: for the essential shit of like skyrocket and families are
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: struggling to make ends meet. Saw another status online, people
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: talking about I don't know how a single income household
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: is trying to, you know, surviving these days. It's hard.
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: It really is hard. M and people are struggling to
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: make ends meet. So for Trump to come out and
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: be like, it's gonna be very hard to bring these
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: prices down, it's just like adding insult to injury. Yeah,
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: it feels like he's acknowledging the problem. But not offering
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: really any solution, just a classic case of off without action.
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: Plus it's hard not to roll your eyes when you
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: think back to how he handled similar shit in the past.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: Many are left thinking and feeling like it's just all
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: political theater and we're the audience stuck in the run
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: row watching it all unfold. And I mean, honestly, it's
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: enough to make anybody feel queazy me everybody, especially when
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: you think about the real impact that these issues are
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: going to have on everyday people just trying to put
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: food on the table. So yeah, when you hear them
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: say something as crucial as grocery prices are gonna be
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: very hard to tackle, it's a reminder to all of
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: us of the unmet promises and the reality that we're
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: living in. We need leaders who are ready to roll
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: up their sleeves and get to work, not just throw
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: out vague statements and leave us feeling frustrated. It's time
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: for action, people, not just words. Don't y'all get that
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: shit is hard. It is hard. If you want these
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: and more nauseating news stories, make sure you follow us
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: over on our socials that r TR Real Talk Radio.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: I'm at mr CUS Smoot. That's Marcus Smooth.
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: And you can find me on TikTok, Facebook and Instagram
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: at Lerc Brovado.
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: All right, speaking of the rich. Dejarn it though, is
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: the topic of our real Talk subject this week. We're
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: talking about these rich since they want to be in
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: the cabinet, they want to be lording over us. All
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: let's talk about their will. Let's talk about whether or
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: not they earned it up next, Hey, vote for Trump
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: means your groceries will be cheaper.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: They'll also bring you a grocery bill away down.
- 1:30:38Speaker 10: I have more complaints on grocery.
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: The word grocery here, and it's sort of simple word,
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: but it sort of means like everything you.
- 1:30:44Speaker 8: Eat, the stomach is speaking.
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: It always does.
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: And I have more complaints about that bacon and things
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: going up double triple, quadruples. I haven't seen cheerios in
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: a long time. I'm going to take them back with
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: Bacon is through the roof. They're all of the roof.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: The milk.
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: Everything is bad, and we're gonna straighten it out.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: We're going to bring prices way down, and we get
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: it to get it done fast.
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: Trump tells Time magazine that while he wants to make
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: groceries cheaper. It's quote hard to bring things down once
- 1:31:15Speaker 4: they're up. You know, it's very hard.
- 1:31:20Speaker 8: One hundred. He's Real Talk. W RGI are real talk Radio.
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: We keep it real, right, Niggs and Jiggs, we back
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: to real talk in a segment we're calling did jarn
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: it though this lyric So we've read the headlines of
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: Trump stop piling this cabinet, this upcoming cabinet with all
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: these rich moguls, some never most actually never really held
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: holding any kind of political roles, and then it's like this,
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: it's air of like where the rich are going to
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: make all the rules for the poor. And Elon himself,
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: out of his own mouth, has said time and time
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: again that he believes that homelessness is a fake or
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: it's a myth, it doesn't really happen. That being said,
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: how does this upcoming administration and all the people in it, like,
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: how are you feeling as a person right now? And
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: just about their wealth and just first off, let's just
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: start with their ability to be able to execute this
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: I guess Project twenty twenty five or whatever they're allegedly
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: proposing the concepts of a plan or whatever it is
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: that Trump is actually doing. What are your personal opinions
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: about the cabinet right now?
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: As a work I feel like all of those people
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: are ridiculously idiotic. Nobody has a real plan. This is
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: not real life right now, because y'all just saying anything.
- 1:32:59Speaker 3: Y'all he's got anything to gain votes, meaning that he's
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: never had any intention except for the things that aligns
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: to his own agenda, agenda to fulfill any of the
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: promises that he's made to the American people. All he
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: is worried about is doing what he wants to do,
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: like making sure he has that mass deportation go on.
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: That's it's his agenda. That's what one of the things
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: that he's gonna do. Let me tell you something. Those
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: people are not worried about if the regular American can
- 1:33:38Speaker 3: afford groceries. They're not They're not worried about if the
- 1:33:43Speaker 3: working American can afford rent. They don't care. They don't
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: care about the stuff that working individuals like ourselves have
- 1:33:53Speaker 3: to worry about. Why because they have money, and their
- 1:33:57Speaker 3: money binds them to a lot of things that go
- 1:34:00Speaker 3: on in the United States and allows them to remain ignorant,
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: so to speak. They don't I agree a shit about anything.
- 1:34:11Speaker 3: Elon is the most ignorant shit you can ever say.
- 1:34:14Speaker 3: What are you talking about? Homelessness is fake? It's not
- 1:34:18Speaker 3: a real thing. Nobody thinks that it's expensive as shit
- 1:34:23Speaker 3: out here, But you wouldn't know that because you sitting
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: here living it up and your millions of dollars of
- 1:34:32Speaker 3: houses and shit, like you're living in the last of country.
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: So when we say that.
- 1:34:37Speaker 3: With the next person and what they're going.
- 1:34:40Speaker 2: And when well, my issue is that every time that
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: we make this point about how they're so disconnected from
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: the world, every time that we make that point about that,
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: a lot of the times we're met with the rebuttal
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: of oh, well, I mean, you're just jealous because my money.
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: And let's get into this whole concept of the white
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: wealth and the white wealth hoarding, because that's a real
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: conversation we need to have. When we talk about wealth
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: in America, it's almost essential to understand the history and
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: how it's been built, especially when it comes to black
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: and brown communities. So here's the deal. A lot of
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: wealth that's accumulated in white communities didn't just magically proof appear.
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: It's deeply rooted in a system that is benefited while
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: exploiting others. From slavery to Jim Crow to even today,
- 1:35:40Speaker 2: we see a pattern where black and brown bodies have
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: been used to build wealth for white folks and they've
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: held onto that wealth. You can't ignore that history when
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: you're looking at the wealth gap today. And let's take
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: a look at the land ownership. Back in the day,
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: land was literally stolen from indigenous people and then worked
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: by enslaved Africans. Fast forward to today and you see
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: how that historical advantage has set up a foundation for
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: generational wealth white families. White families were able to pass
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: down property and assets that were built during the on
- 1:36:18Speaker 2: the backs of us those that were oppressed us. So
- 1:36:23Speaker 2: when you ask whether they actually quote owned it, it's like, yes,
- 1:36:27Speaker 2: they owned it, but it's crucial recognized how that ownership
- 1:36:30Speaker 2: was a gene. And then there's whole this whole issue
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: of like the systemic barriers. Even after slavery was thrown
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: out and abolish policies like the GI Bill, mortgage lending
- 1:36:43Speaker 2: practices primarily benefited only white people while systemically excluding us
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: black and brown people. So it's not just about individual
- 1:36:55Speaker 2: effort it's about how the system has been rigged in
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: favor of one group over another. And girl, nobody's going
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: into your house to take your money. We're not doing that,
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: but we're saying you, you big rich bitch, I should
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: not have to pay in the same manner to live
- 1:37:14Speaker 2: in this country that you do. I shouldn't have to
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: I shouldn't have to agree that those saying I don't
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: have that money you do right now. It's comics discussion,
- 1:37:25Speaker 2: it is, And some folks might agree, and some folks
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: may argue that everybody has an opportunity to build their wealth,
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: but we've got to keep it real. Access to resources,
- 1:37:36Speaker 2: the education, economic opportunities all vastly unequal. And now you're
- 1:37:42Speaker 2: trying to go in and pull those out by the rooms.
- 1:37:46Speaker 3: First of all, you can't. People can't even say that
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: when the minimum wage doesn't even match the cost of living.
- 1:37:52Speaker 3: In order to even get an apartment, you have to
- 1:37:55Speaker 3: make three times the amount. How is that possible? It's
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: not how That's what I'm saying, Like, y'all, this this
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: country is not even realistic in what's actually going on
- 1:38:12Speaker 3: in America. Y'all keep saying that, you know what I'm
- 1:38:15Speaker 3: saying we're in a we're in a what you call it,
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: but nobody is like doing anything like to help besides
- 1:38:24Speaker 3: those little stemmy checks, which.
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: Exactly it's like running a race where where somebody starts
- 1:38:33Speaker 2: way ahead of others and other people are like just
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: stuck at the start live. They off running, We stuck
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: at the start live.
- 1:38:41Speaker 3: And some of y'all is voted for him, thinking that
- 1:38:43Speaker 3: he's the one who made it possible for you to
- 1:38:46Speaker 3: even get this fucking stimulus check. Wrong, you idiots, You're idiots.
- 1:38:52Speaker 2: Y'all have y'all have to think critically. Y'all have to
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: do some critical thinking about how wealth is accumulated, like
- 1:39:00Speaker 2: who benefits from it? Who benefits from this wealth, how
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: is it accumulated? How can we work towards a more
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: like equitable future. This is about understanding the past and
- 1:39:11Speaker 2: how it shapes our present. This is why you have
- 1:39:14Speaker 2: so many people passionately speaking now, because you are uprooting
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: the things that we fought for. We didn't do We
- 1:39:22Speaker 2: didn't do this specifically for black people. We did this
- 1:39:26Speaker 2: to improve the over overall quality for everybody. What do
- 1:39:30Speaker 2: you think that these mass deportations is really going to do.
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: That is going to hurt the economy in so many
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: different ways.
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: Mm hm, but that's what I want.
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: To So many of y'all are just, oh, may only
- 1:39:50Speaker 2: financial I would be go ahead, I'm sorry, go ahead.
- 1:39:56Speaker 3: It was so many people that voted for the staff
- 1:39:59Speaker 3: and that should not have It's ridiculous. Now you're about
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: to be without your abuela and your cousins and all
- 1:40:08Speaker 3: of them people you know like you. You got to
- 1:40:11Speaker 3: vote for this man. Now he's saying, fuck you and
- 1:40:14Speaker 3: your family. I don't give a fuck about none of
- 1:40:16Speaker 3: that ship. Even if you was born here, uh if
- 1:40:20Speaker 3: if if the mama that had you illegally uh came
- 1:40:24Speaker 3: over here, you got to be shipped the funk back to.
